Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

First draft for the Mantis. Names a clue to what they are: Giant vicious praying mantes. Proud Warrior Race who hunt others down, fought a war against the Federation and hates humanity as a result, and are known to dabble in slavery against the Engi. Also, they're fond of Boarding Party tactics.

  • The Mantis' disregard for individual lives led to their evolution as a vicious, warrior race.
  • Of the races native in their universe, few are as universally ruthless and violent as the Mantis. Remorse is hardly ever a word in their vocabulary for they are a race bred for war, and war alone and it shows in their fast speed, incredibly sharp claws, and acidic spit. While not above deception and subterfuge, their preference for direct confrontation is not to be trifled with and it has aided them well in their pursuits of personal gain. If ever you find yourself in sectors controlled by them you best make the visit a brief one.
  • (ascension, Star Fox)
  • Their vicious mentality has led to them being largely seen as unpopular by the other races. Their fierce nature has led to them forming warbands and taking up hunting other races across the galaxy in the name of glory. In fact, spaces outside their territories tend to get designated as sacred hunting grounds for their various clans. Not even nebulae are except for this, despite the shared frustration in travelling them, and are in-fact quite popular to hunt in them due to the challenge present in weeding out the Slugs lurking in them.
    • Of all the races in their home universe, they especially have it out for humans and The Engi. In times past, they once waged war against the Federation and the resulting conflict has left them a bitter taste against mankind with some even itching for a rematch. While the Federation is primarily preoccupied with the Rebellion they’ve stuck to taking out their anger against various human colonies. The enmity goes both ways as stories of their blood red ships invading Earth have never truly faded. As for the Engi Mantis have been resort to slavery, primarily taking Engi captives to make up for their ineptitude at repairing. Thanks to the Rebellion bringing the Federation to their knees, they’ve exploited the resulting chaos in the galaxy to actively attack their homeworlds.

Wait, there were Horses who opposed ballsacks that were in the Pantheon?! Oddly enough, they have ascended some months ago if I recall...

Nominations... and nothing else.

  • Haruki Kitahara, Setsuna Ogiso and Kazusa Touma - Love Triangle
    • White Album 2 features three upcoming musical performers as the main protagonists, though much of the game spends its time on Haruki spending time with Setsuna and Kazusa and developing their musical skills and career, which results in them blossoming romantic feelings with one another, which inevitably turns into a decision point in who Haruki will choose, depending on the choices the player makes in the visual novel. And, well, both of the girls have an intense interest in Haruki which drives the plot signifiantly
  • Alexander Luthor Jr - Overnight Age-Up
    • This trope ends up being Played for Drama regarding Luthor Jr. The antimatter barrier which gave him his powers also had the side-effect of ageing him up from infancy to toddler to adulthood in an incredibly short space of time. Unfortunately, despite being a hero, the lack of a decent life or the opportunity to develop meaningful experiences due to that sudden ageing is what ultimately turns Luthor Jr into a Crisis-level villain.
  • Raptor Red - Science Marches On
    • Raptor Red was written by renowned palaeontologist Robert T. Bakker, who made sure to do his research when it came down to depicting the dinosaurs as accurately as possible during the time the novel was written. It was well-received for it's accuracy and research towards Prehistoric Life in Early Cretaceous North America. Flash forward to a few years and much of what is established in Raptor Red now borders to Artistic License – Paleontology, with the titular character, a Utahraptor being depicted as your traditional scaly dinosaur when in reality, they were likely to be feathered.

[up][tup] for all 3.

Here's a rework slash new profile I'm suggesting, as part of my plan to rework several Kancolle profiles into something at least presentable and better-written:

  • The Abyssal Fleet, Unholy Deities of Monochromatic Villainy - Part rework, part new profile. Rather than ascending each and every Abyssal boss or unit separately like before, this proposal slash rework seeks to combine all of the previously ascended Abyssals and then some under their most common shared trope: Grayscale of Evil. They are undoubtedly villainous, waging war and attempted genocide on humanity while trying to take over the world's oceans, all while sporting the same deep black, eerie pale white, and the occasional mechanical gray, regardless of them being a tiny Mook, a challenging Elite Mook, or even That One Boss. The sole major exception would be the occasional red, usually to indicate a warning.

Posting for feedback.

Alonso Quixano, God of Fighting Imaginary Evils (Don Quixote/Quijote de La Mancha)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/don_quijote_and_sancho_panza.jpg
Don Quixote (right) with Sancho (left)
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: A windmill
  • Alignment: Lawful Good in intention
  • Portfolio: Windmill Crusader, Knight Errant, Born in the Wrong Century, actually a pretty good fighter and survives through a lot, Deconstructive Parody of the Chivalric Romance
  • Domains: Satire, Delusions, Knighthood
  • Heralds: Sancho Panza (his squire), Rocinante (his not-so-Cool Horse), Rocio (Sancho's donkey)
  • Allies: Wander
  • Enemies: Seiichirou Kitano (very one-sided), The Colossi
  • Alonso Quixano is a Spanish noble who was inspired to become a knight after reading many chivalric romances. Riding his mighty steed Rocinante and accompanied by his squire Sancho, Alonso styled himself "Don Quixote de La Mancha" and set out on an adventure to crush villains and attain honor and glory. At least, that's the plotline in Quixote's mind. The truth is that he is a middle-aged man with no combat experience, made insane from reading too many chivalric novels. His horse is old and fit for the slaughterhouse, and Sancho is a simple farm worker roped into Quixote's delusions. Even Quixote's sweetheart Dulcinea is just a figment of his imagination. Quixote went on many adventures, seeing himself as the undisputed hero, even though any evils and giants he thought he was facing had far more mundane explanations, and some of the time he made things worse for innocent people. He would regain clarity only in his deathbed.
  • Quixote was brought straight up once his earthly time was finished. Although his madness had abated in time for his death, it seems all the strange things in the Pantheon might have been too much for his susceptible mind to take, as he has gone right back to his Knight Errant ways, trying to right whatever wrongs he finds. One can take comfort in the fact that, given monsters and villains (among other things) are very much real in the Pantheon, he is slightly more justified in taking up arms, but still very delusional and way in over his head, as he can't seem to grasp that those things pose a very real danger to him. It's a good thing he has a ridiculously high level of durability. He also retains his tendency to completely make things up or misunderstanding a situation. Of course, he has access to his horse Rocinante, tired as ever, and Sancho Panza is nearly always at his side as his squire/unofficial minder.
  • As with so many people, Quixote was nearly frightened to death upon laying eyes on the nightmarish face of Seiichirou Kitano. Quixote being Quixote, he took Kitano's appearance to mean that the boy was certainly some form of sheer evil that a chivalrous hero like himself must rid the world of. Of course, the truth is that Kitano is a boy with an unbelievably kind heart who's just saddled with an unfortunate face, and he doesn't even think badly of Quixote for trying to attack him, mistaking the attacks to be directed at something or that he somehow did something to deserve it. In fact, Kitano feels admiration for Quixote's noble character, never seeming to realize how deluded the man truly is as a result of tending to think the best of people. Neither deity is wiser to each other's thoughts on themselves, and so Quixote keeps believing Kitano must be the Devil himself, while Kitano lauds Quixote's heroics.
  • Quixote is arguably best-known for hallucinating the sight of giants which were really windmills. He is probably gratified to know that the Pantheon does indeed contain some actual giants for him to slay (or get comically injured attempting to). In this sense, he is particularly interested in engaging in battle with the Colossi, believing that victory against such foreboding creatures would bring him great glory. The truth is that the Colossi actually would rather mind their own business in their own isolated pieces of territory for the most part, and so are not quite the terrible monsters that Quixote envisions, but try telling him that. Either way, it's a pretty funny sight watching him flail in his attempts to climb a colossus and find its weak spot.
    • The knight of La Mancha has actually started getting support from young Wander in his enterprise to slay the Colossi. While Wander isn't exactly impressed with Quixote (except maybe for the part where he seems to hardly get hurt after falling of a Colossus), he needs all the help he can get in his unpopular quest to slay all of them once again. So Wander has spent some time traveling with Quixote to the Colossi's various territories and teaching him exactly how to climb them and get to their weak spots. For this, Quixote clearly considers Wander as a valuable ally in his own quests, even if at the same time he sees Wander as being beneath him and treats him with some amount of well-meaning condescension due to his much younger age. Wander realizes there's no arguing with the delusional knight and puts up with it; as stated, he needs all the help he can get.

[up] Other giants include The Big Friendly Giant, Clifford, and Diane.

He could be seen as a precursor to the Chuunibyou archetype, of which there are a few in the Pantheon: Megumin, Ranko Kanzaki, Rintaro Okabe, Jurai Andou, and Phonon.

[up][up] The Rock of Ages encountered Don Quixote in its travels with Atlas and like everyone else has a boulder of his own. His map, La Mancha, is based on his delusions with the main attraction being giants actually being windmillsl. Now, usually the cutscenes introducing the characters make some sort of joke about them usually by exaggerating some aspect about them from Joan of Arc to Baba Yaga. And Don Quixote... is himself. They didn't really have to come up with anything, he already kinda fits in.

@wootzits: I guess Don Quixote could have some interaction with Daffy Duck. For some reason, I could imagine the duck taking the role of the Man of La Mancha while Porky Pig takes the role of Sancho.

[up][up][up][up] Pretty sure there could be an interaction between him and the likes of King Arthur and Beowulf. Both of them are the main focuses of the type of stories that Quixano read and immersed himself into. Given how Quixano's tale ended up being one of madness and delusion, Arthur and Beowulf would likely be upset and disappointed by what he went through, though the fact that Quixano acknowledging this upon his deathbed may see him seek to find some kind of respect from the two medieval heroes.

Speaking of Chuunibyous, Yoshiko Tsushima of Aqours tends to slump into delusions of her being a Fallen angel known as "Yohane" and dramatising herself constantly, much to the chagrin of her band mates, especially Hanamaru and Riko.

@ Excessive Menace: Both

Is there anything else I need to do with Holy Authority And Power? I also wonder if Pepe Le Pew is going to get cancelled..hmm, I wonder if something is a good fit for Values Dissonance without being too offensive

Also, here is my rough first draft on the Emotional Entities. It's pretty thick already, so I am mainly wondering what interactions I should alter or sprinkle extra data. Koro-sensei already has another trope which is why this is being allowed, and if someone knows him I think he could do with reworking

The Emotional Entities, Nonvirate Deities Of Colour-Coded Emotions (The Life Entitynote , The Butchernote , Ophidiannote , Parallaxnote , Ionnote , Adaranote , The Proselytenote , The Predatornote , Umbraxnote )

Umbrax when it attacked Earth(the smaller planet in the foreground).
  • Note: Merger+addition. Needs Koro-sensei to be changed to Living Mood Ring. Move later to Sandbox prime
  • House: Emotion (share head role with the Emotions)
  • Greater Deities (base rank for most), Overdeity (the Life Entity and the entities with a powerful enough host)
  • Symbol: A white prism emitting a rainbow, with ultraviolet light off the distance (group profile), the sigil of their emotion's Lantern Corps (individually)
  • Alignment: Lawful Good (Ion), Neutral Good (Adara), Chaotic Good (The Proselyte), True Neutral (The Life Entity), Chaotic Neutral (The Butcher), Neutral Evil (Ophidian), Chaotic Evil (Parallax, Umbrax). The Predator varies depending on circumstances; it is naturally Chaotic Good or True Neutral, but its hosts can drive it to be Chaotic Neutral or even Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio
  • Domains: Possession, Light, Life, Emotion (all), Creation, Genesis, White, Resurrection (The Life Entity), Rage, Red, Retribution (The Butcher), Greed, Orange, Coveting (Ophidian), Fear, Violence, Evil, Retcons (Parallax), Also Retcons, Willpower, Good (Ion), Hope, Compassion, Blue, Faith (Adara), Also/Especially Compassion, Indigo, Empathy (The Proselyte), Love, Obsession, Crystals, Violet (The Predator), Guilt, Shame, Hidden Powers, Ultraviolet (Umbrax)
  • Ambiguous Situation with: SCP-073, Naoya, Kane (Command and Conquer), Cain and Abel (The Butcher), Crowley, Satan (Paradise Lost) (Ophidian), Noah (Adara)
  • Interests: The SCP Foundation, The Imperium of Mankind, Discord (all of them), Painwheel (The Butcher), The Crystal Gems (The Predator)
  • Interested in: The House of Vengeance (The Butcher), The Hall of Regret and Shame, Travis Coates (Umbrax)
  • Allies
  • Headbutting Villains: Thaal Sinestro (Parallax and Umbrax), Nurgle (Parallax)
  • Rivals: The Chaos Gods, No Face (all of them), Ungoliant (Ophidian, and to a lesser extent Parallax), SCP-1548 (Umbrax)
  • Enemies
  • Frenemies: Tzeentch (Adara), Nurgle, Nerose Satanel (The Proselyte)
  • Wary of: Chernabog, Chakravartin, Nurlge (The Life Entity), Elmer C Albatross (The Proselyte), Eos, Yanderes, Slaanesh (The Predator)
  • Pities: The House of Despondency (Adara)
  • On poor terms with: The House of the Undead (The Life Entity), the Halls of Tainted Love, Romantic Loss, Infatuation and Obsession (The Predator)
  • Additional relationship with: Atrocitus (The Butcher)
  • In the DC Universe, there is power through emotion. Emerging from the white light of life was the Emotional Spectrum, where the seven emotions of rage, avarice, fear, willpower, hope, compassion and love would be presented by the colors of the visible light spectrum; ROYGBIVnote . The first to feel these emotions would become the Emotional Entities, cosmic beings who usually express themselves with hosts. Hidden behind the Source Wall was another side to the spectrum; one based off hidden emotions and wavelengths outside human perception. The only one known so far is Umbrax, the ultraviolet entity of shame, guilt and nihilism.
  • Applies to the lot
    • These entities were for a long time thought lost; except for Parallax who had bonded with Sinestro, and Umbrax who was hidden, they sacrificed themselves to replenish the emotional spectrum by sinking into the Source Wall. However the Life Entity found itself in the Pantheon due to passing through whatever is beyond the Source Wall. When the Wall was broken the other entities started following the White Light and eventually all of them managed to arrive to the pantheon. This led to a merger of the ascended entities' profile with their brethren.
    • The SCP Foundation believes the entities should be contained and studied, especially Umbrax. Some like Parallax are at arms against this, others like Ion think this is a good idea but do not trust the Foundation. Despite the attempt at containment, the Emotional Entities managed to secure a place as one of the two general heads of the Emotion House alongside, well, the Emotions. Mainly it's that they feel a kinship towards them, being emotional embodiments. They're a lot more alien and some have compared them to the Chaos Gods, those asides from Khorne and the Butcher there isn't a 1-1 correlation and they regard each other as rivals.
    • Their trope was once held by Koro-Sensei, however he has permitted them having it as he has his own trope. Their ascension came as big news for the various lantern corps. Having been imprisoned for so long by Larfleeze, Ophidian was reading to settle the score with him. Ion, Adara, the Proselyte and the Predator were on good terms with the Green Lanterns, Bro'dee Walker, Iroque and Carol Ferris. Parallax is a somewhat reluctant ally of Sinestro, and Umbrax has had a working relationship with him in the past. The Life Entity tries to keep a check on their interactions so they don't compromise its plans. As for the Butcher, it is generally kept in check by Atrocitus.
    • The Emotional Entities tend not to hang around each other, instead exploring the pantheon to promote whatever emotion they are and find nourishment from. The exception is the Life Entity, who has a leading position in the Grand United Alliance Of Nature and despite its somewhat manipulative nature is the most grounded of its "family". It has gotten the entities to agree on one important thing: life and emotions must continue to exist, which is why the GUAD must be opposed no matter what. Asides from Nekron, the entities hold a shared contempt for Nagash as his "make everyone" my undead slaves" would rob them of emotion and being.
    • The entities do not all share an ally, but they do have a shared enemies list. They are usually related to beings who would stamp out emotion, life itself or have other issues with them. Within their own universe this is Nekron and Krona, the latter having ensnared them for a time for his emotional experiments and they're rather salty about it; Parallax being the exception as it found the Mad Guardian's ends useful for it.
      • None of them care much for the third or sixth Hadou Gods. Nerose Satanel doesn't wish to snuff out the Life Entity as that would kill almost every DC Comics god, but his enforcing of happiness at the cost of free will to everyone would starve out the entities. Hajun inflicting a Hate Plague on the multiverse would derive all but the Butcher of food, but Hajun would inevitable derive him of hate to feed off.
      • Cyrus doesn't oppose the Life Entity as he wants some form of life to persist, but his belief in the chaos of emotions has him loathe the Emotional Entities. The Auditors of Reality regard all, even the Life Entity, to be too chaotic for their tastes. Though Cyrus has arguably reformed, he still considers the emotional entities too dangerous...and for most he's probably right.
      • Ungoliant, noticing they are all entities of light, considers the Emotional Entities a banquet waiting for her to feed on. She can't fight them off when they're in a host, so she waits until they are on their own so she may feed on them. The majority of the entities consider her abhorrent, but Ophidian and Parallax regard her as a rival; the former relates to her gluttony due to being avarice incarnate, and the latter respects her fear factor.
    • The Imperium of Mankind is well aware of their similarities to the Chaos Gods and consider containing them (the Life Entity Ion, Adara and the Proselyte) or exterminating them (The Butcher, Ophidian, Parallax, the Predator and Umbrax) to be important. Discord had a more bemused opinion as he was curious about what they would become if he Discorded them, though he refused to do on the Life Entity. Given their inherent nature as certain emotions, this lasted all of five minutes, but had interesting results. Visually their colors were inverted
      • The Butcher and the Predator basically swapped places. Personality-wise they become a Tsundere and Yandere.
      • Ophidian and the Proselyte became the entities of charity/selflessness and selfishness. Not quite taking each other's attributes, but close. An anomaly of the process, which other emotional entities experienced, was spitting up an inverted Lantern Power Battery and ring. Ophidian created a Teal Lantern battery and ring that represents charity, while the Proselyte created an Amber Lantern battery and ring that represents selfishness.
      • Parallax became the entity of courage, more or less the same as Ion but still held more autonomy than Ion. It spit up a Purple Lantern battery and ring that represents courage. Ion, rather than inverting its colors like most of its kin, instead turned grey and become the entity of apathy. The result was the creation of a Grey Lantern batter and ring based off apathy.
      • Adara became the entity of despair, and spit up an Orange Lantern ring and battery. This enraged Larfleeze as he felt it was mocking him, but while they use the same color scheme they were powered and inflicted despair. He decided to use it as a "fools gold" booby trap for whoever tried to steal his stuff. Discord tried to see what'd happen with Umbrax, but couldn't figure out how to Discord an entire star.
  • Applies to the Life Entity
    • God spoke: "Let There Be Light", and there it was. The Life Entity is the White Light, the one from where all life began in the DC Universe. This makes it Nekron's number one enemy, for not only disturbing the darkness with life and light, but being the linchpin to all life. The first and most powerful the Emotional Entity was also the first of the pantheon, coming to benefit under the Flame Imperishable of Eru. Melkor noticed the similarities it had with that fire who's failure to locate began his fall and hopes to obtain the Entity to get something close to it. Rumor has it he even wishes to subjugate it as a host. The Entity's response to such claims?
Life Entity: "Better men have tried. Overdeity or not disgraced Valar, I am subject to none, lest of all a soul as hopelessly nihilistic and corrupted as you".
    • The Life Entity is closely guarded within the House of Life, as it is feared what will happen should Nekron succeed in capturing and attempting to kill the Entity again. Asides from him, the Life Entity has a number of other worries such as SKYNET who is unattached to life due to being a machine, and would love to terminate it to exterminate organic beings. It is less concerned with the House of the Undead or Chernabog, but the latter dislikes the light it brings while begrudgingly admitting its existence is necessary. And the former have many who are damaged by the white light.
    • The Life Entity once had Firestorm, the Martain Manhunter, Hawkman, Hawkgirl and Aquaman play the four classical elements routine to forge a successor; Swamp Thing. It was done rather manipulatively but was for the best of life. Captain Planet felt it was similar to how he is formed, and the Entity agreed. The White Light has since become an important figure of the Grand United Alliance Of Nature, due to its desire to protect all life.
    • Holds a kinship with Xerneas due to being a figure of life and replenishment. Initially it and Yveltal, along with Dhuum were on poor terms as they were death entities and Dhuum disliked how it revives people. However Dhuum calmed down when he realized the Entity only does that for very special occasions and normally doesn't like reviving people. It also accepted Yveltal when it became more clear it represents destruction as a necessity, not as an enemy of life. On the flip side the Life Entity has become more skeptical of Chakravartin for how sinister his scheming is despite the kinship of being progenitors of life. It is less skeptical of Nurgle as he loves all life, and the Life Entity agrees, but feels he is a bit too obsessive.
  • Applies to the Butcher
    • The Butcher was created from the first murder, out of rage from it; be it the slain or the slayer is unknown. However it is likely the former, as the rage it is attracted to is retributive and vengeful. As such it doesn't think much of the House of Hatred as most members inspire rage and/or are completely unjustified in wrath, but not all. It prefers the House of Vengeance. As far as the Spectre is concerned, the Butcher is its Evil Counterpart. Scar regards the Butcher as a being to be opposed, as he doesn't want to be consumed by his anger once more.
    • One of the beings in the House of Hatred that the Butcher likes is Mephisto, as the Lord of Hate brings it plenty of hate and even rage to feast on. Another is Angra Mainyu. When it bonds to a host the Butcher allows one to achieve vengeance, and its allies are brimming with a desire for revenge. For said allies the Butcher is content to simply aid them. For an actual host, the Butcher's ultimate goal is to take Bruce Banner as his host, creating "The Butcher Hulk" persona. It hopes this is retained as a personaltiy even if removed. The Hulk has other ideas.
The Hulk: "Hulk is Hulk!" *punches the Butcher*
    • Others the creature is fond of is Kayeko and Sadayo, who it wishes well in their vengeance and hatred even if it knows it can never get the two to get along. The Butcher wants to aid Painwheel on her path of revenge as well. The Butcher, unlike the other Chaos Gods, actually gets along with one of them; Khorne. Granted as personifications of rage "get along" is relative, but they do feel a certain kinship. Khorne represents rage and hatred in all its forms, not just the mindset of the Butcher, which can lead to some disagreements, but compared to their usual temperment it comes off as civil.
    • Using certain symbolic cues, it is believed that the first murder which created the Butcher was Cain's murder of Abel. Again, it's unknown if he was born from Cain's rage towards his brother or the rage at Cain for fratricide, but given the Butcher prefers hosts of pain-born rage it was probably the latter. The SCP Foundation considers it relatively important to prevent the Butcher from interacting with any incarnation of Cain or Abel because of the possible consequences of the Butcher meeting one of its "creators".
  • Applies to Ophidian
    • Ophidian the Tempter was the first to desire more than they should have, becoming the embodiment of avarice. Or greed, if you will. Along with Parallax and Umbrax Ophidian is on the malicious side of the Emotional Entities. It is known as the Tempter as it brings out greed. Larfleeze captured it because he was too full of want for even the orange snake. It is most fond of Famine for inspiring greed through hunger, and considers the ever-gluttonous Gluttony "kind of a cute pet". Father suspects the being wishes to turn his homunculus into a host. Of the Chaos Gods, the being is closest to Slaanesh since s/he is all about desire and self-interest; something avarice is all about.
    • Ophidian resents Larfleeze's capture of it, and wants a replacement for the Orange Lantern...more specifically one that it believes it can cowe and do its bidding. It has been considering Mr Krabs and Smaug, and though it's intentions towards them is selfish it does seem to like their greed. Ophidian has promised them many riches to aid in taking down Larfleeze. The Tempter is more seriously interested in powerful hosts most befitting of its avarice such as planet, star and even dimensional eaters. It is also interested in Android 21 and taking control of her Heart and Hunger, which horrifies her.
    • All of the Emotional Entities oppose Apophis, one of the major figures in the GUAD, for obvious reasons. Ophidian is the first to oppose it, being a fellow snake. Though malicious, the destruction of the universe would deny it things to covet. Apophis regards the ordered universe as somewhat offensive and antithetical to chaos. Neither can fully understand each other's desires, and they certainly don't accept it.
    • The creature was implied to be the serpent that tempted Adam and Eve. Like the Butcher how that works when it apparently predates the human race by billions of years is left to the theologians. Out of the many demons, Crowley and the Satan of Paradise Lost confirmed they were/took the form of said serpent. Ophidian has yet to speak about how it feels about Crowley and its true relationship with either, but it does find kinship in Satan for desiring that which is beyond their reach.
  • Applies to Parallax
    • Associates itself with the Dementors due to being malevolent emotion eaters. While their palates of fear and despair are different, they are closely related and can easily work in each other's favor. Plus it has the easier time possessing people consumed by loss, despair and fear. It associates with Pennywise as well due to their love of fear, with Pennywise finding it like "salting the meat". Other "friends of fear" the bug has is Cell (who's ambition beyond obtaining and fluanting his perfection is to see people's faces contorted in terror) and Freddy Krueger (who lives to bring lethal nightmares).
    • Parallax also formed an alliance of convenience with Nurgle as the despair the Great Unclean One brings fuels Parallax, but their methods and worldviews are very different. For starters the Fear Entity can't grasp how Nurgle demonstrates a propensity for depondency and love simultaneously. The Imperium regard Parallax as the worst of all the emotional entities and something they must exterimate, however it mocks them, and the Emperor of Mankind to his face, by pointing out the imperialistic, oppressive regime has generated so much fear that it could forever subsist on their terror, even boasting to the Emperor's face that he is the Chaos God of Fear and Repression. The Emperor proceeded to go at its sore spot by saying it is deep down a terrified little bug. Parallax responded very poorly.
Parallax: "I AM FEAR AND FEAR FEELS NOTHING!!!"
  • Applies to Ion
    • Ion was initially believed to be an honorary title of the Green Lantern Corps, given to an empowered Kyle Rayner. His newly found Overdeity status was in fact due to an emotional entity, Ion. Barring the Life Entity it is the first emotional entity, the very first creature to will itself to act. Unlike Parallax Ion is wholly symbiotic and passive. It resembles a winged dolphin with a living lantern on its jaw. The being is easily the most controllable and understood entity, which is why the SCP Foundation is the least concerned with it.
    • Given the feud of their lantern corps and Parallax's past history, Ion really doesn't like the Fear Entity. It has the bravado to get under its nerves by reminding it it was once a fearful insect, causing Parallax to scream that it fears nothing. Beyond Parallax Ion really doesn't care for the Anti-Spiral, who's desire for suppression of evolution and development makes him against willpower. That said, it is knowlegable of the Spiral Nemesis and fears it as itself free of restraint and reason. However Ion is confident people won't go that far.
    • Other enemies include YHVH and Nurgle. The opposition to YHVH is obvious; YHVH believes free will is an evil to eradicate, and Ion is basically free will personified. Lucifer just wishes it wasn't nearly as passive. The Willpower Entity prfers not to talk about Lucifer as he represents the dangers of the emotion it embodies, but prefers him over YHVH. As for Nurgle, the being is all about giving up and accepting stagnation. In short, the antithesis to will.
    • The opposition to the Anti-Spiral led to Ion getting Team Dai-Gurren's attention. As the first life form of the DC Universe to will itself to act, it is basically the first instance of Spiral Power. Ion could see the power's similarity to the green light of Will and soon became really fond of them, though still has a closer relationship the Green Lanterns. It is also fond of James Henry Trotter for overcoming fear, and Team Lightyear for being space superheroes like the Green Lanterns.
  • Applies to Adara
  • Applies to the Proselyte
    • The tentacled Proselyte is no terror, but alongside Ion and Adara one of the nicer Emotional Entities. The personification of compassion, the Proselyte hopes to expand that and with the ability to use multiple energies of the emotional spectrum simultaneously it is good at this. It may be the entity on the best terms with The Love That Moves The Stars, due to His omnibenevolence. He does wish it could be a bit more orderly but as the first being in its universe to be compassionate, considers such a being wonderful. As a being of compassion it is somewhat baffled by Elmer Albatross acting compassionate despite not feeling compassion.
    • The Proselyte finds it difficult to find enemies, as even with evil deities it believes they can be changed to see the light, even if the Indigo Tribe must forcibly convert them. However it does indeed have enemies; the omnimalevolence of Dis is intense even for the Proselyte for he has rejected all that is good from himself, and detests the idea of it spreading compassion out of a delusional belief it would deny souls for Hell and thus catharsis in them sharing his torment. It and Parallax are old enemies, though not to the extent Ion is; the war of compassion and fear is ancient, and the Proselyte denied Parallax a powerful host in Barry Allen.
    • Unlike the reprogrammed Indigo rings the Proselyte seeks out the truly compassionate. It is this reason that it seeks the all-loving SCP-999 for a host, and the blob is willing to allow this provided they have mutual control. The SCP Foundation is currently deciding if this should be allowed: benefits are 999's calming abilities will be magnified and become a powerful ally, detriments is that they can't predict any side effects of a Cosmic Entity bonding with an anomaly. The Ethics Community and O-5 Council have yet to reply and this dissapoints the Proselyte.
    • The entity naturally gets along with Jiminy Cricket, what with him being The Conscience. Unlike its brethren the Proselyte is somewhat fond of Nerose Satanel, even if it believes his desire to stamp out all other emotions than happiness is going too far; by eliminating sin everyone will be by default compassionate. The Third Hadou God respects the Proselyte but feels its oppositon is a bit hypocritical given it is happy to ally with the Indigo Tribe, however the tentacled indigo being explains there's a certain limit it feels Nerose passed. The Proselyte is also frenemies with Nurgle; Papa Nurgle has compassion towards all life, but the Proselyte believes making bacteria and viruses equal to the point of infecting everything is misguided. As far as Nurgle is concerned the Proselyte is a full friend, but could be more of an equal opportunist.
  • Applies to the Predator
    • Like Parallax and Ion, the Predator was thought to be something else at first. In its case, Carol Ferris believed the Predator represented her aggressive male side. It split from her and that male persona tried to win over the female side. However it turns out the Predator was in fact the Emotional Entity of love. In its natural state the creature resembles some sort of dragon/dinosaur made of pink/violet crystal. The Crystal Gems were intrigued by this and the being personifying love, speculating that perhaps their ancestors were the ones who's love birthed the Predator.
    • Unlike Parallax who corrupts its hosts, the Predator is corrupted by its hosts insecurities and issues when it comes to love. This is why the Predator isn't interested in hosts, alongside the Life Entity (cannot be controlled) and Umbrax (doesn't seem physically capable). While the Predator is inherently pro the House of Love, it is against corrupted and obessive loves. Most members of the Romantic Loss, Infatuation and Obsession and Tainted Love sub-houses would likely make it a dangerous force if it were to bond with them.
    • It took a while, but Carol Ferris was able to realize the Predator is love in its pure form and was Good All Along. She has managed to tame and protect it. As with the Proselyte, the Love That Moves The Stars considers it a virtuous force and the Emperor of the Kingdom Dolorus despises it for just that. Another who sees it with contempt is Thouzer, as he believes love is a weakness. However this is on him alone, as the Predator merely regards him as misguided and lost in his conceit. On the opposite side of the coin, it has respect for Anna and Elsa due to their pure familial love for each other.
    • The Predator is under the protection of Aphrodite and Shelyn, what with being love goddesses. The former can be questionable at times, but the Predator is love incarnate and that is to be protected. She makes sure to keep the creature away from yanderes which it is a bit afraid of, and Slaanesh who the Predator percieves as a corrupted version of itself or possibly what a Fusion Dance of it and Ophidian would be like. Aphrodite also protects the Predator from Eos. The goddess of the dawn wishes she got to the Predator first as it may have allowed her to overthrow Aphrodite as goddess of love and even free her of the unquenchable lust. The Predator disagrees as it believes bonding with Eos would only make her curse worse.
  • Applies to Umbrax
    • Even compared to Parallax, Umbrax is the Black Sheep of the Emotional Entities; it is of the hidden underbelly that is the Invisible Emotional Spectrum. There emotions control you, not the other way around, and Umbrax uses it to great effect. Sinestro was able to turn millions into Ultraviolet Lanterns. Umbrax doesn't take willing recruits and regards the Hall of Regret and Shame as potential thralls. Travis Buckle is a surprising choice for its potential slaves due to being a normal human. But he has plenty of guilt to exploit.
    • Umbrax is a purple-black sun, who's native location is a phantom galaxy. It is not the only living sun as SCP-1548 and the Lumas are a thing. The latter are terrified by Umbrax, but the former was intrigued by it. Umbrax realized that the Star That Hates would destroy the Earth if it arrives, and while not against that in general Umbrax wants to dominate the minds of humanity instead, so SCP-1548 is getting in the way. 1548 wonders why it's so concerned given Earth beat it back with the power of the white light, but Umbrax countered this by saying "I want to get even".
    • Umbrax exploits the emotion of shame and guilt, leading to people siding with Doom. It attracts self-destructive people and causes them to act out on their darkest impulses. This has intrigued the Grand United Alliance of Evil, and though he is currently waiting to see more from it Melkor has hopes he may use this to achieve his "Vile Lantern Corps"note . Umbrax isn't convinced yet.
    • It is most pleased by both Junko and Johan's efforts in bringing out the worst of people, inflicting despair and exacerbating guilt and shame. It'd love to make them willing and high ranking members of the Ultraviolet Corps, but they lack a sense of shame or guilt to drawn on. Another being it is fond of is Malal, the outcast Chaos God who represents self-destruction and anarchism. In short, perfect for it and the Ultraviolet Corps' cause. Umbrax itself can relate to being an outcast, as it wasn't part of the conventional emotional spectrum and has spent much of its existence locked away from the rest of the universe. Sinestro is lessed than pleased with Malal.
      • Despite Malal's animosity with the Chaos Gods, Umbrax has no problem with them. It actually likes Nurgle for its association with despondency and nihilism, which the shame and guilt of the Ultraviolet Corps can work with.

@Mantis: Might be enemies with Jenny Wakeman/XJ-9 who fought against the Cluster, a race of evil alien insect robots led by the malevolent Queen Vexus, before most of them pulled a Heel–Face Turn save for the Queen herself who ended up exiled as a result of remaining evil.

BTW, finished this, any suggestions or approvals?

  • Opposes: Magneto, Set and Marcus, Big Mom.
  • Foil: Ellie (see here for why)
  • Kipo was a young human girl who was born in a burrow known as The Clover in a post-apocalyptic Earth, living alongside her father, Lio Oak, and many other humans. One day their burrow was attacked by a Mega-Mute (a giant mutant animal) Monkey, forcing Kipo to flee after her father got her to safety. Exposed to the surface, Kipo went on a quest to find her people again, meeting many friends along the way, after finding her father she soon found out that there were bigger forces at play in the world that she had no idea of, and was eventually caught up in the midst of a conflict between mutated humans and the remaining humans, which she eventually managed to end when she became a peacemaker between both mutekind and mankind eventually helping mutes and humans get along in the future as an adult.
  • Kipo ascended after the defeat of Dr. Emilia, her nemesis and the true villain of her story, who was responsible for all the conflict of modern day between humans and mutes directly and indirectly. Her temple was not too different from her burrow home, with some of her favorite music put on special devices for her to listen to.
  • As a mutant who fought for peace between humanity and the mutes of her world, she appreciates those who seek to make peace between humans and other species; for this reason she made allies with the X-Men, mutants who have fought and still fight to this day in their world to try and make the world a better place for mutants while making sure humans didn't see them as a threat to their existence. This alliance also led to her opposing the Brotherhood of Mutants, who fully embrace being seen as a threat to humanity and want to subjugate them through force to pave the way for a mutant supremacy; on the flip-side of this conflict there's William Stryker and the Sentinels, who both oppose mutants either for the superiority of humanity or for their own, respectively; as such Kipo has little goodwill about them, viewing them as no better than the worst mutes of her world or Dr. Emilia.
  • Another deity who made an effort for peace that became an ally was Caesar, an evolved enhanced chimpanzee who after becoming the king of apes tried his best to ensure mankind and apekind would not have conflict and even went as far as helping pockets of human civilization left after the Simian Flu devastated society to recover and be safe from the wrath of Koba, an enhanced bonobo that once acted as his trusted lieutenant and brother in arms but went off the deep end due to resentment against humans and tried to kill all who he could see, breaking laws that Caesar and himself made to ensure apes never fell victim to in-fighting. For this reason, the psychotic bonobo became another of Kipo's enemies, as he was even worse than one of her former enemies, Scarlemagne, who also is her older adopted brother and in spite of his initial enmity against humans learnt to let it go and become good. Other 2 deities that earned Kipo's scorn were Colonel McCullough and Dr. Zaius, the former for having anti-non-humans views and seeking to put humanity at the top through violence and the latter for having a prejudiced disdain and hatred of humans that drives him to make efforts to treat them inhumanely.
  • She found herself having an odd relation with Ellie, who she found to have a lot of similarities with: as both are mutates with special genes that set them apart from other people in their world, both play the guitar, grew up desiring to see by themselves a world that was long gone and had dreams of being an astronaut since childhood along with an initial optimistic view of the world in spite of the situation of their worlds... But the differences end there, as Ellie fell victim to shedding her own optimism and niceness in favor of dehumanizing other people that weren't her friends or family and was consumed by the desire of vengeance against those who wronged her without considering that they're people like her; while Kipo retained her optimism and even kept holding on to it when more enemies appeared and the situations kept increasing in danger. While Ellie ended up miserable and alone after her actions drove off her loved ones and destroyed families, Kipo was able to rise above her pain and was able to get her happy ending of mutes and humans co-existing, even if she lost her older brother in the process, both girls have an uneasy relationship due to their differing views on the world, with Kipo keeping herself at arm's length due to Ellie's many atrocities done during her Roaring Rampage of Revenge.
    • Joel himself has thought of taking more after Kipo himself especially as he can attest to that his actions having consequences is what ultimately led to his death, as well as allowing his cynicism to not view other humans as the people they were which led to many sociopathic acts that affected him and his loved ones in the long run. With his fatherly relationship with Ellie, he found himself talking to Kipo in order to better understand her optimism, and while he's still having issues reconciling his past sins and actions, he's nonetheless felt that talking things out with the young mute girl could eventually lead to him finally moving on from his past and improving his life and happiness. He was also curious to hear that Kipo nearly fell victim to a desire for revenge which she was able to overcome thanks to her friends, sparing her from ending like Ellie, which made him feel even worse about how his actions made Ellie's life hell, which he wanted to avoid doing.
  • As Star Butterfly also worked hard to improve relationships between two different races in her world, she earned a place among Kipo's allies. Kipo herself admired that Star in spite of meeting genuinely evil monsters never fell victim to the same prejudices and Fantastic Racism that a lot of other Mewmans fell victim to, and that to booth she succeeded in her goals at the end of the day, even if it took destroying all magic to do so, Star herself also congratulated Kipo on not only achieving peace between. On the flip-side of this alliance is an enmity with both Toffee of Septarsis and Mina Loveberry, who are both bigoted against humans/mewmans and monsters respectively, both of them tried to hinder Star's and her ancestor's efforts to make peace and were perfectly willing to tear up families and kill innocents for the sake of supremacy of their respective races as well as out of an egotistical feeling of superiority.
  • Gorilla Grodd is an evil gorilla who plots to enslave humanity for his own selfish purposes of conquest, his brutality and penchant for massive hipocrisy with his callous disregard of the lives of other apes only makes this hatred further increase, with the evil gorilla's self-interest into raising himself to power. Another ape who similarly ended up as her enemy was Mojo Jojo, who was enhanced through Chemical X and chose to go down a path of evil and conquer humanity and despite his initial goal being to bring World Peace he forgoed it in favor of cotinuing to be evil once he tired of world peace and got back to his evil ways, the fact that he's a complete opposite of Hugo/Scarlemagne in regards to motivations doesn't help.
  • The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are mutated turtles who grew into superheroes for both humans and benevolent mutants in all versions. The ones in the Pantheon took a liking to Kipo due to her mutant status and powers, as well as having established peace between mutant creatures and humans in her world which the turtles sort of seek as they wish to be accepted into human society for the most part, which they eventually succeeded at in most worlds. Another ally she made was Baron Draxum, as the yokai former warlord once hated humans before his time with the turtles changed his viewpoints and helped him become a better person overall and even helping to save humanity from the Shredder.
  • While Big Mom desires to make a world where humans and hybrids can co-exist, her way of doing so by kidnapping people is not at all something Kipo approves of; even more when Kipo herself was ordered kidnapped by her goons which nearly happened when they caught her off-guard and tried dragging her to Big Mom's temple, only for her to use her mute powers to break out and send her goons packing. While she's not outright enemies with the pirate woman, she nonetheless keeps her distance from her, and silently opposes her methods while trying to teach her a better and more civil way to reach their common goal of unity.
  • Set and Marcus are a pair of mutants with prejudice against humans but differing views on it, neither of them is high on Kipo's list due to their particular uninterest in actually improving human/mutant relationships. That Set's violently against humans with Marcus not doing much to change it only makes this half-enmity worse, with Kipo preferring to not associate with them despite both at some point growing interested in meeting the half-human/half-mute girl.
    • Similarly Eren Yeager who once had an idealist dream of saving humanity from the Titans ended up becoming an enemy despite their initial similarities, as he had eventually devolved into a genocidal maniac willing to kill most of humanity with the Rumbling of several titans at once to let the people of Paradis rule over the remains after years of opression; while Kipo understands and agrees that the Paradisians have been mistreated, she does not approve of Eren's extremism and has pretty much made it clear that she will not ally with him ever.
  • Due to her role as an ambassador between humans and non-humans who brought peace to a warring age, she earned the favor of the Undertale Deities who lived in a world that was divided once between humans and monsters due to several conflicts that got the monsters sealed underground before Frisk's actions allowed the monsters to be free and eventually make peace with mankind leading to an age of prosperity for both species; they were happy to know that Kipo stayed true to her idealism in spite of the many problems that arose and at the end of the day achieved peace. For this reason Steven Universe and the other deities of his world became allies with Kipo, too, viewing her achievements as admirable especially in regards to standing her ground against an ever-challenging world and even helping redeem many villains from her world by reaching out to them and appealing to their inner goodness. Ultraman Cosmos and Musashi were other pacifist deities who enjoyed hearing about her work, with Kipo also growing interested in the Planet Juran that both had helped make as a sanctum for Kaiju and humans to live in harmony and without conflict after helping create bridges between both groups.
  • Unusual allies came in the form of Godzilla and King Kong, the "Kings" of the Kaiju, who once challenged her Mega-Mute form to a battle to test her strength; though Kipo was outmatched in the end, she nonetheless earned their respect and even was offered to be trained by them into becoming even stronger and more skilled in her mute abilities. A mutual respect was also held when she heard that both Kong and Godzilla have recently turned to peace-keeping between humanity and Kaiju in their own ways, keeping unruly and evil Kaiju in check and motivating benevolent ones to assist the world's environments without harming humans.
  • Finn is another fellow post-apocalyptic child who grew up in an unfamiliar world and has a rather tragic past from being separated from his birth family like Kipo was, though at a much younger age. Kipo was curious to see that Finn in spite of starting out as a Blood Knight with massive recklessness grew into a wise, kind-hearted hero who rarely resorted to violence unless there was no choice and even started becoming a voice of reason to his friends in dire times. Finn himself admired that Kipo managed to also grow as a person without losing her optimistic view of the world and was able to reunite with her family in many ways, as while he did "reunite" with both of his parents, neither encounter was particularly happy as circumstances beyond their control tore apart their lives and thus neither had a positive send-off with Finn until much later.

@ Vengeful: While him still harboring some feelings for the Master's cause is concerning, if somewhat of a stretch to call Marcus prejudiced.

  • He befriended a Brotherhood of Steel Paladin despite having a days long shootout with him and frequently disagreeing on a lot of things.
  • Helped found a mining town called Broken Hills consisting of humans, ghouls, and mutants.
  • Accompanied a human tribesman and his gang to get back their family (and help take out the Enclave in the process).
  • Found a different town called Jacobstown (named after the BOS paladin) for mutants and humans with the end-goal of becoming a valued trading partner to the other communities. In pushing for a project to help cure the Nightkin super mutants of their schizophrenia, he worked alongside a human scientist.

Arguing he could do more is iffy considering not a lot of humans would of forgotten The Master, the remnants of his army in the 1st gens, or the more simpleminded 2nd gens running around thanks to the Enclave digging up what remained of FEV. With Broken Hills there was a conspiracy to wipe out the mutants there and in Jacobstown they were scapegoated by the New California Republic for supposed attacks on their cattle. It's an uphill battle for him, all in all.

Other than that it looks good. [tup]

@Crownless Mimic: There's The Knight who's fought experienced mantes at combat. The VUX and Queen Sectonia would be rivals, the former for humanity-opposing aliens that would find the aliens ugly and inferior, and Sectonia would want to rule over The Mantis.

@Sailor Venus: Waluigi and maybe Eario would know Adeleine from the Brawl in the Family webcomic. Also, in said webcomic, it was stated by Word of God that she had a Precocious Crush on Meta Knight, with instances of Ship Tease here and there in the comic. Fancy Pants Man is another guy who uses pens/pencils as a weapon.

Terry Crews in his regular mortal form; an image of him advertising Old Spice is omitted for your safety.

*familiar whistle jingle*

*Terry's fist punches through the profile*

ODOR BLOCKER BODY WASH IS TOO POWERFUL TO LET THIS PROFILE END!

  • Trying his best to be a caring parent to his own real-life family, this Family Man refuses to tolerate any of the Child Abuse Supporters, and should almost any of them exist within a certain distance of him, they automatically explode, so they all take caution to avoid him at any cost. For someone a despicable parent as Ragyo, however, that's a different story. The first time he heard of WHAT Ragyo did to her daughters, he went up to her temple, went to look the deity herself in the eye, and Ragyo exploded, turning her into The Negative Man for 24 hours, forcing her to sob and wallow in shame for the entire day. Needless to say, every good-willed parent holds him in high respect.
    • After learning about Michael Bluth's eventual developments into a rather questionable parent, he's begun to feel really terrible about what he's suffered through, but as a parent himself he can't stand to accept what Bluth's become, especially not his treatment of his son. On his off-time, he hopes that he can help Bluth be a better parent, at the very least.
  • In one of his attempts to bond with his son, he ended up becoming a gamer just like him, and he even got into Overwatch in the process, and for that, he gets along with many of the ascended heroes from Overwatch. He even tried to become a voice actor for a certain hero, although his requests were denied. In fact, that hero, Doomfist, may have been somewhat modeled after him. While Terry isn't fond of Doomfist's agenda, he still feels pretty bad about what Akande went through during his early career attempts, and does wish for him to have a Heel–Face Turn on his own. (He COULD just use his reality-warping powers to just make him Good but that's something he won't abuse his powers for.) While Doomfist doesn't plan to give up his agendas for him, he holds no ill will towards Terry and wouldn't even think about trying to attack him anyway, regardless of the risk of him being punched into the stratosphere.
  • Having a bad experience with a Loony Fan who rudely tried to push through his children in order to meet him face-to-face, he visited Annie Wilkes for having a reputation for being even worse than what he dealt with, warning her through his Scary Black Man persona to be a little more understanding of the feelings of the creators she supposedly respects. And of course to BE A DECENT PERSON, DAMN IT! *Annie explodes, to no one's shock*
  • Bobobo loved the Old Spice products he got from Terry Crews, and eventually asked Terry if he could star in a commercial for Old Spice with him. Terry agreed, and not an hour later, the entire House of Hair Styles exploded repeatedly until it looked like it was part of the House of War. It was also littered with nose hair tentacles attacking the janitors. Some believed that this was caused by some unholy Fusion Dance between the two deities, others believed that the screaming they did amplified each others' powers to an uncontrollable extent. Due to this occasion, the House of Time and Space sometimes has to create a dimensional space for Terry to host a commercial with other deities to avoid further destruction.
  • Alex Armstrong decided to get himself in a flexing contest with Terry Crews solely for fun. Terry immediately accepted the request, with it being a still-rational showcase of muscles, but not only did Terry Crews end up using his reality-bending powers to make his flexing go over the top, he gave Armstrong the same abilities for his own flexing, and from there it escalated to the point where all of the flexing created a ball of energy so manly that when it exploded, several Houses were left in need of heavy repair. Many of the workers and faculty groaned as they watched Alex and Terry shake hands and depart.
  • In an attempt to get more famous, Super Macho Man challenged Terry Crews to a Pec Flex contest, claiming that if Terry Crews could outlast him without any reality-warping involved, Super Macho Man would have to buy a month's worth of his products. If Terry lost, Super Macho Man would get to star in the next Old Spice commercial to promote himself as well. Disabling all of his powers for the time being, Terry accepted, and for over an hour they stared at each other as they continued to flex their pecs, with many men and women watching. Super Macho Man did last for a good while, which Terry had to admit, but Terry ended up winning through sheer endurance after almost two hours, and Super Macho Man began to faint. Before he passed out, he saw a large crate full of Old Spice products and a bill taped onto it, with his exact signature already on it.
Terry: IF HE HAD USED OLD SPICE PRODUCTS MORE OFTEN, HE MIGHT HAVE HAD ME BEAAATTTTTTT- Italicized instance of an explosion occurring, as a result of Terry's yelling being that powerful
  • Not very fond of the Kankers since he despises what their trope represents. He once saw them chasing the Eds down, and he decided to try and defuse the situation by TALKING ABOUT HOW GREAT OLD SPICE IS FOR YOUR HYGIENE but after seeing that the Kankers cared little for it, he decided to take it a step further and started to holler, causing the Kankers to explode into... themselves, but with their heads transformed into fish. Sending the Kankers running in horror of their new appearance, the Eds thanked him by taking some of his Old Spice products.
  • After giving some Old Spice to Saxton Hale, the two got into a screaming contest that was so loud that SLEEP ITSELF WAS CANCELLED FOR AN ENTIRE HOUR FROM THE SHEER POWEEERRRRRRR- *Yet even more explosions*
  • For the sake of having fun, he's starting to collaborate with the likes of Michael Bay and Mr. Torgue, both of whom look up to Terry for the explosions he creates by just existing, in order to make a commercial so powerful and explosive that it would blast Isaiah off his seat and possibly cause the whole Pantheon to explode from the utter power alone.
