Armand Gidnap, better known online as Pringus McDingus, is a Filipino YouTuber known for his animations, typically of video games such as Super Mario Bros. or Fire Emblem. His animation style typically consists of characters having no scleras and having mitt-like hands. He is friends with fellow YouTuber Lythero, having been commissioned to make animations for him and even appeared in a few of Lythero's videos.
Pringus initially grew to prominence thanks to his animation "Hi, I'm Daisy". Daisy has since become somewhat of a Breakout Character on his channel, with many animations featuring her in some capacity.
Not to be confused with another fellow youtuber Squimpus McGrimpus.
Do I look like I need your power? I only need... tropes.
- Casting Gag: In "Community, but Sonic", Sonic and Eggman play the roles of Troy and Pierce respectively, whose actors, Donald Glover and Chevy Chase, were infamous for having Hostility on the Set.
- Cloudcuckoolander: Daisy is this, without question. She yells out map directions, is prone to brain freeze, gleefully almost runs over Luigi with her kart, and aggressively sings the Reese's Puffs rap.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Half of "Reina's Rampage" is literally just Reina beating the crap out of several other fighters who are all trying to come at her at once. And then Kuma shows up... and proceeds to surprise her by Korean Wavedashing right over to her and juggling her into submission.
- Damsel Scrappy: In-Universe with Ashley in "Resident Evil 4... I Think." After getting saved by Leon, he snaps at her, asking why she didn't stay hidden in the dumpster. Ashley's response is that she saw a butterfly, to which Leon has no response. After pulling up his inventory, Ashley gets captured again behind the menu, much to Leon's frustration.
- Deadpan Snarker: In "You'll never catch me, Robotnik - Lythero", Eggman sarcastically rags on Shadow about how hard it'll be to catch him after the latter thinks he's safe, only to fall into a pit.
- Early-Installment Weirdness: In "You what?", which uses dialogue from Community, Amy and Vanilla use dialogue from Britta and Shirley respectively. "Community, but Sonic", a later video, while remaining consistent with Vanilla having Shirley's lines, gives Amy Annie's dialogue instead, with Britta's being given to Blaze.
- The Gadfly: In "Frye's Special Problem", Shiver humiliates Frye in front of all of Splatsville by taking off her Brown Bag Mask, revealing her enormous Forehead of Doom.
- Go Mad from the Revelation: In "sam", after a Samsung employee tells Sam that there's lots of porn of her on the internet, she gains Wide Eyes and Shrunken Irises and lets out a disturbed, "...Oh my god."
- Horrifying the Horror: Cream manages to scare the living daylights out of Death Adder in "I'm not afraid of you." just by staring at him.
- Kill It with Fire: In "wonder", Daisy attempts to stop Peach from becoming DeviantArt fuel by scorching the Elephant Berry with a flamethrower.
- Medium Blending: In "Resident Evil 4... I Think.", whenever Leon slaps Ashley, she turns into a Garry's Mod ragdoll and hits the wall. The same gag is used on Krauser in "Resident Evil 4 Remake but with mods".
- Misplaced Retribution: In "A Mushroom Kingdom Christmas 🎄", when Daisy flicks a peanut at Mario's nose, he responds by flicking it at Luigi instead of her.
- Noodle Incident: In "I have something to ask of you", the Monastery Gatekeeper gives Byleth a letter from Seteth, asking her to get him and Flayn out of the McDonald's PlayPlace. How Flayn got the two of them trapped in there is anyone's guess.
- Sassy Black Woman: "You what?" and "Community, but Sonic" characterizes Vanilla as one by virtue of her having Shirley's voice, despite Shirley normally being a subversion.
- Shout-Out: "Resident Evil 4 Remake but with mods" is a recreation of the "you could grind meat on those abs" scene from Episode 30 of Dragon Ball Z Abridged.
- Stupid Sexy Flanders: In "Calamity", Zelda does her hardest to resist how sexy Ganondorf is, but unfortunately for her, Link gives in and gets stomped on.
- The Virus: The chibi art style of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is interpreted as a virus in "babey", as Cynthia is transformed into a chibi by standing in Dawn's presence for too long.
- Wrong Assumption: In "PEANUTS", Yor gets the wrong idea about Anya loving peanuts, and brings her the corpses of Charlie Brown and Snoopy.
