Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

[up] Manbearpig might remind Lucas of Porky's chimera's, although this one isn't an amalgamation of previously existing beings, the grotesque fusion similarities are still there. Doom Slayer is another demon slayer. He could also fit in Symbolism in case Character Roles gets overfilled again.

  • Opposed by: Katsumi Daido/Kamen Rider Eternal, Miyo Takano, Heinz Doofenschmirtz, Harley Quinn
  • Fear: Sougo Tokiwa/Kamen Rider Zi-O
  • The Monster of the Week trope was once held by the Dark Kingdom. However, after the Grand United Alliance of Evil found out most of the members' alliances were dubious at best, they were stripped of their title and told to beat it. The title was then awarded to the evil organization of Shocker, a group of unambiguously evil inhumanoids who are able to summon any past monsters that has ever fought the Kamen Riders. Yes, any past monster, even those which weren't created by them. Even after being taken down countless times, Shocker continues to return in some form or another to plague the Kamen Riders with seemingly unrelated groups revealed to be under their control. Shocker had already gained infamy for their utter endurance and successful plots to alter history. One attempt in particular attracted Melkor's attention for it involved a secondary plot to initiate a "Groundhog Day" Loop long after the big plan had been foiled by Kamen Rider Drive. The GUAE Mastermind immediately made a pact with the Great Leader which he accepted and quietly mulled over how everything had gone to plan...
  • While their origin remains mostly ambiguous, the original Shocker likely has its roots in Nazi remnants. They specialize in genetic and anatomical modification; implanting cybernetic and surgical alterations into normal humans to transform them into living weapons. Their elite kaijin forces (humans implanted with animal DNA and cybernetics) in particular are used for extremely important operations, only eligible fpr physically fit and/or high-ranking Shocker members. That all would change after one of their most important experiments, college prodigy and motorcyclist Takeshi Hongo escaped before they could brainwash him and became the first Kamen Rider, thwarting their operations across the globe before eventually taking them down alongside the second Kamen Rider, Hayato Ichimonji.
    • After years of setbacks from this error, Shocker made it official: all future experimental subjects must be thoroughly brainwashed before being converted into cyborgs. Aside from the obvious thing this means that subjects that are deemed failures can be easily be eliminated without incident or recycled as Elite Mooks.
  • They are led by the Great Leader, a borderline immortal Eldritch Abomination who represents Shocker in the GUAE Mastermind and will stop at nothing to forge a new world order where kaijin reign supreme. Almost no one below the rank of Greater God dares to challenge him directly since if you kill him, he can simply re-incarnate into a new form at will. These forms include a red-robed Klansman with a face of snakes, a living skeleton, a skull-faced humanoid spider, a rock giant, a giant dragon and a three-eyed dinosaur skeleton. His true form, Rock Great Leader destroyed the next largest Big Bad of Kamen Rider, King Dark by simply showing up. He prefers addressing his subordinates from behind a speaker in the shape of the organization's logo or via hologram, only acting directly in the direst of circumstances.
  • After the Demonic Legion of the GUAE was dissolved, the Great Leader offered the disenfranchised faction leaders the chance to join Shocker in exchange for remaining in the Pantheon and saving face in front of their followers. Representatives from the various kaijin organizations sent representatives and most of them reluctantly allied under Shocker's proposed coalition in exchange for autonomy. The Great Leader granted their request and as such the various empires and sub-groups that form the Pantheon's incarnation of Shocker operate their own respective identities.
  • Applies to Shocker as a whole:
    • Shocker has hidden bases everywhere in the Pantheon except the Main House (they learnt their lesson after the Brevon affair). Their public headquarters is a gigantic rock fortress towering above the other temples in the sub-house of Monsters, and is a vaunted landmark in the area. Any deity who comes within fifty feet of the perimeter is cut down by waiting guardsmen or kidnapped for experimentation. At least one Kamen Rider or equivalent Toku hero patrols the sub-house to rescue innocent captives and warn people not to come near. The Great Leader has a vast chamber in the deepest levels of the fortress which he rarely resides in, instead having a stand-in underneath the red robes. Shocker also maintains two mobile headquarters in the skies above the Pantheon; the Crisis Fortress (home of General Jark and the Crisis Empire) and the Gigant Horse (flagship of the Zangyack Empire).
    • Shocker's frequent recycling of old plans (taking over the world, altering history, reviving old monsters) has received a lot of flak from other villains. Official statements from Shocker state that they are open to suggestions for new plans but that there's only so much they can do from the Pantheon, what with the despised Court of the Gods keeping their influence at a low and the Grand United Alliance of Good opposing them at every turn. The resources needed to change the organization's direction would be enormous and that's not even counting their obligations to Melkor. It's very hard to take over the Omniverse when there's already millions of enemies in the Pantheon that they have to attend to first.
    • Thousands of evildoers in the Pantheon are envious of the attention Melkor gives to Shocker. The many weapons, machines and artifacts in Shocker's custody are among the GUAE's most valuable stocks and no one wants to lose those, especially the History Modifying Machine which they often use as their Macguffin against time-travelling solo villains like Kang the Conqueror. Very rarely does Shocker seek alliances with other villains, and those it does have are always just passes in the night. Take Nyarlathotep for instance. He has the privilege of being one of a few villains to meet the Great Leader in person, as the Leader was greatly intrigued at the prospect of meeting another embodiment of evil. However, a rumour that Nyarlathotep created the GUAE Trollkaiger based on a throwaway line from the Great Leader reached both being's ears and resulted in a bloody battle that completely annihilated the House of Otherness. It took many days of overtime for Emmet and the Quartet of Arts to clean up their mess. Military officers like Führer King Bradley, General Grievous and Heinz Bohm greatly admire Shocker's vast amount of resources and have certainly sourced at least one weapon from them, but heavily criticize their focus on Awesome, but Impractical strategies that collapse as soon as an enemy Rider enters the picture.
    • While their main enemies are the Kamen Riders, Shocker has run afoul of other heroes in opposition to their goals. The Super Sentai and their Transatlantic Equivalent the Power Rangers are par for the course, as are magical girls, Pretty Cures, the Sailor Senshi and by extension any hero that has originated from Japanese media. Kirito and Asuna (and to a lesser degree their friends) started training when they heard their enemy Nobuyuki Sugou have joined Shocker, more so now that Death Gun and Quinella work closely with the organization.
    • Shocker isn't above experimenting on destructive beings who work with them to harness their power. Destoroyah was contained for a while in their massive zoo beneath their base in the House of Beast for study of his ability to disperse into smaller forms. His escape was aided by a sudden outbreak of disease in the above temple and the subsequent rush to quarantine important research subjects. Destoroyah awoke from his enforced slumber like cannon fire and laid waste to the entire base, getting into a brief scuffle with the zoo's guardian Poseidonnote . Shocker is scrambling to get him back now that Destoroyah has his own godly title and allies, they've abandoned the hunt.
    • Once tried to find Hitler's hidden stash of gold. They were in for an unwelcome surprise.
  • Applies to members:
    • Shocker's commanders are very proud that their organization ascended in its own right since it gives them the reputation of a Grand United Alliance in all but name. The Great Leader has his own dedicated inner circle from the various armies under his command who he entrusts with more important missions and only sometimes punishes with temporary death. This Inner Circle consists of Black Cross Führer and Don Horror (his Co-Dragons), Shadow Moon (his best warrior), N-Daguva-Zeba (his Hope Crusher and destroyer), General Jark and Ackdos Gill (his Frontline Generals), Count Radiguet (his resident torturer), Great Professor Bias (his chief intelligensia) and Swartz (his Time Master). Some of them were prominent faction leaders in the former Legion and were among the first to defer to the Great Leader when it became clear the Legion would be dissolved and were rewarded with authority over them.
    • Directly below the Great Leader and his inner circle are the many lower-ranked leaders in the Shocker hierarchy who jockey for prominence in the organization. The Allied Commanders Assembly, a literal parliament of kaijin generals meet weekly to discuss future plans for the Pantheon and their enemies. That's not to say that Shocker is one big happy family, far from it. Disagreements are rife, with the hottest topics of conversation being what to do with humanity once they take over Earth and whether to create new cyborgs or keep re-using their existing ones for large-scale engagements.
      • General Jark of the Crisis Empire insists that humans are too dangerous to keep around since their loyalty to Shocker is always destined to waver no matter what they do and advocates their complete extinction. Omnicidal Maniacs and human-haters in the organization agree with him but want themselves to head the operation instead. Among these supporters are Kiyoto Maki, who represents the Greeed and seeks to collapse the Omniverse into an empty void to make it perfect and Gien, who serves as representative for the Londerz Familynote . Doctor Death (from Shocker's Switzerland branch) remarked:
Death: These good-for-nothings would be out of the Pantheon if not for our Great Leader. Regrettably however, we must pander to them if we wish to keep our treasured assets.
      • Many of Shocker's commanders are solely concerned with maintaining their independence. Understandable, since many of them rule galaxy-spanning empires or powerful crime families. Kyoji Murakami and Saeko Kageyama who represent the Orphnoch species are certain that the Great Leader is muscling in on their control of Smart Brain to prevent the dormant Orphnoch King from reawakening. Dogranio Yaboon (retired) is glad that the Leader had him broken out of prison but has no intention of naming him chief don of the Gangler either. Heck, even Don Horror and Ackdos Gill aren't letting Zangyack (and Makuu Space) fall under his complete control and would go to war in an instant to prevent the Great Leader from seizing the spoils for himself.
      • Then there are members who are completely disloyal to the organization and are blacklisted from the perks a normal member gets. The ever-arrogant Bilgenia continues to pursue his own vendetta against Shadow Moon for custody of the Satan Saber and heir to Gorgom. He only pretended to give in to the Great Leader when Shadow Moon beat the ever-loving crap out of him. There are more competent disloyalists like Brajira of the Messiah who prefer biding their time for an opportunity to take power but otherwise remain subservient to Shocker's leadership.
      • Nova Shocker is a chilling example of how fiercely Shocker deals with traitors, more so those who try to strike out on their own. Urga, Buffal and Igura plotted to replace Shocker with their own organization and take over the global economy rather than simply Take Over the World, seeing it as an outdated and obsolete goal for the 21st century. Ambassador Hell was willing to pull an Enemy Mine with Shocker's Arch-Enemy Takeshi Hongo to destroy Urga at the cost of his life. Shocker let him off because to them, traitors from the inside are more dangerous than enemies from the outside.
      • Ultraman Belial, leader of the Ultraman villain faction of the Demonic Legion declined to join in favour of forming his own unique army but still regularly allies with Shocker for their mutual survival. He cites their truce as one of the main reasons Shocker (and by extension his forces) remain a force to be reckoned with in the Pantheon.
    • In contrast with rival organization HYDRA which handles a constantly changing leader even if Red Skull is universally recognized, Shocker is more stable since the Great Leader is powerful and feared enough to keep his hold on power. There's also the fact that by and large they have none of HYDRA's pro-Aryan beliefsnote  (except Colonel Zol who is a Nazi) and are willing to recruit deities from all universes and species so long as they submit to Shocker's authority. Many of the ascended villains they've hired would have failed in the long run had they kept working on their own. While they aren't truly considered Shocker members with full privileges, they do supply them with the necessary resources to fight the heroes. This has the added benefit (on the employee's end) of elevating them to a more dangerous and competent status in the Pantheon.
      • Ryoma Sengoku and Tenjuro Banno are preeminent scientists who work for Shocker (as well as Nine Barthes, Sengoku's high priest), the former having been first hired to manufacture Sengoku Drivers and Matsubokkuri Lockseeds for their mooks to transform into Kurokage Troopers. He's made several new Lockseeds to be used by specific members of Shocker such as the Silver Peach Energy Lockseed for Quinella and the Fairy Dragon Fruit Energy Lockseed for Nobuyuki Sugou. Banno was recruited to create obedient Low-Class Roidmudes and initiate a multiversal Global Freeze for a future takeover. Redyue defends the crucial supply line from the Helheim Forest from her polar opposite Kouta Kazuraba, Man of the Beginning.
      • Nobuyuki Sugou was recruited by Sengoku due to his reputation of abducting the minds of three hundred SAO survivors for his Mind Control research. In return for his loyalty, Ambassador Hell granted Sugou access once again to his Oberon powers. Sugou often collaborates with Quinella (working for the Black Organization) after her ascension as the Great Leader was impressed with her method of altering the minds of her Integrity Knights through forced synthesis.
      • Gihren Zabi (Melkor's Evil Chancellor) was brought on as a military adviser to provide mobile suits in exchange for support in his civil war against Char. Biological CPUs and Extended are supplied by Muruta Azrael and Lord Djibril of the anti-Coordinator group Blue Cosmos. Muruta and Djibril are actually some of the more difficult employed members that Shocker has to contend with, since their political stance renders them in full opposition to the Great Leader's goal of a future kaijin Master Race, since that's just another form of 'Coordinator supremacy' to them. They'll serve the Great Leader so long as stays beneficial, and if it should seem expedient for them they'll gladly subvert and take over Shocker from within.
      • They got hold of Shou Tucker via their connections with Professor Hojo and hired him with the promise of bringing his wife and daughter back from their horribly mutated state. Even though Tucker remains ambivalent at the prospect, he does seek to further his experiments and opted to join them. He didn't just join them out of self-indulgence; like Sugou he needed a place to save his skin from the millions of deities who hate him.
      • Other prominent villains who have their own brand of influence in the GUAE are Embryo who joined to get his revenge on Ange and her allies and Junko Enoshima for her reputation of initiating the murderous "School Life of Mutual Killings" game. Ragyo Kiryuin provides her Life Fibers and corporate aid via the Revocs Corporation as a means to empower their Combatmen and kaijin. Interference from the Pantheon's fashion chain Dressed for Divinity has caused that supply line to be strained however. Monaca Towa briefly partnered up with Shocker but backed out of the conflict and was condemned as a traitor for turning back on her ambitions.
      • Psychopaths and killers like Death Gun, Yuuki Terumi, Takeshi Asakura and Ali al-Saachez identify with Shocker as they give out plenty of money (or similar rewards) for a majority of their exploits but don't consider themselves members because they don't answer to anyone. The organization just happens to give them jobs they prefer doing compared to other employers. Normal bounty hunters and mercenaries tend to steer away from Shocker sometimes due to personal standards, more often because they're more comfortable with English speaking deities.
      • While Shocker may have aligned themselves with these deities, they do not care much for their personal goals or rivalries. They're useful, but Shocker isn't afraid of putting them in their place if they attempt to revolt or use Shocker's resources beyond what they have been permitted to, not wanting another incident like what happened with Nova Shocker. As cited by the likes of many Shocker commanders, they provide zero contribution to global conquest. On the other hand, some of their side projects like restoring the original Devil Gundam or arming non-KR villains with specialized Lockseeds have received praise.
    • Kai (leader of the Imagin) tried to get hold of the Doctor's TARDIS one time just because he had the face for it. He dispatched the Morphant Imagin (a new one he created based on the deathworm morphant) to get the job done. The Imagin was stopped thanks to the combined efforts of the Doctor, Uncle Bob, and DenLiner Crew, but Kai achieved his secondary goal; retrieving a list of dates important to the Doctor and his companion's lives. He plans to use these dates to send Imagin to their pasts to kill them or manipulate events so they turn out in Shocker's favour.
    • Shocker has been a little dormant since the 21st century out of a need to rethink their plans, so a group known as Foundation X has taken over from them. While they aren't part of Shocker per se, certain events prove that they at least know of the organization's existence. Foundation X makes money off funding ilicit experiments and projects like the Gaia Impact, O Medals and the Astro Switches. No one knows what their end-goal is and the more scientific-oriented members (Lem Kannagi in particular, since he rebelled against them) want to forcibly integrate them into Shocker. However, the Foundation states their preference to remain in the shadows and have for the time being have dodged many of Shocker's (and other Pantheon and GUAE organisations) requests for aid and resources. They are starting to leave behind 'cash and carry' deals for members willing to submit to the Foundation's terms so that's a start.
    • High Priest Darom once tried to capture Tetsuo Shima to brainwash into another Black Sun, seeking to finish the ritual that was interrupted by Kotaro Minami's escape. Tetsuo pretty much gave him the middle finger before absorbing him into his fleshy innards in a rage-induced breakdown. Darom made it out of there in record time but the attempt has interested Shocker in launching a full-scale bounty hunt on the telepath.

  • Friendly Rival with: PaRappa
  • Spike's origins are a complete mystery. Nobody knows his parents, only that Princess Celestia found his egg. In Twilight Sparkle's entance exam, using her magic, she ended up hatching his egg… and then temporarily making him huge before Celestia intervened to fix that. He was then taken care of by the princess for a while until Twilight's first day at the School for Gifted Unicorn, after which she transfered him to her and her family. Despite the racial difference, he was raised lovingly in a family like a little brother, and eventually, he got assigned (or perhaps assigned himself) as Twilight's "number one" assistant.
    • He first "ascended" to the Pantheon as Twilight Sparkle's herald. After a while, he was "promoted" to godhood to represent Audience Surrogate given he's The One Guy among the main characters comprised of females, just like most of the Periphery Demographic. Some time later, he got a position change to Hyper-Competent Sidekick (with his former trope taken by Jaune Arc) after he single-handedly derailed King Sombra's total victory over the Crystal Empire thanks to his true loyalty to Twilight. As for why he inherited the trope, it's due to his position, the many things he's capable of, and that while she's plenty competent, there are also times where she would be comepletely screwed without him. This title change was commemorated with his own stained glass window and a giant crystal statue of himself.
    • He's also expressed great relief that Sombra has since been removed from the Pantheon altogether. Not that he likes the loser king's replacement.
    • And then his worry returned when Sombra finally re-ascended under a different title.
  • Is occasionally seen holding discussions with Alfred and Luigi, asking for advice and to compare mustaches, respectively.
  • Is not to be confused with the Spikes of Instant Death, or Parappa's other rival, Spike.
    • PaRappa, having heard that a Spike had taken up a throne, was quick to take to battle with him. Although the specifics of this match and the winner is unknown, Spike and Parappa became good friends, especially when PaRappa learned of Spike's exploits.
  • Does not enjoy the attention John Cena receives from Rarity after having learn what happened when John Cena employed his "This is whining" skills and Rarity offering to make shirts for him, but knows better than to call him out on this.
    • To Spike's credit, John Cena congratulated the dragon on his never-give-up attitude and loyalty to his friends against the threat of King Sombra.
  • Is banned from the House of Commerce, mostly because he will become consumed by greed and transform into a hulking behemoth that can only be taken down by a few giant gods (King Kong and Godzilla being the prime ones) without harm. To his credit, though, not all riches in the house are gold and jewels (e.g. paper cash and various other weird currencies). That said, he's eventually learned to curb his desires by the time they reached the Crystal Empire (and is even hailed as a hero over all his other friends for his deeds), so he's allowed in again, but will be under heavy scrutiny whenever gold or gems are in sight.
  • Occasionally visits the House of Love for advice on Rarity. Hilarity often results.
  • With his appetite getting the better of him, Spike once attempted to sneak into the newly claimed throne of Smaug to see what rare (and delicious) jewels the dragon kept for himself. It didn't take long for Spike to run for his life, lest he be roasted or eaten by the red drake.
  • Spike was pleased to learn that the Pantheon has a good amount of good-aligned dragons, especially since every other known dragon he's seen in his world so far prior to befriending Ember and helping her become Dragon Lord were anything but good (barring one Dragon Town next to Fillydelphia, though its existence clashes with show canon), Spike has enjoyed Spyro's company in particular since Spyro's been doing what he can to assure Spike that dragons aren't inherently evil. Spyro and Spike also like to share stories about their respective adventures, though Spyro finds it weird that Spike, unlike him, eats what gems he collects.
  • Is occasionally gushed over by Squigly, who considers him "a cute lil' dragon". While he was embarrassed at first, he grew to enjoy the chin scratchings.
  • Due to his diet, he almost got in trouble with the Crystal Gems. Were it not for the fact that they already know that inert gems exist. Still, he felt frightened in their first encounter since he had a half-eaten gem in hand and noticed their gems, and fled at the sight of them before Amethyst caught up to him and cleared up the confusion.
  • Spike has been targeted by Acnologia, of all creatures, for two reasons: One, Acnologia has heard about Spike's hulking behemoth form and desires to fight it to see if he's worth killing, and two, the Black Dragon believes that Spike is a fool for having feelings for ponies, of all creatures. However, Spike has plenty of friends who will back him up, or at least help him get away, so, while he is scared of Acnologia, he refuses to let that fear rule him.
  • One time, Godzilla decided to attack Ponyville while his usual target, Tokyo, was being rebuilt, causing Twilight to resort to bringing out Spike's greedy form in a desperate attempt to stop the rogue monster. To the amazement of everyone, Spike actually managed to not only fight Godzilla to a draw, but also became one of the very few to reason with and befriend the Kaiju.
  • Spike often had doubts about his own abilities and merit among such powerful friends as his. This has gotten worse, with his role increasingly being relegated to the Butt-Monkey and the news of lackluster reactions to his episodes and the doubts of some who question whether or not he can carry a story on his own. But luckily, the little dragon has plenty of friends to tell him otherwise. Even some new ones who have begun to sympathize with Spike's plight. Including one Philip J. Fry. Who knows what it's like feeling unimportant, to want to be with girl that does not see you in the same way, and constantly being held back with his role as the but monkey, but assured the young dragon, that even if you feel like the least important person in the universe, you can tern out to be the most important.
  • Spike became the target of further interest and respect when he entered a dangerous competition of royalty in order to protect ponies from a potential tyrant from becoming Dragon Lord. Spike succeeded in this though he gave the staff and title to Ember, a dragon who assisted him and wanted to rule after her father while Spike merely entered to protect his friends. The fact he still won and had the title for however briefly and especially that he was able to surrender it has garnered him plenty of respect.
    • And he's become the target for Queen Chrysalis's wrath since, without Spike willing to befriend Thorax, her reign of terror would've continued.
  • Thinks green beans are nasty.
  • Likes to play D&D (well, Ogres and Oubliettes in his world), and occasionally plays a game with the Darths & Droids gaming group.
  • Now that the finale of their series has finally occurred, there was one more gift for Spike: a medal that grants him his Future form. However, its effect only triggers in times of crisis and when he's in a virtuous state of mind.

I can't think of any more to add. Does anyone know what else?

Zerg (Brood) Queens, Vile Spawners of Broodlings From Enemy Units

  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (or depends on their leader)
  • Portfolio: The Unintelligible, Regenerating Health, Squishy Wizard, Spawn Broodling that One-Hit Kill, Seeing Through Another's Eyes via Parasite, Ensnare, Returning In Legacy of the Void After Their Absence In The Second Game
  • Domain(s): Zerg, Spawn Broodling, Parasites
  • Superiors: Sarah Kerrigan, Alexei Stukov, Zagara, Abathur (all current), Amon (former), anyone that can Mind Control them
  • Bane of: All organic ground units, including vehicles manned by organic pilots, with
  • Enemies: Fenix, the Imperium of Man, the Star Fox team, all Star Trek deities
  • As it is known, the Zerg Swarm grows by assimilating DNA from other species. In the case of the Queen, it's from the Arachnis brood-keeper. Queens (or Brood Queens, to differentiate from the current Queen units) usually helped administrate the Swarm, and stayed near the hives where they oversaw maturing zerg and drone activities. Their primary role was as an infestation specialist. Implanting parasites, ensnaring via a spray of mucus, infesting heavily-damaged command centers, and most infamously, instant-killing enemies and spawning Broodlings out of them, which is the trope they're ascending for.
  • As for how dangerous these Broodlings are, they are originally grown from globs of spores launched from these Queens. These spores attempt to 'fertilize' any organic matter they come into contact with and are capable of eating through even the armored hulls of vehicles to reach the occupants within. If these spores make contact with an organic being, they force the organism to metabolize, serving as the breeding ground for a near instantaneous metabolization and birth of a pair of broodlings. The explosive birth is fatal to the host.
  • While they have since been phased out by the new Zerg Queens, these old ones continued to exist at Aiur, and were shortly taken control of by Amon during the End War. Alexei Stukov would eventually claim some and field them himself, and that was how they got ascended in the first place after he made an appeal to the Court of the Gods.
  • Their present "temple" takes the form of a standard Zerg Hive cluster plus an Infested Command Center that had been acquired during the conflict against the United Earth Directorate. It's been instructed to keep to itself, defend itself from attacks on its location, and send out forces to any Zerg superior should they call for them.
  • With their Spawn Broodling ability, they're the bane of any unit on the ground, no matter their size, their strength, or how much machine is between them and the outside. The only ones immune to this are Energy Beings (like Protoss Archons), completely robotic units (like Protoss Probes and Reavers), and other non-organic beings. It's also offset by the fact that it takes a lot of energy from the Queen, requiring it to recharge a lot before being able to Spawn Broodling again.
    • Fenix in particular is infuriated with this, given it's an instant kill and the likelihood that Kerrigan's enslaved cerebrate gave a Queen this order.
  • It's not often shown, but Brood Queens are capable of operating in the air and on the ground.
  • Brood Queens' Ensnare can drastically slow down those in drenches, negating the effects of Terran Stim Packs, and putting air units at a disadvantage.
  • Brood Queens' Parasites allow them to see whatever their host sees (that includes invisibility detection if the host has it). However, for some reason, they lose sight of the host when they enter a building or a transport vessel. Additionally, a Queen's Parasite can be overridden by another Queen's Parasite.
  • While the following hatreds apply to the Zerg race as a whole, as species representatives who aren't special cases (like Kerrigan), the (Brood) Queens are often targets of the Imperium, the Star Fox team, and all Star Trek deities (sans the Borg, who in turn wish to assimilate them).

So I have made some adjustments for Joseph's rework. That said, I'm not reposting his profile as there's nothing notable about the update other than the organizing of his allies.

Still, I'm open to suggestions, though I personally think I'm done with it.

  • John Hammond is the Scottish CEO of International Genetics Incorporated or International Genetic Technologies, short for InGen, a bioengineering company. Owning several capitalistic ventures in different tropical islands as well as Costa Rica and Kenya, Hammond's next step to success was to be something which he thought would blow people's minds. He settled for an island called Isla Nublar where he would set up the foundations of Jurassic Park, a theme park that showcased living, breathing dinosaurs recreated by genetic technology. Inviting a group of people due to a maintenance accident that cost the life of an employee, Hammond tried to keep his idealism affirmed, even after he was facing several criticisms from his visitors. After Jurassic Park had a power outage due to a sabotaging attempt by Dennis Nedry to steal dinosaur embryos and DNA for rival company Biosyn, Hammond was forced to confront the harsh reality that his park was doomed to fail. While he would aid the survivors and eventually evacuate, Hammond was distressed to see that his dream was shattered.
    • Due to the disastrous Isla Nublar incident, Hammond was evicted out of InGen and his CEO position was taken by his nephew, Peter Ludlow and he himself was progressively becoming sick. He called Dr Ian Malcolm a few years later to discuss Isla Sorna, or Site B, the island where the dinosaurs were really cloned and nurtured and told Ian about InGen working with a group of hunters to capture dinosaurs for display at a new Jurassic Park in San Diego, California. He urges Malcolm to take a trip there who, while initially declining it, eventually decides to go after learning that his girlfriend, Sarah Harding is already there. After the events that transpire in the island and the T. rex rampage in San Diego which causes the public to become aware of the dinosaurs' existence, Hammond announces his intent to make Isla Sorna a restricted zone by the Us and Costa Rican armies so that the dinosaurs could thrive without interference, a pact that would later be known as the Gene Guard Act.
  • John Hammond ascended into the Pantheon after his mortal coil had been shed sometime after the San Diego incident. Admittedly, Hammond was at peace, quietly living a life until the Prehistoric Beasts was established whereupon he would take small visits every now and then, only this time, the living dinosaurs there were actually organic without any genetic tampering. He could only smile with some content, knowing that they would be safeguarded without them getting interrupted too much.
  • Hammond has taken great measures to ensure that the Prehistoric Beasts Sub-House is protected and secured at all costs. He sometimes meets with Rexxar, who, despite his intimidating appearance, complies with the old man and keeps his word regarding the Sub-House's protection. Rexxar also understands the fact that Hammond is trying to make amends with the failure of Jurassic Park, though he does admittedly chastise him for trying to tinker with things that were out of his control. Hammond complies.
    • He's become amicable towards the more residential dinosaurs rather quickly, with Hammond often visiting the Great Valley out of amazement. The Gang of Seven are open to allowing him in, albeit with some permission from their guardians, alongside Speckles, Dino, Hoppy and Rampardos easily tolerating his presence. Regarding predators such as Rexie, the Raptor Pack and the Carnotaurs, Hammond would like to make sure they are monitored and looked after for their protection. The exceptions seem to be the more villainous dinosaurs like Sharptooth, Riptor and the Spinosaurus, but especially the latter as Hammond never commissioned for its creation and the Spinosaurus was a test drive for genetic hybrid dinosaurs, which Hammond sees with disdain.
  • Because Jurassic Park was such a notable event, Hammond is simply best known for being the owner of the park, a position that has remained very controversial on his part. Not to mention he was replaced in InGen which didn't help matters either. In the Pantheon, however, there are far worse and hotly debated topics that dwarf Hammond's complications, so at least he isn't in too much pressure over the Park's failure.
  • While he and Alan Grant do keep in contact, the latter admits that the experience in Jurassic Park did make him very jaded towards dinosaurs in general and much of his frustration is instead sent towards InGen for being reckless in that they could control a series of animals that were heavily genetically modified and were potentially a threat to anyone that crossed their paths.
    • Ian Malcolm, on the other hand, is a lot more jaded and cynical towards Hammond, given that the expedition team being sent to Isla Sorna was not avoiding problems, but in Ian's words, "making all new ones". While the dinosaurs were given proper conservation, later on, Malcolm does seem to have raised a point, given Jurassic World was the result of InGen trying to capitalize in making another theme park due to Isla Sorna and the dinosaurs becoming public knowledge. All that said, Malcolm does admit that Hammond wants to redeem himself and are currently on amicable terms for the time being.
  • Was surprised to learn about an alternate iteration of himself that predated him by three years. Hammond was shocked and appalled by how his novel version turned out; Novel!Hammond was also prone about Cutting Corners, except he was more deliberate about it, intentionally wanted dangerous dinosaurs for a "real experience", blackmailed his employees and clients, actively endangered his grandchildren and admitted that his goal was to make money above all else and personally muses that he would "never help mankind". Movie!Hammond wanted Jurassic Park to be accessible towards everyone and his idealism clearly contrasts the notions of his novel counterpart, in addition to being concerned about the safety of the park's employees, survivors and his grandchildren.
  • Hammond's idealism was a trait that was also apparent under Doctor Light, who had a more grander ambition for a peaceful coexistence between humans and robots. Alas, the machinations of Doctor Wily deterred that nation, although Doctor Light still strived to maintain goodwill between human and robotkind. Hammond was placed to see such a comparison, although both express sorrow over the fact that their aims for benefit get increasingly tarnished in the future. Nevertheless, they became good friends, although they don't have any plans of working together scientifically, claiming they've got their own issues to deal with in the meantime.
  • His attempts at conservation have earned him some respect for the Grand United Alliance of Good, though Gaea thinks he has a lot more to do to get admiration. The other members of the Grand United Alliance Of Nature are rather amicable with Hammond and have invited him to join their ranks. Hammond respectfully declined, though he does invite some members to his household for a good talk and feast.
  • The idea of Jurassic Park intrigued Isuzu Sento, who herself is a security worker for the Amagi Brilliant Park. She found the cloned dinosaurs to be fun to look at, though she expressed disappointment at Hammond for the fact that he couldn't properly maintain control over the park, as can be attested to the power outage and the escaping dinosaurs. Still, Isuzu has no ill will to Hammond and encourages his aim at atonement. She's given a thought about inviting the old man to Amagi Brilliant Park at some point.
    • That said, they can both agree on opposing the Indominus and Indoraptor. For all his thoughts on thinking his ideas would amaze the world, Hammond wouldn't go as far as to create something that was deliberately designed to be a threat, let alone a war weapon. As of currently, the Indominus and Indoraptor have no thoughts on him, given that Hammond died more than a decade before their existence, though if they did meet, the only thing they'd register Hammond as would be prey.
  • His first interaction with David Attenborough was admittedly surreal for the latter's part. It turns out that Hammond looks strikingly similar to David's late brother, Richard Attenborough. Hammond himself was perplexed to learn of his uncanny similarities and paid condolences to David about it. David has asked if he could document Hammond's dinosaurs, their lifestyle, their interactions with nature and their reputation with a narration of course, to which he complied.
These creatures require our absence to survive, not our help. And if we could only step aside and trust in nature, life will find a way.

Do we have a god for Egocentrically Religious? I think I have a good candidate: Lorgar Aurelian, who basically has a pathological need to worship something greater than himself to excuse his horrible acts. It's not HIS fault he [atrocity], he was compelled by god! And he's not picky: when his initial idol The Emperor Of Mankind told him to knock off the worship, Lorgar rushed off to the Ruinous Powers and readily accepted them as the true divinity, no matter how much he whinges about how 'he didn't want the truth to be THIS'.

Monsters didn't take much to get too big again. Guys, we should brainstorm another sub-house to deal with its weight. Or does someone want to get wild and think we need a new house. Either way, I'm out of ideas

As much as 40K amuses me, I fear that we need to at the very least rework the present profiles from the tabletop, a goal that I have plans to finish (hopefully) by the end of the year. I will be possibly in charge of it and I am also planning to sacrifice a few profiles that I may deem replaceable.

Anyways, been long since I actually made progress on the Didact, but I wish to post him for some new ideas. Maybe commanders of ships in space, warriors who believe the strong should rule all or even those who have gone through the same infection as he has experienced with the flood. Maybe even haters of humanity who are willing to go in act of genocide alongside with him.

  • Theme Song: Revival
  • Greater God
  • Symbol: The Cryptum. Alternatively, the Shield-World Requiem or his ship, the Mantle's Approach.
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral, though Chaotic Evil on the eyes of humans and Lawful Evil on the eyes of his fellow Prometheans.
  • Portfolio: Named "Shadow-of-Sundered-Star" for his warrior caste, Protector of the Ecumene for thousands of years, around 100,000 years old, wears an advanced Forerunner Combat Skin, believes humanity should be destroyed for killing his own kin, would kill an entire species for harvesting to get rid of the Flood, turned from a stoic general into a genocidal madman, lost the opportunity to kill Chief twice, touched by imprints of the Precursors to kill all threats to them, not entirely dead somehow
  • Domains: Forerunners, Technology, War, Telekinesis, Genocide
  • Heralds: The Promethean Warriors
  • Allies:
  • Worthy Foes: Grand Admiral Thrawn, Lady Honor Harrington, Commander Shepard, Juzo Okita
  • Enemies: The Master Chief, Cortana, The Flood, The Tenno, The Infested, The Guardians, Oryx, The Combine, Sarah Kerrigan, Arcturus Mengsk, Jim Raynor, and the remaining Protoss, Terrans and Zerg for that matter, the Imperium and their servants, alongside the rest of the Xenos, XCOM
  • Opposes: All humans, regardless of alignment
  • The Milky Way galaxy, hosts various worlds, all of different forms of flora and fauna, but at the same time also hosts various installations known, as the "Halo Rings". These tools were the heralds to the galaxy's long past that was nearly driven to extinction, all done by the Forerunners due to a long trans-galactic conflict from ages ago. These rings, if ever activated, would wipe out all of the galaxy. Since then, a religious formation known as the Covenant would race against time to discover more about these rings and the technologies that power them, and at the same time, humanity would respond to their war by sending their forces to intercept them. By the time the war ended and the threat known as the Flood re-emerged and was defeated by a ring's self-destruction, did humanity start gathering themselves for a new frontier, the recollection of these mysterious relics and security to the remaining installations.
    • However, humanity would soon discover that such actions would reawaken an old past of the galaxy's history. When the Master Chief, humanity's greatest Spartan, was found after 4 years of cryostasis, did he discover the Shield-World of Requiem and inadvertently released an old Forerunner that was imprisoned on the planet. Doing so was a terrible mistake as that not only brought a new threat that would assault humanity but put the Forerunners and humans to war and rekindle an old conflict that was dormant for eons. The Forerunner in question? The Didact, an old general and past warrior of the Forerunner Ecumene. He was a respectable warrior but slowly despised humanity for their transgressions in the past. With the old Forerunner awakened, and seeing that humanity has not learned from its mistakes, did he gather his Promethean forces under the banner to destroy them in its entirety.
  • His arrival did not bring good news, especially towards humanity in general. His hatred to the entire species is rooted on his past as the Forerunner Encumene were the main dominant species of the entire galaxy. It also doesn't help that said species holds one philosophy they had followed for even 100,000 years, the Mantle of Responsibility. It is this core tenet of their ideals that prefer the strong to become stewards to all of life. In theory, this would work very well as it would avoid conflicts on each biodiversity, but in practice, the Forerunners' draconian rule on the philosophy allowed them to subjugate lesser species under their control. That also explains why Forerunner technology have been installed in different planets, and their unwillingness to give the Mantle to other beings, such as the Ancient Humans. When the Flood came in and a trans-galactic war was at risk, this posed a threat to not only the Forerunner species, but to every living thing imaginable.
    • As for what the Didact did back then, when one of his colonies was killed off by the Ancient Humans' Lord of Admirals, he perceived this as an act of war against his entire species, little did he know that the elimination of one of his colonies was not out of war, but to prevent something worse, the Flood. Despite the slow warnings, his commanding skills lead to the Forerunner's success on Ancient Humanity and forced them into a pre-technological state. This war severely weakened the rest of the Forerunners and lead to the disastrous war between the Forerunners and Flood. His arrogance and continuous reverence to the Mantle has lead to his exile and if it was not bad enough, confronted the Gravemind, in a session that he describes it to be malediction than anything. This had a lasting impact, as the Didact resorted to more inhumane methods to eliminate the impending Flood threat.
    • Meanwhile, his wife, The Librarian, made several tasks that would help imprint other living species into Arks that would place them under safety from the Flood Infection as a desperate act to save the lifeforms of the galaxy. However, with the Didact's change of methodology and attitude, all more worsened by Flood manipulation, did he oppose this and resorted to more extreme tactics, among which was the usage of the Composer, to harvest the remaining humans to become his new Promethean Warriors. This act, alongside his other treacherous acts of war crimes such as his unwillingness to choose more rational methods, and his change of philosophy that the Mantle should only be wielded by the strong, lead to his imprisonment on the Shield-World Requiem, forced into a prison where he will have to meditate and reflect on his self. There was just one problem, the Halo Array destroyed everything including the large Forerunner records reliquary known as the Domain. What would have turned from a thousand years of meditation, would soon become the Didact's thousand years of insanity and rage as he stared into the blackness of the world.
    • On July 21, 2557, the Shield-World would soon come by contact from a UNSC ship known as Forward Unto Dawn, where the Master Chief has been in cryostasis for over four years. After being taken by Covenant Remnant ships, the Shield-World scanned the presence of a Spartan, thus opening and launching both Chief, his AI partner Cortana and the remaining Covenant Forces. Under hearing of signals of another UNSC ship, Chief followed the signal up until the Cryptum, where the Didact was imprisoned on the core of the planet. Thinking such construct would support them in finding the signal, proved to be a terrible mistake as not only did he reawakened the Didact, but also unleashed the Prometheans across the galaxy, as he vows to end humanity to fulfill his long plan: to keep the Mantle under Forerunner rule.
  • Multiple alarms were triggered when a large spacecraft entered Pantheon airspace. Those described the ship as a white, tall-shaped craft, with a large cannon on the bottom and a number of escort fighters. As it fired the cannon on Pantheon grounds, several military forces reacted and engaged it, with most assaults unable to pierce through its' defenses, until aid from the Master Chief and assistance from the Imperium halted its progress. Entering into the ship, he found an old foe, the Didact, preparing himself for combat, but before he positioned himself, the ship, alongside his Cryptum, crashed. Unwilling to accept capture, he fled with the remains of his ship and set up his own place on one of the hidden spaces of the Pantheons. One can guess which space he is in, but the Master Chief can tell that the Didact is not fleeing, not until his plan to fulfill the Mantle is completed, and that he is the barrier between the Promethean and humanity's extinction.
  • With the untimely assault of the Didact, multiple battleships have started targeting certain places of interest where the Didact may be, in an effort to avoid another sudden arrival of his attack. With multiple battlefleets ready, most have attempted to hunt down the Mantle's Approach, with futility. Lead by Lady Honor Harrington, she collaborated with Captain Juzo Okita of the Space Battleship Yamato and Commander Shepard of the N7 Crew to hunt down the Forerunner and secure the outer reaches of space. It wasn't until Shepard, Harrington and Juzo received transmissions of a challenge from an unsuspecting force. Sensing it was a trap, Harrington ordered her fleet to flank on the left while Shepard handled the right and the Battleship Yamato was to fire on the front. What they saw was a badly damaged Mantle's Approach, in near completion of repairs. With all orders to fire at will, all three fired their salvos on the ship, with none penetrating its defenses. It then released a bunch of escort craft that assaulted both its flanks as Juzo's weaponry barely scratched the shields of the ship. As it was slowly winning from the newfound tactics Harrington planned, she ordered one of her ships to act as a distraction as she called reinforcements. Moments later, the Mantle's Approach was once found heavily penetrated by a new arriving fleet, Battlefleet Gothic, as a response from the Imperium against him. Desperate, the Didact retreated once more into the blackest corners of space, hiding as he repairs the rest of his ship. But before he would retreat, he would give all three commanders a last transmission, stating how their skills have surprised him and sees them as worthy foes in ship-to-ship combat.

Ok, here is what i got:

  • Split Monsters into "Monster Types" and "Monster Behavior". That should at least find us a suitable split for the House.
