Pantheon / GUAE Mastermind

Go To

These are the leaders and tacticians of the Grand United Alliance of Evil. Fortified in the central tower of Barad-dur, they eternally plot to bring about their apocalyptic visions. In most cases they are worth their brawn as much as their brain, for evil is the will of the strong. Of course, there is still the small technicality of exactly whose apocalyptic vision they will be achieving...

At least, that's the general view. While there are a lot of Card-Carrying Villains, most even in the Mastermind work for their self-interest, vendettas with members of the Grand United Alliance of Good or the belief that Good Is Old-Fashioned. Melkor himself is motivated by a twisted sense of kinship with his fellow villains, spite at the forces of goodness and generally wanting to bring suffering out of said spite.

A nasty blow was dealt to the Mastermind with the creation of the Grand United Alliances of Law and Chaos: Grandfather Paradox, Doctor Doom, and Gendo Ikari deserted the GUAE to join Chaos (the former) and Law (the latter two) respectively, as they fit their ideals more than pure evil did. Melkor is less than pleased at this turn of events.

In more recent events, Melkor's own successor as Dark Lord and one of the GUAE's supreme commanders, Sauron has deserted the GUAE and become one of Darkseid's chief enforcers, taking a sizeable number of Mordor's forces with him. Add to that the fact that the Lord of Tyranny is using this as a power play to begin creating his own Grand United Alliance that is likely to drain more followers of the GUAE and that makes literal Armageddon in Barad-dur.

While the Mastermind leads the Alliance officially, Melkor's inner circle, The Four Horsemen (Griffith, Johan Liebert, Majin Buu and himself) are considered the highest-ranking members, even if some of said members are not part of the GUAE Mastermind. At least that was how things went initially. Melkor has decided to add his Horsemen as part of his restructuring of the Mastermind, in part to keep an eye on the leaders of the various sub-alliances within the GUAE. The Evil Council serves as a more general group of high-ranking evildoers.

The God of Evil and His Horsemen

Melkor, God of Evil (Morgoth, Bauglir, Belegurth, Belegûr, Arun, Mbelekor, The First Dark Lord, The Great Enemy, The Black Foe of the World, The Corrupter, Dark Enemy of the World, Lord of Angband and Utumno, King of the World, Elder King, Master of the Fates of Arda, Black King, Master of Lies, Dark Hunter, Lord of All and Giver of Freedom, Lord of the Dark, Melko, Belcha, Ulban(d), Melegor, Meleko, Alkar, Mardello, Manfréa Bolgen)

  • Overdeity of Evil
  • Symbol: His iron crown, with the Silmarils absent from it.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil, however, he can just as easily pretend to be Lawful or Neutral Evil if it suits his purposes
  • He is by far the most powerful and feared of all villains as the role given to him is to be the very embodiment of evil itself. As such, he can never be truly destroyed. For as long as evil exists in the hearts and minds of all living things in all the myriad universes and realities, he will he remain Nigh-Invulnerable to all attempts to kill him.
  • Is behind the creation of almost every villain born in 20th and 21st-century fiction.
  • Although he's incapable of truly loving anyone but himself, Melkor does have a twisted sense of affection for his followers and views them as his little brothers and sisters. As such he's quite willing to give them what they desire just so long as they remember who's going to be the supreme god of the new omniversal order the GUAE will create.
  • And as long as they succeed. He may be willing to reward a minion for services rendered, but a minion that fails him is worthless. And, in the end, the alliance is naught but new godly minions to him, as well as a convenient shield against his enemies while he grows stronger. Many plot against him, but what they don't realize is that Melkor is the root of their power. And even if they should succeed, he will eventually absorb them into his being, as he cannot abide anything that exists apart from himself.

Griffith, God of Irredeemable Sins (Femto, the Hawk of Light/the Hawk of Darkness, White Hawk, The Fifth Blessed King, King of Longing, Goofy-Ass Rape Raven)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: A Burning Hawk
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil (used to be Lawful Neutral before his Face–Heel Turn)
  • Head of: The GUAE Corruption Agents
  • Horseman Role: War
  • Reason for Joining: After the Ebon Dragon (Melkor's previous corruptor and Horseman) was dismissed from his Alliance and removed from the Pantheon for proving irrelevant to him, Melkor brought Griffith in as a replacement. His empire and Gilded Cage of a dystopian world greatly interested the God of Evil, who brought Griffith in on the promise to be made Supreme God of the Berserk world.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: So long as he gets to slaughter Guts, he remains Melkor's faithful fighter. Otherwise, his retribution is slow and terrible, like what happened with the Eclipse. If Griffith's in a good mood, he'll let the rest of the Godhand deal with him.
  • Threat Level: High. He's a one-shot killer as a swordsman, with only a few like Guts matching him in terms of expertise and ferocity. In addition to this skill as a fighter and warlord, Griffith is one of the most charismatic villains in the Pantheon, inspiring utter devotion for his journey from nothing to something, even if most of those devotees are aware that he's irredeemably evil now. He is also invulnerable to anything in the physical realm since he's one of the Godhand, and has the telekinetic ability to manipulate time and space.
  • When he first entered the GUAE, it was solely as Melkor's Horseman of War. He serves as Melkor's chief marshal and military coordinator, or the overinflated title of 'Grand Marshal of the Alliance'. When Kane resigned from the GUAE, Melkor eventually put Griffith in charge of the GUAE Corruption Agents after it was left without a commander for a long time.
  • As Melkor's quote-on-quote 'minister of war' with the rank of Grand Marshal, his rival Palpatine reports both to him and Melkor, which he resents greatly.

Johan Liebert, God of Sociopathy and Mind Control Without Superpowers (The Antichrist, The Monster, The Next Hitler)

  • Demigod (though his Mind Rape powers rival those of an Overdeity)
  • Symbol: "The Monster With No Name" by Franz Bonaparta (creepy children's book)
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil (Why? Just because.)
  • Head of: The GUAE Liebertarian Movement
  • Horseman Role: Famine
  • Reason for joining: "Ha ha ha... Why not?"
  • Loyalty to Melkor: None. Johan has no loyalty to anyone, for that matter, and is likely to betray Melkor in time, a possibility that frightens the Dark Enemy. Not for Johan taking control of the GUAE, but for how much control he can quickly wrest away from Melkor.
  • Threat Level: VERY HIGH, more so than even the Joker. Aside from being a professional in manipulating people and breaking their faith in humanity, the fact that he can and definitely will kill anyone whose even just in his mere presence makes him very dangerous, therefore people who ever encounter him need an overdose of Heroic Resolve to survive his mind-breaking. Even the purest of gods find it difficult to not suffer any symptoms of his corrupting influence.
  • With the rank of Grand Marshal, Johan serves both as Melkor's resident mental torturer and chief intelligence officer. Considering how many deities he's managed to break, many in the GUAG, especially the Magical Girl Sisterhood, have it out for him.

Majin Buu, God of Omnicidal Mania (Djinn Boo, Majin Boo, Super Buu, Kid Buu, Pure Boo, Evil Boo, The Most Vicious Monster in the Dragon Ball Universe)

  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: A chocolate bar.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Horseman Role: Death
  • Reason for joining: For the Evulz. And if there is any other coherent reason, it's to re-absorb his other self, Fat Buu.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Melkor gives him candy and something to annihilate every day, so he's not betraying the hand that feeds him until a better offer comes along. Being one of his deputies, he gets plenty of each, so he'll stay for now
  • Threat level: EXTREME and potentially infinite. His strongest attack could potentially destroy a single planet ten times over. With every being or thing he absorbs, he also absorbs their power and is capable of doing this without any foreseeable limit. However, this also means absorbing their characteristics, which created his other half, Good Buu.
  • Nekron, the leader of the Grand United Alliance of Destruction feeds him as much candy as Melkor does, so the two Alliances are currently fighting over him. It's more of a Space Cold War than a hot war right now, so if that's any consolation.
  • Serves as Melkor's chief destroyer and personal muscle, akin to a bodyguard and gang member if you can imagine that dynamic. His Achilles' Heel of fusing has largely been eliminated thanks to the Mutation Lair, but Melkor is also trying to find Fat Buu so he can recreate Super Buu for his own purposes. Before that though he is developing a way to fuse and de-fuse them at will so Super Buu doesn't betray/absorb him.

The Mastermind Supreme Council

They consist of the leaders of the various branches of the Grand United Alliance Of Evil, and Melkor trusts them the most out of his many followers.

Sheev Palpatine, God of The Empire and The Dark Side (Darth Sidious, The Emperor, Supreme Chancellor, Senator Palpatine)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: the Sith insignia
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Head of: The GUAE Conquest Force. And de-facto head of the GUAE Victory Wing
  • Reason for joining: POWERRRRRRRR! UNLIMITED POWERRRRRRRR!
  • Loyalty to Melkor: High so long as their relations continue to be useful for him, and he has much to learn from Melkor and his fellow villains. Once he's learnt enough, he'll destroy Melkor and his Horseman with all the power and might of the dark side that he has, and, failing that, split his revitalized Empire from the GUAE in hopes of regaining control over his galaxy thanks to Melkor's 'assistance' in resurrecting his forces.
  • Threat Level: As the commander of the GUAE's main force, and his near unparalleled mastery of the Force compared to most of his predecessors, very high indeed. EXTREME should his endless supply of clones to ensure his longevity be a truth.
  • Is one of the most valuable members of the Grand United Alliance of Evil, not only because of his brilliant oratory skills, charisma and utter viciousness, but also because of his ties to other prominent villains in the Pantheon. His place in the Tyrannical Figures sub-house affords him close ties to former Mastermind member Sauron (defected to Darkseid), Thanos (member of the Grand United Alliance of Destruction) and Big Brother (member of the Grand United Alliance of Law). Thanks to these connections, Melkor can gain intel on the activities of potential rivals and counter them if need be. However, Palpatine's neighbours are perfectly aware of this and either send back false information or minimal information on non-critical operations with enough truth to occupy Melkor.
  • Obviously, he has abused his position with glee and added three of his high-ranking adjutants to his inner circle so he can keep an eye on them. Especially after his apprentice Darth Vader publicly deserted him and later the GUAE entirely, a great embarrassment.
  • While a well-connected and crafty member of the GUAE, Melkor is legitimately worried about the risk he poses to his rule since Palpatine also has de-facto control of the GUAE Victory Wing, a division full of villainous victors that the Emperor could use to take him on and potentially succeed.

Tom Marvolo Riddle, God of Great Villains With Mundane Names and Phylacteries (Lord Voldemort, The Dark Lord, He Who Must Not Be Named, You-Know-Who, Voldy)

  • Symbol: The Dark Mask; a skull with a snake for a tongue
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Head of: The GUAE Malum Magia
  • Reason for joining: The destruction of Harry Potter, complete control over his world, Complete Immortality and the eradication of muggles.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: None. It's an alliance of convenience bolstered with new ideas on the Dark Arts
  • Threat level: Being capable of killing someone with two words, high.

Casval Rem Deikun, God of Chromatic Superiority (The Red Comet, Édouard Mass, Char Aznable, Quattro Bajeena, Grand Admiral Char/Char dai-taishō (GUAE rank)formerly , a CHAR, Blue-Eyed Casval, Ped Comet, Char "Ago"nable/Agoi Suisei, "Chin Comet")

  • Intermediate God (has Greater God authority)
  • Symbol: The Newborn Neo Zeon crest, his personal emblems, or any one of his mobile suitsnote
  • Alignment: True Neutral overall with shades of other alignments depending on what phase he's in (Neutral Evil during the One Year War, Chaotic Good during the Gryps War as Quattro Bajeena, and Lawful Evil during the Second Neo Zeon War)
  • Head of: The GUAE Mecha Cohort
  • Reason for joining: He thought the Pantheon is doomed with constant wars and decided that joining the GUAE and its propensity for aggressive action will allow the men of Pantheon becoming Cyber-Newtype Gods and prevent more wars.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Melkor promised. As with a lot of others, he's ready to betray at a moment's notice. The entry of villains like Perfectio and later Ex- into the GUAE Mecha Cohort leave him constantly conflicted as to whether he made the right choice. Other Made of Evil villains in his Alliance have made him start to consider leaving even though the decision could prove fatal. He hasn't left yet out of a sense of obligation to his fellow pilots in the Cohort.
  • Threat to Cosmos: High. A combination of Ace Pilot skills and Popularity Power have made Char a force to be reckoned with. Every pilot who isn't an ace or a Newtype with Plot Armor in the GUAG Robot War Division either 'flees' or calls for the big dogs whenever he shows up on the battlefield.

Nyarlathotep, Living Embodiment of All Evil in Humanity's Heart

  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: A golden crown wrapped in a black tentacle
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil (He's the Crawling Chaos, but the Demonic Compendium identifies him as a Jashin/Vile, which are Lawful. The inconsistency gives Nyarlathotep the giggles)
  • De-facto head of: The GUAE Trollkaiger
  • Reason for joining: To agitate everything in the multiverse into chaos, woe and discord... and "awaken" humanity to its true potential.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: None. Nyarlathotep note  entered the war to prove to his eternal rival Philemon humanity has nothing to strive for save for hate, evil and destruction; therefore, concepts like hope, love and compassion are meaningless to the race. Given how humans make up for the vast majority of the members of all pantheons, a victory for him would conclude the war by decisively giving the GUAE a resounding triumph. Melkor can do whatever he wants after that; there will be nothing else to prove. This, however, isn't going to stop him from making Melkor into his pawn.
  • Threat level: Very high. Nyarlathotep is the physical manifestation of every single evil act, thought, or feeling ever experienced by Humanity, and his power derives from how many humans have chosen The Dark Side. As Long as There Is Evil in the hearts of men, Nyarlathotep will never die.

Molag Bal, Daedric Prince of Rape and Tempting Others to Do Evil (Stone-Fire — in Aldmeri, Harvester of Souls, God of Schemes, The Lord of Domination, The Hated One, Lord of Brutality, King of Rape, The Prince of Rage, Lord of Violation, The King of Corruption, Father of Vampires, the Slave-Lord)

Tzeentch, God of Planning (Changer of Ways, the Architect of Fate, the Weaver of Destiny, the Grand Schemer, the Great Conspirator, the Indecisive Mollusk)

  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: The Number 9. The Mark of Tzeentch
  • Alignment: Chaotic Something
  • Co-head of: The GUAE Vile Specialists
  • Reason for joining: It's all part of the plan...
  • Loyalty to Melkor: More "alliance" than loyalty. He thinks he's manipulating Melkor. Melkor thinks he's manipulating Tzeentch. Everybody wins!
  • Threat level: Very high. Potentially, everyone's his follower.

Khorne, the Violent Red God (Blood God, Lord of Skulls, Brass Lord of Battles, Kharneth, Arkhar, the Axefather, the Wolf-Father, the Bloodwolf, the Hunter of Souls, the Paraplegic Sociopath)

  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: The Number 8. The Mark of Khorne
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Co-head of: The GUAE Vile Specialists
  • Reason for joining: Blood! Blood!! BLOOD!!!
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Say what you will about Melkor, but the dude knows how to massacre.
  • Threat level: Very high. Pure rage is deadly. Not only that, many of the more powerful heroes in the GUAG actually have a tendency for violence, which Khorne might use as a way to corrupt them to the GUAE's side.

Nurgle, God of Beneficial Diseases (Lord of Decay, Master of Plague and Pestilence, Lord of All, The Plaguefather Grandfather Nurgle, Papa Nurgle, the Supernatural Garbage Bag)

  • Symbol: The Number 7. The Mark of Nurgle
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil (thinks he's Chaotic Good)
  • Co-head of: The GUAE Vile Specialists
  • Reason for joining: He just whipped up a delightful new batch of poxes that he's sure the others will enjoy!
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Melkor promised to give him an array of designer diseases from his last war against the gods which were still in the laboratory when he was banished if Nurgle would help him out.
  • Threat level: Very high. All diseases obey him, so he could wipe out a huge part of the GUAG before they could even defend themselves. The GUAG Medical Division considers him the greatest threat in the GUAE.

Slaanesh, God/dess of Sensory Obsession (Dark Prince, Prince of Excess, She Who Thirsts, the Serpent, the Great Enemy, the Bright God, the One Who Never Went to Rehab)

Aku, The God Made of Evil (The Shogun of Sorrow, The Shapeshifting Master of Darkness, The Master of Masters, The Deliverer of Darkness, Ikra, The Hermit)

  • Greater God (possible Overdeity in his original form)
  • Theme Music: This.
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Reason for joining: To destroy THE FOOLISH SAMURAI WHO GETS IN HIS WAY! Maybe order a pizza too while he’s at it.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Low. AKU IS THE ONE AND TRUE EVIL. But Melkor at least gives him birthday gifts...
  • Threat level: Very High. Despite his ridiculous attitude, Aku is literally an embodiment of primal evil and has conquered not just the world but the universe itself in the timeline where he rules supreme.

Albert Wesker, God of Sinister Shades (Wesker, Practical Al)

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: His sunglasses with a glowing red eye behind them.
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil.
  • Head of: The GUAE Mutation Lair
  • Reason for joining: He was promised the key to the ultimate evolution of all beings, and the ability to spread them all, ensuring COMPLETE. GLOBAL. SATURATION.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: The dude knows enough about genetics. Anybody with the potential to convert elves into orcs is rather fine in his book.
  • Threat to Cosmos: High. The man's a walking tank and he's very knowledgeable on genetics.

Lord Chaos, God of Temporal Paradoxes (Earl Tyrant, Garland, Walker of the Wheel)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: The Stigma of Chaos
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil (of course)
  • Head of: The GUAE Malice Incarnate
  • Reason for joining: The destruction of the Goddess that opposes him, Cosmos, and control over all the Final Fantasy worlds.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Strong. With Cosmos leading the forces of Harmony, the forces of Discord need an equally strong ally (who can knock them all down), and Melkor fits the bill perfectly in Chaos' mind.
  • Threat level: High to very high.

King Arthas Menethil, God of Embracing One's Inner Darkness (Crown Prince of Lordaeron, King of the fallen Lordaeron, Slaughterer/Butcher, First of the Lich King's Death Knights, Champion of The Scourge, The Lich King)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: The Crest of the Scourge
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil, formerly Chaotic Good
  • Head of: The GUAE Fallen Stars
  • Reason for joining: To resume his reign as the Lich King and spread the Scourge towards the Pantheon. And because "Only fools trusts the light" (not the one named 'Light Yagami')
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Medium-High. Arthas sees him as a being of power and wasn't really restricted with all those "goody-goody" stuffs. But sometimes he wonders if he should rally the Scourge and take over...
  • Threat Level: This is one of the most dangerous beings in Azeroth, highly powerful, taking names, commands legions of undead, can convert beaten enemies to his minions... VERY HIGH.

Typhon, God of Sealed Villains (Typhoeus, Typhaeon, Typhos, The Father of All Monsters, Titan of Wind, The Storm Giant, Echidna's Husband, The Last Of The Titans)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: Mt Etna
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Head of: The GUAE Legion of Monsters
  • Reason for joining: To avenge the fall of the Titans by slaying all the Greek gods and anyone associated with them.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Medium. Typhon is loyal to his parents above Melkor, however, they both have a history of commanding monsters and raging against the divine. Also, as the Father of Monsters Typhon is fond of the various monsters under Melkor's employ, so he's not going to fight Melkor over them.
  • Threat to Cosmos: Extreme. Typhon is the Father of Monsters and appropriately the strongest one of them all, being a terrifying force to virtually all the gods and beat Zeus the first time they fought.

Crow, God Of Villains Who Triumph (Broomstick, Pencil Man, Crowley, Crow Beans, Purple Pipsqueak, Purple Friend)

  • Intermediate God by himself, Greater God with his machines
  • Symbol: His Cool Helmet. Alternatively, his X or Crow Insigma.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil or at least that's what he's willing to claim; more like Chaotic Neutral, especially if things go too far
  • Head of: The GUAE Victory Wing (officially)
  • Qualifiactions: He's the main example of The Bad Guy Wins in the pantheon. And not cheaply, mind you. Privately, he's more of a sponsor and a distraction from the real head, Palpatine.
  • Main Reason For Joining: Hired Hand by Melkor after seeing just how successful he was with his own ventures on his home world. While Melkor isn't too pleased with Crow passing up the chance to take over the world, Melkor is still vastly impressed with his resume. Anyone who has a entire wing in a museum dedicated to his victories is worth considering.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Moderate. The best thing about Melkor to him is the fact that he’s paying him. That said, should Melkor stop paying him, he would still stick around to be around other fellow villains.
  • Threat Level To Cosmos: Very high. He’s a villain who ascended because he was winning too much, and those victories weren’t gained from the back of cereal boxes.

Dark Specter, Archdemon of Recycled Props (Grand Monarch of Evil)

  • Greater God, previously having an influence of an Overdeity
  • Symbol: A Table Filled With Costumed Baddies
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Head of: The Demonic Legion (now defunct)
  • Reason for joining: A very, very, very long time ago, Melkor had brought Dark Specter from the dead to lead the Demonic Legion and amass enough forces from the in-fighting to be loyal to Melkor. Dark Specter obliged and after years of loyal service and full ascension (and a full loyalty audit), was finally permitted to join the Masterminds.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Very High. Dark Specter cares about how much evil spreads and allying with Melkor is the best way to do that. Though Dark Specter sometimes dreams of having the GUAE all to himself.
  • Threat Level: Very High. He was so strong, that it took three Megazords to stop a single Colony Drop he had sent.
  • Serves as the so-called 'Chief Uniter' of Melkor's elite, having led a successful Legion of Doom long before Melkor ever did. Most of his rivals consider him small fry since he failed to fully utilize the Demonic Legion to the best of his ability before its dissolution. On his end, Dark Specter often tangles with the Great Leader of Shocker on Alliance policy.

Damien Thorn, The Antichrist, Prophet of the Grand United Alliance of Evil

  • Demigod (Overdeity in Authority)
  • Symbol: The Mark of the Beast
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil with Lawful Evil Traits
  • Reason for Joining: Ascended after finally dying without his goals being realized, Damien wanted to get back at this, immediately scoring a partnership with Melkor as the two shared a desire to lay the Pantheon in complete misery, destruction and suffering. He is also making plans to communicate other versions of Satan to unite them with Melkor. After spreading chaos throughout the Pantheon, Melkor decided to label Damien as the GUAE's Prophet, as a mocking opposite to what Jesus Christ would represent.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: High. Melkor is the representing God of Evil in the Pantheon, and Damien sees him as a version of Satan, hence he feels he is bound to his services. Given his destiny and (unholy) christening as the GUAE Prophet, he is one of Melkor's closest confidants and thus, is granted a great deal of authority and control. Some members think of Damien as Melkor's son, in a similar viewpoint that The Antichrist tends to be the offspring of Satan. Though in Damien's case, it's metaphorical.
  • Threat Level to Cosmos: Very High. His position as a Demigod can put various off-guard. Damien is able to have anyone who gets close to revealing his identity killed in any means, whether by himself, some supernatural events, his followers or by his hellhounds. He is also a businessman and politician, which allows him to display excellent manipulation skills to lull others to his side and bring up ideas for the GUAE to start development on. His position as The Antichrist allows him to subjugate most evil beings to his side and they would fight and die for him when Damien wills it.

Vortechius Vortell Vortech, God of Bizarre And Unusual Crossovers (Lord Vortech)

  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: His staff and Cool Helmet, along with the Foundation Elements
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Reason for Joining: Believes by being here, he’ll gain access to more resources than he could have if he played lone wolf. Considering his status as Crossover Villain-in-Chief for so many places, Melkor finds it rather convienent he doesn’t have to go up to him to be rejected.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Low. Vortech watches for himself and wants to usurp Melkor and is just bidding his time.
  • Threat Level: EXTREME! He can’t die no matter how many times he’s defeated and he leads an army so vast, it rivals or even eclipses the entire GUAE’s army by itself.

Council of Evil

The lower echelons of Melkor's elite. They report to Melkor's Four Horsemen rather than Melkor himself.

Yhwach, God of Giving Power at a Price

  • Greater God, Potential Overdeity post-Soul King absorption
  • Symbol: Five-pointed Quincy Cross.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil (thinks he is Lawful something)
  • Reason for Joining: It is an honorary position he earned after killing Yamamoto.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: None whatsoever. Just like Chakravartin and Aizen, he intends to usurp Melkor when he has the opportunity to do so.
  • Threat to Cosmos: Very High. Although he lost Zanka no Tachi in the Pantheon, and Yamamoto was "willed" back to existence, he is no less of a threat due to "The Almighty", allowing him to see the future and negate any power he sees, so long as he does not come into conflict with a God that is more powerful than he.

Father, God of Homonculi (Homunculus, The Dwarf in The Flask)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: A one-eyed smiling black circle
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Reason For Joining: After he was released for the Gate of Truth, he made a deal with Melkor, promising to grant his many troops immortality, philosopher stones and even an army of zombie-like immortals.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: He claims that he has no reason to betray his allies, promising to give them what they agreed on. Then again he said the exact same thing to the King of Xerxes and the Amestrian Generals. So you can bet that it is pretty damn low.
  • Threat to Cosmos: Knowing almost everything about alchemy, being able to draw souls out of people and turn them into powerful objects along with his ability to plan for centuries makes him a Very High threat to the forces of good. However, should he ever be able to absorb a god (without having his souls drained through Alkahestry and Alchemy), then it is at an Extreme level.

Hades, God of Playing the Field (Lord of the Underworld, Jerk, "Go Home")

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: His "representative" symbol from Kid Icarus Uprising
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Reason For Joining: His idea of a good time is watching people fight to death, chaos, and destruction. He also knows a war will allow him to harvest the souls of the other gods to create unbelievably powerful monsters and servants.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: None. As stated above, he's doing this for a good time and souls, not out of any loyalty to Melkor. Also, they don't like each other much.
  • Threat to Cosmos: Very High. For THIS Hades to be defeated it took having his heart destroyed, getting cut in half, getting his head crushed by his own strongest attack, and FINALLY getting hit by a large Wave-Motion Gun. Not to mention, he's capable of resurrecting other gods and even healing himself if he has enough souls. Plus, an army of Underworld monsters is at his beck and call, which he can bolster with more souls.

Grima, God of Demonic Dragons (The Fell Dragon, Gimle, The Hierophant, The Creation)

  • Greater God, potential Overdeity
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Symbol: The Mark of Grima
  • Reason For Joining: Grima desires two things. The utter destruction of the Divine Dragons and all that remind him of them, and the total enslavement and destruction of mankind. Everything after that is completely unknown.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Very low. While the two do find some common ground, being nigh unkillable dark Dark Lords, the simple fact that even Melkor doesn't know exactly what Grima intends to do when all is said and done, including whether or not a betrayal is in the works, keeps them from fully trusting each other.
  • Threat Level to Cosmos: Very High. Not even counting for his own considerable power, he also has an army of both fanatical Grimeal followers and undead Risen, which were enough to reduce his world to a Death World in a Bad Future. Grima does not possess Complete Immortality, but he will eventually resurrect to anything but his own dark power.

Megatron, God of Arm Cannons (NBE-01, Emperor Of Destruction, The Slag-Maker, Galvatron, D-16, C-81, Megatronus, Megs, My Lord, Lord Megatron, Megacron, Unitron, Buckethead, Dark Lord, Leader of the Decepticons, My Liege, Bug M, One True Lord and Master, Ice Man, Lord High Protector of Cybertron)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: Either the Decepticon insignia (either G1 or G2), or the Predacon insignia.
  • Theme Song: "Instruments of Destruction", New Divide
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil (sometimes turns into Lawful Good)
  • Reason for joining: If the Autobots are on the GUAG’s side, then the Decepticons are siding with the GUAG.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Medium. While Megatron respects Melkor, the only thing Megatron really wants to get out of this is power for himself and the Decepticons under him.
  • Threat Level: Very High. Megatron’s true strength relies on is leadership skills that he displays to his followers.

Miraak, God of Tormenting Higher Beings (The First Dragonborn, The Traitor, Allegiance Guide)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: His Dragon Priest Mask
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Reason for joining: Miraak was brought back to life just to serve as a Mastermind. The Dragon Priest takes advantage of his position to its fullest extent and won't be leaving anytime soon.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: None. Considering Miraak has a massive Chronic Backstabbing Disorder, it's obvious he's going to do The Starscream on Melkor one day.
  • Threat to Cosmos: Very High. Miraak can use the "Bend Will" shout that even Overdeities can't resist. That's not even mentioning his other Dragon Shouts and combat prowess or his other signature shout: "Dragon Aspect".

Lord Drakkon, God of Despising One’s Own Alternate Selves (Thomas “Tommy” Oliver, Green Ranger, Mysterious Ranger, Ultimate Power Ranger)

  • Greater God who seeks to be an Overdeity
  • Symbol: His Power Coin
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil with a lot of Chaotic Evil tendencies
  • Reason for joining: Melkor offered him a commanding position after seeing his skill on leading an army. What sane villain would deny that offer?
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Moderate. Melkor is allowing him to kill every Ranger out there and regain his power.
  • Threat to Cosmos: Exceedingly High. He could create an entire army of Ranger-like soldiers and could drain the Morphers of any Ranger. Needless to say all toku heroes are rightfully wary of him.

Sosuke Aizen, God of Mind Manipulation (Captain Superman, Evil Superman, Captain Broken, "Sasuke" Aizen)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: An Arrancar mask fragment
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Reason for joining: Was promised complete control over Soul Society and the living world.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Melkor promised, and as far as Aizen is concerned, he damned well better deliver. Or so everyone thinks. Aizen has tried using the powers of his Kyoka Suigetsu on Melkor. He holds no real loyalty to Melkor, and if the timing is right, Aizen will take over. Too bad, Melkor already knows this and has begun taking countermeasures...
  • Threat to Cosmos: Extreme.

Koschei, God Of Villains Named "The Master" (The Master, Tremas, John Smith, Bruce, Professor Yana, Harold Saxon, Missy, The Mistress, Death's Champion)

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: A shattered Seal of Rassilon
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil, leaning on Chaotic depending on how sane he is
  • Reason for joining: He wasn't going to stand back and look the Paradox loons destroy the timelines he will rule, was he? Also, immortality. And it's a good way to screw around with the Doctor.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: The Master's dealt with gods before and betrayed them. He will do whatever's needed to secure his power and dispose of his enemies. Including Melkor, of course. Zero.
  • Threat level: He was given his old TARDIS and a new cycle of regenerations. Very high.

Dracula, Lord of Vampires (Drac, Nosferatu, Vlad the Impaler, Lord of Castlevania, Scourge of God, Lancer of Black, Mathias Cronqvist)

  • Greater God (all vampires can trace their origins to him somehow, and most defer to him as the highest of their race), can go up to Overdeity when he fuses with Death.
  • Symbol: A wine glass filled with blood.
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Reason for joining: The destruction of the Belmont clan.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: With Sauron now doing the "Lord of Mordor" thing rather than "Lord of Werewolves" like he was last time, Melkor had an opening for a top-level monster lord lieutenant, and Drac was perfect for the job.
  • Threat level: High to very high. The amount of evil creatures he commands is staggering, and he's no slouch (especially after transforming into a more powerful form).

Oda Nobunaga, Devil King of Obvious Evil (Dairoku Ten Ma Ou/Demon King of the Sixth Heaven, Feuding States Revolutionary)

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: Crest of the Oda Clan, stuck on a flag stuck on a skull throne.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Reason for joining: For EVERYONE to worship him. He also wants to take away his sister, Oichi, from the GUAG, since she is his plaything, so she belongs to him and NOBODY ELSE.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Nobunaga sees Melkor as a convenient ally. Once the Alliance is victorious, he is interested in fighting Melkor and taking what's supposed to be his. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
  • Threat to Cosmos: Considering his pedigree, quite high.

Malebolgia, Hellish Lord of Demonic Hierarchies

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: Eight Reddish Circles to Represent his Position in Hell
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Reason for joining: Likes the idea of causing as much misery in the world as he can through his armies can and since many other Demon Lords somehow did not come to join Melkor, it was decided he should pick up the slack where they refused.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Medium. It's All About Me is still present in Malebolgia and he would like a shot at knocking Melkor down for once. With that said, Melkor is a pretty savage guy and the Legions of Hell would go help him out .
  • Threat Level: Would be higher. While he knows and thing or two about planning, he noticeable lacks respect from even his own minions and the deceit he uses so often has been ousted out. So High with a chance to go Very High if he were smarter.

Souther, God of Abhorrence Towards Love (Thouther, Holy Emperor)

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: His massive Pyramid for his Master.
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Reason for Joining: After being scorned by his master for what he did in life, he retaliated by dialling his bastardliness up, and joining the Alliance was a good move to show that.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: For Souther, Melkor is just a convenient ally.
  • Threat level: Quite high. He's basically on par with the Hokuto Shinken brothers, and is the supreme ruler of the many Nanto Seiken schools. He has loads of followers who are VERY good at fighting. Also, his secret body technique makes him VERY hard to kill.

Dr. Weil, God of Abysmal Approval Ratings (Dr Vile, Kool-Aid Man, Devil, Model W, Lord Weil, Dr. Satan Incarnate)

Toyotomi Hideyoshi, God of Using Human Bodies As Weapons (Conqueror King, Gorilla)

  • Intermediate God
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Symbol: Toyotomi Clan crest with his Power Fist clenched upwards
  • Reason for joining: This is the only way to unite the Pantheon and destroy all the in-fighting! Oh, and of course vengeance against Ieyasu for putting that plan on halt. It's all right that he teams up with Nobunaga for the while, once it's all over, he'll kill him too.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Medium. Cosmos' allies would try to stop him at all cost, Melkor didn't. But at best, Melkor is just a convenient ally.
  • Threat Level: High. Take Nobunaga, give him charisma, gigantic size and a Raoh-like power... and Melkor at least got someone on par of Raoh on his side. Not to mention about rumors of his resourcefulness.
Arfoire, Goddess of Digital Piracy (The Deity of Sin, Magiquone)
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: A flash cart (either the R4 or Magic CFW)
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Reasons for joining: Spread piracy, destroy the Pantheon in order to reclaim her status as a Greater Goddess.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: High. She seems to share Melkor's interest in pure mass destruction.
  • Threat Level: High. Not just on her capabilities, but the fact that there's always some lazy people who depends on the easy way and worshipping piracy, she's near impossible to vanquish.

Odio, God of Evil By Expectance (Odio the Lord of Dark, Odo, Ou Di Wan Lee, Ode Iou, O. Dio, Odie O'Bright, Odeo, OD-10, Oersted)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: Statues of a Tyrannosaurus rex, an Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy, a tyrannical warlord, a thug with Gatling Gun, a bald fighter, a bird-like 'buddha statue', a Nightmare Face, with a black, cloaky figure at the center.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Reasons for joining: Humans Are Bastards. They pin the blame on him, think he's some demon after all his unwavering service to them. And the other Gods are no better. If they expect him to be evil to the point that he has nothing to love, believe in or call home, nothing but DEMONS/EVIL GOD, then an Evil God he'll be, and he'll show them the futility of their selfishness. Nyarlathotep has a lot of fun leading him by the nose.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: High. Melkor isn't those humans that blamed him and caused him to snap and is also supporting of his whole mindset.
  • Threat Level: EXTREME. He can materialize anywhere as long as there is hatred. And he has the capability to cause the destruction of EVERYTHING in case he felt like a Sore Loser.

Commander, the Non-Entity General

  • Demi-Greater God/Goddess
  • Symbol: Variable, symbol changes daily to that of (temporarily) aligned faction.
  • Alignment: Variable, alignment changes regularly to that of (temporarily) aligned faction, as a member of GUAE, the Commander is Lawful Evil.
  • Reason for Joining: Receives missions from Melkor by way of Full Motion Video Cutscenes.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: The duration of each mission; nothing more, nothing less. Commander is also commanding opposing forces of Grand United Alliance of Good in addition to Council of Shadows
  • Threat Level to Cosmos: Variable, Low-Extreme. If No Campaign for the Wicked is inverted GUAG have little chance of victory.

Corset, God of Corsets of Pain (Mr. Mayor)

  • Lesser God (Greater God when combined with Hell's Gate)
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Symbol: A white corset with a pair of devil wings sprouting from it
  • Reason for joining: After much thinking, he decided that the GUAE was the best place for him. The GUAC was too chaotic, he didn't like the idea of allying himself with someone who is essentially God, and teaming up with Cosmos is an obvious no-no. He also gets a chance to discipline some of the more chaotic Gods here.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Nothing more than an alliance between them.
  • Threat Level to Cosmos: Depends on how tight his corset is. Shoots up to high when combined with the Gate to Hell.

Teridax, God of Subjugating Beings of Immense Power (Makuta Teridax, Makuta, the Makuta, the Makuta of Metru Nui, Terry)

  • Greater God
  • Symbols: The Kanohi Kraahkan, the Great Mask of Shadows
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Reason for joining: An entire faction of villainous and powerful beings makes for a vast supply of Unwitting Pawns for his schemes...
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Non-existent. Teridax already has plans in motion to usurp the Dark Lord, though that isn't exactly unique amongst the beings of this alliance.
  • Threat Level to Cosmos: Very high. Teridax commands a legion of Rahi (most notably the Manas and Visorak Horde), Rahkshi and Exo-Toa and is a powerful combatant in his own right, possessing immense physical strength and resilience and never-ending stamina alongside Elemental Shadow manipulation and an array of forty-two Kraata Powers. Even with all of that, however, his true strength lies in his ability to manipulate everyone around him, opponents and allies alike, into unknowingly working in accordance with his vast, all-encompassing stratagems - as all of those from his own universe (literally, at one point) know all too well.

Autarch Scolar Visari, God of the New Era Speech

  • Demigod
  • Symbol: The Helghast symbol
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Reason for Joining: Melkor resurrected and ascended him specifically for this purpose, seeing his ability to rally his army and charisma. Colonel Radec specifically wished for this to be so, hence Melkor recruited him to ensure his loyalty as well.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Iffy, but consider it at a High for now. He bases his alliance on potential, and Melkor has shown enough for him to serve in the GUAE faithfully.
  • Threat Level: Very High. Visari is a good poster boy for the GUAE, giving Rousing Speeches rivalling that of Gihren Zabi which inspired independent villain factions to support the GUAE. You'd better believe he's a dangerous threat.
  • As the leader of one of the dominant factions within the Conquest Force with the rank of Field Marshal, Visari commands a lot of respect for his inherent charisma and wide vision, which is how he ran such a large empire. Many independent villain factions joined the GUAE as a show of support for Visari. Why do you think he got promoted to Mastermind status so fast?
  • He isn't an Expy of Hitler as some in the GUAE tend to believe. His policies and military doctrine are more based on Benito Mussolini's fascism.

Francis Joseph "Frank" Underwood, God of Malicious Presidents (Little John, 49th Vice President of the United States, 46th President of the United States, First Gentlemen)

  • Demigod (Has the Authority of a Greater God)
  • Symbol: A Bloodied "V for Victory" Gesture
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil (will undertake Neutral and Chaotic actions if it suits his goals)
  • Reason for Joining: Griffith offered him a position under him in the GUAE soon after he ascended. Frank specifically requested a position in the GUAE Mastermind due to his tenure as president. He knew that to have any other junior-level position would be a great embarrassment on his part. Thankfully, Griffith agreed and the 46th President of the United States now serves as the GUAE's senior political advisor.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Low to Medium. His relationship with his boss is mostly jockeying for his attention as his senior political aide. He isn't pleased with how Melkor focuses too much on war and has close to no pragmatism.
  • Threat Level: Medium to High. He is a political genius who is able to quickly deduce and exploit laws and regulations to his advantage. This is a trait not many members of the GUAE possess (in the context of the real world), so the GUAG is looking out for him.
  • Serves as the Mastermind's senior political aide, especially with regard to Horsemen Johan Liebert and Griffith, setting their political agenda and handling petty politics. While he's not above pettiness, he emphasises that the GUAE cannot lose sight of the big picture: taking over the Pantheon and later the fictional omniverse. The villains for the most part listen to him but advise him that forcing too much change to modernize the Alliance's outlook could be suicidal, so he must tread carefully.
  • Holds the rank of Grand Marshal and commander-in-chief of all corrupt real-world esque U.S. military personnel within the Pantheon, in direct competition with less grounded presidents. He's been trying to use this position to capture cities and settlements to expand the GUAE's commercial territory and diversify their interests. Melkor has been astoundingly narrow-minded on that front.

The Great Leader, Commanding Deity of the Daily Monsters (Great Leader of Shocker, Great Leader of Gel-Shocker, Great Leader of Destron, Great Leader of Black Satan, Great Leader of Delza Army, Great Leader of Neo-Shocker, Generalissimo of Badan, Great Leader JUDO, Susanoo, Rock Great Leader, Skeleton Dinosaur)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: A giant bird atop a globe, or any one of his many forms
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil with Lawful and Chaotic leanings
  • Reason for Joining: His organization's ascension is thanks to the GUAE, so he's willing to provide his legions of inhumanoids to Melkor's services.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Low. He requested a position in the Mastermind so he can keep an eye on Melkor and make sure he upholds his end of the bargain. Melkor likewise watches for any sign of betrayal since his organization is among the biggest in the Pantheon to work unilaterally and even topple the GUAE if need be.
  • Threat Level: Very High. The Great Leader, aside from being the leader of an ever-changing, ever-present kaiju creator organization, can re-incarnate into a new form every time he's killed.

Johann Schmidt, God of Nazism (The Red Skull, Captain America, Supreme One, Rote Schädel, Dell Rusk, Mickey Flynn, Herr Schmidt, Herr Skull, Fool, Stonekeeper, Red Floating Guy)

  • Lesser God (Greater God with the Cosmic Cube, or as the Stonekeeper)
  • Symbol: A Red Skull laid over a Swastika, or alternatively, the red and black HYDRA logo
  • Reason for joining: To have Nazism spread even more even though anyone who had some semblance of evilness can join the GUAE/.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Low. Views Melkor as a boon to have his real plans going... whenever they come.
  • Threat level: Moderate. Mostly from the HYDRA who which he commands and the plots of using an Artifact of Doom or something. His greater accomplishments are rendered moot because of frequent Retcons reversing said accomplishments

Gihren Zabi, God of Colony Drops and Fantastical Nazis

  • Demigod
  • Symbol: The Zeon emblem
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Reason for joining: Melkor managed to bring in loyalists towards the old Zabi family to convince Zabi to join him. That was enough for Gihren to be convinced joining is the right thing for him and his group.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Low. All Gihren cares about is that he is able to remain in power but considering Char is above him...
  • Threat to Cosmos: High. While not a combatant in the slightest, Gihren is a tactical genius as well as a really sly politician.
Zarkon, Dueling God of Good Intentions Corrupted By Power (Former Black Paladin)
  • Greater God
  • Symbol: The numerous Galra Empire symbols
  • Theme Song:
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil, once Lawful Good.
  • Reason for joining: Is self-aware enough to know that playing lone wolf would only harm him and joining the GUAE would boost his power substantially. Also is attemtping to introduce quintessence-powered technology to be used.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: None. While still allies, Zarkon resents Melkor for putting him at the lowest of his high command and wants to usurp him, onlu still remaining here for the said reasons he joining.
  • Threat Level: Very High. An Ace Pilot of the highest degree, Zarkon is not only Nigh-Invulnerability when powered by quintessence, he’s also had had all the experiece of ruling a warmongering empire for thousands of years.
