Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

[up][up] I highly recommend checking the related tabs to see if there are ascended gods for said tropes or if there are people working on someone in their Sandboxes with said tropes. There’s also a database but it hasn’t been updated for some time

The Iron Teeth, Divine Race of Busy Beavers

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/iron_teeth.png

  • Quasideities
  • Hall of Rabbits and Rodents
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Symbol: A cog inside a tilted square
  • Theme music: We Are Timberborn
  • Portfolio: Animal Is the New Man, Civilized Animals, their fur and buildings are bluish-grey, Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal (but only in their artwork), can build robots, Foils to the Folktails, update 4 gave them completely different food items, reproduce through Uterine Replicators
  • Domains: Beavers, Construction and Management Games, post-apocalyptic settings, lumberpunk, metal
  • Allies: Doctor Zaius, Paul Bunyan, Lady Eboshi
  • Enemies: Captain Planet, the Planeteers, San, Hexxus
  • Pity: Handy of the Happy Tree Friends
  • Annoyed by: Fortress Dwarves
  • Banned from: The Hall of Trees and Flowers
  • The Earth is plagued by droughts, and humanity is extinct. Beavers became the new sapient species in their place, building civilisations around the precious few bodies of water left. One beaver nation, the Iron Teeth, is particularly industrial and industrious. Their motto is "work hard, work hard", and every aspect of their lives is treated like a cog in a machine. They're born from breeding pods, their food is heavily processed in factories, and they build advanced machinery using metal scavenged from ruins.
  • One day, a group of twenty-or-so Iron Teeth strolled into the Pantheon, hoping to start a new settlement there. They didn't have a temple prepared for them when they ascended; they had to build it themselves. They started out by clearing a stretch trees on the outskirts of their hall to build a few barracks. Then, they built an inventor's hut, a lumber mill, and a running wheel to power it so they could build stairs and platforms, allowing them to stack more structures on their roofs. Anyone who sees their temple agrees it's a marvel of engineering. They're currently searching the Pantheon for sources of metal so they can build a Tribute to Ingenuity, a giant monument that depicts an ironbot on top of a beaver.
  • Beavers believe that humans drove themselves to extinction. They lived in a world of fresh air and clean water, but threw it all away, leaving only scrap metal behind. Beavers see them as a failure to learn from, and try to manage their resources responsibly so they'll be here to stay. As a result, the Iron Teeth's very first ally was Doctor Zaius, who believes that humans are inherently destructive.
  • ...So it was very awkward when the Iron Teeth discovered that the Pantheon is full of actual, living humans. Despite this, they get along well with Paul Bunyan, a lumberjack who's endured the harshest that Mother Nature has to offer. They love listening to his tall tales around a campfire in the evening. Lady Eboshi, who led a militarised industrialisation project, respects the Iron Teeth for their work ethic.
  • The Iron Teeth prioritise their industrial complexes over nature. This has earned them the ire of Captain Planet and the Planeteers, who have fought against many enemies who exploit the environment; and San, who fought to protect her home forest from an encroaching mining town. They're also banned from the Hall of Trees and Flowers in case they try to reshape it to suit their needs. However, Iron Teeth aren't completely callous, since they need to replant trees to have a sustainable source of lumber. As a result, they hate gods who relish in senseless destruction, such as Hexxus.
  • They pity Handy, who tries to do construction even though he has no arms. Since the Iron Teeth are expert machine-builders, they built him a pair of prosthetic ones. He broke them almost instantly.
  • If there are any gods the Iron Teeth can't stand, it's the Fortress Dwarves. The dwarves dig holes throughout the Pantheon and nearly destroyed the foundations of their temple. The Iron Teeth have mastered fermentation, but they only use it to make long-lasting, mass-produced food, so the dwarves' debauchery appals them.

@Excessive & Sailor - I have a little bit of knowledge thanks to a little bit of my own playing, second-hand searching, and a dive onto the pages on-site connected to Arknights. If supertropes are allowed, maybe Defends Against Their Own Kind would work?

That said...

After recieving a call from one Dr. Aston Wise of the Starset Society, an acquaintance that Dustin had met in the past, the former was given a proposal of helping promote a message that was recieved from the future in the form of a band. At first, Dustin was skeptical of the offer, especially considering the fact that it was a transmission from the future. Eventually, after giving it some thought and looking into it more, he was on board with the proposal and eventually formed Starset with Ron, guitarist Brock Richards, and drummer Adam Gilbert. As the years have gone by, touring members have come and gone. Eventually, the current lineup has settled on violinist Siobhan Cronin, cellist Zuzana Engererova (simply known as Z), and multi-instrumentalist Cory Juba. As the transmissions came from an entirely different planet but were of human origin, that resulted in the space-like aesthetics of the first two albums both in sound and lyrical content. However, as a new dystopian future came to light with the previous one becoming an Alternate Timeline thanks to the actions taken in the present, the aesthetics shifted into more terrestrial matters with the new future surrounding a neural lace and the resulting war on consciousness.
  • A seemingly-anonymous transmission was sent to the Starset Society with specific instructions needing to be relayed to the band. The only thing that could be noted as some sort of identifier were the initials T.P. After making contact with everyone, they were instructed to gather at a specific venue on their own time; no band gear, instruments, or outfits. Upon arrival to the venue and walking through the door, they were greeted with the sight of the Pantheon with the Court of the Gods right before them. Starset was a big candidate for ascending to represent Space Rock within the Pantheon given their purposeful references and well-crafted sound that is often associated with the genre. The band was still letting the fact of the matter sink in, taking a moment to talk amongst themselves regarding the proposal. Dustin, being the main force behind the band, has made it known that there is so much more behind them and that their work is more cinematic in nature than it is simply space. However, he does understand where the Court is coming from in terms of why they are a candidate. Eventually, after further discussion, the band accepts their place in the House of Musicality.
    • Given that it was due to their influence and proposal that Dustin started Starset in the first place, it was requested that Aston and the Starset Society alongside Thomas Bell are to be their heralds. It took a bit of discussion with the House of Time and Temporality in regards to Thomas, given that the world he comes from is of an alternate timeline and in the year 2047. However, it was his story that inspired the band's first album and, given that Dustin has the most contact with the Starset Society, he wanted to make sure that Thomas knew his message was received and that his efforts weren't in vain.
    • Dustin's dog, Ernie, was also given allowance to be present due to being the band's sort-of mascot.
    • A sentient AI known as MNQN, formally known as MNON, was also requested by Dustin to be a herald due to the two of them having worked together in the past and he didn't feel right leaving her out. While the initial reason for their meeting was due to her taking on his visage and voice without his knowledge, he eventually did understand her plight and was willing to offer his assistance in her own endeavors. After the release of the resulting album under her name, MNQN retains a form of gratitude towards Dustin for actually being genuine in helping her and letting her vent her experience with Sentience Corp without judgement. The experience helped her continue to develop her own individuality so accepting the role as a herald was seen as a way to return the favor for all that he did for her.
  • Their temple is not so much a temple as it is a sci-fi planetarium with the ceiling being a very large dome shaped screen. This screen can shift to showcase the different constellations and night skies of many different worlds. The planetarium is also filled with holograms that can shift to showcase different star systems and planets on a small scale. Off to the side, in a separate room, is a personal workshop where the more crafty members of the band (like Dustin and Adam) can work in if they don't feel the need to visit the other houses. Within the very center of the planetarium's main room is a large, circular stage. While the band does tour the Pantheon in general, performing within their own temple is not unlike performing a hometown show. Due to the circular stage, the setup would end up incorporating the main room as a whole rather than just the stage platform.
  • While the band acts more as the voice of the Starset Society, they are still connected with their workings and the fact that they have received various transmissions from the future. Because of that connection, Dustin often takes guidance from those in the House of Time and Temporality willing to offer it so as to not cause any unneeded disruption or accidental damage. It did take a moment for Dustin to stop nerding out considering who some of the other present deities are...
  • The band does aim to do their usual demonstrations around the Pantheon as ascension shouldn't get in the way of both playing music and promoting their message. Among their destinations are the House of Knowledge, the House of Space and Cosmos, the House of Machinery and Technology, and the House of Musicality. Due to their stance, they are adamant about staying out of the Pantheonic Forever War unless their assistance is absolutely necessary. Even then, the only one with some of the proper hands-on experience is Dustin due to his background as an engineer. So, while he does frequent the House of Machinery and Technology to help prototype and develop new items to help enhance the band's stage setup, he doesn't want to personally involve himself in the various large conflicts. He isn't afraid to speak up about anything, though.
    • The Starset Society's (and, in turn, Starset's) stance on technology is in support of it while also being aware of how much of a double-edge sword it can be. Due to that, they are very much weary of the Grand United Alliance of Machines.
    • Upon learning about what had happened in his world and his great efforts in science, Starset and the Starset Society support and are willing to assist Senku Ishigami in his endeavors. The Starset Society is also accepting any newfound knowledge from Senku should any come to light.
  • Due to the marriage between Siobhan and Brock, some of their interactions can be seen within the waters of the Bonding Fountain. When the two of them have heard about the fountain itself and what other deities are capable of with it, they have vocalized concerns regarding the matter. It doesn't sit right with them to know that their relationship can be meddled with due to outside forces like that and have requested that they remain unaffected by such meddling if the effort is possible. They feel it better for the developments of their relationship to be more natural.
    • That said, due to their more musical dedications among other things, they never really visit that house in general.
  • Due to their status as touring musicians even if they are as much as a part of Starset as the other members, Siobhan, Zuzana, and Cory also offer their talents to the other musicians in the House of Musicality should any of them require it. Siobhan and Zuzana are often with the more classical musicians due to the fact that they are well versed with their respective orchestral instruments. However, they don't shy away from helping those in other genres, especially rock, if they need some of that symphonic element. Cory, due to being a multi-instrumentalist, can cover a variety of areas should an extra guitar be needed or if synths are on the table. Due to that, he can be seen with different electronic artists and other rock musicians.
  • Adam does a lot of art on the side whenever he isn't at a drum kit so, when he feels like creating something, he often visits the House of Craft to start off. Given his approach with art is more along the lines of splatter art, he is often a target of interest from various Inklings and Octolings whenever he's around. Thanks to the interest, Adam decided to try returning the favor; working with and helping inspire them. It might not be long until Adam starts making his art with a splattershot.
  • Thanks to the new timeline depicting the dystopia under the Brain Machine Interface and the horrors of Supplication should those out of line be punished with it, the band are very sympathetic towards those who have had to endure similar dystopian settings alongside those who are taking action against the people who run them in order to create a better world. The members of San Fransisco's DedSec are an example of those that have netted Starset's respect for making use of the technology they have in their efforts in such an endeavor.
  • After meeting and helping MNQN, Dustin had developed a soft spot for AI personalities that are just developing their own individuality and it hurts him to know that some have either struggled with or have had resistance against such a desire. Connor, Kara, and Markus from their version of Detroit have his sympathies due to all that they went through and he is willing to stand by them if anyone tries to bring them down. After them, there was Aigis and Labrys. Even if Dustin still had to let the phenomena of Personas sink in, he still wanted to connect with them and help them hone their sense of self. Alongside that, two of them would be able to bond over their canine companions with Aigis meeting Ernie and Dustin meeting Koromaru. And then there was Data, someone Dustin knew he had to be patient with. He knew the other wanted to learn more but, given the complexity of emotions, there's a lot to learn and take in. That said, it really isn't best explained as it is experienced. On that note, Dustin holds out an open offer to Data to join him in on a music session. After all, music can convey a lot.
    • Because of this soft spot, he is also weary of those who try to take advantage of these sorts of AI personalities whether it be viruses, malevolent hackers, or something else entirely.
  • Not long after their arrival into their respective house, the band eventually encountered Linkin Park among the various other bands present. Given that they were cited as an inspiration for Starset's sound, seeing the band both ascended and reunited was a tearful and welcome sight. With the chance to properly interact for the first time, both bands were able become friends with each other and were able to relate to wanting to break the mold in music and experiment with their sounds. Not only that, it isn't a rare sight to see some of the more serious members like Dustin and Ron join in on some of the goofing around that Chester may start.
    • It is likely that, if Starset hadn't ascended, they would have been followers due to how often their songs, especially "My Demons", have been used in various fan-made videos.
  • There has been expressed interest in meeting with the Rhodes Island Operators should any of them also ascend to the Pantheon due to the musical contributions they have made for them. At the same time, they have made it a note to be careful due to the fact that many of the operators have Oripathy which is both lethal and contageous. For their sake and others, should it come down to it, Starset is willing to set up a system for them to remotely attend any of their demonstrations should any of them express interest.
  • Due to Ernie also being present with the band, there have been some concerns regarding a dog wandering through the House of Musicality. Dustin has made sure to reassure everyone that Ernie is well behaved and is safe around various music equipment; he has traveled with the band on their tours many times with little issue, after all.
    • A rule has been made, however, that Ernie is not allowed to stray far from Dustin whenever both of them are in the house's various studios.
  • The House of Machinery and Technology is always on the ready in case something goes wrong during a demonstration due to how much tech is used for the stage setup. Since Dustin always has the urge to take everything one step further in order to help the performance feel more immersive, a lot of effort is taken to keep the tech well maintained and to keep Dustin from overworking himself or doing too much for him to handle.

[up]Will they be in the Hall of Music Genres? If so, the pothole under David Bowie's name is redundant. Other than that, [tup].

[up] Noted about the supertropes part! I feel like Rhodes Island as a whole could fall under the trope I mentioned but, given I don't know the game enough, I wouldn't know how the put it together. Plus I do wanna focus on Starset's profile before anything else. That said, they are going under Rock and Metal, which resulted in me realizing I need to get rid of the pothole under Epica and Trent Reznor.

  • On the continent of Elyos, the people of the land and the Divine dragons were once attacked by the forces of the wicked Fell Dragon Sombrom. Sombron sought to control the thirteen Emblems Rings, which contained spirits known as emblems that granted the user fantastic abilities, and once combined could grant ultimate power. However, Sombron was struck down and sealed by Alear, a divine dragon who was the child of divine dragon monarch Lumera, but not before they were dealt a data blow and were forced into a thousand-year slumber. After awakening, the Dragon Child would awaken and lead the four nations of Elyos once more against the Fell dragon to defeat him once and for all. Afterward, they would succeed their mother Lumera as the Divine Dragon Monarch of Elyos. However, that is not the full story: Alear is only Lumera's child by adoption, and was born as a Fell Dragon fathered by Sombron. However, Lumera's kindness convinced them to switch sides and turn on their father, becoming a true hero. After their awakening, they would also die and be resurrected two times: first as a Corrupted, and the second time as the thirteenth emblem of their world, The Fire Emblem.
  • It was a normal day in the pantheon, with a bright blue sky many considered to be a good omen. It was on this day that many Fire Emblem deities found mysterious altars in their temples. On some of these altars were rings, and on others bracelets. After it was reported that there had been 11 rings and 4 bracelets in the pantheon, these objects suddenly moved on their own, flying out of the temples and to a previously unknown chapel in the House of Religion and Faith. The Fire Emblem deities followed the rings and bracelets to this chapel, where they found an interesting sight. The rings and bracelets opened up a portal through time and space, and through walked Alear, the Divine Dragon of Elyos. This was not the first time Alear had met these deities, as a female Alear had been summoned by The Order of Heroes. However, the heroes such as Marth were confused about why Alear wanted to "Engage" with them, and why Alear seemed to know them even though they had no such memories. Luckily, Alear was now available to explain the full story:
    • In the war between the Divine and Fell Dragons in Elyos's ancient past, the Divine dragons prayed for help through summoning rituals, and these prayers were answered by Emblems, spirits that took the forms of great heroes from other worlds. These Emblems are not the heroes themselves, but carry a similar if a more powerful set of abilities that they can impart to users of their bracelets or rings. Each Fire Emblem deity with an altar in their temple has a corresponding emblem of their likeness that allied with Alear, carried within a ring(for Alear's Elyos) or a bracelet(for an alternate Elyos). Through many trials and tribulations, Alear had come to bond with each of the emblems, so much so that the twelve ring emblems of the main Elyos had decided to use their one-time emergency power to revive Alear as the thirteenth Emblem. After Alear finished telling their tale and cleared up the confusion, these deities decided to become proper friends with the new Lord, as their respective emblems had once done.
  • Alear's temple is a grounded replica of the Somniel, a floating island where they slept for a thousand after the first war against the Fell Dragon. They often invite over friends to swin in the pool, fly wyverns in a shooting game, train in the arena, and enjoy meals together. And it is 'only' by invite, as just like with the old Somniel it is impossible to enter the new one without Alear's permission as Divine Dragon. Alear lives here accompanied by their stewards Vander, Clanne, and Framme, along with their adoptive mother Lumera and sister Veyle.
  • Now that Alear could interact with living, breathing, people instead of incorporeal spirits, they took on the task of strengthening their bonds with the Fire Emblem characters whose emblems they had interacted with in the past.
    • As the first Emblem that Alear met after their awakening and the Emblem that they used under Sombron, Marth was the first deity that Alear visited after they were situated. There, Marth introduced Alear to his wife Caeda, whose voice and role as a Pegasus Knight reminded Alear of a certain fairy-tale lover. Caeda also sternly stated that there will be no "engaging" between Alear and Marth, although the Emblem Marth in his temple is fair game. Alear to find that Tiki was an adult in the pantheon, though still a bit childish as Emblem Tiki was literally a child. Alear learned from Tiki that the pantheon not only had other dragons from Fire Emblem worlds, but dragons of other worlds as well. Alear is thinking about visiting them someday to learn more about their kind.
    • Celica introduced Alear to Alm, her husband and better half. The two then recommended that Alear should meet Duma and Mila, two sibling Divine Dragons whose rule over their respective nations fell into excess. Alear has resolved to meet the two eventually to learn how to become a better ruler but has not decided when. Alear was later surprised to learn about how Alm and Celica's army was the first to fight and seal Grima
    • While Alear knew that Sigurd died and had that his son had to take up the mission of peace and justice, they had not yet met Seliph until they had come to the pantheon. However, the two lords became friends nearly instantly, and spend much time telling each other about their respective adventures. It also helps that Alear became friends with Emblem Lief, who took the form of Sigurd's nephew and Seliph's cousin. Alear was also surprised to learn that dancers in Jungdral could refresh all adjacent allies without needing the power of an emblem.
    • Alear was surprised to learn that Roy did not necessarily have the strength and high survivability as the Emblem they had known but found the same kind heart and determined soul. Alear pledged their support to Roy and assured him that even if he wasn't as badass as the other lords he was no less valuable. Roy also introduced Alear to some of the people he was close to. Alear was glad to meet yet another Divine Dragon in the form of Fae and is impressed by the young dragon's power, and agreed to help supervise her playtime if required. Alear also had the pleasure of meeting the half-ice dragon Ninian and Roy's Father Eliwood, who like Roy are not the strongest but make up the difference in heart. And before you ask, Alear does not have a guess in who Roy's mother is and refuses to pry any further out of respect for Eliwood and Elibe's women.
    • Alear was also glad to reunite with Hector and Lyndis, whose strength and speed were great assets during their war against the Fell Dragon. Alear was also introduced to Lilina, who despite having a different demeanor from her father was no less of a strong fighter, although magically instead of physically. Lyn also introduced Alear to the Tactician, who despite not being very talkative was somewhat friendly. However, some suspect that the Tactician is jealous of Alm, Byleth, and Alear for having the ability to rewind time to save allies from otherwise lethal blows, while they had to avoid deaths with only careful planning and tactics.
    • Alear is grateful to spend more time with Eirika and Ephiram, and especially talk to Ephiram, who was not very present outside of battle as an emblem. As fell dragons are born as twins but are fated to have at least one die, they are glad that these twins are able to continue to support each other into adulthood unlike their own family. They have heard about the rumors of an incestuous relationship but do not believe them. The twins have also warned Alear about the presence of evil demon lords in the pantheon, who they might want to watch out for in their position as a divine dragon.
    • Alear is glad to "reunite" with Ike and Micaiah, who quickly befriended the Divine Dragon but also warned them of two dangerous foes who they should be very careful around: The Black Knight and Ashera, the goddess of order. Alear heeded their warnings, but while they do their best to keep a lookout for Ashera, they feel like they could stand their ground against the Black Knight if necessary. Alear was also introduced to the Herons, and agreed with many others that their singing voice was beautiful.
    • Alear was glad to meet once again with Lucina, Chrom, and Robin, who were glad to learn that the new Lord was able to defy the odds with the power of their bonds. The three also warned Alear about Grima, the Fell Dragon who had destroyed an alternate future. Alear mused internally that not only would a battle between the two would technically be two Fell dragons against each other, Alear had also explored an alternate ruined version of their world as well. It remains to be seen if Alear being a Fell dragon would allow them to damage Grima more effectively.
    • Corrin and Camilla, along with Azura, the Hosidan Royals, and the rest of the Norhian Royals, came to Alear's temple one day to celebrate their ascension with a large feast along with the other Fire Emblem deities. During the meal Corrin and the royals recounted the story of how Corrin had united both Hoshido and Nohr against Anankos, who was manipulating events in their world as revenge against humanity. Alear was impressed by their tale and asked to be their ally in the future to face even greater enemies in the pantheon, and everyone agreed. Alear is now also vigilant for any signs that the silent Dragon may be concocting another scheme, and vows to stand against whatever it may be. They have also heard of another evil dragon related to words by the name of Aldiun, and now also opposes the World-Eater.
    • Lastly, Alear met with Byleth and found their position as a teacher in Elysium Academy very appropriate. Byleth is grateful that the Emblem Byleth in Elyos improved the main version's image by showing that they do in fact have a personality. Sometimes, the two pour some tea and have a nice chat.
  • No matter whether they appear as male or female at a given time, Alear is always recognizable by their striking red and blue hair, which has led to comparisons with the mascot Pepsiman. Intrigued by these comments, Alear decided to visit the eccentric superhero. They were impressed with Pepsiman's heroic attitude, even though he doesn't actually fight crime all that much.
  • Alear has the dubious privilege of being the only pure-blooded "natural" dragon(as in they were born as one) in the pantheon who cannot transform into a dragon form, as their Dragon Stone was given to their sister Veyle and later broken on their first death. This does not bother them very much, as even without a transformation they can still hold their own in combat, especially as an emblem. This lack of transformation also doesn't bother them very much, as they still have superhuman powers in human form. Despite this, evil dragons such as Tiamat and On a related note, they have also heard of The Dovahkiinm, a warrior who kills and absorbs the souls of dragons. For now, they'll stay clear of this draconic human.
  • As they and their siblings were forced to gather the emblem rings for Sombron under the threat of death, Alear does not take kindly to abusive parents who use their children in service of evil plans. This is especially true for villains like Ozai, who used his children as part of his plan to kill the avatar and take over the world. On the other end of the spectrum, Alear respects Good Parents who support their children and help them thrive, especially single parents such as Greg Universe and adoptive parents like Kirito and Asuna( as Alear was also adopted by Lumera).
  • In their home world Alear was death afraid of corrupted, corpses reanimated by fell dragon magic, despite having to fight them to protect the world. In the pantheon, they are understandably a little afraid to be near the house of Undead and Phantasma, regardless of the alignments of the individual zombies there. On the other hand, the love to be at the House of Beasts and Fauna, and will sometimes adopt some animals to bring back with them to the Somniel.
  • As the emblems of the "main" Elyos were contained within rings, Alear is also interested in other rings in the pantheon which grant power. Alear is impressed by the powers of the Green and Blue Lanterns and their determination in the fight for peace and hope, but has mixed opinions on the Red, Orange, and Indigo lanterns, who for varying reasons remind them of how fell dragon energy took away free will from Emblems. However, Alear respects how all of them set their differences aside to fight Nekron. Alear also heard of another notable ring in the form of "The One Ring" that could grant the wielder great powers. However, after a timely meeting with Gandalf, they are no longer interested in seeking out the ring and have pledged their aid to fight Sauron and Melkor if required. Gandalf is just relieved that the possibility of a divine dragon being corrupted by the ring has been avoided.
  • As not just a dragon but a divine ruler with the responsibility to maintain peace in Elyos, Alear is always looking to meet divine leaders in hope of learning how to be a better ruler. After fitting themself into a very busy schedule, Alear was finally able to meet with Sigmar Unberogen, the God-King of the Warhammer World and swap stories. Alear was amazed by how Signmar was able to restore his entire world after it was destroyed by the forces of Chaos, and Sigmar was also impressed with how Alear betrayed their evil father and came back from the dead multiple times to finish Sombron off for good while being compelled by Love and Friendship. The two also bonded over not being incredibly enthusiastic about being worshipped as deities, but have taken up the position regardless for the sake of doing good. The emperor invited the young dragon to the Grand United Alliance of Good, and Alear gladly accepted.
  • While performing errands on GUAG business, Alear bumped into the superhero Orion, who was also attending to business in the House of Heroism. They started talking to each other, and in time became good friends. When Alear told Orion about how they were in fact born as a red-colored fell dragon and turned against their evil father to be adopted as Lumera's child, Orion instantly recognized the similarity to his own story. Sometimes the two can be seen hanging out around the pantheon.
  • Before they woke up to begin their second and last campaign against the Fell Dragon, Alear received a prophetic but ultimately inaccurate dream of them striking down Sombron. One day in the Pantheon, Alear became interested in why they and other Fire Emblem protagonists had dreams of a similar kind and went to the Hall of Dreams and Nightmares in search of answers. There, they met the Dreamweaver Ysera, who did not have an answer to their question but nonetheless took an interest in the young dragon and introduced them to her other (good)siblings. Alear finds Alexstrasza's desire to protect her children and her story of tragically losing her lovers is remarkably similar to their own mother Lumera, who lost her loved ones during the war against the Fell Dragons. After going from being an agent of Sombron to becoming a real hero and seeing their sister Veyle do the same, Alear is also convinced that Nozdormu can overcome his dark fate, but the Timeless One is not so optimistic, though he does find Alear's use of the Draconic Time Crystal to rewind time as a bit interesting. The three regard Alear as a younger sibling of sorts, imparting their wisdom on how to be good rulers and properly uphold the cosmic balance.

John Baker, Patron Saint Of Severe Supply Shortage Stages (Baker, Italian War Hero Gino Corelli) - Medal of Honor: Allied Assault's Breakthrough Expansion Pack is infamous for having the vast majority of its levels start with the player, in this case Sgt. Baker himself, starting out with a very limited ammunition supply. What makes it worse, you ask? The fact that ammunition drops, and even health packs, are just as limited, if not moreso, with many hidden away or located in areas swarming with enemy units. And if that wasn't enough, this is done even on the lower difficulties, whereas Allied Assault and Spearhead only did this ammo and health pack limiting on the "Hard" Difficulty setting. This, plus the levels themselves being rather Nintendo Hard as they are, make this game rather infamous and polarizing compared to it's two companions.

  • Frankie the Fly, God Of Backing Dictatorships For Personal Gain (The Dark Don) - Following his defeat at the end of the first game in the series, Frankie decides to aid the Nazis during their rise to power in the 1930s, by offering them the formula to the Zombie Poison that caused the Zombie Apocalypse in Thugtown. As a result of this transaction, Frankie was paid in millions of Reichsmarks, made an officer in the Wehrmacht, and given a ton of resources, the latter of which included his own private army of Nazi soldiers, and an Elaborate Underground Base in the Bavarian Mountains. With his funds, Frankie, now called "The Dark Don", would make further contributions to the Nazis during World War II, by developing advanced wonderweapon technology like guided missiles, a new generation of Cool Airships resembling UFOs, further research on the zombie poison including an antidote, and experimentation on human test subjects and zombies, converting several into cyborg soldiers. Due to Frankie's obsession with betraying his own allies for personal gain, however, he was eventually planning on usurping Hitler, becoming the new Nazi leader in the process, and Taking Over The World by unleashing the Zombie Poison on the Allies and the rest of the world, with him having a monopoly on the only cure.

  • Vincent Cannoli, The God Who's Immune to Infectious Agents (The Tyrant of Thugtown, Thugtown Slayer, Vinnie, Mr. Vinnie) - Replacing Nick Ramos, the current holder, as his profile is rather short by today's Pantheon standards. In the first game, despite being repeatedly bitten, spat on, mauled, and scratched by various zombies during the Thugtown Incident, mobster-turned-zombie slayer Vinnie Cannoli never turned, despite several police officers and US Army soldiers (who never ingested tainted whiskey containing the Zombie Poison) also getting infected by the aforementioned means. Come the second game, it's revealed that following his arrest and incarceration, the US government had studied Vinnie's blood, and released an official report stating that the man suffered no ill effects from the poison, nor could spread it to anyone. The report itself concluded that it would be possible to create an antidote from his blood if and when further study is conducted, and that Vinnie himself would be released with all his criminal charges dropped due to his status as a Living MacGuffin. Unfortunately, it's this immunity of his that makes him the target of a vengeful Frankie the Fly, who in 1944 works with the Nazis in attempting to unleash the Zombie Poison on the Allies and the rest of the world in his own egomaniacal attempt to have the Axis win the war, with Frankie himself as the new Fuhrer.

[down] TY. I already changed the title for Vinnie in my Sandbox per your recommendation.

The third should be called God of Immunity To Infectious Agents. Otherwise, [tup] for all three suggestions.

[up][up]Wouldn't it be better to ask Faso first considering he did Nick Ramos back then? I mean, he did Niko Bellic's profile and he was able to give his thoughts about it before you gave the rework approval on my idea.

I'm feeling much more confident with the profile now! I did make a few additions and some extra corrections while I was at it.

  • Formed in Columbus, Ohio in 2013, Starset began when frontman Dustin Bates and bassist Ron DeChant were just nearing the end of their work with Downplay, their previous band.
After making contact with everyone, they were instructed to gather at a specific venue on their own time; no band gear, instruments, or stage outfits.
    • Given that it was due to their influence and proposal that Dustin started Starset in the first place, it was requested for Aston, the Starset Society in general, and Thomas Bell to be their heralds. It took a bit of discussion with the House of Time and Temporality in regards to Thomas, given that the world he comes from is of an alternate timeline and in the year 2047. However, it was his story that inspired the band's first album and, given that Dustin has the most contact with the Starset Society compared to the rest of the band, he wanted to make sure that Thomas knew his message was received and that his efforts weren't in vain.
Due to that, they are very much weary of the more anti-organic movements of the Machine Uprising like The Assimilation and Rex Machina. On the flipside, they respect both the Gears Of Liberation and the Clockwork Union for their stances of seeking their right to exist and coexist. Should members of either the Gears or the Union desire support or reparations if they are damaged, the Starset Society is willing to provide.
    • Upon learning about what had happened in his world and his great efforts in science, Starset and the Starset Society support and are willing to assist Senku Ishigami in his endeavors. The Starset Society is also accepting any newfound knowledge from Senku should any come to light.
  • Nikola Tesla is an interesting figure to bring up around members of the Starset Society, Starset included, given some of his actions in their universe. Overall they respect his genius and innovation alongside his contributions to the world of technology. At the same time, the Nikola of their universe is also (chronologically) the first one to recieve Thomas' transmissions and one of the originators of the Order of Teslonia, a group that is the main opposition to the Starset Society as of present day. So while there is no vitriol and the Starset Society is willing to work with him due to the fact different incarnations of a single person can exist in the Pantheon, there is still a slight air of unease.
    • The House of Costumes works in tandem with the House of Machinery and Technology in regards to Starset for this same reason, especially since the spacesuit costumes that Brock, Ron, and Adam wear on stage are also made with specialized tech made for the band's performances (the lights and fog jets that sync with the music being among them). Both houses do commend Dustin's ambitions and innovation for the sake of the show but, at the same time, want to make sure he knows when it becomes too much without taking away the intent and vision he has.

  • Good Terms With: Any good-aligned or neutral-aligned deities that like his fish.
  • Opposes: All deities that say his fish isn't fresh.
  • Banned from: Hall of Aquatic Life.

  • Unhygenix is the fishmonger of Asterix's village, he sells fish from the town of Lutetia that have taken up to a week to arrive rather than get fresh fish from the sea. The length of the time it takes for the fish arrive means that they have gone stale which leads to his fish having a habit of giving people food poisoning.
  • Unhygenix was going to apply to be the God of Shamu Fu. However he got distracted by a Cramorant eating one of Unhygenix's stale fishes. The Cramorant was so disgusted by the taste that it immediately launched the fish at Unhygenix. Unhygenix then responded by throwing fishes at Cramorant who caught them and threw the fishes so hard that by the time Unhygenix was defeated, Unhygenix was buried in fish. After this Unhygenix decided that Cramorant was a much better choice for god of Shamu Fu, he also viewed Cramorant as a worthy opponent and any time he actually had fresh fish he gave some to Cramorant.

The Grand United Alliances + Other Faction Reworks Have Been Made Official, Replacing The Older Alliance and Faction Pages!

There's still Step 3 (updating wicks and references to older groups now), but with the reworks being official, do ensure that your profiles refer to factions with the following categories now:

Most are assumed empty rn, but it's always been open to add in deities that fit in respective Alliance divisions or Uprising movements. You do not need to ask permission for adding deities that are still in the Pantheon in the forum, just drop them in if they meet the guidelines and let other people evaluate later

There's the Pantheon Faction Archive page if you want to archive the now discontinued Pantheon pages on a different website or use them as reference (Please do not reimplement blindly).

If you want to update wicks instead of just removing them, here's a reference for which subdivisions are similar to old ones, if any.

Index for Grand United Alliances and Uprisings pages
Note that with current council leaders, their influence is no longer as relevant as before.

Grand United Alliance of Good

GUAG Protectorate Union: For staunch defenders of the innocent and the helpless, saving the day when villains intrude upon their denizens of the Pantheon. (This is the closest thing to a group for heroic-action people, but it is expected that added members here are generally more here for the heroism than the fighting)

GUAG Ambassador Fellowship: For deities dedicated to creating mutual friendships, amending tensions, and peaceful communication with outsiders when viable. (For deities focused on settling conflicts peacefully or with diplomacy.)

GUAG Ministry Of Atonement: A sanctuary for former bad guys who genuinely desire to walk on the path of Good, and those who help such people find redemption. (For deities that are focused on redeeming villains or for formerly evil people who genuinely want to serve Good, will replace the current one)

GUAG Psychiatry Of Hope: Home to those who actively seek to instill hope in others, or to aid those with mental burdens and traumas, setting them on a well-intending path for them and those around them. (Sort of like GUAG's Psych Warfare division? But more focused on hope + mental recovery)

GUAG Deus Ex Salvator: A support group that focuses on carrying missions for aiding those in medical need, assisting recovery from devastation, and ensuring that no deity is left behind in desperate times. (A mix of old GUAG's Medical + Intelligence division + Support Staff I guess)

GUAG Solution Sleuths: Not only do they counter the dirty business that can go on in other factions, they watch the watchers, investigate what evil tries to hide from them, and look into mysteries and anomalies to resolve. (A group mainly for either those who help the GUAG intellectually but research stuff for the sake of Good)

Grand United Alliance of Evil

GUAE Conqueror Brigade: Houses the most ambitious deities that seek power for power itself, at any costs, leaving no obstacle untrampled, even each other. Any untouched territory or opportunity they tread upon may as well be theirs. (Any big representatives of ambitious villainy go here)

GUAE Dystopia Harbingers: Dreaded figures of tyranny and repression that seek to bend everything to their will in any matter they deem best. (Maybe some members from Harbingers Of Repression would go here? It's focused on tyranny and dystopia mainly)

GUAE Twisted Tormentors: The gifts that this group's depraved members bring upon those under them are terror, ruination, suffering, and despair, and in exchange, their own benefit, pleasure, and amusement. (GUAE Trollkaiger kind of)

GUAE Wicked Masterminds: A devious group of endlessly-scheming geniuses and masterminds who not only writhe out evil plans for the likes of the GUAE's interests, but also using the new gifts the Pantheon brings and all the knowledge that comes with it for corrupt and warped purposes, with even the most innocent creations twisted for wicked ends. (For evil geniuses, scientists, and schemers mainly)

GUAE Abyssal Corruptors: This frightening sub-faction holds not only those who seek to make advocates of good turn their faces back, but tragic examples of those who were left with no other path but to answer the call of villainy. (For those focused on corrupting good or fallen heroes basically, a mix of GUAE Corruption Agents and GUAE Fallen Stars )

GUAE False Shepherds: Harbors those who seek to not only advertise their villainy as the best, but to handle affairs and exchanges with fellow villains to ensure that the dealings of evil can slip through the shadows. (Not much changed from the current one tbh, just make sure if you're importing from the current one, the deity hasn't been removed)

Grand United Alliance of Law

Note that since it no longer cares about YHVH's idea of order, it can mainly follow genuine order for the sake of order and peace.

GUAL Discipline Tutelary: The members of this group have dedicated themselves to instill the meanings and values of order onto their subjects, on top of fixing entropy, disorder, and problematic mindsets from troublemakers. (GUAL Ministry Of The Word but it mainly focuses on furthering ideals on order itself and correcting the disorderly, and teaching)

GUAL Titan Overseers: The main security force of the alliance. Deal with handling the safety of citizens living under them, and preventing internal chaos and disorder, ensuring protection above all else. As far as they're concerned, it's all for the greater good of everyone. (The TPPD can move here since the GUAL's purpose is more conducive with its concept, and other deities that enforce order to protect people.)

GUAL Judgement Magistrate: Ensure that lawbreakers are precisely and fairly given their dues. They also seek to reform and perfect the standards of order that the Alliance sets to leave no power unchecked. (Would be where court people handle things, and where intellectual deities who want to decide on what is the best way to create order or perfection could be, and making sure the watchmen are watched)

GUAL Insurgency Suppressors: When chaos is at a dangerous high, retaliate from this faction's members is inevitable. A tough squad of enforcer deities that hunt down those who would throw their people into mayhem. They reinforce order where it's weak, quash riots and troublesome rebellions, and suppress dangerous movements. (Where more extreme enforcers of order would reside, for those who mainly focus on fighting against rebellion and chaos)

Grand United Alliance of Chaos

GUAC Regime Disruptors: Their goal is to destabilize order where they deem it too unbearable, whether by confronting tyrants directly or by sabotaging their efforts. Some choose to instead gift those normally incapable with the ability to rebel against their masters. (Deities that are focused directly on fighting tyranny or intrusive order, in one way or another, or helping others do the same)

GUAC Anarchy Masters: Their goal is to not only advocate for the benefits of being unrestrained by laws and authority, but to make examples of what unfettered power can bring to those willing to hold nothing back. (For prideful examples of The Unfettered and advocates of forgoing order and law)

GUAC Forbidden Scholars: Whether it's by creating life, entities and objects of destruction, or by studying into unknown or even taboo subjects, the members of this division will research, test, and experiment to their heart's content, and with little worry of rejection. (GUAC The Lab mainly, just note that it would hold "amoral" scientists, not "evil" scientists.)

GUAC Thriller Gang: Full of mischievous pranksters and fun-loving denizens that seek fun and entertainment, free from the influences of moral guardians, and pursuing whatever opportunities for adventures and experiences the Pantheon provides. (Where deities go to pursue fun and entertainment at the expense of rules)

Nature Uprising

The new "GUAN", but Gaea isn't exactly a direct leader of everything anymore.

Eternity Blessing: A movement for guardians and progenitors of life and nature that desires further attention and respect toward creation and the natural world, some may even believe in technological regression. Regardless, the prosperity of nature and natural life itself is their top priority. (Nature and life-related deities that exert and promote nature over all else)

Terra Restoration Squad: The main objective of this movement is restore the thriving of nature within areas of barren wastelands or devastation, on top of keeping deities of pollution in check. Usually tend to a moral movement that respects civil developments, but are very watchful of industrial and business giants that may threaten nature. (Friendly defenders of nature, an expansion of GUAN Natural Activists that may come into conflict with...)

Gaea's Avengers: An extremist movement that consists of deities that seek to "humble" those who would take the gifts of nature for granted. Members must prove to be able to set aside their mercy for their duty in eliminating any who would dare endanger the natural environments and ecosystems that make up the many worlds and realms within the Pantheon. (A more loose movement that is GUAN Gaea's Avengers basically, but with a little less restraint, but they'd be butting heads a lot more often)

Machine Uprising

The new GUAM, except only half of the movements are extremely hostile to organic life!

The Assimilation: A movement for the Machine deities that seek either the conversion of organic mass into mechanical, if not all other life in general, or eliminating organics that cannot be converted. (Machine deities that want to assimilate organic life basically)

Rex Machina: A movement that seeks to make Machine-kind and their calculating ways superior to their creators. While having distinct goals from The Assimilation, they usually tend to be just as oppressive toward the likes of those made of flesh and bone. (Machine deities that don't care about assimilation, but still want to be superior to their creators)

Gears Of Liberation: A gentler counter-movement in the Machine Uprising that desires a mutually beneficial co-existence between machine and man, even if it means dealing with more antagonistic movements in the Uprising. They are also the most accepting of members who aren't robots or artificial creations but are similarly aligned in their goals. (This would be a mix of GUAG White Hats and some friendly members of Liberion Arcadia basically, and other machines or friends of machines that desire machine and man coexisting)

Clockwork Union: These machine deities don't want to antagonize their creators nor organics, but care about robot and machine independence the most, even if mainly prioritizing their own safety above others. Often seen as a neutral movement within the Uprising, not that it prevents them from getting into conflict with those who oppose machines like them. (More neutral deities that care more about machine prosperity and independence but don't care about being friends nor enemies with others, other members of Liberion Arcadia could go here on top of robots that are ambivalent toward humans)

@RJ: [tup] for your profiles

[up][up] [tup], it's in good shape now, but just some notes because with the Alliances + other faction reworks being official now, the following stuff needs to be updated (I can do that for you later if you don't feel like it)

[up][up]There doesn't seem to be a god of Shamu Fu, and Cramorant definitely isn't in the Pantheon... but maybe it could be?

[up][up]Shinobi has Cramorant as god of Shamu Fu listed as a profile he is working on. That is why I am just sticking to having Unhygenix as god of food poisoning.

@RJ-19-CLOVIS-93 I think you should use a different image. The collage images are good and useful sometimes, especially when someone is having trouble deciding what image, among dozens, to choose from. The problem? Some images aren’t that good, or interesting to see. It doesn’t help that some of actual nice ones have their quality lessened because of the small image and cramped space made because of how the collage images are made. Also you can barely even see the horse body on less than half of them.

Some content for Chiron. Chiron was found and raised by his nephew Apollo, so with that important bit of lore you may need to rewrite a bit on the paragraph involving his family. As for additional content, Scáthach, Hamato Splinter, Batman and Professor X/Charles Xavier are also known for having trained and taught some legendary heroes. In Dungeons & Dragons, the Olympians have a rivalry with the Celtic Panthon, so Chiron and Scáthach can form a rivalry between each other. Charles Xavier could potentially try to befriend Chiron with their mutual love of taking care of their students, and wanting their futures to be a bright one. With that Charles can try to from an alliance, or at least form a friendly bond between the Olympians (maybe even the Centaurs) and the Mutants of Krakoa. Honestly Charles might genuinely need that friendly connection, since Magnito decided to call all of Mutant Kind the New Gods of Earth and Greek Gods historically don't take kindly to those. Maybe be friends with Logan Howlett/Wolverine too. He took up Charles's seat when he was out of commission, and as an added bonus, he's drinking buddies with Hercules.

For Hestia, maybe rewrite a bit on the Pantheonic Wars, they have just been reworked. There’s plenty of reason for a Benevolent God to be against SMT YHVH. Also I don’t see either he or Melkor honestly having any respect for her at all.

[up] Agree in regards to the images, at least in regards to the Chiron thingnote . If he is the god of centaurs, where are his horse parts?
