Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@Alecoene - Gaston

Existing Relations that I got from the related page on Prideful Archetypes and other places.

  • Allies: Eliza and Neil Reagan, Syndrome, Mr. Rottweiler, Charlie Harper
  • Enemies: Aru Akise, Hubie and Rocko, Balto, Sandor Clegane, Esmeralda (Disney), Othello, Laura Hunt, Rose Dewitt-Bukater, Jack Dawson
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Brody Foxx
  • Other Interaction Ideas:
    • Besides Frollo and Maleficent, what do you think his relation is with the other Disney villains? Do they find him a bit impressive as he is cunning and charismatic for his form, or they are too turned off by his brutish or egotiscal nature? How do they find useful if they ever ally with him.
    • Considering that he's friends with Frollo and judgemental af, I don't see him being friends with Quasimodo.
    • His possible new house in the House of Musically makes him met with other deities with self-boasting songs. Due to that, he would be rivals with other deities with kickass "I'm Great" songs (at least the ones who are willing to engage with him):
      • Garnet of the Crystal Gems ("Stronger Than You", who sang to affirm the positive self-love for herself and her gem components, to address her enemy who belittled her)
      • Freddie Mercury ("Don't Stop Me Now", Princes of the Universe, who sang because he has a positive outlook on life and how great he is feeling at the moment)
      • The Genie (Friend Like Me, who sang to show off his prenominal cosmic powers and to show that he's willing to help Aladdin in anyway),
      • The three above are probably a lot more more humble than Gaston is, so either Rivals or Opposes would be good for them. You can make Gaston's the greatest one (After all, No one makes a better "I Am Great" song than Gaston) or make the House rage debated on which is the better one. Perphaps they have a talent show about it.
      • Strong Bad (who often makes songs about how great he is but not stating what makes him so great, "(You Can't) Handle My Style", "The Ladies in My Town All Know My Name") like to inject himself into the debate since he too has a big ego. He may be a Rival but probably not an Ally.
      • Kuzco also used to be egotistical ruler and had an "I'm Great" song "Perfect World" as well but he has since become more humble following turning into a llama and going to school, which is why he would likely Opposes or be Enemies with Gaston for his egotism.

I'm going to check Popularity if he has other interactions there later.

Edit:

@KaoticKanine

King of Sorrow

  • I personally don't like the new profile since the ratio is now smaller and and 1/3 of that pic is made-up by his scarf. If you can find a good portrait picture orientation of him with his scarf, that would be better.
  • This is half-funny and half-serious suggestion but the red eyes remind me of when SpongeBob SquarePants accidently had bubble water on his eyes, which entertains the kids at Krabbyland and make kids laugh at his misery. Perhaps expand this on people making fun of his eyes or on what are his possible views on people laughing at misery.
  • Sad Royals - I have nothing on this at the moment but would edit if I have ideas.
  • That said, the profiles are looking good so far.

DEMOuntable Next Integrated Capability Armor (DEMONICA)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/demonica_standard.png
The standard gold model worn by the Schwarzwelt Investigational Team
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/black_demonica.png
The black variant worn by Jack's Squad and the Black Samurai
  • Class Level: 5
  • Appearance: A high-tech combat suit that comes in either gold and green, or black and red
  • Museum Check: Denied, later Granted upon Tadano Hitonari's ascension
  • Alignment: True Neutral, as it depends on its wearer
  • Portfolio: Powered Armor, Magic-Technology Compatibility, Field Scanners, Adaptive Armor, Magikarp Power, Modular Adaptability
  • Notable users: Flynn (has gotten his hands on both versions), Tadano Hitonari (all six incarnations)
  • Interested Parties: X-COM, most deities from the house of War, General Shepherd, Senator Armstrong, the God-Emperor of Mankind, The Phantom Thieves of Hearts, the Grineer, the Corpus, the Hazardous Environment Combat Unit, Black Ops, SCP Foundation, Global Occult Coalition, Lobotomy Corporation
  • An advanced combat suit developed and sponsored by the United Nations, originally intended for all-environment use, which exceeded all expectations when it was shown to be an excellent choice for survival in the chaotic terrain of the Expanse (the Schwarzwelt). Its superior modular programming allows for an unprecedented degree of customization. Its worth was further confirmed when it was later proven capable of communicating with, allowing the user to recruit, and/or taking down demons thanks to the installation of a variant of Akemi Nakajima's Demon Summoning Program.
  • Externally resembles a Cyberman, who have no comment so far on these suits.
  • A couple of DEMONICA suits were found, disassembled, in a certain Tokyo. While still excellent military gear, it appears a botched reverse-engineering job significantly lowered its abilities, removing most of its Adaptive Ability in favor of more conventional armor. Flynn currently seeks to repair the damaged set he owns, and if possible, augment it by using his faithful AI companion Burroughs as the navigational AI for the armor.
  • There are two known variants: one in mostly black with red details, and another in gold with a green undersuit. While the black suit is more combat-oriented, the gold variant is significantly more powerful.
  • Several parties in the Pantheon became interested in acquiring DEMONICA technology. Most of the groups in question are military-affiliated deities or groups such as X-COM, most deities from the house of War, General Shepherd, and Senator Armstrong in particular. They intend, for the most part, to mass produce and use them against any and all potential enemies, all of them having been impressed by the suit's aforementioned combat capabilities. Not to mention The Grineer and the Corpus, alongside profiting off of it with the latter.
    • Likewise, the God-Emperor of Mankind wants to make the gold variant standard issue armor for the Imperial Guard, seeing it as the ultimate weapon against Warp incursions (an armor that allows baseline humans to go toe to toe with Physical Gods and enables them to gain control over demons seems like a dream come true) though he wants to see if he can't tweak it so it comes with a gold undersuit too. And maybe add a few skulls for good measure.
    • Interestingly, there one demon who managed to acquire a personalized variant of the gold and green version. Said demon, one Jack Frost, has been training under Sergeant Hartmann. This particular one is different in that he actually passed and survived the Drill Sergeant's Training from Hell. When he finally earned the right to wear the DEMONICA, he became known from then on as Demonee-Ho, and quickly gained a reputation for his 100% success rate during operations in the field.
    • One can also count the Hazardous Environment Combat Unit and the Black Ops among the interested parties. While the former already have the pretty impressive PCV in their arsenal, the DEMONICA's even more advanced capabilities might just give them the edge they need to fight more powerful aliens and monsters that litter the Pantheon. Both the SCP Foundation and the Global Occult Coalition would also be heavily invested in researching the DEMONICA and how they themselves can use it. And while their Agents already use E.G.O. for combat, Lobotomy Corporation is also intrigued with the Demon Summoning Program, at least.
  • With Tadano Hitonari's ascension to the Pantheon (and them being surprised to discover that the DEMONICA was in the Pantheon's Treasury), a change of policy was in consideration in regards to requisitioning and reverse-engineering it. Thus this gave the Grand United Alliances of Good, Law, and Chaos a head start in research. The GUAs of Evil, Destruction, and Machines are now dedicated to capturing the Hitonaris in order to requisition their DEMONICAs for themselves. Other independent forces not among the above who have interest in the suits are trying the same.
  • Because this suit improves by killing enemies, pacifist combatants will have a hard time making it stronger, though they can still use and recruit demons with it. One can still get it stronger by having their summoned demons kill on their behalf, though.
  • The Phantom Thieves of Hearts (including Akechi) have also been seen with DEMONICA suits on occasion, though these are just outfits and nothing more. Some interest has been drawn to obtain real suits for themselves, though there's the whole "kill foes to give it power" thing, but Metaverse Shadows might qualify for that.

Yeah, I could use a little more.

  • Enemies: The Grand United Alliance of Destruction, Dharkon, Chakravartin, The Godhand, Griffith, Fused Zamasu, Sundowner, the Corpus
  • Supported by: Lucifer (New Neutral, New Chaos, and—yes—New Law Paths)
  • It's a well-known fact that the Shin Megami Tensei games have multiple endings based on the Player Character's alignment: Law, Chaos, or Neutral. But out of all of the Great Will's Messiahs, who should represent that aspect? That was when an answer was found.
  • The protagonist of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, to be addressed by his Drama CD name Tadano Hitonari, was a Japanese (or American) soldier of Earth during a present-day time period when the Schwarzwelt appeared in Antarctica. The United Nations assembled a quartet of teams comprised of the brightest minds, most talented soldiers (Hitonari among them), and the most advanced technology they had available. Their mission: enter and explore the interior of the Schwarzwelt, and find a way to stop it before the entire world is consumed. Of course, things aren't as simple as that. Their foes proved far more dangerous than it seemed, the Schwarzwelt's reason for existing proved more complicated than it seemed, and the demons proved invisible to the naked eye before a Mysterious Benefactor granted them the Demon Summoning Program for a fighting chance. Humanity would be tested as they explored the Schwarzwelt, and circumstances led to Hitonari being in the lead and ultimately deciding the fate of his kind.
  • Due to the nature of his trope, all of his versions were required to ascend. That not only meant the Neutral, Law, and Chaos versions, but their New versions, too, leading to a total of six. Upon hearing who was planned for ascension, YHVH was quick to bring forth the versions fitting His own path while Cosmos (with anonymous aid from Lucifer) helped ascend the rest.
  • In terms of residences, to minimize clashes with one another, their temples take the form of five Red Sprites, the hover-capable landships that the Schwarzwelt Investigational Team used to explore the demon realms, but modified and miniaturized to enable reasonable solo travel with it. Why five when there are six Hitonaris? The two Neutral Hitonaris share a "temple" because they share the same ideals; there's no point in separating them. While the other New Hitonaris are also good people, they have their separate agendas that can take them to different places in the Pantheon.
  • Applies to all or some of them:
    • Wanna know what exactly their paths took them? Well...
      • Law Hitonari helped turn his Earth into a world of total peace where it devotes itself solely to praising the greatness of God (YHVH).
      • Chaos Hitonari helped turn his Earth into a primordial world of gods and demons, where only the strongest survive and humanity is expected to suffer for their role in disrupting the natural order.
      • Neutral Hitonari successfully performs the original mission of the Investigational Team and destroys the Schwarzwelt, but it's implied that it will return so long as humanity doesn't get its act together.
      • New Law Hitonari helepd turn his Earth into a peaceful world without violence that still has its free will, but runs the risk of leaving humanity vulnerable without the will to fight should a threat arise.
      • New Chaos Hitonari helped turn his Earth into one where nature flourishes and humanity can live in harmony with gods, demons and the Earth. Instead of a world ruled by strength, it becomes a world filled with infinite possibilities for humanity, where each person is free to act as they choose.
      • New Neutral Hitonari destroys the Schwarzwelt like his "old" counterpart, but also uses the Cosmic Fruit to become Earth's immortal protector against the Schwarzwelt as it appears again and again until humanity can learn its lesson and break the Eternal Recurrence themselves.
    • Despite whatever blessings they've received (if they still retain them), all versions of Hitonari still fight as they did before; with swords, guns, and summoned demons.
      • It was a surprise to discover that the DEMONICA was in the Pantheon's Treasury. Now that there are six more suits, a change of policy has been in consideration in regards to requisitioning and reverse-engineering it.
    • In case you're wondering how Hitonari can either be Japanese or American? Well, he's half of both ethnicities.
    • Being of differing alignments, there is naturally opposition among themselves, though mainly from the Law and Chaos Hitonaris, even against their New counterparts. Even New Chaos and New Law have their disagreements. It's a good thing their temples are separate.
    • While they're not exactly on their old mission anymore, their expedition in the Schwarzwelt has conditioned them to pick up everything in sight that doesn't have a clear owner (and perhaps beat up the owner if there is and if they think it can benefit them more). The good Hitonaris do their best to use their manners, though.
    • Besides those who desire total annihilation of all life, given their interactions with Jack's Squad, there's one thing all Hitonaris share their despisal for; all Private Military Contractors and Mad Scientists, especially if they lack any sort of morals. And in the case of Law, Chaos, and (to a lesser extent) New Law Hitonaris, the alignment of these mercenaries or doctors doesn't matter to them; they all must die horribly. As for the others, it just means they're really slow to trust the less malevolent ones like Raiden and Agatha Heterodyne.
    • Since there are multiple Hitonaris, all of them would naturally be aware of Funny Valentine because of his Stand's ability to easily obliterate them if they are not careful. The only one who doesn't quite have to worry about that tidbit is Law Hitonari due to the president's affiliations with the GUAL.
  • Exclusive to the Neutral paths:
    • New Neutral Hitonari told the "Old" Neutral Hitonari about the latter's future and its eventual doom via another Schwarzwelt. Neutral Hitonari almost lost his faith since humanity learned nothing and repeated their mistakes to end this way, but Makoto Naegi was able to restore his faith in humanity; New Neutral Hitonari was unable to help in this case as he inadvertently serves as an example of the fruitlessness of his struggle since his world's humanity is relying on another higher being for their safety and has been doing so for 150 years before his ascension to the Pantheon.
    • Due to his never-ending crusade against the Schwarzwelt, being a soldier heading off into another dimension, being completely and totally human and facing off against monsters that are more or less the stuff of nightmares, it was natural that Doomguy would be a steadfast ally of New Neutral Hitonari (and the older one, too). They even go hunting demons together on occasion, though Hitonari has to avoid summoning his own lest Doomguy commit Friendly Fire on it, and most of the summoned that wouldn't draw his attention are usually unable to stomach the carnage.
    • With their new situation in the Pantheon, as well as everything it has to offer, the Arthur that came with New Neutral Hitonari decided it would be best to share resources with the GUAG after deducing Cosmos' intentions. There was a little bit of hesitation on this since they heard of the Lockdown Kazuya Minegishi and his friends experienced, the Demon Summoning everybody got, and the chaos that ensued. However, given the technological state of the Pantheon and all of its residents, this worry was mostly unfounded.
    • On occasion, New Neutral Hitonari goes to the moon to relax, just as he's done for the past 150 years after becoming immortal. On occasion, he gets fellow visitors who sit with him, and he wouldn't mind their presence (even if it was someone like Nightmare Moon) as long as he isn't messed with.
  • Exclusive to the Chaos paths:
  • Exclusive to the Law paths:
    • New Law Hitonari is admired by several deities who abhor violence and are idealistic enough to think that his world would be absolutely perfect.

@lawliet-saw-whet: As it happens, I found the source of King's pic in the Klonoa character page, enabling me to use it without copying off of another troper's work lol How's this?

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_king_of_sorrow_8.jpg
I only hope the yellow background ain't a dealbreaker. I'd much prefer to stick with drawn artwork than 3D renders, and this is the only one for King of Sorrow. And thank you for your suggestions! I found a way to include the Spongebob thing and King's feelings on laughing at misery. As for royalty interactions, they don't necessarily have to be sad royals: they could be royalty whose own kingdoms fell to ruin, preferably due to the world at large being at fault one way or another (just as the Kingdom of Sorrow fell to ruin because the people Lunatea shunned sadness).

[up] I'd suggest an interaction with Abe from Oddworld, as all of Abe's games have a Good ending and a Bad ending depending on Abe's quarma. Which in itself is determined by how many Mudokens (or Fuzzles in Munch's Odyssey) Abe rescues. Since Abe's second trope is No Canon for the Wicked, he'd naturally be an ally with Tadano in the "good" paths while an enemy in the "evil" paths.

Also, Raava is listed twice, once for the Neutral Path and once for New Law Path. Is that intended?

EDIT- Apologies for the sentences not being spaced apart from each other. I guess the image's inclusion is throwing off the word formatting for this post. Cause I tried.

I'm gonna be honest: while I know Robin Hood's individual points need to be expanded, I'm at a loss when it comes to what they should be expanded with. So does anybody have ideas for how to build on this pre-existing flavor text? New suggestions are welcome and all, but I'd like to build on the stuff that's already here since a lot of it is short.

Robin Hood

Robin Hood, God of Loveable Rogues (Robin of Sherwood, Robin of Locksley, Robert of Huntingdon, Robert Fitzooth, Robin de Courtenay, Sir Robert Hode, Robin Longstride, Robert Huntingdon, Archer, Noble Forest Bandit)

  • Allies: Jerrica Benton, Gambit, Han Solo, Shrek, Nick Wilde, Locke Cole, Omar Little, Dick Grayson, Sonic The Hedgehog, Jerry, Yogi Bear, Q, Wishbone, Samurai Jack
  • Enemies: The more corrupt members of the House of Commerce (and any rich Jerkass by extension)
  • Rivals: Katniss Everdeen, Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, Artemis, Legolas, Decidueye, Felicia Hardy/Black Cat, Merida
  • Not so different from: EMIYA
  • Opposes: Goro Akechi, Blackadder
  • Opposed by: Evil deities in the House of Commerce, Judge Dredd, Tom
  • Annoys: Jean-Luc Picard, The Doctor
  • Respects: The Star Fox Team
  • Respected by: All of the Robins
  • Dreads: Elizabeth Bathory, B.B.
  • Uneasy Relationship: The Pink Panther
  • Robin Hood is a well known folk hero in which he robs from the richest of the rich, and gives to the unrighteously taxed, especially the poor. While the are varying accounts on where his origin of the folk tale came, the most commonly cited source is William Langland's fourteenth century poem Piers Plowman, and even that referenced an much earlier source. Even his backstory is complicated; While he is known for perfecting and popularizing the Archer Archetype, he is also rumored to have been once a Crusader who became an outlaw after he returned to England to find his lands taken by the Sheriff of Nottingham.
  • Robin Hood walked into the Pantheon one day with his Merry Men, not realizing where it was, only to be greeted by people telling him he's a deity now. It wasn't long before he went by his usual business: using his Merry Men to steal from the rich. One would think that he would struggle in a modern environment, but he has been surprisingly effective at his task. As such he is a constant threat for evil deities in the House of Commerce and is basically the bane of their existance. They would report him to the authorities, but they are weary to do it since that might also expose their own crimes.
  • Judge Dredd placed a huge bounty on bringing in the thief. While he doesn't mind bounty hunters to find him, Dredd would prefer to handle his punishment personally, but alas he has far bigger fish to fry at any given moment. Robin Hood merely sees it as an extra challenge to overcome in his quest, so doesn't hol too much of a grudge with Dredd.
  • Robin Hood made his ascension by stealing not just the riches of Tywin Lannister, but also his gilded armor, which shocked the Pantheon, given that no one was able to steal from House Lannister and get away with it.
  • Seto Kaiba became his natural enemy because of the aforementioned robbing from the rich. Not helping was his Jerkass attitude back then even before he made a Heel–Face Turn.
  • Is a bit miffed at Carmen Sandiego for stealing his previous title as well as Sherwood Forest. Fortunately, he at least managed to steal the forest back, and although intellectually he knows that he should be angry, he doesn't really hold it against her. He also teams up on her on rare occasions whenever he runs into a really tough job that interests her.
  • Amongst other thieves in the Pantheon, he has been most fond of Omar Little of Baltimore. He finds the street criminal's code of selective targets to be fair for the people he protects, despite the body count he has at times. He is also one of the few people brave enough to shake Omar's hand without running away in fright. Omar himself respects the archer and provides extra men for him on occasion.
  • Finds Felicia to be absolutely intoxicating as well as much of her cat burglar followers. With that said, the Black Cat isn't above stealing the same targets as Robin Hood. The two have made it a game of sorts to see who can steal their prizes first.
  • He found out that prior to their timeline getting rebooted twice, Star Fox used to be freedom-fighting bandits on Venom before returning to Corneria, though given the nature of their past, this can be a probable backstory. He respects them regardless of this.
  • His preferred avatars are Errol Flynn, Kevin Costner and Cary Elwes. But sometimes, he appears as an anthropomorphic fox. Another one is only used when Robin wants to avert pursuers, hoping he will be taken for Maximus or Javert. His servant form is mostly seen when summoned for an Holy Grail War, though that version is one of many people that have taken the mantle of Robin Hood.
    • Speaking of his servant form, he doesn't really like EMIYA that much because of how similar they are in terms of backstory.
  • It may not be known by that many people, but Dick Grayson chose the name 'Robin' not due to the bird, but in homage of Robin Hood. So he was pleased to meet his inspiration once he arrived at the Pantheon. It was little surprise that Grayson liked the Errol Flynn version the most.
  • Sonic also finds his attitude to be a pleasure to watch. There is one version of him where he modeled a group of Freedom Fighters after Robin's group.
  • Tips his hat to Jerry for helping him escape prison, willing to help the mouse out of any jams. Tom wasn't to pleased with that given that keeping watch over Robin Hood was his responsibility. Now Tom has to be wary with a stray arrow that may come his way.
  • Is amused whenever Yogi Bear brings out the Robin Hood outfit when he swipes picnic baskets from unsuspecting camper. He has no qualm with animals seeking for enticing food.
  • It was a warm reunion of sorts when he came face-to-face with Samurai Jack. It was he who taught the samurai how to use the bow and arrow to perfection. While his initial failure likely doomed that version of him, Robin Hood was glad that his friend finally completed his mission.
  • Upon hearing that Elizabeth Bathory had ascended to the Pantheon, he quickly shrived up in fear... Not because of the Blood Baths, but because of her music, and also because of a certain incident back then.
    • He also tries to avoid B.B. as much as possible, due to her threatening to turn him into a pig unless he wore a swimsuit during the Servant Summer Festival of 2018.
  • Has a deep respect for Sean Connery, who portrayed him once. Also likes Daffy Duck, even if his portrayal was a bumbling one.
  • Q was delighted to see Robin Hood in the flesh. The omnipotent being had always believed that the legends were true. The revelation only brought more headaches for Picard. He hopes never to have to reenact those events ever again.
  • For Wishbone, Robin Hood is yet another literary figure come to life. He saw a part of the archer's story in his owner Joe when he wanted to give leftovers to a homeless shelter. Robin Hood for his part thought Wishbone looked great in his costume.
  • He is rivals with Green Arrow, Hawkeye, Katniss Everdeen, Legolas, and Decidueye, due to their expertise in archery, even moreso with Green Arrow since he was inspired by him. It would be not an uncommon sight to see an archery competition happen between them once in a while. Hawkeye used to be cocky calling himself the 'superior Robin Hood', but has since mellowed out and became more respectful of the legend.
    • His relationship with Katniss is one of pity. He knows that she never sought to be a freedom fighter and that she was manipulated into joining that cause. He promised not to bring Katniss into any of his adventures unless she wanted to.
    • He is also friendly rivals with the Sly Cooper gang when Robin is in his fox form, given that they are both thieves that work for the side of good. This unfortunately also has made him a (thankfully friendly) enemy of Carmelita Fox, due to her seeing his thievery as equal to a good amount of years in prison.
    • He is also rivals with Artemis, though while she respects his archery skills, she is appalled that he committed "poachery" at King Richard's royal grounds.
  • Once heard that Goro Akechi had a Persona named after him, and that caused him to be interested at the Crow. However, it quickly turned into disappointment when he learned that not only he happened to be the traitor of the Phantom Thieves, his actual Persona was Loki. While he could understand his angst, he is still pretty sore on him, likely because it often reminded him of the people that betrayed him even though he helped them.
  • According to his Merry Men, real men wear tights, to the point where they made a song and dance about men in tights.
  • In an alternate universe, Robin Hood was not an Englishman, but a full-blown French Jerk who attempted to take on Fiona, but was instantly beaten up along with his Merry men. He doesn't want to talk about it.
  • Was not pleased to see Lord Blackadder in the Pantheon. For once, he had his Merry Men turned against him and ruined England as a result. Even when he set time back to (mostly) normal, he couldn't help but recognize the woman he is with as Maid Marian. Robin Hood demanded answers as to what happened, but Blackadder has been coy with the details.
  • Pink Panther gave Robin Hood the stinkeye when he arrived at the Pantheon, but that was for a different reason. The Panther joined one of his merry men and tried to break the Little Man out of prison. It didn't work out for him. When Robin Hood tried to break him out, he ended up getting captured as well. While they eventually did get out of prison, the Pink Panther remains disillusioned with the legend.
  • His presence is a mystery to the Doctor to this day. The Time Lord did not believe that Robin Hood existed in their reality yet Robin Hood ended up being real. When asked how that was possible, Robin Hood smirked and walked away. The Doctor remains ever vigilant in the hopes of figuring out how could it be possible.
  • He has a sort of rivalry with Merida. The two compete over who is the better archer, and to be fair Merida did put up some good competition to him. That being said the rivalry is mostly a friendly one and the two don't really have any beef with each other - in fact Robin Hood likes having the opportunity to hone his skills, and thinks Merida is a pretty great archer herself.

[up][up]

  • Friar Tuck and Prince John are missing from this list and flavor text
  • Even tho I know what they are going to react to him (they want to kill him since life=crime), add The Dark Judges to Judge dread's text.
  • Needs few more Game of Thrones or Yugioh characters for Kaiba and Lannister's text. Alternatively, if you can't think of additional characters, you can put the two text togther since they are both bad rich guys. Like make a segue to justify these being put together. For example, with the segue of The Beatles wanting to meet other Elvis fans like them, I used the fact that Lilo from Lilo and Snitch and The Curtis Gang from the Outsiders are both Elvis fans to justify being in a flavor text together. It would be better to also think of that commonality mindset if you wish to put two weak text together.
  • This applies for some of the thives text as well. For example, you can put Carmen and Black Cat's text togther since they are both female thrives.
  • Kindly explain how similar EMIYA and Robin Hood are for those unfamilar with what they are
  • The Doctor has at least three accounts of meeting Robin Hood. And he was actually convinced he is real in the end of his third one. I think this part pointing out their commonalities is good to include as well. "He also reminded the Doctor that they both came from similar backgrounds and had a similar fate: men born into wealth and privilege who were so moved by the plight of the weak and oppressed that they took up the life of an adventurer to help those who can't help themselves. He also showed that, like the Doctor, he didn't consider himself a hero, but believed that by pretending to be one, he could inspire others in his stead." You can rephase that so that you aren't just copying the whole text.
  • Not sure why Merida's text is not grouped with the Rival Archer's section
  • Please indicate that Shrek used to be mad that Robin Hood for trying to kidnap Fiona but has since been friend with him due to being seen in their wedding.
  • What do you think his relations to the members in the Hall of Thieves are?
I'll PM you if I have more ideas on him.

So here's an idea: General Massive Systems (GMS) as the Divine Supplier of Starting Equipment that doesn't suck (Divine Organization under Game Progression, House of Gaming)

  • While Lancer has five different manufacturers, only GMS mecha are available to starting players, and unlike a lot of games, not only are the mecha provided by GMS pretty good, they're arguably the best all-round.

@RJ — I've got nothing to add for the White Martians, so here's a [tup].

For Padme, while I don't have anything to offer regarding paragraphs, her costume collage isn't really good, so I recommend making a new one. Make sure each costume is shown clearly too and it doesn't matter if there's a smaller variety shown. After all, quality beats quantity.

KaoticKanine — Sorrow and Joka look big enough to me, so I'll give you a [tup] for both of them. That said, there are some paragraphs that are a bit short and could be expanded on with another line or two IMO.

@nightelf — I recommend you finish writing down the Chaos and Law Paths section of Hitonari's profile before reposting him. After that, I'll see what I can recommend for improvement.

@m-95 — Roy Harper/Arsenal is Green Arrow's former protege and an archer vigilante, though his main priority, in addition to fighting crime is to be the best father possible for his daughter.

When it comes to expanding on paragraphs, sometimes the best thing to do is to use your imagination and/or create a headcanon as your way to make things interesting. That said, headcanons are a risky thing to add, so make sure what you write stays true to the character's spirit and characterization. Unfortunately, I don't have anything specific to offer, but hopefully what I've written helps you out.

Reposting Slayer. Honestly, I don't think I have any more to add after this, so I'm comfortable with what they have ATM, and approvals are up. While I think they're done, I'm still open to suggestions if you have any.

That's what results in Thrash Metal, which takes the technicality of Metal, amplifies its already aggressive nature, and adds in elements of Punk Rock and Hardcore Punk giving it a very angry and chaotic sound and feeling to it. While Venom may have established it first and others like Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax made the genre widespread, none of them have codified the genre's overall aggression, speed, and ferociousness more than Slayer. Formed in 1981 and having a humble start as a cover band, Slayer began their true work with 1983's Show No Mercy where they showcased their signature playing style, but it was 1986's Reign in Blood that really solidified Slayer as among Metal's greatest bands thanks to it's frightening and voracious sound, lyrics, and high energy, catapulting the band into the "Big Four of Thrash Metal". While the band had its number of hiccups, including members shifting, having to deal with Moral Guardians, their work suffering from a critical and commercial drop in the mid-late 1990s, and the death of guitarist Jeff Hanneman in 2013, Slayer's reputation and influence persevered, with their content even laying out the blueprint for future Death Metal and Black Metal acts. Slayer would release twelve albums and disband in 2019, by which then they were seen as one of the greatest and most important Heavy Metal artists ever.
  • Of course, even after they disbanded, Slayer would, of course, remain a highly influential band, and this even persisted onto the Pantheon, who acknowledged Slayer's reputation, despite their own music being something that not everyone was intonote . On one particular day, each of the band's last lineup, consisting of founders, bassist and lead vocalist Tom Araya, guitarist Kerry King, and additional members, guitarist Gary Holtnote , and drummer Paul Bostaphnote  received a note that told them that they were invited to play together at a venue in Huntington Beach, California, where Slayer first formed. Despite some conflicting thoughts over the matter, the four banded together under the Slayer label and performed towards a crowd of thousands. At the end of the concert, Slayer was told that because of their influence, they were mentioned by who they assumed to be the Trope Pantheons and that they were said to have ascended into their ranks with the band representing Thrash Metal. With the announcement, the audience cheered as Slayer began to make plans for what they were going to do in a new world where they were seen as deities of sorts, something that felt polarizing for them.
  • Of course, Slayer is one of the most popular Metal bands in the Pantheon, even if their sales don't say otherwise, and it is reflective of just how incremental they are to the Metal genre as a whole and with the way they've marketed their music. Some of Slayer's more dedicated fans wanted the band to become the main Metal representatives of the House of Musicality and replace Corey Taylor. All things considered, Slayer were rather humble with Corey's spot and they were okay with where they were. As expected with their music, they have a rather scary reputation with music fans, but most of the bandmates have been said to be rather Nice Guys in private and they, in return, tend to be very interactive and supportive of their fans. It's a rather stark contrast with the sort of music they play as well as their lyrical themes which tend to consist of dark subject matter like murder, cults, war, and Satanism.
  • Much of Slayer's lyrics revolve around violent, warmongering beings, which tend to include some of history's most infamous and malevolent beings. One of their Signature Songs, Angel of Death is about Josef Mengele, which led to the band being called out for being Anti-Semitic and Nazi Sympathizers, much to the band's dismay. Slayer has made it clear that they wrote about Mengele because their former guitarist, Jeff Hanneman, was a history buff who was into World War II and they're well aware of the Nazi's infamy. Fortunately for the band, many have seemed to listen, and as Slayer stated, everyone should know that Josef Mengele and the Nazis were not good people, and their songs are meant to highlight their depravity. On the other hand, the tale and reputation of the Red Skull, HYDRA, and Fritz Von Meyer were quite interesting given the number of acts they've committed to the point where there could be a story written on it. Sabaton being admirers of Slayer and writing songs that are explicitly Anti-Nazi has helped with the two being eager to your together.
  • Violent murderers and serial killers are no exception to Slayer's lyrical content and, as such, those like Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and Chucky have plenty of gory material and viciousness to get descriptive on. Amusingly, Leatherface being real alongside the fact that he was inspired by John Wayne Gacy, who was the lyrical subject of Dead Skin Mask was something Slayer noticed rather quickly. It helps that Tom Araya not only is interested in serial killers but is also a fan of horror movies, even watching them with his wife and kids to pass the time, with Tom having to affirm to his kids that the movies are fictional and that there's no need to be scared. He's a bit more taken aback when some of the most vicious movie villains are now real and he's made it more than clear that he and the band condemn their actions. Finally, the less said about the murder of Elyse Palmer by a trio of murderous Satanists and the resulting lawsuit that the band had to deal with, the better.
  • You probably expect Slayer to always be projecting a manly and rough image to the public and you'd be forgiven, considering how angry and aggressive their music is. Surprisingly most of the band members are pretty respectable and even loving towards animals, especially when they helped a kitten in Indianapolis find a new home and Gary Holt in particular is a general cat lover. The band has a good relationship with the Hall of Felines and Gary and Tom, being occasional visitors there like to tend and care for any kittens there if they can, with Gary making as many preparations as he can on Saturdays, or "Caturday" as he'd like to call it. Kerry has a fondness for reptiles and amphibians, even owning a herpetology nursery called the "Psychotic Exotics" and likes to visit the Hall of Reptiles to check and see his favorite animals and probably learn something new about them. Kerry does wish a Hall of Amphibians is established one day and learn about living prehistoric reptiles and dinosaurs, he's planning to give the halls of Prehistoric Beasts and Mesozoic Beasts a visit one day.
  • With songs like Jesus Savesnote , and an album called God Hates Us All, one would think Slayer is anti-religious and you'd be right… about Kerry King, who has admitted to being an antitheist and has an opposition against organized religion. Of course, he doesn't like the House of Religion and Faith and personally doesn't like being called a god, a sentiment that he shares with the members of Mayhem. Regarding a question on what kind of powers he would have as a supervillain, Kerry stated he would like to have "the ability to burst a church into flames by simply walking by it." Of course, he doesn't want them, knowing that it wouldn't work well for his reputation and he's certainly not going to kill someone. In contrast, Tom Araya is actually a Roman Catholic, which made a number of deities wonder just how were Tom and Jerry able to perform together for decades despite their diametrically differing thoughts on religion, let alone how Araya singing a song about God being malevolent.
    • For very obvious reasons, YHVH is the one deity in the Pantheon that Slayer detests. Kerry, in particular, hates YHVH so much after learning about his villainous actions and being an anthropomorphic representation of Maltheism that he sarcastically thanked the malevolent god for inspiring him to write a bunch of songs about him or under his perspectivenote . Tom is rather apprehensive, given his own Christian beliefs, while Gary and Paul generally don't give much thought to it, while YHVH, on the other hand, is somewhat peeved to hear that some band is writing unflattering music about the "one, supreme being", but has other matters to tend to. Damien Thorn was amused to hear that Slayer has a song called The Antichrist and he even came to hear and like the track himself to the point where he would put it under his playlist if he ever had one. Slayer was not too happy about Damien liking their music, if mainly because Damien is an actual threat they can stumble upon and him liking their music could result in bad PR. Damien doesn't hold it against Slayer, even calling Kerry hilarious for his comment about burning down churches whenever he walked by, much to the guitarist's chagrin.
  • Sure, the worst of the worst is something that a lot of Metal bands would base their lyrics on. Slayer themselves have written about some particularly vile people, and they've personally admitted that Johan Liebert and Junko Enoshima are up there in writing material. Johan personally doesn't care much, but Junko was downright ecstatic about the idea of herself being the main character in a song and even more so when said song would be about the pain and torture she inflicted upon the students of Hope's Peak Academy and "The Tragedy". The idea around a song on Junko was a hot topic for the academy students, but Slayer wrote a personal message to them that they apologize if they traumatized or offended them in any way, not to mention that they are obviously not going to support Junko's actions, alongside any of the other criminals and monsters they write their songs about. Fortunately, the one time the band met with Makoto Naegi, everyone involved was relieved to learn that Slayer didn't mean any harm. As a bonus, the band even got to meet and play some music with Ibuki Mioda, who has since been practicing how to headbang and play faster as well as playing Slayer songs the next time she gets to play with the band.
  • Unlike most other harsh and aggressive bands, Slayer doesn't present any sort of animosity or hard rivalry with Houkago Tea Time. This was especially impressive as Dethklok looked up to the Thrash Metal pioneers and Mayhem also paid credit as an influence to their own sound. While Slayer obviously isn't into what the girls usually play, they themselves aren't immune to their own cute moments, especially with Gary himself being a grandfather and a cat lover. Yui Hirasawa once called Tom over to have some tea and provide backup bass. Turns out Tom could actually sing clean and normal as he admits to playing country music to hone his skills. Of course, the rest of Houkago, sans Yui, find Slayer to be too scary and loud, but the band themselves find the whole situation rather amusing and like to poke fun, albeit they make sure none of it is malicious. Houkago does have some experience in dealing with a metalhead, namely their teacher and club advisor, Sawako Yamanaka, and Slayer found her attempts in hiding her fun-loving Metalhead persona rather charming, though they did visit Sawa-chan a visit and gave her a private live performance that supposedly made her day. Much to everyone's surprise, Tom and Gary do drink tea with Yui and play pranks to scare off the other girls, though Paul Bostaph is open to giving Ritsu Tainaka some advice about drumming, hoping that she can use it to be more technical in her playing style in case she couldn't go too aggressive. Hopefully, one hopes that Slayer's affable, yet vitriolic relationship with Houkago does put a halt to Dethklok and Mayhem's antagonism towards them.
  • Of course, Slayer wouldn't be where they are right now if it weren't for their fans, be it as one of Heavy Metal's most celebrated artists or a place in the Pantheon, being able to play at their peak in however way they like it. As a bonus, they've also attracted a slew of new fans like Princess Luna and Iron Man, with the former being a surprise Metalhead to her friends and close ones and the latter being open about his taste in music. Slayer themselves were pleasantly surprised to see an alicorn and a superhero being a fan of their music, though they're a bit skeptical on how their music would fare in Equestra if they ever tour there. Supergirl at times listens to Hard Rock and Metal and sometimes sees Slayer as one of her preferred artists to listen to if she either wants to vent out her anger or stress or wants to beat the ever-living daylights out of someone, though she gets embarrassed about the idea of spilling literal Raining Blood on her worst days. Sure Slayer is happy to see that Supergirl likes their work, but they also want to affirm her not to put too much association with her mood on that out of concern on both sides. That, and there's some humor to be had in that Superman likes Metallic more while Supergirl prefers Slayer.
  • Apparently, there are claims that Slayer, in addition to being an opponent according to Moral Guardians, is also an act that terrifies hippies because according to Eric Cartman, "hippies can't stand Death Metal". Slayer snickered at the comment at first, until some people started to think that they are the first Death Metal band, which quickly began to annoy them, not to mention they're in the Pantheon to represent Thrash Metal. That said, Eric hasn't really learned much as he continues to see Slayer as a Death Metal band, mainly because he wants to get on everyone's nerves, including hardcore metalheads if need be. Beavis and Butthead, on the other hand, have made several attempts to butt heads with Slayer and despite their annoying antics, Slayer is a bit more tolerant of them, seeing as they just want to jam out their music and they think Slayer's music is apparently "peaceful and soothing".

[up] Allies with William Joseph Blaskowicz, who is a pretty good guitarist himself, and has befriended an Alternate Self version of Jimi Hendrix who fought in a Resistance Group based in Europe. He'd probably appreciate their music as well, for obvious reasons. Enemies with Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse, an infamous Nazi General responsible for an Alternate-History Nazi Victory through Stupid Jetpack Hitler, with himself practically running the Reich from behind the shadows. Strasse himself was involved in the extermination of "undesirables", through the running of labor and concentration camps in Occupied Europe that helped mine materials and manufacture machine parts for his weapons.

Edit: Once they're added, you can get my [tup].

@CrimsonShark I would have loved a mention on what the various killers reactions would be if a song is made about them since I would imagine their reactions would be range some sincere flattery to indifference to maybe hatred. Maybe some of them would try to kill the Band themselves for fun or because they don't like their music while others would reconsider and no kill the band due to hearing their music. It doesn't have to be like every single one of them but just like a general idea on what their reactions could be.

Then again, mentioning that the band would condone their actions or be afraid that would killers might get them for whatever reason (maybe for fun) in that text would have been repetitive.

But that is up to you. As for the profile itself, it looks good so far.

@CrimsonShark- Thanks for the thumb! :D And yeah, I'll try to work on that ^_^; As can probably be seen, I'm a lot more invested in King of Sorrow than Joka and thus am more easily coming up with detailed interactions for him while comparatively struggling with Joka (not helped by my block steadily returning). But again, I'll try to fix that.

On a related note, I'm doing Klonoa's rework at long last and got one question and one observation: first, are the Pantheon Groups still a thing or are they being "phased out" like the Grand United Alliances (if I'm recalling those discussions correctly, hard to keep track sometimes)? And if they are still a thing, then the Protectors of Dreams need an update cause Sandy is no longer in the Pantheon it seems. Since his role in the Protectors of Dreams was The Big Guy, and the Big Friendly Giant is already in the group, perhaps he could take that role in Sandy's stead? Assuming there isn't another "dream hero" who can qualify for The Big Guy.

Also, [tup] for Slayer

[up]Groups are being phased out.

You know, I am considering a replacement of thr Didact with a better candidate. A possible replacement would be Hikaru (maybe considering his little sister Kanon) from With the Light as their names are based on their birth, Hikaru being "Light of the East" being born from a sunrise and Kanon's birthname loosely translated to "sound of eastern flowers", referring the sound of a canon in the radio.

I'm open to other ideas so long as its a unique proposition.

Niko "Nick" Tatopoulos, God of Mundane Scientists Sent Off To Top-Secret Projects

He gets drafted to a top-secret project that involves a certain mutated creature named Godzilla. He proves component enough to not only research Godzilla enough to know certain facts and intentions about them. He even proved to be a factor on subduing him in the film.

@RJ-19-CLOVIS-93 - That's kinda funny since kinda-but-not-really Godzilla is in the Pantheon itself and he is better received nowadays among the Godzilla fandom, last time I've heard.

@Titania21 - I'll give you a [tup] since he seems interesting to write about.

@HamanaHamanaHamana - I don't have a comment on Hikaru and Kanon in particular but may I kindly ask why you would want The Didact's current title to be replaced? What is their new title if that's the case? This is to let you know that your comment is not ignored or anything.

@Hamana- Aw man sad I can understand phasing out the GUAs since they started to become too much, but I thought the groups were cool. But thanks! At least I can disregard that for Klonoa's rework. As for your idea, I'm afraid I'll abstain for the time being as I have no real input...

@Titania21- [tup] for Worm Guy. Even if the movie he's from isn't worth acknowledging, the cartoon based after it is well-regarded, and Nick is the main character there.

  • Enemies: Makoto Naegi, Shuishi Saihara, Komaru Naegi, Phantom Thieves of Heart, Sasuke Uchiha, Leela, Dexter Morgan, Hatsune Miku, Scott the Woz
  • Respects: Dahlia Hawthorne
  • The son of the prestigious politician So Sejima, Saito Sejima was born with a birth defect that ensured that he cannot feel positive emotions unless he touches a certain "itch" that he loves. Unfortunately for everybody, it is a murder that serves Saito Sejima’s “itch.“ His father did his best to hide his son's murders to save face, especially when the first person his son murdered was his teenage mistress. Eventually, Saito Sejima befriended the crime boss Rohan Kumakura and they started the identity of the Cyclops Killer together. Saito would murder women to satisfy himself then Kumakura would take their eyes as he had a kink for collecting them. A detective named Hayato Yagyu discovered their deeds from Kumakura through the Psync machine, a device that allowed people to infiltrate another person's memories. Prolonged time in a Psync machine had the consequence of switching the consciousness of the two participants under it, so Saito Sejima had the machine stolen to hatch a plan where he and Kumakura would escape their predicaments by having themselves and Hayato Yagyu swap bodies. Saito would end up in Hayato Yagyu's body but both ended up losing their memories, though not before Saito exchanged bodies with Kumakura. Arrested and put in a mental ward instead, Saito Sejima in Rohan Kumakura's body finally recalled his memories and sought to return to his body, not minding how much blood he spills along the way. Then fittingly upon returning to his body, Saito Sejima had his head explode in a gory mess, ending the nightmare of the Cyclops Killer.
  • Junko Enoshima was extremely keen to meet Saito once he ascended. She has known about the infamous Cyclops Killer for some time and since the Cyclops Killer legacy to his killings, she could only imagine the despair his victims felt before brutally killing them. Saito saw Junko Enoshima more as a replacement for his partner in crime, Rohan Kumakura since Kumakura is unable to join him in his current endeavors, so Enoshima has to do. Actually, Junko hates Saito with every fiber of her being thanks to him delightfully indulging his murders. She sticks with him since he brings her so much despair yet she also holds excitement when Saito will find despair. The Cyclops Killer just finds her addiction to despair pretty fucking stupid when she could just be a murderer herself to gain satisfaction instead of some convoluted plots that make any onlooker raise eyebrows.
Saito: Pick between liking people being miserable or not. At least I have a defect as an excuse!
Junko: Is it a despairing defect?
Saito: Bitch, fuck off for a bit.
  • Makoto Naegi has also known about the evils of the Cyclops Killer for a long time, correctly believing that Junko Enoshima would be attracted to that kind of person. He enlisted Shuichi Saihara and his sister to deal with the current murders of the Cyclops Killer until the Future Foundation can find a permanent solution to the problem. Shuichi solves the mysteries while Komaru shoots at the Cyclops Killer. Whenever Saito Sejima does show up, Komaru conveniently shoots him in the head enough to have rather explosive results (which brings up memories that Saito wishes to forget). The smell his body leaves is the worst part for people around him.
Saito: I still have that fucking electronic eyeball in me. No, I won't go around with an eyepatch. I look like a dimwit if have it.
  • The Phantom Thieves of Hearts went to target Saito Sejima for his obviously, evil ways that make some targets they faced at the height of their popularity look like saints in comparison. However, what they did not expect was that Saito Sejima's Palace was borderline insane to go through as a result of his cognitive disabilities. His Palace had its Shadows be as intelligent as Saito Sejima and be amongst the strongest Shadows the Phantom Thieves ever faced due to the Palace's gimmick on if any sort of violence happens, the Shadows become more powerful. Also, there are several scenarios where there is no choice but violence to happen. The Phantom Thieves had to call it quits once they ran into their fifth Satan who nearly killed them all. They have whittled a good portion of the Palace down but with their other obligations, trying to make Saito Sejima atone is going to take a lot longer than they ever anticipated.
  • Saito, despite the eye-gouging thing being his old partner-in-crime's duty as the Cyclops Killer, tried following their tradition in his special way. That being him consuming the eyeballs of his victims. Nobody knows how he could stomach it, though the adrenaline rush of murdering people probably overtook such concerns. Considering that he has to do the eye-ripping now, the Cyclops Killer wanted to have his useless cybernetic eye replaced by something better. It would be better to do that than have a good eye go into his colon. After hearing about the Sharingan and the Rinnegan, Saito wanted at least one of them to replace the cybernetic eye. It helped that those eyes can be taken off and put on as if they were just lightbulbs. That is why Saito looked into Sasuke Uchiha who had the Rinne Sharingan which was both the best qualities of the Rinnegan and Sharingan rolled into his convenient left eye. Sasuke was not having that and had the Cyclops Killer under a genjutsu that made him believe that he murdered Sasuke and could take one of his eyes. It was unfortunate for Saito since he realized removing his organic eye to make way for the Rinne Sharingan was more optimal. It took a painful few minutes to have his normal eye reinserted after the genjutsu wore off.
  • Leela has led protests outside of the crime scenes left by the Cyclops Killer. Why exactly? Because she believes that terms have appropriated the actual cyclops people by profiling them to negative roles such as a murderer. She stated that it would be similar to someone labeling another as the Filipino Robber or the Martian Humper. Filipinos being robbers and Martians being humpers would be appropriated, which would only leave to stereotyping. Of course, Leela protesting outside of the crime scenes has not stopped people from referring to Saito Sejima as the Cyclops Killer since it was an epithet developed by the public. In fact, Leela's protests have taken some attention away from the murder, which the actual Cyclops Killer lamented.
Saito: Shit. Now I got to call the Filipino Robber and the Martian Humper to warn them someone might be killing off their audience more than they do themselves.
  • Dexter Morgan despises Saito Sejima for his actions and has tried to hunt him down personally. Upon seeing Saito eat another person's eye, Dexter tried going in for the kill and stabbed through Saito. However, the police already arrived and the Bay Harbor Butcher had to perilously escape from them as they thought HE was the Cyclops Killer (Dexter accidentally dumped Sejima's body into a vat of acid). Dexter Morgan after escaping thought Saito Sejima's murders would stop them but behold, more Cyclops Killer murders happened. Dealing with Saito Sejima for Dexter is like dealing with pimples: they keep showing up after you pop them.
Dexter: Alright, I admit that was a pretty bad analogy.
  • Bill Williamson believes that Saito Sejima should aspire to kill for a greater purpose. He is a killer because of the evils of American society and a person can never argue he never had grander goals in mind (never mind the times he indulged in violence). If Saito Sejima has a condition that forces him to murder as many people are plausible, then he should help in brutalizing what Bill calls those who are evil. Bill even detailed what Saito should do. They should round all those people from the right and have them all chant their nation's anthem at gunpoint as Saito ripped their eyes off and forced them to be fed the previous person's eyeballs. It would only stop once they renounced all of their politics and their religion was wrong before being led off to a shooting range to be properly executed like their ancestors beforehand. Saito Sejima was both aghast by the brutal description Bill Williamson gave but felt his determination behind his plan, he could not without good consciousness reject his offer even if Saito lacked any political motivations despite having a politician for a father. Although Saito told that he would continue his murders until Bill Williamson can form a force large enough to overtake what Bill called "the Americanized heads of this authoritarian Pantheon" as nobody will stick out for him unless they had nothing to lose (which Saito had with his discretion). Bill Williamson agreed and checked off his list of those he wanted to recruit (Saito was Torturer 2 apparently).
  • The target that he particularly wanted to kill (aside from his father) was his half-sister, Iris Sagan, who was the result of his father's affair with a teenager. Although out of any target he Psynced with, masquerading as Iris Sagan proved to be the most difficult due to her open career as a popular streamer and an internet idol. So not only does he have to act like his extroverted sister in front of countless people, he had to do that while killing people on the sidelines. Hatsune Miku was quite alarmed on seeing at a karaoke, finding a bloodstained man doing his best to sing to one of her songs to prepare for that roll of B-set (a name which he coined for himself because murdering is more important than making better knows).
Saito: Resist! Allow your heart to take you! Okay... is this the only fucking song she memorized?
    Miku: *hyperventilating in nightcore*
  • Saito called Dahlia Hawthorne a pretty evil bitch. That is saying a lot coming from him. Her scheming surpassed Saito Sejima's own and only when she is backed into a corner that she can never escape from. Meanwhile, the Cyclops Killer left a lot of loose ends due to underestimating his targets a lot, especially if there was a porn magazine lying around. Dahlia Hawthorne is a bit proud even someone with a more distinctive murder count considered her even more conniving than himself. Instead of seeing a respectable fellow villain, she fits Sejima as a potential Unwitting Pawn that she may exploit when the time comes for it. What Saito can say is that he at least is not an Ephebophile unlike a certain father, to be manipulated by someone as young-looking as Hawthorne.
  • The Ethan Roarks of the Pantheon has a similar dynamic to what the Sejimas had. A highly influential politician who had to cover up his son's sadistic tendencies sounded similar on the surface. However, So Sejima as corrupt as he was, was glad to get rid of a person who could bring about their family's downfall and likely never had a fraction of an idea of what his son accomplished as the Cyclops Killer. Ethan Roark Senior knew and hid Ethan Roark Junior's pedophilic murdering tendencies with his influence. Both So Sejima and Ethan Roark Senior never supported or truly loved their sons but at least one never directly supported their sons. Saito despite eating eyeballs for the hell of it, though Ethan Roark Junior wants to do nothing but rape and kill children all day. Saito may have no issues with popping a bullet through a kid's head, but he never indulged in such lust. Still, the Cyclops Killer has major respect for the Roarks for their similarities to his life.
Saito: Have you ever walked in on your dad praying on Christmas for God to kill you?
Junior: Twice. I once thought Santa was in my room but it was just him drunk with a pillow.
  • Scott the Woz got on Saito Sejima's bad side by walking in on one of his murders. Saito was having him be his next victim though Scott "Will Eventually Take a Look at the First Mega Man" Wozniak has already dealt with a killer beforehand and is not afraid to face another one. He took out his secret weapon: a copy of Madden 08 that can surely stop any murderer out there. When Scott threw it at Saito Sejima's head, it triggered Saito's cybernetic eye's explosives, and to cut straight to the aftermath, bits of the brain were splattered all over Scott's clothes. He dumped that shirt in a donation bin having never washed it, knowing that society has a brain shortage and the less fortunate need the excess. Fortunately, Scott was nice enough to bring Saito Sejima to the hospital to be treated for murder, not that Saito is particularly grateful for being blown up in the first place.
  • Being dead, Saito had nothing to do with the Half Body Serial Killings a few years later. However, he would admit the case was far more complex than what he brought on. However, he noted that it somehow still involved his father considering the killer Uru Somezuki is another bastard his father brought to the world. Saito laughed so hard at this that the milk he had been inexplicable drinking broke out of his then empty eye socket. Now Saito wonders how many more secrets his father left and if Iris Sagan is a ticking time bomb as a sick way to complete the Rule of Three that all things follow apparently.
Saito: So you're telling me this Moksha will let us escape this reality to end up in the real world, which is where a bunch of nerds who are always arguing with each other are? And that this entire place was made by them to basically be a big pseudo-fanfic that they don’t know if it’ll pan out?
Tokiko: Precisely. If you reach Moksha, then you will find the truth of your current existence. Why else you would ascend a place to godhood with arbitrary titles that are specifically tailored for an archival list?
Saito: I would be fascinated if I am not questioning your sanity or questioning how you broke into my house.
Tokiko: Even some truth may be extracted from the most mad of minds.
Tokiko Shigure outright vanishes in front of Saito Sejima.
Saito: I think this electronic eye is making me see things.

@lawliet Didact's profile was mine but sometimes I personally feel like I chose an immature representative, given whatever the current state of Halo has become, so its fair enough I try to correct the course with a better suggestion. Of course I need feedback to see if its worth pursuing.

I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!

@ HamanaHamanaHamana:

On the topic of GUAs being phased out ... what's going to happen to those profiles that make tons of references to GUAs? On this very page there are 2 drafts (Padme Amilala and Tadano Hitonari) that make references to GUAs. Plus, there are profiles whose very ascension is linked to a GUA's actions - Lucrezia, who I just ascended last Friday, is just one example.

I get your arguments for doing so, but phasing out GUAs seems rather laborious.

Guys, I thought they meant just only this particular Group Page, they made zero mentions of the concept of the GUAs is being phased out but feel free to correct me on that one but don't misinterpret something they didn't say.

@HamanaHamanaHamana - Thank you for your explaination, I hope this clarifies for other people. While I still have no opinion on your proposal, I do hope you get feedback for other Tropers more famillar with those characters you are proposing as a replacement.
@M1gamiTensei - Missing People High On Homicide:
  • The Joker kills people because it is funny and he often enjoys offing loads of people, sometimes for no reason other than to entertain himself.
  • Hannibal Lecter - gets a kick of killings but is more tranquil about it
  • The Master also gets a kick out of killing people for no reason.
  • The White Witch - she felt a clear euphoria after killing Aslan but it's unclear if she just hates the lion so much or that's how she feels when she kills. She probably would embrassed or insulted to be lumpped with him.

The Beatles:

I'm still looking for particular deities from this list. Right now, I needed some feedback on what to remove or add on the flavor text. If there's no feedback, I'm going to assume you want all of it.

If any case, I would like to know if their profile so far is bulky or worthy to be on the Main Musicality Page and if so, for what Genre should The Beatles be in. I was thinking "Experimental".

Also, please don't blame me for adding a lot as I didn't expect they would be connected to a lot of media and most of these are not really like shallow references at all.

  • In 1960, The Beatles, a skiffle and beat turned rock-pop turned experimental rock band, was formed in Liverpool, England. The band, famously consisting of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, became widely regarded as the foremost, most successful, most influential act in rock and popular music history, and the main part of the creation of the 1960's counterculture. Before the band became popular, the original lineup of Lennon, McCartney, Harrison (all on guitar), and Pete Best (on drums) built their reputation playing clubs in Liverpool and Hamburg over three years between 1960 and 1963, with Stuart "Stu" Sutcliffe initially serving as the bass player, who later passed awaynote  in 1962. Sometime around that same year, they met their future manager Brian Epstein, who helped them with PR and was the one who suggest their early Mop-top and suit look, and George Martin, head of Parlophone Records, who was the one who suggested that Pete Best had to be replaced by a veteran local drummer, Richard Starkey, AKA Ringo Starr. Thus "The Fab Four" most people are familiar with were formally formed, with their first single "Love Me Do" becoming a hit, and became popular in the UK in late 1962, starting what the press called "Beatlemania", which described the intense fan frenzy towards the British band. Continuing to chart hits from their debut album and the single "I Want to Hold Your Hand", they later grew popular internationally by early 1964, after they went to America for three appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show, leading the "British Invasion" across the United States pop market and many countries.
    • From 1965 onwards, the Beatles would produce twelve studio albums, some of the best-selling albums of the 1960s, and some considered by many consider their finest and most innovative material, as well as creating music videos, films based on their lives and albums and even inspired two Band Toons, most of which are influential in their right. However, once their manager died in 1967, tensions between the band members grew, leading to in-fighting due to wanting to take their music in different directions and new management, with egos rising and other members being ignored at times. After several instances of the members briefly quitting during various album productions, the band finally broke up in 1970 and pursued solo careers on their own, some music-related, some not. In 1974, the dissolution of their group contract was finalised, but by then, the former Beatles archived varying lengths of success in their solo music careers, as all four members had topped the Billboard Hot 100 on their own. While some of the former Beatles would occasionally reunite to do various music projects together, a full-on reunion or reformation was never meant to be, as John Lennon was shot and murdered by a mentally unstable fan in December 1980, and George Harrison died of lung cancer in November 2001. Still, the surviving members, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, remain musically active to this day, continuing the legacy their little band started all those decades ago.
  • Applies to the group or at least two members:
    • Some time after George's passing but before one of them would pass in the future, the surviving former Beatles members, Paul and Ringo were relaxing alone in one of their respective residences when they are flashed with a blinding bright light and teleported to a familiar rooftop on a cloudy day. When bright flashing have subsided, the first thing they noticed was that they were in a different location, which shocked them but not as shocking as when they looked at each other, and looking like their younger selves in their late 30s. Before the two men's shock even wore off, they saw two other younger-looking men around some band and film equipment, doing soundchecks and playing familiar tunes, which the two instinctively realized who they were instantly. The two younger men from the rooftop, who Paul and Ringo know as John and George, turned around as the two others walked towards them and looked with an utterly shocked expression, which gave them looks of surprise as well. Paul and Ringo couldn't believe that they are seeing their fellow former bandmates decades after they have passed while John and George didn't expect that they could see their friends again in the flesh but were worried the two surviving members have passed away themselves, to which the other two clarified that they haven't. After the two surviving members were calmed down, allowing the shock to wear off a bit, they explained how they got here and then questioning why they are even here. In turn, the two other members on the rooftop explained their strange situations, that they have arrived in the Pantheon atop their current temple, likely been ascended here to be chosen for a title for some silly Trope they collectively did, apparently. While they initially didn't understand what any of those meant, the two remaining Beatles were just really happy to finally reunite with their long-deceased mates in this strange world, whatever remaining grievances they have in the past must have been washed away years ago.
      • After their heartfelt reunion, the now reunited Beatles were instantly summoned into the Court of Gods, who then bring them up to speed that John and George spend quite some unspecified time in the Pantheon titleless, unable to be granted formal deification and some of its perks (like having to call upon heralds from the mortal world) individually, due to some odd unknown glitch that causes the system to not complete their registration, which was fixed when all of them are present for their group Title choosing. Unfortunately, due to their various accomplishments, the court gave them a huge list of possible titles to choose from, but rather than the members having to fight over which one to choose (they don't feel like arguing among themselves right now), they instead insisted that the Court choose it for them. One of the Court members decided to put the list into a random number generator and got the God of Rooftop Concerts, which seems appropriate for them as that is the last time they performed together as a band they were initially famous for. While Paul and Ringo didn't think of that event as anything special, nevertheless The Fab Four collectively agreed to take the title as a symbol of their happy reunion and renewed friendship, to which the Court approved their decision.
      • After a few days, the four of them started planning an impromptu rooftop concert to celebrate their ascension and formally announced their presence in the Pantheon, as they are very grateful to whoever is responsible in bring John and George back to life and they feel like they deserve to see at least one rooftop concert from the Band. Part of the reason they are initially hesitant to perform (and why they stopped doing regular tours in 1966) was because 1) the crowds tend to be so big and loud that they nor the audience can hear any music they play 2) they were concerned about their personal security 3) just the general exhaustion from touring and doing live shows in general. Lucky for them, when the band voiced their concerns, they were gifted 4 sets of high-tech noise-canceling earpieces courtesy of the House of Machinery and Technology along with a booklet on how to use them, a letter from the House of Defense about some of their members volunteering for crowd control, and another letter from the House of Music stating they have full permission to hold this concert, this time without police intervention (besides crowd control) and they can stop at anytime whenever they feel like.
    • On the day of their entrance concert, the areas around the building where they are playing were packed to the brim with people who screaming so ear-deafeningly loud that one of the concert goers, Timmy Turner, had wished to his fairies to put the crowd on a low volume during the whole concert. Originally, the Band played a one and a-half-hour setlist before extending it to two and a half hours due to encore requests from the crowd, which is not normal for them back when they were touring but they kept playing on anyway as they kept looking and are fascinated by the various people and fantastical creatures that shown up down the street, on the adjacent rooftops and up above them. Besides some protestors outside the Music Hall, the concert went by smoothly without incident much to the Band's collective relief. On their first week after their successful concert, they were visited by a few deities who shared their rooftop stories, which the Band finds interesting, except for George who borely remarks that "It's Been Done.", but even he was interested in these next 3 stories. Sabrina Spellman, the teenage witch, shared how their band Flavor Babes note  reunited by doing a rooftop performance after they temporarily broke up due to their clashing egos caused by their rockstar-making spell, which the Boys from Liverpool find it very relatable, even if the Band find that the Flavor Babes played very terribly without magic. The Band (especially Paul who had a collab with a rap artist before) feel bad for Killer B, Ninja God of Gratuitous Rapping, after being drop-kicked from his rooftop performance by his brother A, because the latter was not pleased that he was performing in the middle of an alliance meeting. The Reformed Members were touched by TriState Area residents Phineas, Ferb, and Candace's story about how they found their lost pet Perry by playing music on the rooftop in the hope that he can hear it and come back to them, although they did question where their parents were during all this.
John Lennon: Aren't you a little too young to be performing on top of a building unsupervised?
Phineas Flynn: Yes, yes we were.
    • No one is bigger than they are in the domain of Music, as you can see by the number of bands and artists they have influenced or covered their songs. They are very well liked by the House of Music and even its most evil aligned members have a begrudging respect for them (with perphaps slight jealousy). Their closest allies are fellow musical bands and artists who The Fab Four appreciate the music they create (inspired by The Beatles or not), or has some creative project related to them. Some of the early Pink Floyd members were very fortunate to met the Band in person in Abbey Road Studios in the mortal realm when they were making their debut album and The Beatles were making Sgt. Pepper, and they are still awestruck with respect for them before or after they entered the Pantheon. While Freddie Mercury nor his herald Queen bandmates have never met the Band in the mortal realm since Queen formed around the same time the Beatles broke up, they did meet each former Beatle on different occasions, meanwhile Freddie professed his admiration to John as he feels like he couldn't fully live up to him. Even younger bands like Green Daynote , Weezernote  and even Gorillaz note  have looked up to them with respect. Of course Weird Al admires and has made of parodies of their songs, but he hopes that those songs won't be better remembered more than the originals due to his title he has. Lastly, The Fab Four replied to Metallica, as while they really do like their In My Life cover, they are afraid it might take a while for "Beatallica", the mashup group of both, to play their music freely due to some song rights hoopla they have deal with in the mortal realm. They also used to be one of the "Modern Music" representatives in a group known as "The Master Composers" of the House of Music but when the House was being renovated into the current House of Musicality, they decided to forfeit their positions as they aren't active leaders there anyway. This allowed Houkago Tea Time note  a chance to apply for the now renamed "Pop" spot in the newly formed "The Divine Music Genre Artists". The Girls swimmingly get along with The Beatles due to their similar temperaments and musical quirks, thought, it's debated which members are based on each Beatle (you can find some two examples here). Regardless, it's agreed that Paul and Mio are the ones that get along the most, they are both left-handed bass players who like to write silly love song and deal with their close main band partner. The Boys from Liverpool wholeheartedly supported the Girls from Sakuragoaka's positions in the main Music House.
    • The Beatles are pleasantly glad and surprised when they have various fans and casual admirers of their music, even if some of them originated from different realms (the Band figured that they have their world's version of the Beatles, which is kinda crazy to think about for them). Their biggest fan is a sarcastic Argentinian six-year-old girl named Mafalda, who after learning that she fainted upon seeing them, the Fab Four gave them this photo of them holding her picture, which she loved when she woke up. Girl-Next-Door Betty Cooper and Spoiled-Sweet-Rich-Girl Veronica Lodge have been fans of theirs since the height of Beatlemania (yes, they were that old) but since they don't age and on a sliding timeline, you don't notice this at first. Aqours, the school idol group of Uranohoshi Girls' School, are admirers of their music and they even have plans to make a Beatles tribute performance on a rooftop. The Girls and Guys from The New Directions Glee Club are familiar with them as they were given a two-week assignment to cover their songs, which they sang to express their frustrations in their lives and their romantic feelings for the others (even after school).
      • Speaking of guys, there were quite a lot of non-musician guys who like their music too! The Movie Riffers from The Satellite of Love Crew references and quotes the Beatles so often that one follower listed a bunch of them. SiIvaGunner, a Divine Collective who identifies as one male, likes the Band a lot that he posts his High-Quality Rips of their music to his YouTube channel. While the Fab Four likely don't approve of bootleggers of their music, they are perplexed on why it sounded so different from the ones they originally recorded. Another fan, high-schooler Ferris Bueller who once skipped school, went on a parade to passionately lip-syncing performed to "Twist and Shout" with everyone around him gleefully dancing to the music. James Bond is obviously a fan, given one of them (Paul) wrote "Live and Let Die" and another (Ringo) is married to Agent XXX. However, he prefers to only meet them when screaming crowds aren't present - 007 once said "That's as bad as listening to The Beatles without earmuffs" for a reason! Due to learning that their mortal Superior is a Beatles fan, that their world is filled with occasional references to their music, and that they are sometimes named after them in their original language, The Chosen Four, Kid Heroes from Eagleland, got along very well with The Fab Four.
    • The actual temple The Beatles are residing looks like the front of the Apple Corp building, which has 4 floors for each Beatle and where they and their heralds (their now resurrected manager and their respective loved ones) resided in, a state of the art recording studio in the basement, of course, a rooftop, which is actually where they first reunited and held their first Pantheon live performance. Absolutely no outsiders is allowed inside their residential temple unless you are appointed or let in by one of the Beatles themselves. The temple and the area within the vicinity are some of the most secured and highly guarded areas in the entire House of Music. It's not that they are afraid of dying (after all they are aware that they can be revived again if they did), but they are all afraid of being violently attacked (something both John and George can attest to), kidnapped by fan or supervillain, and/or tortured for any reason. Annie Wilkes, Goddess of Loony Fans and an unhinged kidnapper of her favorite writer, and all of her followers are absolutely not allowed within several kilometers of their temple, despite not having stated any opinions on the band herself (besides her possible disapproval for John's infamous comment, which would be discussed later). The area surrounding their temple looks like a typical small and relatively quiet London or Liverpool-like city distinct with a bunch of old brick buildings, several trees, and a cloudy sky. There are a lot of small-numbered floored buildings around the temple which are used for fan meet-ups or musical sessions or if one decides to do a rooftop concert of their own, with the Band's only request is to not make their music too loud while they have guests over.
    • Their first Pantheon performance made them reconsider bringing back live performances, with them performing on the rooftops periodically before later deciding to perform on an actual stage or simply explore if ever they get invited to other Houses (and they tend to get a lot of invites from them). If ever the Band visit and explore the various Pantheon for a non-musical related trip, they are either never alone and always have security guards with them, wear some protective technology (like a force field, bullet proof vest or GPS) or just wear a disguise (which they used to do in their early careers). This ease a bit of fear for traveling to places especially the two early ascended Beatles, as while everyone knows of John's unfortunate death, not a lot of people know that George once survived an attack in his residence by a mentally unstable fan. What eased their fears even more was when US Presidents Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, Teddy Roosevelt, and Gerald Ford, all of them experienced public assassination or attempts in their careers with Lincoln and Kennedy being the cause of their ascension and Roosevelt and Ford surviving theirs, wrote letters to both John and George when they first ascended about their own experiences before and after their ascension and reassure them that the Pantheon and some of its heroic deities would keep them protected despite the increase dangers all around them. Only Gerald Ford is aware of the band when he was a mortal and he even personally visited their temple a few weeks after George ascended.
    • Much like most deities (even the IRL ones), The Beatles have "default" looks and ages to easily identify them among other deities, but can also shift ages and outfits from time to time, although the Band typically looks like their late 30's and early 40's (around the same age John passed away). Both John and George had tried to age themselves to match the ages of their surviving members but they don't use this form for very long as they sometimes get overwhelmed with sadness about the years they have lost. Although their older selves don't like shifting into their younger 20's selves that much because of their mature mindset, they would occasionally (sometimes unintentionally) shift into this form, complete with their Mop-top and suits, with the side effect that their mindset also changes that they can act jokey, carefree and free-spirited, similar to their fictional characterization in movies like "A Hard Day's Night" and "Help!". They can also be seen in other outfits as well like Sgt. Pepper's outfit (where they are treated as if they are another band) or their Magical Mystery Tour outfits. To shift to a different topic, they acquired the rank of Lesser Deities due to their highly skilled talents and massive influence (with the typical trappings and stress of fame) and also that they don't prefer to be called "Gods" due to their various religious beliefs, (which would be discussed later). They are also without any supernatural powers of their own and if you bought up that they had one while being stuck on other planets, they would give you looks of confusion. Also, before you ask, yes, they have taken drugs like weed and LSD in their younger years but they have renounced it since 1967, so they advise other deities or followers to don't offer them any of those things if ever they met up with them in person.
    • The Fab Four were surprised and slightly weirded out that there are beings from other worlds that resemble their likeness (along with their level of popularity and talents to boot), due to that they got along fine with the deities who recognised their likeness. They first learn of this after a casual meeting from Asterix, God of Gauls and Divine Defender of Tiny Villages, who once told them about a similar popular group of bards who are swarming with fan girls on Asterix and Obelix's visit to 50 BC Britannia. The Band also befriended Cookie Monster, after learning their resemblance to the musical group of 4 insects named "The Beetles" and they even performed a cover of their song "Hey Food" with him at a charity concert held at the House of Food. Even if she broke up with the travelling band that highly resembles them (well at least three of them) due to creative differences, Pinkie Pie, Pony Goddess of Parties, is still on good terms with the human Young Lads, even throwing an welcoming party during their visit to one of her residing Halls. Even thought the two lab mice are not seen pulling the same scheme as last time, simple-minded lab mouse Pinky get along with the Fab Four just fine since they resemble a lot like another famous Liverpudlian band from their world "The Feebles" (no, not that kind of Feebles). Thought the scheming lab mouse The Brain is afraid that Pinky's new found friendship with the Band may distract him from their world taking schemes, while the Band are a bit more unsure of The Brain due to his actions and motivations in taking over the world are because he thinks he can run the world better than those who are currently in charge. Due to being reminded of the Band's time with an Indian yoga guru named Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, they became allies with The Guru of the Stone, who agreed to teach them an Australian Aboriginal peaceful magic called Dreamtime after The Guru was reminded of the 4 rockstars of their likeness who he used to train with.
      • Their resemblance to other beings in other worlds, however, doesn't bring them good all the time. The strangest event to have happened to them so far was when an adult Bengal tiger was found stalking their temple, watching the windows with murderous intent, until a half-dressed black-haired South Asian boy with a torch and a huge black bear came and to shoo him away. When the Band came out to the boy after the tiger left, the Man-Cub Mowgli explained to the them that the tiger, named Shere Khan, must have been stalking them due to how similar they look to the vultures that helped defeat him and is probably seeking to vent his frustrations into them while the vultures haven't ascended yet. The Band thanked both of them and then started to install fake fire lanterns shortly after being told of the tiger's fear of the Red Flower (since that was the vultures' idea to it against him). One thing they don't appreciate is when they learned that other humans of their likeness is being beat-up and audibly harassed by 3/4 of The Beat-Alls, consisting of the ascended villains Mojo Jojo, Princess Morbucks, HIM (who they claim that the Band stole a lot of their ideas from them). While The Powerpuff Girls were initially unfamiliar with this "dumb old band", they grew to befriend The Fab Four (especially to Ringo, who admits that he wished to be a Powerpuff himself). The three superpowered girls promised to be vigilant in case Fuzzy Lumpkins' ascension would cause The Beat-Alls to reunite once more.
    • Elvis Presley and The Beatles have a... surprisingly complicated relationship with each other, despite apparently only meeting once during Elvis' lifetime. Back in the mortal world, The Boys From Liverpool initially quite like his music a lot, citing him as one of their greatest musical inspirations (at least for their early music), while Elvis initially like them back when they were a new band. However, their views of each other have slowly changed, with the Boys falling out of their admiration for him due to his shifting musical style and his increased focus on movies and soundtracks (John (with Paul sharing the same opinion) remarking that Elvis "died when he went into the army") while Elvis infamously called them "a real force for anti-American spirit" for being a foriegn band making their money in the US and leaving, being against the Vietnam War, and their drug use, which hurt them personally, both as anti-war activists and fans of a lot of American music. Sometime after Elvis passed in 1977 and his ascension shortly after, he made no mention of what he thought of their breakup or with regards to John and George's ascension nor did the two former Beatles ever try to visit his temple during their title waiting period. Perhaps the two still have Elvis' statement in mind, or they still hold him in high regard (especially after he passed) after all these years but didn't know how to approach him again as they didn't mean to elipse him in popularity, even relate to him as the Band were later told by some of their fans to return to their old style, or pity him for his personal demons. Perhaps he is secretly jealous of them because they became popular when his popularity was waning, but later felt sad about their unfortunate passing since he didn't have any personal grudges against them, just what they represent for him. After Paul and Ringo's ascension and when Elvis learns that Paul still honors him, even bought a bass and imagined that he performing there with him, he became more conflicted since he probably unsure how someone on Paul's situation would still admire him that much after all these decades and he continues to contemplate his views about them. For now, they see each other as more amicable musical rivals in all of House of Musicality but they have a long way to go before they can call each other proper Allies.
      • Learning about Paul's trip to Graceland made the other Beatles reminisce about Elvis in his prime and they eventually made friends with other Elvis fans as well. One of them was a Hawaiian girl named Lilo Pelekai, who was surprised that these famous musicians were as big fans of Elvis as well. In turn, she showed them a video of Snitch and Dr. Doofenshmirtz performing their song "Blackbird", and while the two were seen happily making fun of their lyrics, the Band, who isn't afraid to make fun of themselves, appreciate the video nevertheless and even find their odd friendship kinda adorable. Another group of Elvis fans, The Curtis Gang, a close-knit group of greaser youths, didn't expect to learn The Beatles were fans of Elvis themselves or expect to learn that they all didn't come from a rich or normal familiar background. They were also not prepared to learn that The Boys From Liverpool also used to dress like greasers as well as this was before Ringo joined their group, thought the three members did admit they aren't into the Greaser culture, they wore it because they are still trying to find their look and wanted to imitate the other small bands in their area back then. When the Band learned their story (which they pity them for) and what some of their fans (the upper-class teens known to them as Socs) from their world did, they were understandably pissed and, although they don't approve of it, they understand of Johnny's actions of killing one of them to save his friend Pony when a group of Soc tried to attack him. While the Gang sees the rich and famous Beatles (especially in the Band's 20-something form) too much like the upper-class Socs to be properly friends with them nor do they have an interest in trying out their music, they are amicable with each other since they don't have anything personal against with them either.
    • Speaking of conflicting opinions, remember it was previously mentioned that there were protesters during their first rooftop concert? Those people are actually some Christian Members of the House of Religion and Faith and other Christian deities in the Pantheon, who argued that John proclaiming that he was bigger than Jesus himself, is enough to get him and the band kicked out of the Pantheon for their blasphemy, or at least banned from coming into their House. Frankly, this peeved John a lot and he argues to the protestors picketting outside their temple one day that: 1) The quote was actually "We're more popular than Jesus now." 2) This statement was not actually about comparing himself with Christ but was attempting to explain the decline of Christianity in the UK, when in comparison, people are more focused on other stuff, like rock 'n' roll. It has nothing to do with any sort of God complex at all or the bashing of religion in that statement. 3) He has already issued an apology for saying that statement (even if he was initially reluctant to apologize since he believes he was just expressing his opinion). 4) He doesn't have a problem with Jesus himself, even if he would later say that he doesn't believe in him in one song and then convert back to Christianity three years before he died. note 5) He finds it a bit insensitive of them to judge him for that as he was informed after he ascended that his killer cites his bloody comment as one of the reasons for killing him. That last statement put their protest to a screeching halt, as some of them started to feel pity about the reason for John's ascension in the first place or not wanting to attribute themselves with a killer. Since then, there were fewer protests around the House of Musicality, mostly from some conservative Christians deities who are in either disagreement/denial of John's statement, refusing to listen to his reasoning or just don't like The Beatles' counterculture vibe in general. Also, considering as mentioned previously that the Band isn't afraid to make fun of themselves, even referring to themselves occasionally in their solo works or outside their music, they probably aren't that offended if people from other worlds make references to that statement.
    • In contrast, the group has better relations with the Christian Top Gods of the Pantheon, which they didn't know what surprised them more; that they exist in physical form in this place, that there are multiple versions of the same Abrambic-Christian God, or that they co-living with a few Hindu deities, which also physically exist. For context, the members, in the first half of their career, first describe themselves as "all agnostics" at first despite being raised in a Catholic/Protestant background. But it wasn't until later 1965 did their beliefs changed, with John and Ringo went on to have varying views and beliefs on Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism, George fully embraced Hinduism and alternative views of Christianity until his death and Paul seems to be some sort of agnostic still. When we meant better, we meant that they are not actively opposed to each other, as most Top Gods (the Good Aligned ones anyway) are pretty good, understanding, and chill with all members (but especially to John, George and Ringo), including His Highest Joynote , The God That Bob Knowsnote , The God That Bruce Knows note , The One Above Allnote , The Presencenote , Eru Ilúvatarnote  and the Hindu God Vishnu (who sometimes appear to them under the guise of one of his avatars Krishna) note . While little is known about his recent religious beliefs, Paul seems to be fine with their interactions with other Top Gods regardless.
      • One of the few Top Gods who is not chill with them is YHVH, who is offended by both interpretations of John's earlier statement, both because he's frankly (or secretly) intimidated that a couple of ordinary humans were able to steer attention away from him (and bragged about it) or that he is insulted by John's assertions that his influence is decreasing due to something that is created by mortals to entertain themselves. Either way, The Great Will doesn't like either of those ideas and seeks to smite all of them to satisfy his frustrations, but considering the Band has the backing of both the Abrahamic and Hindu Top Gods, he might have to think of other solutions or just focus on other more important affairs for now. Another Top God they have a problem with is the God that calls Himself Chuck Shurley, the former Missing God, who treats his world as if it was an original novel for his amusement and they don't like the idea that their respective personal tragedies are there for his entertainment only, and this is not even getting to the whole world reset thing. While he doesn't have any specific beef with them and he even admits that he's a music fan himself, believing it to be the greatest thing humanity has ever created, the Band did not return his sentiments at all and chooses to ignore him.
    • One of the things The Beatles are known for is their message of Peace and Love. They started being opposed to the idea of War itself after learning about the horrors of the Vietnam War that was occurring at the time and since then, they have used their fame to promote these ideals and made several songs dedicated to the concept of world peace and anti-war messages. Their time at the Pantheon is no different and the Band was horrified by the existence of the Forever War going on in the Houses and have zero interest in joining any of it, even the GUAG (though that's mostly because of their neutral alignment and being super busy). They are considered honorary members of the Houses of Love and Affection and Friendship and Camaraderie. The Band opposes beings like Big Brother for having a perpetual war under the guise of maintaining peace. They initially opposed the War Doctor but after The Doctor explained that they are ashamed of that incarnation for breaking his promise to be kind to others, the Band forgives them, especially after learning the lives The Doctor has saved, which included their own.
    • War and Violence is not the only things they don't like, as The Band themselves have beef with a few of the deities and the titles they represent. Being no stranger to the shady bureaucracy of the Music Industry, The Beatles don't like the shrewd and money-hungry Music Executive Eric Raymond, who in turn, is jealous of their success and plans to take them down once he takes down Jem and her band first. Being reminded of their former fans burning their records following John's Jesus comment, the Band would also oppose Captain Beatty, the God of Book Burning. While little is known about his opinions on music during his time in his world, it's safe to assume that Captain Beatty would be wary of the information spreading and emotional manipulating power of music with its harmful effects, and hearing the Beatles' record burning tales gave him some ideas if he ever ran out of books to burn. The House of Musicality is well prepared should fires start to break out in their Domain. Due to their unpleasant experience with The Klan, they also oppose Col. Benjamin Cameron, a deity who is a representative of Klansmen, to which the Colonel, in turn, opposes the Band simply because he agreed with the modern Klansmen's opinions on the Band's perceived blasphemy, being a conservative Christian himself. After The Trollkaigers invited Mola Ram to a screening of "Help!", The Head of the Thuggees was outraged by their mockery of his religion and swore to sacrifice The Beatles to appease the Hindu goddess of death, Kali. This offended the Band, especially George because it was during the filming of their movie Help! when someone gave them a book about reincarnation and sparked their interest in Indian culture, they feel like they have more respect for Indian culture than Mola Ram ever could. Krishna (and by extension Vishnu) would promise to bring Mola Ram into a world of Hurt if he ever tried to kill and sacrifice one of his followers and their friends against their will.
    • The Young Lads are well aware of English author J. R. R. Tolkien's hatred of them, especially to the point that his followers would trash their followers and caused a Fandom Rivalry with them. Some information from the House of Knowledge provides the answer that it's because he hated hearing and being exposed to the noise some Beatles wannabe band would make near his residence, though there's no information if he has any personal grudges with the Band itself. Perhaps it is speculated that his traditionalist Catholic views would oppose their counterculture agnostic-ish beliefs or perhaps it's because he just doesn't like the idea that some "pop stars" are seriously pursuing to star in an on-screen adaptation of his beloved books, like if George R. R. Martin was approached by Coldplay to adapt one of his books (which kinda happened by the way). According to the mortal director and Guillermo del Toro's High Priest Peter Jackson, they had this plan back in 1968 to adapt The Lord of the Rings and even approached Stanley Kubrick to direct the film. John wanted to play Gollum, while Paul would play Frodo, Ringo would take on Samwise and George would have bearded up to play Gandalf. Paul said to him that he's glad that he's seen Jackson's version but laments that if Jackson had not made it, there could have been a musical, maybe with Beatles' songs as the soundtrack. Either way, regardless of whether a Beatles-led adapatation could be been a good idea or not, they seem to be on good terms with most of Tolkien's creations since they are still fans of his work (or at least to The Lord of the Rings) and the beings from Middle-Earth don't have a real grudge against them that isn't tied to their Superior. They've also made allies of the characters they are supposed to play as, since they each felt flattered by their gesture of wanting to embody their journeys, except for Gollum, who John pities for the hobbit's obesssion with the One Ring. Kubrick is still the Band's ally (the Band and the strict director were glad to see each other after the director's passing) as well as another director Steven Spielberg (who is a big Beatles fan), leading to rumors that they are collabing on making other book adaptation of some kind, though both parties have not confirmed or denied these rumors.
    • There's a rumor that was lingering in the Pantheon that the entire reason why the nickname JoJo was applied to Jonathan Joestar and most of his descendants was because of their song "Get Back", which was focused on a man named Jojo. While neither The Beatles nor Jonathan would elaborate any further, they get along rather well otherwise. Meanwhile, his grandson Joseph Joestar is a fan of the Band, has even gone to see one of their concerts in the 60s, and also got along with the Band when they finally met up. Through their interactions with the Joestars, the Band learned of the existence of Stands, which Joseph explains, is a manifestation of one's own life energy and that it possesses powerful superhuman abilities, which made the spiritually-aware members a bit curious. They are surprised to learn that some of these Stands are named are songs, bands, and artists they are familiar with, and two of those Stands, namely White Album (with one of its abilities named "Gently Weeps") and Ticket to Ride (which was created when The Holy Corpse, which may or may not be Jesus' actual corpse, merged with its owner) seem to be named after one of their albums and two of their songs, though Joseph clarifies that the names of these Stands are probably coincidental in his world. While they are impressed by White Album's freezing abilities and being able to create a nigh-invincible armor for its wearer, the same cannot be said with the Stand's owner Ghiaccio of La Squadra Esecuzioni, who they opposed simply because he's an assassin and a really clever one at that. The Band gets along better with Ticket to Ride's owner Lucy Steel, who the Band was impressed by her feats at such young age, even if they slowly got over her and her older husband's unusual marriage arrangement. If there's one thing the Christians of The House of Religion and Faith and The Beatles can agree on, is that they both wanted to understand how her whole "giving virgin birth to the head of Christ" thing works.
    • Some of the residents of Springfield have a long history with some of The Beatles members. Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, a friend of the Band since they met each other in India during their Maharishi days, claims he used to be known as the Fifth Beatle, to which Paul just rolls his eyes when he hears that. Ned Flanders, who is and still is a fan, used to have a room filled with Beatles memorabilia until Bart and Millhouse wrecked it. While he's made no mention of what he thinks of John's infamous comment, it's evident that Flanders still admires the Band regardless. Krusty the Clown has met the Band once and even has a picture of their meeting, which hangs on his office wall. The Simpsons themselves have interacted with some of The Beatles members, which led the Family to finally meet all of The Fab Four during a visit to the Band's temple. Marge Simpson was able to thank Ringo for inspiring her to paint again after struggling with Mr. Burns' painting job. Lisa Simpson was able to thank Paul who, with the help of Apu, inspired her to continue her veganism after being ostracized by the town for her choices. Homer Simpson was able to thank George for pointing him towards a pile of brownies at a party after his barbershop quartet "The Be Sharps" won a Grammy. While John has never met any of the Simpson Family in his lifetime in the mortal realm, he initially feels a slight anger towards Homer as John vaguely recalls his murder spree of various celebrities to help exploit their decreased likeness and he even locked the gates of their section of heaven after those dead celebrities descend to take revenge on those who exploited them. Since Homer doesn't recall these events at all, the Simpson patriach's horrified expression when glasses-wearing Beatle described the events was enough for John to be convinced he's not the same Homer from that memory and slowly warms up to him.
    • Since they were kids, John, George, and Paul knew right from the get-go that they would be famous stars one day, but they couldn't conceive how it would impact their lives in the future. Sure, they get all the attention, get some freebies from their fame (and aren't afraid to admit that), and their music gets heard by everyone, however, the downside to that is all the stress that would include for them (working non-stop without little breaks during their tours, legal troubles from their song rights, controversy from people who took their word and song out of context with sometimes deadly results, being swarmed by crazy fans and journalist while giving them almost little privacy, etc.). It's like both a blessing and a curse for them but surprisingly enough, the Band finds themselves being pitied by Archie Andrews, a red-headed high schooler, who told them about his worries during a private fan meet-up with Betty and Veronica. He once had experience being in a band like they were with Reggie, Moose, and Jughead (complete with their Mop-top hair) to prove that they can be famous if they look like them only for them get exactly what they wanted with having their eager fans follow them everywhere non-stop. Granted, while this is all coming from a dream, it still makes him nervous especially learning about the stuff that happened after The Beatles' Beatlemania days and their break-up and that he hopes that his actual band "The Archies" doesn't suffer the same fate. The Beatles, who are aware of their band as their single "Sugar Sugar" actually outpace them at one point, told Archie and his friends that they would have to deal with that eventually (hopefully not in a drastic situation as them) and they give him some tips for the three of them, both with dealing with fame and music tips too.
    • While The Beatles are together in the sense that they are playing as a band again and have no problems with it, they aren't going full-time with the reunion, at least not yet. Eventually, Paul and Ringo would return to the mortal realm as they still have their mortal obligations to deal with, leaving John and George to run their temples most of the time, but they did promise each other to reunite more often or visit the Pantheon their own as they find the place is too interesting for them to pass up. If ever they reunite (which isn't often but not rarely), they would continue to do tours on the rooftops or actual stages periodically (like maybe 3 months to 1-year intervals) as they feel like touring is a bit tiring for them to do it often. Plus they still have their solo careers to deal with, with Paul and Ringo doing their thing in the mortal realm while George and John have theirs in the Pantheon. As for another Beatles album, they are a bit secretive about it if they are working on it or not but who can say for sure that happens in the future? But for now, they seem content making this place their own in the meantime.

The GUAs are not being phased out. Rather, they are being largely reworked. Necromancer 10 is in charge of revamping them.

THE GOLDEN AGE WILL RETURN AGAIN!
