Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Bit late to the party, but I rememebered something important about the Guardians.

They are amongst the few characters to be killed by a retcon. One of MANY retcons designed to be written in Dr. Vile’s favor by Executive Meddling. Many fans actually loathe him (in a bad way) for this.

The fans were PISSED with this particular retcon as it contradicts their powers and abilities (personal transservers, super sonic flight, etc).

For the characters, do we include what factions that they are a part of in their bios?

@ Faso: There's always the Dovahkiin for adventurers. I think there's also a Headless Horseman that wanders out the roads of Skyrim at the dead of night.

The Guardians fight to protect humanity and for that sweet, sweet loot. On a somewhat unrelated note, I think they still celebrate Halloween even far into the Guardians' time.

Dullahans are a recurring enemy in the Castlevania games so maybe something mentioning Dracula, Richter Belmont, and Alucard?

Celty Sturluson is the only other horseman I can think of that's not on any of the bullets there.

How about Robo Speak for the Engi, then? They speak in short sentences, are very direct, and use computer terms in their speech. It's everything you'd expect out of a race of alien robots composed entirely of nanomachines who may or may not be completely mechanical.

"Likely ploy by Rebels to avoid breaking non-aggression pact with Engi. 97.56 percent likely. Your mission to assist last Federation fleet, correct? Coordinates?"
"Satisfactory. Delivery of tech will assist in Federation cause. Gratitude alone insufficient. Commencing ship repair and compensation."
"Identity: Federation? Outlier probability. Implies... revival. Implies... hope. Assistance suggested."
"Your scrap, ours. Our weapons for you."
"Engine upgrade necessary for travel home. Sale of equipment necessary for engine upgrade."

  • Theme Song: Open My Eyes
  • Alignment: Lawful Good, with occasional shades of Chaotic Good (Diancie), Lawful Neutral (Merrick, Bort, Allotrope and Dace)

    • Z-Move: Continental Crush (the Carbink), Twinkle Tackle (Diancie)
  • Portfolios: Gem-Encrusted, Rock-type, Fairy-type, No Biological Sex
  • Domains: Rocks, Fairies, Diamonds (both), Princesses (Diancie)
  • High Priest: Taric
  • Allies: Ash Ketchum, Pikachu, Calem and Serena, Xerneas, Steven And The Crystal Gems, Calumon
  • On good terms with: Cael Cynder and Nibbler (Carbink)
  • Enemies: Team Rainbow Rocket, thieves (except Sly Cooper), Denzel Crocker, YHVH, The Master (mostly)
  • Opposes: Gem-eaters like Spike and especially Sableye, deities with power over metal
  • Conflicting Opinions: Yveltal (Diancie)
  • The Jewel Pokemon is a peculiar fairy. Formed under deep pressure hundreds of millions of years ago, Carbink is a carbuncle with gems embedded in its body. Though poor offensively, it has excellent defense. They are occasionally found in the excavation of caves. On rare occasions, a mutation can result in the birth of a Mythical Pokemon of a carbuncle, that being Diancie. Typically, it is seen as a princess of sorts and can generate beautiful and glorious pink diamonds.
  • Applies to the lot
    • Despite having a very feminine-looking appearance and being referred to as a "princess" by her Carbink followers, Diancie is genderless. Despite this, everyone still refers to Diancie as a female. The Carbink are similarly genderless, but identify as male what with being servants. Originally being apart, Diancie united with her main four Carbink servants under a single profile. They're native to the Diamond Domain.
    • They tends to stay away from dragon deities since Spike has a steady diet of gems. Spyro the Dragon has commented on the irony of a Fairy-type frightened of dragons more than once. This is especially apparent with Sableye, who despite Fairy types being the line's only weakness predates on Carbink. And their princess looks extremely delectable to the goblin. They really don't like any steel-related deities either, what with the 4x weakness and all...except for Klefki, weirdly enough.
    • The House of Commerce finds the line valuable, something which they're nonplussed with due to the greedier denizens. Smaug wants to add Diancie's servants to his collection, mainly because he finds them easier to deal with. While Dragon types are vulnerable to Fairy-type moves, it's unlikely the same elemental chart would work in their favor against the hoarding greedy dragon. The bejeweled Pokemon are also often targets of Denzel Crocker, who's obsession with FAIRIES! has him regularly try to capture the line. They'd also have the dual purpose of funding his FAIRY! locating technology.
    • As Diancie is capable of creating diamonds, and Carbink have jewels embedded in them. there are greedy deities who'd want to abuse this power. Whenever this happens, Diancie would bring up a shower of diamonds and escape while the kidnapper in question celebrates their newfound treasure... only to have it disappear within minutes. Her servants will use Sharpen and pellet opponents with Power Gem. The Thieves sub-house is the bane of their existence.
    • Yes, they are fairies. Specifically, they are based off the carbuncle. These living gems found themselves getting along with Steven Universe and his friends, given they are generally good-aligned living gems. Calumon is another Carbuncle Creature that the five sometimes converse with. While they are fairies, they don't have much in common with the actual Fairies sub-house, however.
    • They were all quite cheesed off at YHVH and Missy for certain events. Missy having a Hazy-Feel Turn isn't enough for them to be remotely close to trusting her again, especially given what a psycho her immediate predecessor and successor are.
  • Applies to Diancie
    • In one universe, Diancie is a rather mischievous princess whose main purpose is to create a Heart Diamond for her kingdom once the current one dies. However, she needed Xerneas's powers to strengthen it, first, so Diancie teamed up with Ash and his friends to search for it. She has an uneasy relationship with Yveltal due to the time where it absorbed the lives of many of her friends, including Pikachu. Diancie is just glad that Yveltal isn't evil, as she spent some time fearing. She was fearful of both Greninja and Chesnaught and Aegislash, due to the three of them trying to make off with her. However after they assured her that they were working under orders, she became good friends with them.
    • Like many Pokémon, Diancie is capable of Mega Evolution. Unlike many, she was able to Mega Evolve without a Key Stone which brought many theories around. Since then, Rayquaza, Latias and Latios, can also Mega Evolve without a stone, so no one really cares anymore. Homura nearly had a heart attack upon first seeing Diancie in her Mega Form from a distance, thinking that somehow Madoka had gotten her powers back without her knowing and was coming to take revenge for what she did. Ezreal, after scouting her from afar, has started to wonder if Diancie has been secretly granting truly outrageous gem magic to his fellow champ Taric.
    • Like most deities, Diancie changes appearance whenever she's inside Space Paranoids. Uniquely, rather than gaining armor, Diancie's headdress, prongs, rhomboid gem, and the crystal on her bottom rock change color from pink to cyan. She is the only known Pokémon to change appearance in Cyberspace, though it's currently unknown what Diancie would look like in The Grid.
    • A pretty pink princess, Diancie hangs out with other pink princesses in hopes of support for protecting her home. She and Princess Bubblegum had a discussion about how they learned to control and master their elemental powers, being jewel and candy respectively.
  • Applies to the Carbink
    • They were initially brought to the pantheon by Steve digging them up when trying to get diamonds. This was confusing to some because Steve was digging in Reflection Cave, and the four ascended Carbink were native to the Diamond Domain. As it turns out the Carbink who initially ascended under Gem-Encrusted was leaving and they were saying goodbye. Apparently Reflection Cave is also the connection to a Mirror Universe, which has made the area of interest to the House of Time And Space.
    • Sympathetic towards Cael Cynder and Nibbler due to how they have been targeted for their natural valuables. Seems to get along with Reisen as well for being a rabbit fairy-like creature, much like themselves. Johan Anderson seems fond of the gems on Carbink's body, and they like his look.
    • While they serve Diancie, Rarity is the partner of the four Carbink. She's a natural with gem polish and stylish gems, which appeals to them. She has helped with keeping his gems polish, which is usually achieved by their fellows rubbing their soft manes. Well to be more accurate, only one of them at a time is her partner as they alternate and have to keep in mind Diancie. Merrick serves with Rarity on Monday and Friday, Bort on Tuesday and Saturday, Allotrope on Wednesday and Sunday, and Dace on Thursday.

Big MLP Rework Progress: 87.5%. Rarity Complete.

I wonder if we can make this an October 31st tradition. If only this could be part of a story segment...

This is Halloween once again, where people often end up dressing up as other people, if they're not doing the classics, and even then one could end up looking like someone else already here.

You can see the following sights:

There's no real reason why these characters dress up like this. It could've been some unnecessary elaborate prank of titanic proportions by powerful magic.

I've had him in rework pile, just that I don't necessarily know where to go with him. And in case someone might ask, it is very unlikely for him to appear in base roster of Strive.

Bridget, God of the Surprise Gender Reveal, and Patron Saint of Yo-Yos (Buri-chan, Nun Boy)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bridget_guilty_gear.png
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: His yo-yo and his teddy bear Roger
  • Theme Music: Simple Life
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Effeminate Looking Guys Who Need to Tell the Truth, Raised As a Girl Due to His Hometown's Beliefs, Uses a Killer Yo-Yo, Accompanied by a Killer Teddy Bear, Bounty Hunter, Most Normal of the Fighters
  • Domains: Appearance, Gender, Yo-yos, Teddy Bears, Nuns
  • Allies: May, Dizzy, Hasta, Ness, Amane Nishiki, Marinette Dupain-Cheng/Ladybug, Astolfo, Chevalier d'Eon
  • Afraid of: Naughty Bear
  • Bridget was born as a twin in a town where there was a superstition where the birth of same-gender twins would bring great misfortune. Because Bridget's parents didn't want to either kill or exile either twin, they decide to raise Bridget as a girl to try to play around the curse. While Bridget loved his parents all the same, he did come to realize how guilty his parents felt about doing it. As such, he decided to become a bounty hunter to gather money and proof his masculinity to show his town that their superstition is nothing but that.
  • As a note, Bridget does not try to hide the fact that he is a man. There are only handful of people in his universe who simply assume he is a girl based on appearances (most infamously Johnny) and most of them get corrected fairly quickly. Of course that is in-universe. Out-universe is bit of an other matter.
  • Even though he started out as a bounty hunter, he does admit it has had quite a few downs to it. Such as being fed wrong info about supposed bounties, having the bounty just die before he can apprehend them or even befriending the bounty such as Dizzy. He has sought after alternate job possibilities such as an entertainer and has worked as a waiter in Jam's restaurant, even if Jam hired him to attract more customers.
    • During his search for a job, he came across Amane who invited him to join his troupe. While normally he would be more than happy to join, he was bit dubious if Amane wanted him to join it for his skills or because of something else. Ultimately he had to reject his offer, but would be more than happy to work with him in the future.
  • Is not certain if he should be flattered or not about one time when Hasta cosplayed as him. Mainly because the context for it was that he, Cuuko and Nyarko were fighting over who would be with Mahiro when they were trapped in a video game.
  • Tries to avoid Naughty Bear the best he can in the fear that he might try to attack and destroy Roger.
  • Has been teaching Ness new yo-yo techniques to make them more effective in battle for him and has even tried to get him to incorporate his occasional teddy bears into his fighting style. He is also seen training with Ladybug.
  • Has ended up becoming one of the people who gets drag along by Astolfo on his misadventures. Bridget has no problems with Astolfo on his own, but he does admit that the situations Astolfo ends up in are quite something else. Among the way he also befriended d'Eon who try to act as straight men to Astolfo's wise guy.
  • If you are questioning your sexuality due of him, don't worry; Everyone's gay for Bridget.

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!

I think the now free Evil Knockoff works better for someone already in the pantheon, but I want to know if you guys agree

  • Metal Sonic, God of Evil Knockoffs (House of Villainous Counterparts, Neutral Evil)-with Copy X being reworked with Sketchy Successor, I feel Metal is a superior choice for this trope. While his characterization has varied across the games and adaptations, the one constant is Metal Sonic is Dr Eggman's attempt to match and succeed Sonic at his own game by creating a Robot Me. Often Metal is portrayed as having a complex about this, under Inferiority Superiority Complex. Also, his profile isn't that strong right now as a whole

    • Garma: Icelina Eschonbach (his girlfriend)
  • Allies: The Zabi family is so heavily fractured with differing ideologies and philosophies that a uniform list of allies is impossible. Each family member has their own friends and allies.
  • On speaking terms with: Stephen Colbert (Degwin)
  • Headbutting Villains: Char Aznable (would be enemies if they weren't on the same side), Haman Karn (Char's Number Two, Mineva has a Special Relationship)
  • Rivals:
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Anyone on Char's side of the Zeon Civil War (full enemies for Gihren)
  • Enemiesnote : All good-aligned mecha pilots of the GUAG Robot War Division (special mention goes to Amuro Ray, Bright Noa, Kamille Bidan and Banagher Linksnote ), all who have suffered from war and its atrocities, which are too many to list here
  • Interested in and Respected by: The Primarchs (Dozle)
  • Opposes: Bask Om, Jerid Messa (all, full enemies for Mineva), the Grand United Alliance of Chaos (Gihren), Gendo Ikari, Keel Lorenz (all but Gihren, who sees them as Unwitting Pawns)
  • Opposed by: Gilbert Durandal (all), Tywin Lannister, Schneizel el Britannia (Gihren), Charles Foster Kane (Sasro), pacifist deities
  • Decades of fighting against Red Comet Char Aznable for control of Zeon remnants in the Pantheon had taken its toll on aspiring warlord Gihren Zabi, former de facto leader of the Principality of Zeon. In an uncharacteristically desperate move, Gihren decided to summon backup in the form of his family members. He made the case for sharing his trope of Colony Drop with his family to the Court of the Gods and asserted that while he came up with the plan, his family members carried it out. His brother Dozle oversaw the military occupation and gassing of the colony and the Kycilia Agency run by his sister Kycilia eliminated anyone who could give away the secret. Gihren was told that the request would come at a cost: relinquishing his second trope, A Nazi by Any Other Name. Gihren accepted the ultimatum with gritted teeth.
    • The move backfired. HARD. All but two refused to support him since he killed their father (and in Mineva's case, grandfather), with Garma pulling a Hazy-Feel Turn later on. Gihren's aggressive expansionist policies dragged the One Year War for far longer that Zeon could afford to handle and stoked Federation prejudice towards Spacenoids when they lost the war.
  • The act that propelled Gihren and his family to infamy was Operation British. The capital banchi of Side 2 (Hatte) of the Earth Federation's space colonies, Island Iffish, was doused with G3 gas, killing all its inhabitants before being set on a collision course with Jaburo, the Federation military headquarters in the Amazon rainforest. The interference of the EFSF 4th Fleet commanded by Vice Admiral Tianem separated the colony into several pieces, the largest of which would land on Sydney, Australia. The result was casualties numbering in the billions, natural disasters in the Americas and Asia where smaller pieces had landed and decades of widespread famine. What Gihren did to end the One Year War in one swift stroke only prolonged it. Anyone who's experienced the horrors of war in the Pantheon, from the infamous Final Solution to genocidal campaigns by Frieza and his henchmen view the Zabis as a catch-all for their hate. Not that they care for the opinions of the rabble.
  • As much as he hates his family (and them him), Gihren spared no expense in making them feel comfortable. The revenue Gihren made from selling off his old temple in the House of Villainous Archetypes was used to expand the grounds of his current temple to accomodate the rest of the family. This move had two purposes: one, to signal to them that he meant no harm as of yet and two, to make sure they were far away from each other at all times except at the occasional reunion which Dozle or Degwin would initiate (even then, not everyone attends these events). The Zabi family temple compound is among the largest in the House of War. The elite Zeon Royal Guards Unit resides here to protect the perceived heirs to the throne of Zeon, commanded by Colonel Eric Mansfield in his customized Zaku High Mobility Type. No military facilities are housed here out of respect for the peace of the family. The entire compound is shielded by a top-grade, quadruple-layered defensive shield with a single main entry gate for emergency aerial deliveries.
    • At its centre is Deikun Hall, the recreated parliamentary building of the Principality of Zeon. Located atop a steep plateau, this is the Zabi seat of power. Very rarely are meetings held in the building however; many know it's just a symbolic reminder of Zeon's glory days before the One Year War. The self-proclaimed "Zeon Independence Day" parade is held here every October 24th, as is the anniversary of the founding of the GUAE Mecha Cohort's Black Faction. A statue of Gihren once sat at the front; at Degwin's and Char's insistence it was torn down and replaced by a statue of Zeon Zum Deikun with his arms outstretched, just as it was in the original.
    • The southern side facing the exit is occupied by a grand fountain and garden, as well as checkpoints for registered visitors to enter. On the north, several kilometres behind Deikun Hall, connected by a stone path and a thoroughfare with several more checkpoints is the Zabi family home, an architectural wonder which the local magazine Homes for the Gods described as a "Space Age Obersalzberg". Only five people live there full-time: Degwin, his wife Naliss, Dozle, his wife Zenna, and Mineva (who prefers the term 'part-time residence'). Garma returns every so often to his 'summer home' from full-time military duty.
    • The western side houses training facilities for the Zeon Royal Guards Unit and the Zabi bodyguard service. Much of the information about this place is highly classified. The eastern and northeastern sides, houses recreational facilities for the family including a theatre, grand library, stables, a farm for in-house food and rumour has it a ten-floors-deep underground bunker complex that connects to the Main House and Council of Shadows council chamber. The latter is highly exaggerated... or is it?
  • There is one enemy the entire family shares with Char: the Titans. This Earth Federation task force created to investigate Zeon sympathizers is proof to them of the Federation's corruption and inherent desire to subjugate Spacenoids, as well as its desire to snuff out voices sympathetic to the colonies' cause. Gihren especially rails against their Pantheon representative Bask Om for being a specimen of a Federation office being given too much freedom. The family rightfully argues that the Titans descended from the honourable goal of protecting the colonies from extremist Zeon remnants into a genocidal campaign against Spacenoids, culminating in the gassing of a colony that was protesting their criminal action. All Titans present in the Pantheon scoff that Zeon forced their hand. If they hadn't crossed the line first, there would be no reason for the Earth Federation to do the same.
  • Exclusive to Degwin:
    • Degwin served as the vice chairman of the Zeon Party and Zeon Zum Deikun's Number Two. When Deikun died under mysterious circumstances, Degwin seized control of the Side 3 colonies with himself as its Sovereign. While he was definitely complicit, Degwin insists he did not order Operation British or support it in any way and was appalled when his children chose to prolong the One Year War for their own purposes. However, he could do little about it as Gihren isolated him from the public eye and become de facto leader. Tragically, he would perish in the process of peace negotiations with the enemy leader General Revil when Gihren fired the Solar Ray Cannon with both their fleets in its path, an action for which Kycilia would execute Gihren shortly after.
      • He has since admonished his warmongering children (except Garma and Sasro) for their foolishness, especially Gihren for well, killing him. If Gihren wasn't in the Grand United Alliance of Evil, Degwin would have him in shackles and sentenced to lifetime imprisonment for setting Spacenoid independence back decades. After hearing that the Republic of Zeon was stripped of its autonomy and dissolved in UC 0100, he's gotten even madder.
      • Since he can't stand his squabbling children (except Garma), he prefers spending time with his second wife Naliss. Little is known about her. His prime minister Darcia Bakharov who worked with him on the peace treaty with the Earth Federation is his chief aide, reporting on affairs from all corners of the Pantheon. His flagship, the Gwazine-class battleship Great Degwin is on standby with an escort fleet provided by the GUAE if he ever decides to oversee a battle.
    • He rarely leaves his temple due to suffering osteoporosis from long periods in space, and is considered a recluse by much of the House of War. Political commentators, biographers and reporters and talk show hosts like Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart's herald Trevor Noah have questioned him at length about his motivations and find him an engaging, if highly embittered old man. Evidence exists that Degwin may have engineered Deikun's sudden heart attack to prevent him from prematurely declaring Zeon's independence and sparking an unwinnable war with the Earth Federation. Degwin dismisses this as utter nonsense and insists that Deikun died from overwork. It still doesn't explain why he made such an effort to imprison Deikun's mistress Astraia and her children. Regardless, the honest politicians in the Pantheon consider him a pariah for stealing the liberty of his deceased partner's kin and leaving them to rot, and only leave him alone because he's all but retired from political affairs.
    • Has a ceasefire of sorts with the GUAG Robot War Division, of which its members have mixed feelings ranging from blind anger to cautious pity towards him. After learning Degwin's story, Amuro bears little rancor or ill-will towards him for starting the war and considers Gihren the prime suspect, yet refuses to have relations with him. To mediate the schisms in the GUAE Mecha Cohort, Mineva and Aiguille Delaz even banded together to organize a meeting between him and Char, his almost-Arch-Enemy turned not-so-loyal servant. Char reportedly took out his service pistol and brandished it in Degwin's face, desiring revenge for what Degwin did to his father. The assassination that followed made Char a fugitive for the next few hours before Degwin lifted the charges, saying it was a test for Char.
Degwin: So, you still desire to kill me, boy? Mass genocide and years of war against my unruly son haven't taught you anything?
Char: Don't think even for a second that years in this place have dulled my desire for vengeance. I'm still cleaning up the mess your family started!
Degwin: Casval, I'm a tired old man, sitting and dying on his rotten throne, powerless to do anything. Half my children are on your side. Your sister has moved on. What do you honestly expect to gain from killing me?
Char: I expect you to die.
Degwin: [starts laughing, security begins closing in] Here? In this place?
    Char: Yes. [fires]
    • One of the few people Degwin will leave his temple for is fellow Retired Badass Iroh. He enjoys sipping tea in the Jasmine Dragon and discussing high politics with Zuko's old uncle, who privately absolves him of all culpability for Deikun's death. To Iroh, the past is the past and Degwin knows it. Both Iroh and Degwin consider Ozai out of his gourd and just as megalomaniacal as Gihren, only with fire powers that he is unfit to wield. Ozai keeps tabs on all of Iroh's friends to find vulnerabilities and he thinks that Degwin is too soft and lacked the will to continue the fight with the Earth Federation and that Gihren was right to forcibly succeed him. He considers it a shame that Degwin decided to be magnanimous and spare his political rivals, the Rals, since Jimba Ral and his son Ramba personally spirited the Deikun children to Earth and out of his reach.
  • Exclusive to Gihren:
    • A gifted orator and planner, Gihren was in charge of the Zeon Party's political department and deftly orchestrated his father's rise to power. By the time Degwin became absolute dictator of Zeon, Gihren had become de facto head of the Side 3 Colonies. In direct defiance of Degwin's orders, Gihren masterminded the worst of Zeon's war plans including the aforementioned Operation British, intending to conquer the Earth Sphere and reform it as a utopia where Newtypes reigned supreme. He killed his own father to stall peace negotiations, but his sister Kycilia would execute him in retaliation and seize command. Gihren is unsurprisingly banned from the House of Family for his crime of patricide, not that he cares that much.
      • Gihren's chief enforcer is Colonel Killing A. Danigan, a clear Expy of his and a staunch loyalist with equally violent ambitions. Gihren was very impressed at Killing's fanatical resolve in initiating Operation Rubicon and promoted him from Lieutenant Colonel to serve as his chief of staff at his headquarters, the rebuilt A Baoa Qu. If reports are to be believed, Gihren's personal secretary Cecilia Irene is his mistress but no one dares to ask him for fear of getting a gunshot to the head. He commands space battles from his flagship, the Rewloola-class Grand Gihren, a deliberate corruption of the name of his father's flagship.
      • Gihren is among the most popular human members in the GUAE, since unlike Char who exudes charisma naturally he needs to work to maintain his charisma among the populace. Among the honours he has received include the Sinner's Cross with Blood Red Chains and Flames (the third highest GUAE award for military gallantry, below the Grand Sinner's Cross and the as of yet unawarded Grand Sinner's Cross, Blood of the Enemy) and the Order of Absolute Evil. He rivals fellow dictator Scolar Visari, a friend and rival of his as one of the GUAE's most talented orators. Gihren as such is very popular at GUAE state funeralsSIEG ZEON . His most well-received eulogy thus far has been at the funeral mourning Emperor Palpatine when Rey vanquished him for good on Exegol. This particular eulogy was regarded as a great improvement from the pithy-by-comparison speech by Sate Pestage and Mas Amedda in 1983. Even if it's for people he despises, Gihren admits to enjoying these moments greatly.
Gihren: The Galactic Emperor who was due to return to his long-awaited throne in the galaxy and reform it for the better has been vanquished by the Jedi scum! His Final Order, which would have ended eons of war and strife, has been ended by the inane actions of the loathsome Resistance! The leader of our valiant Conquest Force has been dealt a crippling blow but I tell you: we will not stand for this! Lord Vader has left us, Lord Tyranus has left us, the Confederacy has betrayed us, yet the rightful Emperor still stands tall here in the Pantheon! To the stormtroopers, remain fulfilled, for you are still agents of the Emperor! To the Hands, to Lumiya, to Sa Cuis, to Cronal, you have been rewarded with heraldry for your loyalty! To anyone else here loyal to the cause of your beloved Empire, the GUAE, and the good of the omniverse alike, I ask you to stand now! Hail to the Emperor, the rightful ruler of his galaxy!
    • Naturally, Gihren hates Char the most out of his family members. When Gihren joined the GUAE, he assumed that he was the sole leader of the GUAE Mecha Cohort. When he learnt that Char was in fact his superior, he was furious. Rising tensions would spark a civil war with Gihren rallying his One Year War supporters and MS pilots disgruntled with Char's leadership under his command. Rau Le Creuset and his sub-faction of ZAFT pilots from the GUAD have pledged their support, though Rau has his own plans for Gihren. He is the only one of the family besides Kycilia who knew Char's true identity from the beginning, making the Red Comet swear loyalty to him at one point. With the ascensions of other Wild Cards like Muruta Azrael, Lord Djibril and Gilbert Durandal, more schisms have formed in the evil mecha forces of the Pantheon, something that Gihren hopes to fix as soon as possible.
    • His big ambition is to reform the entire Gundam multiverse into a place where Spacenoids and equivalent Master Races reign supreme under his rule. The supporters he has such as radical Coordinator and former PLANT Supreme Council chairman Patrick Zala respect his resolve but given the inadequacies of the Zeon armed forces think that Gihren is arrogant and like Adolf Hitler, bases his expectations on unrealistic rhetoric. Gihren is open to ideas from his supporters and is working to improve his attitude, though his base instinct to wage war and seek only victory at the cost of innocent lives still remains. He has assembled a War Cabinet of like-minded individuals from the same multiverse as a ruling council, ready to take over once the GUAE achieves its goal of taking over the fictional Omniverse. Gihren doesn't trust anyone fully but 'trusts' these individuals to do their jobs on the basis of shared ideology.
    • Is a Hate Sink among the GUAG Robot War Division and for good reason. Denizens of the Universal Century despise him for all his war crimes and giving Spacenoids a bad rap, not to mention spawning various Zeon remnant groups loyal to him and giving reason for the Titans to launch their own campaign against Spacenoids. Gihren simply dismisses even the most powerful Gundam pilots as rubbish Feddie officers to be disposed of. Speaking of the Titans, Gihren dislikes their Pantheon representative Bask Om for his brutality but not, however for battling the AEUG who he saw as hopeless in their efforts to find a middle ground between the EFF and Neo Zeon remnants.
    • Gihren famously turned his brother Garma's state funeral into a hotbed of rage against the Earth Federation and drummed up support for himself with the historic (and inspiringly memetic) SIEG ZEON!! speech. When told of how popular that speech is amongst fans, Gihren just smirked in satisfaction. His uncanny ability to redirect others' anger towards him into fierce loyalty or at best anger towards the intended enemy attracted Big Brother's agents. Gihren absolutely fawns over the world of 1984 for how effectively free will and disloyalty is punished there. That the Two Minutes Hate is a perfected version of his Rousing Speech at Garma's funeral doesn't hurt either. He works closely with the English Socialist Party and the Grand United Alliance of Law and promises to hand them Winston and Julia should he get his hands on them. Privately, he believes that Big Brother isn't a real person and that the face used on posters and screens is that of a hapless schmuck that the Party picked off the street.
    • He enjoys gardening. No, seriously. The only reason Gihren ever returns to the Zabi family villa in the Acts of War sub-house is to tend to the Grand Garden in the estate grounds, especially the field of hydrangeas. Otherwise, he lives in his executive suite over in A Baoa Qu, away from his meddling family.
    • Gihren, being the Hitler Expy that he is has no problem rubbing shoulders with Nazi-based deities, most of whom he sees as kindred spirits. His relationship with HYDRA leader Red Skull stems from a deep-seated rivalry. Both were in the running for God of Nazism after Downfall Hitler 'resigned' before Schmidt won out. Gihren accepted the loss with grace and the two maintain warm relations, happy to exchange ideas for world domination and the subjugation of liberty to their respective wills. Schmidt and by extension HYDRA's High Council think Gihren too egotistical for his own good but will secure as much resources from his as possible before his hubris gets the better of him. Gihren is happy to provide Shocker (especially Colonel Zol, a former SS officer) resources in exchange for support in his civil war with Char, and is rumoured to be behind a sudden re-emergence of the Devil Gundam in a joint project with the organization.
    • While similar to Schneizel el Britannia, the two don't see eye to eye. Gihren was confused since they both believe in using force to maintain control and usurped their fathers. Even then, Schneizel finds Gihren too cruel and at times damagingly petty for his liking, and pointed out that he doesn't even believe in his social darwinism, unlike Charles. All he wants is to be the most powerful man in the world, and that will not work for the White Prince's vision of a world by peace through force. Gihren doesn't pay him much mind and loves to make fun of him for getting Geassed by Lelouch to serve Zero for the rest of his life with no free will whatsoever, hoping that this will enrage Schneizel and make him slip up.
  • Exclusive to Sasro:
    • Degwin's second son, Sasro was in charge of the Zeon Party's national campaign department. It was he who manipulated local media outlets to report that Deikun's death was a Federation assassination and discredit the Ral family in order to drum up anti-Federation support for his family. Unlike his siblings, Sasro would not live to see the fruits of his labour. He was killed in a car bombing after Deikun's funeral which gravely injured his younger brother Dozle. It is highly likely that Kycilia planned it because Sasro slapped her for letting Deikun's family escape into Ral protection. Sasro upon hearing of this supposed petty act of revenge moved to strike his sister again before Dozle warned him off.
    • Gihren seized on Sasro's lack of information about the One Year War to trick him into thinking Kycilia and Dozle were trying to divide the family by accusing Gihren of patricide. The false evidence presented proved convincing enough for Sasro to let loose such powerful expletivesSIEG ZEON  that even their equally angry father was drowned out. How a propagandist with likely excellent lie detection skills believed Gihren is beyond comprehension but Sasro has since become Gihren's only family ally in his "Black Zeon" faction. Thanks to his propaganda boosting Gihren's Cult of Personality, the Black Zeon faction has reached new highs in recruitment numbers. Naysayers label him Gihren's Goebbels; the irony is not lost on him.
    • While he considers them out of their depth for wartime propaganda, Sasro maintains relatively cool business relations with host Damon Killian and network producer Diana Christensen. They technically spread their own brand of propaganda, with Diana aiming for ratings by making sensationalist content that panders to the LCD. Even they consider Gihren's Newtype supremacist regime more than a bit evil and out of touch with their ideal society. Despite his misgivings of loaning his services to a known war criminal, Damon has cut a deal with Sasro for Gihren's prisoners of war to be placed in The Running Man.
    • O'Brien, at the time also a recent arrival in the Pantheon is in favour of Gihren's side in the Zeon Civil War so long as he steps aside for Big Brother when the English Socialist Party takes over from him. Sasro is in love with how the Ministry of Truth reworks the media to its liking to the point Oceania's population can be made to believe anything, even the most obvious of lies. He is perhaps a bit disturbed at how the Ministry of Love brainwashes rebels into blind loyalists to Big Brother (especially since studies have proven their methods technically impossible) but that's not his problem. He has taken note of the Party's successes in information control in order to rally supporters to his brother's cause and systematically wipe all knowledge of 'Casval Rem Deikun' from the minds of his faction's soldiers.
    • Never call him pigface. It will not end well for you. He may not look particularly handsome (he takes after his father in that regard), but it's not his fault that a close ally of his, Napoleon (aka Hate Sink personified by a pig) happens to look that way. His rule over a farm is less than impressive but Sasro views his psychological manipulation of the animals as a good framework for his indoctrination programs to follow. Additionally, Napoleon could serve as a useful meal ticket into the Harbingers Of Repression.
      • Speaking of indoctrination programs, Sasro briefly served as a guest professor in GUAE facility Kinderheim 511, and has handpicked several promising candidates for Gihren's planned Elite Army of blindly loyal MS pilots.
    • For tightly regulating what Gihren's soldiers know about the Pantheon, he is opposed on all fronts by news outlets which preach freedom of the press. Lois Lane with The Daily Planet and JJ Jameson with The Daily Bugle are among them. Lex Luthor, having usurped control of The Daily Planet dozens of times has Sasro's ear for patronage and boosting of his own power base, since both greatly dislike the free press slandering their reputations. Sometimes regarded as an Evil Counterpart of Sasro, even the famously snobbish and self-serving Charles Foster Kane despises Sasro and his cruel methods, remarking that even he wouldn't go so far as brainwashing citizens to believe in Blatant Lies about freedom and the glory of war.
  • Exclusive to Dozle:
    • At the time of Deikun's death, Dozle Zabi was an officer in Zeon's defence force with a reputation for fighting Federation peacekeepers in his youth. He was once a weak-willed man until the aforementioned car bombing that left him with scarring on his face. Just as well that Sasro was lecturing him about being too soft; the incident transformed him into a Hot-Blooded soldier. He would become an influential military commander, becoming superintendent of the Zeon military academy and coordinator of the mobile suit program. When war broke out he was placed in command of Zeon's space forces and the asteroid fortress Solomon, a role he continued to play until the Battle of Solomon where he died in combat against the Gundam. Despite being The Big Guy of the family, he has an even bigger heart. But don't mistake that for weakness. In spite of his comedic inability to be quiet and social incompetence in comparison to his more stoic siblings, Dozle is terrifying when he gets mad, especially if you hurt his loved ones. His facial scars still bleed if his anger levels go too high, making him all the scarier.
      • He met his wife Zenna when she was a cadet in the Zeon Academy (she was sent as a Honey Trap to distract him from the student-led Dawn Rebellion). She lives with Mineva in the safety of their templeSIEG ZEON . Shin Matsunaga (a childhood friend) and fan-favourite Ramba Ral are his chief enforcers, Ace Pilots of the Principality. Ramba fell out with Dozle over his refusal to cooperate with Operation British, leading to his dismissal and transfer to the reserves. Ramba still hasn't forgiven Dozle for condoning such a criminal order, and to be fair, neither has Dozle. They both agree on one thing though: the whole Gundam Vahalla theory that Mr. Ral is a re-incarnation of Ramba is complete rubbish.
    • The most outwardly violent of his family members, Dozle is ironically the most emphathetic of them, something he shares with his daughter Mineva. He enjoys waging war and vanquishing the enemy but is painfully aware that rabid nationalism comes at the cost of many lives. That is why he follows Char as his most loyal Zabi supporter; unlike his elder brother Char sincerely wants to end war between Earthnoids and Spacenoids by any means possible. Dozle may still despise him for engineering Garma's deathSIEG ZEON , but since Char protected Mineva in return he's redeemed himself in Dozle's eyes. Tension still exists, but Dozle is on friendly enough terms with Char for the latter to make house calls every now and then. Char is just as thankful for Dozle's forgiveness (as much as an emotionally-blind, unempathetic person can be) and has put him in charge of his most prized fleet in the GUAE Mecha Cohort with the Rewloola-class Midas Valkyrie as his flagship.
    • Unlike his siblings who lead from the rear, Dozle is a Frontline General personified. A funny habit of his is to perform so-called "battlefield inspections" with his custom Geara DogaSIEG ZEON  - only to lead them into impromptu raids on GUAG bases. Haman Karn (head of the Red Faction's Fleet Command) has to scramble to prevent her most capable commander from getting himself in too much danger, often ending with Dozle smashing the communications screen in anger. For his achievements at the Third Battle of Jachin Due by defending the fortress from GUAG invasion short-handed, he received a Sinner's Cross with Chains and Flames. Remember, this is the man who led the small Zeon fleet to victory in the Battle of Loum, the first large-scale engagement in the One Year War by utterly decimating the Earth Federation's most powerful fleet and capturing their leader. At only 28. In a Crapsack World like the Warhammer 40,000 world where frontline command is the norm, Dozle would be among the Emperor's most prized commanders. Lord Castellan Creed (Thrawn's high priest) and Leman Russ know this and respect Dozle as a Worthy Opponent. His mobile suit may be domitable, but his spirit is not. Dozle likes the spirit of the Cadian Shock Troops and hopes to visit the planet someday.
    • A close ally in the GUAE is Führer King Bradley, a fellow family man with a strong sense of conviction. Dozle admires Bradley's commitment to family and the nation of Amestris... even if said nation was built on a lie. He was genuinely shocked to learn of the atrocities committed by the Military along with the full extent of the Homunculi conspiracy and his so-called "son" really being the evilest of Bradley's siblings. Dozle may detest what Bradley and his Father are up to, but the man himself is engaging company be it on military inspections, going out shooting game or hanging out in the Villain Pub. Plus, anyone who can take out a tank with nothing more than a sword is worthy of respect. Likewise, the former Führer-President of Amestris is amused at what he shares with Dozle: both are family men and Blood Knights (though Bradley is more low-key) with highly comedic quirks in spite of being so ruthless. That said, Bradley will not hesitate to slaughter Dozle in an instant should his life be a threat to Father's plans.
    • Frequents bars in the surrounding houses when he's off-duty to socialize, and is a very entertaining storyteller. Fellow veteran Red Forman met him by chance at Bacchus' Bar and Grill and the two hit it off after a few drinks. Both bonded over their shared war experiences and similar cynical attitudes, yet having loving relatives who contend with their quirks. A Friendly Rival and chianti-drinking buddy at the Villain Pub is the famed Captain Ginyu. Dozle doesn't like Frieza (for obvious reasons) but he's more than welcome to indulge in his team's flamboyant antics. He had a hand in getting Jeice and Burter their custom mobile suits. Ginyu and Dozle bicker a lot over the importance of mobile suits in future GUAE campaigns, with Dozle supporting the mobile suit as the new weapon of war and Ginyu hoping that the power of battleship weapons and bodily power will continue to prevail over "those small, insignificant metal toys". Disagreements aside, they're good friends. He also fights the renegade Saiyan Army pretty often, but gets along with Bardock when the need calls for it. Fathers should stick together.
    • On the good side, Dozle is pretty affable with famed strongman Major Alex Louis Armstrong, seeing as he's The Big Guy of his illustrious military family. Though he's on the good side, Alex disregards that since he's an excellent opponent on the battlefield and an equally challenging wrestling buddy off-duty. Plus, their comedic sides tend to be very similar to each other as over-affectionate, socially awkward and comically intimidating soldiers with low-level meme status among their fans. Obviously, they won't share confidential information but troll each other sometimes for the sake of it, though it's all in good fun. Their sparring sessions are sometimes joined by Sig Curtis, herald and husband of Izumi Curtis.
  • Exclusive to Kycilia:
    • Kycilia led Zeon's Secret Police in the years leading up to war, and was in charge of hunting down Casval and Artesia Deikun when they escaped Side 3. She was instrumental in spreading Zeon influence on the Moon (her headquarters was the lunar city of Granada) and furthering mobile suit R&D. Unlike Dozle, she believed that they would replace "Big Guns" on battleships as the main weapon of war. During the war she led the special-ops Mobile Assault Force, recruiting Char Aznable when he was released from Dozle's service. She shot Gihren Zabi for his crime of Patricide in the Battle of A Baoa Qu which unfortunately divided Zeon forces and contributed to her death by bazooka shot to the face, courtesy of Char. Gihren loyalists blame the loss of the One Year War on her for killing Gihren and incompetent leadership in trying to fill the gap. An unfair complaint - they (including Aiguille Delaz and Anavel Gato) deserted en masse upon learning of Gihren's death which robbed Kycilia of any chance to lead the fleet effectively.
      • Many Ace Pilots are under her command, most importantly Commander Johnny Ridden, nicknamed the "Crimson Lightning". He is in love with Kycilia who saved him from being heckled by soldiers during a protest, even adopting a unicorn symbol as a mark of his feelings. His preferred colours, agility-based style and similar looks often led to him being mistaken for Char Aznable despite actually achieving more kills than him - 185 mobile suit and 6 ship kills. Ridden deeply resents the Red Comet for intentionally taking credit for his kills to gain plus points and eventually killing the love of his life, something he hopes to take revenge for even as they're on the same side.
      • Another enforcer is Lieutenant General M'Quve, Zeon's resident Agent Peacock and creator of the jousting-based mobile suit, the YMS-15 Gyan. Highly competent yet dangerously petty, M'Quve led a mining operation in Odessa, Ukraine which he ran as his personal fiefdom for most of the war. Ramba despises him for withholding essential Doms which, if he had them, could have annihilated the Gundam in Central Asia. M'Quve for all his flaws is well-liked by Kycilia and his soldiers and is willing to defend them (and his art) from corrupt allies and vicious foes alike. He died doing so. Now that he's back, he's got much to prove to Kycilia, what with the valuable vase he bequeathed her before dying. M'Quve is very privileged to have the ear of Grand Admiral Thrawn himself; after all, they both revere arts and culture.
    • While a cold, calculating planner and ruthless commander, Kycilia has something Gihren does not: a working soul. She genuinely loves her family and her father in particular, which is why she killed Gihren in the first place. However, information does exist that she might have engineered Degwin's death so she could launch a coup and blame Gihren for everything. Gihren obviously wasn't smiling at her return. One advantage she has is command of all of the Principality's R&D projects, intelligence departments, think-tanks and most importantly, the Newtype research facilities. Her patronage was how Char got the psycommu-enhanced Zeong. And she once again did Char a favour by joining his side of the Zeon civil war, forcing Gihren to make a deal with Azrael's Earth Alliance forces for Extended. The conversation between them was quite civil, to say the least. After all, she and Gihren were the only Zabis who ever found out Char's true identity. Char promoted her to Vice Admiral upon her induction into his forces.
Kycilia: What are my assurances, Casval, should I pass into your service? Even if Gihren has become troublesome, we have history that makes me.... reluctant to help you.
Char: You gave me a place under you when Dozle abandoned me. I gave you retribution that time. This time, I give you a reward.
Kycilia: What kind of reward? Surely I should not be in your debt, not after what you did.
Char: You don't owe me anything. But I do owe you. I give you command over production, intelligence and anything that has to do with Newtypes in my faction. You will have free rein over all matters of importance. If you choose to help me against Gihren. Will you?
Kycilia: I shall. But I will not forget.
Char: I agree. You will not.
    • Kycilia prefers to manage from the sidelines, but she's happy to get her hands dirty whenever the need arises, or when she feels the need to shake things up. She has up plenty of false identities which she uses to navigate the Pantheon's seedy underbelly (with a retinue of subordinates of course). She picked up the codename "Vesper" when becoming a partner of the Black Organization which finances a good chunk of her operations in exchange for munitions. Their agent Vermouth is a slippery friend, given their mutual tendency to shift alliances and seduce men for personal or benefit, especially to fluster them into giving up vital secrets. Kycilia can't help but feel that previous bouts with James Bond may have influenced Vermouth's choice of codename for her. It wasn't, and both can sneak a laugh at the coincidence in private.
    • Anasta Cisnarova, Cobra Commander's intelligence officer has an alliance with Kycilia, hoping to reap benefits from Char winning the Zeon civil war such as munitions, access to the Minovsky fusion reactor, AMBAC system and more believing that it will boost her organization's prestige immensely. Kycilia likes her spunk and even supports her potential bid to become the next Madame Hydra as a middle finger to the Red Skull, one of Gihren's staunchest allies and the leader of HYDRA.
    • Kycilia sought out Cersei Lannister for an economic alliance, confident that the wealth of House Lannister would give her great leverage over Char just like Tywin has with Gihren. What she found as a guest in Cersei's small council meeting was a a selfish, piteous, short-sighted child in a noblewoman's body quite unlike her. Despite being more than capable of fearmongering and leading great armies, Cersei's utter vindictiveness and bloodlust (and being propped up by far cleverer subordinates like Qyburn) blinds her to the matter at hand and ruins any chance of properly using the many assets at her disposal. Even if an alliance proves beneficial, Kycilia is certainly not a fan of "The Mad Queen of Westeros" who would throw away a chance for victory simply to satisfy herself over getting one over on anyone who besmirches her pride.
    • She and fellow war ladies Cornelia li Britannia, Lin Beifong and Olivier Mira Armstrong have one goal in common: everlasting peace either for their loved ones or the rest of their universes. Kycilia however seeks to achieve this through subterfuge and violence. If that means only a few people survive in a peaceful future, then so be it. While the other three aren't above killing to get what they want, none of them enjoy Kycilia's inner selfishness and prioritizing the Zabi family over all else, Cornelia in particular being reminded of her hated father. Olivier has steeled her Briggs Army for attacks from Kycilia's Mobile Assault Force. Beifong, as commander of the 28th police precinct (roughly the House of Leadership) was insulted by a momentary offer to collaborate which she (rightfully) saw as Kycilia's attempts to implant spies in her territory. Suffice to say, these strong-willed women do not like Kycilia, and they them.
    • Never mention how supremely badass Char's Boom, Headshot! on her was. Never. Any soldier who dares broach the subject or worse, praise it in front of her or someone who tattles to her, will be sent to the gallows without trial.
  • Exclusive to Garma:
    • Garma Zabi is unquestionably Degwin's favourite son, as naïve as his siblings are experienced and calculating. His father wanted him to become a scholar, but he enlisted in the military to prove himself worthy of the Zabi name and become a hero to his people. Despite various attempts to dissuade him from taking part in the war, Garma threw himself into slaughter for the sake of recognition, overseeing a bloody mop-up of the Side 5 colonies after the Battle of Loum. He commanded the Earth Attack Force during the One Year War, taking charge of forces invading the west coast of the United States. It was unfortunate that his 'best friend' was Char Aznable, whose last-minute treachery led to his death in a kamikaze attack on the White Base. He received a posthumous promotion to lieutenant general and a grand state funeral. A Military Brat who received high command in spite of his young age, Garma is a hapless leader who's more interested in living the good life than doing anything of value. Some naysayers have dubbed him "Space Vasily", a jab at his similarities to Vasily Stalin, the spoiled second son of Josef Stalin who also got a high rank despite his obvious incompetence (and ultimately died from chronic alcoholism).
      • He fell in love with wealthy socialite Icelina Eschonbach (the daughter of the mayor of New York or Los Angeles depending on the adaptation) while headquartered in the city and wanted to desert just to be with her. Degwin wants to give his blessingSIEG ZEON  but worries that Garma's animosity towards Char will damage the couple's relationship. Regardless, he's manipulated events for Icelina to become Garma's herald in hopes of persuading him to resign his commission.
    • He joined Gihren's side of the civil war, the only one to do so as revenge on Char. Garma wasn't a passive zealot though; under Aigulle Delaz, a herald of Anavel Gato, he eventually participated in a revolt against Gihren's factionSIEG ZEON . As a reward for his Heel–Face Turn Char demoted him from colonel to captain and placed him in charge of his personal royal guard. Garma had this to say:
Garma: Char - no, Casval, I already know you were never my friend, but you let me die just because I'm a Zabi?! I was only a kid when your father died! What the hell, you even demote and slander me when I choose to join your side!
Char: Demote? Yes. Slander? No. For all your insistence that you wouldn't stay a little boy forever, you still stand here with your sense of entitlement. You have none of the leadership skill or experience of Dozle or Kycilia, only pointless zeal. How much of your 'success' was due to your groupies, or your family? (Garma ponders) So what makes you think you deserve a high position in my forces? You think you deserved special privilege from my vendetta because you're a Zabi? Your death was just as easily caused by misplaced pride, when you could have easily just crash-landed your Gaw and surrendered]. Now I give you a chance to prove yourself in battle, will you take it or leave it?
    • Many running jokes are made about how Garma puts more effort into looking competent when he is obviously far from it. Garma tries and fails to emulate Kycilia's talent for backdoor planning, Dozle's love of frontline command, and Char's natural aptitude for piloting (even after getting a custom Geara Zulu), much to his own embarrassment. If it's any consolation to him, Garma is more of a failed Nice Guy than anything else. He's mostly genuine when he speaks to civilians and maintains a stellar PR status amongst the general populace in the Pantheon, but only gets mindless groupies and fanboys who he has grown to greatly dislike. Char on the other hand receives more supporters and patrons at every moments without making any effort due to his natural charisma despite being a self-serving, emotionally blind, backstabbing Jerkass to those who know better. Garma deeply despises this divide and hopes to get one over on the Red Comet sooner or later.
  • Exclusive to Mineva:
    • Mineva Lao Zabi was born to Dozle and Zenna Zabi late in the One Year War. As the only surviving Zabi (after Zenna lost the will to live), Zeon remnants on Axis groomed her to be the future princess of Zeon with Admiral Maharaja Karn and later his daughter Haman as regent. She was sent to Earth for her own protection and replaced by a stand-in when Haman declared her own war on The Federation. She resurfaced during the Third Neo Zeon War under the pseudonym Audrey Burne, connecting with college student Banagher Links and revealing the contents of Laplace's Box, the true Charter of the Universal Century that had been covered up by the Earth Federation to stay in power. Thereafter, she led a pacifistic renegade Zeon faction from the colony builder Magallanica which balanced out the increasingly radical Republic of Zeon governmentSIEG ZEON . Magallanica (which unlike A Baoa Qu, Solomon and Axis is politically neutral territory) to this day remains her secondary residence in the Pantheon, until Cardeas Vist returned as Banagher's herald and delightfully shares the property with her.
    • She is the only member of the family besides Gihren to already be in the Pantheon, having until then been Banagher Links' herald. Gihren tried his hardest to prevent Mineva's ascension since her existence defies everything he stands for but she stood firm against his intimidation and maintained that as the official ruler of Zeon at the time she held responsibility for the Colony Drop on Dublin even if she was only a child. Moreover, refuting her opinion would risk angering Dozle. Her impassioned speech protesting Gihren's tyranny and desire for violence stunned the normally skilled speech-giver into silence, shocking the Court into applause and gaining the support of the jury. Her plea was accepted and Dozle (who died early in her life) Dozle gave his daughter the biggest of hugs, bawling that he was proud of his baby girl for standing up to big bad Gihren. A deep blush filled her cheeks; a rarity for the strong-willed princess.
  • Degwin: "May God protect the world from my son. In the end, Hitler's followers ended up trying to kill him."
  • Gihren: "We must teach those slow-witted people of the Earth Federation a lesson they will always remember. Now is the time for mankind to stand up for the future! Sieg ZEON!"
  • Sasro: "Dozle! That soft heart of yours is a liability! Listen! The political situation here is about to turn into a bloodbath! You'll never survive if you don't-"
  • Dozle: "War is a cruel thing... but it also gets your adrenaline going!"
  • Kycilia: "Regardless of the time and place, mankind has a fundamental desire for war. Whether that be foolish... or wise."
  • Garma: "They don't matter! I'm my own man! Don't underestimate me, Char. Just like you... even I won't stay that little boy back then forever."
  • Mineva: "Please discern the truth with your own eyes. And then, just as people did a century ago, I'd like you to usher in the next century with goodwill in your hearts. Believing in the God called "possibility" that lies dormant within us all."

[down] Connery himself, definitely. Iffy on the Bond ideas since Connery only played the titular character for a few years. An incident with current actor Craig might provoke tenser measures IMO.

Sean Connery has died at the long age of 90. May he rest in peace.

Bringing this up as the guy has a profile in the Pantheon. Should let others know that this particular profile be left untouched for some time. Also, should this affect future James Bond ideas and/or any works that starred Connery by using the same rules from the Hype Prevention Sandbox?

Well that was awkward. Anyway, Halloween is near ending and hopefully I can get a few more suggestions to finish these two profiles. As for the Antarctic Research Crew, I'm going to treat the profile not in the same tradition as most group profiles, due to the lack of characterization of the other members but as a single "person" if you will.

Drafts 2 for the Research Crew and Triombies. More suggestions would be welcome.

  • The cold areas of the Antarctic continent are among the least concerning when it comes to horrific moments, at least in past years when the only thing known about it are the animals living there. Various nations would put up outposts to claim the area and chief among those was the U.S Outpost 31. This would have been simple as nothing eerie happened with the outpost, until a group of researchers would visit the outpost and after a rogue encounter with a Norwegian gunman chasing down a dog with a gun, did the entire outpost fall into shambles as a horrific creature from the unknown would terrorize the group by assimilating each and every member within it. Thus, the tale of the Antarctic Research Group, lead by Garry, showed the events that unfolded within the Outpost and its eventual fate.
    • The group in question were undoubtedly surprised when a Norwegian came in attempting a shoot a stray animal which happened to come by within their doorstep the moment they landed in the Outpost. While it may seem like a rogue attack, the animal they have saved unwittingly became something that would destroy the group. When it revealed itself to them, they have discovered what the entity was. A shapeshifting Thing that could assimilate and mimic any living being it would consume. The events that occurred lead to the death of each group member, as one by one, each of them would become Things themselves, increasing paranoia among the remaining members and as a desperate last ditch effort burned the outpost down, counting to only two survivors left within the wreckage, determined to die in the cold, or perhaps if any of them were human by the end.
  • While the group were assigned to a visit to the outpost, a strange beam of light would engulf the entire helicopter they were riding on. After a few seconds, the helicopter alongside the crew found themselves within a large building with various pillars. As they approached it further, a voice came to them, announcing them as Quasideities and soon, the entire group was suddenly teleported into the original outpost, all in-tact. One of the members, R.J MacReady, soon found a letter that reads "Handlers of Cold, Eerie Outposts" in one of the facilities of the outpost. Realizing this, the group were confused with the letter and incident, questioning what "Quasideities" and "Handlers" meant. Then a revelation came up, when another letter from an anonymous sender was sent and confirmed that they have "ascended" in the "Pantheons", putting them as those who would handle distant antarctic outposts. As for the reactions of the group, many are still confused with their first entry to the Pantheon.
  • Their first foray into the Pantheon was nothing memorable for them as they met regular people, although their temple undoubtedly was Outpost 31 for reasons of their title, which left their meteorologist Bennings in a state of confusion as to the weather scenarios of the other Houses. Then they met various large entities and even went in a House filled with various unknowable entities. The majority of the group decided to stay isolated within the outpost, unwilling to comprehend to what they just witnessed in their vicinity. Though one of them, brought a flamethrower once they would go out again into the unknown Pantheon they have ascended into. The crew gradually got used to the weirdness of where they now lived, with Blair and Copper particularly hopeful that the help of other deities could help them destroy the Thing for good (after they regained their memories of it).
  • Even after entering to the Pantheon did not spare them from the horrors of The Thing, for it was first sighted in the House of Life And Death. The unholy sighting from it allowed most of the crew's memories to be recalled and realizing the Thing was still alive, did they retaliate hard. Portions of the temple of the Thing was torched to oblivion, courtesy of MacReady and Childs. The House then calmly told them the truth that the dimension they were living in was a massive congregate of various people from various worlds, even telling them that the Thing arrived first before they did and that they would assign them to safeguard it as they had their experience dealing with it. MacReady's response?
    MacReady: Yeah, fuck you too!
    • Fuchs learnt of the tragic fate of their predecessors in the burnt down Norwegian research station after a trip to the House of Knowledge and suggested that they could help out in the hunt for the Thing. Some deliberation in the Court followed and a new module was connected to their Outpost identical to Thule Station. The extra knowledge they gained from their new partners was invaluable, such as the Thing's inability to replicate inorganic matter as told by Kate Lloyd. Their pilot Lars took the longest time to adjust to the new situation; after all, he was the Sole Survivornote  of the Thule disaster who got shot dead for trying to save the Americans just because he couldn't speak English. Suffice to say, MacReady and company were quick to brush up on their Norwegian counterparts so something like this doesn't happen again.
    • The House of Knowledge also gave some news to the group in regards to the fate of MacReady showing that he was the lone survivor of Outpost 31, rescuing the last few members of investigation teams Alpha and Beta Team. They also did show that MacReady and Childs were human and hunted the Thing across the globe, eventually leading to a number of serious casualties including Childs. The group, after learning of this were more determined to stop the Thing and with some of their memories regained, did MacReady dedicate more of his life to destroying its presence once and for all.
  • If living in a massive gathering of various worlds was not bad enough, beings of similar power/structure to the Thing were spotted and the group were more than shocked. Said beings may have similar, if not worse, potential than the Thing they have encountered. Beings such as the Carrion, a creature with similar motifs of the Thing, if not more hostile and aggressive than its related being, and Alex Mercer who in reality is a manifestation of the Blacklight Virus, have proven that the entire crew will not have enough manpower to fight against these beings, which is why they have asked assistance in their call.
    • Then came the Venom Symbiote, which seems to operate on a different scale compared to the related beings, although far more dangerous. Yet for all that danger, the Symbiote for reasons operates akin to an anti-hero and while it has no interest in the group, it has taken a liking to MacReady, as his determination to stop the Thing brought his attention. As for beings that hate flamethrowers, look no further than the Wendigo, a being related to famine and cannibalism. While at first glance, the creature is of near inhuman form, it actually is a human in the form of Hannah Washington, something that no one in the group knows, let alone realize due to the Wendigo's form.
    • Childs suggested that a mere flamethrower was not enough to repel these beasts but instead to ask for assistance to incinerate them. Garry suggested to contact a few deities related to fire and upon those who he observed, brought a schizophrenic person in front of the base with a flamethrower in hand. Many were not thrilled at its presence, with Palmer calling it to be even far crazier than him but MacReady has approved its assistance. The person you may ask, was the Pyro, who may not only have enough flamethrower gasoline to burn the Thing but may stand some chance against the other fiends. Eventually the search continued and even managed to stumble across an engineer, Isaac Clarke, who received their messages. Thankful that the crew who discovered the Thing was present, he was glad that he is not the only person who can fight it on his own, though he may have to hope that enough manpower is worth it in the long run, considering Isaac Clarke's presence will pretty much attract a far worse being than the Thing, the Necromorphs.
  • At some point, Windows decided to send another signal but this time around the Antarctic, in the hopes that maybe there would be some people who are also stranded within the continent. While no message was responded, he did pick up a few uninhabited locations that were detected to be camps, similar to theirs. With this in mind, a support team composed of Childs, Clark and Fuchs were sent to the location and discovered it to be a long abandoned outpost, but it was not your typical camp. It had a large array of technology alongside were cryogenic tubes, containing what seems to be the remains of the inhabitants. Then the three were confronted by a woman with a blue jacket, greeting them in response to the call. It was Mei-Ling Zhou, the only surviving member of the Overwatch outpost stationed in Antarctica. Hearing their distress call, she followed them to their outpost, where she was debriefed of the crew's situation. While she is more than happy to help them, the fact that the Pyro is right alongside the crew may have brought a few conflicts here and there.
    • Alternatively, they did receive another call, this time from an arriving ship from the sea. They expected an army or perhaps a few experts to arrive. What arrived however were a bunch of teenage girls who must have thought that Outpost 31 might have been an arrival station for tourists. This brought confusion to the group as Windows must have not explicitly told that they needed experts to deal with the case. Nevertheless, they arrived and they must deal with what they have, though the girls themselves have sympathized with their unfortunate outcomes and even told some of their stories of their encounter with the Thing during their first visits to the Pantheon. At some point, Clark and Norris further welcomed them by allowing them entry to the dog's den within the outpost, perhaps thinking that while the Thing is stationed somewhere else, they could use some people to lessen their paranoia.
  • At one point, the crew was visited by a group of unidentified people with large amounts of technological implants. Unsure of what they are, MacReady was about to burn them until they were suddenly given weapons of unknown origin. Declaring themselves as the Corpus, they have agreed to a truce to the group as while they have experience in cold weather systems, the threats they face are notably similar, hence their introduction to the Infested. Seeing that another Thing-like threat emerged, the group accepted the treaty in the hopes of killing that alongside the Thing.
  • Antarctica may seem like an innocent continent, but stories related to it are anything but harmless, and their story is no different. However, even before The Thing was formally introducted (even as a short story), there existed a story that told of another tale within the Antarctic that revolved around strange "penguin" creatures and an alien city. This story unnerved many of the group and some of the more loony ones, ala Palmer, thinks it was some sort of "alien shit" that must have made this. Even their scientist Dr. Blair has no idea as to what these "Shoggoths" are and suggests meeting with the author of the story. Then they realized that the author himself is within Pantheon grounds, prompting the group to have a talk to why he would write such stories of horror since they are victims themselves of such. Lovecraft denied any connection between the Thing and the Shoggoths, but the group are not convinced.
  • At last, a group of armies arrived within the outskirts of Outpost 31. Everyone thought they would get help but that was not until they saw that the soldiers were lining up in what seems to be a firing line in front of them. The soldiers continued firing while the remainder of the group hid. Windows continously reported within the radio that they are friendlies but the attacks continued. Soon, the outpost was prepped for demolition, until they slowly subdued each soldier present and took their radios, listening to their reports. Confused as to what "Hazardous Environment Containment Unit" was, they thought they would save them but in reality would kill them for their witnessing of the Thing. They may have subdued the first attack but lessened their distress calls, if the incident might attract similar forces.
    • They did encounter a duo of men that visited the group and nearly forced them into a Neuralyzer, though Garry convinced that they can handle the Thing's presence. In response however, the Agents questioned if such casualties were needed if they could really contain the Thing's presence to the outside world. One of them had a flamethrower pointed at their back and told them the reason for their ascension, which forced the two to leave, seeing that the group do have a purpose. Compared to the other form of "containment", this one thankfully did not end in a near slaughter or memory wipe for that matter.

  • Usually, zombies are portrayed to being a mindless horde of undead, an unholy amalgamation of being living and dead at the same time. They infect others, would come in hordes and are somewhat easy to kill, provided they are shot in the head. These zombies are anything but as what would expect in such portrayals. These zombies, a byproduct of a chemical called 2-4-5 Trioxin, are far more agile, durable and horrifyingly smart, a feat rather uncommon within zombie tropes. Combined with their heavily durable bodies and smart use of hordes, these zombies are the epitome of dangerous to the extreme. Their one objective: brains.
  • The House of Undead may have a large amount of people who reside within the realms of death or undeath if you will, but these zombies, while similar in concept are somewhat of a different type. See, while they may act like zombies (with all their chasing the living and brains), they do exhibit some human characteristics though this is more of ways for them to increase their chances for brain consumption. For one, they can speak, a rare feat among zombies of any kind, and they claim to want to eat brains just to lessen their suffering from being undead. It may be a weird revelation but it becomes scary once you realize that these zombies were just a result of a spilling of a poisonous toxin that the military obviously did not contain with great effectiveness.
  • Zombie survivors should be warned of their presence. These zombies are not the typical zombies they have faced. Far more durable and smart when it comes to tricking newcomers or unsuspecting survivors, they should not be underestimated and considering how dangerous zombies are when in numbers, imagine that same number, but with improved bodies and intelligence to boot.
    • Deities who had survived in zombie apocalypses might want to rethink if their zombies are as dangerous as these Triombies. Those proficient in firearms, as attested by the Green Flu Survivors, will see that their weapons will not do enough damage to their movements, let alone even shooting the head. Those who are melee experts such as Saeko and Rick will also discover that Triombies are also immune to blunt force especially when the former tried to cut the head of a Triombie, only to chase her as a headless zombie. Last but not the least, outsmarting these zombies is a very bad idea, as Tallahassee's smart attempts at tricking Triombies into killzones did not deter their chases. However, some of the more extreme ones, such in the case with the Ultimis Team have enough firepower to get rid of these Triombies, just ask Richtofen and his trusty Ray Gun to prove such. Overall, far more dangerous than your typical zombie but not too overpowered.
    • One may ask if burning these zombies is a good measure to kill them and while such ideas are promising, the end result is not pretty. By burning even a single Triombie, the chances of the toxic gas from their charred corpses infecting someone else is very likely, meaning if one burns an entire horde, the gas that was the source of their zombification will infect another living being from within the vicinity thanks to being airborne. And how bad is that you may ask? Just ask the general who nuked the entire city only to have accelerated the spread of the virus.
  • Since durability is one of the strongest feats of the Triombies, few have thought of trying to use the Bloom and Doom Co. Plants in an attempt to halt or at the very least, slow their advanced. Peashooters cannot do a single pint of damage, although Snow Peas have shown to at least slow them down, while Catapult-based plants also have shown rather small damages to Triombies. One issue is that Triombies will pretty much ignore the plants (unless they are forced into one path that is) so harder hitting plants will be necessary to even disintegrate them such as Doom-Shrooms. This would have been fine if it was the Triombies themselves, but since their durability and intelligence is remarkable, it would not take long till a certain other zombie scientist took notice of their capabilities use them to his advantage.
    • After hearing the large resistance Triombies have over anything, Dr. Zomboss talked about allying with the Triombies, promising large sums of brains for their efforts. In exchange, the Triombies will work alongside Dr. Zomboss though this may have the unintended side effect of creating conflicts between Zomboss' army and the Triombies for their share of brains. Nonetheless, the combination of both Zomboss and the Triombies means more experimented zombies, which many fear the last thing they would want to see is creating a Gargantuar Triombie.
  • One of the few Daedric Princes who opposes the undead have openly spoken about how she has hated their presence. Meridia has shown that for all the Triombies strong hides, they still easily fall against her artifact, the Dawnbreaker, rendering all their resistances useless. Her Daedric minions also have easier time smashing through the Triombies with no effort, making their brain hunting far more difficult. That has not stopped other zombie deities from taking the Triombies' abilities to use.
    • For one, if most of the ascended zombie survivors have a hard time killing Triombies, then imagine if either Nekron or Nagash takes a hold of them. While their zombie armies are mightier than Triombies, Nekron has a general interest with their intelligence, although he and Nagash are disappointed to hear that the Triombies only wanted brains and not killing the living which left them with dumbfounded thoughts as all their efforts might have been for naught. Still, the addition of stronger bodies and more intelligent minds is of great use for the two.
