Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Oh boy.

Bill Cipher is an Eldritch Abomination who can influence people through the Mindscape and make deals. He was able to watch the material realm through triangle and eye symbols to learn more about the world and plot his next moves. He can pull Demonic Possession on some of the people he makes deals with. He may appear Affably Evil, but he is extremely Ax-Crazy under it. He destroyed his home, the Nightmare Realm, and planned to gain a physical form in the material realm and cause Weirdmageddon. Should he gain a physical form, he’ll become a powerful Reality Warper, and he eventually succeeded. Really, the only reason he was defeated was because of his temper, which allowed the heroes to take advantage of this Fatal Flaw. He doesn’t care that Weirdmageddon will eventually cause the end of the dimension and everything living in it as long as he has his “fun.”

[up][up] Bill would have an enmity with the likes of Star Butterfly, Tom Lucitor and The Magic High Commission due to his actions in trying to cause Weirdmageddon and destroying multiple worlds with the end goal of possibly destroying all existence. As for interests, he could seek out Greeza for its destructive capabilities.

  • The world faced mortal danger with the arrival of Soul Edge, a blade that is said to be cursed by an "Evil Seed" and that whoever tried to take hold over the sword only causes them to be possessed and their minds bent to the will of the blade. The inherent Evil Seed also released a corruptive influence that poisoned the minds of many and twisted their mind and body into malevolent beings known as the Malfested. This would one day greatly affect the life of a warrior monk named Kilik, a member of the Ling Sheng So Temple where he found himself a familial substitute and greatly looked up to a girl named Chai Xianglian. However, on the day Kilik and Xianglian were to be gifted a pair of ancient artifacts, the Evil Seed took effect from the emergence of Nightmare, causing the temple's population to be corrupted and be driven insane by the desire to kill. Being the only one unaffected due to possessing the mirror, the Dvapara-Yuga, Kilik killed all of his familial substitutes, Xianglian included, out of self-defense, though not before suffering from a case of Survivor's Guilt and loss. Taking alongside him the fabled staff, the Kali-Yuga, with him that Xianglian had during her corruption and death as well as the Dvapara-Yuga, Kilik traveled around China, meeting an enigmatic man known only as Edge Master, who openly trained Kilik to master his fighting style as well as keeping in check of his two treasured relics, telling him that the Dvapara-Yuga was key to repelling the corruptive effects of the Kali-Yuga. Sometime after completing his training, Kilik would eventually meet a pirate traveler named Maxi and an Imperial Guard trainee named Chai Xianghua. All of them were united by a desire to pursue the cursed sword, Soul Edge, and quickly came to form a trio who went on a quest to destroy the blade, whilst their adventure also led to the three of them becoming close confidants and friends with one another. Their journey would lead them to Ostrheinsburg where they would confront the Azure Knight and possessor of Soul Edge, Nightmare, and his leading henchmen. While they were able to defeat him, their journey would still continue due to Nightmare's reemergence months later alongside a collection of related events.
    • Xianghua was born to a former monk of the Ling-Sheng Su temple who fathered two daughters, the other being Xianglian, though he and his wife separated, alongside their girls, and Xianghua's mother made no mention of her father. She would eventually enlist herself for a position in the Ming Empire's Imperial Guard, hoping that with her skills in swordsmanship, she can be approved to set off in search for the "Hero's Sword", which turned out to be Soul Edge. She was eventually successful in gaining a position and during her travels, she would meet up with Kilik and Maxi, and though unbeknownst to her, the sword that he was carrying was the Ling-Sheng Su's missing third artifact, the Krita-Yuga, which was actually the Holy Sword, Soul Calibur, taking the form of a Chinese sword.
    • Maxi was born to a merchant and, as a result, was knowledgeable about different cultures from what his father went through for his job, though he felt worn out by what he did and, in his last days, told Maxi to explore the world and experience the thrill and fun of being a free man, which his son took into heart. Establishing a band of pirates, Maxi went on to sail across much of Asia and Europe, though in a cruel turn of events, they were once attacked by the golem, Astaroth, who wound up slaying the crew, sans Maxi himself. He has since promised to carry on his crew's wishes of traveling the world. Having met Kilik prior hand as a visitor, Maxi was open to joining alongside him and Xianghua in their travels with his intended goal to fight and defeat Astaroth and avenge the death of his fellow pirate band.
    • The trio's adventure in ending the threat of Soul Edge would eventually lead them to divulge paths many years later; Kilik would eventually separate from Xianghua, though not before reciprocating their budding love with one another, which would lead Xianghua to bear a son, whom she named Xiba. Kilik would eventually take up the mantle of Edge Master and personally take it upon himself to master the balance between light and darkness that was thrust upon him the day the Evil Seed was released. Xianghua was taken into an Arranged Marriage with a Ming Empire general, with whom she would bear two children, as well as making a concentrated effort to keep in contact with her oldest son with Kilik. Maxi would successfully kill Astaroth, only to be embedded with a shard of Soul Edge, and chose to leave Kilik and Xianghua behind, not wanting to risk putting their lives in danger. Initially leading a lonely life, Maxi would find solace in being taught by Edge Master and eventually take up the offer of looking after and training Xiba as a favor to help Kilik in some way or another.
  • The trio would eventually find a way to ascend into the Pantheon, thanks to their grueling journey to destroy Soul Edge and its corruptive influence on the world. The circumstances of their ascension, however, were on a rather worrying note, for Soul Edge and Nightmare had managed to find their way into the Pantheon and was continuing to spread their influence to a new realm as well. While it is noted that Kilik, Xianghua, and Maxi's entrance in the Pantheon was expected, given that their fates were intertwined with the cursed sword ever since the spread of the Evil Seed, it came as a surprise that they were not from a time that most were familiar with, but rather, they came from an earlier, heavily altered time period where while the main events regarding Nightmare and Soul Edge were largely the same, the surrounding circumstances and situations ended up playing much more differently. They weren't really aware of the older timeline either, which has left the trio confused for quite some time before they received some clarification from the House of Time And Space. Even so, the Pantheon has been quite welcoming to them and they've made an effort to explore and familiarize themselves with their new surroundings, which opened up to them being more determined to fight against Nightmare and his followers from attempting to corrupt the Pantheon to his own machinations.
  • Their opposition against Nightmare and Soul Edge aside, they are known to be quite close to one another and are willing to fight and die for another, which is one of the reasons why they've managed to persevere for so long. And from their experience in the Pantheon, it seems to look as if the trio, especially Maxi, have been pining to make a trip around the Pantheon and explore its wonders. Kilik and Xianghua are more than open in supporting his wishes and more often than not, traveling has become a major habit of theirs. While it's fun and refreshing, it also means a bigger chance to come across opponents, which the three were quick to get accustomed with and they've seen this habit as an important learning step to them as it means that even in the midst of having a sense of refreshment, one should always keep their mind alerted to whatever threat looms by. Maxi's experience as a pirate and being descended from a merchant has also been a helping matter in this case, which, by extension, has also led to the three of them got quickly accustomed to many of the Pantheon's residential deities, Houses, and settings.
  • The trio found the Pantheon to be quite a pleasant experience from what they encountered throughout their travels. For one, they were quite engaged in involving themselves with usual costumaries that they specialized in and the trio was willing to take a few breaks in an effort to immerse themselves, relax, and find some sort of enjoyment in anything they didn't concern them trying to hunt down Soul Edge or the Malfested. For one, Xianghua is eager to attend the House of Law and Justice and enlist herself in a position where she could prove her brand of justice and hopefully score a few new friends, Maxi's nature as a pirate obviously leads him to visit the Hall of Piracy, and Kilik would take visitations to the House of Fighting and Combat as a means to hone his skills and further his own focus on saving the influence of the Evil Seed with further training.
  • While the presence of Nightmare and Soul Edge and its corrupting influence was quickly noted down, the trio were just as dismayed as each other when they realized that there were others who also possessed similar qualities in possessing evil influencing powers and artifacts and were more than willing to use these to further their own gains, have their actions cause the deaths of untold numbers and plunge the world to their own evil whims. Among the first they took notice of was the Dark Lord, Sauron, and the fallen Elder God, Shinnok, both of whom wielded the One Ring and a Netherrealm Amulet respectively as a means to amplify their own powers and corrupt others to evil. All three of them were adamant in quickly announcing their enmity towards the two of them, though Kilik has confided with Xianghua and Maxi that he is secretly afraid that their powers may further corrupt Kilik into embracing his darker side and that the Dvapara-Yuga may not be enough to quell it. Luckily, their friends simply told Kilik that regardless, they'll still look after one another and fight for good. Sauron and Shinnok, conversely, have seen Kilik with great interest and seek to further corrupt him for their own gain, seeing as his corrupted form can potentially be a massively offensive power that they can wield for their means.
    • On a more fortunate note, their enmity towards Sauron have led Kilik, Xianghua, and Maxi to become familiar with, and eventually meet up with a collective of heroes from Middle-earth, namely the wizard, Gandalf, Aragorn, heir, and king of Gondor, and two Hobbits, Frodo and Bilbo Baggins, both of whom once carried the One Ring with them at a certain point, the latter when he stumbled across it in his journey to free the Dwarfen Stronghold from Smaug and the former when he banded with a few travelers, Gandalf and Aragorn included, to take the One Ring to Mount Doom, located at Mordor, in an effort to destroy it. Noticing the similarities between the One Ring and Soul Edge alarmed the members of the Fellowship and Bilbo and quickly took it upon themselves to fight against Nightmare if they ever met, but they've found the trio to be kindred spirits of sorts and generally managed to get along, with Xianghua being open to the possibility of serving Aragorn as a protector in case they were to work together. Additionally, the Fellowship has been keeping on tabs with Kilik as a means to help him out emotionally and whenever he needs help in containing his corruptive essence from within.
    • Furthermore, there was also the Golden Lute, who fell under the possession of a bard-turned-necromantic demon known only as The Necrodancer, and the lute itself was a malevolent entity whose true form was a golden dragon, The Dark Matter Horde, and the fallen knight, Arthas Menethil; the former was similar to Soul Edge in the sense that they wished to use its powers to kill and resurrect others to bind to its services, the Dark Matter Horde was an active corruptive influence and whose entire schtick revolved on Demonic Possession, and the latter was turned evil partly because of his emotions and desire for heroism steadily poisoning his mind, and partly because he took hold of the corrupted sword known as Frostmourne. Clearly, the trio was quick to declare their opposition towards them, though their fights against Arthas have been noted to be quite intense, seeing as Frostmourne and Soul Edge were very similar and that Arthas was just as much of a ruthless killer as Nightmare, with the added intention of wanting to be a warlord.
  • Kilik also takes visitations in the House of Despondency as the place offers a very comfortable and quiet place to meditate on as well as reflect on his past and his actions. It works well there as there are many there who are familiar with Kilik's story of how he wound up becoming corrupted and being the last known survivor of the Ling Sheng Su monk community. At one point, after a meditation session, he was once asked about being a Sole Survivor and how it weighed on him having Survivor's Guilt, a term that sounded quite unfamiliar with Kilik, given that he predated centuries before the phrase itself was coined. He stated that he's found his path to be a long and difficult one ever since, but has been very thankful to his friends and supporters for helping him overcome his physical and mental hurdles. That said, he feels quite awkward to be around Despair of the Endless, which makes sense as Kilik doesn't want to be reminded of his own moment of despair, namely his temple's massacre and seeing Xianglian die in his arms.
  • With his own experience of being a Sole Survivor in a harrowing incident, Kilik felt that because of the Pantheon's scope, he was quite likely to encounter someone who underwent a similar tragedy. He found one in Sasuke, a member of a ninja clan known as the Uchiha, who were renowned for possessing the Sharingan, a special eye ability that allowed them to analyze and mimic someone's movement whilst also increasing one's own speed, dexterity, and reflexes. He was apparently the only survivor of his own clan's massacre that was perpetrated by his older brother, Itachi, and dedicated his life to avenging his clan, though the circumstances of the slaughter were more complicated than it seemed. Kilik felt sorry for Sasuke and felt that the Sharingan being powered by tragic emotions that worsened his sanity were eerily similar to the influence of Soul Edge meant that he wasn't to be taken lightly. That said, the fact that he was seeking atonement made Kilik relieved and wished Sasuke luck. The Uchiha responded by telling Kilik that he still has a long way to go regarding his issues, but regardless, wished him luck, albeit in his own way. Though as it turns out, Sasuke does want Kilik to win against Soul Edge, figuring that what it can do could be far worse than anything Madara could have ever planned.
    • Being a lone survivor may be a loose term as he was also killed off, but Kilik and his friends were able to reach good terms with Hanzo Hasashi, given that the two can relate to losing a loved one, though Kilik was somewhat startled to learn of just how consumed Hanzo was in his desire for revenge when he became the undead spectre, Scorpion. Learning of how similar Shinnok's Amulet and Soul Edge were as alluring, sentient items bent on twisting the mentalities of others into evil, Hanzo was open for an alliance, stating that he will do whatever is necessary to destroy the cursed sword. On the other hand, Kilik is glad to hear that Hanzo has since moved past his vengeful desires and even rebuilt the Shirai Ryu, which gave him thoughts on how he should consider rebuilding the Ling Sheng Su community. On an extended note, Kuai-Liang, grandmaster of the second iteration of the Lin Kuei also made arrangements to establish a partnership with the trio and train them in his own way so that they could better prepare themselves in the Pantheon. He's taken a personal liking to Kilik and Xianghua for their accomplishments and encourages them for their heroics. That's not to say he neglects Maxi as Kuai has stated that he has latent potential in his skills as a nunchaku wielder.
  • Xianghua's experience of having to fight for the position of being a royal guard for the Ming Dynasty has earned her a degree of respect in the Houses of Loyalty and Servitude and Royalty and they did open up to the possibility of having Xianghua participate in their services, partly because her company was a nice and jovial one to have with the girl being welcome to spend time and have fun there and partly because of her experience in dealing with Soul Edge, Xianghua can prove herself to be a stout ally in their support. She was happy to learn that they were opening up a course for her to become a bodyguard for many of the two Houses' residents and representatives, and she is ready to uphold the promise that she will do whatever it takes to look after those that she has to protect, even if her life depended on it. Naturally, this had Kilik worried, but he still congratulated and encouraged Xianghua regardless.
  • Sometime later on in her life, Xianghua had to deal with conflicting priorities between maintaining her love with Kilik and having to be set up for an arranged marriage with a Ming Dynasty general. The latter was forced onto her, though they were able to reach a compromise in which her son with Kilik, Xiba, would be spared and sent to another household while she visited him once per year. While these were part of an old timeline, Xianghua eventually learned about them during a visit to the House of Time And Space and it's left her a little shaken with how the future for her may turn out to be. She did learn of similar circumstances regarding Liu Bei and his wife, Lady Sun Shangxiang, given that they were also in an arranged marriage that they were content with, though that also meant that Lady Sun had to defect from her direct family from the Wu Kingdom to join the Shu Kingdom. The couple had a measure of respect for Xianghua and even considered hiring her to fight alongside them in the Pantheon. Xianghua declined, stating that she already accepted a similar offer in the House of Royalty, but she did visit the two and quickly got along with them, especially Lady Sun, considering they have a penchant for having a tomboy-esque mindset and would spar with one another to sharpen and improve their combat skills.
  • As a pirate, Maxi naturally visits the Hall of Piracy and generally enjoys the place... except for the fact that he feels that it, being in the House of Crime and Transgressions is rather misplaced, considering that while he is aware that looting and invasions are a usual shtick for many pirates generally, Maxi only became one so that he could amass a group of friends and enjoy adventuring to its fullest. Even so, he lived a century or two before some of the world's most notorious pirates like Blackbeard, hence he fees annoyed that they furthered the reputation of pirates being savage raiders. That said, he enjoys Jack Sparrow's company and is welcome to go on a ride with him and is very complimentary of the actions of Edward Kenway and Adéwalé, both of whom were pirate-turned-assassins who used their professions as a means to help others. However, while they often meet up and share a few good moments together, Maxi's priorities differ from Edward and Adéwalé's, as they're too invested in monitoring and stopping the Templars, much like Maxi's restless struggles in getting revenge from Astaroth and destroying Soul Edge.
  • The trio became fast friends with Ragna and Noel Vermillion, if mainly due to how their past tragedies involving the loss of a loved one and their innocence and how those were an important impetus to forming their own morals and virtues. Interestingly, Noel and Ragna's brother, Jin Kisaragi, possessed Nox Nyctores, a set of legendary weapons that were created to combat the Black Beast, but had a corruptive influence in them that warped Noel and Jin to act on their worst impulses. And speaking of the Black Beast, this happened to be Ragna's subdued bestial form, which he has tried very hard to hold it back from being released. These similar quirks were what made Kilik strongly consider empathizing and helping them out, though Jin has proven to be a difficult case, given his aloof and often rude personality. Either way, they'll still fight and provide for one another, aware that unity in the Pantheon is a necessary action.
  • They also encountered the Black Swordsman, Guts, who, much like them, also happened to have a traveling group who were there to provide Guts combat backup and moral support in his journey to cure the damaged mind of his lover, Casca, as well as doing whatever it takes to protect his newly found companions, though he still desires to one day kill Griffith and the Godhand for the miseries they've inflicted on his world, Guts and his traveling band included. Like Kilik, he also had a dark side due to his cursed Brand and his hatred towards Griffith, something which tends to be monitored and repelled by his most trusted confidant, Schierke. While their interactions were brief, and in spite of the reputation Guts attained for being a rampaging butcher on the battlefield, Kilik found his company to be quite engaging. In fact, Guts himself found Kilik, Xianghua, and Maxi to be good company and gained a measure of respect for them, and while Schierke is usually shy and rather socially awkward, she is eager to help the trio out on their burdens. Of course, they've come to immediately oppose Griffith and the Godhand, seeing as their actions are not too different from how Soul Edge corrupts its victims, though they, in turn, don't really seem to register the trio as much of a threat due to their ego and overwhelming power.
  • Among other allies they were able to encounter throughout their time in the Pantheon, they earned the respect of Wonder Woman, who was rather inspired by the trio's commitment to one another and can tell just how dedicated they were in stopping Soul Edge and finding a way to settle down together once it's all over. Diana has even taken notice of Kilik and Xianghua's romantic feelings for another, and her own words of comfort have helped in them gaining a further sense of confidence over time. Tyrion and Teclis, High Elven twins of Ulthuan, were also open to the prospect of working with Kilik, Xianghua, and Maxi, though the former is a little hesitant due to his upbringing and has to be reminded by the latter. There's also the fact that Tyrion himself has had to struggle with keeping in check of his darker impulses of giving into the temptations of the Elven War God, Khaine, and his reminder of being manipulated to use the Widowmaker during the End Times and becoming further corrupted. Teclis told this information to the trio, which they've used to try to bond with Tyrion so that he and Kilik can come to an understanding. A partnership became successful, if mainly because of Teclis's insistence. Lastly, the trio has stumbled across the Hylian hero, Link, several times throughout their travels in the Pantheon. Given how Link himself is familiar with Soul Edge, given that he did visit the trio's world at one point, he's more than willing to even tag along with Kilik, Xianghua, and Maxi. Though the Hylian Hero's tendencies of sometimes messing around have been an amusing sight for the trio, the fact remains that they have had a strong alliance with each other ever since.
  • Outside of Soul Edge, the trio has a natural opposition against any being that desires to destroy all of life, given that this was also Soul Edge's main intention. It didn't take long before they took up arms against Nekron, especially given that the Lord of the Unliving would do anything to further the end of existence, which also included using Black Lantern Rings to possess and corrupt the deceased into following his services, which unnerved Kilik and Maxi, particularly as the possibility of an undead Xianglian and Maxi's slain crew was a lot more possible. Of course, that meant Kilik, Xianghua, and Maxi would have to fight against the Grand United Alliance of Destruction, of which Nightmare himself has taken part as a high-ranking member. Generally, Nekron doesn't care much about the trio, just as much as he does anyone else, though the fact that his resurrected undead are in a constant state of mental pain and torture and being willfully forced to serve Nekron without the chance of fighting back would only make things more personal for the trio in case their loved ones were ever used to attack them.

  • Lobotomy Corporation is a company in the City that is the innovative new field of energy production without environmental pollution. They use entities dubbed "Abnormalities" to generate "Enkephalin", which is then refined (otherwise, it's also a drug), stored in Enkephanlin Boxes, then sold. How do they do that? By making them feel good in any of the four methods: Instinct (nourishment and hygiene), Insight (improve living conditions), Attachment (social needs), and Repression (regulating undesirable needs and wants). While 100% environment-safe, the risk comes in the form of these Abnormalities breaching, and the need to suppress them to return them to their containment units.
    • The Corporation itself ascended after the Tree of Light is executed, and the Seed of Light is planted for the City, and the facility is shut down, with the Sefirot finally put to rest. Except Angela decides to turn rogue, snuff out that Seed, and turn the Crapsack World even worse as she builds a library for all of the City's knowledge.
    • It began when X/A found himself in his desk as always, confused as to why the company was still running after the whole Seed of Light plan was enacted. That's when a few new people entered his office and explained what happened. He and his company were transcended from their existence in the City to live new lives in the Pantheon. As for why his company was chosen, it was for the trope Mainlining the Monster, which is what L Corp essentially did with its contained Abnormalities. What's more, while up to 40 Employees have been put to rest in the Library only to then be awakened as Assistant Librarianswhy 40? , far less of them are needed compared to all the Agents L Corp needed at a time, so the remaining Agents and Clerks have joined X/A in ascension as well, free from what the City has now become thanks to Angela's sabotage.
  • Applies to the company as a whole:
    • On the first day of L Corp in the Pantheonnote , it had to do nothing for a while as the majority of its good Agents have become Assistant Librarians, while the remaining Agents' accumulated vacation time finally meant that they had something to spend it on and they had all wanted to spend it now, not to mention the whole rebellion between Angela and Binah against all the other Sephirah after the Seed of Light plan was enacted. X/A had to relent, and even if there were... ways to get more Employees, he also had to get oriented with life in the Pantheon, as well as having to re-evaluate how to handle things from now on since they're not providing for the City anymore. Additionally, despite being the same person, X and A are different entities in the Pantheon now, the latter being head of the Architecture Team, and the former as the corporation's Manager.
    • Because of the Agent shortage, L Corp had to start over from its Day 1 status (all but Malkuth's old department are closed and all Abnormalities except One Sin are sealed away) just to make sure the new Agents are properly trained to the level of the veterans L Corp still has, though every upgrade is still already unlocked. After less than 50 days however, L Corp has managed to reach full capacity once more thanks to other events that have occurred in the meantime.
    • Because all the Sephirah have departed from L Corp and have now become involved with the Library of Ruina, department heads were assigned out of the remaining veteran Agents in place of them, alongside AI simulacra of the Sephirah for announcement warnings. That said, given what the Bucket and the Well can do to the mind of a lesser being, as well as new policies for operating in the Pantheon, the new head of the Extraction Team was given orders to close up the Well in preparation for new extraction methods. Additional auxiliary branches were also founded all over the Pantheon for reasons below.
      • Speaking of the Library, Angela and Roland were surprised and concerned to see L Corp in the Pantheon already, and swiftly made their way in thanks to the former having been a part of the place. They confronted A in his office where he and X were guiding the Commander on how to do things. After setting aside the fact that X and A were separate entities, it was made clear that Angela does not forgive A for the very long list of sins that shaped her into who she is now and Roland thinks he's a complete wacko (not helped by only having heard of A through Angela herself), but for the most part they've decided to put the past behind them and go their separate ways.
    • Due to how perception works in the Pantheon, X/A and L Corp's employees look just like how they have been seen under the cognition filter set up by Angela. Despite their chibi appearance, they are as tall as the average human.
    • No, despite their name, they do not give out lobotomies. Confessionals with One Sin, however, are under consideration...
    • Lobotomy Corporation used to be a Wing (megapowerful corporation and governing authority) for the City. As a Wing, it possesses a Singularity, a form of technology that can blatantly violate the laws of physics. The one L Corp has was a means of physically manifesting the human mind, an abstract concept, and converting human emotions to physical energy (something the Library also does later on). That is how they're able to do the stuff mentioned just below this bullet.
    • Okay, so it turns out Lobotomy Corp's energy production method is a sham, and its true purpose was to create Abonrmalities rather than study them. Abnormalities are made when human beings have a wonder drug called Cogito injected into them, which are then set up for management and used to harvest Enkephalin. Lastly, abnormalities can be generated from any human being that has been sufficiently traumatized, and the source of Cogito (known as The River) flows under much of the world- Abnormalities with established lore outside the facility, such as the Black Forest trio, were borne directly from this river. However, the auxiliary branches were indeed actually supplying energy for the City..
      • Additionally, L Corp has something called Qliphoth Deterrence that suppresses Abnormalities during off-hours regardless of their threat level and whether or not they are breaching. This is why the day can be ended safely even with a lot of breaches, though this means they cannot be interacted with, and thus cannot be harvested for Enkephalin. That said, one cannot just turn it up and down however you like, which is why this only takes effect when X calls for an end of the day.
      • With the Seed of Light plan now out of the way, L Corp is now required to produce energy for real and distribute it across the Pantheon for profits. As for the Abnormalities, what they've unleashed is all they will have, and no more. X/A was also notified that any Abnormalities the Corporation has have the chance to "ascend" into deities themselves, just as the Bird trio, Laetitia, the Knight of Despair, and Nothing There have.
      • Upon hearing that some of their Abnormalities were already in the Pantheon, X/A wanted them contained as quickly as possible. Thankfully, the SCP Foundation had already been on the case, since they're doing the same thing L Corp does, but on a grander scale, and only focused on containment. And so a partnership was eventually formed.
      • This also got L Corp in the crosshairs of the Groups of Interest the SCP Foundation knew of, such as the Chaos Insurgency (who want to utilize their Abnormalities for their own ends), the Global Occult Coalition (who want all the Abnos destroyed and think L Corp is foolish to use them merely for "energy"), the Sarkic Cults (for their interest in Nothing There), and the Church of the Broken God (being opposed to the Sarkic Cults in every way, as well as believing L Corp probably has Pieces of their God in their collection).
    • New containment cells were made for the Abnormalities already in the Pantheon, though heavily modified from their usual forms back in L Corp to allow for more freedoms in accordance to Angela's wishes (though she understands the threat of Nothing There requiring its containment, and L Corp has chosen not to make its E.G.O. harvestable), as well as means to harvest their Enkephanlin, and Agents assigned to guard and work on them. It also opened the possibility of more E.G.O.s (Extermination of Geometrical Organ) being made available. Only L Corp knows how to get these manufactures, and there have since been calls to sell them to the weapons market.
      • For now, there are ways to get them at the containment cells for the ascended Abnormalities, but the "customer" has to do the work Agents do on them. Once enough PE-Boxes or NE-Boxes are acquired, the E.G.O. Weapon/Suit will manifest at a nearby designated container, after which it will be bequeathed to the customer. E.G.O. Gifts have a small chance of being automatically bequeathed by the Abnormality.
    • As with all things, it was eventually discovered that Enkephalin can be and has been used as a drug after a particularly loose-lipped Agent let that tidbit spill. And so despite its higher efficency as an energy source, Enkephalin eventually entered the narcotics market as well, and L Corp now has to deal with that too.
    • Speaking of SCP, L Corp has been considering making similar cells for the ascended SCPs. The Foundation wasn't amused with the proposition, but the Enkephalin Boxes were too good to pass up, so they agreed, but only for certainSCPs. A was also surprised that some SCPs are actually not contained (though only because it's impossible) but merely concealed from Muggles.
    • Back in their world, L Corp had a contract with Myo and the Rabbit Team for cleaning up messes the company may be unable to handle. In the Pantheon, they now have to forge new contracts, particularly from the Pantheonic Soldiers of Fortune, and they have to make sure that there will be as little Collateral Damage to property as possible (though thankfully these mercenaries usually know to avoid Agents and Clerks). That said, finding candidates available on-call is hard given there's just so much to do around the Pantheon and they might not always be available, not to mention finding mercenaries who aren't too immoral to be trusted, too moral to refuse work with L Corp, or too unprofessional to do the job efficiently. The Black Ops and the Hazardous Environment Combat Unit have also offered to get involved in cleaning up their messes, but X/A is skeptical of their capabilities given how easily they had their asses handed to them by a mere scientist in a HEV suit, though he has them on call in case of a non-WAW level Abnormality breach. The Etrain Odyssey guilds in particular have earned X/A 's interest however, given the F.O.E.s they've felled (and one Apocalypse Bird rampage they subdued on their own with a single party of 5).
    • Because it turns out that Abonrmalities come from the collective subconscious of humankind, the Phantom Thieves of Hearts are certainly not letting them exploit the Metaverse, and their allies are in full support of this. However, after hearing of A's Seed of Light project meant to cure "the disease of the mind" so prevalent within every human living in the City, their opinion on L Corp is considerably more conflicted, but the "Metaverse ban" still stands.
    • As a result of the Abnormalities they've worked with so far, the Company's opinions of certain denizens of the Pantheon vary, and their opinions on L Corp vary as well, usually in the negative.
      • Due to their experience with F-04-83 (Fairy Festival), there is wariness to be had to any fairies who show good will; from X/A's experience, there is often a catch.
      • Because of what O-01-45 (Plague Doctor) a.k.a. T-03-46 (WhiteNight) is capable of, L Corp is highly distrusting of angels, especially those of Paradiso and under YHVH. They also despise Keel Lorenz, especially due to his plans for Instrumentality involved white EVAs that reminded them of WhiteNight's Apostles (sans the Heretic). That said, they know that some angelic beings are trustworthy, as O-03-03 (One Sin and Hundreds of Good Deeds) can attest to.
      • An Agent is always assigned to keep an eye on the Little Match Girl as a precaution, due to their experiences with F-01-02 (Scorched Girl).
      • The House of Justice will not allow any cases of Boxed Crooks in L Corp or criminals being brought there for experiments, given that was how T-01-54 (Forsaken Murderer) came to be.
      • There have been considerations to help contain the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog given their experiences with D-02-107 (Ppodae), but the rabbit itself has proven more than they can regularly handle.
      • Are not disarmed by cute things, given their experiences with D-02-107 (Ppodae), T-01-68 (Funeral of the Dead Butterflies), T-05-41 (All-Around-Helper), etc.
      • Agents were also sent to keep watch on Dorothy Gale's friends, particularly the Scarecrow and Tin Woodman, given their experiences with F-01-87 (Scarecrow Searching for Wisdom) and F-05-32 (Warm-Hearted Woodsman). They also despise any who collect organs from living beings for similar reasons.
      • Dislike Queen Grimhilde for the poison apple she make for Snow White, given it became an Abnormality (F-04-42) and they had to take care of it.
      • Are opposed by the Magical Girl Sisterhood for their containment of at least three (or four) of their kind, even if the MGs have lost their way. The Puella Magi in particular are cautious lest they be contained if they ever become Witches, and Homura occasionally takes time to attack L Corp Agents whenever they cross her path.
      • Something about Steven Universe's breakdown reminded them of O-01-04 (The Queen of Hatred) given his need to help and his near-loss of sanity when it felt like he no longer had a purpose. They don't intend to contain him of course; bringing down the collective wrath of the Crystal Gems and the Diamond Authority would not be productive for anybody.
      • Dislike Brown Note-capable entities given their experience with T-01-31 (The Silent Orchestra).
      • Distrust all slime entities given the dangers of D-03-109 (Melting Love).
    • Given how he's supposed to remain locked up as much as possible, L Corp is entertaining the idea of harvesting "Enkephalin" from Tirek if possible. Surprisingly, it was eventually approved, to the centaur's annoyance, since this means more guards. And they've been forewarned not to being their E.G.O.s in case he could drain them of magic, but one negligent Agent proved that E.G.O.s were not magical after Tirek tried feeding on one, only to get nothing from it. There is also extra security in case Chrysalis, Mard Geer, or Moro try to seize any Agents while visiting Tirek.
    • Due to his world's experiences with Argent Energy, and hearing that a different Wing from L Corp's home realm was also exploiting Hell, the Doom Slayer instantly distrusts L Corp by default, though will try not to kill Agents assisting in quelling demons.
    • Mike and Sully find this L Corp to be a horrifying reverse version of what Monsters Inc. does (harvesting from humans to power their society, and sending employees to scare children at night under Waternoose's time, but eventually changing to making them laugh under Sully's management).
    • Naturally, as a place full of Abnormalities (minus the already-ascended), L Corp has its share of enemies who would want to exploit the company.
      • Given their research and experiments, it's likely that certain individuals such as Lt. Col. Arnold Berkman would be interested in "obtaining" their secrets or samples of their research. Berkman himself had been tasked with investigating witches and magic back during his time working for the Germanian Empire, and was even able to help develop wonderweapons using Hexenium, or crystallized magical energy.
      • For that matter, Johann Schmidt and HYDRA, particularly their MCU variants, have also had quite the interest in the paranormal, supernatural, and myths. They went so far as to exploit one such myth, the Tesseract, and used it to develop methods into winning World War II in their favor. They'd very likely want to take advantage of L Corp as well should they get the chance.
    • The Bedtime Stories Crew is also interested in the company, though only as a topic for one of their videos, given their specialty in covering mysteries of different kinds.

  • Exclusive to X and/or A:
    • Both X and A have found it rather strange to be separate entities despite being the same person, but the explanation for why is this; A's memories are up to when he decided to wipe them to become X. X not only has all of A's memories, but those of his 50(+) days managing the corporation in accordance to the Seed of Light plan, not to mention potentially regarding his Agents' lives with more value than A ever would (even if some could be lost anyway).
    • Due to being a mostly blank slate, there is a connection between (Insert Name Here) and X, who has manifested as them before L Corp's ascension, despite X being a formery amnesiac A, who in turn is his own distinct person. And in anticipation of any more incidents that may distract X whenever someone decides to visit him personally, INH and the Commander have been invited on occasion for emergency substitute work. The Tactician has also been considered, but while keeping all Agents alive was possible, the inevitable deaths of Clerks is sometimes maddening to him/her (if s/he isn't giving them the "green unit" treatment), and s/he's not as adept to real-time management.
    • As the Manager, X has access to special bullets that he can authorize the use of in order to manage the day. They come in Healing, Shield, Slow, and Execution variants, though it only works within the facility, since they're shot through the facility's ceilings. Additionally, the TimeTrack2 protocol can no longer turn back time, only pause it or speed it up (in X's perspective). And given the likes of the Dahaka around, that's a good thing, because as a company, it cannot run.
    • Whenever the Goose shows up, he's immediately getting an Execution Bullet. X is not taking chances, Not after last time.
    • Because of everything he's done in order to accomplish his plans, A does not go out much and rarely leaves his department. All the sins he's committed to achieve his goals would certainly earn him a lot of enemies, and it would be... very inconvenient for him (an any escorts he takes). As for what those sins are, they are as follows:
      • It started with Enoch, a child that he and his old partner Carmen picked from the outskirts. When the boy wanted to be offed within Carmen's laboratory, and volunteered for her Sephirah experiment despite her objection, A gave the go-ahead, and Enoch's partner Lisa cursed Carmen for it. Because of that guilt, Carmen offed herself by slitting her wrists in a bathtub, and A extracted her brain stem and placed it in a giant jar while she was still conscious and used her brain mapping to create Angela, part of this due to the facility wanted to use her for Cogito anyway. And things became worse as he took full control of the facility; one of his employees, Elijah took a dose of Cogito that wasn't even ready for human use as an unauthorized experiment, and he didn't bother batting an eye as she lay on the ground suffering from a slow and painful death. This was also his exact reaction when Gabriel became insane and clawed himself to death after seeing Elijah's fate.
      • Next up, Giovanni, one of Carmen's friends, came to L Corp in hopes of reviving Carmen by participating in A's Cogito experiments, and A blatantly lied to him that the Cogito experiments could revive Carmen (an impossible fate) and overdosed him to death with the Cogito. He also probably ordered Angela to kill Benjamin (his best friend) for him as a part of his 50-day loop playbooks that he repeats until he can complete Carmen's goal..
      • Lastly, there's his treatment of Angela herself, who he barely even treated as if she was a person and largely ignored her. The only time A ever interacted with Angela in earnest is when his memories were washed in the sands of time and he was assuming the identity of X, and by then he already instructed Angela to enable the endless amount of atrocities occurring in the company for him. He also used an unknown tech to make sure she never forgets anything she sees and make sure she suffers as much as possible from perceiving time 100 times slower in a facility where time is already flowing slower than usual. He doesn't even bother giving her a proper conclusion by the end of the loop, giving her enough fuel to start a Phlebotinum Rebellion against him for earnest, leading to the events of Library of Ruina.
      • Library of Ruina then reveals a few more skeletons in his closet such as the fact that the "Welfare Team Massacre" that Angela instigated was a management order by A, proving he has gone so far off that he was willing to order his right-hand to deliberately release a dangerous Abnormality for more energy, even when deaths are in an all time low.
      • Additionally, it turns out that his Seed of Light plan would've been a fruitless endeavor anyway had Angela not decided to intervene, for even if the Seed of Light had gone off without a hitch then, while it would be an inconvenience to The Head for a while, it's effects would ultimately have been integrated into the City's cycle, ultimately changing nothing (or even causing mass, unbridled chaos instead of anything he envisioned, for the resultant sheer number of Distortions wrecking through the City would easily turn into mass destruction, not helping that every other person in the City can easily Distort by the slightest push of a button). This revelation has prompted A into lessening his loathing for Angela somewhat.
    • As someone who's done countless atrocities in the name of a Good goal, he's gotten the attention of similar (or Not So Similar) folks and those who judge such. As far as everyone's concerned, there are three kinds of those people; those who merely use it as an excuse, those who are delusional in that belief, and those who truly believe in that cause.
      • As a case of the second, The Maker/Earth-1610 Reed Richards says he wants to make the world a better place, but it's all out of ego. He's very much a villain and the most dangerous in the Marvel multiverse, but he could potentially be a great help to L Corp if he weren't so egotistical. Still, no plans are made to meet him due to his infamy.
      • A Despises Lex Luthor for using the "greater good" as an excuse for his vendetta against Superman and all his other atrocities. The fact that he and the Maker are allies doesn't help.

  • Exclusive to the Agents and Clerks:
    • In case you're wondering where the Agents bunked in after work hours, the company has facilities to take care of all living needs. It’s like a dorm. That continues even now in the Pantheon, though with much better amenities.
    • As for how they're hired to L Corp in the first place, it's a matter of "trauma" (specs, background, or gender do not matter); the kind of reaction they show when coming into contact with abnormalities (shaking in fear or causing other employees to panic) is also important. All that is known is that “there is a process to filter out the people they need”, and the most important out of that would be if the individual has his/her own “trauma”.
      • Despite that, Ted the Generic Guy has found himself employed in L Corp a few times despite lacking much "trauma" due to being, well, generic. He only makes it as a Clerk, and usually doesn't last long.
    • Given what's revealed about Agents by Hokma (can be revived by the Records Department clean of memories of their work in the company), L Corp can theoretically have thousands of Agents all originally from their home dimension without recruiting from there in order to maintain world order. And with the company now having to reach all over the Pantheon, they are easily one of the most numerable deity collecitves that isn't an army. And given their equipment, they can feasibly be an army in their own right if they were weren't busy suppressing Abnormalities. For now, the maxmimum number of Agents awakened is twice the maximum number able to work in the main company itself (50 x 2 is 100) plus the necessary minimum number of Agents needed to watch over each Abnormality that's already ascended (which can easily change when more Abnormalities ascend). As for why twice, it's to account for shifts, off days, sick days, worker union standards, and times when Agents have to do things for L Corp that aren't Abnormality Suppressions.
    • Agents are "calculated" by four Virtues: Fortitude (better stamina), Prudence (better mental strength), Temperance (success in doing work), and Justice (attack and movement speed). They improve these by working on Abnromalities. As one can see from what the Agents wear and wield and how they look, it's because of their E.G.O. (Extermination of Geometrical Organ) Weapons and Suits. They are forged using "archetypes" extracted from Abnormalities, which is done with enough observation. Unlike every other deity in the Pantheon, Agents keep all their E.G.O.s (Weapons, Suits, and Gifts) even after death, which is a sort-of good thing, as their E.G.O.s are heavily coveted by numerous parties who won't hesitate to commit murder. For the record, wing E.G.O.s do not enable Agents to fly.
    • Due to the multitude of E.G.O. weapons they wield, Agents occasionally get assigned to various deities in the House of Weapons, or Byleth Eisner (when it's sword, axes, spears, or gauntlets). While E.G.O.s weapons render their holders Instant Experts in their use, genuine experience with the weapon type would grant better power from the E.G.O. Weapon, as was the case with Gebura.
    • Due to how horrible life was in the City and its surrounding areas before they were hired by L Corp, they find the Pantheon to be a much better place, despite its own dangers, and are genrally inclined to oppose any who would bring oppression given that's what they managed to escape from by ascending, such as Big Brother, O’Brien, and The Libertines.
    • Given that at least some of them have been subject to them prior to employment, and due to having faced them as Ordeals, they instantly oppose Sweepers at every turn and (if strong enough) won't hesitate to suppress them at every turn when possible.
    • There have been talks of using robots to work with Abnormalities in place of employees, but that's now an issue as well since machines are people too in the Pantheon. That said, Abnormalities can create more energy through killing people and not robots, so that plan is out the window already. And since Death Is Cheap in the Pantheon anyway...
    • Agents' usual tactic for suppression is to "deathball" the target by rushing at it like a mob and swinging/firing their weapons until it dies. This has served them well against Abnormalities, but there are tougher and smarter foes in the Pantheon, and so better methods have to be sought out in terms of strategies.

Linking the Sephirot/Librarians draft here since I got nothing in the way of feedback.

Here, a rundown for some.

Malkuth: Was a clumsy girl in life and was desperate to have her feats noticed and her recklessness got her killed. She soon learned to not be so dependant on other people and stand on her own. Passionate, hard-working, and quite cheerful for the most part. She also mentions a dream of becoming an architect one day.

Yesod: Organized, serious, and logic-driven, but also tried to detach himself from emoting at all. Thus, he eventually learned to express himself while still maintaining discretion. He's also a Neat Freak, but it was much more serious in his past life as it became an obsession after Elijah (Malkuth's original self) died.

Hod: A young timid girl who broke under pressure and ratted about what was happening within her group following the deaths of some of the researchers. She ended up getting the rest of her cooworkers killed and hung herself from the guilt. As Hod, the helpful Nice Girl had Secretly Selfish undertones but learned to be more genuine about her actions. Not only kind, but also very empathetic. Also runs a book meetup with her assistants.

Netzach: Leapt at the chance to sacrifice himself to save a dear friend, but it ended up being all for nothing. Hated his job in L Corp and tried to overdose himself just so he could stop but after that failed he began to hold onto hope and gained the courage to keep on living. He's lazy, drinks a lot, and has aspirations of becoming an artist.

All my fault, you say...? What fault? I daresay it's all thanks to me.

Good morning one and all! I was wondering since December is now here and Christmas is on its way if it is alright if I rework one of the holiday's more fascinating characters?

The character? Ebenezer Scrooge. The Trope? True Meaning of Christmas.

Reason: When we first meet Ebenezer Scrooge, he's not exactly in the best of places. A crouchy old moneylender who hates the Christmas season as much as he loves making cash. Then he's visited by the ghost of his old business partner Jacob Marley, along with the three Ghosts of Christmas. Not only does he relive his tragic past but comes to learn that Christmas means more than spending money on gifts or making personal gain. It's about sharing and spreading joy and happiness to others. Yes, there's plenty of other meanings for Christmas but this is one of the premier examples of it.

[up][up][up]The only decent images I've found of the Five Maidens are those made by the artist blaqueandstuff, which can be seen on their deviantart page and their tumblr page.

I've also taken the liberty of uploading an image of them, I considered uploading the image with standing horizontally, but I'm not sure how well such an image would look. Thoughts?

Very quick draft for Beat's rework.

A laid-back youth who enjoys his freedom, Beat skates through Tokyo-to tagging graffiti alongside The GG's and going up against rival gangs in such activities. He also had to fight against the corrupt Rokkaku corporation whose leader wanted to take over the world via some sort of demonic means (though apparently the CEO in question was merely just overtaken by greed and the item needed to summon a demon wasn't real).

Looking for suggestions on what else to add/fix for interactions.

  • Welcome to Tokyo-to, a city where street gangs battle each other for turf via rollerblades and spraying graffiti at designated locations all while evading the authorities. The GG’s, lead by Beat and formed by him after unsuccessfully trying to join other gangs, is one such gang who takes part in such activities, which are under attack by megacorporation Rokkaku, whose leader seeks to control the world via supposedly demonic means. With Tokyo-to in danger, Beat and his gang traverse the city to make a name for themselves and stop Rokkaku from taking over the world. Beat himself is a laid-back rudie (a term given to those who skate and tag graffiti) who enjoys this activity regardless of the dangers of him being targeted by law enforcement.
  • It was yet another peaceful day in the Pantheon and what followed didn’t do anything to severely upend how things operated in that world, but it still annoyed those who wanted things to be enforced with extreme prejudice just enough that something had to be done about it. It started in some large cities in the Pantheon where various denizens were walking amid weirdly designed graffiti at different places. While some weren’t too bothered by it (at worst they were just slightly annoyed), others wanted whoever was responsible caught after more graffiti sharing similar traits to the earlier examples showed up in different parts of the city. When nighttime came, some officers were patrolling the city looking for the perpetrator, only to discover a youth with rollerblades and a graffiti can tagging a building. What followed was a chase where the rudie was able to evade them through his movement and a few tricks to throw those officers off their feet. Beat was able to get away from those officers, though it wouldn’t be the only time he’d get into conflict with them as he took notice of how vast the cities in the Pantheon are and figured that it’d be a fun place to explore.
  • Whenever he and his gang aren’t busy going around various cities in the Pantheon and tagging them with his graffiti, Beat can be seen hanging out with Sonic the Hedgehog as the two enjoy their freedom and care little for any trivialities that head their way. Sonic has even invited Beat over to participate in recreational activities alongside other SEGA characters that included tennis and racing (Beat himself didn’t mind the fact that he had to use a car for these races instead of skating on foot). Beat even had the time to get involved with Aiai’s complex obstacle courses inside a ball, though he seems curious about going through such strangely designed courses via skating on them instead of encasing himself inside a ball. On the subject of hanging out with other SEGA characters, Shadow the Hedgehog using hover skates while on foot got Beat’s attention partially since Shadow is able to move at speeds comparable to Sonic while running.

@ The Wikia Editor: We're permitting fan art in lieu of no official art existing? Hmm...I'll just ask the original artist if that's OK for me to use theirs. I have a request: could you please make them a group image of Mercury and Venus on the top row followed by Mars, Jupiter and Saturn on the bottom row. I'm just a bit concerned though that the Venus image is too revealing for the pantheon

[up] Rule of advice; if you can't find a decent image of a group, take matters into your own hands.

Simply put, just use create a collage and compile whatever images you can find.

My preferred site/app of choice regarding collages is FotoJet.

@Wikia - Sorry, but I'm gonna have to give a [tdown] to your collage. It's structuring just wouldn't translate well into the site and it would look more proportionate if it was two above, three below as the collage structure, given that there are five characters from what I see.

[up]Well, I figured the pictures would be bigger and more noticable if sorted vertically, but I get why it wouldn't look particularly well on the site, anyway, I've improved it now. Also, [tup] for the trio.

[up][up]I've done as you requested, here's the image.

Fan-art is generally allowed if the official sources are lacking, so you should be fine.
