Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

What more could I say about Rhaenys and Lyanna specifically

King Aegon Targaryen, The First of His Name, Queen Visenya Targaryen and Queen Rhaenys Targaryen, Holy Valyrian Triumvirate of Creating Kingdoms and Dynasties (Aegon: Aegon the Conqueror, Aegon the Dragon, Aegon the Dragonlord; Visenya: Queen Visenya, Dowager Queen; Rhaenys: Queen Rhaenys)

  • Complicated relationship with: Maegor I Targaryen (son of Aegon and Visenya)
  • Special relationship: The rest of House Targaryen; ascended members includenote , Daeron II "the Good", Maester Aemon, Aerys II "the Mad King", Daenerys (Aegon and Rhaneys' descendants), Daemon I Blackfyre, Robert and Stannis Baratheon, Oberyn Martell, Jon Snow (non-Targaryen descendants)

  • Wary of: The Dovahkiin (all three)
  • Respected by: Grunbeld (in a Worthy Opponent way), Smaug
  • Annoyed by: Squidward Tentacles (Rhaenys)
  • Almost three centuries before the Song of Ice And Fire and a new Game of Thrones, Aegon the Conqueror and his sister-wives Visenya and Rhaenys had arrived. Marrying the former for duty and the latter for love, they were descendants of Valyrians that escaped the Doom of Valyria with at least three big, bad dragons on their side. They would conquer all but one of the Seven Kingdoms, which would eventually be incorporated through a marriage, and Aegon would rule with wisdom and tact in spite of his bloody conquest.
  • Applies to the lot
    • The sounds of three dragons roaring overhead made Daenerys Targaryen - who was holding court inside her temple - pause. She knows her children by sound. While they are dragons, they are not her 'children'. Upon exiting her temple, she discovers her dragons playing with three more dragons overhead. The three newcomers break away from Dany's dragons, and land in front of her. Perched on their backs are a single man and two women. In reverence, Dany takes a knee, and for good reason. They are of the Dragon, but in an entirely different league than her. Aegon the Conqueror and his sister-wives, Visenya and Rhaenys, has come to the Pantheon.
    • Robert and Stannis were deeply conflicted over the arrival of the original Targaryen royals, as while they have a lot of bad blood with the dragons they are still descendants of the conqueror and ultimately everyone who sat on the Iron Throne. Pretty much the only thing that can stop the different nobles from squabbling amongst themselves, even if it's just for a short moment, is Aegon and his sister-wives raising their voices. As of now they have a larger concern than who sits on the Iron Throne, as Jon Snow and the Night's Watch have proven Aegon's dream right; that winter is coming, and it has a name; the Night's King. On a lighter note the Conqueror prefers Stannis out of the Baratheon brothers, however admits that Robert is much better at making friends. Also he's disturbed by Stannis sacrificing his daughter, though this was a TV exclusive event he sorely regrets.
      • Despite being one of the best Targaryen kings, Aegon's sons are pretty bad. Aenys was kind and friendly, but almost spineless and too willing to please. He had to rely on his half-brother Maegor's martial practices, and as he would prove to be a usurping, violent SOB. Despite this Aegon and Visenya still love him, but they are both disappointed he could be one of the most evil people in Westerosi history. Rhaenys just straight up hates him for how he undermined and hurt the family. Maegor took this as a lesson, but unfortunately that lesson was that he wasn't being ENOUGH of a harsh bastard.
      • The Conqueror has been the namesake of some solid kings like Aegon V the Unlikely (or "Egg" as Aemon knew him) but also some embarrassments like Aegon IV the Unworthy. The sibling team has no idea how such a hedonistic asshole came from the loins of the consummately professional Viserys II, only for the Unworthy to go "you better not be implying what I know about Daeron the so-called Good". Aegon I rolled his eyes as while he wishes Daeron was more martially inclined like Daemon Blackfyre, he knows how to rule with intelligence and compassion when warranted. He'll stay out of any arguments on whether House Blackfyre is justified or not; it'd be pretty hypocritical to dismiss rule through right of conquest, after all.
      • Having witnessed the burgeoning psychopathy within their own son, Aegon and Visenya are more likely to pity the broken mind of Aerys II Targaryen despite their embarrassment and shame at all the things he's done. They feel that Rhaegar should've taken the initiative and forced Aerys to abdicate. That said, none of the founding Targaryens were all that proud of how he absconded with Lyanna; they aren't against the idea in principle, just how he went about it. Otherwise they think he would've made a fine king. Of the three, Rhaenys sees the most of her in him.
      • While Daenerys has no problem with Oberyn Martell, Aegon and his sister-wives do not trust him. Given how she had died whilst fighting the Dornish, that's a given. But when Oberyn tells them the story of Elia and her children, and of their violent deaths (including her namesake), it makes Rhaenys at least pause. Aegon admits he has a prejudice against the Dorne for their guerilla tactics culminating in the death of Rhaenys, along with a note from the ruling Dornish prince who's contents are secret but distressing to Aegon. However he would make peace with Dorne in his lifetime, and they were surprised to see that it was a marriage between Targaryen and Martell that united them.
    • Many at least initially saw Aegon and his sister-wives marriage as Squick, and indeed a lot of conflict with the Faith of the Seven was due to the incest taboo. In their defense it's a Valyrian norm and their bonds are genuine. It might be projection, but this is why they show compassion to Haruka and Sora Kasugano's twincestuous dynamic. Helping their case was Frollo publicly condemning their relationship and descendants as an abomination. If there's anyone Aegon lets his psychopath son Maegor let loose against, it's him. Also, it's worth noting that despite all their incest the Valyrians never even considered Parental Incest.
    • If there is one thing that brings a smile to their face, it's dragons. And once they found out there was a House of Dragons, that was their first place they set shop. Aegon was quick to give deference and respect to Io, being the progenitor of all dragons, along with Bahamut for representing good-aligned dragons. That said, it's hard to say the three have a favorite dragon, or more accurately second favorite as one of the conditions for their ascension was that their canonical mounts must enter as heralds. Caim and Angelus were also a Dragon Rider pair after their own heart. Another duo of man and dragon the trio adores is Hiccup and Toothless. Through their friendship the dynamic between human and dragon was permanently improved.
    • Their love of dragons mean they had a bad impression of the Dovahkiin and were thankful he wasn't present during his campaign of conquering Westeros, otherwise they would be short three dragons. Thankfully, the Dovahkiin attacks only evil dragons or those who rampage through town. There are many wicked dragons who refuse to pay any fealty to the trio; the Dark Dragon despises them as he believes dragons should serve no mere human and are humiliated in doing so..so they should submit to him instead. Acnologia despises dragons, Grima and Maelfor want to burn them all and Alduin is a terrible, hubristic Draconic Abomination who seeks to remove Targaryens from their seat and take control of their dragons. That said, he thinks Aegon and Visenya are good parents because he has a soft spot for their son Maegor for how he puts down rebellions and his enemies. The two wondered where they went wrong with their son.
    • A number of Dragon-type Pokémon also are looked on really fondly by the trio. They really like the Tao trio as they are also a dragon trio that was once one being, who aided in the foundation of ancient Unova. Another favorite is Daenaerys' partner Hydreigon, perhaps the most literal any Pokémon gets to embodying the Targaryen sigil. It's also worth noting that while a lot of evil dragons don't get along with the trio, Smaug actually respects them even if the feeling isn't mutual. So long as they do not try to ride him or steal from him Smaug will consider the three quite impressive for human beings, though he comments "your should not embarrass themselves".
    • Grunbeld has a lot of respect for Aegon and Visenya. Being able to transform into a unique, crystalline dragon is something the Targaryen founders were impressed by along with his martial skill. Griffith was at least publicly impressed by Aegon and his sister-wives too, as he also sought to and succeeded to make a kingdom. The Conqueror recognizes Griffith's charisma and genuine skill at leadership, however he can sense that there is something seriously wrong about him and can't shake of the feeling whatever his endgame is isn't something he wants. Griffith only mused that he feels at his heart, Aegon isn't fundamentally different, but it all depends on who's writing the history books that divides them.
    • As previously suggested, examination into the buildup and result of "the Dance of the Dragons" show Aegon had dreamed of the Long Night and this was at least part of his motive to conquer Westeros. Because of this, he has his attention set to thwarting the Night's King and his sister-wives plan to aid not just in that, but to thwart whatever beings threaten an Endless Winter on the land. A similar being, Arthas Menethil, is someone who Aegon takes personal as an enemy because he can see some of himself and Maegor in the guy. And he definitely sees the Scourge as a fearsome analogue to the Wights.
    • Having learned that obsidian and dragon-glass are the same thing, Rhaenys has asked for aid from the Smoking Mirror as he sees the omnicidal as enemies too. However they know he's a tricky and underhanded Aztec god, so it's not really an alliance and more I "here's a favor" kind of situation. Tezcatlipoca also might just want to show off to Quetzacoatl he got to them first.
    • It is theorized that were they actually historical, they would've more than deserved a place as Heroic Spirits. The three are interested in Earth's historical kings and conquerors, and the three have a liking to Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar. Like Alexander, a key part in the good parts of their reign was learning and adapting to a foreign culture. Like Caesar, they gave pardon and clemency when necessary. And like both, they were excellent tacticians. Augustus is another friend of theirs, noting his effectiveness in both gaining and retaining power. On a lesser note they like how Zuko grew into his own and rose far beyond his father, whom they despise for symbolizing every bad thing about them and their bloodline with none of the positives.
  • Applies to Aegon the Conqueror
    • English deities have compared Aegon the Conqueror to the Norman conqueror King William I. Both are known as "The Conqueror" as they are foreign-born conquerors of a nation that were effective administrators and ancestors to all future monarchsnote . He is by no means the only Targaryen to take influence off English monarchs, as King Henry VIII was an inspiration for Maegor and Aegon IV. Not something he's proud of, and Aegon wasn't impressed by the Tudor king even if Henry respected him. Also, while they have little in common the Conqueror has respect for George Washington, one of the Founding Fathers of the USA. Namely, that he was also just as competent as president if not more so than he was a military commander. Washington was impressed by the Conqueror, though publicly doesn't bring him up much to avoid unwarranted whispers of "monarchy".
    • Has a liking for Arthur Pendragon and his Spear Counterpart Artoria, the mythical great king. The three mused over leadership styles, and Aegon had to admit that Excalibur was a better sword than his Blackfyre...but he still insists his is cooler. Aegon also mused that they also had a troublesome relationship with their and their half-sister's child, Mordred. Though the original and especially the Fate incarnation see Maegor as a psychopath, Aegon still sees similarities between his Black Sheep and them; namely their usurper traits and belief they should be recognized as the heir. He is more sympathetic towards "Moedred" but refuses to take sides in their squabbles. Personally, Aegon doesn't get where the angst of their conception comes from.
    • People have complained how uncomfortable the Iron Throne is, that it is an unwieldly monstrosity forged from swords via Balerion's dragonfire and has barbs causing nicks and cuts. Aegon's response? "That's the point; a king should never sit easy". The Conqueror has no patience for royal and spoiled brats like Prince Charmless or his descendant Aegon the Unworthy. And while he will accept being called a Benevolent Dictator at least, he has no patience for tyrants like Frieza and Palpatine since they know to use force and fear, but have no interest in giving clemency or just reward to their subjects. Both despots are more cynical in believing that Aegon is merely practicing Pragmatic Villainy and is as interested in power for its own sake as they are. The latter does at least commend his talent, as Aegon begrudgingly admits he's brilliant.
    • Though the King of Nehekhara is affable with all three Targaryens, Settra and Aegon hold a mutual respect that led to them trying to establish a strong relationship. Similarly, Aegon commends Settra for his implacable determination and for being able to unite a socially divided landscape into a singular kingdom like how Aegon did with dragons. The two often import trades and engineer weapons for each other out of goodwill. Further diplomatic relationships were brokered with Oda Nobunaga, who like him united various different factions and states of a nation through conquest. Another monarch Aegon is fond of is the King of Feredin, Alistair Theirin, who reminds Aegon of his friend/half-brother Orys. He's an effective monarch, and Aegon was intrigued to learn he too had dragon blood. Alistair would prefer keeping the fact this is due to his ancestor drinking dragon blood on the down low.
  • Applies to Visenya
    • Visenya is said to have a dark and unforgiving side to her. Even her husband and fellow sister-wife said that she was "stern, serious and unforgiving." The House of Family has Visenya under scrutiny due to the actions of her son, Maegor the Cruel, and the rumor that she poisoned her nephew Aenys in order to pave the way for her son to become king. She's decided to keep away from the more evil matriarch types, which critics have seen as deflecting attention from herself and fans think is evidence of her innocence. While Sophitia Alexandra is slightly wary around Visenya, she does respect Visenya's skills with a blade.
    • Though leagues better than her son the fact she was supportive of his usurpation and reign have led some to argue she should be considered Lawful Evil. However, others have argued it's a case of Even Evil Can Be Loved and (at least publically) Visenya blames teaching him some lessons too well. Critics believe that her opposition to Lady Tremaine and Ragyo Kiryuin is to dissuade critique she was a Wicked Stepmother to Aenys and an Evil Matriarch, though if said critique is accepted one could argue her opposition is a case of Even Evil Has Standards. Ragyo is a disgustingly abusive mother which certainly can't be said for Visenya. And she finds Tremaine an insufferable social climber who treats her biological daughters with almost as much emotional uncaring as she does her step-daughter.
    • It's also pointed out that there are rumors she is a sorceress who practiced in dark magic, with rumors that Maegor's conception involved this (possibly explaining why he could only conceive stillborn monstrosities). Both Triss Merigold and Yennefer of Vengerberg decide to look into the matter. And if the rumors were indeed true, then they will extend an invite to Visenya to join the Pantheon's Lodge of Sorceress. Tharja was intrigued by her as well, as was Jafar; admittedly the latter is more interested in her dark, power-hungry side. She takes no mind to him, especially the bad PR brought on by her son's actions.
    • As she is usually seen with Dark Sister, it's clear that Visenya is the warrior woman of the two sisters. So much so that she spends her time honing her skills at the Hall of Bladed Weapons. It's through her swordplay, that she became friends with Ciri Riannon. Both are warrior women and both are rulers in their own right...although Visenya had to admit that she, Rhaenys and Aegon got it easy with just conquering Westeros; Ciri is an Empress. Both Tyris Flare and Casca have also caught her eye in a good way for being strong and intelligent warrior women; the latter was also happy to learn that she and her siblings were fighting the good fight against Griffith.
  • Applies to Rhaenys
    • It was rumored that Rhaenys messed around with other bed-mates. Rhaenys denied the allegations, but the rumors persist, much to her dismay. Some speculate Aegon's biggest secret was he was sterile, so allowed her to find someone to "make an heir"note . Being Aphrodite she doesn't see a problem with this, and prefers her over Visenya because Aegon married her for love instead of duty. While the Conqueror is fine with her being a flirt, expect dragonfire if you spread damning rumors about Aenys. Rhaenys does admit she wished she lived long enough to give Aenys more of a spine.
    • As Rhaenys loves music and poetry, she's a patron of the House of Theatre and Spectacle. William Shakespeare found himself another admirer, as Rhaenys finds herself drawn to his plays and poetry; it's this subject that has led her to bond with her descendant Rhaegar more so than Aegon or Visneya have. She's interested in the songs of the Miser Brothers partly because of their nature as embodiments of cold and hot weather..or ice and fire. And given the strange seasons of Westeros, it might be worthwhile to learn more about them. She's a big fan of the House of Musicality and has used her power to get front row seat to listen to the singers and performers...except Courtney Gears. She's a monster who wants to destroy all organic life, after all.
    • She personally despises the Vogons, as not only are they uncaring bureaucrats who let an entire planet be destroyed because of said bureaucracy, but their poetry counts as psychological torture. On Rhaenys' shitlist is Terrence Fletcher and Zapp Brannigan. The latter tried to seduce her with a sexist and godawful ballad, along with already repulsing her because his awful track record as a general offends her and her family. The former is awful to those under his study. On a much less serious note she's annoyed by Squidward insisting that he deserves a place in the court with his clarinet playing, which made her think an animal was dying.
    • The most surprising thing about Rhaenys is that she is friends with Snow White. The wife of the Big Bad Wolf friends with the Blood of the Dragon. Snow's children love to hear Rhaenys's stories about dragons, and Rhaenys can honestly admit that Snow can handle herself in a fight.
    • The least elitist of the trio, Rhaenys was genuinely concerned with the smallfolk and would help push reforms like banning the raiding of the Ironborn for women and limiting the number of blows a husband could strike to six. Her granddaughter Queen Alysanne would ban the right of the first night. It's for this reason she has a mostly love-hate relationship with Empress Nero. Despite her flaws at leadership she was always concerned first with the common folk, however Rhaenys considers her music and poetry unbearable and isn't fond of her arrogance. Of course, her critics find the idea of a Targaryen complaining about ego hypocritical.

  • How many lives were lost because of Rhaegar and Lyanna. The son of the Mad King was by all accounts a worthy future king; intelligent, thoughtful, charismatic and romantic. However his eye was on one Lyanna Stark, who he crowned his queen of love and beauty in a tourney. Lyanna was known by her family as the She-Wolf, a Passionate Sports Girl and Spirited Young Lady that was far from the image her betrothed Robert Baratheon thought. Rhaegar would abduct her, leading to her brother Brandon confronting Aerys about it and his father Rickard followed to sort the issue out. In short, Aerys chose violence to deal with this. Add in Robert wanting to rescue Lyanna and you have a recipe for a civil war; Robert's Rebellion. The result was the kingslaying of Aerys, death of Rhaegar in combat against Robert, Lyanna's death in "a bed of blood" and the Targaryen dynasty ending with a new Baratheon one being formed. And thousands high and lowborn dead because of Robert's Rebellion.
    • The official story by Robert Baratheon is that Rhaegar was a villain that abducted and raped Lyanna, however most doubt the story since everyone who knew Rhaegar knows he was not the kind of person to do that. There are hints that this was in fact an elopement in the form of abduction, leading to one of the most well-known theories in the ASOIAF fandom; R+L=J. That being that rather than being Ned's bastard, Jon Snow was the secret son of Rhaegar and Lyanna's passion and a potential heir to the Iron Throne. Knowing how Robert hated Targaryens, Ned tainted his honor to hide him. The TV adaptation confirmed this as fact, and while the books have yet to confirm it it's highly likely to be true there considering the guys at the head of the TV show had to guess the identity of Jon Snow's mother correctly to get George RR Martin's blessing.
  • Applies to both
    • For the numerous Westerosi deities, the ascension of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark was a momentous occasion. Some were joyous, some were angry, some felt validated and many were critical of their actions. The first to approach them was Oberyn, who slugged the prince in the face for his stupid, selfish decisions and spurning his sister Elia; he outright said that if Rhaegar hadn't absconded with Lyanna his sister would still be alive. To his credit the Dragon Prince said the Red Viper has every reason to be mad with him and though his heart hasn't changed, he realizes he made a mistake. That said, it's much less known what Elia's perspective on what happened is, given she wouldn't live to give an answer. Many others wanted their own confrontation with the two.
      • Robert Baratheon's reaction to Rhaegar's return was one of ABSOLUTE ANGER, fueled more by the shocking revelation that his friend Ned had been deceptive with their child and that Lyanna loved Rhaegar. Lyanna defended Rhaegar by pointing out that Robert was Loving a Shadow and she was never fond of him since he would've been unfaithful and mercurial anyway. In addition, as king Robert would become morally lazy, even guilty of rape as Cersei can attest to. Robert was speechless and wailed that everything he stood for was a lie, only for his brother Stannis to comfort him. The ever-dutiful Stannis has pointed out that for all her virtues Lyanna was a Hypocrite since she knowingly eloped for a married man and that what they did was just plain stupid. He doesn't fault her not liking Robert, but this isn't one-sided. Though more despondent than before and still trying to come to terms with the near-pointlessness of the rebellion, Robert has tried to improve himself by going to the gym and being less hedonistic both to live more to Stannis' standards as a thank you for his emotional support, and to prove Rhaegar wrong about him.
      • Being Lyanna's brother and Robert's closest friend, Eddard Stark felt it was only right to try and find some peaceful resolution between the three. Robert has promised that in spite of his hatred for Targaryens he will not allow harm to come to Jon Snow, saying "fuck whatever dragon is in his blood; he's a Stark and he's yours", and that to not hurt his friend he will try to grow out of his one-sided love for Lyanna. This is honestly close to how Jon Snow himself feels; he still feels Ned Stark is his real father, and while he does want to learn more about his bio-parents he is critical of their actions. The two are nothing but proud of him and his accomplishments, and can only wish the circumstances of his conception were not so tragic and violent. Catelyn was ashamed to realized she had been cruel to Jon for something that never happened and wants to make amends to him. That said, she remains critical towards Jon's bio-parents for their foolish decisions and she's bitter that Ned never trusted her with the truth. Ned angrily pointed out even if he did cheat she shouldn't have been nasty to Jon, which she's conceded.
      • Rhaegar has a difficult relationship with his progenitors. His father, the Mad King, is envious of how loved he is and fears that he wanted to usurp the throne. Rhaegar countered by saying that he'd only do so because Aerys is too unstable to rule..that said they were able to bond slightly over anger of the fate of the innocents in their family. His ancestors Daeron the Good and Aegon the Conqueror weren't impressed by his actions with Lyanna, though the former does like his bookish, thoughtful nature and they believe he had potential for being a great king like his great-grandfather Aegon V. Aegon the Unworthy thought that Rhaegar had every right to do what he did...which only made Rhaegar agree more with the Conqueror and the Good.
      • Upon finding out from Dany, Tyrion Lannister was seen laughing his ass off in schadenfreud-tastic hilarity over the fact that Eddard Stark, of all people, was able to keep the secret of Jon's heritage for 17 years, fooling the major players in the game of thrones, his father included. Tywin is livid that he didn't know, though he hardly hates Rhaegar; he wanted him to replace his father and tried wedding Cersei to him (hence the latter's immense jealousy to Lyanna, which Robert never helped). The two hate the Lannisters for the most part because of their hand in his family's death, mainly the Mountain and Armoy Lorch killing his kids Aegon and Rhaenys, and the former raping and killing Elia Martell.
      • Unsurprisingly Aerys barely tolerates Rhaegar in spite of all this as he's convinced he intends to usurp the throne. He won't call for his execution since he need Rhaegar's help against their mutual enemies, plus even he knows Kinslaying Is a Special Kind of Evil. In Aerys' defense there's evidence Rhaegar did plan to either overthrow him or force an abdication, but in Rhaegar's defense this was only because Aerys was no longer capable of ruling the realm. Also Aerys complained Rhaegar's kids smelled Dornishnote . It's worth nothing Rhaegar doesn't hold anything against Jaime for killing Aerys to save King's Landing; his father was sick and needed help long ago, and his death was practically a mercy. Lyanna bluntly said his death was "too good for him" because of how her brother and father met the Stranger.
      • The two are also universal in their contempt for Joffrey Baratheon, Walder Frey, the Boltons and Littlefinger. Asides from generally being despicable people, all of them have resulted in a lot of suffering for Lyanna Stark's family and the realm as a whole for Petyr and Joff. On a much lighter note, Lyanna was pretty overjoyed to meet her extended family. She gets along really well with Arya given their similar personalities as being rebels against the expectations of noble ladies. As whole, she's on good terms with her family. Rhaegar is also on good terms with his little sister, hoping for a restoration of the Targaryen dynasty through her, though he fears she may inherit their father's madness and that their relationship with his son (or is it sons?) could complicate matters. If the adaptation is any indication, he's absolutely right to be worried.
    • The Greek Pantheon see some similarities in regards to the supposed abduction of Lyanna by Rhaegar, as Hades had kidnapped Persephone to make her his Queen. Though highly professional when not villainized and not one to typically humor, the god of the underworld does have a bit of a soft spot for the couple because of this and because of Rhaegar's fantastic harp playing. The divine couple fondly reminisce on Orpheus' music that brought tears of iron to Hades' face and wished them well in the afterlife; they doubt Rhaegar's skill at the harp will ever match Orpheus', but he's still a really skilled player. Aphrodite applauds what they did as an act of true love, though whether this a compliment or not depends on your perspective.
    • Persephone suggest that they make friends with Romeo and Juliet, perhaps the most famous example of young and romantic love ruining the realm with conflict. Both couples have gone on double dates, musing over shared history. People have come to compare R+L=J as "the Westerosi Retelling of Romeo and Juliet", though for many cynical deities it's a stealth insult. Another less harsh comparison is between Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor. At first they didn't get it, but Rhaegar realized this was tied to prophecy; he saw himself as the savior and his potential children might be key in saving Westeros; just as how Sarah Connor was the mother of The Chosen One John Connor and key to him growing up as said chosen one. That said, he doesn't think he deserves that kind of comparison even if his actions do save the day in a roundabout way.
    • To some R+L=J is seen as beautiful and romantic. As seen with Rhaegar's below-mentioned dynamic with Anakin/Vader, Padme is understanding of the couple and the promise that the two of them have...though cynics believe she may be projecting her own experiences onto them. Rhaegar and Lyanna do hold a mutual respect for Padme, though they don't get the value of a democratic monarchy. The couple have a fondness for Ashe due to her kind royal personality and reminding Rhaegar of his sister. Elizabeth Tudor isn't nearly as sympathetic, however. From personal experience she knows how important an intelligent marriage (or chastity as she ultimately decided) is and she will not let them forget the damage that their forbidden love caused.
    • Because the two are nobility, they will often be seen conversing with members of the House of Royalty. Rhaegar has taken a liking to Prince Charming, not only because both of them are charming but because of Charming's Rebel Prince traits. He looks up to the more respected and proven royalty like Aragon and King Arthur, along with Lord Elrond due to his role as a philosopher king appealing to his sensibilities. Lyanna is friendly with Princess Bean and Daisy because of their independent princess streaks, with the latter having the clear tomboy traits Ned fondly remembers Lyanna having. Also, in spite of being nobility and not the kind of people who would be that friendly with pirates they're friends with Will and Elizabeth Turner. They're kind of jealous of the strong bond they have and Lyanna went on record that getting married while fighting in the middle of a maelstrom is both romantic and awesome.
    • Though their relationship is almost certainly loving (if foolish), the two had a nightmare of a timeline where Rhaegar was, in fact, a rapist, in order to fill the prophecy. Admittedly that incarnation was so ashamed they welcomed their death, but it was still a disturbing reveal. Lyanna went to the House of Time and Temporality to find a better timeline where they were betrothed from the get-go, and she sort of got her wish. Granted it wasn't perfect, but it was certainly happier than what happened in canon. The former scenario still frightens Rhaegar. More surprisingly for the two was what happened when Rhaegar actually got his wish of having a daughter, which among other things led to Lyarra Snow being betrothed to Oberyn of all people.
  • Applies to Rhaegar Targaryen
    • Though it was done is a foolish manner, Rhaegar's actions may have been Necessarily Evil; he wished to fulfill the prophecy of the Prince that Was Promised, which required a sort of recreation of Aegon and his sister-wives. He had a bouncing baby Aegon, young prince Rhaenys and likely expected Jon to be the Visenya equivalent...he was ultimately named Aegon instead when he proved male. And he thought he was the chosen one, destined to save the world from darkness...well there was an oncoming darkness in the White Walkers, but the prophecy was perhaps misread. Anakin Skywalker couldn't help be reminded of his Chosen One prophecy and comforted Rhaegar saying as much as he dropped the ball, it wasn't bad as him even if he did technically fulfill the prophecy. Rhaegar is intimidated by him given his past as Vader, but the two still like to talk about their experiences and opinions about the universe.
    • As with the other Targaryens in the Trope Pantheon Rhaegar spends a fair bit of his off-time in the Hall of Dragons. It wouldn't be until Dany's time that they returned to his world so he only had stories, bones and historical records to go on so he loves seeing the variety there. Admittedly he's put off by the evil dragons and just because he's a Targaryen doesn't mean he'll command too much respect from deities like Smaug. Bowser trolled Rhaegar by saying they weren't so different in that they're dragons who like to kidnap princesses, but the prince didn't take the bait; instead if need be he'll beat the Koopa at his own game playing Mario Kart.
    • He's known as the Bard Prince and can be seen playing his harp. It's said that he can move a woman to tears with his playing, a fact proven by several of the female deities that pass by. So much so that he holds concerts inside his temple for the female (and some male) guests. Just don't insult his harp playing around Lyanna. She has a mean right hook. You can usually find him on his down-time in the House of Musicality. He wants to learn more about rock music from Elvis Presley, who muses that Rhaegar is basically the rock star of Westeros. He's also a big fan of poetry, and has come to enjoys the works of Lord Byron. Many see the two as similar individuals.
    • Caligula has earned the ire of both of them due to being the exact kind of ruler Rhaegar's father was, not helped by to his comments about wanting to fuck Lyanna. He's at least smart enough to keep his distance to avoid bisected by Ice or burned alive by Dany's dragons, as he still remembers his own assassination. Rhaegar fears what Caligula represents; he may have fallen to the Targaryen madness as his father and many other family members had if he lived. This fear of Targaryen madness is also why he was shaken after meeting Arthas Menethil, who was once a noble prince like himself. Rhaegar's fear of becoming his father wasn't helped when he learned one of his friends was Ozai, who declares Rhaegar "insipid" and is just as associated with insane fire as the worst of the Targaryens...except unlike Aerys who was a barely functional mess, Ozai is (mostly) sane and makes Aerys look like a decent father.
    • After seeing the deranged psychopath that was Lucas Blight, Rhaegar has vowed that he would never become his father and he has looked to the more noble members of the House of Royalty for both support and advice. Amusingly despite the bad blood Tywin considers this unnecessary since he always thought he'd have made a better king anyway. The book smart Rhaegar looks up to one Marcus Aurelius, though the latter will give fair criticisms. Amusingly his son Commodus might be Rhaegar's Sitcom Archnemesis since he keeps wanting to prove his gladiator schemes are more entertaining than "the dragon geek". On the topic of Roman emperors, Rhaegar gets along with Nero Claudius in spite of how much of a huff she gets into that he claims his artistry is better than hersnote . Her historical counterpart Emperor Nero appreciates a royal who manages to make their entertainment charming and considers Rhaegar a rival, though the Last Dragon considers him a creep.
    • His son Aegon (no not Jon) may have been rescued at the last minute via baby swap by Varys and his allies, and is being secretly raised as "Young Griff", to one day become the perfect heir. May have been the key word; one on hand, Rhaegar's close friend Jon Connington is convinced he's legit. On the other, the Golden Company's support for Young Griff despite historically being pro-Blackfyre and anti-Targaryen means he could be a Blackfyre pretender...yes the male Blackyfre line is extinct but the fate of the female line isn't accounted for. Rhaegar has said that if he's legit he's in Varys debt but if he's not, Varys will pay for the insult to his family's memory. We may never get a concrete answer.
  • Applies to Lyanna Stark
    • Lyanna, for lack of a better term, is a tomboy. Ned said that she, like Brandon, was "wolf-blooded," meaning that she was "headstrong, willful, courageous and hot-tempered." Had Rickard Stark allowed it, Lyanna would have trained with the sword. She's a skilled rider, and loved winter roses. This played a part in how she made friends with Koku-oh, the God of Horses. Yes, Lyanna is friends with Raoh's elephant-sized horse. While Raoh won't allow Lyanna to ride his steed, he is impressed with how Koku-Oh warmed up to Lyanna. "The girl has spirit," Raoh compliments. Being such a big fan of horses Lyanna has bonded with Hazel Levesque, who got in contact with her through the good words her father Hades had towards the Wolf Maid. Sometimes you can catch her riding horses in the Hall of Ungulates, and there are reports that she goes by the Knight of the Laughing Tree. She was probably this in her mortal life too, but she remains mum on the subject.
    • As the sigil of the Stark family is the direwolf, it's no surprise to Rhaegar that Lyanna has made friends with Bigby Wolf and his wife, Snow White. Lyanna is a sucker for kids, seeing as how Bigby and Snow's children warmed up to her right away. Great Grey Wolf Sif had heard good news from his friend Ned Stark about her sister and Lyanna was happy to pet the literal dire wolf. She's a Stark after all, and has a general interest in members of the Hall of Canines that don't look like they're about to rip her face off like the Hellhounds. Amusingly Cerberus has allowed her to give him a bone to chew on since his master had a positive opinion on her. It's a sight to see, the three-headed watchdog of Hades, tongues lagging as Lyanna scratches It's belly.
    • Hans had tried to approach her and convince Lyanna he was a better, more charming prince than Rhaegar, only for Lyanna to laugh in his face. At this point everyone knows his exploitation traits and that he's a sociopath, and she proceeded to kick him into a pile of manure. After he cleaned up Rhaegar said he knows that "you're an insecure "second child syndrome" prince...sadly like my little brother, so leave Lyanna alone or else. Hans wisely retreated afterwards. Elsa and Anna laughed about the whole event with Lyanna. She's more concerned about the harsh, Chaos-worshipping Wulfric than she is about Hans since like her brother she seems him as a sort of Evil Counterpart to your classic Stark.

  • Gensokyo is home to many different kinds of mystical creatures, from the fearsome youkai to powerful gods and spooky ghosts. Among them are fairies, weak magical humanoids that embody certain aspects of nature. Their lives are fleeting, but their ability to instantly resurrect themselves means that death is a complete non-issue for them. One such fairy lives at the Misty Lake surrounding the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Her name is Cirno, and boy is she arrogant. She loves to boast about how she's the strongest and challenges others to fights often. Given how fairies are even lower than humans in the Gensokyo pecking order, this usually means a quick, humiliating defeat for her whenever she fights most others that aren't her fellow fairies. Not that it'll slow her down anytime soon; fairies don't have the best memory span anyways.
  • The Pantheon, like planet Earth, has plenty of lakes around, with fish and frogs being some of the animals ones might find dwelling in the waters. One such lake, close to the House of Personality has a plentiful amount of amphibians who made their home there. One day at noon, some deities noticed that the lake has gotten strangely chilly, with mist obscuring their vision. Not only that, but some of the frogs appeared to have been frozen recently! Just what is happening here? They got their answer soon enough when someone spotted a girl with icicles for wings encasing a frog with her ice powers. Having somehow stumbled into the Pantheon, Cirno has made new residence in a place similar to the Misty Lake and was obliviously given the title of Boisterous Weaklings. Of course, when she did find out, she just bragged how she'll prove that she isn't a weakling soon enough.
  • Cirno, being an ice fairy, has powers all related to the cold. She can make her surroundings colder, freeze water and other living beings, and create objects out of ice like icicles, ice cubes, and even weaponry perfect for fights. Obviously, with there being a Hall called Ice and Cold, it was only a matter of time until she made a visit to the place. There, she made quick friends with Jack Frost, who finds her fun to be around and doesn't mind her offers to duel, thus they like blasting each other with their ice powers in the sky. More surprisingly, she had no fear in approaching the Groke, whose ice powers don't faze the ice fairy in the slightest. The Groke, on her behalf, feels happy that she has made a new friend. Outside of the Hall, she has become yet another irritation in the eyes of Jin Kisaragi, who absolutely cannot stand her presence whatsoever. Any time she tries to challenge him to battle, he just tries to slice her with Yukianesa to either kill or at least shoo her away. She also became another things that angers the easily agitated Ghiaccio, upon which clashes become common between them as they both scream loudly over the now frozen battlefield. Contrary to the previous two; she gets along well with Elsa enough that they sometimes build snowmen together. Plus, Elsa is no stranger to magical beings, so she can deal with Cirno easily. As for Kuai Liang aka Sub-Zero, he's just very confused on what to do with the ice fairy. Both Zamtrios living in the Pantheon find themselves harassed by the ice fairy, to which they tend to defeat her with ease... moreso with the regular Zamtrios variation who already has domain over ice. The Tigerstripe variation lacks that sort of defensive advantage, so her attacks hurt more and she actually won against it a few times.
  • Speaking of fairies, the Pantheon has no shortage of fairies living in it, with there even being a whole Hall for fairies! So what does Cirno does with this knowledge? Well, prove that she's the top dog fairy around here, obviously! So she made a grand declaration in the middle of the Hall that she will wage a great second fairy war to show that she's the strongest around. Reception was... disappointing. Most didn't really care and went about their regular business, and some merely just laughed at her comedy routine. However, a few fairies decided to "amuse" her. One Jorgen von Strangle was thought by Cirno to be an easy foe, only for her to be sorely mistaken as she was used as his punching bag, leaving her knocked out on the ground. Not out of motivation yet, she got up and challenged her next opponent, a smallish fairy named Airy. This will be an easy win-no wait, Airy just fried Cirno on the spot and left the scene. The second fairy war ended as soon as it began, with Cirno thoroughly humiliated. She won't be deterred by this loss, as she now vows revenge on the two and aims to defeat them one day... not that they care at all about that.
    • After everything's said and done, Cirno decided to seek out the other fairies and see what they're like. For starters, Puck invited her to the woods of his king and queen, to of which she quickly obliged to. Oberon and Titania find the ice fairy to be charming entertainment and after a night of what the fair folk call "fun", they accepted her as one of them. Cirno, on her part, had a really fun time with the other fairies. Cirno once tried to take Tinker Bell's title as the Goddess of Fairies and teamed up with Captain Hook to steal it. Their alliance did not last long, as the pirate betrayed her and she, with the help of Tink and her friends, got her revenge just as quickly. They since then became good friends, though Cirno's still a bit miffed over their difference of titles. Outside of the Hall, She gets along with Cosmo and Wanda and has a blast with the many crazy happenings that Timmy Turner's wishes bring. Meanwhile, a certain Mr. Crocker felt antsier than usual when they hang out. Could those fairy god parents made another fairy friend? Rrrgh! Another fairy to discover, it seems...
  • One of Cirno's favorite things to do is freeze frogs and watch them slooooowly thaw. Sometimes they die, but that's no biggie- there's plenty of other frogs out there. She usually keeps to her own pond, but she isn't above flying around and freezing frogs somewhere else. Not even deities are spared from this treatment, as amphibians like Greninja, the Hypnotoad, Frog, Toad, and the Plantars can attest to being attacked by the ice fairy. Even those like Tsuyu Asui, Tiana and Naveen have been accosted by her on some occasions! Such a thing always inflames the ire of Suwako Moriya, lover and protector of all frogs, and thus whenever she catches Cirno in the act, she's quick to fire back with some extra special danmaku. Also, every time she tries to freeze the Plantars, she gets chased away by a very angry Anne, Sasha and Marcy.
  • If there's anything Cirno loves more than freezing frogs, it's her ego. A day cannot pass without her bragging that she's the strongest around and trying to fight others to prove her might. But like Gensokyo, the Pantheon is filled with many beings stronger than her, and their responses to her challenge declarations are to either laugh at her, make her shut up somehow or just flat out ignoring her. Cirno could only grumble in frustration; who is gonna fight her? Then, as if by a divine miracle, four challengers emerged to challenge her to a fight: renowned knight Zote the Mighty, the dashing and heroic Don Quixote, world champion Mr. Satan and expert Saikyo-ryu fighter Dan Hibiki. Yes, she thought, this fight will be legendary! Only... it wasn't. She easily dispatched three of the combatants easily, with Zote, Quixote and Dan being easily frozen. Zote in particular is extra pathetic for he couldn't even scratch her with his special Life Ender move. However, Mr. Satan proved to be the most challenging opponent of them all, with him dodging her moves and even nailing some blows on her before she became the ultimate victor of the match. To this day, Cirno still tangles against Mr. Satan on occasion while the other three continue to plot their revenge and show that they're the cooler ones. If you asked anyone about the fight, they would call it "absurdly lame" for the most part.
  • Don't get us wrong; Cirno isn't a complete weakling. She's actually one of the stronger fairies around and can handle herself in a fight pretty well. It's just that she has a bad habit of challenging others who are way stronger than she is, resulting in her getting absolutely curb-stomped and humiliated. Similarly, Johnny Bravo has a habit of bragging about how cool he is only to get beaten up by others less muscular than him, and it's usually the women he's trying to woo that deliver the beatdowns on his doorstep. Cirno's actually getting ideas on becoming more muscular to make herself look more impressive from him, while Johnny sees her not as another babe but a rival (hey, she looks too young for his tastes, he has standards). Scrappy-Doo, as confrontational as usual, tried picking a fight wit her with his usual "Lemme at 'em!" attitude. This got him frozen for his troubles, with Cirno seeing him as dumb for challenging her, unaware of the irony. Hearing of the Thraddash's Might Makes Right philosophy and believe that those who destroy them utterly are their superiors, she now has a goal to defeat them utterly so she can lord over them and make them her servants and fans... when she beats them, that is. She still isn't successful yet in that regard, but she's not gonna stop trying just yet!
    • Since the Pantheon has plenty of people known for their unparalleled strength, Cirno can't resist the temptation to find and challenge them to a battle to prove that she's the only one deserving of being called the strongest. First, she challenged no other than Son Goku himself, who accepted her offer. After all, he loves nothing more than a good fight! He was pretty disappointed when he defeated her pretty quickly, but he has hopes that with enough training, she too can become super strong. Her battle with Vergil turned out pretty badly for her; no matter how much motivation she had, she couldn't match him in power. Vergil just finds her to be a complete waste of his time. Hearing of the so-called "greatest warrior in the galaxy", she braced herself for battle as Galacta Knight burst from his crystal prison only to get destroyed in a single slice of his lance. She pestered Saitama for a fight, but to her confusion he just ignored her entirely and continued to do his daily routine and barely even noticed when she gave up and flew away. Similarly, Gebura, formerly Kali the Red Mist, also rejected Cirno's repeated declarations of battle. She has no interest in amusing the fairy, much to her frustration. She really wanted to see if a Color really did live up to the hype...
  • An inherit part of being a fairy in Gensokyo is that death is not permanent for them. Being embodiments of nature, they will only die should the aspect of nature that birthed them is lost. Otherwise, they will resurrect immediately and go about their business. Their near inability to die and general lack of intelligence means that the pranks they play on humans can have fatal results simply because they don't realize humans can't come back from the dead so easily. Such a death-to-instant-revival is surprisingly quite similar to the immortality that one achieves by drinking the Hourai Elixir as one Fujiwara no Mokou can attest to, having died many times in fights before. She's unsure if the elixir has anything to do with fairies, but that's likely a mystery that will never be solved. Plus, Cirno's not one to easily remember much in such a long life, so she's still kinda stuck sparring with Kaguya for the time being. Also, her poor memory makes it a bit frustrating to other deities as she'll never learn from her mistakes ever. Surprisingly, the Mob has taken a shine to her for "defeating the dreaded PC", whatever that means. Perhaps her immortality allowed that? Anyway, she soaked up the praise like there's no tomorrow, even if she didn't remember that happening at all.
  • She likes to run a math class when she is bored and quizzes other deities on their math skills. Contrary to what others may expect, she isn't a complete doofus when it comes to mathematics, as she knows how to count and has knowledge of rounding and fractions. What is evident is that she has a bizarre sense of mathematics; when she isn't getting simple expressions completely wrong, she makes ludicrous proofs on theories and other high-end equations. And that's not getting into her awarding marks to "students" who get their answers wrong and vice versa! Such things raise the ire of Mad Mathematician Sho Minamimoto, who sees her as disrespecting her area of obsession and Baldi, who flies into a murderous rage every time anyone gets a single math equation wrong. Thus, such "classes" usually end with one of the two trying to throttle the ice fairy while she yells about how she's not an idiot.
  • Whenever a festival pops by, you might see Cirno at her own food stall selling some shaved ice. Sometimes it's with a reasonable flavor like sweet bean, but other times she gets weird and sells water-flavored shaved ice. She's always confused on why no one's buying her super creative and genius ideas. Speaking of her wild adventures in selling stuff, she once made a commercial on powder milk. The health benefits it gives are... debateable and no one really bought it, but the music in the commercial was admittably really catchy to those who watched it.
  • During one strange summer, the seasons started getting weird, with all four of them happening all around Gensokyo. In particular, the fairies were bequeathed a new power, making them go berserk. Cirno was no exception, and not only did this make her ego even bigger than it normally is, it even gave her a tan somehow. As it turns out, the incident was caused by none other than Okina Matara, one of the sages of Gensokyo. Her new tan was revealed to be a consequence of her supercharged rampage, and that it will destroy her if she stays in that state for too long. With the right circumstances, she, a mere fairy, managed to defeat a sage of Gensokyo, quite a shocking and unexpected feat. Some time later, she lost her tan and her summer-related powers, reverting her to her normal state. Cirno wasn't so fortunate on their next battle, ensuring that the two would remain enemies for a long while. Still, the fact she could beat such a powerful being once is an achievement in of itself. Perhaps this is a lesson to be learned; even if your opponent is obviously weaker than you, that doesn't mean that it's impossible for you to lose against them.
  • Bringing up the subject of SCP-6959 with Cirno is not recommended. On the one hand, this would make Cirno believe that she has existed since the dawn of time, making her ego be even more overblown. On the other hand, her trying to comprehend the idea of a doll of her made out of strange material could also just fry her brain with ideas. The Foundation itself would be ready to contain her to find a definite answer what the deal with the Fumo doll is, but they also realize that maybe trying to solve it would be a waste of time and resources.
  • Oh, and one last thing; she's referred to by some as "nine-ball", apparently originating from an instruction manual or something. On that note, she is in no way related to that other Nine-Ball, who is absolutely not an idiot and certainly not an easy foe to beat. Confuse them at your own peril.

  • Within the Youkai Mountain lays the home of the tengu. Tengu are known for many things, but most relevant thing is that they love to gossip and write articles about the goings of the world. One of the most vocal tengu is Aya Shameimaru, who in particular likes to scoop out any and all interesting articles around Gensokyo to write onto her newspaper called Bunbunmaru Newspaper- and she'll do just about anything to get a headline.
  • Was actually ascended in the past- but much like other Gensokyoan deities like Sumireko Usami, she was eventually taken out as one of the many that got removed during a massive reorganization effort. That's not to say that she left the Pantheon completely since then- she just lost access to juicier areas for her to spin a story. Smash Cut to Chimata Tenkyuu's ascension, however, and soon Aya found herself alongside most of Gensokyo in arms against Brand X for trying to profit off of their main culture- their Spell & Ability Cards. Aya's main role during the uprising was to spread the word as fast as she could, not just across Gensokyo, but also the Pantheon, delivering special editions of the Bunbunmaru Newspaper that had been written in multiple Pantheon-known languages courtesy of Kosuzu Motoori. However, when it came time to strike Brand X itself, Aya joined the fight, and with the rest of Gensokyo's top brass, they successfully take down the organization in a brilliant display of danmaku. And yet...she never accepted the reascension offer at first, unlike Keiki Haniyasushin & Kosuzu, as she felt content with what she had now- a great story to be told for years to come. But with enemies new and old cropping up for the land of fantasy since then, as well as exciting and horrifying new prosect, she finally pulled the trigger and returned to the Pantheon at large.
  • To say that Aya's got some weird quirks is quite the subject to touch upon. For some time prior during her first ascension, there were rumors going abut that she was a girlfriend of sort to her creator ZUN, explaining the weird amount of exposure she got across quite a few incidents (except that time when Toyosatomimi No Miko woke up from her slumber), as well as a certain outfit from his wardrobe. These rumors have died down quite significantly since then, especially now that ZUN has an actual wife. There are also theories about that she takes panty shots and other naughty pictures of many deities and sells them for money . No one has really proven either of these, but many have conspired to believe that Aya was the one that helped Tsubame Kayoi gain membership into the The Seven Servants- a theory that certainly had that group's second-in-leadership's blood boiling.
  • Aya is classified within Gensokyo as a tengu- more specifically, a crow tengu, who generally are relegated to information gathering. So naturally, she would, when off the clock, go around to meet some of her feathered fellows, such as Nyotengu, who isn't the most talkative to her reporter when it comes to their respective origins and societies, and instead would often get into beef with her over trivial matters, a feat very few of Nyotengu's other rivals have seemingly accomplished. She feels pity forwards Setsuna, anther fellow tengu, due of her being an outcast from her clan due of having white wings instead of black ones, to which Aya says that she totally doesn't feel like she herself is an outcast, no way. She also has a certain attraction towards the Murkrow in the Pantheon as they happen to be crows as well...but agrees that they are much better off with Marisa Kirisame, since Aya's more busy with her job. Speaking of, given the seven's (1 Marisa + 6 Murkrow) kleptomaniac tendencies, Aya firmly thinks that they would make for great front-pagers for the Bunbunmaru Newspaper, just by doing what they do normally.
  • Charlotte E. Yeager, a member of the 501st (not that one), thinks rather highly of Aya, a position most don't normally take when it came to the tengu. Both happen to be speed freaks with a rather carefree attitude, and their dynamic usually is a Good Cop/Bad Cop one, with Charlotte being the good cop and Aya being the bad one. They also seem to just take life as it goes, feeling carefree about it, which has seemed to further root this strange friendship.
  • Aya's pedigree as a reporter is...to put it lightly, very fluctuating. In general, her reports and headlines are generally in the range of mundane, to overexaggerated, embellished with inconsistencies and fallacies, apparently. However, this isn't always the case, really- it's just the norm for her.
    • She claims that she prides herself on only reporting the truth, but what she actually writes is not as honest. First of all, she will report on anything she thinks will make a good article- usually actual incidents that are mostly just mildly interesting happenings with different people. Secondly is that her articles are filled with rumors, exaggerations and some biased opinions, not helped by her admitting that most people only read the headlines and look at the pictures and rarely read the whole article. Due of these reasons, most people don't really read her newspaper that much unless they want to pass the time- some people even use her publications as fuel for fires.
    • She can be incredibly noisy and obnoxious when it comes to getting new stories, but she can change her behavior to be more polite to fit the situation when it comes to getting interviews. She doesn't really want to pick up fights, but don't let that excuse you from the fact that she's well over a millennium old, extremely fast, and unaware of just how strong she is. After all, despite where she stands in tengu society within Gensokyo, she is one that you do not want to mess with, regardless of your own strength. Unless you really don't want her to write articles about you, it is generally preferred to tolerate her presence than to try to drive her away.
    • Her career has had some high highs and very low lows. For instance, a high point would be a dedicated Human Village version of the Bunbunmaru Newspaper, distributed through Suzunaan; however, this establishment was challenged when Kosuzu's herald, Mamizou Futatsuiwa, conducted a smear campaign to dissuade these. A low point in her career, and I mean low, was when she tried to turn her paper into a weekly tabloid paper filled with even more falsified stories (real-world political allusions, calling out "immigrants" like the members of Eientei & Sumireko, and even criticizing Gensokyo's incident resolvers) than the norm, something she admits to. It never actually got to the print as she cancelled whole thing in the fear that she was being used by Lunarians to possibly turn her lies into the truth- a suggestion heavily drilled into her by Hecatia Lapislazuli, among other things. However, a recent development involving Aya happens to involve one of her heralds- her boss Megumu, who caused a minor incident that Chimata took advantage of and hold a market at Reimu's shrine. Aya tried to expose her own boss's machinations with the coerced help of Geidontei's owner Miyoi Okunoda, but upon witnessing Megumu & Chimata's meeting afterward, though, she had a change of mind and proceeded to report it as just what it is- a minor incident.
      • The consequences of starting a rather unsavory publication has also been a feeling that other members of the Pantheon had shared. The Cutie Mark Crusaders, for instance, set one up as one of their many schemes to get their marks, which, naturally didn't end well. Spongebob also had to undergo reporting for a tabloid such by Mr. Krabs' command in an attempt by the entrepreneur to get more money; unlike Aya's attempt at trying to oust her boss Megumu for the red snow incident, Spongebob did turn the tables & exposed this shady business model of Krabs', shutting it down. Aya herself went to meet these fellow deities- she reminded the CMCs that the journalism business is tighter than it looks and offered to teach them the proper way to chase headlines, commended Spongebob for his brave efforts, and disapproved of Mr. Krabs' motivations for his paper- well, pot calling kettle black, no?
    • Other journalists in the Pantheon generally have a negative opinion of Aya, unsurprisingly, given her reputation in Gensokyo. Tamie Nogi for instance looks up to Aya as a symbol of going after headlines, but isn't as approving of her methods. Lois Lane & April O'Neil commend Aya's strength despite being a reporter, but like Tamie, aren't approving of some of Aya's attempts at getting news. J. Jonah Jameson, who also generally has issues with bias (especially towards Spider-Man), is also disapproving of Aya for just how much she fabricates and exaggerates her own stories, so much more than him even on news regarding Spider-Man, despite acknowledging her prowess as a photographer. And finally, Diana Christensen is impressed by Aya's work, especially on the unpublished tabloid that would've made Bunbunmaru truly heinous, and was disappointed when she learned of this fact. The tengu herself, however, would rather go for a one-way nosedive into Misty Lake instead of working with Christensen.
  • As stated earlier, Aya is about 1000 years old, meaning that she is quite wise- though you may not know that from seeing her firsthand. She is also the fastest being in Gensokyo, able to have sustained flight that exceeds that of Remilia Scarlet- who has managed to circle the entire Moon really fast once, a claim that Marisa boldly made and has surprisingly been backed up by other Gensokyoan deities. She is freakishly strong and potentially stronger than she thinks she is, a topic that has put the Court of the Gods into quite a conundrum.
Eiki Shiki, Yamaxanadu: The topic of Shameimaru's abilities has been one that has stymied us for a while. We have conclusively decided that her previous ascension rank of Lesser Goddess is unsuitable, but Overdeity is out of the question for her. A surprising amount of us in the Court believe she should be a Greater Goddess, but the rest, myself included, would see her more as an Intermediate Goddess.
    • Her abilities to control the wind are very, very strong, and could only be even stronger with that fan of hers. The wind, to her, could even carry the conversations and rumors that are spoken up. As such, deities in the Hall of Wind and Air, as well as other air users like Wendy Marvell, Artoria Pendragon, and even Gensokyo's own Kanako Yasaka are very keen on seeing just how powerful these abilities are. They would get their wish, though, when she flew right into Kamen Rider Faiz one day as she is, per usual, hunting for a scoop. The ensuing scrap forced out quite a bit from the two, a display that certainly made headlines later that day for Aya, but they soon realized their misunderstanding and have been friends since.
    • Aya Shameimaru, is, without question or even contest, the fastest person in Gensokyo. So fast, that, according to Barry Allen (aka. the Flash), she could potentially even make contact with the Speed Force if she really puts her mind into it. With that in mind, the duo decided on a money match- 10 laps around the Pantheon, running past the main entrance of every single House (that feasibly has such), loser has to work for the other for a week. And while Aya was incredibly fast and can definitely prove Barry's theory, she ended up having to serve as a janitor for a week at STAR Labs. She disliked the experience, but at least found respect for the speedster since then, which stemmed into a disliking of his archnemesis Eobard Thorne, a disliking paid in kind.
    • The camera that Aya carries has the ability to remove projectiles caught in its flash, especially danmaku. There are two other deities that have a camera with this kind of power- those being Seija Kijin & Sumireko Usami. Nowadays, Aya feels rather neutral abut both despite having slandered and reported on them in the past, an upgrade from her previous feelings towards them. She is, of course, one of many who were horrified to learn of Seija's fate at Yuuki Terumi's hands at Suzunaan, a headline that she reported with the utmost truth and precision. She still shudders whenever she sees the front-page picture for that article.

"You don't seem related to the incident, so without further ado, allow me to blow you into the next week!"

[up][up] Should note that Superman (under his Clark Kent identity) is a journalist and that's where he got to meet Lois. Clark is noted to be an outstanding journalist by his peers. Given Aya's questionable content and nature as a journalist, she and Clark would likely struggle to get along.

Louis Bloom is another journalist very dedicated to his work. The problem here is that Louis is a sociopath who will use any underhanded and outright despicable tactics to get his shots. As in he will steal others' content, sabotage rival journalists, and even let his own colleagues and partners get killed in his line of work, and he is shameless and remorseless about it.

Other than that, here's a [tup] for Aya.

Jade's profile lists Aya as her Rival, which I can see since she's a fellow Intrepid Reporter. Although, with how Aya does her reporting, I'd say that Jade would oppose if not consider Aya an enemy since her fabrication and lying would interfere with Jade's own reporting. Like, it's much harder to inform the people that the trusted military group is in league with the alien invaders if the people are disillusioned from the news by the type of reporting Aya does lol

Aside from that, [tup] for Aya

Funny thing to note- holy hell quite a bit of the Hall of Investigative Work really doesn't like Aya. Maybe it'd be funnier if I put Aya in this hall alongside Sources of Information. Would you guys be cool with that?

I'm the strongest!

Two proposals: One another Touhou rework, the other a new idea.

Hata no Kokoro for Cool Mask: Hata no Kokoro is a menreiki, a youkai born from masks. She is made up of 65 (formerly 66) noh masks, each with their own unique and striking designs, such as a young woman, am old man, a hannya, a fox and a monkey. Each of them represent a different emotion which she uses to express hers, as she cannot emote with her face. Her masks float around her constantly and she wears them when doing different attacks as her masks grant her power. The entire plot of Hopeless Masquerade happens because she loses her mask of hope, leading to the game's incident. In a way, she IS a bunch of Cool Masks. I want to rework her as her current profile is lacking in interactions and can have plenty of expansion as it's pretty short and bare by today's standards (plus it has 8 flavor texts, below the minimum 10).

Kusuo Saiki for Deliberate Under-Performance: Kusuo Saiki is a boy born with phenomenally powerful psychic abilities. Not only does he have a very wide array of powers in his skillset, he's completely capable of destroying the whole world in three days. However, he greatly restrains himself from utilizing his full potential as his powers prove to be an inconvenience to him on a regular basis, they made his life incredibly easy and boring, and he would rather live a normal, quiet life as his powers would draw plenty of unwanted attention towards him. As an example, while he could use his powers to get perfect scores on tests, he makes the effort to get perfectly mediocre scores so he wouldn't stand out.

Work goes on. Rework time- and this one's a bit different.

Satori & Koishi Komeiji, Divine Duet of Sibling Polarity as potential Lesser Goddesses for the Hall of Siblings (House of Family and Relatives).

This is a tri-fold affair- firstly, this will modernize both the currently-approved Koishi's and the currently unapproved Satori's profiles in order to match the ever-raising standards of the Pantheon and its deities, new and old. This is also a Challenge Proposal against Yun & Yang Lee, the current holders of this trope, as their profile is woefully outdated and short on information (having seven rather short flavor texts). The Komeiji sisters are, besides the main playable protagonists and those from the 1st gen of Touhou games, the most popular characters in the franchise. They are also characters that are on opposite ends of the spectrum- how they deal with their powers, their mannerisms, their strengths, and even their color schemes. Works such as the official Touhou Chireikiden ~ Foul Detective Satori & the unofficial Koishi Komeiji's Heart-Throbbing Adventure have also helped in giving them new facets that would otherwise make them generally basic characters, alongside other such sources.

Mount Volbono, the Weird Land of Weird Food

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mount_volbono.jpg

  • Area: Fictional Settings
  • Description: A pastel-coloured, volcanic valley filled with low-poly vegetables and blocks of Swiss cheese.
  • Symbol: A cauldron on top of a volcano
  • Theme song: Mount Volbono
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Weird World, Weird Food, Level Ate and Lethal Lava Land, Convection, Schmonvection, Fantasy Counterpart Culture of Italy, inhabited by anthropomorphic forks, has cyan checkpoints and Power Moons, there's a Disconnected Side Area at the peak, its music was made using kitchen utensils
  • Domains: Cooking, volcanoes, low-poly pastel aesthetics
  • Sacred to: Mario, Cappy, the entire House of Food
  • Visitors: Yoshi, Anton Ego, Gordon Ramsay, Remy, Hercules, Teostra and Lunastra, Mung Daal Catering, many members of the Hall of Chefs and Establishments (such as Ignis Scientia and Sanji), King Dedede, Gourgeist
  • Banned from entering: Bowser, Obelix, Mr. Dark, Gohma Vlitra, Kirby, Deviljho, Jabba the Hutt, Nutty
  • Situated in the Luncheon Kingdom, Mount Volbono is famous for its food. The volcanic climate allows vegetables to grow to huge sizes, the ruins of the old town are covered in salt, and the foothills are covered with blocks of Swiss cheese that can be chiselled like rocks. The locals — anthropomorphic forks called Volbonans — use these ingredients to make soup, which they boil in cauldrons heated by the pink lava. This may sound like a fever dream, but their Stupendous Stew is so good that Bowser stole it to serve at his wedding with Princess Peach. Fortunately, Mario and Cappy put a stop to his plans.
  • The Volbonans were surprised to learn that their homeland had been connected to the Pantheon, but they're welcoming to most visitors. Most of them live in Peronza Plaza, which is just up the hill from the ruins of Old Town. In turn, they're interested in the House of Food and can be found visiting its many restaurants. However, a few gods are banned from entering. The Volbonans still haven't forgiven Bowser for stealing their stew; Kirby, Deviljho, Obelix, and Nutty would probably eat everything; Mr. Dark might try to annex Mount Volbono into his kingdom of sweets; no-one wants to know how much havoc Gohma Vlitra could wreak using its unusual lava; and the Volbonans can't stomach Jabba's table manners. Obelix once tried to sneak in by disguising himself as a chef, but nobody was fooled.
  • Mario and Cappy have taken many of their friends to visit Mount Volbono. One of them was Yoshi, who'd been there before; Mario was surprised, so Cappy pointed out there's a portal to the Luncheon Kingdom in Yoshi's house. Despite Yoshi's huge appetite, he prefers to eat invading Koopas over vegetables, so his presence was welcome.
  • Unsurprisingly, many gods from the House of Food are interested in Mount Volbono. Gordon Ramsay and Anton Ego were both interested in trying the Stupendous Stew; the Volbonans were nervous that it wouldn't live up to their high standards, but breathed a collective sigh of relief when they both liked it. Remy isn't a connoisseur, but instead visited to get inspiration for new recipes. However, nobody expected Hercules to visit. He explained that Mount Volbono reminds him of Mount Vesuvius, which is sacred to him.
  • Teostra and Lunastra once visited, and everyone went quiet. They watched from a safe distance as the duo prowled around like they owned the place, completely impervious to the heat. In the end, the Volbonans contacted the Monster Hunters to relocate them before they could claim it as their territory. For weeks, the lava rivers were sectioned off while the hunters cleaned up all the leftover explosive powder.
  • The members of Mung Daal Catering feel right at home here. They also live in a colourful, whimsical world, and their livelihood is making weird food. On their first visit, Chowder helped himself to several cauldron's worth of stew before the Volbonans had to drag him away. In turn, many Volbonans have visited their restaurant.
  • Due to the large piles of salt that are constantly blown around by the wind, amphibians, earthworms, and land gastropods avoid Mount Volbono like the plague. Earthworm Jim has another reason to never visit: it reminds him of Level Ate, a dangerous place made of food, and filled with killer salt shakers and giant forks.
  • Once a year, the Volbonans hold a Cooking Carnival in Peronza Plaza. Ever since Mount Volbono was connected to the Pantheon, they've turned it into a competition where chefs from all over the Pantheon compete to create the best meals. The first year, Remy, Sanji, and Ignis were the top three.
  • The Volbonans were wary about letting King Dedede into Mount Volbono due to his history of stealing food, but he assured them he'd changed since then. The main reason he wanted to visit was so his army of Waddle Dees could try the stew. It was an adorable sight to see, and many tourists took photographs of Waddle Dees sleeping around Peronza Plaza.
  • Mount Volbono is also of interest to the House of Plants because of its fertile soil. The Volbonans have a trade agreement with the Hall of Miscellaneous Plants, which has a regular produce market. Gourgeist visited Mount Volbono night in hopes of pulling a prank, but despite being a ghostly jack-o-lantern, she was the one who got a fright; the Volbonans mistook her for a non-anthropomorphic pumpkin and tried to cook her. The Volbonans sent her a chef's hat as an apology, but she still hasn't returned.

I'd be interested in adopting Huey Long and John Reed. Xerxes I and Anasi might also be of interest to me.

Now, I have a bunch of schoolwork at the moment (and have had a bunch of schoolwork since February), so if I adopt them, it'll be a while before I work on them.
