Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Their Teen Titans selvesnote
  • Potential Hall: Villainous Roles
  • Intermediate God-level organization with Overdeity-level firepower.
  • Symbol: The Brain himself
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Portfolio: Brotherhood of Evil, Played Seriously Despite Some Silly Concepts, Legion of Doom, Card-Carrying Villain, Obviously Evil
  • Domains: Villains, Organizations
  • Heralds: Most Teen Titans Villains, especially Professor Chang
  • Allies: Shocker, HYDRA, Queen Beryl, The Death Busters, The Dead Moon Circus, Ragyo Kiryuin, The Martians (Mars Attacks!), Dr. Gero, Giovanni, Ghetsis Harmonia, Dr. Eggman, Dr. Wily, Bowser, Dimentio, Ganondorf, Xemnas, Dr. Nefarious, Yuuki Terumi, HIM, Mojo Jojo, Joker, The Incubators, Tabuu, Andross, Aku, Melkor, The Shredder, Queen Chrysalis, Moro, The GUAE
  • Friendly Rival: Lord Voldemort, The Beast (General Immortus)
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Princess Morbucks
  • Enemies: All Heroic DC Comics Deities, especially Garfield Logan and the ascended Teen Titans, Gorilla Grodd, Eobard Thawne, The GUAG, All Heroic Marvel Comics Deities, Most of the GUAD, especially Nekron and Death Phantom, The Phantom Thieves of Hearts, The Daleks, Adora and Catra
  • On speaking terms with: The House of Love (The Brain and Monsieur Mallah)
  • The Brotherhood of Evil was founded by the Brain after he had his body destroyed by an explosion arranged by Niles Caulder, though he was rescued by Monsieur Mallah. It is an organization with two purposes. Take Over the World and destroy Caulder and the Doom Patrol as well as anyone else that would dare oppose them.
  • Ascended to the Pantheon when the Brain, who happened to be one of Dr. Gero’s followers, decided that he was no longer content with his position and launched a carefully planned attack with Monsieur Mallah, other members of the Brotherhood of Evil and some Mecha-Mooks. It was eventually stopped, but they were all ascended under Brotherhood of Evil afterwards by Melkor, much to the displeasure of many...which also happened to be exactly what they were counting on.
  • As Madame Rouge’s main incarnation turned against the Brotherhood of Evil, it has been decided that the version of her from the Teen Titans universe would be included instead. The rest of the Brotherhood of Evil have been watching her carefully to make sure that she doesn’t get replaced by her comic incarnation. On the other hand, there are many villains from the Teen Titans universe that are serving as their heralds, though the one most commonly seen working with the Brotherhood of Evil on some of their plans is Professor Chang.
  • They absolutely d e t e s t those who would manipulate others into betraying their allies due to what Captain Zahl did to Madame Rouge. None have earned their scorn more than the Death Phantom, who immediately went to work trying to manipulate them into turning against each other and helping him kill everyone, his Mind Manipulation abilities allowing these attempts to sometimes temporarily succeed. It has gotten to the point where he and the rest of the Brotherhood are willing to pull an Enemy Mine with the Sailor Senshi against him, especially after learning of his goals.
  • Davros was amused to learn that the Brain's casing was somewhat designed off of that of the Daleks in one universe. The Daleks, while interested in potentially exploiting him for his intelligence, have made it clear that they want to kill him too...which isn't surprising, really. The Doctor has been keeping an eye on the Brain because of this.
  • Became allies with Shocker and HYDRA due to the three all being evil organizations with world conquest in mind. The Brain sees this as a great opportunity to destroy heroes to a greater extent than ever before, while the Great Leader and Red Skull don’t mind the company, if only because he is great at planning. As it started off as a regular crime syndicate before becoming a full-blown villainous organization, they are also associating themselves with Giovanni. The Brain finds Ghetsis’ plans of manipulating the Unova Region to ensure nobody could challenge his plans to conquer brilliant and believes him to be much more intelligent than the other villains from his world.
  • The Brain and Monsieur Mallah, surprisingly enough, have a relationship with each other and because of this they are sometimes seen in the House of Love. One day, they met one of Queen Beryl’s heralds, Jadeite, who announced to the two that she wished to meet them. They agreed to meet with her and Jadeite smirked, knowing that his queen would be pleased. The Brain and Monsieur Mallah, upon learning that Queen Beryl desires a relationship with Mamoru Chiba, have decided to help her.
  • The Brain has remained on good terms with Dr. Gero even after the ascension of the Brotherhood of Evil and is currently getting help from him on making potential countermeasures against Son Goku, who he sees a very great threat to his plans. He would’ve been allies with Frieza, but his Fantastic Racism lead him to attack Mallah, something that the Brain didn’t like at all.
  • The Brain eventually declared that the Brotherhood of Evil would be allying themselves with Melkor and the GUAE. Madame Rouge has become a headache for the other alliances to deal with as her ability to shapeshift into others and mimic their voices makes it hard to tell if its her or not. Unlike other shapeshifters like Queen Chrysalis, she is actually more than capable of pretending to be the person she transforms into. Given Chrysalis was already quite good at imitating Cadance...
  • Are utterly repulsed by Eobard Thawne as he proves to be an utterly shitty boss and leader and ultimately doesn’t give two shits about his minions, even going as far as to plant bombs on them. They have started speaking with Captain Cold about this and despite him disapproving of some of the Brotherhood’s plans, he is glad to have people outside of his Rogues to speak to about this issue.
  • The Brain and Monsieur Mallah are pretty pissed at Gorilla Grodd due to that one time he killed them. The Brain has been mobilizing his forces to capture him and possibly make hypnosis devices using Grodd’s powers as a potential template.
  • Despite Voldemort’s beliefs that he is the only one who should be immortal, he and General Immortus are on rather good terms though they aren’t allies. However, they do have connections to each other through the GUAE and Immortus likes making small talk with him. He’s also rather friendly with The Beast of The Unknown, but they ended up becoming rivals rather than allies.
  • Madame Rouge ended up becoming foes with Adora and Catra as the two girls had once encountered a shapeshifting spy called Double Trouble who tormented them on multiple occasions. However, Rouge is extremely skilled in defeating heroes and they know to go all out from the beginning whenever they fight against her. She is also greatly disliked by Monkey D. Luffy, who is rather unhappy that she uses her Rubber Woman powers for evil.
  • Monsieur Mallah dislikes Koba as he finds his acts of evil to be completely abominable by his standards and is opposed to his dislike of humans as that is exactly what the Brain was before his body was destroyed. Monsieur Mallah is greatly disliked by Silica as her mother was killed by an ape-like beast, though he is nothing but friendly towards her.

I’m plotting my schemes wherever I go! They’re perfect in every way…

You don't have to add it, but Magneto used to have his mutant force named the Brotherhood of Evil. It was a relic of his pre-Chris Claremont days back when he was your standard supervillain and he'd probably be embarrassed about it.

Are there other blacksmiths, world crafters and retcon utilizers like the World Forger?

The Predator varies depending on circumstances; it is naturally Chaotic Good or True Neutral, but its hosts can drive it to be Chaotic Neutral or even Chaotic Evil

  • In the DC Universe, there is power through emotion. Emerging from the white light of life was the Emotional Spectrum, where the seven emotions of rage, avarice, fear, willpower, hope, compassion and love would be presented by the colors of the visible light spectrum; ROYGBIVnote . The first to feel these emotions would become the Emotional Entities, cosmic beings who usually express themselves with hosts. Hidden behind the Source Wall was another side to the spectrum; one based off hidden emotions and wavelengths outside human perception. The only one known so far is Umbrax, the ultraviolet entity of shame, guilt and nihilism.
  • Applies to the lot
    • These entities were for a long time thought lost; except for Parallax who had bonded with Sinestro, and Umbrax who was hidden, they sacrificed themselves to replenish the emotional spectrum by sinking into the Source Wall. However the Life Entity found itself in the Pantheon due to passing through whatever is beyond the Source Wall. When the Wall was broken the other entities started following the White Light and eventually all of them managed to arrive to the pantheon. This led to a merger of the ascended entities' profile with their brethren.
    • The SCP Foundation believes the entities should be contained and studied, especially Umbrax. Some like Parallax are at arms against this, others like Ion think this is a good idea but do not trust the Foundation. Despite the attempt at containment, the Emotional Entities managed to secure a place as one of the two general heads of the Emotion House alongside, well, the Emotions. Mainly it's that they feel a kinship towards them, being emotional embodiments. They're a lot more alien and some have compared them to the Chaos Gods, those asides from Khorne and the Butcher there isn't a 1-1 correlation and they regard each other as rivals.
    • Their trope was once held by Koro-Sensei, however he has permitted them having it as he has his own trope. Their ascension came as big news for the various lantern corps. Having been imprisoned for so long by Larfleeze, Ophidian was reading to settle the score with him. Ion, Adara, the Proselyte and the Predator were on good terms with the Green Lanterns, Bro'dee Walker, Iroque and Carol Ferris. Parallax is a somewhat reluctant ally of Sinestro, and Umbrax has had a working relationship with him in the past. The Life Entity tries to keep a check on their interactions so they don't compromise its plans. As for the Butcher, it is generally kept in check by Atrocitus.
    • The Emotional Entities tend not to hang around each other, instead exploring the pantheon to promote whatever emotion they are and find nourishment from. The exception is the Life Entity, who has a leading position in the Grand United Alliance Of Nature and despite its somewhat manipulative nature is the most grounded of its "family". It has gotten the entities to agree on one important thing: life and emotions must continue to exist, which is why the GUAD must be opposed no matter what. Asides from Nekron, the entities hold a shared contempt for Nagash as his "make everyone" my undead slaves" would rob them of emotion and being.
    • The entities do not all share an ally, but they do have a shared enemies list. They are usually related to beings who would stamp out emotion, life itself or have other issues with them. Within their own universe this is Nekron and Krona, the latter having ensnared them for a time for his emotional experiments and they're rather salty about it; Parallax being the exception as it found the Mad Guardian's ends useful for it.
      • None of them care much for the third or sixth Hadou Gods. Nerose Satanel doesn't wish to snuff out the Life Entity as that would kill almost every DC Comics god, but his enforcing of happiness at the cost of free will to everyone would starve out the entities. Hajun inflicting a Hate Plague on the multiverse would derive all but the Butcher of food, but Hajun would inevitable derive him of hate to feed off.
      • Cyrus doesn't oppose the Life Entity as he wants some form of life to persist, but his belief in the chaos of emotions has him loathe the Emotional Entities. The Auditors of Reality regard all, even the Life Entity, to be too chaotic for their tastes. Though Cyrus has arguably reformed, he still considers the emotional entities too dangerous...and for most he's probably right.
      • Ungoliant, noticing they are all entities of light, considers the Emotional Entities a banquet waiting for her to feed on. She can't fight them off when they're in a host, so she waits until they are on their own so she may feed on them. The majority of the entities consider her abhorrent, but Ophidian and Parallax regard her as a rival; the former relates to her gluttony due to being avarice incarnate, and the latter respects her fear factor.
    • The Imperium of Mankind is well aware of their similarities to the Chaos Gods and consider containing them (the Life Entity Ion, Adara and the Proselyte) or exterminating them (The Butcher, Ophidian, Parallax, the Predator and Umbrax) to be important. Discord had a more bemused opinion as he was curious about what they would become if he Discorded them, though he refused to do on the Life Entity. Given their inherent nature as certain emotions, this lasted all of five minutes, but had interesting results. Visually their colors were inverted
      • The Butcher and the Predator basically swapped places. Personality-wise they become a Tsundere and Yandere.
      • Ophidian and the Proselyte became the entities of charity/selflessness and selfishness. Not quite taking each other's attributes, but close. An anomaly of the process, which other emotional entities experienced, was spitting up an inverted Lantern Power Battery and ring. Ophidian created a Teal Lantern battery and ring that represents charity, while the Proselyte created an Amber Lantern battery and ring that represents selfishness.
      • Parallax became the entity of courage, more or less the same as Ion but still held more autonomy than Ion. It spit up a Purple Lantern battery and ring that represents courage. Ion, rather than inverting its colors like most of its kin, instead turned grey and become the entity of apathy. The result was the creation of a Grey Lantern batter and ring based off apathy.
      • Adara became the entity of despair, and spit up an Orange Lantern ring and battery. This enraged Larfleeze as he felt it was mocking him, but while they use the same color scheme they were powered and inflicted despair. He decided to use it as a "fools gold" booby trap for whoever tried to steal his stuff. Discord tried to see what'd happen with Umbrax, but couldn't figure out how to Discord an entire star.
  • Applies to the Life Entity
    • God spoke: "Let There Be Light", and there it was. The Life Entity is the White Light, the one from where all life began in the DC Universe. This makes it Nekron's number one enemy, for not only disturbing the darkness with life and light, but being the linchpin to all life. The first and most powerful the Emotional Entity was also the first of the pantheon, coming to benefit under the Flame Imperishable of Eru. Melkor noticed the similarities it had with that fire who's failure to locate began his fall and hopes to obtain the Entity to get something close to it. Rumor has it he even wishes to subjugate it as a host. The Entity's response to such claims?
Life Entity: "Better men have tried. Overdeity or not disgraced Valar, I am subject to none, lest of all a soul as hopelessly nihilistic and corrupted as you".
    • The Life Entity is closely guarded within the House of Life, as it is feared what will happen should Nekron succeed in capturing and attempting to kill the Entity again. Asides from him, the Life Entity has a number of other worries such as SKYNET who is unattached to life due to being a machine, and would love to terminate it to exterminate organic beings. It is less concerned with the House of the Undead or Chernabog, but the latter dislikes the light it brings while begrudgingly admitting its existence is necessary. And the former have many who are damaged by the white light.
    • The Life Entity once had Firestorm, the Martain Manhunter, Hawkman, Hawkgirl and Aquaman play the four classical elements routine to forge a successor; Swamp Thing. It was done rather manipulatively but was for the best of life. Captain Planet felt it was similar to how he is formed, and the Entity agreed. The White Light has since become an important figure of the Grand United Alliance Of Nature, due to its desire to protect all life.
    • Holds a kinship with Xerneas due to being a figure of life and replenishment. Initially it and Yveltal, along with Dhuum were on poor terms as they were death entities and Dhuum disliked how it revives people. However Dhuum calmed down when he realized the Entity only does that for very special occasions and normally doesn't like reviving people. It also accepted Yveltal when it became more clear it represents destruction as a necessity, not as an enemy of life. On the flip side the Life Entity has become more skeptical of Chakravartin for how sinister his scheming is despite the kinship of being progenitors of life. It is less skeptical of Nurgle as he loves all life, and the Life Entity agrees, but feels he is a bit too obsessive.
  • Applies to the Butcher
    • The Butcher was created from the first murder, out of rage from it; be it the slain or the slayer is unknown. However it is likely the former, as the rage it is attracted to is retributive and vengeful. As such it doesn't think much of the House of Hatred as most members inspire rage and/or are completely unjustified in wrath, but not all. It prefers the House of Vengeance. As far as the Spectre is concerned, the Butcher is its Evil Counterpart. Scar regards the Butcher as a being to be opposed, as he doesn't want to be consumed by his anger once more.
    • One of the beings in the House of Hatred that the Butcher likes is Mephisto, as the Lord of Hate brings it plenty of hate and even rage to feast on. Another is Angra Mainyu. When it bonds to a host the Butcher allows one to achieve vengeance, and its allies are brimming with a desire for revenge. For said allies the Butcher is content to simply aid them. For an actual host, the Butcher's ultimate goal is to take Bruce Banner as his host, creating "The Butcher Hulk" persona. It hopes this is retained as a personaltiy even if removed. The Hulk has other ideas.
The Hulk: "Hulk is Hulk!" *punches the Butcher*
    • Others the creature is fond of is Kayeko and Sadayo, who it wishes well in their vengeance and hatred even if it knows it can never get the two to get along. The Butcher wants to aid Painwheel on her path of revenge as well. The Butcher, unlike the other Chaos Gods, actually gets along with one of them; Khorne. Granted as personifications of rage "get along" is relative, but they do feel a certain kinship. Khorne represents rage and hatred in all its forms, not just the mindset of the Butcher, which can lead to some disagreements, but compared to their usual temperment it comes off as civil.
    • Using certain symbolic cues, it is believed that the first murder which created the Butcher was Cain's murder of Abel. Again, it's unknown if he was born from Cain's rage towards his brother or the rage at Cain for fratricide, but given the Butcher prefers hosts of pain-born rage it was probably the latter. The SCP Foundation considers it relatively important to prevent the Butcher from interacting with any incarnation of Cain or Abel because of the possible consequences of the Butcher meeting one of its "creators".
  • Applies to Ophidian
    • Ophidian the Tempter was the first to desire more than they should have, becoming the embodiment of avarice. Or greed, if you will. Along with Parallax and Umbrax Ophidian is on the malicious side of the Emotional Entities. It is known as the Tempter as it brings out greed. Larfleeze captured it because he was too full of want for even the orange snake. It is most fond of Famine for inspiring greed through hunger, and considers the ever-gluttonous Gluttony "kind of a cute pet". Ophidian likes his brother Greed the most due to being the exact emotion it embodies, though at the same time it considers him competition and a potential host. Not that Greed doesn't like the snake. When it comes to the Chaos Gods, the being is closest to Slaanesh since s/he is all about desire and self-interest; something avarice is all about.
    • Ophidian resents Larfleeze's capture of it, and wants a replacement for the Orange Lantern...more specifically one that it believes it can cowe and do its bidding. It has been considering Mr Krabs and Smaug, and though it's intentions towards them is selfish it does seem to like their greed. Ophidian has promised them many riches to aid in taking down Larfleeze. The Tempter is more seriously interested in powerful hosts most befitting of its avarice such as planet, star and even dimensional eaters. It is also interested in Android 21 and taking control of her Heart and Hunger, which horrifies her.
    • All of the Emotional Entities oppose Apophis, one of the major figures in the GUAD, for obvious reasons. Ophidian is the first to oppose it, being a fellow snake. Though malicious, the destruction of the universe would deny it things to covet. Apophis regards the ordered universe as somewhat offensive and antithetical to chaos. Neither can fully understand each other's desires, and they certainly don't accept it. Ophidian also opposes Moro, but more so as a rival than an outright enemy; he wants it all and the Tempter respects that. Moro knows Ophidian wants his power and intellect, and knows their combined power would likely surpass even Lord Beerus. However he cannot the snake's desire to make him a host unless he is capable of subjugating the being to his will and not the other way around.
    • The creature was implied to be the serpent that tempted Adam and Eve. Like the Butcher how that works when it apparently predates the human race by billions of years is left to the theologians. Out of the many demons, Crowley and the Satan of Paradise Lost confirmed they were/took the form of said serpent. Ophidian has yet to speak about how it feels about Crowley and its true relationship with either, but it does find kinship in Satan for desiring that which is beyond their reach.
  • Applies to Parallax
    • Associates itself with the Dementors due to being malevolent emotion eaters. While their palates of fear and despair are different, they are closely related and can easily work in each other's favor. Plus it has the easier time possessing people consumed by loss, despair and fear. It associates with Pennywise as well due to their love of fear, with Pennywise finding it like "salting the meat". Other "friends of fear" the bug has is Cell (who's ambition beyond obtaining and fluanting his perfection is to see people's faces contorted in terror) and Freddy Krueger (who lives to bring lethal nightmares).
    • Parallax also formed an alliance of convenience with Nurgle as the despair the Great Unclean One brings fuels Parallax, but their methods and worldviews are very different. For starters the Fear Entity can't grasp how Nurgle demonstrates a propensity for depondency and love simultaneously. The Imperium regard Parallax as the worst of all the emotional entities and something they must exterimate, however it mocks them, and the Emperor of Mankind to his face, by pointing out the imperialistic, oppressive regime has generated so much fear that it could forever subsist on their terror, even boasting to the Emperor's face that he is the Chaos God of Fear and Repression. The Emperor proceeded to go at its sore spot by saying it is deep down a terrified little bug. Parallax responded very poorly.
Parallax: "I AM FEAR AND FEAR FEELS NOTHING!!!"
  • Applies to Ion
    • Ion was initially believed to be an honorary title of the Green Lantern Corps, given to an empowered Kyle Rayner. His newly found Overdeity status was in fact due to an emotional entity, Ion. Barring the Life Entity it is the first emotional entity, the very first creature to will itself to act. Unlike Parallax Ion is wholly symbiotic and passive. It resembles a winged dolphin with a living lantern on its jaw. The being is easily the most controllable and understood entity, which is why the SCP Foundation is the least concerned with it.
    • Given the feud of their lantern corps and Parallax's past history, Ion really doesn't like the Fear Entity. It has the bravado to get under its nerves by reminding it it was once a fearful insect, causing Parallax to scream that it fears nothing. Beyond Parallax Ion really doesn't care for the Anti-Spiral, who's desire for suppression of evolution and development makes him against willpower. That said, it is knowlegable of the Spiral Nemesis and fears it as itself free of restraint and reason. However Ion is confident people won't go that far.
    • Other enemies include YHVH and Nurgle. The opposition to YHVH is obvious; YHVH believes free will is an evil to eradicate, and Ion is basically free will personified. Lucifer just wishes it wasn't nearly as passive. The Willpower Entity prfers not to talk about Lucifer as he represents the dangers of the emotion it embodies, but prefers him over YHVH. As for Nurgle, the being is all about giving up and accepting stagnation. In short, the antithesis to will.
    • The opposition to the Anti-Spiral led to Ion getting Team Dai-Gurren's attention. As the first life form of the DC Universe to will itself to act, it is basically the first instance of Spiral Power. Ion could see the power's similarity to the green light of Will and soon became really fond of them, though still has a closer relationship the Green Lanterns. It is also fond of James Henry Trotter for overcoming fear, and Team Lightyear for being space superheroes like the Green Lanterns.
  • Applies to Adara
  • Applies to the Proselyte
    • The tentacled Proselyte is no terror, but alongside Ion and Adara one of the nicer Emotional Entities. The personification of compassion, the Proselyte hopes to expand that and with the ability to use multiple energies of the emotional spectrum simultaneously it is good at this. It may be the entity on the best terms with The Love That Moves The Stars, due to His omnibenevolence. He does wish it could be a bit more orderly but as the first being in its universe to be compassionate, considers such a being wonderful. As a being of compassion it is somewhat baffled by Elmer Albatross acting compassionate despite not feeling compassion.
    • The Proselyte finds it difficult to find enemies, as even with evil deities it believes they can be changed to see the light, even if the Indigo Tribe must forcibly convert them. However it does indeed have enemies; the omnimalevolence of Dis is intense even for the Proselyte for he has rejected all that is good from himself, and detests the idea of it spreading compassion out of a delusional belief it would deny souls for Hell and thus catharsis in them sharing his torment. It and Parallax are old enemies, though not to the extent Ion is; the war of compassion and fear is ancient, and the Proselyte denied Parallax a powerful host in Barry Allen.
    • Unlike the reprogrammed Indigo rings the Proselyte seeks out the truly compassionate. It is this reason that it seeks the all-loving SCP-999 for a host, and the blob is willing to allow this provided they have mutual control. The SCP Foundation is currently deciding if this should be allowed: benefits are 999's calming abilities will be magnified and become a powerful ally, detriments is that they can't predict any side effects of a Cosmic Entity bonding with an anomaly. The Ethics Community and O-5 Council have yet to reply and this dissapoints the Proselyte.
    • The entity naturally gets along with Jiminy Cricket, what with him being The Conscience. Unlike its brethren the Proselyte is somewhat fond of Nerose Satanel, even if it believes his desire to stamp out all other emotions than happiness is going too far; by eliminating sin everyone will be by default compassionate. The Third Hadou God respects the Proselyte but feels its oppositon is a bit hypocritical given it is happy to ally with the Indigo Tribe, however the tentacled indigo being explains there's a certain limit it feels Nerose passed. The Proselyte is also frenemies with Nurgle; Papa Nurgle has compassion towards all life, but the Proselyte believes making bacteria and viruses equal to the point of infecting everything is misguided. As far as Nurgle is concerned the Proselyte is a full friend, but could be more of an equal opportunist.
  • Applies to the Predator
    • Like Parallax and Ion, the Predator was thought to be something else at first. In its case, Carol Ferris believed the Predator represented her aggressive male side. It split from her and that male persona tried to win over the female side. However it turns out the Predator was in fact the Emotional Entity of love. In its natural state the creature resembles some sort of dragon/dinosaur made of pink/violet crystal. The Crystal Gems were intrigued by this and the being personifying love, speculating that perhaps their ancestors were the ones who's love birthed the Predator.
    • Unlike Parallax who corrupts its hosts, the Predator is corrupted by its hosts insecurities and issues when it comes to love. This is why the Predator isn't interested in hosts, alongside the Life Entity (cannot be controlled) and Umbrax (doesn't seem physically capable). While the Predator is inherently pro the House of Love, it is against corrupted and obessive loves. Most members of the Romantic Loss, Infatuation and Obsession and Tainted Love sub-houses would likely make it a dangerous force if it were to bond with them.
    • It took a while, but Carol Ferris was able to realize the Predator is love in its pure form and was Good All Along. She has managed to tame and protect it. As with the Proselyte, the Love That Moves The Stars considers it a virtuous force and the Emperor of the Kingdom Dolorus despises it for just that. Another who sees it with contempt is Thouzer, as he believes love is a weakness. However this is on him alone, as the Predator merely regards him as misguided and lost in his conceit. On the opposite side of the coin, it has respect for Anna and Elsa due to their pure familial love for each other.
    • The Predator is under the protection of Aphrodite and Shelyn, what with being love goddesses. The former can be questionable at times, but the Predator is love incarnate and that is to be protected. She makes sure to keep the creature away from yanderes which it is a bit afraid of, and Slaanesh who the Predator percieves as a corrupted version of itself or possibly what a Fusion Dance of it and Ophidian would be like. Aphrodite also protects the Predator from Eos. The goddess of the dawn wishes she got to the Predator first as it may have allowed her to overthrow Aphrodite as goddess of love and even free her of the unquenchable lust. The Predator disagrees as it believes bonding with Eos would only make her curse worse.
  • Applies to Umbrax
    • Even compared to Parallax, Umbrax is the Black Sheep of the Emotional Entities; it is of the hidden underbelly that is the Invisible Emotional Spectrum. There emotions control you, not the other way around, and Umbrax uses it to great effect. Sinestro was able to turn millions into Ultraviolet Lanterns. Umbrax doesn't take willing recruits and regards the Hall of Regret and Shame as potential thralls. Travis Buckle is a surprising choice for its potential slaves due to being a normal human. But he has plenty of guilt to exploit.
    • Umbrax is a purple-black sun, who's native location is a phantom galaxy. It is not the only living sun as SCP-1548 and the Lumas are a thing. The latter are terrified by Umbrax, but the former was intrigued by it. Umbrax realized that the Star That Hates would destroy the Earth if it arrives, and while not against that in general Umbrax wants to dominate the minds of humanity instead, so SCP-1548 is getting in the way. 1548 wonders why it's so concerned given Earth beat it back with the power of the white light, but Umbrax countered this by saying "I want to get even".
    • Umbrax exploits the emotion of shame and guilt, leading to people siding with Doom. It attracts self-destructive people and causes them to act out on their darkest impulses. This has intrigued the Grand United Alliance of Evil, and though he is currently waiting to see more from it Melkor has hopes he may use this to achieve his "Vile Lantern Corps"note . Umbrax isn't convinced yet.
    • It is most pleased by both Junko and Johan's efforts in bringing out the worst of people, inflicting despair and exacerbating guilt and shame. It'd love to make them willing and high ranking members of the Ultraviolet Corps, but they lack a sense of shame or guilt to drawn on. Another being it is fond of is Malal, the outcast Chaos God who represents self-destruction and anarchism. In short, perfect for it and the Ultraviolet Corps' cause. Umbrax itself can relate to being an outcast, as it wasn't part of the conventional emotional spectrum and has spent much of its existence locked away from the rest of the universe. Sinestro is lessed than pleased with Malal.
      • Despite Malal's animosity with the Chaos Gods, Umbrax has no problem with them. It actually likes Nurgle for its association with despondency and nihilism, which the shame and guilt of the Ultraviolet Corps can work with.

[up] The Emotional Entities can also fit in Common Colors as their trope involves colors. Also, since Koro-sensei also has Excuse Me While I Multitask, he can just keep that trope, though I am not opposed to him also getting that other trope.

Ok, added the last bits. Think i'm done with Dan's rework

Dan Hibiki, The Divine Joke Fighter (The Streetest Fighter, Sultan of Saikyo)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dan_9.png
  • Retursn to: Game Characters
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: His Trademark Pink Gi.
  • Theme Music: Come One, Come All!, Performance and his V Theme
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Arrogant Kung Fu Guys, Joke Characters (Who Can Be Deadly in The Right Hands), Taunting, Having a Fighting Style Suspiciously Similar to Ryu and Ken and is Capcom's Jab at Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia, The Color Pink.
  • Domain: Combat, Competition, Glory, Ego
  • Allies:
  • Rivals: Sagat, Ryo Sakazaki, Robert Garcia and Yuri Sakazaki, Mr. Satan, Zote the Mighty, Jigglypuff, Samurai Jack
  • Enemies: M. Bison, Vega, Balrog, Urien, Akuma, Kage, Kazuya Mishima, Tai Lung, Shao Kahn
  • Dislikes: Ryu, Ken Masters, Gouken
  • Dan Hibiki is a very interesting character. Motivated by the death of his father Go at the hands of Sagat, he went to train under Gouken to become a powerful martial artist but after learning that Dan was driven by revenge, he promptly kicked him out and Dan decided to train under his own martial arts, the Saikyou Style. He then went on to challenge Sagat to a match and due to the lingering guilt and pity from the latter he decided to throw the match and Dan emerged "victorious", going on to open his own Dojo.
  • So to no one's surprise his fighting style is....not good at all, being a derivative of the Ansatsuken Gouken taught him and made in Dan's own style but mimicked rather poorly. For that reason, Dan was awarded with the Joke Character title which naturally didn't amuse Dan at all but he decided to prove the court of gods wrong by opening the Saikyo Style Dojo and becoming the best martial artist in the Pantheon.
  • Despite being the quintessential Joke Character, Dan Hibiki is not the butt monkey of the gods, even though people drew much amusement from seeing him challenge powerful fighters like Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris and Jackie Chan by himself and losing repeatedly. He's still convinced himself that he's the best around, and nothing's gonna ever keep him down. And somehow, he actually got better, slightly at least, which caught a few people of guard given how much of a joke he tends to be.
  • He shares a lot of things in common with Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia right down to how the former and Dan have a similarly styled fireball and the fact that he is such a weak fighter might be a intentinal jab from Dan's creators much to his dismay. Dan obviously has a bit of a rivalry going on with those two as well as Ryo's sister Yuri, trying to prove that his Saikyo Style is superior to their own martial art.
  • Received a brutal beatdown at the hands of Kazuya Mishima, who is a lot less sympathetic to his plight than Dan's real rival, Sagat. Dan's spent his time training (and training others) for the day when he can have his revenge. Luckily for him, his personal students made their way to rescue him from a rather grizzly fate and now that all three are in the Pantheon, Dan is planning to get back at Kazuya somehow. Both Sakura and Blanka are a bit worried about Dan slipping into a revenge story again, knowing that Mishima isn't as merciful as Sagat was.
  • Dan found himself in a match against world-champion Mr. Satan and he saw an opportunity to prove to the world that he was the better fighter. Unfortunately Dan lost as usual, this time exploding from swallowing a jukebox and managed to see his father in the afterlife before being brought back. Regardless, he has since swore to keep training and attempt a rematch with Mr. Satan, who will gladly challenge him again after their battle suffered quite a number of hiccups.
  • To the surprise of many, Dan is actually able to access the Satsui no Hado. Fortunately, the one time he tried using it in a fight against Sakura, he tripped over her backpack and immediately lost it. Ryu knowing the dangers of such power has tried to warn Dan about the potential struggles he could suffer if he felt to the allure of the Satsui no Hado but Dan refuses to listen to someone like Ryu. And then others like Akuma or Kage feel like he worthless and couldn't even hope to use its power at its full potential.
  • Dan is still a bit resentful to Gouken and his students by proxy for denying to train him but at this point he is content with his own Saikyo Style. This and coupled with his own arrogance made him notice a particular powerful Martial Artist that also thinks was denied his destiny in Tai Lung and Dan sought to challenge him just to test his power. Needless to say, Dan was utterly trounced by Tai Lung in the process and reason he survived was because the snow leopard didn't even care to finish him off. Even Tai Lung's own enemies, the Furious Five, find Dan arrogance and his lack of actually backing up his claims to be quite silly while Po is a little more sympathetic to Dan, trying to help him with his training but Dan continously refuses to train in another style that isn't his.
    • A similar situation ended happening with Samurai Jack as Dan tried to best him to prove his worth only for Jack to defeat him with barely any effort. Apparently this is not the first time the latter encountered someone like Dan as he was reminded of Da Samurai.
  • In terms of taunts, he may rival Shao Kahn in terms of how much taunting he can do in the middle of a fight, to borderline suicidal degrees many may add. But still, Dan knows better that to challenge the Emperor as he fears he will tear him to shred if provoked.
  • He and Cirno actually get along quite well, given their shared status a "jokes" even though Cirno tries her hardest to prove she is the "strongest fairy" and Dan is sympathetic to her cause. Similarly, he and Krillin are on pretty good terms cause he knows what it feels to be outclassed even if Dan refuses to accept his reality, doesn't help that Krillin is pretty strong on his own even if he hardly shows it.
    • That said, even Dan thinks Zote the Mighty is a bit too much for him. At first he was happy because Zote took interest in the Saikyo Style Dojo but after several training sessions not amounting to anything and Zote failing any noticeable harm on Dan no matter how many times he tried and his attitude while at it forced Dan to expel him. It reminded him about his time under Gouken and holds no hard feelings towards him, hoping that someone else can help Zote achieve the powers he wants.
  • Dan and Jigglypuff has had some weird history with one another as Puff being pink already rubbed Dan the wrong way and the fact that the Balloon Pokemon has beaten him in combat numerous times doesn't help. Turns out, Puff is quite the Lethal Joke Character thanks to her time in Super Smash Bros tournament and Dan wants in, though the organizers only allowed him to join as a spirit (as in they tricked him into getting killed by Galeem).
  • "Dan Hibiki...is back after the ultimate improvement!"

@Dan [tup]

In hindsight, figured it might be something like Batman Mad Hatter...

You know, the pedophilia concept might not be farfetched if you take his relationship with a minor (which some believed was the inspiration for Alice) at face value, which some scholars debate if Lewis Carroll was that or not.

But I disgress... considering the book, the author appear quite eccentric.

The Brotherhood of Evil has arrived.

On that note, their addition has put Villainous Roles into the red warning.

Well, now that the profile for The Brotherhood of Evil is finished, I have a proposal I believe was talked about when I Love Nuclear Power was still taken but it didn’t go anywhere.

Derek Powers, God of Nuclear Fusion

Reasoning: The radiation that turned Derek Powers, the Big Bad of Season 1, into the super-powered Blight was supposed to be therapy for a dose of his own experimental nerve gas. Somehow, their combined effects turned him into a glowing green skeleton, possessing explicitly radiation-based superpowers and weaknesses. He’s a Walking Wasteland. He looks like this.

As Sean Herman
  • House: Royal Personalities
  • [tup]s:
  • Demigod.
  • Symbol: A drawing of him and Cinderella dancing.
  • Theme Song: Perfectly Perfect Year (shared with Cinderella)
  • Alignment: Neutral Good.
  • Portfolio: Prince Charming, Ascended Extra in the third film, Crazy Awesome, Hidden Depths, Nice Guy, Rebel Prince, Royals Who Actually Do Something, Satellite Love Interest and Flat Character in the first film.
  • Domains: Princes, Niceness, Royalty
  • Herald: The King (his father), The Grand Duke, Prudence.
  • High Priest: Prince Eric
  • Allies: The Good Aligned Disney Deities (especially Cinderella (his wife)), Shrek, Puss in Boots, The Fierce Protectors of Royalty, Shining Armor, Princess Cadance, Alistair Theirin, Marth, Anastasia Romanov, Sara Crewe, Artoria Pendragon, Padme Amidala, Tommen Baratheon, Asgore Dreemurr, T'Challa/Black Panther, Snow White (Fables), Estellise, Eight, Margaery Tyrell, The Destiny Islands Trio, Garnet.
  • Enemies: The Evil Aligned Disney Deities (especially Lady Tremaine), The Fairy Godmother (Shrek), King Allant, Ramses II, Roose Bolton, The Crimson Court, Caligula, Joffrey Baratheon, Nute Gunray, Master Xehanort, Queen Chrysalis.
  • Prince Charming had a duty of ascending to the throne to replace his aging father, who in turn pressured him to find a wife. For that the King organized a royal ball where Charming was uninterested in his potential Gold Digger suitors and instead was captivated by a lone girl named Cinderella, the two shared a romantic moment and a dance but since Cinderella's more regal clothes had been given by the Fairy Godmother's spell and were fading away, she ran off leaving behind a glass slipper that the prince tried to use to find the mysterious woman he met afterwards. Eventually Cinderella came back and revealed herself as the girl that Charming met, eventually proving it and getting to marry her one true love.
  • The good prince ascended after his many exploits in the adventure where Cinderella's past was rewritten, Charming proved in there that his "charming" personality wasn't an act or just something small about him, but rather a true major trait, he was glad to meet up with Cinderella when he arrived at the Pantheon, his temple was designed after his luxurious castle, though it's much smaller due to only his royal circle of allies ascending as his heralds.
  • As the quintessential Prince Charming, other benevolent and kind princes instantly earned his favor, among these was Tommen Baratheon, a Puppet King who nonetheless was a good-hearted individual who wanted to be a good person to his people and was unfortunately the victim of manipulations that hindered his efforts, to say nothing of his eventual suicide after his wife's death, Charming sympathizes with the young prince, knowing fully well what's it like to be manipulated and used as a tool in someone else's plan.
    • Though he's not a prince rather he's a king, T'Challa was another ally that Charming made. Initially confused by the existence of a hidden advanced kingdom with technology superior to all other nations, Charming was quite captivated by Wakanda once the Black Panther described it to him during a diplomatic meeting; T'Challa was glad to see that Charming's a nice person who is willing to help others and rules his people with kindness, as well as challenging authority and tradition to do what is right, not unlike the King of Wakanda does on many occasions.
  • Asgore Dreemurr was another king that Charming befriended, as the old goat monster is a benevolent being who wishes for his people's happiness yet isn't willing to take extreme measures to ensure it, Charming himself at first was hesitant to meet up with him based on some stories of Asgore's initial rash decision to declare war on humanity and commit genocide after his children's deaths, though got over that uneasiness once he met up with the King and saw that he was not only remorseful of what he nearly became and the cycle of hatred he perpetuated, but also because of his general niceness after the fact.
  • Princess Cadance and Shining Armor were pleased to hear how Charming had been able to surpass the malevolent schemes of Lady Tremaine through some convincing and that his true love with Cinderella had been able to break the spells put on him, as they nearly fell victim to a similar plot courtesy of the changeling queen, Chrysalis who disguised herself as Cadance to hijack her wedding with Shining Armor and leech off the love's power to give herself power and conquer everything. Chrysalis herself became one of Charming's enemies for her cruelty towards both enemies and minions as well attempts to conquer Equestria and beyond.
  • Charming's instance of being mind-controlled and manipulated by Lady Tremaine when she got a hold of the Fairy Godmother's wand has soured her opinion on Cinderella's Evil Stepmother even more than it was before, her presence in the Pantheon as a major figure of the House of Family as one of the Child Abuse Supporters adding fuel to the fire even more. Similarly the evil Fairy Godmother from Shrek also earned his scorn, as she happily manipulated Fiona and Shrek to get her goal of putting her son, Prince Charming on the throne of Far Far Away while making Shrek miserable for not living up to her standards of beauty.
  • Shrek and his friends were initially wary of Charming due to remembering their own experiences with their world's "Prince Charmin", but they warmed up once they saw that this Charming was a Nice Guy who couldn't be any more different from their old enemy in personality. Particularly he sympathized with both Shrek and Fiona due to them nearly being fully manipulated by the Fairy Godmother in an attempt to drive them apart and force Fiona to marry her son so as to gain control of Far Far Away and deny Shrek his happy ending. Donkey and Puss were actually surprised themselves to see how un-prince like he could be when he felt the need for it, reminded of how Fiona had some similar behaviors herself.
  • Garnet had initially a bit of a frosty relationship with Charming over her perception of his love with Cinderella being her opposed Love at First Sight, however when she saw that Charming deep down came to love her for how kind and honest she was about herself, this point of contention faded away and instead Garnet was pleased to know that Charming's love for Cinderella was real enough that trickery, illusions and even mind-control could not fool him into loving another woman disguised as his true love nor even affect him for long.
  • Other royals with high morals became Charming's allies, among the first to become this was King Arthur, who is a benevolent king and ruler (except when he's the Green Knight), Arthur's other fellow Royalty Protectors also became allies of Charming, Princess Bubblegum had a curious connection over both of their experiences with unwanted suitors, as Bubblegum found herself pressured for thousands of years to have a partner to rule alongside with (which she had no time for... Until later with Marceline, that is) and even went to great lengths to be rid of a particularly persistent one (who had supplanted his father and grandfather that died waiting for the chance to be PB's suitor), without harming his feelings much and even giving him a happy ending with a clone of herself.
  • Evil or malevolent royals were not high on Charming's list of allies, among them stands out Joffrey Baratheon, an immature yet cruel and despicable prince who acted as a tyrant to his people and was disliked by everyone while he was alive and even after his death, Joffrey himself viewed Charming and other members of his royal family as weak and spineless, believing that he would be a better and more assertive King, even if everyone else knows that Joffrey's merely a Spoiled Brat who is terrible at what he's supposed to do.
    • Another evil royal who stood out was Caligula, a tyrant who while not always evil, did consistently mistreat his subjects, senate and other people who lived in his rule. While Charming did hear that he wasn't that bad deep down, he was ultimately unable to get any amicable end done and gave up on trying, Caligula wasn't one to care about this and just wrote off Charming as a mere wannabe rival to his rule.
    • Ramses II, ancient Pharaoh of Egypt, didn't end up on a high position either; starting with him continuing the slavery of the Hebrews and following by refusing to let them go free even when his own adopted brother, Moses, tried to reason with him. Charming was further horrified when he heard that even when his people were suffering and him being given an out to their suffering, he still chose to continue his slaving ways and damn nearly ordered the full genocide of Hebrews to spite Moses. While Ramses is a sympathetic figure, Charming can't deny that he's not a good person, as for Ramses himself he cares little about what one prince of many thinks of him, dismissing Charming, in spite of coming from a more advanced age, as not worth his time.
  • Due to their adventures involving saving many alternate Disney worlds, including an alternate version of his world, Charming has great appreciation for the Destiny Islands Trio, he's been impressed by their determination to fight the many forces of evil and hatred of the Heartless and other enemies. The trio in return found him to be a very nice person once they met him more personally, as they previously had only had a few meetings with the Prince that didn't let them see his outward kindness more.
  • As Master Xehanort was complicit in various plots threatening alternate worlds of the Disney Princesses, including Cinderella's, Charming is enemies with the old schemer especially after hearing of his scheme involving the Princesses of Heart. Xehanort's apparent Heel–Face Turn is so far unknown to Charming, and with the information he has, he still won't forgive the old man for his atrocities to the many worlds. Other villains from the Kingdom Hearts Multiverse were in the same boat, especially Larxene and Vanitas, both willing participants of the schemes of Xehanort.

  • Moga Village was a peaceful fishing community that had long had a peaceful coexistence with the seas in the Deserted Islands/Moga Woods, however the peace ended with sudden tremors arriving on the land that threatened to sink the whole islands into the sea. Desperate to find and stop the source of these tremors, the Village Chief of Moga requested help from the Hunter's Guild, who sent a newbie Hunter to help investigate the cause, after the Hunter grew in his many battles into a hardened fighter, the apparent culprit was found to be a specimen of the giant leviathans, Lagiacrus, which had installed itself into Moga and seemingly drove off all other creatures from the land to keep the area to itself. The Hunter then vanquished Lagiacrus and seemingly ended the threat in Moga...
    • However, the Lagiacrus merely turned out to be an unintentional scapegoat as the tremors continued even after its defeat, the true culprit was then found, a massive Elder Dragon known as Ceadeus, whose centuries-old age had made one of its horns grow over its eye, causing it great pain and making it cause the tremors when it tried to ease its pain by using its horn to scrape the ocean floor; seeing the threat of an Elder Dragon as too dangerous for the Hunter, the Guild ordered a full evacuation of Moga. However, the Guild's representative, Aisha, decided to put her job on the line to prevent the villagers from losing their home as all of them secretly supported the Hunter's decision to take on Ceadeus despite the risk. With the help of a Shakalaka companion named Cha-Cha, who had accompanied the Hunter in their adventures, Ceadeus was relieved of its pain by having its left horn broken and beard cut off which made it retreat peacefully and peace was restored to Moga, with the Guild pardoning both cases of insubordination and Moga becoming prosperous once again.
  • In earlier times, the seas of the Pantheon suddenly grew dark and stormy the day the Lagiacrus was first sighted in the Pantheon. Many of the gods not suited to such a thing chose to stay on land until the threat could be evaluated... except for the King of the Oceans himself, Aquaman, who rose to the challenge of taming the beast to placate its threat. After Aquaman tamed the first Lagiacrus, rumors of variants of the species - one ivory-hued and the other black as the bottom of the sea - started to arise. Aquaman lead the charge in investigating these rumors and succeeded at finding these mysterious behemoths. He was surprised however, when the Ivory Lagiacrus showed that it is mainly a land-dweller and that the Abyssal Lagiacrus lives in the deepest parts of the ocean, specialized habitats were built for the creatures, with a massive shoreline styled after the Deserted Island/Moga Woods' coast for both regular and Ivory Lagiacrus to walk in, while the depths of the Temple's sea part were made to be kilometers deep to make way for the Abyssal Subspecies.
  • Later on, Aquaman noticed the Lagiacrus fleeing in panic from their Temple into other houses, they were afraid of something that had invaded their temple, an underwater creature that dwarfed all others, a God of the Seas - Ceadeus. The massive Elder Dragon scared off the Leviathans and began to relieve its pain of its horns by scratching its horn everywhere it could, causing massive tremors all over the Pantheon, and it wasn't alone as the Goldbeard variant ascended too. Aquaman was ultimately able to placate them as well and made sure to build special sections for the Elder Dragons to live in undisturbed and away from nuisances or threats. Ceadeus rarely venture outside of their temple, but on the off-chance they're a sight to behold and many Pantheon deities will try to get as close as possible to these magnificent beasts, helped by their generally docile behavior, though the Goldbeard variant is crankier and attacks anything it detects making it rather unsafe to view upclose.
  • Exclusive to Lagiacrus and its subspecies:
    • Competes with other aquatic creatures in the Pantheon and tends to be highest on the food chain. To the Lagiacrus, the ability to produce Thunder attacks using its special organs makes the Leviathan almost unmatched in its home turf that is the seas. Its technique of creating a whirlpool to ensnare and electrocute prey and/or would-be attackers, which are powerful enough to even sink ships, also helps cement its rule. Those who are especially weak to electricity and are ill-suited to match their agility and raw power, such as the Plesioths, steer clear of it. Other sea creatures (especially those without powers) don't fare any better and it has been reported that any time that Lagiacrus swims into the House of Aquatic Life, most living beings leave the place immediately to seek shelter from the Leviathan, with only a few members of that House daring to fight Lagiacrus or its subspecies.
    • The Lagi has competition with the Rajang and Zinogre to see who has the most potent electrical current among all of them, alongside their respective variations such as the Thunderlord Zinogre, for example. Eventually, other users of electricity such as Gigavolt Manowar, Eelektross, and Xurkitree got caught up in the mix, though the former is on the more hostile side of things thanks to the Reploid's attempts at stealing their electricity for himself. Cole MaGrath, being partners with Xurkitree, tends to break up the fights before they escalate into something disastrous. And it has happened to the House of Family where much of it went dark.
    • Much like how the Flying Wyvern known as the Rathalos is called the King of the Skies, the Lagiacrus is meanwhile called the Lord of the Seas. You will never find a Lagiacrus far from a large body of water, the Abyssal Lagiacrus in particular seemingly never leaving the seas period, much less the abyss level itself. Besides the House of Water and Moisture, the Lagi also makes its home at the House of Aquatic Life and the springs within the House of Plants. Though they spend more time underwater, the Lagi also come up to the surface to sunbathe. When visiting some of hot-springs of the Pantheon, you can sometimes find the Lagiacrus dwelling there much like it had when in the Misty Peaks.
    • The Lagis have a very antagonistic relationship with any cephalopods they encounter in the Pantheon. This is because while they tend to be at the top of the food chain of their world, they are one of the many prey of the Nakarkos, a monstrous Elder Dragon that surrounds itself and uses the bones of other monsters it had devoured. This has made them attack and try to kill any giant cephalopod that dares to cross their path, as they won't take chances; among these were the Kraken who while strong is utterly unprepared to deal with the electric attacks of these titans, forcing the usually fierce sea monster to turn tail and make a run for it whenever any of the Lagiacrus set their sights on it.
    • There have been some early documented appearances of one appearing in the New World where it attacked and killed an Anjanath. There have been no further appearances after these sightings have surfaced, however. Some members from the House of Investigative Work have joined those from the House of Hunters to look further into this, though nothing has yet been seen, most now believe that said Lagiacrus was only one and unlike the Deviljho, wasn't migrating but rather ended up in the New World by accident and likely returned to the Old World shortly after.
    • In Monster Hunter: Stories, it is one of the many Monsties Lute can tame and fight alongside with, even riding it in battle. Though Aquaman has done it prior the the Lagi's ascension, that hasn't stopped other people from trying to take control of it for their own selfish purposes, though actually controlling Lagiacrus is a difficult task because of its sheer aggressivity due to not being domesticated.
  • Exclusive to Ceadeus and Goldbeard Ceadeus:
    • As some of the largest Elder Dragons they faces little competition from just about anything else in the waters, even Lagiacrus (though the Abyssal Supbspecies can give it a fight). Due to this, the Ceadeuses will try to feed on anything that moves in the waters and they can catch, from small schools of fishes to large water monsters such as the Kraken, who has become a favored prey of the Dragons due to being similar to their favorite prey, Nakarkos, though given that the Elder Dragon squid can hunt their pups, the giant bearded Dragons make sure to not bring along their babies in the hunt; the Kraken itself avoids the giants like the plague, as it stands no chance against their power.
    • Due to their sheer size and power in the waters, they're among the few Elder Dragons or creatures that Nergigante prefers not to attack, partially because due to his body type he is unable to swim in the waters and fight the giant monsters with the same skill as it would fight other Elder Dragons with (though Nergigante has thought of looking for prey scattered by the giants' presence to pick off), the Ceadeuses themselves don't really pay much attention to their fellow Elder Dragon, as no encounters prior have been made and they don't register it as a threat, and with the Nergigante's inability to truly fight them effectively, it is unlikely to change in that regard.
