Greater Gods

    Bacchus
Bacchus, God of Power Through Liquor (The God of Wine, Dionysus)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bacchus_5650.png
  • Greater God
  • Symbol: His wine jug and a wreath of grapes
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Ancient Grome, The Alcoholic, Drunken Master, Booze-Based Buff, Gasshole, Big Fun / Acrofatic, Wild Hair, Badass Beard, Walking the Earth, Life of the Party
  • Domains: Wine, Intoxication, Parties
  • High Priest: Bo Rai Cho
  • Followers: Chin Gentsai, Shun Di, Fujisawa Masamichi, many many fratboys
  • Allies: Zeus, Hercules, Doctor Wong Fei-Hung, Jackie Chan, Tony Stark, Elvis Presley, Moe Syzlak, Pinkie Pie, Cayden Cailean
  • Rivals:
  • Enemies: Hera, Both Hades, Ares, Dolores Umbridge, Agatha Trunchbull
  • A loud rumble was heard at the Main Gates that signalled the arrival of a new deity. Pinkie Pie and the rest of the welcoming committee set up the party in preparation and waited for the Gates to open. The Gates were thrown open as a deluge of wine flooded the entire entry area and the greeters were swept away. Very bad drunken singing was then heard as a very large man riding a makeshift boat made from a wine cask sailed in, holding a familiar purple wine jug and a large turkey leg. Zeus could only facepalm and shake his head. Bacchus had arrived.
  • Kratos often wondered where the God of Wine was as he never saw his alternate persona at Olympus when he stormed it. Bacchus merely replied he was on a tour of Southeast Asia and China. Being prone to Walking the Earth to spread the “Mysteries of the Vine” obviously saved him from being affected by the evils of Pandora’s Box when it was opened. Still, Bacchus sees the Ghost of Sparta as a good adversary, much to the warrior’s disgust at his behavior.
  • Just because he drinks his immortal life away doesn't make him a pushover, one chug of his wine jug powers him up depending on how drunk he is. His attacks not just get stronger, but his... abilities get powered-up as well. Beware.
  • He is a very welcome deity at the House of Love as one sip of his Wine is able to disinhibit even the most steadfast of heart and soul. Many a Casanova and/or Lovable Sex Maniac wait in anxious anticipation for Bacchus to appear with his Wine to start the party. Unfortunately, even when thoroughly drunk, nobody wants to bed down with Zapp Brannigan.
    • Even when his parties don’t have a romantic tendency, they are still wild and crazy. After all, he didn’t coin the term “Bacchanal” for nothing!
  • Bacchus may specialize in Wine, but he doesn’t shy away from other alcoholic drinks. He was able to guzzle down five Pan-Galactic Gargle Blasters and still craved more. Moe told him he already took too many, which Bacchus objected. He still ended up in his Wall of Fame for his troubles.
    • He gets along spectacularly with many other alcoholic gods, which all benefit from his Mysteries of the Vine, as they sometimes are able to relieve their stress. Quite a successful ritual, if there ever was one.
  • He tends to get into many drinking matches with several gods. However, the one god he considers an equal is Dr. Fei-Hung, as he once visited the Drunken Master in an earthly guise and found he could keep up with him in the drinking category. Bacchus places his friendship with the Tenth Tiger as with his master, Solinus.
  • Even though he is a friendly sort, he has nothing but spite for certain classic gods, particularly Hera (since being another of Zeus’s illegitimate children, she made his mother vow Zeus into seeing him in all his godly splendor causing her to disintegrate), Ares (as Bacchus thinks wars could be easily solved by a good session of the Mysteries of the Vine) and both Hades (the main one is a major wet blanket as the dead are unable to get drunk and the version known to Pit is an unrepentant jerkass).
    • He also loathes Umbridge and Trunchbull, as he considers them the ultimate party poopers with strict discipline towards students (his favorite followers). Whereas Peter Griffin he considers a dark representation of his good drinking buddy and rival, Homer Simpson.
  • The King of Rock and Roll was slightly bemused when Bacchus actually dressed up as him. Then again, Elvis has many many impersonators so one more couldn’t hurt.
    • On the same subject, Freya had to take a super-dose of Forget-Me-Shots from Moe after seeing Bacchus in the outfit of a Valkyrie.
  • "I need a drink!"

    Choji Akimichi
Chōji Akimichi, God of Dangerous Power-Up Foods (Choji, Chouji, Sixteenth Head of the Akimichi)

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: The Akimichi Clan symbol
  • Theme Song: His theme
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Dangerous Power-Up Foods, Acrofatic, Beware the Nice Ones, Big Eater, Big Fun, The Big Guy, Be the Ball, Can convert his calories into chakra, by consuming special food pills, Butterfly motif, Gentle Giant, Sixteenth Head of the Akimichi Clan, Can alter his size, Lightning Bruiser, Hates not getting the last piece of a meal, Can enter Butterfly Mode
  • Domain(s): Ninjutsu, Expansion, Food Pills, Calories
  • Herald: Chocho Akimichi (his daughter)
  • Allies:
  • Friendly Rivalry: Bob Richards, Rufus, Po
  • Enemies: All evil deities in the House of Food
  • Complicated Relationship: Sima Shi
  • Born into the Akimichi Clan, Choji is slated to become the Sixteenth Head of the clan. As a child, he was often berated by his peers for not being good at a child's game called "Ninja" and, one day, they simply refused to let him play at all. However, Shikamaru Nara stuck up for him and, although Choji was still not allowed to play, he and Shikamaru became best friends. After graduating from the Academy, Choji was assigned to Team 10 and became teammates with Shikamaru and a girl named Ino Yamanaka. Together, the three became the sixteenth generation of the Ino-Shika-Cho Trio. Following the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War, Choji married Karui, a kunoichi from Kumogakure, and the two had a daughter, Chocho.
  • Choji originally ascended into the pantheon as a follower of Globox. Eventually, Choji was allowed to ascend as a god after Shikamaru put in a good word for him. The two had a heartfelt reunion and celebrated Choji's ascension by getting some snacks and spending the rest of the day watching clouds as they ate the snacks.
  • Choji is occasionaly seen being dragged away from the House of Food by his wife Karui. Choji is also training to usurp Hinata's title of Legendary Glutton Queen. Naruto knows that it's not gonna happen.
  • Choji is good friends with Obelix, who is also a former follower of Globox and shares Choji's dislike of being called fat. The two are often seen together in the House of Food, trying out each other's respective favorite meals.
  • Once challenged Monkey D. Luffy to a fight and lost, as Monkey can also expand and stretch his body. Of course, things looked up for Choji when Luffy told him his secret of winning: "MEAT! Lots and lots of Meat!". Choji made a new friend that day, and it helps that Chocho likes Monkey as well.
  • Choji is also friends with Edmond Honda, respecting his strength and determination. Edmond was surprised and annoyed to discover that sumo wrestlers in Choji's world went around attacking shinobi and samurai and one group even attempted to overtake Konohagakure during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Regardless, the two get along very well and are often seen hanging out. Choji has also developed a fondness of Honda's chanko stew.
  • Choji has developed a friendly rivalry with other heavyweight (yet athletic) fighters such as Bob Richards, Rufus and Po. He was especially quite impressed to hear about Bob's diet regiment, which helps him maintain his figure. Choji tried it out for awhile, but ultimately stopped as it prevented him from eating his favorite food as well as the fact that he didn't really need a diet due to his techniques consuming the calories in his body.
  • Due to his fear of lizards, Choji generally avoids the House of Reptiles as much as possible. The only deities from that House that he gets along with are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, whom he initially believed to be summons from his world.
  • He's noticed that his Japanese voice sounds like those of Thomas Richard Shubaltz and X. The three of them get along quite well and occasionally team up against threats.
  • He opposes all of the evil deities in the House of Food, as he strongly dislikes the fact that they make large eaters such as himself look bad.
  • Choji's relationship with Sima Shi tends to vary depending on circumstance. The two intially got along well and talked about their favorite food. However, their pleasant conversation turned into an all-out battle when they noticed that there was only one meatbun left and they both strongly insisted on being the one to eat it. After the fight was broken up, the two have agreed to eat seperately from then on, but are otherwise still on friendly terms.

    Dark Samus
Dark Samus, Goddess of Phlebotinum Consumption and Overloading (Metroid Prime, The Worm, The Dark Hunter, The Black Demon, Phazon Incarnate)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ssbu_darksamus.png
  • Intermediate Goddess, Greater Goddess after absorbing enough Phazon
  • Symbol: Her glowing blue visor
  • Theme Music: Dark Samus Approaching, Dark Samus Boss Theme, Evacuate/Dark Samus Battle 3, Brinstar Depths (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate version)
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: The games' titular main foe, Abosorbing technology into itself, Power floats, Coming back from certain death from even the smallest amounts of Phazon, Putting heroes and villains alike under her thumb, Going from a limited to galactic scale threat via cunning scheming, Needs Phazon in order to survive, Vulnerable to the Phazon they use and spread
  • Domains: Corruption, Doppelgängers, Absorption, Madness
  • Allies: Phazon, Grima, The Gravemind, SpaceGodzilla
  • Enemies: Samus Aran, Anthony Higgs, The Metroid Hatchling, Mega Man, most Nintendo deities
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Ridley, Mother Brain, The SA-X
  • Following the arrival and subsequent sealing of Phazon, reports started to come in that Samus, though with different armor coloration that seemed organic, had repeatedly been trying to gain entry to the impact crater where the Leviathan rested. It quickly became apparent that it wasn’t the bounty hunter when she tore right through the barrier and began to gorge upon any Phazon in sight, only stopping when it was driven away by Samus herself. She confirmed that the being was Dark Samus, one of her greatest foes and the one responsible for the Phazon Incident.
  • Even if they may resemble one another, Dark Samus is NOTHING like her heroic counterpart. Cold, merciless, manipulative, and driven by the single desire of consuming Phazon, the Dark Hunter will tear through anything that stands between her and her ambitions, using and throwing away allies if it means more Phazon for herself. She continually breaches the seal around the Leviathan just to consume the sustenance present there, but more serious schemes involve trying to outright destroy the barrier in order to spread Phazon across the Pantheon.
  • Acts as the representative and voice of Phazon, carrying out its will of corrupting and subjugating all life. Granted, she isn’t one for actually speaking that much and the vocalizations she DOES make aren’t exactly that of a sane person, especially when she’s low on Phazon. However, once she’s acquired enough to become more mentally stable, Dark Samus becomes very powerful, capable of taking over minds, formulating complex strategies, and is generally more cunning.
  • DO NOT get between her and any bit of Phazon that she's focused on, especially when she's hungry. Unless someone is absolutely capable of successfully fighting off the Black Demon, it's advised to just allow her to eat her fill until she moves on. She's content to let any trespassers go as long as they don't bother her, but the moment they prove to be a threat or put themselves between her and lunch, things go downhill FAST.
  • While he sees Phazon as an effective tool of conquest, Ridley is not as enthusiastic about the presence of the Dark Hunter. He hasn’t forgotten her attacks on the Space Pirate forces, culminating in their subjugation and him being pumped with enough Phazon to become a Leviathan Guardian. The ONLY reason they even work together is their shared hatred of Samus.
    • Despite not being around at the time, Mother Brain shares the sentiment with the dragon. The Space Pirates are HERS to command and she will not tolerate the Dark Hunter's usurpation, but if it means Samus' demise, then so be it.
    • Though she and the SA-X don't see eye to eye, primarily over the issue of Dark Samus' Metroid-based origins, the two are content to leave the other alone for now.
  • Dark Samus is actually the current form of Metroid Prime, The Worm of Chozo lore. Once a simple Metroid on Tallon IV, the Leviathan that impacted the planet chose to make this particular specimen its Guardian. It didn’t work out well for the core in the end, as it severely underestimated the near-infinite appetite of the creature. It wasn’t until decades later that Samus finally put an end to the Worm, but not before the core essence of the creature absorbed her Phazon Suit, reborn as Dark Samus.
  • While not quite as unkillable as Ridley, Dark Samus is still very much a pain to get rid of. Even being in an imploding alternate universe didn't keep her down long. She's capable of completely regenerating from a single Phazon cell, and it was only with the original destruction of Phaaze, where all Phazon in the universe was destroyed with its origin, that Dark Samus finally fell for good.
  • Normal weaponry is capable of injuring her, but not to the level of permanent damage since she'll just regenerate any wounds. Because of Dark Samus' unstable physiology, only Phazon is capable of causing serious harm. This has put many heroes in the uncomfortable position of having to possibly resort to using the very substance they are opposed against in order to combat her.
  • Within a certain gathering of warriors, Dark Samus is able to be summoned, dispatching opponents with quick and powerful Phazon-based attacks.
  • Because of her ravenous nature, Dark Samus was briefly considered to be a part of the House of Food, but since that would have required Phazon to have been present within the house for consumption, this was quickly thrown out.
  • When she heard that Samus had ambushed Mega Man and engaged him in a fight, Dark Samus was curious, wondering if she had contracted Phazon Madness, leading to her change in behavior. She was sorely disappointed when it turned out to be the SA-X instead, with the real Samus jumping in to save the robot. At the very least, she respects the X-Parasite's efforts and, despite her remaining Metroid instincts demanding that she destroy it, leaves it to its own devices. It doesn't bother her, she won't reduce it to a fine paste.
    • Still, the fact that Mega Man could hold his own against the SA-X caught her attention. After all, Phazon can corrupt and turn machines as well...
  • Recently, Dark Samus has shown a disturbing interest in Mogo, observing the living planet from a distance. If Phaaze is to be manifested within the Pantheon, it would be only fitting for Mogo to act as the new heart of Phazon.
  • With the ascension of Samus' infant Metroid, Dark Samus has made several attempts to reach out to it in hopes of gaining its allegiance and turning it against its mother-figure. It usually ends with the Dark Hunter being plowed through several walls by the very large Metroid, but even then, she sincerely hopes that she can gain the Hatchling as an ally, as she does not wish to harm a fellow Metroid. Of course, forcibly giving it the gift of Phazon is not out of the equation...

    Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk
Jennifer Walters, Goddess of Superhuman Transfusions (She-Hulk, Jen, Shulkie, The Second Strongest One There Is, The Strong Arm of Justice)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/she-hulk_vol1_no1_7112.jpg
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: A Muscular Green Arm
  • Theme Song: Her Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Theme
  • Alignment: Neutral Good (She's strayed away from Lawful recently, much to the consternation of the bar exam)
  • Portfolio: Amazonian Beauties, Action Girls, The Benefits of Gamma Radiation, Steel Boobs, Fistfights, Boisterous Bruiser, Nigh-Invulnerability, Conscientious Clothing, Leotards, Being Cursed with Awesome and Loving it
  • Domains: Law, Protection, Good, Strength
  • Allies:
  • Rivals: Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Phoenix Wright, Clint Barton/Hawkeye
  • Enemies: Cain Marko/Juggernaut
  • Admired by: Johnny Bravo, Zapp Brannigan
  • Opposes: Raditz
  • Once a mild-mannered lawyer, she was severely wounded by a crime boss. With no other blood type around, She got a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner with an unusual side effect. She is now able to transform to the voracious bombshell known as the Savage She-Hulk. She proved to be more versatile with her transformations, being able to change at will as well as keep control of her alter ego.
  • As much screening as she does, most of her clients are actually guilty, and since they usually get unruly, she often beats them up. She doesn't think in terms of winning or losing a case. Justice was served! Time to go by the House of Defense and fight evil!
  • Is lawyer buddies with Matt Murdock who share similar goals. That friendship ends when they compete for clients... and especially when they are on opposite sides of the law.
  • Claims to have broken the Fourth Wall before it was cool. When Deadpool expressed criticism, she responded by beating him with her own health bar. While she doesn't show it as often as before, She-Hulk isn't afraid to use that knowledge to her advantage.
    • When Sailor Chibi Moon and Ajani Goldmane approached her to contribute to the creation of an Earthling Soul meant to enter the Dragon World, it was precisely because her knowledge of the Fourth Wall could provide a means of communication (and because she was more stable than Deadpool). This Soul ended up discovering the secret of a Red Ribbon creation called Android 21, who struggles to control not a creature of rage like Bruce's Hulk, but a devastatingly evil omnivore persona.
  • Gets along well with Power Girl. They share a number of portfolios. They also sigh when their fans try to justify them in a relationship.
  • Unlike most other female superheroes, She-Hulk boasts a sex life that rivals many of her male counterparts. She's also not above complimenting one's physique. Jen may be offputting to some, but she was glad to see plenty of Amazon Chasers to bed. Not even warning them that her body could crush suitors to death deters those few.
    • With that said... do not mention that she slept with Juggernaunt. There was no way she would date with someone who constantly tries to kill her cousin. Chuck Austen is the only person who things that they could ever be a thing.
    • Is also the target of a couple of Casanova Wannabes. Johnny Bravo was first on the scene asking for a trip to his house. She-Hulk agreed…if he could beat her in arm wrestling. The match lasted 10 seconds…and only because she let him last as long. The impact threw Johnny through a wall, breaking several bones in the process.
    • Zapp hoped that his departure from the House of Lust would deliver him better results in the bedroom. Not in Jennifer's case, especially when she found out how he treated Leela. She sent him packing shortly afterwards.
    • Caught the Saiyan Raditz hitting not on her, but on her friends Power Girl (through a compliment from afar) and Android 21 (by asking to be her assistant almost as soon as she ascended). Jen isn't sure why he's suddenly doing this, but she's preemptively sent the message telling him in clear terms not to even try with her.
  • Once had a Totally Radical phase in the 80's. She's not sure what to think of that era. It was fun at times and annoying at others.
  • Is one of the few heroes in the Pantheon who truly sympathize with Hank Pym's plight over his incident with Janet. She also has to deal with those who want her to return to her 'Savage' days and other bouts of Character Derailment.
  • Has a rather... colorful history with Hawkeye. In the old days, the two hardly ever got along leading to plenty of bickering. Things improved when Clint mellowed out a bit.
  • Is an honorary member of the Fantastic Four when she filled in for the Thing when the later took a break from superheroics.
  • Made a shocking appearance in the Fate of Two Worlds incident, where she had a blast seeing many new faces:
    • When Hsien-Ko lamented the state of her family, She-Hulk opened up about her own crazy state of affairs. The Chinese Vampire was surprised, but appreciated the effort to make her feel better.
    • When she first entered the scene, people were already calling her 'female Phoenix Wright'. She usually called an ambulance after that. But once the Crusading Lawyer made an appearance in the Pantheon, things took an interesting turn. Jennifer insistent that he becomes her rival in the courtroom, an idea Phoenix Wright initially balked at. But when she started poaching clients, Mr. Wright decided to play along. Those hoping that these two fight will be disappointed; both lawyers knew it would be a Curbstomp Battle.
    • Is a fan of Mayor Haggar's methods of ruling his city. She even flirted with becoming an attorney for Metro City. It would be yet another city where she can kick your ass on the street and in the courtroom.
    • States that Chun-Li has more in common with her than she would think. Both have had to take things outside of the law to get things done. Though don't say that Chun-Li could beat her in a battle; Jennifer insists that the police officer is a bit below her weight class. The hasn't stopped Chun-Li from challenging her to fights.
  • The death of her cousin Bruce rocked her hard, becoming a grey version of herself much like Joe Fixit. Only this time, she is more vulnerable to fits of rage. The jury's still out whether people prefer this version of her.
  • Was delighted with the ascension of her best friend Patsy Walker, who she even employed as an investigator for a while and has been known to keep the wild, grey She-Hulk under control. They hang out for drinks and karaoke in their off-time.

    Kosh
Kosh, God of Divine Empowerment
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kosh.jpg
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: A Three-Edged Sword
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Divine Empowerment, Sufficiently Advanced Aliens, Koshisms, factual, but utterly useless answers, Energy Being, The Mentor, The Ageless, Ambadassador, "Who are you", Sufficiently Advanced Aliens, Organic Technology, Ancient Astronauts, Choosing to be Good
  • Domains: Law, Protection, Planning, Mind.
  • Allies: Lorien, Geo Stelar, J'onn J'onnz
  • Acquaintance: Capsuleers
  • Opposes: Grand United Alliance of Chaos, Grand United Allianceof Law
  • Enemies: Daleks
  • Kosh was ascended after he was killed for interfering with an ancient game of Order vs. Chaos, by allowing one of his followers an edge. He was happy, nevertheless to see that John Sheridan succeeded in ending the millions of years of conflict between the Shadows and Vorlons, even as the last of his essence in his universe aided Sheridan in killing Ulkesh, his replacement.
  • Don't try to get a straight answer out of him. He'll either give one of his trademark Koshisms or something that actually says nothing.
  • He usually keeps to himself, but he can frequently be found in unexpected places around the Pantheon, but, again, he never talks about it unless directly questioned, and then his responses usually raise more questions. Nevertheless, he always seems to have an ear out on goings on in the Pantheon, even when he is seemingly ignorant of said events, even making plans of his own separate from everyone else.
"God works in mysterious ways. But he's a con-man compared to the Vorlon".
    • His apparent knowledge of events he has no part of may stem from his ability to place a piece of his essence into someone able to host it, who then brings it back to him so he can attain the knowledge of what that piece of himself has seen. No one is entirely sure which people in the Pantheon have been chosen by Kosh for this endeavor.
  • Though considered Lawful Good, if it comes down to it he seems more likely to lean toward good. His compassion for the Younger Races led him to break the rules of engagement between Shadows and Vorlons, which led to him being killed.
  • He joined alongside Lorien in the Grand United Alliance of Good, recognizing within the Alliances of Law and Chaos the same flaws that once existed in the Vorlons and Shadows, and wishes to guide those in the Alliance of Good to make sure they do not stray from the path.
  • Kosh is one of the few aliens in the Pantheon who possesses a ship that utilizes Organic Technology, making him and his vessel a target for those who would wish to steal Vorlon technology for themselves. To date, no one has ever succeeded in acquiring this technology. Even A few Capsuleers tried, only to find Kosh's ship boasts enough firepower to take out even Capital-class star-ships. Kosh bears no ill-will, just so long as they do not try it again.
  • Kosh has made it clear his perception of those who seek immortality, as he believes that immortality is only something that should come to a race naturally, rather than be attained through artificial means, be they immoral or otherwise.
"You are not ready for immortality".
  • Curiously, he is often seen visiting the Music Pantheon, usually whenever there is a performance of Latin Choir music. Some will even swear he slowly bobs his head to the music.
    "One moment of perfect beauty".
  • YHVH took personal offense at the Vorlon projecting himself as an angelic being of light to the Younger Races. Only because he hates the idea of someone opposed to him taking on the image of an angel. Kosh, for his part, disapproves of YHVH's hard-line philosophy of Order, and he only ever appears in the Pantheon in his natural state: a squid-like energy being.
  • J'onn J'onnz has a complicated relationship with Kosh, as it was revealed that the source of sentient telepaths outside the First Ones in Kosh's home universe were seeded across hundreds of worlds by the Vorlons as a means to help fight against the Shadows in the next great war. Kosh has assured J'onn that the Vorlons could not have seeded telepathy among the Martian race, and even offered to free J'onn of his Pyrophobia, while keeping the Burning Martian inside him in check. J'onn declined, but nevertheless considers Kosh to be an ally.
    • This makes J'onn one of the main suspects as being one who is a vessel of Kosh's essence, since it is known that being the vessel of a Vorlon gives many advantages, including an immunity to high-level telepathy, or improved telepathy.

    Marceline the Vampire Queen
Marceline The Vampire Queen, Goddess of Power Gaining via Cannibalism (Marcie, Mar-Mar, call her that at your own peril)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/marceline_abadeer_by_dcrmx_d7054l9.jpg
  • Intermediate Goddess (Greater Goddess when she fully utilized her absorbed demonic and vampiric powers, Could become an Overdeity if she wears her father's amulet or absorb enough powerful beings)
  • Symbol: Her axe-bass, alternatively her Her childhood teddy bear, Hambo
  • Theme Song: Fry Song, I'm Just Your Problem, and Everything Stays
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good, sometimes Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Once dated Princess Bubblegum in the past, Now 1003 years old, Having a unique friendship with Finn and Simon, Vegetarian Vampire, Gain powers through absorbing souls, "Special Fan Attention", Extremely Popular Character, went from a Human-Demon Hybrid to, a very unique Vampire-Demon Hybrid, The Axe Bass Guitar, Having a terrible, and friendless backstory, Voluntary Shapeshifting, Having ways to Deal with sunlight
  • Domains: Vampires, Demons, Abandonment, Bisexuality, Soul Absorption
  • Herald: Hunson Abadeer (her father)
  • Followers: Quina
  • Allies:
  • Friendly Rivals: Buffy Summers, Elite Tauren Chieftain, Haruko Haruhara
  • Feared by: Most Redheaded Deities
  • Enemies: The Lich, Masato Kusaka/Kamen Rider Kaixa, Embryo, Raynare, Sekai Saionji, Yuuki Temuri, Ragyo Kiryuin, Charles zi Britannia, Raul Menendez, Gul'dan, Incubators, Some evil Vampire Deities, The Evil-Aligned deities in the House of Music, Love, Friendship, and Family.
  • Opposes: Abusers, especially abusive love interests or family members, Mandy, Albedo, Father, Grandma Stuffum, The Perfect Trumpet Thingy, Mojo-Jojo, Princess Morbucks, Randall Ross, Eustace Bagge, Chris Mclean
  • Opposed by: Some members of the House of Ghost, Family, and Music
  • Pities: Madoka Kaname and Homura Akemi, Lucy, Makoto Itou
  • Conflicting Opinion on: Billy, Benson, Rolf, Steve Small, Jin Kisaragi, Tsubaki Yayoi
  • Finally ascended into the Pantheon after dealing with her issues in regards to her being a vampire and dealing with 5 powerful vampires that she faced in the past and indirectly resurrected after Princess Bubblegum removed her vampiric essence. The result of spending the entire 8-part miniseries has caused her to have some Character Development in regards to her status as a vampire before eventually turning back into a vampire once more.
  • Needless to say, the ascended Adventure Time deities are very happy that Marcie is now part of the Pantheon, although she is somewhat upset that it took over 6 seasons to finally ascend. Better late than never.
    • They're also fully aware that Marceline's voice actress, Olivia Olson, has confirmed that she and Bubblegum used to date in the past. When asked, the two blushed heavily.
  • Apparently, Marceline has a huge grudge with Masato Kusaka. The reason, he reminds her so much of her ex-boyfriend Ash, right down to sharing some personality traits (Being total jerks to everyone but a very select few, discriminating and sometimes harming anyone that is part of a different species ["Mere Mortals" for Ash, and Non-Humans for Kusaka], not caring how their actions cause problems to those around them, using deceitful means to claim their love interests, and especially barely treating their respective love interests like they're normal people.) Let's just say that Marcie retaliated against Kusaka's racist-based actions in a very big way when they first crossed paths.
  • Marcie is a very unique vampire as while most regular vampires drink blood for nourishment, she only needs to drink anything that has the color red. This kind of ability allows her to form a friendship with Rachel Alucard, who shares common ground in regards to their vampire status.
    • Unfortunately for Marcie, this causes any deities who have either red or pink colored hair to tread carefully at her presence as they don't want to see what happens when she craves anything of said colors, much to Marceline's dismay.
  • Apparently, Some of the evil members of The House of Ghost believed that they can easily defeat Marceline due to the whole Rock-Paper-Scissors-Based Weakness between Vampires, Ghosts, and an unknown race. Unfortunately for them, this kind of weakness only happens in her own home universe, so Marcie has nothing to worry about with these kind of ghosts in this Pantheon. The fact that she can absorb the souls of powerful foes also frightens said evil ghosts.
    • It's also in her time regarding the House of Ghost that she made friends with Casper, Gengar, Youmu Konpaku, Yuyuko Saigyouji, Sayo Aisaka; As they are way more nicer than the 3 ghost friends that she had during that time she and her buddies watched the "Heat Signature" movie.
  • She has made friends and allies with some of the more friendly vampires in the Pantheon. Aside from Rachel Alucard, There's Adrian Fahrenheight Tepes, who is also a friendly vampire with Daddy Issues; Arcueid Brunestud, another friendly, non-blood sucking vampire of royal descent; Gasper Vladi, who she sympathizes over having a terrible childhood; Remilia and Flandre Scarlet, for both being powerful, having similar shapeshifting powers, Being immature at their long age, and being awesome; Tsukune Aono and Moka Akashiya, for having a better chance in having a strong interracial bond just like her and Finn; Valvatorez, for having the same level of companionship with his friends just as much as hers, along with dealing with both the the negative effects of war and beating very powerful beings despite being weakened; Sorin Markov since he can use magic just like her; and Evangeline/Yukihime over how to deal with the downside of being immortal. It's because of their new friendship that they team up together to take down some of the more evil vampires in the pantheon.
  • While it's no secret that Marceline dislikes abusive love interests and abusive family members, the one abusive person that she DESPISES the most is Ragyo Kiryuin. Not only does she treat her daughters like either experimental lab-rats or sex toys, which brings shame and disgust to all of the good mothers like her late mother; but she also did all of this while sharing Finn's voice whenever she speak in Japanese. This results in her become friends and allies with Ragyo's daughters and their allies in dealing with Rainbow McFeelYouUp herself.
    • She also made enemies with Raul Menendez over how he cause everyone pain and misery over a CIA agent accidently killed his sister and how he messes with Finn, Bonnie, and Steven just for the fun of it; Yuuki Temuri over trolling pretty much everybody he cross paths with brutal results For the Evulz; Gul'dan over how he can control even the nicer demons, like herself, to cause as much trouble as possible; Raynare for scarring Issei in his romance life and killing Asia to get her Sacred Gear all while enjoying the aforementioned actions, Sekai Saionji, whose responses to Makoto either scorning her or having a different love interest by killing either Makoto or the romantic competitor, which even she reacts to disgust over these kinds of responses; and Embryo over how he causally treats destroying and recreating worlds like a game, along with treating "strong and independent" women like sex toys for him to enjoy, portraying humans who can't use magic as monsters and being willing to rape Ange just to make her his wife. For the last part, let's just say that Embryo realises that Marcie can use him as indestructible punching bag to keep her combat skills sharp due to how he can resurrect himself many times with no limits whatsoever.
  • She can be seen in the House of Music practicing her guitar skills with some of the House's nicer members. It was during her practice session in this house that she cross paths with both Haruko Haruhara and Elite Tauren Chieftain, who later became friends and rivals over how they use Guitars as weapons.
    • She also got into a Friendly Rivalry with Buffy Summers as they both know what it's like to deal with supernatural beings on a daily basis and how Buffy is aware of Marcie's childhood and the circumstances that led to her becoming a vampire. This make Marceline one of the very few vampires that Buffy won't slay (as Marcie herself was never a natural-born vampire to begin with.)
  • Marceline has also got along with Ichigo Kurosaki, Naruto Uzumaki, Bayonetta, Ange, Lelouch vi Britannia and Ragna the Bloodedge over some things that they all have in common.
  • She apparently feels pity to both Madoka Kaname AND Homura Akemi over how they failed to maintain their friendship due to Kyubey's manipulations and that they both remind her of both herself (for Homura) and Bonnibel Bubblegum (for Madoka). She and Bonnie hoped that they can restore their friendship back to the way it was, while giving the Incubators a a well-deserved payback.
    • Marcie also feels pity to Lucy after experiencing some much pain and trouble by humans over her horns and vectors, and Matoko Itou over how he can't be able to control himself in handling his romance life; both of which all happens thanks to their evil fathers not caring to them like any other normal dads did (At least her dad still care for her, as he did want Marcie to take over the family business).
  • As expected, Marceline tends to hang around with other Cartoon Network Deities. While she has an A-OK relationship with most of the CN Deities (Dexter, Dee-Dee, The Jelly Bean Scouts, Courage, The KND Sector V, The Residents of Fosters, and Coop) and a more terrible relationship with some of them (Billy and Mandy, Father, Grandma Stuffum, The Perfect Trumpet Thingy, Chris Mclean, and Eustace Bagge); each of her more major interactions happened as follows:
    • She apparently hit it off very well with the Eds as they are amazed at how awesome Marcie is when she uses her powers in many different ways and even willing to either help them out in their scams, or provide them with some Jawbreakers. Marcie is especially close to Eddy over how their early childhood is nothing but pain and sorrows thanks to their adult family members badly mistreating them [Eddy's Brother abusing Eddy For the Evulz and Hunson Abadeer neglecting Marcie while she was growing up after the events of the Mushroom War]. She also gives Sarah the benefit of doubt over her treatment on Ed, as well as threatening Rolf that if he tries to attack her while she is playing with wolves, then she will uses live sharks to whack him and his fish weapon down.
    • Buttercup is excited that how Marcie can be both scary and awesome at the same time. Marcie also found her, along with Blossom and Bubbles, to be very adorable and thus decided to join in on band practices, of which Marcie is surprised that how the PPG can play musical instruments without any fingers; and dealing with either Mojo-Jojo, or Princess Morbucks (Morbucks reminds her of the King of Ooo).
    • Jack sympathizes with her over how she had to learn how to fight and survive at a young age after losing her mother and being helpless in a post-apocalyptic world, much like how Aku has kidnapped his dad and he has to go around the world to learn every fighting technique and survival skills at a young age needed for him to deal with Aku once and for all. This greatly touched Marcie over this and thus formed a strong friendship where they sometimes spar together to be prepared for any threat that's coming for them.
    • Ben and his friends are impressed and amazed at many of her feats, not to mention how both Ben and Gwen both understand what it's like to have to deal with their fans pairing them up to nearly everyone they encounter (Ben and Gwen have it the worse since they're both cousins); along with both Kevin and Charmcaster over how the 3 of them tend to have some random changes in regards to their character alignments.
    • Mordecai and Rigby greatly bonded with the Vampire Queen over the fact that they tend to be slackers and almost always got involved in weird adventures. Mordecai and Marceline are also aware that their fans tend to pair them for either some kind of amusement, or as a means to give them a second shot at romance. She also identifies with Skips, as he too knows the complications of immortality and dealing with problems related to their love lives. Benson, however, is someone Marcie just can't easily get along with, despite having some good traits like some excellent drumming skills, due to her believing that he can do more than managing a simple park. Not to mention that Randall greatly angers her over how one loss at a volleyball game suddenly caused him to want to destroy all of time itself.
    • Gumball and his family also seem to like Marceline as she playd with the Watterson kids to keep their destructive habits under control, giving both Richard and Nicole relief. The Wattersons themselves are also unhappy at how Hunson hasn't been there for Marcie and her mom before the events of the Mushroom War as he reminds them of Franklin, Richard's father. Marcie also finds Mr. Small to be too obsessive in his nature-loving and non-meat eating habits.
    • Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems also got along with Marceline as she knows first-hand what it's like to hunt down the very beings that she used to be a part of, and how painful it is to lose someone very close in the distant past. The fact that the creator of the Crystal Gems' home series also provided a voice for Marceline's mother and writes all of their jams strengthens this friendship. Marcy has even strongly considered forming a supergroup with the two Universes.
  • The entire Pantheon rejoiced when she and Princess Bubblegum finally kissed during their ultimate adventure. The two are now officially dating again.
  • Can also be found at the House of Flesh Eaters.

    Mari McCabe/Vixen
Mari Jiwe McCabe, Goddess Of Gaining Powers From Artifacts (Vixen, The She-Fox, Marilyn McCabe, Mari Macabe)

  • Domains: Superheroines, Fashion Designers, Models
  • Powers Include: Animal Mimicry via the Tantu Totem
  • Allies:
  • Rivals: Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, Taokaka
  • Enemies:
  • Hot For: T'Challa/Black Panther
  • Odd Friendship: with Godzilla, King Kong and Rexie
  • Opposes: Any deity who poaches animals, as her mother was killed by poachers
  • Honorary Membership In: the Houses of Beast and Shape
  • I have all the powers of Africa now. From the fox to the elephant, from the spider to the man—I am the life of Africa—and I believe in life.
  • Oliver Queen had to pull some strings and call in several favors (and the threat of Dinah blowing out his eardrums providing him with enough incentive) to clear Mari McCabe's ascension to the Pantheon, but it was worth it. Plus, it kept him from sleeping on the couch. Again. Or as Canary puts it:
  • Zambezi in origin, Mari was the daughter of Reverend Richard Jiwe, the village priest and protector of the Tantu Totem, having lost her mother to poachers, led by Aku Kwesi. She would lose her father at the hands of his half-brother, General Maksai, who sought the Tantu Totem. Mari would flee to America to avoid being killed. Years later, Mari - now a wealthy businesswoman and model - returned to Africa, and after stealing back the Tantu Totem from her uncle, Vixen was born.
    • It's because of the latter that draws the attention of both Frank West and Krista Sparks, the second Dollface, the former due to scouting her for his PERFECT EROTICA spread, and the latter who sees her as an obstacle for her ultimate dream. Frank is now working on getting the DC heroines together for a photoshoot.
  • You know how Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing are both tuned to the Green? Mari (along with Beast Boy and Animal Man) are tuned to the Red, a force which connects and pervades all animal life and microorganisms in the universe, which Vixen can tap into via the Earth's morphogenetic field, even going as far as to harness the powers of extinct animals, and even mystical ones, like werewolves and dragons.
    • The main setback of Vixen's powers is that she becomes more animal and less human the longer she's in the morphogenetic field. That's where Nightwolf comes in, the deified Lakota shaman helping Mari get in tune with the Red.
  • Regime Superman and Shao Kahn heard about how Vixen tanked a punch from the deposed High Councilor's heroic (albeit brainwashed at the time) counterpart. "Would've been a different story had it been me throwing that punch," R. Supes had bluntly stated. Kahn added that he would simply use his Wrath Hammer to drive her body into the ground like a spike in a single blow.
  • T'Challa has caught the eye of Vixen. A superhero who is also a king? That got Vixen all hot and bothered. Either that or she was chanelling a panther (ironically enough) which inadvertently made Vixen go 'in heat.' While flattered, T'Challa opts to remain single following the end of his first marriage to Storm. With the internal strife within Wakanda, the Black Panther has his hands full.
  • Her exploits have gotten unwanted attention in the form of Onaga. The Dragon King now seeks to not only add Vixen to his army, but to also make her his queen...after he revives her, of course.
  • Vixen also worked with the Suicide Squad in the past. When Amanda Waller found out about Vixen's ascension, she offered Mari a place back on the Squad. Vixen politely declined.
  • Due to her powers, Vixen has been granted honorary membership in both the Houses of Shape and Beasts. If she's not at her temple or hanging out with Dinah or the Justice League, she's either in one of the houses, making friends with the various deities.
  • As one so in tune with the Red, those who poach or harm animals is something of a sore spot for Vixen, especially the former. Case in point:
    • Balrog got on Vixen's bad side when she found out he killed an elephant in a single punch. Vixen responded by channeling the power of a dung beetle and decked Balrog. Instant knockout. Wiz pointed out that the African dung beetle is the strongest insect on the planet, capable of carrying 1141 times their body weight. Convert that to a human, and it's like carrying 80 tons, meaning Balrog got floored by a 80 ton haymaker. Barracuda, having seen this, opts to bide his time before trying to make his move on Mari.
    • Christine Yamata, better known as Four Eyes, also finds herself on Vixen's shitlist. While Four Eyes likes to use humans for her experiments, she has no qualms about using animals and plants as well. Quite possibly the only thing that Vixen, Animal Man, Poison Ivy, and Swamp Thing all agree on is their mutual hatred of the Wolfpack's resident virologist.
    • Pokémon Hunter J is by far, the worst of the poachers. Remember that Mari's mom was a victim of poachers back when she was a child. J is wise enough to steer clear of Vixen, otherwise she may end up on the receiving end of the heroine's ire.
  • How about I kick your ass like a woman?

  • Intermediate God when possessed by the Taros Imagin (Great God in Liner Form and Super Climax Form)
  • Symbol: The Den-O symbol and the Rider Pass, alternatively the DenKamen Sword
  • Theme Song: Climax Jump
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolios: Classical Anti All-Loving Hero, Adorkable, Determinator, Cool Trains, Boy and His Taros, There Is No Kill Like Overkill, Transformation Sequences, Cosmic Play Thing, Time Travel, Sharing a Body
  • Domains: Travel, City, Transformation, Time, Luck (mostly of the bad kind), Spirits, Deserts
  • Allies: All ascended Toku Heroes, Smile Pretty Cures, Kenshin Himura, Chiyoko Shiraishi, Belldandy, T-800 MK 2, Shinji Ikari, Ryuko Matoi, Senketsu, Nozomi Yumehara, The Doctor, Future Trunk, Doc Brown, Anna Kozuki/Kaboom, Koichi Kimura
  • Enemies: Garland, Enrico Pucci, Ultimecia, Brainiac, Trollkaigers, Monokuma, Ryoma Sengoku
  • Followers: The Brave Express Team, Kai, Shin and Yoku of the Dagwon team, Dr. Mondo Tatsumi, "I Like Trains" Kid
  • High Priest: Thomas the Tank Engine
  • Heralds: Momotaros, Urataros, Kintaros, Ryutaros, Sieg
  • Prior to the formation of the Toku Base, Ryotaro Nogami made his ascension into the main pantheon due to his battles as Kamen Rider Den-O, who uses the DenLiner time train via time traveling and battling the malignant Imagin monsters who tries to alter the flow of time.
  • When Ryotaro ascended, he also brought in his Taros, Momo, Kin, Ura, Ryu and sometimes Seig who all routinely possess him. Many of havoc has been cause because of this.
  • Has probably the worst luck in the entire pantheon as something bad will always happen to him. Getting hit by sports equipments, slipping on banana peels and once getting chase by Tyranitar. This actually brought the attention of Belldandy who thought she could better his luck. It only made it worst.
    • He heard about the misfortunes of Shinji Ikari and wanted to befriend him. Others however are trying to not let this happen. Not out of cruelty, but because some don't want to take a chance of Ryo's bad luck effecting Shinji.
  • Ryotaro is trying his best to prevent Claire Stanfield from getting his hands on the Den-Liner. Also found another group of train related Toku gods, the ToQgers to converse with.
  • Ryotaro is good friends with the Smile Pretty Cures, most likely due to their similar experience of fighting against fairy tale-themed villains (the Imagin and the Bad End Kingdom respectively).
  • Because of constant time shifts in his own world, Ryotaro was once into a little kid. However, when he ascended, he was change back to his older self.
  • Many have notice that Ryotaro kind of looks like Kenshin Himura if the samurai was more lively. Many find this a bit funny since Ryotaro has travel to feudal Japan multiple times and compare to the Battousai, Ryotaro isn't that great of a fighter.
  • Ryotaro is a Singularity Point. That means he is immune to any time changes that would accure and will retain memories of the former time lines. It's unknown if he would be unaffected with other cosmic retcons.
    • This brought the attention of Brainiac who too is immune to cosmic changes in the time line and the entire universe. It's unknown however what he wants from the Rider.
  • Once heard the dealings of Ultimcia and her attempt at time compressing. Since her actions reminded Ryotaro a bit like Kai's actions in his own world, he swore to stop her if she ever tries it again.
  • Once bump into Ryuko Matoi and was surprise to hear that Senketsu sounded just like Momotaros, he actually thought she was being posess by him. They got to talking and sympathize for her during the time she was posess by Junketsu which reminded him of the time he was posess by the Ghost Imagin.
  • Some how ended up in the Doctor's TARDIS while he was out and some how got lost in time. The Denliner crew and The Doctor did find them, but not after a lengthy adventure.
  • Also resides in the House of Travel.

    William Hand/Black Hand
William Hand, God of Death Activated Superpowers (Black Hand, Wilbur Palm, Black Glove, Avatar of the Black, Herald of Nekron)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/250px-Green_Lantern_Vol_5-11_Cover-3_Teaser_7391.jpg
  • Intermediate God (Lesser God if living)
  • Symbol: A Black Lantern ring
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil(believes himself to be True Neutral)
  • Portfolio: Animate Dead, Straw Nihilism, Loving the Dead, Killing all Life, Becoming far deadlier in death than life, Zombie Apocalypse, Going from a C-List villain to Herald of the Apocalypse, Lack of Empathy, The Black Hand Of His Family
  • Domains: Death, Nihilism, the Undead, Darkness, Creepiness
  • Master: Nekron
  • Allies: The Grand United Alliance of Destruction (particularly Deathstorm, Nagash the Undying and The White)
  • Dating: Tsukiko
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Dhuum
  • Odd Friendship with: Dr Drakken, Jack Spicer, The Team Rocket trio
  • Enemies: Everyone else that lives, especially Hal Jordan, Iroque, Dr Angela Ziegler/Mercy, King Kai, and particularly those who cheat death(particularly Jean Grey, Grenth, Murky and Kenny McCorminck), Guthix
  • Opposes: The House of Ghosts, Death of the Endless
  • Opposed by: The Houses of the Undead and Family
  • Fears: AM, Medusa and other petrifiers
  • Black Hand is The Anti-Christ to Nekron, who's death shall usher in the Blackest Night and the end of all life. He was born William Hand, belonging to a prominent funerary family. He would don his name out of being the Black Sheep of the family, and try to eliminate the light. Over time he'd realize his destiny as Nekron's avatar, and commit suicide to become the first Black Lantern. Now, Black Hand seeks to have the dead rise all across the pantheon and feast on the gods' hearts.
  • First and foremost, Black Hand is an enemy towards the Lantern Corps. Since he was a teenager, William has been trying to put out the green light of Hal Jordan. Over time he has learned of the other aspects of the emotional spectrum, further dedicating himself to getting rid of light. He has a particularly hatred towards the Indigo Tribe for brainwashing him into the Indigo Tribe, having taken a flying leap to not be affected by the light of compassion.
  • It's highly advised to not kill him because it just makes him worse. On the flip side, Black Hand generally avoids getting involved with his house, afraid their members will revive and thus weaken him. With that in mind, He is terrified of AM, who not only can bring him back to life but make being dead again impossible.
  • Is rather sympathetic to the White. He considers them right to think reality would be better off dead. However he argues the White aren't motivated enough, claiming they should also kill for the equality that comes with death, and its inevitability. The White don't really think much about him. To them, Black Hand is just another Brainwashed and Crazy victim by the hands of Nekron, albeit one who shares their goal.
  • It was the arrival of Black Hand to the pantheon which finally gave Nekron the tether he needed. As the Anti-Monitor escaped the Black Lantern Central Power battery, Nekron can't start a second Blackest Night. He was, however, able to ignite the formation of the Grand United Alliance of Destruction. Black Hand was further pleased to see a fellow Black Lantern, Deathstorm, enter the pantheon.
  • Though he feels more comfortable with the fully dead, Black Hand is happy to hang out with the undead(or as he regards them, the "honorary deceased"). Approves particularly of Nagash's desire to make the world undead. The actual House of Undead, sans Nagash, doesn't want him around because they're easy pickings for Black Lantern ring hijacking.
  • While caring nothing for the living, he is empathetic to the dead. To him, death is equal. Most undead deities avoid him because of how attached he can be to corpses. Tsukiko, on the other hand, spends a lot of time with him. Nobody wants to know what they're doing together, but in SFW terms it's an Unholy Matrimony. The two are dating.
  • As the avatar of the Black, it is almost impossible to take him out. Even direct exposure to both Green Lantern and other lantern constructs, which would normally incinerate a Black Lantern, cannot destroy him. Resurrecting him still isn't that safe an option, since his rebuilt right hand has necromantic properties. The best bet is to Mind Rape or brainwash him into submission; while the GUAG is wary of these practices, it's a Necessary Evil to deal with the threat Black Hand's tethers to Nekron poses and more humane on him than the alternative.
  • The House of Family detests him for killing his family and then himself as part of a ritual to become the first Black Lantern. The Avatar of the Black has stated this was an act of familial affection; to him, everyone is better off in the equality of death. He considers reanimating them after breaking out of the Indigo Tribe's control to be proof of his love for them, but they just regard Black Hand as obscene.
  • Though considered fearsome now, this wasn't always the case. For much of his villain career, Black Hand was regarded as a joke of a supervillain who's only skills were the ability to throw back Lantern energy, and based his crimes on cliched sayings. He's actually glad that Hal as Spectre burned his hand off, as it was the day he'd begin to get out of his rut.
  • Despite his black heart, He has a fondness for Dr Drakken, Jack Spicer and Team Rocket. Given he was a joke villain, he can get where they're coming from. It's a very awkward and Odd Friendship, and they consider him the Omnicidal Maniac The Friend Nobody Likes, but it is one of the only things about the living he values.
  • Despises those who were revived(especially those with the power to do so), seeing it as an affront to death. Despite this, he has no problems with Nekron allowing revivals. He was the one who suggested that Dhuum should join the Grand United Alliance of Destruction, however Dhuum has made it perfectly clear he's going to deliver a final death to him and the rest of the GUAD once death is no longer cheap.
  • Is outraged at Death of the Endless for, in his eyes, being bad at her job for permitting any resurrection whatsoever(though Nekron is permitted it if it serves the Black's higher purpose). She pointed out that people don't "cheat" death, as they will eventually die. The Lord of the Unliving had to pull William away before he could piss Death off, before telling her not to get involved. She isn't going to bother arguing for the claim, given she can always punish him with immortality when absolutely necessary.
Nekron: "William Hand descends from the darkness before your light. I alone have the right to claim him."
  • Finds the constant death cheating of Jean Grey, Grenth, Murky and Kenny Mc Corminck to be extremely frustrating. Kenny has the most to worry about from Black Hand, whom can reanimate the corpses of his previous bodies.
  • Is regarded as the physical manifestation of death. This claim is disputed by most everyone, considering Nekron embodies the lifeless void rather than death. It'd be more accurate to consider Black Hand as the embodiment of life's absence or Nekron's skewed perception of death. The first Black Lantern insists otherwise.
  • Often butts heads with the House of Life and Death, hoping to subvert its purposes for the Black and his master Nekron. He really hates Dr Angela Zieger for her mass resurrections, which is a major problem for his Black Lantern armies.
  • Calls out King Kai, believing that he is "cheating" by helping the dead get stronger and encouraging resurrections. King Kai is quick to point out that he doesn't have a problem when Nekron does it.
  • Black Hand once ended up at the Source Wall, managing to release many imprisoned. However it ended up corrupting him and slowly turning him to stone. Black Hand doesn't want this, and as such is scared of petrification. Seeing Medusa made him panic, yelling "I can't go back!!!"
  • Is on Guthix's shit list for trying to reanimate his daughter.

Lesser Gods

    Matilda Wormwood
Matilda Wormwood, Goddess of Psychic Powers Borne From Smarts
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/matilda.jpg
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/matilda.png
Matilda as depicted in the film (top) and the book (bottom)
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: A library card
  • Theme Song: The film's theme song
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: smarts and telekinetic powers awoken from her Berserk Button being pressed, Adorably Precocious Child, Child Prodigy, Kid Hero, Brainy Brunette, two kinds of Bookworm (Cute and Badass), Good with Numbers, Lady And A Scholar, Abusive Parents, Sadist Teacher Hunter, Wise Beyond Their Years, Guile Heroine, Plucky Girl
  • Domain(s): Intelligence, Psychics, Bully Hunter
  • Followers: Jobe
  • Avatar: Mara Wilson
  • Allies: Mafalda, Calvin, Harry Potter, Neville Longbottom, Hermione Granger, the Powerpuff Girls, Twilight Sparkle, Jimmy Hopkins, Haruka Kotoura, Sara Crewe, James Henry Trotter, Willy Wonka, Madeline, Marge Gunderson
  • Enemies: Agatha Trunchbull, Dolores Umbridge, Ghetsis Harmonia
  • Ever since she was young, Matilda had a desire of knowledge. She learned much about life by going to the library, going through nearly every book there. All while having to deal with a family who didn't care at all for her. Eventually, she managed to earn a happy ending. She may have lost her powers after burning them out from ousting Trunchbull from her school, or likely because she's now using her brain to the fullest, which disables her from using those powers. But whatever the reason, upon ascension, she found that she has access to these powers once more.
  • Her story has since found itself both on the big screen and even in Broadway with success. She can attest to how malleable her story is for others to use.
  • Naturally, Trunchbull was pissed when she found out that Matilda has made it to the Pantheon, but with all the weirdness in the Pantheon, as well as the revelation that Matilda is telekinetic, she restrains herself for her own sake. That and she fears that Matilda could oust her from her teaching job in the Pantheon.
    • She was even more pissed when she found out that one of her followers ran into trouble with Matilda. Miss Minchin saw much of her bills swirl around her before ending up in a fire. She wept for the tragedy while Sara Crewe hugged Matilda for the deed. The brainy girl has become her new best friend in the Pantheon.
  • As stated from above, she hates bullies more than anything. That put her in good company with Jimmy Hopkins. Few bullies can handle the two of them together.
  • Is she ever a child prodigy. She spoke in full sentences when she was one and a half, taught herself to read adult novels when she was four, and by the time she's in first grade, has already memorized the 12-times table, can multiply 13 x 379 in her head in about 3 seconds, figure out how much money her father earned in a day selling low-quality cars, can write limerick poetry, and single-handedly devised a plan to get rid of Agatha Truchbull using nothing more than her powers and a piece of chalk.
  • Many deities are thankful that Matilda is able to keep herself optimistic despite all her hardships. If not, she could've been a potential Intermediate God-level danger like Andrew Detmer, Carrie White, or even Lucy.
  • If you don't want her to torment you with her telekinetic powers, don't accuse her of anything unless you have undeniable proof that she did it, hurt children in her presence, or take away her books. And it takes a lot to make her angry.
  • Twilight Sparkle, overjoyed to see another brilliant mind, decided to take Matilda under her wing, both to tutor her in her telekinetic powers, and to just chat between smart individuals. One side-benefit to this is that Matilda's telekinetic powers have improved greatly.
  • Calvin dared Matilda to try and figure out the nature of Calvin. She came close to succeeding. She only conceded defeat because she didn't want the kid to leave the Pantheon as a result. She felt that Calvin has a rough life what caused him to act as he has. As the result of losing the bet, Calvin now has an ace to deal with his babysitter.
  • Matilda may well have graduated from the temple of Neville Longbottom. Taking on an Olympic athlete may not seem much compared to what Neville got put through, but the wizard recognizes her greatness, congratulating her on her ascension.
    • Is also good buddies with Harry Potter due to handling awful guardians. She allowed the wizard to study her powers to figure out how they worked. It also helps that they both despise Ms. Umbridge.
  • There are other telekinetics in the Pantheon… but some with more tragic origins. Haruka Kotoura got EMP powers when she was young... bringing her nothing but misery. It was only the friendship and eventual love of a boy that snapped her out of it. Matilda has taken note of the plight of powers and strives to help out others to deal with their powers.
  • There seemed to be far more friendly adults in the Pantheon. Marge for example welcomed her with a hot cup of cocoa. Matilda was initially suspicious that she might try to get her parents arrested, but Marge was adamant to let those incident slide. After all, it's not in her jurisdiction.
  • Matilda didn't think that her own avatar could be just as devastating to her enemies as she can be with her powers. But Mara Wilson proved to be quite the companion. She was especially glad to see one of her favorite roles have a seat in the Pantheon, reminding her of her own sense of justice for those who wronged her. They proceeded to do just that, trolling everyone from Mr. Burns to Ms. Trunchbull herself.
  • Her parents may not have been too abusive, but she is not a fan of any parent that does just that to their children. This guarantees that Ghetsis Harmonia will be one of her most hated foes in the Pantheon.
  • There seems to be a growing number of deities who were created by Roald Dahl. Among them, she enjoyed Trotter's company the most. They are both kids who learned to stand up for themselves. She has a mixed opinion of Willy Wonka. His intellectual achievements are impressive, but is unsure what to think of the fate of those who do not listen to his instructions.

    The Meta
The Meta, God of Power Programs (Agent Maine, Sigma)

  • Lesser God, can grow into a Greater God as he gains power
  • Symbol: The tattoo on the back of his head.
  • Theme Music: (When) Your Middle Name is Danger, Maniacs, Welcome to Maine, Mental Meta Mania, Plagam Extremam Infligere (you better run if you here the last one)
  • Alignment: Chaotic Insane, Neutral Evil in Sigma's case
  • Portfolio: With Great Power Comes Great Insanity, The Heavy, Living Incarnation of "Oh FUCK!", Ax-Crazy, The Brute, Surprisingly and Dangerously Intelligent, Serial Killer, Mega Manning, Acrophobic, "We Are the Meta", Tragic Villain
  • Domains: Technology, Programs, Insanity
  • Allies: Has none, unless they can bribe him.
  • Enemies: Leonard L. Church, Epsilon, Dexter Grif, Caboose, Tucker, Lopez, Donut, Simmons, Washington, Sarge, Carolina, Rachet, Clank, Iron Man, Raiden, X, Zero, Axl, Kazuto Kirigaya and Asuna Yuuki, Master Chief
  • Interested in: Leonard L. Church, Epsilon, Cortana, SHODAN, Clank, HAL 9000, MCP, Necromancer, Tron, Clu, Bladewolf, Bass.EXE, Yui Kirigaya, Mega Man.EXE
  • Mysterious Connection with: Spyro, Frodo
  • He appeared in the Pantheon after his fatal fall on planet Sidewinder, and has been spotted near several locations. Everyone is now on a lookout for him in case he begins loading up on A.I.s again.
  • The Freelancer A.I. each had a specific ability that allowed solders extra powers on the field. However, after the fall of Project Freelancer, the Meta began collecting these A.I.s for himself. No one really knows why, but with every A.I. he gains he becomes more dangerous. It is also because of this that the Council of Shadows are trying to keep him from crossing paths with any A.I.s, which is a challenge seeing how surprisingly intelligent the Meta is in spite of his insanity.
  • He is pleased to find that both Church, or Alpha as he would rather call him, and Epsilon are both in the Pantheon. He is also very pleased to find that there are different types of A.I.s in the Pantheon as well. Now the Meta can finish what he started, and then some.
  • Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long are all deathly afraid of him, having heard of all of his feats and crimes. They all agree to not be anywhere near him.
  • Because of the Meta's interest in Clank and Bladewolf, he has made enemies out of Ratchet and Raiden.
  • The Meta doesn't really care if that he has enemies. If he can get the AIs, that's what matters.
  • X, Zero, and Axl are weary of him due to being under the influence of a program called Sigma. Meta doesn't seem to be as interested in them as they aren't usual A.I.s.
  • County Gears has expressed interest in allying with him. Should she succeeded... BE VERY AFRAID.
  • No one is able to understand what the Meta is saying as all he does is snarl. However, it's clear that he understands the English language just fine. Apparently, he used to speak English before getting shot in the throat. Sigma was actually given to him so that people could understand him, but it corrupted him instead.
  • The AI that set him off in the first place has a notable resemblance to both Spyro and Frodo. Some people are wondering what the connection between the Meta and those characters could be.
  • He is very pissed off at Malcom Hargrove for taking his helmet. Hargrove's current plans for the helmet are unknown.
  • For reasons unexplained, there are times that the Meta feels… sad. Maybe it's because the man who made him is now with his former comrades.
    • Once Oum's ascension in the House of Workmanship, he has become one of the only people the Meta won't harm as a result.
  • Because of the AIs he's been hoarding, he's become a target for one Arktivus Brevon. Church, Epsilon, Grif, and Tex aren't sure whether or not they should hope the Meta could take care of himself or if they should "help" him not get exploited.
  • It's been confirmed that he stands no chance fighting Agent Carolina. He was not happy about it at all, particularly how Epsilon distracted him in a very crucial moment with the now immortal line:
Epsilon: OOH, Son of a bitch!
    • Needless to say, he was angry seeing Carolina ascend - specially as the Meta thought she died after he threw her from a cliff.
  • Is the only Red vs. Blue deity who doesn't like Master Chief - a hatred shared by John-117, as the Meta made pretty clear that he wants to add Cortana to his collection of AI (specially as she has achieved the metastability so wished by Sigma).
  • Also has a seat in the House of Technology.

  • Enemies: Water, Ice and Lightning deities, Rayquaza
  • The Meteor Pokemon Minior spend most of its time in the Ozone layer eating dust before falling to the planet below because its shell got too heavy, or it was trying to escape from Rayquaza.
  • Miniors ascension came about when its shell got too heavy and happened to fall into an empty temple and a passing White Mage happened to notice how weak Minior looked so said White Mage healed it to the point it could get its shell back up causing Minior to start floating around happily.
  • The court of the gods decided that Minior would get a spot in the pantheon after a separate occasion when Miniors shell broke again and Minior started to move much faster than when its shell was up.
  • While the Minior that was given a spot in the Pantheon has a pink core (Which Pokemon researchers claim to be red), deities who've been to Miniors temple have spotted multiple Miniors with cores of different colors.
  • Minior developed a particularly strong friendship with Yang Xiao Long over their shared ability to get stronger upon being damaged enough. The two of them have made a game where the two of them spar with each other and the first one to power up is the loser.
  • Ever since the time Minior took a trip to the house of Nature and found out Rayquaza; Miniors natural predator; had ascended before it, Minior decided to make its visits to the house of Nature as brief as possible.
  • Whenever Minior wants feed on the dust in the Ozone layer, Minior enlists the help of the Cosplay Research Society to not only get Minior to the Ozone layer safely, but also bring Minior back safely without Minior needing to go through reentry.
  • While Minior's good friends with several pokemon of the same type as it, Minior developed a strong friendship with Deoxys, Lunatone and Solrock and Clefairy as fellow extraterrestrial Pokemon.
  • Some dinosaur deities get a case of PTSD whenever they see Miniors meteor form.

    The Wisps
The Wisps, Deified Living Batteries
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wisps.png
  • Lesser Deities in general
  • Symbol: A mix of colors from the various Wisps
  • Theme Song: The Planet Wisp Acts for the Wisps as a whole
  • Alignment: Neutral Good or Chaotic Good (normal Wisps), Chaotic Neutral (Nega-Wisps)
  • Portfolio: Friendly Starfish Aliens, having Elemental Powers Fusing With Sonic, Sentient Power Sources, All Your Powers Combined
  • Domains: Aliens, Hyper-Go-On Energy, Transformations, Friendliness
  • High Priest: Charjabug
  • Allies: Sonic, Tails and their friends, The Doctor, E.T, The Blorg Community, Kirby, Lilo and Stitch, Pokémon in general, Cael Cynder, Nibbler, Philip J Fry, Samus Aran, Mario
  • Enemies: Dr Eggman, Black Doom, Zavok, Infinite, evil aliens, Dr Wily, Dr Weil, Ghetsis Harmonia, Hunter J, Miles Quaritch, The Tyranids, Wat Tambor, The Grineer
  • Avoids: The House of Mind Control, Roger the Alien
  • The Wisps are a friendly type of alien found on Planet Wisp. Colorful creatures, they are capable of giving people various powers depending on the Wisp. Composed of Hyper-Go-On energy, they are an attractive source of power. Dr Eggman captured their homeworld in hopes of using their power for a mind control ray, so he may finally rule the world. Fortunately, Sonic and Tails stopped his plans. While most returned to Planet Wisp, some wisps remain on Earth to help out Sonic and friends.
  • The complete antithesis to the Black Arms. While they are dark, malevolent invaders, the Wisps are colorful and friendly. They don't care for evil aliens, and would rather be playful and cute. The Doctor thinks they're adorable, as do many non-evil beings in the House of Extraterrestrials. Though they can come in some rather strange varieties. Fry got along with them, reflecting how good he is to animals and interest in aliens.
  • Got along with E.T, as he is a friendly alien like themselves. The Men in Black and SCP Foundation have stated that while they are alien, they aren't of any concern and don't need to be contained or removed. The Blorg Community believes that they could be good friends and want to spread the happiness of the Wisps to other alien races, hoping everyone can get along.
  • Some have compared them to Pokemon, as they're playful creatures that come in a variety of forms, and have a variety of powers. Most of these fall under Elemental Powers, furthering the similarity. Lilo and Stitch draw more of a comparison to Jumba's various experiments, being alien beings with various powers, though only the Nega-Wisps ever act that naughty. They like the Wisps a lot. Mario seems to like them as well, as they remind him of Lumas.
  • Capable of merging with people so for a time they can use their powers. One of the most well-known examples is the Cyan Wisps' Reflecting Laser powers. Their appearance in the pantheon was a boon to some members of the Grand United Alliance of Good as they can be equipped. Kirby was most used to this and their playful personalities meshed well. Samus Aran found them great help in her adventures.
  • The Venom Symbiote of all beings compared himself to the Wisps, as he is a symbiotic alien entity who can bond and empower other lifeforms. Though unlike the Wisps, this has a much more mixed result. With the vastly different tones in the two races, the Wisps were simply confused by this comparison.
  • One of the Wisps attempted to bond with Roger the Alien. The alien's own bitchiness and intoxication of God knows what had a severely negative result, and that Wisp ejected itself, promptly vomited, and continued to act like a surly Jerkass. Roger isn't allowed close to them again. The Tyranids have been kept much farther away from the Wisps as they will surely assimilate their power and it'll be a disaster for everyone.
  • Dr Wily wants to take the Wisps in order to control their power and enhance his Robot Masters, and model better models after them. Dr Weil's interest is far more dangerous, as after losing the Dark Elf believes that their power and potential for mind control if the power is utilized. He is searching for the Mother Elf to turn into his slave to make Omega more dangerous than ever.
  • Hunter J has been kidnapping some of the Wisps to sell them to the highest bidder. Ghetsis recognizes the similarity to Pokemon, and wants to use that for his domination schemes. Wat Tambor wants to weaponize their power in the Separatist agenda. And Miles Quaritch believes the power they obtain might hope his financiers and humanity in breaking out of the current resource deficit.
  • Knowing they are targeted for the power, Cael Cynder and Nibbler have come to the Wisps' protection. They can relate. The Wisps also avoid the House of Mind Control, in fear the more nefarious members will extract their Hyper-Go-On energy and enhance their mind control with it.
  • In order to counter the Corpus' projects involving their interest in Pokemon as a whole, the Grineer wants to utilize the Wisps for their own benefit and own benefit alone. And they're willing to bulldoze anyone else trying to get their hands on the Wisps. Primarily, their ideal outcome would be to significantly decrease the speed at which they degrade though they aren't saying no to significantly enhancing the main bulk of their forces. The Grineer most interested in researching the Wisps is Tyl Regor.
Tyl Regor: "Don't worry, the experiments won't hurt and not even a little bit. Cross my heart: It's going to hurt a looot."

  • Rank: Quasideity, Lesser God when using Miraclo.
  • Symbol: The hourglass he wears around his neck.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good, though his behavior can lean towards Chaotic Good when under the influence of Miraclo.
  • Portfolio: Associated with Miraclo Going somewhat crazy, Heroism Addict, Nigh-Invulnerability, Super Strength, Not associated with Miraclo being mostly a biochemist whilst being capable of building androids and Artificial Intelligence, not spending enough time with his son, being a Self-Made Man who married a famous movie actress despite being timid and reserved
  • Domains: Super Serums, Addiction
  • Herald: His son and successor, Rick Tyler.
  • High Priest: Cloak & Dagger
  • Followers: Captain Trips, Theseus, Rion, the Gummi Bears
  • Allies: Nabu/Doctor Fate, Aztar/The Spectre, Clark Kent/Superman, Bruce Wayne/Batman, Barry Allen/The Flash, The Doctor, Emmett L. Brown, Kotetsu T. Kaburagi/Wild Tiger, Jack Harkness, Sherlock Holmes, J'onn J'onnz/Martian Manhunter, all Good-aligned machine deities.
  • Rivals: Popeye
  • Enemies: Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, Dr. Victor Fries/Mr. Freeze, Professor Hojo
  • Good Counterpart to: Bane
  • Mutual Respect: Ruby Rose
  • Respected/Pitied by: Steve Rogers/Captain America
  • Opposes: Addiction of any kind, the Grand United Alliance of Machines
  • One day, a mysterious ship came hurtling out of nowhere. A team was sent to investigate. They found a man coming out of the wreckage. When they asked who he was, he said, "My name is Rex Tyler. I'm a member of the Justice Society of America." When the Main House learned of who he was and where he got his powers, it didn't take long to find him a suitable place in the pantheon, especially with Captain America advocating for him.
    • Captain America both respects and pities Hourman as he too was bestowed extraordinary abilities by a Super Serum. His are weaker than Hourman's but made up for by being permanent. He feels compassion for the man's past situation.
  • Rex Tyler is a biochemist who developed a compound he called "Miraclo", which he uses to become the superhero, Hourman. This mixture, when ingested, temporarily increases human physical capabilities to superhuman levels. These effects, as his superhero name implies, only last one hour. The side effects of using Miraclo include personality changes and addiction. Prolonged exposure can lead to developing symptoms identical to Leukemia.
  • Though mostly withdrawn from the hero business, he is willing, if reluctant, to come out of retirement and use Miraclo again if necessary. This is especially true if it's to aid his fellow founders of the Justice Society of America, Doctor Fate and The Spectre. It helps that a non-addictive variant has been created.
    • He does like to help The Flash and Batman foil their ice villain's schemes, albeit in a limited capacity. He has some experience fighting cold-themed villains through one of his own enemies, Dr. Joar Mahkent, otherwise known as "Icycle".
  • Having a life fraught with addiction has given Rex Tyler incentive to champion the cause against dependency. He's set up a group to help those suffering from the condition, whether it be drugs, alcohol, magic, etc. None of these things are necessarily harmful in and of themselves, but addiction is enough to justify taking them seriously. This has given him the loyalty of anyone with a hatred or history of addiction or their causes. This includes Jack Harkness, who is fairly well-known for his hatred of drug dealers and Sherlock Holmes, who by some accounts has been known for overcoming his drug addiction. Although Rex has acknowledged that the chances of curing some deities are low, either because of the status quo or that the deity in question would lose their status if they were cured, he feels it would be immoral to not at least try.
    • Sees Bane as an ominous reflection of his past struggles.
    • J'onn J'onnz has been seen attending meetings when his cookie addiction gets really bad.
  • Hates Professor Hojo with a passion. Not only does he remind Rex of one of his worst enemies, Doctor Rocco Togg, but Hojo is much much worse. Where Doctor Togg experimented on and created monstrous animals, which is bad, Professor Hojo experiments on human beings, including his own family members, which is significantly worse.
  • Popeye once tried to see if Rex's Miraclo could match his Spinach. Rex wasn't sure if he should risk using his drug for such a thing, even if it wasn't addictive. Eventually, he acquiesced and they've been seen competing in various physical competitions. Neither has been able to come out on top.
  • In honor of the sacrifice of the third Hourman, Tyler (also called "Ty" or "Matthew"), who was an android who sacrificed himself to erase his death at the hands of the villain Extant, Rex is extremely friendly to all Good-aligned machines, believing all of them to be "as alive as any of us" just as Ty was. In turn, he is strictly opposed to the Grand United Alliance of Machines, who he feels are a stain on everything that Ty always fought for. This has earned him the mutual respect of Ruby Rose, who has expressed similar beliefs.
    • Has had pleasant conversations with The Doctor and Doc Brown on the subject of time travel. Rex isn't the most well-versed in the topic, as he himself is not primarily a time-traveler, but he does have some knowledge through Ty, who most definitely was.
  • Being two superheroes whose powers revolve around a time limit as well as having experience with neglecting their children due to personal issues, Rex and Kotetsu T. Kaburagi get along well.
