Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

  • Carnotaurus is an odd dinosaur. Discovered in 1985 by José Bonaparte in Argentina, it was a impressive find with well-preserved skin textures and plentiful bones to visualize a clear image of the dinosaur. In the past, there were two that managed to migrate to parts unknown due to a catastrophe that rendered food and resources very low. This Carnotaur pair managed to discover ad track down a massive herd of herbivorous dinosaurs to track down and hunt. They had no malicious intent, they were only driven to live another day and had no other choice. Unfortunately, both met their demise dealing with them; one was killed trying to attack a few herd members that were left behind and the other fell to its death desperately trying to kill an Iguanodon named Aladar.
  • Despite their deaths, the Carnotaurs would find a way to enter a new world in some way. After waking up, they found themselves at a lush jungle, surrounded by various unfamiliar fauna. This caught the pair's attention as unlike their previous hunt, they were in an environment that would actually benefit them greatly. Thus, the Carnotaurs became a rising predators in the Pantheon, ready to live out their carnivorous life as they want.
  • They may be vicious beasts and certainly strike fear within other dinosaurs, but truth of the matter is, the Carnotaurs are animals who are living out their lifestyle like Mother Nature intended them to be. Most herbivores would run and panic upon the sight of even one of the Carnotaurs, but they don't hate them as the Carnotaurs only really see them as food and only hunt when hungry. Otherwise, its actually not rare to see the Carnotaurs observe herbivores from a moderate distance and trot around the forests minding their own business.
    • The Gang of Seven don't see them as enemies for largely the aforementioned reasons. While they know the Carnotaurs are a dangerous threat, they don't think of it as malicious animals and would rather ignore them at best. Not to mention there are evil carnivores around that take precedence first, Sharptooth included.
  • A lot of residents think they're incredibly exaggerated compared to an actual Carnotaurus. Not that some people mind, as they do have a few fans who think the dinosaur pair are badasses. Still, its best that they'd keep their distance as they're actually about the size of a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
  • Being apex predators, the Carnotaurs tend to face some competition among other carnivores, especially Rexie. Normally, a Carnotaurus shouldn't really compare against an obviously larger predator which was adapted to take on some of the most dangerous herbivores of its time, but the Carnotaur pair are actually able to give the genetically-engineered tyrannosaur some sort of challenge, given that they're about the same size. That said, Rexie is the stronger opponent and wins more often, though the Carnotaurs were able to secure a piece of forest as their territory.
    • A lesser competition is present against Own Grady's Raptor Pack. While the Carnotaurs are stronger and more physically intimidating, the raptor's genetic enhancements and intelligence allows them to outsmart the larger predators and gain more success in their hunting. That said, if they ever did fight another, the Carnotaurs would win, given the large size and power difference.
  • All this said, the Carnotaurs are not without what could ostensibly called "friends". They have some form of companionship with Speckles and the three of them take to hunting together at times. Speckles even allows them to take refuge in his territory if they should Helping matters is how Speckles Jr. befriended an infant Carnotaurus named Blade, hence Speckles is more easygoing with them. Glavenus is another predator that the Carnotaurs can associate and befriend, given that the former does somewhat resemble them.
  • Predators or not, the Carnotaurs take a wide distance from Sharptooth. The two actually considered sharing territory, but after seeing how Sharptooth's personality and hunting tactics come off as destructive and self-serving, the pair want nothing to do with him. What made them enemies however was when Sharptooth intruded their lands and picked a fight. It was a stalemate with Sharptooth only leaving after a distraction from Rexxar who caught wind of the battle.
    • Said experience did allow Rexxar to approach and tame the Carnotaurs into becoming personal mounts at some points if they're needed. The predatory pair don't know how to perceive Rexxar, but are comfortable around him as the orc does his best to keep them satisfied and well-monitored.
    • The same experience can also be said with the Indominus and Deviljho. The former is just as ruthless and malicious as Sharptooth and has invaded the Carnotaurs's territory more than once. While Deviljho isn't evil, it's inherently savage nature, nomadic lifestyle and ridiculous persistence has often led the Carnotaurs to seek alliances with other beings solely to take them on.
  • Some have speculated that the Carnotaurs are a mated pair, hence explaining why they are so dedicated to one another. There's no confirmation about this as of now, though the Carnotaurs are known for tolerating and often having conversations with Eliza Thornberry. She's withholding the information due to reasons only she and the Carnotaurs know about.
  • Due to being unique for their species, the Carnotaurs have been targeted by Pokemon Hunter J, much to their dismay. Unfortunately for J, the Carnotaurs are fiercely territorial and have proven a tough challenge, though she has persisted and even nearly captured them, had it not been for a surprise intervention from the Glavenus, forcing her to retreat. This aid has since made the Carnotaurs more trustworthy of the Brute Wyvern and have formed a Power Trio of sorts.
  • Because of their experience with death, one of the Carnotaurs is incredibly cautious when it comes to caves and indoor areas whereas the other keeps an eye out for cliffs and does it's best to stay away from dangerous edges. Because of the concern for death by falling, either an obstacle or themselves, the Carnotaurs are wary of the Daedric Prince, Shegorath, who has a habit of executing people by throwing them into portals that exit from high altitudes, causing the executed to fall to their deaths. Shegorath on the other hand sees the Carnotaurs as animals and doesn't see a point in doing the same to them, not to mention they're not someone who would listen to orders.
  • Struck some sort of friendship with Gaston. Some have stated that this obviously has to do with the way both of them died, though Gaston has stated that the Carnotaurs are pretty chummy with him and they don't talk about their deaths at all. He's been wanting to introduce the predatory pair to the other Disney villains, though they insist the Carnotaurs would be more annoying and distracting than anything else.

  • A member of the Ultra Alien Race dedicated to protecting and watching over the universe, Ultraman Belial battled against the Alien Empera and it's armies alongside Ultraman Ken in defending the Land of Light. However, Belial took to being awed by Empera's power and felt cheated that Ken was given a promotion as Supreme Commander of Space Garrison. This led Belial to seeking the artificial sun of the Land of Light, which seared him badly and resulted in him becoming exiled by the Ultra Race. Desiring revenge, he made a deal with Alien Rayblood to merge with one another and equip the Giga Battlenizer. Leading an army of a hundred monsters, Belial attacked the Land of Light and defeated Ken, but not before he himself was defeated by Ultraman King and banished into the Space Prison for 20 Millennia.
    • This did not stop him, as Belial would be freed by a Zarab alien, regained the Giga Battlenizer and embark on another crusade to take the Land of Light, succeeding in neutralizing the Ultra Race. He would later come into blows against Ultra Seven and establish the Belial Galactic Empire, desiring to conquer the entire universe. Finally, Belial would confront and battle against his final Arch-Enemy, his son, Ultraman Geed, who resided on Earth as Riku Asakura. After thousands of years of attempting to conquer the universe and later wanting to destroy it, Belial was killed by his son, though Geed felt bad about the amount of frustration, exhaustion and bitterness he endured throughout and Belial himself refusing redemption.
  • In his very first moments in the Pantheon, Belial straddled across the cosmos, looking for Asakura, fully aware that he had ascended some time ago. Taking precedence in the House of Family Belial demanded to know where his son was and didn't care about intrusion. A chance meeting with Relius Clover went badly for the latter and Belial promptly thrashed him around the House and forced Relius to relinquish his representation of Archnemesis Dad to him. These events, alongside his prior reputation, have made Ultraman Belial two of the most feared members in the House of Family, a position he shares with Archaon the Everchosen.
    • Ever since his beatdown and humiliation, Relius has since taken up the trope of Irisless Eye Mask Of Mystery and retreated to the House of Costumes for residence. He now dreads Belial for his vast strength, ruthlessness and sheer malevolence. Ironic, given what kind of person Relius really is, much of the House of Family have since taken up to mocking him about it. Belial on the other hand couldn't care less and has grander ambitions to look forward to.
  • Not too long after making his coronation into the Pantheon, Belial immediately bought fourth his empire as his heralds. Emperor Palpatine was... amused by this news, but immediately considered Belial a rival as it became clear that while both of them are galactic threats, Palpatine is more keen on governing it as a tyrant; Belial would rather blow it up, though he does seem to relish his position as a tyrant as well.
  • Although he joined the Grand United Alliance of Destruction as their end goals were aligned with his than Melkor's Belial still has a very significant role and influence in the Demonic Legion, where he takes the guise of Kaiser Belial. Because of the Ultramen's presence in the Toku Base, Belial is usually seen governing an army of evil forces who've maintained their enmity against Belial's race. He's nominated The Four Heavenly Kings of the Alien Empara, Camilla, Chaos Darkness and Dark Zagi as his lieutenants. Since his full-time ascension into the Pantheon, Belial was more than happy to bring them along as his heralds.
    • That said, being in the Demonic Legion also means that Belial is in some way, associated with the GUAE, much to his annoyance. He's made it pretty clear time and again that he's more at home with the GUAD than anything else and finds more common ground with Nekron than he does with Melkor. Melkor thinks Belial is being whiny about the situation whereas Nekron is making some attempt to help out Belial in his troubles.
  • Riku Asakura immediately took to alarming the Toku Base about the threat and reputation of Belial and the GUAG faction has taken arms to begin their battle against the malicious Ultraman. Belial himself is not satisfied with Ultraman Zero not being around to combat against him, but given that his son killed him, he'll have to make do with Asakura.
  • He was quick to consider himself a competition against Melkor. The God of Evil accepts the challenge to see who gets to destroy the Pantheon first, though Belial himself is not a full member of the Grand United Alliance of Evil. Instead, he wound up allying himself with Nekron and the Grand United Alliance of Destruction as his end goals align more with the latter towards the former.
    • All that said, he has a rather cordial rivalry with Darkseid. The fallen Ultraman sees the Lord of Tyranny as a fellow dictator and is thoroughly impressed by the excessive torture and cruelty he is able to show. That said, despite being a tyrant himself, Belial prefers destruction over dystopic lording. Darkseid however sees Belial as a better competition than Melkor and encourages him to embrace his villainy, though he's made it clear that they're only allies if Belial relinquishes his alliance with Nekron and the GUAD, something which isn't easy.
  • While he's struck a deal with the Child Abuse Supporters, the latter have asserted that they are the representatives of the bad side of parenting and family. Belial however counteracted by stating that he is more powerful than all of them and that he's a bigger threat in the long run. Not that he's wrong, given he comes from a race of superpowerful aliens and has come close to destroying the galaxy at some points. That said, their alliance is rather stable and Belial is content with advocating for further child abuse and neglect.
  • Hates Superman and Orion immensely. It doesn't help in that both of them are similar to the Ultra species by virtue of being heroic and powerful in their own right. That said, he's amused by the fact that Orion is Darkseid's son, which reminded him a lot of his cloned son, Asakura. In turn, Superman and Orion see him as an maniacal warlord not unlike Darkseid and Mongul and have vowed to stop him at all costs, with Orion even forming a close relation with Asakur.
  • His omnicidal nature allowed for good relations with King Ghidorah and Gigan, two kaijus who are just as depraved as he is and Belial even offered them a chance to join his empire. Although the two are currently more concerned with their own schemes, they'll often tag along with Belial if they want to wreak havoc for the hell of it.
    • Hearing about Godzilla, Belial immediately engaged him in battle, eager to see why he was called "King of the Monsters". It paid off; Belial relished the fight and wanted to kill Godzilla partly because he saw him as a Worthy Opponent and partly because he felt killing him would mean most kaiju would swear fealty to him. Fortunately, a timely intervention from Mothra and Shin Hayata forced him to retreat. Since then, he's planning for a comeback with Ghidorah and Gigan.
  • Among his fellow comrades in the GUAD, he has a strange tie-in with Oryx, the Taken King. Both of them desire a chaotic tyranny and are willing to nuke the galaxy if it means achieving their goals. There is a major difference in that Oryx does truly care about his offspring whereas Belial would do his damn best to kill his son. Despite that, Oryx isn't going to intrude Belial from his fixation towards Asakura and the two are content with what they do best.
  • Loathes Team Dai-Gurren is pretty concerned with their breaking the impossible shtick. Naturally, he selects Nia Teppelin as the one hew views with most disdain as Nia's overall nature and Power of Trust annoys and baffles Belial to no end. He also finds Lordgenome to be a sore disappointment in giving up on killing Nia and honestly wishes to kill both of them with his bare hands, that is unless he goes through Simon first. And no, Belial isn't working with the Anti-Spiral in this regard as Belial is uprfront about destruction, in contrast to the Anti-Spiral's approach in maintaining population control over the universe.
  • He takes it with pride that he is the first villain from his franchise to ascend into the Pantheon. That said, he's still somewhat sore about the fact that Geed got there first. Not that it matters as Belial now has another shot at killing him, alongside Shin Hayata and Gai Kurenai.
  • Being a Fallen Hero of the worst kind, Belial quickly struck an alliance with the Plutonian, who is more than pleased to see someone be of relatable acquaintance. The two of them are currently planning out ways to invade and lay destruction towards the Pantheon. To the terror of the Pantheon should Belial reach out to his Atrocious form and the Plutonian figuring out his reality-altering powers.
  • Malicious he may be, Belial is also opposed by a few villainous deities. Chief among them was Zamasu, who is disgusted and irritated by the amount of destruction Belial caused throughout the cosmos, in addition to being a Satanic Archetype. Belial simply snickered and called out Zamasu for also being a rebel just like him, a fact that the fallen Kai does not take kindly. He's also opposed by Malekith and Evolto, though for different reasons; Malekith thinks he's bonkers about his goals and sees him as being similar to Nagash regarding destruction and egotism whereas Evolto gets reminded of his older brother Killbus whenever he's reminded by the fallen Ultraman.
Stand for all eternity in the gaze of your fallen people!

Musing: I feel a number in the GUAG would critique the Phantom Thieves for Heel–Face Brainwashing as they aren't actually redeeming people, but making them an Empty Shell. They aren't making them better people, and many in the GUAG would consider them essentially killing them, Not So Different from The Evils of Free Will. Of course, and this is admittedly critcism/cynicism from someone outside the fandom, their targets aren't real people and just Flat Character Hate Sink cariacutres to not make the Phantom Thieves designated heroes

Again, what should I add?

  • Opposed by: Rem, Senator Steven Armstrong, Abader, much of the House of Justice, Mick Foley, 'Alarak, anyone who believes that Authority Equals Asskicking or Asskicking Equals Authority.
  • Chief of CP9, Spandam is an enforcer of the World Government an ambitious, yet weak man who has had aspirations of world domination. He manipulated the Five Elders to change their policies about Ancient Weapons for himself, however his loftier aspirations haven't gotten anywhere. Though lacking personal strength, he has connections and he's ready to use them.
  • In a world where leadership is often reflected through strength, Spandam stands out like a sore thumb. He's even weaker than the basic foot soldiers he commands, and presumably only holds his position because of his family links to Spandine. Alarak finds this utterly outrageous, as does Senator Armstrong due to how it clashes with his views. Olivier finds him a disgrace to Cipher Pol, with Spandam reminding her of General Raven.
  • His mask was based off Mick Foley's Mankind persona. Giving how loathsome Spandam is, the wrestler was not amused and Spandam fears angering him further since he'd get his ass kicked.
  • The only advantage Spandam has is his Cool Sword Funkfreed, which "ate" the Zou Zou no Mi so it can transform into an elephant. Of course, the weapon's utility is crippled by being used by Spandam. He used to have a pet elephant as a kid. Both the house of Combat and Weapons find this incompetence laughable, which only pisses him off. Especially when they call him "Spanda".
  • Was interested in using the elephants Barbar and Ganesha for his own purposes. Given what an obnoxious, odious and slimy figure Spandam is, they want nothing from him. Mammoth Mogul regards Spandam at best as a tool to quickly use and discard, and usually nothing but a distraction not worth his time.
  • At first one can mistake Spandam for an Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain, but given that he brutally abuses his prisoners, is a slimy coward and has a very disproportionate ego the "sympathetic" part flies out of the window. Of many who hate him, the Phantom Thieves of Heart come to mind given he is the slimy bootlicker and agent of a nefarious government they target for Heel–Face Brainwashing. Particularly Ann Takamaki, as she survived abuse from Suguru Kamoshida and Spandam's abuse of Nico Robin was particularly disgusting to her.
  • Because of how much of an inept Jerkass Spandam is, he tends to work best with those as loathsome as himself. Spandam's as cowardly, egotistical and inept as Djibril so he is a superior Spandam can get behind. He has also pledged alliance to Prime Minister Honest and Walder Frey. This has only further magnified everyone's hatred of them, but it's not like they have the personality to improve their reputation anyway.
  • While Babidi is a far worse boss than him, the two get along rather well due to the many, many character flaws they share and both being far weaker than even the weakest they order around. Spandam found himself relating to Shinji Matou as well. While Spandam's abuse wasn't ever sexual, he's just barely less disgusting to Sakura Matou as Shinji is. Spandam gets along with Raditz for their villainous cowardice, though less so as more of his family and the Saiyan race has ascended.
  • Though not intentionally malicious, Zapp Brannigan gets along with Spandam. It boils down to how both are failures as generals, yet inexplicably have a high position of leadership. Mr Burns was initially dismissive, given he's a corporate overlord and not in the political or military field, but as they're both a case f "Weak Boss, Strong Underlings" and Mr Burns is speculating financial benefit with the World Government, they have come to work with one another. And yet despite everything, Mr Burns and Zapp are still more likable than
  • A believer in absolute justice conveyed by Sakuzaki, though at the end of the day he is more concerned with his personal goal, ultimately wanting to be the one in charge of the World Government and biding his time for a day that will never happen. He's interested in the GUAL's potential for him, and how Asmodeus and Thief are able to exploit the law to their benefit.
  • Has decided to worm up to Manfred Von Karma and Light Yagami, in order to exploit their vision of justice for his own. Manfred finds him to be a hanger on, and Kira sees him as nothing but a pawn to use and dispose when his time comes. As far as Rem is concerned, bad as Kira is she'd still prefer him having his Death Note over Spandam getting it.

  • Opposes: Ragyo Kiryuin
  • Opposed by: Most of the House of Love and Meals
  • Charlotte Linlin, better known as Big Mom, is one of the Four Emperors, the most notorious and feared pirate leaders in the world. Head of the Big Mom pirates, her base of operations is on Whole Cake Island and she serves as queen of Totto Land. On face value it's a borderline Sugar Bowl with focus on sweets, desserts and other bright things. However behind the Sweet Tooth queen is an unstable and very powerful woman with near total control over her domain.
  • Since she was 18 Big Mom has been taking a husband from different locations, having children and dumping them to marry a new husband. She's had 43 before stopping at age 60. Keep in mind that she mainly kidnaps her husbands and they don't have much say in the matter, which does not go over well with the House of Love. Nor does the fact she keeps trying to marry her offspring to others in the pantheon, mainly in the House of Otherness due to her propensity for Interspecies Romance and half-human hybrids.
  • While she Really Gets Around, she and Queen Medb don't care much for each other. She has had dozens of husbands, but Charlotte did so as a power play and not out of lust. Medb finds Big Mom to be really unstable and best ignored.
  • As much as it's possible for him, Walder Frey had an oddly cordial relationship with Big Mom. Both are big fans of marrying as many times as they can, resulting in a very large family(though he simply outlives his wives). The two have been plotting marriage ceremonies for one another to boost their political power in a mutual alliance. Prince Hans has wanted in it, and Big Mom thinks helping him will help herself. Just so long as he doesn't marry any of her children. Of course, Hans already knows not to mess with Linlin and won't try to screw her over.
  • Glenn Quagmire once considered sleeping with her because he looked at old pictures of her and thought she was good at sex given how many husbands she was. Too late did he see how she looks nowadays and tried to escape Totto Island as fast as he could. Big Mom called him a hypocrite given he's a Kavorka Man, but most agree that even outside of her personality she is far uglier than Quagmire.
  • Might be the only real ally of the Queen of Hearts. A lot of this has to do with how she takes a lot after her; fat, selfish, easy to anger and living in a Wonderland-like domain, along with Decapitation Presentation and general Bright Is Not Good nature. The two bonded over sweets, their attitude and general personality. Alice has found Big Mom far scarier than the Queen of Hearts, which is quite justified.
  • Why does Big Mom have so many children? She dreams of a utopia where all races live peacefully side by side. An egalitarian goal, but it's corrupted by insanity and food cravings. Also, she has ruthless control over her citizens, uses a sharp tax through taking lifespans and is a general Control Freak. Which is why she has sided with the GUAL, appreciating Yaldabaoth's societal control and YHVH's egalitarian features met with The Evils of Free Will. However she's Neutral Evil instead Lawful because she's nuts and her chaotic personality can get in the way of the GUAL's hopes.
  • She has a competing vision with Light Yagami. Both have their own vision of utopia, a world without conflict which they control. And both visions are crippled by a character flaw-Kira wanting to be god more than his utopia, Linlin being homicidally insane and delusional. And since they want to be the one in control, they are in competition to create this "perfect world". Due to how the Soru Soru no Mi can affect lifespans, it's unknown how this might be seen with anyone who has Shinigami eyes.
  • Her Devil Fruit, the Soru Soru no Mi or Soul-Soul Fruit lets her freely interact and manipulate souls. With this, she can extract soul fragments so long as her targets are afraid, and give inanimate objects life. The Father of the Homunculi was impressed by the usage of this Devil Fruit, and how she was able to create strong homies from mere pieces of her soul. He can only imagine what could be done if someone like him with the souls of thousands had the Devil Fruit. This concerns Big Mom greatly since he is actually a challenge for her, and Father may have realized just how she got her Devil Fruit from Mother Carmel; unknowing cannibalism.
  • Having already split his soul several times for immortality, Lord Voldemort wants the Soru Soru no Mi for himself as it would allow his horcruxes to take a life of their own and be far more powerful, while also being confident they'd stay loyal to him since Prometheus and Napoleon have to Big Mom. Marceline, who's become as powerful as she has in part by absorbing the souls of the last remaining vampires, finds her use of the Soru Soru no Mi to be repulsive and in general Big Mom to be insane]]. It remains to be seen how any life extraction would work if Big Mom was able to do so to her, considering as a vampire her lifespan is potentially infinite and even without it she managed to live a thousand years in an Alternate Timeline where she never became a vampire(albeit as a very old woman).
  • Has over eighty children, and is in no way a good mother to them. She has a bad habit of enabling their negative traits like her adoptive mother did to her, yanked forty years out of her son Moscato for getting in her way and tried to kill her 23rd daughter for ruining a marriage arrangement. Most in the House of Mothers dislike her for her insanity and abuse. However even Big Mom considers Ragyo Kiryuin a vile mother for her sexual abuse.
  • Do not do the following around her: try to leave Totto Land, betray her, ask questions about her picture of Mother Carmel, point out she doesn't have a certain race in her "collection", and especially don't get in the way of her sweets and tea time. Her rampages and rages about food are why the House of Meals doesn't want her stepping foot, and why she has Kirby on her hit list. Princess Bubblegum dreads the idea of Big Mom visiting the Candy Kingdom lest she rampage and eat her citizens, and being a general deranged queen.
  • Had amnesia for a time, and proved a much more generous and stable person. Sadly the attempt to keep her compassionate failed and she reverted to normal. The Phantom Thieves of Heart want to change her heart and restore her to that nicer state. At the same time, they understand she isn't naturally evil like many of their targets, but twisted and enabled by poor parental figures, the likes they are all too familiar with.

[up] Spandam would likely be hated by other villains too, mainly because of his cowardice and incompetency. Sauron, Darkseid, Thanos and Palpatine would see him as a toom to manipulate at best and a waste of time at worst. Also hated by Apocalypse, Esdeath and generally anyone who adheres to Social Darwinism given how weak and pathetic Spandam is.

Some more suggestions, with one I think Clovis would be interested in (for adoption):

10) David Michael Letterman, God of Talk Shows Named After The Host

  • Reasoning: I initially considered Jay Leno, host of the longest-running talk show The Tonight Show but since Letterman has a longer tenure as a host of the Late Show, I've decided to give him the crown. He's hosted 6080 episodes with his name on the docket (Late Night and Late Show) and has been cited as a major influence on many of today's modern late night talk show hosts (Stephen Colbert, Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, John Oliver and Seth Meyers).

12) The Flood, Divine Evil Water

  • Reasoning: A viral life-form inhabiting water than transforms its victims into hideous water-thriving zombies. A single drop can fully infect a victim.

The Bull of Heaven, God of Bulls (Gugalanna)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/15846708369_6222e9dbac_o.jpg
Mural depicting the Bull of Heaven being slain by Enkidu and Gilgamesh
  • Greater God
  • Symbol: The Taurus constellation
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Rampaging Bull, Can Bring Great Famine and Destruction, Sent to Earth by Isthar to Get Back at Gilgamesh, Killed by Gilgamesh and Enkidu, Sometimes Depicted with Human Head And Wings
  • Domains: Bulls, Destruction, Famine
  • Allies: Hydra, Quadratus
  • Enemies: Gilgamesh, Tiamat, Tapu Bulu, Spring Sprite
  • Fears: Quetzalcoatl, Hercules
  • The Bull of Heaven is a divine bull told in Mesopotamian mythology. It is a bull who could drink rivers dry, create giant craters by simply snorting and bring forth seven-year long famine from how destructive he is. When Ishtar was rejected by Gilgamesh, she demanded her father Anu to give her the Bull so that she can get her revenge. Anu eventually submitted and gave the Bull into Ishtar's hands. Ultimately the might bull was slain by Gilgamesh and Enkidu, though the Bull's death angered the gods enough to eventually lead to Enkidu's death.
  • Gilgamesh was furious that the Bull is here in the Pantheon. Mainly because he just knows that it is Ishtar's way to bother him until she herself can find a way to conveniently be in the Pantheon. He will make sure that there won't be enough left of the Bull to be sacrificed if he gets his hands on him.
  • Is also called Gugalanna, which just happens to be the same name as the first husband of Ereshkigal. We are not certain if the two are the same person.
  • Within the Babylonia Singularity, Gilgamesh had plans to use the Bull against Tiamat if he were to acquire an alliance with Ishtar. The plan fell short when Ishtar revealed that she somehow lost sight of a mountain-sized bull. It was really embarrassing to her to say the least. However, what seemed to have happened is that the Bull was summoned into a different timeline by Isthar who manifested into the Fake Holy Grail War that was happening in Snowfield. So Ishtar essentially lost the Bull to herself.
    • After looking everywhere for it, Ishtar sort of gave up on finding the Bull, thinking that he has already left to the heavens so there is no point bothering him anymore. Except since Ishtar was still salty about the whole situation, she decided to create a brand new Bull of Heaven by setting up a race within a Singularity taking place in Connacht to act as a summoning ritual. Since she was getting Drunk with Power upon creating Gugalanna Mark II and other complications on her even summoning it, the new Bull was smashed to pieces by Quetzalcoatl with an epic piledriver. The original Bull is understandably terrified on what the Feathered Serpent can do to him.
  • It is surprising that Inanna, the Sumerian counterpart of Ishtar, never ended up summoning the Bull to aid the Divine Powers. How much would have he helped, it is hard to tell, but he would have been some use. It might be that the Bull associates himself with Ishtar more than it does with Inanna.
  • Has a close relation with Hydra as both of them are monsters sent by a goddess to kill a certain hero, but were slain by them instead.
  • No one has dared to breed him with Miltank yet. Miltank is already a pain to deal with, so having her have a child with a divine beast would terrifying.
  • Is despised by Tabu Bulu due to it being a bull-themed Nature Spirit while the Bull is known to be extremely destructive towards nature if given the chance. This hatred also extends to Spring Sprite.
  • The Bull seems to get along with Quadratus, who is another large-sized bovine.
  • Odysseus is reminded about the cattle of Helios upon hearing about the Bull, mainly how the gods tried to punish his men for killing the cattle like how the gods got tired of Enkidu's antics after he helped Gilgamesh kill the Bull, leading to them to kill off Enkidu. On a separate note, the Bull is trying to avoid Hercules since he doesn't want to get captured like the Cretan Bull.
  • Has no relation with a band sharing the same name.

  • Allies: Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy, Jill McBain, Suzu Houjou, Black Beauty, Belle and Beast, Anna of Arendelle, Elsa of Arendelle, Jill Stingray
  • Enemies: Gaston, Hans Westergard, Akio Ohtori, Embryo, Nobuyuki Sugou
  • Opposes: House of Alcohol
  • Helen Graham was the long-suffering wife of the caddish Arthur Huntingdon, who she married out of a naive belief that it was her duty to help him mend his ways. Arthur had no interest in doing so and proved himself irredeemable, prompting Helen to take their young son (also named Arthur) and flee somewhere out of his reach. She settled at a manor called Wildfell Hall, claimed to be a widow and painted for a living, attracting much gossip, as well as the romantic attentions of Gilbert Markham, to whom she recounted her story to explain why she could not freely return his interest. However Huntingdon's dissolute lifestyle didn't take long to kill him, fully freeing Helen from his yoke and allowing her to start anew.
  • The Pantheon decided to have her ascended for False Widow, as that was her guise while running away from Huntingdon's abuse and toxic influence he had on their son Arthur. They were impressed that even when her dreams of "fixing" Huntingdon came crashing down, she remained strong-willed enough to want to escape such a horrible married life, despite it going against most rules of the time, and so thought she was worthy of godhood. They're also hoping her story will serve as a cautionary tale about the dangers of wanting to live out such a fantasy.
  • Elizabeth and Darcy were among the first to welcome her with open arms, knowing a place like the Pantheon would seem quite overwhelming to someone like her. Hearing her story made them interested in her, and they were disgusted at Huntingdon's caddish behavior, which reminded them of George Wickham, who they can only pray won't turn out so bad now that he's Elizabeth's youngest sister's husband. Besides that, and being a rather progressive couple, they approve of Helen's course of action in abandoning Huntingdon and making a living on her own, given Huntingdon was definitely not worth it. As Helen was scrutinized for being an independent woman, she finds the two to be people of sense and rather refreshing to talk to.
  • Helen's identity as a widow may have been a guise (even if it ended up becoming the real thing due to Huntingdon dying as a result of his own decadence), but that doesn't lessen the respect the Determined Widow goddess, Jill McBain, has for her for standing her ground and doing what she thought was best, despite all the odds being stacked against her. The sentiment is mutual, with Helen being shocked at how Jill's circumstances were a lot more extreme, including being targeted for assassination due to refusing to give up on fulfilling her dead's husband's dream.
  • Helen is a pretty talented painter, and she used that skill to make money for herself and her son while hiding from Huntingdon. The House of Craft is thus very welcoming to her and they're always willing to show her paintings. It was at such an exhibit that Helen came across Suzu Houjou, and both admired their skills. They also hit it off and became friends given the many difficulties they have gone through in their lives, even if they're of a pretty different nature, as Suzu's problems had more to do with surviving a war while her (loving) husband was off fighting. Either way, the two women still had to deal with surviving on their own, so they're pretty supportive of each other and are occasionally seen paiting together.
  • For a more unusual friendship, Helen found she felt some affinity for the horse Black Beauty when she hired him one day to help carry her painting supplies. This is because of her learning about all the abuse and mistreatments Black Beauty went through due to people who thought of him like a machine rather than a living being with needs. Helen was surprised she would see something of her situation in an animal of all things, but at the end of the day, they're both beings that were taken for granted and lorded over by cruel people, so they understand each other's feelings. It also helps that Black Beauty is quite the gentleman for a horse, and Helen always makes sure to treat him properly and reward him when he helps her.
  • The tale of Beauty and the Beast and its lesson that women should be virtuous to their husbands even if they seem monstrous would be the kind of thing that would make Helen roll her eyes, given she now spurns such fantasies. She was thus fairly skeptical about Belle and Beast, but after learning Belle made it clear she had no intention of putting up with the Beast's bad temper, and that he made efforts to improve on his own, Helen became much more sympathetic to them, recognizing that some people can change. And of course she detests their nemesis Gaston, who she has no doubt would be a boorish and abusive husband to Belle, possibly worse than Huntingdon.
  • Helen heard of Hans Westergard and how he succeeded in fooling Princess Anna into thinking he was a true Prince Charming, just to get at her older sister Elsa's throne. Helen is relieved that the whole matter failed to work in his favor and that he never managed to marry Anna before exposing his true colors, saving the princess from much misery and teaching her to be more sensible in matters of love.
  • There are many more abusers Helen despises. There's Akio Ohtori, whose status as the Prince Charming of his world made him entitled when it comes to women, Embryo, who has some very contradictory opinions of what strong women should be, and Nobuyuki Sugou, a pure slimeball who was perfectly willing to marry a comatose young girl without her consent. The things these men were capable of truly terrify Helen, and moreso the fact that they managed to get away with it for so long on the strength of a good reputation.
  • Despises alcohol, since both her father and Huntingdon were susceptible to alcoholism, making Helen's life even more miserable. She trained her son to dislike it with that in mind. You will never find her in the House themed around the substance; a lot of deities treat it as a cool place to party and being inhabited by some of the funniest gods, but Helen doesn't find it the least bit amusing and thinks they're trivializing the troubles alcohol can bring.
  • Although Helen won't put a foot in a pub, that didn't stop Jill Stingray, bartender of the VA-11 Hall-A, from visiting her herself. She had heard of Helen running away from her husband and it reminded her of how she had run away from her girlfriend Lenore herself, and was curious as to what Helen would make of that. Admittedly, Jill's circumstances were not as bad as Helen's, since Lenore wasn't actively abusive (but she was a tad controlling) and the whole thing was due to an argument gone awry. Helen, sensing that the two actually did love each other (and after taking a moment to accept the concept of two women in such a relationship), finds Jill's case to be pitiful, especially how she never saw Lenore again before she died, but still sympathizes with Jill's motives for running away if Lenore really was so overbearing.

TPPR: You know, what would The Bull think of Ishtar’s host, Rin Tohsaka? Also, can you expand more of it’s interaction with Quadratus because it’s so boring to read. Also, an interaction with Matador since he loves to kill bulls and since The Bull of Heaven is a divine one, hr would love to challenge it. Also, Manolo Sanchez, since he was forced to become a bullfighter by his family but doesn’t want to kill one and when he was in the Land of the Cursed, he was able to win in a fight with a bull through his music and Don Flamenco who while he is a boxer, does bullfighting in his spare time. And what about other bulls like Ferdinand and Baine Bloodhood (who’s technically half-human). If you’re able to add all of this, I’ll give you a [tup].

  • Tenchi Masaki was an ordinary high school student, or so he thought, until he explored a cave near his family's sacred shrine in Okayama, curious about the tale of a demon who had been sealed in that cave by a legendary warrior, only to unfortunately awaken said demon. The demon later reemerged as the beautiful yet crazy space pirate Ryoko, who proceeded to have some "fun" terrorizing Tenchi for a night while he was walking home from his high school. While she did destroy the school, any attempt to harm Tenchi would ultimately be repelled by the power of an energy sword he'd also found in the cave. The next day, she and her cat/rabbit/spaceship hybrid Ryo-Ohki moved into his place, and she promptly began attempting to blatantly seduce him, at first so she could steal back her power gems which had been sealed into the sword.
    • Ryoko's awakening led to her being pursued by Jurai's crown princesses Ayeka and Sasami, (mostly Ayeka with Sasami along for the ride) and the Galaxy Police detective Mihoshi, to the tune of which she summoned her personal warship Ryo-Ohki. Ryoko and Ayeka's battle had been fierce enough that Tenchi knew there was no way they could avoid destroying the city, so his residence was relocated next to the rural Shrine and he had abandoned any ideas of going back to high school. Ryoko also brought in a ridiculously cute pet cat/rabbit... who was also Ryo-Ohki.
    • While the girls all agreed to settle down in Tenchi's home for some crazy reason or another and ended up becoming attracted to him to various degrees, they would soon be met by the first big threat. Ryoko's evil former boss, an infamous superpowerful scientist called Kagato, came to repossess Ryoko, nearly killing Tenchi in the process. The resulting battle on Kagato's battleship Soja wound up sparking the beginning of Tenchi's true power and nature being unlocked and revealed even to the boy himself. The harem only grew from there, as they freed the villain's mentor Washu, the true mad scientific genius responsible for creating Ryoko, Ryo-Ohki, Kagato himself, and the very spacecraft on which she'd been held captive.
    • After more misadventures involving Tenchi and the horde of alien women who were growing increasingly in love with him despite his unremarkable personality, including tales set in alternate continuities, Mihoshi's partner in the Galaxy Police, Noike Kamiki Jurai, came to claim Tenchi according to an arranged marriage. She too would settle into the house at the conclusion of a wild escapade, especially after another conflict emerged involving Washu and her divine sisters.
  • As one of the first of many young men to have such adventures, Tenchi's ascension was a formality, with his tendency to get exasperated at the attention being used to generate his trope seat. However, absence makes the heart grow fonder and the Pantheon does not favor inactivity. It became increasingly obvious over time even to the few friends Tenchi made in the Pantheon that he missed his ladies greatly, to the point that Android 21 offered to help find a way to ascend them.
    • Looking through the records, she discovered something about Tenchi's destiny. While most days in the Masaki residence usually end in battle for Tenchi's heart, well, that mostly comes from Ryoko and Ayeka's natural penchant for bickering. More importantly, even if Tenchi might get tired of the attention every now and again, he would nevertheless marry his entire entourage of female companions rather than choose any one of them over the others. Not only that, Tenchi's instance would codify this as a solution for many young men caught in similar situations. Capitalizing on this, 21 quickly gathered all the data she could find to prove that the residents of the Masaki House would make a strong addition to the Pantheon, with Tenchi's destined choice to Marry Them All becoming the new seating trope. Ultimately the court agreed with this, welcoming Tenchi's women to the Pantheon as companions in his temple, which resembles the Masaki Shrine and House grounds.
  • Applies in general:
    • Back in their own universe, the Masaki home was considered the single most powerful place in the entire universe. Of course, that title is now in question in the Pantheon as there are just as many deities who are just as or more powerful then them.
    • (Optimus Prime)
    • (Omnimon)
    • Two collective groups the Masaki family formed alliances with came as absolutely no surprise to anyone in the Pantheon: the Sailor Guardians led by Sailor Moon, and the Dragon Team led by Son Goku. While their allies have mostly taken shine to (or slight contention with) specific members of the house, Usagi and Goku themselves are mainly cool with everyone. Android 21 has their gratitude for helping to get them all ascended as a favor to Tenchi, especially with that particular trope.
    • While there are others associated with their house and family, they have chosen three (technically four) specific parties to serve as their Heralds for very special reasons:
      • Tenchi's grandfather Katsuhito, the legendary warrior who sealed the demon in the cave 700 years ago, and Ayeka and Sasami's missing brother the Crown Prince Yosho were all outed by the villain Kagato's deductive reasoning as being one and the same. Plagued with a sea of issues surrounding his love life and galactic politics, Yosho had used the battle with Ryoko to slip away to the Masaki Shrine on Earth, where distant relatives of Jurai's House Masaki resided, and eventually took over as their Shinto priest. Because of these events, Katsuhito was brought to the Pantheon as the main Herald of the Masaki House. For anyone curious, Tenchi's grandmother is an Academy classmate Yosho fell in love with.
      • Thanks in large part to Mihoshi's exaggerated yet not entirely false retelling of a past caper involving ultra-energy matter and the noted existence of a Makibi family with the Galaxy Police, it was found that Kiyone Makibi from the Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo continuities does exist in the main continuity as Mihoshi's former partner before Noike. Moreover, she survived her supposed death from said caper, now working in a different jurisdiction happy to be forgotten. Strings were pulled to have Kiyone ordered to check on her old partner as part of a gambit to bring her to the Pantheon as the House's second Herald. Moreover, she is able to verify a few points in Mihoshi's story about the ultra-energy caper.
      • The robotic sentient floating logs Azaka and Kamidake have been Ayeka's guardians since childhood. She pretty much goes nowhere without them, though they are also loyal to Sasami and the other Juraians. Their names, which are both marked on them and color coded to tell the difference (Azaka being in blue, Kamidake in red), come from two legendary Juraian knights. If the Universe continuity is any indication, they may be linked to the souls of said knights to the point that they can be sacrificed to revive them if need be.
    • There are plenty of detractors to their ascension who have no problem with them as people but hold strong beliefs that marriage should be monogamous. Princess Cadance is one who made this opposition abundantly clear, while Shawn Michaels and AJ Styles have since expressed a "let them do it if they want, it's not my thing" stance, more or less agreeing with her while being more civil about it.
      • Strangely enough, Tenchi ran into Cadance once while venturing out. She wanted to talk to him about the subject, and despite being convinced he would be getting told off, he agreed to hear her out. She surprised him by making it clear that she meant no hostility towards him or the family; rather, her position comes from concern that a man trying to keep multiple wives satisfied will lead to conflict and please no one, wondering if he has what it takes to avoid all that. Relieved that she wasn't coming from a harsh place, Tenchi thanked her for explaining herself, but had this to say in response:
Tenchi: I never asked for those girls to come into my life, but they did, and I couldn't be happier for it. I said before that I'd die before I forsake any one of them. They know I mean that.
    • (Frieza)
    • (Cell)
    • (Sheev Palpatine)
    • (Master Xehanort)
    • One day Tenchi came back home from a trip through the Pantheon, but immediately failed to recognize Noike. He then began to act surprised at the most minute details over dinner, such as Ayeka using his grandfather's real name and Washu making mother/daughter cracks towards Ryoko. The girls began asking if he was feeling well, and he freaked out, running away. When he didn't come back that night or the entire next day, they spent the day after looking for him; Ayeka and Ryoko found him with two others about his age; a tall boy with wavy black hair named Shukuro and a girl with pale skin and dark blue hair named Sakuya. Tenchi appeared to be very cozy with the latter, treating her as his girlfriend, and defensive of her to the point of accusing his harem of trying to get in between the two. Ryoko left with this parting message, the others following suit:
Ryoko: I don't know what the hell happened to you, but you are NOT our Tenchi!
      • Overcoming the pain of the moment and piecing together that something had altered Tenchi, they looked into Shukuro and Sakuya. Through researching the House of Knowledge, Washu and Sasami discovered two things; Shukuro was infamous enough to gain a seat in the Pantheon for his ability to falsely insert himself into people's memories, and Sakuya existed in the Tokyo continuity as an intentional [invoked] Canon Sue manifested from a Juraian mutant called Yugi specifically to draw Tenchi away from the girls (though she was none the wiser about it until the very end). Storming Shukuro's temple, they found themselves in a trap with two innuendo-laced cyborgs who both went by the alias Pantera, with Ryoko, Ayeka, and Yosho forced to defeat them; this living clue led to the temple of Zonda and the Seven, who had both Shukuro and, oddly enough, a now-powered Sakuya with them and all engaged the family in a chaotic fight.
      • Through this battle, Washu pieced together the truth. Zonda had added her illusions to Tsukishima's memory insert power in order to imbue Tenchi with his Tokyo counterpart's memories, and the current "Sakuya" was actually a copy made to be knowingly loyal to Zonda — and the subject copied was not merely Sakuya, but Future Yugi herself. Confirming this, Zonda revealed an unconscious Tenchi floating over a table and exposited that he'd succumbed to the mental breakdown effect of Tsukishima's power fairly easily thanks to his higher-dimensional true nature clashing with the switched memories. The Lustful Mirage proceeded to absorb a large chunk of Tenchi's powers to reawaken her deadly Reverie form.
      • Washu, carrying Sword Tenchi, gave Ryoko all three of her power gems to allow her to fight all out, yet it still wasn't enough to overcome Reverie Zonda, especially with the Oracle and Teseo manipulating reality. Desperate, Washu entered goddess mode and Tsunami was roused by Sasami's prayer within, as the two reached out to Tenchi's consciousness and roused him awake, much like Tsunami did before against Kagato. Once awake, Tenchi engaged Zonda with the power of the Light Hawk Wings; he used up a six-winged barrier to deflect her Paradise Lost song, then converted a Light Hawk Wing Sword to smoothly overcome her attacks and defeat her, allowing Kami Tenchi to take back the power she stole, disabling her Reverie transformation and destroying the fake Yugi/Sakuya.
      • Post-battle, Tenchi was back to his normal self and apologized for what his manipulated mind put his women through, though his Tokyo incarnation's memories weren't completely destroyed. They were stored away into the higher dimension's knowledge, minus Tsukishima, who Ryoko had forced to undo his effect via another cut. Hearing about this altercation, Copen and Gunvolt both visited the Masaki house and gave them the full story on the Eden organization and their Kill All Humans agenda; furthermore, Kisuke Urahara, a friend of Washu's, gave her the scoop about Tsukishima being a member of a similar organization called Xcution, connecting the dots about his alliance with Zonda. Furthermore, following the GP officers' investigation into the Tokyo timeline, no one hates either Yugi or Sakuya; should an older reformed Yugi ever appear in the Pantheon, she will be tested hardcore by Ryoko and then greeted with open arms.
    • (Jiraiya)
  • Applies to two or three of the girls:
    • While Ryoko and Ayeka were well known to tussle violently against one another in the past, they came to mellow out eventually. They still have their fights, but after living together long enough to know one another beyond the reckless criminal and the highstrung princess, deep down they do care about each other. In fact, the two are actually carrying another rivalry on the same side, that between the Juraians and the Saiyans of Universe 7, both of course standing with Jurai.
      • The whole thing originally stemmed from Vegeta and Ayeka's criticism of the other's race for its supposed barbaric practices (the Saiyans being pathological blood knights and the Juraians keeping it in the family), even though both races have specific genetic differences that make this work and are among the most powerful species of all time for it. This later included Vegeta's son Trunks (the present kid one) as well as Sasami, who would mostly step in to defend their own families rather than insult each other's. The two youngsters would realize through talking with one another that rather than truly hating each other's races, Vegeta and Ayeka were simply baffled at how each other's customs ever produced great power instead of internal self-destruction (Saiyans) or massive biological defects (Juraians). Still, this doesn't stop the fighting, as Vegeta and Ayeka are both very proud of their heritage and wouldn't respect anything less from each other. In fact, they seem to draw an odd form of understanding from this bickering.
      • Ryoko got involved after the other Saiyan soldiers in the Pantheon showed no hesitance to disrespect what Paragus coined "the inbred gardeners of outer space." Made even worse by the fact Raditz tried to hit on her yet he agreed with this comment. She countered that the weirdness of Jurai produced Tenchi and they didn't need a giant conflict to accept him, while if the "second-rate space apes" as she called the Saiyans ever produced someone special like that, they'd reject and try to eliminate them as a disgrace. In fact, she credits Goku, Vegeta, and their half-Earthling children as being the only Saiyans who actually learned their shit. Bardock has shown respect for Ryoko's strength and loyalty but will still stick up for his race against her, while the rest of his comrades simply hate her guts.
      • The above is more than just an example of Ryoko and Ayeka's bond underneath their rivalry; it caused Ayeka to fully realize that Ryoko was never an enemy to Jurai of her own volition. Given their initial conflict had started with Ryoko's attack on the planet, this was a major turning point which allowed them to further accept one another.
    • While Ayeka's been forced to acknowledge that she will not be wedded to Yosho, she and Sasami both retain a close loyalty with their half-brother in his elderly guise as Katsuhito.
    • The house mostly has a friendly relationship with Androids 17 and 18, especially after learning that they were normal humans modified against their will by Dr. Gero. Being around Washu, they know what it's like to be around a Mad Scientist to begin with, but they can also tell the difference between Washu and a pathetic criminal who could honestly pass for one of her hopeless rivals. However, Washu and Ayeka are the ones who are friendliest to the twins for particular reasons.
      • Washu once tricked them into entering her lab so she could study them, curious about the Earth technology that would allow them to encroach on the powers of galactic emperors and Physical Gods. However, learning that they were former teenage runaways turned this curiosity in a more careful and nurturing direction. While they refuse to accept her mothering, they do appreciate that she cares.
      • Ayeka encountered them in the lab while Washu was preoccupied and, after figuring out what was going on, decided to converse with them. Since then she admires their kinship towards each other as well as their drive for independence, loves 17's reverence for nature and quiet simplicity, and thinks Ryoko should take a page from 18's healthy reformation from her criminal past and love for her husband and daughter.
    • Ryoko and Washu both despise Ragyo Kiryuin, seeing her as a combination of what would happen if Washu, a crazy mother who would experiment on her children, was as amoral as Kagato, a Manipulative Bastard willing to use mind control to bend others to his will and considers everyone around him to be like an ant in his presence. Washu goes so far as to declare Ragyo a disgrace to science. Ragyo counters that Washu isn't much better due to her own tendency to create destructive things, ignoring that said reputation is rather exaggerated (mostly based on her Universe self).
    • Thanks to Kiyone tracking her down and becoming a herald of the Masaki House, Mihoshi now has two people she can partner with depending on the mission. Usually Noike is priority as Mihoshi's partner, although Kiyone will step in on that front if Noike is forced to deal with some other matter at the time. Unsurprisingly, both are frequently irritated with her blundering, though Noike is as much if not more annoyed by Mihoshi's affectionate personality in addition to that and is the harsher of the two in dealing with her. That said, they've both come to simmer down over time. Kiyone has mellowed out to about her Universe temperament, and Noike's disposition is more consistently sunny since integrating into the house and openly engaging Tenchi.
  • Applies to Tenchi:
    • Since his ascension, Katsuhito occasionally accompanies and guides Tenchi on certain travels related to his growth into a suitable Shinto priest and future Prince of Jurai.
    • Even if nobody cared, or let alone look at Tenchi, he's shown to be quite a good fighter on his own, seemingly always able to adapt and overpower his enemies. The first example seen may be one of the most striking; during the first major crisis involving his harem, he survived being cut in half in the middle of space long enough to be healed by the goddess Tsunami, unlocking his ability to generate three pure energy constructs called Light Hawk Wings — something only Royal Treeships should be able to do.
    • Understandably, Mahiro Yasaka understands what it feels like to have people oozing over you even if you don't want that. They do wonder which one has it worse.
    • As young scholar/heroes with great potential whose worlds come from similar eras of creation and localization, Tenchi has also become friends with Son Gohan. They also related somewhat in that Gohan got the interest of several girls in high school, but given that Gohan's girls weren't the type to engage in battling for the same guy whether he liked it or not, he was able to make one solid romantic attachment instead of being strongarmed into forming a competitive harem.
      • Related to this, Tenchi, Katsuhito, and the Son family largely stay out of the Vegeta vs. Jurai squabbles. In fact, in addition to Tenchi's friendship with Gohan, Goku gets along swimmingly with both Tenchi and Katsuhito, as he often encourages Tenchi to never stop growing and occasionally relates to Katsuhito, sharing wisdom from their experiences as refugees from alien cultures who formed stable lives on Earth.
    • Through the conflict involving Washu and her divine sisters Tsunami and Tokimi, the truth would be revealed to Tenchi at last. He's an incarnation of the supreme god above the Choushin who created their universe, the Being of Heaven and Earth, Kami Tenchi. Remarkably, even women outside his original harem are giving him a second look. Prior to his harem's ascension, he couldn't decide which of the Goddesses he likes the most. After they've joined him, he still can't. This is probably why he just took all of them. His true divine nature also has some wondering what relationship he might have to Cosmos and Ilúvatar.
    • His powers aren't all that makes him a formidable fighter, though. His training to become a Shinto priest under his grandfather Katsuhito also included swordfighting training using kendo shinai. Turns out Yosho was teaching him the Jurai Royal Family house style of swordsmanship. Since entering the Pantheon, Katsuhito has taken him to see the blind swordmaster Kenshi Takahashi, who also shares the same given name as Tenchi's half brother, for further instruction so that he can refine the Juraian house style and make it all his own. This training highly benefited him in the battle with Zonda.
    • Kyu Sugardust has told Tenchi that she's proud of him for being able to fall in love with and marry a bunch of attractive girls without needing any help from her. Alexstrasza, who at one point in the past had several mates (as did her fellow dragon aspects), finds it funny that it was an ordinary-seeming young man like Tenchi who would mass-marry his way into the trope seat.
    • Superman, while not omnipotent, is another visitor from another world much like Tenchi's progenitors who's capable of pushing past the impossible whenever necessary to do good. They bond over the fact that they would rather live simple common lives than be eternally hailed as either a superhero or royalty, but are grateful to be as Strong as They Need to Be on a regular basis to protect those they love.
    • (Luke Skywalker)
    • It should go without saying that Tenchi is considered an inspiration to many young heroes who find themselves at the center of a harem.
    • (Issei Hyodo)
    • (Negi Springfield)
    • (Touma Kamijou)
    • (Kimihito Kurusu)
    • While the latest Persona Wild Cards' situation wouldn't quite be considered a harem, their entourages do include several girls who they could woo. Neither considers being romantic with all of said girls to be a suitable option (though Joker is certainly capable of trying), but they do see how they can learn from the way Tenchi treats his women no matter who (if anyone) they decide to go with.
    • (Domon Kasshu)
  • Applies to Ryoko:
    • Despite her informal imprisonment in the Masaki Shrine cave running out the statute of limitations on her crimes, the massive bounty on her head has yet to be cleared. This is because while Jurai and the Galaxy Police aren't going after her anymore, organizations from other planets have decided otherwise. This is especially true in the case of the Galactic Empire, with Boba Fett, the God of Bounty Hunters, considering her his greatest quarry after the Skywalkers. The Mandalorian mercenary has tried several times to capture her, with miserly results.
    • Once bumped into a girl whose hair and clothes were a combination of navy blue and red, and ended up picking a fight with her. And then she saw how the girl's battle transformation saw her turn her sentient sailor fuku into basically armored lingerie, becoming impressed at her shamelessness. The two fought ferociously for a few minutes, respecting each other's strength as time went on, until she realized the girl was talking about "Life Fibers" while calling her attacks. Ryoko stopped the fight and asked her name, getting back the answer of Ryuko Matoi — meaning she was the strong rebellious test subject that evil bitch Ragyo had cast aside and left for dead. Introducing herself to the girl and explaining how she can empathize, Ryoko befriended Matoi. The two meet up once a week to spar and then hang out.
      • Ryoko has since become fairly protective of Ryuko, refusing to let any scientists run tests on the girl if she can help it. She even rebuffed her own mother when Washu asked the girl if she could study her, despite knowing that Washu is not evil like Matoi's mother. Ryuko is grateful to have someone watching her back.
    • (Yuugi Hoshiguma)
    • (Tsunade)
    • (Marik Ishtar)
    • (Balthier)
    • Being that Ryoko is a strong, sexy, outwardly confident woman who goes after what she wants, Ann Takamaki considers her an inspiration. To no one's surprise, she soaked up that praise once she heard about it. However, she did follow up by going to see Ann and find out more about her. She came away friends with a very cool and spirited high school girl who happens to have a few issues with inner guilt and situational confidence.
    • The Devil Caller met the intrigue of Jeanne, given the similarity to the Umbra Witches in her ability to summon and control demons. Ryoko decided she liked Jeanne's style, but didn't understand the whole deal with contracts so she declined getting involved in the Platinum Knight's "magical mumbo-jumbo".
  • Applies to Ayeka:
    • (Princess Zelda)
    • (Leia Organa)
    • Despite her best attempts to portray a Proper Lady out of her sense of duty, Ayeka has a crazier side of her own. There's her obvious short temper which Ryoko often inflames, for one thing. Then there's a rumor based on a certain Image Song hinting that she might be into S&M.
      • Naga likes to tease her about hiding her dark side, to which Ayeka tends to angrily retort that at least she maintains an air of class like a crown princess should. This contrast of perspective fuels a rivalry between the Juraian and the sorceress.
      • Akasha would like to capture Ayeka and try and make her a disciple, as she figures that taking a Juraian Crown Princess as her underling would do great for business. Mileena, meanwhile, wants to share a "dance" with Ayeka and see how much the battle can exhilarate the two of them before either eliminating her or handing her to Akasha. Ayeka wants nothing to do with either of these evil ladies.
      • Hearing that the Queen of Pain has a Good Counterpart in the form of two ordinary human women, Ayeka has visited Ally and Lisa to affirm her protection and offer any help they may need. Rumor exists that these visits also involve some practice for Tenchi...
      • (Haru Okumura)
    • (Mitsuru Kirijo)
  • Applies to Sasami:
    • Long before she and Ayeka came to Earth, Sasami actually took a critical fall at one point, and woke up fused with Tsunami, one of the Choushin goddesses. She believed that the real Sasami had died that day and that the link was the result of her being a clone made to continue Sasami's existence, and lived with a lingering fear that Ayeka would hate her if this were discovered. However, during a short stay at a house belonging to a human relative of Tenchi's, she tearfully broke down, at which point Tsunami appeared and explained that she was the real Sasami and the fusion had barely saved her life.
    • Sasami's role in the Love house is similar to that of a lady-in-waiting. While she knows she won't be the first one to land a mate, she doesn't lament her status, instead using her free time to fight evil.
    • Is a huge fan of Magical Girls, and has had dreams of being one. Those dreams came true in another dimension which may or may not have been created through her link with Tsunami. As such, she gets along famously with most of the Sailor Guardians, especially Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus, and Sailor Chibi Moon.
      • Happy to find out that Android 21 had paid her kindness forward and helped the Masaki House residents all ascend to the Pantheon, Chibiusa visited them and actually made fast friends with Sasami. While Sasami is rather sensible and wise beyond her apparent years and Chibiusa is more prone to getting into trouble, both of the centuries-old children met each other's personalities with ease. Usagi suggests Sasami may be a good influence on Chibiusa, while Ayeka worries the latter may happen instead.
      • Minako actually wants to help her discover a way to achieve the Pretty Sammy transformation in the Pantheon so that she can train her in using those powers for good.
    • (Steven Universe)
    • (Vivio Takamachi)
    • (Lacus Clyne)
  • Applies to Ryo-Ohki:
    • Aside from her typical cabbit form, she can also shapeshift into a powerful, ferocious red and black battleship, as well as a cat-skinned kid Ryoko lookalike. Apparently that latter form is also supposed to grow up into a partner for Tenchi somehow.
    • Usually greets Goku by biting at his orange gi, or, if he's not wearing it, his hair. Given his name and her love of carrots, this is not surprising.
    • (Luna)
    • (Morgana)
    • (Shantak-kun)
  • Applies to Mihoshi:
    • From the planet Seniwa, Mihoshi is a member of the prestigious Kuramitsu family, the second most powerful family in the Galactic Union behind only the Royal Family of Jurai. The Kuramitsu's primary locus of power is their leadership of the Galaxy Police, of which Mihoshi is a Detective First Class.
    • At first glance, Mihoshi usually appears to be nothing more than a Dumb Blonde who would just serve as The Millstone to any team around her, causing some to question how she could've ever made the Galaxy Police, let alone become a Detective First Class, even with her family ties. However, there is evidence of her being highly competent underneath all of the seeming stupidity, to the point that it's assumed her current state is the result of being overworked.
    • One piece of evidence of this comes from her tendency to leave highly detailed if unstructured reports, typically taking a while for her superiors to figure them out. For example, her report on the Kagato incident included details on the Jurai Royal Trees, for which it was made top secret with Jurai Intelligence. Another is the story of the "ultra-energy matter" caper, which, while highly exaggerated, does have its basis in fact.
    • In reality, what caused her downfall from one of the GP's finest officers was a mysterious incident that left her shell-shocked, rumored to be either a suicide attempt over a lost love or accidentally wandering into a distortion zone. Either way, she is now completely unable to focus on a single train of thought and her clumsiness has been the source of many small calamities. This at one point caused her to be demoted to Detective Second Class, though she later regained her rank alongisde Noike. What she lacks in coherence nowadays she makes up for in such sheer miraculous luck that it may in fact be a subconscious form of reality warping. Magneto in particular wonders if it might be connected to his daughter's ability to manipulate probability.
    • Despite agreeing with everyone else about the Androids, Mihoshi gets creeped out at the twins' coordination when they fight together, saying they look like one person in two when they're beating people up.
    • (Osaka)
    • (Caitlyn)
    • (Vi)
    • (Mako Mankanshoku)
  • Applies to Washu:
    • This harem outdoes any and all others in strangeness due to one simple reason. Everyone. Is. Related. And ironically, it's really through Washu that the dots can all be connected.
      • Sasami is assimilated with one of the Choushin, the three sister goddesses who created the Universe, the same goddess who basically powers Jurai thanks to a pact with an ancestor of its royal family. Washu herself is actually another of those same sister goddesses. She had sealed her powers and divine consciousness into three powerful gems and turned herself into a stray infant on an alien planet in order to relearn everything in hopes of proving the existence of a supreme being even above the Choushin. She and the sisters would finally discover this transcendent God upon seeing Tenchi's power and realizing he was its avatar.
      • During the relatively human life she gave herself for the sake of this experiment, Washu got married to and had a son with a Kuramitsu. However, the son was taken away from her due to her not being of a sufficient class status in society. She quietly angsts about it to this day, which may go towards explaining why she never makes a big deal out of being Mihoshi's great-great-grandmother.
      • Still desiring a family, Washu created Ryoko, Ryo-Ohki, and before them her evil protégé Kagato, all using a powerful aquatic species called Masu (pronounced Mass), who are basically living clumps of matter. Ryo-Ohki is a result of her mixing Masu with some type of mineral lifeform. Ryoko was made by her combining Masu with her own ovum, making her the space pirate's biological mother. This is why Ryoko is capable of handling the power of the gems. Kagato, meanwhile, was a clone of Washu's missing best friend who took on a male prototype body and rejected all female traits; said traits combined into the girl that would eventually become Noike.
    • (Winry Rockbell)
      • (Shou Tucker)
    • (Tony Stark)
    • (Tabane Shinonono)
    • (Android 16)
    • Often competes with Bulma to see who the best beautiful scientist genius is. This despite neither one of them wanting anything to do with the issue between the Saiyans and Jurai. Sometimes 21 will serve as a "referee" whenever they want to make a particular contest "official".
    • (Mugen Yoguruma)
    • (Morally Bankrupt Scientists)
    • It was easy to predict that Washu would join the list of maternal Pantheonic ladies who would take a motherly tone with Naruto Uzumaki. However, she would subvert that expectation. Particularly after seeing and learning about Naruto's actual mother Kushina, she expressed too much respect for the Red-Blooded Habanero, both as a mother and as a former jinchuriki, to ever overstep her bounds.
    • Became very good friends with fellow eccentric scientist Kisuke Urahara, though he's more of an inventor of things like her Universe self. Having bonded over a shared wacky sense of humor, they often trade knowledge back and forth, case and point being him telling her about Shukuro Tsukishima and Xcution. When she told him about the Choushin and the higher dimensions, he mused about comparing Kami Tenchi to the Soul King. Washu assures him there is a world of difference.
    • (Dexter)
    • (Jade Curtiss)
  • Applies to Noike:
    • Noike is the adopted daughter of Seto Kamiki Jurai, one of the three higher princesses who behind the scenes possess even more authority than any of the emperors in their universe. In fact it was Lady Seto who had Noike go to the Masaki House with the news that she and Tenchi were in an Arranged Marriage. As things go, she scattered off intimidated by the engagement to an "amazing prince" only to run into Tenchi at the carrot fields and discover organically that the man she'd been betrothed to was a humble and kind boy.
    • While hard-edged and headstrong, Noike is truly an earnest person, who could be a very good wife to someone who wasn't either afraid of her or looking to use her. Unfortunately, that type of man was hard to find in her world, which is part of the reason her adopted mother set her up with Tenchi. The other part was the political need to keep the Masaki House in line and make sure the highest concentration of power in the universe operated as an actual family in a home instead of a bunch of extremely powerful psychological cases living under a roof on an underdeveloped planet. Her ability to get them all to start doing chores properly and cut down on the hectic in-house brawls has impressed many housekeepers and homemakers, and Flonne considers it a victory that she truly did fall in love with Tenchi as well.
    • Noike is actually the "female half" of Kagato. When the Naja clone took on a male body and discarded the remnants of any female traits he may have had, the remnants formed into a little girl. After being rescued by Tenchi, whose mind had drifted in time, the girl was sent back to the past and later experimented on in a procedure that would regress her into a baby, but had the effect of splitting her memories of her origin into a separate astral consciousness, leaving her a clean slate. Is able to empathize with Sophie and X-23 over these issues.
      • That said, she's past angsting about her origin and childhood. Not only did she meet and come to terms with the "mother" who had put her up for adoption as a child during a Galaxy Police deployment, she later merged with the female Kagato consciousness thanks to Washu breaking a seal that had prevented them from doing so. The consciousness is also very encouraging with regards to Tenchi.
    • As a strong and competent police officer associated with outer space, she is fielding offers from both Aqua, one of the Delta Cops associated with the 42nd Command Team, and Sailor Pluto, the core member of the Pantheonic Time Police linked to the Door of Space-Time.

  • Conflicting Opinion:
  • One day, while taking a drink at Moe's Tavern, Vincent mused about the Stray Sheep back home. One thing led to another, and am envoy of the Court decided to visit the bar. They found the barkeep to be a target of interest, and invited him to join the Pantheon. For reasons only he knows, Boss accepted offer.
    • That said, he shortly realized what he was ascended for: Saying Too Much, when he accidentally tipped his hand to Vincent about his schemes when the guy was just asking about Catherine's existence or what he did to Rin. This ended up tipping off Vincent to his plots as well.
    • Additionally, because he cannot be merely called Boss (due to how many others bear the same moniker), his given name Thomas Mutton was rendered public knowledge. Anything else about him is from hearsay, Vincent, or Thomas himself.
  • His temple takes the form of his Stray Sheep bar, and doubles as a pseudo-gateway for Vincent's friends to visit him, as it's "connected" to the one in his home realm.
  • As it turns out, the envoy who invited Thomas to the Pantheon in the first place had ulterior motives for ascending him; to let Princess Cadance "tear him a new one" as she had said she would do when she heard of Vincent's nightmares. And that's exactly what she did, after making sure her husband ensures that no one else would be intervening.
  • Despite what he's done, Thomas is not the mastermind behind the Nightmares; that honor goes to Astaroth. Still, he shares the same motives; maintaining population growth and weeding out cheaters, betrayers, the deceitful, the non-commited, and homosexuals.
  • After hearing of what exactly his nightmares are like, a few folks are even asking him to send them those nightmares, too (it helps that Death Is Cheap in the Pantheon). Sometimes, that Rapunzel arcade game he has in the bar doesn't quite cut it.

Here is me doing my daily suggestions after ascending a profile.

  • Tethu, Tethi, and Esna, Divine Trio of Space Management Games - Ever Oasis is an action RPG that takes place in a world where species called Seedlings have an ability to make some sort of hometown known as oases with Water Spirits. However, the brother of Tethu/Tethi (depending on the gender you want to play as) gets kidnapped and his oasis was destroyed thanks to a corrupted being known as Chaos and seemingly, it seems the Water Spirits became extinct except for Esna. Together with her, you are tasked to create your own oasis and find residents from different species such as Seedlings (the ones you need to have because they're the ones that have shops that will keep your oasis going) to keep your oasis going and defeat Chaos. Now, this is the problem, if you have so much shops, you need to delete ones to get new shops from new Seedling residents since the space will become limited the more shops you have and those certain shops will guarantee you to get new residents if you have those shops in place. Also where to place them will give them maximum effect and plans will boost their sales, which means you have to think carefully on what you should do. A mechanic known as Oasis Morale serves as the health of the oasis and you need to give stocks to the shops to boost the morale and getting more profit as you level up the shops, otherwise, their health will be low if the shopkeepers and/or residents from different species will be your party members in exploring the outside world, out-of-stock shops will lower the morale and the earnings of your oasis. Also, there are festivals regarding certain shops, but it is guaranteed they will make the shops out of stock, which means, you have to prepare early stocks early on. Also, there's a garden, which I seemingly forgot, where seedlings who don't have shops will work on the garden, but it's space is also limited.

@SUPERWIKI - Still ongoing eh? I've stated my options before, but to reiterate (And probably with differences)...

  • Caretakers: Death of the Endless, The Monitor, The Dahaka, Mothra
  • Figures: Godzilla, Gaea, Yui Ikari, Mickey Mouse, Sonic the Hedgehog
  • Foes: Archaon, The Anti-Spiral, Thanos, Father, Frieza

Note that I'm usually trying to avoid those who represent a House so as to give those in Sub-Houses a time to shine (They're still good choices BTW).

I made a couple more interactions for this.

Chocolat Meilleur and Vanilla Mieux, Holy Partakers of the Magical Girl Queenliness Test

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zetjiasu.jpg
  • [tup]s:
  • Intended House: Narrative Settings
  • Rank: Demigoddesses
  • Symbol: The hearts they collect
  • Theme: Chocolate ni Muchuu
  • Alighment: Chaotic Neutral bordering on Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Tomboy and Girly Girl, Red Oni, Blue Oni, have Familiars
  • Domains: Sweets, Love, Magic, Royalty
  • High Priests: Meg and Non
  • Allies: Akko Kagari, Marisa Kirisame, Sora, Sailor Moon, The Kira Kira Pretty Cures
  • Enemies: The Wicked Witch of the West, Ansem
  • Chocolat and Vanilla are a pair of witches from another dimension. Both were considered candidates for rulership and the title of Queen, and were sent to Earth to gather "hearts", which are the physical manifestation of how humans feel towards their lovers. Whomever collected the most would become Queen.
    • The gods discovered two timelines of their story. One ended with Vanilla becoming Queen, while the other ended with Chocolat becoming Queen. The versions brought into the Pantheon appear to have memories from both timelines and have come to terms with both of the outcomes. Not to mention they’re still good friends regardless of who wins.
  • Originally, the trope for Magical Girl Queenliness Test was intended to go to Meg Kanzaki and her rival Non. That was until the gods found something damning- Meg and Non both failed their test at the end of their tale and had to start again. While Meg and Non were being dismissed, a search was quickly held for anyone who actually accomplished their test. Chocolat and Vanilla eventually learned about this and both applied to the position, while Meg and Non were made their High Priests so as not to upset either of them.
  • Being Witches, they found common ground with other witches, such as Akko and Marisa. On the other hand, they found the Wicked Witch of the West absolutely abhorrent and vowed to fight against her.
  • The fact that they collect hearts made Sora interested in them, seeing as how hearts are similar to souls in his universe. For their part, they think Sora is a good ally.
    • However, they detest his enemies like Ansem, who are only interested in the darker side of hearts.
  • Sailor Moon was confused by the duo, thinking they were very similar to the schemes of her various enemies. However, Chocolate pointed out that collecting hearts was entirely harmless compared to the evil plans of her enemies. Thus, they became good friends with Usagi.
  • As they are partially based off of sweet foods, they get along just fine with the Kira Kira Pretty Cures, and are some of the most frequent patrons at their cafe.
