Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

For Marcus Wright: who's a criminal that's been given a second chance? Who might relate to his flavor of being a Tomato in the Mirror or being rebuilt as a cyborg without their consent(while still holding onto their sense of self/free-will)

Okay from the top. I'm taking back the following.

  • The Sinner, Deity of Sentences Longer Than One's Lifespan
    • Reasoning: The whole game is reportedly about reducing your life sentence, which spans around one million years counted from birth.
  • Jensen Garner Ames, God of Winning One's Freedom
    • Reasoning: The plot of his movie is the need to win a deadly racing game, with freedom as the reward. Sure, the higher-ups don't want that to happen, but that's par for the course for this trope.
  • Aiden Pearce, God of Harmful Hackers
    • Reasoning: His hacking can be used to cause all sorts of mayhem, as well as lining his own pockets, so to speak.

I was told someone in Independence Day will have Hacked by a Pirate, and I'm fine with that.

I'll think of a reason to take Adachi soon, if he isn't claimed already by another troper.

  • The Borg Collective is one of the infamous examples of an invasive intelligent species. Staring out as... something, the Borg's primary goal is to reach perfection through assimilating other races and advancing through the technology they gain. For eons, the Borg built legions upon legions of armies—assimilated countless worlds, and occupy major galactic sectors. Anybody who has knowledge and capabilities they can gain from, the Borg will take them for assimilation, a Fate Worse than Death as whatever free will a person has vanished into the collective unconsciousness as they are altered to be what is typically a Borg drone. Starfleet and other powerful alien races have done their best to deflect Borg incursions multiple times, knowing that if they falter once it might be the end for the people under them. What makes the Borg so dangerous are their superior technology and their unified forces that can sacrifice any unit for victory. However, their incapability of foresight and robotic mindsets cost them dearly as several incidents that had the infamous Voyager Federation starship involved shook their foundations. Their war with the Alternate Dimension-dwelling Species 8472 with their Organic Technology wiped out enough forces to make them consider alliances. Furthermore, the Borg Collective had several of their drones realize individuality at certain points and began subverting the links that bound Borg members together, causing an internal civil war that has yet to resolve. Finally, the greatest blow to their power was the destruction of their Transwarp hub which is used to teleport Borg vessels across the galaxy within minutes by the U.S.S. Voyager. People still wonder how a single Federation research vessel had done so much damage to a seemingly invincible race when the entire Federation armada could not. Though it is not to say the Borg are extremely weakened, as they are a significant threat but most advantages they held are gone which resulted in the Borg setting their sights on the Pantheon, with the intent to bring themselves to even greater power than they were beforehand.
  • Their presence in the Pantheon was alerted when the transmission was received by Defense where the notorious Borg statement on their intentions of assimilation and the demand of surrender was heard. All Federation officers who were prepared for this eventual day, gathered nearly all forces to defend the Pantheon. Jean-Luc Picard was particularly alarmed as he was converted to a Borg beforehand, something that traumatized him greatly. As Picard was elderly, even if he had the most interactions with the Borg prior Picard was not as fit to carry out of a deflection against their attack. Honor Harrington picked up his mantle instead and led the forces against the Borg and to everyone's surprise, the Borg fleet they met went down rather easier than they thought. It was still a tense battle but not as harrowing as when the Borg first invaded Federation space. In fact, for an invasion of the Pantheon, the amount of Borg was quite small for such an undertaking. This is likely attributable to the fact Borg could not gather enough forces even if they want to. Some Borg has transported down onto the Pantheon anyhow, resulting in a zone being made that isolated the drones from the rest of the Pantheon so new technology will not be able to return to the Collective. Humorously, this special prison for them is shaped like a cube. These drones represent the Collective in the Pantheon and do not need to go outside their domain at all thanks to the little technology they have replenishing themselves. All they do is a report on Pantheon happenings to the Borg Queen who is somewhere else entirely. Many humanist protesters stage protests outside the Borg domain as their treatment is akin to a boxed-up zoo animal, but those who are aware of the Borg know that leaving them to wonder would be devastating. There are very few exceptions to Borg being able to regain individuality but that requires cutting them off from the Borg Collective leading to potentially disastrous results.
  • The Borg are met with so much hatred that even Q who can erase people from existence said never to provoke the Borg under any circumstances. Benjamin Sisko and Jake Sisko particularly dislike the Borg's presence as Jake's mother was a casualty in the Battle of Wolf 359. Even the Enterprise-A/B crew (or at least their Kelvin counterparts) had to tangle with the Borg on numerous occasions, albeit in an indirect matter so that the first true Borg encounter did not happen much earlier. When Q originally sent Picard's crew to Borg space, it was more or less a warning to them that the galaxy beyond Federation space is NOT forgiving as they thought. That is not even mentioning how the Borg had a direct influence on the First Contact scenario between humans and Vulcans through Time Travel, defining that the Borg is the greatest threat to the democracy and freedoms the Federation stands for. Although they are seen as such by Federation members, the Borg ironically have higher priority targets due to Federation knowledge and tech looking a bit dim when compared to other civilizations in the Pantheon.
  • The Borg has sought to capture the TARDIS after merging with the Cybermen to control time and space. The Borg would have tried assimilating the Cybermen but a conflict between each other would not bode well for either side and the fusion of members together was decided instead. That being said though, the Cybermen would pull the hood over the Borg due to being much more pragmatic and ambitious than their counterparts. The Cybermen would overwhelm the Borg Collective, resulting in the Borg making a new alliance with the Federation to stop the Cybermen from overtaking the universe. AS a result, if there are enemies considered mortal to the Borg aside from Species 8472, the Cybermen would take that spot. When speaking on the Time Lords though, the Borg have an extreme interest in this species and decided to initiate a time travel project to conquer planets due to it. The Doctor cringes at what happened, wishing that they would have stayed to "stop Time Lord meddling aftermaths"—something the Doctor's companions find humorous considering that is all of the Doctor's adventures in a nutshell. The Dalek Empire is disgusted that there is a race that is trying to reach perfection when the Daleks are already perfect as they say. The Borg would love to do nothing else but grab a Dalek since even one would substantially add themselves to the Collective.
  • There are some races that the Borg are unwilling to assimilate because they do not add to their "reach for perfection" that defines the Borg and would subtract from it with their presence within the Collective. Either those they reject are too primitive or too unintelligent, with the only way averting their dismissal is being biologically interesting. Fortunately for them and unfortunately for everybody else, the Pantheon is filled with technologically and biologically interesting people to assimilate and add to their "perfection". Although an ironic thing is that they were unable to assimilate anything within the Pantheon, not even at the space the representative drones are stuck in. They just try replicating things they see on the cameras system they enter, ranging from random vehicles that pass by, devices on people, or even activities that normal people wish to never have seen. They are also trying to discover the Omega Molecule within the Pantheon since they deem that the apex of perfection, and think that a certain bug-looking humanoid whose DNA they acquired (Cell rubbed his hand on their space) could be the key to doing so. Cell laughs at such robotic things being so desperate to try to attain HIS biological power.
  • The Metroid Hatchling once tried sucking life off the Borg domain, with the Borg drone regarding its activities until Samus pulled it off. To say they are intrigued by the energy-draining creature is putting it lightly, and have placed the Metroid Hatchling as a high-level priority target for them to assimilate. They also saw that Samus was made of a similar material as the Metroid Hatchling (her Fusion Suit would do this), with the Borg placing her assimilation even higher. They would bark at them whenever they pass that, "Resistance is futile" but like all the messages they make, the drones were ignored. Then they managed to spot Samus again atop their ship but on examination of her DNA composition, it was nothing the Borg have ever seen before. SA-X was scouting for Samus and left afterward, [[ArtificialStupidity not noticing the Borg due to its narrow vision on things. The X Parasite was an even more curious species that the Borg want to add to the other races they gained, though are questioning on HOW to do so since whatever genetics the X Parasite has are something the Borg never dealt with before.
  • It becomes not surprising that YHVH calls the Borg the ultimate form of order, as their inherent strength is thinking as one instead of as a group and converting others to the same mindset. However, he would like to poke flaws at their programming for allowing several Borg drones to gain individuality at certain intervals. It was not a deliberate flaw on their end but a costly flaw nonetheless. YHVH also does not see a good reason why a Borg Queen should exist. The Borg Collective strives for one goal of perfection via assimilation and function not under the Borg Queen but the directives already do that for the Borg. It is as if they made a representative for themselves but the representative does not encapsulate their culture nor does the representative does anything. What YHVH does not realize however is that the Borg Queen having somewhat individual thought allows the Borg to react accordingly to situations where their directives are not enough to save them, thus giving longevity to the Borg. That free thought the Borg Queen holds also allows them to reject following YHVH as his ways are not the "perfect structure" that they seek.
  • The Master who has used the Cybermen for their purposes several times has an interest in using the Borg for... prosperity's sake. The Master is sure that controlling the Borg will be easier as they are not as ambitious as the Cybermen were. The Borg do not want anything to do with the Master through the Borg Queen proposes that the Master will be a great asset. The Collective will give him a false sense of security then assimilate the Time Lord, thus gaining the knowledge that can help the Borg take over the universe. Then the Master overheard all of that thanks to some sonic technology, so refuses to utilize the Cybermen anymore. The Borg Queen wishes that private conversations can be had within the Borg Collective.
  • Cooler who has robotized a planet beforehand thinks the Borg is interesting as a concept and an active culture. That said, even he knows that the Borg could be so much more... if they have someone like him being their leader. Their Borg Queen, despite being intelligent can only know so much and cannot properly react to unpredictable scenarios. Cooler on the other hand, thinks that if the Borg Collective were to link up their hive to him then designate him as the leader, they might bounce back from their current slump and much more. Hilariously, people like to point out that the flaws of the Borg hierarchy can apply to him, and he never led forces beyond a single planet (he refused to lead the Cold Force after all). The only thing that makes Cooler have a legitimate claim against the Borg Queen is his sheer power.
  • The Borg have a counterpart with the Bydo Empire, who much like Species 8472 uses Organic Technology and dwell within another dimension. This raises the Bydo's threat level to the Borg much higher than the likes of the Combine, the Grey Goo, or even the Starmen. It does not help the Bydo wants to assimilate anything they come across to but without the pickiness the Borg have. It also is apparent to the Borg that humans of Earth created them, making the Borg question how much intelligence humans hold to be capable of such a feat.
  • Lucifer despises the Borg, believing that their brand of subjugation is the ultimate form of locking away the freedoms of others. The Morningstar would extend his hand to make sure that drones who regain their individuality from the Borg Collective remain as such by locking away their consciousness in COMPs that the GUAC hold. Though it causes the Borg Collective to find their misfunctioning units as errors and disposes of them, something Lucifer does not find an issue because Borg members went through as much Body Horror as it is (even if the effects are reversible). The two young men who see how COMPs descend society to chaos are alarmed by Lucifer's actions, as that could open the possibility of the Borg gaining access to Demon Summoning technology. Lucifer cites that he is a demon, so he would know if such a thing were possible... only to hastily double check if any security openings were made.
  • All Cybertronians hate the Borg, thinking that their assimilations pervert machinery. The Autobots being the peacekeepers they are, know that the Borg are a threat to life across the universe and sworn to stop them. The Decepticons have a differing perspective, as they see the Borg creating territories as supplanting their power and consider the Borg an enemy. Not to say that Autobots or the Decepticons will try to do an Enemy Mine regarding them but they at least have one more thing in common with each other.
  • Tron almost had his data hacked by the Borg drones who remained in the Pantheon, seeing that Tron after being converted from Rinzler was a security liability even in the smallest senses. Then out of nowhere, the Master Control Program saved Tron from basically having his data assimilated. The reason for this is that the Master Control Program sees not as a fellow AI but just a cluster of Users together. Not even they are allowed to ruin the datascape. Then the Master Control Program tried to reprogram Tron for his purposes, only for Tron to escape for that fate as well.
  • Sigma dislikes the Borg immensely, as he believes Reploids must be free of any kind of subjugation whether that be from humans or an alien species. That paints Sigma as a major Hypocrite as his actions would convert Reploids to becoming Mavericks even when he is gone, essentially assimilating people from beyond the grave. X and Zero would like to indulge in pointing that fact out but see what Sigma stating are Right for the Wrong Reasons to put it lightly. They are lucky that Borg members are not as versatile as Mavericks, or else an army of such will be worst than what is already present.
  • If there is some respect the Borg has for even the smallest of persons, it would be for Ivo Robotnik of all people. When he took over Mobius, Robotnik's Unwilling Roboticisation of the Mobius animal population was ruthless—turning rebels into loyal soldiers in a heartbeat and even concocting a virus that spreads assimilation via touch. The Borg Collective as a whole was impressed on how efficient the man was but only showed disappointment that Robotnik was still consistently beaten by rebels and thought that he became much less threatening when people started calling him Eggman. For this, the Borg want to assimilate Eggman, thinking that he will give them a major boon when they learn of his techniques and knowledge. Those who rebel against Eggman may have nothing but hatred for him but do not want the guy to end up being a tool for a potentially worse threat. Eggman takes the assimilation threat as a compliment though does not want to spend the rest of his life as a cyborg, which is ironic considering Robotnik put MANY animals under that same fate to varying degrees of horror.
  • Considering that many Borg ships are in the shape of geometry (likely for efficiency reasons) and extremely large, it comes as no surprise that many resources are sunk to said ships. Steve and Alex (or just general players) were in the need of metals and other materials hard to come by, so a Borg ship would be perfect for them. It is not known how they are into one but they were able to get away with thousands of blocks worth of resources. It took accidentally breaking some essential Borg ship material to alarm the drones of their presence (Borg does not care for intruders until they pose as direct threats ready for assimilation). Though it would seem daunting of a task, Steve and Alex were able to escape with minimum damage after breaking the floor beneath them and then hiding in an alcove where the Borg cannot angle their firearms at. This incident made the Borg Queen realize that perhaps the Borg need to prepare themselves for an even longer period if two normal-looking figures can cause so much damage.
  • Though the Borg as a whole is mostly invulnerable, they are at their weakest when it comes to messing with their programming. This especially is devastating considering that Borg members share the same thoughts. Venjix and SKYNET were both vying to take control of the Borg via hacking and tried overriding them several times to serve themselves. Venjix was the first one to try to do it, only to find the alien nature of the Collective's security to be daunting. Venjix as powerful as it is was made by humans and only has familiarity with mostly human technology, so backed out when the going was surely looking tough. SKYNET was the next one in line and though faced with the same issue Venjix had, persisted with trying to hack the Collective as best it could. It was then SKYNET set off a single security alarm, almost having the entire Borg Collective reprogram it instead. The Borg see that both artificial intelligence are threats to them and instead of assimilating the two, want to dispose of them after they are done assimilating SKYNET and Venjix technology.
  • A Borg ship came upon one of the Phazon Leviathans in space and attempted to assimilate it as they always do. It did not work out as well as the Borg liked. Every drone on the ship died to be infected by Phazon, and the Phazon infected ship went on autopilot and tried to send a signal for recovery. It was then the next Borg ship came and faced the same fate, to which then another came... and another... and another... It took a bit for the Borg to realize Phazon was dangerous. They tried extracting it for themselves but Dark Samus came around and tried reclaiming for Borg ships for herself. Knowing the danger Phazon poses, the Collective decided to blow up all the ships that succumbed to Phazon and were compromised. Ironically, the Borg were the ones on the resisting end this time.
  • Humorously, Gendo Ikari also plans to assimilate all of humanity to be as one as LCL, which is basically reverting humans back to primordial soup. The Borg would come to think doing so would be a waste of a race and make humanity useless (considering they are soup after all), though they do hold interest in studying the devolved humans as such an event would render humans biologically unique. Plus, humans becoming a collective may have made it easier to assimilate their civilization's remains as there is no resistance to stop the Borg. Gendo Ikari is making sure that is Instrumentality makes the human collective at least capable of defending itself to prove that humans are stronger together in the most twisted sense.
  • Horde Prime was able to capture several Borg drones for himself after the deflection of their invasive forces. With that, Horde Prime was able to subjugate those Borg members with the chips he holds, essentially assimilating them under his will. The Borg Collective still have awareness through those drones and no matter what they do, they cannot override him. This both intrigues and frustrates the Borg that someone has better assimilation technology than they do.
  • Even the heavily machine-centric Borg are seen as meals to the Tyranids due to the drones having flesh on them, no matter how much cybernetics are put there. That said though, the Tyranids have difficulty penetrating Borg ships and also have difficulty eating whatever Borg they come across. The only Borg drones the Tyranids can eat without chocking on wires are the babies kept in nurseries, and even then they have a hard time pulling them out. The Borg consider the Tyranids to be too feral to have any value in assimilating, so they mount a full-scale extermination assault against any Tyranid within their vacinity.
  • Team Star Fox have also taken a stand against the Borg due to facing a similar threat before: the Aparoids whom control life and machines with Aparoidedation, a viral spread of their power. The Borg also have the capabilities of assimilating a planet virally with their nanoprobe virus but that process is far more gradual than what the Aparoids are capable of. Star Fox is making sure that the Borg do not meet with the Aparoids, or else either side's capabilities will heighten extremely when it comes to assimilating planets.
  • The Blorg Commonality have a particular keen interest towards making the Borg their friend. Even more so due to their similarities right down to their similar names and quotes. The Blorg has had more than one attempt of assimilating the Borg Collective to which they were able to deflect away. Their assimilation has to do more with thinking that befriending the Borg will lead them to greater heights than what they are right now, to which the Borg will agree if they were the ones assimilating instead. The Blorg has tried to do the befriending with individual drones with varying degrees of success but the Borg Collective would have the lasers point to the drones' heads before they became security risks.
Blorg Commanility: We are Blorg. You will be befriended. Your biological and technological friendliness will be added to our own. Resistance is impolite.).
  • Anomalies are always something the Borg look forward to as anomalies may lead to them finding more ways to improve themselves. The Sleeper though is an anomaly that got on their radars almost immediately and is being heavily monitored by the stationed drones. The drones are experimenting to see if they can induce an anomaly to break them out of their current prison and then send back as much knowledge back to the Borg Collective as they could.
  • Philemon and Nyarlathotep do not want humans to become like the Borg by any means because doing so will erase humanity's collective unconsciousness due to being replaced by the Borg Collective. They will not be able to have the choice of morals, philosophies, nor actions as all they will dedicate themselves to is achieving the goals of perfection. Both of the gods do not have the highest opinion of humanity and consider them all sheep to raise but they will not allow an alien species to take free will away from people. If anything, it should be humanity's choice to remove free will from themselves or to collectively make a being fulfill that wish.
  • Brainiac holds sorrow for the Borg more than anything. He thinks that their pursuit of perfection is an impossible task that will only lead them to constant dead ends. Even with the Omega Molecule, the Borg will never understand how to utilize it or be capable of evolving past their current state that would allow such better change for themselves. Brainiac would like to say the Borg are in a loop that they cannot break out of. Do not mistake Brainiac's sympathy under goodwill though, as Brainiac looks down upon the Borg for not reaching HIS perfection, meaning that his pity is not too dissimilar to arich person feeling bad for poor people for not having the luxuries they have like clubhouses or a giant collection of shrunken civilizations. Brainiac keeps a Borg vessel within a bottle to study them and he can best compare the Borg's functions to ants.
  • Nom Anor and the rest of the Yuuzhan Vong think the Borg's entire existence is heretical to their beliefs. Due to the Yuuzhan Vong opposing mechanical technology, the idea of nanomachines and cybernetic graft onto them forcibly is horrifying. They would rather grab their blasters and shoot themselves than undergo that. Ironically, their opposition is what may be what makes the Yuuzhan Vong interesting to the Borg as their technology bases itself on genetics. That is a feat on its own and the Borg think they will be an excellent addition to their collective.
  • "You will be assimilated."

I've finished my character relationship context, and my profile is ready to go. I have high hopes for it, especially since many of you seem to like it already.

  • Welcome to WHITE SPACE. Omori has been living here as long as he can remember. He sometimes sits around by himself, and sometimes traverses the whimsical Headspace with his friends. It isn't that lively or interesting, nor is Omori especially comfortable with Headspace's denizens' way of life, but everything is okay. However, all of this is within the dreams of a lone Hikikomori named Sunny.
  • A traumatic event, specifically the death of Sunny's older sister Mari, caused Sunny's group of best friends to grow apart, drastically altering the next four years of their lives. The quiet Sunny became an utter shut-in, the sweet-yet-somewhat-grouchy Aubrey became a mean and cynical delinquent, the friend-loving gardener Basil became more timid and neurotic than ever, the usually versatile and studious Hero fell under a year of depression, and the adventurous Kel did his best to focus on what made him happy. Fortunately, Kel eventually managed to coax Sunny out of his house, and the two helped everyone else remember how much their old friends care, effectively getting the group to reconcile.
  • However, while Sunny, Kel, Aubrey, and Hero had a sleepover at Basil's in an effort to comfort him before Sunny moved away from Faraway Town, Sunny found out the terrible truth he repressed for so long: Mari didn't actually commit suicide like Kel, Aubrey, and Hero believed. Sunny accidentally pushed her down the stairs amidst a heated argument they had over their recital. In a panic, Basil and Sunny hung Mari's corpse under a tree in Sunny's backyard to frame it as a suicide. This furthered the two boys' trauma and shaped the respective hallucinations only called "Something" that stalked the boys for the next four years of their lives. Once Sunny woke up and managed to check on Basil, the two wound up in a surprisingly brutal fight that ended with Basil stabbing Sunny's eye with his garden shears in an attempt to destroy Sunny's Something, and they were rushed to a hospital.
  • As Sunny regained the precious memories he lost, he faced his own maladaptive defense mechanism, Omori, but ultimately couldn't barrel through his issues. All he could do was accept his guilt as a part of him and move on with his life nonetheless, refusing to succumb just as Omori refused to succumb. Once Sunny was fully prepared to tell his other friends about the truth about what happened to Mari, Omori and the Somethings subsided for good.
  • No one is certain how each of Sunny's friends reacted to his confession. It was certainly quite the surprise that Mari didn't really kill herself, but Kel is widely considered to be the most forgiving, having grown into the group's Only Sane Man. However, speculation has varied to how well Aubrey and Hero would take it, let alone how easily Sunny and Basil would be able to forgive themselves. Nevertheless, a few months after Sunny moved to the city, they eventually decided on another reunion for old times' sake, and took a trip to the Pantheon. Many of the gods and goddesses present rejoiced (with some bittersweet sobbing) upon seeing the gang on much better terms now, and the Court of the Gods was happy to nominate Sunny and his best friends as Deified Quintet of Dismantled and Rebuilt Friend Groups.
  • Applies to the whole group or largely to multiple members:
    • The five have bonded strongly as True Companions, and have frequently sought and still seek to strengthen bonds that other people closely make with each other.
      • One time, Kel helped a shut-in similar to Sunny go downstairs to celebrate his birthday with his dad. Hero noticed it unusual how Kel sometimes seemed like the responsible one recently, but he and Sunny found the interaction heartwarming anyway.
      • Some find this to have largely resulted from issues with their own respective families. Kel is somewhat estranged from his parents due to their favoritism towards Hero, Aubrey's mother never put in much effort to take care of her, Basil was raised by his grandmother and caretaker due to his parents going on too many business trips to spend much of his life with him, and how well Sunny's doing with his parents isn't well-known. The friends resultingly became like a Family of Choice, albeit at the cost of them being further devastated without Mari, the only real link holding the group together.
      • Sunny and his friends appreciate the bonds that the Wayfinder Trio and many Undertale deities developed in particular, but they dislike the Child Abuse Supporters' use of familial connections for evil, as well as Felix's utter faking of close friendship.
    • As members of the House of Friendship and Camaraderie, the five were befriended by Emmet Brickowski, and they sometimes build beautiful things with the use of LEGOs. It feels nostalgic for them to do so, furthering their rememberance of what it is like to be kids.
    • Sunny, Basil, and Kel have recently learned not to bottle up their grief, and they took the time and effort to understand one another's emotions immediately prior to their ascension. The personified emotions of Inside Out fame gained the group's attention for this (and Disgust is relieved that there isn't much of a reason for what she embodies to be a prominent emotion where Sunny and co. are from).
    • The friends sometimes visit the Hall of Dreams and Nightmares, to find out what Sunny's time in Headspace was like and how it affected him. They took the flanderized versions of their past friendships with humor, but it all eventually got old. Sunny seems to avoid the Hall anyway, out of fear of resumed emotional repression.
    • One day, Sunny woke up to find everyone around him gone, and the landscape a hollow, monochrome area. Approached and frightened by a strange glowing triangle, Sunny was quick to shy away from the nefarious dealmaker. Once Sunny warned his allies, he learned more about Bill Cipher's invasion of dreams (and bodies!) as a means of fulfilling his sinister goals... and him being a geometric figure with a single, lidded eye... no one was happy with that.
    • When it comes to the Flower Motifs Basil assigned to his closest friends, the sunflower represents Basil's desire for an optimistic outlook on life, the lily of the valley represents Mari's past bringing of peace and unity to the friend group, the rose represents Hero's versatility and popularity, the gladiolus represents Aubrey's determination and strength of character, the cactus (a plant, but not a flower in and of itself...) represents Kel's resilience and hardiness, and the white tulip represents Sunny's frequent quietness and simplistic aesthetic - and the beauty of such.
    • Aubrey and Kel seem to bicker a bit more harshly than they did in the past, but they both recall Aubrey's bullying of Basil that made it devolve from their past friendship prior to Sunny leaving his house.
    • That said, the friends find it ironic how Aubrey introduced Basil to them, yet ended up bullying him so much while the group was disbanded.
    • Sunny and his friends often hang out with the Doki Doki Literature Club, whose members are intrigued by Sunny's love for reading, comics, and poetry.
    • The friends aren't sure what to think of Princess Azula. Her feelings of abandonment certainly contributed to how she currently acts. Sunny and co. had high hopes for her prior to realizing that she, unlike Sunny and Aubrey, still refuses to own up to her misdeeds.
  • Applies to both Kel and Hero:
    • Kel and Hero occasionally compare their heights. The former recently had quite the growth spurt, so such difference is much harder to discern now. Sunny seems to have helped the brothers decide who is taller, but keeps silent on the matter.
    • The brothers bonded with Ron Weasley. They each have a bit in common, but such things aren't the same:
      • Kel and Ron, while not quite suffering to the extent of their respective companions, felt no less relatable for it, due to them not being particularly confident in themselves and being unfavorites of sorts in their respective families.
      • With Ron being known to some as "The King" and his last name being somewhat akin to Kel's given first name, Kel someimtes wonders how a "Kelsey is our King" tune would work out.
      • Both Ron and Hero are severely arachnophobic and have been assumed by some to be less kindly than they really are. While Hero is sometimes thought to be the least forgiving out of Sunny's friends, many exaggerations of his reaction are in good fun. Hero does feel pretty bad about people genuinely hating Ron enough to seriously vilify him, though.
    • Kel being overshadowed by Hero is often found to be akin to Luigi being less popular and well-known than Mario, but the roles are a very different story for the brothers' personalities, with both Kel and Mario being more brash and mischievous than their respective brothers.
  • Applies to Sunny:
    • One of the first people the friends met was Takuto Maruki, a therapist interested in the Metaverse (a realm shaped by human cognition). He empathizes with the time Sunny spent stuck in Headspace, and occasionally supports him through his remaining guilt and grief. Sometimes, Sunny decides to bring his friends along so they can continue dealing with what they went through together.
    • Due to the immense repression and scary hallucinations he incurred, Sunny is implied to have suffered from dissociative amnesia. Furthermore, Sunny and his friends regard Omori as more of a face of Sunny's emotional repression than a real Split Personality.
    • Sunny's experiences as a mentally ill shut-in were comparable to those of certain other deities he befriended, but there are important differences for many of such:
      • Sunny met Mary at one point. The two found out that they both used their dreams to cope with their trauma, but Mary was forced to be a shut-in, where Sunny had more of his own volition involved. For several reasons, Mary is forbidden from talking to Sunny as her real self, Mari.
      • The group became interested in Scott Pilgrim's Medium Awareness, and Sunny currently sees Nega Scott as a foil to Omori. While Omori existed to bury the truth of Sunny's entire past via perpetual RPG loop, Nega Scott worked to get Scott to face his past actions.
      • Another contrast made in this likeness ensued once Sunny met Madeline, whose disesteemed anxiety and pessimism physically manifested while she climbed a magical mountain. Madeline was eventually forced to learn to work with Badeline as an ally, while Omori's attempts to shield Sunny from his existing trauma caused him to embody an unhealthy coping mechanism, and Omori as a personification of Sunny's guilt vanished once Sunny managed to make peace with such guilt. However, barreling through their respective issues proved to be impossible for both Sunny and Madeline.
    • Madotsuki and Sunny consider one another friendly rivals over not only them both being Knife Nuts, but also Black Space, having consisted of the most repressed parts of Sunny's memories, being an inverse-Whole-Plot Reference to where Madotsuki is from.
    • Harbingers of nightmares frighten Sunny in general, but one being stands out in particular: The Oni. Madotsuki told him about it, and everyone learned that it, like the forementioned Bill Cipher, has no standards and looks a lot like Something.
    • Certain deities wondered how Sunny is doing with the lost eye of his. Initially having to wear an eye patch, he eventually got a glass eye prior to the friend group's ascension. However, since Sunny's eye got stabbed instead of slashed into in his scuffle with Basil, this isn't accompanied by a scar of that sort.
  • Applies to Basil:
    • Basil frequents the House of Plants, and has introduced its members to the meanings of various flowers he has grown. While plants are often associated with peace and calmness, the proportion of friendly faces in the house is only so much, so Basil is wary of the House's depths.
    • Due to how devoted Basil is to his best friend Sunny, some wonder if the former is in love with the latter. This has largely resulted from Basil not only sharing Sunny's timid and gentle disposition, or even him taking Aubrey's blame from Sunny or Omori for scribbling out photos of Aubrey's older sister figure Mari (which was done in an attempt to repress Sunny's memories), but also Basil being willing to hide the fact that Sunny accidentally killed his sister, not to mention him deluding himself into believing that Sunny could never have killed her, even by accident. The shared trauma of this horrible secret eventually caused Basil to try to kill himself (and a small number of deities suspect that Basil wanted to take Sunny with him). In response, the two boys currently seek to prevent their relationship from being overly codependent, which Yuki Ashikaga seems relieved at.
    • Basil dislikes taking pictures of people while they're smiling for the camera. Many other photographers resultingly found the idea of capturing people living in the moment to be wise.
    • Basil became quite close to Asgore Dreemurr and Toriel. Their love for gardening piqued his interest and reminded him of how much he learned from his caretaker Polly (as well as his late grandmother), and they all sometimes spend time together to expand their knowledge on their shared passion. Though Basil helped Asgore and Toriel get along again, the latter two still only view each other as friends.
    • Basil has been subject to a few nicknames, but he doesn't seem appreciative of his name sounding similar to "Brazil" for... some reasons.
  • Applies to Kel:
    • Kel has enjoyed playing different kinds of games his whole life. He enjoys playing basketball with the likes of Michiru Kagemori and Tetsuya Kuroko (and he looks up to basketball star Michael Jordan), and is well-known across the Pantheon for his compliments and critique of the video games he discovered. The Wii Fit series' codification of Exergaming fascinates him in particular (and excites him with gameplay his friends won't curbstomp him at).
    • While Kel was much less emotionally unstable than his childhood friends once were, he still has had some issues with running from his grief, even while remaining fully aware of it. He and Emi Ibarazaki seem to have spent a long time with all their remaining loved ones at arm's length, even though they know their reasons for such to slightly differ.
    • He spent some time searching the Pantheon for his beloved Orange Joe, and encountered a strange vending machine that can dispense any liquid substance. He spoke of what he wanted to order, but the staff was alarmed and told him about what happened last time someone wanted a cup of "joe". He was quick to turn back, but now he's happy that his close friends occasionally buy the soda for him.
      • Aubrey still finds the drink to be disgusting, though, and she tried arguing with Kel for twenty minutes about it.
      • Curiously, Kel hates milk compared to when he was a child. Many people have tried to guess how this came to be.
  • Applies to Aubrey:
    • Once Aubrey learned of Cerebus the Aardvark's association with darkening of tone, she described the sheer extent to which she changed as a person. This gave the two more insight into how easily people's identities and mindsets can be deconstructed and reconstructed.
    • A good number of victims of Parental Neglect (at best) and poverty, namely Natsuki and the Curtis Gang, related to Aubrey's home "life" and (just like Cerebus) how it contributed to her current personality.
    • Aubrey's newer friends and lifestyle are reminiscent of Japanese Delinquents like the Tōhōshinki, and the Hooligans' use of scooters and/or bikes to move around (and not committing the worst of gang activity) are akin to a certain subculture of such.
    • Aubrey's use of blunt weapons for combat has lead people to compare her with other baseball bat weaponizers, most notably Ness, Bad Girl, the Batter, and the Scout. Like her friends, Aubrey is friendly to Ness, but doesn't know what to think about the relatively amoral examples.
    • Despite her change in personality, Aubrey still finds fluffy bunnies to be adorable, enjoys the presence of such animals, and has befriended the Doom Slayer over his own love for such (as well as his loss of his own pet rabbit, Daisy). Aubrey occasionally lets him visit her own pet rabbit, Bun-Bun.
  • Applies to Hero:
    • Hero has seemed to lack physical fitness as a kid. His Headspace self wasn't very swift in a fight and had to rest for quite a bit after any strenuous physical activity. This is unlikely to be the case now, as he recently and single-handedly saved both Sunny and Basil from drowning in their old hangout spot's lake. Nevertheless, few think he's much stronger than Kel.
    • He's able to gain the respect of other Supreme Chefs, even Gordon Ramsay, for the cooking skills he developed. Contrary to Hero's typically soft-spoken demeanor, however, he (as well as the competent cooks he befriended) is quite upset about the abysmal cooking of the Mafia of Cooks.
    • Due to Mari ostensibly committing suicide and Hero blaming himself for having no idea why, he gave up his dream of growing up to be a chef, desiring to become a psychologist in order to prevent others from suffering Mari's "fate". Hero still feels rather guilty that he couldn't notice Mari's perfection getting to Sunny's head and contributing to her untimely death, still blaming himself to an extent for such.
  • "Waiting for something to happen?"

DEMOuntable Next Integrated Capability Armor (DEMONICA)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/demonica_standard.png
The standard gold model worn by the Schwarzwelt Investigational Team
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/black_demonica.png
The black variant worn by Jack's Squad and the Black Samurai
  • Class Level: 5
  • Appearance: A high-tech combat suit that comes in either gold and green, or black and red
  • Museum Check: Denied, later Granted upon Tadano Hitonari's ascension
  • Alignment: True Neutral, as it depends on its wearer
  • Portfolio: Powered Armor, Magic-Technology Compatibility, Field Scanners, Adaptive Armor, Magikarp Power, Modular Adaptability
  • Notable users: Flynn (has gotten his hands on both versions), Tadano Hitonari (all six incarnations)
  • Interested Parties: X-COM, most deities from the house of War, General Shepherd, Senator Armstrong, the God-Emperor of Mankind, The Phantom Thieves of Hearts, the Grineer, the Corpus, the Hazardous Environment Combat Unit, Black Ops, SCP Foundation, Global Occult Coalition
  • An advanced combat suit developed and sponsored by the United Nations, originally intended for all-environment use, which exceeded all expectations when it was shown to be an excellent choice for survival in the chaotic terrain of the Expanse (the Schwarzwelt). Its superior modular programming allows for an unprecedented degree of customization. Its worth was further confirmed when it was later proven capable of communicating with, allowing the user to recruit, and/or taking down demons thanks to the installation of a variant of Akemi Nakajima's Demon Summoning Program.
  • Externally resembles a Cyberman, who have no comment so far on these suits.
  • A couple of DEMONICA suits were found, disassembled, in a certain Tokyo. While still excellent military gear, it appears a botched reverse-engineering job significantly lowered its abilities, removing most of its Adaptive Ability in favor of more conventional armor. Flynn currently seeks to repair the damaged set he owns, and if possible, augment it by using his faithful AI companion Burroughs as the navigational AI for the armor.
  • There are two known variants: one in mostly black with red details, and another in gold with a green undersuit. While the black suit is more combat-oriented, the gold variant is significantly more powerful.
  • Several parties in the Pantheon became interested in acquiring DEMONICA technology. Most of the groups in question are military-affiliated deities or groups such as X-COM, most deities from the house of War, General Shepherd, and Senator Armstrong in particular. They intend, for the most part, to mass produce and use them against any and all potential enemies, all of them having been impressed by the suit's aforementioned combat capabilities. Not to mention The Grineer and the Corpus, alongside profiting off of it with the latter.
    • Likewise, the God-Emperor of Mankind wants to make the gold variant standard issue armor for the Imperial Guard, seeing it as the ultimate weapon against Warp incursions (an armor that allows baseline humans to go toe to toe with Physical Gods and enables them to gain control over demons seems like a dream come true) though he wants to see if he can't tweak it so it comes with a gold undersuit too. And maybe add a few skulls for good measure.
    • Interestingly, there one demon who managed to acquire a personalized variant of the gold and green version. Said demon, one Jack Frost, has been training under Sergeant Hartmann. This particular one is different in that he actually passed and survived the Drill Sergeant's Training from Hell. When he finally earned the right to wear the DEMONICA, he became known from then on as Demonee-Ho, and quickly gained a reputation for his 100% success rate during operations in the field.
    • One can also count the Hazardous Environment Combat Unit and the Black Ops among the interested parties. While the former already have the pretty impressive PCV in their arsenal, the DEMONICA's even more advanced capabilities might just give them the edge they need to fight more powerful aliens and monsters that litter the Pantheon. Both the SCP Foundation and the Global Occult Coalition would also be heavily invested in researching the DEMONICA and how they themselves can use it.
  • With Tadano Hitonari's ascension to the Pantheon (and them being surprised to discover that the DEMONICA was in the Pantheon's Treasury), a change of policy was in consideration in regards to requisitioning and reverse-engineering it. Thus this gave the Grand United Alliances of Good, Law, and Chaos a head start in research. The GUAs of Evil, Destruction, and Machines are now dedicated to capturing the Hitonaris in order to requisition their DEMONICAs for themselves. Other independent forces not among the above who have interest in the suits are trying the same.
  • Because this suit improves by killing enemies, pacifist combatants will have a hard time making it stronger, though they can still use and recruit demons with it. One can still get it stronger by having their summoned demons kill on their behalf, though.
  • The Phantom Thieves of Hearts (including Akechi) have also been seen with DEMONICA suits on occasion, though these are just outfits and nothing more. Some interest has been drawn to obtain real suits for themselves, though there's the whole "kill foes to give it power" thing, but Metaverse Shadows might qualify for that.

Kumiko Yamaguchi, Goddess of Psychologist Teachers (Yankumi, Mr. X, Gokusen, Kumicho, Masked Fighter)

  • Domain(s): Teachers, Mathematics, Yakuza, Psychology
  • Heralds: Shin Sawada (her star student, boyfriend, and aspiring Yakuza lawyer), Fuji Kuroda VI (her tosa dog)
  • Followers: Hitomi Shinonome, Lou Anne Johnson, Morrie Schwartz, Gabe Kotter, Professor Max Schneider
  • Allies: Eikichi Onizuka (Distaff Counterpart), Charles Xavier, Frasier Crane, John Keating, Gentaro Kisaragi, Kazuma Kiryu, Koro-sensei, Byleth Eisner
  • Enemies: Biff Tannen, Agatha Trunchbull, Dr. Angus Mumby, Lucius Malfoy, The Death Busters, Terence Fletcher
  • Opposed by: Tatsu Yamashiro/Katana
  • Respects: Draco Malfoy
  • Conflicting Opinion: Albus Dumbledore
  • Teachers are supposed to help their students be prepared for the real world after graduation. Some of them take the extra mile and help their students with all sorts of social issues. No degree of psychology actually required, that's what defines a Psychologist Teacher.
  • Kumiko Yamaguchi, fresh out of university, applied for a job as a teacher in Shirokin High School, an all-boys school renowned for being full of delinquents. She was put in charge of the worst class in the school — class 2-D, but despite their rowdiness, she was more than equipped enough to handle any trouble a bunch of snot-nosed kids can cause, given that she's an heriess to a Yakuza clannote , which she keeps secret (though she and the whole clan weren't that good at keeping secrets) due to schools being intolerant of gangs and people of dangerous backgrounds though the principal turns out to have hired her specifically due to her background, and the entire school eventually finds out near the end, but preferred to keep her either way. Throughout the rest of the series, Kumiko wins over her originally mistrustful students and improves their lives for the better, both through talking things out with them and a helpful dose of the Yakuza code.
  • Kumiko's reason for being a teacher is because of back when her younger adopted siblings were allowed to graduate as long as they don't attend the graduation ceremony. After realizing that schools have been forgetting the real value of students and throwing out those who don't abide by the group rule, she decided she would help those impoverished students.
  • It was the end of another day at Shirokin teaching delinquents when she arrives home, only to see a mysterious person with a letter of recommendation to a place called Elysium Academy. They told her to read it in private before she makes any decisions. One private read later, she found the offer acceptable and eventually earned a spot in the Pantheon.
  • Just to get things out of the way, her Yakuza background is now made known from the start, given how poorly she and her clan are at keeping secrets, even if she might try to pass it off as being a fan of Yakuza media. And because the students for the most part are far smarter than Shirokin's (not that that's hard), and some of the idiots might not even notice any facade she might try to pull off, it would be disrespectful to assume they're fools. That said, they're not that ciritcal of her background, or at least it's not grounds for being fired.
  • Thanks to her background and experience with delinquents, she has no problem disciplining them when they get too rampant. She's heard that The Tōhōshinki and Tatsumi Oga are from schools filled with them, just like Shirokin High. Thankfully, they've progressively mellowed out.
  • As a teacher who helps with her students' issues, she's gotten along with others who do the same, such as Eikichi Onizuka, Charles Xavier, Gentaro Kisaragi (who himself was a delinquent in his school days, though it's more from much of the elitism of the alumni than anything), Rean Schwarzer, and Byleth Eisner (though the whole could-be-either-gender thing was weird).
    • As for Albus Dumbledore however, especially in light of his big plans for Harry and others throughout his years and his past with Grindelward, she's a bit more conflicted in her opinions of him.
    • Koro-sensei is another teacher that has helped his students both academically and personally, and gets along wth him despite his reputation for being an alien and being pervy, not to mention teaching how to assassinate.
  • And of course, there are the nasty teachers, such as Trunchbull (and they get into fights more than once since Agatha has a hatred for twintails, which is how Kumiko wears her hair as a teacher), and Fletcher (for his abusive methods, even if they bear exceptional fruit when it works).
  • As a Yakuza heiress, she can get antsy when it comes to law enforcement. But given her reputation in the mortal realm, she's at a truce with most of them. Of course, there are still the occasional zealot who care not for her non-evil stance, such as Inspector Javert and his allies, who try to arrest her on sight whenever they get the chance.
    • On the other hand, she's had a better encounter with fellow Yakuza deity Kazuma Kiryu after undertaking a rescue mission for one of her students. The Dragon of Dojima had been in the area, and made swift work of the fools that dared get into their crosshairs. They became fast friends after that, him sensing her good heart. (add encounter with Goro Majima?)
    • And then there was Tatsu Yamashiro/Katana, who has a vendetta against ALL people in the Yakuza due to having lost her family to them. After hearing about her from Kiryu, who fended off the vigilante with difficulty one time they crossed paths, Kumiko knew that reasoning with Katana was most definitely out of the question for the time being.
  • There was a short time where she used to moonlight as a vigilante called Mr. X, but has since ceased that activity, prefering to instead help as either a teacher or as a a Yakuza heiress. So there's no chance she's going to be confused for another Mr. X (or his daughter Miss Y) anytime soon.
  • When it comes to beating up threats to her students, she's even taken out a demon once. And with so many other supernatural stuff in the Pantheon, there are dangers aplenty of all kinds, so she'll have to pick her battles.
  • With all the jumping and kicking she does, she prefers to not wear skirts due to running the risk of doing a Panty Shot, though she will if she has to. Someone suggested she get some Modesty Shorts for such situations.
  • Got entangled with some of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts after seeing Ryuji, Makoto, and Haru going up against a tough-ish monster and giving them the initiative via a Dynamic Entry flying kick. Once the threat was subdued and taken away, she was formally introduced to the group and what they did, and she turned out to be fully supportive of their cause. After hearing of their backstory, she stated that things would've been very different had she been at Shujin High. On the other hand, given her background, it's unlikely she would've been applicable as a teacher there anyway due to Kobayakawa not wanting someone in the yakuza as a teacher, even if he's part of the same conspiracy that had Kaneshiro in its payroll.
  • Dislikes restrictive parents who think they can do whatever they please to their children, given Shin suffered that treatment under his father (before they and Kumiko eventually came to an understanding).
  • Opposes children who abuse the power of their parents' influence (particularly authority over use of gangs) to do whatever they please, as well as parents who don't rein them in. Kumiko used to be bullied due to her background, but she never used her clan's name or asked them for help, because she believes it won't foster respect and loyalty.
    • She holds great disdain for Lucius Malfoy because of this, while respecting his son Draco for moving away from that line of thinking.
  • Is enemies with the Death Busters, as they are aliens who used a School for Scheming (founded by their Mad Scientist, Professor Souichi Tomoe/Germatoid) as a front while they worked to summon their boss Pharaoh 90 and awaken Mistress Nine. On top of their omnicidal ambitions, she isn't happy that said school is in the Pantheon as their temple.

@Omori - [tup].

This Christmas, witness these nominations happen, or something. Welp, I just realized I suck when it comes to trying to make something akin to an advertisement. Anyway...

  • Angela Sheehan - Companion Cube
    • The short film centers on a girl named Angela as she discovers a Baby Jesus statue in a church and she feels sorry for it as it feels cold. As a result, she steals the statue and tries to take it home so that she could keep it warm and safe. Given her Christian background, Angela talks to it as if it were a real person and does the best to make sure she fulfills her goal as she thinks it would being happiness for her family and for Limerick in Christmas.
  • Buddy - Manchild
    • Buddy is a man who, when an infant, was accidentally stowed away by Santa Claus during Christmas time. Being adopted, Buddy was raised alongside Christmas Elves in the North Pole and when he dilecides to go to New York to reconnect with his father, his upbringing shows; he finds it hard to adjust to society and despite being an adult, his mannerisms and actions are akin to that of an annoying child, which ends up annoying those he comes into contact as due to being extremely naive and childish, he comes off as being Innocently Insensitive.
  • Kuai-Liang/Sub-Zero - Blue Means Cold (Rework)
    • Sub-Zero is the primary character in the franchise to be using cryomancy as his main power set and as way to be identified for it, he is always wearing blue. Sub-Zero is extremely proficient in his use of ice when it comes to combat, his base of operations as leader of the Lin Kuei is set on a snowy mountainside, and is one of the most famous cryomancers in entertainment fiction, let alone video games.

Additional Notes:

  • Angela is a real-life person as the narrator is her son, though it's unclear whether it's Frank or Malaxhy McCourt as well as the story being based on a real-life tale told by their mother. That said, I am intending to strictly focus only on the animated adaptation of Angela as a way to affirm that I am doing this to represent her animated films, first and foremost.
  • Manchild is currently taken by Misato Katsuragi, though she also has Stacy's Mom and I would personally argue that Buddy is a better example of the earlier trope than Misato is.
  • Sub-Zero's profile looks to be unpolished and a lot of what appears to texts based upon on the old days remain. I am intending to refurbish and I prove his profile to better modern standards.

[up][tup] for all three.

Posting these suggestions here. Two are reworks of old profiles under a new trope, while the last one is a new profile taking a trope from an older profile.

  • Sergeant John Basilone, Patron Saint of War Heroes - Currently holds Sergeant Rock. While he does demonstrate the former trope throughout the series, there's far more focus on his heroic actions on Guadalcanal, his subsequent awarding of the Congressional Medal of Honor, his subsequent tour of the US as a Propaganda Hero selling war bonds, his status as a Shell-Shocked Veteran eventually surfacing, and his established reputation amongst his men as a badass and supposedly invincible hero. Since the series is Based on a True Story complete with a Foregone Conclusion, it ends with his sacrifice in helping men off the beach on Iwo Jima. Of note is that he's the only main protagonist in the series who ends up as this, with Robert Leckie and Eugene Sledge mainly being known for the books they would write well after the war.
  • Black Cat Mantaray 5-4, Patron Saints of the Gunship Rescue - Currently hold Guy in Back, while the current holder of Gunship Rescue has a woefully underdeveloped profile. While they do demonstrate the former trope (in the form of three crew members being this trope, including the Player Character), the level they're featured in is better known for the second half, where, despite having been damaged in an earlier raid against Japanese shipping, the titular Black Cats jump into danger once more and succeed in saving the lives of several American sailors from attacking Japanese aircraft and torpedo boats. Interestingly, they're both on the giving and receiving end of this trope, gunning down enemies attacking damaged ships and drowning sailors, and later, getting rescued by US Navy fighter aircraft when their own guns run out of ammunition at the end of the level.
  • Chief Aviation Radioman James Murray and Aviation Machinist's Mate Bruno Gaido, Holy Rear Gunners of the Pantheon - Currently held by the aforementioned Black Cat Mantaray 5-4, an aging and increasingly outdated profile, which I plan to rework under a different trope. Two notable flight crew aboard the USS Enterprise in early to mid 1942, both men serve as the radiomen slash rear gunners for their respective SBD Dauntless pilots, Lt. Dick Best and Lt. Clarence Dickinson/Ensign Frank O'Flaherty. Both men prove to be competent at their jobs, saving their pilots, and in Gaido's case at one point, the Enterprise herself, from numerous attacks by attacking Japanese aircraft. Without them, the main characters would have ended up either killed or without a carrier to fight on. The SBD Dauntless itself is one of the more famous aircraft to feature this trope, being featured in numerous media from books to film with its rear gunner seat occupied, often manning the machine gun.

Graduated law school and entered politics at twenty-one. And now, Prime Minister of Poland at twenty-nine, which makes her the second-most powerful politician just below the President. Thanks to Cody Travers and Mike Haggar sponsoring her, the Right Honorable Lidia Sobieska has ascended to the Pantheon.
  • The first Polish-born martial artist to ever grace the Pantheon, Lidia's ascension is indeed a cause for celebration. But while some look on with great interest, measuring her potential, others are watching her with great concern, debating on if she could either be friend or foe.
    • For Heihachi Mishima, Lidia is for him, firmly in the latter. The young upstart had the gall to demand that he pull his Tekken Force out of Poland. Heihachi's response? A letter, praising her for her accomplishments, and a warning for her not to oppose him. Now that Lidia has ascended, Heihachi has another problem aside from his son and grandson, as Heihachi is expecting the upstart to address her grievances to him personally.
    • The Illuminati also shows interest in Lidia. Such raw potential and such passion could be molded into something far greater. Becoming Prime Minister before 30 is impressive. Gill and Urien are now watching Lidia with great interest.
  • As a highly-skilled practitioner of Shotokan Karate, Lidia's ascension has put the martial arts community on notice. Before going into politics, Lidia planned on devoting herself to martial arts. Now, with her ascension, this opens the doors to new challenges and new opportunities.
    • While not a practitioner of Shotokan Karate, Makoto's Rindou-kan Karate has several similarities with Shotokan Karate. As a result, both Lidia and Makoto became fast friends.
    • Through Liu Kang, Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, Lidia is recommended to visit the the deified Lin Kuei boss, Kuai Liang. The suggestion is soon made clear when Lidia sees Kuai performing the Kanku Dai, a traditional Shotokan kata. Yup, Sub-Zero is a certified master of Shotokan Karate.

I was thinking that Ben and Gwen Tennyson needed a revamp.

I think Ben would be the perfect candidate for Swiss-Army Hero as that is basically the pitch of Ben 10. By the end of Omniverse, he has oner 60 different aliens forms he can take on.

I don't have a new trope for Gwen yet, but I'm working on it. Finally, I think you could give their current trope (Relationship Writing Fumble) could be given to one of their followers, but I don't know enough about them to write it myself.

However, after discovering a Jewish girl named Elsa Korr that hid in his house, he started to change his mind and reject the Nazi ideology, especially after his mother who was a secretly working against the Nazis, was hanged by the Gestappo. When the Allies siegued Berlin, Jojo managed to survive (alongside his best friend from the Hitler Youth, Yorki) and after being spared from execution by the sacrifice of his friend and mentor, Klenzendorf, was able to fully leave the Nazi ideology behind, kicking his imaginary Hitler friend off a window and he and Elsa went on to have a rejoice dance on the streets now that they were free of the Nazi's grip.
  • Jojo ascended after the events of World War II passed, landing in the Pantheon in a quite strange situation for his perspective, especially given the variety of deities around, particularly those involved in World War II with either the Axis powers or the Allies. For the most part he's a small player but does follow some heroic deities around which he considers the most admirable.
  • Right off bat he became quite the admirer of the superhero Steve Rogers/Captain America, known for his fight against the Third Reich and HYDRA in World War II and remnants of theirs throughout the years. Johannes was quite interested in hearing of Steve's exploits and adventures, particularly those involving him fighting the forces of HYDRA in the present day, which Jojo found disturbing to hear about since it seems even the passing of decades does not fully erase the influence of Nazi Germany from the world. He's also shared his experiences about the war and losses which Steve empathized a lot given his own trauma and bad experiences in World War II.
  • Izetta made a connection with Jojo over the issues of persecution by a fascist Germanic army and subsequently having to face the horrors of World War II both through personal afflictions and those of other people hurt by the regimes. Jojo was also surprised to learn that Izetta was a legitimate magical girl, unlike the delusions that the Hitler Youth tried to sell him about Jewish people. Jojo also admires her for her bravery and decision all on her own to take on the fascist forces of her world, in spite of having no personal reason to do so herself.
  • It's no surprise to anyone that Jojo LOATHES Nazis with all his being, as not only did he witness the true cruelty and horror of the Nazis, but he even lost his beloved mother to the Gestapo. As such their presence in the Pantheon was not something he liked to see. Prime among these deities was Johann Schmidt/The Red Skull, infamous leader of HYDRA who has close ties to the Nazis and at times even works towards reigniting their ideology in the present. But Schmidtt isn't alone in this regard.
    • Heinz Bohm, Franz Vahlen, and Wilhelm Strasse are all known Nazi war criminals who have ascended into the Pantheon and thus called Jojo's attention and disgust. He particularly has a massive loathing for Heinz Bohm, whose horribly inhuman actions and torture of innocents didn't sit well with Jojo at all, especially with how utterly depraved he was, even compared to many Nazis that Jojo personally met. Franz Vahlen also called Jojo's attention with his support of various war crimes even before World War II, such as the use of poisonous gas in trenches and subsequent support of brutal techniques in war. Strasse himself also stood out for the sheer scope of his depraved actions and continued assistance towards the twisted depravity of the Third Reich long after Hitler's fall.
    • He dislikes Nazi Germany troops just as much as the leaders, even if he knows many soldiers are misguided or ignorant to the truth of their cause. Stands out include the Waffen Infantry, Waffen Officers, Waffen Senior Troopers, Waffen Storm Leaders and Nazi Storm Elites, and the Valkyrie Jager. While Jojo is hopelessly outmatched against such foes he does support the actions of the likes of Captain America and allies in bringing them all down.
    • The organization Shocker was born of both remnants of the Nazis and their Japanese allies as well as insane cultists who desired to conquer the world under the visions of the Great Leader. The similarly hateful ideals of the organization and willingness to house and further the agendas of ex-Nazis and Neo-Nazis alike sickened Jojo greatly, like with the Nazi Germany infantries he's not really suited to fighting them head-on and thus lets the likes of the Kamen Riders and other heroes handle that issue.
  • In addition to the Nazi deities, Jojo has little good things to say about the allies of the Nazis such as Imperial Japan supporters and Italian fascists; since he knows them and many others happily aided Nazi Germany's war crimes and were also pretty terrible and cruel regimes themselves. Added to these lists were neo nazis and those who perpetrate the ideology of the Tird Reich in the modern day. Commander Masataka Shima was one of the first of these individuals, the commander being infamous for his involvement in hiding away Nazi Gold and antagonizing several american soldiers and getting away with his support of the Axis powers and post-WW2 crimes even having an American POW with him.
  • He had little positive things to say about Eric Cartman, as the boy is a fervent anti-semite who is also highly supportive of the Nazi regime on top of being quite the unpleasant asshole himself even with those two factors removed. Cartman has at times mocked and made fun of Jojo for his deformities, abandoning the Nazi regime and falling in love with a Jewish girl that did not reciprocate his feelings; though all those times ended with Cartman backing off anytime Jojo showed signs of actually hurting him as Cartman is quite the big coward. As for Cartman's friends, they don't really have much of an intent to associate with Jojo due to understanding that their association with Cartman is unlikely to give them a good reputation with Betzler, though Kyle at least appreciates to know about a kid that outgrew the Nazi ideology and respects jews nowadays.
  • Since the Americans helped liberate his town and Germany from the grasp of Nazi Germany Jojo admires the heroic American soldiers and leaders that arrived in the Pantheon, primarily President Franklin D. Roosevelt. As for the soldiers he has great admiration for Charlie Company 2nd Battalion, the leading force in D-Day, the decisive battle that started the turn of the tide against the Nazis. The deities themselves greatly admire that Jojo was able to outgrow the ideals of the Nazis in spite of being almost indoctrinated into it.
    • Similarly, BJ Blaskowicz earned Jojo's respect for his continued fight against the Nazis and all allies they have. While Jojo finds Blaskowicz quite brutal, he won't condemn his actions as he's learned about the atrocities that his foes have committed, mostly thanks to Strasse. Blaskowicz was also one to congratulate Jojo on abandoning the Nazi's ideology that tried to corrupt him.
  • The imaginary friends of Foster's Home were puzzled to know that his imaginary friend was a version of Adolf Hitler of all things possible, though have not really held it against him due to knowing how he ultimately was once just a misguided ignorant kid rather than a genuine supporter of the Nazi ideology and Hitler worshipper. He most notably became friends with Bloo, Coco, Wilt, and Eduardo as the main four were pleased to try and find a better and less horrible imaginary friend for him to spend time with.
  • Jojo made an empathic connection with Sophie Zawistowski, as he'd heard of the horrors she faced during her stay at Auschwitz all thanks to being the wife of a Jew, Sophie was at first hesitant to reach out to the boy due to his initial association with the Nazis but quickly warmed up once she knew the full picture of his change of heart and protection of his Jewish friend and unreciprocated crush, Elsa. Jojo has at times comforted her about losing one of her children, relating the grief he experienced when he lost his mother to that.
  • Salad Fingers was an odd deity that Jojo found out about, as Fingers had likely survived a great war which is implied to have had some really bad effects on his mental state and on top of that also hallucinated imaginary friends in the vast barren world he lived in, just so he could speak to someone. While Jojo finds little else to know about him, he does still find himself perplexed by the strange humanoid. As for Fingers, he finds Jojo an odd, if nice, fellow and has tried a few times to know him better only for Jojo to understandable avoid his company to Finger's disappointment.

Thanks to my newly ascended profile, the Hall of Friendship Dynamics is getting really big now. Should I split its page into A to L and M to Z?

@nightelf: I did mention a while back when you attempted to rework one of your older profiles that was going to be deleted that I couldn't trust you to do a sufficient rework of such to put it to current, stricter profile standards and this still holds true now with your three suggestions. [tdown]

Again, I should emphasize in general that when it comes to reworking an outdated profile, it means making the flavor texts and interactions more detailed and not just adding minor notes. It isn't just about making sure something fits the trope; it's about making sure the profile is at a good quality (as in, having detailed flavor text that explains interactions well) that it doesn't end up at risk of being deleted/replaced with another candidate later on.
