The Magical Girl Sisterhood, dedicated to those that live the life of a Magical Girl. Located in "a place among the stars", a sort of Heaven for Magical Girls. Headed by its founders Madoka Kaname, Sakura Kinomoto, and Usagi Tsukino for the expressed purpose of gathering friends and allies to the vocation. This is a place of peace, this is a place of awareness, this is a place of life, this is a place of hope. Welcome to the Haven for those women/girls that seek magic... A division of the Grand United Alliance of Good.

Unfortunately, the once-proud group has run into a bit of trouble as of late:

The Sisterhood is currently under reconstruction, both of its members and its architecture: a recent event known as "The Great Upheaval" not only redefined a number of important members of the Sisterhood, but it heralded a truly horrific bout of rioting amongst some of its members and followers that destroyed a good portion of the Sisterhood's base of operations. The worst of it has died down, but there are still pockets of unrest, and morale is at an unprecedented low. Usagi and Sakura are scrambling to maintain order in Madoka's place, with limited success. Some believe that a prophesied return of Sailor Moon in the "Month of Fire" will restore stability in the among the Sisterhood, but in the meantime there is a power struggle brewing between Usagi's more extremist followers, Sakura's followers who want HER as the leader, and those who wish for Madoka to return to power.

The only thing that even remotely unites them all at this point is their seething, near-unanimous hatred of Lucifer, the mastermind behind the Upheaval, and the small group of heretic "Homuciferians" who believe Homura's more direct, aggressive leadership could be good for the Sisterhood. Usagi and Sakura have begged their followers not to attempt to confront Lucifer or these heretics, both because of his power and because he's just that good a smooth talker; they need no more defections or fractures within. This cold civil war is only made worse by the actions of YHVH's forces, who are attempting to take advantage of the Sisterhood's weakened state and press-gang them into their ranks.

It went from bad to worse when it was discovered that the Great Will plots to deliver a terrible fate to Madoka herself: with her utterly powerless, the Big Man Upstairs simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to destroy one of His rivals permanently. Fortunately, when word got out, it has provoked the righteous fury of a very large amount of the Pantheon, with Lawful, Chaotic, Good and even some Evil deities declaring their intent to do whatever is necessary to render Him null. The big man personally does not care in the slightest - As Long as There Is One Man who believes in the need for laws and rules, one man who seeks salvation through Law, the will of the Universe will bring Him back. Having decided open war is pointless, given that upholding a standard is essentially empowering Him, the Sisterhood is studying options to definitely end the Order Versus Chaos Forever War. They're pretty much at a stalemate now until new events force someone's hand.

And then things got even worse: a number of members have started reporting strange dreams, all involving white, ghostly figures of people they know. These members began showing suicidal tendencies soon after, talking about "ending it all" and "returning all to nothing". These dreams turned out to be the work of the recently-ascended White: embodiments of despair from beyond the mysterious "Expanse" who seek the utter destruction of reality. The White were called by the massive surge of despair caused by the Upheaval, and under their guidance, a number of corrupted Puella Magi moved on the Yamato Reactor, seeking to destroy it and cause a reality-shattering chain reaction. Flynn, protector of the Reactor, and his rival, Naoki Kashima/the Demi-Fiend had no choice but to defend it.

There were no survivors.

While the reactor was saved, and the White lost their physical forms for the moment, it's cold comfort for the Sisterhood. They must now focus on rebuilding. Among their goals are restoring Madoka's divinity and "befriending" Homura, but even here they have encountered problems. Some of their members have turned Knight Templar and have defied orders, hunting the former Mother Saint with full intent to make her suffer for her actions. However, the actions of Homura's self-appointed guardians - Gabriel Belmont and the Master Chief - have so far prevented any of these extremists from coming close to their goals, quickly and (as necessary) violently turning back any attempts to harm her. Recently, direct attacks by the extremists have declined to a degree with the emergence of whispers that John-117's feelings toward Homura have become paternal in nature; the mere idea of The Demon going full Papa Wolf against the Sisterhood is a terrifying one, enough to frighten off most of the extremists from trying anything major... for now.

And if things couldn't get any worse, prior to his own ascension to the Pantheon proper, Lord Arktivus Brevon laid siege to the Main House. And when he was on the brink of defeat, he used their Goddess as a Human Shield. While Homura did manage to force him to abandon that plan, they know it's only because she wants to ensure her safety at all costs, no matter where the perceived danger is coming from.

Wonder Woman serves as this division's liaison to the Superhero Division. She is a key part in helping to rebuild this group that is currently in shambles.

"The Goddess"

Madoka Kaname, Goddess of Magical Girls and Hope, Co-Founder to the Magical Girl Sisterhood (Kriemhild Gretchen, Penitent Gretchen, Godoka, Madogod, Madokami, Ultimate Madoka, Madoka Kumquat)
  • Overdeity/Demigoddess with sealed powers post Upheaval.
  • Symbol: A pink Soul Gem.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Reason for Sainthood
    • Madoka is an interesting case in that as the Goddess of all Magical Girls and as the Sisterhood Co-founder, she insists on not taking the title of Sainthood. Her reasoning is more of a matter of keeping a low profile than anything else.
    • One of the reasons she has created the Sisterhood, is as a means for other to learn for those that have taking the vocation to protect life and hope in their world. She means to correct the many miss-steps that happen to those that Jumped at the Call to become Magical Girls.
    • The other reason is that this group intimidates GUAE, since they see its formation as a threat to their ambitions for the world. They have also have a 'kill on sight' policy should she be engaged on the battlefield directly, since she can and will revive any Magical Girl. (Not that it helps them, being a concept also make her existence hard to destroy)
      • Due to her being such a high priority target, and especially due to the "Fear Toxin Incident", an entity known as "Chakax the Eternity Warden" has been directly assigned to ensure her safety (in addition to the other security). This hulking reptilian brute is in many ways the perfect body guard, being armed with artifacts that enhance it's great vigilance, such as a helmet that automatically foils all disguises magical or mundane and automatically senses the presence of anyone within sight range (and its effects are 360), a great mace that destroys magic items, and a magic key that imbues him with chronomancy powers.
  • Although she officially is no longer the head of the Sisterhood, many members of the Sisterhood still follow her word as law, even above that of Usagi. Despite this, or because of it, Madoka is attempting to distance herself, so that Usagi can run the Sisterhood without her interference.

Queen of the Sisterhood

    open/close all folders
    Usagi Tsukino
Usagi "Serena" Tsukino, Goddess of Magical Girl Warriors, Co-Founder and Acting Head of the Magical Girl Sisterhood (Sailor Moon, "The Messiah of Purity", Princess Serenity, Neo-Queen Serenity, Sailor Cosmos (maybe?), Bun-head, Meatball-head, Odango-atama)
  • Greater Goddess
  • Symbol: The Silver Crystal embedded in a moon-shaped wand.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Sainthood
    • Years after her work, Usagi/Serena remains a force in defining the vocation. She was Sakura's predecessor to the title of Magical Girl Goddess before retiring from the title. She has returned to the Pantheon to correct what Usagi/Serena sees as an injustice; her sisters have suffered and that cannot be allowed.
    • Usagi/Serena seeks justice, friendship and love, most of all. These are qualities that make her the Mother-Saint. Over the years she has acquired this and much more, but injustice remains... and it is her duty to correct this among the pantheon.
    • Despite her promotion to Queen, Usagi insists that all she is doing is "keeping Madoka's seat warm" while they work on getting her powers back.

Mother-Saints of the Sisterhood

Along with the Goddess of Magical Girls, are the Saints of the Vocation. They are led by Mother-Saints - the first members to the title of Sainthood and the Sisterhood's Co-founders.

    Sakura Kinomoto
Sakura Kinomoto, Goddess of Magic Card Collecting, Mistress of the Clow Cards, Co-Founder & Mother-Saint to the Magical Girl Sisterhood (Sakura Avalon)
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: Her Star Wand, in key form
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Reason for Sainthood:
    • Sakura is a force within the vocation. She is Madoka's predecessor to the title of Magical Girl Goddess, having stepped down when Madoka proved herself worthy, and to that effect she has mentored others into vocation including Madoka herself, Rin Tohsaka (much to her chagrin), and her many followers.
    • Sakura is concerned over GUAE wish to use the Clow Cards for evil and destruction. Also is concern with the group, she sees them as her children. Under the Sisterhood, the Mother-Saint as a means to correct this should they come to acquire the cards or harm a sister.

    Nanoha Takamachi
Nanoha Takamachi, Goddess of Magical Destruction and the More Popular Spin Off (The White Devil, The Ace of Aces, That Thing)

  • Reason for Sainthood
    • In the method of Befriending, she is a pioneer in this method. It can't be overlooked.
    • She is dedicated completely to her friends, Fate Testarossa-Harlaown in particular. Madoka sees that and the need of her power as an asset to the Sisterhood and qualification of sainthood.
    • As such, she has been gathering the TSAB division here.
    • Replaced Usagi Tsukino as Mother-Saint after Usagi was promoted to Queen of the Sisterhood following the Great Upheaval.
  • Her current goal is to "befriend" Homura (the easy way or the hard way, whichever works) and bring her back into the fold of the Sisterhood. Unlike many of the angrier members who demonize the girl, Nanoha sees Homura as a scared and traumatized child being driven by the multitude of horrific experiences she's been subjected to that have warped her mind and injured her spirit, and a lost soul who needs to be gently taken by the hand and led back to the Light... though, if necessary, she is willing to use everything she has to deal enough (non-lethal, magical) damage to render the girl incapable of fighting back against that, as she has done with several of her own former foes in the past. She's also one of the few within the order that's fully aware that Master Chief is trying to help them....by reaching out to Homura.

    • The Golden Tablets of Lustria foretell of a prophecy in which 4 human children would bring hope and dispel entropy and chaos. Lord Kroak believes the Puella Magi's Mitakihara Four are those children, thus he frequently aids them from behind the shadows on all matters. His aid became much more open after the "Fear Toxin Incident".
    • He along with Kyoko have been advocating for Sayaka's entry into the sisterhood since it's founding, despite Madoka's hesitation on the matter.
    • If needed, he also provides raw muscle to back the Sisterhood up in the form of nearly fearless Mighty Glacier "Old World Lizard Men". One regiment of the elite "Temple Guard" per member of the sisterhood has been given to the order to guard them during combat with the same ferocity that they would a Slaan after the "Fear Toxin Incident".
