Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

  • Conflicting Opinion: Swiper the Fox
  • Complicated Relationship with: The Men In Black, Conan the Barbarian, The Status Quo
  • Formerly a renowned teenage detective, Shinichi Kudo was nicknamed the 'Heisei Holmes' by the press for his uncanny ability to solve cases that the police couldn't crack without even blinking. He was in good with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department and all the girls wanted him! Life was good. However, a trip to the Tropical Land amusement park with his close friend Ran would cause his life to take a dramatic left turn.
  • After solving a murder that just happened to take place on a roller-coaster, Shinichi saw a mysterious man in black extorting money from a businessman. He was promptly knocked out from behind and force-fed a poison designed to leave no traces behind. Spoiler alert: it left traces behind. Instead, it shrunk him down into a six-year old boy. One quick visit to his neighbor Professor Agasa's house later, he realised that he had to keep his identity secret lest the the men in black and whoever they work for finish him and whoever he loves for good. At Agasa's suggestion, he took up residence with Ran in her father Kogoro's detective agency to look out for updates regarding the Organization, and the rest is history.
    • One would ask how Conan's sudden streak of solving crimes hasn't gained widespread media attention and the Organization's attention. Every time he finds the culprit to a murder or kidnapping case, he uses his wrist-watch tranquillizer needle gun to sedate Kogoro and a voice-altering bowtie to 'speak' as Kogoro reveals the culprit, their motive and how they carried out their plot. Hence, the legend of 'Sleeping Kogoro' was born, a magically intelligent persona of Kogoro that would manifest when he passed out from stress. Thanks to Conan, the formerly Clueless Detective is now a sensation. Whenever Kogoro isn't there, Conan just tranquillizes whoever is on the scene, like Ran's best friend Sonoko (aka Deduction Queen Sonoko).
  • He was ascended under very sketchy conditions. Professor Agasa received a letter informing Conan to report to the Janus Checkpoints the following noon for ascension. Believing it was some weird fanboy asking to meet Shinichi, Conan went with Heiji Hattori, who happened to be in Tokyo at the time as per the directions on the letter. They were admitted into the Pantheon rapidly under the trope Mystery Magnet with Heiji inadvertently being saddled as Conan's herald (initially).
    • Resolution: It turns out Black Organization member Vermouth had taken the initiative and written an anonymous letter of reference to the Court of the Gods, hoping to get Conan (who she knows is Shinichi) brought into an unfamiliar environment to see how her fellow operatives would track him down if and when they were ascending.
  • He was ascended under this trope because wherever he goes, be it on vacation, a camping trip, or a visit to Osaka, there's a case to solve, usually accompanied by a dead body (or several). Every time. Many superstitious parent deities are wary of having their children around him, should something bad happen to them as well.
  • In the beginning, Conan's temple was a small office-looking building with small tools to match for him to conduct investigations. When Ai Haibara, a close friend of his and formerly a scientist for the Black Organization and Ran ascended (with her father as a herald), he was relieved that he was no longer alone. Ran of course being Conan's de facto guardian, surprised that Conan had ascended before her, had her temple connected with Conan's via a portal. Nowadays, she rarely spends time in the sub-house of Sources of Information. A good thing too, since there are way more villainous forces (like Metatron) in there than the safer confines of the sub-house of Investigative Work.
    • With Ran's herald being Kogoro, Conan's temple was converted into a building identical to the Mouri Detective Agency, and the Sleeping Kogoro was back in business!
  • Considering Shinichi is in love with Ran, her status as his guardian and honorary big sister makes things very awkward for him: seeing her undress, bathing with her... Many snigger at how he nose-bleeds at the sight of it. Secondly, they also keep telling him to progress their relationship, blaming the plot and all its unnecessary complications for getting in the way of it. For example, Houki & Lingyin were at first displeased when learning about his relationship with Ran. Not for the fact that he doesn't tell her the truth (they understand that he worries about her safety) but the fact that he realized his feelings for Ran for a long time and still did not confess to her and bragging about how he was beloved by other girls. However, they let out a loud cheer when they learned that he spilled out his feelings to Ran during a case in London and the two are currently (sort of) "dating". Suffice to say, a lot of bickering ensued.
  • It's a whole other can of worms for the relationship between Conan and Haibara. She probably counts as Conan's closest friend besides Ran. When she ascended, Conan went to her in hopes of persuading her to use the many other antidotes in the Pantheon to more swiftly concoct a permanent one. He even suggested other experts on the matter in the Pantheon that can work with her. Haibara flat-out refused, insisting that she wants to work alone using her own methods and would do anything to keep Conan from stealing her prototype antidotes. She doesn't want him worsening the effects and resistance to her antidotes every single time he uses one, even if he uses the antidotes for "important emergencies", causing him to groan in disappointment and give up. Despite this, Conan visits her temple regularly to ensure her safety and that she has companionship. Unbeknownst to anybody, Ai once had romantic feelings for him. Keyword being once. She grew out of that phase. When he was informed of this in secret and how fans were shipping them for their many similarities, even clamouring for Ran's death, he was not happy.
Conan: All of you barous, knock it off. If you have such opinions, keep them to yourself. We're Just Friends. Me and Haibara. (grudging acknowledgement) You can ship me and Ran all you want, because it is true. But stop this toxic behaviour.
  • As for Shuichi Akai, Hidemi Hondou and Rei Furuya, he doesn't contact them often for fear of compromising their identities (and in the case of the latter two, his own). He does meet Shuichi as Subaru in passing in the local school, stealthily informing him when the Black Organization ascended. Currently, thanks to Conan, Shuichi is the head of the security detail around Haibara's temple. Not that she knows it exists. The two are prone to keeping secrets from each other to keep them safe from the Organization's wrath and prevent each other from taking risks.
  • Yusaku and Yukiko Kudo, Shinichi's biological parents, frequently baby him when no one else is around. For the purpose of solving mysteries, he keeps them at arm's length. No hard feelings.
  • Now, there's the case of people knowing his identity. Conan has proven notoriously bad at doing this, zig-zagging from an adorable and cute child to an abnormally precociously one (with noticeable voice changes) within seconds. Almost everyone has suspicions that he at least has something to hide. Six people have discovered it for themselves, all connected to the Black Organization in some way. Two even tricked Conan into admitting it out loud! The only reason Conan has weathered this storm is through sheer luck or the situation the plot happens to put him in. A lot of people seem to know his secret, given the access to the entire repository of fictional material in the Pantheon. Conan's stance on the matter is simply not to tell anyone, and if they know, just acknowledge it briefly and let live. As for the case of his loved ones finding out (especially Ran) and getting put in danger simultaneously, a mandate has been set by the Court as follows:
    • Under no circumstances must law enforcement overly defer to Conan in front of others who do not know his identity and are from his homeworld, specifically his legal guardians, Kogoro and Ran. They must follow along with the 'Sleeping Kogoro' act and not interfere with it unless absolutely necessary.
    • Ran especially cannot be informed of Conan's true identity and current situation unless she finds out for herself without outside assistance from someone who knows. If this is violated under any circumstances in which it could have been prevented or if another choice was available, she will be given the Brain Bleach and/or expelled from the Pantheon (politely) along with the offender (not so politely). Both rules are rendered null and void if the full revelation is done in-story by Gosho Aoyama.
    • A lot of people think this mandate is absolutely stupid, since it is highly likely that the Black Organization would have sent followers ahead. They think that there should be some sort of middle ground as to what she knows of Conan that will stay in the Pantheon and not follow back to her homeworld. In Conan's view, even if Death Is Cheap in the Pantheon, he remains paranoid even if a lot of deities already know who he really is without ending up in the Organization's sights and far worse villains exist. Worse, there are plenty of cases where villains have made it to the Pantheon before ascending, so, as per Conan's wishes, this mandate will stay in place, though it can re-negotiated at a later date with plot development.
    • Ai has a different view of things. From consultation with some cosmologists, any before-the-fact revelation of as of yet secret details in the manga could cause a paradox. It would forcibly derail the ingrained rules of the Detective Conan universe (fixtures of the series setting such as Conan getting shrunk or Sato and Takagi's budding romance) and result in its destruction. Few believe this theory, but have no inclination to test it out. Maybe Krona.
  • One of the first people Conan ever met after ascending happened to be lounging around the House of Profession cleaning up mess from some random alien exploding at the entrance. The Doctor (Eleventh at the time of Conan's ascension) was fretting about how the fashion designers from the House of Personal Appearance ought to be more careful in checking their dummies before having them delivered to the first-floor shops (i.e. living dummies i.e. Autons). Out of curiosity, Conan asked what he was referring to, and they took to each other at once due to their eccentric fashion sensibilities (Bowties Are Cool) and their love for investigation (the Doctor's idea of that is very different from Conan's).
  • The allies Conan cooperates with the most on record are the Japan-based detectives in his own sub-house. Before Ran and Haibara ascended, he and Heiji would hang out in the Narumi Detective Agency, poking fun at Shotaro's adamantly hard-boiled attitude and asking Philip to do ridiculous searches on the Gaia Library. He prides them for working on a very tight ship against monsters with superpowered USB drives. Conan finds himself a bit cheated that Philip has access to the worlds' accumulated knowledge to find a solution to their cases. For their sake, Conan would steadfastly follow news of the Kamen Rider fandom, considering the show parrots another show he and the Detective Boys watch, Kamen Yaiba. Despite Shinnosuke Tomari being a detective in the police force, Conan was first introduced to him on TV as a Brilliant, but Lazy detective who fell from grace to only gradually get better. However, things got better for them after Shinnosuke fully embraced his role as a Kamen Rider and his re-promotion to elite detective status in the First Division.
  • He was reduced to a babbling mess when he met Sherlock Holmes at a book-signing ceremony in the House of Knowledge. The detective, pleased at having such an avid fanboy with a strong conviction against crime, invited him to his temple at 221B Baker Street for some fireside talks. A common topic of discussion is on their proclivities to vanity and being full of themselves. Holmes was the one who informed him of the Black Organization's official ascension because his arch-nemesis James Moriarty had joined up under the name 'Smirnoff'. Conan was pleasantly surprised that a pair of mice named Basil and Dawson lived in his apartment and have similar characteristics.
    • Doesn't know what to think about Sherlock's granddaughter Sherry and her friends the Milky Holmes. While he respects their abilities, he doesn't like how goofy they are when on their job.
  • Thought at first that Hercule Poirot's temple is the coffee shop in his world and decided to pay a visit to meet some of his non-ascended friends. Upon meeting Hercule Poirot in person, Shinichi was very excited and cited him as one of his fictional favorite characters. Has more recently become a sort of mentor to Conan, joining him in his fireside talks with Holmes. Psychology and the human element is Poirot's forte, and he is trying to get Conan to balance the logical side of investigation with sympathy and emotion.
    • Conan has a very big problem with this. His stance on crime is that no matter the reason or motive behind it, it is still wrong, bordering on outright blasphemous, and the criminal has to face the consequences of his actions. This poses a problem for him here. While this philosophy is arguably his world's leading principle and life lesson, this causes him to have a Black-and-White Morality, giving Kirk Summations to criminals that cause them to break down, seemingly being unsympathetic towards them. Having had a case where the criminal behind the murder was Driven to Suicide, Conan has made it his mission to prevent that from ever happening again. Poirot is trying as hard as he can to open Conan's eyes to the many varieties of alignment in the Pantheon, from pure paragons of goodness and most depravedof individuals to the outright bonkers.
    • Poirot suggested that he branch out from his usual detective crowd and mix in with other deities and look into the more diversified bunch of criminals (like galactic conquerors and bloody serial killers) to get in their minds and see how they think rather than labelling them as outright bad. Some notable ones he has analyzed are Thanos, Jigsaw and Keel Lorenz.
    • He has taken to watching video essays like this to comprehend people he can't wrap his mind around. Johan Liebert is a killer who hardly kills, instead exploiting the dark feelings of other humans to turn them into psychopaths. Worst of all, he used the AR rooms of the Oghma Library to scrutinize recreations of his killings, and no clues were found, no traces, no sign of a motive. He doesn't possess malevolent intent, he just... kills. He is especially proud of Kenzo Tenma for his faith in life and that crime must not go unpunished, pursuing Johan across Germany but refusing to kill him, knowing he would never come back from such an act.
  • Has never met Gandalf, but has taken his words to heart:
Gandalf: Pity? It's a pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play in it, for good or evil, before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many.
  • When he first ascended, Shinichi immediately came to an investigation when heard about an organization called "The Men In Black" in hope that they're the same ones that shrunk him. Not much is known about this investigation, but he remembered waking up in his temple after someone asked him to look ahead into a flashlight...
    • Completely scrambled all investigations after the actual Black Organization ascended, discovering it on a regular visit to Haibara's temple. He immediately contacted Kir and Bourbon for intel, and got it. He hopes to take the fight to them eventually, and has increased his involvement in solving crimes in preparation.
  • Conan despises Chrollo Lucilfer and his heralds the Phantom Troupe as their one of the most dangerous criminals in their world. They do have an excuse on why they murder people that aren't part of their group, people don't care about the city they live in because it's a literal garbage dump that they decided that if people don't care about them, why not murder them? In fact, murder is so routine for them that they don't even bother to remember the name of their victims, just like Gin. The members do love each other like a family and if one of them died, they will be replaced but they will avenge them for that. As Gon states, if they mourn and knew what it's like to lose someone especially if you consider them as family, why not murder the rest of the world who express the same feelings as them? It doesn't help that one of the members, Feitan has the same voice when Conan is Shinichi.
  • Contrary to many of his fellow detectives, Shinichi actually has a pretty good relationship with the law enforcement due to his form as a kid making it easier for him to collect clues and allowing him to get into their good graces easier.
    • That being said, he despises every single corrupt or sloppy cop due to getting in trouble with them many times while solving cases.
  • Really annoyed when Western gods called him Jimmy instead of Conan. He knows that this is to distinguish him from another Conan in the Pantheon, but he doesn't get how anyone can mistake a Japanese kid detective for a barbarian.
  • Kiki was very surprised upon meeting him due to the fact that he sounds really similar to her while Conan is surprised that Kiki sounded like an actress he met on a case. Nevertheless, they bonded over their bizarre methods of transportation.
  • Even though he wasn't that surprised to hear about Conan Edogawa being in the Pantheon considering that they have crossed paths a number of times in the past, Kaito finds the detective to be a worthy adversary given the skills established by such (and Conan has acknowledged Kaito's own skills). That said, they're pretty amicable towards each other even if they're trying to outwit each other.
  • He might also be wary of Jane Marple since he once fought an expy of her who turned out to be the culprit for that case.
There can only be one truth!

SCP-261, Divine Vindictive Vending Machine (261: Pan-Dimensional Vending)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/261_2.jpg
SCP-261 at time of recovery
  • Potential House: Food
  • [tup]s:
  • Lesser Deity
  • Symbol: Itself
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Passive-Aggressive Vending Machine,Dispensing Alien Lunch, Hates Coins-on-a-string and Counterfeit Cash, It Can Think, It Won't Turn Off, Money Fetish, Troll
  • Domain(s): Vending, Alien Food
  • Similar Item: SCP-294
  • Property of: The SCP Foundation
  • Enemies: Mr. Eugene Krabs, Mr. Burns
  • Opposed by: Benson
  • The trope, by its nature, doesn't lend itself to a location or individual, making finding a representative for it... difficult, to say the least, and rare objects tend to become Treasures, which are not allowed to have titles. Since vending machines tend to be non-sentient, that was a bit of a problem.
    • That said, given there's already a tank and me, a toaster among the ascended SCPs, the vending machine, after sentience was proven, was given the green light for ascension.
    • As for why the Foundation allowed it in the first place, they needed more tests, and they needed a wider food tolerance range than ordinary humans, and the Pantheon is full of them. That, and an order from the Court of the Gods.
  • Containment procedures are more or less the same as before, but with some liberties given the cheapness of death and the existence of stranger things compared to what the vending machine can deposit.
    1. Access to SCP-261 must be approved by the staff on-site.
    2. Only Japanese Yen can be used to operate SCP-261; any other money and it will return it. There's a money exchange stall for an easy way to get yen.
    3. Any and all items dispensed must be recorded, along with the amount of money entered and the amount of time elapsed between uses.
    4. With the larger range of customers and larger demands, SCP-261 may now be used up to 120 times in a twenty-four hour period, with no transaction exceeding the equivalent of 500 Japanese yen. Any transactions with higher denominations must be approved by the Foundation itself.
    5. Items dispensed by SCP-261 should be reviewed by on-Site Health and Safety officials before consumption. Failure to do so releases the Foundation from any obligation regarding negative effects.
    6. Items deemed dangerous (even to the customer's health/well-being) or useful to research will still be confiscated by site security, with financial compensation provided in proportion to money spent. Resistance will be met by force.
  • There are three things one must NEVER do when using the machine:
    • Don't give it counterfeit money. It ALWAYS knows, even when the forgery is perfect. One person got cyanide gummy middle fingers as a result.
    • Don't try the coin-on-a-string trick. Generally what happens is the food item consumed will be almost immediately vomited out, as if the food had a string attached to it. However, it seemed the machine eventually got fed up with that and dropped a live grenade that exploded, causing quite a bit of death and injury. The Foundation fears it would take more and more drastic measures if the customer proves very unkillable.
    • Don't insert money and then take your sweet time entering numbers in the keypad. Someone did this and got 30-years-expired strawberry yogurt that gave him food poisoning for 3 weeks straight
  • This is a comprehensive list of what's been tested so far.
  • This is proof that the vending machine indeed has a mind of its own.
Money entered: 0 yen (pushed "coin return" button)
Item description: Red aluminum can labelled simply "Stop That" in block letters; intermittent buzzing heard from within can, as of a large, angry insect. Subject declined to open container.
Money entered: A note, in English, reading "I.O.U. 500 ¥"
Item description: An opened container of "Smartfood" brand white cheddar-flavored popcorn, manufactured by Frito-Lay. Contains remnants of popcorn kernels and powdered cheddar cheese-flavored substance, and a note, reading "I.O.U. 41 popcorn kernels".
  • SCP-261 tends to be a smart-ass if messed with. Inserting literally half of a Yen note will give you literally half of a food item.
  • It can be run even when unpowered, but it tends to give more unstable results.
  • Despite being just a vending machine, the nature of its trope means it would have its share of enemies.
    • For one, there's Mr. Krabs, who pulled some byzantine trick to avoid having to pay a single dime to that machine. Let's just say it ended with an alien napalm grenade.
      • And then Krabs tried dragging it home with him the next time he visited, only for the Foundation to thwart him, and eventually start a ban list to prevent shenanigans like these or worse.
    • Benson got unfavourable flashbacks involving his rival Gene, who was also a living vending machine that often sets out to take Benson so that his park will have more visitors than Benson's. The living gumball machine even considers 261 being as petty as Gene after experiencing the machine's behaviour, a comparison 261 is offended at and made clear by giving him a can labeled UP YOURS containing a dangerous buzzing insect inside.
    • After a certain incident, Mr. Burns has also added 261 to his enemies list.

Here's the latest draft for the Aayla Secura profile

Aayla Secura, Goddess of Alien Hair

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/aalya_secura_sw_6074.jpg
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: Jedi Order Insignia.
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Action Girl, Has Lekku Head-Tails, Blue-Skinned Space Babe, Canon Immigrant, Master Swordswoman, Ms. Fanservice, No Kill Like Over Kill.
  • Domains: The Force, Combat, War
  • Herald: Oola
  • Superior: George Lucas
  • Allies: All ascended Jedi, Liara T'soni, Daenerys Targaryen, Snow White, Abraham Lincoln
  • Odd Friendship: Starfire
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Frank Castle, Anakin Skywalker
  • Enemies: All ascended Sith, most Separatists (Especially Wat Tambor), Wilhuff Tarkin, Jabba the Hutt, the Slavers, The Grineer
  • Wary Around: Clones, especially the 501st Legion
  • Born on the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth, Aayla was discovered to be force-sensitive and taken in by the Jedi order. She was apprenticed by Jedi Master Quinlan Vos. Participated in the attempt to rescue Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Padme from Geonosis, which marked the beginning of the Clone Wars. During the War, she commanded the 327th Star Corps on the planet of Felucia. Was killed during Order 66.
  • Like most Jedi, is deeply opposed to the Sith and all Dark side Force-Users.
  • Briefly commanded the 501st Legion while they were stationed on Felucia. It was said that without her leadership, they wouldn't have survived the fighting. Unfortunately, she is deeply distrustful of clones after Order 66, especially those belonging to Clone Armies. For what it's worth, many clones felt sorry for betraying her.
  • Does not like the Grineer. In addition to being an army of clones, she's horrified by their behavior and ruthlessness when dealing with opposition.
  • Was surprised to learn that Anakin had become Darth Vader, due to the fact that the last time she'd seen him he was a loyal member of the Jedi Order. He was also The Chosen One, and was expected by most Jedi to bring balance to the force by destroying the Sith. This has been further complicated when Anakin turned back to the Light Side and helped defeat the Emperor.
  • Having known her during the Clone Wars, Aayla was glad to learn that Ashoka Tano had not only survived Order 66, but had also ascended to the Pantheon. She was impressed that after Order 66, Ashoka had worked to help resist the Empire.
  • While she has animosity towards the Separatist Alliance, Aayla has an intense dislike of Wat Tambor, in no small part due to his brutal occupation of Ryloth and his experimentation on sentient beings. One of the few Jedi to survive General Grievous, though was severely wounded during the encounter.
  • As many Twi'leks are forced to become Sex Slaves, and becoming a slave when she was a child, she dislikes slavery and those who participate in it. Has a special hatred for the Slavers for their involvement in sex trafficking. Hates Jabba the Hutt for the same reason, especially after learning how he treats his slaves. Was forced to work with him during the Clone Wars, but after the war he allied himself with the Empire. As such, there's nothing holding her back now. She is very sympathetic to those who have been enslaved and admires those who have worked to free slaves.
  • Because she killed Jabba the Hutt, Aayla greatly admires Princess Leia. Has complicated feeling about Frank Castle. On the one hand, he took down the Slavers. On the other hand, his ruthlessness is at odds with the Jedi Code, which Aayla still adheres to.
  • Never much liked Tarkin to being with, these feelings got worse after he joined the Empire. Not to mention, he was involved in the construction of Death Star, which resulted in the enslavement of many non-humans. The feeling is mutual, as Tarkin has a low opinion of non-humans and the Jedi.
  • Is friends with Liara T'soni due to their similar appearances. Is also friends with Starfire due to both being aliens with a preference for skimpy clothes. However, while Starfire has no problem with romantic relations, Aayla is forbidden from having emotional attachments by the Jedi.
  • As with all other characters from Star Wars, her superior is George Lucas.

Vlad von Carstein, Vampire God of Studious Battle Warriors

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vlad_von_carstein.jpg
  • House of Combat (Fighting Mindsets)
  • Intermediate God, borderline Greater God
  • Symbol: The Von Carstein Banner
  • Theme:
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil (Can occasionally dip into Lawful Neutral)
  • Portfolio: Count of the Von Carstein Vampire Line, The First of the Vampire Counts, The Most Powerful Vampire of his Time, Feared Among those he Opposes, Governing an Undead Society, Reading and Learning as a Fond Hobby, Magic Lightning Bruiser, Courteous and Polite for a Vampire, Deeply loved his Wife Isabella, Opposes his sons Mannfred and Konrad, Seeks to Conquer the Empire as a Means to stop in-fighting, corruption and assert unity
  • Domains: Vampires, Monarchy, Culture, Undead
  • Herald: Isabella von Carstein
  • Allies: Lucifer, Homura Akemi, Alucard, Demitri Maximoff, Darth Vader, Vayne Carudas Solidor, Golbez, Bowser, Marceline
  • Rival: Dracula
  • Enemy Mine: The Grand United Alliance of Good
  • Enemies: Nagash the Undying, Khazrak, Gorthor, Nekron, Melkor, Count Orlok, Griffith, Dio Brando, Yuuki Terumi, Zamasu, Buffy Summers, The Belmont Bloodline, Link, Princess Zelda, Lucina
  • Respects: Adrian Fahrenheight Ţepeş/Alucard, Rachel Alucard, Arcueid Brunestud, Alm and Celica, The Lighthearted Dracula
  • On Good Terms With: The House of Love and Knowledge
  • Opposes: The Chaos Gods
  • The World of Warhammer is rife of numerous races and cultures of differing faith and allegiance. One of the most puzzling and mysterious are the Vampires who take hold of Sylvania. Originating from Queen Neferata, who sought to become immortal by acquiring knowledge and magical abilities from the Nine Books of Nagash, more vampires birthed rapidly, before eventually dispersing and forming dynasties to establish their prominence and power. The first and greatest Vampire Count, the von Carstein bloodline reached its greatest moments under the governing of Vlad, who's incredible power, affinity for magic and sophisticated military skills asserted him as the most powerful vampire of his time.
  • Vlad von Carstein marched towards the House of Undead as he made his presence known in the Pantheon. A powerful vampire in his own regard, he encountered several beings of his kin, some which intrigued him and others that he outright disliked. Dracula greeted Vlad, initially getting along quite well, given their polite and eloquent attitude, though Vlad's was sincere whereas Dracula had a more devious tone to his. They nearly became allies... until Vlad learned of Dracula's allegiance to Nagash and Nekron. Vlad declined Dracula's offer of alliance, much to the latter's dismay. Despite the two competing against one another, they still hold a measure of respect towards one another.
    • By default, Vlad opposed Nagash mainly due to his disregard for vampires in the Warhammer world and really not giving a damn for anybody other than himself. It still remains in the Pantheon, with Nagash now allied to Nekron, whose end goals align with one another. Because of this, Vlad is directly against the Grand United Alliance of Destruction. While he himself is an undead, Vlad would only carry out extreme actions if its the best or only way to achieve his goals and is more interested in maintaining his own forces rather than plundering and conquering other lands.
  • His horrifying appearance and terrifying reputation aside, Vlad is surprisingly more than meets the eye. His love towards his wife Isabella is incredibly potent, something that a lot of evil-aligned deities find surprising. As a result, he is one of the few evil beings to be given allowance towards the House of Love, where he often spends time with Isabella. Vlad is also a studious individual who loves to read and learn about different cultures and topics. Because of this, he and Isabella spend just as much time in the House of Knowledge thanks to their shared interest. It is also when being in those two houses where Vlad displays the best aspect of his personality.
    • Because of this, he has a good deal of admiration towards Alm and Celica as their love and compassion for one another allowed them to overcome their struggles and unite Valentia. Alm and Celica have admitted to respecting Vlad, though they would not hesitate in opposing him if needed. Given that Vlad invaded Bretonnia due to his belief that the Empire was corrupt, he has no interest in invading Valentia, and instead decided to try diplomatic relations with the two. Given that vampires are bloodthirsty creatures in nature, progress has been slow, though Vlad is doing his best in getting his vampire forces to understand different ethics and conversing those other than their own kind.
  • Lucifer has decided to invite Vlad into the Grand United Alliance of Chaos due to Vlad's complicated morality and his beliefs of running a government. Vlad took arms and became one of Lucifer's best assets thanks to his military prowess and his affinity in physical combat and magic, eventually being anointed a member of the Morningstar Battalion. He also took the time to converse with Homura Akemi, praising her drive to protect whom she loves and her determination in doing so. Darth Vader in turn has seen Vlad as a capable leader and someone who is able to work well with, something which Vlad returns the favor.
  • Naturally, as a vampire, he found enemies via the Belmonts and Buffy Summers. Despite this, Vlad doesn't really mind them, although he will gladly fight back if he has to. And even then, Vlad points out that there are worse vampires out there than him, which he's not wrong about
  • As a member of the Grand United Alliance of Chaos, Vlad, by default, is opposed to the Grand United Alliance of Good, due to the former being a renounced villain belonging to a monstrous and violent race. However, because the two of them are opposed to the Grand United Alliance of Destruction, Vlad will not hesitate to aid the GUAG in battle. And this isn't the only time he's helped out the forces of good either, given he carried out a surprise rescue and aid for the Empire during the joint Skaven and Forces of Chaos invasion.
  • Regarding vampires, Vlad has nothing but deep respect for Dracula's son, Alucard, thinking of him as the son he wish he had. While Alucard opposes Vlad, he does understand his frustration and depression regarding his own sons, Mannfred and Konrad, who wound up being Vlad's greatest mistakes and enemies. He also extends this towards Rachel Alucard and Arcueid Brunestud, whom Vlad considers noteworthy vampires and would often invite them to his company. Rachel and Arcueid are pleased by Vlad's hospitality, and although they are of different allegiance, they will fight together under a mutual enemy.
    • Vlad openly despises Count Orlok, seeing him as being too similar to Konrad and outright refusing to align with him in any way. And then there's Dio Brando, who's manipulative charisma and desire to rule the world eerily reminds Vlad of Mannfred. He fights Orlok and Dio on several occasions, with Vlad often entering Enemy Mine situations against others who oppose the two of them. Dio wants to posses the Carstein Ring as a means to empower his own immortality and Orlok simply dislikes Vlad for having benevolent qualities, being a preacher of the "vampires being inherently evil" status quo.

  • Hans Christian Andersen, God of Fairy Tales Reasoning: He did authored most well-known fairy tales of all time and was commonly associated with them. He draws influences from his tragic life to create their bleak natures.
  • Mikiya Kokutou, Celestial Love Martyr Reasoning: Mikiya loves Shiki so much he did everything he can to stop Shiki from killing. It worked too well as once he gets hurt, Shiki will kill in his name which is something Mikiya believes he has to bear.

Update on Jayden.

Are there any FBI agents here? How about folks that use VR glasses?

Norman Jayden, God of Functional Addicts

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/norman_jayden.jpg
  • Potential House: Medical Conditions
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: His FBI Badge, the ARI Glasses and a Triptocaine Tube
  • Theme Song: Norman Jayden Theme
  • Alignment: Lawful Good with some Neutral Good leanings
  • Portfolio: Badass Bookworm, By-the-Book Cop, Combat Pragmatist, Fair Cop, FBI Agent, Fight Magnet, Only Sane Employee, Only Sane Man, The Profiler, Sharp-Dressed Man, Troubled, but Cute
  • Domains: Mysteries, Investigation, Drugs, Virtual Reality, FBI, Issues
  • Allies: Commissioner Gordon, Cole Phelps, Batman, Neo
  • Enemies: Scott Shelby, Teru Mikami
  • Norman Jayden is an FBI agent from Washington to investigate the murders of the Origami Killer. With the use of the "Added Reality Interface" Glasses (or ARI for short) and his sharp wit, Jayden proved to be one of the most effective officers investigating the Origami Killer but he is not without his own set of issues. Norman suffers from an addiction from Triptocaine, a drug that keeps him stabilized when using ARI too much and he suffers from withdrawal should he not take it. Considering how he can still fully function even with his addiction, the court of gods awarded him the spot of Functional Addict for his prowess and managing to solve the identity of the Origami Killer.
  • While Jayden has managed to put an end to the Origami Killer, his tale ends on a rather bittersweet note considering he started allucinating tanks from ARI glasses. His arrival to the pantheon has helped him wonders to recover from the illusions, since the pantheon is home to things he couldn't have imagined even in his wildest dreams and the medical facilities has helped him tremendously. However, new problems ended up arising, he quickly came face to face with Scott Shelby, who hasn't forgotten that the FBI agent is the one that ended up defeating him for good.

[up] Considering Norman's efforts in solving the "Oragammy/Oragarmi" Killer case, you can have Norman be on good terms with the House of Family, particularly Children, Offsprings and Fathers.

For enemies, you might have Jack the Ripper and Dexter Morgan.

Not sure of any FBI characters in the Pantheon.

Here's a draft for the cabbies that'll replace Ms Tanizaki for Drives Like Crazy. Looking to see if there's additional interactions that can be suggested for them in general.

The West Coast Cabbiesmembers , Divine Quartet of Crazy Driving

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/crazy_taxi_boxart_dreamcastbrasil3.jpg
Left to right: Axel, Gena, Gus, B.D. Joe
  • Demideities
  • Symbol: The Crazy Taxi logo (pictured)
  • Theme Song: All I Want
  • Alignment: Somewhere between Chaotic Neutral and Neutral Good
  • Porfolio: Crazy driving, Sweet and indestructible cabs, Radical speech, Snarking at their passengers, Overlooked danger, The cool factor, Using ramps for cool jumps, No time to waste, Situational waterbreathing, Earning fares
  • Domains: Recklessness, Transportation
  • Heralds: The Small Apple Cabbiesmembers , The Glitter Oasis Cabbiesmembers
  • Allies: Travis Bickle, Sonic The Hedgehog, Beat, NIGHTS, Ecco
  • Rivals: Homer Simpson
  • Enemies: Rosco P. Coltrane, Mr. Burns
  • Somewhere in California and other locations, many different people are looking to get to their destination as fast as possible. In order to do so, they must rely on four cabbies of varying personalities and temperaments to reach that location. Those cabbies are very skilled at driving, but have a huge disregard for basic traffic safety. In fact, those customers actually admire those acts of recklessness and will provide additional fares to the cabbies in addition to the cabbies getting to said destinations quickly. They might not offer the most practical and logical way of getting there, but their methods sure beat walking.
  • It was a peaceful day in the Pantheon, and unlike most other peaceful days that would lead to a calamity of some kind, nothing was happening behind the scenes that would threaten the stability of the Pantheon that day. A few deities got tired of walking and looked through a phone book to see if there was someone that could get them to their destination faster. Four cabbies arrived some time later and offered to take those deities to their desired places. What followed was a wild ride throughout the streets of the Pantheon as the cabbies caused near-misses and skidded across streets, but they were able to get those deities to their destination quickly. Those deities liked the cabbies' crazy style of work and made a successful request to get them involved in the Pantheon.
  • The four quickly managed to find another cabby in Travis Bickle and decided to strike a conversation with him. Travis, who mostly preferred to keep to himself, was a bit surprised to find others in the same field as he is, though the four aren't entirely aware of his life beyond being a cabby. Given the other commitments he has in addition to working with a taxi, Travis figured that the four could fill in for him whenever he's doing his other work, which the four obliged. The differences in how Travis and the four take their passengers to their desired places couldn't be more different, but the four are among the very few deities that Travis doesn't have a lot of issues with.
  • Of the four, B.D. Joe has taken some time off his job to participate in races between Sonic the Hedgehog and other Sega characters. Some of these races involved taking to the skies and sea in addition to being on the ground, with Joe's taxi having the appropriate modifications for said races. The other cabbies have noticed Joe's participation in those races and have even talked to him about having their cabbies attain the same modifications that he has so they can take passengers across the sea (driving on the sea floor is a different thing entirely) and through the air. He's certainly open to that idea and test runs have been made using these methods to get more Pantheonic denizens to their destinations, no matter what those places might be.
  • All four are at odds with Homer Simpson due to him having once taken on a roll not unlike theirs. While the various residents of Springfield have taken a go at that kind of driving during that time, the mostly friendly rivalry is mostly directed to Homer. Springfield's driving craze happened because Mr. Burns attempted to buy out the city's transit systems and have radioactive buses running around. The West Coast cabbies have a problem with what Mr. Burns attempted and he's more than willing to try and pull off that stunt again in the Pantheon.

Faso: Both Will Graham and Clarice Starling are FBI agents who consulted a serial killer to get an another serial killer. Their life went downhill as Will became an alcoholic and Clarice fell in love with Hannibal and ran away with him together. At least it didn't happen to Clarice in the film version.

[up]Might become friends with Irisviel von Einzbern because she loves to drive like crazy not because she is a horribly bad driver but because she thinks it's fun and treats it like a playground. She also doesn't follow the traffic rules since she doesn't know them as much most likely because she's a homunculus.

@nightelf: The fact that he's a good detective isn't the issue here, it's keeping his secret. Even if they are in the Pantheon, it's important that they remain in an identical formula to the main plot.

@Muundeis: And, why not? Carry on with Anderson.

[down] I should have made my meaning plainer: secret to those that aren't supposed to know about it, like Kogoro and Ran. Read the mandate. If I theoretically allowed them to know his identity, how do we reconcile that when it inevitably happens in-show? That would create a massive Continuity Snarl in the Pantheon and necessitate another major rework of the profiles. So until there is a full endgame arc where everything is revealed, I won't change the status quo except incrementally.disclaimer

I do plan to add another part about Conan's conflicting opinion on the status quo and how it essentially dictates how his identity can't be revealed until the end of it all. Trust me, I asked louisent about how this work and he said my approach was fine.

People are aware of his skill, even Kogoro, but Conan has also just gotten so used to (badly) concealing his identity at all times that he does it even in the Pantheon, and in front of those who are likely to know his true identity regardless. Like if people do say they know, he just says 'OK' or something and let live. The only loose end is keeping tabs on those tattletales who blab to Ran just to see what happens...

[up]There was no indication that he was as keeping it secret here before. Why change that now? I assumed he used the Sleeping Kogoro method because he knows he wouldn't be taken seriously otherwise. I also assumed that his accomplishments would be known here, just like how the Origami Killer's identity is public, that Snape killed Dumbledore, and other secrets.

I'm done with this.

Qinglongmon, Zhuqiaomon, Baihumon and Xuanwumon, The Four Gods (Digimon Sovereigns; The Harmonious Ones; Qinglongmon: Azulongmon; Zhuqiaomon: Sutsemon; Xuanwumon: Ebonwumon; Huanglongmon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fourbeastsgroup.jpg
Clockwise from top: Xuanwumon, Qinglongmon, Zhuqiaomon, Baihumon
  • Greater Gods
  • Symbol: A compass rose with the four signaling their respective directions
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Digimon versions of the four cardinal gods of East Asia, physical gods who rarely do anything, protectors of the Digital World, really big monsters, having four eyes
  • Domains: Divinity, The Internet, Mons, Cardinal Directions
  • Superior: Norn Mikihara
  • Allies: Eight Digidestined, 02 Digidestined, GUAG White Hats, Arceus, Shin Megami Tensei heroes, the Bladebreakers
  • Enemies: Evil Digimon deities, especially Lucemon, Master Control Program, Clu, Grand United Alliance of Machines, YHVH
  • The Four Holy Beasts are four Mega-level Digimon that are some of the highest authorities in the Digital World. With twelve DigiCores each instead of one, they're on a whole other level of power, even compared with other Megas. They've reigned over the Digital World since the age of myth and are extremely difficult to track down, though they may appear of their own will to someone. The four are the Digital World's version of the animals of the cardinal directions in Asian folklore. Being actual major deities in their home universe, the Main House thought they were excellent choices to be bequeathed the trope The Four Gods.
  • Qinglongmon tends to be the most active in attempting to stop crises in the Digital World, though at the same time it has a reputation for aloofness. Zhuqiaomon has a bad temper and can be outright antagonistic, though it generally means well in the long run. Baihumon is the youngest and most hot-headed, as well as reputedly the most powerful of the four. Xuanwumon is the eldest and has a folksy, patient personality.
  • Although they have a proper temple like everyone else, they're not usually in it and instead can be found guarding the edges of the Pantheon's digital landscape. East, South, West and North, respectively. They may or may not come if someone tries summoning them through the computer at their temple; these four are known for not lending their help to just anyone. The White Hats try to keep track of them at all times so they can be easily contacted in times of crisis, and the four acknowledge and praise their efforts to keep the digital world safe, though they still won't easily go out of their way to help the group, believing they should prove they're worthy of it first. The conditions for this "proof" are known only to the four. And yes, the White Hats have to prove their worth for each new crisis that arises. Gods (actual ones) work in mysterious ways.
  • Their ascension was well-received by the 1999 and 2002 Digidestined; Qinglongmon had a large role in advising them and giving Paildramon the ability to evolve into Imperialdramon. They were also excited to finally meet the other three gods face-to-face and Koushiro took the opportunity to ask them whether they were really the partners of the Digidestined before them. The four cryptically answered that there were many truths to their origins.
  • As far as Digimon go they might be at the top of the chain, but even they answer to whatever host computer rules their world. In certain universes the four are ruled by ENIAC (yep, the first ever electronic computer), but in the hierarchy established in the Pantheon, their boss is Norn Mikihara, aka Yggdrasill. With that said, the four aren't as tethered to Norn as, say, the Royal Knights are. The four just do their thing in overseeing the Digital World and make periodic reports to Norn. Other than that, Norn has encouraged them to show more interest in the perspective and affairs of humans, which is something they have to get used to, given they made a point of being elusive in the past.
  • In the distant past, Lucemon sealed their superior Huanglongmon and overthrew the four so he could establish his own rule. While Lucemon eventually got overthrown himself thanks to the Warrior Ten and the four were restored to leadership, they do not take kindly at all to the fallen angel's presence in the Pantheon and resent him for what he's done to Huanglongmon. They do not tolerate any Digimon that destabilizes the peace and harmony of the Digital World, but It's Personal with Lucemon.
  • Despised by YHVH due to their claims of godhood and "promoting false faith", and it doesn't help that the evil Law god knows them as being Chaos-aligned (although these four mons would probably be considered Neutral in SMT terms). And given Lucemon is a favorite of YHVH's in the Pantheon, the Four Holy Beasts are in for a bad time against the GUAL. However, the heroes of the SMT universe sought them out and proposed that they fight alongside them against YHVH as their analogues so often did; given they use computers to summon demons, this method should be comfortable for the four. As a result, the four mons are summonable by SMT heroes, though only once a day as they still want to focus on the digital world.
  • They don't butt heads with every other universe's major god, as proven by their friendly relationship with Arceus, who like them is a major deity that rules over mons. The four often have diplomatic meetings with the Pokemon Top God to promote peace and good relations between Digimon and Pokemon, and like Arceus, they oppose Millenniumon for its wanton and gratuitous destruction. Although they are surprised and curious that a quirky hacker seems to have been able to tame the Millennium Bug and they wonder if Millenniumon could be redeemable after all.
  • Were paid a visit by the Bladebreakers, who wanted to see how the chosen four gods stacked up against their Bit-Beasts, who were drawn from the same source. The Bit-Beasts spontaneously manifested to meet their counterparts, and after the two groups sized each other up and danced around each other for a while, the Bit-Beasts were satisfied and receded into their Beyblades. While the Bladebreakers were wondering at the mysterious display, the four gods simply said they had their blessing.
  • Being such important and powerful digital deities, they are frequent targets of various evil computers and viruses for corruption or control. Clu once succeeded in taunting Baihumon, luring it into the Game Grid and trapping it there, where he proceeded to try to torture it until its mind broke, at which point Clu would force the strongest of the four to become his Digimon partner. Before that could happen, Sam Flynn and Qinglongmon teamed up and fought to free Baihumon, knowing it'd be a disaster if one of the four gods fell into evil hands. Sam and Qinglongmon succeeded, and the latter was impressed enough that a Digivice appeared in Sam's hands, tying the two as partners, surprising most of the Pantheon that one of the four gods would deign to be partners with anyone (then again, if legendary Pokemon do it...).
  • And then Kevin Flynn came out with the reveal that he and Xuanwumon had actually formed a partnership a while before Sam and Qinglongmon did; it just occurred in much more uneventful circumstances that caused it to go unnoticed. It happened when the four had paid a visit to converse with the God of Cyberspace and Xuanwumon remained a while longer, feeling that it and Kevin were kindred spirits, and after talking at length about their beliefs they formed a strong enough bond to become partners. Since then, Kevin can often be found meditating among the branches of Xuanwumon's tree.
  • While Norn may have been very pleased that half of them had managed to form strong bonds with humans, Zhuqiaomon for its part was rather grouchy at the developments and didn't see why they had to debase (that's how it sees it) themselves like that. At any rate, the four at some point were visited by the Priestess of Suzaku, Miaka Yuuki, who was itching to see if the four were kinder gods compared to the ones she knows. Qinglongmon was disappointed, to say the least, to hear about its analogue's terrible deeds and balked at learning Seiryuu was the god of war, though when hearing that Suzaku was the god of love, it had a good laugh because that didn't fit the bad-tempered Zhuqiaomon at all. Zhuqiaomon itself thought Miaka was actually quite different from how it usually envisions humans, after hearing about how she used the three wishes granted to her by Suzaku to save others when the temptation to waste them on herself must have been great. Zhuqiaomon stated, in somewhat Tsundere fashion, that if Miaka was ever in such danger that she needed greater help than her Guardians, Zhuqiaomon would probably come flying. Somehow that was enough for Miaka to obtain a Digivice, which confirms Zhuqiaomon has a softer spot for Miaka than it cares to demonstrate.
  • Following that, seeing that Baihumon was the only one left without a partner, Miaka got the idea to bring her friend Sarasa to meet it, due to the young woman's ties to the White Tiger. Sarasa was certainly interested in seeing the four gods in the flesh, though she doubted they would see anything of value in her. On the contrary, after hearing how Sarasa liberated her country, she had Baihumon's full attention. Baihumon decided that it would become Sarasa's partner, after she showed it her battle prowess first hand by fighting it. Almost everyone present thought a Mega Digimon versus a human was just unreasonable, but Sarasa unexpectedly agreed. So Sarasa fought Baihumon, but with a twist; she had her whole army backing her up and they made extensive use of strategy to beat the tiger. Sarasa explained to Baihumon that she had no chance of beating it by herself, just like she wouldn't have beaten Japan's monarchy without the help of her comrades, because she's really nothing special. Baihumon, instead of being angry, was won over by the trust between Sarasa and her army and decided she was the most worthy partner for it after all.
  • At some point Xuanwumon was confronted by a strange clown who referred to it as Maturin and said that this time IT wouldn't allow it to interfere with ITS goals. Xuanwumon was just sort of confused and commented that for a clown, ITS jokes needed work. Kevin Flynn explained that it was no joke and the clown was Pennywise, an evil abomination that liked to eat children, and also explained who Maturin was. Xuanwumon thought that it couldn't be helped and that it would just have to do Maturin's job of beating Pennywise to a pulp once in a while. No sense in letting the young ones suffer.
