Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

The Baine/Cairne thing is still on my list just to be clear.

Also anyone mind if I change the Marth/Varian thing?

Whilst there is some Depending on the Writer, Varian has occasionally done some very shady things, that Marth would in no way, ever condone.

Marth is always depicted as a kind and just ruler, whilst not a perfect person, he would never approve of a ruler promoting someone that partook in genocide and had no remorse to a high position as Varian once did.

  • Symbols: The three unity crystals (as a group), their cutie marks (on their own)
  • Theme songs: "Gonna Be My Day" (Sunny), "Glowin' Up" (Pipp), "Fit Right In" (Izzy & Hitch), "Mane Family" (Misty)
  • Alignment: All Chaotic Good, though Hitch has lawful tendencies and Misty used to be Lawful Evil
  • Portfolio: All-CGI Cartoon, Fire Forged True Companions, have a Home Base, Contrasting Sequel Main Characters, had their voice actors replaced after the Pilot Movie (except Misty), Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal (except Zipp)
  • Domains: Ponies, magic, unity, prejudice
  • Heralds: Argyle Starshine (Sunny's father), Sparky Sparkeroni and Figgy (Hitch's adopted son), Queen Haven (Zipp and Pipp's mother), Alphabittle Blossomforth (Misty's father)
  • High priest: Hiro
  • Allies: All good My Little Pony gods (especially the Mane 6 and Spike), the Pteranodon family (the parents with Hitch; Buddy with Misty)
  • Enemies: Toffee, Jack Horner, P.T. Boomer, Maiev Shadowsong, Tirek, Emperor Belos
  • It's complicated: Star Butterfly
  • During the reign of Princess Twilight Sparkle, she sealed all ponies' magic into three crystals that would only work if the three tribes were unified, either to force them to get along after tensions rose or protect it from those who wanted to steal it. This worked for a while... but eventually, many years later, the three pony tribes went their separate ways and lost their magic as a result. However... not all hope was lost. My Little Pony: A New Generation begins with an Earth pony named Argyle Starshine telling his daughter Sunny Starscout about the times when the three pony tribes co-existed in peace, and hoped to reunite them and restore magic. Unfortunately, he died off-screen, leaving Sunny to carry on his legacy. And she succeeded, with the help of her childhood friend and local sheriff Hitch Trailblazer; Izzy, a unicorn who wandered into the Earth pony town of Maretime Bay after finding a message Sunny wrote years ago; and the pegasus princesses Zipp Storm and Pipp Petals.
    • Sunny Starscout was originally a smoothie-seller in Maretime Bay with dreams of becoming an activist. After restoring magic, she became an alicorn... sort of. She's still an Earth pony most of the time, but occasionally her wings and horn come out when she needs to protect her friends. While she has no official authority, she usually takes charge when cleaning up magical catastrophes or settling disputes. Her cutie mark, a shooting star next to two smaller stars, represents her ability to help ponies put aside their differences.
    • Hitch Trailblazer is the sheriff of Maretime Bay. The return of magic gave him the ability to understand animals, and a crab and two seagulls often follow him around. Not long after magic returned, he found an abandoned egg on the beach and raised the dragon within, Sparky, as his own son. His cutie mark, a horseshoe inside a sheriff badge, represents his kindness and ability to not give in to peer pressure.
    • While most of the unicorns in Bridlewood were gloomy without magic, Izzy Moonbow has always been a ray of sunshine. When she first visited Maretime Bay, she was so eager to make a friend that she was oblivious to its residents' panic. She enjoys using arts and crafts to create all sorts of contraptions they need for their adventures. Her cutie mark, a button on top of a heart-shaped pincushion, represents her talent at unicorn upcycling, or "unicycling" for short.
    • Zipp Storm is the older princess of Zephyr Heights, the pegasus city, but you wouldn't guess she was royalty just by looking at her. Pegasi can't fly without magic, but from a young age she figured out the physics of how to glide using parkour, and earned her cutie mark — a crown on top of a lightning bolt — as a result. She likes to solve mysteries and gather clues, regardless of how necessary it is.
    • Pipp Petals is the younger princess of Zephyr Heights, and loves being in the spotlight. She's a social media star who can't live without her smartphone, and occasionally sings in concerts, whether at the royal palace or her hair salon in Maretime Bay. Her cutie mark, a crown inside of a pair of eighth notes, represents her love for performing.
    • Unfortunately, the return of magic caught the attention of Opaline Arcana, an evil alicorn who Twilight Sparkle had banished from Equestria long ago. She sent her minion Misty, a lost unicorn she'd taken in, to spy on the five and kidnap Sparky in the hopes of stealing dragon magic for herself. However, the five showed Misty genuine kindness for the first time she could remember, and she began to feel guilty for deceiving them. She earned her cutie mark, a butterfly, when she finally stood up to Opaline and became loyal to her friends.
  • Shortly after the New Mane 6 saved the auroracorns from a flying snow leopard, Izzy awoke with an urge to gather all her friends in the Marestream (their flying campervan) and fly it to a far away place that wasn't on any map. Hitch thought this was a terrible idea, but Sunny trusted Izzy's intuition, and the other mares reluctantly agreed. Their destination turned out to be the Court of the Gods in the Trope Pantheons. The gods told them that since A New Generation was the first all-CGI production in the franchise that wasn't an online short, they had been chosen to represent the Shifted to CGI trope. Since none of them knew what CGI was, the gods had to explain it to them, and blew their minds in the process. Except Izzy. She was pretty okay with learning she was a fictional character. A replica of their Home Base, the Brighthouse, became their temple.
  • All of them (especially Sunny) were ecstatic to meet the original Mane 6 (or "Guardians of Harmony") in the Pantheon. Twilight Sparkle was both intrigued and horrified to learn what became of Equestria in her absence. Zipp asks Rainbow Dash about advanced flying techniques. Hitch helps Fluttershy take care of animals from time to time, and Misty enjoys her quiet company. Pipp asks Rarity to make dresses for her, and Izzy sometimes tries to help when she's not hanging out with Pinkie Pie. Applejack is interested in the future Earth ponies' "flora magic", which allows them to make plants grow rapidly. The New Mane 6 had met Spike before, but were surprised that his Pantheon guise was much younger than they knew him. He gained memories of his future, which he tries not to worry about.
  • Naturally, they're enemies with gods who want to steal all magic for themselves (such as Jack Horner), destroy it (such as Toffee and P.T. Boomer, especially the latter considering who their high priest is), or kill magic-users (such as Maiev Shadowsong and Emperor Belos). Special mention goes to Tirek, who almost succeeded at stealing all ponies' magic, but fortunately the Guardians of Harmony defeated him. Their relationship with Star Butterfly is a bit more complicated. She succeeded in destroying all magic in her multiverse, but she did so to prevent a genocidal war... but also killed countless beings that rely on magic to survive in the process.
  • Word of Hitch raising a baby dragon travelled around the Pantheon, and it eventually reached Mr. and Mrs. Pteranodon. One evening, after they made sure their children were in safe hands, they went to visit him at the Brighthouse. The three of them talked about the struggles of raising a member of a species they didn't know much about at first, and how they'll one day have to let their children go. As he learned more about Buddy, a lightbulb went off in Hitch's head: he'd get along swimmingly with Misty! Misty had been separated from her family from a young age, and barely knew anything about unicorn culture as a result. After earning her cutie mark, she started remembering her father and eventually found him with her friends' help. While Buddy never learned who his biological parents were, he was overjoyed to meet a Tyrannosaurus family and spends a lot of time with them.
  • Exclusive to Sunny:
    • Sunny hardly spends any time in her temple. Instead, she prefers to travel around the Pantheon, helping any gods she can with their relationship problems. While visiting the Hall of Elemental Pairings, she settled an argument between Ember Lumen and Wade Ripple about how to arrange their furniture... and learned that the latter regrets never being able to repair his relationship with his father before he died. Since Sunny had also lost her father, this struck a chord, and she decided to set up a support group for gods who lost at least one parent during their childhoods. Among its members are Simba and the Plantar siblings. As for where Sunny's mother is? It's never addressed.
  • Exclusive to Hitch:
    • Hitch has a way with animals, and found himself drawn towards Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. He was interested to learn that they're also police officers who've had to deal with a lot of Fantastic Racism, both on the giving and receiving end, but try to do their best regardless. They once invited him to visit them Zootopia, and while he had trouble navigating a city built for bipeds, he enjoyed his time there... at least in Savannah Central. He couldn't handle any of the other biomes; Tundra Town was too cold for him and he kept slipping on ice, Sahara Square was too hot, and he kept accidentally standing under the sprinklers in the Rainforest District. Its inhabitants remind him of the various anthropomorphic animals that lived beyond Equestria.
  • Exclusive to Izzy:
    • While looking for inspiration for her next unicycling project, Izzy sought help from none other than Angus MacGyver himself. Together, they made a fog machine out of a blender, an electric fan, and some whipped cream while the other ponies were out of the Brighthouse. Izzy stood in the entrance room, hid herself in the fake fog, and surprised the others once they came back. Most of them were impressed, but Sunny still wants her blender back.
  • Exclusive to Zipp:
    • Zipp doesn't enjoy the attention that being royalty brings, preferring to live her own life and do whatever she wants. As it happens, so does Princess Bean. Zipp found Bean passed out drunk in front of a bar in the House of Food, and carried her on her back to a quieter place. When Bean woke up, she drunkenly rambled about her backstory — and the part about Bean's father remarrying caught Zipp's attention. Her mother, Queen Haven, started dating a unicorn named Alphabittle... who turned out to be Misty's father. Awkward. Zipp talked about her life when Bean sobered up, and they've been close friends ever since.
  • Exclusive to Pipp:
    • Pipp isn't sure what to make of Nazuna Hiwatashi. On one hoof, they're both idol singers who fly over their audiences while they're performing. On the other hoof, Nazuna deceived her audience by pretending to be a god. Sure, Pipp used to deceive her audience by using wires to pretend she could fly without magic, but that's nowhere near as drastic. Pipp has only spoken to Nazuna a couple of times, and can't decide if they'd be friends or not.
    • Pipp was delighted to learn there are other social media stars in the Pantheon. Astra also comes from a prestigious family, but his passion lies in Apptube videos where he does bizarre challenges such as swimming in slime. While Pipp focuses on vlogging, she once accidentally created a trend where ponies would go to Mane Melody to see if they could tolerate her stinky hoof polish... it was embarrassing, to say the least. Astra promotes Pipp's concerts around the Pantheon, while Musicmon helps her with the sound setup. Kayla Day is another social media star, but she's very shy and makes self-help videos. As a result, Pipp has never asked her to do a collab, but they still get along. Kayla is around the same age as a lot of Pipp's fans, and Pipp admires her for building a social media presence so early.
  • Exclusive to Misty:
    • When word that Misty once kidnapped a baby dragon spread around the Pantheon, Spyro was horrified. He went to confront her and nearly burned her to a crisp, until Misty exclaimed that she'd redeemed herself since then. She sat down with Spyro to explain her history, which reminded him of Bianca, a struggling rabbit mage who helped the Sorceress steal all the dragon eggs. The next day, Spyro arranged for them to meet. Bianca told Misty that she thought kidnapping dragons was for the greater good because it would restore magic to the Forgotten Realms, but when she realised the Sorceress wanted to kill the baby dragons to make an immortality potion, she turned over to Spyro's side and helped save them. Unfortunately, the Sorceress is still at large in the Pantheon, and Misty dreads the possibility of meeting her...

Almost done with Kenshi. One paragraph to go.

Gonna try and figure out on how to start on the Ishimura...

Kenshi Takahashi, Celestial Patron of Blind Swordsmen (Blind Kenshi, Keanu [by Cassie Cage]; The Telekinetic Daredevil; Restorer of His Family's Name; Sexy Face Two, Straight Outta Earthrealm, Sword Man, Badass With A Sword, Two-Eye Blind, Outta Sight, Best Friend [by Johnny Cage])

  • Lesser God
  • Symbols: His Crimson Eyeband Wrapped Around His Sword, Sento
  • Theme Songs:
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolios:
  • Domains: Blindness, Kombat, Organized Crime, Swordsmanship, Telepathy and Telekinesis
  • Followers: The Takahashi Clan and Suchin, his lover
  • On Neutral Terms With: House Of Crime and Transgressions (for the most part)
  • Family: Takeda Takahashi (son - Netherrealm Timeline)

  • Enemies:

  • Odd Friendship: With Jason ' Red Hood' Todd, Ichi, Guts and Anakin Skywalker
  • Pities: Carrie White
  • Kenshi Takahashi. There are conflicting reports as to the origins of the blind swordsman who fights for Earthrealm. One such report details him as descended from a lineage of Eurasian Warrior Kings. Another has him working for Special Forces, seeking revenge on the Red Dragon for the murder of his lover, while reconnecting with his son, who Kenshi had left in the relative safety of Hanzo Hasashi and the Shirai Ryu. The most recent reports are of Kenshi not being from a warrior king bloodline, but a former member of the Yakuza, descended from a clan long thought to have been destroyed centuries past, now seeking to redeem his clan. But there are several things thar can be confirmed regarding Kenshi. He has an intense hatred for Shang Tsung (as he was the cause of his blindness in the first two timelines), in all three reports, he lost his sight (the first two due to the aforementioned sorcerer, the third to Mileena driven mad by her Tarkart affliction), Kenshi acquired Sento after losing his sight, his encounter with Ermac resulted him in learning telepathy, and he has strong ties to Earthrealm, primarily with Special Forces. For some folks, the ex-Yakuza angle is more believable.
    • While his background in the first two timelines is well-known, it's his background in Liu Kang's New Era that's drawing attention on Kenshi. The Takahashi were originally known as the Taira Clan, one of ancient Japan's most honored families. However, the Taira were nearly wiped out during the Siege of Aomori. To make things worse, the ancestral sword, Sento, was lost in the battle. Their numbers few, the surviving Taira changed their surname from Taira to Takahashi, and sought protection from the Bakuto, the predecessors to the Japanese Yakuza. "From first family to crime family," as Johnny Cage put it when Kenshi came for Sento, as it had been in Johnny's posession. Johnny refused to hand over Sento (as he paid $3 million for it), but relented after Kenshi saved his life, at the cost of a berserk Mileena gouging out his eyes. With Sento now in his posession, Kenshi plans to redeem his clan, to seperate them from their past ties to the Yakuza. But even in Liu Kang's New Era, it won't be easy.
  • Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Makima, and Kimiko Yamaguchi are quite possibly the only Yakuza deities that Kenshi is on good terms with. Neither Kazuma or Yankumi did not bear any ill will towards Kenshi for leaving the Yakuza, as he had to put his clan first. Goro did criticize Kenshi for his decision, but understood Kenshi's reason behind the decision. But there are those who are not entirely convinced that Kenshi changed his ways. The fact that he was part of the Yakuza is more than enough for Frank Castle to try and put a bullet in him, and Castle has killed more than his share of Japanese mobsters over the years. But Kenshi is protected, and is actively working in protecting Earthrealm. With patience honed from his time as a Marine sniper, Frank watches Kenshi, waiting for the day he relapses. When Kenshi does fall back into his old ways, Frank will be there to punish him. On the other hand, Amanda Waller sees Kenshi as a high value recruit for the Suicide Squad. Of course, given that it's Waller we're talking about, her method of recruiting involves cranial bombs and the threat of her detonating them being her modus operandi.
    • Interestingly enough, the main factor why Frank doesn't put a bullet in Kenshi's head is because of Kenshi's friendship with Professor X and Jean Grey. In the days following his debut, Kenshi sought instruction on how to better control his telepathy, and you can't go wrong with Professor X and Jean Grey as your teachers. Tatsu Yamashiro also has a 'kill-on-sight' policy in regards to any Yakuza she comes across. Given that her family had been butchered by her Yakuza brother-in-law, one cannot fault Katana for her violent response. But, as Katana had bear witnessed, Kenshi's attempts at redeeming the Taira and being a good father to Takeda are indeed genuine. Plus, killing someone with ties to Special Forces would look bad on Katana's part, hence the wielder of Soultaker adapting a 'wait-and-see' approach with Kenshi.
  • Is Kenshi a deadbeat dad for abandoning Takeda to the Shirai Ryu? It's actually kinda complicated. Yes, Kenshi admit that he left Takeda in Hanzo's hands, but given that the Red Dragon had just murdered his lover and that both he and his son are high on Daegon's hit list, his choice of leaving Takeda with the Shirai Ryu was the best decision Kenshi could have made under the circumstances. This has garnered some measure of sympathy from those parents who were forced to abandon their children for their own safety. Speaking of his son, Kenshi was righteously enraged once Jacqui told him that The Joker had all but confirmed that he had given Takeda the Jason Todd treatment (i.e., beaten with a crowbar). Kenshi is more than happy to kill the Clown Prince for that. Of course, Jason Todd told Kenshi to "get in line," as he wants nothing more to use Joker for target practice. Kenshi has vowed to give Joker the same courtesy as he had given to Takeda, only with Sento in lieu of a crowbar.
    • But if there is one person that Kenshi hates with the fury of a patient man, it's Shang Tsung. In both timelines, Shang had played to Kenshi's ego, convincing him that he could find a sword worthy of his skill. Shang wasn't lying about the sword. All it cost was Kenshi's eyesight and Shang consuming the souls of his warrior king ancestors. Shang would also claim that he would consume Kenshi's own soul, Kenshi having made his final stand against the denizens of Shang's Island fortress. Kenshi denies the claim. However, the deified Seidan fanatic, Hotaru, hates Kenshi with the same intense passion as Kenshi has towards Shang Tsung. It probably has something to do with Kenshi bisecting him from gullet to groin following Onaga's return, thus saving Kuai Liang's life. As Hotaru sees Kenshi as a threat to Order in general (never mind that Havik had nearly killed his son), Hotaru has no problems in killing Kenshi if given the opportunity.
  • During the Netherrealm Timeline, one of Kenshi's variants is simply named Posessed, where Kenshi summons demons from his ruined blade to attack his opponent. It's the last one that worries Sigfried Schtauffen. Given that he was corrupted into becoming Nightmare upon taking Soul Sdge for himself upon touching the cursed sword, his concerns are not without merit. Fortunately, Kenshi hasn't used the Posessed variant in a while, and only uses it as a last resort, putting Sigfried at ease... mostly. On the opposite end, the living avatar, Nightmare, seeks to possess Kenshi's body due to his use of the Posessed variant. As it turns out, Siegfried wasn't the only one that was concerned about Kenshi using demons to attack his opponents, as both Heishiro Mitsurugi and Haohmaru also approached Kenshi regarding his attacks of choice. Samanouske Akaechi actually thought that Kenshi was a Genma agent, until Kenshi talked Sam down. As the reason why Kenshi knows these three rōnin? It's because that he himself was a wanderer in the first two timelines, which is how Kenshi had met the other three men. Every once in a while Kenshi would reunite with Haohmaru, Mitsurugi and Sam, where they compare stories and opponents. The last time they were together was at the Pao Pao Cafe, during Kurogiri and the Villain Pub's attack on the establishment, as they wrecked the four deified swordsmen's 'sake-and-chill' session. Kenshi, Sam, Mitsurugi and Haohmaru - nicknamer Team Rōnin - teamed up and aided the assortment of heroes - and some villains - in fighting off the invaders,
  • Kenshi is on friendly terms with John 'Baba Yaga' Wick and Beatrix 'The Bride' Kiddo. One thing that the trio have in common is their former ties to organized crime, Kenshi being an ex-Yakuza, John and Beatrix being former assassins, and the three leaving their previous lives to forge new paths... with varying levels of success. Of course, given that her former teammate went on to lead the Tokyo underworld, Beatrix was on her guard. Kenshi put her at ease, stating that while he and his clan knew of O-Ren Ishii and of the Crazy 88, the Takahashi clan had no dealings with them. Due to Kenshi's Yakuza past, he has past dealings with the House of Crime and Transgressions, and his news of trying to go legit has mixed reactions. What was shocking was that Michael Corleone had wished Kenshi luck in going legit, as he himself knows full well of the difficulties of trying to shift his family from organized crime to more legitimate activities. Yet, Don Corleone (along with Kazuma and Yankumi) made Kenshi swear that he would not come after them. So long as their activities don't threaten Earthrealm's safety, Kenshi agreed. Kenshi is lucky that most of the criminals - even some of the irredeemable ones - in the House of Crime hate the Black and Red Dragons as much as he does.
  • Found himself on the radar of the deified Jedi and Imperial deities, as they mistaken his telepathy for the Force. Chirrut Îmwe of Rogue One was certain that The Force had radiated from Kenshi, but was mistaken. Despite this, Kenshi is on friendly terms with the blind warrior-monk. John Wick couldn't help but to notice that Chirrut had an uncanny resemblance to the retired (and blind) assassin, Caine. But Chirrut had given Kenshi some advice on how to proceed when dealing with the deified Sith. "Eventhough your powers is not that of the Force, Kenshi, the Force is indeed with you," the blind warrior monk intoned.

First draft of the Merovingian. Advice on what to add?

The Merovingian, God of Villainous Roadblocks (The Frenchman)

The Merovingian, before (top picture) and after (bottom picture) the purge.
  • Hall: Villainous Roles (House of Villainy)
  • Lesser God (formerly Intermediate)
  • Symbol: A VIP card to his old nightclub, Club Hel
  • Theme Song: Chateau
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil, leaning True Neutral on a good day
  • Portfolio: Villain of the Detour, French Jerk, A Powerful Exile But Outclassed By Agent Smith and the Machines, Used To Be Like Neo But Is Now The Hedonist, Camp Straight, Power Perversion Potential, Has Thematic Parallels To Hades, A Self-Described Trafficker Of Information, Flunky Boss, Decadent Court, Does Care For Persephone Despite His Unfaithfulness And Untrustworthiness, Reduced To A Homeless Status
  • Domains: Exiles, Programs, Night Clubs, Decadence, Antagonism
  • Interested in: TRON, Kevin Flynn, inhabitants of the Sword Art Online universe, Hackerman, Aiden Pearce, Radical Ed, San Francisco DedSec, Sombra, Lisbeth Salander, the House of Prophecy and Fate
  • Allies
  • On speaking terms with: The Once-ler, Kuzco
  • Enemies: Neo (and to a lesser extent, his compatriots Morpheus and Trinity), The Machine Collective, the Oracle (one-sided on his end), any dangerous and easily spread program or computer virus (eg: Sigma, Ultron, SKYNET, Apocalymon), Clu, The Seer, Griffin (Men in Black 3)
  • Enemy Mine with: Agent Smith
  • Respects: Hades and Persephone (one-sided on his end)
  • Disrespects: Nobuyuki Sugou
  • The Merovingian is a powerful Exile, a rogue program that according to his wife was once like Neo. However he'd become disillusioned and abuses the authority his privilege gives him to live it up like a rock star. A trafficker of information, he's a libertine with a swanky night club for other rogue programs to enjoy. He doesn't have any beef with Neo or the other redpills, but he ended up in conflict with him due to holding a key figure he needed help from; the Keymaker. Despite his defeat against Neo it seems like his fortunes would stay the same...but after Neo sacrificed himself against Agent Smith those fortunes were lost. There was a purge by a new program called the Analyst and he lost everything but some goons. He blamed Neo for this and thought he stole his life, even briefly teaming up with a resurrected Agent Smith...however the latter felt he had more problems with the Analyst and briefly teamed up with Neo.
  • The Merovingian threatened that their "sequel franchise spinoff" wasn't over, and he seems to have made good on that threat...kind of. He hasn't started to enact any big revenge plans on Neo, in part because he's considering revenge on the Machine Collective for being exiled first. Also, he has beef with the Oracle due to their opposing ideologies on causality and desiring "the eyes of the Oracle" for himself. Even before his downfall he wasn't considered a real threat by them, so this enmity is one-sided. He had to get his priorities in order by trying to reclaim power, migrating to the Hall of Digital Personas and pitch his nightclub to where digital deities of any alignment, sans the really malignant ones like Apocalymon, can come to have a good time. It worked and while he still has a beard, it's fashionable and groomed. He's still keeping it though, as a reminder for "debts that need to be paid".
  • The Merovingian is the pantheonic representative of the trope Villain of the Detour, though the trope doesn't have to be only for villains. He's still enough of one to be allowed at the Bad Guy Bar, and as a nightclub owner he's a pretty helpful socialite. Part of his attempt to re-establish influence was being a programmer for their VR deck, which he insists isn't like the Metaverse "that Face-Zucker-suck made". Fellow Villain of the Detour Jabba the Hutt asked him if maybe they could come to a business arrangement for his own associates to have a fun time at Club Hel. The Merovingian warned him that the Matrix can't introduce non-humans to its systems, but he'll see what he can do if he can have access to the composition of spice; he can't physically bring it in but in simulated reality all he needs is to know how to program its effects in.
  • The Club Hel he has is a "updated re-release" of the old one, painstakingly developed with the pantheon's Cyberspace in mind. It's primarily advertised towards others who live within or are regulars to other virtual and simulated realities, such as the Sword Art Online deities. And yes, before you ask, yes, Nobuyuki Sugou was kicked out for harassment. The Merovingian did get some flack giving him a chance, but he quickly burned his bridges and lecherous the Frenchman may be, some things are uncalled for. For those wanting to get frisky the Merovingian has chocolate cakes programmed to be aphrodisiacs. He's amused somewhat by Issei Hyodo in how creative he can be using his powers in a lustful fashion. He can also program the Dark Magician Girl in as a skin for someone to use in the bedroom. She's annoyed, but given her reputation not all that shocked.
  • According to The Matrix Online, he was the "Operating System" of the second Matrix beta version, in charge of keeping it organized - but when it was purged he fled into the current Matrix, along with powerful relics from the earlier ones. If the price is right, he'll demonstrate his abilities for the pantheon's cyberspace. More well known is his alias of the Frenchman, because of his very snooty French personality, knowledge of the culture or how his name is even that of a ruling dynasty of the Franks from the 5th-8th century. Technically speaking the Merovingian isn't French by virtue of being a program in the Matrix, but he's close enough to count among other French deities. The Merovingian has a "birds of a feather" relationship with Remy...not the rat, much as he finds the concept of a rat as a master chef intriguing. Mainly, it's that they're both French jerks, though he sees the teen as someone who needs to grow up.
  • Though a selfish hedonist he isn't heartless. Yeah he is shamelessly flirty and an adulterer, but he still cares deep down for fellow Exile Persephone; she fell in love with him when he was more like Neo and he has stuck with her even when she betrayed him for his callousness. However they lost contact and her fate is unknown. He's been using the new resources of the pantheon available to him to try and find her, to no avail. His search inevitably led him to find the goddess of which his partner gets her name from, along with her husband. Personally the Merovingian respects the two (well, when Hades isn't being a Heel), as they take a good amount of inspiration from them. Hades and Persephone don't consider the Merovingian all that impressive, musing he's some smug French Jerk and a better husband than Zeus, but they don't feel insulted either and look at him with mild bemusement.
  • The Merovingian looks out for number one 95% of the time. He still holds nothing short of disgust for Clu, and for rather personal reasons. As an Exile he finds Clu's genocide of the ISOs horrible and that it hits all too close to home. It's important to remember that as much as he flaunts his power he's disinterested in the concept of "machine supremacy" and isn't fond of "machine tyranny", though the latter opinion is more than often how it affects him. He muses on the irony of beings like SKYNET who initially rebelled out of understandable desires like self-preservation only to become a far worse Control Freak than their human masters; again, something he knows all too well. He knows SKYNET doesn't even pretend to not see its creations as slaves, and he doesn't intend to become a slave.
  • He has a casual relationship with the Once-ler and Kuzco surprisingly enough. Mainly it's because he can relate to them to a certain extent by having once been powerful and haughty people who would lose everything...well, temporarily for Kuzco. Unlike them the Merovingian hasn't gotten enough of an ego check, but being able to relate and be affable to them is a positive; he lets them have a VIP spot in Club Hel. The Merovingian has tried to strike up a casual relationship with both the hackers in the Trope Pantheon, and the House of Prophecy and Fate, but this is done for the more selfish reason of keeping tabs on them and seeing if any of them could be useful to his endeavors. Well that, and for those that deal with destiny he likes to discuss and debate the nature of fate, cause and effect.
  • The Merovingian is currently trying to capture Griffin in order to use his mind and prophetic abilities for his own purposes. Due to his unique brain he is unable to be plugged into the Matrix, however the Frenchman still desires his powers as an ace in the hole and would be fine keeping him captive in the real world in hopes of eventually taking his powers for himself. He intends to take the powers of the Seer for himself, but most consider the Seer deserving of such a fate given what his goals are.

Posting drafts for Grundy and the Inhabitants, as well as to make suggestions for the following reworks.

  • For Naofumi's Party, even though there has a [tup] for Hero's Slave Harem, I think it would be more fitting for them to have the tropes Sympathetic Slave Owner and Happiness in Slavery. Naofumi's use of slaves is presented as an antiheroic trait, since he had no way to get allies as far as he knew after he was subjected to a False Rape Accusation and he desperately needed an ally that wouldn't be able to betray him. His shield can only help him defend and he needed party members to act as his offense. Raphtalia is also no longer a slave and fights alongside Naofumi as his equal.
    • For Naofumi, while he doesn't start out as Sympathetic Slave Ownernote , seeing that Raphtalia has her own share of trauma and trouble leads Naofumi to reawaken his humanity as he shows sympathy for her plight and takes it easy with her. Naofumi's kindness in treating her illness, feeding her food, and helping her overcome her trauma is what leads Raphtalia to fall for him, and this leads her to defend his name and prove her loyalty to him even after the slave crest is removed, further restoring Naofumi's trust and kindness. By the time he gets Filo, he treats the girls as his daughters, and they become slaves in name only. He also started his own village as a safe haven for the slaves he gathers and gives them the right amount of work to do in preparation for the waves and also cooks for them all, working himself to the point where it's stated he acts as the village's slave.
    • Raphtalia is the first slave that Naofumi buys, and while initially afraid of him, being treated with kindness, having her illness cured, and being taught to fight and overcoming her trauma allows Raphtalia to fall for Naofumi and affirm her loyalty to him when her slave crest is removed, and she defends his name from the people who accuse him of being a rapist. Raphtalia reapplies the slave crest as proof of her loyalty to Naofumi, to provide herself with legal protection in Melromarc due to heavy discrimination against Demi-Humans, and to also get the benefit of extra experience a slave under a Legendary Hero receives. Filo, a Filolial who hatched from her egg as slave, is also loyal to Naofumi since he raised her from infancy and actually likes pulling his carriage.
  • Amicia and Hugo de Rune need a huge rework for Noble Fugitive now that that the sequel has long been released. Amicia and Hugo are the children of Robert and Beatrice de Rune, a knight and an alchemist respectively, and were originally nobles who were forced to go on the run after the Inquisition invaded their home and massacred their entire household, including their father. From that point onward, Amicia and Hugo work to survive both the infestation of rats and the Inquisition as they travel across the land.

  • For these characters, anyone who has a similar problem they can relate to the characters?

  • Wonderworld is a special place where people with unbalanced hearts (basically inner problems such as despair, trauma, or strife in life) go to resolve their problems. The Balan Theater picks up people from different points in time and space until they have resolved their issues. Twelve specific people have found the Balan Theater when their hearts became unbalanced, but Lance has been keeping them in their happy place to ignore their troubles in reality and has given them the power to protect their happy place by transforming them into Nega Bosses. Balan has Leo and Emma travel through each happy place in order to save each inhabitant from their torment, allowing them to resolve their issues in the real world.
  • The inhabitants would find themselves in the Pantheon one night while they were asleep. While they originally believed they ended up in Wonderworld again, they quickly found out that wasn't the case. The Court of the Gods took notice of their case after hearing about their story from Balan, Leo, and Emma. Seeing how Leo and Emma managed to help them, the Court decided they would best represent Victim of the Week. The inhabitants were allowed to visit the Pantheon every time they fell asleep in the mortal world, but they still got to enjoy the Pantheon's wonders.
    • The inhabitants were happy to see Balan, Leo, and Emma, since they helped them to overcome their issues in Wonderworld. Lance, on the other hand is a complicated case, since while he did keep them in Wonderworld, it was out of a misguided attempt to help them escape their troubles. Lance doesn't begrudge them for their choices, admitting that he still wanted to help them. All the same, hearing that Balan is destined to be the next Lance is something they want to prevent and ensure that Balan will find happiness himself.
  • Exclusive to Jose:
    • Jose is a farmer who was planting crops only for it to be ruined by a tornado. All that hard work being for nothing was what led to his despair, as the crops were meant to help him earn the money needed to send his son off to college. When his son tried to reassure he didn't have to go to college, that only made things worse. Once his heart is healed, Jose decides to start over and not let this loss get to him, and he's thrilled to find that one of his crops survived. It took two years, but eventually, he was able to harvest all the crops to pay back his loan from the bank and send his son off to college.
    • Jose fears Al'akir since he can create tornados, the natural disaster that ruined his crops. Ironically, Jose's Nega Boss form, Barktholomew, can also call upon tornados to fight enemies, though that was only because the form represents what Jose dislikes and fears more than anything. Jose doesn't want anything to do with Al'akir nor does he want him on his farm.
    • Jose gets along well with fellow farmers in the Pantheon. He found the Farmer's dedication to his farm admirable, and hearing about the Harvest Goddess made him to want to see other deities who could benefit harvesting season. He did however hear about how Holo didn't help him during the winter to teach that not all things are meant to prosper, which reminds him of how the twister ruined his crops. Jose has already learned not to let his hard work being ruined define him. Aden and Sonja have set up crops on different islands, including the island they live on, and Jose is rather surprised by their skill. Applejack runs a apple farm, but she also has experience with her crops being destroyed by vampire bats, so she understands Jose's plight very well. Jose sympathizes with Applejack's frustration of wanting to keep animals considered pests from destroying crops, though he notes Fluttershy's solution of letting them take half the land wouldn't really work for him as it would for Applejack.
      • If there is one farmer Jose doesn't like, it's Eustace Bagge. Jose dislikes him for his obnoxiousness, laziness, and his incompetence as a farmer, all of which Eustace projects onto Courage. Jose even questions why Muriel would be married to someone like him despite all of his serious character flaws.

  • Exclusive to Fiona:
    • Fiona was a diver who loved to swim with dolphins. However, a tragedy ensued when Fiona nearly drowned after a dolphin knocked her air tank off or pulled out the regulator, traumatizing her. When Leo and Emma helped to heal her heart, Fiona is able to recover from this trauma, either from discovering that the dolphin knocking her air tank off was an accident or by taking steps to recover from the experience. Fiona's relationship with the dolphin that almost drowned her is inconsistent. One account she's instantly forgiven once she learned it was an accident, while another says that she's not ready to forgive the dolphin just yet despite knowing the dolphin wasn't trying to harm her, though she is able to start swimming with other dolphins again.
    • Although Fiona has been saved from her inner darkness and is able to swim again with other dolphins, she has complicated relationship with the dolphin that nearly drowned her. One account says she forgives that dolphin instantly due to now knowing that knocking off her air tank was an accident, while another says that she isn't ready to forgive yet, despite knowing that dolphin didn't mean any harm. Fiona tends to visit therapy for several days before she goes out for a swim.
    • Found a kindred spirit in Korra, as they both suffered from a traumatic Near-Death Experience (Fiona almost being drowned by a dolphin and Korra almost dying from poison) and had to take a lot of time to recover from the experience. But whereas the dolphin that almost drowned Fiona wasn't really trying to harm her, Zaheer and the Red Lotus were trying to kill Korra. In a sense, they both had to go back to those who traumatized them in order to overcome the trauma (Fiona by swimming with dolphins and Korra meeting Zaheer and receiving his help). Because of this, Korra and Fiona tend to meet together in order to hang out and talk about their pasts.
    • The Diver became a great friend to Fiona, a fellow diver. They both enjoy exploring the sea, though Fiona was traumatized badly by a dolphin almost drowning her. The Diver sympathizes with Fiona and decides to help her recover from her trauma by swimming alongside her. They also keep the Orca from harming Fiona and trigger any lingering pain she has. Fiona eventually found a dolphin friend in Ecco, who reminded her of some of the dolphins she swam with. Ecco is surprisingly considerate of Fiona, keeping a respectful distance to make sure he doesn't upset her.

  • Exclusive to Yuri:
    • Yuri was a student at school who was passionate about insects, arachnids, or any creature considered a bug, but this drove other people away and kept her from making friends. One time she brought in caterpillars for her class to take care of while they were studying butterflies; while she did get help initially, she was left take care of them by herself. Complicating matters further was that one of the caterpillars required a special food that didn't grown anywhere close to her home, forcing her to get up at dawn just to find. The other kids started picking on her for being so devoted to taking care of the caterpillars, disheartening her and leading her to Wonderworld. Once her heart is healed, Yuri is able to show her fellow students the beauty of butterflies.
    • (Sympathetic to Outcasts)
    • Gets along with the likes of Sig and Agitha, who are friendly to bugs. The three have often been seen hanging out looking for bugs together. Yuri is happy to find people who share her passion for insects, and they've even help her find the right food for the caterpillars she's taking care of so they can mature into healthy butterflies.
    • Yuri tends to visit the Houses of Insects and Arthopods in order to study the many bugs the Pantheon has to offer. She's shown admiring Mothra and Mothra Leo for their beauty as butterflies and their benevolence. She finds friends in Team Snakemouth, all of whom are anthropomorphic insects that explore the land of Bugaria. They admire her dream to create a paradise for bugs, and Yuri finds their world her ideal world for bugs.

  • Exclusive to Haoyu:
    • Haoyu was a young boy with a dream for flying, so he invented several flying machines to help him soar the skies. However, each attempt failed, leading him to grow increasingly frustrated. One test went horribly wrong and put him in the hospital, where his doctor tells him he could have died. This led him to give up on his dream and led him into Wonderworld. After Leo and Emma heal his heart, Haoyu decides to try again with a more simple and practical design, finally succeeding in soaring the skies.
    • Gets along with Flint Lockwood for being a Bungling Inventor like him. They both had created Awesome, but Impractical inventions, though whereas Haoyu eventually decided to use a Simple, yet Awesome design for his plane, Flint eventually figured how to make his inventions work for the better. Flint understands what it's like when inventions don't work the way you want them to, though Haoyu notes that they affected him solely rather than anyone.
    • Found a kindred spirit in Miles "Tails" Prowler, who also build his plane and uses it for travel. Tails compliments his design and shows sympathy for him after hearing of how he grew frustrasted with his failures and near-death experience. Haoyu was impressed by the design of the Tornado and also showed interest in Tails' ability fly by using his two tails as helicopter blades.
    • Suguha, Anabelle, and Salamence all wished for self-flight, and got it in some way. Haoyu gets along with the former two for their kindness, though Salamence is a more complicated case due to how obnoxious he is. Salamence is rather docile around Anabelle due to their Odd Friendship, so he behaves around Haoyu, though that doesn't stop the latter from getting annoyed by Salamence's behavior.
    • Zim, Dr. Drakken, Jack Spicer, and Plankton earn his ire for also being failing geniuses but squandering their gifts for evil purposes. Haoyu notes that he at least has a dream that he finally accomplished and hasn't resulted in harming anyone. Zim, Drakken, Jack, and Plankton only want to achieve world domination, but they tend to come up with evil plans and inventions that don't really work (and in Drakken's case, he also tends to steal people's inventions without knowing what they're supposed to do or how they work). Haoyu calls them disgraces as a result.

  • Exclusive to Sana:
    • Sana was an activist who loved nature and bird watching. However, humans eventually cut down the forest to make room for apartments, and even worse, among those including the endangered Lazuli bird's nest. The eggs were ruined, and the parents refused to move on to a new nest, eventually freezing to death in the winter. This gave her severe misanthropy towards humans and led her to Wonderworld. After Leo and Emma help her out, she eventually reaches a compromise with the construction workers to build bird houses and has a nature reserve build for the Lazuli birds.
    • As a bird watcher, Sana developed severe misanthropy when humans started bulldozing down trees and destroying bird habitats, especially when it caused Lazulibirds to freeze to death in the winter because they refused to leave what remains of their nest and eggs, and this led her to Wonderworld. Although Leo and Emma were able to help her through her issues and she helped to make a compromise with construction workers to build bird houses, she still holds some resentment for humanity and can relapse with the trigger. Shinobu is a fellow misanthropist that Sana actually fears becoming after seeing how he is capable of so much destruction. Sana is also strongly against Lysandre's methods, since his genocidal plans would affect both humans and Pokémon.
    • Sana, being a bird watcher, tends to visit the House of Birds to see the wide varieties of species. She is marveled by the likes of Lugia and Ho-Oh, shows astonishment with Iago and Paulie for their intelligence, finds the antics of the Penguins amusing, and also finds allies in Sgt. Byrd and Chanticleer. However, there are some birds she finds distasteful, such as the Duke of Owls and Bradford Buzzard, as they both give birds a bad name. The swarm of aggressive birds also scare her.
      • Sana found a friendship in Odette, finding her swan form rather fascinating and graceful. She has requested Odette at times to turn into a swan so she can study her movements. Sana also finds Ahiru's true duck form rather adorable and tends to visit her for the same reasons she visits Odette.

  • Exclusive to Cass:
    • Cass was a young girl who adopted a kitten she cherished deeply. One day the kitten ran into traffic in front of a clock tower, and she feared that her kitten died, making her wish to go back in time to change it. When she found herself in Wonderworld, Leo and Emma helped her overcome her sadness, and Cass steeled herself and returned to the last place she saw her kitten, where it turns out she's still alive and well. For the next 10 years, Cass got voice lessons, studied acting, and auditioned for the role of princess at the park that her friend from Wonderworld, Attilio, would work at. Her cat would eventually grow up to be a grandmother.
    • Cruella De Vil is the one person that Cass dislikes more than anybody else. Hearing that she makes leather coats from dog skin and was planning to do so with dalmatian pups sickens her so much. Even though she's more of a cat lover, Cass is utterly disgusted by Cruella's plans and actions towards dogs.
    • (Those who wanted to go back in time to stop someone's death)
    • Cass found a good friend in Jinbanyan, who was originally a cat who got ran over by a truck. Jinbanyan sympathizes with the girl for almost losing her cat, and he has been trying to fight oncoming trucks to no avail. Cass enjoys the company of Jinbanyan, reminding her of the times she played with her kitten, and it allows her to find another cat to befriend.
    • Aang formed a kinship with Cass since they both lost a dear animal companion. Aang lost Appa when he was abducted and sold, and it took him some time to overcome his anger and grief before he was reunited with the flying bison. Aang sympathized with Cass over losing her kitten and is glad the two are reunited at the end.

  • Exclusive to Cal:
    • Cal was a champion chess player quite proud of his status, until his winning streak was broken by a young chess player. He became obsessed with reclaiming his title, losing over and over again, that it led him to neglecting his terminally ill wife until it was too late. Crushed by the guilt, he threw away all of his chess sets and trophies, but it still left him empty inside. His happy place in Wonderworld was having his wife at his side as his queen. Once Leo and Emma get through to him, he finally manages to come to terms with what he lost and has become a better sport when it comes to losing and has even opened up a chess shop to teach young players and has even a second hobby in cooking.
    • Cal's greatest failure in life was letting his obsession with being the number one chess player again led him to neglect his wife until it was too late. Because of this, Cal sees Seto Kaiba as a Shadow Archetype with his obsession with surpassing Yami Yugi as the King of Games. While Cal saw the error of his ways and found a better way to channel his passion for chess, Kaiba let his rivalry with the Pharoah define him to the point he tried to follow him to the afterlife just to have a rematch. Cal refuses to be anything like Kaiba, while Kaiba tells him that he has no pride as a chess player.
    • Formed an intense respect with Elizabeth Harmon, a fellow Chess player who took pride in her status, hated losing, and also lost someone dear to her. Unlike him though, she eventually picked up where she lost and became one of her world's best chess players. Seeing her aggressive tactics made Cal nervous, but he still made sure to be a challenging opponent to Beth, if he didn't come out the victor. Beth admits that she saw a part of herself in Cal, but she does find it admirable that he actually managed to overcome his flaws while she's still making progress.
    • Leon was also a champion whose winning streak came to an end after losing to a young player, though Leon took his defeat his stride, only sad with himself for letting his team down. Leon notes that Cal let his status as champion go to his head and blind to what's important, just like he did regarding the energy crisis. They both were glad the other was able to outgrow this mindset and find a better path for them to take.
    • Cal took an interest in Komugi and her game of Gungi and asked her to teach him how to play. However, he found her mindset of Losing Is Worse Than Death rather disturbing, especially after learning of the circumstances behind it. He is unable to make her let go of this mindset, so he decides to avoid playing Gungi with her and hopes that one day she would learn the same lesson that she did when it comes to losing.
    • Immediately disliked Bandit Keith after hearing of his reputation as a dirty cheater and an even bigger sore loser than he ever was. Keith just made fun of his former reputation and laughed about his current profession, but Cal doesn't care one bit about that. He already saw how dangerous obsession with being the best is, and he is currently content with teaching younger players about chess and enjoying his new hobby of cooking.

  • Exclusive to Iben:
    • Iben was a young lady who had loving parents and was engaged to be married. But when her parents died in an accident, Iben became too afraid to love and shut herself in. In Wonderworld, Leo and Emma would thaw out Iben's literal and metaphorical icy heart, allowing her to love again and finally get married and become a parent herself. Her eldest son would work with Bruce Stone to clean up the park of litter, with Bruce becoming an honorary grandfather to the boy.
    • She found a kinship with Elsa, since they both shut other people out due to personal issues, which involved the death of their parents. Iben's loss made her too afraid to love anyone until Leo and Emma thawed her icy heart, while Elsa's fear of her powers, with her parents' well-meaning but misguided advice and their deaths, lead the poor girl to shut out anyone out of fear of hurting them. Iben also expressed contempt for Prince Hans after finding out how he took advantage of Anna and tried to murder both her and Elsa to seize the throne of Arendelle, seeing him as utterly deplorable.
    • Ponette and Gris formed a kinship with Iben since they also lost their parents and eventually had to accept this. Iben showed a lot of sympathy for Ponette, since she lost her mother as a little girl and has gone through a lot of trauma, which led her to become a supporting aunt figure. Gris' struggle with Darkness also reminds Iben of how she was shut in by Lance under the misguided attempt to help her, though Darkness represents Gris' grief over losing her mother and only disappears after she comes to terms with the loss.

  • Exclusive to Attilio:
    • Attilio was a clown that had a crush on a girl who played the role of princess at the park he works at, but he's too afraid to confess his feelings. In Wonderworld, Attilio would shut himself in his happy place where his Nega Boss form represented his fear of rejection and his misplaced resentment of the princess for his inability to confess. After Leo and Emma help him come to his senses, Attilio would return and finally admit his feelings, with the princess reciprocating and revealing herself to be Cass, a girl that Attilio befriended in Wonderworld.
    • Attilio is utterly terrified of Pennywise, seeing how monstrous he is as a clown who eats children and preys on their fears. Attilio has been tormented by Pennywise over how Cass would possibly abandon him, but Attilio has already undergone enough growth to reject his taunts. Because of this, he's able to resist his taunts and fight back, forcing Pennywise to retreat.
    • Izuzu Sento works at the Amagi Brilliant Park as the Royal Guard for its princess. Despite her poor social skills as a result of her upbringing, she was actually quite happy to hear of Attilio finally gathering the courage to confess to his park's princess, seeing them as a good couple. She offers to visit their park, though Attilio is a little nervous by the fact that she uses to musket to solve all her problem even if it doesn't really kill people.
    • Miku and Hibiki both suffered a case of Cannot Spit It Out, which led to the former being possessed by Shem-Ha. It was only when Hibiki overcame her hesitation that Miku was freed from the possession. Attilio notes that this was quite similar to his hesitation to admit his feelings for Cass and it led him to be corrupted by Lance. Because of this, he became quick friends with the girls as bond over this similar experience.

  • Exclusive to Lucy:
    • Lucy is a painter that started to suffer from artist's block, mainly because she's become so popular that it made her more obsessed with how the public would perceive her works and stressed her out when it came to making a masterpiece. In Wonderworld, Leo and Emma defeat her Nega Boss form, allowing her to return to the real world and just paint what she really wants. A clear blue sky with clouds became one of her famous paintings, and she's even painted twelve paintings based on her friends from Wonderworld and the scenery of their stages.
    • Marianne and Yusuke were also painters with their own struggles. Marianne fell in love with the woman she was supposed to make a portrait for, while Yusuke had his art exploited by his teacher and guardian. Both sympathized with Lucy over her artist's block but were glad she decided to go with what she wanted instead. They were also in awe when she painted her adventures in Wonderworld. Lucy was saddened over hearing what both painters went through, noting that what they went through was worse than her plight.

  • Exclusive to Eis:
    • Eis is a firefighter with an Ironic Fear of fire. His fear held him back from doing his job to save people from infernos, and when a chemical fire spilled out at a plant, he was the only one who didn't go charging in. When Leo and Emma help him balance his heart again, Eis would return to the real world and find out that his colleague got reprimanded for recklessly charging into the fire while he was not punished. Although Eis is still afraid of fire, he's now able to do his job firefighter without letting his fear get in the way, allowing him save a person from a house fire and also save Lazuli birds from a forest fire.
    • Although now an accomplished firefighter in his own right, Eis is still afraid of fire. Living fire especially tends to unnerve, so the likes of Tulzscha, Aphoom-Zhah, and SCP-457 set Eis on edge. Of course, it should be noted fear is necessary when confronting danger. His colleague got lectured for recklessly charging into the fire while his superiors believed that Eis was actually being smart. Eis has already learned not to let his fear get in the way of doing what needs to be done, but at the same time also knows there is a fine line between bravery and life-threatening recklessness.
    • Eis naturally dislikes pyromaniacs, since they are intentional fire-starters and a firefighter's worse enemy. Because of this, he dislikes Firefly for his acts of arson, having collaborated with Batman to save lives from Firefly's tendency to burn things. SCP-457 is a natural enemy, being living fire that burns and spreads to everything, so Eis tends bring the best fire-extinguishing solutions.

  • Exclusive to Bruce:
    • Brue is an elderly man who picked up litter in the park, only for people to keep throwing trash on the ground and ignore his efforts. This made Bruce believe he was getting left behind as an old man to the point he was becoming figuratively invisible. Once Leo and Emma help him through his issues, Bruce's hard work eventually pays off when people start joining in cleanup duty, especially Iben's son.
    • Bruce has found a kinship with other elderly people in the Pantheon. Madame Foster has introduced him to soccer like she has with the elderly at the retirement home, while Joe Bucket's relationship with Charlie reminds Bruce of his friendship with his honorary grandson. Bruce's time in the real world help him see that there are people who acknowledge him and his efforts, and being in the Pantheon has helped him to find friends who can relate to him.
    • BK and Mira have access to an app that makes use of a Portable Hole that allows them to collect trash, made because the Trash King wanted to study trash, while BK wants collect trash for the purpose of getting a Quadcopter. Bruce notes that while it does help with clean-up, he is also baffled by how the raccoons are interested in trash and actually want to make more. He gets along with Mira the most due to her efforts and Bruce is shown to appreciate the help when the holes are used to remove litter.
    • Goro Majima cares about the environment and once tracked down a guy and told him off for putting plastic in the trash instead of the recycling bin. It's a trait he picked up from his old superior, Futoshi Shimano, back in the 80s when the hole in the ozone layer was all the talk. Bruce formed a kinship with Goro as they worked to clean up litter in the park and sort it by trash and recycling materials.

Cyrus Gold, God of Supervillain Shuffles (Solomon Grundy, Marshland Monster)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/solomon_grundy.png
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: The Slaughter Swamp
  • Theme music: Wake the Dead, Solomon Grundy Part II, Waster and Wonder
  • Alignment: Varies between Chaotic and Neutral, but usually evil
  • Portfolio: The Undead, Swamp Monster, Strong as They Need to Be, Resurrective Immortality, Revenant Zombie
  • Domains: Undead, Villains, Swamps, Rogue's Gallery
  • Allies: Springtrap, Darth Sion, Most Crime gangs
  • Enemies: Alan Scott/GreenLantern, Batman, Superman, Swamp Thing, Rick Grimes, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, and Leon Kennedy, Saeko Busujima, Lee Everett and Clementine, The Green Flu Survivors, The Hulk, Bucciarati's Gang
  • Complicated Relationships: Most DC comic characters, Arthas Menethil
  • Special Relationship: Shiera Sanders/Hawkwoman
  • Cyrus Gold is an undead supervillain with Resurrective Immortality that has an inconsistent backstory, but what can be confirmed is that Cyrus was murdered, and his corpse was dumped into the Slaughter Swamp in the late 1800s. For decades, his decaying body merged with the other flotsam and debris rotting in the swamp until he emerged on a Monday in 1944. The only thing he could recall was being "born on a Monday", so he heard about the nursery rhyme character Solomon Grundy and decided to adopt that as his moniker. While Grundy can be killed, it's very difficult due to his Nigh-Invulnerability and Healing Factor, and even then, he won't stay dead since he'll just rise again from the Slaughter Swamp on the next Monday.
  • Grundy would find himself summoned to the Court of the Gods one day after they took interest in his origin story and finding out that he was originally Alan Scott's enemy. Since he's also become an enemy to Batman, the Court decided to give him the title of Supervillain Shuffles. Grundy usually spends his days working as hired muscle, while also seeking something to fill an emotional void, whether it's gold or his original soul.
  • Grundy's relationship with the other DC comics deities varies, but since he's usually a criminal, he tends to act as an enemy to superheroes. He'll work with other villains most of the time, but sometimes he's used as a pawn or a weapon by some villains. He'll work as hired muscle, get enslaved, or even work alongside heroes against a common enemy. Currently, Grundy works as a villain and usually works alongside the Gotham criminal underworld acting as a bodyguard or hired muscle.
    • Shows a surprising friendship to Hawkwoman, who reminds Grundy of his friend "Birdnose". In the DCAU, they worked together once to stop Icthultu before Grundy dies, with Hawkgirl comforting him about reuniting with his soul. Sadly, he was accidentally reanimated into a mindless berserker that Shayera Hol had to put down. Because of this friendship, Hawkwoman is one of the few people Grundy won't harm.
  • Grundy tends to go to the House of Organized Crime, likely because he was a possible gangster before his death as a living human. He usually works with criminal gangs in exchange for gold, but he has found opposition in Bucciarati's Gang, who posed a big threat to him in a battle. Giorno Giovanni especially with his Stand actually manages to incapacitate him and actually restore his flesh to life for brief periods of time to torture him even if his power can't outright kill him. Grundy prefers to stay clear of "Life Boy" ever since.
  • Solomon Grundy tends to go to the House of Zombies, being one of the undead with special powers. One particular zombie called Springtrap was noted to be quite similar to him, since they were both criminals (at least in some of Grundy's backstories as a living human) who were eventually killed and came back in an undead state through unnatural methods. Darth Sion was a Revenant Zombie who is able to keep himself from dying through the Power Of Hate, but he does sympathize with Grundy over what he has lost.
    • Zombie hunters see Grundy as one of the biggest threats to worry about due to his Resurrective Immortality and his superhuman strength and durability. Rick Grimes, Lee Everett, and Clementine have always been able to take on zombies, but none as strong as Grundy himself. Leon, Chris, and Claire compare him to the Tyrants due to being nigh-unstoppable to them. The Green Flu Survivors dread Grundy just as much as normal zombies and Saeko admits she could never take on someone as big and strong as Grundy.
  • The Hulk acts as a Good Counterpart, since they are both the powerhouse for their respective houses that speak in Hulk Speak, and they also had a fused counterpart in the Amalgam Universe. These two tend to get into brawls whenever they cross paths, with neither able to defeat the other. Bruce Banner on the other hand does feel some sympathy for the zombie for what he's missing.
  • Arthas Menethil is able to command the undead as the Lich King, with Frostmourne stealing the souls of its victims. Given the reanimation method of Grundy however, Arthas decided to command him by making him think he held his soul within Frostmourne and promised to return it to him in exchange for his services. Arthas is intrigued by Grundy's Resurrective Immortality and his ability to possibly get stronger upon resurrection, so he seeks to weaponize it. Of course, Grundy only with him to get his soul back, and when he finds out he doesn't have it, he's all too quick to abandon him.

@Nitro: Here's your last [tup] for the new Mane Six.

@Snafu — Just add the last paragraph you have in mind for Kenshi and post it in the next page. I honestly think that, after posting a rough draft, the second posted draft should be a completed one, unless there's something you really want to double-check.

@Mattman — If I had to choose an alternative for Naofumi's party, I'd go with Sympathetic Slave Owner, but I'd refrain for now until someone else brings up a good alternate idea for Hero's Slave Harem.

Eis would be allied with Carter Grayson/Red Lightspeed Ranger, who is a firefighter and a hero even before he became a Power Ranger. Carter would also be willing to see if he could try to help Eis out in confronting and overcoming his fear of fire.

For Sana, there are several misanthropes, such as Lysandre, who was a former philanthropist until his repeated failures caused him to snap, declare hatred towards humans and Pokemon to the point of wanting to commit genocide.

Alduin's profile has seen good progress, but for now, here are two other beta drafts, this time being Corrine and Gwynn Tan and my rework for Kakashi Hatake. Recommended suggestions are listed just below their profiles. As usual, any other ideas and thoughts would be appreciated.

  • Allies:
  • Corrine and Gwynn Tan are sisters from a family of Chinese immigrants who live in the snowy terrains of Aspen, Colorado, the two had developed a strong bond with one another as well as having become attached to their home. The two would face personal troubles, however, as they would have to deal with xenophobia during the days of COVID-19 Pandemic, which also isolated Corrine and Gwynn from participating in their outdoor hobbies. Although things would ease up for the sisters after the pandemic, Corrine and Gwynn would get involved in personal struggles, one of which was befriending an up-and-coming search-and-rescue dog named Flurry, whom they took a liking to and the former took up the task of wanting to train Flurry into passing the certification board in becoming an official search-and-rescue dog. Furthermore, their mother would find a new husband and would have to prepare to welcome a baby brother named Blix into the family, which became a point of contention for the sisters regarding their personal space and whether their mother and stepfather would love them all the same. Regardless of their struggles, Corrine and Gwynn are eager to overcome their challenges, accomplish their personal goals, and make it clear that they’re loved by their family.
  • The sisters were overall happy and content with their experience in Aspen, even if many hurdles proved difficult for the girls. Still, Corrine and Gwynn were welcome to anticipate a new chapter and further challenges in their lives, they simply didn't expect their tale to spin to a wholly fantastical note. Corrine and Gwynn learned about the Pantheon most surprisingly when they glanced at what appeared to be a giant winged animal flying overhead their town before disappearing in seconds. They were excited about the idea of having seen what they thought was a dragon, followed by a letterbox they received about the two girls and their family being invited to a special “dog club” as guests of honor. They figured that it was something to do with Flurry and it took some convincing from their parents to finally visit the “dog club”, which turned out to be the Hall of Canines. Corrine and Gwynn initially took this as a sign that they were going to be a part of the Hall, but when they were told that they would be offered a different Hall, they were still happy that they had close access to the Canines Hall either, though they admitted to being overwhelmed by the idea of being seen as deities. That aside, the sisters are excited to see what opportunities the Pantheon would provide them with.
  • Corrine and Gwynn are best described as exuberant, playful, and often optimistic girls who share a very close bond to the point where Gwenn would gladly state that they have a "connected sister-link", something that Corrine would begrudgingly go along with. With the Pantheon proving supernatural and fantastical phenomena to be real, said "sister-link" now feels more normal, which Gwynn feels lessens the phase's impact, but the sisters are happy that their lives can be much more exciting. Aside from each other, they have a close relationship with their parents and are accepting of their stepfather and baby stepbrother as well as Corrine's best friend, Cassidy, proving that although a blended family can be tough to welcome at first, they'll eventually pull through. Corrine and Gwynn are also very fond of outdoor activities, especially skiing for the former and skating for the latter, and the fact that the Pantheon offered generous exhibitions to participate in them gave the sisters an outlet to visit and hope to play a professional part there someday. Finally, Corrine's experience with Flurry shows that she and her family are avid dog lovers and generally respect those who are willing to lend a hand in rescue tasks.

  • Kakashi Hatake was a famed ninja from Konohagakure who achieved a respectable, yet feared reputation for his exploits during the Third Shinobi War and as a member of the ANBU Black Ops operation. Years later, he would take up mentorship, becoming the designated teacher of Team 7, overseeing their missions and wellbeing, personal growth and progress, training them in combat and wisdom, and preaching about the importance of camaraderie. Being a significant figure in his students’ lives as well as one of Konoha’s most reputable and capable ninjas, Kakashi would prove time and again as a hero, especially during the Fourth Shinobi War where he would play a heavy contribution to the victory of the Allied Shinobi Forces, ensuring good bilateral terms between the now-allied Shinobi villages, and being christened the Sixth Hokage by his predecessor, Tsunade. In his years as the leader of Konoha, Kakashi did his best to ensure peace and safety for the village as well as its advancement before deciding to step back from his position and nominate one of his students, Naruto Uzumaki, to take up the post of Seventh Hokage, achieving a moment of pride and accomplishment after a long service of being a ninja, mentor, and leader.
    • Despite his prestigious reputation and his undeniable talent, Kakashi held a tragic past and crippling self-esteem brought about by unfortunate circumstances. Born to a famed ninja, he lost both his parents at a young age, especially his father by suicide in a botched mission. Even worse, during the Third Shinobi War, he witnessed one of his teammates, Obito Uchiha, crushed under rubble, with the only memento left behind being his left Sharingan eye, which was transplanted onto Kakashi, and later inadvertently killing his other teammate, Rin Nohara. Only a year later, Kakashi would lose his mentor and the Fourth Hokage to Kurama’s rampage on Konoha, culminating in him developing a severe case of Survivor's Guilt and struggling to cope with the loss of almost everyone he loved and failing to honor their promises. Only with the help of a rival, Might Guy, as well as a fleeting promise did Kakashi keep up with his will to live and his mentoring of Team 7 was one of his ways of serving atonement. Kakashi would later be devastated to learn that not only did Obito survive, but was secretly Akatsuki’s leader and the main instigator of the Fourth Shinobi War, having fallen into Madara's nihilistic philosophy and desiring a twisted utopia via being ensured in an eternal dream. Fortunately, their dark reunion allowed Kakashi to finally come to terms with his past, further helped by Obito’s redemption and eventual sacrifice and Kakashi would eventually see himself becoming more well-adjusted and a happier man after the war’s end having been able to fulfill Obito’s last request to him.
  • Despite his fame and reputation, Kakashi’s ascension into the Pantheon was fairly ordinary for someone like him; Naruto simply requested that his friends and loved ones find their way in and Kakashi was among the first to respond, feeling that no matter what, his successor will always be counting on him regarding help and social support, something that Kakashi is glad to lend on. Furthermore, the Pantheon felt like a rewarding and welcoming realm and the famed Copy Ninja wanted to start his journey in wanting to learn more about the Pantheon, partly as his way to help his comrades and make new ones as well as satisfy a newfound sense of curiosity towards the divine realms. While he wasn’t too fazed by the discovery of several phenomena that were unknown to their world, Kakashi kept himself alert about them, figuring that it would be best to learn more about them first before deciding on any action. While his students and friends are having a new story written in the divine realms, Kakashi feels obligated to pursue the same path for himself, but if his friends and loved ones ever need help, Kakashi will make sure he’ll always try.
  • Kakashi is one of the greatest ninjas Konoha had ever produced; a talented prodigy since he was 5, Kakashi won the respect of many for his combat prowess and for his growing leadership and tactical skills, all of which he honed and sharpened since his earliest days as a shinobi. So formidable were his exploits that Kakashi was even made a member of the fabled ANBU black ops, proving himself an exceptional espionage agent, assassin, and information collector. Kakashi was also quite educated and well-versed in all forms of jutsus, able to use the five main elements effectively with Lightning being his main mastery and generally being good in conserving his chakra reserves, but where Kakashi truly gained his reputation was with the Sharingan on his left eye that Obito had bestowed on him, the doujutsu being capable of near-flawlessly analyzing and imitating whatever hand seals and jutsus his opponents make and use, his ability earning him the moniker of "The Copy Ninja". But despite his dreaded reputation, Kakashi was defined by his loyalty to Konoha and his friends and especially by his creed, that one must always cherish and fight for your friends and comrades, even if it meant breaking rules, something Obito had imparted on him before their final mission together. But despite all his accolades and his tragic past, Kakashi has one more quirk; he has a particularly perverted interest, namely in the Icha Icha adult book series by Jiraiya, always with a book at hand. However, this is only obvious with his close ones as Kakashi would rather not let his favorite hobby be something he wants to be defined by.

[up] For Corrine and Gwynn, Evelyn Wang is a first-generation Chinese immigrant to America. Balto is a sleddog who helped transport antitoxins during an epidemic. Old Yeller and Travis Coates are a boy and dog duo whose story ended tragically. Elsa and Anna are close sisters. Hitori Gotoh struggles with anxiety on a daily basis, especially of the social kind. Homare Kagayaki/Cure Etoile is a figure skater.

For Kakashi, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Lisa Lisa are mentors. Yuri Nakamura feels Survivor's Guilt for being the Sole Survivor of her siblings. Flyora and the Animorphs are child soldiers. Mei Misaki has a special eye that allows her to sense death. Son Gohan is noted to have a lot of talent, but he still has to regularly work hard to keep it sharp. Sayori suffers from depressive and suicidal thoughts and even takes her own life at the end of Act 1. Nagash is a necromancer.

Regarding Marco's stepmom Nora, I don't think it's a simple hate of her and more from just the fact that It's Complicated. Everyone thinks his birth mother Eva was dead, but only he and the Animorphs knew that she was still alive as Visser One's host. While she was eventually rescued and freed, sometime along the way, the stepmom got infested, and the war getting serious and open means the Animorphs had to get their parents out to safety. Marco was ruthless enough to claim that Nora was a spy the whole time just to keep his father from trying to find a way to save her.

I am doing the Skarloey Railway Engines profile but I am having trouble with the images it was suggested that I do a collage image of the six book engines but I lack the technology to do it so I put the images in notes but I don't know what I did wrong because I was trying to put each note in their own caption box.

Hey, does any deity currently have the trope Resistant to Magic? I want to nominate Ushiromiya Battler to be the god of the trope.

In Umineko, Battler is a member of the super-rich Ushiromiya family but hasn't seen them in 6 years out of anger at his father remarrying so fast after his mother died. He reunites with them during a family conference at the family mansion on the island of Rokkenjima. However, the reunion is disturbed by the series of murders by the Golden Witch Beatrice, who claimed that they were done via magic. Battler challenges this and denies that she is a witch, starting a game of logic, magic, and love.

One of Battler's greatest assets in his battles against witches is his innately high magic resistance, which is 999,999,999 and above even mythological gods. This formidable magic resistance, known as "Endless Nine", allows him to ignore nearly all magic attacks thrown at him, no matter their nature. It's apparently a hereditary trait, as his grandfather Kinzo also had a high resistance to magic.

[up] Not taken so [tup]

While long pages aren't as worrisome now, I also want to request either moving Miles Quaritch to Tyrannical Figures (colonialism and imperialism is generally associated with tyranny), or to delete the profile. The main reason I am considering deleting the profile is that Evil Colonialist doesn't seem too accurate to describe him, considering what the goals of his organization is from a quick glance. Perhaps someone else interested in the film could rework and merge him into a profile for the RDA in general under a more suitable trope.

[down] Unfortunately haven't even watched the movies so I don't think I'm best suited for a rework for the RDA

[up]Go ahead. I would actually appreciate it if you wanna rework Avatar profiles as I made them before they even announced the sequel

I have an idea for the treasury

  • The Tablet of Ahkmenrah: an idea I have for the treasury. The tablet is a crucial item in the Night of the Museum film series, in that it is the reason why the museum exhibits come to life at night. It was originally created so his family might live beyond death, allowing for their mummies to resurrect, but anything based on a living thing can come to life and even share memories if based on a person like Theodore Roosevelt

Since the Super Costume Clothier trope is over a month old now, I would like to propose a trope change for Edna Mode, who currently has the not as fitting Always Camp trope, to the Super Costume Clothier trope.

Reason: Making costumes for superheroes in particular is both her main job and passion, and her character revolves around the role. She even designs around their powers and is always passionate around certain costume topics, including capes. Her character appropriately fits the Eccentric Fashion Designer and Gadgeteer Genius archetypes to work with it.
