Web Serial Novel

aka: Web Novel

Also known as "webfiction" or the "online novel", web serial novels are the prose equivalent of Webcomics which happen to have distinct Story Arcs. An author, usually an amateur, publishes a novel in many short installments (often daily or weekly) on a website.

Quite often, the work in question is some sort of Fanfic, but also included in this category are completely original works. Most long-form fanfic is posted on places like FanFiction.Net in installments, and thus would qualify as this trope.

Web serials are the Spiritual Successors to the Serial Novels which Charles Dickens (and many other authors of that time) originally published in serial form in newspapers and in Dime Novel form.

In the years leading up to The New '10s, Japanese-language "web novels" began to attract attention from publishers. Recuts of these stories now make up a significant chunk of the Light Novel market, and in turn a number of these have gone on to become mainstream hits with anime and manga adaptations. Shousetsuka ni Narou ("Let's Become a Novelist") is one of the most popular hubs for this in Japan, with over a hundred of the works on the site having been adopted for publication.

• Addergoole is a contemporary fantasy with erotic, Dark Fantasy and Fractured Fairy Tale elements taking place in a Boarding School.
• The Adventures of Fox Tayle is about a regular fox made to be a soldier, but then the government project is cancelled. Fox escapes being killed and is hunted by the FBI for the majority of the story. First published on deviantART.
• The Adventures of Pat O'Neil is a self-narrative of the life of Pat O'Neil, a "regular guy from Iowa" that somehow ended up battling the forces of Clan Platypus, a organization of ninjas trying to take over the universe by selling meth.
• Adventures in the Pirate Continent a girl gets lost in the pulp adventurer filled world full of Vikings, Nazis, and Sea Monsters.
• Aethernea is a fantasy series set in an original world created by Cloe D. Frost, where everyone can use magic. The story follows the adventures of Kiel Rroda and Elaru Wayvin who attempt to enroll into the most prestigious university of magic, become the most powerful mages and uncover secrets of their world.
• A Few Good Gumshoes is a 2024 Cozy Mystery series about a goth girl dressmaker who finds herself part of a chauffeur's youth detective service and the mysteries that follow from there.
• Aivoton Aikamatka
• Almost Nowhere is Cosmic Horror and hard science fiction web serial by nostalgebraist about humanity's First Contact with a species of Starfish Aliens.
• Alternaversity: an official Sequel in Another Medium to My Life as a Teenage Robot, written by Rob Renzetti himself, though its story is much more low-key than that would suggest, akin to a Bonus Episode.

• anachronauts is a web novel series in which multiple realities converge onto a single planet, and all the consequences that ensue because of it. Thus, its tagline: "a web novel series of broomsticks, semiautomatics, and jetpacks."
• Anathema is an ongoing serialized novel that explores the stories of three superpowered characters with diverse backgrounds and motivations in an alternate universe very similar to our own. Their plotlines impact one another and eventually begin to converge. The story features tropes such as Anti-Villain, Crapsack World and Nice Job Breaking It, Hero. Tagline: Those comic books were lying about superpowers.
• Anesthesia is a sci-fi adventure about a crazy boy, who is the heir to an incredibly wealthy company, and his twin sister.
• The Angaran Chronicles short stories fit into this genre which are based in a Diesel Punk setting about the Hunters, magically enhanced super spies and assassins as they wage a Secret War against the oppressive theocracy which dominates the continent of Angara. Mostly following the elf Hunter Anargrin and his elite team in their morally ambiguous black ops missions.
• Angel of Death is an Urban Fantasy Web Serial about a lich named Cody Giles coping with the guilt imposed by his need to devour human souls while trying to use his dark powers for good.
• Angry Remembrance [1] is a Coming of Age story with an Urban Fantasy bent. Brian Cargill learns that the father he thought walked out on his family actually died a hero—fighting an ancient battle between two warring factions of shapeshifters who call upon the powers of legendary heroes and their nemeses.
• Anima's Conquest is a web serial novel that updates at least once weekly. It is about a School for Scheming in a semi-post-apocalyptic setting.
• The Antithesis revolves around the conflicts of a uniquely-perceived Heaven and Hell, narrated by the main character, Alezair Czynri, who is a member of the "Jury", a sect of non-Celestials who live in Purgatory and enforce "The Code".
• Antlers, Colorado is a horror/supernatural serial about a young medium who runs away from home and ends up solving mysteries with the sheriff's department in a weird small town.
• The Apothecary Diaries

• Arcana Magi is a young adult fantasy universe written by H-M Brown. It features a web serial novel of the main series about a teenage girl, who received a mystical item from one of The Four Gods, and was captured and brainwashed by an Evil Company to serve their needs. He also wrote Arcana Magi Zero, an Alternate Universe Short Story Trilogy about the beginnings of two teenage girls, who received their magical items from The Four Gods, and try to understand their place in the world.
• Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest
• Arrow and Ace is a Slice of Life type story where everyone in the world has superpowers. It follows multiple characters and their struggles with both accepting their powers and more typical teenage concerns.
• Ars Harmonia [2] is a collection of short stories told in Light Novel format, set in the same universe as Vacant Sky. It's an Urban Fantasy tale about a nameless demon hunter who fights to keep various supernatural entities from encroaching upon the unsuspecting society at large, and what happens when she fails.
• Ascendance of a Bookworm: Follows a Bookworm who died and was Reincarnate in Another World. However, she was born with a weak body, the world is medieval, and her family poor, so she starts trying to make her own books with the help of her friend. Started publishing as a web novel in 2013 on Shousetsuka ni Narou and was later released as a light novel series by TO Books.
• Ash & Cinders is an episodic fantasy story written by Connor M. Perry. It is a Fetch Quest and self-described Epic Fairy Tale where the two siblings and their mentor on a race to retrieve their half brother after he is stolen by a Wizard.
• Associated Space is an often-hilarious science fiction story written by a friend of a troper.
• ATL Stories From The Retrofuture is a sci-fi Post Cyber Punk story about a twentysomething slacker with technologically-enhanced superpowers who has to protect the city from Atlanta from whatever threat emerges this week. It's mainly a comedy, but has some elements of Detective Drama, with a bit of Slice of Life mixed in.

• Babe Ruth: Man-Tank Gladiator is the half-remembered story of Babe Ruth, the world's greatest man-tank gladiator, as told by a priest in the year 4025.
• Bad Influences is a blogged disaster fiction about a global flu pandemic.
• BANG! Series (taken down) is about a Robot Cat of Mass Destruction who joins a La Résistance to overthrow the Corrupt Corporate Executive who has taken over and destroyed the world.
• Banished from the Hero's Party
• Barkwire is a series of articles that imitate a social network for the obsessive fans of a small town's canine population.
• Battle is an Art is a serial about a dragon-girl trying to please her Maker, who she hates, so as to not get her universe destroyed.
• Battle Kreaturez - Comeback is an adaptation/Continuity Reboot of the early chapters of the webcomic Battle Kreaturez.
• Beast Tamer: The Beastmaster is kicked out of the hero party in a Standard Japanese Fantasy Setting and sets out on his own, acquiring a Battle Harem of animal-eared girls.
• Becoming a better writer is a group of books written by an amateur New Zealand author and serialized on his website. So far involves Demon Hunting and Werewolf Law.
• Behind Closed Doors is a Spiritual Adaptation of Your Turn to Die and a Spin-Off of SWAP Ensemble that takes place 15 years after.
• Berserk of Gluttony
• Beware of Chicken is a light-hearted, comedic Deconstruction of Wuxia and Xianxia novels, Isekai Power Fantasies, and Slow Life Fantasies. What if someone transported into a fantastic world with incredible powers decided they'd rather not get involved, and instead tried to find the most remote, isolated place possible to start a farm? And what if the farm animals start treating things as seriously as the normal protagonists of this kind of story?
• Beyond Logic
• Though the results aren't nearly long enough to be considered "novels", BIONICLE includes web serials as part of their canon. They supplement the books and comics in that they can focus on and flesh out side characters—including the villains—or continue to tell adventures of those whose toys are no longer on the market. The final novel of the series was only available to read on-line (in English, at least... some European countries printed it into an actual book), so there's that for a novel-length serial.
• Birthright (2017) follows a princess who has been cursed and impersonated, as she tries to find a way to break the curse and warn her family what has happened, all while avoiding the watchful eye of her captor.
• Blackheart
• blacklight is a modern fantasy web-serial about making the best of a really, really, really bad situation.
• Blacktop is a horror/thriller web serial that follows one Gael Gonzalez, a man that can spout vines from his palms who works for an agency tasked with hunting down rogue daemons. Despite being a veteran of this agency and loved by the people, Gael's bored with his life and wants something interesting to happen. And he just may get that wish when, one day, daemon readings in the city end up spiking higher than they ever have in years...

• Blank Rune follows the story of Tana, a girl who lost her magic after the defeat of her masters.
• Blank Mastermind concerns an amnesiac villain who has to convince his henchmen that he hasn't lost his memories, stop his own evil plans and save his archenemy.
• Blasphemous and Unintentionally Racist Things Keaton and Wyatt Say
• The Book of the Gear is the most complete part of the Gearworld setting from Ursula Vernon. Now abandoned and unlikely to continue, it never had much real plot to begin with and was more of an exploration of a compellingly strange world.
• Book of the Dead (2021): Tyron turns seventeen and touches the Awakening Stone to receive his main Class — and is given the highly illegal Necromancer class. Rather than have it burnt out of his soul, though, he decides to become so powerful that society has to accept him. The five gods have other ideas.
• Border, KS is a modern fantasy story about a fictional town in southern Kansas which is both on the border with Oklahoma, and the Border between supernatural realms. It updates Tuesday and Thursday at Border, KS.
• Borrasca
• The Brave New World Universe is a superhero story about people who are randomly Chosen to gain superpowers, which also changes their sex. It is hosted on tgstorytime.com.
• Brennus is a story that's (mostly) about a teenager with Super-Intelligence trying to become a superhero.
• Building Tales is a set of serialized short stories, novellas and, apparently, will contain novels in the future, written by the artist of The Life of Nob T. Mouse and All Over The House.

• Caelum Lex, is a sci-fi web serial about a woman who boards a space pirate vessel called the Dionysian and the ramshackle crew that mans it.
• Canticle, a web novel series about a demon assassin who is banished to futuristic Earth after refusing to kill an innocent girl. Due to this, he's now hunted by his former comrades while he searches to uncover a sinister plot.
• Can You Spare a Quarter?, a web novel about a 12-year old boy who has run away from Abusive Parents and eventually meets a kind man who takes him in.
• Cardboard Chronicles, a collaborative chat-based narrative that spawned out of a number of running gags on the Spinnerette comment board in October of 2012. It has since spread to DeviantArt, where it has its own group page.
• Card Force Infection is a Yu-Gi-Oh! inspired story about a trading card game powered by magic, cursed cards, and a plot to summon the devil.
• Card Rood Rebirth, about a university professor who ends up in a Deadly Game.
• The Case Files of Ibrahim Helsing is an ongoing serial about the black sheep of the van Helsing family, Ibrahim Helsing, and his adventures in defending the innocent, whether they be humans or monsters.
• Cave King
• The Champions (2011) is a superhero serial about a team of superheroes in both their public and private lives. is a web serial novel about a group of superheroes. The story follows these heroes as they struggle to defeat villains and their personal problems. The story is being published on a web site called Fiction Press one chapter at a time. A chapter is added to the story every Saturday. It has over 100 chapters.
• Chaos Fighters, a serial novel series with extreme amounts of fighting scenes.
• Chaos Timeline, an Alternate History 'verse beginning with the premature death of Genghis Khan and exploring the Point of Divergence down the centuries that results from it.
• Chatoyant College is an Urban Fantasy series about a group of friends of are studying at the only university in America that teaches magic.
• Chillin' in Another World with Level 2 Cheat Powers
• Chillin' in My 30s After Getting Fired from the Demon King's Army
• The Chronicles of Steve Stollberg is a satirical web serial novel about 3 young boys (Steve, James, and Harrison) who hang out together at Northville Middle School.
• The Chronicles of Taras is a regularly updated Horror/Science-Fiction Diesel Punk Web Serial by N. Somniack involving a teenage girl sent to an alleged Summer Camp called 'Camp Moric' that has some shady staff and hardened "Campers". Though, unfortunately, the worst of it is probably The Rake and the other horrible entities lurking about Camp Moric.
• Chrono Crown is the true (but sadly displaced) Prequel of In Another World with My Smartphone as it takes place before Chapter 276 (or Volume 10), where Reverse World/Western Continent is firstly introduced.
• Chrysalis:
  • Chrysalis (Beaver Fur) follows a consciousness known as the Terran who seeks to avenge the scouring of the Earth at the hands of an alien empire.
  • Chrysalis (RinoZ): LitRPG following a teenager who is reincarnated in another world as an ant monster.
• Chum is a superhero story about a 14-year old girl named Samantha Small who gets shark powers after a near-death experience and becomes a hero-in-training in an alternate 2023 Philadelphia.
• Cirno & Purple Steve is the story of Cirno Excalibur, who found a pole in his back yard, got struck by weird lightning, and went with his new talking pole to go fight the demons. It's an experimental adventure story published weekly.
• Citadel follows a class of trainees through a brutally pragmatic Superhero School.
• City of Angles is a serial about a perpetually changing urban world of Alien Geometries and the people who end up trapped there, trying to eke out a living amidst the weirdness. The ongoing mystery about the origin of the City and its true nature forms the backbone of the series.
• City on the Edge of Nowhere, a multi-part multimedia recap of the alien monster invasion depicted in the author's novel, Eden Green.
• Claw (2024): A crime procedural by Wildbow.
• The Clockwork Raven [3] is a Miyazaki-inspired Clock Punk saga about two teens, Action Girl Karla and Badass Bookworm Kio, who fight to survive on the floating castle where they've been trapped alone for ten years. Magical twists abound as their world gradually becomes more expansive and terrifying.
• Codex Nekromantia [4]: Life, love, necromancy, the fragile human condition when caught between the jaws of a very robust human condition, and wholesale zombie slaughter.
• The Cockroach Metamorphosis is the transformation of people from having just suffered into becoming genuinely happy with themselves again, but not before they've had to deal with Lovecraftian monsters and worlds that cannot make sense.
• Cocofolk And The Mushroom Hourglass is a 2025 folklore-based series focusing on a wilderness girl's adventures through a wondrous wonderland to find the titular mushroom hourglass to please the desires of a mysterious shadow man to stop corrupting the sleep of her hometown's residents.
• Coiling Dragon follows Linley Baruch as he goes to the Ernst Institute to master magic, and then moves on reclaim his clan's legacy, find revenge for his parents, and seek a place among the gods. This 800+ chapter story is described as a mix of wuxia and Daoist fantasy.
• Cold Obsidian is a story of a young man who becomes an apprentice of the creators of his world.
• Color Shock is a tale of two cities. One is an unmappable, black and white maze called the city of all cities where street addresses are replaced with dates that mysteriously stop right before the millennium and musicians play the only color in the world into existence. The other is a high-tech metropolis where three teenage gangs (the Reds, the Blues, and the Greens) fight with colored solid light they can throw from their fingertips. In both cities, a mysterious force seeks to blot out all the color in the world forever.
• The Comfortable Courtesan by L A Hall is a novel, originally published as a Dreamwidth blog, about a Regency High-Class Call Girl and her circle.
• The Conqueror from a Dying Kingdom follows the story of a Japanese man dying and reincarnating into an alternative European Nordic area. His people are basically elves, but they have been under attack for centuries by Crusaders who will stop at nothing to wipe them from existence. Follow his story as he strives to at first run away from his problems, then take them on head on.
• Conquerors Of Providence: Post-apocalyptic Science Fantasy series following the lives of the reincarnations of four powerful men (and their weird significant others) who destroyed the world three hundred years ago and their oftentimes hilarious exchanges as they apparently plan on fixing things.
• The Cool Kids Chronicles is an ongoing Coming of Age Story about a group of superpowered kids and their friends that slowly gets darker as the narrative becomes more unified.
• Correspondence From the Goddess is an ongoing Epistolary Novel from Lydia Devin, a normal woman who was mysteriously raised to the level of divinity, and her sister Elana. Through a series of flashbacks, Lydia tries to understand the events that lead to her destroying the universe and putting it back together.
• The Countryship Yoors [5] follows the adventures of an oddly Genre Savvy protagonist who, without explanation, ended up in space, aboard a ship the size of a country.
• The Court Of Tales is a fantasy story about the last human on the Land of Faerie and what goes on in the courts of these lands.
• The Crusaders is a serial following the adventures of Kon Dui, a young, wealthy, alien immigrant struggling to fulfill his life-long aspirations to superheroism instilled in him by the first Age of Superheroes, and the team of inexperienced psychological train-wrecks he was assigned to lead.
• The Crush, a discontinued serial set in an Alternate History with Elemental Powers. It centers around two friends on a Redemption Quest to make things right after a devastating defeat.
• Cryptocracy Novel is a scifi drama/comedy serial by Dan Sabato which follows the exploits of a group of former space marines who defect to a band of pirates and unravel a government conspiracy
• Curse Words is a magical boarding school fantasy about teenagers uncovering political conspiracies, mucking about with magic, and generally making poor decisions.
• Curveball is Super Hero fiction about a mysterious conspiracy surrounding the murder of Liberty, America's Greatest Hero.
• Cupid Able is a romantic comedy about an Otaku who has a hopeless crush on his neighbor until Cupid is delivered to his house one morning.

• The Daily Grind is the story of a tech-support guy and his infinite office-space dungeon. At least at first.
• The Daily Life of the Immortal King.
• Damn Reincarnation, the story of Eugene Lionehart, the reincarnation of the hero Hamel Dynas who suddenly finds himself as the descendant of his friend and The Hero, Vermouth. He uses his second life to figure out what happened to his friends in the centuries after his death and figure out why they chose to make peace with the demons instead of killing them as they'd planned.
• Dandere General And His Lord is the story of Cheng Qianye, a modern woman who transmigrates into the body of a noblewoman who commited suicide. Learning that the woman’s twin brother was the ruler of a city poisoned by a rival claimant and the besieging army of said claimant is about to take the city, Cheng Qiayne passes herself off as the brother and defeats the invaders, then rides off to one of the never-ending wars she is summoned to. After meeting Mo Qiao Sheng, a slave on the verge of death, she saves him and sets about abolishing slavery and unifying the country.
• Dantes Infanzia is the story of Dante Willis who, after dying on his 18th birthday, winds up in Limbo where he will be treated like a baby for all of eternity.
• DarkWatch [6] follows a team of agents who protect the world from supernatural threats. Relatively new, but updated frequently.
• Dear Nemesis: A Peggy Sue story of an arguably successful villainess suddenly finding herself flung 20 years into the past and betrothed to her original political enemy. After realizing how much she was actually manipulated in her first life, and still unwilling to give up on her political ambitions, she formulates a plan how to succeed on her own using what tools she has at her disposal.
• The Death Mage Who Doesn't Want a Fourth Time: Follows a reincarnator, who after being killed as a teenager in a terrorist attack on Earth and then spending his second life as an illegal human test subject in a Magitek world, is out to do everything in his power to not lose his latest life as an orphan half-vampire death mage in a High Fantasy world and have to find out just how much worse a fourth reincarnation could get.
• Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody follows a 30 something programmer who finds himself trapped in a fantasy world after some particularly bad crunch time / "death marching" to finish a mobile game, and decides to go on a sight-seeing tour vacation.
• Decembersville tells the tale of a young girl who is sucked into a world of freaks, murder, and mystery.
• ‘’Deeper Up the Tower’’ is a queer fantasy serial about a mysterious knight named Florian who enters the titular Tower and finds a world of strange magic and disco dreams. Each floor of the Tower is a new adventure for Florian where they may make a new friend or meet their end.
• Defection is the story about Alecia, and Jessica. One knows too much, the other is caught in middle of a web of lies. Everything is progressing towards a collision of tectonic proportions and there is going to be collateral.
• Delve, a Iseka Adventure novel that follows Rain Stroudwater as he navigates a RPG Mechanics 'Verse full of dangers and mystery.
• Demon Lord, Retry!
• The Descendants is a Super Hero story formatted in such a way that it's a comic book without pictures.
• Desolate Era is the wuxia story of Ji Ning, an Earth teenager that is killed and reincarnated on a world of immortal wielding fantastic supernatural abilities. The story follows him as he develops his powers to first protect his family and then to avenge them.
• Deucalion Chronicles is a Fantasy Kitchen Sink Space Opera, with time travelers, mages, androids, werewolves and more all rubbing elbows and often as not beating the crap out of one another.
• Deviant is a story about the rise of superhumans with the destruction of Seattle. A teenager gets involved in a world of violent vigilantes and seedy gangs, struggling to hold onto their morality in a world that seems to be lacking it.
• Devil Venerable Also Wants To Know is a Chinese cultivation fantasy novel with a meta plot about its Noble Demon protagonist obtaining a book that reveals to him that he's a doomed love interest in a trashy romance focused on two other characters' masochistic relationship. The novel follows his efforts to change the book's plot into something more favorable for him and the comedic and dramatic actions of the quirky ensemble cast helping to throw the plot even further off track from the book's.
• Diaclone VS. Gridman, a four-chapter crossover between Denkō Chōjin Gridman and Diaclone toy series, as well as the prequel to SSSS.GRIDMAN.
• Digimon Seekers
• Dimension Heroes, a web novel series skewed towards a younger demographic featuring five teens who discover futuristic battle suits and are subsequently thrust into an adventure in which they must save their world from colliding with a parallel dimension.
• Ding Hai Fu Sheng Lu
• The Dionaea House, which was told in segments appearing on different websites, every October for three years.
• Dis Acedia A Dark Fantasy where the main cast is trapped in Dis, a hellish prison dimension ruled by the Mad God Lazarus and filled with the most horrible monsters in all of fantasy with Dis' actual denizens being worse.
• Disciple of the Holy Sword is a Korean fantasy novel about a would-be swordmaster named Leon who struggles to keep up with his noble and genius peers despite his tireless efforts to improve himself. His fortunes change when the holy sword Elsyd descends from the sky and chooses him as his wielder, giving him a teacher who will shape him into someone worthy of being called the Warrior.
• The Distinguished Cute Master is a Chinese transmigration and cultivation novel where the supposed villain is brought back to when she was a child and decides that this time around she's going to raise the protagonist to find treasure for her so she won't end up fighting him for it in the future. A bigger mystery surrounding why she was sent back and if she was the only one gradually emerges.
• The Distortion Detective is a mystery novel set in the world of Library of Ruina, showcasing the life of Moses, a detective able to see the "Distortion" phenomenon that turns people into monsters.
• Division by Zero is a Science Fantasy Cosmic Horror Story. In a multiverse abandoned by God, its denizens are condemned to be free. Cast into an unsympathetic existence, two planets wage war that spans eons and spares none, sweeping Kohana Outtaike, a 15-year-old girl from Earth, into its chaos. Guided by Hiroyuki D’Accardi, her Spectrian Advisor, she becomes a general in a conflict upon which the fate of the multiverse hinges. • The Dogs is an erotic deconstruction of the common stereotypes found in the transformation genre common in the Furry fandom, but meant to be read as Lit Fic.

• Sacreya's Legacy is a completed web serial about a zombie private detective whose case forces him to return to the doomed city he came from.

• The Saga of Tuck has been running since 1997, and currently comprises 142 chapters and a bit more than a year of in-story time, not to mention an Alternate Universe side story.
• Saga of Soul tells the story of Eriko, an intellectual Magical Girl who tries to protect Earth from various threats waging a war over multiple universes. It is a Reconstruction of the Magical Girl genre, and the rules of magic are consistent and well understood.

• The Slave Breakers is a long-running series of erotica novels and stories about a dysfunctional family that trains and sells slaves in a world where slavery is an acceptable means to control poverty. Despite the premise, it's very fluffy for its genre. Can be found here.
• Small Problem is a blog written by a woman six-and-a-half inches tall.
• Small Worlds: His entire life, Ryan was followed by a man in a suit - until one day, that man left him. Now he has a nanoverse, divine friends, and needs to find a nice way to end the world.
• Soft Touch is a web novel about a young man who finds himself falling for his reformed high school nemesis while dealing with a ghost, among other small town problems.
• So I'm a Spider, So What? began as a web novel by Baba Okina before being adapted into a Light Novel, manga, and anime.
• Solo Leveling is a web novel about a man who, amongst superhumans, is the only one who can continuously learn new abilities and get stronger.
• The Solstice War is a web serial about an alternate fantasy world having its own World War II, with equipment and tactics paralleled. Viewed primarily through the eyes of a Hindu-African mélange Soviet Union. Makes for a challenging read, but very worthwhile and pretty unique. You can find it here.

• The Sorcerer King of Destruction and the Golem of the Barbarian Queen, a web novel featuring Amnesiac Hero who is prophesied to bring The End of the World as We Know It.
• Space Pirate Captain MacTaggart is a humorous space opera tale.
• SPARK Of Tyranny is a Space Opera featuring an Anti-Hero Captain and his Ragtag Bunch of Misfits struggling against the behind-the-scenes machinations of the Kilon Federation, which has created a Vichy Earth.
• Sparrow and Bright a serial adventure fantasy about a female barbarian and magical princess seeking glory and meaning.
• Spectral Shadows is a web serial started by Furry author Perri Rhoades. The story follows the adventures of Jon and Rael, two anthropomorphic deer that travel space and time and take on different forms, and their human friend Christine James. Contains Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and tons of characters.
• The SporeWiki Fiction Universe is a Shared Universe that grew out of fan fiction on the wikia for the video game Spore.
• Spots the Space Marine was originally a web serial by M.C.A. Hogarth in a screenplay format.
• Sprig is an ongoing fantasy adventure web serial about overcoming hatred. It follows a girl named Kaia, one of the last members of the Treek race.
• Squid Sisters Stories is a short web serial written to promote Splatoon 2, setting up the plot of the game while also explaining the events that occurred during the two year time skip between entries.
• Starsnatcher is a Sci-Fi web serial novel about a young man who got Trapped in Another World on an alien moon and now has to find his way back to Earth.
• Starting Today I Work As A City Lord: A Dimensional Traveler gets rich selling thinks for our work to a Chinese Fantasy one. Managed to buy the entire city.
• Starwalker is a web serial novel about an experimental AI ship and her adventures.
• Statless and Tactless is a serial story of a dysfunctional group of roleplayers slogging through a Steampunk campaign.
• Stay Gold is a High School Slice of Life novel, which follows a group of young kids and their adventure. Unfortunately, it was deleted of Wattpad.
• Steve Buhvillens Intriguing Group: A man goes on a journey through a weird fantasy world to save it from the evil rule of his older brother, teaming up with bizarre allies along the way.

• Team Omega is a superhero universe focusing, on one hand, on the eponymous Cape Busters and, on the other, on an independent superhero whose deposing of the Congo's warlords sets a dangerous new precedent.
• Tearmoon Empire focuses on a Villainous Princess who is reborn into her 12-year-old self with memories of her future, as she sets out to prevent the events that led to her execution. Started as a web novel in 2018 and later received light novel and manga adaptations.
• Tech Infantry, an earlier project involving the author of Associated Space, a collaborative series of stories by multiple authors set in a future world that combines elements of the Old World of Darkness and Starship Troopers.
• Ted's Caving Page was presented as a spelunker's series of journal entries revolving around a mysterious cave and a creature inside (the actual cave being "Freeway Cave", as the author originally discusses here and is reposted here. The original story is intentionally left unfinished, leaving the reader to draw his or her own conclusions. The story was later used for Thomas Lera's short story "The Fear of Darkness", a backdated hoax that attempts to explain all of the supernatural elements of Ted's story with an added chapter.
• Templeton Barliman is a semi-post-apocalyptic Coming of Age Story for the titular character.
• Tethralin: A web novel about a game that runs on RPG mechanics and a man on his last life.

• There Is No Antimemetics Division, about a clandestine organization that researches, contains, and protects humanity from dangerous antimemes: ideas and entities that are impossible to think about, record, or remember.
• There Is No Epic Loot Here, Only Puns is a non-conventional Dungeon Core story involving avoiding murder.
• There Must Be Happy Endings: A woman in a (seemingly) loveless marriage finally seeks divorce, but is having second thoughts when her husband is suddenly killed. Then she finds herself waking up three months before his death, with a chance to change their fates.
• There Was No Secret Evil Fighting Organization
• Theriomorph Chronicles: A dark science fiction story about an 11-year-old boy named Warren who is transmuted into a Bald Eagle Theriomorph against his will by Megiddo and must fight with the Blood Order in order to defeat Megiddo.
• These Days is a yuri story focusing on the relationship between two young girls, and the insane events that begin to happen around them.

• Tokyo Demons is a prose serial in Japanese light novel style focusing on superpowered youths getting deeply involved in an underground gang war. Serialized in Sparkler Monthly.
• Tomorrow Girl in Bismarck a superhero whose universe was destroyed and is now in the boring non-superhero world of Bismarck, North Dakota.
• Touch (2017) ("a survival story") is a superhero novel that emphasizes the Traumatic Superpower Awakening trope. The protagonist, James, gets Blow You Away powers, with the first being Flight, after being raped and soon befriends other young heroes.
• Trapped in a Cursed Game as an NPC
• Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs, a Science Fantasy action comedy series about a Jerk with a Heart of Gold Leon who dies from being overworked by his Spoiled Brat sister, only to be reborn in the world of an Otome Game that turns out to be a Crapsaccharine World. Leon befriends his Servile Snarker Robot Buddy Luxion and then female admirers while getting dragged into noble politics when he just wants an easygoing life. Received light novel and manga adaptations and is getting an anime in April 2022.
• Trash of the Count's Family, a Korean action, comedy, and fantasy series about a guy who is reincarnated into the world of a book series that he was in the middle of reading, and finds himself in the body of a minor antagonist in the first novel. Trying to manipulate events so he can live a lazy life away from the plot only changes that plot so much that he gets sucked into it, so he finally decides to help stop the Nebulous Evil Organization with his knowledge of the plot and the world building from the novels. He reluctantly attracts allies, gathers ancient powers, and tortures bad guys along the way.
• Travelers (BlueCoffeeJava), a LitRPG story.
• Trinton Chronicles, an Urban Fantasy series compiled from the message board RPG of the same name over 10+ years.
• Twig, a story by wildbow about a group of four tweens who hunt Mad Scientists and their creations for an Academy set in an alternate early 20th Century.
• Twisted Cogs is a story set during the Renaissance with a twist. The narrative follows a young woman named Elena as she moves away from home to become an artist. However, as it is wont, the world has more in store for her than just paintbrushes and canvas.
• The Wandering Inn is a fantasy story following a young woman who finds herself in a fantasy world where leveling up and classes exist. Instead of becoming a warrior or mage though, she becomes an innkeeper.

• The Ugly Empress, a Chinese web serial novel about a man who wakes up in a woman's body.
• An Unauthorized Fan Treatise, a murder mystery set in the fictional fandom of Loch & Ness.
• Under the Oak Tree, a Korean web novel. A young noblewoman who has been beaten and abused since childhood is married off to a commoner knight to get her off her father's hands. When he becomes a heroic dragon-slayer and lord of a land, he whisks her off to his castle, where she is shown kindness and concern for the first time in her life, and begins her slow journey to healing and self-confidence.
• Unhallowed [35], a surreal horror story about a college freshman who turns to her skeptical older sisters after making a deal with the devil to bring her boyfriend back from the dead. Set in a reimagined Massachusetts created by H. P. Lovecraft, this Genre-Busting tale blurs the line between witchcraft and madness.
• Unimaa, an eight-chapter story about the titular location, a Dream Land for children that's been turned into a Lotus-Eater Machine by an evil spirit with a benevolent appearance and a black orb around her neck.
• Unjust Depths is a sci-fi web serial novel about an underwater society hundreds of years after the surface became uninhabitable by humans, focusing on a mecha-based guerilla force trying to overthrow an Empire.
• Unlikely Eden is a weekly-updated web serial told from the alternating points of view of two 10-year-old girls. The story begins with the destruction of the girls' home, which forces them to escape into the surrounding area. They immediately run afoul of the residents of a small outpost and, through fortunate coincidence, encounter a crotchety old trucker and his teenage ward, who become their only friends besides each other. Throughout the course of the story, they gradually begin to learn the complicated sequence of events that led to the destruction of their home. From prophecies to roller skates to robot teddy bears, there's never a dull moment.
• Unruly Phoenix Xiaoyao, a Chinese web serial novel about a genetically-enhanced heroine from a far-future Zombie Apocalypse who is reincarnated in the 13th century as a girl, disguised as a boy, who has just become the Emperor of China.
• Unsong is a Kabbalah-inspired speculative-fiction story set in an alternate history where people are much the same and the rules of reality are most definitely not.
• The Unwanted Undead Adventurer

• Welcome to the A-Class: Tells about about the titular class which is considered the best class with talented students, but consisting of troubled teens. And they are guided by their teacher, Mr. Oliver Graviolens.
• The Way to Protect the Female Lead's Older Brother: A Darker and Edgier take on the popular "Reborn as Villainess" Story genre. A young woman from our world finds herself reincarnated as a member of a villainous family from the adult novel she read in her previous life. To avoid the terrible fate awaiting her, she decides to save the titular heroine's brother, all while doing everything to stay alive in her murderous family.
• Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!: Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf! (日本へようこそエルフさん, Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san) is a Fantasy/Slice of Life novel series by Makishima Suzuki, taking a twist to the typical Trapped in Another World formula by featuring a protagonist that can (mostly) freely cross the worlds, and put more focus on Slice of Life about having the fantasy inhabitant learning and enjoying life in Japan. The guy in question, however, is quite the Shrinking Violet and encounters difficulty with the responsibilities of his new unlife. The story is a mixture of dark fantasy, drama, and humor.
