- The Da Vinci Code: Woody Pride and Amélie Poulain run around Europe trying to solve the mystery of Amelie's father's death at the hands of Chaucer while being pursued by Inspector Leon. Gandalf and Dr. Octopus involve themselves in the vast conspiracy.
- Angels and Demons: Woody goes to Vatican City and helps Father Obi Wan-Kenobi. Lara Lor-Van and Boris Shcherbina are also in there.
- Inferno: Woody and the mysterious Jyn Erso search for a secret in Dante's Inferno that can help stopping the diabolical plan of a dead Medivh.
- Daddy Day Care: The plot follows Axel Foley, a busy working father and his wife, Marcee has just gone back to work as a lawyer. They enroll their son, Norbit Age 5, in the Chapman Academy, an expensive and very academic-focused preschool, headed by Mrs. Morticia Addams. Soon after, Axel is laid off. In need of money, he and Marcee must pull Norbit out of Chapman as the cost is far too high, but they cannot find a suitable alternative. Axel decides to open up a day care center, "Daddy Day Care" with the help of his best friend Cyclops, who was also laid off. At first the local moms are suspicious of men wanting to work with children (mainly because they assume they're homosexuals, pedophiles, or just plain incompetent). But as "Daddy Day Care" is cheaper and more child-centered than the Academy, the latter begins to lose popularity. Mrs. Addams attempts to shut down Daddy Day Care by notifying Child Services that that Axel and Cyclops are not following the regulations. The two now have to work tooth-and-nail to keep the place under regulation or their day care is shut down.
- Daddy's Home: The Other Guys (Ron Burgundy and Micky Ward) are rivals for the affection of Velma Dinkley and her kids.
- The Damned United: Tony Blair replaces Chief O'Brian at Leeds United; rodents Django (not that one) and Wormtail costar as another league's chairman and Blair's assistant, respectively.

Riff Raff is the leader of the Strangers, an alien race that inhabits the city.
- Dark Shadows: Sweeney Todd the vampire deals with various strange characters, including Bellatrix Lestrange, Hit-Girl, Catwoman, a lovely girl named after a scooter, Rorscasch, Saruman, and Sherlock Holmes.
- The Dark Tower (2017): Detective Cole fled across the desert, and DCI Luther followed.
- Dark Water (the American remake): After a divorce from Prince Henry, Sarah and her daughter move into a mysterious haunted apartment building, where Dr. Steve Brule is the landlord and Mr. Kobayashi is the superintendent. She hires Mr. Orange as her lawyer, and her daughter's teacher is Ellenor Frutt.
- Darkest Hour: Ruber becomes the new Prime Minister for the United Kingdom and is faced with decisions whether to negotiate with Adolf Hitler, or fight on knowing that it could mean a humiliating defeat for Britain and its empire, so he takes Debora on as a secretary. Talos is the King of England.
- Darkman: Bryan Mills is brutally disfigured after mobster Benny Stulwicz raids his lab. Bryan sets out on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge using his synthetic skin to make himself a Master of Disguise, while also using it to get back in touch with his girlfriend Marge Gunderson.
- Darkman II: The Return of Durant: Bryan is now Habib Marwan, and faces a rematch with Benny when he turns out to be Not Quite Dead.

- The Darjeeling Limited: Hansel McDonald reunites with his brothers Władysław Szpilman and Ash Fox aboard a train in India, one year after they attended the funeral of their father. - Suicide Squad (2016): Steve Hiller, RoboCop, Naomi Lapaglia (who used to be Rayon's "girlfriend"), Kyle Reese, Jessie Harkness and Margo Roth Spiegelman are a gang of Boxed Crooks trying to stop Laureline from destroying their world with some help from Glimmer. Annalise Keating is their handler.

- Wonder Woman: James T. Kirk, fighting the forces of Poseidon, catches the eye of Gisele whose mother should have been the Empress of Rome and whose combat teacher could have been the Queen of Florin. Remus Lupin is the actual villain of the story.
- Justice League: Charles, Daredevil, Gisele, Kevin and Henry form a team of superheroes to stop Julius Caesar from conquering Earth for Roadie Mick. Tenzin is a Gotham City police commissioner who's allied with Daredevil. Flash Thompson is a mercenary hired by Mark Zuckerberg to kill Daredevil.
- Game of Thrones Special: Roose Bolton is a reactionary terrorist who leads an attack on Old Bailey Court in London and gets his ass kicked by Wonder Woman. Mance Rayder is a New God who seeks to conquer the Earth, and Khal Drogo joins the Justice League to stop him. Also, Night's Watch recruiter Yoren was a king among the ancient men who helped repel the invasion by Steppenwolf/Darkseid.
- There was something going on between Bruce Wayne's aunt Patricia and Aquaman, if her Icelandic lament's Bilingual Bonus is any indication. And General Malcolm is Darkseid's underling.
- Also, it's ironic to hear Baba Voss say "You have eyes, so see!".
- Aquaman (2018): Ronon sets out to find a trident and become the king of Atlantis. His parents are Jango Fett and Dr. Chase Meridian, The Green Goblin trained him, Zoe is his ally and future Love Interest, and Nite Owl II is his half-brother and rival for the throne with Zack Taylor the Black Ranger as The Dragon. Oh, and, Drogo eventually gets to ride Mary Poppins in battle (no pun intended). And W. D. Wheeler has a score to settle with him.
- SHAZAM! (2019): Jonah Beck gains superpowers from Juba, which enable him to transform into Flynn Rider. Merlin is his nemesis. Jonah's foster brother is Eddie Kaspbrak. Lionel Luthor is Merlin’s dad.

- The Suicide Squad: RoboCop, Naomi, Steve, Kyle and Margo are sent by Annalise to Corto Maltese to stop Starro from destroying the world. They're joined on the mission by the likes of Bob Taylor, the Portuguese Spider-Gwen, Rocky Balboa, Luther, Agent Burns, Henry, Malcolm Reynolds, the Twelfth Doctor, Zeke, Khensa and Kirk Gleason. - Demolition Man: When psychopathic criminal Blade is "accidentally" unfrozen, Rambo is freed to capture him with the help of Annie Potter. - Did You Hear About the Morgans?: Carrie Bradshaw and her husband the Prime Minister of England are on the verge of divorce when they see a murder and are put into the Witness Protection Program and shipped to Montana.
- Die Hard: Korben Dallas is a NY cop visiting LA to see his wife Charlene Michaelson and daughter for Christmas. While he's at his wife's office Christmas party, a group of German terrorists led by Severus Snape takes them hostage, intending to rob them, with help from Trivette. Besides taking them on himself, Korben's only real help outside is LA cop Carl Winslow. Also stars Principal Vernon as the LA police chief, Franz Sanchez and Hawkins as two similarly named FBI agents, and Walter Peck as a TV journalist.
- Die Hard 2: One Christmas later, Korben, with assistance from Carl, a detective skeptical about vampires, and Frank Nixon, must stop a terrorist group after they take over a Washington D.C. airport, the leader of which is Death and whose henchman include the T-1000 and Benny Blanco.

- Magnum Force: Rowdy's back, and investigating some motorcycle cops (Hutch, Vice President John Hoynes and P.I. Dan Tanna) doing some vigilante killing on the streets of San Francisco. Curiously, Rowdy's superior Abraham Lincoln seems to resent him sniffing around. With blink-and-you'll-miss-them cameos by Chrissy Snow and Apollo Creed.
- The Enforcer: This time out, Rowdy and his new partner Director of Damage Control Anne Marie Hoag aim to take down a militant gang of hippie terrorists who kidnap the Mayor. Swamp Thing makes an appearance.
- Sudden Impact: "Somebody's doing some killing," says Rowdy, and he's determined to find out who. Little does he know it's his new love interest Lynn Halsey-Taylor, taking out the scumbags who raped her and her sister years ago. With appearances by Commissioner Gordon, Frank Pentangeli, Coach Balbricker and Eleanor Frutt.
- The Dead Pool: After rock singer Ace Ventura is murdered, Rowdy discovers his name was on a "dead pool" list: a sick betting game being played by, among others, horror movie director Qui-Gon Jinn. Rowdy's name is on the list too, and he's another target of the crazy killer who likes RC cars. Putting in appearances in this last Dirty Harry adventure are Melinda Moores, Corabeth Walton Godsey, Chop Shop, Gul Dukat and Guns N' Roses!
- Dirty Rotten Scoundrels: Con artists Alfred Pennyworth and Navin R. Johnson compete to see which one can get $50,000 out of United States Soap Queen Tess Trueheart. Joining in the fun are Tom "Thank You Very Much" Jenkins and Emperor Palpatine (which is rather strange when you realize the movie was directed by Yoda!).
- The Disaster Artist: A biopic about The Room's director Harry Osborn based on a book written by his best friend Jack Wilder.
- Disorganized Crime: Arnie Becker, a New Jersey bank robber, is hiding out in Montana and decides he wants to rob a small-town bank there. So he writes letters to his friends Herman Munster, Ritchie Valens, Daniel Salazar, and Alan Matthews to come help him. But just after he mails the letters, he gets captured by two New Jersey cops, Al Bundy and Jay Leno. Comic hijinks ensue. Randall Peltzer is the local sheriff.
- Disney Live-Action Remakes:
- Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland (2010): Alice (who previously hid out in the woods with Jewish guerrilla fighters) follows the White Castor and is transported back to Wonderland where she reunites with the Mad Jack Sparrow, the Red Queen Bellatrix Lestrange (and her Knave, Grendel), Caterpillar Professor Snape, and the Cheshire Melchett and meets the White Queen of Gotham, Wormtail the bloodhound, and the evil "dragon" Count Dooku. Also present is a field of Umbridge blossoms, and Alice's Maiden Aunt is Madam Maxine. The sequel has Alice stealing Borat's time machine.
- Maleficent: Lara Croft is a scheming sorceress with plans for princess Mei and king Wikus. The sequel has Mei's potential mother-in-law Susie Diamond being possibly as mean as Lara.
- Cinderella (2015): Directed by Professor Lockhart: Lady Galadriel seeks to keep her stepdaughter Lady Rose McClare away from Prince Robb Stark in order to boost her own daughters Lady Gwynnie and the Duchess' status but The Queen of Hearts has other ideas. With Peggy Carter and Erik Selvig as Rose's birth parents.
- The Jungle Book (2016): Patsey and Gus are wolves who raise a human boy brought to them by Itzhak Stern, needing to keep him safe from Luther, who wants to kill the boy. Black Widow also wants to eat the kid after hypnotizing him first, the Headless Hessian wants him to make him human, and Dr. Venkman just wants the bear necessities. Also starring Verne and the guys who directed this movie and Spider-Man.
- Beauty and the Beast (2017): Hermione Granger lives with her dad Artemis Gordon and tries to avoid the attention of Bard of Laketown and his sidekick Olaf the snowman. Meanwhile spoiled brat Matthew Crawley really, really screwed up and now he and his servants Gandalf, young Obi-Wan Kenobi, (concert version) Mrs. Lovett and The Beggar Woman, Caesar Flickerman, and Belle (a different Belle) are stuck as Forced Transformations.
- Christopher Robin: Rodney Copperbottom leads an unhappy adult life living with Peggy Carter and working for Mycroft Holmes, so Dr. Robotnik jumps out of his childhood to help him find his smile, as well as Fuzzy Lumpkins, Eddie Stark, Gunnar Eversol, the Twelfth Doctor, and the Wachati princess.
- Aladdin (2019): Street urchin Tarek Kassar is sent by conniving sorcerer Druses to find a magic lamp; inside is the djinn Deadshot, waiting to grant him three wishes. Sultan Shadow King wants to marry off his daughter Pink Ranger (her handmaiden is Lil' Blaster) to Rapunzel's Prince. Scooby-Doo is Kassar's monkey sidekick; Ben Chapman is Druses' parrot familiar. Megatron guards the Cave of Wonders.
- Cruella: Wichita is a plucky orphaned pickpocket working with friends Hizdahr zo Loraq and Richard Jewell, who finds herself on a collision course with a villainous destiny after scoring her dream job working under fashion magnate Nanny McPhee. Future sweethearts Grace Monroe and Nandor also appear.
- Mulan (2020): When Wong Fei-hung issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders attacking China, Golden Sparrow, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. She is spirited, determined, and quick on her feet. Masquerading as a man, Hua Jun, is tested every step of the way and must harness her inner strength and embrace her true potential.
- Disturbia: Sam Witwicky is a teenage boy still grieving the death of his father, Clayton Jarvis. After he ends in trouble when he attacks his teacher for insulting Clayton, he is confined to his home. Soon his mother Trinity cuts him off from electronics. Sam begins to spy on his neighbors, and soon begins to think that one of his neighbors, Michael Tritter, is a serial killer. With help from his best friend, Thorn, and his new neighbor, Lacey, they investigate Michael.
