Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

  • Opposed by/Opposes:
  • Conflicting Opinion:
  • Lobotomy Corporation was one of the 26 Wings of the World that governed the City and its inhabitants. The main branch’s facility is divided into departments, each one managed by a different AI known as a Sephirah. While they do their jobs well enough, their personalities are all dysfunctional in some shape or form. As the Manager would find out, their connection with the Sephirot goes far deeper than just working at the same company. Save for Angela, the Sephirot are not true AI — they’re people he was familiar with in life as Ayin before L Corp was formed, resurrected as machines leading the different sectors where he would eventually make peace with after their Meltdowns during the time loop and fulfilling their ultimate goal of curing mankind’s “disease”.
    • Thinking they’d finally be laid to rest after shining the Seed of Light across the City, Angela rose up and tried to hijack it for herself. After a long battle, the two sides decided to strike a deal in which Angela would create the Library. Here, they’d be brought back and serve as Patron Librarians and help receive Guests while they hope to complete the project they bled and died for. Despite their agreement, none of them are thrilled to throw human life away again and are very vocal about it even as the Library grows and rises in threat level, though thankfully Angela would eventually have a change of heart and restart the Seed of Light after all.
  • (ascension)
  • Like Angela and Roland they would be joined by the Assistant Librarians, former employees of L Corp’s main branch, to serve as their Heralds. They mainly helped assist the Patron Librarians in receiving Guests though after Angela’s change of heart they no longer do that. In the Pantheon, they are usually either on their off time or running errands for their bosses and during their first day, they wasted no time in taking some time off after everything happened.
    • Contrasting the Head Librarian and Grade 9 Fixer, however, the group would be joined by another Herald: Tiphereth B aka Enoch. Having suffered breakdowns and restarts that became more frequent over time he was eventually put to rest by the time L Corp went under. Everyone else chose to leave them alone as Tiphereth A/Lisa tearfully reunited with her dearest companion.
  • (Abnormalities)
  • Malkuth only:
    • The cheerful and passionate Patron Librarian of History and former Serphirah Head of the Control Team. She was once an impatient and clumsy woman named Elijah whose desperate desire to prove herself lead to her death to Cogito after a private experient went horrifically wrong. Reborn as Malkuth, she retained the earnest desire of her previous life which lead to her pushing the employees under her care to their absolute limit. Following her Meltdown, however, began to move past her desire for validation in favor of standing on her own two feet instead. While Malkuth is still as bright and hardworking as ever, she takes care to be more reflective of the past instead of blinding moving forward after becoming a Librarian.
    • (people who were/are clumsy and/or wanted to prove themselves)
    • (dreams of being an architect after everything)
    • ”It feels good to finally have the time to reflect on myself. Looking back at the lives I lived and the history I made. I think we didn’t spend enough time looking back. We were all too busy heading forward.”
  • Yesod only:
    • The calm, orderly, and professional Patron Librarian of Technological Sciences who was once the head of the Information Team. His past life as Gabriel was much the same, but something about him changed after Elijah’s death. While he bottled up his emotions his guilt surrounding her demise became an obsession with safety and soon he couldn’t stand to expose his skin lest he kept scratching at himself until he clawed himself to death. As Yesod, his cold demeanor earned him the reputation of being a heartless Sephirah but it couldn’t be any farther from the truth. Following his Meltdown, Yesod allows himself to be more expressive without having to compromise his judgment and it is best shown with disdain for Angela’s plans with the Library and her emphasis on the results rather than the process.
    • (logical but willing to express his emotions)
    • (Neat Freak)
    • “We live in a world where everything changes constantly. It is not necessarily rational or wise to blindly follow a goal determined in the past. To keep up with the rapid changes this world goes through, we must maintain discretion at all times.”
  • Netzach only:
    • The lethargic and moody Patron Librarian of Art and former Sephirah Head of the Safety Team. His original self, Giovanni, was an orphan who grew up in K Corp’s Nest and was a childhood friend to Carmen. He kept to himself for the most part, but he ended up volunteering for an experiment that was said to save the life of Carmen. In reality, it was to test Cogito’s dosage and his “noble sacrifice” did nothing to save a woman who was already gone. Waking up as Netzach, he hated his job because he saw no point in trying to save the employees and mainly drank and took Enkephalin to pass the time. After his attempt at overdosing failed, Netzach took a step back and began to hold onto a bit of hope for the future and push through the pain to continue living. While Angela’s sabotage of the Seed of Light did little wonders for his mood, he still took what he learned back then to heart like everyone else and retained his appreciation for life and courage to live through many more tomorrows.
    • (drinking)
    • (patron of the floor of art, dreams of being one himself in another life)
    • “Whatever you might be feeling right now, don’t just throw it away. Life goes on, after all. We all deserve to turn to the next chapter of our lives. So try to believe that there’s always gonna be an upcoming page to what you might be thinking is the end. Simply living out your life can be its own work of art.”
  • Hod only:
    • Empathetic, demure, and overall very approachable Patron Librarian of Literature who used to lead the Training Team. Michelle was a young and timid girl in Carmen’s circle of followers. While bold to leave her Nest life behind, Michelle became increasingly disturbed by the deaths of her fellow colleagues. At one point she broke under pressure and reported what she saw to the Head, who proceeded to send an Arbiter to destroy the lab, and the guilt was enough for her to hang herself. As Hod, she saw her second life as a chance to make up for what she has done, but it was partly driven to assure she’s a good person. Her overbearing will to help had mixed results, and her lack of appreciation for it led to her Meltdown. After that, Hod came to a realization about her selfishness and vowed to be more genuine in her attempts from that point onward. Despite her grievances, Hod couldn’t bring herself to hate Angela believing she had her own reasons and sorrows to do so and believes she’s capable of becoming a good person in the end as well (which would be proven right, though it would be a long journey beforehand).
    • (whistleblowers: Tommy Angelo. Hoxton hates ‘em)
    • (book club)
    • “Everyone has their own stories. Even if someone is committing bad things right now… I don’t want to judge them based on solely the snippets I see of them. So I try to understand them in depth.”
  • Tiphereth only:
    • The blunt and direct kid with a sharp tongue who serves as the Patron Librarian of Natural Sciences, formerly one of the dual Sephirot of the Central Command Team. In life, she was a little girl named Lisa who was always by the side of a boy named Enoch. They lived in the Outskirts together until a Fixer named Kali brought them to Carmen’s lab. Enoch was idealistic and wise for his age and volunteered for an experiment in Carmen’s stead that got him killed and Lisa cursed Carmen for it. She herself would be killed by the Arbiter’s attack on their facility in the Outskirts but she and Enoch would be resurrected as the Sephirah Tiphereth. While they handled their roles well, Tiphereth B/Enoch was prone to breaking which led to him being disposed of and replaced. Having to relive his death over and over again leads to Tiphereth A/Lisa breaking down. Following that, she admits that she held no expectations for the future as he did and was seriously bitter over not being able to see things the way he did. Starting now, however, Tiphereth would begin to hold onto the idea that things could get better next time and there's something to be found after going through so much pain.
    • (Enoch)
    • (magical girls)
    • “It’s expectations that give us the strength to push through hardship... That we can trust things to become better tomorrow. That my life holds possibilities and significance that could make this world a better place.”
  • Gebura only:
    • The usual ways to describe the Patron Librarian of Language and former head of the Disciplinary Team are as follows: Hot-blooded. Kali grew up in the Backstreets of District 23, a part of the City infamous for cannibalism. She got used to the ever-present brutality there and took up Fixer work to get by and try and protect the people who didn’t disappear so soon. Sometime before becoming the Red Mist she overheard Carmen giving one of her many speeches in the Backstreets and ended up following her because her instincts told her she wasn’t any other hack or swindler. Even someone as strong as Kali could not elude death as she gave her life trying to defend the facility from rampaging Abnormalities, two Claws, and an Arbiter. Her failure to protect everyone manifested as an ever-burning hatred for Abnormalities which almost lead to the Sephirah leveling the company in her Meltdown. She soon calmed down upon recalling she didn’t completely fail to protect everyone and became far more cool-headed and tempered which carried over while becoming a Librarian.
    • (mercs + protectors)
    • (Red Mist E.G.O. and Mimicry: Soul Series deities)
    • (Tame Her Anger)
    • “I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel any anger or regret. Even though I couldn’t protect everyone, I saved the ones I could.”
  • Chesed only:
    • Probably the most casual and social of his group, whether as the Patron Library of Social Sciences or the Sephirah Head of the Welfare Team. He was a member of the upper-class named Daniel who had the intelligence and skill to pursue whatever future he wanted but his path would lead to him being among Carmen’s supporters. His life would come to an abrupt end at the hands of an Arbiter, who would intimidate him into releasing the Abnormalities on site. While Chesed would start off eager to work in L Corp, his position would soon break him into becoming into the laidback Sephirah directly under Angela’s thumb. After his attempt at rebellion is foiled during his Meltdown, Chesed chooses to not let his guilt and shame control him while he stops running away from the future and work towards making it better. While Angela foiling the Seed of Light and becoming a Librarian under her wing is unfortunate, Chesed is calm and relaxed as ever with the added caveat of being genuinely optimistic this time around. His somewhat playful attitude can (deliberately) get on people’s nerves, Gebura being his usual target, but its all in good faith and is a genuinely nice person.
    • (coffee. Godot, Pandemonica, Jack Atlas, Sojiro)
    • “Maybe we can’t change the things considered normal right away. Even then, we’ll know shame at the very least. Simply knowing shame in this society will change a lot of things.”
  • Binah only:
    • Enigmatic, ominous, and insightful are perhaps the biggest descriptors when describing the Patron of Philosophy and former Sephirah of the Extraction Team. As a human, she wasn’t a part of Carmen’s circle but an Arbiter sent to eradicate them and their lab. Thanks to the Red Mist incapacitating her, Ayin was able to probe her mind of the information needed to elude the Head’s wrath before converting her as a Sephirah in charge of the Well. As Binah, she despised Ayin for the torture she currently endures and found it laughable he stuck himself in the same hell to achieve some lofty goal. Her tune would change after witnessing his perseverance firsthand and became more supportive of his goals of breaking the cycle of the City. While she would willingly assist Angela’s rebellion, she still speaks of him highly and encourages those to be more open-minded about him. By the time she became a Librarian, she is genuinely courteous and personable compared to the unrepentant sadist she once was. Not only would she provide Roland the final lesson that would push him to spare Angela she also saved him and Gebura from the Head’s agents and assists in defending Angela from them by the end.
    • (tea: Uncle Iroh, Byleth, Alice)
    • (Singularities)
    • ”The City as it is. Humans as they are. And us as we are. Observe simply what your eyes can see, without imputing any external values to it.”
  • Hokma only:
    • The Patron Librarian of Religion and previous head of the Records Team is serious, wise, and most of all stalwart. Benjamin, also known as B, was Ayin and Carmen’s closest confidant. As the other survivor of the Arbiter’s attack on their hideout, he was responsible for kickstarting the Smoke War to found L Corp and assisted in creating Angela. Loyal as he was, though, he ended up becoming disillusioned by Ayin and left him. However, he would eventually come back to try and get Ayin to leave everything behind, but he would be killed and converted into a Sephirah through Ayin’s orders. Now known as Hokma, his only solace then was spending time with Ayin along with their other deceased loved ones but eventually relented after his Meltdown. He is perhaps left the most bitter by Angela thwarting the Seed of Light but even with his current abrasive attitude he still took the time to point out that deep down she also cared about the Sephirot and she doesn’t need to heed Carmen’s advice anymore, the final lesson that would allow her to finally back down from her goals.
    • (loyalty and faith to A/Ayin)
    • (time)
    • “You must accept the death of the past, and reinvigorate yourself as you head toward the future, so that you may live on. No matter what conflicts, agonies, and regrets you may face in that process… You have to grow onward while facing the future and be born again.”

[up][up][up] Ack, i'm sorry. I should've read the rules again after merely observing for so long, my bad.

Speaking of profiles, though, while i'm here... here's an incomplete draft of what i have managed to do. Is this writing good enough, or is it too fluffy/broken/expository?

edit: [up] Since they ascended after Angela and L-Corp, maybe they gets ascended from mere heralds by X's reccomendation?

  • Japan, July 28, 2010. An idyllic day in Akihabara district gets broken up as a report come in: Kurisu Makise, the famous young scientist living abroad in America, has been found dead bathed in blood in the Radio Kaikan building. Police quickly come in to secure the scene, but what they found out was more bizzare than the report imply: turns out Kurisu has merely been knocked out harmlessly, and the pool of blood she's covered in was that of another man entirely, one she has never met before yet has a faint memories of. Thus starts and ends the adventure of this man, a scientific adventure that shakes the very foundation of physics and society...
    • Hououin Kyouma is the name of a man intent to plunge the world controlled by "The Organization" into chaos by using his massive IQ and terrible inventions! ...or rather, that's what Rintarou Okabe fashioned himself as. In reality, Okabe is a normal if geeky teenager currently majoring in engineering in Tokyo. But a normal life is not fun, so he styles himself as a mad scientist, rents an apartement room to call it as his lab, and make 'inventions' (simple Homemade Inventions mostly based on popular media) with his group of friends. This changes when, in a stroke of luck, he managed to send text messages to the past (and bananas, but they get "jellified" in the process and thus useless for physical travel) with a microwave and a phone. This would be the start of various experiments to determine the door for Time Travel and on perfecting his machine... in which he awakens to what he would dub "Reading Steiner", the ability to keep memories of provious timelines. This is how he can remember finding Kurisu Makise dead despite meeting her alive and well a day later. Unfortunately, it doesn't give him the memories of the current timeline which, coupled with his No Social Skills, often puts him at strife with his friends.
      • ...And put him on the crosshair of an actual shadowy organization, with the public front of SERN, who are intent to capitalize on time travel technology to turn the future into a totalitarian dystopia, and hires Rounders to wring that technology out of him. This worldline also comes with the caveat that his Childhood Friend, Shiina Mayuri, will die on a certain date because of some kind of convergence. To avoid both of that, he needs to exploit his Reading Steiner (and the improved Time Machine, thanks to the help by Kurisu) to retry the week away and rescind back the dreams and wishes he has brought to his lab members who tested the time machine with him to go from this "Alpha" worldline back to the original, "Beta" worldline. He succeeded, but in the process he grew in love with Kurisu, which makes returning to the Beta worldline where she was dead difficult, to say the least. Nevertheless he did it, and with that he tries to move on... until he was told of another choice: Save Kurisu Makise, and reach Steins Gate, a worldline of peace, where no one will fight for time travel. Of course, he chose that... but his first try ends up horribly, with him killing Kurisu in the heat of the moment. That along with the fresh trauma from the Alpha worldline almost made him give up on her altogether, but a slap and a pep talk from his future self in this timeline brings him back to his senses, and he successfully Tricked Out Time (by tasing Kurisu and using his own blood as the 'corpse's' blood that he will see). And with that, he finally and truly reached Steins Gate, and the world's causality will be left alone...
    • But wait, future Okabe? Yeah... when 'first' arriving at the Beta worldline, he was too distraught at killing Kurisu a second time that he rejected his last attempt at saving her and the world, eschew time travelling entirely as Things Man Was Not Meant To Know, abandons his Hououin Kyouma persona and tries to move on. It was hard, as he kept having PTSD-induced panic attacks, with Kurisu's research team giving a seminar on, and asking him to test, a system with a memory copy of her before coming to japan not helping matters, and Suzuha egging on him to try one more at saving the Bad Future of World War III, but he was able to clean his act somewhat... until the precipice of World War 3 itself comes knocking on his door, killing Mayuri yet again as she tries to Set Right What Once Went Wrong, and a time skip forward to see just how terrible World War-ravaged world actually is. After that? He go back to his time, enduring thousands of Time Leaps, awakens back his Hououin Kyouma persona, and manages to outwit both Russia and America in getting rid of the Time Machine. Last time anyone see him, he's entering the time machine, after sending the video for his past self, to go to a place where the successful Mayuri (and Suzuha) gets stranded to.
  • One day in the lab, just after another one of "Round Table Meeting" (In the Steins Gate timeline, it's merely hanging out and chatting the afternoon away between members), he got a knock on the door from his landlord Mr. Braun silently handing him a sealed and plain letter with only his name on it. Far from an eviction notice or Suzuha's suicide note that he feared (way too loudly) however, it was a notice from the Pantheon that he has ascended to the Pantheon, as the patron of Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory for his adventures on the Alpha and Beta worldline to reach Steins Gate, and the steps for his ascension. The other members reading alongside him quickly write it off as Okabe being Okabe, but he knew different. Right after reading the letter, he laughs his signature laugh, and quickly announces "Operation Mimir" to everyone; to go to this Pantheon place and announces the great ascension of the great Hououin Kyouma to everyone there.
    • ...He made this 'grand' entrance by screaming "I AM MAD SCIENTIST! IT'S SO COOL!" out loud to the masses of the Pantheon. This is him being awkward at the western feel of the Pantheon; he quickly drops it when it turns out he can just speak Japanese thanks to the Pantheon's Translator Microbes.
  • Yes, Okabe ascended while Kurisu was made one of his herald. Yes, that means she now truly is his Assistant. No, he won't shut up about it, and neither will she stop denying it. That's just the way their relationship has always been.
  • There is technically two Okabe that has ascended, one who has reached Steins Gate and one who manages to escape Reading Steiner from Beta by going to the distant past. They often oscillate between which one is in this timeline. Considering both Character Development, their only practical difference is in their memory of current event.
  • Due to his traumatic adventures, and despite his title, he still renounces Time Travel as Things Man Was Not Meant To Know. In the Pantheon, where there's already so many gods related to time and time travelling, he resigned himself to be a time police, but only to help stabilize the world from a dystopian future, whatever it means in the chaotic realm that is the pantheon.
  • His temple is a copy of his rented building, complete with the CRT TV shop on the ground floor. It's here where he stores his prized collections: his various Future Gadgets (examples being a universal TV remote in the shape of ray gun, an instant humidifier shaped as a landmine, and a flying <???> toy with a small camera under it), with his most protected being the PhoneWave (Name still subject to change). He had made sure that it's working as a normal, phone-message-operated microwave, with the big CRT acting as its lifter plugged off and barred until he needed to send a D-mail. Should he really, truly need it to be a Time Leap Machine, he can always order his heralds for an upgrade (in spite of their irritance).
    • So no, you can't microwave bananas and make them "soft and squishy" anymore. That joke has run its course, even to him (Though he won't object to it as offering).
    • There's also the satellite-like future time machine that he still will made, but the ones on his roof is a replica with its insides hollowed out. The real thing is hidden somewhere else back in his world, Invisible to Normals.
  • Make no mistake: despite his Chuunibyou nonsense, he will fight against those Mad Scientists who truly wants (or has) thrown the world into chaos. especially if it will hurt those who are close to him.
    • On the flipside, he will also fight against totalitarian rulers and shadow goverments. He don't want any kind of dystopias in his future again.
    • He's also curiously specifically against abusive parents, because Kurisu's father, with the pen-name of Dr. Nakabachi, is one himself, even if his degree of abuse depends on the timeline.
  • [[Apparently his Hououin Kyouma persona in the dub is very similar to The Doctor. I never saw Doctor Who. Please help]]

[up] The formatting of the title is incorrect (no need to put "!" in front).

You can expand on the sections telling about him opposing mad scientists, dystopian governments and abusive parents (Mad scientists include Promestein and Victor Frankenstein, tose affiliated with dystopian governments include Captain Beatty and O'Brien, abusive parents include Ozai, Ragyo Kiryuin, and Shao Kahn).

@Crownless

For Malkuth, Mikuru Asahina is also a clumsy girl.

For Yesod, Spock is the archetypal "stoic and logical" character. [[Yuki Nagato is also a quiet, stoic, logica; person. Rei Ayanami and Byleth are largely emotionless people who grew more expressive over time.

For Hod, Sol Badguy atones for creating the destructive gears by hunting them down. Devola and Popola's future models were programmed to feel eternal guilt over failing Project Gestalt.

For Netzach, Tanaka-kun, Jota, Robbie Rotten, Belphegor and Sans are lazy slackers. Yusuke Kitagawa, Adeleine and Marianne are also painters.

First draft of these SCP guys. What corrections lore-wise should I make?

The Factory, Unholy Organization Of Horrific Factories (Bright's Proposal for SCP-001, possibly formerly The Anderson Factory)

SCP-914 (The Clockworks)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gears.jpg
One of the least complex sections of SCP-914 in a non-active state.
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1092258129_preview_914.jpg
SCP-914 in full according to SCP: Secret Laboratory.
  • Appearance: A large clockwork device weighing several tons and covering an area of eighteen square meters, consisting of screw drives, belts, pulleys, gears, springs and other clockwork.
  • Class Level: 4note
  • Museum Check: Granted (requires authorization by the SCP Foundation first)
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Clock Punk, Black Box, Has Five Settings; Rough, Coarse, 1:1, Fine And Very Fine, Snarky Inanimate Object, Troll, can be a Wild Card, Very Fine Objects Can Be Unstable, Mundane Utility
  • Domains: The Anomalous, Clockworks, Machines, Conversion, Alterations
  • Under ownership of: The SCP Foundation
  • Source of interest: The Grand United Alliance of Machines, Sauron, deities in the Houses of Gaming, Machinery and Technology, Nature and Weapons
  • Restricted testing: Anything that could compromise SCP-914, explosive or biological materials (currently banned from testing under any circumstances), any artifact that ranks Class 3 or higher on the Treasure Classification System, non-organic deities (only permitted under express approval of the O5 Council)
  • SCP-914. Object Class: Safe. The Clockworks, as it's known, is a large clockwork device weighing several tons and covering an area of eighteen square meters, consisting of screw drives, belts, pulleys, gears, springs and other clockwork. It is incredibly complex, consisting of over eight million moving parts comprised mostly of tin and copper, with some wooden and cloth items observed. It has the anomalous ability to modify any material under five quality settings: "Rough", "Coarse", "1:1", "Fine" and "Very Fine". Though it still follows internal rules (eg: it cannot alter the atomic structure of items) the lack of energy lost in the process among other things makes it anomalous. SCP-914 is kept in research cell 109-B.
  • The SCP Foundation was reluctant at first to add any artifact in their custody to the Great Treasury, but they were persuaded following an argument with the Court of the Gods that the wide array of material at the Trope Pantheon's disposal could be used in SCP-914. If one wants to utilize the Clockworks, their request must be approved of by at least Dr Gears or someone with Level 4 clearance. Basic tests with mundane and pantheonic items were done to showcase the five settings.
    • Rough: Breaks apart an item into varying/different parts. For example, a steel ingot was cut via laser into a variety of steel chunks. A 1 kilogram ingot of adamantium was given from Charles Xavier for a test, and despite its near-indestructibility SCP-914 was able to break it into a variety of pieces. They were later returned to him and smelted back together after testing the pieces under an electron microscope.
    • Coarse: A more sophisticated deconstruction of items. The same type of steel ingot was cut into steel screws. Due to a freak accident involving Bender's shiny metal ass, said ass plate was put on coarse. The result was multiple ash trays useful for putting cigarette butts in. Recursive testing on one of the unused Bender-based ash trays resulted in different elemental lumps; 30% iron, 40% zinc, 40% titanium, 40% lead, and the remaining 40% material that makes up dolomite. No-one can figure out how they got more material than was present and the resulting material has been classified as SCP-914-A55.
    • 1:1: Swaps an item with something of equal value. Eugene Krabs was eventually convinced to give a photocopy of the Krabby Patty Secret Formula in exchange the SCP Foundation would never allow information of the formula to escape, and plenty of money. His reasoning? He wanted to make a back-up meal in case Plankton ever succeeds at stealing the formula. The result? A recipe for delicious crab meat. Mr Krabs proceeded to incinerate the crab meat formula and requests amnestics.
    • Fine: Improves the item. Professor X got permission to put in a copy of the instructions for how to make adamantium. The result was the instructions to make proto-adamantium, which for security reasons he's kept close to his chest. After seeing the 1:1 test Plankton decided to use a copy of the chum formula the Chum Bucket uses. The result? The chemical composition of cyanide. A second test was a bunch of expletives at Plankton's expense. Most people agreed they were both improvements to the Chum Bucket secret formula.
    • Very Fine: Fine Up To Eleven. However Very Fine can make the item unstable so unless you're willing to risk losing the item it's advised not to use this setting. When a spare Pokeball was put under the Very Fine setting the result was a Master Ball. When said Master Ball was put under the Very Fine setting it started shaking for ten seconds and captured the the D-Class made to test it. Attempts to open the Very Fine Master Ball have failed and anyone who touches it suffers from third degree burns. Research is in progress in hopes of using this anomalous item to capture SCP-682.
  • Anything that could compromise SCP-914, and explosives aren't even considered for test drive. Another ban on testing is biological material due to its inherently chaotic results. A D-Class that was tested on the Very Fine setting became a violent and unstable superhuman. As Death Is Cheap they're mortified at the idea of some of the stronger deities using it to upgrade themselves and using said rule to retain their upgrades; even suggesting an overdeity should be put on the Very Fine setting risks demotion to D-Class. Already homicidal and immortal gods like Voldemort are trying to put themselves in the Very Fine setting to become Keter class gods.
  • Other artifacts, both in the Treasury and outside of it, are a strict "NO" when it comes to experimenting. If someone is stupid enough to try and, say, request the Chaos Heart be tested they will be immediately thrown to SCP-682's containment chamber, forced to look at SCP-096's face in its cell, or both. Sauron believes the Clockworks will allow the One Ring to give him power equal to Sauron. Surprisingly Darkseid doesn't want to test the Anti-Life Equation even if he gained private control of SCP-914. His reason was simple: it could become too unstable and dangerous for even him to wield. One of his avatars paid dearly for messing with the Equation.
  • Though not biological it is currently ruled no version of the Philosopher's Stone permitted. This is to avoid invoking the wrath of Truth and the stone being made of human souls. That said, it's possible the Coarse setting might be allowed one day as a means of freeing said souls from their torment. Any item that directly alters any biological organism like the Stone Mask or the Stand Arrow is currently banned from experimentation too. Diavolo has been trying to get the latter on Fine so he may gain a Requiem Arrow for himself, and the Pillar Men believe they can turn any Stone Mask into a Red Stone of Aja mask.
  • Despite what's been mentioned some artifacts in Maximum Security have been considered by the O5 Council for testing. They're currently stuck deciding whether SCP-914 can be trusted to improve the Pure Hearts, the Golden Throne or the Omnitrix. Big E calculates that if the Golden Throne was put in the Fine setting it could cure him of his pain, no longer malfunction and require far less psykers sacrificed to it. Since he still needs to be attached to not immediately die and is a biological organism, this hasn't materialized. Azmuth is more accepting of the idea of using the Fine setting on the Ultimatrix, itself basically the Fine setting of the Omnitrix.
  • Usage on artifacts, whether they are part of the Great Treasury or not, are permitted for testing so long as they have a Class Level of 4 or lower, and according to pantheonic rules there are multiple items available. The O5 Council alone decide if a Level 3 or higher artifact can be used, and while an agreement is very rare they have done this. Here are some artifacts approved for experimentation by the SCP Foundation
Dr Bright: "For God's sake the joke is dead!"
  • It isn't advised that any non-organic deity should test themselves in SCP-914, but so long as the O5 Council approves of it they will carry through with it. The possibility of robots being updated by SCP-914 is why it's among the most attractive items towards the GUAM, who were inevitably banned from any in-person tests even with the SCP Foundation's members watching them. Sigma and Ultron wish to create an ultimate battle body through the Clockwork's Fine setting, and along with SKYNET they wish to infect it with a virus to take full control. If SCP-914 is compromised in any way by their ilk, its object class is to be updated to Keter and a yet undisclosed means of containment will be used to minimize the damage until it can be cured.
  • It should always be remembered that while the Clockworks are not considered sentient by human measures, it has an attitude. One example of this was when Dr Hertz put a recording of songs he'd sung and written, he got "Learn to Sing", "Teach Yourself to Play Guitar", and "Songwriting for Dummies". Squidward once put two spare clarinets on 1:1 and Fine; what he got back was an anomalous music box that only plays ear-piercing screams, and the same clarinet with a restraining order against him. Whenever they put a picture of the aforementioned Sigma, Ultron ect through SCP-914 on Fine they usually get a middle finger, a line of obscenities, a middle finger made out of obscenities.
  • Despite being somewhat unreliable, people still like to tests weapons, technology, raw minerals and weapons from different houses in it. The Angry Video Game Nerd has been promoting video game tests, in large part to find something in the shitty games that suck ass. Here's his test log
  • Has produced pornographic imagery and texts involving "Clockwork-chan" entirely without prompting. On 1:1 setting. Yes, it came up with an anthropomorphic female version of itself and wrote/drew lewd fanfiction and fanart of itself. Zone-Tan got ahold of these lewds as a basis for her own porn video of SCP-914, then put it through Very Fine. The result was an anomalous video that caused anyone to watch it to suffer a lethal overdose of dopamine. The video was immediately taken down, but not before Slaanesh managed to get a copy. Dr Clef is notably immune to the video's effect and he blames Dr Bright for letting ZONE have access to 914's self-lewds.

[up][up][up] For the Factory, Dr. Fetus is a nature-destroying psycho who is capable of creating gigantic machines and scientific abominations who would admire it since he generally hates all life in general. The Grandmas would just show mild annoyance since in their universe, they work for a player who has thrown aside so many ethics and morals and on a multiversal scale, and all just for cookie production. And for SCP-914, The RED Team would want to use the SCP to get more weapons or more importantly, Very Fine unusual hats. And I think Beatrix would be permitted to put a slime port into 914 in Rough (probably slime material), Coarse (probably smaller plort pieces), or 1:1 (different plort type).

I have a restoration idea. What do you think?

  • Alakazam, God of Spoon Bending (House of Spiritual and Mental Powers, True Neutral)-a restoration. Among the very first Psychic type Pokemon. Alakazam has two spoons, and five in its Mega Evolution. It has psychic powers and can bend them. Its signature move, Kinesis, has the animation of spoon bending

Posting for feedback, as well as suggesting these ideas.

  • The Go-Getters Clubmembers  for Cliffhanger or Where It All Began
    • For the former trope, the partially released World's End Club for the Apple Arcade ended on a cliffhanger, with Pochi at his Darkest Hour before seeing an apparition of Yuki promise to sort things out, leaving Pochi to wonder who she is. For the latter trope, the final few stages of the game have the Go-Getters Club return to the underwater amusement park where they were forced to play the Game of Fate by Pielope, because Pochi discovers with the help of the Otherworlder that's where the HEAVEN facility holding MAIK's mainframe and Vanilla is at. The club discovers the entrance to the facility right behind the only locked door they couldn't get through the first time they were at the park.

Rem and Ram, Twin Goddesses of Adopted Servants
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rem_and_ram.png
Ram on the left, Rem on the right
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Their respective hairclips
  • Theme Music:
  • Alignment: Neutral Good for Rem, Lawful Good or Lawful Neutral for Ram
  • Portfolio: Adopted Maids, Dark and Troubled Past, Meido, Oni, Polar Opposite Twins, Theme Twin Naming, Peek A Bangs
  • Domains: Maids, Oni, Love, Power, Magic
  • Allies: Subaru Natsuki (Especially for Rem), Emilia, Puck, Casca, Naminé, Sakuya Izayoi, G36, Fiona Mayfield, Rom and Ram, Masters of Spinjitzu
  • Enemies: Szilard Quates, Rom, The Vacuous Spider, The Hårga, The Fifth Church, Los Iluminados, The Hag, Saira & Kaira, Baba Yaga
  • Conflicted Opinion: Momotaro
  • Wary of: The Oni, Gluttony
  • Rem and Ram are the twin servants of the Roswaal Mansion, taken in by Roswaal after the Witch Cult destroyed their hometown and murdered their parents. They are both Oni that were born with one horn, though Ram's horn was permeantly broken off and left her de-powered. While both twins were initially distrustful and snarky towards Subaru, Rem would eventually fall in love and become devoted to him after he saved her life and helped her overcome her cycle of self-loathing. Sadly, Rem's memories and name were eaten by the Archbishop of Gluttony, putting her into a coma and erasing her from the memories of everyone except Subaru. Rem eventually awakens from her coma, but is no longer able to remember Subaru.
  • Rem and Ram ended up summoned into the Pantheon by one of the gods in the Pantheon, though who it is unknown. The twins soon met their friends from the world, but since they were summoned as they currently are, relationships have been complicated and tense. Although Rem is awake, she still cannot remember anything from her past, and her lingering feelings for Subaru only confuse her. The Gods have been searching for a way to help restore Rem's memories, but all the attempts have only worked temporarily, so Rem spends more time as her post-amnesia self, with everyone else also temporarily remembering her. That said, the few moments Rem still has with Subaru are still precious to the latter, making him all the more determined to restore her.
  • Naminé was greatly sympathetic with Rem's condition, since she was once forced to tamper with Sora's memories, causing him to temporarily forget people and for the people to forget him in turn. Unfortunately, since Rem's memory loss does not work the same way as those affected by her powers, as well as the fact that Sora never forged a bond with her, Naminé is unable to do anything to help Rem. She could only provide Subaru support and aid him to the best of her ability. Naminé promises she will do everything she can to help Subaru restore Rem's memories, which Subaru is quite grateful for.
  • Casca sees a lot of similarities between herself and Rem, since they both fell in love with a man for who they are, but suffered from a terrible tragedy at the hands of a enemy that caused them to lose their memories. Both of the love interests have made it their goal to restore them to the people they once were, no matter how many hardships they have to endure. Casca and Rem became quick friends because of this, with Rem helping to console Casca and help her on the road to recovering from her trauma, and Casca in turn wanting to help find a true cure for Rem's condition.
  • The twins have met other maids in the Pantheon, namely Sakuya Izayoi, G36 and Fiona Mayfield. G36 and Fiona both became instant friends with Rem, both her normal self and her amnesiac self, the former becoming a Cool Big Sister figure despite an initial creepy impression, and the latter becoming someone who is willing to share her burdens with Rem. Sakuya on the other hand gets along with Ram the most since they both possess great loyalty to their master and tend to talk to each other about how they best serve them.
  • Their relationship with Momotaro is complex, since he did fight Oni who stole food from his village. Even though Rem and Ram are different from the Onis he fought, Momotaro is still not exactly on the best of terms with them, especially Ram when the latter reacted with hostility towards him. Both sides prefer to avoid each other ever since.
  • Both of the twins have recently encountered the Ao Oni and have learned to fear it after it started appearing out of nowhere when they least expect it. Its presence causes Rem to reawaken her powers and turn into a berserker once more, forcing Subaru to try and calm her down once again. Ever since, the twins have avoided the Ao Oni's mansion to avoid a repeat of this incident.
  • Rom and Ram, coincidentally or not, also happen to be polar opposite twins with pink and blue coloring. Rem and Ram respectively found themselves drawn to each girl respectively for their personality. Rom and Rem became instant friends with each other due to their reserved personalities, with Rom even going so far as to ship Rem with Subaru after seeing how much she loves him. Both Rams were so similar to each other that they quickly formed a kinship.
    • The twins have learned of Rom, The Vacuous Spider from Ram's encounter with it. They learned just how dangerous it is to attack the creature, considering how it induces insanity and blindness in their attackers. The two tread carefully whenever they enter it's realm, showing great caution whenever they come close to it and great fear when they end up getting attacked by it as a result of someone else provoking it.
  • The Masters of Spinjitzu were quite surprised to meet more Oni in the Pantheon, but they quickly saw that the twins weren't evil at all and were quite willing to be friends with them. While Ram is snarkier towards them (especially with Kai to the point of being Vitriolic Best Buds at best), Rem is polite and friendly towards them. The Ninja were horrified to learn of what happened to Rem and they promised to help Subaru with restoring her memories.
  • Because they lost their family to the Witch Cult, the twins are understandably apprehensive towards cults and evil witches. The Hårga, the Fifth Church, and Los Iluminados have earned their contempt for their actions as cults, with the latter two receiving the biggest amount of hatred from the twins for being Apocalypse Cults. Despite their modus operandi being quite different from the Witch Cult, Rem and Ram are willing to fight them to prevent them from achiveing their goals.
    • While they have made some exceptions, the twins aren't too fond of witches either, considering the Witch Cult and the Witches of Sin they worship. In particular, the Hag, Saira & Kaira, and Baba Yaga are seen as the biggest enemies of the twins due to their atrocities and sins. The Hag and Baba Yaga have earned Rem & Ram's disgust after learning of how they eat people (and in Baba Yaga's case, children), while Saira and Kaira have compared to the Witches of Sin due to the way they mess with the natural order.
  • Rem is terrified of Gluttony, due to the Homunculus reminding her Lye Batenkaitos, who not only also represents the deadly sin of Gluttony, but the way he opens his mouth reminds her of how the Archbisop of Gluttony ate her memories. Ram, even though she couldn't remember Rem, knew Lye as her enemy after he tried to use Rem's memories against her, provoking her into killing him. Seeing Gluttony scare Rem immediately invokes Big Sister Instincts in her as she attacks Gluttony the same way she attacked Lye, forcing the homunculus to retreat. They have been on-guard ever since.

Chip, God of Chocolate (Light Gaia)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chip_5.png
  • Greater God
  • Symbol: His necklace, a chocolate sundae, or Gaia Colossus
  • Theme Music: Dear my Friend
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Badass Adorable, Beware the Nice Ones, Big Eater, Really 700 Years Old, Ridiculously Cute Critter, Sweet Tooth, Nature Spirit, Pals with Jesus
  • Domains: Light, Rebirth, Day, Earth, Sweets
  • Allies: Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, Viridi, Gaia, SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Kirby, Fat Majin Buu, Shaggy and Scooby, Swamp Thing, Chrono's Party
  • Enemies: Dark Gaia, Dr. Eggman, Lavos
  • Chip was a mysterious creature Sonic came across after Eggman drained the power of the Chaos Emeralds to break apart the planet in order to awaken Dark Gaia, which also turned Sonic into a Werehog at night. The little guy had no memories to recall who he was, so Sonic would name him Chip after all the chocolate chips he liked to eat. Helping Sonic throughout their adventure to restore the Chaos Emeralds and put the planet back together, Chip would eventually remember that he is Light Gaia, whose role was to restore the world to normal after Dark Gaia destroyed it, but being prematurely awakened by Eggman caused him to lose his memories. Chip would help Sonic fight against Eggman and put a stop to Dark Gaia, sacrificing himself to return Sonic to the surface before returning to dormancy alongside his dark counterpart.
  • During a fight with Dark Gaia in the Pantheon, Sonic and his allies got quite the surprise when they saw the familiar Gaia Colossus come to fight Dark Gaia. Immediately recognizing Chip, Sonic would team up with him to force the dark entity to sleep once again, enjoying a cheerful reunion with his companion. Chip would explain that he was summoned by the Court of the Gods immediately when they had the chance to help them put a stop to Dark Gaia whenever it became a threat, and he now can stay active as long as he likes in the Pantheon. Chip would soon be integrated into Sonic's companions ever since.
  • Chip has an amiable relationship with Gaia, a fellow spirit of the earth. They tend to hold social visits with each other to discuss how they can make the world a better place for everyone, while also encouraging their heroes to fight on (Sonic and his friends for Chip, The Planeteers and Captain Planet for Gaia). Chip comes to see Gaia as a motherly figure as she helps to guide him in protecting his planet.
  • Chip is friendly with Viridi, but he frowns upon her hatred for humans and her extreme actions, seeing it as excessive. Viridi has hoped to persuade Chip into joining her team, but Chip has declined her offer, admitting that while he would like to be friends with her, he won't do so as long as Viridi still intends to wipe humans off the face of the Earth. Viridi hasn't given up though, and is still determined to show him that humans can't be trusted.
  • Has heard of how SpongeBob and Patrick sold chocolate bars and is all too willing to take a hundred or more from them. That being said, even Chip found it creepy to hear of how one customer kept chasing after the two for their chocolate, especially after the Mood Whiplash. SpongeBob and Patrick were at least grateful that Chip was a better patron than Tom was.
  • Gets along very well with Kirby and the Fat Majin Buu as fellow eating partners, with all three of them enjoying sweets. Because of this, they tend to hang out in the House of Food to eat more desserts, especially chocolate and ice cream. There tends to be little-to-no limits in how much they can eat all at once.
  • Chip has found kindred spirits in Scooby and Shaggy for their love of eating. The duo usually hangs out with him at almost every restaurant the Pantheon has, especially a place that serves sweets like an ice cream parlor. They also showed some fear towards monsters but are capable of showing courage. When confronted by a monster, Chip joins the chase through the Scooby-Dooby Doors. As a result, Chip has become an honorary member of Mystery Inc., and can be counted on as a friend and ally whenever he takes part in a mystery.
  • While initially nervous around Swamp Thing, Chip came to see him as a close friend after seeing him in action. Swamp Thing in turn saw Chip as a close friend and was quite honored to meet a spirit of the Earth, even though Chip is quite modest about it. As a result, the two as well as Buddy Baker/Animal Man came to join forces as they agreed to prevent the Rot from the entering the Pantheon.
  • Chip came to saw Lavos as a threat that was just as big as, if not worse than, Dark Gaia. Hearing of what Lavos can do immediately put Chip on high alert, especially since unlike with Dark Gaia where he can rebuild the planet, Lavos and its spawn will destroy everything until there is nothing left. Chip and Sonic are all too willing to team up with Chrono and his friends to stop the giant parasite from destroying everything in the Pantheon and spreading into other universes.

[up][up] Not a bad idea, though I think your reasoning needs to be longer and better-explained.

[up] [tup] for your profiles, though I'm refraining from your suggestion, so I'm waiting to see what others tend to think about it.

Fucking finally! Reposting Team Dai-Gurren after months of keeping them under limbo. They are now open for approval, though I do intend on adding a few stuff to them to add a sort of finishing touch on them. Anymore that can be added to them, or are they good to go?

  • In a future where humanity was put on the brink of extreme isolation and depopulation, a young boy named Simon used to live in an underground village harvesting ancient artifacts to make a living alongside his surrogate older brother, Kamina. Initially a dull life, they are, one day after excavating the remains of a pair of mecha known as the Gurren and the Lagann, interrupted by a mechanical being from above who attacked their village, and coming under attack from a girl named Yoko Littner. Simon and Kamina quickly took their opportunity to pilot Gurren and Lagann and defeat the being, alongside discovering a source of power known as the Spiral Energy. Together with Yoko, the three left the village on good terms and officially established Team Dai-Gurren, with the intent to explore the surface and embark on an epic journey to discover more about the Spiral Energy as well as fight against more of what the being came from, which was revealed to be part of a mutant race known as the Beastmen. Along their adventure, Simon, Kamina, and Yoko met and befriended several figures, such as Leeron, Kittan Bachika, and Rossiu Adai, who were eager to join along and fight with them, though Kamina was later killed in battle against the Beastman, Thymilph. Initially despondent and unsure of what to do, Simon stumbled across a lost princess, Nia Teppelin, who provided him the motivation to regain his confidence and continue the fight. Developing a rivalry with a Beastman, Viral, who has continuously fought back against them, Team Dai-Gurren would battle against the Beastmen, eventually coming across their leader, and Nia's father, Lordgenome, who engaged in a tough battle against Simon against the fate of Mankind on Earth. In the end, Simon prevailed in the grueling fight and defeated Lordgenome, finally allowing Mankind to step out of their shadows and thrive on the surface of the world for years to come...
    • Years later, with Simon having established a bustling community and being hailed as a hero, the world was suddenly under attack again when, with the birth of the millionth human, Kittan's niece via his oldest younger sister, Kiyoh, a hive of mechas controlled by the mysterious Anti-Spiral decided to lay siege upon Earth, intending to enforce severe population control in a deluded attempt to halt the increase of Spiral Energy and keeping the Spiral Nemesis at bay. His arrival also caused Nia to be subjugated to its control, forcing Simon into a dire situation, especially when Rossiu decides to enact on his own suggestions, even taking advice from Lordgenome to make heavy sacrifices and, when his burdens are too much to bear, contemplates suicide. However, Simon snapped Rossiu out of his grief and rallies up his friends to make a valiant stand against the Anti-Spiral, bringing back Nia and even allying with Lordgenome to combat the Anti-Spiral itself. The battle was won by Simon and his comrades with the Anti-Spiral entrusting the victor to keep in check of the Spiral Energy and be prepared for the Spiral Nemesis, though, at the cost of many of his trusted ones, including Kittan, and with her own life tethered to the Anti-Spiral's being, Nia dies shortly after marrying Simon. After years of hardships, Team Dai-Gurren were able to earn themselves a well-established community and a belief of hope for years to come, with Simon giving up his Core Drill to a fellow fighter and friend, Gimmy.
  • With Simon having and his remaining friends having made their story, they were content in looking after the next generation and settling down to either relax or to inspire others into taking arms for what they believe in. That is until an unexpected visitation came in the form of Kamina himself when he confronted the older Simon. Initially confused, Simon asked what was going on, with his older brother explaining that sometime after defeating the Anti-Spiral, Kamina got to experience a whole new world known as the Trope Pantheons and gushed about just how awesome and cool it was to meet with beings who were just as stylish and badass as they could be. It later went on into a conversation regarding the overall coolness of the Pantheon until Kamina revealed that despite it all, there's a series of great threats looming over the new world and, if left unchecked, could potentially start invading and destroying theirs. Simon expressed worry and concern, but what really motivated him was learning about the Anti-Spiral's presence in the Pantheon, which gave him all the motivation he needed to consider entering the Pantheon. Getting into contact with his friends, Simon and Team Dai-Gurren quickly banded back together to make their grand entrance in the Pantheon.
    • To the group's delight, Kamina wasn't the sole individual among the deceased who made his way into the Pantheon. They were quickly able to reunite with Kittan, who has proud to see that he made some kind of difference to his group as well as seeing that his sisters were leading a happy life. He took this as a sign that he was better than before and that the Pantheon has been allowing him to not just motivate him to be a more capable warrior like Simon and Kamina are, but to also make sure that his loved ones are safe and inspired by him. And lastly, Simon was nearly unresponsive to discovering Nia alive again after so long and his friends have had to push him into having a heartfelt reunion with one another. With this said and done, Simon and Nia were quick to profess their love and affection for one another and declare themselves husband and wife again, this time with the added effect of getting a lot of individuals in the Pantheon, Kamina included, to be attending and congratulating him. With the band wholly united for once, Team Dai-Gurren were eager to establish their reputation and camaraderie in the Pantheon, something that the Anti-Spiral has since noticed and has kept himself prepared for the occasion they were to battle again.
  • What makes Team Dai-Gurren famous in the Pantheon is simply two things; badassery, which the group has consistently demonstrated by escalating their determination and action to a point where their scale becomes simply incomprehensible to take account into, and making several of the perceived most badass individuals in the Pantheon either wince in excitement, respect, or glee for multiple reasons. The other is being a beacon of hope, which stems from the fact that the group, at least under Simon's leadership via Kamina's wishes and Nia's encouragement, were able to provide Humanity a sense of relief and positive expectations freely for the first time in a thousand years. These two qualities have been key to making Team Dai-Gurren among the most celebrated groups in the Pantheon, something which Kamina gushes upon with utmost pride, proud to see that Simon not only successfully carried out his legacy, but also surpassed him both as a mentor, as a leader, and as a pilot.
  • Their reputation was such that they were quickly considered for recruitment by the Grand United Alliance of Good via the Robot War Division's Third Battlegroup. While they possess some of the craziest, most powerful assets any mecha is capable of possessing, Simon and Kamina mainly serve as group morale mediators to all of the Robot War Division's Battlegroup and the rest of the Pantheon's heroic community while Rossiu, being the most logical and pragmatic of the group, being opted to serve as a logistics overseer and mecha analyzer for much of the Battlegroup's robotic stockpile. Of course, Team Dai-Gurren accepted the offer as they're well aware that with the Anti-Spiral now willing to increase its own armada and strength per the Pantheon's nature, their own presence and hope is now more necessary for the Pantheon than it is on their own world, which has been quite a burden for the group to bear.
  • Given the Pantheon's nature, Team Dai-Gurren would inevitably come across many figures who have piloted mechas much like them, though it was their tendency to surpass limits and provide optimism where they really distinguished themselves from the others. One notable example came from Ryoma Nagare, who also possessed a streak of impulsiveness and steadfast determination in fighting for what he believed in, though, unlike Simon and Kamina, his hot-bloodedness was more on the lines of rendering him into a raging berserker on the battlefield. He was amused to discover just how much he paralleled with Team Dai-Gurren regarding their quirks, similarities, and differences, though now that they're in a realm where greater threats mean alliances, he's had to be quick in forging a partnership with Team Dai-Gurren. He appreciates their optimistic enthusiasm, though is nature as a berserker can make some members like Leeron wince at just how much destruction he creates on the battlefield. As his partner, Hayato Jin explains...
Hayato Jin: "Looks like the only ones who can pilot Getter Robo are either superior pilots… or insane!"
    • On a lighter note, other mecha pilots like Kouji Kabuto, Tetsuya Tsurugi, Sayaka Yumi, and Jun Hono, were a lot more level-headed than Ryoma is, whilst still possessing a hot-blooded streak, much like most members of Team Dai-Gurren. Given their nature of wanting to protect the world from grand threats, they had a mutual goal and they got along very easily, with Kouji and Tetsuya expressing admiration and even a light bit of inspiration from Team Dai-Gurren's exploits, hoping that they could learn from those experiences and make an effort to better their own mechas. Sayaka and Jun also quickly got along with Simon and Nia, given their similar story of finding a love interest and getting married throughout the whole event of giant robot battles, though they expressed condolences towards Nia for passing away shortly after getting married as well as Yoko for having to lose both of her love interests only shortly after those were confessed.
    • The Gundams were a more complex matter, in that whilst most of the mechas from other realms were mainly centered around battles and attempts to save one's own world's, those in the Gundam, universe, in addition to the above, also had to deal with personal and political matters that made challenges for them more difficult. Of all the members in Team Dai-Gurren, Rossiu was the only one who could communicate well enough in a logistical and political fashion to make arrangements and negotiations regarding how Gundams can be managed as well as looked after in some way or another. While they were able to get along with Amuro Ray, Heero Yui, and Kira Yamato due to their fair share of heroic actions and reputation, the likes of Muruta Azrael and the Zabi Family were very quickly assumed to be enemies due to their militant and self-superiority-driven acts of destruction and control they seeked to perpetuate. Simon instantly disliked Muruta for being the worst kind of petty regarding his motivations and has stated that he won't live another day if he ever gets to touch Nia, and even Kamina drops any pretense of being over-the-top from confronting them. As for the Zabi family, much of Team Dai-Gurren's animosity is directed towards Gihren as he was more than willing to commit mass destruction by deploying colonies on populated settlements as a way to inspire terror, whilst taking compliments from being compared to Nazism. Mineva, on the other hand, has been an exception, and she ended up generally liking and working with Team Dai-Gurren on several occasions when it comes to political efforts and mecha fights.
  • Simon and his group weren't the only figures who were large aspirations of hope. A little into their time in the Pantheon, Simon had met Madoka Kaname after hearing about her tales in her mortal life and well as her reputation of being the most beloved goddess in the Pantheon no thanks to her sense of compassion and desire to grant happiness towards everyone and not just those she saw as friends and family. The two, much to their surprise, managed to strike a very close friendship with each other as they recognized that they had to deal with a lot of burden and self-esteem issues before becoming grand symbols of hope and combating against a grave threat to the cosmos. It endeared the two to learn that they could learn from each other in some ways, given that Simon was inspired by Madoka's selfless desire to save all magical girls from their fate of becoming witches. That said, Madoka's status as a literal hope goddess meant that she and Simon couldn't spend much time together, which he understood as he himself had a lot of responsibilities to hold up on as well.
    • Then came a drastic turn of events, which were perpetrated by Lucifer via enticing and promising Madoka's dear friend, Homura Akemi of a way to save Madoka from further despair, which played a huge role in sapping away much of Madoka's power and influence and rendering her back into a normal human. This came as a massive shock to Team Dai-Gurren as they didn't expect a large alignment schism to occur too soon, and with Madoka's depowerment, much of the Pantheon became pessimistic and distrustful with the GUAG due to their poor performance and communication, which also saw it's Magical Girl Sisterhood Division split off to form its own organization Since then, Simon took it upon himself to visit Madoka and keep her spirits up, learning that she suffers from self-esteem despite doing the best she could to remain optimistic. And regarding Homura, Simon does understand her situation and why she did what she had to do, but that doesn't mean he would condone her actions as it meant putting the Pantheon at risk. Their reactions to Madoka regaining part of her powers also had a contrasting reaction as Homura was not happy and felt that this would put Madoka in danger while Simon was happy and proud to see that his friend was able to fight back and potentially help to inspire others again.
  • Having dealt with extreme oppression due to the acts of Lordgenome and The Anti-Spiral, Team Dai-Gurren has made further enemies with similar beings who promoted that theme above all else. One of those was the government of Big Brother, seeing as they have outlawed any sense of strong emotions, feelings, and attachments and wanted to ensure that everything was under authoritative control, regardless if it meant that others had to mentally and emotionally suffer for it. Naturally, Team Dai-Gurren, Nia included, was infuriated to learn of Big Brother's system and have vowed to dismantle it by any means necessary. However, they were in for a rude awakening, for Big Brother had anticipated Team Dai-Gurren's opposition and had made preparations in opposing them back via finding ways to neutralize and disable the gathering of Spiral Energy. They intend to dismantle their mechas as a means to eliminate further threats and, upon defeating and killing them, also erase records of Team Dai-Gurren's existence, ensuring that no one will know of their existence, much less looking up to them for aspiration.
  • After The Anti-Spiral himself, Team Dai-Gurren found their biggest Pantheonic enemy in the New God, Darkseid. Seeing as the group's main power source and motivation stemmed from the belief in hope and never giving up, the Lord of Apokolips envisioned his ultimate goal in enslaving all of existence into a hellish domain full of death, misery, and hopelessness, and in a sense, Darkseid was the absolute antithesis of the Spiral Energy. On top of that, the fact that The Anti-Spiral was actually willing to align himself with the Lord of Tyranny and be a key leading figure in his Harbingers Of Repression meant that Team Dai-Gurren couldn't ignore him one bit, and have since dedicated himself to stopping Darkseid at all costs. Strangely, Darkseid himself not only registers Team Dai-Gurren as a notable threat but also sees Simon and Kamina as worthy adversaries and would much rather want to corrupt and enslave them into his services, feeling that their Gurren Lagann mecha would prove a useful asset in his quest to dominate all of the Pantheon. Darkseid, however, takes Nia more seriously than most of her enemies, noting her nature as a team mediator and seeks to silence and enslave her first in an effort to make things easier for him. It doesn't matter if he angers Simon, Darkseid is willing to take the challenge of fighting against some of the most badass beings in the Pantheon if it means he can further assert his dominance and nature as the God of Tyranny.
  • Their reputation attracted the attention of the Lantern Corps, intergalactic organizations that were powered by special rings via specific emotions and using one's imagination to create constructs, replicas, and matters of energy for various uses. Of course, the two that immediately gained Team Dai-Gurren's respect were the Green and Blue Lanterns. The Green Lanterns represented Willpower and each and every member has displayed the capability to display a great deal of that via their determination and the enormous amount of Spiral Energy they amass in their fights. Hal Jordan and John Stewart were glad and willing to lend the group spare Green Lantern rings in case they have their me has missing or destroyed, a sentiment which the team agreed on, with Kamina, in particular, gushing about the capabilities of being a Green Lantern and Kittan finding a common ground with Guy Gardner for being overly boisterous Leader Wannabes who could still prove their valor by a ton. As for the Blue Lanterns, Saint Bro'dee Walker commends Team Dai-Gurren for their nature to inspire and advocate for Hope, which is what energizes a Blue Lantern Ring. He personally selected Nia as a potential candidate for wielding a Blue Lantern Ring in the future, stating that she will be among the many needed for a selection of new recruits during s time when a great evil will emerge to threaten the Pantheon's existence. Nia accepted Saint Walker's terms and has since possessed a Blue Lantern Ring since, though she's kept herself from using it unless either a dire situation occurs, or the events of what Saint Walker stated have occurred. Either way, she's seen as a paragon for the Blue Lanterns and Nia remains on great terms with them.
    • Among the other Lantern Corps, Team Dai-Gurren was at unease when encountered by the Red Lantern and Sinestro Corps, who were noted to have been far more ruthless and uncompromising than others of their kind. Thaal Sinestro commended Simon for his efforts in stopping The Anti-Spiral and he even admitted his own opposition against them as The Anti-Spiral was eerily reminiscent of the Manhunters that hounded the galaxy destroying planets and civilizations out of a deliberate malfunction that made them desire order in lethal fashion, whereas Atrocitus, in addition to being allies with Lordgenome, felt that with the loss that they've endured, some of the members, particularly Simon, would be capable of wielding a Red Lantern Ring, though it turned out the Blue and Green Lanterns were ultimately more suitable for them, as well as comparing The Anti-Spiral to the actions committed by Krona. The three of them came to form a difficult partnership, as Team Dai-Gurren can't fully bring it upon themselves to trust either Sinestro and Atrocitus de to their fair share of unsavory actions committed in their goals of a peaceful order and righteous vengeance respectively. That said, the two Lantern Corps leaders maintain some degree of respect for the team and are aware that they would be necessary for an alliance when it comes to dealing with threats that can potentially destroy the Pantheon.
  • Their stories can be seen as a more hopeful and optimistic parallel compared to the EVA Children, consisting of Shinji Ikari, Rei Ayanami, Asuka Langley-Soryu, and Kaworu Nagisa, as all four of them were teens that were forcefully drafted into piloting giant mechas known as Evangelions to fight against a collective of abstract monsters known as Angels to defend civilization, which later led to a series of events regarding psychological breakdowns and unnerving revelations that drove the four teens into melancholy and despair as their fight to save Humanity only became more intense. Their tale saddened Team Dai-Gurren, but it didn't stop them from approaching and befriending them and telling them that what they did was brave and admirable, considering the circumstances they went through. They, in turn, thanked Team Dai-Gurren for their hospitality and came to see them as good friends, in spite of their differentiating mindsets. Oddly enough, they spend more time trying to hang out, with Team Dai-Gurren aiming to help the teens out emotionally and mentally, though times, where the two have fought against mutual threats together, have occurred from time to time.
  • Their knack of using mechas caught the interest of the Transformers, and Team Dai-Gurren's pursuit of hope and determination won them a great deal of appreciation from the Autobot leader, Optimus Prime, as well as fellow ascended Autobots, Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Arcee. Given that they themselves have defended Earth and the cosmos for a very long time, their relationship has been neutral and Kamina often squees about Optimus and his organization, wishing that the Gurren Lagann itself was sentient. The Dinobots, on the other hand, were a lot more complicated, given that they were more motivated by who was the strongest, and generally don't care about hope. They did, however, respect Simon, Kamina, and their friends for their strength and fighting against Lordgenome and The Anti-Spiral, whom they see as bullies, though their violent tendencies make working with them difficult. Of course, Megatron and his ascended Decepticon followers were quick to learn and register Team Dai-Gurren as potential threats the moment they and the Autobots became friends. While Megatron has consistently proven himself to be a powerful foe for Team Dai-Gurren and has fought several times, the biggest threat to Simon and his group regarding Transformers is the Omnicidal Planet Eater, Unicron, who only desires to devour planets until there is none left, and Unicron himself is hellbent on destroying Team Dai-Gurren as he knows that the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann would be a considerable threat to his existence and that he feels a need to snuff out whatever hope and Spiral Energy he can come across.
  • Nia was initially a guardian representative in the House of Friendship and Camaraderie, serving as one-third of The Friendship Trio. While she's since lost her position due to deciding to fully commit herself to helping out her husband and their fellow friends, she still maintains a great deal of authority and respect in her former house. Being a sweet, compassionate, and understanding girl helped Nia's popularity greatly and she's made a concentrated effort in not just keeping up with that reputation, but also making the most out of helping and inspiring others, much like Simon did. She made fellow friends with the pony, Fluttershy, given their very similar characteristics and the two serve as the moral center of their companies. Speaking of, Nia also got to learn about and become well-acquainted with the Mane Six, whom champion and represent friendship via their Cutie Marks, and see Nia as a fellow relatable figure whom they could always count on. Given her own position as a princess, Nia also found common ground with Starfire, an extraterrestrial humanoid who was also the princess of Tamara, but circumstances regarding her rivalry with her sister, Blackfire, and being seen as an exile forced Starfire to come to Earth and become a hero in her own right. Given their similar events of being castaways, Nia and Starfire can understand each other better than many and they've come to try helping each other out on a lot of occasions, alongside them seeing each other as a good friend in need.
  • Upon meeting each other again, Kamina was amused to discover that Kittan had a romantic affection for Yoko later on in his mortal life, and the two decided to squabble in a friendly rivalry over it, though they've made it a point to always look out for and fight alongside Yoko, no matter what. On a professional note, Yoko acts as a teacher and sometimes visits the House of School to provide as a substitute, though her headstrong and caring nature has led her to becoming quite popular in her own right. That's not to say some see Yoko as quite attractive there as well, but knowing that Kamina and Kittan have an affection for her, chances are that no one's going to try hit on her, not to mention Yoko herself is a skilled user of sniper rifles, though she declines having to use her combat skills in jobs like paid assassination for understandable reasons. On a similar note, Kittan, for all of his abrasive attitude, has a fondness for kids and sometimes stops by the House of Childhood and Adolescence so that he can provide the residents there with some kind of aspiration and glee upon seeing a giant robot that they could see as cool. The fact that kids like Kittan back has helped, alongside him trying his best to be of company with his niece from his sister, Kiyoh.
  • Being part-man and part-shark, Viral's nature as a Beastman makes him naturally inclined to pay a visit to the Hall of Anthropomorphic Animals, though whenever he's actually there, he tends to have various sorts of mixed feelings. He can generally find himself comfortable there and even help out it's residents from time-to-time, but he also feels angsty in the sense that above all, his biggest desire is to start a family, but his Beastman physiology means that he can never really reach those desires and even if he managed to accomplish it, his immortality means that he would eventually outlast his family. He doesn't like to be pitied by the House of Family and Relatives either and usually tends to keep this information to himself. Speaking of, Viral feels rather nervous on visiting that particular House as well, for obvious reasons, though that doesn't mean he means any ill intent, if anything, Viral will defend the House of Family and Relatives if he feels it's in danger. On a more personal note, while his type of Beastmen were villainous and were focused on subjugation, the likes of Khazrak and Gorthor creeped him put, mainly because all they desired was destruction and carnage out of an intense misanthropic hate towards mankind. Viral quickly came to battle against those two Beastmen and was appalled to see just how much damage they were willing to cause, deciding that it's best that they are killed off quickly. Gorthor simply sees Viral as another pest to destroy, whereas Khazrak sees him as a Worthy Opponent worth matching wits against, sentiments which Viral did not reciprocate.

Umm... the Lobotomy Corporation profile is ready, but where do I put them? Which House does the trope Mainlining the Monster best fit in?

No-Thumbs Mode

Second draft, I think?

Besides Sasuke Uchiha, Tony Stark, and Spider-Woman(?), Who else has had villains hidden in their family? And who has ever unknowingly raised a(n amnesiac) villain?

Razputin Aquato, Divine Explorer of Minds (Raz, Goggolor, Eggbeater, D'artagnan, Pootie, Pooter)

  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Goro Akechi
  • Rivals: the Inception crew
  • Enemies: Professor Ludwig Von Tökkentäkker, Arael, Psycho Mantis, Sosuke Aizen, Giygas, Mother Brain, The Brainspawn, Dr. Zomboss, Dr. Neo Cortex, Dr. Gero, Denzel Crocker, Needles Kane, Circus Baby
  • Opposed by: Most members of the House of Madness and Insanity
  • Afraid of: Most deities that live underwater. The whole House of Water and Moisture while we're at it. Not so much anymore
  • While searching for candidates for Journey to the Center of the Mind, the Court decided that, while waiting for the sequel, they would bring up the Psychonaut cadet Razputin Aquato to the Pantheon for his achievements at Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp. For his part, Raz is curious to see what the Pantheon has to offer.
    • Eventually, he had to go "back" once his story was ready. Once everything there was over and done with, Raz returned to the Pantheon, better than ever, as a full-fledged (Junior) Psychonaut.
  • Raz does his work by using a Psycho-Portal that puts Raz and whoever he uses the portal on into a trance while he does what he does inside the target's mind. Due to built-in blocks, he cannot use the Psycho-Portal on anybody younger than 18 years old. It's also blocked by shower heads (and maybe other head-covering implements), those with "mental blocks" set against invasive psychic devices, and those who can remove the Psycho-Portal with their own powers.
  • As someone gifted with psychic powers, Raz was quick to make friends with Jean Grey, J'onn, Ness, Lucas, and most Psychics from the Pokémon world, both 'Mons and humans alike (though he was slower to warm up to Sabrina, given the different versions of her)
  • Having had a terrible past in the circus (at least that's how he rememebered it at first), Raz opposes the likes of Tökkentäkker, Needles Kane, and Circus Baby.
  • Due to his Gypsy Curse, Raz stays away from all bodies of water that he can be immersed in, and therefore all deities who live beneath it. How bad is the gypsy curse on him? Even figurative depictions of water (such as cardboard waves) can hurt him. Also, when ever Raz enters water deeper than a few inches, a supernatural liquid hand called the Hand of Galochio attempts to grab him and pull him beneath the surface. Whether Raz has created a psychic placebo (i.e. his fears make the hand come to life), or there really is an external curse is still being determined. And if it is the latter, there are those wondering if that curse would go away if he gets killed at least once in the Pantheon. When that happened (his first death on the Pantheon), it's implied to be the former
    • As it turns out, it's actually sort of both, for the Hand of Galochio was created by Ford Cruller as a result of him implanting a strong fear of water in Lucrecia Mux/Maligula/Nona Aquato's mind to stop her from reawakening her hydrokinesis. This fear had then been passed to Augustus, and from him to all the Aquato children, including Raz. Once it was understood that there is no curse, the Hand is no longer hostile, Raz is able to tread water safely with the Hand's help, and it will even rescue him if he thinks he's in danger from drowning by pulling him to someplace dry. Given his great-aunt was actually Maligula, it's likely that he has inherent hydrokinetic potential as well.
  • As someone who can change the opinions of people just by going into their heads, so to speak, he's drawn the attention of the Inception crew and the Phantom Thieves of Hearts.
    • He has more cordial relations with the latter, especially with Futaba Sakura, whose initial situation needed a change of heart from inside just like with some of the folks Raz helped. As long as he promises to follow their lead and not kill main Palace Shadows, he can join the crew in their Heists there. Unfortunately, the reverse cannot ocurr, as the Psycho-Portal only works between target and Psychonaut, and it's not known what might happen if he and the Phantoms target the same person with their separate methods and what effects there can be on the Mental Worlds Raz travels to and the Metaverse the Phantoms navigate in.
    • At least, that was how it worked at first. After a couple of cooperative missions where they end up investigating the same target, holes in the Palaces have been sighted that lead into places different yet similar to them. And then when Raz was sighted there, it's turns out that there is a way to enter Mental Worlds after all; through these holes. However, it's not known what would happen to the Phantoms if they're still in these worlds if Raz ends up leaving (either by way of Smelling Salts (which merely instantly awaken its user from sleep in the case of the Phantoms), his projection getting "killed", or otherwise being forced out), so caution is advised.
    • As of his second adventure, he came back to meet the new additions Violet, SOPHIE, and Wolf, and was amused to see an officer as part of the crew, given that the Psychonauts in part do what the Phantoms do, but as an official organization. He's also since become a lot more cautious when it comes to meddling with minds, ever since the disaster with Agent Forsythe Hollins when his attempt to turn her from a safety-freak into someone more tolerant of sending him and his fellow interns to a mission turned her into a gambling addict. He managed to fix that, but still got a scolding for it and he realized his mistake.
      • When he inquired with the Phantoms about that, given their own modus operandi, he was given a talk on the targets they changed the hearts of; all of them were despicable folks who have a lot of people suffering under their heels, and we're untouchable by the law in some form or other. There was literally no one who could/would stop them save the Phantom Thieves. This left Raz at odds with himself since technically speaking their agenda run at odds with Psychonauts rules and the responsibility that comes with their powers.
      • Because of that, Raz loathes Akechi for his acts of murder in the Metaverse, cursing the fact that he's only 17, thus preventing Raz from using the Psycho-Portal on him. He only tolerates the detective because Ren vouches for him and because Akechi's past was full of messed up stuff.
      • In regards to Prince Gristol, Ren stated that he was the kind of scum the Phantoms would go after. But they won't not only out of respect to Raz, but because he's already technically apprehended by the law in the end.
      • As for Dr. Takuto Maruki, Raz has made his opposition on the ex-psychologist's former plans for his ideal world clear. Maruki knows there are parties interested in awakening that side of him that wants to pursue that ideal and has offered Raz access to his mind so as to help prevent that from happening again (plus helping the Psychonaut understand him more). And because of what Maruki has done, Raz is particularly sympathetic towards Sumire since her mind was altered by him, even if it did stave her off from depression and inevitable suicide before Ren came to her life and mended her for real.
  • Having had terrible experiences with them, he doesn't like mad doctors and other folks who mess with minds. Particulars he don't like are Dr. Zomboss (who wishes to eat brains, and so do his brethren) and Arael (whose modus operandi is Mind Rape, especially after hearing what it did to Asuka).
  • Alice swore she once saw his skeleton in (Dark) Wonderland. Raz has no plans on visiting Wonderland anytime soon as a result and hopes that wasn't him in the future.

  • Respects: Draco Malfoy
  • Conflicting Opinion: Albus Dumbledore
  • Teachers are supposed to help their students be prepared for the real world after graduation. Some of them take the extra mile and help their students with all sorts of social issues. No degree of psychology actually required, that's what defines a Psychologist Teacher.
  • Kumiko Yamaguchi, fresh out of university, applied for a job as a teacher in Shirokin High School, an all-boys school renowned for being full of delinquents. She was put in charge of the worst class in the school — class 2-D, but despite their rowdiness, she was more than equipped enough to handle any trouble a bunch of snot-nosed kids can cause, given that she's an heriess to a Yakuza clannote , which she keeps secret (though she and the whole clan weren't that good at keeping secrets) due to schools being intolerant of gangs and people of dangerous backgrounds though the principal turns out to have hired her specifically due to her background, and the entire school eventually finds out near the end, but preferred to keep her either way. Throughout the rest of the series, Kumiko wins over her originally mistrustful students and improves their lives for the better, both through talking things out with them and a helpful dose of the Yakuza code.
  • Kumiko's reason for being a teacher is because of back when her younger adopted siblings were allowed to graduate as long as they don't attend the graduation ceremony. After realizing that schools have been forgetting the real value of students and throwing out those who don't abide by the group rule, she decided she would help those impoverished students.
  • It was the end of another day at Shirokin teaching delinquents when she arrives home, only to see a mysterious person with a letter of recommendation to a place called Elysium Academy. They told her to read it in private before she makes any decisions. One private read later, she found the offer acceptable and eventually earned a spot in the Pantheon.
  • Just to get things out of the way, her Yakuza background is now made known from the start, given how poorly she and her clan are at keeping secrets, even if she might try to pass it off as being a fan of Yakuza media. And because the students for the most part are far smarter than Shirokin's (not that that's hard), and some of the idiots might not even notice any facade she might try to pull off, it would be disrespectful to assume they're fools. That said, they're not that ciritcal of her background, or at least it's not grounds for beings fired.
  • Thanks to her background and experience with delinquents, she has no problem disciplining them when they get too rampant. She's heard that The Tōhōshinki and Tatsumi Oga are from schools filled with them, just like Shirokin High. Thankfully, they've progressively mellowed out. There's also the case of Kenji Kazama, though given the zaniness of the rest of his school, he at least has an excuse for shouting indoors so many times, and he's still a decent student otherwise.
  • As a teacher who helps with her students' issues, she's gotten along with others who do the same, such as Eikichi Onizuka, Charles Xavier, Gentaro Kisaragi (who himself was a delinquent in his school days, though it's more from much of the elitism of the alumni than anything), and Byleth Eisner (though the whole could-be-either-gender thing was weird).
    • As for Albus Dumbledore however, especially in light of his big plans for Harry and others throughout his years and his past with Grindelward, she's a bit more conflicted in her opinions of him.
    • Koro-sensei is another teacher that has helped his students both academically and personally, and gets along wth him despite his reputation for being an alien and being pervy, not to mention teaching how to assassinate.
  • Having heard of him through other psycologists, and seeing how badly he looks in Elysium Academy classes, Kumiko has a special interest in helping Shinji Ikari and his fellow EVA pilots. Naturally, because of his mistreatment of the boy, she opposes Gendo Ikari, and she doesn't think too highly of Yui Ikari either for her part in manipulating the boy as well.
  • And of course, there are the nasty teachers, such as Trunchbull (and they get into fights more than once since Agatha has a hatred for twintails, which is how Kumiko wears her hair as a teacher), and Fletcher (for his abusive methods, even if they bear exceptional fruit when it works).
  • As a Yakuza heiress, she can get antsy when it comes to law enforcement. But given her reputation in the mortal realm, she's at a truce with most of them. Of course, there are still the occasional zealot who care not for her non-evil stance, such as Inspector Javert and his allies, who try to arrest her on sight whenever they get the chance.
    • On the other hand, she's had a better encounter with fellow Yakuza deity Kazuma Kiryu after undertaking a rescue mission for one of her students. The Dragon of Dojima had been in the area, and made swift work of the fools that dared get into their crosshairs. They became fast friends after that, him sensing her good heart. (add encounter with Goro Majima?)
    • And then there was Tatsu Yamashiro/Katana, who has a vendetta against ALL people in the Yakuza due to having lost her family to them. After hearing about her from Kiryu, who fended off the vigilante with difficulty one time they crossed paths, Kumiko knew that reasoning with Katana was most definitely out of the question for the time being.
  • There was a short time where she used to moonlight as a vigilante called Mr. X, but has since ceased that activity, prefering to instead help as either a teacher or as a Yakuza heiress. So there's no chance she's going to be confused for another Mr. X (or his daughter Miss Y) anytime soon.
  • When it comes to beating up threats to her students, she's even taken out a demon once. And with so many other supernatural stuff in the Pantheon, there are dangers aplenty of all kinds, so she'll have to pick her battles.
  • With all the jumping and kicking she does, she prefers to not wear skirts due to running the risk of doing a Panty Shot, though she will if she has to. Someone suggested she get some Modesty Shorts for such situations.
  • Got entangled with some of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts after seeing Ryuji, Makoto, and Haru going up against a tough-ish monster and giving them the initiative via a Dynamic Entry flying kick. Once the threat was subdued and taken away, she was formally introduced to the group and what they did, and she turned out to be fully supportive of their cause. After hearing of their backstory, she stated that things would've been very different had she been at Shujin High. On the other hand, given her background, it's unlikely she would've been applicable as a teacher there anyway due to Kobayakawa not wanting someone in the yakuza as a teacher, even if he's part of the same conspiracy that had Kaneshiro in its payroll.
  • Dislikes restrictive parents who think they can do whatever they please to their children, given Shin suffered that treatment under his father (before they and Kumiko eventually came to an understanding).
  • Opposes children who abuse the power of their parents' influence (particularly authority over use of gangs) to do whatever they please, as well as parents who don't rein them in. Kumiko used to be bullied due to her background, but she never used her clan's name or asked them for help, because she believes it won't foster respect and loyalty.
    • She holds great disdain for Lucius Malfoy because of this, while respecting his son Draco for moving away from that line of thinking.
  • Is enemies with the Death Busters, as they are aliens who used a School for Scheming (founded by their Mad Scientist, Professor Souichi Tomoe/Germatoid) as a front while they worked to summon their boss Pharaoh 90 and awaken Mistress Nine. On top of their omnicidal ambitions, she isn't happy that said school is in the Pantheon as their temple.

@E-M: Thanks.

After 10,000 years of 50-ish-day loops, plus 50 more days, Lobotomy Corporation is now open for business in the Pantheon.

Say, I noticed something about the Thieves Hall; despite its description, the residing deities there are for the most part heroic (Phantom Thieves, Robin Hood, Sly Cooper, Kasumi Goto), with only Seth Briars and maybe Black Cat being the worst of them.

  • There was a boy who lived the Destiny Island, all he wanted to do was explore the greater world with his friends at tow. That boy would eventually find himself at a much grander adventure than he could have ever dreamed, for the fate of all Worlds against the forces of Darkness. That boy was Sora, and with his Keyblade and companions at hand, he would stop whatever threats are out there. Sora was told that he should not meddle but he could not help himself. It comes as no surprise that Sora within the Pantheon is one of the more prominent and notorious members out there. All of the villains Sora faces completely wet themselves once they find out he was in the Pantheon, especially once people consider that [[Sora beat up]] the God of Evil because said god was in the way. Melkor who usually saw heroes are annoyances saw Sora as a boogieman. Sora would have potentially become one of the strongest heroes across the Pantheon if it were not for the constant Reset Button of his powers. All Sora's equipment and abilities vanish due to a variety of reasons. Sora once entered a memory-erasing castle, he almost got possessed by a scary pointy-ear person and may have whatever he built up gone due to vanishing from existence. Sora finds some weird ways to start back from one. However, this loss of power may be helpful for Sora instead of impeding him as he develops new skills along the way instead of relying on old tricks he has. This skill to adapt to whatever situation he is in can be seen as Sora's greatest strength aside from the strength of his bonds with others.
  • Needless to say, Sora has satisfaction knowing that most of his friends are in the Pantheon. There his Childhood Friends Riku and Kairi who Sora has his ups and downs a lot. There are his consistent traveling companions, Donald Duck and Goofy alongside their king, Mickey Mouse. Do not forget those friends back at Hollow Bastion even if Sora's starting to see them less and less. Yen Sid is also a welcome addition, considering the wizard is a retired Keyblade Master. Ventus, Aqua, and Terra have odd interactions with Sora, he considers them close friends no matter how little interaction he has with them—their hearts connect after all with the former case being extremely literal for moreover a decade. Then there are those who take after Sora's identity, being Roxas and Xion. Although Roxas is what makes him complete, Sora wants Roxas to live life as an actual person. Xion also gives Sora the same sentiment even though Sora's main emotions towards her come from feelings from Roxas. There is also Namine whom Sora forgot about due to her memory tampering, but considering she is Kairi's Nobody he has an obligation to protect her. Overall, those are MOST of the friends that Sora feels he will be regularly interacting a lot with.
Sora: Oh yeah, I forgot about Axel!
    Lea: It's Lea!
  • A plethora of people Sora met across his travels are in the Pantheon, including most if not all of the Princesses of Heart he came across in his adventures. Sora has been renown for his upbeat personality that grants him many friends across many different worlds. As long as you do not mess with him or are doing anything evil in front of him, Sora will extend his hand. His ability to make friends is what may be Sora's greatest asset, as he can connect with people's hearts and draws his power from those connections. That applies to people Sora may have never even met as seen with how his heart repairs a broken Ventus. The Pantheon opens Sora to a plethora of new worlds to explore and gain more connections. Sometimes, this results in Sora landing on their while a conflict he has no context for occurs. People like to point out as the Keybearer, Sora should not meddle in the affairs of other worlds as much as he does but Sora would like to say that it is not his fault he ends up where he goes.
Donald: Wait a minute, it is your fault where we end up!
Sora: Sorry I have to save the universe from darkness then!
  • If there is one person that Sora hates beyond imagination, it would be Xehanort. The man even before he met Sora has been such an insane intruder in his life and is the cause for the suffering of his friends and himself. His hatred got the point that Sora's heart can briefly feel the aftermath of Xehanort's deeds from afar. Concerning Sora's opinion on Xehanort's other selves, he knows they are dangerous but cannot help but also have pity. They are evil in their own way but all cannot live to be anything beyond a pawn for their original self. That would be like if all of Sora's friends were just there to be fodder for people. Ironically, out of everybody that Sora knew, Xehanort was the one to tell Sora he is worthy of the Keyblade Master mantle. As if that opinion matters to Sora considering where it came from. Sora does not want another conflict with Xehanort within the Pantheon but keeps a very close eye on the man if he tries roping more worlds to the new Keyblade War.
  • Sora may be a champion of light and the bane of Heartless everywhere but even he once gave in to the dark on more than one occasion. His first time was deliberate, sacrificing his heart to darkness in order to free Kairi within himself—resulting in a Heartless and his Nobody being made (he got better on both fronts). Furthermore, there was his Mark of Mastery exam when Sora dove too deep into his own dreams—making him vulnerable enough for Xehanort to attempt to convert him to a vessel for himself. He may not look like it but Sora draws from more darkness than people would give him credit for. The former incident gave Sora a bit of a blessing and a curse with AntiForm, a transformation Sora randomly could take during his war with Organization XIII. Sora becomes Heartless in anything but biology, adopting feral behavior and raking enemies with claws for a certain time. When Sora was taken on fighting the real Organization XIII, he was able to take control of this darkness and abandon AntiForm for Rage Form which draws his pure anger instead of all of his darkness. Even when Xehanort could rip the light of Sora, he still has consciousness albeit lacking his versatility to sacrifice for the offense. Many villains wish to drag Sora to the darkness to nullify his threat, though are sorely mistaken if they do so.
  • Using the data of Jiminy Cricket's journal on Sora's adventures, a data version of Sora was made. Data-Sora by all accounts does not hold a candle to the person he bases off on due to everything surrounding Data-Sora's being a bunch of numbers. When Data-Sora was first made, his level is of Sora when he was first starting out on his journey though was eventually able to reach some of the heights the real Sora has done. The most notable feat of Data-Sora was the elimination of a data version of Sora's Heartless who was using the memories within the journal to accumulate endless power. That said though, when Sora is not in the Pantheon then Data-Sora takes his place, although only in the datascape. Data-Sora can also have iterations of himself be made to match the real Sora with similar combat capabilities, although still does not have the qualities that make Sora truly exceptional. If Sora were to vanish, probably on some other adventure, Data-Sora takes his place within the Pantheon.
  • Sora has the power of waking, a term that not even he fully understands yet. Basically, it is to quote, "free hearts from their sleep". Although Sora subconsciously uses it, Riku also has it albeit under a circumstance that may have been for an exclusive situation that calls for it. When trying to "free sleeping hearts", Sora may have taken it to such an extreme degree that it alters entirely timelines due to the power of waking. When all of his friends and himself perish against a horde of Heartless, Sora was the only one to return from that state and was able to free the rest of his friends afterward—causing the timeline to diverge and create a whole new scenario was they were all able to survive. Sora can even outright bring back the dead with his power, though at a certain cost. Straining himself with the power of waking, Sora can cause his entire existence to cease. No one will know where Sora goes in such a scenario but most of Sora's allies rest easy knowing Sora will never do something as dumb as that... right?
  • Sephiroth considers Sora one of the few people who can rival him in an even match. Although Sora never did completely steamroll Sephiroth in combat, he was able to match the Jenovah incarnation with strength and speed. The only reason Sora may not have gone the lethal method in dealing with the man was that Sephiroth threw in the towel before things got truly serious, citing that Cloud is the only person who can beat him. As seen with Sephiroth's One-Winged Angel form, he has not truly shown Sora what he is capable of but acknowledges keeping up with him is already a notable feat by itself. Sephiroth is happy Sora is back in the Pantheon to be his entertainment once again before setting his sights on the SOLDIER, causing people some alarm that Sephiroth will force Sora to take drastic measures when fighting him. Considering that Sora always resets his strength to make way for new abilities, nobody knows what that next hypothetical battle would be like.
  • Sora's role in the 100 Acre Woods is strange as he essentially replaces Christopher Robin, whom the animals there has more connection to. Sora loves those he meets there and visits whenever he can but feels that his connection with them is slowly distancing as he grows up. Christopher Robin told Sora that it is inevitable that a place as innocent as the 100 Acre Woods becomes distant as people become more cynical to reality, especially if reality becomes more apparently cruel. Considering both Sora and Christopher Robin went to fight a respective war, their innocence was diminishing rapidly by those points.
  • Despite Doofensmirtz being what is a villain, he is so ineffective at the supervillain role, he sometimes ends up fixing a solution to a widespread problem rather than accelerating it or increasing the problem for himself. No wonder he eventually went to quit. At some point, Doofenshmirtz made one inator to fix the daytime and nighttime cycles to suit his liking accidentally made a smaller replica of the Door to Darkness that was going to unleash Heartless across the world. Sora, fortunately, came to fix this potential mess quickly by destroying the inator. Doofenshmirtz then went to complain to Sora over wrecking his lair and made the boy clean the mess. However, Doofenshmirtz came to appreciate Sora's help over this and gave him some lemonade for his troubles. It was a brief interlude for the Keybearer though one that gave him at least one more friend.
  • Sora's disappearance from the Pantheon was coincidental with numerous other deities vanishing, all being present or having connections to the Super Smash Bros. tournament. He and the other Keyblade wielding friends came to investigate the scene, but the separation between them and Sora was inevitable leading to those Keyblade wielders becoming Spirits. Within the reaches of darkness where all the Smash fighters found themselves trapped within, Mario using all of his willpower was able to break free. Gathering the last flames of hope that was fading, Mario threw it with the hopes that it could reach anyone left who can save them from doom—which it did. The Kingdom Key came from the flame, summoning Sora and reviving the Smash fighters with his light. Sora came down to them, doing what he had always done and saving all worlds once more. Not even Galeem and Dharkon thought such power was possible. After saving everybody, Sora was made the 82nd Smash fighter and what is probably the last newcomer for the 5th Smash Tournament according to sources. He would rather not fight people and would rather be making friends but since everyone is in Smash to fight, he might as well. It would be just like fighting his friends back at Olympus Coliseum... except he was more on equal ground with everybody. Cloud and Sephiroth are even here, much to Cloud's bemusement and to Sephiroth's horror since he was not ready for Sora.
    • Sora and Put actually met before while Sora was exploring a place. Initially, Sora thought he was back at Olympus Coliseum until an angel mistook him for an enemy and almost put an arrow to his face. Considering the abominations that Sora fought prior and Pit as much power as Palutena gives him, can only do so much against someone who saves the universe multiple times. In short, Pit became pudding at the ground. The two did not meet again until Sora came to Smash and were finally able to clear the misunderstanding between each other. Palutena knew that Sora may have been a good guy considering the amount of radiating light that Sora permeates, though was unable to pursue it further until Smash came. Pit and Sora got along well VERY fast and people have trouble discerning whose who on their personality and look alone. Dark Pit bemoans another Pit clone is here but when Sora went Rage Form against him during a fight, Dark Pit came to realize Sora is a different beast entirely and went on begrudgingly calling him an all. That or Sora made Dark Pit hold up a bargain on if he won, Dark Pit would call him a friend
    • Bowser may be a princess-kidnapping dragon, but he saw Sora's Nice Guy tendencies firsthand when the kid was able to scare Sephiroth off his back—something that the less truly maniacal Smash villains wish for since the One-Winged Angel likes terrifying them. Sora being friends with Bowser does not strain his relationship with the other Mushroom Kingdom heroes, who despite always having Bowser be a pain in the neck, still invite him to things like golf and tennis. Maleficent—a frequent adversary Sora faces—displays interest in having Bowser be an ally for her if things with the Black Box do not pan out.
    • Link and Sora also seem to be great friends, as, like Link, Sora is a seemingly unimportant hero whose destiny is to stop evil from ruling the land. However, Link shows amazement that Sora's reach extends to entire planets which is needless to say, extremely vast in comparison to just Hyrule. Sora said that Hyrule or whatever place Link ends up protecting, he would do a fine job at it. Link, being the silent person he is, could only nod and say "HYAH!" Zelda, who is the Reincarnation of the Goddess, feels like her past life knows more about Keyblade-stuff. The only information she could pry was something about Keyblade wielders becoming weird animals. Perhaps it must be symbolic premonitions...
    • Sora once ran his Gummi Ship to a Leviathan containing Phazon. Being as bad of a pilot as ever, Sora went on nearly crashing his ship atop of it but was given save by Samus Aran who say the Leviathan's presence must be a plot by Dark Samus to spread Phazon across the Smash Tournament without suspect. So Sora and Samus went hunting Dark Samus in a derelict ship she was hiding at near the Leviathan. It would have taken Samus a whole adventure to do this though Sora running up walls and gliding across traps caught the bounty hunter by surprise. Somehow Ridley was snuck in there during their adventure too, which Sora gave quick work thanks to a good Thundaga spell to the face multiple times over. They were able to confront Dark Samus who was a tough opponent for Sora and Samus but combining their strengths together, they made the Dark Hunter falter. Seeing as Dark Samus may be truly invulnerable, Sora and Samus went to kick Dark Samus to the depths of space with Sora and Samus blasting a frozen Dark Samus simultaneously as she was near the Leviathan, blowing both up spectacularly. Sora did have fun at that single adventure and went to ask Samus if he could have a suit like her. He then took away that request once he saw her turn to a ball, something he had never seen before in their adventure.
    • The look on Sora's face when he was learning of a certain person in the tournament who was stealing the hearts of others was one of horror and shock. Considering his heart was nearly taken over by Xehanort to steal his body as a vessel, that is VERY personal to him. Joker who led the Phantom Thieves was able to clear things with Sora that he did not steal literal hearts in his sense but the desires of villains who know that they are doing harm to others. Sora was able to calm down at that and calls the Phantom Thieves good people now. Also, apparently, Panther is a GIANT fangirl of Sora and went to cry when she met him.
    • People find it odd that Sora's only mention to his close friends from Disney Castle was not even seen once aside from the Kingdom Key's keychain. Not even Sora's Dive to the Heart which showcases his entire connections with others replaces Donald and Goofy with a Paopao fruit and the raft he never got to sail. Not even Sora knows why this is. Maybe the Smash Tournament is doing its best to appeal to a greater power out there, far beyond even The Final World.
    • Went to ask if Pyra and Mythra are a Somebody and Nobody respectively since he knows a person who has a blonde version of her redhead self. They do not know the terminology Sora was spouting, but they wonder if he caught onto a certain green person yet.
    • Due to being seen as the final Fifth Smash Tournament newcomer, Waluigi despises Sora for "stealing" his spot... when Waluigi already has a presence as an assist trophy. Waluigi now persistently harasses Sora over this, and Sora barely knows the guy but regards him as more annoying than Pete already. This image summarizes their sentiments towards each other.
  • Cosmos regards Sora highly despite his relative immaturity in comparison to other Keyblade wielders. Sora by all accounts has a special nature to him that draws allies to him no matter where he is at. Sora could possibly be at the worst place in existence, yet his heart can reach someone to help or to help him. As a result, Sora is quite possibly one of the most valuable assets the GUAG has, and it may increase further as Sora gains more skills to his arsenal. Additionally, Cosmos went to ask the GUAG Sacred Knights to protect Sora if he ever finds himself in trouble, to which they say they would do so in a heartbeat. Cosmos does not disregard Sora's other friends, though events have better outcomes for the good guys when Sora is around which is undeniable. Cue the entire GUAG leadership being in utter turmoil and devastation when Sora was taken to a place beyond their reach.
  • Sora has been given a comparison by some specific toys resembling the video game character Yozoro from Verum Rex. The clothing style may be similar to Sora's but Yozora's looks more resemble Riku than himself, which Sora notes. When seeing a certain Noctis Lucic Caelum in the Pantheon, Sora thought HE was Yozora and went to ask him about it. Noctis came to look at a photo of Yozora that Sora took and even he has surprised at how uncanny the resemblance is. But no, it is not him and though he went on an adventure to save his love interest, Noctis did not have a laser sword and crossbow, was primarily fighting weird mechs, nor was a commander. Sora expresses disappointment with this as Yozora did look so cool. Little does anyone know, Yozora does exist and went to confront Sora to save him for unknown reasons.
  • Pirates are people that Sora fanboys over a lot, as they are adventurers seeking out new waters. This motivation for exploration is what made Sora and his friends leave their home to follow in the footsteps of (not known to them), a young Xehanort. However, cue Sora's disappointment over pirates who prioritize money and power for their reasons to be sailing the high seas. That was until Sora met Monkey D. Luffy who embodies everything Sora loves about pirates. Sora was so in awe of Luffy, he wanted to go sail the New World with him but Riku took to dragging Sora's butt back due to his duties. Still, Luffy asking Sora to be part of his crew still rings to the Keybearer until now.
  • Sora has the ability to summon allies from other worlds to help in battle. They can take offensive and supportive roles as aids, unleashing devastating abilities. Though Sora can simply call upon old friends to help him, how his summons come to his aids vary significantly across his adventures. There were Summon Gems that housed souls of those who lost their worlds, granting them bodies temporarily to help Sora when he called upon them. The Summon Gems were rendered moot when all worlds returned but Sora eventually replaced his summoning methods with Summon Charms which called upon those from different worlds similarly but instead, the actual person comes through for a brief time. After losing the Summon Charms, Sora's newest (as of this writing) summon catalysts are the Heartbinders which supposedly enhances his gift of connecting with others, only this time whatever he Link Summons somehow gain elemental properties that vastly change their proportions. It becomes questionable if Link Summons are his allies being physically there, or just projections that somehow represent an element. When coming to the Pantheon, Sora found a bunch of Summon Charms and new Heartbinders to use, though keeps them under wraps lest he wants those to be removed off of him again. Sora might not be the brightest lightbulb but at least he is aware of how frequently he loses stuff.
    • The Sun Heartbinder allows Sora to summon the power of the First Flame, unleashing the power of the Lord of Cinder himself. Despite Gwyn respecting Sora as a defender of light, Gwyn refuses to arrive to help due to his duties as protector of his realm. Instead of summoning Gwyn's power, what comes out to aid Sora is the Old Iron King, a similar yet entirely different entity to Gwyn who is said to connect with Gwyn's power. Sora rides atop of the Old Iron King, spewing as much Fire magic everywhere as lava trails behind him, with the climax attack for Old Iron King is diving to the ground and erupting out like a volcano. Sora feels the power Old Iron King offers is overwhelming but nothing he cannot handle. He assumes that Old Iron King must the Bahamut that people keep asking him to summon.
    • The Storm Heartbinder allows Sora to summon Raiden, the Cyborg former Child Soldier. Imbued with the Thunder element, Sora and Raiden unleash quick flurries of slashes towards others. A memorable time Sora used Raiden was against Polygon Man who was completely set on having Sora join the tournament he set up at a whim. Having a million thunderbolts fall down on the polygonal head really scared Polygon Man from trying to kidnap Sora any further, something that Sora and Raiden still laugh at.
    • Sora finding the Dolphin Heartbinder made him think an actual dolphin would come to help him. Instead came May atop a tidal wave, helping Sora drag any entity with Water magic to a whirlpool of aquatic animals atop of them before finishing it off with a gigantic whale. Sora now screams, "TOTSUGEKI" whenever he sees marine life now due to it being said so many times.
    • The Nomad Heartbinder brought out Aang, the Last Airbender who puts Sora within a ball of Wind before rolling around the environment, dealing damage to whoever gets in their way. It is at the climax where Aang releases Sora before using the Avatar State briefly to unleash several tornadoes around them. Sora does hope that Aang did not go overkill mode for his sake...
    • Sora was picking up ingredients when found the Carrot Heartbinder within a patch. Bugs Bunny came out of it, asking if Sora was a doctor or something amongst those lines. Dragging Sora down underground and diving in and out was fun, but Sora sharing a That's All Folks with much of the Looney Tunes cast was what he considers the best part about it. He is sure that the King told him about a rascally rabbit he knows and is sure that Bugs is that rabbit.
    • Sora's confusion over the One Heartbinder basing itself on Time magic was weird until the world went to slow down when Neo arrives on the scene. Everyone stuck within their domain becomes too slow to react properly, allowing Neo and Sora to destroy them easily before Neo brings one last domain that stops everything in its tracks briefly for a short time. Sora wonders if this is what Young Xehanort does on a daily basis.
    • The Drill Heartbinder gave Sora the power to summon the Lagann, which Sora rides on as it moves around. One would not think it would be effective but it began to bombard things around them with Space magic in the shape of galaxies that homes on against foes. Before losing the Lagann, the galaxies would all gather together to form a drill that would pierce their foes in a devastating fashion. Simon once saw a scene of Sora doing this and instead of freaking out someone got to the Lagann's cockpit, only gave admiration that Sora was able to use it so easily.
    • Ponies are especially strange creatures to ask help from but Twilight Sparkle did feel Sora's heart emphasizing protecting their friends from villainous forces through the Alicorn Heartbinder he found. Sora starts riding on Twilight Sparkle what could possibly be a barrage of Light beams raining down on foes before finishing it off with endless more. Sora one day wants to go to Equestria to see how magical the place is for himself.
    • When Sora found the Warrior Heartbinder, he thought some evil entity was there due to the sheer Darkness it was radiating and put off using it for some time until accidentally taking it out. Out came Kamen Rider Kuuga in Ultimate Form, wreathing in darkness. Instead of something evil, Sora was taken aback by how nice Kuuga actually was, giving a thumbs up before helping Sora demolish their foes with precise kicks to the face while floating, with one final double kick making sure the enemies vanish in an epic explosion. Sora then went on to apologize to Kuuga for having presumptions and both consider each other great friends.
  • The Ultras of the Land of Light showcase immense interest towards Sora as he much like them, brings light across the universe and fight in the name of peace. The Ultras also shows a particular concern over the darkness that Sora seems to fight, believing that the Heartless would one day be in the legions of Empera or Belial. This also gave great concern to Riku Asukara, who has seen how the darkness can corrupt a person through his father. Riku (and yes, Sora laughs at that Names The Same aspect) went to request Sora that he be the host for Geed in order to help him but Sora went to refuse. He would fight on his own terms and be stronger for everyone, not needing someone else to lean on to do so. Ultraman King himself saw Sora's resolve as impressive, vowing to aid the young man if in trouble.
  • Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star to be surprisingly popular alternative partners for Sora to have for some reason. Similar to Donald and Goofy, Spongebob and Patrick have their share of misadventures, including those of the apocalyptic variety. They are perfectly capable of filling the roles that Sora's most common companions have even if they would probably choke in multiple environments that do not cater to them. Sora would not trade his companions for the world but does want to visit the two one day.
  • Madoka's loss of power devastates her but thinks back towards how Sora always lost his powers, gradually building them back the way without any sorrow for it. This gave her the resolve to be like him and train herself to reach those heights again, without the help of the Incubators that is. Sayaka Miki was furious at Sora for this, being extremely protective over Madoka and not wanting some guy to encourage her to commit to what she sees as recklessness. Sayaka was able to drag Kyoko to fight Sora and prove how weak the guy is to Madoka, only for Sora to completely wipe the floor with them. Sora then said that though it is a bummer he keeps losing power, his friends give him the strength to better himself. Madoka is no different and swore to Sayaka that he would always be behind her back, just as she would do him. Afterward, Kyoko gave only respect to Sora's spiel as she was quite a loner herself until she found her friends. Sayaka felt really guilty and began questioning if she was even trusting of Madoka's willpower, resolving to stand beside her friend through thick and thin.
    • Homura Akemi's actions left Sora with conflicting feelings towards her. And no, it is not a crash due to the wardrobe change. She did something undeniably selfish and nearly unforgivable by tricking her friends for a grab at power, and at the same time, it was made to give them an ignorant yet normal future. Sora can agree with the motivations though not the actions themselves. Homura does not care for what a boy with a giant key for a swore thinks but Lucifer certainly does. Sora's ability to gather power through friendship alarms him and with how he is motivating Madoka to achieve a semblance of her old power, this may lead to a major incident that he does not want later down the line.
  • Due to Gardevoir's powers on protecting others, Sora has the Pokémon as his partner albeit interchanging with Roxas constantly on who is Gardevoir's partner. Considering how tactical Pokémon fights compared to Sora's usual "straight into battle" scenarios, Sora was initially going to attack other Pokémon alongside his partner. It was until Ash Ketchum taught Sora how to use Pokémon in fights was when Sora finally did learn those curtsies and how Pokémon were unlike Dream Eaters.
  • Hank Hill is a strange ally to Sora, something kept private between them. Some theorize that Sora did help Hank Hill with taking care of the Heartless at Arlen or Sora maybe be some influence under Hank Hill as he is an evildoer in disguise. These are genuine theories that are taken seriously. Regardless, Hank Hill is grateful to Sora for helping him with "certain issues" and gave some Gummi blocks in the shape of propane. It only took fifteen explosions for Sora to realize the dangers such power propane products have.
  • "My friends are my power!"

@nightelf: Lex travels within books instead of minds and had a Treacherous Advisor, Professor Codex. Koro-sensei during his former assassin career raised an apprentice (son of a mark he killed) who would become an enemy known as "The Reaper". Two races of the New Alliance of Free Stars come to mind for Raz: The Syreen, who all have overall superior psychic talent might have a closer genetic relation to humanity than expected, and the Arilou, who can speak to people telepathically and basically The Greys, on top of rumors that they've experimented on the minds of isolated humans and cows, and being involved in humanity's early development.

I'm done with the Library. Now accepting [tup]s.

The Library of Babel, Divine Great Big Library of Everything

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/babel_5.jpg
  • House: Dimensions and Multiverses
  • Description: A dimension consisting of a vast library with an uncountable number of books
  • Symbol: A book
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Massive libraries containing every possible book in existence, one legible book amongst a million books of pure gibberish, Awesome, but Impractical, trying to find symbolism in nonsense, confusing stories
  • Domains: Libraries, Books, Knowledge, Language, Infinity
  • Similar Places: The World of Library, The Great Library
  • Interests: The House of Knowledge (especially the Three Seekers of Knowledge), the Hall of Language, Twilight Sparkle, Wishbone, Lex the Bookworm, Angela (Lobotomy Corporation), Vril Dox/Brainiac
  • Unholy to: Captain Beatty, Big Brother
  • Conflicting Opinion from: Wan Shi Tong, I.M. Meen
  • Banned from Entering: The Nothing, Erazor Djinn. Alice (Bibliomania), Arakune
  • The Library of Babel is a dimension that takes the form of an infinitely expansive library chock full of shelves filled with books. Every book that has been written and could be written is located within these shelves, and with enough searching, one may find the book they're looking for. While it initially seems to be a bookworm's paradise, there is a catch; as a consequence of containing every possible book written, most of them consist of illegible keysmash-esque gibberish, unfit for human consumption. For every legible book, there is a million nonsensical tomes around it, and combined with the Library's gargantuan size, it makes finding a specific book a near impossible task.
  • The humans who are born, live and die in the Library spend their lives reading and searching for books. Some seek to find the Vindications, tomes foretelling man's future, some seek the origin of the library and time itself, some seek the perfect compendium of all other books. But no matter how many hexagonal rooms they traverse, staircases they climb, or bookshelves they scour through, they would never find the exact book they're looking for. As such, many have been driven to madness, and have either jumped off the railings to their own deaths or destroyed the gibberish books, believing them to be heresy. Men may come and go, books may burn and fade into oblivion, but the Library continues to stand eternal.
  • The Library is made up of an endless series of hexagonal rooms; four of the walls house five bookshelves each with 32 books, much of them 410 pages long. The fifth wall has a door that leads to another room, the sixth wall houses two compartments; one for sleeping, the other to fulfill one's physical needs. It is an understatement to say that the Library is humongous; indeed, with the uncountably large number of possible combinations of written characters possible, there would likely be an infinite number of rooms necessary to store all of them. The sheer size of the Library baffles many in the Pantheon, with researchers scratching their heads as they keep encountering dead ends trying to figure out the maximum size of the Library.
  • Naturally, the House of Knowledge has taken great interest in the Library; as their big claim to fame is owning every book that has been written, the prospect of a realm where an even greater number of books are stored would pique the interest of many a bookworm, archivist, and knowledge seeker. The Three Seekers of Knowledge have all expressed their intent to traverse the Library and discover something that even they do not know yet. As such, plenty members of the House have visited the Library to browse the many bookshelves and see if there's anything fascinating within the hexagonal rooms. The denizens of the Library, while aware of the Pantheon, haven't expressed much interest in visiting the House or even interact with the Pantheon's denizens, being for too focused on finding books in the Library to reconsider other options or to parlay with strangers.
  • With the Library being filled with every possible book that can be written, it would be a foolish idea to think that it would limit itself to only one language. Indeed, the library is stuffed to the gills with books written in all existing languages, from the commonly used to the barely spoken and the completely extant and forgotten. From English, to Portuguese, to Yiddish, to "a Samoyed-Lithuanian dialect of Guarani, with inflections from classical Arabic", one can find books written in any language possible. The Hall of Knowledge and other linguists were positively drooling at this discovery, providing them with a treasure trove of material to discover and research languages, especially the ones with barely any information to collect and use. Thanks to the Library, linguists can get closer to deciphering and understanding many more languages, and thus understand more about history and the writings left behind.
  • At a first glance, the Library is a bookworm's paradise; an infinite collection of books to browse and peruse means many hours spent reading. Upon hearing about the Library, Twilight Sparkle was overjoyed to hear about so many new books she can discover and read at her leisure. Her excitement soon turned into disappointment when she learned that she'd had large difficulties finding a legible book, as much of the Library's contents are unreadable gibberish. Still, she sometimes drops by the Library to browse the books and see what's inside, as well as research more about the dimension itself, for there is still much to learn from the realm. Having magic makes it easy for her to skim over the contents of the books and carry them with her. The residents of the realm remind Twilight of when she scoffed at the idea of friendship and buried herself in her studies something she's slightly unnerved by. Wishbone, a fellow lover of books, has also expressed some interest in the Library, if only to see what it's like inside the rooms. Perhaps a walk through the Library would be a good enough story for Wishbone, even if he fails to find a readable book.
  • To those who detest books and knowledge, the Library is a shining testament to everything they oppose and despise. Captain Beatty, a fireman dedicated to burning books to prevent the spread of "poisonous knowledge", is incensed to hear about the Library, believing it to be near heretical and aimed to purge the entire Library to cleanse it from its books. He was greatly frustrated to find out about the Library's infinite size and collection, hampering his planned purges; How is he going to remove poisonous knowledge when there is no end to them? Big Brother is also offended by the existence of the Library, as the Party heavily restricts the knowledge one can access in Oceania. He hopes to apply his totalitarian efficiency to the realm, believing that his ways can overcome the overwhelming size of the labyrinth.
  • The Library has no known librarians within it; the only inhabitants are the explorers who wander the rooms. Still, the existence of the Library piques the curiosity and interest of the Pantheon's librarians. Lex the Bookworm has taken great interest in the Library as it greatly reminds him of the Great Library in his world. He sometimes drops by to peruse through the many books to see any interesting novels. While intrigued by the Library, Wan Shi Tong was furious to hear about how the Library's wanderers tend to destroy book for any reason, which makes him hostile to them and has made them unwelcome to visit his library, believing that they would also try to destroy his books as well. I.M. Meen occasionally visits the Library to check out the books, only to end up complaining about the "goody-goodies" walking around the place, making the Library denizens regard him as a nuisance. Angela is intrigued by the Library as it's incredibly similar to the Library in her world, down to most of the books being meaningless gibberish. Unlike her Library, this one does not have any books that were once people nor are there any Abnormalities walking around. Walking the Library gives her a sense of wistful nostalgia.
  • For those who have an endless appetite for knowledge, the Library is like a dream come true; An infinite repository of books means an endless buffet of information to discover and absorb into their metaphorical stomachs. As one with an insatiable desire to absorb information, Alice has set her sights on the Library to absorb both the books and its denizens into her Book of Truth, inscribed as text forevermore. Likewise, Arakune is utterly giddy to hear of a place where he can devour books to satisfy his bottomless stomach for knowledge, as if it an all-you-can-eat buffet. Those two have likewise been banned from entering the Library out of fear that they would cause considerable damage to the Library, though that hasn't stopped them from trying to break in. Brainiac, a person with a goal to absorb as much information and knowledge as possible through research and destruction, sees the Library as another avenue to expand his knowledge, though he is quite frustrated that most of the books there are practically useless in his eyes. But if he persists long enough, he might learn so much more...
  • If there is anything that can threaten the Library, it's those who can easily destroy information. As the Nothing annihilates the imagination, dreams and fantasies of humans, it naturally can destroy stories with its mere presence. As such, it is feared that it can wreak unimaginable havoc on the Library, turning the infinite repository of books into an empty, desolate expanse of nothingness. As such, the Nothing is on watch for any potential movements into the Library, as annihilating an endless realm wouldn't be impossible for an incomprehensible force of destruction. Likewise, Erazor Djinn's ability to destroy narratives and stories also made him a Persona Non Grata to the Library to prevent any outcomes where he strips the pages of their texts.
