Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

  • Respects: Fisher Tiger, Moby-Dick, The Kraken
  • Disrespected by: Dracula (Castlevania)
  • Conflicted opinion on: The Antagonist (Hatred), Shinobu Sensui
  • Hody Jones is a Great White Shark Fish-man, former Neptune army soldier and head of the New Fish-Man Pirates. Inspired by the teachings of Fisher Tiger and Arlong, he's a fishman supremacist who was offended by Queen Otohime's attempt to find peace with humans and tried to cause racial tension by hiring a human to burn the signature box, assassinate Otohime and frame the human. Taking over Fishman Island he planned to execute everyone sympathetic to humanity and devastate the island with the ship Noah. To boost his strength he and his crew had Energy Steroids, which he gulped down by the truckload. Ultimately he was outclassed when going up against Monkey D Luffy and the Straw Hats and the drugs took their toll, rendering his men fragile old shells of their former selves. However his hatred remains the same.
  • By all accounts, Hody Jones was destined to rot away in jail as a severely aged, dried up criminal. Melkor had other plans, however; he was interested in using another supremacist to serve the cause of Evil and felt spurned when Fisher Tiger flatly denied, since he may hate humans but there are many lines he won't cross in spite of the hatred. Hody Jones had no lines he wouldn't cross and envisions himself as an embodiment of prejudice. Through ties in the Hall of Drugs and Pharmaceuticals he whipped up a drug that could restore Hody to full health, however if he goes into withdrawal he'll start rapidly aging again. It's convenient for the GUAE as it also serves as a proverbial leash on him. Nitrus Bio was made to commission these healing drugs, which he wasn't all that enthused by as he doesn't like helping a major racist no matter the compensation he gets.
  • Though he hates all humans, he takes special umbridge against the Straw Hats for causing his defeat. Never mind that his abuse of Energy Steroids would've guaranteed he could never live long enough to make his vision a reality or that there were plenty of people who would've stopped his plan in its tracks, being devastated by Zoro and later Luffy even in preferable conditions fills him with even more hate. The fact Monkey D Luffy destroyed his Idol Arlong's operations in the East Blue makes him his personal Arch-Enemy, and even in a completely frail state demanded a rematch. Noting some similarities, he hates the pirate Jack Sparrow. About the only humans he has anything resembling a positive opinion on is so-called "Not Important" and Shinobu Sensui, and that's only because they have a deep hatred for humanity despite being human. The latter at least has reasons and clear motives to why he's the way he is, so he's not a fan of Hody. As for the Antagonist, he doesn't work well with anyone but he isn't going out of his way to fight him either.
  • A former follower of Reverend Stryker, and not proud of the fact. Hody Jones despises humans, and anyone sympathetic to them. This includes other Fishman, who he will give the Category Traitor treatment. The reason why he was a follower, though, is because his bigotry was just as hollow and petty as the Sinister Minister. He grew up in Fishman District, a run-down and isolated place where sentiments against humanity ran so intensely that Hody was radicalized into someone who would exterminate all humans. By his own admission humans did nothing to him, instead he was Taught to Hate. This is seen as empty and hollow by most, especially Hody's idol Fisher Tiger. He had a legitimate reason to hate humans, if one he admitted was irrational, yet he would still free them from slavery and wouldn't harm an innocent. Hody deludes himself into thinking this is some sort of test by Fisher and that he is being deceived over how he "really" died, and he refuses to listen to Fisher's scathing condemnation over how his treatment of his fellow Fishmen makes him just as bad as the humans who actually deserve his scorn.
  • Hody Jones is not the only pantheon resident to have become prejudiced from his environment and teachings, rather than any personal slight. Jojo Betzler used to literally be a Nazi rather than figurative like Hody, but given his youth he fell more into the Innocent Bigot group. The time he spent with the Jewish runaway Elsa changed his worldview and he realized the true evil of the Nazi cause. That someone like Hody could remain so bone-deep in his hatred and never grow out of his ways is something terrible to Jojo. Not that the fishman could care, as he sees him as just another human. To an extent he feels the same to Reverend Stryker and Belos despite their similarities, but he admits that "if they were Fishmen, I might've liked the cut of their jib". Belos doesn't hold any prejudice to Hody in return, but that's because his hatred is more towards witches and demons and he has not been raised to hate fish-men or those like fish-men. As Hody has grander ambitions (read; Take Over the World) he considers them rivals, both in his goals and to a degree ideologically.
  • The idea of living in peace with humans sickens him and that Fishmen should take their rightful place as the Master Race...again, quite Nazi of him. Personally he thinks the Nazi's racial ideology is stupid despite being no different. The Red Skull may see him as inferior (though not a complete "untermensch") but he holds some respect for his vision of spreading hate and dedication to do whatever it takes to achieve his vision. Hody may hate him for being human, but he was entranced by the reach of HYDRA and has been inspired to form his own organization to spread his cause. HYDRA ignores him as he's overly reckless whenever he gets a bit of power, and his supremacist views do not match any of their member's supremacists views. Hody has also been compared to a card-carrying member of the KKK, a comparison that annoys Col. Benjamin Cameron. It's a fair comparison as outside of racism many actual KKK members joined the military almost solely to get the abilities to better persecute members of other races. What bothers him is that he would never treat his own race as badly as Hody has in the name of his own racist ideology.
  • Draco Malfoy and Sirius Black come from families with long-standing bigotry, with Draco's dad having been a Death Eater. As an adult Draco has fortunately matured and first hand learned how bad supremacy can get. Sirius never was bigoted, and he ended up being disinherited because of it. They're quite disappointed in Hody Jones for letting his racist ideology make him the worst version of himself, comparing him to Voldemort. Voldemort considers the comparison insulting, but that's more down to being significantly more competent than Hody despite his notorious arrogance. He considers Fishmen dirty though not to the extent of his hatred for Muggles and mugglebornnote . He would consider hiring him as he did Fenrir however Hody refuses to be subservient to a human and he has his own goals that'd probably conflict with the Death Eaters. Personally he doesn't get Voldemort's own prejudices against Muggles or muggle-born, but that's down to seeing all types of human as equally inferior to one another.
  • Freeing his men wasn't a condition getting him into the Trope Pantheon. Not that he cares enough to bring it up, as he can always find new allies. Though he believes fishmen are the Master Race, he sees other non-humans as better than humans and worthy enough to be proper allies instead of slaves. There could be an element of pragmatism there, but he has also found likeminded non-humans who hold contempt towards homo sapiens. One of the few he calls a friend in the Trope Pantheon is Koba, as the two are quite alike; driven in their vendetta against human beings, but prove deeply hypocritical, having little to no problem with killing even their own kind. While it is true that Koba has reasons to hate humanity unlike Hody, it's not like it justifies them. Hody Jones is an ally of the Dark Dragon due to shared supremacist hatred of humans, but it's more of an alliance of convenience between them.
  • As a humanoid great white shark with a real mean streak, Hody is rather fond of Bruce. Being a regular shark (if an abnormally aggressive one), Bruce is incapable of normal alliances, however Hody is able to "tame" him to a certain extent. He's figured out the right chum mix, which unfortunately includes whatever unfortunate human he managed to kill. The pirahnas in the Hall of Fish are other animals the Fish-Man wants to make his pets in hopes of taming them. Personally he thinks the Kraken is really cool for all the human ships it has sunk, but he's smart enough to realize that it would not distinguish his own ship from human ships so this is more a "from a glance" respect. Another sea beast he's fond of is Moby-Dick, sympathizing with its vendetta with whalers and legend. Well OK, "sympathize" might be too strong a word from him, but it's close enough.
  • Hody Jones considers fishmen to not just be humanoid fish like himself, but mermaids. Merfolk like Orm, however, he puts on a lower racial ranking as they are bit too human for his likings, however he doesn't hold radical hatred towards them like he does "true" humans. He does hate Aquaman on a racial basis though, as he is mixed blood between an Atlantean queen and normal human lighthouse worker, a loving match that runs antithetical to his worldview. Basically he considers his mother a race traitor and Aquaman an abomination, only to get slapped across the room by Aquaman for his horrible views. Namor approved of this, as while he has a complicated, often fraught relationship with surface dwellers he would never sink to the lows of Hody. Orm detests Hody too, as he has standards to his radical views.
  • His ultimate goal is to take on the World Government, enslave all humanity and become Pirate King. Having never been to the surface, he's got the idea that a force of 100,000 pill-popping underlings is enough to take them on and has no idea how out of his depth he is. Well, maybe more like was, since being part of the Trope Pantheon he is aware of powerful beings who if he can tame, could help him legitimately take on the World Government. And yet he has gotten it into his head that he can one day rule the Trope Pantheon. This new big scheme was first to get the support of Rahab and the Deep Sea King. In fairness, this ended up working as they both hold contempt for humanity and a preference for sea life, so Hody Jones is welcome to hang out and support them. Then he decided to try and control Kyogre in order to flood the world for Fishmen to inherit and humanity to be enslaved or perish...that was a lot less successful. The legendary was surprised to see Archie personally confront Hody for his hateful ways despite his history. Archie wanted to expand the seas for the sake of Pokemon, but he doesn't hate his fellow man and repented when he realized the sea levels would rise beyond what he hoped for.
  • Hody Jones is hoping to radicalize fellow aquatic deities into his way of thinking. His current targets are the Gill-Man and members of Bikini Bottom, funnily enough. Since the latter's residents barely, if ever interacts with (or is even aware of the existence of) humans they had no idea what they were saying. He pointed to the terrifying monster, the Cyclops, being human. Spongebob was clueless at all this since he met David Hasselhoff and doesn't get why Hody is so hateful. Hody wants to push for King Triton to agree with his views, however he and Ariel are disgusted by his actions. Yes Triton wasn't fond of surface dwellers for some time because they were responsible for his wife's death, but he has come to tolerate them and never behaved as atrociously as Hody. Hody considers his change of views to be a great loss, and he feels the same with the Dracula from Hotel Transylvania. While the Castlevania Dracula is more in line with his hatred towards humans, he is annoyed by how arrogant and hollow Hody's hatred is.
  • While he is mainly an enemy with heroic pirates, there are also some pretty evil pirates he butts heads with. As much as Orm and especially Arthur Curry hate him, they also think his hatred of Black Manta is completely understandable. David Hyde is a man who would poison the entire ocean to hurt Aquaman, infamous murdered his baby boy and if he's not a total sociopath he's damn close to it. Far as Hody is concerned he's a walking, talking argument against humanity, something Black Manta laughs at as he agrees with many of his accusations but in that way he's not pretentious like Hody. Another pirate, one easily as bad as him that he feuds with, is Euron Greyjoy. Euron is a wannabe Übermensch sea farer with a grandiose vision, but he's considerably more manic than Hody. He thinks Hody's supremacist ideology is stupid and his vision of aspiring to something like the Drowned God (except not quite like because he actually thinks it's a stupid concept for a god), and enjoys taunting him that he has not seen the world as he has.

@Camilla For Grace, she might have something in common with Revan. Both led someone else down a dark path (Grace with Simon, Revan with Malak) and were eventually betrayed by them. However, Malak and Simon were still responsible for their own choices in the end, something that Grace and (possibly) Revan both point out. While Malak admits Revan is right, Simon does not.

Darth Malak: Still... still spouting the wisdom of the Jedi, I see. Maybe there is more truth in their code than I ever believed. I... I cannot help but wonder, Revan. What would have happened had our positions been reversed? What if fate had decreed I would be captured by the Jedi? Could I have returned to the Light, as you did? If you had not led me down the dark path in the first place, what destiny would I have found?
Revan: I am sorry I started you on this path. But you chose to continue down it.
Darth Malak: I suppose... I suppose you speak the truth. I alone must accept responsibility for my fate. I wanted to be Master of the Sith and ruler of the galaxy. But that destiny was not mine, Revan. It might have been yours, perhaps... but never mine. And in the end, as the darkness takes me... I am nothing.

Grace: Simon, you're in a lot of pain, I understand that!
Simon: Another hollow apology, Grace?
Grace: [beat] No. I'm not responsible for your problems. I don't owe you anything!
Simon: You owe me everything!

[up][up][up]Hordy would hate the humans Whitebeard and Big Mom who both claimed Fisherman Island as their territory. Whitebeard claimed it to protect the people of the island from other pirates and Big Mom made a deal with Fisherman Island to protect it as her territory in return for lots of sweets. Hordy would think that Fisherman Island wouldn't need any help from a mere human to protect it unless the humans were his slaves.

Was Fractured Fairy Tale ever taken? I swear it feels like one of those tropes that would've but I don't remember if it was, and I can't seem to find it where I think it might end up

[up][up][up][up][up][up] I would say Hody Jones is a flat-out Intermediate with those steroids with how he was relatively on the same ground as a post-timeskip especially in the anime (doing Broad Strokes canon here to include all movies). Even wuthout Haki, I think its a Chopper Monster Point situation.

Also, I'm going to find you better pics. I'm contacting a dataminer to get the pic first

Right I think this is all I can do for Grace Monroe before I'm just repeating things, hopefully this gets me the 5 [tup]s cause I'm gonna be gone to Germany on Friday.

Also, since I'm also planning on creating Cedric the Sorcerer's page (Because You Were Nice to Me, does he fit better in Ambiguity - Alignment Changes or Betrayal and Treason - Reasons for Betrayal?

  • Grace Monroe was once a Lonely Rich Kid who only wanted her parents' love. So she decided the best way to do so was by shoplifting. It failed as her parents tried to hide their daughters' crimes under the rug else ruin their reputation. Despondent, Grace was suddenly whisked away by a carriage complete with a red carpet onto the Infinity Train, where she would meet up with a strange monster with a massive green number, save a boy wearing socks and sandals from a giant cockroach, and bluff her way of stating she's a total expert on how to survive the Train, creating the cult known as the Apex — a group of chidren who ransacked cars and injured/killed innocent denizens in order to survive. All because she wanted to deny that she had no idea what the hell any of them were supposed to be doing.
    • Things changed when one day, in a raid in a car full of turtles, something caused the car she and the Apex were in to move on its own. She and Simon were thrown back to another car where they met with a girl named Hazel and her gorilla denizen partner Tuba. Noticing that Hazel's number was broken — it wasn't glowing like other numbers did — the two decided to have her join the Apex in order to get the numbers game to throw Tuba into the wheels. Unfortunately, Grace slowly learned to care for Hazel. Simon didn't. After more and more revelations arrived and Grace had to admit that her communication skills caused more problems than good, she was left to pick up the pieces of everything she did in the slimmest chance she and the Apex would finally leave.
  • Grace spent a year or so working on getting every member of the Apex's number to 0, seeing them off with a bittersweet farewell until she was left with her origami partner. The last thing that was on her mind was how she would face her parents; it had been more than a decade since she saw them last, and they most likely forgot about her or would still be the same neglectful/abusive parents they were previously. After thinking of it, Grace ultimately had to accept that it's pointless to get their attention and that she must work on herself from now on. This finally made her number reach 0 and a door opened for her...but instead of it leading to her house (which meant her origami partner couldn't follow her per Train rules), she ended up in the Gates of the Pantheon. The Court of the Gods were waiting until she was finally free of the Train before bringing her in, since she was the best represented of "blind leading the blind". Grace initially wanted nothing to do with the god business since this is the entire reason she screwed up so many people's lives, but decided that if this will make others learn to not make the mistakes she did, and also because she wanted to be far away from her parents, she accepted. And as a token of faith, her origami bird partner was allowed as a herald.
    • One of the first deities Grace met with was Kubo, who was capable of manipulating origami. Kubo questioned how Grace's origami friend was alive to which Grace had an awkward talk about how she visited a Train that had strange denizens that came alive. She pitied Kubo because his past made hers look completely tame — lost his eye to his grandfather, his dad died to his aunts, and his mom is in a catatonic state with brain damage. Kubo has also taken the time to tell Grace that he will send some origami birds to protect her since she will always have a target on her back. Grace was thankful that someone like him was kind enough to even care for her well-being.
  • Grace was shocked to learn that Simon was alive in the Pantheon. Unfortunately, being in the Pantheon just made him worse as he plans to make sure the "Void" pays one way or another. Simon was only saved when he was punched and then bashed across the head with a pipe...and the one who punched him glared since that was Lake, who was not happy to find the Apex leader ascended. And the one with the pipe was Tulip Olsen, whom Lake was the reflection of. Grace was then given a thorough tongue lashing by Lake, stating in no certain terms that Lake will not forgive her for trying to wheel her and Alan Dracula and then trying to sic the Mirror Cops on her. Tulip was also furious as well, especially when she learned that Grace invaded the Unfinished Car (full of delegates from the Corgi Car) but she could see that Grace wouldn't have known better and is moving on. Although, Lake was surprised about one thing.
Lake: Kinda amazed you went so long without the instruction videos.
    Tulip/Grace: What instruction videos?
Lake: Y'know, the videos that explain what the hell you're supposed to do? (beat) You honestly didn't bother to look for one?
    • Grace's relationship with Tulip was more complicated when she learned how Tulip is the one who placed One-One back as the true Conductor and made Amelia change her ways and that Tulip decided to ask questions and use logic then lie about the truth. While Tulip still promises to be supportive, Grace has asked that Tulip steps away for now as she comes to grip with her mistakes.
  • Since Grace has at most a 4th grade education due to her extended trip on the Train, she has been ordered to take remedial lessons in the Elysium Academy to make up for it. Naturally, many students are wary of her due to her reputation for corrupting children and never feeling sorry for it, and the fact that she's actually killed numerous denizens without a shred of sympathy. Grace was ready to accept her fate of being alone...until she met up with Gentaro Kisaragi, who decided that he'll be her friend so that way she wouldn't be alone anymore.
Grace: But why me? I've killed others! I lied and brainwashed kids for years. Why would someone like you be my friend?
Gentaro: I befriended the guy who wanted to use me as a shield, the guy who killed me to bring his friend back, and the principal of my school who killed my friend out of jealousy. And the way I see it, you're pretty remorseful for what you've done, right?
    • Grace then met with Gentaro's friends who also accepted that she's willing to work on herself. They invited her to have some time on the moon so she can have a heart-to-heart with Gentaro, before cementing it with his handshake. The Friendship and Camaraderie house is willing to accept her with open arms, and Grace has slowly gained allies. One of them being Magolor, who betrayed Kirby to obtain ultimate power but turned a new leaf. She also admitted that she was jealous of Anne Boonchuy, Sasha Waybright, Marcy Wu — despite everything the three went through, they were able to open their eyes, change themselves, and then made up. Grace questioned if things were different, Simon wouldn't have died...but bitterly notes that she can't do anything about it now, and she and Simon can never be friends again.
  • Ended up bonding with Asuka Langley Soryuu due to how they both suffered from having abusive parents and hide their insecurities with a haughty mask, although Grace is a bit disturbed with how abusive Asuka could be towards Shinji as not even she would lash out at Simon like that. Grace considered herself lucky that her mind wasn't defiled as badly as Asuka was by Arael, leaving the Eva Pilot a catatonic wreck since her worth was tied to how good she was in fighting the Angels. Unfortunately, Grace was unexpectedly caught in one of Arael's heavenly beams and began screaming in agony over how Arael tried to pry her mind over what made her want to kill denizens for the sake of it and forced her to recall every single victim she killed/mutilated in a never-ending loop until help arrived. It was during her time in the House of Medicine that she met with Shinji Ikari, and the two bonded over their painful pasts and how they obtained the strength to face their traumas head on instead of running away.
  • Grace is unsure whether to pity Sara Berry or not. On one hand, Sara was pressured to become Prom Queen under her abusive father's thumb, pushed everyone she loved aside and then snapped by killing six innocent girls who didn't know better. On the other hand, Grace had to remind herself that she was much worse than Sara because Sara didn't corrupt others to do what she said and her kill tally was less than Grace's overall. At least Grace has no intention on being Prom Queen, which means Sara is aloof at best to her. Grace did bond with Pacifica Northwest and Carrie White though, since they also dealt with abusive parents who treated them much worse than Grace's parents being neglectful.
  • Many Train deities have banned her from their temples, given the chaos she enacted on the last one she was in. Most notably, Ryotaro Nogami and the Pterandon family want nothing to do with her. After all, they deal with time traveling trains, so what are the chances she does something stupid and rewinds time and makes things worse? Grace accepted that her reputation has pretty much made deities look down at her and it'll take a long time, if ever, for others to see she's not the "total expert on the Train" as before. She's also been banned from the Hall of Primates and many turtle deities want nothing to do with her given the incident with Tuba and Hazel. That said, she's disgusted by the likes of Atriox, Gorilla Grood and Mojo Jojo so that's a blessing in her book.
  • Due to her reputation, she ended up having a kinship with Nena Trinity and Merilna the Wizard since she functions somewhere in the middle. She is just as atrocious as Simon Laurent, if not so, because she's the one who put it into numerous children's heads to kill all denizens without remorse. But she's also innocent because Simon's Sanity Slippage and refusal to change was all on him and she does not owe him anything. She is disgusted with Nena killing off wedding-goers out of boredom, but also finds that Nena is a saint compared to her brother. She sympathizes with Merlina with wanting her kingdom to last longer because Grace only did what she could cause she had no idea what to do on the Train but also notes that Merlina was being somewhat selfish in her goals. The two like how she's someone who is both sympathetic and also stern with how she thinks of them, giving her some comfort that she's not the most polarizing goddess in the Pantheon.
  • One of Grace's talents is that she's a really talented dancer, as her parents pushed her to learn many different styles. The Hall of Dance have welcomed her to perform there if she needs alone time or if she still needs to work out some issues after leaving the Train. She was practicing some old ballet movements when she bumped into another ballerina, Nina Sayers. Nina nearly went into a meltdown and slammed Grace into a mirror, but Grace quickly stated she meant no harm before the two had a talk over their experiences in regards to abusive parents pushing them into being dancers with the major difference being Nina's mother was smothering, Grace's parents neglectful and never bothered to show during a performance. They gave each other comfort over how they finally moved forward from their parents' expectations and neglect and vowed to perform a show together in the future. Nina smiled and said that it'll be "Perfect". Another dancer whom Grace befriended was the Street Fighter, Elena, who acts like a total opposite of Grace: while both travel, Elena wishes to seek out friends whereas Grace wanted followers. Grace was also surprised that someone as cheery as Elena would accept being her friend.
Elena: Did you not hear what Gentaro said? You are working on yourself, and your rhythm is one of atonemen. Why shouldn't I befriend you.
Grace: You get along well with Gentaro, huh? Are you —
Elena: Nope, Just Friends. Thanks for asking, though.
  • As her acting out and stealing a cheap bracelet was caused by loneliness, Grace has found common ground with other Lonely Rich Kid deities. She felt jealous of Nanjo over how he had someone act as a parental substitute in his butler since Grace had constant hired help that she only remembers them as a bunch of clothes. Meanwhile, she understood Adrien's position in being pushed to be a little perfect doll by their parents when it came to being a fashion model while she was to become a dancer but is at least she's glad that Adrien's bodyguard, The Gorilla, has slowly warmed up to being his Parental Substitute.
    • When it came to people who were transported to a new world who ended up botching things to a misunderstanding of what they were meant to do, she found solace with the Three Heroes and Subaru Natsuki. They all thought they were living their best fantasy lives only for reality and the world they got trapped in recognizing how selfish they were and strived to become better.
  • Avoids the House of Slaughter because it brings back bad memories of the person she used to be, killing denizens by pushing them onto the wheels of the Infinity Train without a shred of remorse. More specifically, she avoids The Jigsaw Killer, who would put her into a Death Trap so that she would learn to value her life and to understand the pain she inflicted onto other denizens. She's already gone through a horrific experience of being kicked onto the Train's wheels, thank you very much. She also cringed when she heard of Legolas and Gimli having a Body-Count Competition, as it made her recall all the "games" she and Simon used to play with the lives of denizens.
  • As someone who had neglectful parents, Grace hates every abusive parent in the Pantheon as she's come to realize that her parents not arriving for a ballet recital is relatively tame to those who throw people into volcanoes or burn their faces. Thankfully, there are just as many good parents as there are bad which made Grace break down in how stupid she was; if she had another adult figure who told her right from wrong, how much good could she have done? Thankfully, one turtle by the name of Master Oogway has shown pity on her and allows her to listen to his sermons to find inner peace.
  • Despises Emperor Belos from the bottom of her heart as she's basically everything she was times infinity. And worse, Simon supports his rhetoric to destroy everything non-human. Belos looks down on this "Void" for many reasons — being female and her racial status being the biggest ones — and states that a foolish girl playing pretend has no place in his coven. She also hates those who use mind control like Queen Chrysalis and the Pied Piper, the former for how she "feeds" off of others' love even though the Changelings get stronger by sharing it and she hates the latter finds whisking every single child away from their parents as unfair since she technically prevented the Apex from changing just to amuse her desires of idolization and love.
  • Naturally as someone who lied her ass off to make herself appear as the greatest, Grace hates liars and those who twist the truth to satisfy themselves. She loathes Svengali who actively brainwashed an innocent singer in order to gain recognition from her. Svengali brushed off the claims cause what she did is exactly the same — brainwashing children to kill denizens and not give a damn about them. She also hates Sun Li for knowingly sabotaging his students while Grace honestly (somewhat) taught the Apex how to defend themselves. She also loathes Turbo for trying to usurp Vanellope von Schweetz as the true ruler of Sugar Rush but then came to realize that she's also a hypocrite with a point; sure what she did to survive was horrible, but not only was the Train dangerous but it kidnapped children without giving an explanation as to what the hell they had to do and why they were trapped in the first place.
  • Grace was given a warning by Tulip to avoid Claire Stanfield if possible. When asked why, Tulip gave the rundown that he took his role as a conductor very seriously, and was also known to be very gruesome in torturing people, once slamming someone's head across the train tracks while the train was moving, reducing the face to raw hamburger. Grace immediately got the hint that he was more dangerous than her and dreaded the day he arrived at her doorstep...to have a chat. While he's miffed that Grace did cause plenty of harm to the denizens on the Train, he can see that she is remorseful and didn't deserve death by giant wheels. However, Claire isn't as courteous to her as she was with Tulip, stating that the next time Grace does something reckless, she'll be bathed in her own blood.
    • Lake also gave her own warnings to avoid Pyramid Head, the executioner. A symbol of guilt of murdering people, if his sights are on Grace, she's as good as dead. Grace thought that a monster with a pyramid for a head was nothing to be afraid of...until she heard the scraping sounds of Pyramid Head's Great Knife and suddenly found herself skewered by the beast then waking up in her Temple, all while Lake smugly replied,
    Lake: I Warned You, didn't I?
  • Surprisingly, Grace ended up befriending Mae Borowski. While Grace was initially weirded out by Mae being a cat, given the last cat who completely ruined everything, Grace understands how Mae is struggling with the concept of growing up in a dying town but still wants to keep living so that she could tell herself she is awesome. Mae has invited Grace to hang out with her sometimes and listen to some of the songs she and her band play, or to just talk about how "everything sucks forever".
  • As someone who walked on the road she wanted to avoid, Grace pities the three birds who warped into monsters in an attempt to save their beloved forest from becoming a wasteland. She knew what that paranoia and distrust can do to a person, knowing that she was the architect of her own downfall. She also learned of another bird who got a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy in Lord Shen and even his actions of genocide through the use of cannons was disgusting. While she did wheel Denizens, she only wheeled those who she thought would be "negative influences" on a passenger that prevented them from "surviving"...which is just as bad as if she did commit genocide since she didn't show concern of the children's feelings of destroying their partner and lying how she is their messiah. Speaking of the House of Pride and Egotism, while she tries to avoid many of the gods there for fear of them making her fall back on her growth, she did end up befriending Kuzco, as she understands his position of being arrogant before everything crashed down on him. Given how he's also been going through schooling before he can truly become emperor, the two have become something akin to study-buddies.
  • Grace learned of the tale of Coraline Jones, who had neglectful parents and ran away to a fantasy world where everyone loved her...and learned the price of staying there. Coraline explained that her parents did love her, but a deadline to a gardening catalogue and some unknown incident that got her mother in a neck brace meant they were too busy to pay attention. This made Grace double-check on how her parents might not have been as abusive or neglectful as she thought; maybe they did love her but were busy with their own lives. Maybe that incident with her stealing a bracelet was just their way of looking out for her. Maybe they were worried for what happened to her and she didn't give a damn about them. She'll never know the truth but she can at least start moving forward.
  • Has gotten divisive reactions from the Cartoon Network deities due to her actions. Gumball and the Camp Lazlo deities run away from her because she would categorize them as "Nulls". Sector V of the Kids Next Door loathe her because she's a lying, manipulative adult who brainwashed children to follow her lead (although they will work together if it comes to fighting Father). The Kanker Sisters also don't find her funny at all but they do sympathize with how she nearly died to Simon when she tried to reach out to him. Wirt has little esteem for her, since she did turn Simon into a monster and has made sure that Greg is never in her vicinity. The only deities from that circle who see she's trying to be better is Steven Universe, who has changed the hearts of the Diamonds (who have engaged in a 5000 year rampage and White Diamond being abusive to her own sisters) and Kevin Levin, who understands what it's like to become a monster.
  • She got along with Revan because both of them manipulated someone close to go down the path of evil, but ultimately recognized that they weren't responsible for how Darth Malak and Simon continued to make the bad choices that ruined their lives. Or, as Grace puts it to Simon, she doesn't owe her old friend anything. Revan hopes that Grace can ultimately figure out how to use her position to do some genuine good this time around.
  • The Equestrian gods have a complicated relationship with her. On one hand, they did forgive ponies/humans who have done worse — Sunset sent hateful emails to split her friends apart, Starlight tried to create a town where everyone followed to her totalitarianism speeches of being equal and then tried to rewind time so that Twilight Sparkle and her friends never got their Cutie Marks, and Discord enacted chaos across Equestria and briefly sided with Tirek — but on the other hand, she still did more harm than good until she was forced to see the consequences of her actions. For the moment, they're taking a friendship with her "one day at a time".
  • "I just...wanted to be noticed."

  • Five Million years ago, Universe 7 had five Supreme Kais. They were the North Supreme Kai, the South Supreme Kai, the West Supreme Kai, Shin the East Supreme Kai, and the Grand Supreme Kai. Shin was the youngest and the older four's apprentice, as they watched over the stars from the peace of the Sacred World of the Kai. Then the wizard Bibidi summoned Majin Buu. During Buu's Universe wrecking rampage, he landed on their world, and attacked the Kais. West Kai was the first to fight Buu. Despite her best efforts, she was blown to ash along with the surrounding glacier. North Kai was the next to fight Buu, and he was soon blasted to Bibidi's feet. South Kai battled Buu next. While he did much better than his peers, Buu was still too strong, and he was the first to be absorbed by Buu. As the newly formed Ultra Buu beat up Shin, Grand Supreme Kai stepped in and blasted Buu apart to trick Buu into absorbing him, morphing Buu into the passive Fat Buu. Their deaths forced Shin to become the lone Supreme Kai of Universe 7, a role he was not ready for.
  • For five million years, West and North Kai remained dead, and South and Grand Supreme Kai were fully incorporated into Majin Buu. The legacy of their deeds lived on, with their fellow Kais having fond memories of their late friends. Surprisingly, Zamasu was the most fervent in his admiration. He had heard of the menace of Buu, and the Kais giving their lives to try and stop that earned his unironic approval. To Zamasu, the dead Kais were examples of what the rest of the Kais should have been, and he decided that they were taken from the world too soon. He once more quietly gathered the Super Dragon Balls and made a wish to revive the four, fully independent of Buu in the case of South and Grand Supreme Kai. The Kais were surprised to be alive again, and were friendly to Zamasu, until they learned of his goals, and how he had committed more atrocities than Bibidi, and Buu combined. They denounced Zamasu, and clashed with him before Zamasu warped back to his temple. Despite not being the allies he had wanted, Zamasu had ascended the Kais.
  • When his peers were slain, Shin was devestated, and mourned their sacrifices for the rest of his days. Wwhen he heard that Zamasu had revived them, he warped to the Sacred World of the Kai, and had a tearful reunion with his resurrected friends. They also had a happy reunion with their fellow heroic Supreme Kai Gowasu, and consoled him on how his apprentice had gone so far astray. They also happily (if very nervously) greeted Zeno, and promised to help Shin fulfil his role as the sole Supreme Kai of Universe 7 better. That said, not all of their fellow divines were met with such happiness. The revived Kais have a rather frosty relationship with their Universe's God of Destruction, Beerus. If Beerus had actually done his job, they would never have been killed, and they are understandably taking that rather personally. They were much happier to see Whis once again, and wished him good luck in dealing with Beerus.
    • Due to the absorption of the Grand Supreme Kai, Buu was ultimately able to be redeemed after expelling the evil from himself, and becoming Good Buu. It's recently been discovered that the Grand Supreme Kai can even manifest through Fat Buu if incenses are used to bring his memories to the surface. Thus, when the Grand Supreme Kai was gifted a new body, he was happy to try physically befriending Buu. Oddly, Buu can still manifest him at the same time, to the confusion of many. The rest of the Kais are both puzzled about the above, and apprehensive towards Buu, but they are willing to give him a chance since their benevolent leader vouches for him, even if they are bracing themselves to fight Buu.
    • When Shin described the role that Hercule Satan had played in stopping Majin Buu, the Kais all endorsed the World's Martial Arts Champion, even if he isn't the bravest soul around. Similarly, the Kais offered their utmost thanks to the Z-Fighters for saving the Universe from Buu and stopping other threats such as Frieza, Zamasu, and Moro, offering to repay their gratitude by helping to unlock their full potential. The Kais were intrigued when they learned of Android 21 from Hercule, and her situation due to having Buu's cells. They decided to let her to consume them all to see if a repeat of Ultra Buu tunring into Fat Buu would happen, and neutralize her hunger. While this didn't take place, 21 did appreciate the sentiment.
  • While they were working to get on more comfortable terms with Fat Majin Buu, the Kais were stunned when the original Kid Buu warped in, having followed the familiar sensation of their Godly Ki. While Buu isn't terribly bright when he isn't Super Buu, he still recognized his past victims, especially the Grand Supreme Kai for turning him into Fat Buu. Kid Buu attacked all four Kais at once, shocking them by being far stronger than when they first fought. While the Kais managed to fend off Buu with the help of Good Buu and Android 21, they don't want to be Buu's victims again, and have been working to get stronger to combat him, Grand Supreme Kai even making a wish to Shenron to restore his true Godly Power. The clone of Buu's summoner, Babidi, is almost as despised by the Kais as he nearly got their apprentice killed twice, and even succeeded in the timeline Future Trunks comes from. While Babidi knows he stands no chance against them directly, he did taunt them with an illusion, gloating to the Kais' faces how much death their failure to stop Buu caused.
  • Of course, Buu, and Babidi are hardly the only deities within the Pantheon from their Multiverse that the Kais do not like at all. Zamasu is still furious at how they rebuked his goals in total disgust, bitterly declaring the four Universe 7 Supreme Kais to have been brainwashed by the mortals they ended up around in Other World. After Grand Supreme Kai had his true power restored by Shenron, he managed to defeat Fused Zamasu by himself. Many deities were left wondering why he didn't flatten Buu with this power, and he explained that he would have done so, if it hadn't been for the actions of Planet Eater Moro. After devouring all the life from 320 planets, Moro dwarfed the Majin Buu that Bibidi unleashed. Grand Supreme and South Kai engaged Moro, and were struggling to just survive against the wizard. As such, Grand Supreme Kai utilized Kai Kai Matoru, sacrificing the majority of his power to seal Moro's magic, allowing him to be detained. When the four Kais learned Moro was in the Pantheon, they vowed to merge together to stop him if he ever gets out of control, all of them seething with rage, including, and especially Grand Supreme Kai.
    • While Shin was attempting to rally the Z-Fighters against Babidi to save the Universe from Majin Buu, he was nearly killed by the Demon King Dabura. Recent stories have indicated that feuds between Demons, and Supreme Kais is nothing new, even hinting that the leaders of the Demon Realm are evil Core People, the species of the Kais. Regardless, they aren't happy with Dabura brutalizing Shin, and have vowed to bring him down. Oddly though they have also been seen fighting together against the likes of Buu, Zamasu, and the personification of evil Janemba. As for Janemba himself, the Kais are fuming with how he disrupted Other World, as the Supreme Kais watch over both it, and the Mortal World. The Kais have begun weaving spells to try and destroy him once and for all, though without success thus far.
    • While the Kais do faithfully abide by the policy of non-interference laid forth for them by the celestial bureaucracy, they don't attempt to hide their contempt for the monstrously evil mortals wreaking havoc through Universe 7. Their hearts broke to pieces when they saw the amount of suffering Frieza, his relatives, and his forces have caused, and they have been arguing with Beerus for him not disposing of Freiza. The Kais also have a rather personal objection to Cell, as when he attempted to blow himself up to destroy the Earth, he ended up killing Universe 7's North Kai, King Kai, due to Goku teleporting himself and Cell to King Kai's planet. Cell is quite jealous of the Kais as they all crushed him like a bug. Cell has been training to try and surpass the Kais, and destroy the Sacred World of the Kai out of spite.
  • It goes without saying that the Supreme Kais have a very tumultuous relationship with the god killers in the Pantheon. While many expected them to be terrified of the likes of Gorr the God-Butcher, and the Saint of Killers, the truth is actually more complex. While they were appalled by the sheer carnage the two god slayers caused, especially Gorr, as one of their followers is one of Gorr's most famous victims, their emotions grew conflicted when they learned how many of the deities Gorr and the Saint killed absolutely had it coming, especially with the most recent iteration of Gorr. They are a more negative to the Saint, as his status as a Sociopathic Soldier makes them worried that he could be swayed by Freiza against the Gods of Universe 7, and beyond, on top of his less sympathetic origins when compared to Gorr. While they aren't in any hurry to fight either of them, they have decided to try extending an olive branch to them for the sake of others.
  • The beautiful Sacred World of the Kai serves as the Kais' temple. As per its name, only people who are directly invited by the Supreme Kais can visit, and while on their world, the Kais live peacefully. At least they would, if evil god-slayers didn't keep coming to try killing them. The Nameless God came first. The Kais were horrified by how he defiled souls, and shoved gods into his basement purely out of jealousy, and quickly expunged him. When Sutehk heard of the Kais, and their connection to one of his strongest foes, Beerus, he invaded the Sacred World of the Kai to kill them. The Kais and Beerus put aside their mistrust to fight him off. After this, the Kais started weaving greater wards around their world to prevent more invasions.
  • While they were alive, the Kais, including Shin, were known as the "Watchers of the Cosmos", due to their peaceful observation of the worlds they worked to forge, as per their status as the Gods of Creation. Rosalina took notice of this element of the Kais, and visited their world with Comet Observatory. The Kais happily received her, being intrigued by her usage of the power of the stars, as well as finding the Lumas to be adorable. Uatu the Watcher found many parallels with the Kais, both due to their sacrifices against Moro, and Buu, and their mandated neutrality when the God who is unbound by such things is Beerus. The Kais related with how helpless Uatu can be to protect the worlds he watches, and while they are more closely adherent to their own neutrality, they do admire how when the chips come down, Uatu will bend his oath to save people.
    • Normally, the Kais would coordinate with their Universe's God of Destruction to get rid of overly destructive mortals, and other monsters. While the Kais have been willing to bend this rule against Moro, Babidi, and others, they tend to adhere to it closely, so they have tremendous respect for divine entities who aren't bound by such rules, and use their powers to actively defend Mortals. The Goddess of Light, Palutena, and her Angel, Pit, are near the top of that list. The Kais greatly admired the sacrifices that they have made to defend the Earth, and the Heavens from the likes of Hades. The two offered their utmost praises in turn for the Kais giving their lives to try and stop Majin Buu, as well as their proactivity in stopping Moro.
    • Conversely, as the Kais adore divine beings who do their job and protect Mortals, they loathe divine beings who pervert their domains, and harm Mortals. When Palutena, and Pit informed the Kais of Hades, it was hate at first sight. Hades unleashing monsters from the Underworld reminded the Kais of Bibidi, and his desecration of the afterlife reminded them of Janemba. Hades finds the Kais to be very aggravating as they are individually at least as strong as him, if not stronger, and they are happy to slay his godly lieutenants. They also stand highly opposed to the Elder God Shinnok, as the Netherrealm has similarities to Other World which the Kais also safeguard, and they didn't appreciate his perversion of it.
  • While the Kais are known for getting killed by Buu, and struggling with Moro, they are still extremely strong, much more so than Shin. The Demons that make up the Ten Commandments are terrified of the Kais. Both of their settings run on a power level system, and every Supreme Kai could one shot an untrained Freeza with a finger, when his power level is 120 million, a level so far beyond all of the Commandments put together it isn't even funny given how quick the Kais are to engage evil Demons. Lord Tirek and Mard Geer Tartaros both share this opinion, as the Supreme Kais singled out both for being like Moro. Both villains were horrified to learn that someone as strong as Moro cannot drain Supreme Kai magic, as seen by his inability to stop Kai Kai Matoru, when Moro's baseline utterly eclipses Tirek and Tartaros at their best. While the Fallen Angel Raynare doesn't fear the Kais, she is incredibly jealous of how much their divine power exceeds her own. Of course, while they are very strong, they aren't the brightest candles around. When Shin asked why they didn't fuse to combat Moro, or Buu, his mentors looked at him before admitting it didn't occur to them to do so.
  • Thanks to their deaths at the hands of Majin Buu, the Kais greatly revile similar entities such as the Dark Matter Horde. Seeing Dark Matter swallow world after world in shadows horrified the Kais, and they quickly took action when the Horde attempted to taint Other World. They found a great deal of struggle as while their Magic was effective, most of their Ki attacks wasn't. Fortunately, they didn't need to hold back Dark Matter, as a certain pink puffball helped fight them back. The Kais were quite intrigued when they saw how similar to Buu this friendly little gumdrop was, and they were happy to befriend them, even being fascinated with how similar Planet Popstar was to the Sacred World of the Kai.
    • In the aftermath of the Kais befriending the Super Tuff Pink Puff, they were introduced to some of Kirby's sisters in arms in fighting Dark Matter: The Sailor Guardians. The two groups quickly took a liking to each other, with the Kais seeing the Senshi as being the Magical Girl equivalent of the Z-Fighters who defeated Buu and Moro, and the Senshi seeing the Kais' creation of new worlds through the universe as being akin to the creation brought upon by the Galaxy Cauldron if it had active agents of its will. The two groups have frequently been found visiting each others' homes and happily trading stories or sharing feasts.
    • Their friendships with Kirby and the Sailor Guardians led the Kais to growing to despise the likes of Fecto Forgo, and Chaos. The Kais have the most direct loathing for Forgo due to it sharing Buu's ability to absorb people, and Buu's singular drive to destroy everything, a sentiment Forgo enflamed by trying to slam a planet into the Sacred World of the Kai. Chaos meanwhile, earned the Kais' disgust for possessing Sailor Galaxia just like Dark Matter, and forcing her to become a force of devastation that rivaled Moro. The Kais especially loathe Chaos' desire to infect the Galaxy Cauldron to pervert new creation.
  • Amongst the many dieites within the Pantheon, the only ones that the Kais truly fear are the two near almighty knights, Galacta Knight, and Morpho Knight. Galacta Knight horrifies the Kais for his unbelievable destructive power, effectively rendering him a being who is even more powerful than the Gods of Destruction, but with the mind of Kid Buu. Even with knowing how he can be sealed away, the Kais are too frightened by him to actually try. They also tremble in fear at the sight of Morpho Knight due to the Butterfly targeting beings who have been revived from death, or cling to life, including ones as strong as Galacta Knight, and the Kais dread Morpho Knight effectively Hakai'ing them.
  • As the Gods of Creation, the Supreme Kais were meant to work alongside Beerus to get rid of old dead worlds and make space for new vibrant ones. As such, the Kais respect deities relating to creation and destruction who help people and do their duties, such as Sailor Galaxia, and the Lake Guardians. Galaxia is who the Kais wish Beerus had been, as she would have killed Moro, and Buu. The Lake Guardians help balance out the Creation Trio to prevent their powers being used for evil, and despite being godlike beings themselves, they suffered at the hands of Cyrus, just as the Kais were indirectly killed by Bibidi. Conversely, the Kais despise deities who pervert the balance between creation and destruction, especially Chakravartin, and Yuuki Terumi. While the Kais individually stand no chance against Chakravartin, as with Moro, they are prepared to fuse to fight him. Terumi was furious when he found that North, West, and South Kai could defeat him as a team, and Grand Supreme Kai could defeat him by himself if he has all of his power.
  • Due to being killed or absorbed by Buu, the Kais inadvertently left their responsibilities to the woefully unprepared Shin, and they are deeply saddened by how much their student and friend struggled after their passing. As such, they drifted close to God, and Bruce Nolan. They pity God's struggle with his job, and have offered to try and help take some struggle off his shoulders, though he turned them down. Bruce himself earned the Kais admiration for how selflessly he acted while in the role of God, with Bruce returning the sentiment for how noble and selfless the Kais were with their own sacrifices, and efforts to be noble deities. Alm and Celica also earned their praise due to the duo helping to lead their respective nations out from under their own dying Gods, like how the Z-Fighters took up the task of defending the Universe.
    • When Mithra heard of how the Kais sacrificed their lives for the sake of the universe, just as her father did so, she extended a hand of friendship towards them, an offer the Kais accepted. The Kais also grew close with the Acolyte and the Radiant Goddess after meeting them while reporting to Zeno. Both figures are also watchers of the stars, as well as former mortals taking over for another deity, and their hearts broke when they heard of how the Kais were killed by Buu. The Kais also share their appreciation of food, and happily accept the Acolyte's pancakes. Archangel Michael is also deeply sympathetic to the Kais due to one of his iterations having to take the place of God after God gave his life fighting Trihexa.
    • Some of the Kais' more unexpected friendships were formed with deities known for slaying Gods. Recently, Kratos has tempered his rage, became a truly noble figure, and even made peace with some Norse Gods, having grown to respect truly noble deities. Asura heard his daughter's praise of the Kais and became fast friends with them, seeing them as the heroic foil to the Seven Deities. The Kais admire both for their shift into kind figures despite their grim backgrounds, and also like Asura becoming a noble Destroyer God. While Bayonetta is famous for felling Jubileus, she does work with divine entities who use their power for good, and related to the Kais' struggles with Bibidi, due to Bibidi reminding her of Loptyr.
  • Much like the five lower Kais in Universe 7, the Supreme Kais have a dynamic in the vein of The Four Gods, even if they don't directly reference them. The Kais have four cardinal Supreme Kais (including Shin), and then the Grand Supreme Kai who stands above them all. When the Kais heard of the Four Holy Beasts, they were intrigued and quickly befriended the four Digimon. The Digimon were surprised when they learned how the Kais were felled by Majin Buu, but still appreciated their dedication to their job. Oddly, thus far only Universe 7 has shown itself to have four cardinal Supreme Kai, and one Grand Supreme Kai, and Universe 7's Kais are only referred to by their titles, even by Shin. When asked why this is... the Kais opt to not answer.
  • While the Kais are mainly known for powerful Magic, and welding the power of creation, like most other people in Universe 7, they utilize Ki, and forms of martial arts in fighting. When Po, and the Furious Five heard of the Kais, they were intrigued, and introduced themselves. The Kais were more than happy to invite them back to the Sacred World of the Kai upon hearing of their many great deeds, and decided to teach them much more advanced ways of utilizing Chi, lessons that all six warriors happily began attending. When the Xiaolin Dragons learned of Po, and the Five's new teachers, they decided to ask what the hubbub was about. When Po, and the Five vouched for them, the Kais were happy to tutor the Dragons in place of Master Fung, and help unlock their full potential. The Kais also appreciated the similar dynamic the Dragons had to them, right down to their most recent iteration including their own equivalent to Shin.
  • Grand Supreme Kai:
    • The Grand Supreme Kai, also know as the Great Lord of Lords or Daikaioh, is the highest ranked Kai in Universe 7. He's a very large, friendly, and wise deity who loves his Universe, and its people. 10 million years ago, Daikaioh sacrificed the majority of his Divine Power to seal away Moro's magic, and would ultimately be absorbed by Majin Buu, reverting Buu into Fat Buu. Despite this, he is actually still able to be brought forth within Buu with special incense. After he ascended along with his friends, he was happy to make new friends of the many other deities present.
    • To the surprise of no one, Daikaioh quickly befriended the likes of Iroh, Master Oogway, and Master Yoda. Like Iroh, Daikaioh is an incredibly powerful fighter who is unimpeded by his girth, but who prefers peacefully enjoying food to combat. Like Oogway, Daikaioh is a wise mentor to his younger pupils who used his powers to seal away an incredibly dangerous villain in the distant past. Like Yoda, Daikaioh is a friendly, and silly being who fought against a threat to all the stars. He frequently invites his three friends to have tea with him on the Sacred World of the Kai.
    • Po took to Daikaioh the most out of all the Kais due to their similarly loving natures, their talent at martial arts being unimpeded by their size, and their appreciation of food. Crane also took to Daikaioh due to sharing his gentle nature. Both Po and Crane were delighted to listen to Daikaioh's tales of fighting Moro and Buu. Daikaioh has also decided to mentor Omi more personally, hoping to help tame his ego, lessons that he is happy to see Omi has taken to due to Daikaioh reminding him of Master Fung, and so Omi is eager to make Daikaioh proud with his progress.
    • When Kai heard of someone who shared his name as a title and who was friends with Oogway, his curiosity was piqued, and he decided to investigate. He managed to witness Daikaioh battling Moro, only to be horrified when he witnessed Daikaioh once more utilizing Kai Kai Matoru to strip Moro of his stolen Energy and Magic. Kai was so terrified due to knowing that if he was hit by such an attack, it could wipe him from the Earth due to needing his stolen Chi to remain in the Mortal Realm. In fact, as Chi is the thing holding his soul together it could even erase him from existence.
  • South Supreme Kai:
    • The South Supreme Kai is the second strongest of the Universe 7 Supreme Kais, and became the strongest and sturdiest of them all when Daikaioh sacrificed most of his power. South Kai's brawn and general appearance attracted the attention of Wreck-it-Ralph, and Zangief. While they stand no chance against his Divine Powers, they do still happily indulge in comparisons of physical strength with South Kai, which South Kai embraces warmly, and the three relate to each other's goofiness. South Kai has even offered to unlock their potential to level the playing field in the physicality competition.
    • Out of all of the Kais, South Kai is the most devoted to training as he enjoys the thrill of a good brawl. Because of this he and Tigress hit it off extremely well, the Kung Fu Master testing the progression of her own skills by seeing if she can make him move. Clay of the Dragons also took to South Kai due to respecting his magnificent strength, and also sharing South Kai's appreciation of a healthily sized meal. South Kai was greatly impressed in both of his pupils, and happily treated them to a feast.
    • When South Kai fought Buu, he was in a rocky crag. While he was tutoring Clay, he was attacked by Yuuki Terumi in a similar area. South Kai fought Terumi into a cave, where he tried to use Clay as a shield. It was then that Terrakion attacked Terumi, helping South Kai drive him away and save Clay. Afterwards, South Kai felt a link with Terrakion, admiring his might and courage just as the Legendary Pokemon admired such traits in South Kai. As the two conversed, they felt more and more in sinc, and thus Terrakion finally found a partner as he declared South Kai to be said partner.
  • West Supreme Kai:
    • The West Supreme Kai is the sole female Supreme Kai of Universe 7. West Kai is notable due to her being the most popular of her peers amongst the fanbase. She was shocked to hear of a story where she became a villain, which she quickly disavowed. Still, she was tentatively curious about others with similar statuses, and her exploration of this led to her hitting it off with Peggy Carter. West Kai was intrigued when she heard Peggy's tale of a timeline where she became a Super-Soldier and fought an entity like Buu, and they traded tales of their respective efforts to leave a positive change for their successors.
    • West Kai has more to her than being a woman. She's quite courageous as she was the first to battle Buu, a trait that earned the Dragon Kimiko's admiration, and she happily learned from West Kai. West Kai also has a mischievous streak, and she loves playing pranks on her peers, especially South Kai. To aid her friendly pranks, West Kai has been working with Monkey for his skill at hiding things. The two once managed to prank the other Kais, and Terrakion by hiding their food, something they all found hilarious.
    • Due to being killed in a glacier, West Kai dislikes cold places, and she loathes beings like Buu who rule those places. While she was heading to meet Uxie in Lake Acuity, West Kai saw Ithaqua, and Elsa. Ithaqua was attempting to make Elsa his Queen, and he had grabbed her. West Kai already pitied Elsa for her struggles with protecting her people and the cold, so she swooped in and pulverized the Great Old One. As Ithaqua fled into the night, West Kai declared that Elsa would never have to worry about Ithaqua again as she would keep a protective eye on her, something Elsa is deeply greatful for.
  • North Supreme Kai:
    • The North Supreme Kai is seemingly the oldest of the Universe 7 Supreme Kais. Much like Daikaioh, North Kai is a mild mannered and laid back deity who enjoys fishing in his free time. He also happens to be one of the deadliest swordsmen in all of Universe 7, being talented enough to get in a bifurcating hit on someone as fast as Majin Buu. When Irina Shidou, and Xenovia Quarta heard of North Kai, they were filled with admiration for their fellow blademaster's bravery, especially when he, much like their version of God, gave his life fighting a Universe devestating abomination.
    • Despite, or perhaps even because of his mild mannered temperament, North Kai has opted to tutor Mantis, and Raimundo, despite both of them being hyper active and aggressive warriors. The two have been working to hone their aggression, and Raimundo in particular is happy to learn swordsmanship from North Kai. Viper has also taken to North Kai quite a bit, finding the Kai to be very agreeable in attitude, even enjoying North Kai's fishing as he gives her some of his catches.
    • North Kais significant skill with the blade attracted the attention of Dracule Mihawk. Mihawk was intrigued when he heard of a true deity who specialized in wielding a blade when his peers did not, and his curiosity piqued when hesaw North Kai clashing blades with Dabura. Mihawk stepped in as North Kai bested Dabura, and challenged the Kai to a duel of blades. While North Kai was puzzled by Mihawk's desire to fight him, he ultimately accepted. Mihawk was thrilled with his foe, as North Kai's divine blade refused to break. After the two fought to a draw, Mihawk informed the Kai of his respect, and walked home satisfied.

It kinda feels like a tribute to Akira Toriyama to have a new Dragon Ball deity ascend.

Getafix, God of Druidic Sickles (Panoramix)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g32b_5084.gif
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: A golden sickle.

  • Domains: Knowledge, Good, Cunning, Potions, Loyalty, Languages,
  • Allies: Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix, Cacofonix, Unhygienix, Chief Vitalstatistix, Cleopatra VII, Malfurion Stormrage, Once-ler, The Smurfs, Elsa la Conti, Friar Tuck, The Hall of Healers, The Hall of Physicians,
  • Enemies: Marcus Junius Brutus, Vinsmoke Judge, The Mad Doctor, Prince John, The Weird Sisters,
  • Worthy Opponent: Julius Caesar.
  • Rivals: Doctor N. Brio, Plague Knight,
  • Disliked by: Dyntos, Hephaestus, Rodin.
  • Respects: Yen Sid.
  • Of interest to: The members of the halls of Fields of Science, Scientists and Geniuses and Drugs and Pharmaceuticals, Leshy.

  • Getafix is the Indomitable Village's druid, former teacher, a wise old man who's gives advice to the villagers. He is capable of creating many potions using both science and magic with various effects such as healing wounds and erasing memories. He is well known for using his Golden Sickle to gather any ingredients he needs such as Mistletoe for his potions. He is the only person who knows what the recipe is for the magic potion that gives the Gauls their powers.
  • The houses of Science and Magic have been trying to reverse-engineer Getafix's Magic potion from Obelix's fluids, to no success. So they decided to have the Magic Potion's creator ascended in order for them to get the formula from him. In order to do so they poisoned Vitalstatistix with some of Unhygienix's fish. Counting on the fact that Vitalstatistix would call for Getafix to cure him. Getafix arrived at the Pantheon and used his Golden Sickle to collect the ingredients needed to cure Vitalstatistix. Now that Getafix was in Pantheon, the houses of Science and Magic immediately made sure that Getafix god the role of God of Druidic Sickles in order to ensure that Getafix stayed in the pantheon as a permanent member.
  • While Getafix has not stated what the full recipe for the magic potion is, he has let slip what some of the ingredients are. Some members of the halls of Fields of Science and Scientists and Geniuses are trying to recreate the magic potion. This has led them to ordering Mistletoe cut by a golden sickle, a few roots, four leaf clovers, fresh fish, rock oil, beetroot juice, carrots, salt, and lobster. Getafix has suggested not using rock oil because beetroot juice works better and is better for the environment.
  • The recipe for the magic potion is only found in Getafix's brain. The knowledge of the recipe has been passed from druid to druid through word of mouth. Therefore the only people in the Pantheon that Getafix could pass it to are the Druids Malfurion Stormrage and Leshy. However Getafix only intends to tell his successor as the Village's druid the recipe, so he will not tell either of them what it is.
  • One problem that Getafix still has to deal with despite ascending into the Pantheon is Obelix trying to get a taste of the magic potion. Getafix keeps reminding Obelix that he can't have any since he fell into a cauldron of magic potion as a child and when he drank a cauldron of magic potion he turned to stone and it took all of Getafix's skills to get him back to normal. Despite that fact Obelix still keeps trying to have a taste of magic potion, when Getafix refuses to give him he tries to disguise himself as someone else with a different hat called Xilebo. Getafix always sees through Obelix's disguise so he doesn't give him any magic potion, this does lead to Obelix wondering how Getafix managed to see through his disguise.
  • The other Indomitable Gauls in are grateful for the magic potion, they are well aware that they wouldn't stand a chance against the Romans without it. Getafix in turn is grateful that Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix are willing to go on adventures to rescue him, get some ingredients or get him a new Golden Sickle. He likes that the Gauls can release some stress by having a fish fight as long as there is still some fresh fish left for the magic potion. Getafix has been seen having meetings together with fellow members of the Village Council Cacofonix and Chief Vitalstatistix in order to ensure that any major problems are dealt with.
  • Among Getafix's various creations is a potion that makes acorns grow trees quickly once they are planted in the ground. This immediately interested the Once-ler who hoped that Getafix could do the same for the Truffula seed. He was planning on using the seed to grow a new Truffula wood to try to repair some of the damage the Once-ler has done. Unfortunately for the Once-ler the potion doesn't work outside of the Pantheon or Getafix's home world, so he can't use it to fix the damage the Once-ler has done to his world.
  • The tree growing potion is of interest to the members of the House of Plants who are using it to grow lots of trees. There were a few mistakes in using the potion, several deities just poured it in a hole with nothing happening with Getafix explaining that they needed to treat the seeds with the potion. Others had put multiple treated seeds in same hole creating hybrid plants. The Smurfs were asked to be careful with the potion, incase they accidentally end up at the top of a newly grown tree.
  • Many members of the Pantheon were worried when it came to light that Getafix was Cacofonix's predecessor. Thankfully Getafix explained to them that he was Cacofonix's predecessor as a teacher not as a bard. After hearing that the House of School suggested that Getafix could teach some lessons just like Cacofonix does. Getafix agreed as long as he didn’t have to give lessons on what ingredients are in his Magic potion.
  • Among Getafix's new friends in the hall of Religious Practice his closest friend is Friar Tuck. Both are kindly priests of a religion who are willing to stand up to tyrants and are willing to fight if need be. They have shared various bits of knowledge with each other and discuss various topics. This did leave to an attempted kidnapping of Friar Tuck under the false belief that one of the bits of knowledge that Getafix had shared was the recipe for the magic potion, however the kidnappers were unsuccessful because Getafix had given Friar Tuck some Magic potion. Much to Prince John's annoyance since he was the one that sent the kidnappers.
  • Getafix is glad that Elsa understands that just because some demons are evil doesn't mean that all are. Getafix pointed out the fact that he doesn't hate all the Romans just the evil ones he understands that most of the Roman soldiers as just regular people doing their jobs. They have both been seen going together to the House of Nature to find some plants with each offering their knowledge of plants to the other. Getafix did get into a bit of trouble with her when he guessed her age at being twenty years old, rather than her actual age of being always fifteen years old.
  • Getafix dislike people like Judge, the Mad Doctor, who use their knowledge for evil means. He points out that they should use their knowledge to help people rather than hurt them. They did try to trick Getafix into sharing with them the recipe of the magic potion, however Getafix was wise enough to see through their trick. So Getafix decided to play a trick on them, he gave them a recipe for a real magic potion but this magic potion doesn't give people super strength instead it cause rapid hair growth for a day. This led to Judge and the Mad Doctor having hair longer than Rapunzel.
  • Getafix has earned the dislike of Rodin, Hephaestus and Dyntos for not using their impressive forging skills and instead choosing to go with the sickle maker Metallurgix. Getafix says that he would prefer someone who specialises in making sickles rather than someone who doesn't even if they are gods. He also doesn't want Rodin to turn a demon into a golden sickle because the demon's powers might interfere with the powers of the golden sickle, which might cause side effects in the ingredients he harvests with it. He is willing to have Dyntos or Hephaestus forge a cauldron for him to use, but after saying that their skills are not good enough for Getafix to have them forge a golden sickle they refused to help Getafix, so Getafix decided to just have Asterix's follower the Indomitable Village's Blacksmith Fulliautomatix make one.
  • Cleopatra is expressed with the skills he used to help the Egyptian architect build a palace for Caesar as part of a bet between Cleopatra and Juilius Caesar. Juilius respects him for creating a magic potion that lets the Gauls defeat his troops but he dislikes the fact that this potion means he has never been able rule all of Gaul. Getafix's wisdom has allowed him to see through all of the schemes that Caesar and his minions have tried to defeat the village, unfortunately Getafix is one of the few villagers that can see through the scheme straight away.
  • Since ascending Getafix has picked up a few rivals in the art of potion making. Plague Knight is impressed with Getafix's potion making skills but he thinks that his potion bombs are superior to Getafix's magic potion. Dr N. Brio wants to use Getafix's knowledge to make his potions more lethal but Getafix has refused. Dr N. Brio also wants to find out which is better his mutagen or Getafix's magic potion.

@ForgoLight If I may make a last-minute suggestion, maybe the Supreme Kais would feel sympathy for Team RWBY and Team JNPR for how the Gods of Light and Darkness caused so much harm for their world. Namely, cursing Salem with immortality in order to force her to respect the balance of life and death, leading Salem to go down a dark path, and also forcing Ozma/Ozpin to oversee humanity and guide them to their idea of harmonius balance. The Blacksmith in the Ever After reveals however that both gods failed to understand that balance has to come naturally and cannot be forced. If you can add these, you can add my [tup].

@Muun: For the ESP Club, aside from the psychic Sabrina and Matilda Wormwood, there are the psychic aliens Tony and Tia Malone as well as The Syreen of the New Alliance of Free Stars.

@Snailfish: Woody of Neighbours From Hell would oppose Bill and set up pranks on the old man. Wouldn't be good if he got caught, but Woody's already pretty good on not getting caught. That said I can see his enemy Rottweiler obliviously grabbing and eating one of those apples given his reckless nature. Applin is an apple-related Pokemon, Snow White ate a poisoned apple once.

@RJ: The VUX would be rivaling bigots since they also hate humans for being really ugly. Hody would respect Octogeddon for actually attacking the human world and succeeding, though it's only when he's mad at humanity for petty offenses to octopi and isn't interested in Hody's agenda otherwise.

[tup] for Grace.
