Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

  • Wary Of: Oddly enough, Jane Marple
  • Conflicting Opinion: Swiper the Fox, Kurapika
  • Complicated Relationship with: The Men In Black, Conan the Barbarian, The Status Quo
  • Formerly a renowned teenage detective, Shinichi Kudo was nicknamed the 'Heisei Holmes' by the press for his uncanny ability to solve cases that the police couldn't crack without even blinking. He was in good with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department and all the girls wanted him! Life was good. However, a trip to the Tropical Land amusement park with his close friend Ran would cause his life to take a dramatic left turn.
  • After solving a murder that just happened to take place on a roller-coaster, Shinichi saw a mysterious man in black extorting money from a businessman. He was promptly knocked out from behind and force-fed a poison designed to leave no traces behind. Spoiler alert: it left traces behind. Instead, it shrunk him down into a six-year old boy. One quick visit to his neighbour Professor Agasa's house later, he realised that he had to keep his identity secret lest the the men in black and whoever they work for finish him and whoever he loves for good. Of course, Ran found him and instantly took a liking to him, asking him what his name was. Conan came with his alias on the fly using the mystery author names Arthur Conan Doyle and Ranpo Edogawa and pretended to be one of Agasa's distant relatives. At the professor's suggestion, he took up residence with Ran in her father Kogoro's detective agency to look out for updates regarding the Organization, and the rest is history.
    • One would ask how Conan's sudden streak of solving crimes hasn't gained widespread media attention and the Organization's attention. Every time he finds the culprit to a murder or kidnapping case, he uses his wrist-watch tranquillizer needle gun to sedate Kogoro and a voice-altering bowtie to 'speak' as Kogoro reveals the culprit, their motive and how they carried out their plot. Hence, the legend of 'Sleeping Kogoro' was born, a magically intelligent persona of Kogoro that would manifest when he passed out from stress. Thanks to Conan, the formerly Clueless Detective is now a sensation. Whenever Kogoro isn't there, Conan just tranquillizes whoever is on the scene, like Ran's best friend Sonoko (aka Deduction Queen Sonoko).
  • He was ascended under very sketchy conditions. Professor Agasa received a letter informing Conan to report to the Janus Checkpoints the following noon for ascension. Believing it was some weird fanboy asking to meet Shinichi, Conan went with Heiji Hattori, who happened to be in Tokyo at the time as per the directions on the letter. They were admitted into the Pantheon rapidly under the trope Mystery Magnet with Heiji inadvertently being saddled as Conan's herald (initially).
    • Resolution: It turns out Black Organization member Vermouth had taken the initiative and written an anonymous letter of reference to the Court of the Gods, hoping to get Conan (who she knows is Shinichi) brought into an unfamiliar environment to see how her fellow operatives would track him down if and when they were ascending.
  • He was ascended under this trope because wherever he goes, be it on vacation, a camping trip, or a visit to Osaka, there's a case to solve, usually accompanied by a dead body (or several). Every time. Many superstitious parent deities are wary of having their children around him, should something bad happen to them as well.
  • In the beginning, Conan's temple was a small office-looking building with small tools to match for him to conduct investigations. When Ai Haibara, a close friend of his and formerly a scientist for the Black Organization and Ran ascended (with her father as a herald), he was relieved that he was no longer alone. Ran of course being Conan's de facto guardian, surprised that Conan had ascended before her, had her temple connected with Conan's via a portal. Nowadays, she rarely spends time in the sub-house of Sources of Information. A good thing too, since there are way more villainous forces (like Metatron) in there than the safer confines of the sub-house of Investigative Work.
    • With Ran's herald being Kogoro, Conan's temple was converted into a building identical to the Mouri Detective Agency, and the Sleeping Kogoro was back in business!
  • Considering Shinichi is in love with Ran, her status as his guardian and honorary big sister makes things very awkward for him: seeing her undress, bathing with her... Many snigger at how he nose-bleeds at the sight of it. Secondly, they also keep telling him to progress their relationship, blaming the plot and all its unnecessary complications for getting in the way of it. For example, Houki & Lingyin were at first displeased when learning about his relationship with Ran. Not for the fact that he doesn't tell her the truth (they understand that he worries about her safety) but the fact that he realized his feelings for Ran for a long time and still did not confess to her and bragging about how he was beloved by other girls. However, they let out a loud cheer when they learned that he spilled out his feelings to Ran during a case in London and the two are currently (sort of) "dating". Suffice to say, a lot of bickering ensued.
  • It's a whole other can of worms for the relationship between Conan and Haibara. She probably counts as Conan's closest friend besides Ran. When she ascended, Conan went to her in hopes of persuading her to use the many other antidotes in the Pantheon to more swiftly concoct a permanent one. He even suggested other experts on the matter in the Pantheon that can work with her. Haibara flat-out refused, insisting that she wants to work alone using her own methods and would do anything to keep Conan from stealing her prototype antidotes. She doesn't want him worsening the effects and resistance to her antidotes every single time he uses one, even if he uses the antidotes for "important emergencies", causing him to groan in disappointment and give up. Despite this, Conan visits her temple regularly to ensure her safety and that she has companionship. Unbeknownst to anybody, Ai once had romantic feelings for him. Keyword being once. She grew out of that phase. When he was informed of this in secret and how fans were shipping them for their many similarities, even clamouring for Ran's death, he was not happy.
Conan: All of you barous, knock it off. If you have such opinions, keep them to yourself. We're Just Friends. Me and Haibara. (grudging acknowledgement) You can ship me and Ran all you want, because it is true. But stop this toxic behaviour.
  • With Shinichi as Japan's 'Detective Of The East', the Osakan born-and-bred Heiji is 'Detective Of The West'. They got off on the wrong foot (i.e. Heiji intentionally made Conan drunk in his first appearance) but have since grown to become fast friends. Heiji still hasn't let up on his Friendly Rivalry with Shinichi. Everytime they have a battle of wits to crack a case, Shinichi just barely detects clues better than Heiji does. He's a bit pissed that he got saddled as Conan's herald and Number Two just because he went with him for his ascension, but doesn't show it. Instead, he serves as the guy who minds Conan in the Pantheon the most after Ran to maintain the illusion that he is a defenseless child, and might as well be his brother. Some cheeky deities have pointed one thing he excels at: he speaks the best English on record in the entire English-speaking cast, surpassing Conan and even Vermouth, who mind you is supposed to be an American actress! Once bragged about the entire matter to Conan in the Narumi Detective Agency, which led to a most hilarious session of Philip wanting to give them an English quiz to settle the matter.
    • Heiji is sometimes accompanied by Kazuha Toyama, his childhood best friend (you can see where this is going) and secret crush. She doesn't want to be here all that often, given how superstitious she is about spirits and ghosts. The House of Profession is only a few block down from the House of Undead, after all.
  • As for Shuichi Akai, Hidemi Hondou and Rei Furuya, he doesn't contact them often for fear of compromising their identities (and in the case of the latter two, his own). He does meet Shuichi as Subaru in passing in the local school, stealthily informing him when the Black Organization ascended. Currently, thanks to Conan, Shuichi is the head of the security detail around Haibara's temple. Not that she knows it exists. The two are prone to keeping secrets from each other to keep them safe from the Organization's wrath and prevent each other from taking risks. In the case of Rei, his status as the Black Organization operative tasked to confirm Shinichi's death poses a clear and present danger. Since he serves as Kogoro's apprentice in his homeworld, he is in extremely close proximity to him and Haibara. Rei is persevering to turn Shuichi over to the Organization to earn higher ranks and get closer to the Boss, so it's not a stretch to think that he would do the same with Conan if he knew his true identity. Even if it is to bring down the Organization, Conan still doesn't trust Rei.
    • Thankfully, since the Black Organization's official ascension, the Boss has made the decision to re-assign Bourbon from his current mission, so he's no longer as much of a danger.
  • Yusaku and Yukiko Kudo, Shinichi's biological parents, frequently baby him when no one else is around, poking fun at his new youthful state. In return, he sarcastically calls them oji-chan and oba-san. They chivalrously have given him the independence he needs to track down the Black Organization, only stepping in to care for him every now and then as well as to drop minor hints. Yusaku currently publishes mystery novels in their homeworld while Yukiko is a housewife. If given the right amount, she may consent to signing on productions in the House of Theater.
  • Now, there's the case of people knowing his identity. For all his talk that Shinichi is on a big case with Interpol overseas, Conan has proven notoriously bad at doing this. He zig-zags from an adorable and cute child to an abnormally precociously one (with noticeable voice changes) within seconds. Almost everyone has suspicions that he at least has something to hide. Six people have discovered it for themselves, all connected to the Black Organization in some way. Two even tricked Conan into admitting it out loud! The only reason Conan has weathered this storm is through sheer luck or the situation the plot happens to put him in. A lot of people seem to know his secret, given the access to the entire repository of fictional material in the Pantheon. Conan's stance on the matter is simply not to tell anyone, and if they know, just acknowledge it briefly and let live. As for the case of his loved ones finding out (especially Ran) and getting put in danger simultaneously, a mandate has been set by the Court as follows:
    • Under no circumstances must law enforcement overly defer to Conan in front of others who do not know his identity and are from his homeworld, specifically his legal guardians, Kogoro and Ran. They must follow along with the 'Sleeping Kogoro' act and not interfere with it unless absolutely necessary.
    • Ran especially cannot be informed of Conan's true identity and current situation unless she finds out for herself without outside assistance from someone who knows. If this is violated under any circumstances in which it could have been prevented or if another choice was available, she will be given the Brain Bleach and/or expelled from the Pantheon (politely) along with the offender (not so politely). Both rules are rendered null and void if the full revelation is done in-story by Gosho Aoyama.
    • A lot of people think this mandate is absolutely stupid, since it is highly likely that the Black Organization would have sent followers ahead. They think that there should be some sort of middle ground as to what she knows of Conan that will stay in the Pantheon and not follow back to her homeworld. In Conan's view, even if Death Is Cheap in the Pantheon, he remains paranoid even if a lot of deities already know who he really is without ending up in the Organization's sights and far worse villains exist. Most fans are also worried about how Shinichi's 'constant absence on a foreign case with Interpol' will cause a rift between Conan and Ran as if he can't trust her with the secret, citing this as evidence. For more insight, see below.
    • Conan is aware that Ran isn't stupid. Expecting Ran to not find out and keep tricking her is an insult to her intelligence. He won't run away from the truth anytime soon. Especially since Ran has been suspicious of him close to five times, maybe six (if the non-canon movies are to be believed). He knows he'll have to fess up at some point. And get totally screwed for the number of times he was a Peeping Tom without any choice in the matter.
    • Ai has a different view of things. From consultation with some cosmologists, any before-the-fact revelation of as of yet secret details in the manga could cause a paradox. It would forcibly derail the ingrained rules of the Detective Conan universe (fixtures of the series setting such as Conan getting shrunk or Sato and Takagi's budding romance) and result in its destruction. Few believe this theory, but have no inclination to test it out. Maybe Krona.
    • For now, as per his wishes, this mandate will remain in place, though it can be re-negotiated at a later pending further developments.
  • If you're asking, yes, Conan can speak perfect English. That doesn't make him any less annoyed when Western deities call him Jimmy instead of Conan. He knows that referring to him by his dub name is to distinguish him from another Conan in the Pantheon, but he doesn't get how anyone can mistake a Japanese kid detective for a barbarian. He doesn't appreciate being called 'Shinigami Conan' or 'Shinigami Kudo' either. It's not his fault that people die wherever he goes. That responsibility lies with the offender.
  • One of the first people Conan ever met after ascending happened to be lounging around the House of Profession cleaning up mess from some random alien exploding at the entrance. The Doctor (Eleventh at the time of Conan's ascension) was fretting about how the fashion designers from the House of Personal Appearance ought to be more careful in checking their dummies before having them delivered to the first-floor shops (i.e. living dummies i.e. Autons). Out of curiosity, Conan asked what he was referring to, and they took to each other at once due to their eccentric fashion sensibilities (Bowties Are Cool) and their love for investigation (the Doctor's idea of that is very different from Conan's).
  • The allies Conan cooperates with the most on record are the Japan-based detectives in his own sub-house. Before Ran and Haibara ascended, he and Heiji would hang out in the Narumi Detective Agency, poking fun at Shotaro's adamantly hard-boiled attitude and asking Philip to do ridiculous searches on the Gaia Library. He prides them for working on a very tight ship against monsters with superpowered USB drives. Conan finds himself a bit cheated that Philip has access to the worlds' accumulated knowledge to find a solution to their cases. Shotaro as of late has become one of Conan's closest confidantes, not just privy to his identity, but his inner thoughts. While a bit of a braggart and a playboy, Shotaro has been good at keeping things close to the chest. When Conan brought up the question of the ethics surrounding his secrecy and how it was enforcing distance between him and Ran, Shotaro brought up a very good point about his former boss:
Shotaro: Sokichi Narumi was like a father to me. Ever since the incident with the Spider Dopant, he could never go near his daughter again, because if he did, she would die. It was love that kept him away. Fear for her safety. He was always The Stoic, going about his life as per usual. Hard-boiled style. If he couldn't see his daughter, he would protect the world she lived in. Even if he couldn't be with her, he would always be there for her. Kamen Rider Skull was the original Rider to fight against Museum. He had to grow into that persona, regardless of the obstacles and sacrifices he had to make.
Conan: So? What about his death? (beat) Sorry.
Shotaro: It's OK. We rescued Philip. He got shot protecting him. He never got to contact Akiko. When she came to Futo, I couldn't tell her. To do that wouldn't just an insult to the boss that protecting Akiko had been All for Nothing, I wanted to her to pursue a normal life and that it had meant something. I'm kind of glad Philip revealed it, but I told myself at the time that her finding out her father had died after decades of separation would be too hard to bear. At least she actually acted like a woman for once when she found out... (weak laughter) Listen, Conan-kun. If you want to tell her, I'm not stopping you. Many have and suffered the repercussions of enemies targeting them. Ultimately, you decide what's best for her. Ran wouldn't have lost faith in you if she knew you had a very good reason to disappear.
    • With this reassurance, Shinichi decided to carry on as Conan in the Pantheon, steadfastly believing Ran's faith in him wouldn't disappear. He'll return. Someday.
  • For their sake, Conan would steadfastly follow news of the Kamen Rider fandom, considering the show parrots another show he and the Detective Boys watch, Kamen Yaiba. Despite Shinnosuke Tomari being a detective in the police force, Conan was first introduced to him on TV as a Brilliant, but Lazy detective who fell from grace to only gradually get better. However, things got better for them after Shinnosuke fully embraced his role as a Kamen Rider and his re-promotion to elite detective status in the First Division.
  • Conan respects Naoto Shirogane's skill as a detective, for being an another teenage detective who could match his skill, and how she's continuing the Shirogane family line of detectives, which is something he could respect. He feels bad for her situation for cross-dressing as a boy because of sexism in the police force and that being a teenager would make people ignore her. He is glad to hear that she started to express her feminity more often and became much more open to others. The two often discuss their favorite mystery literature as they read the genre growing up and try to recommend to each other similar books of the genre that they think they should have read. At Conan's urging, she has begun reading his father's mystery novels.
  • Kyoko Kirigiri provokes some interest for him, as a young detective from a long line of Born Detectives. The Killing School Life incident is one of the many grisly mass murders he researched to get up to speed on current fictional history. He was initially afraid to go near her due to the trauma she had experienced at the hands of a black-and-white bear and a despair-obsessed lady. He doesn't like her family's creed of remaining neutral without emotion and bias in their line of work.
  • He was reduced to a babbling mess when he met Sherlock Holmes at a book-signing event in the House of Knowledge. The detective, pleased at having such an avid fanboy with a strong conviction against crime, invited him to his temple at 221B Baker Street for some fireside talks. A common topic of discussion is on their proclivities to vanity and being full of themselves. Holmes was the one who informed him of the Black Organization's official ascension because his arch-nemesis James Moriarty had joined up under the name 'Smirnoff'. Conan was pleasantly surprised that a pair of mice named Basil and Dawson lived in his apartment and have similar characteristics.
    • Doesn't know what to think about Sherlock's granddaughter Sherry and her friends the Milky Holmes. While he respects their abilities, he doesn't like how goofy they are when on their job.
  • Thought at first that Hercule Poirot's temple is the coffee shop in his world and decided to pay a visit to meet some of his non-ascended friends. Upon meeting Hercule Poirot in person, Shinichi was very excited and cited him as one of his favourite fictional characters. Has more recently become a sort of mentor to Conan, joining him in his fireside talks with Holmes. Psychology and the human element is Poirot's forte, and he is trying to get Conan to balance the logical side of investigation with sympathy and emotion.
    • Conan has a very big problem with this. His stance on crime is that no matter the reason or motive behind it, it is still wrong, bordering on outright blasphemous, and the criminal has to face the consequences of his actions. This poses a problem for him here. While this philosophy is arguably his world's leading principle and life lesson, this causes him to have a Black-and-White Morality, giving Kirk Summations to criminals that cause them to break down, seemingly being unsympathetic towards them. Having had a case where the criminal behind the murder was Driven to Suicide, Conan has made it his mission to prevent that from ever happening again. He believes that someone who fails to prevent a person's suicide is no better than a murderer. Poirot is trying as hard as he can to open Conan's eyes to the many varieties of alignment in the Pantheon, from pure paragons of goodness and most depraved of individuals to the outright bonkers. This strict stance on crime does not mean that Conan supports YHVH or the Grand United Alliance of Law. Crime should be halted, but not at the expense of free will.
    • Poirot suggested that he branch out from his usual detective crowd and mix in with other deities and look into the more diversified bunch of criminals (like galactic conquerors and bloody serial killers) to get in their minds and see how they think rather than labelling them as outright bad. Some notable ones he has analyzed are Thanos, Jigsaw and Keel Lorenz.
    • Of course there are those who simply have no motive and simply kill For the Evulz. While Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger are par for the course, he has never met a killer on a level as extreme as Johan Liebert. An ordinary man who takes an odd sense of gratification from breaking a person's spirit, making them relive their worst traumas to drive them to suicide or turning them into 'monsters' like himself. Learning that he instigated the orphans and staff of his (albeit tyrannical) orphanage to kill each other at 10 doesn't help matters. A terrible individual. Ai comments that for all the abuse the Organization ever gave her, she believed there would be no one more inhuman than Gin. Conan has taken to using the AR facilities of the Oghma Library to analyze his crime scenes and like Lunge before him, is terrified at the complete lack of evidence or anything whatsoever. No clues, no traces, no sign of a motive. While Ax-Crazy psychopaths exist, Conan is outright scared of the lack of information on Johan Liebert's psyche. He is especially proud of Kenzo Tenma for his fervent belief in all life being equal as compared to Johan's All Are Equal in Death philosophy, and his determination to bring Johan to justice instead of snapping and killing him. Knowing how good he is being charismatic and personable, he makes sure that any of his friends who aren't aware of him stay away.
    • Conan has other choice words for the many other serial killers in the Pantheon, but that would take eons to run down...
  • He of course opposes every crime lord or mogul in the Pantheon, no exception. Is a bit more understanding of the Corleones who insist that their illegal operations and family lives are entirely separate. He, Ran, and Kogoro even had a meal in the Corleone turf in the House of Crime (they didn't know that) with Poirot of all people, secretly an effort to introduce Conan to Vito. Although very odd by Poirot's standards, Vito instantly took a liking to the young detective, walking him through a history of the crime family and why they do what they do: because they're family. The old Conan would have refused to listen and launched into a tirade against him and how he had to be punished regardless, but now that he has taken a more nuanced view, talks with him rather amicably. That is, if he doesn't catch a Corleone in the act. Outside of their criminal enterprise, he's cool with them.
  • Has never met Gandalf, but has taken his words to heart whenever he gets mad at the atrocities of other villains that are beyond redemption:
Gandalf: Pity? It's a pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play in it, for good or evil, before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many.
  • When he first ascended, Conan immediately initiated an investigation when heard about an organization called "The Men In Black" in hopes that they're the same ones that shrunk him. Not much is known about this investigation, but he remembered waking up in his temple after someone asked him to look ahead into a flashlight... When asked for comment, Agent J suggested that it wasn't so much as him seeing the aliens (there's no need to neuralyze anyone in this absolute pile of bonkers), it was more of a case of getting him out of the facility as he was causing too much of a ruckus asking the scientific branch for an antidote.
Agent J: Hey, he may be a teenager in a kid's body, but that doesn't mean he wasn't immature, looking around everywhere as if there was some miracle serum that would change him back. Gave him some coffee though before we memory-wiped him. Had a good talk with him, really interesting guy. O thought it was for the best. If I do run into him again, I'm actually looking forward to working with him.
  • On a routine visit to Ai Haibara's temple, she suddenly began cowering for no reason. When he realised this was this the symptom of her Black Organization senses, he scrambled all current cases he was looking into and questioned the Inspector for details. Discovering that the entire Black Organization had ascended for real, he immediately contacted James Black, the head of the FBI agents investigating the Organization (as Shinichi, obviously) to see if there had been any erratic movements by them lately. Sure enough, his fears were proven right. Since then, Conan has upped his game to solve higher-grade crimes such as mid-level genocide to make sure the Black Organization doesn't get its grubby little fingers into every facet of life in the Pantheon.
    • First priority was to ensure Haibara's safety. He enlisted the help of the 77th Precinct to get a plainclothes police patrol around Haibara's temple so she wouldn't notice. Thanks to Kir and Bourbon, Shuichi Akai got ascended under the trope Secret Identity Vocal Shift and became the head of her security patrol.
  • Thanks to some help from Akai, Shinichi was given contacts with the JSDF's Kikuoka Seijirou, and summarily informed of the Organization's involvement in the Pantheon VRMMO industry. Quinella, a product of the JSDF's Project Alicization, as well as Sugou have been creating brainwashing programmes to indoctrinate kidnapped children as a new source of manpower for the Organization . He is utterly repulsed by Sugou's lecherous nature towards Asuna and company. He enjoys Kirito's company (though he's also confused by his inability to realize he has a legion of female admirers). But he is very upset at his Good Is Not Soft approach on his enemies, him having grown up to hate corrupt acts. He feels that Kirito is compromising too much of his morals just to protect Asuna, yet no one seems to have a problem with it. Once had a heart-to-heart with Kirito on the topic:
Shinichi: You trapped a mercenary in a tree and left him trapped in Underworld forever just because he declared he'd never stop hunting you and Asuna down. Sure, Laughing Coffin ruined gamers' lives in SAO, and that Johnny Black put you in a coma, but even that doesn't justify you dooming him to a long, torturous death. What right did you have? Sometimes, it's hard for me to even see you as The Hero of your story.
Kirito: (beat) I'm Not a Hero, I'm... just an ordinary guy trying to protect the ones I love. We've all had to do hard things that go against our codes of honour. This was one of mine. Trapping PoH in a VRMMO server like I one was wasn't an easy thing to do, but it had to be done. Sugou did much worse things to Asuna, yet I let him live.
Shinichi: That was your anger talking. I can't accept whatever you do in this regard, even it is to protect your loved ones. (walks away)
    • It was revealed that Asuna had put Shinichi up to this, feeling that she didn't deserve to criticize her boyfriend's actions since they were all to protect her.
  • Visits the CR every so often with Haibara to study the Bugster Virus, since Masamune Dan is a business partner of the Black Organization. He isn't much of a gamer, because he prefers reading mystery novels, but enjoys playing with Emu whenever he's free. With Sugou, Quinella, and Masamune involved in the VRMMO operations of the Organization, it's become an obligation for Conan to grind every now and again in the eventuality that he does have to enter a game. Plus, Masamune may somehow know his identity.
  • Conan despises Chrollo Lucilfer and his heralds the Phantom Troupe as their one of the most dangerous criminals in their world. They do have an excuse on why they murder people that aren't part of their group, people don't care about the city they live in because it's a literal garbage dump that they decided that if people don't care about them, why not murder them? In fact, murder is so routine for them that they don't even bother to remember the name of their victims, just like Gin. The members do love each other like a family and if one of them died, they will be replaced but they will avenge them for that. As Gon states, if they mourn and knew what it's like to lose someone especially if you consider them as family, why not murder the rest of the world who express the same feelings as them? It doesn't help that one of the members, Feitan has the same voice when Conan is Shinichi.
    • As a result, he has (whether intentionally or not) fallen in with Kurapika, another criminal hunter who he literally kicked in the head with a football while he was pursuing one of the Troupe. Kurapika has warned him of serial killer Hisoka, a deviant murdersexual who slaughters anyone who is boring or weak in his eyes. Let's not go further into that... Also pities Killua Zoldyck for being trained as an assassin from young and not coming out too great.
  • Unlike most detectives, he has a good working relationship with the law enforcement due to his form as a kid making it easier for him to collect clues and allowing him to get into their good graces easier. The law enforcement deities in the Pantheon have far more drama than the homicide division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.
    • Jim Gordon already trusts the Dark Knight, a hero who he knows nothing about, and applies this same principle to Conan. He (usually) answers Conan's inquisitive queries with honesty, listening to and trusting in his judgement unless the aforementioned mandate comes into play. Despite this, Conan doesn't like how corrupt Gordon's police department is, but he has to live with it. It's Gotham. His opinion of the Joker is much the same as Johan Liebert: a mad dog chasing cars that ought to be chained in Arkham. If Conan thinks that there's no hope for the Joker, this really is bad.
    • Soichiro Yagami is a bit more bristly at having to listen to a kid, but that's mostly brought on by him being tricked into trusting his own son who turned to be Kira all along. When L and Near meet him, they expect him to appear as Shinichi for...reasons. Shinichi himself doesn't like their ambiguous nature of prolonging cases and endangering innocent lives, not to mention using barely legal methods to catch their quarry. That said, Light pretty much makes working with them the Lesser of Two Evils. Shinichi, already disliking how YHVH is willing to destroy humanity for not bending to his godly rule, would rail at Light for two hours on just how unethical his approach to stopping crime is by killing anyone remotely with the Death Note. Throwing his family, possible perfect future and morals under the bus just for the sake of a perfect and crime-free Utopia of his own making is not worth becoming a monster for in his opinion. On a more humourous note, Ryuk once paid a visit to Conan in bed, asking for apples. Being awakened a literal demigod of death made Conan wet himself.
  • While not ascended themselves, Conan is highly amused at the detective 'not-twins' Thomson and Thompson, especially their habit of finishing each other's sentences. Tintin's crowd is basically Conan's, same, same but different. Tintin has a very similar Black-and-White Morality-esque outlook on crime, and Captain Haddock is a bumbling buffoon of a drunkard like Kogoro is. The Captain, good fellow, invited Kogoro and company to a banquet at Marlinspike Hall with the rich clientele of the Pantheon, where of course, a murder happened.

  • Note that the Phantom Thieves are more accurately vigilantes rather than criminals. Thou Shall Not Kill is their absolute rule.

The reason the Phantom Thieves resort to vigilantism is because their targets are basically “untouchable” due to law enforcement being unable or unwilling to take them down. A LOT of corruption in their local law enforcement.

Irony that Conan and them share a common motive of justice and protecting the innocent (one of them being the daughter of a slain police officer). Not So Different indeed.

  • Kiki was very surprised upon meeting him due to the fact that he sounds really similar to her while Conan is surprised that Kiki sounded like an actress he met on a case. Nevertheless, they bonded over their bizarre methods of transportation.
  • Even though he wasn't that surprised to hear about Conan Edogawa being in the Pantheon considering that they have crossed paths a number of times in the past, Kaito finds the detective to be a worthy adversary given the skills established by such (and Conan has acknowledged Kaito's own skills). That said, they're pretty amicable towards each other even if they're trying to outwit each other.
  • He might also be wary of Jane Marple since he once fought an expy of her who turned out to be the culprit for that case.
There can only be one truth!

Does anyone think Ridley should be Aerodactyl's trainer? Personally, I had thought Aero should have a trainer who strives for balance, since Omastar and Kabutops have appropriate Chaotic and Lawful trainers...

Used to be that Aerodactyl was shared by the Kinkou Order from League of Legends, but they aren't in the Pantheon anymore.

Freudian Excuse: Not one person is entirely good or evil; something will have to have happened in the past to make them what they are today.

Rhyme, Goddess of Wistful Amnesia (Skulls Jr., Black, Raimu Bito)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rhyme.png
  • Symbol: Her bell necklace
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Big Brother Worship, Bokukko, Satellite Character, kindness and blonde hair, contented youth, Morality Pet, Sacrificial Lamb, being Only Mostly Dead, Parental Favoritism, Summon Magic
  • Domains: Knowledge, Amnesia, Hopes, Dreams
  • High Priest: Tatsuya Kaname
  • Allies: Beat (her brother), Neku Sakuraba, Shiki Misaki, Joshua, Sora, Riku, Doreen Green, Makoto Nanaya, Yu Narukami, Nanako and Ryotaro Dojima, Sojiro Sakura, Ice King
  • Opposes: Sho Minamimoto, Master Xehanort and his cohorts

  • Rhyme was a kid with hopes and dreams for the future, and she looked up to her brother despite all his shortcomings. Then they took a car to their entire bodies, taking them straight to the Reaper's Game, and with Rhyme without her memories. It was there that they met Neku and Shiki. A lot of things happened during the game and its extra two weeks, such as Rhyme's Erasure, returning as a Noise for Beat to Partner with in order to continue existing, and eventually being revived by the end of the whole Reaper's Game business.
  • A while after returning to the Pantheon, Joshua channeled Rhyme's dreams again, to allow her to enter the Pantheon. Beat was overjoyed and waited by Joshua's side so that he could immediately greet his sister. The joy was mutual, as Rhyme was also overjoyed to see her elder brother. Thanks to Beat winning the Reapers' Game, she'd regained her memories of him.
    • Unfortunately, she's implied to have no specific hopes or dreams for the future, due to losing the Reapers' Game, even though she technically didn't get erased. It reminds her of the time she spent in Traverse Town without her memories. As stated in a document in her homeworld though, a void in one's heart can be refilled as long as one enjoys the present. So Rhyme doesn't let this get her down. She's even found a new goal:
    • Being the nice person she is, Rhyme decided that she'd like to do what she can do jog her followers' memories, and help them out beyond that.
  • Some gods in the Pantheon mistook her for a boy at first, until she spoke. Their reasoning was that while Rhyme isn't necessarily unfeminine, the gods from Square-Enix media tend to look feminine.
  • To better defend herself in the Pantheon, Joshua gifted her a couple Pins she can use for Psyches, and she seems to be able to handle them well. After all, she had to have been a reliable enough Partner for Beat given how Noise battles in the UG work. Neku and Shiki were just never there to see it until now.
  • Her fondness for repeating quotes and adages reminds Solid Snake of Mei Ling, and old ally of his. He suspects they'd get along.
  • Experiences a strange familiarity whenever she's in the presence of Doreen Green. This is because Rhyme spent two weeks as a Squirrel Noise, but she doesn't remember any of that.
    • The two have become friends, and Rhyme has also become friends with Makoto Nanaya.
  • Alongside Beat, she's become fast friends with Yu Narukami. She's even voiced her opinion that sometimes one of the two boys reminds her of the other. Naturally, she also befriended the Dojimas Yu lived with during his time at Inaba.
  • Since Beat's become a frequent visitor of Leblanc, Rhyme has also gotten acquainted with Sojiro.
  • Rhyme has a tendency to secretly take away Beat's belongings whenever she feels that they're distracting him from an important task at hand.
  • With Rhyme's ascension, Shiki is the last one of Neku's friends to ascend, should she ever. Except it turns out Shiki had already been in the Pantheon before her; it's just that her position had been "overridden" by another, and then that representative goddess left it to join her group, and, well... go check Shiki's profile for what exactly happened.
  • She was surprised when one of her followers, Ice King, ascended. The two have spent more time together since then. Even after he's turned back to Simon Petrikov, and she bids him luck in finding a way to get his wife back.

I'm kinda stuck right now in terms of content. Seeking assistance.

Clifford, God of Giants Who Were Tiny In Childhood (The Big Red Dog)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cliff5.gif
  • When he first encountered Dag, he was intimidating enough for Clifford to immediately run away. Funnily enough, because of Clifford's size, Dag was also inclined to run, and tends to stay away lest he get stomped by the big red dog.
  • Bigby is among those who gets along with Clifford, given that he used to be the runt of his mother's litter. His true form also tends to be enormous, too.
  • Given his sheer size, Cruella is very much looking forward to getting his thick red pelt. And given she ordered a hunt on a zoo captive and was willing to kidnap pets...

Hassan of the Cursed Arm, God of Creepily Long Arms (Hassan-i-Sabbah, Old Man of the Mountain, Hanam, True Assassin)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/40_hassan_of_the_cursed_arm_assassin_4.png
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: Shaytan's Arm
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil (officially)
  • Portfolio: One of the Old Men of the Mountain, Creepily Long Arms, Destroying Target's Heart, Consummate Professional, All-Encompassing Mantle, Throwing Dirks, Sacrificing Everything to Make His Mark in History Only to Not Get What He Wanted
  • Domains: Assassins, Limbs, Cloaks, Knives
  • Superior: The Great Founder (First Hassan)
  • Allies: Ritsuka Fujimaru, Ezio Auditore da Firenze
  • Opposed by: Medea, Souichirou Kuzuki, Cu Chulainn
  • Enemies: Kirei Kotomine
  • Wary About: Mordred, Sir Gawain
  • Rivals: Kano (one-sided)
  • Former Master: Zouken Matou
  • One of the 19 people who carried the name of Hassan-i-Sabbah. Originally he was a normal man named Hanam until he strived to make his mark in history. Abandoning his old life, he devoted his body and life into becoming the next Old Man of the Mountain, the leader of Hashshashin. Ultimately he was simply recorded in history as being just one of the Hassans without being anything remarkable otherwise.
  • In order to become Hassan, he heavily modified his body to enhance his physical skills, leaving him limb elongated and the rest of his body skeletal. He has also more or less destroyed his face beneath his mask. Most important part of him is that he sealed the demon Shaytan into his right arm, thus leaving it as a incredibly long, red arm that is longer than his already tall body.
    • Thanks to Shaytan's curse, he was able to develop his very own Zabaniya, a killing technique each Hassan has to have. His is Delusional Heartbeat which allows him to create a replica of the opponent's heart, allowing him to either destroy the fake heart to destroy the real one or switch the target's real heart with the fake one, thus allowing him to consume it for intelligence (though he doesn't have much need to it now).
  • Don't let his appearance and alignment fool you, he is not as bad as he seems. He might have been a leader of a group of assassins, but he deep down a decent guy. He is loyal to whomever he might be serving and if given a chance, he might be able to become The Cowl.
  • In terms of relations to those involved in the Fifth Holy Grail War, he has tried to have no hard feelings to those involved. While he has been able to make aments to likes of Shirou, Artoria Pendragon and Medusa, he hasn't been able to make much progress with likes of Medea, Souichirou and Cu (though latter would rather just have a rematch with him). In regards to his former Master Zouken, while he has always related to him, he probably isn't trying to make any long-lasting relationships anymore.
  • Is honestly impressed how much more easily Sakuya Izayoi can go around picking up her knives. She has the cover of time stop to pick them up while he has no such luxury when it comes to his dirks.
  • As the leader of the organization which became the origin for the word "assassin", he has to bow his head to Ezio. Of course he can't say much else about the origins of the Brotherhood since he was born after the Third Crusade.
  • Kano is impressed by the fact that he can destroy person's heart without even needing to pull it out and wants to trade few pointers between fellow killers. Cursed Arm is not really pleased with Kano's formalities with him and probably would take his crack at destroying the Black Dragon if given the chance.
  • Has personal problem with Gawain and Mordred due of them willingly following the Lion King in taking over Jerusalem and threatening the people he was meant to protect. Still, he realizes that Gawain is simply extremely loyal and is otherwise a good person and Mordred just wants her "father's" approval, so he is trying to let it slide as long as it doesn't happen again. Also to note that he has nothing against Lancelot since he turned against the Lion King on his own.

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!

Here's the Aayla Secura profile. I've already got one [tup] from Crimson Shark.

Election Mode

Aayla Secura, Goddess of Alien Hair

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/aalya_secura_sw_6074.jpg
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: Jedi Order Insignia.
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Action Girl, Has Lekku Head-Tails, Blue-Skinned Space Babe, Canon Immigrant, Master Swordswoman, Ms. Fanservice, No Kill Like Over Kill.
  • Domains: The Force, Combat, War
  • Herald: Oola
  • Superior: George Lucas
  • Allies: All ascended Jedi, Liara T'soni, Daenerys Targaryen, Snow White, Abraham Lincoln
  • Odd Friendship: Starfire
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Frank Castle, Anakin Skywalker
  • Enemies: All ascended Sith, most Separatists (Especially Wat Tambor), Wilhuff Tarkin, Jabba the Hutt, the Slavers, The Grineer
  • Wary Around: Clones, especially the 501st Legion
  • Born on the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth, Aayla was discovered to be force-sensitive and taken in by the Jedi order. She was apprenticed by Jedi Master Quinlan Vos. Participated in the attempt to rescue Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Padme from Geonosis, which marked the beginning of the Clone Wars. During the War, she commanded the 327th Star Corps on the planet of Felucia. Was killed during Order 66.
  • Like most Jedi, is deeply opposed to the Sith and all Dark side Force-Users.
  • Briefly commanded the 501st Legion while they were stationed on Felucia. It was said that without her leadership, they wouldn't have survived the fighting. Unfortunately, she is deeply distrustful of clones after Order 66, especially those belonging to Clone Armies. For what it's worth, many clones felt sorry for betraying her.
  • Does not like the Grineer. In addition to being an army of clones, she's horrified by their behavior and ruthlessness when dealing with opposition.
  • Was surprised to learn that Anakin had become Darth Vader, due to the fact that the last time she'd seen him he was a loyal member of the Jedi Order. He was also The Chosen One, and was expected by most Jedi to bring balance to the force by destroying the Sith. This has been further complicated when Anakin turned back to the Light Side and helped defeat the Emperor.
  • Having known her during the Clone Wars, Aayla was glad to learn that Ashoka Tano had not only survived Order 66, but had also ascended to the Pantheon. She was impressed that after Order 66, Ashoka had worked to help resist the Empire.
  • While she has animosity towards the Separatist Alliance, Aayla has an intense dislike of Wat Tambor, in no small part due to his brutal occupation of Ryloth and his experimentation on sentient beings. One of the few Jedi to survive General Grievous, though was severely wounded during the encounter.
  • As many Twi'leks are forced to become Sex Slaves, and becoming a slave when she was a child, she dislikes slavery and those who participate in it. Has a special hatred for the Slavers for their involvement in sex trafficking. Hates Jabba the Hutt for the same reason, especially after learning how he treats his slaves. Was forced to work with him during the Clone Wars, but after the war he allied himself with the Empire. As such, there's nothing holding her back now. She is very sympathetic to those who have been enslaved and admires those who have worked to free slaves.
  • Because she killed Jabba the Hutt, Aayla greatly admires Princess Leia. Has complicated feeling about Frank Castle. On the one hand, he took down the Slavers. On the other hand, his ruthlessness is at odds with the Jedi Code, which Aayla still adheres to.
  • Never much liked Tarkin to being with, these feelings got worse after he joined the Empire. Not to mention, he was involved in the construction of Death Star, which resulted in the enslavement of many non-humans. The feeling is mutual, as Tarkin has a low opinion of non-humans and the Jedi.
  • Is friends with Liara T'soni due to their similar appearances. Is also friends with Starfire due to both being aliens with a preference for skimpy clothes. However, while Starfire has no problem with romantic relations, Aayla is forbidden from having emotional attachments by the Jedi.
  • As with all other characters from Star Wars, her superior is George Lucas.

@TPPR: Bro, Hellboy? They would get along over having a dangerous right arm and doing good in spite of their supposed nature. Hellboy finds it idiotic that Cursed Arm sacrificed his identity for a mark in history, though Cursed Arm said he is trying to move on from that bad decision and also, he praises Hellboy for defying his end-bringer nature with his nurturing upbringing by his human father.

@Nightelf: Cursed Arm's actual alignment might be Lawful Neutral with leanings towards Good, but he's officially Lawful Evil because all Hassans are capable of killing anybody regardless of who they are, but they have a code that they still stand by.

You probably watched too much Let's Plays of Assassin's Creed...
