Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

[tup] for Green Day.

First draft for the Tiger I tank from Fury (2014).

Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf. E Tiger I (Sd.Kfz.181, A F***ing Beast, Goddamn Tiger)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/800px_tiger_131_1.jpg
  • Theme: Tiger Battle
  • Appearance: An early-production Tiger I Ausf. E painted in dark yellow, with leaves and small camouflage nets placed over its hull, turret, and main gun
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: The Dreaded, Having camouflage placed over its turret, main gun, and hull, Walking Spoiler, Having almost impenetrable front armor and a powerful main gun, Small Role, Big Impact, Rare Vehicles, Tank Goodness
  • Domain: Combat, Tanks, War
  • The Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. E, better known as the Tiger I, was a heavy tank used by Nazi Germany during World War II. Produced from 1942 to August 1944, the tank was used mainly by Heavy Panzer Battalions of the Heer and Waffen-SS. Eventually, it was supplanted in production by the even heavier Tiger II tank, which was armed with an even bigger main gun and thicker armor.
  • This particular example was encountered by the crew of the M4A3E8 "Fury" during a brief, but memorable, battle during the Allied advance into Germany in April 1945. Knocking out three of the Sherman tanks accompanying "Fury", it was ultimately destroyed when the latter's crew fired two 76mm armor-piercing shells into its rear, where the tank's armor was thinnest.

[up] I'd be surprised if there's a fictional character who embodies and represents Punk Rock to good effect. If I had no other choice but to represent an actual band, it'd recommend a Trope Codifier like The Ramones, Dead Kennedys or The Misfits

(Not putting these up for nominations BTW)

Yuuta Kimura and Yui Ootsuka, Divine Duo of Gender Bender Angst (Yuuta: "Yui" || Yui: "Yuuta")
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/c1ecd8afc339f6468fb6a1a3b25d9055.jpg
  • [tup]s: 3 (GeneralGigan817, Rmpdc, ExcessiveMenace)
  • Potential House: Non Binary Genders
  • Quasideities
  • Symbol: The tree that Yuuta fell from, or Yui's hat
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good for Yuuta, Lawful Neutral with leanings towards Good for Yui
  • Portfolio: "Freaky Friday" Flip, Gender Bender Angst, Different endings in both the original webcomic and the manga, Transgender; Character Development, Relationship Upgrade, Becoming the Mask, Babies Ever After, Opposites Attract (Manga only)
  • Domains: Body Swap, Angst, Gender, Identity
  • Herald: Their children
  • High Priest: Ash Upton
  • Allies: Anna and Tess Coleman, Natsuru Senou, Poison, and Mizuki Suzushiro
  • Enemies: Junko Enoshima, Needles Kane, Calypso, Killer BOB, The Grineer Queens, Zamasu, Orochimaru, Dante, Master Xehanort
  • Yuuta and Yui were two children that initially didn't get along and were polar opposites. Yuuta was a thrill-seeking boy while Yui was a lone, "goody-two shoes" girl. One day, Yuuta fell from a tree right onto her and swapped bodies with her. Both of them were terrified of their circumstances, but they are unable to switch back, forcing them to live out the other's life, with Yuuta's best friend Kazuma Takaoka being the only one who knows their secret. Years passed as the two grew into adolescence, with everyone knowing them for their current personalities and the two desperately wishing to return to their original bodies. Yuuta and Yui still manage to make some friends though, while confiding in each other their struggles. They also tend to into arguments when one of them is being insensitive towards the other. Even though they have found someone who fell in love with them (Hayato Tachibana for Yuuta and Kazuma for Yui), the two eventually realize how much they mean to each other, especially when Yuuta's body gets hit by a truck, causing them to switch back after 8 years. With Yuuta in critical condition, Yui finally realizes how much she loves Yuuta and prays for them to switch bodies again if it means saving him. The prayer is answered, and while Yui is recovering in Yuuta's body, both of them officially become a couple and fully accept their circumstances, now calling themselves by the other's name. They would eventually get married and have a son and daughter.
    • One day in the Pantheon, the Court of the Gods reviewed their case and send a messenger with an invitation to the Pantheon, having shown an interest in their story and emotional journey. The two accepted and became representatives of Gender Bender Angst. They shortly after learned that in an alternate timeline, Yuuta fell for Tachibana and failed to notice Yui's deteriorating mental state, which apparently caused her death, leaving Yuuta to lament his failure to understand her as he spends the rest of his life in her body. The two could only look on in horror about this, with Yui even admitting she would have ended up like that if neither of them had taken the time to understand the other's pain and apologize. Yuuta notes he was only a few steps away from making such a mistake.
    • The gods have offered to help switch Yuuta and Yui back to their original bodies if they so desire, no strings attached. But the two turn down the offer, stating they have already grown used to being the other's body and even admit if it weren't for that, they never would have gotten together. They do, however, no longer have to pretend to be the other, acting fully as themselves and being able to share their history with other people in the pantheon, though they still seem to call each other by their spouse's name out of habit.
  • The two soon crossed paths with Anna and Tess Coleman, who had also gone through a body swap scenario that forced them to learn about the other's pain, albeit through different means. And unlike them, they were able to switch back after both learned their lesson. Anna and Tess can only give Yuuta and Yui their condolences about the struggles they had to go through growing up.
  • Deities in the House of Non Binary Genders, particularly Poison, Natsuro, Ramna, and Mizuki, show pity for Yuuta and Yui for having to live for years as the unwanted gender, with nobody but your closest confidants knowing the truth. It's even worse in their situation since nobody else would likely believe them, and everybody only knows them for their current personalities. Yuuta and Yui admit it was painful, but they eventually learned to accept it because being together makes it worthwhile.
    • Natsuro knows what it's like to only be acknowledged as the opposite gender, since his Kämpfer form became popular with both males and females. The girl he was interested in, Kaede Sakura, was only interested in his female form and showed nothing but disgust for his true self.
    • Mizuki understands Yuuta and Yui's feelings all too well, having gone through a similar experience. But whereas she had a subconscious desire to be feminine, Yuuta and Yui weren't happy at all with the change at all, and it took years for the two to accept their circumstances. Mizuki promises to be there for them when they need, something they appreciate greatly.
    • Ramna actually avoids the two since, even though they initially disliked their circumstances, eventually grew to accept them. Ramna has been trying to lift his curse of transforming into a girl and doesn't even want to entertain the notion of it being permanent.
  • Yuuta, in the mortal world, never truly got to carry out his dream of being soccer player because of the body swap. But in the Pantheon, the Gods have told Yuuta that he is free to carry out his dream if he still wants it, so he goes to the House of Sports to try out for soccer. He has spent his days training, hoping to carry out his childhood dream, while receiving support in the Pantheon. When he's not training, Yuuta also tends to go to the House of Technology due to also becoming a web designer for his career choice, having gotten used to working on this field of choice. He admits to Yui in the Pantheon about how he lied about his dream, having given up his childhood dream because of the body swap. Yui assures him that she's not mad and encourages him to follow his dream, having long since learned to be honest and considerate.
  • Yui is also good with children, having grown up with Yuuta's brother Haruki, so she decided to be a nursery school teacher for her career choice. A lot of children get along with Yui, and Yui goes to the House of School to help teach child deities that go there for education.
  • The two are wary of body snatchers in general, since unlike their body swap (which was entirely unintentional and they tried their best not to ruin the other's reputation), they tend to take people's bodies deliberately and ruin their lives. Some of the most notable examples include Zamasu (who swapped bodies with Goku before killing him in front of his family and killing them too), Needles Kane (Granted, Calypso was far from a good person, but what Needles Kane did still reminds them of the alternate timeline), and Dante (Who kills anyone she swaps bodies with, not to mention what she intended to do when she stole Rose's body).
  • Junko Enoshima was really enticed by their trauma, but was disappointed that their relationship didn't end in tragedy like in the alternate timeline, so she wants to make it the same events come to pass. The two in turn outright loathe her for enjoying people's misery, and are disgusted by her desire for despair. They're also downright horrified when they discovered how Junko blackmailed Juzo Sakakura, with the former even admitting she would have gladly used their secret against them if it pushed past the Despair Event Horizon.

Renton Thurston and Eureka, Divine Couple of Free-Fall Romance

  • Enemies: The Anti-Spiral, Zamasu, Embyro, Nobuyuki Sugou, Death Gun, Quinella
  • Renton Thurston, the fourteen-year-old son of deceased military researcher, Adrock Thurston, once live in what he considered a boring life with his grandfather in a boring town. He enjoys lifting, a sport where one surfs on trapar, a substance abundant throughout the air. He dreamed of joining the renegade group Gekkostate, led by the legendeary lifter, Holland Novak, with the opportunity to do so literally falling into his lap when Gekkostate member Eureka and her mecha the Nirvash type ZERO crash into his room. Renton's grandfather orders him to deliver a special part to the Nirvash called the "Amita Drive", which releases the immense power dormant within the type ZERO called the "Seven Swell Phenomenon". Afterwards, Renton is recruited into the Gekkostate, but quickly finds out the group wasn't what he's expecting, especially Holland, when they start taking advantage of him. Eureka becomes the only reason he stays with the Gekkostate, and while he does leave for a brief period of time, eventually returns due to his love for her. Throughout their adventures, the duo are able to change for the better through their experiences and growing love for each other, Renton becoming more confident and brave, Eureka becoming social and human. Even the revelation that Eureka is a Coralian in human form doesn't change their relationship in the slightest, and their love for is what allows them to fight effectively in the Nirvash and save the world.
    • The Court of the Gods reviewed their case, showing interest in their love story, especially all of their romantic moments while falling through the air. They invited Renton and Eureka into the Pantheon to represent Free-Fall Romance and they accepted.
  • The pair quickly got along with Simon and Nia, who also piloted a mecha and fell in love with each other on their journey. Renton and Eureka both felt sorry for the pair, since unlike them who got to live at the end of their journey and be together, Nia passes away after being saved from the Anit-Spiral by Simon, though she still lives long enough to wedded to her husband. Simon and Nia assure them they still were able to make their time together the happiest in their life, but admit they are happy for the two of them being able to be together.
    • Kamina and Yoko are also quite friendly with Renton and Eureka as well, both for their friendship with Simon and Nia, but also for Renton's determination and how his love for Eureka allowed him to save her. While the pair do sympathize with Kamina and Yoko when they heard the former perished, leaving his brother and the woman who love behind, Kamina tells him he still had a good life, and that he's proud of the people he cares growing stronger and capable without him.
    • The Anti-Spiral, however, gives Eureka bad vibes, considering how his genocidal actions parallel Dewy's attempts to destroy the Scub Coral. The Anti-Spiral in turn sees Renton and Eureka's love and hope as a threat, vowing to destroy along with his other enemies.
  • Renton and Eureka also met and befriended Kaito and Ichika, another Human-Alien romantic pairing just like them. Both pairings tend to go out on double dates together, sharing stories of their time together. Of course, Eureka is confused by just how similar Ichika is to a human being, considering how she had to learn to be human. Kaito and Ichika meanwhile are surprised by how Renton and Eureka became adopted parents at such a young age, and are also saddened they had to go through harsh times in a war.
  • The two quickly befriended Kirito and Asuna, who like them, also became adopted parents during their adolescence. Granted, Renton's relationship with Eureka's children was very rocky at first, not to mention that Eureka orphaned them in the first place and took them in to atone for it, but they still persevered and prove themselves to be wonderful parental figures. Kirito and Asuna tend to give advice to the two every now and then about raising children, while Yui likes to hang out and talk with Renton and Eureka to learn about their adventures.
    • By befriending Kirito and Asuna however, the duo crossed paths and made enemies with Nobuyuki Sugou, Death Gun, and Quinella. Sugou for using people's minds as test subjects for unethical experiments as well as molesting Asuna, Death Gun for being Serial Killers who take pleasure in killing, and Quinella for her unethical experiments and her desire to control people. Renton makes it very clear that if anyone had tried to molest Eureka, he would show no mercy at all. The two also disliked killing due to the trauma they suffered from killing in war, so they absolutely can't stand Death Gun for enjoying killing at all. They're also uncomfortable with the subject of mind control, considering how Dewy controlled Anemone through the use of sedatives. Even Kyouji, who is receiving some rehabilitation, is met with unease due to his actions.
  • Crossed paths with Hikaru and Lala, who like them are a human and alien duo who have a close relationship (albeit platonic). Hikaru gushes over Eureka, calling her winged appearance beautiful, which makes Eureka blush. The two, along with their fellow Pretty Cure, also support Renton and Eureka's relationship, and are quite excited that they were able to become a couple after so many struggles.
  • Superman and Lois Lane, just like with Kaito and Ichika, had a lot of advice for the young couple before. But seeing how they matured during their adventure also allowed them to improve their relationship, the two were actually happy for them.
  • Due to Renton and Eureka's skills Lifting, tons of deities with Hover Boards or those capable of Sky Surfing have challenged them to some friendly competition of racing across the skies of the Pantheon, with Renton eagerly accepting the challenges. These deities include Virgil Hawkins on his disc, Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter on their hover boards, and Ben Tennyson on the hover board he received from Tetrax Shard.
  • The pair quickly met other deities involved in romance and mechas, though in their case, the males ended up attracting a lot of girls rather than just a single one. Lelouch, Ichika Orimura, and Lux all quickly got along with Renton (although Renton did take some time to form a bond with Lelouch after hearing of his actions in his mortal life, especially when he became a dictator setting himself up to die), and while don't have a single official girlfriend as far as the Pantheon knows (not counting Lelouch's Relationship Upgrade with C.C. in another time), they did congratulate Renton on finding the girl of his dreams and help set them up on dates every now and then. The girls close to those three also approve of Eureka's relationship with Renton, giving her sincere advice with setting up dates with him and tend to watch those dates.
  • Renton and Eureka are downright horrified when they heard of what happened in an alternate timeline, namely how their first-born daughter died due to her human-coralian heritage causing her to turn to stone when exposed to high trapar, causing the two to go back on their word to protect the Scub Coral and leave their son in another world to protect them. This causes the two to think about how everything they did in that timeline ended up rendering their journey moot and only ended up proving Dewey Holland right. However, since this occurred in an alternate timeline, the couple can hope at least they can change their future to prevent this tragedy from ever occurring to their family, and perhaps raise a happy family when the day comes when they conceive Amber and Ao.
  • Tidus and Yuna had gone through a similar experience, when Yuna went on a longer journey to reunite with Tidus. Because of this, the two got along with Renton and Eureka, and even show their admiration with Renton's determination to save Eureka, when it looked she was about to disappear.
  • Ico and Yorda tend to meet with Renton and Eureka, seeing the similarities between their relationships. The latter pair sympathize greaty with the former after hearing their circumstances (Ico being sacrificed due to his horns, Yorda due to being abused by her mother and kept around just to be a vessel). The two hope to help Ico and Yorda feel much more comfortable around the Pantheon.
  • Ange and Tusk's relationship started... rather awkwardly to say the least. Yet despite that, the two pairs couldn't help but show pride in how Renton and Eureka were able advance in their relationship, with the latter two actually admiring their skill in combat together and hoping to learn from the best.
    • Embyro earned the duo's disgust when they heard of his genocide towards the Ancient People (reminding them of Dewey's to destroy the Scub Coral), as well as his behavior towards women in general. Their prepared to work alongside Ange and Tusk to stop Embyro if he ever dares to try another scheme to reset the world.
  • The two cannot stand Zamasu at all (which is unsurprising), seeing his genocidal desire to eliminate to be even worse than Dewy's plan. Zamasu, as usual doesn't care, and instead sees the two as more sinners for him to destroy, claiming their just like every other mortal who fight and kill each other, and their attempts to make things better don't change that.

  • Rivals: Amatsu-Mikaboshi

  • Opposed by: Eliphas (Yu-Gi-Oh), those overly dedicated to order like Galeem, Ashera, the Auditors of Reality
  • Concerns: The Author
  • Confuses: Nekron
  • Disrespects: Dis, Lucifer (Supernatural)
  • Wild Magic. A primal, chaotic form of magic with a mind of it's own. In the Slayers reality there is rule magic and theurgic magic. But chaos magic? Something utilized by Lina Inverse, it taps into the power of the primordial creator, the Lord of Nightmares. And her mind is present and follower her magic, making it unpredictable and dependent on her mood. And the Primordial Chaos is a very fickle mistress, so use at your own power.
  • Was present around the start of the pantheon, in its anarchic state. However she fell out relevance. Then the Great Upheaval happened and Order Versus Chaos was becoming more relevant. Then other factions grew in strength and changed things. And suddenly the pantheon got a lot more of her attention, with Lina's return solidifying her interest. Still, she is rarely sought out and isn't that talkative. She acts on her whims.
  • The Lord of Nightmares is the 'Deus' in 'Deus ex machina'. Whenever contrived coincidences and powerful forces outside the central characters' control resolve the situation, she is behind it. In other words, she's the wizard who did it. As the Sea of Chaos, she is the foundation of all existence, and what any world reverts to upon being destroyed.
    • Of course, the "Sea of Chaos" is not to be confused with the Warp, as that is not a sea or any body of water (unless you count clouds, which the Warp is more similar to, as bodies of water).
  • Her true name is Lucifer, yet ironically is The Maker of the Slayers' verse. Some people have mistook the Lucifer in charge of the Grand United Alliance of Chaos for her, before he admitted he was kind of boasting about it in his profile picture. The fact the too seem to get along despite her fickle nature, being respective spirits of chaos, helped with that confusion and boast. However she is still too fickle to ally with the GUAC.
  • Lacks respect for the Emperor of the Kingdom Dolorous and the Devil that is the son of Chuck. The former is an unremittingly depraved entity who devolved into chaos and nothingness to divorce himself from his maker. And the latter is a brat throwing a tantrum. She seems to get along with Amara, though, recognizing her primal nature as alike herself.
  • Her thoughts on fellow Gods and Makers? In general she doesn't have a serious relationship, however tends to be on speaking terms with those not as obsessed with order. The Love That Moves The Stars exists on as much, if not more of a transcendent level as she does. Though He is clearly benevolent and not aloof, the Love otherwise is fine with her doing her own thing. Both Gan and the Truth recognize her existence as a necessary and overrarching one, with Truth being a bit fond of her own divine retribution. But L-sama is too chaotic and irreverent to be their ally.
  • The creator and essence of the four worlds, among creators she seems to be fond of Azathoth the most. Well, as much as anyone can be so with an Almighty Idiot. This is down to the Lord of Nightmares unconsciously creating reality, not without her consent. It is said that she isn't happy and wants to reclaim them to solve her own loneliness, but this is likely facetiousness. Perhaps this is where she shares an understanding with Amatsu-Mikaboshi, as the Chaos King is offended that existence is present instead of his peaceful isolation. However they disagree heavily on the methods and he regards her as an aloof and apathetic rival. She isn't too concerned with him as is, but Oblivion has such power it might challenge even her.
  • There are two supreme beings who take offense to her existence. And unlike just about all who detest her, they have the power to back up their rage.
    • YHVH, the Mad God of Law, loathes the fact that a being of chaos known as Lucifer being such a mighty creator and entity. He wishes to enforce absolute order and proves ignorant on the subtlties of her primal chaos and importance, due to His Control Freak nature. Worryingly, both entities are comparable in strength.
    • Hajun seeks absolute isolation. It goes beyond a mere dislike that L-sama may or may not have in how she feels about the existence she unconsciously created. Oh no; the deranged Hadou God wishes to destroy her and end all that is, ever shall be and ever was that is not him. Horrifyingly, at least when it comes to the Tumor, he might be stronger. Of course he does suffer a crippling Achilles' Heel in his self-ignorant egotism.
  • Many StrawNihilists may be tempted to call on her infinitely destructive power. Many of those StrawNihilists may find themselves destroyed spectacularly. With anyone they were trying to kill miraculously restored to full health, just to spite them. Apophis has chosen to ignore this as he believes being a God of Chaos, he would benefit from the Lord of Nightmares. His arrogance will be his undoing.
  • Among those seeking her out for their own devices is Melkor. An early warning sign of his fall was an interested in the Void, seeking out the Flame Imperishable. Hearing the Lord of Nightmares is the Sea of Chaos and a primal creator, he seeks out that within her domain. Barbatos seeks to pervert that power for his own purposes, and the Father of the Homunculi desires apotheosis by gaining her power. All can expect a terrible fate for doing so.
  • Lord Tirek seeks to take her magic, however she just doesn't work that way and he will die horribly if he so much as tries. But his greed may overwhelm his sense of reasoning. Irritating him further was the fact that Discord is in good graces with her because of his nature as a spirit of discord. Damien Thorn sought her out to find the truth behind his father, suspecting that she was the true form of Lucifer and all others were derived from her. So far he hasn't gotten a single answer, and is lucky not to deal with her wrath.
  • The Lich has warned the Grand United Alliance of Destruction to leave her alone, which is rather telling. Of course he might just have some sort of respect for her as the source of primal chaos. After all, he's come to believe that GOLB is some sort of contemporary of hers, given they share certain natures. Nekron, as head of the group, is trying to come to terms with L-sama. Yes, he believes she may as well be an incarnations of the original darkness he is the champion and guardian of. And yet she seems too chaotic, a force of creation and destruction at the same time. Perhaps she is something else, and he wants to know what exactly that is.
  • Is the Primordial Chaos, the Sea of Chaos and true mother of demons...in case you haven't gotten it by now. So those obsessed with order dislike her. Of course besides YHVH, none call really do anything about it. Especially not the Auditors of Reality, who find such disorganization hair-tearingly outrageous. However she also functions as the Guardian of the Multiverse, so she is working with the Living Tribunal. Very tenuously, given her frivolous nature and the Tribunal's focus on order.
  • She shows up as the official spokeswoman for the author, much to his annoyance. A fact she deflects with her shovel. The Author would rather avoid her given her potential for retribution.

The Unconquered Sun, Godly Embodiment of Virtue (Ignis Divine, Sol Invictus, the Lord of Excellence)

  • The gods of Exalted were once slaves of the primordials until they rose up and, well, excelled at certain things. The Ebon Dragon, effectively the Anti-Exalted, needed a true force of virtue to oppose. And so the Unconquered Sun came to be. Representing Virtue, he lives to fulfill that role and be the best, most noble at...well, everything really. However this comes at the cost of him being burned out, often busy in the Game of Divinity and living up to his own standards. Still, while kind of arrogant he remains the Embodiment of Virtue and tries to live up to Compassion, Conviction, Temperance and Valor.
  • Long ago when the pantheon was young, he and the Ebon Dragon existed among other beings from their world. He represented the Holy Hand Grenade. But his profile was lacking and he left to pursue other matters. Before gaining the title of Embodiment of Virtue, it used to be held by Morgana however the Phantom Thieves chose to have a shared profile. Being what he is, the Unconquered Sun is fond of the cat. His ascension, like his creation, was part of the Ebon Dragon's designs to be able to be more proactive.
  • At home, he is the de-facto head of the Celestial Bureaucracy though he is often busy. This high-ranking position has him often conversing with Gods with a capital G, to varied effect
    • Given what YHVH is like, one may think He would be a quick enemy of the Unconquered Sun and vice versa. And yet while they fundamentally disagree on issues, enough to go to blows, they actually are fond of each other. Mainly because they both share an obsession with fulfilling certain virtues. YHVH's madness in obsessing over law is similar to the Unconquered Sun's obsession with fulfilling the four virtues. The GUAG is continuing to analyze their newfound relationship.
    • The Love That Moves The Stars is naturally very fond of the Unconquered Sun. However there is a fair bit of sympathy towards his need to fulfill virtue and the stress of it, comforting him by saying "it is hard, but ultimately pays off in the end". The Alpha and Omega can relate to the stress of being God that the Unconquered Sun must feel.
    • Considerably quirkier was the Flying Spaghetti Monster's interactions. While more of a drinking buddy, his own ineptitude and messes led him to be sympathetic towards the Unconquered Sun.
  • Proves that sometimes, it's a good thing that The Paragon Always Rebels. After all, he was going against the Primordials. When seeing both Cronus and the Divine Powers, he was reminded of them and decried their malevolence. However some part of him likely feels guilty for it, being what he is. The Divine Powers ignored this critique, instead calling him out on being so dedicated to fulfilling all virtues that it has limited his capabilities to actually be the Big Good of creation.
  • The Unconquered Sun recognizes the irony that he was created by the Ebon Dragon. Basically he's an invoked example of the Anti Anti Christ; a force of pure good brought about by a force of pure evil. Naturally he relates to Raven, and has a clear interest in those who defied a destiny of evil. But to those that embrace it? Well, Damien Thorn is a foil in that he lives for his maker's destiny. And he considers the Unconquered Sun's existence to be the cosmos' greatest joke. It's also another reason why he chooses to reject the Ebon Dragon; why work with someone who creates their arch-enemy just to mean something? Evil, as far as he sees it, requires being proactive.
  • Inherently opposed to evil, and all that embody or champion it are enemies of the Unconquered Sun. He is a staunch enemy of the GUAE, and they were quite upset to learn he had returned to the pantheon. Some would say he's been gone way too long after The Great Upheaval.
    • Dis is personality-wise the most like his Arch-Enemy, the Ebon Dragon. Notably the Emperor of the Kingdom Dolorous was once Lucifer, the most beautiful being that the Love created. And yet in his fall he shed all virtues, becoming an entity of pure evil and vice like the Ebon Dragon. The idea that an entity of virtue can devolve into an entity of vice is extremely disturbing to the Unconquered Sun.
    • There is of course Angra Mainyu, who is also extremely similar to the Ebon Dragon. A force of darkness and evil, like the Shadow in All Things it shows that if one were to dedicate themselves to lack of virtue, then they are inherently pathetic. Ahriman has teamed up with the Ebon Dragon in order to gang up with the Unconquered Sun, before pulling the same stunt on Ahura Mazda. However this will inevitably fail due to mutual Chronic Backstabbing Disorder.
    • Darkseid Is...not impressed by the Unconquered Sun. His business with games of divinity and obsession with virtue makes him inflexible and thus, in his eyes, a failure at being a God of Good. To his severe reluctance he admits Highfather, who has chosen to ally with the Unconquered Sun, is superior in that aspect...but this may just be mockery. As The Devil Is a Loser in no way applies to the Lord of Apokolips, he is a more serious foe. Molag Bal is a more serious foe, as despite everything he is above the Ebon Dragon in Valor.
    • Melkor, being the head of the GUAE, was not pleased to learn that the Unconquered Sun had returned. Given his snubbing of the Ebon Dragon and replacing his position with Griffith, he rationalizes this as a means of both having a foe to better define himself by and to get back at Melkor hard for said snubbing. A Stupid Evil thing to do if true, but such is the Ebon Dragon's nature. However as a fallen Arda, Melkor shares Damien's humor in the sheer irony of the Unconquered Sun's creation and reason for being.
    • As dark entities in multiple ways, Aku and Dark Gaia are on his enemies list. The Unconquered Sun is working to ascend Light Gaia to balanced out Dark Gaia. He was rather incensed to learn of the Godhand, as there is no good force to oppose them. The existence of the Idea of Evil and what it represents was chilling to him. Looking at all this, the Beast merely mocked the Unconquered Sun
The Beast:"Your efforts are futile at best! Try as you might evil will always persist, [[As Long as There Is Evil and so shall I!"
  • One to side with the light, specifically its benevolent aspects. He is a god of the sun, after all, but tends to try and not think about Sekhment and focus on her father Ra instead. Basically if you show Light Is Good or The Power of the Sun is good, count the Unconquered Sun among your friend list. Particularly Ezalor given they're on similar levels of power. Protecting the Life Entity is also important, though thinks the Entity could be nicer. The Entity simply responded "perhaps, but you could try being less smug yourself".
  • If you're a God of Good or Made of Good, you are also a firm ally of the Unconquered Sun. Especially Ahura Mazda, given how focused they are on being good. When he showed up again some in the GUAG debated on whether he would argue for leadership over Cosmos, but this came to nothing as he was content with its current leadership and is often too busy to hold a leading position. However he argues attention should be focused on their original and primal foe, the GUAE. Partly because that's what they were founded for, and partly because he's been out for so long he lacks the old-standing feuds with the other alliances that emerged while he was gone.
  • Possesses a loathing towards "Creatures of Darkness", mainly those who prove Dark Is Evil such as the main representative of Chernabog. Another lord of darkness he hates is Barbatos, a being of dark matter who champions the nightmares of the waking multiverse and the worst case scenarios. Given how burned out the Unconquered Sun is, one of these Dark Multiverse worlds is him finally snapping and going Knight Templar on everybody. This is something that innately terrifies him.
  • Nightmare Moon's desire for a night that never ends is diametrically opposed towards the Unconquered Sun. The Dark Star, a dark Omnicidal Maniac who takes the form of a star, is a great abomination to him. Then there's Nekron, who represents the void, cold and absence of light. The Lord of the Unliving chastises the Unconquered Sun as he finds the being as ineffectual and a slave to his role as Embodiment of Virtue. The Unconquered Sun shot back at this accusations by pointing out that for claiming to be an Above Good and Evil Cosmic Entity, he shows greed and grim satisfaction similar to the life he hates.
  • Despite the term "Creatures of Darkness", he holds no ill will towards Midna and those like her. However, they do hold a somewhat strained relationship, due to his ability to declare entire species fair game for holy powers. By contrast, while the idea of Light Is Not Good was initially confusing he later regarded it as a great insult and believes that in a combination of irony and pettiness, the Ebon Dragon was to blame. He claims so, but this is definitively a combination of winding his Arch-Enemy up and claiming to be a greater deal than he actually is.
    • Once opposed Amara, but she's been behaving. And the Unconquered Sun recognizes that if she dies, so does Chuck and the world of Supernatural.
  • Despite being opposed to evil on principle, some villains of the pantheon have sympathy from the Unconquered Sun. And they're rather surprising.
    • On some level, the Unconquered Sun feels bad for Giygas. His attempt to try and reconcile love with the need for conquest, and other conflicting emotions, resulted in the path to it devolving into an Almighty Idiot and Eldritch Abomination. This is mainly projection on his part, as sometimes his own Virtues end up conflicting and being problematic for him.
    • It's safe to say all heroic deities hate Zamasu with a passion. The Unconquered Sun is the exception; he recognizes the root of Zamasu's madness was the inability to find a middle ground between good and evil, and desperately trying to serve the good side. Well, that's at least how he sees it and gives him a bit more benefit of the doubt than others. Surprisingly while Zamasu believes he needs to be removed for the sake of justice, he has no hard feelings for the Unconquered Sun. He considers him a tragic figure never able to find out how one should be good, and regrets the fact they will never agree enough to work towards each other. The Unconquered Sun is one of the few beings to whom Zamasu has Villain Respect towards.
  • His setting follows Grey-and-Gray Morality, so he is distinct from that along with the Ebon Dragon due to more moral absolutism between them. It seems he's more comfortable in that field. Mithra of the Hadou Gods is most intrigued by what he represents, but critics believe she is planning to exploit him to usurp Cosmos as leader of the GUAG so she can decide what good and evil ARE. Eiki Shiki has more innocent interest in him; she wants to help him promote good and determine what is evil. The Unconquered Sun has been studying the Ones and their dynamic. The Father wishes he didn't feel as trapped by his duties, much like he does.
  • Naturally, a number of gods disagree with his methods. Nerose Satanel respects what he's doing, but believes he's not trying hard enough; he needs to eliminate all evil, period. The Unconquered Sun argues that despite his utopia, by removing free will he removed good along with evil, something the 3rd Hadou God finds as naive and weak-willed. Eliphas and the Emperor of Mankind think he's not doing enough, though for the latter it's less "be a Knight Templar" and more "you're naive and need to accept necessary evils to be effective".
  • Among his names are Sol Invictus, an actual solar cult deity most known for its following by Emperor Aurelian. He may or may not be the same being, and the Fifth Church wishes to "rectify" this along with potentially using him for their larger ambitions.

Is there anything else I can add to these two?

Rumpelstiltskin, God Of Withholding His True Name

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rumpelstiltskin.png
  • Lesser God.
  • Symbol: Golden hay wrapped around in a cone
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Portfolio: Likely a Faerie, Deal with the Devil, Withholds His Name, ultimately beaten by Exact Eavesdropping to Reveal His True Name
  • Domains: Law, Evil, Rage, Language
  • Allies: Beetlejuice
  • Enemies: Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, Puss n Boots, Courage the Cowardly Dog
  • Opposes: Billy and Mandy
  • Opposed by: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Rapunzel, Ruby Rose
  • News of Rumpelstiltskin arrival came from Billy, one of the few people in the Pantheon who didn't know how to deal with him. Mandy and Grimm made short work of that puzzle, and Rumpelstiltskin tried to convince the Court of the Gods to retract his name from the minds of those who knew. His plea was swiftly rejected. Now, he targets people who do not know of him and are too scared to ask for help.
    • His story is one of ulterior motives. He agreed to help a woman to make gold out of straw... for the condition of claiming her first born. It seemed like things would go as planned, but his arrogance convinced him to give her one chance. All she had to do was to say his name... one he had never previously given her. Again, his arrogance did him in when he proclaimed his name in the forest... right when one of the woman's spies were spying on him. Once the gig was up, he went in such a rage that no one can truly say what happened to him in the end. Some say he ripped himself in half. Other said he stomped his way all the way to Hell.
  • Shrek and his friends were on high alert upon his ascension. They knew Rumpelstiltskin still holds a grudge for robbing him of a deal with Fiona's parents. Indeed, the magical being tried to goad Shrek into wishing away his existence. This time, the ogre responded by punting him out of his swamp. One can expect Rumpelstiltskin to wait for an opportunity for Shrek to slip up.
  • Some theorize that Rumpelstiltskin is associated with dwarves. That theory isn't supported by any of the dwarven deities as all of them have disassociated themselves with the short man. Rumpelstiltskin does not care one bit, claiming jealousy at the fact that he can create gold, a feat no dwarf has done before.
  • Courage was not happy with his ascension. He already had to deal with a version of him in Scotland named Rumpelstiltskin. While that version became more friendly once he knew his name, this one has no intention of losing gracefully.
  • Turns out another fiend gave some people a similar challenge to say their name in order to win. Beetlejuice made sure that the only way to beat him was to say his name three times. The poltergeist didn't starting things on the right foot, saying the dwarf shouldn't have said his name in song form. But it didn't take long for the two to bond. Both hand magical powers and loved to use them in mischievious ways.
  • In one reality, he used the Magic Mirror to go to a world without magic in order to conquer it. He did this all while antagonizing Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel and Little Red Riding Hood in the process. The women already had a low opinion on him (Rapunzel especially since she lived through what Rumpelstiltskin could have done with the queen's baby), but this stunt was enough for all of them to put him on their shit list.

Bluebeard, Unholy Wife Killer

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bluebeard_3.jpg
  • Lesser God.
  • Symbol: Crossed katanas over a Sapphire Guard cape
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Portfolio: Serial Killer, Beard of Evil Faux Affably Evil, Wicked Cultured, The Sociopath
  • Domains: Evil, Murder, Hail, Charm, Nobility
  • Allies: Hans Westergard, Gilles de Rais, Sideshow Bob, Ramsay Bolton
  • Opposed by: All Couples Subhouses, Emily, Anna, Elsa, Scheherazade, Bart Simpson, Marge Simpson
  • Fears: Amélie Lacroix/Widowmaker, Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Bloody Mary
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Bigsby Wolf, Snow White
  • Special Relationship: Charlie Chaplin, King Henry VIII
  • Many in the couples subhouses talk of a dangerous spouse. Only known by the color of his beard, he is said to be charismatic in the public eye. Yet behind the scenes, he has a tendency to kill the wives he marries. As if that wasn't enough, he is fond of keeping his quarries in a door he keeps locked. It took the curiosity of one wife to expose his operation and end his scheme once and for all. Or that was what people thought. Reports sprang out that he hooked up with Charlotte LaBouff. Several Disney characters put a stop to it before they were intimate, but it was clear the man was here to Stay. Bluebeard has arrived in the Pantheon and he is here to stay.
  • The subhouses of Couples Archetypes, Couples Orientation and Couples Relationships were quick to ban him from their lands. Not even the evil deities there want to be associated with a man who desecrates the concept of their faiths.
  • There are a number of victims of his followers as well as admirers of his work who hoped to follow his footsteps.
    • Probably the most famous example at the moment was the story of Hans and Anna. Prince Hans hoped to use Bluebeard's playbook to wed his way into the House of Arendelle. Thankfully, the power of sisterly loved thwarted those plans and sent him packing. Regardless, Hans felt honored to meet the man who inspired him to carry out his plot.
    • Emily's case was unique in that her husband succeeded. She remains dead, and Barks would have gotten away with it if she had not returned to the town as a zombie. Barks remains dead, but is now a follower of the notorious serial killer.
  • The characters from Fables were in an odd position. They know a version of him who has reformed... or at least in under the impression of reforming. He even aids Bigby and Snow White on occasion. Even then, they remain wary of helping the man, and they are even less inclined to help the more sinister version.
  • To his surprise, he found another Frenchman who was impressed with his work. In fact, the man claimed that he was the inspiration of the fairy tale. Gilles de Rais may focus on killing children, but he was motivated by the death of Jeanne d'Arc, a woman he cared greatly for. With her death, he turned to killing multiple people before being executed. Gilles met with Bluebeard in secret, expressing his support in case he wants to resume his old ways.
  • It was no suprise that Sideshow Bob was singing praises for Bluebeard upon his ascension. He was even inspired enough to attempt the same thing on Marge's sister. He would have suceeded if not for the intuition of Bart. Neither member of the Simpsons family was happy with the arrival of Bluebeard.
  • Besides his more well-known trait of Flaying Alive his victims, Ramsay Bolton also had a habit of killing off his wives. Yet he wouldn't call his acts callous, blaming the wives for their misfortunes. He figured the same situation happened regarding Bluebeard's many wives.
  • Bluebeard was ready to face opposition to those who were against his killer ways. What he wasn't expecting was finding wives who have done the same to their husbands. The one he fears the most is literally codenamed the Black Widow. Natasha herself confirms that she has been spying on the man ever since he arrived at the Pantheon. She has made clear that if Bluebeard makes a move on someone, he would have to answer to her.
    • He also makes sure to check his widow for any sniper rounds from the Widowmaker... even though she is far less likely to target him. In fact, Amelie felt the need to kill her husband to be liberating. She is more likely to thank him for the idea... though this may change depending on whether Bluebeard become her latest hit.
  • There was one wife who escape death in a way that intrigued him. Scheherazade managed to placate her husband through a series of stories that ended in Cliffhangers. She doubts such a stratagy would work on a cold-blooded killer like Bluebeard and has no intention of trying to redeem him.
  • Bluebeard thought he had a perfect mark in a wedding dress. The woman was desperate to find some to confess her love with and she had plenty of money on her account as well. There was just one problem; the women's desire for true love became an obsession. Her insistance in staying with her at all times grated his nerves. When he decided to cut things short, he was in for a rude awakening. The person he was with was the notorious Bloody Mary, and she was far more of a handle to kill than he could have imagined. It wasn't long before she mowed him down with her vehicle Spectre.
  • Was surprised to see that someone in the Pantheon actually acted on a character based on him. That person was Charlie Chaplin and Bluebeard wanted to commend the actor on the performance. Chaplin would have none of it. The only reason he played a serial killer was to show his disdain for the countries who killed millions at war. That didn't make Bluebeard's murders any less hideous to him.
  • Bluebeard was met with an odd guest one day: King Henry VIII. Instead of berating him, the king walked in for answers. He wondered if Bluebeard's murders have been because he was unsatisfied with his wives and if Bluebeard could ever find someone he would stay for the rest of his life. It was a question Bluebeard wasn't ready to answer at the time, so he saw the king off. While Bluebeard had been motivated by the money, he does wonder if he was capable of settling down with someone.

@GeneralGigan817 You're going to have to put road runner somewhere else other then Enemies when dealing with ACME.

It was revealed in a later episode of the cartoon that ACME is "A Wholly-Owned Subsidiary of Roadrunner Corporation”, implying that the Road Runner has control of the companies products, explaining why almost everything Will E Coyote buys form them doesn't work.

Looking for betrayed hitmen and criminals for interactions

Killer Bean, God of Ridiculous Premises (Jack Bean, Compassionate Bean)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/killer_bean.png
  • Potential House: ???
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: His handguns
  • Theme Song: Fighting Mood
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: The Ace, Anti-Hero, Blood Knight, Shooted an entire warehouse because the music annoyed him, Jerkass, One-Man Army, Sociopathic Hero
  • Domains: Beans, Killing, Fighting, Guns, Crime
  • Allies: Frank Castle/The Punisher, John Wick
  • Enemies: HYDRA, The Black Organization
  • Killer Bean, real name Jack Bean, is a trained assassin who used to work for the Shadow Bean organization until they decided to dispose of him. In order to do that, he was tasked with eliminating Dark Bean, a rogue agent that left the organization with precious information and after Killer Bean succeeded he was no longer of use to them. Since then, Killer Bean has been going around the world trying to end the Shadow Bean organization for good and get back at them.
  • You may be wondering why Killer Bean ascended to the Pantheon. It didn't take long for most deities to figure out why, given that this is a world of anthropomorphic coffee beans we are talking about. Killer Bean just showed up unannounced and shot up an entire operation of criminal beans working for GUAE, which was a matter time before the rest of the Pantheon found out about his involvement. While his title is a bit ridiculous for him, he took it instead of trying to piss off most of the pantheonic big players.

Pantheon Rules found on the main page: Warning: Some who are ascended are not in the above list due to not showing works that are under-represented (i.e. only one ascended character).

I bring this up because Rmpdc made an unecessary Pantheon page for World of Tanks despite having only one representative. Permission to cut?

At this rate I'd rather post this prototype draft for the Doom Slayer because the moment I add flavor texts, it might end up confusing others to become a finished profile. So to actually get suggestions from others, here is the revamped version of the Doom Slayer. Here are some thoughts:

  • Why are Judge Dredd and Asura allies with the Doom Slayer? Maybe rage or something, but not enough evidence to connect the two.
  • Who are other known demon slayers outside of Illidan and Dante under Teeth-Clenched Teamwork due to having a demonic origin?

"Against all the evil that hell can conjure, all the wickedness that mankind can produce. We'll send unto them, only you. Rip and Tear until it is done"

King Novik, King of Argent D'Nur
The Doom Slayer, The One-Man Army Incarnate (Stan Blazkowicz, The Marine, Doom Marine/DOOM Marine, Doomguy, 12.0 on a 10.0 Scale of Badness, A Berserker-Packing Man-And-A-Half, The Boy Packin' 80 Pounds of Heavenly Joy, The Bane of Hell Itself, The Unchained Predator, The Hell Walker, DM1-5, Scourge of Hell, The Outlander, Harbinger, Sarge, The Destroyer, Stranger, Night Sentinel, God King, Khan, Space Marine, Flynn Taggard/Taggart93, "time walker", Great Slayer, The Slayer, Eternal Slayer, Empyrean Warrior, Extra Lifer, Gate Breaker, Gunslinger, He's on Fire, Immortal, Lore Master, Titan Slayer, Unmodded, Class of '94, Hell's Mightiest Warrior, Hot Stuff, Lord of Fire, MERCILESS EXTERMINATOR, Peace Man, Shareware Warrior, Slayer's Club, Soul Taker, Super Sparkle Slayer, Vet, DOOM)

[up][up] Spawn could be allied with the Doomslayer under the virtue that both fight against demons, though Spawn himself has some sort of Demonic origin, which would make an interesting dynamic. Maybe some flavor text involving The Violator and Malebolgia.

Raven is the daughter of an all-powerful demon named Trigon and she actively opposes him. The Mortal Kombat universe of the Netherrealm is filled with demonic beings who are loyal to Quan Chi, Shinnok and the Corrupted Revenants of heroes like Liu Kang and Kitana and Kung Lao.

On the topic of why Judge Dredd and Asura are allies, I'm not sure with the former. In the case of the latter, it's probably something to do with Asura getting shilled a lot in the old Pantheon days.
