Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

IN regards to the Mercenaries Guild page, I'm thinking of just renaming it to Pantheonic Soldiers Of Fortune once it's ready for release. What do you think?

Day 1.

Mai Tokiha, Goddess of Caretaking (Mai-HiME)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mai_04.png
  • Intermediate Goddess (Kagutsuchi can potentially reach Greater levels)
  • New House: Family Dynamics
  • [tup]s: 3 (The Wikia Editor, Super WIKI 1, Muundeis)
  • Rework Done on: Apr 5 (repost on Mar 30 and Apr 2)
  • Theme Song: Shining Days
  • Symbol: Three magatamas encircled within a golden ring
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Magical Girls, New Transfer Student Motherly/Sisterly Instinct, Bustiest And Strongest of All The HiMEs, Feels Responsible For Takumi's Condition And Her Mother's Death, Fiery Red Head, Healthcare Motivation, Overwhelming Power Held Back Only By Her Unwillingness To Fight, Fire Magic, Barrier Warrior, Flight, Seeing Goodness in Everyone, Unwavering Honor, Keeping One's Personal Problems Personal, Damn Good Cooking, Dragon Riders
  • Domains: Fire, Family, Protection, Dragons
  • Heralds: Takumi Tokiha (her brother), Kagutsuchi (her CHILD), Tate Yuichi (her "Most Important Person")
  • High Priestess/Mortal Protégé: Arika Yumemiya
  • Followers: Yuuri Shibuya, Princess Marya, Takamachi, Syphile
  • Allies: Rushuna Tendou, Dizzy, Naruto Uzumaki, Yu Narukami and his friends, Yumi, Marona, the Katawa girls, Hinata Hyuuga, Shinji Kido/Kamen Rider Ryuki, Mai Takatsukasa, Iroh, Lea, Mio Amakura, Dr. Simon Tam, Dean Winchester, Jo March
  • Enemies: Judge Frollo, Caim and Angelus, Grima, Shinryu, Jonathan Irons
  • Dislikes: Lina Inverse, Mayu Amakura
  • The Caretaker's chosen candidate was an interesting pick. It was in the old days of the Pantheon, where ascension standards were more lax. But the Court of the Gods selected Mai Tokiha for the trope, given her character arc being most defined by taking care of her Ill Boy brother Takumi, and how that aspect extended to her roommate and fellow HiME Mikoto.
  • Due to the clear differences in timelines, as well as the manga being an Alternate Continuity, this Mai representing the trope is the animé incarnation.
  • While her powers disappeared after the destruction of the HiME Star, due to the inherent danger that comes with being a Pantheon Goddess, Mai was granted back her Element and CHILD Kagutsuchi and without the Sword of Sealing, to boot. She was fearful of this at first, but the Court assured her that the life of her most precious one is no longer tied to the CHILD's survival.
  • Her Element, if Mai is forced into combat, consists of four golden rings around her wrists and ankles. Besides providing levitation, she can also create barriers (useful to shield from Kagutsuchi's flames), and use fire in her attacks.
    • Her CHILD, Kagutsuchi, is a dragonlike creature capable of spitting destructive fiery balls. It also is capable of melee fighting, and has a jet mode which allows it to travel at high speeds. Out of the CHILDs seen, it's proved to be among the most powerful. And even if Kagutsuchi gets killed, not only is it able to resurrect itself and be reborn from its flames and feathers, it can similarly revive Mai if she bites it around the same time (so far, only when she's riding with it). It can even take her to space, or at least high enough to destroy a Kill Sat.
  • Feels a kinship with Yu Narukami because of his affection toward and his dedication to the care of his cousin Nanako. Except she was less ill and more depressed due to her father's issues that stemmed from her mother's death by a drive-by accident.
    • Though him, she met his other friends, such as a different Chie, the Robot Girl Aigis (who somewhat reminded her of Miyu), and Nanako herself when she ascended as well. She woud eventally get to know everyone else in the Investigation Team and the Shadow Operatives.
    • (something about the similarity between Orphans and CHILDs akin to that of Shadows and Personas)
  • Eventually, she came into contact with other folks who took the role of caretaker for others.
    • First up is Iroh, who did his best to keep Zuko from the path of evil even in his hunt for the Avatar before he eventually befriended Aang. The old general is also intrugued with Mai's dedication and her own pyrokinetic abilities and hopes to help her learn how to use them while minimizing the element's destructive potential.
    • Next is Lea, particularly from his time as the Nobody Axel. She heard of the screwed up way he took this fole for Roxas during their early days in Orgainzation XIII. That said, she also heard of how he made amends for it since then.`
    • And then there's Mio Amakura and her dymanic with Mayu. While Mai can feel for the younger twin's dedication, she disapproves of the elder twin's deliberate self-injury to invoke this, finding it worse than her own brother Takumi, who actually tried to make her find someone besides him to live for.
    • For Taiga Hanaya and his deal with his patient Nico Saiba, Mai is conflicted with his attitude with everyone, even if he ultimately means well.
    • In regards to Dean Winchester and his brother Sam, she found his case a bit more complicated. Despite the unspeakable things they've done to and for each other (even separating a few times), the two still love one another unconditionally and are willing to go to Hell (literally) for each other. They don't always see eye to eye, but Dean is nonetheless very protective of Sam. In this regard, he relates to Mai somewhat.
    • Mai has strong respect for Dr. Simon Tam for having helped his sister escape a government facility and continuing to protect her (and her eventually returning the favor) before his untimely shedding of his mortal coil.
    • She bonded with Jo March over how they both struggled and had to make sacrifices in order to take care of their respective siblings. While it's true that Mai only had one sibling (plus Wild Child roommate Mikoto) compared to Jo's three, the HiME also had to handle all the supernatural and the fighting.
    • While she's somewhat annoyed with Elaine Bene's going through so many boyfriends, she can't help but feel sorry for her needing to become their caretaker each time just before she's thinking of dumping them. They get along reasonably.
  • Also… she makes a mean bowl of ramen, a food Naruto Uzumaki especially loves when he's not on duty. She has since taught Hinata how she makes it. Of course, ramen isn't the only food she's good at cooking.
  • Is often very reluctant to fight because Kagutsuchi does most of her fighting and will often cause more damage than whatever it is she's trying to stop. This doesn't mean that she can't fight - she's just well aware of how overpowered a huge, temperamental, fire-breathing dragon-phoenix hybrid is. And if the battle's relatively small-scale, she wouldn't even need to call upon her CHILD.
  • Unlike its master, Kagutsuchi does not get along with others, especially the dragon-based deities (Bahamut, Shinryu, Caim's dragon Angelus, and Grima…especially Grima). Due to Shinryu and Grima being quite the douchebags, Mai shares the same sentiment. She does her best to keep it reined it around Bahamut, and she doesn't oppose Angelus as much as she opposes Caim.
    • Lina Inverse, after seeing Kagutsuchi in action, has expressed the desire to obtain it should Mai ever tire of her Mon. Mai, after hearing of Lina's penchant for destruction, steadfastly refuses any and all offers for fear of even more destruction. Besides, her CHILD is bound to her, so that's not happening anytime soon, anyway.
  • After her brother received the necessary healthcare treatment to cure him, Mai has gotten noticeably more relaxed and upbeat, almost to the point of being a downright silly Genki Girl at times.
  • She is also a frequent visitor to the House of Music for karaoke nights.
  • Given that her school was victim to a private military coup once, she doesn't like such private contractors who think they have the right to violate personal rights just because they have power. And Jonathan Irons is one of them, even after hearing how it was driven as a result of his son's death in a war.

First draft of these tune-ups. Who do you think would interact with Kimblee or vice versa due to his moral code?

Omega, Patron Saint of Robotic Psychopaths (The God of Destruction, The Devil Reploid, The Messiah, Zero, Model O)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/omega_mmz_transparent.png
His true body (Spoilers)
  • Note: Tune-up
  • Intermediate God (Greater God bonded with the Dark Elf or in his true form)
  • Symbol: His blood-stained cross-sword over a giant Omega symbol
  • Theme Song: The Exiled One - Omega, Omega Battle, Judgement Day, Apocalypse Now, Cannon Ball (Mythos ver.)
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Killer Robots, Ax-Crazy Super Robot, Knight of Cerebus, Declaring Himself As The Messiah Being the exact opposite of "The Messiah", Sword and Gun, Beast of the Apocalypse, Was Sealed In Space For A Century, Simply Programmed To Slaughter, The Berserker, Giant Hands of Doom, Ascended Fridge Horror, Meta Mecha, Evil Counterpart
  • Domains: Technology, War, Bloodlust, Evil, Reveals
  • Followers: Roberto, ED-209, Android 19, Death's Head, Lore
  • Superior: Dr. Weil
  • Allies: Metallix, Khorne, Vile, Nu-13, Grima, Broly(LSS), Majin Buu, Dark Danny, Gregor Clegane, Deathwing the Destroyer
  • Rivals: Metal Sonic
  • Enemies: Every other Mega Man deity (top of the list is Zero (original consciousness of Omega's body)), virtually everyone not mentioned under "allies" (especially peaceful robots). Notable enemies include Vegeta, John Connor, The T-800(Uncle Bob), Danny Fenton, Guts, Knight Gundam, Naofumi's Party, Roy Greenhilt, Ky Kiske and just about every other knight in the pantheon, E-123 Omega (and most, if not all Sonic the Hedgehog deities), most of his own House of Technology, the House of Zombies
  • Feared by: Doctor Albert Wily (creator of his physical body)
  • As he is known, Omega was part of Dr Weil's Project Elpizo; using a combination of the Mother Elf and Omega, mankind could assert control over Reploid-kind and avoid more Maverick Wars. As the main cause of reploid aggression, the Sigma/Maverick Virus, was eliminated, this was denied. Instead Weil used Omega as his weapon in the Elf Wars, envisioning him as a perfect ruler. Weil lost the Elf Wars, and both he and Omega were sent in isolation. But a century later Omega returned, as did Dr Weil's hopes of getting back at the world.
  • His ascent to the Pantheon was a result of being the most dangerous and outright blood thirsty of all killer robots. Witnessing Omega cause so much death and destruction in the Elf Wars pleased Khorne greatly, so he rewarded Omega with godhood. His large "evil knight" form (shown here) is only a fraction of his true killing power. The true form of him is that of the body of original Zero, now acting as a Berserker. Guts, the Black Swordsman, fears he may become something like Omega if he ever lets the Beast of Darkness take control of him.
  • The Mountain that Rides is the only knight that likes Omega. Guess why. Of course, it should be noted that this is specifically the Omega under Dr Weil's control. E-123 Omega, while enjoying mass destruction, believes Omega is an unstable psychopath. He also doesn't respect how Omega is a willing servant to Dr Weil, compared to E-123's more rebellious streak.
  • The black sheep of his own house, due to his sheer murderous personality. The GUAM only tolerates him as a tool, and the potential to utilize him in conjecture with the Mother/Dark Elf. SKYNET barely tolerates it and sighting the being as unstable, which is rather hypocritical due to how psychotic SKYNET is. Most think the real reason SKYNET keeps Omega around is to hijack him and use the Dark Elf to take control of the rest of the GUAM and all machines.
  • Omega has claimed to be the Messiah. For very obvious reasons, no-one believes him. Damien Thorn derides the idea of him being the opposite either, pointing out he is too mindlessly violent to fill such shoes. Weil considers him to be a god of destruction, something Beerus simply rolled his eyes at. He's more the insane destroyer that the pure Majin Buu is. Omega ended up facing off with Vegeta... and likes experiencing fear.
  • He has recently been seen with and often sparring with Metal Sonic. Some believed that they are planning to betray their makers, team up, kill their mortal enemies, Sonic and Zero, and take over the Pantheon. However Metal has found him too unstable even for him. Metallix, however, found a kindred spirit in the two being absolute psychopaths.
  • Omega recently caught the attention of Grima and made one of his allies, along with Metal Sonic. Apparently, they will both play a key role in whatever plan Grima has made. Will play a role in the Pantheonic Rebellion as one of Grima's warriors, alongside Metal. He sees this as the ultimate opportunity to do as he always desired: Destroy Zero and the Pantheon as a whole. As part of his ambition for mass bloodshed and destruction, Omega has joined with the original Broly, Nu-13 and Deathwing. Also Vile, the only other Mega Man deity willing and violent enough to work with him.
  • Is annoyed by Vent & Aile, as two humans managed to do what none aside from Zero and X had and defeated him (albeit a replica). He also despises the fact they gained a Biometal containing his power as a result, seeing it as an insult to his title as a God of Destruction.
  • Despite being a rival, Metal's "clone complex" and obsession with being the real Sonic has him be oddly understanding of Omega's hatred towards Zero. So does Dark Danny, who's as willingly psychotic and murderous as Omega. The reason? Omega's true form is Zero's original body. However it's clear that Zero's heart and soul is what matters, not the body a new A.I is piloting. In spite of being what he wanted Zero to be, Dr. Wily is horrified by Omega's existence. Less charitably, one could argue his horror is a mix of Pragmatic Villainy and being enraged that Weil turned the body of his masterpiece into his mindless berserker knight.
  • There's a Lighter and Softer manga where Omega isn't related to Zero, and is just a normal Reploid. Also happens to be afraid of zombies. Mentioning this causes Omega to fly into a rage and has been assaulting the House of Zombies in response.

Solf J. Kimblee, God of Creating Explosions (The Crimson Alchemist, Red Lotus Alchemist, Mad Bomber)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/solf_j_kimblee_4.png
  • Note: Tune-up
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The alchemical symbols of the sun and moon
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil by normal standards, Blue-and-Orange Morality overall
  • Portfolio: Mad Bomber, wearing a suit in combat, Blue-and-Orange Morality, remembering his victims, Loves the Sound of Screaming, having standards in the midst of villainy, Sociopaths With A Code
  • Domains: Explosions, Philosophy, Honor, Killing
  • Followers: Mr. 5, Bakugami, Combustion Man
  • Allies: Whichever side he'd like to see win, Yoshikage Kira, Deidara, Dante, Ladd Russo
  • Complicated opinion on: Hunter Zolomon
  • Respects: All those who stay true to their code, whatever it may be, Lucifer
  • Enemies: Any and all Hypocrites (top of the list is Pride and Chiaki Hayasi, Isamu Nitta and Hikawa), Ethan Roark Junior, pedophiles and cowards. Also, SCAR
  • Solf J. Kimblee is the Crimson Alchemist, a former State Alchemist now working under Fuhrer King Bradley. A high-functioning sociopath, his unique combustive alchemy allows him to create explosions through the transmutation circles on his palms. Though a Mad Bomber and Sadist, Kimblee is also a sincerely charming and thoughtful man with a respect for conviction.
  • Kimblee's presence in the Pantheon leaves many gods on edge. No one's entirely sure what to make of his thought process. Edward Elric has brought up how Kimblee helped him out once, because the latter felt as if Edward's opponent didn't deserve to win (by being a hypocrite) and sabotaged things so Ed would come out on top. In light of this, Kimblee's loyalty is seen as variable, thus the Grand United Alliance of Evil are hesitant to approach him. That said, Ed and his brother Alphonse stay wary of Kimblee as well. They prefer not to deal with Kimblee if they can, especially given how the former was almost killed by Kimblee the last time they met prior to Kimblee being getting eaten by and taking residence inside Pride.
  • When not using his powers for violence, he likes transmuting objects into toys that resemble explosives, to psych out others in the area. His penchant for explosives has earned him the respect of Yoshikage Kira and Deidara, to the point they plan on engaging in an explosive rampage someday. Trouble is, with Kimblee's odd standards (see below), the targets they'll choose, and when they'll determine this, is a mystery even to them. After dealing with Pride, Kimblee has gained a preference for cutting the arrogant down to size.
  • Not much is known about what makes Kimblee tick. What is known is that committing genocide as a soldier is Just Following Orders. But as a counterpoint, if it goes against a soldier's principles and the soldier refuses to kill, he can respect them for it, just as long as they don't act like they never expected to be asked to kill. Another reason why he doesn't side with the GUAE is their general principle of being selfish and not caring about standards as a whole. He does at least respect members who's "creed" is self-identification in villainy and the superiority of evil, so long as they don't contradict such creed.
  • Though undeniably a sociopath, Kimblee isn't like Johan Liebert; he has morals. He harbors massive disgust towards hypocrites. Ally or enemy, he respects people who hold true to their values. He also doesn't appreciate being mistaken for a pedophile. Of course, this does make one wonder how he would deal with a hypocrite who values hypocrisy itself.
  • Because of his contempt towards the hypocritical, Kimblee doesn't like moral sociopaths if they violate their own code. Light Yagami (considers all killing as crime, except his own), Zamasu (hates mortals for their evils, but believes he is allowed to do so), for example. Kimblee really hates those who represent the Reasons, as they're hypocrites trying to shape the world itself to their vision.
  • When it comes to the gods of the Cardinal Alignments, Kimblee has respect for Lucifer since he is true to his code, respects the human spirit and has belief in strength befitting of his own opinions. He's earnest about it too. He doesn't exactly respect En Sabah Nur because his strength comes from the Celestials, however does think he's better than some wannabe jerk justifiers as Depending on the Writer he applies himself to his own creed. Such "wannabes" include Nazis, who Kimblee regards their "Aryan Master Race" code as utter dribble.
  • Due to Kimblee's abnormal morality, Yu Narukami advises Izanami to not use Kimblee as a standard for defining humanity. This strange morality is why he gets along with Ladd Russo, who loves killing but only ever targets those who don't think they'll die, punishing the arrogant in his own mind. It's something that Kimblee respects.
  • He Loves the Sound of Screaming, and likens it to hearing a lullaby. The Yellow Bastard could relate, however Kimblee immediately found him disgusting because he's a murderous pedophile and this was only compounded by his cowardice. Kefka is welcome to join in, though Kimblee finds him a bit strange overall.
  • Even in the Pantheon, everyone has him on a Last-Name Basis. Some Gods don't even know that his name is Solf, or that he even has a Mysterious Middle Initial. From a distance, others in the Pantheon mistake him for Michael Jackson, due to the white suit and hat.
  • Hunter Zolomon is someone Kimblee has a complicated view on. In general, he respects how he tends to stick by his code of "improving" superheroes through tragedy. However, Zolomon isn't interested much at Kimblee. Also, he does point out he is a minor hypocrite for excluding his ex-wife in his code. Then again, it's something empathetic about the guy. They can relate to each other in frustration that their counterparts lack their prime selves' nuances.
  • One thing, and only one thing alone has ever caused Kimblee to scream in fear and agony.

[up][up] Megumin would likely be interested in Kimblee's explosion powers, as she is an explosion enthusiast.

[up] Speaking about your sandbox, I could try to rework Shulk into something more acceptable.

[down] I put him in my sandbox. I'll work on him after the remake releases.

Possible request but may I demote the Fallout deities (The Sole Survivor, The Courier, Joshua Graham, Robert House, the Dogmeats, Father Elijah, Arthur Maxson), all Call of Duty deities and possibly John Wick and Ethan Hunt to demigods, as according to the list of Demigods: They fit the Badass Normal types. They have no superpowers but make it up for strategic planning. Also, The Sole Survivor is extremely outdated. Do we delete the profile or will someone salvage it?

Also, Artyom's turn to shine. Are there apocalyptic deities I missed? Or perhaps Russians I also missed? Also, has anyone had experience with Radiation, or even usage of Nuclear Bombs?

  • Portfolio: A silent protagonist who is the last hope of the Metro (but was chosen poorly), a member of the Ranger Order until he resigns from the order, not affected by mind-based phenomena thanks to his interactions with the Dark Ones as a child, often suffering numerous times but survives it all due to sheer luck, taught to look after someone you saved by his foster father, never seen face-by-face, confirmed to be blood type AB Positive, filled with guilt and disillusioned as he realizes the horrors of slaughtering the Dark Ones and has been trying to amend for his mistakes ever since, tired of the Metro inhabitants' complacency and decides to make an exodus from the tunnels
  • Domains: Post-Apocalypses, the Metro, Russians, Rangers, Faceless Heroes
  • Heralds: Anna Sviatoslavovna Mel'nikova (his wife), Captain Miller, Homer, and the rest of the Aurora Crew
  • High Priest: Hardcore Henry

  • Enemies: Vladimir Makarov, Imran Zakhaev, Nikita Dragovich, Father Elijah, Immortan Joe
  • July 6, 2013. The Great War or World War 3 happened. When a nuclear exchange in the Middle East goes awry, all countries reacted on a global scale. This conflict launched numerous nuclear warheads all over the globe, and chief among those that were heavily affected was Russia, with everything within it destroyed from the war. Those that remained after the war survived through the Post-Apocalyptic Metro System and would live there ever since, as the mainland has turned into a nuclear dust bowl, filled to the brim with unimaginable horrors and phenomena. Enter Artyom, one of the very survivors who was raised and lived through these tight tunnels. Throughout his lifetime, he has experienced many of the problems the inhabitants have with their living, often venting out his frustrations via diaries and journals, all while keeping silent in his journey. Said silence would not last as his actions around the Metro not only caused tons of damage towards the population, alongside the continuous fighting against the Red Line, Rangers of the "SPARTA" Order and the Fourth Reich and his original slaughter of the Dark Ones would put him into a series of events that would lead to him being the last light of humanity.
    • Following the intensified attacks between the warring factions and their vying control over the entire Metro, he and the Rangers would defend these attacks and after their near loss by the Reds, would be saved by an untimely intervention by the surviving Dark Ones. Even after that, he and a handful of Rangers would find a train that would finally leave the Metro as he has grown fed up with the mentality of the remaining Metro citizens and the discovery of a conspiracy that controls the Metro and its inhabitants, thus reaching to him and the Spartans' exodus from their shelter and into the post-apocalyptic wasteland that is Russia.
  • The Pantheon went on full alert when an alarm was set off in the Dominions. There they went to the Metro system where the source of the alarm was found, possibly to eliminate any intruder that contacted the Pantheon grounds without authority. Suddenly, a truck was found moving out of the entrance, in which it stopped and a man with a gas mask stepped down with him and the rest of the passengers. After eventual capture, the security team noted how each of the passengers of the truck felt shaken, as they have been in the Metro for who knows how long.
    • There, when the team returned to the Court of the Gods for reporting, they were able to identify the person in charge. As it turns out, it was Artyom, who was leaving the Metro alongside his compatriot Rangers and his wife Anna. She detailed how the Metro was starting to become much harder to live in and that after much planning with her husband, he decided to move out and venture to the outside where he would find new life outside the tunnels. The moment he entered the Pantheon grounds, he would be happy to see that there was indeed life outside the Metro, and after the Council gathered all of Artyom's memories to see what he has witnessed, they decided to give him a position into the new world, all while giving the rest of the passengers as his heralds.
  • While it would make sense for Artyom to make the Metro system as his temple, he has declined, instead asking for a new temple where he could at the very least have some peace. His request was granted and with it was also built a train railway system so that he could supply the rest of the Aurora. He believes that his stay in the Pantheon will be temporary as he has more responsibilities to do now that he has ventured into the outside world and is willing to explore what lies further beyond the wastelands.
    • At the same time, someone from the construction team thought it would be a good idea to build a small tunnel that would lead straight into the bowels of the Metro. It took a few days for Artyom and company to realize this and later, their temple would be swarmed with mutants. After the cleanup, he was found stressed and angry at the fact someone connected his temple to the very tunnels. This would be very useful to bring more people into the outside but putting it in the deeper uninhabited aspects of the tunnels was not the brightest of ideas.
  • Under request from the Pantheon, he is the sole guardian of the Metro Systems. Its not the prettiest job but someone has to do it, especially if said person has the knowledge to traverse it. Tedious but understandable, he is the only person who knows how to access it and its key areas. He is also there to keep an eye out on anyone attempting to smuggle weapons outside the tunnels, because the last thing he needs is another conflict within the tunnels, as if Nazis and Communists weren't bad enough.
  • With the installed temple and the return of the Aurora, there was a talk on whether interacting with other deities would benefit them from their journey, as he and the crew are not done yet and are possibly planning to free the people of the Metro from the Invisible Watchers. While Artyom was hesitant, Anna and Miller insisted he should try as he always wanted to discover what was on the outside. After overcoming his sour mood, he would stretch the train to different parts of the Pantheon, in the hopes of seeing amicable deities he could meet.
    • The first thing he saw was a sight he did not want: Americans. Why you ask? Well, they were the same country that turned Russia into a nuclear wasteland back in 2013. Even his crew were not happy seeing such sight, but after much experience and similarity, they've warmed up and are tolerable towards them, if not albeit cautious. They don't want the same hostility their universe already shares.
  • On the topic of American wastelanders, the crew was shocked to hear of a war-torn and nuclear waste America, just like their own. When they looked further into it, they started being jealous on how the Americans still gain such technology from a apocalyptic standpoint, even their own population had to scavenge old weapons and bullets just for self-defense. Meeting with said deities from the universe has its own ups and downs, as some would see understandings between certain characters and others who they perceive as threats.
    • On survivors, first impressions came by the Courier and Joshua Graham, when they met after his first landing in the Mojave Wasteland. For once, he was actually interacting with them, though he was pretty much mute on those moments. After the introduction of the Aurora, both of them declined, stating that their actions have sealed their fate in the desert and that they are bound to it. Joshua however wishes them a safe trip and that hopefully, life on the outskirts would be peaceful as there is nothing worth noting in these harsh wastelands.
    • The train then made a stop into Nuka-World, seeing that there was another populated place in the dilapitated state of America. There was much disappointment and hostility as the inhabitants were not too keen on Russians entering the city. Fortunately, the Sole Survivor greeted them and welcomed the crew into the hub, all while giving them an opportunity to settle in. Things changed when a massive airship suddenly flew above the train and then the Brotherhood of Steel joined in. Then came Arthur Maxson, who overheard them with their greetings. Entrance galore aside, he was only there to aid the Sole Survivor the moment he heard gossip of a Russian train on Nuka-World. Thankfully these were not threats, and after hearing the heroics and responsibilities Artyom took onto his shoulders, he would welcome him. But not before he suddenly stopped as the Ranger would stay still, remembering that NATO are still in WWIII. The only thing Maxson could say when the crew would leave is to stay safe.
    • On those short trips, he did notice a dog following them during their meetings with the survivors. Each different in look, but all had the name "Dogmeat" on their collars. For once, Artyom appreciates this because he can see new animals on the wasteland instead of constantly meeting horrid mutations of existing animals, like bears or even fishes to that extent.
    • Not everything was sunshine and rainbows as the wasteland is a cruel place. After meeting with both Joshua and the Courier, there were sudden raids that took a hit on the train, some identifying to be apostles of Father Elijah. The crew fought back hard and with Artyom's intervention, drove them away. Such encounters wouldn't be heard again until their departure from Nuka-World, as another convoy took a strike on them. Driven back once more, he would note Elijah as a threat to them and ordered the Spartans a kill-on-sight to anyone devoted to Elijah's tyranny.
  • America is not the only one to have suffered a major wasteland problem, as it turns out even Australia had a case of the wastelands. Landing within one of the spots, an Interceptor came in with guns drawn, believing to be another one of Immortan Joe's train supply. As Artyom went out to present themselves, both passengers of the car, confirmed to be Imperator Furiosa and Max Rockatansky held him at gunpoint until he showed him the Ranger badge. Seeing as not one of Joe's lackeys, they spared him and asked if they are willing to help bring down the tyrant. Seeing as how he has experiences with such, he agreed, on the condition that they also earn some form of repayment for taking Immortan down. This lead to a mutual deal between the Rangers and the duo.
  • Sometimes, the feared ones are not the foreigners but their own countrymen. That was the lessen Artyom learned when he saw the sudden evil Russian stereotype spread out across the Pantheon. At first it was a joke according to him and Anna, but it turned out that such stereotype came with good reason as some Russians are more dangerous than others, and all fingers point to one man: Vladimir Makarov. The same person who nuked the US Military into oblivion wants to scavenge weapons for the Ultranationalists within the Metro tunnels, alongside his compatriot Imran Zakhaev. To him, having a Neo-Nazi Russian and Communist factions was already hard enough but having an active worldwide terrorist group hunt you down all for the sake of the tunnels already makes a harder job much much more troublesome.
    • It did not help another Russian renegade drew his attention, and his chemical weapons already gives a bad sign. When Nikita Dragovich made his call to him for recruitment, Miller disturbed his call and told him to "проваливай отсюда!" Translation . Bad move, as his Soviet forces nearly cornered the Aurora and outnumbered them. That was until he stepped in and dealt with all threats accordingly. At the end of the day Dragovich received multiple casualties and learned a lesson not to mess with a One-Man Army, especially one who has been adept at the worst of situations.
    • He is not alone though, outside of his crew, the Heavy Weapons Guy volunteered to help him in his safeguard of the tunnels. He isn't going to let the country be known for just terrorism only. On the other hand, after much interaction, both Heavy and Artyom understands the burden of taking care of a family, though the former gets spared for being the sibling that carries his family while he has to be both a Ranger, explorer and a father/husband all at the same time.
  • In the Metro universe, living in Russia is pure suffering as the surface is filled to the brim with anomalies and radiation and the undergrounds are no better, occupied with Neo-Nazis, Communists, bandits or worse. This disheartened Zarya because her Russian society was still strong and that her defense of the Motherland actually proved something. To see that version of Russia be turned into a nuclear wasteland gave her nightmares of her own suffering the same fate.
  • "I was filled with doubt. We had already scorched the Earth once. Now, the fire was in my hands, and I had to carry it through."

Iustitia enim omnium deorumnote
The department's motto

The House of Justice isn't the Pantheon's local police force. Criminal matters were usually left to the various police officers, detectives and law enforcers in the Pantheon who kept largely to themselves even after the police headquarters was constructed. Many deities tried and failed to establish a proper law enforcement body due to violent opposition from the House of Crime. Several survived to become the Pantheonic Time Police (House of Time And Space), the DFD Security Forces (Dressed For Divinity security), First Bank of the Pantheon Police (House of Commerce) and the Pantheon Military Police Brigade (House of War).

Four high-ranking members deities of justice; Sam Vimes, Jim Gordon, Godot and Lady Justice (no longer in the Pantheon) officially founded the Pantheonic Police Department employing ascended and non-ascended police officers alike, as long as they are honourable and trustworthy (at least that's their aim). Teams like the Virtua Cops and the Delta Cops have since been folded into the PPD structure. The Pantheon is divided into 65 police precincts.

Dubbed 'The Pearly Golds' for their stark white dress uniforms with gold stars, the highest-ranking officers command the police department and also regulate certain problem areas in the Pantheon. Corruption is completely absent at this level of command, despite the fact that some of its members may engage in morally ambiguous deeds.

The Bluenecks

Headquarters: TPPD 12th Precinct (House of Crime)

The Patrol Bureau of the TPPD is by far the most visible and well-known. While most officers dress in plainclothes, the navy blue uniforms/livery used by the bureau's otherwise nondescript officers and 501st clones attached to the bureau have earned them the nickname 'Bluenecks'. Taking duty from the 501st Legion which until then handled patrol duties in the Pantheon, patrol officers are ready to respond to deities' concerns. They're excellent with most ordinary crimes, though things like Eldritch Abominations are best left to Special Ops.

The Hardboiled Handlers

Headquarters: TPPD 27th Precinct (House of Knowledge)

The second largest bureau of the TPPD has a lot of its most celebrated members. The Detective Bureau performs crime scene investigations, forensic work, criminology and plenty of other investigative work. What's most well-known about them is their rivalry (friendly or otherwise) with private detectives like Sherlock Holmes who constantly interfere in their work. Needless to say, there's a lot of blood involved, especially in a place like the Pantheon, so prospective investigators should have a strong stomach.

Riot control, SWAT and special police units specific to the Pantheon makes Special Ops a regular port of call for patrol, even having their own detectives unit separate from the Detective Bureau. They take care of anything that isn't a normal duty of the police, i.e. Eldritch Abominations, cosmic-level threats, aliens, and the GUAs.

The Police Intelligence, Tactical Covert Operations and Highly Bureau (PITCH) is probably the most secretive branch of the police, and for good reason. The number of evil organizations and secret societies influencing events for their own gain necessitates that this bureau always has to be many steps ahead. Even the Chief doesn't know what these guys get up to aside from the routine reports sent from the front desk. At least 90% of good-aligned agents in the Pantheon report to PITCH in addition to their in-universe bodies, meaning that they have access to information the department and even the GUAG Intelligence Division don't know. Even more are non-ascendants kept off the books, so who knows how much PITCH knows...

CLASSIFIED! While publicly claiming to be the TPPD's intelligence and counter-intelligence arm, it actually serves as a proxy organization funded by the more unsavoury members of the Council of Shadows (Keel Lorenz among them). They manipulate the organization's policies for their own ends. What their endgame (or endgames) is remains unknown, but the department for the most part remains mostly unaware because the Council's shadowplay hasn't yet impacted the performance of the branch.

I know one of the original plans for the Sonic/Megaman crossover was to have Bass and Metal Sonic fuse together. Why not do the same for Omega and Metal Sonic? Also, a newcomer might be interested in Omega's sword.

Ha ha ha. What a story, Mark.

Some of COD deities are One-Man Army type or even exceptional like Mason so a few of those should stay Lesser.

@Hamana, some of those gods, like the Fallout protagonist, some of the Call of Duty charactera and John Wick are either One Man Armies or Walking Armories, some are both. Lesser God sounds about right.

Maxson can go down to demi, Dogmeat is demi already so the point is moot.

I do genuinely question The Courier, Joshua Graham becoming Demi. You could make the argument of them becoming lesser. The Courier canonically gets cybernetics from not only the main game but also from their time with The Think Tank. In the Fallout universe their tech is one of the most advanced in the Wastes existing before the War and being spared from the bombs being dropped.

A stronger arugment can be made for Joshua Graham who, meanwhile, was burned alive by Caesar's Legion and thrown off the Grand Canyon. Now, there are many reports of people falling from great heights you can read across the Internet (I even recall one with a pregnant woman who hit the ground face first. IIRC the kid inside survived too bizarrely enough) but in addition to recovering from a fall he also traveled from there to New Canaan which is based in Odgen, Utah.

I did a quick google and it told me the distance would be 394.6 miles on foot. In addition to the distance he's still suffering from said wounds and fending off Legionary assassins (iirc Caesar had an inkling even his execution didn't kill him given prior experience) and other dangers along the way like raiders or wildlife and such.

Before that, as a Legate of Caesar's Legion he was also reported to be assassinated multiple times only to appear again like nothing happened. In the First Battle for Hoover Dam he even was present leading the army and was lured into Boulder City where his enemies blew it to high heaven, taking the lives of many Legionaries and forcing a retreat. Again, he survived that, and Caesar wasn't pleased to see his face again for such a blunder leading to his "execution" at the Grand Canyon above.

All my fault, you say...? What fault? I daresay it's all thanks to me.

One-Man Army isn't necessarily a superpower. So I think its justified to let them stay at Demi. Afterall, most peak-humans stick to that level because Lesser Gods have at least one superpower to back them up. Also, what do we do with the Sole Survivor? Extremely outdated and lacking in complete polish. Is it worth to delete?

Also, I got ignored against regarding Artyom. Are there apocalyptic deities I missed? Or perhaps Russians I also missed? Also, has anyone had experience with Radiation, or even usage of Nuclear Bombs?

[up] True that it isn't, but there's a difference between being a Badass Normal, and being able to single handily fight an army. Plus then with what you're saying we'd have to demote a lot of gods. Also I think it's safe to have the The Sole Survivor reworked. As for Russians, there's Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Soda Popinski and Future Trunks comes from a Bad Future, So I think that could work.

On a slightly different note, can I promote Bruce Banner/The Hulk to Greater God? From day one he's crushed the US militarily. He's been described as a Force of Nature and even the weakest of Hulk's are Physical Gods.

Shouldn't Bruce be already Greater considering the being known as Worldbreaker Hulk? I guess his upgrades have already been due.

Also, that's my intention because if we look at the ranking system, Demigods are basically peak-humans who are either skilled soldiers with regiment training or weak people that are compensated by their intelligence. The only person I can think that are exceptions to this are Kane as he is immortal even by his C&C's own standards. As for Quasideities, well, they'e just humans with no combat role whatsoever. This has been an elephant in the room and honestly, should we deviate from the original D&D structure and rework the system or fix up the profiles to better fit the ranking system?

Demotions have been given to The Sole Survivor (though he needs a rework or risk a replacement), Father Elijah and Arthur Maxson, all to demigod status. Robert House will be dealt with by Crownless' rework and I have left the Courier and Graham up to anyone's discretion in the meantime.

On the subject of power levels, Genos, Patron Saint of Life Debts as a Greater God. Intermediate God seems better as the point of his character is his power is outclassed in-series by Greater Gods Saitama and Tatsumaki. It fits the scale of Genos' powers (upper limit of city scale) compared to them (easily best nation-scale threats). I'll change unless I hear anything.

[up] He is still Greater God level, it's just that he constantly goes against Greater God level foes and gets his ass handed to him because of that.

Remember, he is a S-Rank hero

[up]How are S-Rank automatically Greater-tier? In-universe classifications doesn't necessarily mean they fit the Pantheons. Intermediate God Sea King beat Genos in an even fight showing they have comparable power levels. S-Rank also includes Badass Normals which our classification system would put at Intermediate tops.

That he keeps getting, and is portrayed as, utterly outclassed by Greater level gods, but fights evenly with Intermediate, shows he is and is meant as a lower tier. What feats of power has he done putting him at national-scale power that's the minimum for Greater?

[up] Sea King is Greater in the rain.

Genos blew up an entire city district the first time we see him. Issue with Genos is that while he’s extremely powerful, he’s fragile as hitting the exhaust port of the Death Star. While I’m sure S-Class heroes are Intermediate level at the least, remember, the top A isn’t letting anyone in S

[up] 1. Sea King beat Genos without his rain powered up form. 2. Blowing up a city as an upper limit to their powerrs is Intermediate. Centichoro, who could easily destroy multiple cities putting them at Greater, was able to completely No-Sell an upgraded Genos at full power showing Greater is something above his power.
