This story contains examples of the following tropes:

  • Battle Harem: The protagonist's minions are all female. They are also very affectionate, especially Purifiers.
  • Foxy Vixen: Tama, The Purifier Alpha. She is a very flirty anthropomorphic fox.
  • Imperfect Ritual: The protagonist's presence is the product of the ritual, intended to summon the hero to save the conquered kingdom, as revealed through the first interlude. Hae Narim was advised against doing this, though it is not clear whether she failed to do the right, or was a case of Evil Is Not a Toy.
  • Language Barrier: The protagonist doesn't speak the local language and his power so far doesn't help.
  • LifeDrain Narita, the Defiler Alpha, and all Defilers, use drain lifeforce from surrounding living organism to heal the protagonist, and his minions.
  • The Master: Both System and the protagonist's minion refer to him as this. His real name is not revealed.
  • The Minion Master: The protagonist's power. Every skill and level of the protagonist is directly translated into having more minions with various abilities. While they are individually stronger than the untrained humans, trained humans can kill them, and superpowered humans can mow down dozens of them. The minions usually win by outnumbering the enemy, combined with their fanatical ferocity, and the fact they respawn after dying.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: While the protagonist isn't necessarily evil at all, his power certainly is. He is referred to as The Master, the character class in the vaguely game like system is “Root of All Evil”. Naming convention for the types of monsters, and corresponding skills isn't any better.
  • Our Werewolves Are Different: Miwah, the Eviscerator Alpha, and all Eviscerators for what matters, are often described as werewolves. They don't have powers associated with werewolves, instead they are ambushers with invisibility powers.
  • Translation by Volume: The protagonist doesn't yell, but he still tries to speak to locals in English despite knowing they don't understand it.
  • Trapped in Another World: The protagonist wakes up in the other world. He doesn't have an idea what happened, and actively looks for answers, and for the way back home.:
