Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

What a wholesome family reunion

Anyone in the pantheon who went to extreme means to ensure their kind survives? Also, is Lordgenome better fit for Combat Skill?

Hinawa, Patron Saint of Sunflowers (Amber)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/761231_hinawa_7.jpg
Hinawa
  • Thumbs: 4 (fasoman1996, nightelf37, Shonen Trash 98, 227someguy)
  • Potential House: Trees and Flowers
  • Quasideity
  • Symbol: A single sunflower. Alternatively, a picture of her with her sons and husband.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Good Parents, Killed Off for Real, Missing Mom to Lucas, those too Pure for the World
  • Domains: Flowers, Mothers, Death
  • Allies: Lucas, Toriel, Frisk, Seita and Setsuko, Flowey and his Confidants, Harry and his Dinosaurs, Bix, Neweyes' Dinosaurs, The Bloom and Doom Seed Co. Plants
  • Opposes: Galeem, Dharkon, Ragyo Kiryuin, Monika Drevis
  • Odd Friendship with: Mufasa, Simba, The Gang of Seven, the Brontosaurus
  • Pities: Flowey, Asgore, those with deceased mothers, Speckles
  • Conflicting Opinion: Porky Minch
  • Wary of: Aya Drevis
  • Avoids: Indominus rex and Indoraptor, One Eye
  • A kind soul, Hinawa was once a human woman who lived with her family in the Nowhere Island. She however, perished after facing a mechanical Tyrannosaurus rex known as a "Mecha Drago", with one of its fangs having pierced her heart. Even so, she appears as a spirit, once to help Lucas escape and once to save Claus from Porky's manipulation.
    • One day, Lucas is exploring the house of Trees and Flowers when he ends up in a vast field of sunflowers. He wanders through the place until eventually, he sees a ghostly woman; Hinawa, his mother. He then aproaches her, crying. After Lucas told them about his mother and her story, the Main Gods decides to make her a Goddess of Sunflowers.
  • Her temple takes the appearance of a vast field of sunflowers. Lucas would often visit it to mingle with his mom and collect flowers, and even allow some friendly deities to enter sometimes.
  • Shortly after her ascension, she finds out about Toriel, who is known for raising a few children, including Frisk. Hearing about her endeavor, she praises them and gets along with the two swimmingly, even comparing the two with herself and Lucas. After this encounter, she found out about Asgore. She pities him, due to his association with golden flowers, like she does, and his actions causing his wife to turn her back on him. She often mingles with him, mainly to comfort him.
  • She usually appears in the Pantheon as a spirit, mainly towards Lucas and most non-hostile child deities. Due to this, she develops a friendship with Mufasa, who also appears in ghost form, despite one being a lion and the other being a human. Incidentally, this also earns her a friendship with Simba. More recently, she could also appear in the Pantheon as a human thanks to some requests from Lucas, allowing him to interact with her better.
  • Surprisingly, she gets along with Flowey, despite his apparent hostility towards her and to the chagrin and bafflement of most. In truth, Flowey is actually not only friendly towards her, he behaves and reminds her very much of Lucas, her own son during his days as a monster. Hinawa sympathizes with him mainly because of his predicament. She was also made aware of his Confidants, and that Frisk leads them.
  • Once, Galeem captured her spirit and forces her into his army of Puppet Fighters. When Hinawa discovered Galeem and Dharkon is in the Pantheon, she doesn't really take it well. Galeem and Dharkon (mainly the former) have become some of the few deities she truly dislikes.
  • Even she felt sorry for Porky Minch to an extent, mainly because of his childhood and backstory, being seemingly on bad terms with his parents and may or may not have been corrupted by Giygas. Still, she doesn't really like him due to him being responsible for her demise.
  • She obviously displays sympathy for those with deceased mothers (or just parents in general). When she heard about the tale of Seita and Setsuko, who have lost their parents and ultimately perished in a war, she appeared before them and told them that she pities and cares about them. They are grateful, and Hinawa will often mingle with them, them treating her as a parent.
  • There are various dinosaurs in the Pantheon similar to the Dragos Hinawa and her children used to play with. Her opinions about them vary:
    • She generally doesn't wander too close to Indominus rex and Indoraptor, since the genetically engineered dinosaurs reminds him of the Mecha-Drago, a cyborg dinosaur that did her in. Others, such as Rexie, can be tolerated by her, though she is wary about them antagonizing Lucas.
    • A dinosaur she does get along with is Littlefoot and the gang. She sympathizes with Littlefoot due to his mother being killed by Sharptooth, similar to her death in the hands of the Mecha-Drago. She's also friends with Harry and his dinosaurs, Bix, and Neweyes' dinosaurs due to them being as friendly as the Dragos back on her island.
    • Another dinosaur she opposes is One Eye, a Tyrannosaurus rex that has killed the mother of Speckles, a Tarbosaurus. She took pity of Speckles for the same reasons as Littlefoot. Especially considering how truly sadistic the dinosaur is in dealing with its prey, she considers him a threat and is worried that he might try to go after Lucas.
    • She heard the story of the Brontosaurus of the Lost World, who was taken away against its will by humans who want to make it an attraction. She felt pity of it, especially considering her homeland dealt with the Pigmasks who does detestable things, such as experimentation, to wildlife, somewhat paralleling what the dinosaur had dealt with. She even sometimes mingles with it.
  • There are a few mothers in the Pantheon she's not fond of. This includes Ragyo Kiryuin and Monika Drevis, the former for doing horrid things to her daughters, such as attacking one of them and throwing the other into the garbage, and betraying humanity to the Life Fibers, the latter for essentially trying to manipulate her daughter and wanting to make her a serial killer. As for Aya herself, Hinawa is a bit wary about her, given her dangerous, even sadistic tendencies such as killing animals, and the possibility that she might attempt to hurt Lucas.
  • Hinawa later found out about some sunflower-related deities here. One such candidate are the Bloom and Doom plants, which she enjoys having company. The Sunflower in particular caught her interest, and she considers them a means of defense against any threats towards Lucas and his allies.

Envoys Of The Singular Hitpoint

A collective of characters who are each a One-Hit-Point Wonder even in the context of the Pantheon. One of their privileges is that unlike most deities, they respawn in a few seconds at the Hall they were last at. Not quite ready yet. Could use more allies, or should I count the Sisterhood already, which I feel needs a rework already? I'm close to considering doing it myself.

Tomomo, Goddess of Party Games ("Magical Tomomo, the Great Ruler of Darkness", Sweet Eater)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tomomo_boss.png
Her "casual" form
Her Sweet Eater form
  • It all began when a midget of a little girl (who already had someone else's melon in hand) got in the middle of lunch between Mario and Peach and took the latter's cake. The pair (plus Eryi) pursued her into a portal, which took them to all manner of dimensions, where they faced off against all manner of characters, such as a dog girl with love for pudding, a Santa bunny girl, a super-fast Super-Soldier, a rocket-firing aviatrix, and a soft-spoken Super-Soldier, playing games with each of them and their companions along the way. Eventually, they reached the midget's master, who introduced herself as "Magical Tomomo, the Great Ruler of Darkness", and issued one last challenge before they can retrieve what Marie Poppo stole. Since the game board they were on could only accommodate four, Mario stepped up to the plate and faced off against the mastermind, her minion, and a megane school boy "self-proclaimed protagonist" named Kai.
    • After achieving victory, once the items were returned (and Eryi immediately leaving), Peach asked Tomomo about her motives, and the "Magical Girl" explained her story. When she heard of the Trope Pantheons (somehow), Tomomo decided to send out Marie Poppo to investigate it. And so a brief series of thefts occurred, though many of them ended with Marie Poppo's neutralization, which was fine since Tomomo had plenty of them to spare. She learned of the tropes available, and decided that Party Game would be the best fit for her and her game. As for why Marie Poppo stole from Mario and Peach (Eryi's was unplanned), she heard of the Mario Party games and wanted the evaluation of her game from those experienced in such games.
    • Verdict: They were actually satisfied with her dice (plus card) game, and (after she explained what exactly the other characters were) Mario and Peach escorted Tomomo to the Court of the Gods for her proper ascension.
  • Upon becoming an official Pantheon goddess, Tomomo got to work on making a version of her game for Pantheon residents to play. Right now, there are two versions.
    • The first one is essentially the same as the game players on Steam are playing right now. Players can participate, but have to take on "stats" of "default characters" based on Tomomo's renditions of Orange_Juice characters, including Original Generation-types such as herself, Marie Poppo, and Kai, among others. Tomomo takes part under "softened stats" since she's playing with friends there.
    • The second is where the players themselves can take part with their own abilities, but will have to be nerfed or buffed for the sake of balance, and a screening process is required so that Tomomo can make sure there's a sense of fair play. They also get "constructs" of themselves for her and others to play against in other games just like the Orange_Juice characters and the Original Generation characters have been. As for her "stats" there, they'll be the same she has used in her "inaugural" match against Mario.
    • No matter the version, three game modes are available: Normal, Co-Op, and Bounty Hunt. In the second version's Co-Op, bosses can take the form of select adversaries seen in the Pantheon (after Tomomo gets their permission to use their appearance if possible), and new effects and decks to match.
  • In regards to those who try out her game, common players include all participants of Party Games, such as the Mario Party players (many of the Mushroom Kingdom denizens (Bowser and his minions included), Princess Daisy, DK and Diddy, Rosalina), White Bomberman, all Crash Bash participants, Nickelodeon Party Blast participants (SpongeBob, Jimmy Neutron, Zim, Eliza Thornberry, CatDog), all SpongeBob SquarePants: Lights, Camera, Pants! participants (Spongebob, plus Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and Plankton) Sonic Shuffle participants (Team Sonic and Amy Rose), the Tamagotchi, and the Pinatas.
    • Conversely, Tomomo also gets invites to partake in Mario Party games at Mario Land for the OG Party Game experience. And yes, she's also gotten frustrated with it.
  • Of course, Tomomo doesn't stay in her domain all the time and goes out in the Pantheon to explore it to acquire more ideas for her game.
    • One of the first she's met is the really friendly Harth Stonebrew, who invited her to his tavern, where she ended up playing a few games of Hearthstone. She also met the Dealer during her time there, who expresses disinterest in her game.
  • Tomomo has an alternate form called "Sweet Eater", one of six gods of sweets in her multiverse (aside from Saki, Sweet Eater, Natsumi, and QP upon ascending as the Goddess of Pudding), and is more powerful than her base form. She cannot access this form without assuming a weaker "casual" form first. At least in her board game.
    • In the Pantheon, it's all but a power-up form for Tomomo; she just needs to get her hands on a bar of (Miracle) Red Bean Ice Cream first. However, if Tomomo is beaten as Sweet Eater, she reverts to her "casual" form, a la de-Digivolution. It would then take a while (and recharge of energy) before she can revert to her better known base form.
  • While she's a Magical Girl, unlike most who get their powers in their (pre-)teens, Tomomo was granted her powers in her mid-20s by "Magical Devil" Mio, who did it because she wanted someone to hang out with her. Unfortunately, her idea of play involves a lot of pain, so Tomomo ditched her to create her board game world and all its denizens, their personalities derived from their real selves at the worlds they originate.from.
    • As such, the GUAG Magical Girl Sisterhood eventually reached out to her with an invitation. Given her interests, she wasn't exactly jumping at the chance, but given the threats in the Pantheon that could mess with her game worlds in ways worse than Mio or Star Breaker, she's willing to lend a hand if she's around.
    • Just like every magic-user, she's been told to avoid Tirek given his ability to absorb magic. And given what Tomomo is already capable of, nobody wants that happening.
  • As her "standard form" Hyper Card indicates, she's capable of performing a move called Magical Massacre, which comes in two variants.
    • One, during a free-for-all, the move incapacitates all units in top (or close-to-top) condition (herself included if it applies to her too), which then boosts the rate in which she gets back on her feet when she gets knocked out (even if it's by Magical Massacre).
    • Two, when she's cooperating with allies against a single "boss-level" foe, the move deals damage to the "boss" for every incapacitated ally.
    • For other engagements, Tomomo had to "experiment", given her games don't lend to much variations. So far, she saw that the first version also applied in battles against hordes and between teams, while the second version also applied against multiple "bosses", the damage being split between them.
    • She also has a couple of other moves as seen from her cards that she can use here:
      • First is Super All-Out Mode, which empowers the first attacks of everybody in the area, (though only for direct engagements, and does not count for area attacks).
      • Second is Serious Battle, which sets herself and her opponent on equal footing in terms of offense, defense, and evasion (vitality remains the same, however) for a short period of time.
    • And Marie Poppo, being Tomomo's minions, is always on call to assist her master (even if she can be just as much of an opponent in her board games), and possesses a few tricks of her own.
      • First up is her Hyper, Ubiquitous, which teleports her over to an opponent to steal something (usually currency or any objective-critical collectible like a Time Gear, a Starite, a Gym Badge, an Intelligence Briefcase, a Piece of the Mekhanites' Broken God, or whatever else she fancies) so she can make off with it, though since it teleports her to whoever she steals from, it means her target is in prime range to get it back just as easily.
      • Second—when she's in Mixed form—is the Subspace Tunnel, where she summons warp panels and teleports to one of them. They stick around for a while for Poppo to use, but others can use it too.
  • Tomomo doesn't like those who would mess up her world to do as they please, especially if they want to make it bloody as her "mama" Mio did when she intruded on her game worlds. Love Machine is at the top of that list given everything it's done.
    • This also extends to parents who believe they're within their rights to use their children's resources/creations however they like, just like how Mio also rationalized her actions against Tomomo's worlds.
    • She's been called out a few times for rigging dice rolls in her favor in her boss battle. Her response is that that is natural for a Final Boss, and that at least she's still beatable there.
  • Is deathly afraid of Esdeath, who is a far, far, worse sadist than Mio, on top of the whole idea of perpetuating war just to satisfy her bloodlust.

Let's begin the operation!

Dr. Derek Stiles and Nurse Angela "Angie" Thompson Co-Deities of Medical Games (Derek: Kousuke Tsukimori | Angie: Angela Blackwell, Ange Tonegawa Amou)

    • Derek:
    • Angie:
  • Rivals:
  • Enemies: Thrax, Nurgle, those who advocate death, Facehuggers,
    • Derek:
    • Angie:
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork:
  • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that have various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.) other than allies, rivals, or enemies.
  • Respected by/Respects:
  • Pitied by/Pities:
  • Opposed by/Opposes:
  • Conflicting Opinion: The Medic (Derek can tolerate him, Angie despises him)
  • Usually, in most games, healing is not a big issue, and can be solved with potions, food, sleep, or exiting combat. Sometimes, it takes a bit of effort, or it's just plain impossible to get sick or injured (though death is still an option). In a Medical Game, the treatment of illnesses/injuries/infections is the main point. Enter the Trauma Center games.
  • Derek Stiles grew up in Northridge, a suburb just outside Angeles Bay. After losing his father to an incurable disease (and losing his cat in a car accident before or after that), this started his resolve to become a doctor. His story begins as a surgeon at Hope Hospital in Angeles Bay, just about to complete his residency there and eager to start operating as a full time surgeon. He used to have the assistance of Nurse Mary Fulton before she had to transfer to another hospital, newcomer nurse Angela Thompson taking her place as Derek's aide. While mostly professional, Angie also tends to be moody and prone to outbursts, but is still just as dedicated to her job as Derek is.
    • Their story begins in full force upon the discovery of a series of bioweapons known as GUILT, designed with the intent to cause pain and death to those infected by it. It comes right after the discovery of something in Derek: the Healing Touch, a supernatural ability meant to help surgeons with their operations. The results vary, but for Derek, it slows down time for a few minutes. Partly in thanks to this gift, Derek was eventually invited to the international organization Caduceus (with Angie shortly following suit), which is at the forefront in combating Delphi, the terrorist group responsible for GUILT. Several operations later, all the strains of GUILT have been stopped, and Delphi is tracked down and its members arrested, putting an end to their threat to the world.
    • Another thing to note is that Angie has close ties to GUILT, so to speak, in that her father Dr. Kenneth Blackwell was blackmailed to create GUILT, and did so to keep Angie from becoming a living incubator of GUILT. While he has been rescued, she has not forgiven him for his actions, though he continues to atone after that.
    • That said, GUILT would surface once again three years later, though Derek and Angie would first deal with Post-GUILT Syndrome patients after coming back from Costigar, Africa with new "recruit" Dr. Adel Tulba. And then GUILT itself would resurface, thanks to Delphi remnants, and worse Derek would lose access to the Healing Touch for a while after failing to save a patient (out of four in succession), the pressure getting to him, just as his mentor Dr. Robert Hoffman feared years ago, having suffered that burden himself. He would take a break at Hope Hospital for about a month before Angie visits him and they visit her father who's under probation and helping clean up the mess Delphi made, but when he contracts PGS, Derek finally gets his Healing Touch back after getting his act together, and Derek and Angie eventually return to Caduceus, continuing the fight against GUILT, eventually putting a stop to Delphi for good, exposing that Acropolis and HOA has been utilizing GUILT (now called NEO-GUILT) in certain medicines of theirs as "ability enhancements" (to the point of mimicking the Healing Touch) thanks to Blackwell's espionage, arresting the implicit top brass, and eliminating NEO-GUILT for good as well.
  • Their ascension to the Pantheon came in the form of a Court envoy sent to Caduceus and requesting for the pair, who were just returning days after overseeing Dr. Markus Vaughn and Dr. Valerie Blaylock test out simulation operations against Stigma strains plus GUILT strains. After a lengthy talk with the envoy, Director Hoffman decided that it would be best that Derek and Angie accompany the envoy Dr. Black Jack to their new assigned location: the Trope Pantheons.
  • Applies to both:
    • Naturally, Derek and Angie were first acquainted with the doctors in the House of Health and Diseases, starting with Black Jack himself, given Caduceus has a few shrines dedicated to him. They're amazed at his speed, and that it's all from his body, no mystical Healing Touch necessary.
      • While a nurse, they revere Florence Nightingale for revolutionizing the profession and making sanitation mandatory.
      • Their first big step towards accepting the strange was the salarian doctor Mordin Solus, who was additionally a proficient fighter to boot, given the criminal environment Shepard first found him operating at.
      • SCP-2295 was a massive curiosity, being able to replace organs and patch up skin with plushie materials and they somehow work like the real thing.
      • While the Medic's tech and speed of healing is revolutionary, his practices, mercenary career, and (lack of) ethics prove problematic for them to deal with. Still, after one operation where Derek and Angie had to treat the Heavy after being infected by an anomalous parasite using the Medic's tools (and Angie being critical of their filth before cleaning them), and the fact that he considers his colleagues as friends, Derek can tolerate him at best, while Angie loathes him for his loss of his medical license on top of everything else he's done.
      • Fran Madaraki is another they found unsettling due to her skewed anti-death morality, despite her unparalleled surgery skills, and because of the mutations she's made thanks to those skills. But her rules are relatively easy to follow to keep her sort-of under control. That said, when it comes to heart operations, she sometimes offers to "modify" Derek, though he always turns her down.
      • Outside of the House of Health and Diseases, they were acquainted with Dr. Tenma, his skills as a neurosurgeon, his unending optimism, and his mission to stop Johan Liebert.
      • They were also acquainted with Navy Corpsmen Pacific Assault Squad member James Broderick Sullivan and Flag Raiser John Henry "Doc" Bradley, who have both treated battlefield casualties in the jungles and islands of the Pacific Theater. Derek and Angie are no strangers to medical operations in a warzone, given their time at Costigar.
    • They were once approached by the Lagaard guild and thanked for providing much needed medical supplies, but neither Derek nor Angie remember them or ever being in High Lagaard. Still, the aid is appreciated, and Derek has even considered teaching his art to their (and the other guilds') Medics.
    • As doctors, they oppose those who would promote death, especially death cults such as Delphi was, and those who specifically design diseases to bring that about, having stopped every strain of GUILT they encountered.
    • A surgeon is supposed to have as much of their attention as possible on a patient that needs saving. While turbulence, reckless driving, and darkness may be tolerated since those can't be helped, live media coverage with lighting and flashes will not be tolerated by Angie, even if Derek will try to persevere amidst it anyway. Reality TV with real operations isn't tolerated either, and two other Caduceus doctors eventually put a stop to one such show.
    • Medical malpractice of any kind is not something they'd want to repeat, having once been directed by the government to implant a pacemaker with a tracker in a Delphi mole, who would then be "set free" for him to return to his base.
    • They oppose those who would do unspeakable things for the sake of beauty/youth, just as President Reina Mayuzumi of Acropolis has.
    • The operations they've had to perform in the Pantheon has led to enemies and allies as well.
      • There was one operation on a patient who was infected with Thrax, and he proved more challenging to deal with than even the GUILT strains Savato and Aletheia since he's actually sapient. A timely arrival by Osmosis Jones helped turn the tide, though Thrax managed to escape entirely, leaving a huge mess for Derek to fix.
      • There was also another on a recently "impregnated" Facehugger victim when they were in the area. Usually, they're just written off as doomed, but Derek wanted to save the victim and the patient was taken to the operating room (and Ripley was already contacted). Not being given enough time to grow inside the victim, the to-be-Chest Burster was much weaker than it should've been, though still proved challenging for Derek to handle, especially since unlike GUILTnote , this infant Xenomorph made to attack Derek himself, though his Healing Touch instincts kept him from getting hurt as it found itself decapitated by his scalpelnote  (the xenomorph infant was that weak). Angie swiftly gathered the "pieces" for future study.
      • He suffered a minor breakdown after the operation, given this was the first time he's killed a living thing that wasn't a virus/parasite/bioweapon (thinking back on Dr. Tulba attempt to use the Healing Touch to kill Derek, only for the NEO-GUILT to kick in), but Ripley (who arrived near the end of the operation) assured him that he did the right thing. Also, "prequel" events have revealed that the Xenomorphs were indeed bioweapons that eventually Turned Against Their Masters and were on the loose ever since.

  • Exclusive to Derek:
    • The secret to Derek's success is the Healing Touch, which slows time to a crawl from his perspective as he operates on the patient in record time, though he's been recommended to make do without it as often as possible to conserve his mental stamina and only use it for critical diseases that are as dangerous as GUILT has been.
      • A Healing Touch used subconsciously out of desperation costs the doctor nothing and can last quite a while, while an intentional one exhausts the user and last for a brief time proportional to their focus. Two different Healing Touches can be used in concert without interfering with each other. Meanwhile, two of the same Healing Touch will stack. This includes those from the same doctor (a.k.a. Derek) using a desperation healing touch and an intentional one simultaneously.
    • If worse comes to worst, as long as there's an expert to instruct him, and he has his tools, he can even defuse a bomb, and disarm certain electronic locks.
    • Despite his expertise, he's just one surgeon, and can only operate on one patient at a time. Thankfully, in the Pantheon, there are several advanced healing methods to close up wounds fast when he has to operate in succession. It's one of the only reasons he tolerates the Medic.
    • Is slow at working out puzzles, and gets regularly mocked for it.
    • Despite the last time he had cameras and sensors wired up to him, Derek's willing to have his operations recorded if it can help other surgeons. He'd just prefer that they aren't artificially enhanced like Acropolis Pharmaceutical and the Hands of Asclepius have done with their doctors and Adel Tulba, and using NEO-GUILT as "ability enhancers". Time-related abilities should work just fine, though.

  • Exclusive to Angie:
    • Because she never got it back at Caduceus or Hope Hospital, several are unafraid to give her flak over the things she's done (including suggesting to a depressed patient that they should just die, even if this isn't actually unique to Angie), though they also state that she's tolerated because of Derek and because she pretty much keeps him in line in regards to non-surgeon matters, particularly to remind him to do his paperwork. Interestingly, in certain other matters, he's the more mature one compared to her.
    • Despite not looking the type who would have the discipline to study it, Angie is proficient in aikido.
    • Dislikes parents who do all sorts of atrocities just to spare their children, even if it's because of ransom, as her father had done. It took years before she could look at him again without too much hate.
    • "Nice work, Dr. Stiles!"

The Caim and Angelus profile is very out of date, and I don't know if this was brought up by anyone for reworks, but if anyone has ideas for it, below is as it reads now.

[up] I agree on that this is in need of a rework, but in case of whether you're unsure of it being approved of being reworked on not, it's best to nominate it just to make sure of it.

Nomination...

  • Roy Harper - Once Done, Never Forgotten
    • Roy's tenure as the Red Arrow has been incredibly contentious, but one thing that's always been infamous about him is his drug addiction. Regardless of the many heroic moments he does and being a generally good parent to Lian, Roy cannot escape from being called out from his drug problems, even if he is trying to stave himself off from it. And then it's amped up further in the New 52/Rebirth continuity by turning him into an alcoholic. And it's not just a passing mention either; both problems tend to be mentioned or given some focus in nearly every story Roy has an appearance in.

[up][up] No one has brought it up for reworks yet, but I am planning to rework them once I finish reworking Drakengard!Zero. I am fine if you want to rework them instead, though you should propose them as to explain why they fit Dragon Rider.

Got a proposal:

The Fall Guys for Eject the Loser:

Characters: a race of jelly bean-like creatures who compete in races that test their platforming skills.

Reason: At the end of every round, the contestants are put in small square cells lining across a big wall, and the losers of the round will be rapidly ejected out of the cells into a pachinko board below them. Considering that at least 10 or so people are eliminated each round, expect to see a lot of beans falling into a pachinko machine every round.

Speaking of Yoko Taro Nier is in need of being rewritten especially with the Remaster now out. Heck Kaine might be worthy of ascending now as well.

SailorVenus372 Mention his role in the Avengers 2020 game and Kamala and other Inhumans being enemies and you get my [tup]

So I changed Travis to a former enemy, but is there anything else missing from this profile?

Bad Girl, Goddess of Sports-Themed Levels (The Second Assassin, Charlotte Birkin.)

No More Heroes
Click to see her in Travis Strikes Again / No More Heroes III
  • Lesser Goddess, temporarily Quasideity in her dog form.
  • Symbol: Her signature baseball bat or crown.
  • Theme Song: Pleather for Breakfest, Travis Strikes Again Remix.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil in her assassin days, currently Chaotic Neutral.
  • Portfolio: BAT-Shit, As tough as any other assassin, Batter Up!, Brutal not Bright Minded, Partially Japanese, Badman's Badgirl, Can Fight While Intoxicated, Knows How Fucked Up She Is.
  • Domains: Assassins, Violence, Baseball, Bats.
  • Allies: Negan, Jinx, Tira, Hisoka, Chrollo Lucifer.
  • Rivals: Destroyman, Margaret Moonlight, Harley Quinn, Dokuro Mitsukai.
  • Enemies: Junpei Iori, Sophitia Alexandra, Gon and his companions, Batman.
  • Former Enemy:Travis Touchdown.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Joker, The Batter.
  • Opposes: Monokuma and the Mastermind.
  • Opposed by: Harley Quinn, Lisa Gunko, Ann Takamaki, The Scout.
  • Before joining the United Assassins Association, the woman that quickly became known as simply "Bad Girl" wasn't actually that bad at all. Between her upbringing with her dear father, the "lovely" sponsor who gave her a little shock treatment, and her eventual descent into madness was it any wonder how Charlotte Birkin turned into the Second Ranked Assassin in the world?
  • Compared to the likes of Travis, Henry, Kimmy, and even Destroyman her fighting style isn't all that special. Some kill with laserbeams; others rely upon guns or other forms of ranged firearms. Badgirl prefers brute force with her signature weapon, a little alcohol mixed in with fire however creates a more deadly tool at her disposal.
  • After dipping into leftover beer in her cooler and torturing cloned gimped slaves for mere batting practice, she encountered Travis who sought out her position in the rankings. He simply labeled her as a perverted manic when she pointed out they weren't all too different from one another. Then, she died until her father and Travis buried the hatchet to resurrect her albeit it's not like how she was before her demise. I mean how the fuck can someone be totally sane after being reborn as a GODDAMN dog?!. Well, the Badman still loves his little girl no matter what even hoping they can play a game of flaming death ball one day like a real family of psychos. Anyway, the "No More Hero" and Charlotte just so happen to be on good terms with each other now and even look ready to kick alien ass together for some reason. With a brand new game to sell for Suda51 games, another murder-spree for the baddest bad girl you bitches have ever seen in the Pantheon will begin!
  • John didn't think much of his fellow ranked assassin even before meeting Travis, but he always wonders how she managed to outrank him in the pecking order. Asking for a moment of her time to allow him to "dress" up for the occasion as Destroyman Charlotte instead pointed her bat right at his crotch area not falling for the shit Travis was nearly killed with long ago.
  • She gets along rather well around Negan considering the many similar quirks both psychopaths share with each other. Beyond using baseball bats as their main method of attack, the former head of the Saviors also went through a lot of shit before the apocalypse and has struggled with his personal ordeals much like Charlotte. The big "dick swinger" even offered her the rare chance to try out his "Lucille", even if Charlotte pointed out if a barbed-wire bat could actually get jealous at being held by another woman.
  • Junpei disliked the sadist just by the number of people she killed before ascending into the Pantheon, the worst kind of reason for such slaughter was boredom since unlike that SEES member she wasn't fortunate to be living in a "peaceful" world like his not dealing with such a problem.
  • Harley knew that Charlotte had quite a lot of trauma from her childhood being a former therapist herself, she knew how damaged a person could become and quickly lose yourself to the pleasure of pain. That being said Harley doesn't want a bad girl to end worse by hooking up with her ex-pudding so the former criminal sidekick is watching over Charlotte much to her irritation. Batman however when learning about the girl from Harley simply believed she was another inmate for Arkham.
    • Speaking of the crown prince of cruelty, the Joker was quick to mock his former ditzy pale sidekick finding a very good possible new "Harley" to replace his old one. While she didn't mind the comedian finding humor in a fucked up world she declined the offer to become his new "Batgirl" partner. Not that she didn't consider going for a grand slam with the supervillain.
  • While Gon and his friends knew the life of hunters wouldn't be without blood being shed, the idea of someone who enjoyed killing people reminded them of creeps like Chrollo Lucifer and the rest of the Troupe. In particular, a former spider Hisoka was impressed by how easily Charlotte could end a person's life with a simple weapon like a bat. He even offered her some of his gum before wanting to try some practice with her, so he might consider a fight to the death with this woman.
    • Naturally, the attention of Chrollo was brought to the reborn assassin finding her need to kill for no real goal or purpose a strong consideration for joining his infamous criminal gang. She said that he sounded fucking nuts for even suggesting that, but she didn't give him a real answer leaving the door open.
  • Junko was actually perplexed by Badgirl, people like her would normally be onboard with dooming the world with people like Ultimate Despair, and yet, the idea of destroying everything sounded kinda boring to the former UAA member. It could be that Charlotte 'still' believes that was beauty in the life she lived or maybe she wasn't cool with being under Junko's thumb along with that dumb mascot polar bear.
    • Despite not willing to harm Badgirl physically, the Scout named Jeremy wasn't thrilled to learn about her bloody past involving murdering gimps and others just to find some form of satisfaction in her life.
  • Both Lisa and Ann knew that some in Japan couldn't stand the fact that they each weren't pure-blooded Japanese having American heritage in themselves, but they both refused to let that shame who they were to themselves or their friends. Charlotte never really got in touch with her father's Japanese background, and in a rare moment of humanity asked both Persona-users what being in that country was like. While they were repulsed by the fact she was once an infamous killer, such a life COULD have been avoided if she wasn't brought up that way and the girls felt some pity for Badgirl hoping that one day she could embrace a more peaceful life in perhaps Tokyo or Sumaru City.
  • When confronted by some members of the GUAE into joining their group her mind wasn't sure how to proceed, a helpful voice came when "Jolly" Tira gave some suggestions about how to proceed. Since they were both former assassins raised into being ruthless killers an answer was quite simple; why not find new gods to "play" with within the Pantheon. Before the blonde batter could respond "Gloomy" chimed in offering another idea to kill off Tira's enemies and bathe in their blood. Charlotte wasn't sure how to respond to such a two-sided mindset, yet she herself didn't mind fighting alongside such a bird of a feather-like very much akin to her own self.
  • "Pop quiz: why am I such an angry bitch? Seriously, no matter how many I kill, it's all the same. They're all going to pay! Yeah! With their fuckin' lives!"

@Excessive: If you were going to rework them, I'll back off then! I don't have really any ideas off the top of my head for them besides basic updates like adjusting it to have the new stuff most profiles have, like their history, the day they ascended, etc.

@Kaine being ascended: Not sure what she would fit besides Intersex Tribulations, but naturally other open tropes could fit better.

  • Dislikes: Penelope Mouse, Malty S Melromarc
  • A pure and honest boy who enters the Tower in search of Rachel, the only person he has ever known during his life of isolation in a cave. Single-mindedly devoted to Rachel, Bam's goal is to reunite with her after she leaves him to climb the Tower. As an Irregular who entered the Tower on his own, Bam has exceptional potential in using shinsu that makes him the target of many people's attention. Throughout his journey, Bam makes several friends and grows both in power and character as he overcomes the Tower's many tests and obstacles.
  • Bam inadvertently entered the Pantheon through a mysterious door on the 52nd floor, and was subsequently chosen to become the God of Getting Better Power Upgrades Before Everyone Else due to a combination of being an Irregular trained by FUG higher-ups, his power to gain new techniques from watching or getting attacked by someone, and getting quite a few enhancements tied to his destiny. He's enjoyed his time since ascending, interested in meeting and befriending others not shaped by the competitiveness of the Tower. His potential has garnered the admiration of the deities in the House of Power, with some predicting that he could ascend to Overdeity any day.
  • Due to the high concentration of shinsu as air in many parts of the Tower, Bam has encountered many Divine Sea Fish, giant floating sea creatures of which some he had to fight at times, such as the White Steel Eel and Giant Marsh Worms. It's for this reason, combined with his immense power, that he feels no fear navigating through the Hall of Aquatic Life. It's notable that even creatures like the Kraken and Duke Fishron don't try to attack Bam. They're well aware that it wouldn't take much shinsu for Bam to easily kill them if he wanted to.
  • Thanks to their similarly friendly dispositions, pure natures, and innate talent despite their ages, Bam has become good friends with Gon and also with his best friend Killua. Bam noted Killua's strong resemblance to his acquaintance Khun Ran, with the two having very similar appearances and compatibilities with electricities. Killua told Bam that he'd like to meet Ran and would be interested in the challenge of climbing the Tower, having enjoyed his time in the Heavens Arena.
  • Bam has an emnity with Mateus Palamecia, the evil ruler of the Palamecian Empire who aims to conquer the world using the forces of demons. This stems from Bam's Arch-Enemy being Jahad, the all-powerful, worshipped King of the Tower and ruler of the Jahad Empire who wants Bam, who is prophesied to slay him, dead. Thanks to the obstacles he has had to face because of Jahad, Bam has little tolerance for malevolent God Emperors and vows to stop him from reigning over all that exists. However, Mateus is not bothered by Bam's presence and considers him a mere insect in the grand scheme of his ambitions.
  • Bam's good looks, even from a young age, have caused many women to cry, which have only become more numerous since he's matured. His number of female admirers have only increased since he has ascended as a Greater God within the Pantheon, with women preferring his more long-haired look as Jue Viole Grace. Even the Chick Magnet Quintet is impressed by Bam's attractiveness towards women.
    • Word of his handsome looks have spread throughout the Princesses of the House of Royalty and more. Given Bam's seeming appeal to the Princesses of Jahad in the Tower, it's no surprise to see this same pattern again now that he's ascended to the Pantheon. Bam can only be amused by the irony of his appeal with royalty, considering that he's destined to kill a king.
  • Bam has formed a friendship with Makoto Yuki due to their similarities. Both of them are gifted with a unique power, overcame their trauma and regained their compassion, and lead a group of their friends to ascend a tower. Bam was surprised to hear of the eldritch, unpredictable nature of Tartarus through which the S.E.E.S. had to fight Shadows to climb up. Makoto, on the other hand, was in awe of what Bam told him about the Tower — a structure with over a hundred floors each with residents and tests set by Rulers for the climbers to overcome.
  • In preparation for his eventual return to his world to complete his climb, Bam has taken an interest in fully exploring the Yggdrasil Labyrinths. At the moment, he's looking for other people interested in exploring the labyrinths to form a party. As a Wave Controller with a mastery of Shinsu for large-scale destruction, he's designated himself as the "mage" of a group and has been searching for others who would fulfill different roles. He's also quite intrigued by the Abyss, and is considering in venturing through it after completing the Yggdrasil Labyrinths and training even more to become strong enough to survive the Unholy Death World.
  • Bam holds Alpheus, the World Forger, in high regard. As a former Slayer candidate of FUG, Bam was chosen by the secretive criminal syndicate to overthrow the Ten Great Families and kill Jahad, the worshipped god-king. Alpheus himself was forced to fight and try to kill his mother Perpetua, the first creator of the Multiverse. As someone prophesied to kill Jahad and who understands the gravity of defeating an all-powerful being, Bam has a respect for Alpheus for even deciding to end his own mother. He also wants to learn more about the Overdeity's powers over dark matter and incorporate it into his shinsu, already able to create a Shinsu Blackhole Sphere.
  • Bam has gained quite the fashionable wardrobe from getting new clothes picked out by Ha Jinsung every season that are sent to him. Even now that he's ascended to the Pantheon, his mentor still wants him to look just as good. From time to time, Bam can be seen visiting the Costumes picking out new clothes to wear, with a preference for fashionable button-ups. Thanks to his nice wardrobe collection, Bam is considered one of the most stylish deities in the House of Power.
  • Bam has a low opinion of Penelope Mouse for betraying her allies due to becoming greedy and envious of Sly Cooper's reputation. Her fall into greed and jealousy over Sly's reputation reminds Bam all too much of Rachel, who despite taking care of Bam and being the first person he ever met manipulated him and betrayed him to die all in her obsession to reach the top of the Tower. Even after rejecting Rachel's ideals and accepting her corruption, he still dislikes individuals similar to her. It's for this reason to he avoids going to the Halls of Tainted Friendship and Traitor Archetypes to avoid encountering her.
  • He's formed an Odd Friendship with Naofumi, a formerly idealistic hero who got falsely accused of rape and society repressed in him in turn to the point of turning him into a pragmatic, distrustful, and cynical man, over their shared trauma due to a culture of manipulation and mistrust. Naofumi respects Bam for his resilience, impressed that he was able to overcome his Break the Cutie moments better than himself. Speaking with Naofumi has arised from Bam mixed feelings about getting revenge against the people in the Tower who have wronged him, unsure about whether or not he should go through with them after hearing about Naofumi's own experiences with vengeance.
    • Hearing about Malty S Melromarc from Naofumi has made Bam form an extremely low opinion of the vile princess. He thought Rachel was bad, but was mortified to hear about Malty falsely accusing him of raping and sadistically antagonizing Naofumi, abusing her status to ruin others' lives, and trying to take the throne of Melromarc. Learning about Malty made Bam much more empathetic towards Naofumi's cynicism.
  • He can relate to Vash the Stampede's challenges of being hunted down for his abilities. Like Bam, Vash has taken a more pacifistic approach and genuinely tries to avoid killing as much as possible, though the world makes him suffer for it as bounty hunters keep attacking him relentlessly for the money due to the Crapsack World they live in. They also bonded over dealing with being literal Living Weapons, with Vash's body technically being a gun with his arm turning into the Angel Arm, and Bam a living Ignition Weapon with the Thorn and Black March inside his body. Talking with the more experienced Vash about this has helped Bam better understand his powers.
  • Bam gets along well with Gentaro Kisaragi for their similar loyal nature that compels them to fight on behalf of their friends. But while Bam's friendships give him the strong motivation to fight enemies and learn new techniques, Bam was surprised to learn that in Gentaro's world, friendship gives him actual new powers, and even lose transformations with the loss of friendships. In spite of their different temperaments, the two are good friends and glad to have befriended each other, with Bam and Gentaro always eager to make new friends.
  • "Stars, thrones, skies, the Outside World, I don't need any of those things. But if someone tries to hurt someone precious to me, I will fight."

More of Dr. Claw.

Any other reclusive or unseen villains? How about other baddies that fall under Vile Villain, Laughable Lackey that could relate to him?

Dr. Claw, God of the Unreveal Angle (Edward Claw, Stanford Scolex)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dr_claw_2.jpg
Dr. Claw alongside MAD Cat
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: His Hand. Alternatively, the M.A.D Logo.
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Portifolio: His Face Is Never Shown To The Camera, The Series Main Antagonist, Extremely Deep Voices, The Comically Serious, Evil Is Hammy, Prefers To Watch From Afar, Henchmen Are Complete Morons, Usually Gets Away (Though Not Always)
  • Domains: Evil, Hands, Chairs, Crime
  • High Priest: Mental
  • Herald: His Right-Hand Cat, MAD Cat.
  • Allies: Moriarty, Ratigan, Oogie Boogie
  • Enemies: Inspector Gadget, James Bond, Austin Powers, Dr. Evil, Santa Claus, Jack Skellington
  • Frequently Employs: The Black Organization
  • Dr. Edward Claw is the nefarious leader of the criminal organization M.A.D, and is Inspector Gadget's arch-nemesis. More often than not, he tends to stay out of the action, preferring to monitor whatever evil plan he's cooked up from his chair alongside his Right-Hand Cat, though that hasn't stopped him from getting involved personally from time to time. Usually, he comes up with a plan to Take Over the World, has one of his minions enact said plan, and occasionally contact them to check up on how said plan is going. Said plan often has extra steps taken to stop Inspector Gadget, often completely overlooking the fact that it's actually his niece, Penny, that stops his plans. When inevitably thwarted, he'll curse Gadget and move on with the next scheme, with new henchmen and new steps.
  • Dr. Claw first made his presence known in the Pantheon by naturally plotting a robbery of the realms biggest bank, having planned out a full-scale assault on the bank so that he could steal millions. Unfortunately, Gadget was able to figure out that he had arrived, thanks again to Penny's indirect aid, and managed to thwart the robbery and arrest the criminals. It was later discovered that Melkor found out about Claw and, admiring how he was a genuinely effective villain despite the setting, had arranged for him to ascend under Unreveal Angle. Claw, who had escaped capture during the aforementioned robbery, now aims to make himself known in the Pantheon as its most successful villain.
  • As his title suggests, his face is usually hidden from sight, with only his right arm being visible. That being said, plenty of characters have seen his face and body, but for the audience themselves, the universe seems determined to hide it from plain sight every chance it gets. There has been a few times when his face was visible, consistently depicting a White-Haired Mad Scientist look, but their canonicity is questionable at best, and details regarding everything else seems to change. There was also The Movie, where he was visible all the time, but he was completely In Name Only there, so it isn't exactly a reliable source. That hasn't stopped Claw from using "Stanford Scolex" as a alias to throw potential enemies off.
  • As someone who's a Affectionate Parody of James Bond villains, specifically his nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld, he naturally gained the attention of the famous super spy himself. Bond was savvy enough to realize that, despite his failures against Gadget, most of them were do to luck and outside help, and he was otherwise a competent villain. In relation, Bond's own parody, Austin Powers, also ended up on Claw's shit list, seeing the spy as basically Gadget, but more competent. Thanks to Powers, however, he ended up discovering the one person he hated the most out of the group: Dr. Evil, the reformed twin brother of Austin. Dr. Claw was furious that a Card-Carrying Villain like Dr. Evil would even entertain a Heel–Face Turn, and vowed to cave the former villain's face in the next time they meet. Evil, obviously, has taken precautions to avoid him at all costs.
  • Being a Diabolical Mastermind, Claw found it fitting to find other similarly cunning villains to join forces with, the more notable of which include the original Professor Moriarty and the rat criminal Ratigan. While they generally get along, spending their time cooking up schemes to destroy their nemesis's, one thing that annoys the duo is that Claw can never seem to get that Inspector Gadget isn't the cunning Guile Hero that he thinks he is, but rather a bumbling moron who's just ridiculously lucky, which to be fair, doesn't make him any less dangerous. Claw always rebuts these claims, stating that only a genius is capable of thwarting him regularly. At the very least, they're currently trying to get him to notice the little girl who keeps sneaking in and foiling his plans, whom he's aware of but usually dismisses.
  • Another reason he constantly fails is that his minions are complete dolts who sometimes come across as dumber than Gadget. This is an issue he's painfully aware of, and tends to think little of his henchmen, with the exception of the occasional competent one. Nonetheless, the Pantheon has opened up numerous other mercenaries and criminals that he can hire, and while Claw is willing to give others a try, he's found that his favorite is The Black Organization, an entire league of assassins for hire. Naturally, he almost always hires them to take out Gadget and his friends. Despite the massive leap in competency they have compared to his regular henchmen, however, they still find themselves frequently thwarted by Gadget and his dumb luck, though this has not stopped Claw from still employing them, as they still make much more progress than his minions ever had.
  • Claw is among the many deities that tried to ruin Christmas, though unlike them he tried to go and outright ruin Santa's reputation by disguising as him and delivering unfinished and broken toys, tarnishing his name forever. While Santa obviously considers Claw to be on his permanent Naughty List, his close friend Jack Skellington despises the guy, considering Claw to be just as petty and cruel as Oogie Boogie. Unfortunately, as Claw took that as a compliment, he immediately started seeking out this apparently equally cruel villain and found Oogie Boogie, a sadistic bug sack with a love of death traps. The two quickly became fast allies, usually spending their time together coming up with traps and plotting revenge on Santa and Jack.

The Metal Blade

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/latest_2_96.jpeg
Metal Man attacking with his signature Metal Blades
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1405036540168.jpg
Mega Man firing off several Metal Blades
  • Class Level: 5
  • Appearance: A large, devastating razor-edged circular saw blade made of Ceramic Titanium (Ceratanium)
  • Alignment: Lawful Good If Wielded By Mega Man, Chaotic Evil If Used By Wily's Robots, True Neutral otherwise
  • Domains: Copied Weapons, Overpowered Weapons, Buzzsaws
  • Portfolio: Absurd Cutting Power, Disc-One Nuke, Deadly Disc, Near Game-Breaker, Serrated Blade of Pain, Can Kill Metal Man, Its Original User, In 1-2 Hits
  • Counterparts: Spin Wheel, Wheel Cutter
  • Sacred to: Mega Man, Dr. Wily
  • Notable Users: Dr. Fetus
  • Source of Interest to: The Conductor and DJ Grooves, The Monkeys, The Tenno, battle-hungry deities with abilities to manipulate metal or magnetism
  • Unholy to: Meat Boy, Ryu Hayabusa
  • Deadly against: Wood Man, Bubble Man, Flash Man, Metal Man
  • Having a reputation for being one of the most overpowered weapons in Mega Man's arsenal (which Wiz and Boomstick can concur to), the Metal Blade is the signature weapon of Metal Man. However, due to Wily's hubris (i.e., a design flaw), Metal Man is weak against his own weapon.
  • Aside from being the most powerful weapon, it also has the largest ammo capacity, four blades for a single bar of Weapons Energy. In other words, one can fire this weapon 114 times before running out of ammo.
  • The reason that Wily hasn't given more of his Robot Masters similar weaponry to the Metal Blade was that he can't find a way to avert how destructive it was against his own creations, and has attempted to make versions that don't take down his own Robot Masters so easily, though those creations haven't matched the original power the Metal Blade had.
    • Even Cut Man is confused on how his Rolling Cutter is less efficient and powerful overall despite his scissors also being made of the same material. Then again, Wily did use Cut Man's designs as a reference for Metal Man. Cut Man's trying to learn all sorts of sharpening techniques to hopefully make his weapon more of a match these days, however.
  • Like with a majority of weapons from the classic Mega Man games, it's not as effective against those who've been enemies of Mega Man X in his games, though it's not a No-Sell either. Despite this, the Pantheon would rather see to it that it doesn't get upgraded to actually be a threat to said deities, or else it could get kicked up a class or two.
  • Aside from its general purpose of being a deadly weapon, members of the House of Craft find it convenient to use for construction materials and building, as expected for a weaponized buzzsaw.
  • Remembering the day Mega Man would step into the Smash Tournaments for the first time, Mario shudders for a bit remembering when he was the first of all the others to be on the receiving end of it. On the other hand, Link was more indifferent to it since his shield was capable of blocking the projectile like many others.
  • Special measures have been given to the Hall of Canines so users or anyone wielding the Metal Blade can't go in and throw it after saying "Fetch!" or "Catch!"
  • Ryu Hayabusa once got into a nasty scuffle with Dr. Wily for undisclosed reasons, but upon Wily siccing his Doc Robot on him, the latter would first shoot a barrage of Metal Blades at the ninja, and while he barely dodged them, it managed to leave him standing still shuddering for a few moments before he got back his momentum and swiftly defeated the Doc Robot, sending Wily running. Unknown to everyone else excluding some observant members of the Hall of Dreams, he's had the occasional nightmare where he gets defeated and caught by his older enemies and strapped to a table with a buzzsaw slowly descending down upon him, with him waking up just before the buzzsaw would have shredded at his flesh.
  • Being immune to the weapon, Quick Man may check its exhibit if anyone's tried taking it, primarily to troll the unaware snatcher, which has stopped plenty of other deities that have considered or tried to take the Metal Blade for its power.
  • There are some meta-savvy experts who know how to to use it infinitely by switching to another weapon and back after using three Metal Blades (Somehow this refills the Metal Blade's ammo reserve unless four are used), and it was realized just as people thought it couldn't get anymore overpowered.
  • Somehow, Dr. Fetus managed to obtain the Metal Blade for himself back before he even ascended into the Pantheon, and during a battle with Bandage Girl, in some unknown space-time anomaly, he would throw these buzzsaws non-stop, and given his affinity for using buzzsaws in general, he'll continue to use the Metal Blade to repeatedly chop up Meat Boy, much to the latter's agony.
  • Both the Conductor and DJ Grooves have decided in it for whenever they get into a rough feud with each other or run into bad trouble. Not to mention that it would lower the spending they would otherwise spend on the buzzsaws they already throw around. Hat Kid is unsure what to think, except that she isn't going to bother stopping them since it's that or normal buzzsaws getting thrown her way if she gets in trouble with them again.
  • Gajeel Redfox is a notable deity that has managed to actually catch some of the Metal Blade projectiles mid-flight. He's even managed to catch one mid-flight with his teeth, though it turns out that ceratanium is harder to bite through than he expected. (He was bored and wanted to imitate Saitama's more iconic sword bite scene.)
  • Mega Man has had rough occasions dealing with some deities who have power to manipulate metal in one way or another due to them not only wanting the Metal Blade for themselves, but also Mega Man himself being made of metal himself. Some examples include Gibril, whose Metallon powers would let her make a much greater mess with the Metal Blades, as well as Carrera of the Sumeragi Swordsmen who is more than willing to utilize them constantly as a weapon for battle. Both of such deities have been rather curious on how fun throwing around a swarm of Metal Blades would be on the battlefield, but luckily for Mega Man, they usually fight each other for it more than him.
  • There was a secret experiment within the GUAC Lab involving attempts to combine the Metal Blade with Krillin's Destructo Disk technique, and while the motives for such a deadly combination were yet to be known it was prematurely stopped when somehow, word of it got out and eventually it was forced to be cancelled out. Neither the Pantheon let alone Krillin himself wants the technique to weaponized through the Metal Blade, so the GUAC has been closely watched, especially if one of their prominent Lab members decide to get their hands on it again.
  • The Monkeys are looking into the Metal Blade for the purpose of using it to pop more bloons. In particular, they want to improve their Blade Shooters (an upgrade path of the Tack Shooter) with these saw blades, interested in its potential to destroy even more bloons. They're primarily excited of the idea of a Super Blade Maelstrom with a fully upgraded and optimized Blade Shooter using the Metal Blade as ammo in particular.
  • Issac Clarke was skeptical as to the insane stopping power of the Metal Blade. Mega Man was more than happy to put it to the test against a screaming horde of Necromorphs. 114 shots later, and Issac is agape over the carnage left in Mega Man's wake. Even the Hive Mind was obliterated under the Blue Bomber's barrage.
  • The Tenno have been interested in reverse-engineering the Metal Blade as they have done with the Miter weaponry that Grineer Eviscerators use, curious for their use in battle, and perhaps to use it on the Grineer themselves to see if it'll hurt them like how the Metal Blade hurt its original user.
