This should suit the commander (It's the "No Image" from CNCwiki). Furthermore, why is he in the War area instead of Leadership? His iconic trait is his mastery of strategy and tactics.

I know that Katniss is the deity of Deadly Game contestants, but could we add Zero as the god of Deadly Game creators? I've made up a very basic profile.

Zero Akane Kurashiki, "Kanny"

  • Theme Song: Morphogenetic Sorrow
  • Rank: Demigod.
  • Symbol: A bloody red 9.
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Portfolio: Creation of Elaborate Arenas, Murder by Proxy, Fate, Love-Interest Traitors, Travel Through Alternate Universes
  • Domains: Deception, Ambiguous Motivations, Cruelty, Pragmatism, Planning, Hidden Identities, Survival, Those Who Do What Must Be Done, Telepathy, Those Who Were Once Innocent, Those Who Become What Threatened Them
  • Followers: From other series: President Snow. From his/her own: Aoi Kurashiki, Junpei Tenmyouji, Sigma, Luna, Kyle Klim
  • Enemies: Katniss Everdeen, most Good-aligned characters
  • Spends very little time in the House, and is always clad in a chemsuit and voice-altering gas mask.

At what point was Annabeth added as Goddess of Strategy? Don't we already have Light in that position (or rather, Improbable Strategy) over in the House of Mentalism?

Annabeth's main title is The Strategist, while Light Yagami's one is Gambit Roulette.

Annabeth is the Goddess of Strategy because she focuses more on her strategic warfare skills. While Light is the God of Improbable Strategy because he likes to play mind games with his foes, that's why he's in Mentalism.

Tank Girl might be better, since her name makes it self-explanatory, while if someone is unacquainted with the fandom the Bolos are in (I certainly don't know who you're talking about), it might make them glance over the entry without any real interest.

Why is there another God of Super Soldiers? We already got Master Chief, who added this Warhead character?

I added Warhead, but since I re-checked that Master Chief already had the title, I had to add a new flavor to him. Now Master Chief is the God of Armored Soldiers, since he's a soldier inside a powered armor, while Warhead is a literal Super Soldier.

To avoid a senseless rivalry, I put them as allies.

I think due to his solid steel balls, crazy badassness, and the TINY MINISKIRTS!, Lt. Col. Roy Mustang, the Flame Alchemist, should be made the God of Badass Colonels and Good-Looking Privates.

Hmm... what are the grounds for contesting that title? Because Mustang seems equally as badass IMO, and he isn't, well, a sociopath. He's a fantastic snarker, he's frightening in combat, he's got just as big a rep as Curtiss (if not bigger), he genuinely cares for his men... and, I mean, he's already the image-holder for the Colonel Badass entry.

So, yeah... how does one contest a character's godhood?

A suggestion for what that entry would look like:

Roy Mustang, God of Colonels (The Flame Alchemist)

  • Theme song: "Again" by YUI
  • Rank: Lesser God
  • Symbol: A transmutation circle with a flame symbol at the top and a lizard icon at the bottom.
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Badass Colonels, Playing with Fire, alchemy, post-war trauma, inspiring his men, being desired by the ladies, magnificent bastardry, Good-Looking Privates
  • Domains: Fire, Alchemy, War
  • Followers: Jim Rhodes, Hans Landa, Sergei Smirnov
  • Allies: Nick Fury, Edward Elric, Alex Louis Armstrong, Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryusai, Jean Valjean
  • Enemies: Lust, Father
  • High Priestess: Riza Hawkeye
  • He snarks near-constantly, even when he’s been blinded, but that isn’t fooling anyone; his raw power when he does get into a fight can be absolutely terrifying, especially when he’s good and pissed – his reputation in the GUAG Combat Division is hard-earned and well-deserved.
  • One of the Pantheon’s must trusted field commanders and strategists. Although his sarcasm and his aloof demeanor make some soldiers hesitant to approach him, those who are closest to him – especially Hawkeye – are well aware of his knack for bringing out the best in the troops under his command.
  • This seat had previously been held by Jade Curtiss, the Necromancer, who willingly handed the position to Mustang. Curtiss now sits in the House of Knowledge as the God of Creating Combat Clones. The two are on good terms.
  • After that business with Father and the Homunculi, Roy’s particularly wary of anything that smells like a scheme. He keeps close tabs on Thrawn, and he sure as hell keeps his eyes on Kimball Kinnison.
  • Mustang’s determination to right the wrongs he committed in Ishval, even knowing full well that doing so would see him imprisoned for war crimes, has earned him a great deal of respect from some of the other gods; even Martin Walker and the Tenth Doctor agree that Mustang has long since atoned for his sins, but there’s no telling him that.
  • True to his word, on the day he took his seat on the Pantheon, the order was passed down: all goddesses and female officers are henceforth required to wear... TINY MINISKIRTS!

Just be sure that you're not making this out of concern that you think it's more popular. As in Fan Myopia (FMA gets a lot of that). Besides... I think Jade has made a rapport with that necromantic dude in Shaman King (Faust I think), so that'll have to be considered, if Mustang would replace him. Also I wouldn't say that Jade should be his follower, let's just say Jade is stepping down, snarkily handing the position to the younger Mustang to drive that youngster crazy (part of his 'dedication' after all). Of course I'd say Mustang would NOT be driven crazy.

Still my main concern is so that it doesn't look like "FMA is more popular than TOTA so Mustang deserves to be in it!". Otherwise, I have no problem. If you're also feeling generous (plus I think you do know TOTA), you may also suggest new position for Jade.

And besides, if Jade was to be replaced... I think Mustang needs to also CONTEST with another candidate, which is probably more well known... Colonel Nick Fury. Pretty sure he's also a goddamn well known colonels (also epitomizing Badass Normal and having links with Samuel L Jackson)

Well, Curtiss had a couple instances of experimenting on himself; is the seat of Professor Guinea Pig available?

And with regards to Nick Fury, he probably gets the highest claim to being the God of Badass Normals, for sure (though he's actually a Badass Abnormal by virtue of not aging). He also gets all sorts of awesome credit for the Samuel L Jackson factor as well. But the salient bit is that he's not known for his military rank and experience. He's a legendary secret agent who became a spymaster, and yes, he does hold the rank of Colonel, but although he is, without question, the spy to end all spies, unlike Mustang or Curtiss, Fury doesn't present the same image of the career military man.

Badass Normal is a seat by Zaraki Kenpachi as of now (although with recent development that he's learning the name of his Zanpakutou... he might get a dent in his position). And I'm not sure if Jade experimenting himself is his highest or most well known point. Let's see you expand that further

What about the cloning aspect? Didn't his abilities work through creating replicas/clones through fomicry? Perhaps that could merit a spot in the Magic or Technology houses. He developed the science as a kid and applies it in combat. His aloof and disconnected personality, plus his penchant for self-experimentation, feed into this. I've checked the Magic, technology, combat, Otherness, and Shape houses - there's no God of Cloning, let alone Combat Cloning.

ChrisX Since: Jan, 2001

Well there ARE Clone Gods, AKA Rau Le Creuset and K'. But you do have a point that they're Gods for created clones, not one to create clones. If you can find a trope about those who create clones... sure.

And if you can find one, it'd be perfect for Jade to set up a 'rivalry' with Rau, because Rau hated humans because he's being cloned... and Jade has the same voice as his most hated Mwu La Fraga.

Edited by ChrisX
br987936 Since: Apr, 2013

Well... he's arguably developed a science that allows him to fight by repeatedly opening several cans of expendable clones. He's like a pseudo-Minion Master by way of making duplicates of people. I mean, a guy who's bitter about the whole cloning business may not take too kindly to a guy who uses replicas like ammunition.

On the whole, my goal isn't to oust Curtiss; it's to have the title given to Mustang, who seems to fit the Colonel Badass trope to the greatest extents in the most number of ways. His badassery, sure, but also his dedication to his country and to the military, and being A Father to His Men - Fury or Curtiss are no less badass, but Curtiss is a scientist and Fury's a spy; Roy Mustang just comes across as more of the soldier than they do.

ChrisX Since: Jan, 2001

Opening a Can of Clones seems... FITTING enough for Jade. I suggest Knowledge House for his relocation. Once that's done, go ahead and put Roy here. You've made solid arguments why Roy should be there, and your preview's awesome (still wish you'd put something about his TINY MINISKIRT obsession in flavor text, not just portfolio. I think the portfolio shouldn't be just 'tiny miniskirt', Roy doesn't wear that, noooo. He wants girls under his command to wear such. Therefore, I think the fitting Portfolio would be 'Fetish on girls in TINY MINISKIRTS'). Oh and take note on who used to deal with Jade in his days as the God of Colonels (I think Axel Almer was one of such), and readjust with Roy being the one in charge now.

  • Symbol: Fireflies, Fruit Drops
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Domain: War, Hunger, Family, Innocence, Suffering
  • Followers: Anyone whose life was torn apart by combat.
  • Allies: People who protect civilians.
  • Enemies: People who would refuse to help others during a time of war.
  • Among the only gods who may take whatever they want whenever they want from the food pantheon with no questions asked. The food gods tend to look the other way.
  • Followers are expected to help out civilians on all sides of a conflict.
  • Not exactly the cheeriest duo in the pantheon.

Good point, but I believe that Courage, as used in his case, is rather "courage in the face of all odds in battle", i.e. Determinator. He's know explicitly as the God of Courage because courage (a la Hot Blood was a pretty major theme in his home universe, Gao Gai Gar.

  • Portfolio: Professional Wrestling, Superheroes, America, Hulking Up
  • Domains: Strength, Good, Competition, Scalykind (specifically, 24-inch pythons)
  • Prophecy states that one day, the four Wrestling Gods (Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and Edge) will meet for an apocalyptic battle inside a very literal Hell In A Cell. This will be broadcast on Pay-Per-View for $49.95, and will be the very last thing ever televised.
    • Bret Hart was in a match to ascend to Wrestling God status,But was taken out after he refused to job because the match was taking place in his home universe despite the fact that he was leaving the pantheon the next day
  • Hulk Hogan also has a darker aspect, known as Hollywood Hogan, whose details are as follows:

Solid Snake, God of Stealth

Motoko Kusanagi, Goddess of Female Asskicking (The Major)

River Tam, Goddess of Petite Warriors

James Howlett, God of Berserker Rage (Wolverine, Best There Is At What He Does, Wolvie, Logan)

Brigadier Sir Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, God of Heroic Militaries

Khorne, God of Killing (Blood God, Lord of Skulls)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: The number 8, his stylised Skull Rune (occasionally bleeding from the eyes and/or surrounded by more skulls)
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Letting The Gods Sort Them Out, Apocalypse How, Blood Sport, Kill All Humans, Eldritch Abominations
  • Domains: Hate, Rage, Blood, War and Killing
  • Allies: Omega
  • Enemies: Pretty much everybody, especially dieties of love.
  • Doesn't care when, where, why, and how. All Khorne cares about is whether the rest of the pantheon has met the minimum number of mortals killed, and he enforces that rule with sheer brute force... as well as his army of bloodthirsty, berserk Space Marines armed with chainsaws of almost every kind. Saw great potential in Omega and promoted him to god of Robotic Psychopaths.

Ragu Ragula, Baal, and Gabriel Celeste, Triumvirate Power of Bonus Bosses

Absolute Virtue, Deity of Near-Literally Unbeatable Bosses

  • Overdeity (May actually be more powerful than the Dark God Promathia)
  • Symbol: Pure white exploding baby dragons
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil (Or Good, none truly know)
  • Portfolio: Nintendo Hard, Things that can't be killed, Victim of exploits, Giving players nightmares over it's existence
  • Domains: Other Dimensions, True Power, Eternity
  • Followers: Solo-Rogue, Brock
  • It lies in wait, punishing rewarding adventurers who have proven themselves with It's presence. Only recently has It's incarnations in the mortal realm been weakened, and even then most cannot defeat It, especially after a liberal application of Zerg-B-Gone (Too bad Bubs charges a few million per bottle). Has a capable foe in Zaraki Kenpachi, despite always claiming victory, due to the man's sheer determination. If only a mortal could provide such strength...
  • Fears Mr. Rogers.
  • The closest any mortal has ever gotten were the brave FFXI players who fought the Pandemonium Warden for eighteen hours straight. Absolute Virtue allowed them to face It as a reward for their tenacity, and they were never heard from again.
    • Speaking of, It also takes some time out to slap around PW for even thinking of copying The Great Sweatered One.

Dalek Sec, God of War Pest Control

Red Mage, God of Munchkins

Lu Bu, The Nigh Invulnerable

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: Red Hare, his horse
  • Alignment: depending on interpretation, Chaotic Neutral or Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Legendary Badassitude, Berserkers, Hellish Horses
  • Domains: Chaos, Fury, War
  • Followers: Nobody. Lu Bu works alone.
  • If you see him coming...RUN. We cannot stress this enough.
  • Attempted to apply for God of Unstoppable Theme Song using his 'Theme of Lu Bu'. But was interrupted by Trombe! and his Expy Elzam von Branstein took the place.
  • Is glad that his cross-history rival Tadakatsu made it to the Pantheon, but couldn't understand why he's a robot now.

Lelouch vi Britannia, God of Rebellion (Lelouch Lamperouge, Zero)

  • Lesser God Possibly an Intermediate God
  • Symbol: The Geass symbol (a stylized "V")
  • Alignment: Impossible to pinpoint.
  • Portfolio: Sister Complexes, Martyr Complexes, Magnificent Bastards, Manipulative Bastard, Chessmasters, Evil Eyes, Mind Control, Planning for every outcome (even ones he couldn't have known of, without his memory), Resistance Leaders, Large Hams, Affably Evil, Byronic Hero.
  • Domains: City, Corruption, Knowledge, Pain, Retribution, Trickery
  • Followers: The Order Of Black Knights. ...Kinda. Kallen Kouzuki, daughter of Domon Kasshu, depending on how badly he's teased her, recently. UFN Chairwoman Kaguya, ruler of half the known world. Probably the reason why his public appearances are heralded by busty Japanese and Chinese girls throwing black rose petals in his path. His little sister, Nunnally, ruler of the OTHER half of the known world. Well, since his ascension, at least.
  • When not plotting ways to overthrow evil empires, Lelouch engages in the game of kings: chess. Few people who have played him have asked for a rematch. He is one of the few who could challenge Light Yagami-one of his greatest nemeses-without using any form of magic.
  • As of this day, Lelouch is taking care of the rebellion of HIS OWN PEOPLE against him. Some say his mortal brother Schneizel is behind this, but Lelouch already suspects Light to be behind Schneizel. Turns out it's Aizen and Palpatine.
  • He sees Isara Gunther as someone he'd like to protect, as she reminds him of his mortal sister Nunnally Lamperouge. However, Isara is very much abhorred with him. Upon investigation, Lelouch found out that when she was mortal, she was killed in cold blood by someone who acted and sounded like him: Emperor Maxmillian. This hardens Lelouch's ambition to topple him, alongside the God he worshipped: Palpatine.
  • There are cults dedicated to an older god who held this post, whose name has been lost, but whose epithets "The Prince of Revolution" and "The Steel General" remain; there are prophecies that he will return to reclaim on his eight-legged horse of steel and diamond one day, to reclaim his position. Only fitting, considering the nature of the position.
  • May or may not have implanted commands into the minds of the Gods - or their followers - that he doesn't get along with. And maybe some that he pretends to get along with.
  • Actually every bit as dangerous without his mind control powers as with. May or may not secretly be a Kamen Rider knockoff, or have the power to summon Giant Mecha with his eyes. Or both.
  • Likes wearing masks. As in, literally. And capes.

Optimus Prime, God of Mecha

  • Demigod
  • Symbol: Autobot crest
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Transformation, Resurrection, Teamwork, Indefatigability
  • Domain: Robotic warfare, Giant transforming robots, freedom, disguise, Foe Tossing Charges.
  • Followers: Varies by incarnation, but includes Peter Cullen & this guy (see #2).
  • "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" (Optimus 1:1). Seeks universal unity ("Till all are one" (Optimus 3:31)
  • Not very happy about being in the House of War, but he won't disobey an order from Primus, and will never hesitate to fight against tyranny. Has been killed multiple times, but is so guaranteed to get better that he simply hangs out at a bar instead of waiting in the Afterlife.

Molly Hayes, Young Goddess of Adorable Power (Bruiser, Princess Powerful)

  • Lesser Goddess (with the physical strength of a Demigoddess)
  • Symbol: A cute animal themed hat, of any choice.
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Competence Zone, Tykebombs, Killer Rabbits, Little Miss Badasses
  • Domain: Strength, Destruction, Fury
  • Followers: Roll (Mega Man), The Powerpuff Girls, Fang (Dave The Barbarian), Yachiru Kusajishi (Bleach), Hit-Girl (Kick-Ass)
  • Allies: Toph
  • Warning: Dangerous to make comments about her age (in a negative), her status as only a 'Lesser Goddess', or anything like 'Aww, its so cute, she thinks she can beat us'. Underestimating her is generally bad. Easily beats up Wolverine, for one.

Signum, Goddess of Graceful Battle

  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Her sword Levantine. On FIRE.
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Graceful Battle, Flaming Sword, The Archer, Worthy Opponent, Kuudere, Stoicness
  • Domain: War, Battle, Magic.
  • Allies: Fate Testarossa, Lamia Loveless
  • She would like to remind her followers that the only thing she's going to preach is on how to get close to the enemies and beat the crap out of them. With grace.
  • Her previous priest was Lamia Loveless until her rampant similarities with Signum proved to be too strong and she helped her being deified.
  • Haven't appeared before her followers in months. She is believed to be currently regenerating in a hidden-away dimension after getting thoroughly trashed by a newcomer agent of the GUAE, Cypha of Huckebein.

Conan, God Of Barbarians

Imperial Missile Boat, King Hell God Emperor Starfighter of Death

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: Imperial Insignia
  • Alignment: Galactic Empire/Grand Admiral Thrawn
  • Portfolio: GameBreaker
  • Domains: Right behind a Rebel starfighter ensnared in its tractor beam. Or a renegade Imperial starfighter. Or any starfighter. Or anything else that's airborne for more than ten seconds
  • ...just...the King Hell God Emperor Starfighter of Death. Everyone agrees on this.
  • While the Death Star and Unicron are locked in their endless battle in the skies above the Pantheon's garden, the Imperial Missile Boat circles them, engines roaring, ensuring that no one disturbs them or, indeed, gets too close. Leaves only at the order of Thrawn and for those occasional mandatory tune-ups and refueling. When the Death Star and Unicron part, the Imperial Missile boat has spare time on its landing struts. Mostly, it spends that time carefully hiding who or what, if anything, sits in its cockpit.

  • Alignment: Lawful Evil, sometimes leaning Neutral to the rest of the Pantheon. To those who serve under him, he seems Lawful Good. No one really knows.
  • Portfolio: Magnificent bastardry, strategy and tactics, art, an odd alien name, those whose plans may lead to greater good, Practicality, Flexible Plans
  • Domains: Law, Evil, Nobility, War
  • Followers: the Silverberg family and Lucretia Merces (Suikoden), Zhuge Liang (Romance Of The Three Kingdoms), Narsus (Arslan Senki), Darth Revan (according to Kreia)
  • Will kick your ass while admiring how you must have held your paintbrush during your magnum opus. He's a surprisingly good shot with a blaster, and his men are all fantastically loyal. Of late he has began to command the 501st Legion to very good effect.
  • Commands the Imperial Missile Boat, but has so far only had to call it down to take out an enemy once.
  • Currently dead. Or is he? Yeah, he is. Had a few clones set up, and now waits for the right time. Being dead and in the Pantheon isn't as big a deal as being dead in the rest of the galaxy.
  • There was a time when Grand Admiral Thrawn and Lord Haverlock Vetinari had never been seen at the same time. It passed.
  • In a House filled with hot-blooded maniacal melee fighters and epic One-Man Army-on-One-Man Army fights, he's very out of place. But real War, the kind with armies and fleets and a command structure and supply lines and prisoners, requires strategy, and no one does it better than Thrawn. It's rumored that his inclusion is a sop to realistic war, so that its proponents don't have this House relabeled "The House of Fighting".

The Silencer, God of Living Weapons of Mass Destruction (The Captain, Red, Tin Man)

CATS, God of Conquest

Retsu Unohana, Goddess of Healers (Captain Mom)

  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: A giant Manta Ray (Minazuki)
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Healing, Leader of Staff Chicks, Mama Bear, Doesn't look like it, but REALLY REALLY SCARY when mad.
  • Domains: Army, Healing, Protection, Care.
  • Lesbian life partner Lieutenant: Isane Kotetsu (Bleach)
  • Follower: Shamal (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha)
  • It is said that merely forgetting to mention her name in briefings brings terror to the Pantheons.
  • If anyone ever try to bully her followers, she will gladly stare at them, which is enough to make the bullies run away pissing on their pants. It even works on Kratos of all people.
  • Some rumors have circulated suggesting that she is somehow fond of Kenpachi Zaraki. Most of the gods also notice how she hangs around with her lieutenant all the time. These two hypotheses each have a goodly number of adherents, mostly depending on which one they believe is hotter (And some believe that both at the same would be hotter than either alone).
    • This rumor once got to the hands of Aya Shameimaru and got posted into the headline of Bunbunmaru Newspaper...
  • She also would like to apologize deeply for the fans of Steve Irwin, as a stingray, somewhat similar to the form of her zanpakutou, caused his death and she couldn't save him.
  • Refuses to return to the City Of Heroes after an unknown, but presumably unpleasant incident.
  • At first, she was handled with the trust to find a cure for Arakune. Unfortunately, her house was raided by both Terumi and Relius Clover and her research stolen. Unohana took responsibility of that and decided to make both of them pay.

Caerula Sanguis, Watcher of the Human Condition (Quing-long Wei-ji, Vilma Fachiri)

  • Demigod
  • Symbol: Her twin blue swords, Earthlight and Moonlight
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral (formerly Neutral Evil)
  • Portfolio: Protecting Heroes, Elegant Violence, Staying 100 Steps Ahead, Offbeat Vampirism, Making Difficult Choices
  • Domain: Law, Mentalism, War
  • Takes it upon herself to watch over humankind and attempts to safeguard its future via the quantum future generator, Melchizedek. If ever she finds humanity falling into base nihilism and debauchery, she will issue the Last Order, which will destroy Melchizedek and thus leave humanity's future up to chance.
  • Her temple is an orphanage for abandoned children and their caretakers. Though she rarely shows it, she is quite fond of kids, though barren herself.
  • Thanks to her special ability to sense neural pulse flow, her centuries of combat experience, and the interaction between the two, she has not yet lost a duel, and she has had several (mostly against Kenpachi Zaraki, but he fights everyone all the time, so...). Among the most technical fighters in the Pantheons, and probably the second-best straight-on duelist behind Mr. Rogers (who she wouldn't fight anyway). While she enjoys a good fight, she usually leaves it up to others to challenge her.
  • Profoundly respects Mr. Rogers (on account of him being an inspiration to children) and Batman (on account of his methodical tactics and passion for justice).
  • Finds Naoki's disposition to be similar to her own, and so watches him closely, hoping that he will be a catalyst to lead humanity into a golden age.

Master Asia, God of Kickass Old People (Touhoufuhai, The Undefeated Of The East)

Dural, Goddess of Ditto Fighters

  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: The J6 logo
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Liquid Metal, Ditto Fighters, Clones, SNK Bosses
  • Domains: Hunt, Metal
  • Followers: Shang Tsung (Mortal Kombat), Mokujin (Tekken), Kakashi Hatake (Naruto), Ditto (Pokemon)
  • Dural was created from liquid steel, so she is incredibly hard to knock down, even for a goddess. She is capable of emulating any move set from anyone on the War Thrones, save Bruce Lee. He already has enough imitators.

The 501st, Legion of The Gods and Gods of Mooks (Vader's Fist, the Five Hundred And First)

  • Demigod Squadron
  • Symbol: This crest.
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Portfolio: Disposable Militaries, Less Than Stellar Accuracy, Strength In Numbers, Guys that Provoke Minimal Empathy
  • Domains: War, Order
  • After seeing the House of Defense resembling a pigsty for the 37th time in a month, Captain America sought a restructuring of the House. Several failed attempts later, Cap decided to seek an already formed and properly unified military force to occupy the mostly-empty House. Darth Vader, seeing a chance for advancement, offered his squadron. From there, the 501st became stationed in most areas of the Pantheon (Although only this House and the gates to the Disgraces have more than a Five-Man Band regularly stationed).
  • While Lord Vader possesses their utmost loyalty, they do defer to Master Dream, Mistress Haruhi, and the Captain himself, if only so their Lordship will never be among The Fallen or Disgraced (the Captain is a favorite, as he hates it when they die and doesn't really punish them outside of non-violent reprimands). Lately, they started training under the Taskmaster and taking orders from Grand Admiral Thrawn, and they've actually started doing very well.
  • Is always dispatched first to any altercations that disrupt the peace, as well as performing the majority of arrests in small cases. They aren't always successful with stronger gods, however. Their armor makes them essentially Immune to Bullets, but who in the Pantheon uses a gun?
  • Half of them are the most elite of stormtroopers, picked from across the Empire. The other half started off as cosplayers with really, really good costumes.
  • Not to be confused with that other 501st.

Taskmaster, God of Combat Training (Tasky, Tony Masters, 'Captain America', Barney Toastmaster, Suck MASTER, King Of Suck (he really wishes people would forget those last two or three))

  • Quasideity, but his mortal followers are really enthusiastic.
  • Alignment: True Neutral, often with Evil leanings. But he's got a soft spot for cats and usually avoids killing.
  • Symbol: His skull mask
  • Portfolio: Training, Training, and More Training, An Ever-Obscured Face, Easily-Mastered Skills, Weaponry, The Voice of Steven Blum
  • Domains: Discipline, Illusion
  • When the 501st joined the House of Defense, Cap decided to train them - they had the unity and discipline down, but he didn't like them dying. After a month or two, he realized that his schedule was ridiculously busy, and he'd like to have enough time to start sleeping or maybe make up with Tony Stark. He needed the best. He called for the Taskmaster.
  • Tasky's physically no faster or sronger than a good Olympic athlete, even as a god, but he has "photographic reflexes". He can watch another humanoids physical movements and duplicate them without practice, no matter how complex. Combined with photographic memory, the tech-assisted ability to duplicate voices, a hologram emitter, and a little thing stolen from the MIB that can spontaneously create simple shapes out of solid energy, he is a true master of hand-to-hand combat, and melee fighting as well.
  • He is also able to impersonate many of the gods with a high degree of success; he has acted in Cap's stead on a few occasions. He is supposed to be accounted for at all times, but there's not much worry when he disappears - Deadpool will bring him back sooner or later.
  • Though he could have stuck with thieving or being a standard supervillain, Tasky took up training Mooks. Able to show them every fighting style he's ever seen, he is very successful.

Dan Hibiki, Wannabe God of Badasses

  • Quasideity
  • Symbol: His trademark pink gi
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Arrogant Kung Fu Guys, Joke Characters (Who Can Be Deadly In The Right Hands), Taunting, Shotoclones, The Color Pink
  • Domain: War, Competition, Glory
  • Allies: Hakufu, Cirno
  • Despite being the quintessential Joke Character, Dan Hibiki is not the butt monkey of the gods, even though people drew much amusement from seeing him challenge Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris and Jackie Chan by himself and losing repeatedly. He's still convinced himself that he's the best around, and nothing's gonna ever keep him down...except Hakufu's "powerful one-two punch".

Lina Inverse, Goddess of Beast Slayers (Bandit Killer, Dragon Spooker, Enemy To All Who Live)

  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: A sack filled with precious jewels
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Multidisciplinary Magic (Combined With Swordsmanship), Highly Explosive Magic, Heroic Sociopaths, Thievery, Shorttanks, Flat-Chested Heroines, The Voice of Megumi Hayashibara, Destructive Saviours
  • Domains: Magic, Destruction, Greed (definitely not Dragon)
  • Allies: Dante, Nanoha (Destruction aspect)
  • Opposed by: Dragon!Ryu
  • While Dante spends most of his time battling demons and the undead, Lina prefers to focus her magical rage on living creatures and relieve them of their valuables. She gains immense attack bonuses against dragons and Money Spiders.
  • Is currently hatching a plan to get her "precious" thing back from Marisa of the Magic House, and has consulted with Carmen Sandiego and Robin Hood to do it without killing her (she also plans on picking up some of Marisa's spell cards to add to her arsenal).
  • Call her the latter two nicknames at your own risk.
  • Despite her status as an Intermediate Goddess, she is capable of taking down almost any deity in the Pantheon by using her unique ability to draw on the power of the Lord of Nightmares. However, she is extremely reluctant to actually do so.

Gauron, God of Psychotic Mercenaries

Yui Ikari, Goddess of Empathic Weapons (Evangelion Unit-01, Oni System, Yui-sama)

Axel Almer, God of Determined Warriors (Ahoseru, Sleeping Prince)

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The head of Soulgain (focus on the moustache)
  • Alignment: True Neutral. Formerly Lawful Neutral.
  • Portfolio: Never Giving Up, Not A Fucking Bastard (But still a bastard), Big Damn Heroism, Death Cheating, Conversion From Villain To Hero, Past Amnesia Problems, Red Head
  • Domains: War, Survival, Dedication
  • Allies: Kratos, Guts, Lamia Loveless, Zaraki Kenpachi, Jade Curtiss, Naruto Uzumaki, Robin.
  • Followers: Pegasus Seiya (Saint Seiya), Akihiko Sanada (Persona 3), Einst Alfimi
  • Once he sets his sight on something... practically nothing can stop him. Damages? He regenerates at the face of them.
  • Was about to be titled 'God of Warmongers With Cockroach Tenacities', but since he no longer actively seeks war, his title is degraded. His record, however, remains, causing him to be constantly contacted by Jade Curtiss to help him on war.
  • Likes to spend good times chatting with Zaraki Kenpachi, or fighting each other (Kenpachi likes the idea fighting someone far bigger than his size and regenerates practically endlessly), while letting their Perky Female Minions play around.
  • At one point, he's struck with amnesia, acts silly and starts wooing the girls in the Love Pantheon. He fails horribly, until he's knocked on the head and regains his memories.
  • Has constantly told his follower Seiya that there are limits of being a Determinator, taking it too much can make a dislikable character. Unfortunately for him, Seiya also never gives up in being so stubborn, making things harder for him, but he never gives up in telling him. He does find Seiya's tenacity... useful at times.
  • Has started to take an almost fatherly liking towards Naruto and has even considered training him. The Pantheon is split as to whether this would be a good or bad idea.

Rosette Christopher, Goddess of Religious Militia

Strong Mad, God of Dumb Muscle

Jade Curtiss, God of Colonels (Jade Balfour, Jade the Necromancer)

Captain Falcon, God Of Very Powerful Punches

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: A golden falcon
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Calling Attacks, Badasses, Overly Powerful Attacks, Being A Meme
  • Domains: Chaos, Destruction
  • Followers: Lugnut (Transformers Animated), Takeda Shingen {Sengoku Basara), Linkara (Atop The Fourth Wall), Naru Narusegawa (Love Hina), Bowser
  • He can also kick, but considers that more of a hobby.
  • Should Kamina or Guy become derailed in their efforts to re-start the universe, he will probably attempt to get things going with a PAWNCH.
  • Is frequently sought out by members of the Love house as an...alternate method of contraception.
  • Recently fans of Jecht have called for him to take Captain Falcon's title and began calling him "Captain Jecht" in preparation his victory should he challenge Falcon. Currently the two are searching for a plane of reality stable enough to contain the force of their clash without endangering others.

Yuri Volte Hyuga, Godslayer (Rude Hero)

Selvaria Bles, Goddess of Dark Action Girls

Alpharius, God of Cheap Bastards

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: Green hydra on purple background
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Xanatos Gambit, We Are Everywhere, Crazy-Prepared, False Flag Operation, Combat Pragmatist
  • Domains: Chaos, Planning, War
  • Allies: Thrawn, Solid Snake, Red Mage
  • Enemies: Everyone. Including his allies.
  • Followers: All examples of Combat Pragmatist.
  • Representing a notion related to Red Mage and Thrawn but distinct from both, Alpharius is the consummately professional cheap bastard. To him and his followers, combat is itself only a brief phase of combat-by the time the guns start shooting, the battle is already won. Alpharius will, as a matter of course, use every dirty trick in the book (which he wrote), no matter how underhanded, and cares nothing for being called out on it. If you even realize he's the one responsible.
  • Essentially, he represents the Combat Pragmatist taken to a strategic level, tipping the odds in his favor by any and every means necessary and expending little to no actual effort during the shooting phase of his operations.

Thorkell the Tall, God of Vikings! People Who Love To Fight! Giant Raiders! and Feats of Improbable Bad Assery!

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: An Axe and a Giant Log
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral with some Evil tendencies
  • Domains: Pillaging, Plundering, Pirating
  • Allies: Nobody! He likes a challenge!
  • Enemies: Everyone! But especially Zaraki Kenpachi and Light Yagami. Kenpachi, because of how alike they are giving him a decent challenge, and Light because he cannot stomach a coward who kills with 'sorcery' rather then with his own two hands.
  • Followers: Every Viking ever, and everyone who ever wanted to be a Viking
  • What do you get when you cross a Pirate with a Blood Knight? A Viking! And there could be no better representative for this boisterous bunch then Thorkell the Tall! All his battle loving, loot loving, rape loving, historical nautical bandit brothers of days gone by finally have a man in the pantheon, and he plans to have some fun! All comers are welcome to challenge him in any competition they choose!

The Black Knight, God of Amusing Injuries (Armless Bastard)

Kazuma, God of Power Despite Pain (The Shell Bullet, Kazuya, NP3228)

Millennium, Gods of War Mongering (The Letztes Bataillon)

  • Role Call: The Major, The Doctor, The Captain, First Lieutenant Rip van Winkle, First Lieutenant Zorin Blitz, Warrant Officer Schrodinger and Tubalcain Alhambra.
  • Intermediate Gods
  • Symbol: A swastika and the number 1000 splattered with blood
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Those Wacky Nazis, The Remnant, Stupid Jetpack Hitler, For the Evulz, Monster Mash.
  • Domains: Evil, War, Destruction, The Undead.
  • Followers: Vindel Mauser (Super Robot Wars)

Mega Man, God of Power Replication (The Blue Bomber, The Super Fighting Robot, Rockman)

Ashley Riot, Patron of Physical Gods (Riskbreaker, The Reinforcements, The Vagrant)

  • Lesser God.
  • Symbol: The Rood of Iocus
  • Alignment: Neutral Good. Maybe.
  • Portfolio: Physical Gods, One Man Armies, Implacable Men, Determinators, Laser-Guided Amnesia, The Unreveal, Shell Shocked Seniors, and Names to Run Away from Really Fast
  • Domains: Determination, Finding One's Self
  • One of the more tranquil beings in the house, Ashley is somewhat looked down upon by more violent gods. Ashley does not often use his new found powers, let alone to their fullest extent. However, the fact that Ashley's skill borders on Instant Expert with weapons and magic is a sufficient deterrent to most who object to his position. There is also a persistent rumor that prior to his ascension, Ashley defeated a god in battle with no tricks or outside help. And it's established fact that he cut a bloody swarth through a legion of legendary monsters before the hypothetical fight. While being Mind Screwed. The general consensus among the Pantheon is to not bother the guy who was called The Reinforcements. It can't be worth it.

Pyramid Head, God of Implacable Creatures (The Bogeyman)

Honor Harrington, Goddess of Space Navies

  • Intermediate Deity
  • Symbol: Her treecat Nimitz
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Beware the Nice Ones, Badass Bookworm
  • Domains: War, Military, Martial Arts, Leadership
  • Allies: A certain Captain by the name of Keyes
  • Followers: Everyone who's ever served under her
  • Space Is an Ocean, and she is its mistress. Good friends with Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Flandre Scarlet, Ax-Crazy Badass Adorable Extraordinaire

  • Lesser Deity (in terms of influence), Greater Deity (in terms of power)
  • Symbol: a complex crest composed of her jeweled wings and her wand superposed over a rune circle
  • Alignment: not quite clear, due to complete insanity varies from Chaotic Good/Neutral to Chaotic Evil.
  • Portfolio: Murderous insanity, cute but badass characters, concealed dirty little secrets, immense destructive powers, cheerful children, creepy children, people who are extremely old, yet don't look like it, stronger siblings, being a Japanese vampire, being more badass than your average vampire, cute and cheerful girls who are actually deadly monsters
  • Domains: Vampirism, Destruction of Everything and Anything
  • Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame are her friends and opponents at the same time.
  • Other enemies: Kyubey, Terumi Yuuki (then again, which vampire doesn't have a beef against him?)
  • Remilia Scarlet has not yet been deified, but she can't count as a mere follower either, being Flandre's older sister and pretty much the only one with influence on her. Though that influence seems to falter nowadays - Flandre has tasted freedom and will not be locked in an attic any longer.
  • It would be tempting to classify Flandre as The Mother of All Tyke Bombs, but since she was not specifically raised to fight (in fact Remilia keeps her in the basement solely in order to avoid her destroying things by accident) she averts the trope. She is however the very incarnation of Badass Adorable.
  • Being only a child, her actual influence within the Pantheon is weak, but since she's able to destroy everything and anything (world apparently included), no god will ever piss her off. EVER.
  • Since neither Remilia nor Sakuya have been deified, there's no one in the Pantheon to force Flandre to stay in her room permanently, leaving the girl free to roam around. Almost all non-Greater gods live in fear of hearing her tiny voice ask them, "Hello! Would you like to play with me?" Anyone who "played" with Flandre Scarlet and lived to tell the tale earns the respect of every god in the Pantheon, especially those of War. Most notable are, of course, Marisa and Reimu.
    • There is currently a movement among lesser Gods called the "Movement for the Deification of Sakuya Izayoi" to thwart Dio Brando from his position as god of Manipulation of the flow of Time and deify his disciple Sakuya instead. The real reason for this is to have someone in the Pantheon who knows Flandre well and is capable to restrain her, possibly even manage to confine her to her room. The members of this movement are often mockingly referred to as "Flandrophobics" by War gods.
    • The movement was a success, but Dio, along with Dracula, was one step ahead and coaxed Sakuya to join the GUAE using the yet-to-be-deified Remilia as a hostage, thus making her still restrained to them, not the Scarlet Devil Mansion residents. This makes Flandre hate those two so much.
  • However, just recently, both lesser and greater Gods found out that Gig had found her during a walk to the garden in order to inspect his hotpods and challenged her to a fight just out of boredom, the mayority of the War gods (except Kamina, Guy Shishioh, Kratos and other Hot-Blooded mecha pilots)quickly changed their minds.
    • Oh, and the fight still goes on. The left wing of the House of War was blown in smithereens.
    • Sakuya has recently been Deified as the Goddess of Throwing Knives in an attempt to reign Flandre in. Unfortunately, Sakuya's current lack of power renders her unable to stop the enormous battle at the moment...
    • However, considering that Flandre is having fun "playing" with Gig, it is unlikely that Sakuya could stop her unless she becomes a greater goddess than Flandre or can exert more influence.
  • No-one seems to have noticed that Flandre does hang out with Scarlet Devil Mansion gate guard Hong Meiling. This may be the point, Meiling being goddess of Butt Monkeys.. Hong Meiling does not seem scared of Flandre. Might she be the Chinese Girl with the leash, and no-one has noticed? Yukari Yakumo seems to know something about this, but she's not telling.

Pikmin, The Army of Strength in Numbers

  • Minor deities
  • Symbol: A small white flower
  • Alignment: True Netural on their own, but they will follow whoever plucks them.
  • Portfolio: Zerg Rushing, Expendability, Lilliputian Warriors, Often Too Dumb To Live, War for Fun and Profit.
  • Domains: Ant people, Plant Hybrids, Strength in Numbers
  • Followers: They don't have followers, but have alot of leaders.
  • Upon ascencion, they've managed to infest every household. There are now billions of them all over the place. A few enterprising Gods and Goddess managed to put them to good use and get them to do gruntwork and menial tasks. Most others are merely annoyed.
  • Being so small and having very few survival skills, the Pikmin can easily be killed by alot of things. The most common way for Pikmin to die in the houses is to be stepped on by other gods and goddess. Great care must be taken when you are around Pikmin, or you'll be forced to listen to their plaintive death cries if you accidently step on a few. Pikmin don't have graves.

Dad, God of Stupefying Insanity (DJ Breadwinner)

Tallahasee, God of Zombie Killin'

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: #3.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good.
  • Portfolio: Guns Akimbo, Crazy Awesome, Big Damn Heroes, Banjo Playing
  • Domains: Chaos, Badassitude, Killing
  • Allies: Colombus, Wichita, Little Rock
  • Followers: Always wear snakeskin jackets and cowboy hats, with flags that say "Nut Up or Shut Up" on them.
  • Upon ascension, the other deities suddenly found their supplies of Twinkies suspiciously low. When asked about them, all Tallahasee would reply was "You got a purdy mouth."
  • His true name, as well as the name of his prophet Columbus, has been lost to the ages.

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, Training Instructor From Hell

  • Demigod
  • Symbol: Several ribbons he earned as a Marine
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral (seen as Lawful Evil by those assigned to him)
  • Portfolio: Very Scary Drill Sergeants, Calling His Charges Names
  • Domains: Army, Fear
  • Followers: Good luck finding them...they're still hiding after his last drills.

Zero, God of Badass and Blonde Hair (The Crimson Hunter, The Bloody Maverick)

Rob Liefeld, God of Grim and Grittiness

Kazuya Ryuuzaki, God of Karate/Kung Fu Robo Pilots and Those Empowered By Love

Hercules, Pantheon's Strongest God (Heracles, Herc, Berserker)

  • Demigod
  • Symbol: The nemean lion skin
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Super-Strength, Greek Mythology, Boisterous Bruiser, Being Big, Amazon Magnet
  • Domains: Strength, Battle, Myth.
  • Is always assisted with a triumvirate of Sidekicks assistants/prophets consisting of Iolaus, Amadeus Cho and Ilyasviel von Einzbern.
  • Has mixed feelings regarding Kratos. Can't decide to either like or hate him for what he did to Ares.
  • His latest achievement is to give a God of Thunder a divine nurple. This gave him a bit of a nasty rumor about him doing it to Fate Testarossa, but Herc has denied it vehemently. "I don't do that to girls!"
  • Keeps his madness state in check. He may become even more powerful, but he dreads being rained with the jobber aura that comes with it.
  • Thinks that this article about him is a cool story, bro!

Katniss Everdeen, Goddess of Deadly Game Participants (Catnip, The Mockingjay)

  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Mockingjay
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Deadly Games, Action Girls, Archery, Hunting, Coal Mining, those with Dead Little Sisters
  • Domains: Nature, Chaos, Survival
  • Allies: Lelouch vi Brittania, Huang Zhong, Jack Conrad (avatar of Steve Austin)
  • Enemies: Big Brother
  • Followers: The cast of Battle Royale
  • Big Brother picked her for this position when he diversified into Reality TV. She is not happy about this, especially since her position entails her followers being forced to kill each other for entertainment. She is trying to ally with rebellious factions in order to bring him down.

Commander the Non-Entity General

  • Demi-Greater God/Goddess
  • Symbol: Variable, symbol changes daily to that of (temporarily) aligned faction
  • Alignment: Variable, alignment changes to regularly that of (temporarily) aligned faction
  • Portfolio: Armchair Military, Tactical Rock–Paper–Scissors, Command & Conquer Economy, Ridiculously Fast Construction, Easy Logistics, Construct Additional Pylons, Zerg Rush
  • Domains: Real-Time Strategy, Turn-Based Strategy
  • Allies: China against Mongols, Allies against Axis, Rebellion against Empire, NATO against Soviets, Alliance Against Horde, GDI against Nod, Humans against Aliens, Protoss Vs Zerg, Thin Crust against Deep Dish, the commander plays for all sides without discrimination.
  • Opposed by: The Computer Is a Cheating Bastard
  • The Commander continues to command countless battles across time and space. This supreme commander commands and conquers in total war often against total annihilation, from the dawn of war to beyond endwar, some say living only for the craft of war.
  • Despite skirmishing throughout the age of empires the Commander is also a force of creation having guided civilizations, and fostered the raise of nations.
  • Despite having more command experience than everyone else on this page combined, the Commander's abilities varies greatly with very little constancy. Sometimes the Commander cansuccessfully hold against more than one third of the War Pantheon while the next day losing space battleships en masse to muggle spearmen.
  • The Commander has never actually been seen anywhere in the Pantheon, but receives and accepts missions from all Houses and Factions by way of Full Motion Video Cutscenes.
  • Thankfully, as long as Plot Armor isn't involved, the Commander can hold the entire universe at bay, provided he has two trees, and a single person with ten minutes to spare. Thrawn is working on cutting it down to five minutes by sending orders via FMV, but progress is slow, and pixelated.

Cain Marko, The Nigh Unstoppable (The Juggernaut (, bitch!))

Mr. 2 , God of Dance Battlers

  • Intermediate Deity
  • Symbol: A swan
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Dance Battler, Gender Bender, Villainous and Wholesome Crossedresser,
  • Domains: Dancing, Crossdressing, Okamas
  • Allies: Monkey D. Luffy, Emporio Ivankov

Nodoka Miyazaki, Goddess of Taking A Level In Badass (Pudica Bibliothecaria, Honya)

  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Her Diarium Ejus
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Badass Bookworm, Badass Boast, Beware the Nice Ones, Crowning Moment Of Awesome, Let's Get Dangerous!, Munchkin, Min-Maxing, Plucky Girl
  • Domain: Courage, Cunning
  • Allies: Ayase Yue, Negi Springfield, Jack Rakan, Hinata Hyuuga, Evangeline AK Mc Dowell
  • She's not exactly the sort of girl you would expect to find in the Pantheon of War, her nose in a book and her eyes hidden by her hair. However she can hold her own, she knows whatever you will try next, and she has good friends to make use of that information. She's normally very non-confrontational, but heaven help you if you get on her bad side.
  • Her trifecta of items, the diary, the ring, the earpiece, are known for how easily she can muster a strategy for even the best trained fighters. Many fear what would happen if she found more items to further increase this rather effective skillset of hers.

Roberta, Goddess of Roaring Rampages of Revenge (The Bloodhound of Florencia, Rosarita Cisneros)

Zangief, God Of Spinning Pile Driver (Red Cyclone)

Ursarkar E. Creed, God of Tactical Geniuses

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: Someone angryly yealling his name
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Tactical Geniuses, Making people yell his name
  • Domains: War, Tactics
  • One day in the pantheon everyone was doing there own thing when some of them heard this weird noise, like a distant rumbling sound. Glancing around, they deduced it was coming from one the larger Gods. Most went back to what they were doing, others walked around the Pantheon trying to find out who or what was making the noise, when suddenly a hundred Baneblades roar out from nowhere, crushed the walls of the War house, and gunned down some of the 501st. • Greater God
  • Symbol: A golden meteor
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: The War on Thionite, Competence, Fellow Second-Stage Lensmen
  • Domain: War, Mentalism, Strategy, Law, Trickery, Infiltration
  • He's on good terms with most of his fellow deities, although his somewhat old-fashioned views make him awkward around female members of the House.

Faust Baldhead, God of Completely Unpredictable Combat (Dr. Baldhead)

Bruce Campbell, God of Improvisation, Good B-Movie Actors, and Chainsaws

Sub-Zero, God of Destruction Through Freezing (Kuai Liang, Tundra, Sub-Zero II, Cyber Sub-Zero)

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The Dragon Medallion
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Cyromancy, Cryonics Failure, Highly-Visible Ninja (sorry, we meant Lin Kuei), Heel–Face Turn, Defecting From A Bad Organization, Legacy Character
  • Domain: Destruction, Ice, Good.
  • Allies: Cygnus Hyouga, Jin Kisaragi
  • Enemies: Shang Tsung
  • After spending some time in the Fallen, Sub-Zero has saw through some redemption thanks to an upcoming event. He has amassed enough followers to bring him to the proper place.
  • Despite being good hearted, he couldn't help to get gory at times. Just be careful, he may splat another part of his enemy's body that is NOT being popsicled.
  • An avatar of Sub-Zero with the same name was seen due to a part of plan of Thor's ally Raiden to destroy Shao Kahn once and for all. Sub-Zero lent his power to this avatar, enabling him to be strictly more powerful, but then said avatar got turned into a cyborg... and Sub-Zero's power allowed him to make him regain his sanity and proceeded to kick all kinds of ass ranging from his brother Bi-Han/Noob Saibot, to Sektor, to Ermac, to Goro and Kintaro at the same time. Unfortunately, said avatar was destroyed by Sindel and now resided under the control of Quan Chi. This event has decreased Sub-Zero's power for awhile, but if you pray enough, both him and Ed Boon may reconsider to get that avatar safely back again

The Boss, Goddess of Pregnant Badasses (The Joy, Voyevoda)

  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Her snake-shaped scar
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Portfolio: Team Mom, Badassery in general and by pregnant women in particular, Reverse Moles , Star-Crossed Lovers, Even the Girls Want Her, The Futility and Arbitrary Nature of War
  • Allies: Solid Snake, Revolver Ocelot
  • Gained the title and earned a place in this house by becoming a mother via self-performed C-section while storming the beaches of Normandy, disqualifying all other women from complaining about the pain of childbirth when she's around, ever
  • Is absolutely delighted that, for the first time, she gets to be in close contact with her son Ocelot on a regular basis without being undercover and attacking something she loves the whole time. Ocelot is utterly horrified by how much she embarrasses him in public in front of his friends unwitting pawns, but he doesn't dare complain or maybe toss her out for the good of The Plans because he knows she would whoop his ass if he tried. That, and she knows she can break his revolvers which he really hates, so that's another reason.

Chun-Li, Goddess of Kicking (The Strongest Woman In The World)

Rei, God of Absurdly Sharp Fingers (Star of Justice)

Coop, God of Big Red Buttons

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: The Megas XLR. Barring that, a Philly Cheesesteak.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Stupid
  • Portfolio: Destructive Saviors, Heroes that make things worse, Big Red Buttons That does anything it needs to do
  • Domains: War, Destruction: Chaos
  • Allies: Kamina
  • Manages to get along well enough with other Robot Pilots, but his lack of Hot Bloodedness does irk them a bit and at worst they occasionally pick up his laziness. Kamina however gets along with him great due to Coop being something of a forefather to him.
  • The pilots also have trouble wrapping their heads around the power of Coop's Button, which has the power of resolving any situation and changes labels according to said situations.

D-Boy, God of Screaming Warrior (Takaya Aiba, Tekkaman Blade)

Vega, God of 'Beautiful' Fighting (Balrog, Claw)

Sheryl Nome, Battle Goddess of Hopes and Dreams (The Galactic Fairy)

Utena Tenjou, Goddess of Extraordinarily Empowered Swordswomen (The Revolutionary Girl)

Leon Magnus, God of Annihilators With Low Defense (Lion Magnus, Judas, Emilio Gilchrist)

Geese Howard and Rugal Bernstein, Co-Gods of Ridiculously Cheap And Powerful Bosses ([Geese] Nightmare Geese, [Rugal] God/Ultimate Rugal)

I want to suggest that CATS is taking another portfolio. His biggest contribution is only the All Your Base Are Belong to Us. Not so much of conquest but more of Meme, and the ZIGs always thwart him. Find him another portfolio.

I nominate Rider AKA Alexander/Iskandar the Great as the new God of Conquest as at least his conquest was nigh-unstoppable and only stopped when he got caught with natural death.

I dunno, can I add some trivial stuff (as in not interfering with Book of Trope in any way) to some characters?

I haven't read through the entire manga (only the first few chapters), but I've read that Demon Eyes Kyo is virtually a titan of battle.

Wouldn't he be a good candidate for the Pantheon of War?

just to mix it up a bit, theres some good real life guys that would fit in here well

General George S. Patton. god of Tank warfare.

Admiral Yi Sun-sin and Admiral Nelson- gods of naval warfare

and i dont know anynames, but if you could find a soviet general from world war 2, theyd make a good "god of we have reserves"

I'm not sure where this domain would go, or if there's already one, but perhaps we could split Kamina off as the God of Boasting? No doubt he's hot-blooded but I think it's the mighty speeches that he's most notable for.

I think he should be God of Trust/Believing or something. His other most iconic line is after all "Believe in me, who believes in you!"

True, there's that to. There any tropes besides Clap Your Hands associated with trust or belief?

Made this profile for Kamina is we go with Boasting, just to see what it'd be like.

Kamina, God of Boasting (Bro, Just Who The Hell Do You Think He Is)

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: His sunglasses over a stylized flaming skull.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Badass and many associated tropes, Manliness, Sunglasses, Giving boastful speeches, Being Awesome By Virtue Of Being Crazy, Hot Bloodedness, Dying in an epic fashion
  • Domains: Mecha, Speeches, Manliness, Trust
  • Kamina always scheduled time to give a speech to the masses at his chambers about manliness, trust and general badassery, but after the Pantheon got too crowded from the masses clamoring to hear him, he's begun holding them elsewhere.
  • When the final battle of good and evil comes, Kamina has been pre-appointed by Cosmos to give a rousing speech to get her warriors fired up and ready for the conflict. Reportedly, according to those who overhear him practicing, part of it goes "Don't believe in yourselves. Believe in the Tropers who believe in you!"
  • Kamina also proudly boasts, in addition to the usual, that he's the Trope Namer for Beyond the Impossible, and will show video footage of his battles with Simon to any who need evidence of what he was talking about.

What would you say of the ascension of Chise from Saikano(AKA The Angel of Death, The Ultimate Weapon) as a quasideity of anvilicious anti war messages, Woobie Destroyers of Worlds, and Kill 'Em All endings? Or is it already redundant?

"We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried. Most people were silent."
