Make AITA posts in the style of fictional characters

In case you don't know, AITA (short for "am I the asshole?") is a Reddit forum for people trying to find out if they were in the wrong. Here are the rules of the game.

1. Someone asks, "AITA for [situation]?" while linking to the work they're referencing (e.g. "AITA for telling my student that his father was killed, when actually the 'killer' *is* his father?", then describes the situation from the perspective of the character.

2. The second player responds with any of these abbreviations, plus an explanation:

• YTA (you're the asshole) — Means the character is to blame and the other person is not.
• NTA (not the asshole) — Means the character is not to blame and the other one is.
• ESH (everyone sucks here) — Means both parties are to blame.
• NAH (no assholes here) — Means nobody is to blame.
• INFO — Means more information is required.

3. The second player then starts the game over by making their own post from the perspective of a different character.

4. While this game is based off Reddit, this is actually TV Tropes, so it doesn't need to follow the "no violence" or "no relationships" rules. You can indeed make posts referencing those as long as it's from a work.

5. However, because this is TV Tropes, a new rule must be added — no Complaining About Shows You Don't Like. So things like "YTA for being a South Park character" are not allowed.

I'll start:

AITA for making embarrassing videos about my sisters and posting them online?

I (11M) want to make a video for a contest, but my videos are getting no views. My older sister (14F) let me borrow her video camera, so I recorded my other sisters doing various embarrassing things (things like farting, running into walls, splitting pants, that kind of thing).

The sister whose camera it was had previously told me that I shouldn't upload the videos I took without asking the permission of whoever was in them, but I ignored that and posted it online anyway.

Now all of my sisters who I recorded are really mad at me and are giving me the stink eye. One of them (8F) even told me she had no brother to my face. She has a bit of a flair for the dramatic and has said that before during our squabbles, but this time she claimed to "mean it".

YTA: Yeah, they have a right to be angry with you. Then again, the one who owned the camera should've known better to trust a delinquent.

AITA for killing my boss on the first day?

I (23M) have had a job with an anti-terrorist organization. It was my first day on the job, but I discovered my boss (60M) had been co-conspiracting with an agent of FEMA (40M). My brother (34M) warned this about me before a paramilitary force raided his apartment. I confronted my boss about this and he pulled out a gun while my back was turned. I shot him in self-defence. I've also killed another co-worker (30F), whom was an assassin.

I (30M) got a job as a UPS worker but I got fired on my first day for somebody else stealing some boxes I had. On this day it's a friday and the rent is due. Then I find out my dumbass friend (32M) owes a drug dealer (44M) some money! He gave us until nightfall to give the money to him but his dumbass didn't have any money and him and his clique almost shot us to death by then.

My (16M) friend (18M) is a college student who worked as a lab assistant. I found out that the alien life form that was going to be studied on his lab was dangerous so I killed it. The lab lost their research grant and, as a result, he lost his job and had to quit college because he could no longer afford it. He claims that I ruined his life but I was just trying to protect him and everyone else involved. Am I the asshole?

Am I the asshole for wanting to save my girlfriend from an accident even though she’ll become a terrible person?

I (36M) have met this woman (F33) and have gotten into a stable relationship. But I’ve discovered from a “fortune teller” that she’ll end becoming an evil monster down the line, and that she will die tonight. But I love this woman so much I can’t let it happen.

AITA for keeping my illness a secret from everyone?

I'm the crown prince of my kingdom (21M), and I have dealt with an illness during my childhood. It has since been in remission due to training, but I fear it may come back. I begged my sister (17F) to keep it a secret from everyone when it flared back.

INFO: It ultimately depends on what kind of illness we're talking about. Is it like the flu, or is it some really bad virus?

AITA for stalking a dude for five years?

Okay, so it all started when this guy (~30/40M) said that I (35M) was just some loser with no friends. He said it to my face, too. I didn't even know the guy until that point. He just walked up and insulted me to my face.
At first I just thought he was being asshole, but after thinking about it, I realized that I didn't have that many friends. So I tracked down that guy, got his best friend out of the picture, and told him that I was his new best friend. Then I got arrested for stalking and a few other things (don't ask), so I had to be away from him for a while.
One year later, I finally had the chance to meet up with him again. He came home one night and saw me dancing with his wife. He seemed pretty pissed off, so I tried to break the ice with him by showing him a slideshow of what I've been doing while he was gone.
Yet another year later, this guy tried cutting off all contact with the outside world for some reason. I met up with him in his cabin, and — get this — he pointed a gun at me. Luckily I prepared for this by filling the gun with water, so when he tried to kill me, I survived.
Much later after that, he ended up going to a place for some mental help. I made up a fake identity so I can meet up with him again. He made friends with me, but he doesn't know that it's actually me he's made friends with.

AITA for collapsing a tower?

Okay. So I was in debt this one time, and my restaurant wasn't helping. And get this, SOMEONE THREATENED TO DESTROY MY RESTAURANT. MY ONLY SOURCE OF INCOME! He planned to do it with this giant laser, so I got over to his tower and blew it up! Thing is, there wasn't a laser, but there was some annoying prick who lied about the laser to make me miserable and LAUGH about it! So I gave him a good beating. Did I mess up?

NTA: Destroying the tower seems really extreme, but if they were threatening your life, they must’ve had it coming. I just hope that this doesn’t have long-term consequences and you got other people to help you out.

AITA for pretending to be run over to get with my crush?

I (15M) am in love with my beloved teacher (30F), who unfortunately is having an affair with my best friend (48M). To get back in her good graces, I faked being hit with a car while riding my bicycle and asked her for help. However, she discovered the ruse and let me go. This has not gone my way at all.

ESH: Pretending to be run over is a terrible thing to do, but this teacher is an adulterer.

My (30F) husband (ogre, 30M) and I were going to have dinner with my parents (60F and 63M), and it was the first time they ever met him in person.

He was very nervous prior to the dinner that the parents, and anyone else nearby, would chase after him with Torches and Pitchforks for being an ogre, and thankfully none of that happened, but the parents, especially my father, seemed a little awkward about him being an ogre, especially since him being my true love caused me to become an ogre too (long story).

During the dinner, my father glared at my husband for being kind of rough-around-the-edges (like not knowing which fork to use and saying, "Better out than in" when I burped). Then, things escalated when my mother suggested we have kids.

My father implied that the idea of us having kids put him off his food, so my husband got angry and it started a heated argument. The two men kept away each other's food, ate aggressively to vent their anger, and all the while my father continued to complain about having ogres as grandchildren while my husband snarked back at him for locking me in a tower as a kid (long story again).

Eventually, I stormed out of the room and later yelled at my husband for his rude behaviour, eventually yelling, "You acted like an OGRE!". He yelled back that he was an ogre and roared at me, and he's been sulking ever since. AITA?

YTA (bordering on ESH). Sure, your husband could've worked on his table manners (especially since he was a guest). But making it a race issue was very uncalled for. Especially given the stuff your dad was saying to him just moments earlier.

AITA for backstabbing my girlfriend to save her life?

I (20M) am in love with this girl (18F). I like her, and (up till this incident) she seemingly liked me back. It looked like we had a thing going.
But then she got possessed by her mother (~3000F), who also happens to be an evil cyborg/goddess/demon lady who wants to take over the world. Worst of all, it happened because my girlfriend was visiting my place (my dad [50M] had a machine that my GF's mom gave him decades ago). But my girlfriend is still Fighting from the Inside and can take back control of her body sometimes.
Feeling somewhat responsible for all this, I tried coming up with a plan to save my girlfriend. But in doing so, I had to figure out how her mom's machine worked, and in order to do that, I had to gain her mom's trust. So I pretended to play along with her mom's plans for enslaving humanity, fixed machines that she'd use to take over Europe, and pretended to betray my GF. Then my GF saw what I was doing. I tried telling her that it's all part of my plan to save her, but she still doesn't trust me and thinks I have ulterior motives. I could tell her that I'm not really helping her mom, but I don't have any way to prove it. I feel like my chances with her are ruined, even though I'm trying to save her life.

YTA, we can read between the lines and see that you were siding with her mother and are trying to cover it up.

Am I The Devil for having male voices overheard on stream?

I am a mischievous demon sowing chaos and I hope in time to become a true devil, the embodiment of evil and depravity. However I find it difficult to prank my colleagues at times, partly because I don't want to hurt them, partly because I'm too busy helping about their houses, and partly because a certain rabbit princess keeps trapping and blowing them up before I can get to them.

So yesterday, I decided to go all out and plumb the depths all the way down to the abyss of yabai by letting my viewers overhear male voices while I was on screen. I apologised profusely for it afterwards. Does this make me a true devil, fearsome and ruthless?

At least it was far more chaotic than my orderly. straight-laced colleague who calls herself "the embodiment of chaos".

I [M35 by the time I died 3 million years ago] am highest highest ranking technician on board of Jupiter Mining Company Red Dwarf currently lost 3 million years far in space. I died during a radiation leak but I was brought back as a hologram to "keep my roommate's [M25, unfortunately still alive] sanity." Sometimes I'm afraid that such purpose has taken toll on MY sanity. Other "forms of life" on board are: Feline human which evolved from my roommate's cat, an android too ugly to be in "Spitting Image" and board computer that is supposed to possess an 6000 IQ but through the years it went senile.

At one occasion we found so called Matter Transporter and as a test we (me and an android) were sent on a closest planet with breathable atmosphere. After short scouting we found out that the planet is in a state of war between two groups of waxdroid who went insane during the years of loneliness. On one side the most despicable yet cunning figures of history (Third Reich, Richard III, Napoleon, Mussolini...) and other villainous men and women. And on other? Pitiful resistance group consisting of about 20 Scientists, pacifist and celebrities. All worthy died long time ago and probably turned into forces of evil. And in that moment I saw my role. I saw myself winning this war. And so I put an effort into turning the army of goits into a proper army capable of winning the war. After few weeks sergeant Presley brought my roommate and Feline. Roommate, being a pacifist lig he is, opposed my intentions and so I had to look him up. Then came the day of the battle. The plan was easy. The Company A served as a distraction while Android sneaks behind the Enemy's lines to the boiler room where he put the thermostat on 100 degrees.

By the end of the day the entire army of darkness has melted down. Unfortunately all of my army died during the assault.

Maybe you dare to call me responsible for their deaths. But let me remind you that if I didn't appear, all of the "Good guys" would be dead or turned to evil by the end of the week.

ESH — It was a war; it's hard to pick a side, but all of you seemed to have had some part of it.

Yesterday, my (21F) sister (18F) walked up to me with this man (he looked roughly the same age as her) and introduced him to me. Not as her friend, or even boyfriend, but as her fiance. In fact, she even asked me to marry them (since I'm the Queen; in fact it was during my coronation).

He was a guest for the coronation, and he lives abroad; there's no way that my sister could have met him before yesterday. So I told her no, on the grounds that she shouldn't be marrying a man she just met that day. I was just looking out for her safety — marriages to strangers often end unhappily, and besides, we're both royals, so we need to look out for assassins.

However, I do feel kind of bad: the whole reason she was so desperate for romance was because we've both had a very lonely childhood, and she sort of saw the coronation party as her only chance to meet new people. Not to mention that she got really mad at me when I said no, and then I got mad as well.

AITA?

AITA for threatning a girl with expultion if she didn't play a certain sport? I (F17) recently learned that my school would be shut down if the school didn't do well in an upcoming tournament and we didn't have any experienced players in said sport excepy one but she was heavily traumatized because of an incident involving the sport however she was the sister to the #1 player in the country in her age bracket. So I tricked her into beliving that by "not being able to return next year" I was implying expulsion for not choosing the sport as an elective instead of implying the truth of the school not existing next year if we lose the tournament, to coerce her onto the team. AITA?

AITAH for Betraying some Angel?

I (17 GF, Genderfluid) Have gotten the request from a Dominion (A type of angels) In Da'at (Basically a Post-apocalyptic Tokyo) to defeat some Lilims, Via the Help of my (20M) Partner, i was able to locate them, Only... they were saying to me that the Dominions were putting her under pressure, so me. being the Good ol "Listen to both sides!", decided to accept it, and betray The said Dominion.
