Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

HamanaHamanaHamana Dog or Oni? (Bitroper)
Dog or Oni?
#182201: Jun 6th 2021 at 8:25:52 AM

Well, I may have not visited for a while but there is quite some stuff to unpack.

I have taken peeks to the website and quite frankly speaking, Derivatives will be needing a cleanup at some point. The news of a trope expy cleanup is underway and unfortunately, many profiles there will be tropeless. I should also note that the Character Expies redirect still exists so, I hope someone can clean that up.

On the other hand, the Terminator overhaul is something I want to plan ahead Clovis so be patient. I mean, I have so much reworks at the moment (Dark Souls < Team Fortress < Portal < DOTA < Half Life < Terminator, which is the current list), and that is not counting the individual reworks I have in store. My second sandbox has a list of profiles I want to rework.

Abstaining on all your suggestions, I feel like people could also give other suggestions if needed, especially on Omni-Man since the title is obviously on hype prevention.

Pantheon Dominions Project is done. Can I replace the dominions now?

I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!

[up][tup] It looks good to me.

And here's the first version of the Emperor rework. To summarize, he's the Evil Overlord of a conquering empire whose souls split in two after his death by the hands of La Résistance. The two halfs promptly went on to each conquer Heaven and Hell respectively.

Emperor Mateus, God of Taking Over The Afterlife (The Emperor, Emperor of Hell, Emperor of Heaven, Trap Master, Nameless Despot)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_emperor_01.png
As the Emperor of Hell
As the Emperor of Heaven
  • Theme Song: Battle Scene II
  • Intermediate God, Greater God as the Emperor of Hell and the Emperor of Heaven
  • Symbol: The staff by which he rules.
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Heralds: The still-loyal citizens of Palamecia and The forces of Pandemonium
  • Portfolio: The Emperor, later God-Emperor, Usurping the thrones of Hell and Heaven by means of his own death, Trap based magics, Starfall, godly imagery and mentality, Faux Affably Evil, Clever strategist, Pure evil, Only called by his title, Very pretty-looking, Not taking any chances, Doesn't have any faith in humanity, Soul split into his dark and light half
  • Domains: Godhood, Empires, Rule, Heaven, Hell.
  • Allies:
  • Enemies: Firion, All the good-aligned Final Fantasy deities, Golbez, Kuja, Mori Motonari, David Xanatos, Lelouch vi Britannia, Nagisa Misumi and Honoka Yukishiro, Laharl, The Seven Mortal Sins, Black Mage Evilwizardington, The Saint of Killers
  • Rivals: Melkor, YHVH
  • Some people are born with a rare unbidden ambition, one that pushes them to reach higher and higher for all of their life, and even beyond. The Emperor of the nation of Palamecia was one such soul who sought to control the whole world, even enlisting the help of the Legions of Hell to conquer it. His campaign of domination was nearly unstoppable, which eventually resulted in the sole resistance being the Wild Rose Rebellion, formed from the remnant of the conquered kingdom of Flynn. Though things seemed utterly hopeless, they nonetheless managed to finally kill the tyrant... But death couldn't stop his desire. Upon his passing, his soul was split into a 'dark' half, which went to Hell, and a 'light' half, which went to Heaven. Each promptly conquered their respective afterlives, deposing the dark and light forces. After which, the Emperor of Hell returned to the mortal realm with his demonic forces to lay waste to it, only to be defeated by the same heroes who killed him. At the same time, the Emperor of Heaven called upon the souls of those his empire had killed to try to convince them to forgive him, only for those same souls to rise up and slay him. Thus was his evil finally over, or so it was thought.
  • The Emperor, in a state where both parts of his souls were brought back together, was one of the many warriors called upon by Lord Chaos to act as his servants in an unending cycle of battles, which the ambitious human had accepted only with the goal to take control of both his lord's forces and that of their nemesis, Cosmos. While he failed in that and died once more, Chaos once more called upon him in the Pantheon, even managing to get him the title of those who conquer afterlives. The Emperor's ascension was merely the beginning. Upon learning that there were so many seats of power above the thrones he had taken for himself in his own world and that they were involved in a Forever War that spread across the whole Pantheon, he had decided to extends his original plans and to eventually find a way to usurp the thrones of all of the Great Alliances, so that he can become ruler of all that exists.
  • Since Firion is the hero who has slain him twice, it goes without saying that Emperor absolutely despises him and wish for nothing less than his complete destruction. The sentiment is very much reciprocated as Firion is filled with rage towards the despot for all the suffering he brought to his friends and the rest of the world. And so, the two are once more staunch archenemies, and the rest of the heroic Final Fantasy have likewise followed the Salamand native in opposing the emperor, especially since a good number of them already were his enemies when they were serving under Cosmos.
  • Initially, The Emperor once more worked alongside other Final Fantasy villains under the god Chaos, though he naturally planned to betray them just as he did back when they first fought together. However, this alliance was quickly undermined when Kuja and Golbez ended up leaving the forces of evil and joining up with good. This act quickly irked the Emperor, who swore that he would have the heads of the two traitors for this. And there is tension even amongst those who remained on Chaos's side, as he despises Exdeath and Kefka for their plans to destroy the world, leaving nothing for him to rule. Still, he acknowledges their powers and so tries to remain on their good sides so that he can use them wisely.
    • Naturally, this meant that he was by extension serving under Melkor in the Grand United Alliance of Evil. However, this changed when he was approached by Darkseid, who sought to recruit the Emperor's cunning and power for the Harbingers Of Repression after hearing about his conquests. Seeing that Darkseid's ideal of a dystopia appealed to him much more than Melkor's spiteful evil, the mage monarch accepted the offer to join. Though he kept his ties with Chaos and, as always, he fully plans on finding a way to bring down Darkseid and become the new God of Tyranny.
  • In the Pantheon, The Emperor can split himself into his Emperor of Hell and his Emperor of Heaven halves. While they're both the same egotistical tyrant in the end, his 'dark half' is more openly misanthropic and primarily focuses on laying waste to the world and destroying everything on it, bringing him closer to the ideals of the Grand United Alliance of Evil, and the 'light half' casts himself as a higher and benevolent being, who offers salvation and blessings to wicked humanity, which allowed him to more easily approach the similarly conceited members of the Grand United Alliance of Law. Yet despite those differences, the two have no problem working with one another. In fact, their differing personalities are part of a ploy by the Emperor to take the thrones of the Alliances they're respectively closer to, then unite them to conquer the rest of the Pantheon. Yet both Melkor and YHVH are heard about his exploits, and so are justifiably wary around any of his selves.
    • Hearing of an Heart that was pure evil, even after being purged of its darkness, heavily interested Master Xehanort and his other selves, and the old Keyblade master has approached the Emperor to study it. While the despot doesn't care much for his ultimate goal of purging darkness from people's hearts, he did grow interested in how Xehanort deliberately splitting himself into his Heartless and Nobody to accomplish his plans was much similar to his own successes with his two halves. As such, he has welcomed the latter's attempt to investigate him, and even has been trying to get advice on using time travel to possibly split himself furthermore so that he can have a 'representative' for each alliance.
  • The Emperor has proven himself to be an expert schemer and in fact was the primary brain behind the Warriors of Chaos during the Dissidia conflict, and in fact was the one that came up with their overall plan. He's also completely relentless in his schemes and seldom gives any chance to his enemies, as was proven by his conquest of the world. Of course, any advice he offers is tainted by the fact that he plans to betray any authorities so that he can be the one to stands above all. He's naturally wary around the likes of Motonari or David Xanatos. Though he refuses to admit anyone could possess a greater mind than his own, he is wise enough to make plans that would protect himself against them. Another deity he has grown wary of is Lelouch vi Brittania, especially after hearing that the young man managed to utterly destroy an empire that had ruled over a great part of the world for a century. Lelouch himself despises the Emperor for reminding him of the worst excesses of Brittania, and so the two have been making their own plans on how to eventually dispose of the other.
  • A lot of deities have noted that he looks very much like the legendary singer David Bowie, and more than a few of them confused the two on occasion. While the Emperor doesn't have much of an opinion on music or on Bowie himself, the fact that he could be likened to a powerless mere mortal like him anger the prideful despot. Anyone who calls him by that name is bound to get into all sorts of trouble with traps later on.
    • He also flipped off when Nagisa Misumi/Cure Black and Honoka Yukishiro/Cure White mistook him as a reincarnated Pissard, who, you guessed it, looked like David Bowie. The battle raged for a long time and by the end of it, The Emperor has come to hate the two magical girls. As for the two of them, while they did recognize that he wasn't actually Pissard after all, they still staunchly oppose his ambitious and tyrannical way.
    • This resemblance to Bowie also got him comparisons to Jareth, especially when it comes to the way they dress. The Emperor, for his part, grew fascinated by the Goblin King's labyrinth and how he can change every facet of it on a whim. And so, the despot decided to strike an agreement with him so that he can study his labyrinth in the hope of modifying Pandemonium and Arubboth so that he can have an equivalent mastership of them. In exchange, he has been teaching some of his spells to the fairy-like being.
  • For a very long time, nobody knew his actual name, as he felt no need to be known by anything lesser than the title that shows his eventual rulership over all. An alternate telling of his tale gave him the name Mateus, but this story also showed him as completely manipulated by Satan and never managing to conquer Hell for himself. Naturally, the arrogant monarch absolutely despised something that made him look like a pawn and so refused to acknowledge it. But it eventually turned out during the wars between Chaos and Cosmos that Mateus was actually his name, though he still never use it.
  • Quite naturally, he has been planning on taking over other afterlives, of which there are many tied to the various gods of the Pantheon. Upon learning about how Laharl managed to become Overlord of his Netherworld by simple martial might, as did Lucifer of the Seven Mortal Sins with Hell, he has been making plans to defeat them and take their realms for their own. Both have already heard of the guy's reputation and are naturally quite against this, which means they're fully preparing themselves to fight him eventually. He thinks of the Hell that the Helltaker visited as quite an easy target, since its greatest demons were easily recruited into a mortal man's harem for pancakes of all things. Yet, unexpectedly, he has shown nothing but courtesy towards the visiting angel Azazel, who was fascinated by the thought of a mortal sinful enough to conquer Hell. He seems more than happy to answer all of her questions and to guide her. In truth, he has learned about she grew powerful enough to take over the place herself in an alternate timeline, and so has decided to deliberately guide her along that part so that he can have a powerful ally.
    • There are others in the Pantheon who accomplished the feat of taking over an afterlife. The psychotic adventurer known as Black Mage managed to take over Hell due to his immense evil, but any thoughts in the Emperor's mind about a possible alliance of convenience were quickly squashed by the mage's stupidly destructive impulses. And so, the despot has designated him as a threat to simply eliminate. Upon learning about how the Saint of Killers took over both Hell and Heaven yet had no interest in ruling himself, he had tried to coax him into his services. He was quickly shot down quite literally by the Saint, who pointed out he was no better than the version of God from his world.

  • Symbol: A TV Remote
  • Theme Song: Stay Tuned - Opening Theme
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Nuclear Family, Relationship That Grew Sour Due to Roy's TV Addiction But Got Better, Deadpan Snarkers, Became Cartoony In Animated Segments, Helen Being Less Composed Compared To Roy
  • Domains: Television, Escaping, Families, Narratives
  • Heralds: Their two children, Darryl and Diane Knable
  • High Priest: Rez
  • Allies: Gex, Roger Rabbit, Eddie Valiant, Jerry, Timmy Turner, Crimson Chin, Viewtiful Joe, Meteora Österreich, Homer and Marge Simpson, the GUAG White Hats, The Investigation Team, Ryotaro Dojima
  • Odd Friendship with (Roy only): Zorro, Puss In Boots
  • Respects: The ascended wrestling deities
  • Avoids: Lex the Bookworm, Altair, Xingo
  • Enemies: The Hall of Demons as well as other ascended devils in the Pantheon, Mr. Burns, Conal Cochran, Judge Doom, The Grand United Alliance of Machines
  • Due to a seemingly innocent deal between a couch potato and a convincing salesman, Roy Knable would unknowningly set up a dangerous deal with the demonic company known as Hell Vision, trapping him and his wife Helen into the new TV's exclusive 666 channels, where they both had to survive for 24 hours or else they'd lose their souls to the devil.
  • On one uneventful night, the parents would go to sleep, only to reawaken in a whole new place that was completely unfamiliar to them. Checking their technology to make sure they didn't use any suspicious devices, and checking themselves to see if they were turned into cartoons again, the two Knables would venture out to be greeted by several deities, who had decided that based on their adventures as mortals, that they were to be ascended under the trope of Trapped in TV Land. Unlike a majority of deities who came into the Pantheon, both Roy and Helen wanted out, not wanting to get involved in more kinds of perils, much as many sane men and women would have chosen at first. Even learning of the resurrection-based immortality and that the Pantheon wasn't completely run by demons convinced them to stay. Though, life at home was uneventful for them after their experiences within the TV shows, so the two parents eventually accepted on the condition that their children could stay with them as heralds, which was an accepted request.
Roy: You know, I may still have some problems keeping my eyes away from the TV, but wasting my life in some place dedicated to pointing out common elements in televised media? Not even I'd do that!
Helen: Well, I'm glad to see that even you have standards.
  • Obviously, they keep away from all the Hall of Demons and any other ascended devil in the Pantheon, knowing far better to make more deals with them. The same applies to any figurative devil in the Pantheon, including any problematic companies. They're opposed to both Mr. Burns, Conal Cochran, and similar companies they're allied with for their malicious practices. It's not like Roy needs to buy a new TV, since the Pantheon gave him a much better TV than the one he's familiar with in his mortal life, though Helen makes sure he doesn't get addicted to TV again.
  • The both of them can be seen working in the House of Profession, doing work as they did back in their own mortal lives, with Roy also being part of the Elysium Academy to train other learning deities to fence. They'd rather not get involved in all of the crazier occurrences within the Pantheon, let alone the Forever War between various alliances in the Pantheon. Figuring that they'll still be pulled in conflicts from time to time, the Knables decided that they have no reason to look for more trouble anyways. As such, they get along with other deities that simply want to continue a somewhat normal life in the Pantheon.
  • The two Knables got along with Gex and Viewtiful Joe, who both also traveled through TV worlds just as they did, and making a living through it. The Knables are impressed that they made entering and surviving nasty television shows a profession for themselves, which even Roy, a fellow TV addict, would be hesitant to do. They reassured them that the job simply wasn't for everyone, and that their respect was mutual for going through their feud with Hell Vision. However, Gex noticed something rather perilous with their high priest, who the Knables were completely unaware of, Gex's archnemesis Rez, known for trapping others within his Media Dimension, and someone who they would all oppose for such reasons, hoping that Rez doesn't find another way to enter the Pantheon.
  • Another TV lover they're friends with is Timmy Turner, who is especially a big fan of the Crimson Chin, a superhero that managed to be brought into the world outside of television with use of his fairies' wishes. Being a genuinely heroic guy, the Knables can consider him a good guy to be around. They're a little unsure of what to think about Timmy's sometimes problematic use of wishes, but they do have some pity on how his parents are negligent of their son at times, hoping they never become anything like them either. There was also Eustace Bagge who also likes to watch television, but they just consider him an annoying Cranky Neighbor for the most part.
  • Having been turned into cartoon characters for a bit while trapped in TV, they've given respect towards Eddie and Roger Rabbit who are experienced with interactions between real people and other toons themselves. While they don't ever plan to become toons again, they're more than wary enough of Judge Doom who could certainly threaten to kill them with The Dip should they be forced to become toons again. Having been cartoon mice in particular, they also get along with Jerry, and while Tom reminds them of the Robo-Cat that tried to catch them before, their views on him are neutral.
  • During their mishaps with Hell Vision's killer channels, they were forced to fight against Hell Vision's own wrestlers, The Gorgons, for their survival. While Roy knew about how wrestling matches are generally staged, this only got Roy in trouble as he got beaten up by Mr. Gorgon. Ever since the Knables got past the encounter (mostly Helen's efforts), they both have gotten a newfound respect of all the wrestling deities in the Pantheon, understanding their work a little better. The wrestling deities are a bit impressed (and intimidated) by how savagely Helen made quick work out of the Gorgons once Mrs. Gorgon decided to rip out a bit of her hair. She may still be a Quasideity, but they know better than to be on the other end of her rage.
  • While Helen's happy that Roy's gotten over his obsession with TV, she does note that he sometimes gets attached to his television for a little too long on occasion. It's never gotten as problematic as when it began to tear their relationship apart, but it mildly upsets her that Roy never gets bored of TV. She once went to a library to ponder about how people don't seem to get into books like how we do with television these days, and Lex the Bookworm heard her words as misinterpreted them as a certain request, and one ZAP later, Helen would find trapped in a city within a book she was reading. With Roy learning of the event, he helped Helen find a way out of the book, and they left Lex's library, startled that even books had the potential to suck you in and make you go through their narratives.
Helen: You know, when I was thinking about getting into books, this was not what I was asking for.
  • They were intrigued by the Investigation Team's ventures in the TV World they went through, even if their interactions with the Midnight Channel weren't something they expected. Surprised that the TV World they're familiar with could grant them special abilities, especially gaining a Persona, the Knables are impressed by how they used the TV World to solve things like murder cases. Similarly, they got along with their ally Ryotaro Dojima who was a detective that formerly had an estranged relationship with his daughter due to a case involving his wife's murder, holding much pity for him. They do remind each other that a balance between personal issues and professional work is necessary for maintaining families, which they can all get behind.
  • Welcomed in the House of Family for getting past a situation that threatened to tear it apart, as mundane as the Knables in relation to many deities in the Pantheon. The Knable parents also found themselves being rather relatable to the Simpson parents, both being parts of similarly sized families, though the latter family finds themselves more used to chaotic situations than the former. Helen and Marge found good friends in each other to talk to, and Roy found good buddies in Homer for their mutual love of donuts. Both Roy and Homer also had a mutual interest in wanting to be better for their family, both having their own needs to improve.
  • In their temple, which resembles their normal house, Roy has a fencing trophy, having been quite an experienced fencer himself. Soon enough, it would lead into meeting the famous Zorro who Roy recognized from all the TV he's watched. Somehow, there was a bet made between the two that led to them getting caught up in a fencing duel. While Zorro would end up winning the duel, Zorro would be surprised at how competent Roy was with the rapier, being a difficult opponent to triumph against. This would get Roy challenged by Puss in Boots later on, and the two managed to duel to a standstill for a few minutes, Roy being surprised he was fencing with an anthromorphic cat in the first place. Ending the fight early, Roy had managed to earn the respect of both fencers, though both note that his stamina is something that could be worked on.
  • They both ran into the deity holding the opposing trope to theirs, Xingo, once while heading back from doing their usual jobs. Wanting to show the two Knables his definition of fun, he decided to show them some of his best pranks, one of which involved turning them back into cartoon characters again. After a long chase involving explosive pies and sentient angry tumbleweeds, the two barely escaped Xingo's mischief with their lives, Roy knowing far better than to try to fight such a wacky character. Not wanting to see Xingo's face ever again, they decided to take some Brain Bleach to ensure they can't even invoke his appearance by mentioning him, but keeping a small flash card in their pocket to know how to deal with him just in case.
    • When it came to other fictional characters that entered into the real world, they get along with Meteora pretty well, but Altair is someone that they'd rather keep away from for their own sake.
  • The Knables found it ideal to ally with the GUAG White Hats, given the fact that they may end up being sucked into deadly television shows again. The White Hats being benevolent technological experts and hackers themselves who could help them escape such situations could only be beneficial for them. Not only that, but the group reminded them of their son, Darryl, who also happened to have a knack for technology himself. They also dislike one of their enemies, the Grand United Alliance of Machines, since they decided that dealing with a malicious television was enough for them, and obviously disagree with the idea of being turned to machines themselves.

  • Fears: The Dovahkiin
  • Sometimes, in order to get certain results, certain members need to participate. Sometimes, they're a liability if you do, but you have to suck it up and bear it, all for the sake of the story, a better ending, or even some beneficial additions later. And the "lucky" candidate selected by the Court via grab bag was Fae, the Divine Dragon of Elibe, and she who needs to survive to track down the real villain of Roy's story Jahn, the man(akete) behind King Zephiel.
  • As for who she is, Fae is a Manakete from the hidden Manakete village of Arcadia. Chronologically, she was first seen standing guard in a house at the Nabata Desert while Eliwood's army was fighting bandits to reach Pent. She also hinted on the existence of hidden items around the place.
    • She would meet his son Roy several years later when he visits Arcadia, but was forbidden to follow him, especially with the current war. Despite that, she managed to sneak out, and then be captured by Bern before Roy rescues her, after which she joins up. At the end of the war, she returns to Nabata, where she fades from Elibian history.
  • She was happy to see Roy and Lilina upon finding them in the Pantheon, after they had parted pays after defeating Jahn and restoring Idunn, and also got to meet their parents. Also, now that they are all deities, she doesn't have to worry about outliving anybody, which was a sentiment Tiki also shared.
    • There were those who worried that her encounter with Lyn might trigger hostility, but her early encounter with Tiki (as well as potentially meeting Fae once before) ensured that that wasn't the case.
  • In her time at Roy's army, she hadn't been allowed to partake much in battle, mainly due to how limited her dragonstone was in terms of usesnote . Thankfully, her excellent Resistance allows her to sponge magic attacks without wasting its uses, which only happens when she has to attack an enemy.
  • Compared to all manaketes after her and Tiki before them, Fae's dragon form looks like a fluffy yellow goose-like thing that wouldn't look out-of-place in an Easter basket. Still no less dangerous, though.
  • Fears the Dovahkiin for…well, hunting dragons, and what would happen after that. Whenever she encounters them, she always tries to hide, either behind Lilina, Roy, or Tiki (as well as Marth after the elder Divine Dragon introduced her to him).
    • She also hates Miraak for the same reasons, with the added bonus of being a narcissistic cult leader also out to brainwash any dragon he could find.
    • That said, she's on better terms with the Dovahkiin's mentor Paarthurnax, as he's a dragon who turned against his species' nature to dominate and destroy. It helps that he's acquainted with Eliwood and Ninian (Roy's parents, maybe in Ninian's case), and is willing to help them out with many evil dragons in the Pantheon. Especially his brother, Alduin.

[tup] for the Knable Pair.

Omni-Man is on hold, don't worry about it (I've said it before that I was aware of the HPS, in fact, I was the one who put Invincible there). As I've said before, It'll take a while (approx. a month or two or even longer) before I get around to doing his profile and I'm intending to prioritize other stuff in the meantime as well.

Finalizing my proposed Houses of Death And Postmortem and Life And Vitality. I have one approval and I simply want about two more approvals before I can properly go ahead with it. That, and I'm the sort of guy who just wants to finish things off quickly.

Throwing this out of the way, but today onwards, my older brother is now a married man.

  • Allies: Shadow the Hedgehog, E-123 Omega, Sonic the Hedgehog, Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Ren Akiyama, Shiki, Neopolitan, Emerl, Felonius Gru, Batty Koda

  • On speaking terms with: The Hall of Detectives, Remilia Scarlet, Strahd von Zavorich
  • Odd Friendship with: Bruce Wayne/Batman
  • Vitriolic Best Buds with: Knuckles the Echidna, Cynthia
  • Rivals: Nack, Nathan Drake, Team Charm, Felicia Hardy, Wario
  • Enemies: Metal Sonic, Mephiles the Dark, Black Doom, Infinite, Dr. Eggman, Antasma, Dr Albert W Wily, Konrad Curze
  • Opposed by: Carmelita Fox
  • Annoyed by: Zubat and Golbat, ZONE
  • Rouge's primary interest is in jewels. She is generally in search of them as a treasure hunter, though she's sometimes a freelance government agent...who expects to be paid in such. She's also rather attractive, though considering the world she's from, it's kept at a relatively tame level. A lot of deities accidentally misspell her name as "Rogue". She simply views said misspelling as a minor inconvenience to her.
    • Is noted to have a relatively diverse wardrobe (at least compared to the other Sonic characters) and can be seen wearing a different costume every other week. No one is certain if she gets new clothes through the jewels she finds or simply via a lot of rings.
  • The House of Love is still trying to see if she is in love with either Shadow or Knuckles. She has stated that she'll always be by Shadow's side regardless of what happens Omega is there for the two. As for Knuckles, the interactions are a little more complicated to say the least, though they will put aside their differences if the fate of the world is at stake. Rouge works better with Sonic, even being invited to his birthday. The two have also formed a bond with Emerl.
  • Even though her memories of that encounter were erased from her, Rouge isn't really happy to see that Mephiles is in action again. She, along with the Shadow and E-123 Omega intend to stop whatever it is that Mephiles has planned in spite of the erasure of said memories. His other components have restored these memories, and Mephiles chose to taunt her of how her and Shadow's relationship would only end in tragedy in the Bad Future. Given he was technically correct about Sonic being the Iblis Trigger, he might be telling the truth. The two have sworn that'll never happen.
    • They weren't happy to learn that Black Doom is Back from the Dead in the pantheon, and Infinite wasn't happy to meet one of Shadow's confidants when he joined the pantheon.
  • She tends to hang out with fellow Femme Fatale thieves Catwoman and Fujiko Mine. If she's in a mood to steal something, chances are she'll work alongside the two in such. Unlike Selina she's a government agent, though this doesn't get in the way of her jewel thievery. Sometimes she'll work with the Hall of Detectives as part of her role as a government agent. Rogue will sometimes work with Gru due to his role in the Anti-Villain League and willingness to do anti-heroic things to achieve results. He's also a great thief.
    • The fact she's a government agent and thief boils the blood of Carmelita Fox, who opposes any criminal no matter the alignment and will be damned to let one work for the government.
  • One of her appointments was to keep an eye on Eggman's friendly rival Dr Wily, which she already has a poor history with. Wily accuses her of being responsible for Crystal Man's removal from the pantheon because she wanted his crystals all to herself. The bat won't deny that she would do that, but explained that he was actually removed for not properly fitting his trope and he's in no position to complain about being stolen from.
  • Being a bat, Rouge tends to hang out with other deities associated with such, including Ren Akiyama and Shiki. The latter calls her Rougie (partially since Rouge told Shiki not to call her "Rogie"). She's also on good terms with Batty Koda, who she pities for the experimentation done to him. On the other hand, Rouge isn't too thrilled about Antasma and has been getting into fights against him whenever their paths cross. For a bat-themed character the two are on not so surprisingly good terms as she reminds him of Selina. Some people have called Batman a furry for this (though a lot of people feel that way for Rouge).
Bruce Wayne: "Yes, I'm a furry. My costume gives it away".
  • Given she's a fanservicy and flirtatious bat, Rouge has a Friendly Rivalry with the bat succubi Morrigan and Lilith. She's a lot more modest than them, so it's more about personal vanity than anything lustful. Being an attractive humanoid bat has led to the Hall of Vampires being interested in her, but she only cares to make conversation with classy vamps like Von Zarovich or Remila Scarlet who's both a vampire and a bat. Demitri Maximoff has tried to hit on her but she ignores him unless she wants to Troll Knuckles.
  • She finds the bat-themed Konrad rather intimidating, as he's Batman but evil and on steroids. However beyond opposing him and he opposing her for being a thief, Rouge is more concerned(rather, annoyed) by the Zubat and Golbat who pester her whenever she's exploring caves searching for treasure. Rouge was interested in the world of Pokemon to a degree, but mainly the Woobat line as they remind her of herselfnote . Less vainly she and Cynthia are somewhat chummy together as they're both treasure hunters and Cynthia is a socialite. However the Pokemon champion sometimes bemoans her jewel thievery, greed and vanity, even if she knows Rouge is a good person underneath that.
  • Rouge has gotten a lot of ire from Diancie and her Carbink servants as she always tries to steal their jewels and get the Mythical Pokemon to make more beautiful pink diamonds for her. Sometimes she'll also try to take some of Scrooge McDuck's gems for herself, using her role as a government agent to claim she's part of the IRS. Scrooge eventually put two and two together and fought her, but he can't deny he enjoyed their fight and hopes to prove himself as always her better the next time she tries to take his gems. And while Diancie doesn't have that Worthy Opponent angle with Rouge, she knows the bat thief won't harm her or her Carbink and isn't a bad person.
  • Knows she's attractive and is proud of it. She just wishes that ZONE stopped drawing lewd fanart of her. Personally she holds more of a respect for Ann Takamaki for embracing her beauty without letting other people define what that means for her, and was impressed at how she stood up for herself against sex offenders like Kamoshida. The two first met during her time in the Hall of Thievery, where she espoused wisdom and learned more tips in jewel thievery. Rouge soon found a rival in Black Cat, both in being a Classy Cat-Burglar and vanity about their looks.
  • During one of her treasure-hunting exploits, she met up with treasure-hunter Nack. She was a little amused to hear that the weasel was doing treasure-hunting in the Sonicverse before she came along. Both certainly enjoy the competition and often take shots at each other thanks to Nack's attempts at flirting with her. It was through him that Rouge learned about various other treasure hunters such as Lara Croft, Indiana Jones, and Nathan Drake. She finds them to be rather interesting competition in her treasure-hunting exploits.
    • Rouge later happened to encounter Team Charm by chance during one of her adventures. After a brief dispute over a treasure that they found, she and the group considered each other rivals and are in competition over who can find more valuable treasures.
  • The bat was once asked about the Treasury within the Pantheonic vault. When asked if she would try and steal something from there, she simply said that she would steal something that interests her at the moment. She also knows about Nack's various attempts at breaking in the vault and failing at that. One of the times she tried to steal from the Treasury Wario got it first and the she began chasing him for it, and whatever treasures and valuables he discovers. Wario doesn't like the competition so Rogue didn't bother with any bargaining.

[up][tup] for both profiles.

A little girl descends with a mortal body joyfully as she is accompanied by her grandmother...

...and the House of Life And Death is now split into Death and Postmortem and Life and Vitality. Now commences a huge list of dewicks. Yay...?

Beyond that, another beta draft; here's Hitomi Tsukishiro. She's a girl who comes from a family of witches who lost her ability to see colors and fell into depression because of it, began to dislike magic, and socially distanced herself from it. Her grandmother, Kohaku, sends her back in time by 60 years so that Hotomi can meet Kohaku's past self in an effort to restore Hitomi's mindset, recover her from her angst and regain her sight of colors. She befriends a group of students who then form a school club based on magic, arts, and photography, with Kohaku joining in and all of them make an effort to help Hitomi in recovering and making her happy.

Based on these, any suggestions. Looking for those who went on a similar predicament like Hitomi's like struggling due to a sight disability, whether it's to do with colors or not. Anyone involving time travel plots, creative arts, photography, making friends and social struggling, and specifically performing magic (also those who initially don't like magic). Other suggestions and advice are still welcome.

  • In 2078, the world is filled with the power of magic, with most people using them for spectacle and artistry. Undeniably, it's popular and is enjoyed overall. However, in the case of one individual whose lineage comes from a family of magicians, this perspective went south as the continuous usage of magic caused a physical strain that resulted in Achromatopsia, losing her ability to see colors and seeing the world in a monochromatic vision. This left Hitomi Tsukishiro sullen and depressed about her predicament as well as becoming socially withdrawn as she would bear witness to fireworks that she usually saw as a child and feel empty rather than joyous. Her grandmother, Kohaku decides to enact a plan to use her magic to send Hitomi back in time to a period when Kohaku was a teenager in the hopes that her granddaughter can regain her ability to see colors and be able to redevelop her capacity in making friends.
    • Hitomi was sent back to 2018, 60 years from the present, where she accidentally found herself in the room of a boy named Yuito Aoi. She then stumbled across a trio of students from her future high school and members of its Photography & Art Club named Asagi Kanezo, Kurumi Kawai, and Shō Yamabuki, who mistakenly thought that Hitomi was Yuito's boyfriend. Hitomi was then led to her grandmother's home where she discovered that Kohaku was off abroad in England to study education and was accommodated by her great-great-grandmother to stay at her residence for the time being. After meeting Yuito formally and seeing colors for the first time briefly via magic from him, Hitomi decided to try spending time with Yuito, Asagi, Kurumi, and Shō whilst also getting acquainted with Chigusa Fukasawa, though she ends up having to showcase them her ability to use magic, which burdens her. Once Kohaku returns, she makes it a goal to look after Hitomi and help out in improving her magical potency and communicating with others. Along the way, the seven teens decide to merge the Photography & Art and Magic Clubs to form a "Magic-Photography-Arts Club", whereupon the experience helps Hitomi in opening up to others, taking an interest in photography, developing feelings for Yuito, becoming more comfortable in using magic, and admitting her struggles in not being able to see colors. However, her time in 2018 is limited as Hitomi begins to disappear and reappear sporadically; she was creating a "time-gap" as Hitomi had desired to stay in 2018 far longer than she wanted to. The Club decided to do whatever it takes to give Hitomi a great eventful day in the upcoming Cultural Festival before she returns to 2078, with Hitomi taking the opportunity to improve her use of magic. Hitomi made the most of it and created the memorable moments she made before returning to 2078, although her magic's interference did halt the process. Only with Yuito encountering a monochromatic Hitomi and confessing their feelings with one another as well as admitting that they had sheltered themselves and their emotions were what mended the process and allowed Hitomi to return to her time, but not before fully regaining her sight of colors and saying her goodbyes to the friends she made in the past. After reuniting her time's Kohaku, who presents her with a time capsule, preserving her memories and moments in 2018, Hitomi resolves to live out her life with a newfound sense of confidence and hope, alongside her interest in magic being restored.
  • Now more optimistic than before, Hitomi was eager to see what new experiences she can look out for and desires to learn a lot from that, alongside practicing her usage in magic and remembering her friends in some capacity. Her luck came by when one day, while performing her spells, Hitomi wound up releasing a signal that alerted a mysterious being who took notice of the action and expressed interest. Out of curiosity, Hitomi sought to learn what was going on, whereupon a spell was directed at her; she was given a mail that contained an invitation to a realm known as the Trope Pantheons. She consulted with Kohaku about the situation, whereupon Kohaku encouraged Hitomi to go along with it, especially learning how there was the promise of grand experience in magic. Se decided to embark on the Pantheon with a wishing thought that she can make new friends and learn from a brand new world.
  • To Hitomi, the functionality of magic in her world is through the use of Star-sands; a peculiar sort of material that can generate different sorts of magic according to how the user develops it and store it up for future use. It is a type of sand that is exclusively found during moonlight and Hitomi guessed that the best place to find Star-sands is the Hall of Darkness and Shadow, where it is perpetually midnight. To her delight, many residents from the House of Magic were more than open to lending Hitomi a helping hand and have since aided in collecting her a collection of Star-sands whenever she goes venturing there.

[up][up] Hal had trouble with speech and it is thought that she has selective mutism and as a result only had two friends. Hal's also genuinely good with art though she ended up abandoning it after being gaslit over one of her friends getting into an accident because of her (by the other friend, no less). She did end up pick up art again by the end of her story, though, as one of her reasons to keep on living.

Hikari has a deep interest in film and filmmaking. She has relatives that are quite disapproving of said interests, and along with a many other events in her life, she'd end up as a depressed mess. It was bad enough that Hikari stopped filmmaking and started shutting herself away from her father who was nothing but supportive for her and her interests. She'd also recover and pick up that passion again by the end of her story

Regarding the Private Ryan squad, I had always considered making something of them (or at least Miller) one day. Only wanted a more flattering trope - I understand it fits America Won World War II because only American soldiers appear, because the trope usually concerns "the US alone defeated the Nazis", usually with Patriotic Fervor (something that barely figures into the movie) turned on - and sadly the best one is already taken. But still, am very willing to see them promoted and help with it.

Been so long since I played FFII, wish I could think of anything to suggest to the Emperor (though the profile is fairly good already). In the meantime, the other villain from Dawn of Souls.

Garland, God of the Vicious Cycle (Chaos, Nemesis, the Stalwart)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/garland_dissidia_arcade_2015.png
  • Lesser God (Greater God as Chaos)
  • Symbol: His horned helmet
  • Theme Song: Chaos Temple (Last Battle as Chaos)
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Portfolio: Endless cycles, keeping himself alive through time loops, a love of combat, heavy armor, large weapons, knocking others down, serving Chaos, Multi-Purpose Sword.
  • Domains: Cycles, Conflict, Reincarnation, Paradox
  • Heralds: The Four Fiends
  • Allies: Lord Chaos, Caius Ballad, Mercurius, Emperor Palamecia, Golbez, Exdeath, Kefka Palazzo, Sephiroth, Ultimecia, Kuja, Jecht, Seymour Guado, Sarda, Bowser, Airy, Mordred, the evil Kingdom Hearts deities
  • Enemies: Cosmos, the Warrior of Light, Firion, the Final Fantasy III heroes, Cecil Harvey, Kain Highwind, Terra Branford and her friends, Cloud Strife, Squall Leonhart, Zidane Tribal, Tidus, Sora, Masou Kishin Heralds, [the Light Warriors, King Arthur and his knights, Artoria Pendragon, every princess in the House of Heirs
  • Complicated relationship: White Mage
  • Formerly Garland was only a member of the Pantheon by his existence to Chaos. However further review has noted Garland, while an extension of Chaos' paradox, has a legitimate claim to a throne separate from the God of Discord. Namely, while Garland becomes the demon Chaos, Lord Chaos is a whole separate entity that downright had Garland as his first recruit in assembling a villain squad that transcended time and space (Garland himself bestowed the 'Chaos' name upon the God of Discord noting the similarities to his own final form). Still, the rules of Garland's existence still apply even though he is now his own deity. Should Chaos die, Garland will become the next Chaos and take the throne of the Temporal Paradox and create a new Garland to fill this position.
  • The story goes that when Garland was about to die, the Four Fiends (Lich, Marilith, Kraken, and Tiamat) sent him to the past, where his hatred would merge with the four elements of the world to create the Fiends, who after restoring Garland to life (in the process turning him into the demon Chaos) would then be sent by him to the present, a Stable Time Loop that would allow Garland to live forever. This Vicious Cycle had seemingly continued without a clear end a countless number of times, until the Warriors of Light managed to break it by time traveling to defeat the Garland/Chaos of the past. Hence, Garland has made very clear one of the things that drives him in the Pantheon is the possibility for a rematch with the lead Warrior, and bring his head back to his temple.
  • The only Houses Garland has ever been seen in are the Houses of Combat, Weapons, and Time and Space. In the House of Time and Space, he is on official duty, either to his own title or at Chaos' behest. Otherwise, he is indulging himself with one fight after another, seeing no other form of entertainment available. Of course resorting to the thing that led the Warriors of Light against him in the first place, kidnapping princesses, has crossed his mind - Bowser even became a friend, as this sort of abduction is his way of life! This then led Princess Peach to rally the other heiresses of her House to stand against Garland.
  • Garland's title owes to the Four Fiends, and thus they became his heralds. This instantly put him in the sights of the Masou Kishin quartet, as those are the same classical elements they run on, only employed by monsters.
  • He has occasionally proclaimed he would "knock down" his opponents when in particularly heated scraps. He has been mocked for this before, but ridiculers were quick to learn just what being "knocked down" would entail. And he's grown a Berserk Button to opponents who taunt him by singing "Tubthumping" - you might get knocked down, but will get up again, as he'll never gonna keep you down!
  • Given another Garland originated from the world of Final Fantasy IX, Zidane and Kuja prefer not to think that the old man who created them both might be inside that armor.
  • While Warrior of Light is his arch-nemesis, Garland also hates every Final Fantasy hero, and will always continue to fight them for nothing more than to enjoy himself. He also harbors a grudge against Cloud, as he was the first in the series to wield a huge sword and yet the spiky-haired blonde takes all the glory.
  • Is always willing to go along with the evil schemes of Mercurius, who also abuses time loops for his benefit, and Airy, who has similar experience with power crystals and time (though alternate timelines instead of staying in the same one).
  • Being a respected knight who turned to evil once corrupted with power, Garland has already gotten along with fellow fallen warrior Mordred, who can't wait to go after his father Arthur with such powerful back-up. The Knights of the Round Table have since been prepared, and even Arthur's female version Artoria (who has extra contempt for Garland because, well, it's a guy who kidnaps princesses) is willing to show Garland what being knocked down really means.
  • Sora has never actually met Garland (the only Final Fantasy villain that crossed his way was Sephiroth), but instantly stands against someone with such lust for power. Doesn't help the villains of his series took an interest to Garland, who feel his elemental magic can be enhanced with Darkness - and Sora doesn't want to see what a Heartless or Nobody derived from Garland and Chaos can be.
  • After learning of a certain interpretation of his story where he was an Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain, Garland was at first angry, but decided that incorporating some of those Affably Evil traits might get people to support him - White Mage even can't fully stand against him because of the memories of the Garland she helped promote as a Fake Ultimate Hero! Still, he's still a fierce opposer of the Light Warriors, no matter if aside from Fighter they're borderline villains. Garland also became a partner of Sarda, whose Start of Darkness also involves time travel - although Sarda has some envy to how Garland became Chaos instead of having his body hijacked by him.

  • For years following Oolacile's destruction at the hands of the Abyss, many wondered what happened that lead to the city's downfall. The most reliable information came from a merchant that bespoke the town's destruction through upturning the grave of Manus, Father of the Abyss. Manus was defeated by a certain Chosen Undead that went back through time to witness the corruption that had occured within the city. As time has gone by, new kingdoms would emerge but they too would suffer the Undead Curse, which has become a key conflict towards the kings that ruled at the time and such was the case with Drangleic where a king and his beloved queen would not only fight against this newfound curse, but a fragment of the being that once represented the Abyss.
    • King Vendrick was the king when Drangleic was being built, under the roots of the four Lord Souls and with it a powerful Throne of Want. His kingship would give way to his success as a king but as soon as it was all going well, a wanderer from a far-away land told him of an oncoming war with the looming threat of the giants. Worried that his kingdom would be destroyed from such menace, he stormed their land first and gained an unprecedented amount of soul manipulation. His kingdom would be saved and took the stranger, a woman by the name of Nashandra as his queen, but it would not last, as the Giants took revenge and his kingdom, while saved by an unknown hero, was shattered. Worse, the Undead Curse struck Drangleic and soon, he and Aldia would do whatever it takes to undo it, but came with the realization of two things, his brother's grim research that made him near inhumane and that his queen, the one who "saved" his kingdom has been tricking him all along. With his forced exile and the Throne of Want at guard, the queen was at helm of the now-rotting kingdom, Nashandra, who was revealed to be a Child of Dark, the remnant soul of Manus, Father of the Abyss.
    • It turns out that Drangleic was not the only victim to the Children of Dark's entrance. Shulva, the once home of the Sunken King was home to another Child of Dark, Elana, who was the later wife of the king. When the city was besieged, her king was slain and left her in a wrathful state, now with her conjuring as much souls as she can to avenge her king (whether she loved him or manipulated him is still in question) using a Slumbering Dragon. Then there was Brume Tower, home to Nadalia, the Bride of Ash. She went to the tower to look for the Old Iron King but found that the king was not there, but slain and his kingdom in tatters. Distraught with this, she transformed from her physical state into a swirling mass of black fog, controlling the armor remaining in the tower and all the deceased soldiers in the tower, creating a kingdom of her own as well as seducing the Drangleic exile known as Raime. Lastly was Eleum Loyce, where the Ivory King resided and where a Child of Dark, Alsanna, the Silent Oracle, arrived. Instead of her ruining the land like her sisters, she was redeemed through love from the Ivory King, until the Old Chaos arrived and the Ivory King was forced to stop it but inevitably fail, leading to Alsanna holding the castle in silent vigilance. There was also another Child of Dark but resented her heritage, Karla, the Witch, who survived for many years past Drangleic and into the kingdom of Lothric where she was stranded until an Ashen One would rescue her and teach him various sorceries. These sisters, would be the Children of Dark, fragments of the Father of the Abyss.
  • There are various children in the Pantheon that have been ostracized or treated with danger but very few come close to the Children of Dark, as collectively claimed. These people, born from a shred of the monstrous Abyss, have grown notoriety by their heritage alone alongside the mission to spread the Dark in the furthest lands, by wooing rulers of kingdoms and tricking them into their control. One nearly succeeded while the rest were either stranded in their kingdoms, or forsaken their purpose. Their powers range from the usage of dark sorceries, to even manipulation of fog and mud, making the Children far more capable than they would seem at a first glance. If it had not been for one Bearer of the Curse to stop them, the remaining lands would have been swallowed by the Abyss even quicker.
  • Manus' presence in the Pantheon was a problem for many deities as the Father of the Abyss was known to have his soul fragmented to various beings following his death so security to him was very high, until the House of Royalty would discover a dark sludge in one of its uncleaned corners. The cleanup crew that were tasked to fix it were not seen until a few days when a castle was spotted in the midst, identifying it as Drangleic. From there, the greater beings of the House called upon the Bearer of the Curse to explore the kingdom and the surrounding lands, of which a dark child awaited his return.
    • From there, the former residents and knights of the kingdom attacked the Bearer but were slain with ease and would soon stumble upon a barren area known as the Throne of Want. A creature of dark would appear behind him, claiming to join with her in the dark. The two fought and defeated the being, but not until the Pantheon's security soon received reports of other kingdoms spotted nearby, that being Shulva, Brume Tower and Eleum Loyce. He was suddenly teleported by a woman clad in white on the latter, telling him the implication of the entire thing. It was at this moment that the Bearer of the Curse realized that Manus' 'children' have arrived.
  • If there was ever a group that was hated nearly more than Manus in terms of the terrors the Abyss has brought upon various lands, they would most certainly be the case. The Bearer of the Curse was not alone in this regard, as Lord Aldia has spoken his displeased attitude following their arrival. Him and the Children of Dark, more specifically Nashandra, have had a history together though he knew her true nature when she was disguised as the Queen of Drangleic and left to his own work when he knew his brother, King Vendrick was stubborn not to heed his warnings towards her. But he is not alone, as even the Lord of Cinder himself, Lord Gwyn was notified of her arrival following the House of Royalty's sudden shakeup. With the news, he brought himself, his army of Black Knights and his own avatar, the Soul of Cinder to siege their kingdoms and if possible, kill them too. Even his trusted knight, Knight Artorias and fellow Lords of Cinder, the Abyss Watchers have sided with the King to eradicate any of their traces at all cost.
    • While it may be true that the Children are powered by the Abyss, there are some certain complications. Nashandra, Elana and Nadalia are considered evil due to their modus operandi of spreading the Abyss, but others like Alsanna were redeemed by the love of the Ivory King, and Karla has expressed disgust of her origin. In the eyes of Gwyn however, they are linked to the Abyss and whether they like it or not, they will be dealt the same way as their sisters, despite protests from other deities including the Bearer of the Curse and Ashen One, who have testimonies of their innocence.
    • Their links to the Abyss proved to be an asset for people who despised Gwyn's rule which is something King Allant really wants. In addition, while the king of Boletaria is busy plotting an idea merging the efforts of the Fog, Pontiff Sulyvahn's the Deep and a portion of the Children's powers, the Godhand have taken a liking to the Children, as if their interest towards Manus was not bad enough. Zodd was the first to present the news to the others and after evaluating their history, they have deemed them worthy of inviting. That brought with it a cost however, as Guts was not willing to let the Godhand have another group of evils to join them, thankfully he was not alone as both Alsanna and Karla have both agreed to join on Guts' side, which lead to Allant ranting at their presence, even comparing them to the Maiden in Black.
  • The Children have been banned on various Houses but especially on two specific ones: the Houses of Royalty and Love. The former has spoken how the Children's main objectives clash against the neighbors of the subhouse, hearing the stories that befell all the cities they have ruled, especially Nashandra, on the other hand, the latter sees their form of love to be very dangerous. Some are split however as Nashandra and Nadalia's efforts were mostly evil in some way (especially on Nadalia's creepy attempts on doing so), and Elana's love for the Sunken King is very dubious to whether she actually adored her king or not. The only exception to this is Alsanna who seems to be the only one who was redeemed by love thanks to a caring king.
  • In the kingdrom of Drangleic is Queen Nashandra, once a fair maiden who helped saved King Vendrick from the dangers of the giants by warning of their threat to his kingdom. She was then promoted to the queen of the land, until the Undead Curse arrived and Vendrick was focused on the process of a cure, while the queen plotted various events that would entail the slow and painful hollowing of the king and his kingdom, but not before he blocked the pathways to the Throne of Want, the location she wanted to enter. With the help of the Bearer of the Curse, who was unaware of her true intentions, the pathway was soon freed and then her true form was shown, a being in black and empowered by curses, such is the case of a Child of Dark.
    • When people enter Nashandra's temple, they will see various paintings of her in white around the walls. Those who stare at it for too long will see themselves slowly getting cursed and with it, their humanity, a bad omen and a hint to the queen's true nature. Nashandra may look human but underneath all that royal beauty hides a dark image, one made of bodies and a twisted version of her human image. And to those who face her, just be prepared for all the curses she will summon to kill you despite being the weakest of the sisters.
    • Very few deities stand out in Nashandra's quest for the return of her original soul, but when she does find one, she will stop at nothing to take it. This happened during her stroll in the House of Military and Warfare where upon sensing a large presence of dark did she arrive and found to herself with a surprise, a decript knight that was hiding something. Those who know Slave Knight Gael's actions will realize that he ate the Dark Soul and Nashandra wants a piece of the soul in order to reconnect herself with the remaining sisters. Thankfully, security was able to apprehend her before her pursuit began but she intends to get a hold of it before anyone does.
    • Past her kingdom, she has little of allies but has found some that have shared her predicament, namely Lady MacBeth who is arguably the progenitor of wives who manipulate their husbands. The two have seen their attempts and congratulated each other though MacBeth herself has gained interest in the so-called "Throne of Want" the Child of Dark talks about. While the two share common interests, the Queen of Scotland should be careful as the Child has no remorse towards others, all for the sake of returning back to her original form, her included. On a note, Nashandra finds her husband interesting to say the least.
    • "Brave Undead, you have proven yourself to me. Now, be one, with the Dark..."
  • In the depths of the land was a kingdom known as Shulva, otherwise known as the Sanctum City. The city was built around Sinh, the Slumbering Dragon and was governed by the Sunken King and his queen, Elana. All was fine and well until a band of Drakeblood Knights outmatched the kingdom's defenders and awakened Sinh, killing all the residents including the Drakeblood Knights and the Sunken King. Elana was the only survivor and as a result, stayed in the city, bidding her time of revenge by collecting souls from the land and protecting the dragon (or in some cases, using said dragon to accrue more souls).
    • Her domain is completely desolate and filled with poison and muck, possibly due to the nature of the dragon that resided in their kingdom as well as the destruction caused. The damages created by Sinh and the Drakeblood Knights have left her in constant vengeance, plotting the next move as well as ridding of intruders that pass through Shulva. As a result, Elana adopted the environment and slowly formed to control mud and dirt to create her own constructs thanks to her sorcery, hence her being the "Squalid" Queen. These summons includes skeletons, a mud-version of the warrior known as Velstadt, and as rare as it is, three little pigs for some reason. Due to this, Shulva has been restricted of visitors, as is the remaining other kingdoms the Children preside over.
    • While she has plans to control the souls that have died in her place, that has not stopped her on trying out various areas in the Pantheon. So far, she has resided in two areas, the House of Vengeance and the House of Nature. Those two places may fill the void she has such as her playing the long game of revenge by plotting her schemes (and even gaining a few souls here and there), the other being a place where she found a perfect substitute over Sinh, Gogmazios. The Dragon God of Tar is perfect for Elana's form to control and some have spread rumors that the queen is slowly taking a bit of Gogmazios' powers for her own plans.
    • Surprising to her, she found a few dirty fiends she would accept into her rule, first being the pollution spirit Hexxus and Hedorah. The Smog Monster has no form of speech which lead to her just accepting it as a monster that can reside in her rule from time to time but between her and Hexxus, it is an interesting case. The avatar of pollution has taken very sharp eyes towards her despite knowing her tempermental she is, afterall she is an augur of wrath out of her sisters. She has accepted Hexxus to be her "knight" but that depends if he is willing to either follow her of use her for his own means of spreading pollution faster.
    • "You... Forever, you shall rot."
  • On the farther lands near a volcano lies Brume Tower, the once lively kingdom of the Old Iron King. There, a Child of Dark named Nadalia went to the lands to woo the king but to her surprise, the king was missing and no one was in the land. Giving in to her despair, she split her soul apart and stored it to various parts of the tower, turning it to ashen idols. After such, she turned herself into a swirling black fog, allowing the revival of the slain warriors of the land to serve her. Since then, Brume Tower had become Nadalia's homeland, and has even welcomed one visitor in the form of Sir Raime, the exiled Drangleic knight to become her loyal guardian, the Fume Knight.
    • This Child of Dark is rather unique, as she has no physical form to speak of, instead her entire self has been convered throughout Brume Tower as with the location's foggy atmosphere. Her soul has been split to various ashen idols, all which whisper a weird chant that few can decipher. When it was deciphered, it is the stuff of nightmares, it is her trying to romanticize anyone on their way to the tower, something the Bearer of the Curse can attest to. As for her soul, all are within the ashen idols, minus one, that being sealed within the Fume Knight's Greatsword.
    • Out of all the sisters, Nadalia is possibly the strongest of the bunch, and her work on Brume Tower shows this. The fact that she is able to control a large area and animate various armors and lost souls to her bidding is impressive. Any miracle her idols create will do far more greater effect than those summoned by the Bearer of the Curse and her control over the fog is very strong that other fog-based users may not be able to control their own. Her power would soon attract Emperor Ganishka and Smoke as her fog impressed the two, with Ganishka seeing her power over the Tower to be an achievement, though it can hardly be considered an achievement if Nadalia is in despair after the loss of a potential king.
    • "Let me surround you."
  • On the northern frigid outskirts came the kingdom of Eleum Loyce where a mysterious Child of Dark would arrive on her mission like the rest of her sisters. In what would have been an attempt to bring the kingdom the ruin, she was instead accepted by the Ivory King who was the ruler at the time and as a result, abandoned her original intentions, becoming the oracle of the land. Then the Old Chaos arrived and soon the land was torn apart, forcing the warriors of Eleum Loyce to fight it, alongside the King. However, no warrior has returned back from the Old Chaos, and soon the kingdom was lifeless. Alsanna, willfully waiting for the King's return, would control the raging flames, all until the King's soul was laid to rest.
    • "Go on, kind visitor. May you reach your journey's end, one day."
  • As years past, when the Ashen One was travelling to Irithyll of the Boreal Valley and travered to the dungeons did he encounter another Child of Dark, however she too left her original plans but remained disgusted of her own form, and was left in a cell. Upon being rescued, she would soon pledge herself to the Ashen One, giving him various spells and sorceries while also telling her own past. This Child of Dark, Karla, knew of her heritage but despised it but decided to take the Ashen One as her apprentice (unless you count her being Zullie the Witch).
    • From the remaining other sisters, she refuses to talk to most people out of terror possibly to avoid letting others know she is a Child herself, an unfortunate burden she has to carry throughout her life. Pantheon residents are usually accepting of many people, well some at the very least, but she has been reserved herself. She has accepted the Ashen One's request and has been slowly getting out of her own fears. Some speculate that she is Zullie the Witch, who sought to ruin the wayfarer known as Alva but ended up helping him until she disappeared. She has not responded to this matter.
    • While the Ashen One is willing to allow visitors to enter Firelink Shrine, few have taken interest in Karla due to her ragged looks. There was one time where a wee witch named Atsuko went to her and asked for some of her magic tricks, of which she denied until the latter kept begging her and decided to teach her some of her sorceries, which includes various dark spells, miracles and even pyromancy. She has hesitation with miracles as out of all the discipline magic systems she has a hard time interpreting miracles but she can try with a few attempts or so.
    • "You're here to save me...? But I am guilty. A wretched child of the Abyss. Is that something you can forgive?"

I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!

[up][up][up] Besides Xehanort's whole crazy time travelling to make himself an army of alternates, Shockwave also went through a similar experience in the IDW continuity: an accident lead him to travel back in time, where he became Onyx Prime, a notorious leader mentioned in legends, then arranged things to make sure history would go on exactly as it was recorded up to the point where he left. Including him being brainwashed into the monstrously evil scientist he became.

Huh apparently Jump Rope Antics was unlaunched and sent back to TLP. Took them a decade to notice how bad it was lol.

Sooo apparently that's why Playtime from Baldi is nowhere to be found. She was removed.

I will back to that eventually, im trying to think of something so i can shove all the baldi enemies into a single profile (sans Baldi of course)

Decided to brush this old profile off.

For summary, Dr. Zed is the guy who runs the healing vending machines on Pandora, and is generally one of the more morally sound vendors in the series, not that it says a lot. Notably, he completely lacks a PHD of any kind, meaning that his whole operation is technically illegal. This doesn’t stop him from practicing surgery despite this, even if he’s complete shit at it. Oh, and in his spare time, he likes to create creature hybrids for no reason. Any interactions we could get from this?

Zed Blanco, God of Sketchy Doctors

  • Portifolio: Back-Alley Doctor, One of The More Moral Vendors, Runs Healing Vending Machines, Creates Hybrids For No Reason, Messy Surgeries, Absent In The Third Game
  • Domains: Doctors, Jobs, License, Vendors
  • Allies: The Crimson Raiders, Claptrap, Marcus
  • Enemies: Handsome Jack
  • It goes without saying that, on a world like Pandora, you're gonna need a consistent way of healing yourself. Thankfully, throughout the planet, as well as a few others, you can find vending machines that dispense instant healing syringes, regenerating shields, and even some Class Mods, allowing any mercenary to live just a little bit longer. The man who runs these is one Dr. Zed, a doctor who, despite loosing his medical license long ago, still continues to heal and help those in need, even if his skills in surgery leave a lot to desired. As such, he's been a useful ally to the Crimson Raiders, always willing to lend a hand to help them against a bigger threat, and even if he's not there physically, his machines are still there to help. Just be aware that he doesn't have a medical license.
  • You can thank his fellow vendor Marcus for getting him ascended. In short, it was a ploy by Marcus to gain more reoccurring customers, figuring that if any mercenaries that buy from him survive long enough, they would come back and by more guns, thus equalling more profit. The problem was that people who bought from him had the odd issue of dying shortly afterwards (Many gods tried pointing out that the problem was how faulty the guns were, but Marcus didn't really care), so he simply decided to ascend the best doctor vendor he knew, which of course happened to be Zed. And thus, after putting up a convincing argument in Zed's favor, pointing out how successful Zed was despite the lack of a license, the doctor entered the Pantheon, eager to find some more customers.
    • Naturally, as soon as he entered, he set up his Vending Machines all over the Pantheon, with anyone able to use them as long as they have the cash to do so. These machines prove to be genuinely useful, not only containing Insta-Heal syringes, but also regenerating shields and powerful Class Mods. If one is inclined, they can visit Dr. Zed in person, who's located over with his best customers, the Crimson Raiders, to get treated by the man himself. Just be warned that, again, He doesn't have a license.

[up][up] The Medic is another very sketchy doctor who loves to do crazy experiments. I'm sure they'd love to cooperate on projects.
