Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@Malty: By extension, while she might be knowingly evil given how much she lies, the Phantom Thieves might wonder if her desires are distorted enough anyways given that she continued lying even with a Slave Collar on her that would zap her if she does. There's no way she could possibly be that stupid to think her deception could fly.

Evaluation Mode

  • Intermediate Goddess in-game, Quasideity IRL, at higher-end Intermediate Goddess levels with her new forms
  • Symbol: Her great shield, Mirror of the Dark Night
  • Theme Song: Kyuukyoku Unbalance normally, Good Night when she's doing somethig crazy
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Achievements in Ignorance, Badass on Paper, Beware the Silly Ones, Born Lucky, Combat Pragmatist, Fearless Fool, Glacier Waif, Nice Girl, Red And Black Armor But Still A Nice Person, Shield Bash, Light-Hearted Take On Stock Light-Novel Hero, That One Player
  • Domain(s): MMORPGs, Defense, Poison
  • Heralds: The Maple Tree Guild
  • High Priest: Huntsman!Izuku Midoriya
  • Followers: Min-Maxers
  • Allies: All heroic Sword Art Online deities
  • Enemies: Nobuyuki Sugou/Oberon, Quinella
  • Dislikes: Akihiko Kayaba
  • In a video game with a stat point system, balance is vital to allow players to play according to their own styles, or build their party members on differing specialties. Because when a certain stat becomes vital to a lot of things, that stat will become the "God Stat" most everybody's (who aren't casuals or explicitly not abusing it as a challenge) gonna base their builds on.
    • Enter Kaede Honjou, an average girl who's never played a video game until her friend Risa Shiramine recommended her the VRMMO NewWorld Online, where she took the Great Knight class and the avatar name Maple. Because she dislikes being in pain, and since she's not conditioned by video games to balance her stat build, she dumped all of her points into VIT. Of course, this meant having a pitiful STR for attack, AGI and DEX for speed, and INT for magic. But through sheer luck and ingenuity, Maple quickly gained skills and loot that offset her downsides, eventually rose through the ranks (without meaning to), and became infamous both by the Dev Team and the playerbase (though it's thankfully not toxic enough to socially harass her).
  • As for how she made it to the Pantheon, that's a unique story. One day after school, Kaede found a very special software in her VR device called "Pantheon Goddess". Not aware on how to watch out for malware, she gave it a try, and the next thing she knew, she was in the Maple Tree Guild. Except it was empty, she was not in her Maple avatar, and the surrounding area outside was completely different. As it turns out, this is how she made it to the Pantheon, though it's not known who sent that program.
    • And then an impromptu assassin came in to try and kill her for reasons she would never know. But in response to her spiked panic, she immediately changed to Maple and their knife shortly failed to puncture her skin. And because her shield was on hand, the assassin was shortly Devoured. An envoy from the Court of the Gods arrived shortly after and escorted her in order to get an explanation. As fellow gamers with VR game avatars they can switch in and out of (which means Shiroe, Akatsuki, and Ainz Ooal Gown are out), the SAO heroes were called in as well to assist.
    • Upon facing the Court of the Gods (and the PPC), she was briefed in on what the Pantheon is, how she can come and go without having to worry about the time passing by outside, and why she was "summoned" here in the first place, namely her VIT-only focus and how she was able to break the game because of her achievements. They also told her that while Death Is Cheap here, it's taken as seriously as one in real life, so she should be careful with her actions to avoid making enemies out of who could otherwise be friends. Once they were sure that she completely understood everything she needed to know, she was led back to her temple by the SAO heroes.
  • Here are some important things needed to know about Maple.
    • She's gained quite the comprehensive list of Skills over the course of her playthrough so far. Her VIT is obscenely multiplied, she has plenty of skills that further reduce her damage taken, she's immune to poison and paralysis, can meditate to recover HP, can draw aggro, takes have damage from explosions, can endure one fatal blow per day, teleport to allies, float monsters with Psychokinesisnote , null pierce effects received with her shield, and more.
    • She's also capable of Eating the Enemy for HP Drain. Of course, given all the skills she has, she's highly unlikely to resort to this in battles here.
    • As for equipment, her defaults are the Mirror of the Dark Night (great shield)note , Armor of the Black Rose (armor)note , Crescent Moon (short sword)note , Toughness Ring, and the Bridge of Bonds (ring)note .
      • She also has a few other tricks up her sleeve. First up is the Loving Sacrifice form, which grants the following benefits. One skill renders all allies in an area of 10-meter diameter around herself under the effects of Cover. Another is a very potent healing spell. Yet another is a dome of light surrounds Maple and her allies, making all attacks ineffective against them for 10 seconds. In addition, while in this state, her hair turns blond, and gains a halo and wings like an angel.
      • Second is the Atrocity form from the Seeping Chaos skillset that she acquired from using HP Drain on the Devil (read: eating it from the inside after it swallowed her). Besides gaining the ability to summon "predator devils" to fight alongside her (and add Hex, which reduce target's abilities for 2 minutes by 5% per stack), summoning a tentacle-like demon from her shadow to whip like a prehensile muscle, and summoning "tentacles" from her hand that can spike out, Atrocity grants her a demon form that has a secondary HP bar, and has +50 to STR and AGI, but loses all effects of her equipment. Better yet, even if this form's HP turns to zero, these changes are merely reverted and she returns to the state she left. While she gets a Voice of the Legion, her voice is still cute enough to detract from the scare factor of her demon form.
      • Third is the Machine God form after clearing a hidden quest in the 3rd layer. It's a power that destroys her equipment and gives birth to (futuristic) weapons that don't rely on her STR for damage. Sacrificed items of higher quality grants better bonuses. It also has limited uses, though the specifics aren't made clear. Besides those weaponry, she can also perform Break Core, where a hole opens where her heart is and a red glowing spherical sphere shoots out 2-meters away. After 5 seconds, it nullifies all attacks in a set range and self-destructs. Everyone in range, Maple included, suffers immense damage from this. However, because Maple's main equipment has an autorepair function that makes it stronger every time it breaks, the "drawback" of requiring strong armor each time is negated and turned into an asset, guaranteeing that Machine God form gets stronger and stronger each time she decides to use it.
      • Better yet, she can mix these forms as well.
  • Maple's temple takes the form of her guild's base, and is also where she spawns upon login or revival.
  • Like every character who has a gaming avatar, her IRL appearance is her default, and she can change to Maple whenever she likes. Becuase she doesn't like getting hurt, she sticks to her NewWorld Online avatar for most of the day, reverting to Kaede automatically when she goes to sleep (not usually in bedtime since she "logs out" anyway), or manually when she needs to get somewhere fast (since her non-existent AGI means she's unable to run, but she can still be carried) and the area is mostly safe. She can also use Cover Move in the heat of battle to get around when friends are in sight.
    • Speaking of mobility, she's also once used Venom Capsulenote  to descend a cliff by encasing herself in one for safety. That said, given what it is, she doesn't recommend asking her to do the same to others unless they're also Poison-immune like her.
  • Has a pet turtle named Syrup that serves as her animal companion. Besides biting, he can Megamorph to giant size (with double HP) enough for Maple and a few others to ride on, Cover an adjacent party member from attacks (and get a +10% in VIT while doing so, fire a Spirit Cannon from his mouth, call upon the earth, vines, and trees to attack and defend with Mother Nature, and use Rampart to create breakable walls around a selected position for up to 30 seconds. When traveling long distances, Maple uses him as an airborne ride via his Megamorph and her Psychokinesis.
  • As stated among her equipment, Devour allows her to… well, devour an enemy and turn it to MP (and into a magic crystal on it if Maple's MP is full), though it's limited to 10 uses a day. This means any hostile entity, although the bigger it is, the smaller the portion of self it loses. For the record, Devour can consume an entire human-sized entity in one go, so that should tell you how big one should be to survive the ability.
  • While she is obscenely in her game world, the Pantheon is a far more "balanced" world with a lot more varied abilities, and so there are ways to get around her obscene defense. While her defense also comes with good anchoring, meaning knocking her back is really difficult with regular attacks, because of her low constitution (read: small body size), it's not impossible (though very strong attacks are required), and the anchoring doesn't apply for the ground she's on. Ensnaring traps can also work, at least to buy time as even without allies, her Predator devils can free her. Since her gear is mostly metallic, ferrokinetics can easily lift and toss her around, though her high VIT still means she can take plenty of a beating. Heck, telekinetics can do the same as well (as long as it's not magic, as her shield can Devour that should she choose). Because her game doesn't have such things, she has no resistance to status effects on the mind (like Berserk and Charm). And she's still susceptible to being rendered unconscious, especially from getting knocked around.
    • Also, most of her offense is focused around skills, so the only way to render her a sitting duck is to exhaust all of her trump cards, and have a way to to get around her absurd defense stat.
  • Having escorted her all the way back to her temple after the hearing with the Court of the Gods, Maple instantly made friends with Kirito and company as they talked about their respective games. Besides noting that both NWO and SAO have Final Fantasy II-esque progression systems (which are unbalanced and unfair), as well as their respective experiences and adventures, Maple was amazed that their games allowed for digital avatars different from their real body shapes, such as the tall and busty Leafa actually being the slightly shorter (yet still busty) Suguha, and the short speedy gunner LLENN being the really tall Karen.
    • As for the other reps of their series that she didn't see, despite being a very friendly person overall, she made her very first enemies with Nobuyuki Sugou; besides his plots for mass mind control and his rape of Asuna, his use of the pain limiters to torment Kirito was absolutely terrifying, especially given her aversion to getting hurt. And forget about Quinella, who is actually interested in Maple and her obscene defense and skillset.
  • After hearing of how she defeated the Sea King boss in her game to get through its regen, Cyan Garamonde made Maple take an oath not to use widespread water poisoning to defeat an enemy unless the situation is dire enough to necessitate it. It brings up too many bad memories of the loss of his kingdom Doma, and his recounting of it brought Maple to streaming tears enough to accept the oath.
  • Has weakness for special prizes, and will often participate in any event that showcases such rewards.
  • Is advised against provoking the Cuccos, because while they're incapable of harming Maple, they'll certainly be an annoyance to everyone else around her if she runs, they'll use up all of her Shield's Devour uses just trying to attack her, and they'll likely never stop even if she decides to laze off until someone else provokes them. And even if she does doze off, which would revert her from her game avatar, the resulting vulnerability would just wake her up from the pain and provoke a change into Maple again, putting the Cuccos' progress back to where they started. And that kind of impasse would be boring.

[up][up] As a shielder, i bet she would love studying under Reinhardt who is a knight in a futuristic setting and knows a thing or two about combat. Maybe she could learn how to fight from him. Same with Brigitte, who wouldn't mind tweaking her armor so she takes even less damage.

Begs the question, can she get stunned?

  • Opposed by:
  • Respected by:
  • After Queen Sheba was born during the First Armageddon that created the Trinity of Realities, she came to live in the hellish land of Inferno. Afterwards, the Demons of Inferno entered into an endless war with the Angels of Paradiso, who sought to release their ruler, Jubileus, from her endless slumber, which would reunite the Trinity of Realities and result in the complete destruction of the world.
  • In contrast to the rigid hierarchy of the Laguna, the Infernal Demons engage in constant and chaotic battles for supremacy, only willing to work together during their wars with the Angels of Paradiso. However, there are several known types of Demons of varying power: Infernal Gods, demonic deities who control aspects of reality such as time, the sun and death, Demon royalty, who rule over various locations in Inferno, and lesser demons, who typically appear in groups to overpower their enemies.
  • Over the centuries, two clans formed among humanity who worked hard to maintain the balance of the world's light and dark forces in order to ensure the just passage of time after Aesir granted them the Eyes of the World, with the Umbra Witches receiving the Left Eye of Darkness. The Demons would form contracts with the Witches, allowing them to be summoned in battle. However, if a Witch died, their soul would be taken to Inferno, where, according to Rodin, they are forced to "wander around scared shitless for eternity."
  • As a group:
    • The Infernal Demons ascended into the Pantheon as a response to the ascension of the Angels of Paradiso. In order to maintain the balance between light and darkness, as well as bolster the forces of the GUAC, Queen Sheba and Lucifer drew upon their respective powers and successfully managed to ascend the Demons of Inferno.
    • The Demons quickly started launching assaults against Jubileus, the Angels of Paradiso and Loptr, though their lack of organization and cooperation resulted in their first couple assaults being less effective than desired. While the Demons who've made pacts with Bayonetta and Jeanne have remained loyal to them, the rest are content to ignore them as long as they stay out of their way. Surprisingly, the Demons' constant war against the Angels has resulted in them generally being less of a problem around the Pantheon than expected.
    • Many of the Demons strongly dislike and fear the famed weaponsmith and fallen angel Rodin, who was feared as the most dangerous demon in the entire barren wasteland of Inferno until he disappeared and came to reside in the human world. The fact that Rodin regularly travels to Inferno in order to hunt down and kill various Demons with his bare hands and use their souls to craft his weapons has resulted in them occasionally attacking him, though Rodin himself regards these encounters as being amusing at best as well as good opportunities to acquire more souls.
    • Unsurprisingly, they generally dislike Father Balder due to him being a Lumen Sage. While the Demons who've made pacts with Bayonetta and Jeanne are willing to tolerate his presence and leave him alone, all the other Demons have no reluctance with attacking him, though Balder has proven to be perfectly capable of fighting them off with minimal difficulty.
    • Although they're ostensibly ruled over by Queen Sheba, she has a rather hands-off-approach to her title, seemingly content to let them do as they please and fight among themselves for supremacy. As a result, many of them ended up in the service of the other various Demon Lords throughout the Pantheon. While the main bulk of their forces were provided to Lucifer and the GUAC by Queen Sheba, numerous others ended up serving the likes of Dis, Mundus, The Beast, Sargeras, Fortinbras, Satan the Divine Judge, Satan who lost Paradise, Demise, Ganondorf, Ghirahim, Satan who haunts the Belmonts, Asmodeus, Diablo, Baal, Dul'Mephistos, Mephisto, Clown/The Violator, the Princes of Hell, the Devil of Inkwell Isles and even the Seven Mortal Sins.
    • Through their alliance with the GUAC, many of the Demons also came to serve the elite demon group known as the Ten Commandments. Hekatoncheir ended up bonding with Drole due to both of them being multi-armed demonic Giants.
    • They also became allies of sorts with the Cacodemons, Cyberdemons and Tyrants. Though they're from a different universe, they hold the same Social Darwinist views as the Infernal Demons, which resulted in them being able to seamlessly join them in their constant infighting as well as their wars against the Angels. However, this also further annoyed the Doom Slayer, who had been one of the first to engage the Infernal Demons after their ascension. Having fought his way through their temple, which looks like Inferno, on several occasions, the Demons quickly developed a habit of avoiding him whenever possible.
    • Being creatures of darkness with mostly evil members, they swiftly drew the attention of the Heartless, in whom they found kindred spirits. The Heartless are frequently used by the Demons as fodder in their wars against the Angels, often seen fighting side by side with Lesser Demons. However, the Demons generally don't like it when the Heartless start showing up inside their temple and typically destroy any invading Heartless whenever they encounter them.
    • Their conflict with Jubileus and the Angels quickly resulted in them opposing YHVH and the Grand United Alliance of Law, whom they regard as being no different from their mortal enemies. By extension they oppose all other angels in the Pantheon, regardless of their alignment, and thus became enemies with the Archangel Michael, the Seven Heavenly Virtues, Flonne, Artina, Jibril, Tyrael, Auriel, Malthael and Castiel.
    • Their dislike of Jubileus also extends towards other creator gods such as the Love that Moves the Stars, Eru Ilúvatar, Chakravartin, Chuck Shurley, The Alpha and Omega, God who hangs out with Bob, The One Above All and The Presence. However, they don't really pose much of a threat to them, much to their own frustration.
    • Many expected the Demons to side with Dharkon and Vaatu against their light counterparts, Galeem and Raava respectively. However, while many did indeed end up cooperating with Vaatu, they ended up opposing Darkhon due to the fact that they don't agree with his desire to destroy everything.
    • The Demons were quite alarmed to learn that the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda and the Umbra Witch Eva, who faced the amassed armies of Inferno in the past, were in the Pantheon. Recognizing their strength, they tend to keep their distance from them.
    • Aside from the Doom Slayer, they quickly drew the attention of other demon hunters such as Dante, Vergil, Nero, Spawn, Samanosuke Akechi, Yusuke Urameshi, Illidan Stormrage and the Winchester brothers. While Lesser Demons are generally treated as fodder, with many hunters being able to take them down with relative ease, stronger Demons tend to pose a much greater challenge, with only particularly strong hunters like Dante, Spawn and Illidan Stormrage being known to have taken down some of them on their own.
    • They've occasionally clashed with the Nephilim Horsemen War and Death, as they consider the existence of the hybrids to be a threat. However, since the Nephilim themselves ultimately desire to maintain balance and protect creation, the Demons don't currently regard them as their highest priority.
    • Unsurprisingly, pious humans are generally opposed to them, with Dante Alighieri and Jeanne d'Arc in particular having fought them on several occasions. Having famously traveled through all 9 circles of Inferno, Dante tends to draw a lot of enmity from them.
  • Applies to two or more:
    • Due to their resemblance to past enemies, Malphas, Scolopendra, Phantasmaraneae and Baal have all clashed with Dante and Nero on a number of occasions, though they're generally willing to leave Malphas, Baal and Phantasmaraneae alone, as the former two are still loyal to Bayonetta and the latter is generally benevolent and rarely encountered anyway.
    • Gomorrah and Labolas have both developed a rivalry with Cerberus, who is occasionally charged with guarding the entrance of their temple. Being very aggressive and highly territorial, Gomorrah regularly attacks Cerberus whenever they meet, whereas Labolas tends to be friendlier and even playful towards him instead.
    • The Little Devils are an infamous band of demon youth led by King Zero. By using the Infernal Communicator, one is able to temporarily contract the Little Devils, calling upon their power to attack one's foes. Being relatively benign Demons, they generally get along with other friendly skelletons such as Sans, Papyrus, Sir Daniel Fortesque, Jack Skellington and the Skull Knight.
  • Exclusive to Madama Butterfly:
    • A demon taking the form of a woman who left this world under unfortunate circumstances, only to be reincarnated in hell. Unlike her beautiful, swallowtail butterfly-like appearance, Madama Butterfly is particularly brutal, and her reputation is well known even amongst the denizens of Inferno.
    • Having once clashed with Temperantia, the Cardinal Virtue is very eager to settle the score, as their last battle culminated in one final blow that caused them both to unmanifest. Whenever their respective forces clash, the two can often be seen engaging in hand to hand combat.
  • Exclusive to Madama Styx:
    • Queen of the River Styx, the boundary between humanity and Hades. The moths born from the magical power that flows through her body are charged with luring the souls of sinners into Inferno.
    • She is on amicable terms with Hades and Charon, as the two ultimately require her permission to get souls across the River Styx into the Underworld. She notably doesn't really care much for when Hades becomes villainous, as long as he respects her sovereignty.
  • Exclusive to Malphas:
    • An enigmatic raven-black bird shrouded in the mysteries of the sky. Ever curious, Malphas has filled itself with all the world's knowledge and mysteries. However, this same curiosity has led to a rather brutal demeanor, causing the bird to tear those it encounters to shreds with its sharp beak and razor-like talons.
    • Having been responsible for killing Fortitudo by repeatedly pecking its face until it punched through Fortitudo's head and shattered the rock behind it, the two have continued their mutual enmity in the Pantheon, often fighting each other whenever their respective forces collide.
  • Exclusive to Hekatoncheir:
    • A giant endowed with six fearsome arms capable of pulverizing mountains, those unfortunate enough to fall underfoot of the demon are subject to days-long violent earthquakes. Lacking knowledge, but brimming with brutality, it is said that even the most powerful of conjurers should take heed of the danger this beast presents.
    • Due to having aided Bayonetta against Temperantia by pulling off the Cardinal Virtues' arms and pummeling him until his face was compressed into his body, Temperantia has continued to hold a grudge against him. While Hekatoncheir doesn't particularly care about Temperantia's grudge, the two nonetheless frequently clash with each other whenever their factions battle.
  • Exclusive to Scolopendra:
    • A vile centipede hailing from Frejetonta (Phlegethon), a river of boiling blood in the depths of Inferno, rumors speak of its body exceeding ten kilometers in length. Moving unlike anything its size, its deftness allows it to wrap around and constrict its prey in the blink of an eye.
    • Having previously fought against Iustitia in which it coiled around its body and squeezed it until the Cardinal Virtue was reduced to a bloody ball, the two have regularly been seen fighting one another on the battlefield during the wars between Inferno and Paradiso.
  • Exclusive to Phantasmaraneae:
    • Phantasmaraneae nests upon a sea of magma, deep within the furthest reaches of Inferno. Rarely seen upon the face of the Earth, even sightings of the demon in hell are a seldom event, leading to its name, which means phantom spider. While having the frightening appearance of a spider, it is a curious beast, and should one have the good fortune to encounter Phatasmaraneae, one should treat it with care and respect, in hope of receiving rare treasures and secrets in return.
    • When summoned by Bayonetta against Sapientia, Phantasmaraneae ended up ripping off his horns and part of his face, as well as trapping him on its web and letting its children tear his body to shreds. Although it prefers to stay in the depths of Inferno, Phantasmaraneae has occasionally ventured into battle alongside the other Demons, during which its usually seen fighting against Sapientia.
  • Exclusive to Madama Khepri:
    • A goddess of Inferno who controls time and the sun. It is said that she can determine a person's fate by gazing upon the long shadow that forms between their body and the light extending from the land of the dead. By binding a contract with Khepri and forfeiting their soul, one can gain an almost infinite knowledge of time and the secret technique to control it.
    • Having previously made a contract with the Umbra Witch Rosa, Bayonetta's mother, Madama Khepri was quite happy to reunite with her in the Pantheon and the two have since continued working together. Her pact with Rosa also resulted in her being on amicable terms with Rosa's husband, the Lumen Sage Balder, as well as the Umbra Witch Eva and the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda.
    • As a Demon Goddess of time and the sun, she's on relatively friendly terms with the other time and sun deities in the Pantheon such as Chronoa, Chronormu, Clockwork, Ra, Helios and Amaterasu. They were all initially wary of her due to her Demonic nature, but ultimately warmed up to her when she proved herself to be generally benevolent.
    • As the Protector of Time, she quickly came to oppose Caius Ballad and the Reverse-Flash, as the former destroyed the concept of time in his universe, while the latter is known for changing the timeline for the worse due to his pettiness.
  • Exclusive to Mictlantecuhtli:
    • A gigantic bat that lurks in one of the darkest and deepest of Inferno's endless caves. It is said to leave trails of the plague wherever it goes. The protrusion on its head is not an eye, but a spiritual sensory organ that can allow Mictlantecuhtli to access the world in far deeper ways than beings who must only rely on sight alone.
    • Due to having the same name as the Aztec god of death, Mictlantecuhtli managed to draw the attention of the Aztec gods Quetzalcoatl and Huehuecoyotl. Neither of them particularly like the demonic bat, as they believe that it gives their fellow god a bad name, which he's already prone to unfairly receiving.
  • Exclusive to Hydra:
    • A once beautiful maiden who was banished to hell for the sins of her younger sister and mutilated into a snakelike monster with seven heads. Her human heart has long since been lost, and she viciously attacks anything she deems an enemy. Those trapped by her seven heads must suffer slow, painful deaths. Out of her many heads, only one is real; slicing off any of the others will not amount to much more than a scratch.
    • She's developed a fierce rivalry with the Lernaean Hydra, who is similarly a creature with multiple heads that it's capable of regrowing. However, their fights usually end in a draw as they tend to just keep cutting off each others' heads until someone comes along to separate them.
  • Exclusive to Diomedes:
    • Diomedes was one of the four flesh-eating mares that belonged to Diomedes of Thrace, their unnatural was believed to have been the cause of their madness, and some stories say that the mares also expelled fire when they breathed. As the eighth of his Twelve Labours, Hercules was sent by King Eurystheus to steal the Mares from Diomedes. In all versions of the story, Diomedes was eventually fed to his own horses, which calmed them down and gave Hercules the opportunity to bind their mouths shut and easily take them back to King Eurystheus.
    • Eventually, the horses were murdered and arrived in hell. Of the four, the soul of one inherited the name of their former owner and was reborn as a demon. The large blade extending from its forehead is a soul reaper that leaves a trail of mutilated dead in whatever direction it runs. Though it typically hates being treated like a horse, it tolerates those who have proven themselves worthy.
    • Upon learning of his identity, both Hercules and Alexander the Great showed great respect and awe for his strength and power. Hercules' ability to subdue Diomedes has resulted in him becoming one of the few that the horse allows to ride. Alexander has favorably compared him to his own horse, Bucephalus, who is said to be a descendant of the four mares.
    • After being given to King Eurystheus, he dedicated the horses to Hera and, according to some versions, ordered the horses taken to Olympus to be sacrificed to Zeus. However, Zeus refused them, and sent wolves, lions, and bears to kill them. As a result, Diomedes is loyal to Hera but has a strong dislike of Zeus, which Hera finds very amusing.
  • Exclusive to Carnage:
    • Carnage are a type of savage, poisonous bugs that nest in the cursed arrows of the bows "Kafka" and "Samsa". Pulling a string of force and releasing it vigorously, they jump at high speed and eat their target. Although they die quickly, their bodies are composed of various kinds of poisons and bacteria, allowing them to take away the lives of thousands of people even in a short period of time.
    • Several swarms of Carnage quickly became subservient to Megaguirus and are regularly seen flying alongside the Meganulons doing her her bidding and wreaking havoc around the Pantheon. However, this also resulted in them becoming enemies with Rodan, who has eaten several of them during their encounters and has proven resistant to their poisons.
    • In order to keep them under control, Shino Aburame, Agitha and Sig are often dispatched to deal with Carnage whenever they're causing trouble. The insect-lovers proved capable of controlling them, at least to an extent, and usually just guide them back to their temple in order to avoid harming them or anyone else. Shino in particular has expressed an interest in taming them, though his efforts have, thus far, been unsuccessful.
  • Exclusive to Insidious:
    • A hellish ark that, while seemingly leading sinners to the Garden of Eternal Pleasures at the end of the world, was in actuality abducting them to compete in a massive bloodbath. The souls who boarded Insidious are led nowhere. Surrounded by the stench of death and rotten flesh, they massacred each other, struggling over whatever morsels of food to be come across. With a unique organ in its body that converts death into demonic energy, Insidious always carries a tremendous amount of power. A myriad of hell's creature's live within its gut, making him useful as an assault ship during wars with Paradiso. If swallowed by Insidious, the only way to escape is to stand atop a tower of corpses and wait for him to open his jaw while he engorges with his next feeding. However, those who take pleasure in killing may find their true Garden of Eternal Pleasure within this demon's bowels.
    • When not serving as an assault ship in the wars with Angels, Insidious can occasionally be spotted ominously flying through the Pantheon, looking for its next meal. It eventually formed a rivalry with the similarly omnivorous Monstro, and the two have occasionally engaged in bizarre battles during which they both tried to consume each other.
    • Due to its resemblance to Monstro, it quickly became enemies with those who had previously been eaten by him, such as Sora, Donald, Goofy and Riku.
  • Exclusive to Alraune:
    • A woman who doused herself in mandrake poison and took her own life as a means of getting revenge on the husband who left her. The poison continued through her skin and devoured her soul. Consumed by hallucinations, she was at last reincarnated in Inferno. Myth places her as the young daughter of a noble estate, but none of her past visage can be determined from her current demon form. She searches the bottom of hell for the most exquisite souls, then injects poison into their nerves to make them eternal "lovers" at her palace. Insatiable desire and obsession have painted her heart so thickly that she will never know peace. Not even with the sacrifices of a thousand souls, or a million...
    • After Jeanne died and went to Inferno, Alraune managed to capture Jeanne's soul to leech off of her power. She fought against Bayonetta and Madama Butterfly, whom she possessed a fierce rivalry and hatred for, when they tresspassed into her territory to rescue Jeanne. After being defeated, her soul was sealed inside the whip Alrune by Rodin, who then gave it to Bayonetta.
    • Desiring revenge against Madama Butterfly, Bayonetta and Rodin, Alraune has managed to form an alliance with Poison Ivy, Durathror and Audrey II, who similarly have the power to control plants. However, Alraune regards them merely as means to an end, and plans to take their souls when she no longer considers them useful.

Anything left to suggest and fix for Buck or does he look good to go?

Buck, God of Stray Animal Stories

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/buckk.jpg
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: Himself
  • Theme Music: The Call of the Wild
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Heroic Dog, A Pet into the Wild, Canadian Western
  • Domains: Dogs, Survival
  • Allies: Dogmeat, Balto, Rowf & Snitter, Hazel, Pocahontas, Eliza Thornberry
  • Enemies: Cruella De Vil, Fred C. Dobbs, Flintheart Glomgold
  • On good terms with: Snoopy, Moro
  • The Klondike Gold Rush in Yukon, Canada during the late 1890’s was quite a time for everyone involved. Buck is a mixed breed dog who gets sold off to Canada to become a sled dog and is forced to endure a harsh world full of danger and uncaring humans, with his wild animal instincts slowly growing inside him. Along the way, he encounters John Thornton, an outdoorsman who Buck takes a liking towards. Once Thornton dies, Buck avenges his death and with no remaining humans to properly interact with, Buck ultimately answers the call of the wild and becomes the leader of a wolf pack.
  • Buck had already been used to his time in the wild, though many of his memories from prior continued to stick with him. One night, the stars shone brighter than before as Buck was getting ready to sleep after another day had passed. Buck noticed some lights from afar before he closed his eyes and the following day, he noticed some buildings in a small town that wasn’t there before, seemingly the source of the lights from the night prior. It turned out that his home was closer to the Pantheon than Buck had realized (even if he had no idea of what the Pantheon even was beforehand), with plenty of adventures waiting to come to him well into his time as a wild animal.
  • While Buck has opted to continue living in the wilderness even after learning that it’s a part of the Pantheon, there are plenty of kind-hearted humans with a personality akin to Thornton’s that are willing to befriend him. Among them were Eliza Thornberry, a girl that has traveled through jungles and made friends with animals by directly communicating with them. One of her expeditions with her family led to a frozen landscape and it was there that she encountered Buck and his wolfpack. From there, she learned about what Buck had gone through prior to adapting to the wild and since then, Eliza and Buck developed a friendship with each other.
  • One group of canines who Buck was able to relate to very well were the Dogmeats. Even if the circumstances and time period that the Dogmeats had to go through was much worse than Buck, what didn’t change is their unflinching loyalty to their masters and how they’ll protect them from any danger that lurks. The Dogmeats occasionally travel with Buck across the frozen wilderness that the latter resides in though Buck has only gotten brief glimpses of the barren wasteland that the Dogmeats traverse across.
  • Balto was one dog that quickly became interested in Buck after hearing about how another sled-dog traversed through a dangerous frozen landscape. There is a noticeable contrast between the two as while Buck was formerly a pet that cared about a human and later became a wild animal, Balto wanted to be accepted by humans in spite of being a wolfdog. While Balto has had experience with living in the wild, Buck is usually the one to aid Balto whenever they’re attacked. Their determination and strong bond with someone they cared about being a motivator for accomplishing their goals helped strengthen the friendship between Buck and Balto.
  • Things are a bit unusual between Snoopy and Buck as far as how things are between them. It could be chalked up to Snoopy having a nightmare at one point that he was part of a group of sled dogs similar to Buck that resulted in him regaining his animal instincts and ended with him and the other sled dogs drowning in frozen water. That said, Buck considered John Thornton to be a valuable companion the same way that Snoopy sees Charlie Brown as a good friend, something that both dogs can understand. While Snoopy does have quite an imagination and the idea of meeting an actual sled dog that went through plenty of trouble was unnerving for Snoopy given the nightmare, there’s no hostility between him and Buck otherwise.
  • Moro, being a wolf that’s very much aligned with nature, finds Buck’s story to be unusual given how the latter started off as a domesticated animal that was abused by some humans and later came to hold his final human master in high regard before embracing his animal instincts. Moro later found Buck during a cold winter day, telling him about the forest she and the rest of the denizens there protect and Buck finding her to be a potent leader of her own pack and one with more authority than he couldn’t surpass. She has some respect for Buck for embracing his animal heritage in a time where humans are prone to vices, while still acknowledging how Thornton was a benevolent human who bonded with Buck akin to how Ashitaka came to understand San, a woman who was one with nature and animals.
  • Throughout his journey and especially before meeting John Thornton, Buck had to put up with people who abused him and the other sled dogs. The fact that there are just as plenty of people in the Pantheon who like to abuse animals (dogs especially) as those who are fond of canines, didn’t go over well with him. Worse yet is that there are deities such as Cruella De Vil who are actively trying to kill dogs for their own personal treasure. If Cruella were to end up trying to find a wild dog like Buck to make a coat out of it, then Buck is willing to scare her out of doing it.
  • Given the time period of Buck’s adventures and how he traveled with people who are seeking gold, it didn’t take long for others who have a strong desire for that treasure to try and force Buck to work with them. While the money-seeking, but still friendly deities haven’t put Buck in even worse danger, there are those such as Fred C. Dobbs and Flintheart Glomgold, greedy deities who are willing to leave others for dead after they’ve used them to earn gold, who are willing to seek out gold in Buck’s location. They haven’t been successful in forcing Buck to work with them given how the canine and his pack have driven them out repeatedly and how Buck doesn’t want to be associated with abusive masters anymore.
  • Rowf and Snitter had a rather unusual meeting with Buck as the two were trying to evade someone determined to capture them. The two learned about what Buck had gone through, especially in regards to having some earlier abusive masters and one kind-hearted human who Buck would later avenge. Snitter seems to understand Buck’s ordeal rather well considering the variety of humans the latter had encountered, though Rowf was a bit skeptical about Buck having a good relationship with a human considering the dangers Thornton had encountered and getting killed by what Rowf perceived to be as savages. Buck found what Rowf and Snitter had to go through to be even more extreme than his own abuse and was willing to let the two travel with him and his pack.
  • What ultimately drove Buck into being a part of the wild was avenging Thornton’s death via attacking The Yeehats, a Native American tribe. This incident was something Buck wouldn’t forget and the fact that some Native Americans were in the Pantheon, some possibly within the area Buck and his wolfpack roam, was something that Buck wasn’t happy with. Unlike the presumably hostile Yeehats, some of the Native Americans in the Pantheon had a far more friendly disposition than what Buck came to expect. Pocahontas, being someone who revered nature and has a few animal companions of her own, came across Buck while she was traveling during a cold day. While Buck initially was hostile towards her, she only had empathy and could understand the pain that he had gone through prior. Eventually, Buck warmed up to her and both have been on good terms with each other since then.
  • Hazel, who escaped from her original home in search of a better place, finds Buck’s adventures to be relatable considering how he was torn between wanting to be a part of the wild and wanting to live with Thornton. In turn, Buck considers him to be an effective leader of the pack of rabbits that traveled with Hazel. Whenever Hazel and his rabbits are near Buck’s domain, the canine and his pack will help them out, especially when it comes to protecting them from others looking to hunt them down.

Here are my profiles for Epona and Susie.

Epona, Goddess of Cool Horses
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/epona_twilight_princess.png
  • Potential House: Ungulates
  • Symbol: An outline of her head, imposed behind the Crest of Hyrule
  • Theme Song: Epona's Song, Lon Lon Ranch
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Heroic Horsemanship, Rearing Horse, Cool Horse, Invulnerable Horses, Loyal Animal Companion
  • Domains: Horses, Speed, Mounts
  • Rider: Link
  • Allies: Princess Zelda, Midna, Fi, Skull Kid, Pit, The Farmer, Maximus, Black Beauty, Spirit
  • Enemies: Ganondorf, Majora, Zant
  • Epona, Link’s longtime steed in the fight against evil. Though not alongside all of his incarnations, where Epona is present she is a stalwart and loyal ally and friend to Link.
  • While no one knows exactly how she got there, Epona first arrived in the Pantheon when Link absentmindedly played her song on his Ocarina. As the clear notes rang out, a distinctive whinny could be heard as Epona ran up to Link, overjoyed to see his loyal steed and longtime friend. She currently lives in the House of Ungulates, ready to help her master whenever he calls her with the Ocarina.
  • Midna, having had met Epona personally, was happy to see her back at Link’s side, and the feeling was reciprocated. Fi, though she hadn’t met Epona before, was pleased to do so, remarking,
"This lifeform bears a strikingly similar aura to the Crimson Loftwing. Its presence and assistance provided to Master Link is appreciated."
  • Zelda, similarly, was happy to see the steed that was responsible for so many of her rescues, especially after her time riding alongside her with her own royal stallion.
  • One deity distinctly not happy to see Epona was the Dark Lord Gandorf himself, especially after she played an instrumental role in the final battle against his Calamity Ganon form. While he has made several attempts to destroy her in the Pantheon, she always seems to emerge unscathed...
  • Still holds a strong hatred for Majora after its cruel treatment of her in Termina (even when this led to her encountering an Expy of her original caretaker). Majora, similarly, despises "that stupid horse of his," and was very upset to see her recognized for anything.
    • She has, however, since forgiven Skull Kid after learning the full story.
  • Warmed up to Pit quickly, who he had learned a bit of an affinity for horses when he learned to man the Lightning Chariot. Pit was just happy to meet such a legendary figure, and they remain friends.

Susanna Patrya Haltmann, Goddess of Technologically Advanced Foes (Susie, Secretary Susie, Suzan'na Famiria Harutoman)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/susie_kirby.png
  • Potential Houses: Technological Experts and Villainous Archetypes
  • Rank: Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol:Haltmann Works Company Logo
  • Theme Song: The Noble Haltmann
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Pink Haired Affably Evil Girl, Beleaguered Assistant, The Starscream, Has a Tragic Keepsake, Helps Kirby stop Star Dream since there's no profit to be made at all if the universe is destroyed, Revealed to be the daughter of President Haltmann, Calling Parents by Their Name
  • Domains: Technology, Family, Corporations
  • Allies:
  • Rivals: Magolor
  • Enemies: Void Termina, Star Dream,
  • Susie is the secretary of Haltmann, president of the Haltmann Works Company seeking to mechanize Planet Popstar for the sake of profit. Throughout the mechanization, Susie fights against Kirby, siccing the company's most dangerous machines on him. She eventually betrays Haltmann himself and steals the controller for Star Dream itself, intending to sell it for profit and teach Haltmann a "thing or two" (or in Japanese "wake him up"), only for it backfire when the machine absorbs Haltmann's mind, deletes it, and plans to destroy all organic life since it sees no profit in it. Susie helps Kirby put a stop a stop to Star Dream, and although it remains ambiguous if she has reformed (Either still to mechanize planets or trying to bring happiness with science), she is still on good terms with Kirby as a friend or foe.
  • It's revealed later that Susie is actually Haltmann's daughter, who disappeared into Another Dimension. Haltmann attempted to use Star Dream to get her back, but the machine wiped out his memories in the process. Haltmann no longer recognized Susie by the time he hired her as a secretary based on what little fondness he had for her. This in hindsight seems to explain Susie's motives for turning against Haltmann, likely wanting him to remember her as his daughter. Countless deities, especially those who lost a father (such as Simba, Harry, etc), felt incredible sympathy for her, and admitted that they would have tried to help Susie reunite with her father properly.
  • One day Susie came into the Pantheon, and since she had nowhere else to go, decided to make herself a new home for the time being until she's ready to start business again. She also has a friendly reunion with a surprised Kirby, who wasn't expecting her to make her arrival, and after the Court of the Gods reviewed her case, decided make her the Goddess of Technologically Advanced Foes. Susie is quite proud of her title and position, and hopes to use it to her advantage.
    • While Susie normally acts as an enemy against Kirby, there is no malice in it at all. She seems to like and respect Kirby as a foe, and will even team up with him against a dangerous opponent, as was the case with Star Dream and Void Termina.
    • Meta Knight on the other hand, outright dreads Susie, since she robotized him and used him as a unwilling soldier. While he doesn't show it, Susie serves as a living Trauma Button for him. The few times they do work together are Teeth-Clenched Teamwork on his part, since he can't really forget what she put him through.

I'll get to setting up Artificial Beings. What else should I add to the Flood?

The Flood, Divine Collective Of Evil Water

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/article_1227351_0733c3e7000005dc_536_468x508.jpg
A host of the Flood infection.
  • Adopted from: Super WIKI 1
  • House: House of Nature
  • Rank: Varies depending on host (individual microbes are Quasideities, potential for Greater God-level infestation)
  • Symbol: The cracked skin and wet mouths of their victims
  • Theme Song: Fighting The Flood
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: A Deadly Infection Spread By Water, Demonic Possession, The Juggernaut, What They Do To Their Host's Face, Imprisoned In Ice Long Ago, Parasite Zombie
  • Domains: Viruses, Infections, Water, Possession
  • Interests: Babidi, Albert Wesker
  • Covets: The House of Water and Moisture
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Nurgle, Typhus, The Grox
  • Rivals: The Thing, The Pod People, The Flood(Halo), Phazon, The Vex
  • Enemies: Pretty much any being with water as part of their composition. High on the list are The Doctor, The SCP Foundation, The Men in Black, the House of Water and Moisture, The Imperium of Mankind, Zim, anyone from or associated with Mars like J'onn J'onnz, Marvin the Martians, The Mars People, The Martians (Mars Attacks), Amy Wong and Rei Hino, Ellen Ripley, those who've survived a zombie apocalypse like Rick Grimes, The Weather Trio, Percy Jackson, Rain, Chaos, Samus Aran, Rasputin Aquato
  • Dreads: The House of Ice and Cold
  • Long ago on Mars, the Ice Warriors had to contend with a viral outbreak that spreads via water. Known as the Flood, it turns its victims into a skin-cracked, zombie-like that spreads water and thus its infection. Imprisoned through being frozen in a glacier, the Flood was later released in the mid-21st century by human astronauts trying to get water for their base. And how they stopped it was a tragedy.
  • The Doctor dreaded them, in part because they remind him of one of his worst moments; the 10th Doctor breaking the laws of time and declaring himself Time Lord Victorious, all in a desperate need to stop the fixed point that was the death of the Bowie Base One crew. Captain Adelaine's suicide was what eventually snapped him out of it. The Flood barely speak, so fortunately they weren't in the mood. Instead, they were intrigued at what the House of Time And Space could do for spreading their infection.
  • The Flood desire to infest in anything water-related, so they count virtually all biological life as potential hosts. As such, they lack any real allies in the Trope Pantheon. Hearing they'd broken into the pantheon immediately set the House of Water and Moisture into panic mode, and has set up the strongest water filters around their temple. The Flood's first goal is to take control of the sub-house, and can only imagine what they might achieve hijacking Percy Jackson, Rain and Chaos. They would love to take control of Kyogre's god-like power over the rain. This worries all three members of the Weather Trio, though for obvious reasons it's Groudon who the Flood is most concerned over.
  • Because of how easy it could be spread, a number of gods have issued quarantines and warning systems while also developing an anti-microbial agent to fight off the Flood. The SCP Foundation have worked hard with the Men in Black to isolate the Flood. Death Is Cheap in the pantheon, but coming back from The Virus, not so much. Both the Imperium of Mankind and Ellen Ripley are trying to exterminate the virus that is the Flood.
  • Considered the biggest problem for its home of Mars. Good, evil or somewhere in between, Martians all over want to purge the infection from the universe. Well the Martians from Mars Attacks and Mars People initially considered weaponizing the Flood against the Earth, but that just gave the Flood more hosts. Many dread what might happen if they manage to infect the Martian Manhunter, assuming he can't just fight it off.
  • The Vex's presence on Mars, and having an infectious element through contact with their radiolarian fluid (something their technology shares) make them competition for the Flood. However they remain unconcerned with the Flood as they operate on a grander scale, being able to fully mechanize entire planets and having the ultimate goal of subverting all of existence. In fact, they've already succeeded many times before their universe's inception, and it only started to change when the powers of Light and Dark stepped in to fight each other.
  • Though they have no true allies, the Flood will work out of convenience with the Grox. The deal is that they may be spread by the Grox to habitable and watery worlds in exchange for running some errands, and as the Grox normally don't live off water this was tolerate. Normally being the key word; a few Grox worlds have liquid water, it's just the atmospheric pressure is too much for most life to handle. So there is potential for the Flood being problematic, it's just low on their list.
  • Because of their virulent spread, Albert Wesker wants to experiment on the Flood to create an agent passive to his will as part of his plans of domination. He's generally interested in their capabilities too. Babidi also wanted to use the Flood to control people, thinking he could get past the "strong-willed and/or pure-hearted are immune to his mind control" rule by using it on the Flood and then letting it spread for domination. For now their biology proves too alien for him to affect, and just like last time will undoubtedly learn that Evil Is Not a Toy.
  • They shouldn't be mistaken for the more well-known Flood infection, though they understand why people do given they're both dangerous parasite zombies. The Gravemind boasts superiority while also wondering if they're some mutation of the Flood, while the more literal Flood consider their namesake serious competition in terms of spreading themselves.
  • The Flood have also found themselves competing directly with the Pod People and the Thing in hopes of replacing/infecting people and finding human hosts. Well, it's not an infection in the Pod People's case, but the danger is similar enough that most people get why the two are rivals. Nobody knows what might happen if the Thing and the Flood infect each other, and nobody wants to know. The Flood boasts that it can deal with fire much easier, given its hosts can expel water as an attack. The Flood has also recognized they're similar to Phazon in its desire to spread and infect everything it can.
  • Though not a disease strictly speaking, the Flood's nature as a virulent infection makes them something Nurgle is proud of, and some even suspect they originated because the Great Unclean One contaminated Mars' water supply in a new way. The Flood appreciate this, however consider his pathogens and plagues potential competition. For now, they agree to work together to infect everything, then fight over who wins at the end.
  • Stays far away from the House of Ice and Cold, given how they were imprisoned in a glacier and can't be active in ice. Zim, being hurt by water, was extremely paranoid about the Flood. They've informed him that they have no interest in his Earth however, since the water there hurts him because it's polluted.

@Nightelf

Naofumi Iwatani and Captain America also mainly fight with shields. Other VR players include Shiroe, Akatsuki, and Kite. Given comparisons to Mash Kyrielight, maybe an interaction with the Master of Chaldea.

@Mattman

Lucas and the Masked Man had their home invaded and mechanized by Porky because he was bored, so I think they wouldn't like her.

Put Epona's rank in her profile.

So appearently Gaea doesn't have a theme song, which is kinda odd. Does Gaia sound good to y'all or should it just be the Earth Day International Anthem?

Anyhow, should I still keep the two from The Star Wars for What Could Have Been due to people here complaining about Star Wars oversaturation? I wondered if I should just put it off for now but either I do it too early and get everyone riled or do it late and stick out like a sore thumb?

@Wikia Worth pointing out that many theorize Dharkon used to be one of the Demons given how he resembles the demons from Bayonetta but apparently has no ties with them (He also if i'm not mistaken has Queen Sheba imprisoned)

But besides that they are fine [tup]

@Lock I can see Buck being a sort of big brother figure to the Nintendogs. Not only that, the puppies have a tendency to get lost if their owner stops paying them attention and often escape the temple and Buck usually is the one to take care of them and guide them back to the temple safely. I was also going to mention how in the latest movie he is a CGI dog but that hardly matters. [tup] after that's added.

@Susie I can see her being at odds with omnic extremist group Null Sector, who would probably try take over one of Haltmann's facilities to mass produce units and invade more temples. I know she isn't exactly a good guy but Killer Robots wouldn't be helpful to her would they?

@RJ I wonder if the Flood would affect the Sea King in any way, since he gets stronger if he comes in contact with water. If they manage to take control over him who knows what chaos they could cause.

[up] I personally don't have trouble with them. I hardly care about Bagan anyway.

@ Wikia: Minor nitpick. I think if alternate names and such gets to a certain length of being too long I think they should be condensed into individual footnotes. Like with the Frontier Digidestined, for example. But other than that [tup]

@ nightelf: Obligatory mention of Sundowner, mainly because for his astute observation of being "FUCKING INVINCIBLE!" stemming from his use of explosive armor.

@ Mattman: Surprised you didn't list the various programmers tasked with restoring Iris.EXE as allies beyond her series already. As for Susie, she could interact with The Corpus.

Still waiting for some word on my Rock of Ages idea. I personally don't really have a preference on which to work on, just want some actual clarification going forward. What people would prefer that seems right, etc.

Annikin and General Skywalker respectively.
  • Intermediate Gods
  • Symbol: The Flag of the Great Jedi Rebellion
  • Alignment: Lawful Good (Skywalker), Neutral Good (Annikkin)
  • Portfolio: Bizarro Universe, George Lucas Throwback, Composite Character
  • Domains: Production, Warfare, Religion
  • High Priest: Tanton
  • Herald: Leia Antilles
  • Superior: George Lucas
  • Allies: All good-aligned Star Wars deities, all good-aligned Star Trek deities, Amuro Ray, Team Lightyear, Phineas and Ferb
  • Rivals: Darth Maul (Annikkin), Jaime Lannister (Skywalker)
  • Enemies: Sheev Palpatine, Count Dooku, Darth Nihilus, Xehanort, Frieza, King Cold, Sauron, IT (A Wrinkle in Time), Khan Noonien Singh, Melkor, Darkseid, Gihren Zabi
  • Conflicting Opinion: Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader
  • In an Alternate Universe where George Lucas did not edit the rough draft of the A New Hope, the galaxy that is far, far away supposedly looked a lot different than everyone would knows it as. First off, everybody had a lightsaber, red ones at that. Jedi were the Jedi-Bendu, royal guards for the emperor until they were hunted down by the new one. All tech looked a lot more shiny than usual. People rode ostrich aliens as horses. And Palpatine looked a lot more less ugly. All of this a far cry of the universe that we all know and love. But a What If? scenario occurred if this supposed universe was made. Representing all things that could have been but didn’t make the cut, Annikkin Starkiller and General Luke Skywalker ascended to the Pantheon.
  • Their presence caused much confusion, none more confused than themselves. What do you mean there is already a Luke Skywalker and Anakin? Han Solo isn’t human! He’s supposed to be a green alien from what they know. Lots of questions ran through their heads especially after meeting the actual people who participated in the actually Star Wars. Upon seeing that despite the strange differences between them, they realized they are Not So Different, sharing the same enemies and ideals for peace. So Annikin and General Skywalker have decided to do what they believe is just and fight alongside the Jedi against the Sith.
  • If it isn’t obvious enough, they are a strange pariah in the Pantheon. They don’t even have The Force everyone traditionally knows of (they call it the Force of Others, which doesn’t give them powers). They make up for it by being very skilled warriors in their own right to the point they make up their lack of Force powers with whole new ones like making a freaking after-image after running so fast. There’s probably more powers hiding behind them but they aren’t showing them anytime soon.
  • Considering that they had to face The Empire, they don’t mesh well with other tyrannical figures, not just the old guy who shoots lightning. Due to these conflicts, they have allied themselves with the GUAG.
  • It’s really hard to get a read on these two without repeating the same points that their counterparts have. Annikkin is obviously what Luke Skywalker would be while the General Skywalker is Obi-Wan if he was still leading a military force.
  • Hoo boy, their feelings against Darth Vader or Anakin Skywalker if you’d prefer are very much spiteful to say the least. The Darth Vader they knew was a Complete Monster who’d kill anyone who stands with his way with ruthlessness that surpassed even the Emperor’s. They do not trust the Darth Vader here for these very reasons even if he did reform, not thinking that all of the goodness he’s trying to do now makes up for all the slaughtering Vader has done in his time serving as an Imperial.
  • Exclusive to General Skywalker:
    • Being the Jedi-Bendu master of Annikkin, Skywalker is drawn to military leaders who fight for the good of others. Notable is allies with Commander Shepard, Bright Noa, and Cornelia vi Brittania (after she grew a conscious for the welfare of the people). They notable convene together in hopes of sharing inspiration for the good fight ahead of them.
    • Regarded as the second-best Jedi, only bested by Kane Starkiller, Annikkin’s father who is a Cyborg. He has at lot more experience in warfare than even most Jedi as Jedi-Bendu were famous for being bodyguards to the prior emperors before being branded as fugitives. Skywalker won’t take a command post, tired of war by this point and wanting to play peacekeeper. Though if the situation should arise, he’s more than happy to go back into battle for innocents’ sake.
    • Would like to be regarded as General Skywalker, as to not confuse anyone with the Luke Skywalker everyone knows of. Speaking of which, Luke wonders if the general is what he would have become if the war against Palpatine still continued or worse, if he had not sent himself into exile to fight against the First Order.
    • Has nothing good to say about Gihren Zabi for his Colony Drop on Earth. Gihren would like to point out that like the Jedi-Bendu, the spacenoids are fighting for freedom themselves as well against The Federation that does not recognize them. Skywalker pointed out it stopped being about a war for freedom when he put civilians in the crossfire. He summed it up as a Full-Circle Revolution where Zeon can impose a system of oppression under the guise of the betterment of spacenoids.
    • Considering that he is fighting against what the Jedi-Bendu were supposed to protect, he finds a bit of fair ground with Jaime Lannister who had taken down the tyrant that was his king. While Skywalker won’t overlook Jaime’s actions to call himself a friend, they do get into good sparring matches now and again for the sake of it.
  • Exclusive to Annikkin Starkiller:
    • Annikkin is the son of the aforementioned strongest Jedi-Bendu, Kane Starkiller and is the Padawan of Skywalker. Being a rookie when it comes to fighting, Annikkin displayed natural talent when it comes to combat, surely getting stronger in due time. He is willing to help anyone being oppressed by evil forces, whether he thinks it through or not.
    • Finds kinship with other rookies who shave more or less an inexperienced worldview. Tries to learn from them as well to apply lessons to his daily training.
    • Sees Kamen Rider Gaim a real Hope Bringer that perhaps Annikkin should take his lessons from. Kouta is flattered, though really implores Annikkin to look for other teachers besides him.
    • Has also commonality with Flynn of all people. He had once tried dueling with the samurai, but lost almost instantly. Annikkin looks up to Flynn now and hopes that perhaps he can learn the ways of the samurai, which is much similar to that of the Jedi-Bendu.
    • Yes, he pretty much shares the name with the one who killed his brother, just spelled much more complexly. Annikkin finds it disturbing that Anakin in his youth acted much like his younger brother. He tries to forget it, clouding these thoughts with disdain for Vader.
    • Managed to get into a rivalry with Maul over if the Sith could see if the Jedi-Bendu could match against his power. Thanks to being inexperience, Annikkin lost and the youth wants to face Maul yet again to reclaim victory. If only he can find Maul first...

  • Jean-Baptiste Augustin was one of millions who were caught in the omnic crisis, orphaned at a very young age. Those conditions made him adopt the Social Darwinist philosophy of taking care of your friends and killing everyone who got in his way. After the war was over, he struggled to find a normal occupation and so joined Talon, believing they would provide him, and indeed they did. But the increasing brutality and shady work he had to deal with on a regular basis took a toll and ultimately he decided to defect, realizing that his philosophy was just a poor excuse he made that only caused an endless cycle of violence and went against his desire to help people. But Talon would not let him go and so Baptiste had to take care of Talon's agents sent after him. Once they were dealt with, he decided that he would atone for his actions and help those in need.
  • The position of a deity is something he never expected to get, especially concerning his equipment. For a while the GUAG has been looking for a Combat Medic that could aid the warriors on good in combat and Baptiste was handpicked for it. To justify his ascension, it was brought up about the Immortality Field device, a gadget that allows anyone within a radius to survive fatal damage. He personally designed the thing and it saved him numerous times from a pinch so he was glad that his creation allowed him to enter the Pantheon.
  • It's only natural that the ascended Talon members would want Baptiste dead and they have tried to capture him but he's a resourceful individual and managed to evade them. He has a few friends inside believe it or not, Sombra being one of them and the one that tends to inform him of whatever Talon is up to as well as helping him on other stuff. There was also a Heavy Assault Unit by the name of Mauga who was really close with him during missions and even let him go the fateful day he defected but Mauga is also tired of this game of cat and mouse and wouldn't hesitate to shoot at his comrade.

  • Scott Cawthon was once an obscure computer game designer that no one relatively knew about in particular. At least that was the case until one day he created a construction and management game called Chipper & Sons Lumber Co.. However, the game was harshly criticized, as the characters' stiff movements were likened to unnerving animatronic creatures. Distraught, he fell into a depression until he decided to make one last game before calling it quits for good. This is that game that introduced everyone to their new nightmares and made people never look at Chuck E. Cheese the same way again. The rest, as they say, was history.
  • Considered to be one of the most enigmatic characters of the Pantheon. He constantly throws out hints and clues to his fanbase as they to figure out the complete lore of his world. Even after his initial tale was complete, people are still trying to look into the pieces he left behind. It was decided that no one was better at making his fans tick than Scott.
  • Didn't invent the idea of Hostile Animatronics, but popularized them as the Fazbear gang are the most well-known examples. He liked the idea of .GIFfany, however insists she has nothing to do with the Yandere Chica anime scenes in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator. Mordecai and Rigby have also dealt with Hostile Animatronics before
  • It should be noted that Scott is Christian and is very religious (the man did Christian games once upon a time). He insists that he is not a real god, and is simply happy with being acknowledged for his work. He regularly visits the St. Katherine's Parish to see the nun's performances. Thanks to his humble beginnings Scott became an inspiration to other amateur game developers hoping to create the next big sensation. He even has a few fans in the Pantheon who were in awe of his work.
  • Given how terrifying his works are, there are a few people who don't really like him. Several gods reportedly had nightmares of his minions chasing after them. One game review named Jirard even stated that he had to visit a psychiatrist regularly after reviewing five of his games due to his stress anxiety and absolutely refused to look at his sixth one.
  • Respected by members of the House of Fear, particularly Spooky. Freddy Krueger approves of how he brings out nightmares and the way he kills kids in his games, and Jonathan Crane finds the terror of his games intriguing. Scott would rather keep his distance from them in person.
  • Because of his teasing nature, he gets along well with Andrew Hussie and George R.R. Martin. Though he disagrees with George's habit of killing fan favorites just to shock and break fans. It's because of his strange nature that he's looked on by the likes of the Question, Luna, the Pine Twins, and Mystery Inc. with interest. Scott himself looks up to H.P Lovecraft as a source of writing horror, though fortunately this hasn't resulted in some major Eldritch Abomination of an animatronic entering the games(well, maybe Golden Freddy).
  • Just wants to make it clear to the SCP Foundation he wasn't behind SCP-429. However he really likes the horror angle many of the SCPs have and wonders if they could inspire him for more ideas in his games. Depending on who you ask this is terrifying, nice to know, or both.
  • The Comic Book Guy is one of those trying to learn the secrets of his lore. The with every theory fans throughout, they never seem to be getting closer to the truth. The comic guy doesn't seem intimidated by it at all. He welcomes the challenge.
  • Wondered if Mat Pat was in the pantheon, but couldn't find one of his biggest fan theorizer and over-analyzer. Some more cynical deities were pleased because they are want to snark at Cawthon's plots for being all over the place and accuse him of making it up as they go along. Though with Scott, you never know what he planned in advanced and what he came up with for the next games.
  • Believe it or not, Scott is the only god in the Pantheon that can transform into an Overdeity by himself through his boss avatar in Five Nights at Freddy's World. At will. With no catch, beyond his own reluctance because the game is an Old Shame of his. This development has confused many of the upper tier gods, as there has not been such a being to be able to do this before. Beerus and Whis seem to be the ones who are most interested in Scott for this reason, though Beerus seems more interested in seeing how powerful Scott can be when he goes all out.
