Hello, My Name is Superjohn(not really my name). I have been reading TV tropes since at least 2009, but only made an account back in July 8th of 2015. I generally can be found in forum games mostly, and occasionally in Yack Fest.

  • Luke, I Am Your Father: While a character being secretly related to another character is something I think can be done well, I also feel they kind of make the world seem smaller, making it seem like the world revolves around who the protagonist is related to.
  • Butt-Monkey: While they can be funny, they often can suffer from being Unintentionally Sympathetic quite a lot.

  • Ambiguously Brown: I'm been confused for a Mexican more then once, probably due to being half Puerto Rican(and no, I don't know what specific type of Puerto Rican).

    • Bigotry of any kind
    • Computers freezing on me
    • Characters who aren't hated by their actions, but because they get in the way of their ship(double points if their ship had no way in hell of happening)
    • People who "raid" forums to attack people who had the audacity to like something they hate
    • Trying to spread the belief that Autism is a disease
    • Donald Trump, just that piece of shit
    • anyone trying to spread the Lost Cause myth about the civil war.
  • Black Comedy: what my sense of humor is half the time, I could go dark quick when I'm in the mood for it,Though I have my limits.
  • Brilliant, but Lazy: What my family and school thought of me. Personally I think I'm just above average.
  • Covert Pervert: I generally don't show my more perverted desires. Wait since I said that out loud, does that mean it isn't covert anymore?
  • Deadpan Snarker: more emphasis on the snark over the deadpan though.
  • Everybody Hates Mathematics: Lets just say me and math have a rocky relationship, mainly because I'm a dumbass.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Yes I have them
    • As mentioned above in Black Comedy, while I can have a morbid and dark sense of humor, but their are certain limits I have when it comes to this brand of comedy. big ones are rape jokes, racism based humor, ones involving tragedies that are still recent in memory, and ones that are so petty that I can that they lose their humor.
    • While I will generally try to respect peoples opinions on their media taste even if I don't understand their appeal, but I draw the line if the movie in question promotes an reprehensible agenda
    • While I'm scared of many large animals(especially sea ones) I don't like the idea of them going extinct.
  • Fan of the Past: Zig Zagged, As while I like a lot of modern media, I have fascination with older media, such as films and music from the 70s,80s, and90s. of course it goes without saying I don't think that they we better and that nothing worthwhile has been produced since my birth.
  • Just Here for Godzilla: I've only gotten into certain things just for one element/thing.
    • I often watch Death Battles if one of my favorite characters/ characters I recognize. Hell 9 times out ten I wouldn't even care if they loss, I'm just happy for them to get featured.

  • Self-Deprecation: I generally makes jokes at my own expense, partially due to low confidence, partially because sometimes it's funnier to make yourself the butt of the joke.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: I am generally scared of giant fish and sea animals, although I am also scared of large land animals.

  • Abusive Parents: several of my avatars either are abusive Parents or had abusive Parents.
    • Father from Fullmetal Alchemist sees his homunculus children as tools.
    • Medusa from Soul Eater used her child Corona as a lab rat for her experiments.
    • Handsome Jack has eridum injected into her daughter to power up her siren powers in order to charge up the vault key. He pumped so much into her that she would die if the flow is cut off,which the vault hunters do at her request to end her suffering and deny her father a siren.

  • Action Mom:The Bride(Kill Bill), Lisa Lisa (JJBA), Mera(DC Comics, some continuities),are moms you don't want to fuck with.

  • Action Dad Batman(DC comics), Joseph Joestar and Jotaro Kujo(JJBA), Aquaman(DC comics, some continuities), Omni Man(Invincibe), Luke Skywalker(Legends continuty), Magneto(Marvel comics), Capone Bege(One Piece), Wolverine(Marvel Comics), and Stolas(Helluva Boss) are dads you dont want to fuck with.

  • Anti-Hero: several of my avatars are not people you would consider traditionally heroic
    • Batman can be this Depending on the Writer.
    • Jean Paul Valley during his tenure as Batman, so much then even the more hardass Depending on the Writer versions seem like traditional heroes.
    • Helena Bertinelli Huntress is another one of batmans (on and off again)allies who's much more ruthless then him.
    • The Punisher is a classic Marvel example, leading a one man war on crime and doesn't concern himself with a no kill code, just ask the thousands of dead criminals his killed over the years.
    • Deadpool, to quote the man himself": I didn't ask to be super and I'm no hero, but when you find out your worst enemy is after your best girl, the time has come to be a fucking superhero."
    • Wolverine is another classic Marvel example, being probably the X-Men with the highest bodycount.
  • Ax-Crazy: quite a few of my avatars can be... rather bloodthirsty, such as Esdeath, Carnage, Freddy Krueger, Victor Zzazz, Adam Smasher, Doomsday, and more rhen a few others.
