Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3

means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4 is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5 is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For new and reworked deities, 3
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4 is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
- Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
- Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:
- Preparing to write:
- First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.

- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
- First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
Divine Ranking System
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
Templates
Template for adding a new deity:
God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles:

However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
Template for Treasure profiles:
The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. Ohh yes, I'm excited for this profile. I've played this non-game so I think I can help.
- Characters Who Addressed The User/The Player as their own Person - That would be Niko and The Batter. Even tho they are only address the Player a few times The Chosen Four is worth a mention since the player did help defeat Giygas
- Video Game Medium Awareness and Fourth-Wall Observer
- Flowey has to be aware of game things like savefiles and and such. Sans has inferred that timelines repeat themselves but doesn't have the memories of past timelines like Flowey does. Almost everyone else has a passive awareness of past timeline but not the extend of the first two.
- Deities who are as stubborn as The User - ICEY, The Blue Elephant note
- Considering he is forced to Rap by Mr. Glitch, Game won't like The Music Meister either.
- Game won't like any Glitch Entity like MissingNo. or Those who unintentionally make glitches like Vinny.
- May have awkward relations with Deities who came from Free-2-Play games, and Link and Holmes & Watson

I feel like every time I ask to do a rework or an adoption, I lean that someone on some undetectable hidden desktop file already has my idea. So I just want to ask: is anyone currently re-working The Dark Judges?
I already checked in related sandboxes, but I also know from experience that doesn't guarantee anything.

@RJ- something I wanted to mention on Jack the Ripper. I think you may want to remove the Friendly Rivalry with James Moriarty. Besides how there isn't much reasoning to it, some Sherlock stories that I looked into that have the two in the same story don't seem to put them on the best of terms. For instance in Case File nº221: Kabukicho, Jack killed Moriarty's twin sister, she actually meant to kill him. In Moriarty the Patriot, Moriarty is going against the killer because they sullied his combat instructors good name, also they've been killing innocents lower class citizens, which this Moriarty was strongly against. The Servants that fought Jack in Fate Apocrypha don't seem to have any animosity towards Jack in Fate/Grand Order.

- The Rule of Two was meant to ensure each new Sith Lord would be stronger than the last, which ultimately culminated in the Naboo senator Sheev Palpatine, aka Darth Sidious. Though the strongest Sith in Force powers, his true strength was political intelligence. He set up a crisis on Naboo to ride the sympathy vote to Supreme Chancellor, and a decade later started a proxy war to gain power: the Clone Wars. The Jedi's reputation was stained by the conflict, but the coup de grace was Order 66: after their attempt on his life, he'd order the clones to kill the Jedi and label the remaining Jedi as traitors...except for the newly minted Vader, who'd tie up loose ends like the Separatists. Through all this he completed transitioning the Galactic Republic into the military dictatorship known as the Galactic Empire. All he wanted was power absolute, and it seemed he had it. But Yoda and Kenobi survived to play the Long Game with children of Skywalker he thought had perished, and his new apprentice was severely wounded. And karma would eventually have its due.
- The start of Palpatine's downfall was the Rebel Alliance, which only grew when the Death Star's usage on Alderaan showed how the Empire is rotten to the core. However it would not be his despotism that would kill Palpatine, but what was meant to be his greatest prize: Darth Vader. As Anakin, Palpatine had acted like a father to groom him for apprentice-ship, and clinched it by playing on his fear of losing his beloved Padme and his resentment for the Jedi Council. But as Vader learned Luke was his son, he saw an opportunity. The Emperor saw Luke as Vader's replacement, goaded him into committing Patricide...but Luke refused to give in. Having gone off-script broke Palpatine's cool and he just decided to kill him for insubordination. But as he had underestimated Luke's morality, he forgot about the spark of light in Vader. This spark reignited Anakin Skywalker, who threw the Emperor to his death to save his son. Though Palpatine's last resistance had killed Anakin's body, his soul was saved.
- Not even death was the end for Palpatine however, though the circumstances depend on the continuity. An Immortality Seeker in either timeline, though not one concerned with his empire knowing; either leaving it to fall into civil war or using a Contingency to break it apart for letting him die. Through cloning, he would lie in wait In one timeline, he emerged under a new, dark side magocracy and still hoped to twist Luke to his cause. In another, he would serve as the secret de-facto leader of the First Order through Snoke. The galaxy would surrender or burn by his superlaser-powered Star Destroyers, and he intended to salvage his crippled body by taking Rey's body for herself...she was his grandchildnote after all. However his second conquest would not be nearly as successful, he would left without viable clone bodies, and either a survivor of Order 66 would drag his soul into Chaos or Rey with the guidance of the spirits of Jedi would destroy Palpatine with his own Force Lightning. Either way, after almost/more than a century Palpatine finally was snuffed out once and for all.
- The Emperor joyously shouted "UNLIMITED POWER!" upon his ascension. His cunning, resources and strength in the Dark Side quickly made him a valued member of the Grand United Alliance of Evil, and following Sauron's defection to Darkseid a potential replacement for the fallen Maiar. The Emperor commands the GUAE Conquest Force and has a supporting role in the GUAE Malum Magia, much to Voldemort's chagrin; Sheev is quick to roast Voldemort by saying "I subverted democracy and ruled the galaxy for decades, you couldn't even take over a high school!" That being said, their rivalry isn't one of outright hatred as the two are pretty similar in power and aesthetics.
- Despite supplanting him in Melkor's eyes Sauron actually likes Sidious as a Worthy Opponent. It helps that Palpatine has a more sensible endgame than Melkor. To stop him talking about Sauron Melkor boasted he created the Dark Side, but Palpatine rebutted "only in YOUR galaxy, and I sense it may be somewhere in or beyond the Unknown Regions. Melkor did lead to Palpatine considering the importance of gods of evil, having first looked for the Emperor of the Kingdom Dolorous only to be dissapointed Dis embodies "the trap of the Dark Side". Further search and study of the concept of physical evil led Palpatine to find Aku. Though they argue whether regular tyranny or Anarcho-Tyranny is better, the two enjoyed each other's company. For now, an armistace of convenience has been formed between their empires.
- His plans span decades and he has a galaxy full of enemies, but perhaps none of his opponents has a more personal grudge than the Skywalker lineage. Though Anakin accepts he's at fault for what he did as Vadernote Palpatine was still the devil on his shoulder and the most negative influence in his life. As he founded and embodies the tyranny of the Empire, Leia is second on the list of "those in the Skywalker family who hate Palpatine", what with being a key figure in the Rebel Alliance and his more indirect role in Ben's turn to the dark side. And they're just some of the more obvious examples. On a more general level he is the Arch-Enemy to the Rebel Alliance and by extension the Resistance, who stand for the democractic principles he destroyed. This opposition led to the New Alliance of Free Stars joining the Rebels as the Galactic Empire is almost everything their alliance stands opposed to as well. Other interstellar law enforcement, marines and superheroes that advocate for freedom and oppose tyranny are considered enemies of the Empire by their very nature. On Palpatine's hit list are the Interstellar Alliance Advisory Board, The Federation of Starfleet, the Ultras, Zordon and the Power Rangers.
- Vader once stated "the Emperor is not as forgiving as I am", which says a lot. In Legends his response to the Death Star designer letting a critical flaw lead to its destruction was to torture them to death, revive them and repeat five more times so he gets the message. But none of his ex-subordinates are more angry at Sidious than Maul and Dooku/Tyrannus. The latter was always meant to be a tool to replace Anakin with one day, and the former was abandoned and had his brother killed by Sidious personally. Indeed, Maul may hate his master more than he hates Kenobi, which makes Palpatine laugh. After being betrayed and killed by Anakin on Palpatine's orders, Dooku has formed an Enemy Mine with the Jedi...and the ascended Separatists have severed ties from Sidious due to how Vader "took care of them".
- While he still played the beloved Chancellor role he manipulated Jar Jar Binks into granting him additional powers. While some like to joke Jar Jar was a secret dark side ally (and some even speculate that was in the original script), the truth is Binks is angry at himself for letting Palpatine play him for a fool and Palpatine for betraying everyone's trust. At this point it says something that one of Palpatine's only remaining in-universe allies is Tarkin, who's passion and brutality in the name of serving the Empire is near to Palpatine himself in its evil. That said, with the reveal of Operation Cinder even once loyal Imperials walk on eggshells working with Palpatine.
- Even Palpatine didn't come from nowhere, as he was trained as a Sith under Darth Plagueis. The details are ambiguous in canon, but in Legends Plagueis actually wanted them to stay a team. Of course Palpatine doesn't play second fiddle to anyone so he killed him in his sleepnote . Palpatine is fond of sitting down and asking if people have heard of the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis. Plagueis called this "a bad joke" like other things he's done, only for Sidious to chuckle "no, calling you The Wise was a bad joke".
- Palpatine's second and hopefully final death was delivered by his own granddaughter, and for good reason; among his many crimes he had her parents killed for trying to hide her from him trying to steal her body. The fact she chose being a Skywalker annoys him to no end. Given that Rey's father was only meant to be a clone body for him to jump into but gained a will of his own, absolutely no-one blames her. Having been raised by Sidious, Maul wonders if Dathan was lucky.
- On Palpatine's end, he considers his greatest enemy to be the oldest enemy of the Sith: the Jedi. Having almost destroyed their order, that feeling is mutual. Having come close to besting him in battle (though how close is a matter of debate), Mace is rearing to finish the job. Yoda is another of Palpatine's arch-enemies, being his Light Side equal. However even many Sith before him disavow Palpatine. Though Zannah is amused by Palpatine's sadism and Bane has to admit he achieved the Sith's main goals, Bane is opposed to Palpatine's senseless, often self-defeating cruelty as his strongest virtue is being pragmatic. On his end Palpatine regards Nihilus as a disgrace to the Sith because his only real goal is feeding his Horror Hunger, even if that would kill everything.
- There's one old Sith that does like Palpatine, though: Tenebrae, also known as Vitiate, the Sith Emperor or Emperor Valkorion. This is mainly because they're the closest in personality to one another; both are evil even by Sith standards, seek absolute power and are pretty skilled at doing so. It's often debated which of the two is the true strongest Sith Lord, and as both want supreme power over everything they consider each other major rivals.
- As the archetype military dictator IN SPACE!. As such, he allies with proponents of authoritarianism like Emperor Mateus and M.Bison...though they're all equally self-absorbed so any friendship they have can be tossed aside. Personally Palpatine is more impressed by Big Brother (or more like rather the collective of INGSOC) for ensuring a human boot will step on the face of their subjects forever...and without any superhuman abilities or advanced tech at that! An actual person/fascist he respects is Deathshed, who won his war of oppression and like the Sith Lord mainly operates from the shadows, using state of the art weapons and tech designs. The Red Skull sees Palpatine as a worthy Nazi, which the Emperor isn't surprised by and in turn finds the Skull a skilled operator that the Empire has. By contrast, he regards the Aryan Brotherhood's Nazi flavor as only useful as disposable shock troopers.
- As an iconic tyrant Palpatine also has many enemies who oppose him in a political level, such as Captain America who has seen fascism at his worst, or Josiah Bartlet who stands for and represents democracy as Padme did. Others like Lelouch and Kamina have the same kind of spirit and drive that "rebel scum". Outside of politics Gandalf regards him as a force of evil akin to "Sauron in human form". In Palpatine's defense he merely exploits the humanocentrism of the Empire, and he isn't just inspired by Adolf Hitler; he also takes influence from Napoleon and Augustus as "charismatic conquerors who subvert democracy". Augustus finds Palpatine cold-blooded but won't deny that he's absolutely cunning and politically intelligent...and Palpatine shares that sentiment. Napoleon is disturbed by Palpatine since he sees in him himself minus his ethics and integrity, though won't deny he accomplished much through merit.
- Biologically he's only a father in the sense of "one of his clones had a mind of their own and fled", though he was also a Parental Substitute of Maul and Anakin. It's just that he was an awful father figure. Tellingly Ghetsis applauds his grooming and manipulation skills...admittedly because he wants in on the Imperial Court. The Emperor of Britannia and Emperor of Mankind deem him a worse parent and person than they could ever be, though they're more rivals to the Sith Lord; For Charles, he wishes to master the Force instead to truly create "a world without lies", while Big E regards the Galactic Empire as an opponent to the Imperium of Man. Palpatine responded by saying the Imperium of Mankind is just a theocratic version of his Empire...which might be something the Jedi agree on for once.
- The Emperor is unpopular with the House of Extraterrestrials due to the Empire's humanocentrist views, but Palpatine will ignore that if it benefits him-hence he chose to ally with King Cold and family. While he's a bit jealous they can pull a Death Star with their finger, they've still come to respect the Emperor's efforts in military strategy and sheer intellect. They're also powerful aliens he can reason with. This is why he's privately afraid of the Daleks proving far persistent than he hoped, and they'd only leave a galaxy of the dead. The Combine are also problematic. Interestingly, Palpatine is a lot more confident dealing with the Daleks' creator, Davros, mainly because of his physical situation and seeing in the Kaled a Mad Scientist version of himself. Davros himself would rather subvert the Galactic Empire for his own endnote , but he does respect Palpatine as an opponent and as an Evil Genius.
- The Ur-Quan Kzer-Za are somewhat of a middle ground between "aliens reasonable enough to side with the Galactic Empire" and "aliens who see no difference between the Empire and everything else". They believe other life forms should submit and actually see slavery as a good thing, believing that Palpatine has done some good steps for "readying" the galaxy...for them. Or as Palpatine has said, "they want all my stuff". Despite his similarities to Palpatine Megatron would rather compete with him for galactic dominance because of a dim view on organics and sometimes considering him TOO evil. The Emperor only laughs at his view on organics: he's a Master of All in both Dark Side powers and lightsaber combat in base, and come his resurrection he's practically a nexus and manifestation of The Dark Side. He isn't bluffing when he says he's all the Sith. Still, he wants even more power with is why he's been consorting with Tzeentch and hopes to eventually replace him. Tzeentch knows this, but they enjoy each other's byzantine chessmaster skills. On the forces of Chaos as a whole, Palpatine sees it as "what if the Dark Side had no light side to oppose it?", which given the nature of Chaos is an accurate assessment.
- While they haven't succeeded in the galactic empire business, Babidi and Thaal Sinestro have a plan to. Babidi's desire for power is simpler than even Palpatine's, however Darth Sidious isn't dismissive of another evil and power-lusting mage, especially since he has the power to mind control people based off the darkness in their hearts. As such, he has convinced the alien to serve as a Dark Side adept...mainly to keep him on a tight leash. Sinestro is more concise in his goal: he wants to ensure an ordered cosmos through the power of fear. Palpatine reached out a hand, commending him as having the better halves of Tarkin and Thrawn...only for Sinestro to respectfully decline as neither's ego can abide being subservient to each other. However they do respect each other's capabilities, and its that pride alone that stops Palpatine from getting his hands on a Sinestro Corps Ring...for good reason.
- Palpatine says good is a point of view, though that might be an excuse to act as evil as he likes since he doesn't mind being called evil; he was always evil and may have even killed his own family. Damien Thorn mused that this proves Palpatine is his equivalent in the Force. In turn Palpatine has taken quite the liking to the kid and would rather they be allies than rivals...for the time being. Even Lucas himself has described him as the Devil of Star Wars. He enjoys the Dark Side so much that Iroque and the Phantom Thieves are one of only gods who he's unnerved by. He's the absolute tyrant that both the Indigo Tribe and the Phantom Thieves believe needs a severe Heel–Face Brainwashing, and Sheev considers what they would try to do to himnote a Fate Worse than Death.
- One of the other few beings that makes the Emperor nervous is Godzilla, due to his experience with the Zillo Beast: the creature's rampage and inability to manipulate put him in a rare moment of vulnerability, and he regrets the mistake he made in bringing it to Coruscant. At the same time he admires Godzilla because of its frightening power. He only regretted the Zillo Beast's escape, as he valued its power and wanted to clone the beast. He's interested in doing so to Godzilla, just from a distance. Another being he seeks the power of is the Venom Symbiote. The parasitic Symbiotes turn even a normal person into a One-Man Army at weakest, Civilization Destroyer at strongest; imagine what Palpatine could do with them. Add in how easy they are to augment, that they draw power from hatred and being attuned to the Darkness by nature, and you have a near-perfect source of power for Palpatine to draw from. However, Sidious feels he needs to use Sith Alchemy so his Symbiote would be completely compliant and an extension of himself.
- He is one of the most well-known galactic conquerors, but not the only one. He boasts at being the best because unlike the other ascended conquerors he did not take over the galaxy through being a Person of Mass Destruction or some grand military conquest, but by political manipulation of a democracy into a dictatorship. While not as politically focused, Thanos has proven as brilliant as he is powerful, which is why Palpatine sees him as a true Worthy Opponent. Also, he wants the Infinity Gauntlet as well: even if it cannot be used in a universe it isn't native to; he could certainly have fun with one universe. Darkseid is a rival, though the Lord of Apokolips sees Palpatine as more a smaller scale version of himself. When the Emperor pointed out he disregarded the Infinity Gauntlet for not only being limited to the Marvel universe, Darkseid merely smirked with "why would Darkseid be concerned with one universe?". Palpatine just smiled "good" at that. At some point he was also tipped off of about the Throne...and his jaw dropped realizing he could not only become the defining principle of the Force with it, but become GREATER than the Force.
- Lucrezia Mongfish was surprised that someone as cunning as Palpatine "choked at the finish line" when it came to cloning vesselsnote and his attempt at being a Familial Body Snatcher were a bigger failure. After all, she had more success with a lot less resources. However, she approves of his parenting methods and brilliantly sinister mind. The two made a deal: she'll teach him how to refine the art of body snatching, and he'll teach her the mysteries of the Force. They're both sociopaths but they enjoy scheming together for universal conquest. However Palpatine wants to hedge his bets and has been researching more ways to prolong his life, hence the research into the Hall of Forms of Immortality. Some of these endeavors include:
- Trying to locate the Dragonballs to wish for immortal life. In order to improve their relationship Frieza gave Palpatine some advice: immortality could very well lead to never-ending misery. As such, Palpatine has chosen his wishes carefully; he first wants to be immune to the decay of the Dark Side, then wish to be forever young. Finally, wish only he can use the Dragonballs and wait until they're usable again for both Instant Transmission, ability to ignore pain and THEN the Complete Immortality will be his.
- His rivalry with Voldemort has led Palpatine to try and use the Dark Side to learn just how he can make horcruxes of his own. Unlike Voldemort he's a lot more ascetic and wouldn't make them obvious/meaningful trinkets (well, maybe one of them could be meaningful), and with the use of interstellar travel he would keep them as hidden and far apart as possible...assuming they can still work on interstellar distances, of course.
- There is one trait of Palpatine that's both not evil, and genuine; he is a patron of the arts; Thanos may be a rival, but he appreciates fine art and along with Frieza the Emperor like to debate the meaning of different works of art. The House of Theater and Spectacle is perhaps the one time he acts polite and well-behaved. Palpatine on his end isn't fond of Naboo's grandiose art style, preferring more modest styles and minimalist works. He's also at his nicest as the owner and bartender of the Villain Pub, in which many villains are commonly seen relaxing, complaining about heroes, or discussing various subjects. Again, not enough to be redeeming but it shows he can be genuinely affable once in a blue moon...or more cynically, it's a case of Adaptational Nice Guy in effectnote .
- Despite his hatred of the Prequel Trilogy Mr Plinkett is a big fan of Palpatine since he's one of the few things he liked about it: Palpatine takes such delight in being pure evil he can't help but love that. While this is the general reason for Palpatine's fanbase, the fact this is Mr Plinkett saying this does make the Emperor wonder...One mortal he has taken a liking too is Barney Stinson, due to his Rooting for the Empire tendencies, and rewarded him with a position as a minister of Imperial propaganda. The Galactic Emperor has also taken some Game Theory videos out of context for propaganda. However, in spite of this "friendship" any friend or ally he has is considered disposable so long as they are no longer needed..or become a liability. Palpatine himself has an honorary position in the House of Betrayal and Treachery, as he finds their activity amusing. He has a particular interest for King Arthas as he reminds him of Vader, and he thinks Starscream would be a worthy Sith...just not the apprentice he wants.
- Interestingly despite everything he still sees Vader as his favorite apprentice, if in a "most valuable object" sort of way. Before Mustafar, Sidious boasted to Yoda that Vader would become more powerful than either of them, and this has led him to be interested in Vader-esque deities who wholly dedicated themselves to evil instead of having the lingering regrets he failed to notice in time. He likes Lord Drakkon for playing the long game and wholly dedicating himself to the more metaphorical dark side, though he does criticize him for bratty. Again, the idea of an irredeemable Vader is another reason why Sauron is a friendly rival. He also likes The Batman Who Laughs for being a truly self-abased dark knight and Fallen Hero who wants to subject reality to his deranged desires, though he recognizes him as a bit too crazy for his current tastes. The Darkest Knight is personally fond of Sidious, but believes Palpatine's more frightened of him than anything.
- Yes, his first name is Sheev. Jokes were made over how "unimpressive" it is. Rather than get angry, a scowling Palpatine reminded people that it is likely based off "Shiva" given the general Indian theme-naming found on Naboo. It also sounds like "shiv". He prefers it over his implied Legends name of Cosinga, since it's the name of his father who he hated and was the very first person he murderednote . Besides his political and Sith titles Palpatine will sometimes go by The Senate, despite only saying it once. He doesn't go by Frank though, but when people think it's his first name he does smirk a little.

- Padme Amidala was elected Princess and later Queen of Naboo at a very young age. Her people loved her enough to change the laws to keep her in the position, but she insisted her terms were over and would allow someone else a turn. During her time as queen she was able to defy a Trade Federation takeover and prevent Naboo from being taken over. After her role as queen ended, she later served as Senator for the planet within the Galactic Republic. In a Republic mired with beauacracy and corruption she was a force of democractic principles, and during the Clone Wars fought hard against the military industrial complex. On a more personal level she would serve as the angel on Anakin's shoulder, and secretly his wife. Sadly, Palpatine manipulated his feelings into being more possessive, having him turn against the Jedi in a promise to save her from impending doom. And it was his turn to the dark side which led to Padme's doom; seeing his fall, and lashing out at her, led her to lose the will to live.
- Padme's death, and the belief he was both responsible and killed her while she was pregnant, led Anakin (now Vader) to believe he was irredeemable. But unknown to him and Palpatine, she had lived long enough to carry her children to turn, and despite her broken heart believed there was still good in him. 2 decades later, she was vindicated; when her son Luke learned who Vader was, he proved he inherited his compassion and sought to redeem his father. And Vader became Anakin once more to save Luke from certain death, having learned from his mistake. Beyond her family, she contributed to what would eventually evolve into the Rebel Alliance. Without knowing of their relationship, her daughter Leia would carry on that spirit of democracy and the Skywalker fire.
- If there was any chance for Anakin to return back to Vader in the Trope Pantheon, it died upon him finally reuniting with Padme. Because of their difficult and complicated relationship, Anakin initially couldn't form the words. Eventually he broke down crying, profusely apologizing for what he's done and stated while she doesn't have to look over his past sins he hopes she accepts he has turned over a new leaf. Padme and Luke have both sworn to help Anakin fully atone for his actions and be as much of a family as they can be. Leia is far more conflicted since while Anakin was Vader he was a far more personal and long-standing enemy. However she has nothing but pride for her biological mother as Padme is a pillar of democracy and the Republic's virtues. And she's not alone in those who want to see the family work out their differences.
- When it comes to her extended family, she's deeply upset to see her grandson Ben fall down a similar path to her husband, and worse; kill her son-in-law, but was glad to see that he eventually turned back to his light and gave his life to save the woman he cares about. Ben knows how Padme is conflicted by her, which is why he prefers to keep his distance. Rey, an honorary member of the Skywalker family, was interested in her. Both her and Finn came to respect the Naboo senator for her compassion and personal integrity. In terms of her in-laws, Padme can't help but think Leia inherited her taste in men, though Han grew into a genuine believer in the Rebel cause. Chewbacca and Finn are on good terms with her due to her close ties with Leia; the latter's past as an abducted child saddens Padme given her natural abhorrence to slavery, and sympathy for her husband's past as a slave.
- While Padme is saddened by Jar Jar Binks giving Palpatine emergency powers, she also knows he was just as used by Palpatine as she was. Sure he's somewhat annoying, but he's a long-time political ally and her representative as senator. There's some also bittersweet feelings with Obi-Wan as he was forced to duel and nearly kill Anakin, but that doesn't change the fact the two are very close friends. Out of the Jedi, she's closest with Ahsoka Tano due to her strong bond with her husband, and Qui-Gon for his heroic efforts during the Naboo blockade. While not as much of a friend she still trusts Yoda and his judgement, as he was one of the secret keepers of her twins.
- Initially Nute Gunray was her Arch-Enemy, and while the two still really don't get along, with the Neimoidian ordering a number of assassinations on her, they do have an enemy she hates even more: Palpatine. He posed as a close friend and ally, only to have been the man behind the Trade Federation's actions, the Separatists, the destruction of the democracy she fought for, and the corruption of the man she loves. The Viceroy is only mad about being a loose end Sidious got rid of so this shared enmity isn't nearly enough for an Enemy Mine situation; the Separatists still oppose Padme. And she personally opposes the Galactic Empire as well. However, Count Dooku was more willing to call a truce with the senator due to ultimately working with the Jedi against the greater evil that is his former master.
- Darth Maul was part of the plot to blockade the Trade Federation on Naboo. However he didn't have anything against her, and is mostly indifferent to Padme. However he is still an enemy of the Jedi and his own schemes potentially threaten the democracy she fights to protect, so they're still on poor terms. On another note, Jabba has gone from someone who was at least ambivalent to an enemy because he tried to execute her son and do terrible things to her daughter. She chewed him out as their father saved his son, and when he tried to deflect blame by saying he didn't know she reminded him the name "Skywalker" should've made him think differently. Not that Jabba cares that much.
- Padme is an important political figure within the GUAG. While she is an Action Girl when it calls, her greatest strength is her personal courage and integrity in standing for what she believes in; the resources of the alliance have allowed her to recreate the Delegation of the 2000. She's a natural ally to Josiah Bartlet and Delenn, who's spiritual upbringing already made her interested in the Force. Her main goal in the Trope Pantheon is to create a sort of "Intergalactic Republic"note to expand the reach of diplomacy and opposition to despotism. The central figures of this group are The Alliance of Free Stars and the Interstellar Alliance Advisory Board, who are founded through very principle of diplomacy and working together. Commander Shepard signed up to support Padme in her goals due to his belief in, and impressive skill at diplomatic relationships.
- Outside of her galaxy and extended political circle, Padme Amidala has a number of friends. Her personal virtues got an approval from Steve Rogers, and in the theater of Royalty she has the respect of Princess Sofia. Due to Disney's buyout of the Star Wars franchise, Padme smirks wondering if this makes her an aversion to negative stereotypes of Disney queens. Elsa, a member of Disney royalty, has decided to start up conversations with her as both are interested in each other's setting and their mutual abilities. Much to Hans' chagrin, Elsa warned Padme of him. The former queen of Naboo holds no respect for him because she has dealt with her emotionally troubled husband and entitlement of her ex; far as she's concerned Hans "has all the flaws of Anakin and Rush, without either's redeeming traits". For his part the disgraced prince isn't interested in badgering Padme because even if she was single he wouldn't gain anything trying to marry her, but he's still pissed at her comments at his expense.
- If there's any group she holds in more contempt that the Galactic Empire, it's the Harbingers of Repression; Darkseid in particular chills her to the bone as "Palpatine but a thousand times worse". On principle she opposes tyrants, fascists and their ilk, but she also opposes ruthless corporatism and capitalism like the Glukkons, who are too close in personality to the Trade Federation for her liking. They take some offense for that, but only because they don't want to be compared to Neimodian cowards. Those who feed the military industrial complex and act as war profiteers like Sundowner are also people she detests, having seen Separatist Council members like Wat Tambor act just like him. And of course, she is revolted by Firelord Ozai for being a horrible father and mad imperialist; the fact he sounds like her son creeps her out.
- Anna Henrietta and Prince Zuko are members of royalty that serve as political allies and friends of Padme; she can't help but be reminded of Anakin from Zuko, and believes he's what he'd have become if he never fell to the dark side. Anna is impressed by Padme's wardrobe, and more so impressed by her actions as queen and senator. However she still doesn't respect her husband for how he let himself be manipulated by Palpatine. Padme's defense? "Who's strings wasn't he pulling?!"
- The idea of an Elective Monarchy is considered novel to the inhabitants of Westeros, though they are more than aware of the Realpolitik and political quagmires that Padme Amidala has to deal with. The former queen of Naboo isn't happy to learn that one of the major factions to employ said royalty is the Iron Islands...aka one big Viking stereotype. And Euron Greyjoy having won the kingsmoot was not a good look; she thinks someone as deranged as him should never have seen life outside a prison cell. The notorious queen is baffled and angry that she could be such an important politician despite being a woman and resents her. Padme sees her as a jaded, bitter and envious person who's proven her gender doesn't play into her actual ineptitude as a politician. However, she's not surprised how she could become so bitter in the first place.
- Despite the initial bad impression she got from Westeros, she was pleasantly surprised that for every bad king like Maegor the Cruel, there's been at least two good kings like Aegon the Conqueror and Daemon II. However it's not a king of Westeros she's become most fond of, but a lord...Eddard Stark. While she thinks his sense of humor needs to improve, she applauds him for his morality, honor-bound code and refusal to give in to vices...she just wishes he handled Cersei in a smarter manner. His son Jon Snow has also gotten her respect for inheriting his dad's virtues. In an interesting coincidence, both Jon and Padme's kids had their true parentage in the dark to protect them.
- Thor can't help but be reminded of Jane Foster when he looks at Padme. Padme thinks he's cool and likes that someone is using lightning for good, and the two like to swap stories, but that's mostly it. John F Kennedy was a lot more sociable with her, not just because she reminds him of his wife but because he respects her as a great senator; Jack himself served as a senator and wrote a book on great senators in U.S history. He also flirted a bit with her but when Anakin ignited a lightsaber he got the message and stopped. Also while he's a philanderer, he respect Padme enough to only be playful; he's actually sympathetic to the troubles Anakin and Padme had with a secret relationship.
- Another reason the Red Skull hates her is because he sees her as Jewish because her actor Natalie Portman is Israeli-American. Padme just rolls her eyes at his comment because practically no-one respects his opinion. As if to provoke her he's pointed out her Fantastic Racism towards Neimodians, only to respond that yes: because of the Trade Federation she has a negative opinion on them. But she knows she shouldn't and won't let that cloud her judgement.
- Due to how her husband fell out of fear for her death, the former queen of Naboo thinks it's best to mind her own business visiting the Halls of Forms of Immortality and Life Manipulators, especially the latter as that's where Darth Plagueis is set. The latter has joked she just wants to avoid a potential in-law. Unlike Anakin she's not paranoid about the House of Prophecy or Time and Temporality. Within the former she's become interested in Neo and the Three Heroes due to their chosen one status, but only respects the former and would rather ignore the latter.
- The time she and Anakin have had in the Trope Pantheon has made her think of other love stories that ended poorly, mainly Romeo and Juliet. Like the two their love was taboo, and even more dangerous that a Jedi and senator getting together; naturally they pity the tragedy of the two. Padme has also been thinking of deities who remind her of her husband, like King Arthas; she feels sympathy towards his tragic fall, but like with Vader on Mustafar she refuses to support the path he went down. Both her and Anakin feel a lot of pity for the Masked Man due to his forcible conversion into an antagonistic cyborg against his will. But then, there's the Batman Who Laughs, who is what Vader may have been like had he not only never redeemed himself, but wholeheartedly embraced his inner darkness in a way that'd make Sidious blush. Naturally, the two are disgusted and disturbed by the Darkest Knight.
- As Vader, Anakin tried to resurrect her twice. The first time involved a dark side locus, however the apparition of Padme destroyed herself in what may have been the dark side giving him a form of closure. Later on he tried to use the Bright Star, but his plan was thwarted. Now she's back she's made it clear she doesn't want to be saved at the expense of others. She once had coffee with Barry and he mentioned he knows what that's like, having unwittingly caused the Flashpoint to stop his mother's death and having to let her go to save the timeline. Homura Akemi intimidates her because of the lengths she went to to save the girl she loved reshaped the very structure of the cosmos.
- She doesn't like people who make light of her Death by Despair by saying "she died of sadness" or make fun of how she was fine with Anakin's weird sand speech. Palpatine loves to bring this up, especially since Anakin fully rejected him. He'll at least concede she had a good line to his New Era Speech.

- The Alternates are entities from the biblical times, the destroyers of God's message. Satan took upon the form of Gabriel, attempted to manipulate Noah then killed him once he did not submit. And from that day on, the Alternates and "Gabriel"(the new name Satan had took up as a mockery of the original) have manipulated, killed and strayed humans away from God using their shape shifting.

@RJ — I've got nothing for Palpatine and Padme, so here's a for both of them.
I've decided to relinquish my rework draft for Onslaught and give it to AzureLegacy. This is because I simply lost interest in doing him and we did privately talk about me giving him the profile, which he accepted.
That said, because I don't recall him being suggested, Onslaught would have to be formally suggested in the forums before Azure could properly work on him.

@RJ- I mentioned this before with Palpatine, but we’ve stopped using Actors, Live Action or Voice, as a source for interactions. Also I’ve mentioned this with before about Padme, but some of her allies and enemies are small scale. There are a number of Pantheon characters that can relate to her both the scale and genre like John Carter (Warlord of Mars), Koriand'r/Starfire (Alien Princess), T'Challa/Black Panther (Emperor of a Galactic Empire), Eddie Brock/Venom (King/God of the Symbiotes), Mark Grayson/Invincible (King of an Alien Race), Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man (The father Mark and King before him), Vegeta (The Prince of all Saiyans) just to name a few. As for enemies, there are the Galactic/Universal wide villain threats like Thanos, Ultron , Nathaniel Richards/Kang the Conqueror, effectively any Dragon Ball villain, The Galactic Federation, The San'Shyuum Hierarchs, The Flood, Atriox, The Forces of Chaos. - Sarah Collins was initially a normal housewife with a husband named Stephen and their two children, Ben and Lucy. That is until Stephen was knifed to death during a drug deal gone wrong, with Ben becoming an Elective Mute from seeing his father being killed. Subsequently, Sarah becomes despondent and struggles to adjust to life, with Stephen's death not being properly investigated only making things worse as Sarah tries to urge the police into putting effort to no avail. One day, a drug dealer named Tito unexpectedly runs into Sarah and her children after stealing a package of drugs from a crime boss named Leo Miller and coaxes her into stashing the drugs in exchange for money. Frightened and initially wanting nothing to do with Leo, Sarah figures that she could use him to gain information and what happened regarding the circumstances of Leo's death. However, Ben accidentally finds and consumes some of the drugs, angering Tito who decides to take it out by attempting to rape Sarah, who kills him in response and tries to hack his body to destroy evidence. However, Leo manages to figure out Tito's role in stealing his money and Sarah's involvement, and in return, Sarah finds out that Leo was the one who killed her husband. Agreeing to bring Tito along for a negotiation, Sarah visits Leo and his gang at a nightclub, bargaining that Leo leave her and her family alone. When Leo rejects the offer and orders Sarah and her children dead, she retaliates by showing them Tito's severed head before killing him and his gang. Throughout all of this, Sarah is not suspected by the police, thinking that she was a grieving widow who is still recovering from her husband's loss and writing off Tito and Leo's deaths as gang-related violence. This allows her to be able to gradually recover from her past ordeal as well as make the most of her time with her mother and her children. Her son is also beginning to recover from his traumatized self.
- With her turbulence solved, Sarah was content in moving on from her husband's death, now that she avenged his murder, and dedicated herself to looking after her children as best as she could. Although she wanted simplicity from that point on, things didn't turn out as such, when her story was recognized by the Pantheon. Sarah was initially unaware of her reputation, but she realized that her surroundings and the people around were discreetly becoming different until she wound up seeing what she thought was a flying man and an alien walking across the street. She had a bit of a freak out before composing herself and trying to learn about what was going on, eventually realizing that she was in the Pantheon. Despite her ascension being based on her actions going off unnoticed by the police, not a lot of people actually know her tale, which was something Sarah was content on hearing about. Her kids are her top priority after all, but she's since become perplexed about how she's going to cope in a new world that's vastly different in comparison to where she came from.

As for drug dealers, Diavolo runs a powerful mafia called Passione and is responsible for running its drug trade. Giorno Giovanna and Bruno Bucciarati aim to stop him and the drug trade so harmful drugs don't end up in the hands of innocents, especially children.

Was hoping to get more done with this profile before sharing, but work is about to start soon and I feel the need for some feedback to help with developing this further. So, here's the first draft for my rework of Klonoa!
For quick reference, any entries with double brackets (()) are those from the original profile that are completely unchanged. In the case of the interactions, I'm simply unsure of how to adjust them due to lack of familiarity with the characters involved, honestly contemplating on just deleting them outright. And big question about Klonoa's Heroes incarnation; would he be combined with Klonoa in the Pantheon, forming a composite of the two? - Once believing himself to be a native inhabitant of Phantomile, specifically a denizen of Breezegale, Klonoa is in truth the "Dream Traveler"; a hero who is destined to travel to different dream worlds and save them from destruction, with Phantomile being just one such trip. Which Klonoa has no problem with, being a naturally kind-hearted kid who never refuses anyone in need. However, the big catch with being the Dream Traveler is that Klonoa cannot stay in a dream world after it had been saved, needing to leave for his home dimension or be forced out of the dream if he stays too long, as had happened with Phantomile. Which sucks to say the least for Klonoa as he's quick to form close friendships with the inhabitants of those dream worlds, and he (sometimes) depends on some of these inhabitants to power his weapon, the Wind Ring, so he has to make friends with those in the dream worlds to accomplish his task. Though as sad as it is to say goodbye to friends, with minimal chance of seeing them again, Klonoa maintains an upbeat attitude and continues to selflessly do his duty of restoring balance to dreams.
- In an alternate version of his universe, dubbed the "Heroes universe", Klonoa is a normal boy of Breezegale who dreamt of obtaining a "Hero Medal", a mystical and highly coveted item of his world. Said world being a singular planet that unifies the dream worlds of Klonoa's "Prime universe", with the locations and inhabitants of Phantomile coexisting alongside those of Lunatea and more. After a chance encounter with the bounty hunter, Guntz, Klonoa of the Heroes universe would achieve his dream of getting his own Hero Medal and would then save the world from an eternal nightmare alongside Guntz and a bomb expert pangolin named Pango. The Heroes version of Klonoa has a much less troubled and lonely life compared to the Prime version but was much less heroic until some serious reflecting.
- Klonoa first entered the Pantheon the same way he entered all other dream worlds, having been sent there as the Dream Traveler to protect it from destruction. After accomplishing what he had been sent to do, however, Klonoa found that he was not forced out after sticking around for a long time. At first, Klonoa was confused but then realized he finally had a waking world to stay in and less eternal goodbyes to make. People would need his help again and again, people could follow him now that he was a god, and people could keep crossing paths with him in his duties. At last, Klonoa had found a proper home. His ascension was finalized when he was given the trope Bittersweet Ending due to the endings of his main adventures being among the most heartwarming yet tearjerking of their kind.
- During his ascension process, Klonoa found the King of Sorrow at the Court of the Gods, which was a big surprise for the Dream Traveler as he last saw King of Sorrow dying in his arms back in Lunatea yet here he was alive and well in the Pantheon. King explained that he had manifested within the House of Despondency shortly after the aforementioned death in Lunatea and was taken to the Court of the Gods to determine his fate in the Pantheon. Because Klonoa and King of Sorrow were familiar with each other, it was decided by the Court that King of Sorrow would act as the Herald for the newly ascended Klonoa, which the two boys heartily agreed to. Even though King started off as an enemy to Klonoa, having attempted to consume Lunatea with sorrow and attacking Klonoa to atone for that world's sins, Klonoa knew that King of Sorrow was acting from trauma-induced insanity and was more than willing to accept the Hyuponian as a friend after all that had been sorted.
- Over time, though, Klonoa began to miss his friends from his past adventures: Huepow, Lolo, Popka, and Guntz, and desired to be with them again. When the option to make them all heralds was offered, Klonoa immediately took that opportunity to bring those four into the Pantheon. Many Tears of Joy were shed as Klonoa, Huepow, Lolo, and Popka embraced each other in reunion, while Guntz just gave the Dream Traveler a friendly pat on the shoulders. And Klonoa convinced the Court of the Gods to ascend King as a deity so he wouldn't feel like a left-out fifth wheel herald but rather a fellow deity ally, with the Hyuponian also able to make his own friends in the form of other deities and his own heralds.
- However, with regards to Huepow, there's a serious Elephant in the Living Room between him and Klonoa over Huepow giving Klonoa Fake Memories of having always lived in Phantomile, as opposed to being an outsider to the dream world who was sent to save it. Klonoa and Huepow both know they have to talk about it but for the time being want to enjoy each other's company again after being apart for so long. Klonoa at least has no hard feelings about it as he knows how regretful and apologetic Huepow is about that whole thing. Though that doesn't stop many deities, including King of Sorrow, as well as Lolo, Popka, and Guntz from criticizing Huepow for doing that to Klonoa, pointing out how unnecessary it was and how it ultimately made Klonoa's departure from Phantomile ten times more heartbreaking than it could've been.

Overall, he's surprisingly upbeat about his past and his fate, and can often be found talking with other deities in the House of Despondency in attempts to cheer them up.))
- As the Dream Traveler, Klonoa is naturally drawn to the House of Dreams and Nightmares and spends most of his time there; which got to the point that he's considered an unofficial member of the house. And since Klonoa's role as the Dream Traveler is to save imperiled dreams from destruction, he quickly gained the favor of Ysera and other "dream guardians": NiGHTS, Princess Luna, and Haruto. Klonoa loves to hang out with each of them and share experiences with protecting dreams. And while the worst aspect of being the Dream Traveler is circumvented by being in the Pantheon, Ysera, Princess Luna, and Haruto are looking for ways to remove the "forced departure" of the Dream Traveler role, allowing Klonoa to remain in dream worlds as much as he likes, if not travel to them voluntarily as opposed to the current involuntary way. Klonoa is nothing short of thankful to the three for their efforts.
- Of the "dream guardians", Klonoa gets along best with NiGHTS since he's the most devoted to protecting dream worlds, just like himself, yet NiGHTS has such a fun and flighty personality (moments of rudeness notwithstanding). Klonoa also admires NiGHTS for being a Nightmaren, directly created by Wizeman the Wicked to expand Nightmare, but decided to rebel against his master and be the savior of Nightopia instead, which made Klonoa start to consider that not all nightmares or nightmare creatures are bad. The Dream Traveler couldn't help but remark that, with that origin in mind, NiGHTS is almost a good version of Joka, both being clown-based nightmare creatures but NiGHTS had the good sense to rebel and protect dreams, while Joka remained devoted to his nightmare master and helped him to bring about the permanent end to a dream world. Klonoa is also intrigued by NiGHTS' ability to dualize dreaming people, which the Dream Traveler compared to his Wind Ring and its dependence on others to fuel it. NiGHTS, in turn, is fascinated by Klonoa's Wind Ring and praises Klonoa for his heart and determination to help dream worlds and those within despite never getting to see those worlds and their people again. To allow the Dream Traveler a dream world he can visit time and time again, NiGHTS invited Klonoa to Nightopia where the two can have fun.
- Soon after getting acquainted with the good dream deities, Klonoa would have an encounter with Dream of the Endless, who revealed himself to be the one who had summoned the Dream Traveler to the Pantheon in the first place and allowed for him to be ascended. As the personification of dreams, the Sandman had an awareness of the many dream worlds in Klonoa's universe and took notice of the traveling protector of those dreams. Grateful for Klonoa's accomplishments and efforts in saving dreams from destruction, Morpheus decided to summon the Dream Traveler to the Pantheon during a particularly disastrous event in the Dreamscape and then contributed to Klonoa's ascension as a reward afterward. Klonoa was nothing short of flattered upon learning of this and immediately befriended Dream, even if he found the Sandman to be intimidating.
- Klonoa could not help but ask Dream if he was also the one who made him the Dream Traveler in the first place, but Morpheus answered that he did not and does not know who or what made Klonoa the Dream Traveler; Dream even ponders that being the Dream Traveler is an inherent aspect of Klonoa, just as being the personification of dreams is to himself. Nonetheless, the Sandman took pity on Klonoa for the forced goodbyes his role enforces, relating a bit with being isolated due to one's function, and told the Dream Traveler to just focus on the work and cherish the memories of his friends, which the cabbit took to heart.
- Of course, it didn't take long for Klonoa to meet the "nightmare" members of the house and the Dream Traveler toom an instant dislike for them. With the exception of the Perfect Trumpet Thingy, who is harmless all things considered, the likes of Vaermina, Nightmare, Wizeman, and Freddy Krueger make Ghadius look tame (which is saying a lot) and Klonoa is quick to join the rest of the dream protecting deities should those fiends start spreading nightmares. Nightmare in particular had become a pseudo-Arch-Enemy for Klonoa as he's not only the most like Ghadius in nature and personality but the Emporer of Darkness took on Ghadius as a High Priest and ascended Joka into the Pantheon, which the Cabbit cannot forgive. As for the Perfect Trumpet Thingy, Klonoa still doesn't think highly of the thing and its tendency to spook people in their sleep for not being "perfect", always making an effort to tell the trumpet off whenever it does.
- Klonoa and Guntz (specifically their Heroes incarnations) were one of the heroes Reiji and Xiamou encountered during their first recorded adventure, and naturally the two were pleased to see the young hero and bounty hunter again. It took Klonoa and Guntz a while to recognize Reiji and Xiamou, having not seen them in so long, but once they did Klonoa excitedly greeted the Shinra agents while Guntz simply shook their hands. Soon after, Klonoa and Guntz got reacquainted with the other heroes they encountered in that adventure with Reiji and Xiamou; Klonoa rekindling his friendship with Felicia in particular, who was overjoyed to see her fluffy, long-eared friend again. Morrigan was also pleased to see Klonoa again, finding him too cute to resist. Guntz, however, remembered how obsessed all the girl heroes were with hugging the two of them and quickly fled from the gathering, swearing like crazy as the girls gave chase to hug him. Klonoa, however, was content with the hugging (provided he could still breathe).
- Klonoa met with Kirby one day while browsing the House of Food for a burger stand and the two adorable dream heroes became immediate friends. As they ate their favored foods, Klonoa and Kirby conversed on their past adventures, and the two were astonished by how much their respective worlds have in common with each other; the resemblance between basic Moos and the Waddle Dees being just the tip of the iceberg. The two also noticed how similar their default methods of attacking are, requiring them to "grab" and then "toss" enemies. Though Kirby is able to do way more with his ability to absorb the power of any enemy he swallows, which Klonoa found cool but also really creepy. Though Huepow, Lolo, and Popka were quick to tell Klonoa that he shouldn't be one to judge with the amount of Moos he tossed to their deaths.
- Klonoa was soon introduced to Bandana Waddle Dee by Kirby and was immediately reminded of "Heart Moo", who a version of himself played volleyball with in one universe. The supposed "King of all Moos", Heart Moo is a standard Moo who wears a green bandana with a yellow heart symbol to distinguish himself from the rest of the Moos, just like Bandana Dee, and is also the friendliest of the Moos; rejecting the prize money and trophy in favor of keeping the volleyball as a friend should he win the tournament. The bandana'd Waddle Dee was amused by this revelation and hopes to meet Heart Moo one of these days, and took up an interest in volleyball in the meantime. Klonoa can often be seen playing some volleyball with Bandana Dee.

- Pac-Man recognized Klonoa as another character from his flagship company and was pleased to hear of his ascension, especially being aware that the Dream Traveler is one of the more overlooked members of the company. Klonoa in turn recognized Pac-Man as the character on his hat, which amused Pac-man to no end, and got along with the Yellow Fella. The two can often be seen eating together in the House of Food, Klonoa partaking in a hamburger (without tomatoes) while Pac-Man helps himself to... Everything he feels like eating.
- Klonoa became acquainted with Sonic the Hedgehog after being mistaken to be from the hedgehog's universe by numerous deities. On meeting Sonic and his friends, Klonoa could see the resemblance between them and himself, especially in his appearance from Lunatea and onward, and decided to befriend the hedgehog and his allies. Sonic himself took a quick liking to Klonoa, being a fellow young hero of the wind who selflessly saves worlds from destruction (and also can't swim to save his life), and tries to comfort the Dream Traveler over his forced departure of those worlds.
- Of Sonic's friends, Klonoa gets along best with Miles "Tails" Prower since they are both heroic boys who've suffered trauma (Tails having been the victim of bullying before meeting Sonic) but maintain a cheerful attitude. Certainly helps that Tails has the closest resemblance to Klonoa among Sonic's friends, the two loving to joke that they are long-lost relatives. Klonoa is also fascinated by Tails' namesakes, and doubly so that the fox is able to fly by twirling them super fast, while Tails is curious about Klonoa's Wind Ring.
- Klonoa also loves hanging out with Cream the Rabbit, who has the heart of a hero and adventurer despite her pacifism and he likes to accompany her on her many wanderings through the Pantheon. Klonoa and Cream also bond on their ability to float in the air with their ears, though the cabbit is a tad envious that Cream is able to float for much longer and for much greater height and distance than he himself. Lolo also enjoys hanging out with Cream due to having mannerisms similar to herself, while Huepow is shocked by how similar-looking Cheese is to himself.
- After meeting Sonic and his friends, it was only a matter of time Klonoa would meet their enemies. And to the Dream Traveler's great displeasure, he would be encountered by Dr. Eggman, who reminds Klonoa a lot of Garlen; a recurring enemy of his who is also a round, comical Mad Scientist specializing in robotics and constantly makes schemes for world domination. Though Eggman is a much bigger threat than Garlen could hope to be and his long list of crimes alone disgusts Klonoa to no end. The doctor himself considers Klonoa to be a potential annoyance
- Klonoa and Guntz would also soon come across Nack the Weasel, also known under the name of Fang the Sniper, and Klonoa was absolutely baffled at the similarities Nack and Guntz shared: both being canid* hunters famed for wielding guns and even own distinct hoverbikes that they named; "Red Clan" and "Marvelous Queen" respectively. Naturally, Guntz and Nack developed an incredible hatred for one another, calling each other ripoffs, and immediately got into a gun duel, forcing Klonoa and other nearby deities to take cover as the two shot at each other. Of course, since Guntz's guns actually fire bullets whilst Nack was shooting corks, the fanged sniper had to resort to dirty tactics to keep up with the Golden Killer, but Guntz proved the superior of the two in the end. Nack swore vengeance and fled on his Marvelous Queen while Guntz smiled with satisfaction at besting his copycat. Though that joy was short-lived as the Pantheon's law enforcement showed up right after and sentenced Guntz to fix and clean the area he and Nack shot up, with Klonoa being to serve that sentence as well since Guntz is his herald and thus his responsibility. That experience didn't endear Nack to Klonoa, and on learning more about the treasure hunter came to regard him as a rival: viewing him as Guntz without any honor or redeeming qualities.
- Deities have also noted similarities between Guntz and Shadow the Hedgehog, both being the dark-furred, edgy and mean foils to blue-clad and friendly heroes. And on meeting Shadow, Klonoa and Guntz could see what those deities meant. Fortunately, there are enough differences between the two that Guntz and Shadow don't view each other as fakers and have become allies due to their shared sense of solitude and justice. Though Shadow really wishes Guntz would speak with a cleaner mouth, as the swearing combined with his firearms and hoverbike reminds Shadow too much of how he behaved in his own game. Klonoa himself is on good terms with Shadow, recognizing him as a fellow hero, even if he feels Shadow could lighten up and be more friendly.
- Klonoa would also soon meet the Babylon Rogues, rivals to Sonic's own team, who heard about Klonoa owning a hoverboard and challenged him to a race. The Dream Traveler put up a valiant effort to beat the trio of birds and did manage to get ahead of Storm and Wave in the final stretch, but Jet was just too fast for Klonoa to beat. Being a good sport, of course, Klonoa complimented Jet for his skill and vowed to improve his boarding to win next time, which the hawk stated he'll be looking forward to. Since then, Klonoa has been practicing his hoverboard skills and meeting with Tails for some upgrades to increase its speed.
- Of Sonic's friends, Klonoa gets along best with Miles "Tails" Prower since they are both heroic boys who've suffered trauma (Tails having been the victim of bullying before meeting Sonic) but maintain a cheerful attitude. - Klonoa became befriended by Sora when the Keybearer heard about another hero who travel to many worlds and saves them from destruction. Both being one of the most loving and friendly heroes who are also young yet really tough boys, and wield iconic weapons that are among the most unusual (a ring and a key), Klonoa and Sora naturally get along great and consider each other kindred spirits to an extent. Sora was also amazed at how Klonoa is able to enter people's dreams, at least until the Dream Traveler told him about how he has no choice in where he goes or how long he can stay. Sora immediately felt sorry for Klonoa, knowing how much he'd be bummed out if he was unable to freely travel worlds and revisit old friends, and even though the Dream Traveler assured Sora that the Pantheon allows him to be with his closest friends again, the Keybearer comforted Klonoa by telling him that so long he keeps the memories of his friends in his heart, they'll always be with him.
- Klonoa also became good friends with Avatar Aang, being yet another All-Loving Hero who is a young boy attuned with the wind and was born with the divine task of maintaining his world's balance. Aang could relate all too well with Klonoa on the burden of being a "chosen hero", as the revelation of being the Avatar caused Aang to be left out of games from the other airbending kids and then nearly separated from his beloved mentor, among so many other things. Though the airbender admitted that that's nothing compared to the burden of being the Dream Traveler, not wanting to even imagine having to leave behind his friends for an indeterminate amount of time. Of course, Klonoa thinks that the burdens of their respective roles are equal and is simply happy that Aang is in a good position now. Aang appreciated Klonoa's thoughts and praised the Dream Traveler for his heart and strength, and then offered to assist Klonoa in any situation. In the meantime, Klonoa and Aang like to get together to practice their wind abilities.

I regard that as being representative of everyone in the group (including Gabriel and Stanley, and I'm certain the former's presence is why the group is overall Overdeity tier), not just the generic Alternatives, which I'm pretty sure are not Overdeity tier. If "a lone Alternate" describes the rank of a generic Alternate, then I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Well, since it seems nobody else is reworking them, I'd like to propose a rework:
- Judge Death, Judge Fear, Judge Fire and Judge Mortis, Gods of Punishing All Crime With Death
- REASON: They're currently in the Hall of Tainted Law and are pretty good representations of their trope. However, their profile is extremely short. Only 11(.5) points of flavour text (with only 1 or 2 sentences on most of said points), only 8 characters in their Relations section (despite being listed tons of times elsewhere), and just generally a bare-bones profile.
