Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Fortnite Island, Holy Seat of Battle Royale Game Modes (Reality Zero, the Island)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/365c34b7_a83f_4efd_8794_45a1a3207d98.jpeg
A map of the island in its heyday (Codename: Athena).
Codename: Apollo
Codename: Artemis
Codename: Asteria
Codename: Helios
  • Description: An island with many different biomes, where 100-man battle royales are held.
  • Symbol:
  • Theme Song: Dance Moves
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good (with True Neutral trappings)
  • Portfolio: Battle Royale Game, Added Alliterative Appeal for various of its points of interest, Expansion Pack World, Merged Reality ("Asteria"), Completely different island every chapter for each new chapter of Battle Royale, Wide Open Sandboxes
  • Domains: Adventure, Combat, Weaponry.
  • Sacred to: Every single LOOPERS involved in the Island, The Nine Mercenaries, Damon Killian, Scarface, Mephiles, Thor, The various assorted Guest Fighters that have appeared on the Island.
  • Unholy to: All Deadly Game participants that haven't appeared on the Island yet.
  • With all of the Pantheon Landmarks (and by extension, the Holy Lands Project), there are many battle arenas in the Pantheon, but none that host 100-man Battle Royales, and Fortnite Island was brought in as the Dominion for Battle Royale Game.
  • While the Island (codename varies) primarily serves as a training simulation for the non-Loopers, due to the fact that nobody in the "Loop" truly dies in Fortnite, recreational use is also permitted.
  • Many events have occurred in the Island’s history, divided into Chapters and several Seasons (Cx Sy for short). Most (if not all) of the major ones can be found (Chapter 1 only) or https://youtu.be/Q_gDxO6bqvE (mostly first 3 chapters) here.
    • In Chapter 1 Season 3 of Fortnite, a shooting star appeared in the sky that later turned out to be several meteors, all of which hit the Island.
    • Think that was enough? In the next season, even bigger meteors hit the Island! Government facilities were built in the crash sites, with one of them hiding an alien cocoon.
      • Later that same season, the cocoon opened as an alien emerged, broadcasting to the entire Pantheon (and on Earth in summer 2018) before setting off a rocket, presumably to get back home. (But not before leaving portals in time.)
    • Soon, various items came out of the portals, and after all cacti in the Island were destroyed, lighting came out of a portal and spawned a giant cube.
    • The giant cube soon began to move, leaving Nordic runes in its path before ending up in Loot Lake, assimilating itself with the water and turning it purple.
    • At the beginning of C1S6, Loot Lake became a Floating Continent, sapping energy from the runes and then moving on to the next.
    • Once the cube reached full power, it sank back into Loot Lake and unleashed a beam of light, sending the Husks across the Island.
    • After five days of nonstop zombie/Husk attacks, the cube set off a giant explosion that reset the entire Island, with Loot Lake being replaced by Leaky Lake in this new universe.
    • In C1S7, a giant iceberg hit the Island, covering a significant portion of it in snow as visitors set up outposts.
    • The iceberg then melted, revealing a castle underneath, releasing the Ice King (no, not that one) from his slumber, and after reaching his full power sent the entire Island into snow.
      • But at the same time, while most of the Island were thawed (leaving a snow biome), a man with Volcanic Veins was released from his icy tomb in the castle, causing a volcano to rise up, C1S8 had begun...
    • Due to the change in landscape Pirates came to the Island in search of treasure, resulting in a Mêlée à Trois between the three factions.
    • One day, the The Men in Black uncovered a vault underneath Loot Lake, and it opening not only revealed a nexus orb named Zero Point for the first time, but also caused the volcano to erupt and destroyed Retail Row and Tilted Towers while a man called Jonesy and a giant banana (which he then turned into a smoothie) fled to an bunker until they managed to get to The Future, where the destroyed areas were rebuilt as Neo-Tilted Towers and a Mega-Mall.
    • Thought we were done with the volcano? Because it awakened a Kaiju that rampaged across the Island until a Humongous Mecha was built to fight it, exposing the Zero Point, which cracked and cracked until it finally broke, sending the Island back in time to the exact moment before C1S4 began… and then some.
    • You know how basically everything tried to destroy Loot Lake in C1S''X''? Well, they were sent by a group called The Seven, who sought to destroy the orb to break the Loop, launching another rocket and making even more time portals before a black hole emerged and sucked in the entire Battle Royale program, it seemed that Fortnite as a game was done with.
      • …Until the mainframe was rebooted, merging our version of the island with another, resulting in a familiar, yet different version of the Island. "Athena" was no more, the new Island, codenamed "Apollo", was free to drop in.
"I was not alone. Others are outside the loop. This was not calculated. The Nothing is now inevitable."
    • Soon, a group called E.G.O. arrived, setting up safehouses in search of a secret bunker, the new, alternate Island prepared for this and created Evil Knockoffs of the E.G.O. called the Alters, locked in a battle over the mysterious bunker... Come C2S2 and the battle turned into a war between GHOST and SHADOW, which involved Deadpool… and culminated in a powerful device accidentally causing a massive flood in C2S3.
  • To absolutely no-one’s surprise, virtually all Deadly Game participants loathe Fortnite and it’s contemporaries, seeing it as a glorification of their hardships and refuse to go near the simulations. The receptions after they tried the simulations were... mixed.
  • As they are Ax-Crazy lunatics that hail from a Denser and Wackier shooter much like Fortnite, The Nine Mercenaries have the time of their lives on the Island, as it lets the mercs shoot the crap out of people while not actually being any danger to the Pantheon.
    • Similarly, The Classic Team enjoys combat on the island, though they only do it to kill time between missions rather than to just kill people like the Modern Team does.
  • Damon Killian has been investigating the Island is a potential site for his Revival of The Running Man, which the vast majority of deities agree should be the case, as long as all other sites also have Non-Lethal K.O. mechanics (something Damon does not approve of).
    • Similarly, Scarface has considered using the Island as a hunting ground, as he has joined up with Killian due to sharing a common enemy and his overall Blood Knight demeanor.
  • Kilian Experience made a video on Fortnite involving building a staircase to the skies to give the number one spot to someone who rightfully deserved it. In actuality, it turned out to be a Very Special Episode about the dangers of drugs and empathy.
Kilian: Having empathy for other players? What a loser! So always try your best in a videogame or you will be sucking dick for heroin!
  • The gods were suprised to learn that Mephiles and Thor of all people are fans of the simulations, especially since Thanos was featured quite prominently in Fortnite.
    • In light of the last hope of the Jedi during C2S1, Emperor Palpatine broadcasted his message to the galaxy through the simulation, this only alerted the Pantheon to the Emperor’s location and lead the gods to wonder why one of the most infamous villains of all time used a training simulation as a means of drawing attention to himself.
  • After the flood of C2S3 ended, Marvel (Reality-616) and DC (Reality-52) deities directly stumbled upon the Island, which eventually complicated things even further, such as Zero Point going haywire throughout C2S5 (only brought in more beings from other realities) and echoed into C2S6 (due to a phenomenon known as Zero Bloom, followed by more wildlife afterwards), the invasion of a faction known as the Last Reality (for the remainder of Chapter 2), flipping "Apollo" to reveal "Artemis" (thus kick-starting the Chapter 3), an all-out war on the island itself in C3S2, and so on...
  • As with any good franchise, many have played Follow the Leader to Fortnite and created their own Battle Royale Game, and thus deities from Battlefield, Call of Duty, Fallout, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure enjoy battle on the Island.
    • It's noted by the Pantheon residents who ever heard of Fortnite that it (surprisingly) took so long for the Island to arrive at the Holy Lands. Those who completed in Battle Royale took interests on the Island and all its incarnations, and so did the likes of Galactus (who once tried to harness the Zero Point in C2S4), the World Warriors and various Shonen Jump deities (due to some of the ascended fighters has grazed the Island at various point since Chapter 2).
  • The Island's arrival not only gathered suspicion from all of the Grand United Alliances and other notable deities, but also brought in countless iterations of the Island from past, present and future much to the Pantheonic confusion. (Why can it be another omniversal connection when Trope Pantheons is already omniversal by nature?) Despite the rocket launch has been broadcasted in the entire Pantheon!
    • It didn't help as the Island arrived after The Last Reality's actions at the end of C3S4, paving the way for the Zero Fusion into Chapter 4, which drained away nearly all of the Zero Point energy in the nexus or itself, to the point is petrifying the Nexus orb altogether.
    • After a joint investigation (in a full-blown, apparently never-before-seen alliance between all GUAs), they found out the true nature of the Zero Point: it is a nexus orb that is where all of reality (Pantheon possibly included) apparently sprang from. It cycles through countless realities per second and can be used as an infinite power source or as a bridge to other realities. It appears to have an outer hull/shell surrounding and containing a central core, consisting of dozens of tendrils of pure energy, with the ability to open portals.
      • The discovery caused mass panic among the entire Pantheon, that lasted four roughly 22 minutes (coincidentally the same as an average "Loop" in the Island). The GUAs and co. had to use a Cosmic Retcon-induced relief to calm the entire Pantheon down and reveal the existence of Reality Zero (the Zero Point, its workings, and the Island itself).
    • Deadpool was chosen by the Mythbusters and GUAs and co. as a demonstrator, to see whether if touching the (active) Zero Point in the Pantheon space result in glitching into everywhere in the omniverse, including all over the Pantheon and the entire Dark Multiverse, like has happened before the Island arrived in the Pantheon. The myth was confirmed, as the Merc With a Mouth was briefly teleported to everywhere in existence itself as expected by Fortnite lore, though he's respawned in the House of Health and Diseases. When asked what he witnessed upon the Zero Point, Deadpool made several reference and confrontation about both pop cultures and obscure matters, up to and including the likes of witnessing all of Video Game/ Super Robot Wars all at once, inside famous historical figures' minds throughout both Real Life and Alternate History at lightspeed range, and... being hunted and pursued by the Charter from ''House of Eternal Return''.
    • The Reality Zero discovery made by GUAs and co. has spawned a massive conspiracy theory that the entire Trope Pantheons was, is and will always be just a colossal, continuum-spanning Elseworld to the existence itself, as it shows the those outside Pantheon as well as the non-ascended versions of the Pantheonic residents. None of the alliances have any comment about this.
    • The discovery also spawned rumors of the Dark Multiverse's versions of Reality Zero, that which involves the Island being ruined in one way or another, most notably the corruption or permanent destruction of the Zero Point, and the final victory of the Last Reality coming earlier than in canon. Bruce Wayne of Earth -22 (also known as the Batman Who Laughs) reacted to the rumors by expressing his twisted desire to return to the Island, this time to abuse the Zero Point and with that, awaken the Pantheon's Dark Multiverse, which only cause those who hates him to hate him even further. Though speaking of the "Apollo" incarnation of the Island in actuality, He Who Laughs enjoyed making a killing out of it. He remembered eliminating the hell out of the Loopers there. He Who Laughs remains a contention regardless the Island, which is understandable after what he has done to the DC Multiverse through his antics in and out of the Dark Multiverse.
  • The Guest Fighters (i.e. collaborations, promos, etc.) were asked of their experiences with the Island, of which their replies matches that of what was in-game at their time with Reality Zero and co. Alongside Marvel Comics (and by proxy, Marvel Cinematic Universe), DC Comics (and by proxy, The DCU, DC Extended Universe and Series/Arrowverse), Street Fighter and then some, tons of peoples from both real life and fictions, some of which are on the Pantheon, had spoke up differently. Through being on Fortnite did the Guest Fighters not already ascended learn about the Pantheon, which only fueled conspiracies and rumors, and supported the theory of the Pantheon itself being an Elseworld to the entire existence altogether.
  • It was widely known at this point that the Island gets massively reformed or otherwise changed in each finale (Chapter Finale, if you wanted to be specific), leaving a whole new map in its wake. with how constantly the Island changes, some of the Pantheonic denizens suggested going meta and put the entire Reality Zero in the Hype Prevention Sandbox altogether. Cue a facepalm from Wikipe-tan and Trope-Tan each.
    • The partial exception to this, however, due to Time Travel, was the return of the "Athena" in the season dubbed OG, named after the fact the original Island was returning.
  • Eventually, reports had it some certain crew stealing a Time Machine to extract a certain thing. Multiple sources reveals:
    • In C4S3, The Ancients, as well as Optimus Prime were trying to warn Dr. Slone (formerly of Imagined Order) about the arrival of enemies, more formidable than before, and an impending event that would collapse Reality Zero (i.e. the Island). However, Slone and the The Explorers rebuilt the Apparatus, which prophesied the eminent arrival of The Eclipse.
    • The first enemy to arrive, tied to the Eclipse, turned out to be a man known as Kado Thorne, a vampire with a rift-powered Time Machine who brought his Estates (Eclipsed Estate, Sanguine Suites, and Relentless Retreat) and Guards to the Island. Kado used his rift-powered Time Machine to collect artifacts from different times and events, throughout the previous seasons such as the Golden Egg, Mythic Goldfish, Midas' Drum Gun, The Foundation's MK-Seven Assault Rifle, Oro's Skull, as well as other items such as Kit's Shockwave Launcher.
    • Optimus Prime's words made Slone come to a conclusion; that she can use the Time Machine to find a key detail in the past, that will secure a better future for this reality. Slone called for a professional heister named Nolan Chance, who she thinks can help her steal the Time Machine from Kado. Slone also managed to recruit The Looper to assist with the Eclipsed Estate Heist. Nolan and The Looper managed to get Antonia, Fish Thicc, Piper Pace, Mae and Khaby Lame to also join the crew for the Heist.
    • As of Fortnitemare 2023, the heist mostly failed, as Kado transformed into his Revenant form, but with the main accomplishment being the successful theft of the time machine and its rift-powered battery, in part thanks to due to the Looper and Shimmerdusk taking him out. The crew then stashed the time machine at Frenzy Fields (just outside of The Getaway), where Slone and Jones started to study and experiment on it. They use the machine to bring many items from C1S5 as a test, such as the Tomato Temple Head, Durr Burger, Dusty Diner Sign and more. Eventually these items disappeared from Frenzy Fields with Jones and the Time Machine itself, with the Season 5 items appearing in the real world.
    • Jones used the Time Machine to travel in the past of Reality Zero at the beginning of C1S5 for an extraction mission. However this past seems to be altered as there are notable differences. Certain characters don't exist and their roles are filled by other characters, such as: here the Renegade Raider is Lynx, Ragnarok is the actor who played the role of the super villain Omega and the master of ice cream is not Lil' Whip but Peely. Any change in the past will affect the future, so what does the future hold?
      • This new timeline, dubbed Season OG, was a point of debate among the entire Pantheon, and for good reasons. For starters, Kado Thorne's time machineSPOILERS  malfunctioned, resulting in everyone being sent back in time and causing a disruption in the flow of time, explaining the difference.
      • Said disruption also explains why the Loopers went from C1S5 to C1SX in the span of no more than one month instead of more than a year as they used to. This did not go unnoticed by those that participated on the various incarnations of the Island before.
    • Optimus Prime was quickly questioned by various Deadly Game participants for not only his appearance on the Island (C4S3), but also how he motivated Alone into traveling back in time, risking timelines itself. The Autobot leader simply rephrased his words from the Island...
Optimus Prime: Yes, the key to their future lies in their past. The answers lie deep within the starless void that brought them... and some version of some of us.
  • It's confirmed that Zero Point doesn't have any normal alternative timeline version: the ones featured throughout Pantheon therefore has to be the same one appearing multiple times over.
  • One day, the Chapter 4 one (codenamed "Asteria") suddenly flicked with light, and glitched, much to the worry of the Pantheon denizens. Then the Island quakes and rapidly turned into itself and the dual-sided ("Apollos"/"Artemis") and the original ("Athena"), and then... exploded into rifts, which then turned warm in colors and then coalesces into a galaxy-like vortex. The Zero Point exploded in the process, and released similar vortexes with varying colors. All the vortexes is then circled with things from tons of... worlds, mainly originating outside the Pantheon but also including some props that's present in Pantheon. And those energy tendrils — nothing unseen at this pointnote  — now connect the vortexes together. The Zero Point now appears to be in the middle of them all for real, and Reality Zero is Nothing Is the Same Anymore at this point. As beautiful as it all is, the GUAs actually panicked at the sight of the whole thing — out of fear that the Cosmic Retcon will interfere everything they're doing, as well as the Pantheon itself.
    • Indeed, a few of such tendrils actually connected with both the Dominion and the Main House. Some vortexes even littered the skies of the entire Pantheon, and most of them leads to outside the Pantheon altogether, giving the potential opportunities for those not ascended to visit the deified fictional residents.
    • It is revealed that the whole Island glitch thing is due to the completion of the extraction mission that started on Season OG, bringing the way to the Chapter 5, with an entirely new Island (codenamed "Helios") and the previous ones stuck in the previous points of the Hypertime, in between reality and Retconnian. After Jones strapped the time machine into the rocket and somehow removed Kevin and the floating island out of the way, the rocket launches, vanishes into a rift, then other rockets emerge from that rift to draw the meteor into another rift, which is then guided down into Loot Lake, causing the loopers to fly into the air and reality to implode... but that's where the similarities to Chapter 1's conclusion end. Both the rocket (as it's launching) and the meteor (as it falls into Loot Lake) randomly transformed into other objects during their travels, and instead of a black hole, things culminate in a massive Big Bang of swirling, oscilating energy, from which emerges the Looper and a whole lot of other things (including a Fall Guy). The Looper is soon drawn into a galaxy-like vortex that takes takes them and three companions to a LEGO-themed version of the island. After a couple minutes of gliding around and taking in the sights, the Looper and co. are pulled out and enter another world — a racing-oriented reality with a few rocket... cars. One lap around the track later, and the squad are taken to a third world, where they land on a concert stage currently playing host to Eminem. Everyone jams out to "Lose Yourself" until a giant counterpart to the Real Life rapper, "Marshall Never More", arrives on the scene and pulls the Looper and co. into a post-apocalyptic realm, whereafter he starts singing "Godzilla" as he rampages. After that, the Looper is pulled out for a final time, now left adrift in a galactic sea of worlds... hence the whole Island glitching in the first place.
    • All that comes C5S1, where a Jonesy (specifically called "Vengeance Jones") wanted revenge on the Society for keeping his friend Peely hostage, and led his Underground team to the train and the day. Specifically, a Looper works with "The Underground" to take back the Island from a secretive force called "The Society" and rescue Jones' pal Peely. Among the The Society are the five bosses (being fightable NPCs in-game) — one of which is Peter Griffin, vaults owned by The Society that can be opened for loot, and a continuously-travelling train run by The Society with a replenishing loot chest onboard for Loopers to heist. The Loopers and the Underground were eventually able to cause infighting amongst the Society, weakening them; by that point, the Turtles got their steps into the Island, alongside their Sensei, their reporter and even their nemesis, among others.
    • The Batman Who Laughs, however upon learning about the Island glitching, plan to hijack the Big Bang to make the extraction fail and thus making all of existence (including the entire Pantheon) vulnerable and unstable as to allow He Who Laughs himself to awaken both the Dark Pantheon and the version of reality existence where he won. The fact that the complete destruction of the Zero Point would end all existence across a full timestream made He Who Laughs' case (Read: intefering with the Big Bang itself as the Darkest Knight) even worse and more morbid, even to the GUAD as a whole (if due to them being completely annihilated alongside the rest of the Pantheon altogether).
  • The recently-formed galaxies by the new Big Bang (as the GUAs calls the event as) serves as gateways to other worlds and Multiverses, even to the rest of the Houses and the Dominions Expansion. While the Battle Royale cooled off from the case of the omniverse for the time being, the members of GUAs, with the exception of the GUAD (obviously due to their obvious destructive mission), decided to traverse to the galaxies way, starting with the other flagships. The LEGO one automatically turned everyone stepping in into LEGO minifigures, much to the amusement of those who previous have been rendered as minifigures before. The racing one supplied a ton of racing cars of various shapes, none of which can fit YHVH at all, as YHVH himself is usually too large overall]]. He didn't care about it, while much of the rest actually raced at least once before departing. The musical one actually saw the members seeing a pure portal of rift (made of the same kind of energy tendrils found in the way) leading to the House of Musicality, in the middle of jam and fest no less, so no member brothered to check in any further.
    • Malal was baffled at seeing the Reality Zero right above the Retconnian, his domain, fearing that the discontinuity would become irrelevant at the end of the day. The connection between the Zero Point and Hypertime as theorized and speculated didn't help. However, those who're Deader than Dead comforted him again, calming the twisted Justice Chaos God down. Meanwhile, Brainiac cringed at the connection between Reality Zero and the Retconnian, recalling when his actions with previously defunct iterations of DC Universe ended up re-canonizing all of them and set the stage for the return of the Infinite Earths.
    • The GUAs members, having finally seen exactly what's outside the Pantheon as a whole, decided to tell The One Who Doesn't Exist to protect the outside, preventing the Pantheon from bleeding into actual canon itself in addition to keeping the non-canon eliminates of fiction from breaking out. Malal now has to do a double-duty as an Overdeity (though he stays a Greater God outside of the Retconnian in particular and the canon matter in general).

I'd like your [tup]s.

First draft of the Iron Throne. What royalty or leadership would voice their opinion on the value of it as a seat of power? Who else has experienced a similar kind of seat/something like it of authority?

The Iron Throne

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/iron_throne_9.png
Top: officially illustration of the Iron Throne, bottom: live-action version of the Iron Throne.
  • Appearance: A big, unwieldly throne made out of swords welded together. How unwieldly depends on the continuity
  • Class Level: 6 (3 if ranked by its geopolitical influence)
  • Museum Check: Granted
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Portfolio: "A King Should Never Sit Easy", Made From The Blades Of Those Who Surrendered To The Conqueror, Cool Chair yet Awesome, but Impractical, Throne Made Of Swords, Has Dealt With Many Challengers To The Throne
  • Domains: Royalty, Swords, Conquest, Hardship, Authority, Dragons, Conflict
  • Creator: Aegon I "The Conqueror" Targaryen
  • Claimants
  • Source of interest: Most, if not all of Westeros to some extent
  • When Aegon Targaryen conquered Westeros, he wished to make the perfect throne as a representation of power and responsibility. Crafted with the fire of Balerion the Black Dread with the swords of his defeated enemies, it is an intimidating and intentionally uncomfortable throne so as to remind the king "a king must never sit easy". Some leaders took that to heart, and some did not. Viserys I dealt with some infections from cuts. The seat of power in the Seven Kingdoms, eventually including Dorne, it has naturally also been the focus on civil wars and succession crises. Though unwieldly and sharp, as this symbol of authority it holds a sway on Westeros like few other items.
  • The Iron Throne had initially been part of the treasury, but following its reconstruction was lost. Having being melted down by Drogon Bender Bending Rodriguez was hired to pull a time heist given his experience with some exquisite booze as payment, wish he managed to sneak it back from when King Robert was still alive in the mortal plane, but avoided changing history because the time-code corrected paradoxes and he knew not to interact with a past Bender. Unfortunately he also went back to steal the booze and take the throne for himself, and found himself on the end of Sir Ilyn Payne's chopping block. However he was able to put his head back on easily, and didn't bother fighting because he was feeling lazy. Robert found the whole thing funny and since he has a double of the Iron Throne it doesn't really matter.
  • There are two Iron Thrones. One is the aforementioned time copy that Bender stole from the Game of Thrones show, and the other is the more impressive and far more unwieldly book version. It's "on loan" because so many claimants were busy fighting over it and responded with "fine, get it over with" so they can get back to squabbling. Both incarnations of the Iron Throne have a new problem in the Trope Pantheon; the Halls of Swords and Thieves. Some the former Hall consider it a waste of swords and want to try and reclaim it with the latter's help. Fighter McWarrior was perhaps the most vocal about it, and had to be distracted with the premise of an Iron Sword-Chuck Throne before he could convince Thief to steal it.
  • If any deity rightfully deserves to sit on the Iron Throne, it is Aegon the Conqueror. Not that he wants to; part of why he permitted its loan to the Great Treasury is for people to get the point of the throne again. Ironically, the only two other ascended deities with unambiguous legitimacynote  are Aegon the Unworthy and Aerys the Mad...and if we want to consider right of conquest, Robert. Robert's best friend Ned Stark recognizes the gravity of the Iron Throne and felt that making it more of a museum exhibit might get people to rethink their priorities on the most uncomfy yet important seat in the land. As his "bastard"/adoptive son Jon Snow is likely the rightful claimant since infancy, there's a fair amount of personal reasons for this.
  • In order to make it more comfy upholsteries and pillows were put on the Iron Throne, only to be thrown off by Spider Man. He did this to remind people Aegon I made it very clear that it's uncomfortable status is meant to be symbolic of how kingship is a burden, not a privilege. He's sick to death of people thinking it's a prize to be won. The rest of the House of Royalty either agrees with him, fell into the same trap much of Westeros has, or are cheeky and bring up their own throne. Settra is one deity who has a fourth opinion; it is a demonstration of the Conqueror's domination and as much as force of it symbolically as the dragons were physically. When asked if he thinks that more so than the burden, his response was harsh but on point.
Settra: "The history of the Iron Throne is louder than Aegon's words, wise as they were".'
  • Some think that the Iron Throne is a valid enough concept for other swords and weapons to be made into a throne inspired by the appearance of the Iron Throne. When asked if he considers this "plagiarism", Aegon the Conqueror calmly replied "not at all. In fact, I encourage your attempt at making a pastiche". Rhaenys decided to make it a contest, in that whoever wins the contest will get a sword of Valyrian steel. The majority of the contest was done from the House of Weapons. Unfortunately the contest was soured when Palpatine fused a bunch of Jedi lightsabers into a throne as a means of humiliating the fallen Jedi. However it wasn't canceled.
    • The ultimate winner of the contest wasn't surprising; it was the Hall of Swords. They wanted to make an Iron Throne out of the different types of swords they had to spare on this project. These include a black sword by Dracula Mihawk, a katana by Samuel Rodriguez, a Sword Cane by Kisuke Urahara, a scimitar by Xiahou Dun, machete by, well Machete, a rapier by Orie and a bunch of uniquely shaped swords by Proyhas and Vambre Warrior. Given all the money they spent making their Iron Throne pastiche, the Valyrian Sword might not have been worth it.
    • Plenty of Khorne idolizers tried to make "skulls for the skull throne!", which immediately got a "nope!" from Aegon and his queens. They're conquerors, but ones with a vision and a government in mind. They look poorly on those who conquer for the sake of it, or just as a means to fight and die. That's not to say they won't consider a macabre, bone-based throne if it's done in a way that respects the dead, at least by the culture that made it. The Dancing Skeletons tried turning themselves into a Walking Ossuary in the form of a throne, but collapsed from exhaustion before they could finish "the Iron Bone" for the contest.
    • The Hall of Firearms collaborated with the Hall of Ranged Weapons to make an Iron Throne parody using guns, bows and other firearms. The Heavy wasn't content with it merely being ornamental, and acted as mechanic to ensure that it can still be used to shoot people. There was an attempt to get a flamethrower added, but someone made the mistake of reaching out to the Pyro. Their firearm copy of the Iron Throne is already even more impractical than the original, so not adding a flamethrower was probably for the best.
    • Bill Cipher made an Iron Throne, but the swords on closer inspection had screaming faces. And the blades seemed...sort of organic. And kind of alive. Immediately he was disqualified, though Joffrey and Maegor went "wait, let's see what else they can do". Zone-Tan was also instantly disqualified for making the swords of her "Iron Thrust" dildos...only for Littlefinger to buy it off her. Not that he's into it, he just thinks it'd be a good centerpiece for the brothel he owns. Robert thought the whole thing was hilarious, by the way, and wants to give it to his brother Renly as a prank/gift.
  • Some are of the opinion that it should go to Maximum Security instead, seeing it as the source of devastating civil wars for it a means of which deranged tyrants like Maegor and Joffrey, or selfish gits like Aegon the Unworthy can abuse power. It's even been compared by naysayers as Westeros' answer to Sauron's One Ring, which he, surprisingly enough, thinks is BS. Maybe he just sees the comparison as a slight to his ego, but points out the Iron Throne's corruptive influence is metaphorical at most; it's more the authority it embodies, which inevitably encourages greed and envy. Varys probably said it best; power resides where men believe it to reside. The One Ring is a magical force of evil, but at the end of the day the Iron Throne is merely a mess of smelted together swords for the king to sit. That said, the idea of it being a symbol for the pull of avarice and pitfalls of power is still a talking point in the House of Philosophy.
  • Princess Bean has grown enough to realize the responsibility the harsh blades of the throne is meant to convey. She still thinks it's more trouble than it works, and she knows that from experience after seeing some poor sod unceremoniously impale himself on a similar throne. A common superstition amongst the Iron Throne is that being susceptible to being cut is an indicator of an unworthy ruler, but she scoffs at as the nickname of "King Scab" for a certain Mad King can easily be explained by "stcience"note . She's also exasperated by the rumors that Maegor was killed by the throne itself, as it'd make way more sense if either someone used the throne's blades to off him or he used it as a form of suicide to avoid capture.
  • Though he understands the sentiment behind its design, the Emperor of Mankind still finds the Iron Throne a gauche monstrosity, readily flexing his Golden Throne was far better. Given it actually has vast powers he has a point, but he mainly seems to go on about how gold is a way cooler color and material for a throne. The Conqueror's response? "I can still get out of the Iron Throne". The Emperor lost interest on talking about the Iron Throne afterwards. So why did he even bring it up? Mainly annoyance at Joffrey boasting that he has the best throne in the whole Trope Pantheon. Even putting aside it doesn't really belong to him in the first place anyone with a shred of responsibility thinks he's the complete inverse of the kind of person the throne was built in mind. He tends to have anyone that says that to him executed, sometimes getting cut on the throne slamming his fist in rage.

[up]Sora has been depicted sitting on a throne made of Keyblades, and would likely be appalled at the death the Iron Throne causes due to how many covet it.

Also, Khorne sits atop a throne of skulls and would doubtless be pleased with the amount of war and strife happens due to the Iron Throne.

So far this is what Dragonlord’s page look like, any suggestions to make the page better or further expand interaction and relationships with other characters?

I am the Dragonlord, master of masters, king of kings! Long have I awaited this moment. Come! Take thy rightful place at my side! Do so, and I will grant unto thee dominion over half the world!

Dragonlord, Dragonic God of Villains of Offering Co-Rulership

  • House: Evil Actions

  • Theme Song: The Dragonlord and many of its variants
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Portfolio: Deal with the Devil, Exact Words, Flowery Elizabethan English, Transform into a dragon, Nonstandard Game Over
  • Domains: Dragons, Monsters, Final Bosses, Transformations
  • Subordinates: The Slime Family, The Goombas
  • Allies: Bowser, Ganondolf, Maleficent
  • Rivals: King Piccolo, Sephiroth
  • Enemies: Arusu, Eight, Nine, The Luminary and other Dragon Quest heroes., Mario, Cloud Strife
  • Opposes:Steve and Alex, every human members of House of Craft, Saruman
  • Opposed by: Spyro, Princess Peach, Anakin Skywalker, Beatrix LeBeau.
  • Feared by: Prince Charmles

  • The son of the Dragon Queen, Dragonlord stole the Sphere of Light and used it to engulf the kingdom of Alefgard in darkness and kidnapped Princess Gwaelin to be locked up in a cave. He would then control army of monsters to bring Alefgard to his knees. However, he would later be confronted the Scion of Erdrick. Despite transforming into a powerful dragon form, Dragonlord would be slain.
    • In an alternate universe, the Scion of Edrick made the fatal decision of accepting Dragonlord’s offering of ruling half of the world with him. But Dragonlord ended up simply locking him up in a small castle called half of the world before covering Alefgard in darkness and used a spell to remove the ability to create from humans which he seen as an act of mercy since he believes that through creation humans are rebelling against their fate. The local deity Rubiss had the Builder to help restoring humanity’s ability to create and build, with the Builder later even attacked and take down Dragonlord after restoring humanity’s ability to build and create.
  • Having been heard of Pantheon, Dragonlord hatched a plan to ascend to it. Offering half of the world to one of the Pantheon god in change of Dragonlord’s ascension, one of them foolishly accepted Dragonlord’s deal and since then was never seen again meanwhile the Dragonlord now has became a member of Pantheon. Due to his preference at manipulation in general is about offering people to rule the world together, Dragonlord was chosen to represent We Can Rule Together.
  • Once Bowser has heard of Dragonlord’s ascension, they became quick friends and allies since used to play a game together and that they both had kidnap princess before. It get to the point that they sometimes collaborate with each other and sharing some of their minions. Thus, Dragonlord has some Goombas among his ranks too.
    • Due to Dragonlord’s history of kidnapping Princess Gwaelin, Princess Peach quickly became wary of him, meanwhile Mario is quick to declare Dragonlord to be a potential enemy. Recognising both of them, Dragonlord seen both of them as a potential threat to his ambitions in world conquest too.
  • The Slimes are glad to see one of their master’s ascension, and quickly many of them followed Dragonlord. However, it seems that the slimes from Boingberg were afraid of him. Dragonlord seems to dislike the idea of the slimes having their own island since he think they should be under his order. So far, Dragonlord is looking for a way to defeat the tanks that defend Boingberg.
  • Unsurprisingly, the various Dragon Quest heroes are quick to oppose him, with special mention going to Nine, as he had crash with Dragonlord in a grotto before back in their home universe. Meanwhile Arusu is disappointed that the son of the benevolent Dragon Queen turns out to be evil. Having been told by the Heroes of Dragonlord’s action in their home universe, Cloud Strife seen him as an enemy too.
  • Since Dragonlord always disliked the action of human building things, he quickly launched an attack towards Steve and Alex, due to how much they enjoy crafting and building things. His monster armies were able to dealt sizeable damage to their creations before getting repelled. For similar reason, Dragonlord also dislike Saruman due to his action of building various factories to create his army. But not wanting to provoke the wizard’s ally, Sauron who also lead a massive army of monsters, Dragonlord so far hasn’t do anything towards Saruman yet.
  • Having heard of Dragonlord’s ability to transform, Maleficent decided to ally with him too due to both of them being able to transform into a dragon. Dragonlord also allied with Ganondolf for similar reasons with Dragonlord actually feeling impressed by the latter. Due to their alliances, Link seen Dragonlord as a new issue too.
  • Having heard of another evil dragon’s ascension, Spyro has been keeping an eye on him. Meanwhile Dragonlord is generally confused why Spyro isn’t interested in world conquest.

[up] His divine title (currently "Offering and Co-rulership") can be rephrased to "Villains Offering Co-Rulership" to be more clear about the definition of We Can Rule Together. Since it's a villainous trope, it would better fit in Evil Actions than Character Actions.

In the Theme Song section, his theme song should be referred by its official name (which seems to be "The Dragonlord").

In the Allies section, "Ganondorf" is misspelled as "Ganadorf". It's also linking to the wrong page as his profile is in Villainy.

In the Domains section, "The First Final Boss Who Can Transform" is far too wordy for a Domain item, which are usually one or two words. "Transformations" would be more concise. A better way of phrasing the Domains section would be "Dragons, Monsters, Final Bosses, Transformations".

[up][up] Darth Vader offered his son the chance to rule together... and naturally, Luke rejected it. Also, since he's the master of slimes, I can imagine him having some relationship with Beatrix LeBeau.

Who was doing Truman again? Because I have two more interaction ideas for him:

  • Fuhrer King Bradley (of the Homunculi) was raised from birth to be part of a Government Conspiracy, and thinks the only choice he got to make in life was his wife.
  • Viola of Messaline (from Cassette Beasts) had a brief existential crisis when she learned she was a fictional character in some universes.

Ight, got another proposal, only one this time:

  • Octodad for Paper-Thin Disguise: An Octopus disguising himself as a "normal" human, complete with a family. Octodad's disguise soley consist of his suit, with all his octopus features in full display. The joke of the game is that this disguise works wonders, as nearly all the game's characters are fooled by it and only a few suspect otherwise. The profile itself needs a touch-up due to incredibly short and underutilized texts.

@Rainbow: So the upper parts of Fortnite Island's flavor text is full of too many small blurbs and additions. I would recommend expanding or combining such flavor text to be consistent with the lower parts of the profile.

@RJ: The Five Elders have a similar kind of throne decorated with swords known as the Empty Throne, named such as it is "empty" to symbolize that no single individual has complete power over the world. Though there happens to be someone who does sit on that throne anyway.

@Tadi: The Dark Dragon is the first evil dragon in his world, wanting dragons and other magical beings to reign over humans, and is also known for making Join or Die demands to his enemies. He'd be a rival to Dragonlord I believe. The Dovahkiin and the Dragon Hunters go after all evil dragons in the Pantheon.

Another draft of the Eco-Villains, made after I changed their proposed trope to be Ecocidal Antagonist.

Zarm was added since he fits the new trope. He's essentially the Evil Counterpart to Gaia who represents the cruel warmongering and destructive side of nature, who got the last planet he visited to destroy itself in a great nuclear war, and believes that Virtue Is Weakness. He tries to manipulate or corrupt people into becoming warmongers, and almost succeeded with doing so to the Planeteers.

Done with most of the group interactions but need to get started on the individual interactions.

  • When it comes to protecting the planet's environments for the betterment of both nature and mankind from ruination, there's always a bad bunch that stubbornly gets in the way of helping the environment. The Eco-Villains in particular are proud of it, always up to no good when it comes to the wildlife and well-being of the planet. Whether it's creating more pollution, threatening the destruction of precious biomes and lands, or other shady business deals, they are concerned with nothing but their own greed and ambitions, if they're not doing it all just because they can. Without anyone else to oppose their business, the Planeteers as guardians of the planet are always on the lookout for their schemes to minimize their damage to Gaia's world. Even with all the resources they have, the Eco-Villains find their fun stopped by these heroic adolescents, but then again, having the powerful Captain Planet on their side is a significant game-changer that keeps turning the tide against these dirty dealers. Regardless, these folks just can't bear to compromise their own gains for the sake of the environment, continuing their feud against nature itself.
  • The Eco-Villains saw the Pantheon as another new place to spread their polluting work into, with Looten Plunder among the first to try and make a mark on the Pantheon, but the Planeteers and Captain Planet himself had been there as well to ensure that no surge of pollution would go under their watch. With the House of Nature among other deities associated with the environment hot on their tail, the initial attempts to wreak havoc were stomped down upon. Inevitably, Looten Plunder went on to bring in the rest of the Eco-Villains with the purpose of getting payback against the Planeteers and spreading their ambitions across the Pantheon, even getting the likes of Zarm involved. With their reputation for blatant and malicious ecocide in their schemes, they easily defied themselves as the representatives of wicked nature-destroying polluters, threatening the environment with every maniacal plot they thought up and every physical plot of land they sought to take for themselves. With their polluting powers united, they intend to turn the Pantheon into their own playground for the sickening works of toxic, nature-wrecking pollution.
  • Amid the Eco-Villains' attempts to gather together for the sake of properly opposing the Planeteers, they noticed one major and bothersome exclusion. One of the major Eco-Villains, Sly Sludge, and the representation of environmental harm caused by ignorance, negligence, and wastefulness (in many senses of the word), was nowhere to be found when the Eco-Villains made their way into the Pantheon. Unlike the other Eco-Villains, Sly Sludge, while causing problems with his sludge-filled waste disposal businesses, was lacking in malice, and mainly polluted due to being short-sighted and lazy in his methods of waste disposal. As such, his opposition to the Planeteers was all out of ignorance and not bothering with finding better solutions. This all came to a head when the Planeteers ended up educating Sly Sludge on better ways to make money through legit and eco-friendly business, and once Sly Sludge was enlightened on recycling and more ethical forms of waste disposal, the man was an Eco-Villain no longer. Like slime and smog, his new direction towards an eco-friendly future stuck, and the Eco-Villains were sorely disappointed that Sly was no longer willing to collaborate with them. Considering that he was once the wielder of the ring of Smog, this complicated some of their means of facing off against the Planeteers, but they did eventually figure things out despite losing a valuable member.
  • The Eco-Villains plotted to use the Rings of Destruction for the purpose of unleashing Captain Pollution onto the Pantheon, but with Sly Sludge no longer being on their side, they decided to collaborate with similarly despicable villains who were both capable of using such rings for themselves and with enough distaste and antipathy for the environment to have the power of the combined rings manifest into Captain Pollution. After much deliberating and negotiating with suitable candidates for the Rings of Destruction, the Eco-Villains decided to introduce Captain Pollution through a plot to wreck and devastate the House of Nature, beginning their plans already. All at once, the Eco-Villains were causing trouble with their usual schemes at other locations in the Pantheon, which split up the Planeteers as they tried to handle all of them simultaneously. While the Planeteers managed to take each one down with some help from their allies, Gaia felt dread as a group of villains approached the Hall of Nature Preservers, and as the Eco-Villains' initial set-ups were taken down, they all announced the start of their actual advances against nature, and the domains within the House of Nature echoed with the phrase: "Let our polluting powers combine!"
    Derek Powers: Super radiation!
Dr. Fetus (via a computerized voice on his machine): Deforestation!
    Hexxus: Smmmmog!
    Mr. Burns: Toxics!
    Dr. Weil: HATE!
Captain Pollution: By your polluting powers combined, I am... Captain Pollution!
    • Despite being far away from the action, the Planeteers were able to hear "GO POLLUTION!" and realized too late that Captain Pollution had risen once again, and with the affinity of the new wielders of the Rings of Destruction, more powerful than ever, first demonstrating such by overwhelming the Hall of Nature Preservers with his powers, and also absorbing the pollution created by the machines the villains had prepared in wait to grow even stronger. As Captain Pollution began to wreak havoc within the House of Nature, the Planeeters managed to get together and summon Captain Planet, but even Captain Planet would find himself in an uphill battle against the empowered Captain Pollution. It took not only the Mediators of Nature working together to hold back against Captain Pollution, but various other gods of nature and the recovering deities from the Hall of Nature Preservers to get in and also deal with the new wielders of the Rings of Destruction, also joining in, attempting to destroy the Planeteers themselves. But as environment-protecting deities and other deities of the House of Nature united, Captain Pollution would eventually be taken down by Captain Planet gaining an equal footing through the unity of the deities protecting the House of Nature, and eventually vanquished Captain Pollution, though it wouldn't be the last time Captain Pollution would manifest in the Pantheon. Zarm, watching the spectacle from afar, was surprised to find himself legitimately impressed by Captain Pollution and the alternative wielders of the Rings of Destruction, snarking that the Eco-Villains themselves had a lot to learn from them. As for said wielders themselves, while they were disappointed in their defeat, they found the potential of the Rings of Destruction as worth the hassle, and freely keep them for their own advantage.
    • For wielding the Deforestation Ring, Dr. Fetus was chosen due to his destructive and bloody rampages through the ecosystems, cutting down not only swathes of trees but also unfortunate animals in his way. With all of his factories and industries, Dr. Fetus found the deforestation abilities of the ring as suitable for him, using it to continue his hobbies of cutting down forests and building new death traps for Meat Boy. While Looten Plunder had other ideas for representatives of Deforestation, he had to admit that Dr. Fetus was dedicated to his work and in harvesting the fruits of the lands to his liking.
    • Duke Nukem ended up giving the Super Radiation Ring to Derek Powers, who had many practical reasons to take the ring, not only to both enhance his powers, but to also have control over his radiation powers when he doesn't want to burn off his artificial skin with his own abilities. Blight also thinks that the ring is frankly wasted on the dumb Nuclear Mutant that is Duke Nukem, and thinks that the ring is better off in his hands. That said, Duke Nukem does relate to Blight given that they're both stuck with their status as radioactive people, and finds his work and his capability of destruction as impressive enough that he doesn't mind letting Blight use the ring to his liking.
    • The Ring of Toxics ended up going to Mr. Burns, being well liked due to his ruthless and eco-unfriendly corporation, and his success as a Corrupt Corporate Executive, getting along well with all of them. Though he owns a nuclear power plant of his own, he found the appeal of the Toxics Ring as more appealing to his interest of finding new ways to torture employees who fail him, and on occasion Homer Simpson. He also found Verminous Skumm's drugs and other chemical creations to be amusing and even fun, also finding Verminous Skumm's rat army to be pretty cool. While Skumm doesn't like humans all that much, somehow he feels that with all the malice and inhumanity within Mr. Burns, that the executive may not quite be human, and has mutual approval of Mr. Burns' evil plots. That said, to this day, Mr. Burns thinks that Skumm is eternally wearing a very convincing rat costume.
    • The vacant Smog Ring couldn't have gone to a more fitting villain, with Hexxus, a Spirit of Destruction who loves pollution, directly vouching for himself as the only worthy wielder of the ring. Finding the Eco-Villains' work to be delightful, Hexxus easily made allies out of all the Eco-Villains, and Hexxus ensuring them that with the Smog Ring in his hands, worrying about Sly Sludge's departure would be a thing of the past. Once Hexxus proved to be capable of actually being able to wield the ring despite being made of smoke, oil, sludge, and other forms of pollution, the Eco-Villains were satisfied to have such a powerful spirit of pollution on their side. Being the god of pollution in the Pantheon, Hexxus out of all the substitute wielders works directly with the Eco-Villains the most in their efforts to turn the Pantheon into a Polluted Wasteland.
    • It took a long time for Dr. Blight to choose a potential wielder of the Hate Ring, wanting someone who passionately hated the planet and nature as much as she. Not even Dr. Fetus was considered worthy of it in her opinion, and Dr. Blight was very picky for choosing a representative of Hate. While looking over members of the GUAD, the other Eco-Villains were discussing another villain they were afraid of: Dr. Weil. They had discussed how vicious he would be to work with, and while they liked how he turned much of the world into a wasteland, his reputation as a horrible tyrant who brought cruelty to machines and humans alike, wiping the majority of both groups out, with a wicked hatred for just about all of life itself. For Dr. Blight though, all of this dreadful talk on Dr. Weil sounded lovely to her. What she was a truly brilliant and vile scientist whose hatred could match or even surpass her hatred, and decided that Weil was worthy of the Hate Ring. Given that most of her comrades were too afraid to do so, she personally visited Dr. Weil herself, to work out an alliance between Weil and herself in the means of ravaging the world and the Pantheon with their science, finding Weil's work to be delightful to her eyes, and while Dr. Weil would normally deem himself as above the likes of the Eco-Villains, he found Dr. Blight's willingness to set aside not just nature but humanity and life itself in the pursuit of her ambitions, Weil decided she would be a worthy ally in particular, taking the Hate Ring for himself. That said, Weil is frankly weirded out by her flirtations with her computer assistant MAL.
  • Commerce-wise, people like Looten Plunder who normally have a decent foothold in their world's industries are struggling in the Pantheon's House of Commerce due to a lack of reputation as a result of their blatant disdain for nature. That said, there are some unscrupulous businesses who don't really mind how eco-unfriendly they are, usually due to being just as worse themselves. The Glukkons, who have already turned most of their world into a bleak realm of pollution and decay as a result of their industrialization, find the Eco-Villains to be decent partners to work with, and even let them hire Sligs to work for them. Of course, Abe the Mudokon frankly wasn't happy at the development, and sneaks into the Eco-Villains' place to torment them, usually by using mind control on one of them and creating chaos amongst themselves. He does have to stay away from Zarm though, given that as a spirit himself, he's immune to such control. And while Morris is also known for caring less about the welfare of nature, he doesn't want to publicly involve himself with the Eco-Villains for pragmatic reasons, and insists on Joja Corp being a rival business to them, though he definitely isn't much better than them. The Eco-Villains also hire the business-themed Cogs as robotic labor to work for them, since with the increased prevalence of environmental awareness, finding human laborers to employ is pretty difficult for them in the Pantheon otherwise.
  • When it comes to masters of ecocide that have been overall more successful at their work than the Eco-Villains, they unsurprisingly got along with certain incarnations of Robotnik, like his SatAM adaptation who successfully conquered most of his planet and even began turning people into robots, all while reducing nature to a mere sliver of its original beauty with all of his nasty pollluting factories. For his success at making it big, the Eco-Villains tend to respect Robotnik at his most vile and oppressive acts against nature, and of course, this also meant that the Eco-Villains themselves would be despised by Sonic and all of his allies, given that Sonic himself stands up for the oppressed animals who are victimized by Eggman and his machines, and sees the Eco-Villains as more wicked threats in need of a great humbling. Chairman Drek's work in looting and devastating entire planets for his own benefit, while faking the pretense of doing so for his own planet, impressed the Eco-Villains by the sheer scale of his work, and regularly cooperate with him, though this is also due to wanting to reap from the benefits of his operations out of pure selfishness.
  • The Eco-Villains are banned from the House of Beasts and Fauna by default due to many of them being a danger to wildlife and even going as far as to try to poach such animals if left unchecked. It doesn't stop them from continuing to be involved in the trades regarding endangered animals and their parts, and sometimes sending poachers to do their dirty work. When they really want things done, they're either contracting the dirty work to the Glukkons' Slig forces or Pokemon Hunter J to get what they want. One of their clients happens to be Cruella De Vil, who enjoys making fashion out of animal pelts and parts, and appreciates that some of the Eco-Villains have similar tastes in both fashion and disdain for animals. There have been notable cases of animals outside the House of Beasts and Fauna who have been opposed to the Eco-Villains' work and put in the work to sabotage their operations. The Tanukis as well as the Hedgies who care about the natural environments obviously had no nice sentiments for any of the Eco-Villains, especially given their open malice, and do what they can to hinder their work as much as possible. They also receive enmity from the Folktails and Iron Teeth who may be cutting down forests to support themselves, but fail to understand why the Eco-Villains passionately ruin nature to a reckless and deliberate degree.
  • Under the sea, their pollution is still just as harmful to underwater life as with the ecosystems on land, so deities would reside there oppose them by default and undersea rulers like Aquaman or King Triton will strike them down on sight. Additionally, the Octonauts have their work cut out for them when the Eco-Villains do their business on the open seas, usually leaving many animals in peril as a result of their pollutiion for them to rescue. Ika Musume, who also attempted to invade Earth to oppose humanity's pollution of the oceans, appropriately despises the Eco-Villains, but in a rare moment of brilliance, decided to bring someone else to deal with the Eco-Villains in person. Let's just say Looten Plunder and his allies, relaxing in a yacht while his cohorts were trying to poach some marine life were quickly dismayed when faced with a giant, mutant, and extremely furious octopus, the mighty Octogeddon unleashing his wrath upon them for their offenses upon sea-life (but mainly towards octopi, his main Berserk Button), wrecking their constructs and leaving them at the mercy of the other sea creatures with their own bones to pick with the polluters.

Ight, first draft of Octodad. While he looks like an ordinary human, in reality he's an octopus poorly disguised as a human who wants to live a normal life, constantly hampered by his lack of bone structure and attempts to keep his disguise up. So:

Octodad, God of Paper Thin Disguises (Tommy's Dad, Honey, Cthulhudad, OCTOPUS!)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/octodad_character_1.png
  • Quasideity
  • Symbol: His mustache
  • Theme Music: Nobody Suspects a Thing
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Impersonates A Normal Human, Which Inexplicably Works On Nearly Anyone, Funny Octopus, A Good Dad To His Kids, Happily Married To A Normal Human, Nice Guy, Likes Everyone In General, Extremely Clumsy And Accident Prone, Stealthy Cephalopod, Not As Clumsy During Cutscenes
  • Domains: Octopi, Disguises, Clumsiness, Marriage
  • Allies:
  • Enemies:
  • "Octodad" is a totally normal human and not at all an Octopus. More specifically, he's the clumsy but loving father of a Wife and two children, constantly forced to endure the trials of everyday normal human life: getting ready for work, cooking for his children, going to the supermarket, fighting off a psychotic chef that thinks he's an octopus spy... the usual things a human has to deal with. Despite the stress of it all and his almost comically clumsy personality, Octodad proves to be a good dad to his kids and just wants them to be happy, as all normal humans should...
    • ...Ok, let's just cut the crap already: The human some call Octodad is actually an Octopus who, fascinated by humanity, decided to disguise himself as one to live a human life. The problems immediately arose when it became apparent that humans generally need bone structure to properly do anything, resulting in stuff like "getting milk off the counter" becoming a herculean task that destroys the surrounding environment. Doesn't help that the aforementioned Sushi Chef can see through his disguise and is hellbent on killing him, thinking he's a spy working for some fish army. Despite all that, and his disguise just consisting of him being in a suit, he's managed to fool basically everyone he meets, to the point that he managed to get married and have two kids. Him being a loving father still stands as well: when the sushi chef kidnapped his family, Octodad risked exposing his secret to save them, ending in him making peace with the Chef and his family finding out his secret. They ultimately still accepted him afterwards, and Octodad continued his life as a "normal" human, albeit not without some questions (like how his kids were born).
  • His ascension itself came in the form of a disguise, as an innocuous voucher for a free vacation. Nobody in Octodad's family remember anyone entering a contest, but hey, free vacation, so they followed its directions to their destination. A few hours later, they found themselves in a realm filled with deities and supernatural realms, and while they were obviously taken aback by their vacation home, they were able to adapt and set themselves up a house. Most deities didn't bat an eye at Octodad's ascension other than thinking why a normal human would get Paper-Thin Disguise, a title that immediately made Octodad panic and claim it was because his Halloween costumes were terrible, which most people bought. He eventually made a visit to the main house and discovered that, yes, they knew of his secret and invited him for precisely that reason. However, they were willing to keep it a secret and explain away the title, inviting Octodad to stay at The Pantheon. Ultimately, Octodad agreed and prepared for his new life as a "normal" human in a non-normal realm.
  • As for how Octodad managed to pull off his disguise for as long as he has, that's an excellent question. His disguise, as pictured above, consists of nothing more than putting on a suit, positioning one of his tentacles as a mustache and standing up, and this combined with his clumsiness in actually standing up and doin the simplest task should be a dead giveaway. And yet, it works, as nearly everyone just sees him as a clumsy yet otherwise normal human, even fooling his own family for years before he was forced to reveal his secret. The only people that were able to see through his secret were the chef, who was dismissed as crazy, and his own daughter Stacy, who never pointed it out because she though it was common knowledge. This inexplicably continues into the Pantheon, at least to an extent: most normal deities, even smarter ones, seem to be fooled by his disguise. There are some that are able to see through it however, such as its more eccentric deities and some particularly powerful ones, but they're either dismissed as crazy or they don't really care enough to expose his secret, to his relief.

Ok, been thinking on this.

So I think Doc Scratch should be upped to Overdeity

Aside from his powers such as talking to MSPA reader, teleportation of himself and others, Mind Manipulation (keep in mind one of the people he did this to was the MSPA reader), excellent planning and manipulation while never lying, immune to mind control, even narrative ones, erasing memories (did this to the MSPA reader as well(, invulnerability, mind destroying, hijacking the narrative, and omniscience…among others. However, his claims of being somewhat omnipotent are somewhat backed up thanks to one instance in Homestuck and another in Hive Swap. In Homestuck, he ties a universe’s life to a member of the Felt, Snowman, so that if she’s killed a universe dies with her. In Hive Swap he bends space and time into itself to create a "Groundhog Day" Loop, around single areas, and the causality of it suggests he could do it to far, far more if he truly wanted. For as long as he wishes.

Oh, he can also pull retroactive time shenanigans, brutalized Spades Slick with nothing but a scrapbook, and can replicate attacks that can destroy planets far, far more casually than said attacks themselves, and was the one who brought the Green Moon to Alternia. And can control and teleport city-sized Eldritch horrors.

What do you think?

  • The Tablet of Ahkmenrah is an Egyptian artifact created by pharaoh Merenkahre after the birth of his son and future pharaoh Ahkmenrah, in hopes not even death could separate the family. Crafted with the finest magic available and blessed by the moon god Khonshu, the Tablet was primarily designed to allow the family's mummies come back to life and it had the secondary purpose of being a key to a doorway to the Egyptian afterlife. However it could do more than that; it had the power to give life to artifacts who resemble life in any way, such as wax sculptures. Even pictures come to life. When moved to the New York Museum of Natural History in the fifties, it caused the exhibits to gain a life of their own. However the Tablet of Ahkmenrah only works during the night at when the tablet is organized in a specific way. And anything animated that's outside when the sun comes up will turn to dust.
  • The Tablet of Ahkmenrah is not a full-time exhibit at the Great Treasury, since it's required to be at or near the New York museum (or British museum which is the current main host of the tablet), and is instead on loan. Since most of the artifacts aren't based on some sort of life or intelligence its effects don't affect most of the treasury. However some might be affected in a way that could prove problematic. The SCP Foundation has determined what other artifacts should be kept away from the Tablet, some of which they've declared permanently off limits and others they are waiting on determining if it is safe for an interaction. That said, it's possible that the magic of certain artifacts is similar enough to the tablet's effects that they would be naturally immune. On another note, they ruled that SCP-1048 cannot be allowed to get close to the tablet and use it for their evil schemes. Granted they don't want any SCP close to the tablet without expressed permission, but 1048 is a teddy bear so it has the most interest in it.
    • Since they already have part of his soul, Voldemort's horcruxes are never allowed to be anyway near the Tablet of Ahkmenrah. With his diary in mind, it could potentially give all the pieces of his soul a way to manifest like his Diary self. Voldemort is more interested in the Tablet for its ability to transcend death, but rather than say make something that would be animated by it a horcrux he intends to make the tablet itself a horcrux to put whatever it reanimates under his influence.
    • Nothing in Maximum Security is allowed near the Tablet of Ahkmenrah for fear of the unintended consequences that could happen. Granted, many artifacts there are far more powerful than the tablet and wouldn't be able to be affected, but it's still better safe than sorry. Originally magical artifacts with some level of sentience like Li'l Cal would at best be unchanged, and at worst somehow grow stronger. It's theorized that if put in the presence of the Jumanji board it would become even more immersive, and if put in the presence of the Omnitrix the Omnitrix would gain a boost in its artificial intelligence and gain the ability to speak for itself.
    • For now, the Ice Crown is kept away from the tablet. This is mainly because it's uncertain what would happen due to its Magitek nature and original wish-granting purpose. Some theorize that it could allow the downloaded consciousnesses of the deceased wearers to take control of the crown, some think it could cause it to act in some completely unpredictable way. Given the volatility of the crown's intended purpose and the lives ruined by it, keeping it away from the tablet is considered the right decision.
  • In order to have it on loan the Court of the Gods decided it was only right to ask Larry Daley, having had the most experience with it. Seeing an advantage, he argued it was only right if the one the tablet was made for gets to come along with it; Ahkmenrah himself. The latter was shocked learning of so many Egyptian deities already being present in the Trope Pantheon, but with Khonshu, the one who the Tablet gets its power from, absent on his arrival. Anubis judged that if its fate belongs to anyone besides Ahkmenrah and his family it belongs to Khonshu and he promises he won't interfere with it, before giving words of advice; his brother is not the only Nepharious Pharaoh who may want the tablet for himself. Ramses seeks to take it for himself, not just to form an army to get back at the Jews and Moses but to resurrect his first-born son. Larry Daley was quick to point out that "you know Kahmunrah was passed over in the succession right", though Anubis retorted "you don't have to be a smart-ass".
  • Set had tried to help Kahmunrah get the Tablet in an ill-fated scheme, and he's not proud of the whole thing. That was one of his weaker forms though, as normally Set can use his own army. This time around he took the tablet for no other reason to sow chaos in seeing it interact with something else with Egyptian ties; Duel Monsters!. While dueling during night Yugi and Seto were distracted by the fact their Hard Light Monsters came to life and were able to leave the field and wander off on their own. The former feared that someone managed to start a Shadow Game without them realizing, but it soon became clear the magic was not dark. Sadly the day broke, causing both the holograms and the cards to turn to dust. Fortunately Osiris recognized this was his brother's work and he recreated the cards, before warning Seto not to consider trying to give his holograms life. The lesson Kaiba took instead was "find some way of overcoming the nighttime restriction".
  • Without a gate to Duat the Tablet of Ahkmenrah isn't able to serve its secondary purpose of opening the gateway, and most within the Hall of Afterlife Entities want to keep it that way. Anubis is already annoyed at Kahmunrah's shenanigans, having come back twice and not really learning anything from it. He talked to his uncle (or biological father) Osiris that there are those who'd be far more of a threat with the tablet than Kahmunrah. A pact was made with Osiris, Ereshkigal and Hades to craft a spell that would prevent Nagash and the Lich from ever having access to the tablet out of fear they will invade and plunder the Egyptian afterlife..
  • The Tablet of Ahkmenrah is essentially a method of immortality, with the museum pieces coming to life being a welcome side-effect. It's possible that SCP-914 could improve it even further like making stone sculptures flesh and blood during the night and giving the truly resurrected a Healing Factor, but there's been no clearance to test that. It's an object of interest for the Hall of Forms of Immortality, even if the members there have a better for of immortality than it. Qi Shi Huang muses that he could make his terracotta soldiers night warriors, but the fact they would turn to dust if exposed to the sunlight makes it Awesome, but Impractical in his eyes. Dhuum regards the whole tablet as a blasphemous spit in the face of the rules of mortality and the immortal(er?) gods have been making sure to keep him from it.
  • Anyone who is originally undead has the potential to be affected by the tablet, however they will still revert to their normal state at sunrise. It's guaranteed to rejuvenate any mummy like Anakaris, given the reason it was created. How effective it is on other undead varies, however it carries no risk of them turning to dust come the sunrise as they already have another force animating them, since Ahkmenrah without the tablet is ultimately just a corpse. Tests have been permitted on the residents of the House of Undead and Phasmata. A general rule of thumb is that if what makes them undead is stronger than the tablet they can refuse to be affected; it is not a way for someone to turn the Lich into another Sweet P. Also, if they are forced into status by a power greater than it, they remain fully undead; you cannot overcome the power the Night King uses to control his wights by using the Tablet of Ahkmenrah.
    • Ghosts: Unable to become living again by virtue of their body being more immaterial. One exception to this was Danny Fenton due to his halfa status, as it instead caused him to be unable to go ghost while affected by the tablet and he would go back to being human in his ghost form. Ghost type Pokemon won't lose their spectral status but the Tablet of Ahkmenrah acts like the Scrappy ability and allows Normal and Fighting-type attacks to hit them when it's active
    • Possessed corpses; the corpse will come alive and their original personality will try to take control of the body from the host. Foo Fighters felt Atroe's consciousness come back. After fighting for a bit they came to an agreement; while she was resurrected F.F would move her consciousness fully to her Stand, and assist her trying to get used to this new semi-life. Fortunately the Stand animating the body lets them bypass the "turn to dust come sunrise" and instead Atroe will simply die again. More powerful possessors could simply shut down their revived host and rendering them prisoners of their own body, so Foo Fighters and Atroe making this kind of arrangement was one of the better-case scenarios.
    • Bone-only undead like Leoric will find their flesh and blood restored to them under the effects of the tablet. This was a bit of a surprise considering Rexy remained a skeleton, however it makes some sense when you remember that fossils aren't actually the bones of the animal but rock in the shape of the animal's corpse. This only applies if they were a normal organic being though; Sans and Papyrus remains skeletons because that's their default and they're not undead.
    • Vampires: Depends on the vampire. Only ones that are technically dead are affected by the tablet, however it doesn't turn off their vampire abilities unless those vampiric traits require being undead. Instead, it will turn them into a sort of artificial Dhampyr where they're human and things that don't harm humans but would harm vampires like sunlight, silver or garlic won't be a weakness when the tablet's powers are active. They also get their reflection back.
    • Zombies: If someone is that way due to a Viral Transformation they will only briefly become living again before what made them a vampire reasserts itself. How fast depends on how strong that force that zombified them; the Green Flu Special Inflicted will only come back to normal for mere minutes, while the Plants vs. Zombies zombies will come back for about an hour. Otherwise they'll come back to life, such as with Rottytops and the Franchouchou zombies. William Afton felt the tablet restore him to life...until he started feeling a very sharp pain. The Springtrap suit is permanently stuck in an active mode so he felt the agony of being iron maiden'd again, and he's sworn never to get close to the tablet again.
  • Normally the Tablet of Ahkmenrah cannot give life during the day, however it was theorized that being near the presence of a God of the Moon would allow it to work no matter what given its power source. Lo and behold, when given to Princess Luna the statues came to life even during the day. Tyrande Whisperwind tried her own Lunacy powers, but it wasn't able to affect the tablet; you need to be a moon deity like Khonshu for the same effect. Selene was curious on what'd happen if you put the tablet on the Moon, and made a mannequin as a test. Given it was on the moon the tablet gained overwhelming power and allowed the mannequin to stay alive anywhere on the moon's surface, even on the exact opposite side of the satellite.
  • As a rule, if a non-biological but still animate form of life is in the presence of the tablet during the night, the affect is minimal and they merely return to their original state if changed during the day, instead of turning to dust, due to the fact that they already had some form of life behind them. Robots are completely unaffected if they have a decent artificial intelligence, though if they don't have true A.I but resemble an intelligent being they will be animated the same way as any museum exhibit. The Magic Carpet and Robbie approached it in hopes it would at least let them talk, but no dice. There wasn't any effect on the Skylanders either. Some interactions were more fruitful, though always with the reminder that during the day or too far from it the Tablet of Ahkmenrah has no magical powers.
    • The Nestene Consciousness managed to steal the tablet and test it with its creations. Autons that were already close to looking human but fell into the Uncanny Valley they would lose that uncanniness. If they were based on a person or character they'd start to think they were that person/character much like the Lancelot wax statue, until the Nestene Consciousness reasserted control since the Autons are its creations first and it is already pretty powerful. The tablet was recovered in part because the Nestene Consciousness doesn't think it's all that useful for its goals.
    • Cappy is immune the effects of the tablet, but he is able to take control of formerly inanimate objects if they are animated by the tablet. That said, it feels kind of weird for him and he can swear he heard a faint Egyptian hum while taking control of those animated by it. He suggested to Snap White that it might make him animated enough to resist water damage, though understandably he doesn't want to risk it doing nothing for him.
    • Chucky the Killer Doll tried to take the tablet for himself in the night. At first, he was somewhat interested by the fact his doll body started to become human, which was assisted by the voodoo magic that lets his soul inhabit the Chucky doll in the first place. However, he started hearing voices; as it turned out, it also brought the Chucky doll itself to life and started fighting with the persona. He managed to flip the tablet's power off and to date has never tried to get close to it.
    • The Toy Story toys weren't affected physically by the tablet, but mentally instead. Usually nothing short of a life-or-death situation can convince them to talk to humans, but the tablet lets them justify being alive in its presence during the night as a consequence of the magic. Well, that'd be the case if it wasn't for the fact the Trope Pantheon is The Unmasqued World. But it's the thought that counts.
  • The Tablet of Ahkmenrah serves as a partial cure for petrification, as much as how Ahkmenrah went from a mummy to getting his flesh and blood back the petrified will go from stone to fully alive. And since that is their natural state they won't drop dead or turn to dust during the day, but they will become petrified again during the day until an actual cure can be found. This was first discovered when Jadis managed to get her hands on the tablet which reanimated those who she turned to stone during the night, and to her horror they were immune to being petrified again in this state. This is applicable to anyone who Medusa turned to stone. Presumably this wouldn't work if the spellcaster is equal or stronger than Khonshu. No-one's taking their chances it and the nighttime will give them any defense against Ghatanothoa given unlike Medusa it appears to be a legitimate god.
  • During the night any picture within the Tablet of Ahkmenrah becomes a Portal Picture. It wasn't clear what would happen if someone who's "real" was in the picture when the sun came out until the SCP Foundation sent a D-Class in. When the sun came out while a D-Class was inside, the painting disintegrated. SCP-105 (or as she'd prefer to be known, Iris Thompson) took pictures during the night and found that there was no change to how her pictures worked since the magic was "too similar". Yoshihiro Kira somehow managed to get near the tablet and at first thought his Stand was too similar...until he found he was able to walk out of the picture he inhabited and essentially become a living being again. More morbidly, Dr Alfred Drevis found the animals he taxidermized reanimated. Fortunately (for most people) their first reaction was to attack him.
  • Linkara was at first rather suspicious about the Tablet of Ahkmenrah. Long story short, he consistently thinks Ancient Egypt is some big source of evilnote . However it was pointed out that the tablet's magic wasn't too different from the sympathetic magic he uses to make his toys be able to do the stuff they can in his reviews and storylines, with some theorizing his magic could've been Ancient Egyptian in origin. Realizing they had a point led to a despondency not seen since Spike Lee was the Kingpin. After some soul-searching he said he's made peace with it and wanting the museum exhibits to live trump whatever bias he has to Ancient Egypt.

Freudian Excuse: Not one person is entirely good or evil; something will have to have happened in the past to make them what they are today.
