Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

What more should I add to these two?

Autochthon, God of Vast, Industrial Complexes (The Great Maker, The Machine God, The King of All Craftsmen, Autochthonia, Autobot, Auto-kun)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/auto_kun_6.jpg
An altar of the Primordial
  • Note: Restoration
  • House: Locations (House of Locations and Settings)
  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: Six stylized gears representing Orichalcum, Moonsilver, Starmetal, Jade, Soulsteel, and Adamant
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Portfolio: Living, Divine Eternal Engine, Mechanical Abomination, Absolute Mastery of Craftsmanship, The Magical Materials, Order and Efficiency, Steampunk, Ditzy Genius, Ambiguous Autism, Rebelled Against The Primordials For Bullying Him, Ditzy Genius, Professor Guinea Pig
  • Domains: Artifice, Craft, Creation, Knowledge, Law, Science, Metal
  • Allies: The Unconquered Sun, Primus and the Autobots, Vulcan, Prometheus, Dr Viktor, Roboking, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Church of the Broken God, Miles "Tails" Prower
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: The Emperor of Mankind
  • Odd Friendship with: Empress Nero Claudius, Marvin the Paranoid Android
  • On speaking terms with: The Grand United Alliance of Machines, the House of Machinery and Technology (like SCP-079)
  • Rival: The Vex (on their end)
  • Enemies: The Ebon Dragon, Unicron, Magla'droth of the C'Tan, Fused Zamasu, Nom Anor, The Sarkic Cults, Dr Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, The Flood (Halo), The Divine Powers
  • On poor terms with: The SCP Foundation
  • Autochthonia is an Eternal Engine realm of Magitek and Steampunk, consisting of tubes, cables, gears and conduits. It is also a Primordial. The weakest of the Primordials, belittled and bullied by his siblings for his weak health caused by cancerous Voidtech. When the gods rebelled, he sided with them. Out of the calamitous war, he in his guilt went into exile from Creation. Though undeniably brilliant, he possesses all the foresight of a blind lemming.
  • Autochthon's absolute mastery of technology of all sorts once made him the head of the House of Machinery and Technology. Much of the tech here was his own work, and many of the greatest engineers in the house studied under him. But those days were long past...until he had heard that two other of his Exalted brethren eventually made their return. Though he rarely leaves his interdimensional temple, an argument for his return was made by fellow machine-god Primus who saw great potential in the Primordial. An embodiment of machinery he is fond of Transformers as a whole, mainly the Autobots, and was happy to see the House of Machinery and Technology still cared about him. The Great Maker is well aware of the similarities he and Primus have, which is part of why they've chosen to ally with one another. It's also part of why he regards Unicron as a mortal foe.
  • The Primordial is very similar to Vulcan/Hepheastus. The two are crippled, genius inventors who are bullied and made laughing stocks of their kind. As far as Autochthon is concerned, the only two major differences between them is a)Vulcan is a more competent inventor and b)he remains loyal to his family. Obviously he's not proud of the latter, and along with his championing of the human spirit this guilt is why he adamantly rejects taking the side of the Divine Powers; he does not want another war. Due to this his past bullying the Great Maker has a soft spot for Rudolph. How he feels about his master Santa Claus hasn't been revealed yet.
  • Still guilty over his betrayal of his fellow Primordials, Autochthon tries not to take sides. However he does admit to being fond of the GUAM. This isn't to say that he believes in machine superiority, and doesn't approve of the actions of more ruthless members like SKYNET, and is in fact an advocate of humanity. However he regards machinery like his children and has a clear fondness for technology. So long as they don't try to harm or seriously exploit him members of the GUAM are welcome to study. The nicer and nobler demons wholly accept this. The Church of the Broken God are in awe of Autochthon and believe he may guide them to enlightenment.
  • Despite his tremendous power, Autochthon has a serious physical ailment that will one day kill him; Voidtech. It's an Oblivion-fueled cancer that infects and defiles his mechanical body with organic matter. He used to be able to treat it without much difficulty, but following his slumber it has seriously endangered the Primordial. The Sarkic Cults are of the belief that they should exacerbate this corruption due to their views on technology. The Machine God regards the Flood as similarly cancerous force and has been designing new methods of purging malignant tissues. The GUAM has been further motivated to behave around him by trying to convince him to improve and fix them if need be.
  • The Church of the Broken God seeks to cure him of his cancer so he may restore their god Mekhane back in full, however there is another serious issue they'd have to overcome afterwards; being an idiot. The SCP Foundation is always keeping an eye on whatever his new inventions may be as a number of them are anomalous and dangerous. In spite, or perhaps because of his awkwardness and ineptitude he likes hanging out with Nero Claudius and her artwork. As much as a grump like Marvin can get along with anyone, he and Autochthon are cordial over their shared experience with pain, misfortune, and the Primordials' bond to all machinery.
  • The inventor of the Exaltation is an advocate of humanity in general, which is why despite being a deity he and the Emperor of Mankind get along relatively well...even if he's deeply frustrated by Autochthon's incompetence and unreliability. The being was first brought to the Imperium of Mankind's attention due some of the Adeptus Mechanicus speculating he and the Omnissiah were connected. Autochthon could be considered a Good Counterpart to Mag'ladroth the Void Dragon, as they are ancient machine gods, however nothing about the latter bodes well for humanity. The King of All Craftsmen has sworn to ensure what plans the Void Dragon have are to be thwarted.
  • Though quick to judge just about anyone outside himself, Zamasu takes special umbridge towards Autochthon. He can't imagine him supporting mortals and has accused him for being an inept god who spread evil to mortals with his technology and knowledge. Though he's correct to call the Machine God as inept, Autochthon immediately pointed out his villainy and hypocrisy and has chosen not to listen to his ramblings anymore. Prometheus applauded this, and in contrast gave Auto-kun constructive criticism. The two bonded over their love-hate relationship with their pantheon, fondness for mortals and gift of knowledge.
  • The Celestials are curious about him as a cosmic inventor, a precursor-like entity and a primordial being, however he has no interest in being part of whatever their plan is. He has similar disinterest in the Vex, however they are deeply interested in him and trying to persuade him to aid in their subverting of reality to their own interests.
  • Dr Eggman adores the technology and power associated with the living Eternal Engine, but as that interest would inevitably lead to him trying to weaponize himnote  they expected to fall into conflict with one another. By contrast Dr Viktor may be evil, but he treats Autochthon with respect and fascination of his invention. Tails had a far more innocent respect for Autochthon as an inventor of gadgets, along with an experience dealing with his environment due to his opposition with Eggman.

Takuma Sakazaki was dropped??

EDIT: Yup. He was. I was going to redo his file too.

So...he had Paper-Thin Disguise, as everyone knew who he was behind the Tengu Mask. Will that work for him?

EDIT 2: Whoops. Takuma had Action Dad and Secret Identity.

Will those work?

[up] Please add more detail into the description. Also keep in mind that Octodad is currently using said trope.

[up][up] Any idea of what Autochthon would think of the cast of Mega Man, as well as Mecha Pilots? Specifically Kouji Kabuto and Ryoma Nagare, with their connection to Mazinger ZERO and The Getter Emperor respectively.

@Rmpdc I think Nemesis would be very interested to see what Schwarz Sonne has to offer in technology/weaponry, and vice versa.

@Mattman maybe mention some other maids and butlers like Sebastian Michaelis, Alfred Pennyworth, Hayate Ayasaki, Valkenhayn R. Hellsing, Hildegarde and Sakuya Izayoi.

@nightelf37 since Kumiko is a Psychologist Teacher, she'd probably want to do something to help poor Shinji. And with her history in dealing with delinquent students, maybe an interaction with Tatsumi Oga, The Tōhōshinki and Kenji Kazama. For Dr. Hell, how about mentioning Ryoma Nagare? He's a frequent ally and friend to Kouji in the various crossovers they've had and had been in. Dr. Hell was there in the Super Robot Wars, so I think it's fair to say he's enemies with everyone in the GUAG Robot War Division.

  • Enemies: Fatalis, Rathalos and Rathian, Deviljho, Astalos, The Brontosaurus, Rampardos, The Gang of Seven, Neweye's Dinosaurs, Gwangi, The Herd, Big Al, The Carnotaurs, Sharptooth,One-Eye, King Kong, Hunter J.
  • Intrigue: Ian Malcolm, Alan Grant, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger.
  • Oppose: The Monster Hunters, Big Boss.
  • In a world filled with monsters there are many ways that the creatures hunt: Some use brute strength to bring down prey with one blow, others use elemental powers to hunt more efficiently and some others instead hunt with a pack of lesser members. Such monsters are usually Raptorial Bird Wyverns, too weak on their own to fight bigger threats but quite more capable with a pack. Other examples are lesser Fanged Wyverns. Though not the strongest monsters by any measure, they're still quite the threat for unprepared/inexperienced hunters.
  • They were ascended into the Pantheon in an attempted orderly, calm way. For the most part they were cooperative and settled on their House without issue... Until they decided to start fighting one another and caused a massive brawl in their houses and nearby. Though their particularly notable weakness to stronger forces made corralling them back in order an easy task to do. Eventually they settled on making territories for each of their packs, and have somewhat remained in peace ever since.
  • The pack hunters all have an instinctual opposition to the Hunters, who kill and capture many of their kind in their universe and use their parts for their weapons. That said, they often get distracted by trying to target another bigger target when the chance comes up. At the same time, the Hunters have made it clear that unlike most others, they won't hunt the big game monsters beyond necessary and are content to leave them be in the Pantheon if they don't try and stir up trouble in the Houses and Halls.
  • The Velocidrome has previously encountered Big Boss, along with the Velociprey packs. Big Boss still remembers mowing down masses of them and was annoyed at seeing their presence in the Pantheon given their horrible screeching, appearances, tendency to jump people at random and aggressive behavior towards everything else. While he won't go out of his way to hunt them, given he has bigger matters to care about than some lizards on the place, he will definitely hunt them down if they get in the way of his work or goals.
  • They don't like anything else in their territory, no ifs and or buts, as such any who dares trespass into their turf is either vulnerable to an ambush attack... Or is bound to create a massacre of creatures. But few are willing to enter these places, as they either don't care about these creatures or are actually intimidated by them due to lacking the means to fight them. A few examples of those willing to cross can be found in the powerful Deviljho, a monster of their world that will eat anything it can and thus cares nothing for territories and intruding. While most of the pack hunters fall to this mighty beast, one stands above them as the superior to Deviljho: The Greatest Jagras, an unusually big monster that can absolutely overpower the saurian beast and force it to give it a wide berth.
  • The Velocidrome and Great Jaggi found a peculiar direct rival in the Raptor Squad, a group of four genetically engineered raptors that hunt with extreme precision and deadliness. Blue has taken up on the challenges of the Bird Wyverns with her pack engaging in brutal clashes that leave grievous injuries on all sides, though often stands down when overwhelmed by numbers or exhaustion. Blue and her pack do avoid most of the others, knowing that the Gendrome, Iodrome, Giadrome, Great Baggi, Great Wroggi, Great Jagras, Great Girros and Great Izuchi are all armed with body parts or elements that grant them an immediate advantage over them that they can't expect to overcome.
  • They also immediately got tussling with the big dinosaurs such as Rexy, the Spinosaurus and Indominus Rex. While the big predators are mostly capable of overcoming their foes, they all avoid the big and strong Greatest Jagras, whose strength in the physical department is unmatched by them and is easily capable of swallowing them whole without impunity. The Indoraptor, close relative of Indominus, has taken to to challenging the Alphas for fun, often goading their far less intelligent brains into going berserk so it can get a good fight.
  • The Gendrome have made an enmity with the lions in the Pantheon particularly Simba, Mufasa and Scar. This is due to the fact that its Genprey brethren have often fights with lions in their world. Simba has mostly done so in self-defense while Scar welcomes the challenges and even has thought of allying with them, though discarded that due to them being even dumber than the hyenas and much more dangerous as a result since they don't even show a capacity to understand loyalty.
  • These creatures were quite the puzzle for scientists and dinosaur enthusiasts given that most of them are raptor-like creatures with bizarre adaptations and shapes. First of these people was Alan Grant who was quite shocked by how much more deranged these creatures were in appearance than even the likes of the raptors he's faced over the years, while being interested in learning the exact nature of their evolution and development of powers and skills, given his own ongoing investigations on the nature of dinosaur evolution.
  • They've made quite the enemies on the Pantheon, firstly notable is the Gang of Seven, a group of young dinosaurs who had to contend with several deadly predators and are very wary of these "Sharptooths" who are relentless, have abilities that are otherwordly for them and quite more dangerous than any foe they've faced. Speaking of which, the Sharptooth has not taken well to their presence and will often fight them if they cross paths, to remove possible threats, though like Deviljho he will turn tail and run if he meets up with the Greatest Jagras.
  • The Great Jagras is surprisingly calm when not on the hunt or threatened and is even a caring leader for its troops, this made approaching it an easier job than usual. One of the first humans to make non-hostile contact with it was Steve Irwin, who has experience dealing with all kinds of aggressive beasts and was quite quick to befriend the colossal Fanged Wyvern, who afterwards met Steve's close allies and also befriended them. No such luck was fully had with the other pack leaders, as they are generally more irritable, though Steve at least got to make them not attack him on sight and even have them tolerate his presence greatly to the point that he can freely roam and even stay in their turf for some days.
  • The Herd has dealt with raptorian creatures in their world during various adventures, and these creatures were not too dissimilar either, especially as the Giadrome and Great Baggi felt a drive to attack Manny due to their preference for mammoth-like creatures such as the Popo in their world. While the Herd often prefers to run away, Manny at times does stand his ground with the others and even has been receiving help lately from Gammoth, who loathes these critters and does not tolerate seeing another creature fall prey to them.
  • The Kyoryuger were interested in these creatures, given that most of them are essentially Living Dinosaurs, Daigo attempted to befriend them, starting with the practically red-colored Great Jaggi and Izuchi, though had to rough them up a bit to dissuade an initial assault due to their aggressive behavior. While not much in the way of a friendship came out of it, at least the duo are willing to let the Kyoryugers get close as a result of this meeting.
  • King Kong has many times fended off these creatures' attacks, often when crossing their territories on a trek or when having a coincidental meeting while exploring the Pantheon, the repeated happenings of this incident has led to a rather fierce enmity developing between both parties but often leading to multiple dead critters and a pissed off Kong afterwards. Otherwise Kong has gotten along with the Great Jagras due to its more passive behavior, as well as its bigger version who has helped it fight off the Deviljho on ocassions.
  • Raptor Red was yet another rival to the raptorian alphas, Red sees them as a threat to herself and her brood or others she cares for. Out of these rivals she has the most bitter one towards the Velocidrome for its constantly aggressive behavior and tendency to try and chase her out of her own territory to install himself and his own brood on it, though she ultimately only views fighting it as a self-defense approach. Riptor was another raptor who also got up to challenging these creatures, and unlike Red it takes all due pleasure in retaliating.
  • Fluttershy's ability to communicate and empathize with animals let her get close to the monsters without a bloodshed ensuing. She has at times been disturbed by their extremely aggressive predatory ways, but has come to respect this given the kind of world they live in, at the least she's happy that she can peacefully coexist with the Great Jagras and its kind with proper care and without the need for a long, arduous process of using gestures to win them over. Fluttershy has also taken interest in learning the way they socialize given that beneath the typical alpha and pack relationship there seems to be some sort of developed social interaction.
  • Their hides and organs are valuable for various reasons, including food, money from the "gems" that can form in their bodies or even as exotic pets or attack animals. This all has made them quite the popular targets for many hunters in the houses throughout the Pantheon, but the main one was Hunter J, someone who specializes in catching and selling powerful creatures and finds the pack hunters to be quite the easy prey to subdue and sell on the Black Market. This has made the creatures hostile to her presence and quite wary as well due to her Pokémon's power.
  • As with every other creature of their world, they are all afraid of the higher-level Elder Dragons; most especially Fatalis, the Black Dragon whose power and cruelty is unmatched. Fatalis can particularly enjoy singling them out as their overall weaker power makes them quite the playthings for its sadism. A Fatalis' presence is sure to make even the most bold of these hunters keel over and run away rather than stay and fight, to the point that they'll cease any and all hostilities toward other creatures just to seek shelter.
  • All of them have the capacity to turn into Monsties, Pokémon-like creatures that bond with their masters and can fight for them against other Monsties or threats. Many have gotten interested in getting one of them as a partner. One of these interested deities was Ash Ketchum, who believes that he can be at least befriend one of them since he thinks they must have a nicer side underneath the usual aggressive behavior of their kinds. At least he's confident that could work out with the Jagras, but won't push it much.

[up][up][tup].

Yeah, the last two days have been pretty dull, even by dull day standards AFAIK. Leaving behind my Soul Calibur Trio draft here in case anyone has a suggestion or idea to say.

Anyway, another beta draft and this one was a long-one coming. It's Team-Dai-Gurren. I'm in bed as of writing this, so, unfortunately, I can't be noting down particular suggestions, so the best thing I can say is looking into the characters' individual profiles and seeing the information there.

Either way, any other additional ideas, and suggestions are welcome.

Kumiko Yamaguchi, Goddess of Psychologist Teachers (Yankumi, Mr. X, Gokusen, Kumicho, Masked Fighter)

  • Opposes: Yui Ikari
  • Opposed by: Tatsu Yamashiro/Katana
  • Respects: Draco Malfoy
  • Conflicting Opinion: Albus Dumbledore
  • Teachers are supposed to help their students be prepared for the real world after graduation. Some of them take the extra mile and help their students with all sorts of social issues. No degree of psychology actually required, that's what defines a Psychologist Teacher.
  • Kumiko Yamaguchi, fresh out of university, applied for a job as a teacher in Shirokin High School, an all-boys school renowned for being full of delinquents. She was put in charge of the worst class in the school — class 2-D, but despite their rowdiness, she was more than equipped enough to handle any trouble a bunch of snot-nosed kids can cause, given that she's an heriess to a Yakuza clannote , which she keeps secret (though she and the whole clan weren't that good at keeping secrets) due to schools being intolerant of gangs and people of dangerous backgrounds though the principal turns out to have hired her specifically due to her background, and the entire school eventually finds out near the end, but preferred to keep her either way. Throughout the rest of the series, Kumiko wins over her originally mistrustful students and improves their lives for the better, both through talking things out with them and a helpful dose of the Yakuza code.
  • Kumiko's reason for being a teacher is because of back when her younger adopted siblings were allowed to graduate as long as they don't attend the graduation ceremony. After realizing that schools have been forgetting the real value of students and throwing out those who don't abide by the group rule, she decided she would help those impoverished students.
  • It was the end of another day at Shirokin teaching delinquents when she arrives home, only to see a mysterious person with a letter of recommendation to a place called Elysium Academy. They told her to read it in private before she makes any decisions. One private read later, she found the offer acceptable and eventually earned a spot in the Pantheon.
  • Just to get things out of the way, her Yakuza background is now made known from the start, given how poorly she and her clan are at keeping secrets, even if she might try to pass it off as being a fan of Yakuza media. And because the students for the most part are far smarter than Shirokin's (not that that's hard), and some of the idiots might not even notice any facade she might try to pull off, it would be disrespectful to assume they're fools. That said, they're not that ciritcal of her background, or at least it's not grounds for beings fired.
  • Thanks to her background and experience with delinquents, she has no problem disciplining them when they get too rampant. She's heard that The Tōhōshinki and Tatsumi Oga are from schools filled with them, just like Shirokin High. Thankfully, they've progressively mellowed out. There's also the case of Kenji Kazama, though given the zaniness of the rest of his school, he at least has an excuse for shouting indoors so many times, and he's still a decent student otherwise.
  • As a teacher who helps with her students' issues, she's gotten along with others who do the same, such as Eikichi Onizuka, Charles Xavier, Gentaro Kisaragi (who himself was a delinquent in his school days, though it's more from much of the elitism of the alumni than anything), and Byleth Eisner (though the whole could-be-either-gender thing was weird).
    • As for Albus Dumbledore however, especially in light of his big plans for Harry and others throughout his years and his past with Grindelward, she's a bit more conflicted in her opinions of him.
    • Koro-sensei is another teacher that has helped his students both academically and personally, and gets along wth him despite his reputation for being an alien and being pervy, not to mention teaching how to assassinate.
  • Having heard of him through other psycologists, and seeing how badly he looks in Elysium Academy classes, Kumiko has a special interest in helping Shinji Ikari and his fellow EVA pilots. Naturally, because of his mistreatment of the boy, she opposes Gendo Ikari, and she doesn't think too highly of Yui Ikari either for her part in manipulating the boy.
  • And of course, there are the nasty teachers, such as Trunchbull (and they get into fights more than once since Agatha has a hatred for twintails, which is how Kumiko wears her hair as a teacher), and Fletcher (for his abusive methods, even if they bear exceptional fruit when it works).
  • As a Yakuza heiress, she can get antsy when it comes to law enforcement. But given her reputation in the mortal realm, she's at a truce with most of them. Of course, there are still the occasional zealot who care not for her non-evil stance, such as Inspector Javert and his allies, who try to arrest her on sight whenever they get the chance.
    • On the other hand, she's had a better encounter with fellow Yakuza deity Kazuma Kiryu after undertaking a rescue mission for one of her students. The Dragon of Dojima had been in the area, and made swift work of the fools that dared get into their crosshairs. They became fast friends after that, him sensing her good heart. (add encounter with Goro Majima?)
    • And then there was Tatsu Yamashiro/Katana, who has a vendetta against ALL people in the Yakuza due to having lost her family to them. After hearing about her from Kiryu, who fended off the vigilante with difficulty one time they crossed paths, Kumiko knew that reasoning with Katana was most definitely out of the question for the time being.
  • There was a short time where she used to moonlight as a vigilante called Mr. X, but has since ceased that activity, prefering to instead help as either a teacher or as a Yakuza heiress. So there's no chance she's going to be confused for another Mr. X (or his daughter Miss Y) anytime soon.
  • When it comes to beating up threats to her students, she's even taken out a demon once. And with so many other supernatural stuff in the Pantheon, there are dangers aplenty of all kinds, so she'll have to pick her battles.
  • With all the jumping and kicking she does, she prefers to not wear skirts due to running the risk of doing a Panty Shot, though she will if she has to. Someone suggested she get some Modesty Shorts for such situations.
  • Got entangled with some of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts after seeing Ryuji, Makoto, and Haru going up against a tough-ish monster and giving them the initiative via a Dynamic Entry flying kick. Once the threat was subdued and taken away, she was formally introduced to the group and what they did, and she turned out to be fully supportive of their cause. After hearing of their backstory, she stated that things would've been very different had she been at Shujin High. On the other hand, given her background, it's unlikely she would've been applicable as a teacher there anyway due to Kobayakawa not wanting someone in the yakuza as a teacher, even if he's part of the same conspiracy that had Kaneshiro in its payroll.
  • Dislikes restrictive parents who think they can do whatever they please to their children, given Shin suffered that treatment under his father (before they and Kumiko eventually came to an understanding).
  • Opposes children who abuse the power of their parents' influence (particularly authority over use of gangs) to do whatever they please, as well as parents who don't rein them in. Kumiko used to be bullied due to her background, but she never used her clan's name or asked them for help, because she believes it won't foster respect and loyalty.
    • She holds great disdain for Lucius Malfoy because of this, while respecting his son Draco for moving away from that line of thinking.
  • Is enemies with the Death Busters, as they are aliens who used a School for Scheming (founded by their Mad Scientist, Professor Souichi Tomoe/Germatoid) as a front while they worked to summon their boss Pharaoh 90 and awaken Mistress Nine. On top of their omnicidal ambitions, she isn't happy that said school is in the Pantheon as their temple.

Dr. Wilhelm Von Hell, God of Intellectuals Surrounded With Ineptitude (Great Marshall of Hell, Dr. Demon, Doctor Infierno, Mariscal Infierno)

Karl Fairburne, William J. Blaskowicz
  • For an Evil Overlord, when it comes to hiring help, it can be hard to find those competent enough. Or at least those who don't eventually intend to overthrow him. And thus one tends to be Surrounded by Idiots as a result.
  • Dr. Wilhelm von Hell is a Mad Scientist with a desire to Take Over the World. Unfortunately, his lieutenants Baron Ashura and Count Brocken often bicker for his favor, often at the cost of whatever Mechanical Beast dispatched, and the Iron Mask and Iron Cross Armies weren't that brilliant either.
    • In terms of backstory, Dr. Hell was a German born to parents who would grow to reject him. He would be friendless even in school, being isolated by his intelligence, before meeting fellow to-be-scientists Juzo Kabuto and Yumiko Shiozai. He had his eyes on Yumiko, but she was already won over by Juzo. Hell grew jealous over both this and Kabuto's accomplishments, and eventually left them in disgust. He would join the Nazis in World War II as a field medic and weapon scientist. There he met Count Brocken and kept his war crimes a secret in exchange for financing for his projects. After the war, he became an archaeologist, and found a pair of bodies each broken on one side of their bodies (though one source claims he damaged them on purpose). He would fuse the intact halves into a single entity, and they would be named Baron Ashura.
    • In one of his later discoveries, Dr. Hell uncovered the island Bardos, but to find out if the legends he read about the island are true, he contacted other scientists, including Juzo Kabuto. But even when Juzo found out about Dr. Hell's plan, Hell forced the scientists to complete the Talos giants before having them all killed. Juzo was the only one to survive as he barely managed to escape. Dr. Hell would then awaken the Mechanical Beasts within the island and modify them before sending them out to conquer the world. His focus would eventually shift to Juzo after discovering his survival and Dr. Hell sent his forces to assassinate him. While this was mostly successful, he didn't count on one of his last creations Mazinger Z rearing its head, with Juzo's grandson Kouji at the controls. This would drive Hell into obsession to destroy/claim the giant robot as well as the Japanium ore in the Photoatomic Research Institute to build an unstoppable Mechanical Beast to take over the world.
    • After a few years of the same routine of sending and losing one (or two) Mechanical Beast(s) after the other, the Institute eventually decided enough was enough, found Dr. Hell's base, and sent Mazinger Z and allies to storm the fortress and put an end to Dr. Hell once and for all... only for him to come back much later as the Grand Marshal of Hell in the Mycenae Empire, and thus in opposition to Juzo Kabuto's son Kenzo, and by extension Tetsuya Tsurugi and his allies. They and Kouji would eventually take him out for good this time...
    • ...Until he somehow returned decades later during the events of Mazinger Z: Infinity, where he manages to rebuild and fortify his Mechanical Beasts in a fashion that even Great Mazinger cannot manage to defeat them (it didn't help that there were vital civilian structures in the area where Tetsuya was captured by them). His new goal would be to capture Infinity, a Mazinger-shaped mountain-sized machine found in Mount Fuji, and initiate Goragon, a universal reset in order to observe whether new potential worlds are worthy of existence. However, thanks to Kouji, the rescue of Tetsuya, their now-grown up brother Shiro piloting an Ichinana (a mass-produced Mazinger-shaped mecha), and the world uniting by sharing their Photonic Energy to Mazinger Z, they were able to destroy Infinity and Dr. Hell once and for all, for real this time.
  • It was business as usual in the Pantheon when a titanic island-based mecha was sighted in space, striking SCP-2578-D from behind (given it was usually pointed at the Pantheon itself looking for fascists to shoot) before punching it out of course and into the Sun, though it managed to get a few shots in before being incinerated. The Death Star II barely fared any better, but took much more of a beating due to its size before suffering the same fate. It was only stopped from reaching the Pantheon itself because the Diamond Authority's temple planet was in the way, forcing their fleet and "Mega Diamond" to take him on first.
  • Turns out this was all a ploy by the GUAE to ascend the base timeline Dr. Hell, which was done during the battle against Gordon Hell, having somehow "extracted" from the Dark Multiverse a Shin Mazinger ZERO!Dr. Hell who was successful in his conquest for this. In actuality, Gordon Hell going on a rampage wasn't the GUAE's idea, but someone in it was inspired to ascend Dr. Hell for real during the incident. As for why Dr. Hell fit the trope over all other possible candidates, it's because his attitude to the inteptitude of others not only applies to his subordinates, but to the entire world as well starting from his youth.
  • As for how he is in the Pantheon, his base takes the form of Hell Castle, which used to be part of the Izu islands before he remodeled it in his image. Dr. Hell can also switch between his Grand Marshall and his "regular" human form at will. In terms of subordinates, only Baron Ashura, Count Brocken, and their Iron Masks and Iron Cross armies serve as his heralds. Viscount Pygman was excluded due to his betrayal, and because he was merely a high-ranking subordinate in Mycenae Empire, Archduke Gorgon wasn't included either.
  • He wasn't pleased to needing to work under Melkor, but the Dark Lord providing him means to continually reproduce his Mechanical Beasts was a boon he couldn't ignore. And so one can add them to the giant threats the Pantheon faces regularly. And thus a lot of the Pantheon's mecha pilots and Kaiju that oppose them have another enemy to keep them busy.
    • While the Mazinger cast and their alternate timeline allies (such as Ryoma Nagare) are his main adversaries, he's started to pay special attention to the MEGAS XLR and its crew, not only because of Coop's recklessness and tendency to do a lot of collateral damage, but the mecha being reverse-engineered from alien tech intrigues him as well.
  • Due to his service in the Nazis before his tenure as an archaeologist, HYDRA contacted Dr. Hell for a collaboration. Having been further forced to accept aid, he decided to take them up on their offer. Upon getting a meeting with Red Skull in person though, he found that they were both poor and abused kids who grew up to be dangerous villains, so this alliance isn't that bad.
    • His time in the Nazis has also granted him acceptable interactions with Generalfeldmarschall Franz Vahlen, General Heinz Bohm, and Hauptsturmfuhrer Rudolf von Sturmgeist, who have all spearheaded German wonderweapons development during WWII just like him. There's also Lt. Col. Arnold Berkman, who was from an Alternate Timeline where Nazi Germany is instead a Germanian Empire, but nonetheless helped the Empire develop several wonderweapons to counter Eylstadt's White Witch Izetta, including a clone of the original White Witch Sophie.
    • Naturally, due to his association with these Nazis, he's also become the target of both Nazi hunters and Allied agents, such as The Basterds, Lt. Mike Powell, Lt. Karl Fairburne, and of course, William J. Blaskowicz. They may not pilot giant robots, but them getting tangled with his Iron Mask and Iron Cross forces is still problematic, especially during a Mechanical Beast attack kept busy by an allied mecha.
  • Heard of a timeline where Akira Fudo/Devilman loses his faith in humanity and allows them to destroy themselves, and one where he personally wipes them all out (before unfortunately turning around). Intrigued by this, Dr. Hell is thinking he could try using this (as well as their connection in MazinSaga) to try (that's the key word here) to convert Akira to his side. For now though, he's an enemy due to his ties with Kouji.
  • Used to be a follower of General Zod before becoming a Pantheon god, though as extremely proud villains they naturally don't get along. Additionally, Hell's plans for conquest clashes with Zod's goal of protecting Kryptonian survivors no matter the cost; given Shin Mazinger ZERO's version, Hell would've expanded across planets eventually.
  • Yapool only sees Dr. Hell as a lowly human to be used and discarded, but otherwise cooperates with him by giving some of his Minus Energy, given that it manifests from the negative emotions of all living beings and can be reshaped to create monsters.
  • For reasons he couldn't quite understand, he's found himself with a rivalry in Dr. Eggman, who is an equally recurring mad scientist with a passion for extravagant robot designs. He doesn't think too highly of him however given how frequently he loses to someone without a giant robot, though Sonic and his cadre are counted as enemies as well.
  • In one timeline, Autobots and Decepticons ended up getting entangled in his war against Mazinger Z. Baron Ashura once managed to trick the Autobots to fighting on their behalf, but ended up jumping the gun on betraying them and was eventually forced to retreat. And then the Decepticons showed up with offers to assist, but during the assault, Starscream stole spare Mazinger parts and decided to turn on everyone, forcing everybody to cooperate to stop him, and it ended with the Cybertronians teleporting away to where they came from. Dr. Hell loathes them all as a result.

Apologies for the double post. So I'm going to redo Takuma Sakazaki.

He was the holder of Everybody Knew Already, due to everyone knowing him to be Mr. Karate.

Is that okay with everyone?

[down] He fits because everyone in the KOF universe knows that Takuma is Mr. Karate. There is even dialogue in SVC Chaos that has Mr. Karate denying that he is Takuma.

Plus, it's kinda obvious.

EDIT: Don't believe me? Here you go...

From SVC Chaos:

GEESE: What's with that ridiculous mask? Insulting me, Sakazaki?

KARATE: Don't know Sakazaki. They call me, Mr. Karate, the Karate Goblin...

GEESE: Imbecile.

KARATE: Yeah, but Mr. Karate's no ordinary imbecile... You'll see for yourself!

KARATE: Hey, sonny! If you want to pass, you gotta get by me.

TERRY: Sonny? What gives, Takuma?

KARATE: Silence! I know not Takuma? I'm Mr. Karate!

TERRY: If I were to tear off that mask, I'd know for sure!

[down]x2 The first two were the original tropes he ascended under. Everybody Knew Already was the trope he had before his file was deleted. I checked the history.

@Bale: [tup] for monsters.

@Roku: [tdown] That's your fourth time trying to suggest something for Mr. Karate after the first idea (Paper-Thin Disguise) was taken and the second and third suggestions (Action Dad and Secret Identity) didn't get a response.

Edit: It doesn't change the fact that you still asked if those tropes would work for him, that Paper-Thin Disguise was taken, and the fact you asked for two separate tropes immediately after. Those still counted towards the 3-suggestion limit that new character ideas (whether actually new or if they're old characters to be reinstated) have.

We generally don't allow OC's in the Pantheon with very few exceptions (Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way).

Posting these drafts. Looking for deities who are thieves with no real alignment, those who went from peasants to royalty, good princesses, barbaric conquerors and Arabian deities for the Thief and Cobbler Cast. As for Denham, those who tried to exploit animals for profits or affected by that would help.

  • The year was 1933, and as America struggled through The Great Depression, one man set out to make the movie of a lifetime. His name was Carl Denham, a filmmaker and director known for filming wild animals in exotic locations. In fact, he was so dedicated to the craft that many questioned his sanity but it didn't matter much. Denham had his eyes set on his latest project, a film set on a mysterious island in the Indian Ocean. With a crew assembled, and the lovely Ann Darrow cast as the leading lady, Denham set sailed to this "Skull Island". When they arrived though, that's when things got interesting. The island's indigenous population were discovered to worship a deity known as "Kong" and wished to offer the fair-skinned, golden-haired Ann as a sacrifice. Denham refused to give up his leading lady, but the natives kidnapped her and offered her up to Kong... who just so happened to be a gigantic, gorilla-like ape. Denham, alongside First mate Jack Driscoll, led an expedition to rescue Ann, only for most of them to be slaughtered by the island's many prehistoric inhabitants. While Jack pressed on to find Ann, the filmmaker went back to regroup with a new plan in mind. Using Jack and Ann as bait, Denham used a gas bomb to subdue Kong, before capturing and bringing the ape back to New York City, dubbing Kong, "The Eighth Wonder of The World." Unfortunately, Kong escaped his bindings and went on a rampage through the city, capturing Ann once more before scaling the Empire State Building. It would spell the end for the great ape, as he was gunned down by several airplanes. But as he looked upon the beast's fallen body with regret and sadness, all Carl Denham could say was... "It wasn't the airplanes. It was Beauty killed the Beast."
  • Denham came into the Pantheon sometime after his last adventure in Skull Island, where he encountered the young offspring of Kong and came back to America to clear the many debts that Kong's rampage had caused for him. Upon reaching the place he mostly decided to stick to urban-oriented settings, being shaken up enough from his experiences on Skull Island to try anything else. He also avoids Kong, knowing fully well how guilty he is of the ape's death and suffering in New York and that of his victims.

  • A long time ago a kingdom in the Middle East known as the Golden City lived in peace... But through a series of events involving a cobbler named Tack and a nameless Thief, the city's symbols of peace, the Three Golden Balls, were lost which according to legends signified the end of everything; it was not quite just a legend as at the same time the nefarious One-Eye set his sights on the City, wishing to raze it to the ground. Soon, Tack and the City's Princess, Yum-Yum went on a quest to find an army to fight against One-Eye as well as the treacherous Grand Vizier, Zigzag who sided with One-Eye so as to gain control of the Golden City's remains after his rampage; the Thief also tagged along for his own purposes. Eventually with nothing more than his wits and a tack, the Cobbler managed to defeat Zigzag and stop One-Eye, with the Thief unintentionally helping as well getting pardoned for his crimes and let go free. At the end of this story, Tack married Yum-Yum and everyone lived happily ever after... Until the Thief decided to steal the whole film at the end, that is.

@ Vengeful Bale: Just a suggestion: some of those Pokemon entries could probably do with an update or rework. I'm not going to do them all, but maybe some.

Speaking of potential updates, at some time, I would like to give an update to SCP-106 and SCP-682's profiles if that's OK. With the latter I feel it could do with more interactions to other deities and some more specific enemies. The former I want to factor in more of its Multiple-Choice Past, interactions with other beings and comparable gods. Both also I want to factor in the updated lore.

[down]I'm not sure. Maybe I should leave well enough alone

[up][up][up][up] The Thraddash, while not necessarily conquerors (they'd like to be so, though), are a bumbling barbaric race that uses their primitive starships or any form of warfare to destroy each other, and could be subjugated by One-Eye given sufficient lethal force due to their Might Makes Right philosophy. They also hate thieves in general, given that they own a treasure called the Aqua Helix that they worship. Swiper the Fox also has a problem with impulsive stealing. Also, Zigzag, given his misfortune with alligators, would befriend Captain Hook. Also, the Magi deities could qualify as Arabic deities.

Dumbo, who had problems with an exploitative Jerkass Ringmaster wouldn't like Denham either.

  • An elite unit in the German Luftwaffe during World War II in Europe, the Nemesis Squadron, or Nemesis for short, wased by the enigmatic and mysterious Oberst Krieger. When founded at the onset of the European War, the unit was the Luftwaffe's best fighter group, composed of Germany's top Ace Pilots. Unlike most other Luftwaffe units, whose planes were painted in dark grays, dark greens, and yellows, the aircraft fielded by Nemesis wore a unique paintjob of black with yellow lightning bolts, complemented by their unit logo, a red circle with a black triangle in it. Thanks to these, the unit soon became The Dreaded amongst most Allied airmen during the early way years. Only the Allies' Good Counterpart equivalent, the equally elite Battlehawks, an Eagle Squadron composed of pilots from several occupied European nations and even the United States, were able to stand their ground against them.
  • As the war dragged on and escalated into a World War with Japan's entry, the unit itself, as well as their goals and actions, soon expanded as well, with their officers, scientists, and soldiers helping supply German aircraft and weapons technology to the Empire of Japan (presumably in exchange for Japan's own technological advancements), their forces parttaking in the kidnapping and captivity of various European scientists including one Niels Bohr, and most of all, helping the Third Reich develop and mass produce revolutionary new aircraft and weapons designs, many of which were decades ahead of their time. Unfortunately for Nemesis, these increased actions also drew the unwanted attention of the Allies, in particular their most recurring foe, the Battlehawks.
  • Aside from fielding conventional German fighter aircraft like the Messerschmitt Bf 109 and Focke Wulf Fw 190, Nemesis also fielded various advanced aircraft designs as the tide of war grew against Germany's favor. Most notable amongst these is the Messerschmitt Me 262, the first operational Axis jet fighter. Unlike most other air groups who fielded exclusively bombers or fighters, Nemesis fielded a mix of fighters and bombers as the war dragged on. Interestingly, all of these bombers were Super Prototype vehicles, specifically the Junkers Ju 390, a six-engined heavy bomber capable of bombing targets throughout Europe and even the East Coast of the United States. By 1944, their research and development also extended to rocket technology, in the form of the Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet rocket fighter, and helping further develop the V1 Flying Bomb and V2 Rocket, with the Reich fielding these weapons in sufficient quantity several months ahead of their real-world counterparts.
  • Despite this series of increasingly revolutionary technology and weaponry, including a fully-functioning nuclear bomb by mid-1944, all of Nemesis' research and development were ultimately for naught, thanks to the actions of the SOE and the Battlehawks. Following the Normandy landings on D-Day, which saw Nemesis lose all of their V2 rocket bases in near Cherbourg as well as the losses of a Ju 390 carrying the aforementioned nuclear device, several Mistel drone aircraft, and the Daimler Benz Project C aircraft, the squadron soldiered on, with Krieger and his men apparently continuing to resist the Allies and the Battlehawks until the end of the European War. The Battlehawks themselves acknowledge that they haven't seen the last of Krieger and his men, and with the war now hopeless for the Nazis, their leaders would now pour even more resources into these wonderweapons in a desperate attempt to drive the Allies back.
  • Despite their series of defeats against the Battlehawks and their failure to stop the Allied invasion of Normandy, Nemesis had nonetheless earned the interest of various Nazis within the Pantheon, including but not limited to Johann Schmidt, Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse, Rudolf von Sturmgeist, and General Heinz Bohm. All men had been involved in the development of German wonderweapons in their respective universes, and all of them agreed that having Krieger and the men of Nemesis in the Pantheon would boost their existing air forces and wonderweapons projects significantly. And so, it was decided to ascend Nemesis as a whole into the Pantheon, as the Unholy Squadron of Nazi Secret Weapons Projects.
  • Upon Krieger and his men setting foot in the Pantheon, they are greeted by none other than the aforementioned Nazi officers, who promise the Luftwaffe Colonel unlimited funds and resources to recreate the Secret Weapons projects that they had used in their own universe. Their Temples in the Pantheon would be the Peenemunde, Harz Mountain, and Ju 390 factory Facilities that were originally destroyed by the Battlehawks in their universe, all now fully restored, fully functioning, and recreated in pristine condition within the Pantheon. In exchange, they would also vow loyalty to Schmidt and HYDRA, and have their existing organization expanded with members from the aforementioned organizaton and "Deathshead" Strasse's own men. With this came an influx of even more advanced technology from their respective Alternate Timelines, which would be used to upgrade the squadron's existing aircraft and weapons as well as provide them with completely new designs such as the Valkyrie transatlantic bomber and the .
    • They would also be tasked with continuing the missions that they had done back in their own universe, one of which included he exchanging weapons and technology with their Imperial Japanese allies, who like in Krieger's universe are still in need of a technological edge against the American Marines and Navy. Through Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto and Commander Masataka Shima of the Imperial Japanese Navy, Nemesis, using both U-boats and armed transport ships, would supply their allies with jet engines, as well as surface-to-air, air-to-air, and cruise missiles, while receiving from the Japanese technology relating to naval warfare and shipbuilding, such as Oxygen torpedoes, carrier-based aircraft designs, and several blueprints of existing Japanese warship designs for reverse engineering.
    • There was also the matter of helping the ascended Nazis deal with some of their more powerful enemies, with Izetta in particular proving to be a huge threat following the defeat and repulse of Nazi Forces in the Principality of Eylstadt. Having received reports of the capabilities of Eylstadt's White Witch, particularly when it came to outspeeding most contemporary piston-engined German fighters, Krieger, in addition to upgrading his existing stocks of Me 262 and He P.1078 jet fighters courtesy of "Deathshead's" advanced tech, asks both the aforementioned Nazi General and Rudolf von Sturmgeist for permission to get a hold of their most advanced fighter design, the Horten Ho. IX, which both officers agree to give to the squadron.
  • Among the Nazis' allies who cooperate the most with Nemesis, the most notable would be Sophie and Lt. Col. Arnold Berkman, who were themselves also involved in the creation of weapons similar to the one that Nemesis helped develop. Krieger was particularly impressed by Hexenium, or crystallized and weaponized Magical Energy, noting that it was much easier to produce nuclear weapons with this substance, than with the Heavy Water that his unit had originally used. It would be with this crystallized Magical Energy that would ultimately serve as both a power source and warhead component for their arsenal of V1 Flying Bombs and V2 Rockets, with alternative warheads containing Nova-6 used as well.
    • For that matter, the men of Nemesis also came to respect Sophie herself, who by now was known in the Pantheon as "HYDRA's New Champion". Unlike her Germanian allies, Sophie comes to respect the pilots of Nemesis in return, thanks in part to their aircrafts' ability to keep up with her easily in battle, their competence against opponents being much better than that of any Germanian pilot prior, as well as all of their pilots knowing not to interrupt her fighting mid-battle.
    • Berkman himself was admittedly paranoid of the Oberst at first, having had a bad experience prior with a Germanian Air Force officer named Basler, who had shot out one of his eyes after finding out he had reluctantly betrayed the Germanian Empire. However, upon finding out that Krieger was nothing like the Germanian Air Force officer who had shot him, the Lt. Colonel softens up, and offers his talents and skills to Krieger, even giving the Oberst the vital intel he needs to help take down Izetta.
  • Milleneum as a whole take great interest in their new fellow Nazis, no thanks to Nemesis' large Historical Rap Sheet. Having seen their potential to spread further conflict around the Pantheon (having given the Japanese the ability to fight more evenly against the Americans, for one), they provide the squadron even more funding and assistance, even helping Krieger and his men with regards to bolstering and upgrading their existing stock of V1 Flying Bombs and V2 Rockets by "donating" some of their own to them. On the other end of the spectrum, Nemesis themselves have been impressed by the technology developed by Schwarz Sonne, with theirs being decades ahead of their own already-advanced weaponry. Krieger has made it a point to contact them and ask for access to whatever advanced weaponry they can get their hands on.
  • Immediately, Nemesis makes a noticeable impact on the Axis war effort within the Pantheon, with the number of Hexenium-based wonderweapons and conventionally-powered jet fighters increasing twofold (to the point that any weapons or facilities blown up by Allied air and commando raids are replaced within days rather than weeks or months). In addition, the Japanese are now finally able to field their own jet-powered aircraft (either based on existing Nazi German designs or powered by German jet engines licensed-built by Japanese companies) and use them to launch counterattacks against US ships and island bases. Allied leaders soon realize that, if left unchecked, the Nazis and HYDRA, with Nemesis' now-unlimited resources and budget, would not only threaten all Allied and Soviet theaters of war, but also areas of the Pantheon normally uninvolved in the now Forever War between them and the Axis Powers, potentially causing thousands if not millions of casualties with their new planes, city-busting weapons, and toxic gas.
  • To counter Nemesis' future operations in the Pantheon, several deities, both from Europe and the Pacific, decide to make arrangements to eventually ascend the squadron's Arch-Enemy, the Battlehawks, to counter their contributions to the Axis war effort. For the time being, several Allied units and affiliated deities would prioritize in targeting Nemesis facilities and personnel themselves for the time being. Behind German lines, Allied operatives such as Lt. Mike Powell and Lt. Karl Fairburne, as well as their affiliate B.J. Blaskowicz, would operate behind German lines and either assassinate key Nemesis scientists and officers, capture blueprints and prototypes of various weaponry being developed, and finally sabotage existing stocks and production lines of aircraft and missiles. In the Pacific, pilots such as Lt. Cdr. Dick Best would help sink Nemesis freighters and submarines docked in Japanese-held ports and islands, as well as target Japanese bases and factories either housing the advanced weaponry already planned for frontline deployment. Over the skies of Eylstadt, Izetta, despite being outnumbered and outgunned by Sophie and her new "friends", manages to prevent the deployment of Hexenium-powered missiles by utterly trashing the launch sites and bases where they're housed in.
  • Interestingly, they're not a creation of Steven Spielberg this time around, but rather, indirectly, by George Lucas, specifically by a video game company he had helped create. Despite this, the story where Nemesis came from still bore similar elements to the stories of Lt. Powell, Cpl. Travers, Cpt. Miller, and several of the other deities whose stories originated from Spielberg's ideas, thanks in part to Nemesis' story originally having been a planned installment for the Medal of Honor series.
  • Thanks to their deployment of the Junkers Ju 390 heavy bomber, Nemesis has become the subject of interest for the Bedtime Stories Crew, who previously covered the aircraft in one of their episodes. Specifically, this episode discussed the possibility that the Nazis had not only managed to fly one such aircraft all the way to the East Coast of the United States, but also carried a prototype nuclear weapon that could possibly have obliterated New York City had the flight been successful. Seeing Nemesis not only mass produce the bomber but also similar nuclear bombs as the topic of the episode pretty much confirmed that what they covered was very much real. They end up making a follow-up episode to this one, covering the establishing of Nemesis, a brief biography on its leader Krieger, and their actions both before and after their ascension. Unlike before, however, Richard While, the narrator, ends the episode saying that the worst case scenario was very much real and possible in the Pantheon, creating even more Nightmare Fuel.
