Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3 means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4 is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5 is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4 is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
- Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
- Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- Preparing to write:
- First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles:
Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.
Template for Treasure profiles:
The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
- Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
- Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
- Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
- Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
- Domains: Things that the item has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

So what do you guys think about a Kazunori Yamauchi and Dan Greenawalt?
Their profile is not bad but it's not good either. Plus it's a shared profile, which we are trying to remove and i think those are the main devs behind the games? Aren't there actual characters from a racing game that could take Racing Game?
Uni cat@ Whirl: I think The Wikia Editor made the better case for Aesir. Discord is fine just having Mix-and-Match Critter with World of Chaos becoming a dominion
Anyone interested in finding something for Asajj Ventress? Or the Clone Wars in general?
@Muundeis I'd like to clarify that I said he's the "generic monster", not a "generic evil monster". I don't think he can really be categorized with labels as simple as "good" or "evil", both because there are just too many different incarnations and interpretations of him with a range of different personalities and moralities, but more importantly because to do so would be to undermine what he represents: Fear and the unknown.
With that said, though, that does make him extremely flexible as a character, so I'm sure I could work Doomsday in there somewhere if you want (I honestly think that if I wanted to, I could probably give him some relationship with every character in the pantheon. Obviously I'm not going to do that, though, cuz that'd take a stupid amount of time). Doomsday is sort of a neutral-type, too, or at least started out that way (and yes, I realize his alignment in the pantheon is Chaotic Evil, which I'm not necessarily arguing since he's had some development since his famous debut). When he started out, he was like a tarrasque from D&D. He wasn't truly malevolent, because he wasn't intelligent enough to make that choice. He was evil in the same way a tornado is evil.
I agree. Discord is just a really good example of Mix-and-Match Critter, in my opinion. To start with, it's really hard to find named characters for that trope that aren't just generic monsters or science experiments, and you can tell just from looking at him that he's got way more animals than most other examples.

In another few hours, the sun will rise.I'm just patiently waiting for Bogeyman to be done since one of the Strange Man games is called The Boogieman after all.
Now i bring up another question, anyone here knows about Megaman Legends? I feel Tron Bonne and the Servbots could be merged into a single profile is a suitable trope is found.
Uni catWhat should I add to Roll?
Roll, Goddess of Robot Maids (DLN-002, Roll Light)
- House: Social and Recreational Work (House of Profession), Robotics and Machinery (House of Technology)
- Demigoddess (Lesser Goddess in one Mega Man scenario, possibly Intermediate in some settings)
- Symbol: Her broom
- Theme Song: Kaze yo Tsutaete
- Alignment: Neutral Good
- Portfolio: Robot Kid, Robot Maid, Nice Girls, Inherited Her Father's Mechanical Skills, The Chick, Ambiguous Feelings For Mega Man, Being Powerful In Other Adaptations, possible Lethal Joke Character, The Smurfette Principle
- Domains: Robotics, Kindness, Sisters, Caretakers, Maids, Crossover Games
- High Priestess: Rosie the Robot
- Allies:
- From her world: Rock/Mega Man (her twin brother), Dr Light (her father), Proto Man, X, Cut Man, Galaxy Man (her other brothers), Zero, Dr Cossack
- Elsewhere: Sonic, Amy, Cream the Rabbit and their friends, Android 17 and 18, Carl and Ada Clover, Luxanna Crownguard, Astro Boy, Baymax, George, Professor Utonium, Winry Rockbell
- Enemies:
- Avoids: Bob
- Creeped out by: Mana Ouma, Belarus, The Terraformars, ZONE
- Unknown opinion: Bass
- DLN-002, given the name Roll, was one of the first Robot Masters ever created. The twin of Rock/Mega Man, while her brother became a hero to fight off Dr Wily's efforts she remained the housekeeper and Robot Maid her brother used to be. Over time, she would inherit her father/creator's knack for technology and be an important ally for Mega Man.
- Was the only known female Robot Master until the creation of Splash Woman. Her role's increased, and has proven a rather popular Robot Master. She's a lot more combat capable in the Ruby Spears cartoon, and a Lethal Joke Character in Marvel vs Capcom games.
- Very close to her brother Mega Man. As such, she likes close siblings like Androids 17 and 18, or Carl and Ada Clover, and devoted sisters like Luxanna Crownguard. Some have suggested that her closeness to Mega Man isn't so innocent. She doesn't like it when anyone points it out or exaggerates this. Roll is creeped out by Mana Ouma and Belarus' obsession with their brothers.
- Ice Man seems to have a thing for her. This is despite being created by the same person. Some people like to ship her with Bass for some reason, or just because she's not related to him.
- Seems to enjoy tinkering with machines, assisting with annual maintenance and Auto's item/support shop. She gets along with Winry Rockbell due to their love of machinery and cheery, friendly personality. Isn't a fan of cockroaches, so the Terraformas are pretty scary to her.
- Friendly towards Baymax as he's a benevolent helper robot. She quickly recognized the similarities between her brother and Astro Boy, who she quickly befriended. She still roots for her brother when they spar, though one scenario had Astro Boy win. Of course, they could always rebuild Mega Man.
- Is also friendly towards Professor Utonium, since she reminds him of her own father. Given her value towards family, she hates Relius Clover even if she can't attack him due to both the laws of robotics and lack of proper weaponry. She doesn't like Ultron for completely violating said laws of robotics.
- Even if she is the main character, do not mention the Brazilian Mega Man comic around her. For various reasons. It's given her a hatred of anyone trying to lewd her, which is why she's creeped out by ZONE and the idea of her making aged-up lewds of her.
- She initially didn't like hanging out with Bob and George as she tends to become irritable and foul-mouthed in their presence. However hanging around them longer has led to her appreciating the depiction as an Action Girl, and has become friendly with George. Not with Bob, though.
How does she get along with evil robots and AI in the house of Technology?

In another few hours, the sun will rise.@ Pai Chan: Regarding the bit about Project × Zone, she actually joined in on both occasions due to being present in the first and second game. Just a small correction. otherwise.
@ RJ: Off duty Guardians, when given the opportunity in the dead of night, also join in with the Dancing Skeletons. Despite their looks, they're actually liches. Of course, the Guardians who wield Solar abilities are mindful to hide them when accompanying them. Also, could you perhaps add something for Squigly, Héctor, and Ember McLain?
For Roll, be sure to mention the time she came down with Roboenza virus. As such, she doesn't appreciate any viruses capable of affecting robots and is especially cautious with anything involving the Infested. Given that Wily was behind the creation of Roboenza, Roll wouldn't like anyone actively making them.
@ faso: I think there was someone who new Legends, but they're not active here anymore.
All my fault, you say...? What fault? I daresay it's all thanks to me.I got this page called GUAE Groups. Who else do you think would best fit in that page? So far I got Talon from Overwatch, and the Homunculi.
Another thing: I've been looking at the trope Blaming The Railroaded Player Character. I immediately thought of Cpt. Walker, but he already has Protagonist Journey to Villain. Personally, I'm not sure if that really fits him; to me, it's more of him becoming delusional than anything. An example I would pick was if the Protagonist became knowingly evil or corrupted or something. Permission to change his title?

TV Tropes Pantheon Group Members DatabaseFew more ideas. What do you guys approve of?
- Gatta, God of Plant-Animal Hybrids (House of Plants, True Neutral)-in life a cat, his Stand led him to be reborn in a flower after he was buried in the ground.
- Hob Gadling, God of Enjoying Immortality (House of Forms of Immortality, True Neutral)-a 14th century Brit given immortality because Death didn't feel like claiming him, he's lived centuries and gone through various tribulations, but even after everything, even the death of the one constant in his life, he still has no intention of giving it up
- SCP-811, Goddess of Vomiting -"Swamp Woman" is an Ugly Cute monster girl who gets prey and attacks by vomiting
- Tara Markov, Goddess of Late Arrival Spoilers -the fact that Tara Markov aka Terra was The Mole was an enormous reveal. That was in the 1980s. Now pretty much everyone knows
@Yugi: ...Yeah. Well, I got no energy to refute so you win. That was a reckless suggestion.
Switching gears for a moment, I have ideas from a webseries called Madness Combat. I have loved it for a long time and tell me if they're good or not.
- Hank J. Wimbleton, God of Round Spectacles and/or Fingerless Gloves Reasoning: Both accessories are part of his Iconic Outfit from Consternation onwards.
- Tricky the Clown, God of Weaponized Unusual Objects Reasoning: His Weapon Of Choice is a stop sign, and he used it either like a staff/bludgeon, javelin or a semblance of a spear when swung in a certain way.
Other suggestions for the tropes are welcome.

Next time on Dr. Phil Straddles The Border...I found this Archie Comics crossover with Sharknado. Any interactions between Fin Shepard and Archie and co.?
Also, apparently the new Carmen Sandiego series is just an Origin Story, which means we'll probably see her eventually turn to the one known classically and betray the Player or something like that.
Well, he may fit, but so can others. As for Blaming The Railroaded Player Character, I can't find any other candidates besides Born, John, or reworking Tales!Luke.

TV Tropes Pantheon Group Members DatabaseI would say to keep Walker’s trope. The game did an excellent job portraying him as a protagonist well, not to mention, he convinced himself in his mind that he is a hero, when in reality he wasn’t. Then he slowly turns into the very thing he sworn to remove from Dubai.
I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!...So, I totally forgot I am doing these. Mind if you guys help me out and put in some suggestions I can add in to these two folders? All suggestions welcomed!
The Exile, High Prophetess of the Prodigal Child's Return (Meetra Surik, the Jedi Exile)
- Potential House: Heroic Archetypes
- Theme Song: "The Jedi Enclave"
- Rank: Greater Goddess

- Lately in the Pantheon Courts, there has been an ongoing conversation about getting representation for an certain trope that tends to occur in media in all of its different forms; specifically, the time when one, regardless of alignment, making their (usually epic and world-shaking) return to a place after a great amount of time. With is occurring so many times, it was decided that a representative should be chosen.
- After much debate, a particularly out of left field suggestion was thrown in: the Exile, a an disgraced Jedi Knight from four millennia (or, to be precise, 3,951 years) ago who was cast out of the Order due to her (understandable) war crimes, particularly her part in ordering the destruction of Malachor V and ending the Mandalorian Wars. A decade after being banished for her crimes, the Exile returned to defeat the Sith threat that has nearly eradicated that era's Jedi Order before rebuilding and resurrecting it through the efforts of her disciples. Seeing her actions and situation, the Courts have seen the Exile as the perfect representative of this trope, which led to her ascension into the Pantheon

- Conflicting Opinion: Yoda
- It was an average day in the Pantheon, when it happened. Hovering over ALL of the Houses, came the image of an masked man, completely confounded everyone who saw him. Before anyone could do anything about it, Yoda came out of his usual spot and whispers out an sentence that completely shook the Pantheon down into its very foundation:
Yoda: At last...arrived you have, Revan.
- There has been alot of speculation of what his past is, but it is generally confirmed that he's from the Outer Rim before he was taken in by the Jedi. Growing to become one of the most talented Jedi to ever be in the Order, he left it along with his friend Alek to fight against the savagery the Mandalorians, inspiring many others to do the same. After winning the war and going off to find the true mastermind behind the war, Revan returned to the Republic as the Dark Lord of the Sith to wage war against the Republic. However, one incident during a fight on his personal ship, Darth Malak (formerly Alek) shoots down his ship from a distance, knocking Revan out. Saved by his future wife, Bastila Shan, and turned into the Jedi Council, where his memory was wiped and became a Jedi student once again. While under his new identity to stop Malak with his weird choice of a crew, during which he recovers his true identity before stopping his former apprentice once and for all.
Hmm...We Do the Impossible is open. How would Nobuna Oda look for the post? Aside from Yoshiharu, Nobuna also pulls this off on a regular basis.
The One Who Crosses The Sky In FlamesReminder: Try to not force a candidate for a trope. Let it come naturally, otherwise bad profiles are made.
@Muundeis I think Jax has Improbable Weapon User.
Edit: Or not, looks like the trope is free

- It was a normal day in the Pantheon when Razzil Darkbrew was experimenting with a small selection of chemicals that was provided to him by fellow gods, until someone reported an angry bull charging directly at Razzil's position, knocking bystanders away. Razzil and his ogre friend was confused, until they remembered that a certain dire hero was still charging at them when their last battle ended. Though they fled, the bull caught up to them and repeatedly stunned and bashed them until they fell off the nearby cliff. The alchemist and his ogre survived the nasty fall, but it was clear to the Defenders of the Ancients who the attacker was. It was the Spirit Breaker, who had charged across entire planes and dimensions just to get back at the Alchemist for beating him in the aforementioned battle.
- There are few things that can keep up with the Spirit Breaker while he's charging. One of them is Rubick if he steals his charge, another is Bloodseeker when he smells enough blood... and yet another is a homing missile.

- While Freddy was initially the sole representative of Show Within a Show, being the one responsible for the technical aspects of iCarly, many deities found it odd that Carly, Sam, and Gibby were absent, considering that they are the face of the show. It was then decided that the remaining iCarly members would ascend and share the title of Show Within a Show with Freddy.
- The group stays far away from the House of Love, considering how obsessed their fanbase is with shipping them with each other.
- On a similar note, they would much rather not talk about the period when Freddie and Sam dated.
- They were happy to find fellow live-action Nick deities Ned Bigby and Big Time Rush were also present in the Pantheon. They're always happy to make guest appearances on their show, with Big Time Rush performing a song at the end of some of their episodes and Ned hosting a segment where he gives advice on how to survive school life.
- Gru's daughters are huge fans of iCarly. And while he would rather not admit it, Gru does find the show to be enjoyable, mainly because of how much Carly reminds him of Margo.
- Unsurprisingly, the team are fans of many YouTube deities, namely Pyrocynical and Ethan and Hilda Klein, with the four of them even guest staring on the H3H3 Podcast.
- After dealing with their fair share of Corrupt Corporate Executives, they want nothing to do with people like Mr. Burns, Morris, and Looten Plunder. The same can be said for Annie Welkes, who is eerily similar to Nora Dershlit, another obsessive, sociopathic Loony Fan that trapped the iCarly team in her house twice.
- Exclusive to Carly:
- As The Heart of iCarly, Carly is more or less the sole reason why Sam and Freddie haven't killed each other yet. Between the tension between her friends, the shenanigans of her non-ascended older brother, and the general craziness that happens in her life, it's impressive that she's able to keep up a regularly cheerful demeanor...most of the time.
- When Kanji Tatsumi learned that Carly made fun of her "bad boy" boyfriend, Griffin, for collecting cute stuffed animals and showed relief when he rightfully broke up with her, he only had this to say to the girl:
Kanji: You know, people like you really piss me off. You just left this Griffin kid just 'cause there was something that ruined that "bad boy" image he had. You think just 'cause people like me enjoy cute stuff, that makes me less of a man? You ever consider that there might have been more to that kid than just being a troublemaker? Of course you didn't. 'Cause you didn't give a shit about him. You didn't wanna know more about him. You just wanted to get your kicks from living out some fantasy of being with a bad boy until you got bored and moved on to the next guy. Go on, tell me I'm wrong. Yeah, that's what I thought. Grow up, Shay.- After getting over Kanji's seemingly out of nowhere take down of her, Carly was surprised to learn about the phenomenon that was the brony community and how normally they were treated. She has since tried to make amends with him.
- Carly felt somewhat uncomfortable around the presence of Pac-Man, due to his games reminding her of Pac-Rat, an arcade game that her brother got addicted to to the point of endangering his livelihood.
- To this day, she has no idea why some Nick deities mistakenly refer to her as Megan.
- Exclusive to Sam:
- Sam was initially apart of the pantheon, alongside her roommate, Cat Valentine, as goddesses of crossover Spin-Offs. However, they were kicked out after realizing that "crossover spinoff" wasn't an actual trope. Being Sam, she had to get dragged out by at least three guards. While Sam's glad to be back, she's sad that Cat couldn't ascend with her. At the very least, Cat can still hangout in the pantheon with Sam as a herald of the group.
- Ironically enough, Sam often butts heads with the other Nick deity named Sam, Sam Manson. The former detests the later for being what she describes as a "self-righteous emo killjoy with a stick up her ass that always has to be right". Meanwhile, Sam Manson can't stand how rude and irresponsible she is, as well as how her misdeeds are rarely acknowledged. Not to mention her obsession with meat. Sam Puckett responded by eating a handful of bacon right in front of her. Most Gods find their animosity for each other amusing due to the two of them being controversial for very similar reasons.
- Gets along well with Jimmy Hopkins due to the both of them simultaneously being bullies and Bully Hunters. They can also relate to having Disappeared Dads.
- Sam also rubs elbows with Sokka and Rolf over their shared love of meat.
- While Sam is very much guilty of Double Standard: Abuse, Female on Male in her interactions with Freddy, even she thinks that the Kanker Sisters take their abuse of the Eds a step too far.
- Exclusive to Freddie:
- Despite only being a Quasideity, Freddie may very well be one of the most skilled technological experts in the Pantheon, as demonstrated through his ability to keep audio of each video near perfect while moving around in a wood-floored room of a 1930s apartment building, as well as his ability to hide a camera in just about anything and maintain a streaming video uplink in almost any conditions short of total power outage. Needless to say, he's gained the interest of the House of Technology.
- On top of his technological skills, Freddie is also surprisingly skilled in fencing; a curse that's been passed down through his family known as "The Fencin' Bensons".
- Of the group, he is easily the most annoyed by his show's infamous shipping wars, not only because he's pretty much shipped with everyone, but he constantly gets asked whether he loves Carly or Sam. This has earned him sympathy from Zuko.
- In contrast to Sam Puckett and Sam Manson, Freddy gets along very well with Tucker Foley due to their shared love of and expertise in technology. The same goes for him and Liz Lemon, whom he can relate to for often being the team's Only Sane Employee.
- Exclusive to Gibby:
- Many deities were surprised to find out that Gibby was a pretty capable fighter, as demonstrated when he fought off a crazy iCarly fan that was keeping his friends captive in her house. That said, it doesn't stop them from joking about the time that Gibby fucking died.
- He is one of the few deities that genuinely enjoys Sheldon Cooper's company; even if Gibby can barely follow what he's saying most of the time. It may be because of how he reminds him of the guy from the future that he helped to escape from a mental institution.
- Despite what some may think, women apparently can't get enough of Gibby, with him regularly seen with a pretty girl. When asked just how he's able to woo so many girls, he simply shrugged and said he was a charmer. Kyu, meanwhile, sees Gibby as a shining example of how anyone can pick-up girls if they're skilled enough. Kyu would also be lying if she said she weren't turned-on by his confidence.
What music sub-house should the Dancing Skeletons go in?
The Dancing Skeletons, Deities of Dancing Undead and Xylobones
- House: TBA (House of Music) and Unliving Beings (House of Undead)
- Demigods
- Symbol: Femurs hitting ribcages
- Alignment: True Neutral
- Portfolio: Dem Bones, Mime and Music-Only Cartoon, Just Want To Have Fun Though Some Are Pricks, The Dead Can Dance, Xylophones for Walking Bones, Uses Their Bones As Instruments, Rubber Hose Bones, Mickey Mousing
- Domains: Cartoons, Skeletons, Comedy, Dancing, Music, Bones
- Allies: Jack Skellington, Sans and Papyrus, Lord Death, Death(Regular Show), Grim, Hector, Ember McClain, Brook, Karthus, Amigo, Lord Raptor, Marceline Abadeer
- On good terms with: Night-related deities (Princess Luna, Nightmare Moon, Selene, Nox)
- Enemies: Nekron and the Grand United Alliance of Destruction, The Grand Duke of Owls, Dhuum, Chernabog
- Avoids: Deities who control the day
- During the day, the dead stay in their graves. But during the night, the skeletons get out of their grave and dance. They can use their bones in playful manners, most notably ribcages as makeshift xylophones. These spooky scary skeletons were the first of the Silly Symphonies.
- Though they appeared in a short and never spoke, their charm and merriment was an iconic moment in animation. It's actually a reference to the danse macabre. They were very happy to learn there was another skeletal entertainer, Brook, in the House of Music. The skeletons now serve as Brook's back-up singers.
- Stand up for the argument that "dead lives matter" and Dark Is Not Evil. They work to give the undead a better name, and perform for living deities that enter. Sans and Papyrus consider them to be really fun and have joined them in the dance. Only during the night however, as during the day they sleep.
- As they are only active during the night, they avoid any day-related deity. Instead, they prefer to be under the cover of night and moon-related deities. The big exception to this is Chernabog, who's own views on ghoulish entertainment is corruption and acts of evil. He betrays the night, in their eyes.
- They don't like Nekron, and Nekron doesn't like them. Nekron is of the belief that death is a silence and peace that all must undergo, and finds the Dancing Skeletons to be an insult to death. The Dancing Skeletons in turn see Nekron as a cosmic killjoy who gives the undead a bad name, and they don't want everyone to die. They are afraid his herald might control them with his Black Lantern powers, though even Black Hand sometimes joins in with their merriment. He actually seems to like them.
- Some of the evil undead do get along with the Dancing Skeletons, such as Lord Raptor who loves rocking out with them. Of course, this could be because some of the skeletons are assholes like one who used a cat as a violin. Karthus' positive attributes are shown whenever he hangs out with them, treating them with the upmost respect. Sometimes they get to come to Pentakill concerts.
- Jack Skellington was the exact kind of "skele-bro" they were fond of. He's an excellent host, and they feel at home in Halloweentown. Unlike Nekron, reapers Lord Death, Grim and the Death of Regular Show enjoyed them. Dhuum, on the other hand, hates the fact that they're undead and don't just stay in their graves like everyone who died is supposed to(according to him, of course).
- Don't like owls, as they tend to spook them. One of them threw their skull at an owl to get it to quit hooing. The Grand Duke of Owls spooked many of them, and while they do like the idea of a night that never ends they don't like the idea of an evil owl bringing it forth.
- Marceline has joined in their fun, and introduced rock and roll. Being from 1929 it wasn't something they knew about, but it was something that really caught on with them. As did Amigo, who livened up the place. Jack O'Lantern tried to get in, but they had already sided with Jack Skellington and opposed his efforts. Also, his pranks were pretty cruel, though some of them thought they were Actually Pretty Funny. Hector and Ember McClain
- Off duty Guardians, when given the opportunity in the dead of night, also join in with the Dancing Skeletons. Despite their looks, they're actually liches. Of course, the Guardians who wield Solar abilities are mindful to hide them when accompanying them

- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork With: Venom.
- Enemies:
- Opposes: Felicia Hardy/Black Cat.
- Opposed by: J. Jonah Jameson (only as Spider-Man similar to his mentor Peter Parker).
- In a different universe existed a young teen named Miles Morales who looked up to his world's Peter Paker as a hero. He never imagined himself being a Spider-Man just like his hero until Peter was sadly killed in battle with Norman Osborn. Being bitten just like Peter, the young teen decided to accept the mantle as the Ultimate Universe's new Spider-Man.
- Unlike the 616 Peter Parker or even his 1610 counterpart Miles wasn't as famous at the beginning of his new heroic life. Even managing to fire off webbing was a difficult task for him to do along with the other inexperiences he has in fighting crime while keeping his identity secret from the public. Unfortunately for Miles his universe soon fell apart during a huge universal event leaving his homeworld in a state that he couldn't stay in. Still, the new Spider-Man had found his way into the 616 universe where he continues to fight evil before heading to school.
- While having a similar arrangement of moves to Peter there are some differences with Miles such as his Venom Strike that is a powerful electrical blast capable of hurting symbiotes like Venom living up to the namesake along with becoming invisible to the naked eye.
- Peter was more than ecstatic upon seeing his friend at least ascend into the Pantheon calling up his "Avenging" buddies for a huge celebration. After crying tears of joy at knowing his mentor was proud of the man, he'd grown into Miles told him all sorts of stories about his young crime-fighting career.
- Gwen Stacy of Earth-65 was also thrilled to see a fellow Spider-Man here while he wondered how she might feel about their current relationship considering the last time they were together before Morlun and the Inheritors were causing trouble they actually had kissed. Gwen felt it was better if they were friends for now, but couldn't deny that they might end up in a "tree" again someday.
- Several of Spider-Man's rogues' gallery was not happy about the new Spider-Man entering the Pantheon. Among them, Norman and Fisk were at the top of Miles' list for the acts they committed in his universe along with the Green Goblin killed his world's Peter or in a different reality it was actually Kingpin himself. As for the Black Cat, while she claims to have turned over a new leaf, his past encounters with the former "Kingpin" left him in doubt about her being anything but a selfish criminal.
- Miles also knew about the other superheroine named "Spinnerette" in the Pantheon, since unlike the alternate version of Mary Jane Watson Heather Brown was more willing to hurt criminals rather than keep them in "good health" like Peter or Miles, but Heather made it clear she had no choice when dealing with a certain kind of villain named Colonel Glass. Unlike other villains from her own set of villains he not only was utterly psychotic, but the fact he hurt many people with both his actions and power was something she couldn't allow to continue, but after the tragic story behind that conflict the duo knew they were essentially on the same side of fighting against injustice.
- Kamala and Cho wondered how long it was gonna take for their friend to arrive, since they wanted to assemble more of the Champions team. Also, the three of them couldn't wait to read more fanfics Kamala would create about the many crossovers they all could have in the several houses of the Pantheon.
- Of course, the Marvel universe weren't the only ones ecstatic about Miles Morales as Virgil Hawkins/Static and Jefferson Pierce/Black Lightning wondered how good this new spider was as he had several things in common the DC heroes like themselves.
- The symbiote isn't happy whenever Miles is around not only for having a problem with both the substance and some of its hosts but also due to the signature move used by this Spider-Man being named after it. It might be the reason why it never could bond with Miles Morales.
- Terry McGinnis felt like Miles was a kindred spirit to himself considering his own relationship with Bruce and taking up the mantle of Batman in his time period, even if he found Miles to still have a lot to learn in his superhero career like himself. As for Miles, his dream to one day hang out with the rest of the Batfamily was something the future Batman couldn't help but smile at.
- Steven loves Miles and his own version of the Spider-Man outfit finding the colors to be quite spectacular. Also, the reincarnated Rose Quartz had to get used to learning about his own powers and abilities just like the Ultimate Spider-Man.
- He gets along quite well with the Inklings and Beat as they all love to spray around colorful paint, but Miles prefers tagging some houses with graffiti artwork over using a paint roller.
- "I'm Miles Morales, Spider-Man. And I've never been more sure of my power. But I've never been more confused about my responsibility".

Mileena MadnessRepost for the Bogeyman.
The Bogeyman, God of Things That Go "Bump" in the Night (The Boogerman, Bugbear, Bug-a-boo, The Sack/Bag Man, El Coco, Babau, Butzemann, and numerous other spellings, names, and titles all over the world)
- Potential House: Fear
- : 1 (WeirdWarrior)
- Rank: Nobody Knows, and Nobody Wants To
- Symbol: A large sack, a closet, the darkness underneath a bed.
- Theme Song: Things That Go Bump In The Night and Hush, Hush, Hush, Here Comes the Bogeyman
- Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (merely an approximation based on his variable and inconsistent behavior)
- Portfolio: Our Monsters Are Different/Weird, Anthropomorphic Personification, Karmic Trickster, Peek-a-Bogeyman, Sometimes Eating Children, The Unseen, All Fear Tropes
- Domains: Fear, Paranoia, Closets, Beds, Darkness
- Allies: Considers all deities who feel and/or cause fear to be his allies, whether directly or indirectly.
- Enemies: Has no personal enemies on his part. Everyone who feels and/or causes fear is his ally, and as far as he's concerned, those few that don't are beneath his notice.
- Friendly Rival: Diablo (at least as friendly as Diablo can be)
- Respected by: Five Nights at Freddy's animatronics, and most beings in the house of Otherness and Fear
- Mutual Respect: Horror Writers, especially Stephen King and H.P. Lovecraft
- Fears: Chuck Norris
- Complicated Relationship with: Pitch Black, Oogie Boogie, and Baba Yaga
- Not To Be Confused With: Other deities who have used his names, such as Michael Myers and John Wick
- Opposed by: Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan and the the Ghostbusters, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Alice Liddell
- (Usually) Opposes: Evil and Chaotic-aligned children.
- The Bogeyman has been a part of the pantheon since the very beginning, but no one realized because he had another deity, Balanar, representing him at first. For presently unknown reasons, he has chosen to dispose of Balanar and make his presence known directly.
- One of, if not the, most mysterious beings to exist in the pantheon. Very little is definitely known about him. Everyone who has ever seen him has a different idea of what he looks like. Billy and Mandy claim he looks like a green goblin man while The Powerpuff Girls claim he's a blue humanoid who likes dancing. Some say that he's a coward who can be beaten by pouring salt on his tail and others still claim that none of these are correct, and the truth is something else entirely. One thing is for certain, though: If you've been told that the only thing there is to fear is fear itself, then you've been told to fear him.
- No one knows what his temple looks like. No one wants to know.
- Some youths have said they've seen the Boogeyman in their bedrooms, usually hiding in the closet or under their beds. They have described being forced to use a flashlight to ward him off as he tried to enter their home through various means, including the window, the bedroom door, the ventilation (a skill rumored to have been acquired by studying the FNAF deities), and, of course, the closet and under the bed. Some children have even mysteriously disappeared, only to be found the next day, shaken and traumatized, and either unwilling to or incapable of describing what happened. Mike and Sully are highly against this, as at its best it's what Monsters Inc was doing wrong, except done maliciously rather than because they thought they had to. They've recruited the Ghostbusters to help them put a stop to it.
- Has also begun hiding underneath parked cars, waiting to slash the ankles of people unfortunate enough to own the automobile before dragging them down underneath the car. Why he does this and what he does to his unlucky victims is unknown.
- Despite all this, he is every bit as likely to simply appear out of nowhere, scream, and laugh as his victim(s) run away at his terrifying appearance. He is the trope namer, after all.
- Works well with other fear icons, such as Freddie Krueger and Michael Myers. The FNAF deities admire him, as their methods are similar, to the point that some have theorized that he was somehow responsible for their creation. Spooky practically worships the ground he walks on (assuming he walks on the ground), seeing as how he's the scary monster.
- Speaking of which, he gets along with most monsters in the pantheon, regardless of their alignment. Even Mike and Sully feel like they have to respect him even as they are opposed to him. Indeed, he's appreciated by most deities in the house of Otherness, as he represents the fear of the unknown that makes most of them scary. One notable exception is Casper the Friendly Ghost, who sees that same fear as the main obstacle in harmony between disparate beings.
- Alice is opposed to him because she holds that he takes the very thing she presides over, the power of imagination, and twists it into something loathsome. The Bogeyman is unconcerned about her animosity, despite the fact that she theoretically has incredible power over him, but did feel the need to clarify one thing she was mistaken about.
"I do not 'twist imagination' in any way. I am part of it, as it is part of me. Fear is the price of imagination. I exist to ensure that debt is paid."
- This unnerved everyone, both because of how much sense it made, but also because until then nobody knew he could talk.
- Not only can he talk, he can read as well. He keeps a personal library of books that is quite extensive, containing numerous horror-related stories, including The Cremation of Sam McGee, The Fall of Silas Galloway, and... How The Grinch Stole Christmas?
- Has strong regard for horror writers, and they recognize him as an iconic horror figure, especially Stephen King, who once wrote a compelling short story with him as the subject. H.P. Lovecraft is also a notable devotee, as the being embodies the vagueness that fuels most of his stories. The Bogeyman, in return, keeps a number of Lovecraft's stories in his collection.
- Diablo, who feeds off fear, tried to associate himself with the Bogeyman, even offering him a spot among "The Satanic Spirits of Pure Evil" seeing as he's sometimes used as a metaphor for The Devil. The Bug-a-boo wasn't really interested in joining, as, despite often doing terrible, horrific things, he's far too ambiguous to qualify as "pure evil". Both respect each other as powerful representations of Fear, but secretly have disdain for the other's methods. Diablo believes the Bogeyman is too indirect and focused, while the bugbear feels he's too obvious and destructive, though neither is a slouch in the other's department. Of course, what neither one realizes is that these opposing methods make them the perfect team. They don't work together often, but when they do, run.
- Finds Doomsday an excellent ally for his extraordinary capacity to produce panic in otherwise invulnerable superheroes, though he actually prefers when Doomsday is intelligent, as only then can he use Doomsday's own fears against him.
- One of the few aspects of his personality that remains relatively consistent is that he enjoys punishing children who are naughty. What he considers "naughty" can be variable, ranging from the genuinely sinister to those who are disobedient for good reasons. His punishments are equally erratic, sometimes simply scaring them silly, and other times gobbling them up. Why he does this is, like most things about him, unknown.
- Some deities have alleged to have spotted him (well, they assume it's him, anyway) as a man carrying around a large sack or bag. No one who's seen him this way has had the heart to ask the Man with the Sack/Bag what's inside it, but they do all note that it's always just big enough to hold a number of small children...
- On that note, he's not associated in any way with the God of Level Creation.
- No one's sure what his relationships with Pitch Black, Oogie Boogie, and Baba Yaga are. Are they rivals, partners, the same individual using different forms? Nobody knows for sure, and none of them is inclined to talk.
- Once received a request to fight in the Pantheon Wrestling Federation. He showed up, frightening everyone, revealing that they had mistaken him for someone else. Needless to say, they never made that mistake ever again.
- Although he doesn't particularly mind being called any of his myriad of names, one should take heed to not call him "Boogerman" in reference to a certain videogame character. Earthworm Jim made that mistake once, thinking he wouldn't know. It didn't end well. The Bogeyman always knows.
- Is only afraid of one deity in the entire pantheon. When the Bogeyman goes to sleep at night, he checks under his bed for Chuck Norris.

@Miles: That extreme measure Spinnerette did was just ONE time only. The villain (named Colonel Glass) was someone who can manipulate glass, loved cutting up living things with them, worked for North Korea, and had nearly (or actually) killed so many people, including her fellow superheroes, one of which was suffering from ALS (and was her girlfriend). It was the only way to deal with him. Otherwise, she's an average superhero, and even has some PTSD from what she did. Peruse the Spinnerette characters page here, fix that, and you'll get my .
