Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:
- When writing a profile, take note of the following:
- Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
- No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
- You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
- When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
- When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
- You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
- For new and reworked deities, 3 means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
- For new and reworked deities, 4 is a 3 day waiting period.
- 5 is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
- Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
- For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
- For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 is a 3 day waiting period.
- 4 is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
- Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
- The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
- Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
- Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
- Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
- Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
- On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
- When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
- Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
- Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
- To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
- Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.
- Preparing to write:
- First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
- If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
- Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
- In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
- If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
- When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
- All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
- The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
- A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
- If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
- For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
- For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
- Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
- Pantheon Content:
- Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
- As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
- Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
- For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
- For Profile Standards:
- Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
- Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
- Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
- On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
- Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
- Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
- Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
- A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
- Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.
- Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
- Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
- Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
- Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
- Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
- Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.
God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
- Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
- Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
- Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
- Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
- For Pokémon deities only:
- Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
- Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
- Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
- Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
- Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
- High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
- Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
- Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
- Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
- Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
- Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
- Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
- Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
- Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
- Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
- Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
- Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
- Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
- The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
- The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.
Template for Dominions profiles:
Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)
- An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.

- Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
- Domains: Things that the place has links to.
- Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.

- Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
- Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
- And some more trivia/facts.
- And a couple of more.
- Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@ lawliet-saw-whet I’ll probably expand upon the second bullet for everyone else but Crazy Dave (and maybe Temmies), as said second bullet pretty much has those covered in one umbrella.
Why? Well, one of Dave’s allies is Yuuka, of course. I’ll update my previous post of Chimata’s profile with that when I get around to it.

- Friendly Enemies: Farnese, Quasimodo, Ben Grimm (one-sided on Mozgus' part), Alexander Anderson, Garterbelt (mutually for both)
- Respects: Archangel Michael, Saint Martha and George (one-sided on his part), the Doom Slayer
- Feared by: Ned Flanders
- Pitied by: The Love That Moves The Stars
- Opposes: Rev. Harry Powell
- In the dark world of Berserk not all villains are motivated by selfishness or twisted delight; some are instead blinded by their righteousness. Bishop Mozgus is a Middle Age fundamentalist, a member of the Holy See's Inquisition who hunts and tortures heretics. Among his crimes include punishing accused sinners with equal severity, trying to burn an innocent woman for allegedly being a witch and other things straight out of the ugly charter of the Spanish Inquisition. Ironically, he would become an an Apostle spawn and Unwitting Pawn of the Egg of the Perfect King, who's end goal is to bring about someone quite ungodly.
- In his Apostle Spawn form Mozgus is a formidable fighter. He possesses rock-like scaly skin, his already impressive strength is enhanced to superhuman levels, and he can breathe fire. He grows angelic wings that can fire feathers as blades, or be used as a second pair of arms to rapidly assault his foes. Ironically it was his faith that spelt his doom; the holy book on his person blocked some of the scales from forming, making an Achilles' Heel for Guts to exploit. While the zealot tried to bring Guts along on his trip to God, he failed in this as well.
- As an absurd Large Ham with equally absurd mannerisms Bishop Mozgus is one of the only foes Guts has faced that is somewhat comical...though this speaks more to the world than it does to him. Because Guts thwarted his burning of Casca for a witch, killed his flock and eventually killed him Mozgus has an ax to grind with the guy, though he's low on the list of people Guts hates and not a priority to go after. As far as the Chief Inquisitor is concerned, any of Guts' friends are fair game if they get in the way of him taking down Guts or Casca, who he still thinks is a witch. The one friend that he's still cordial to, however, is Farnese. She was one of the only people he treated with kindness, forgiving her failures and praising her successes. In the dreamscape he was remembered a stern but friendly piece of laundry equipment that helped her out. She would rather not associate herself with him following her Character Development, however.
- Bishop Mozgus's actual religion seems to be the equivalent to the Catholic Church, and his behavior is straight out of the Spanish Inquisition's nuttiest members. Within the Trope Pantheon he tends to gravitate towards those just as passionate about the faith, and accepting of his insane methods. While he regards Frollo as skeevy and kind of racist he does think he does good work and that his firm hand is needed. He is also in religious agreement with William Stryker, though not in the agreement that mutants are the devil's work. On a less insane level he has a working relationship with the High Sparrow as he also hates heretics and enemies of the church like Cersei Lannister for the whole "wildfire in the sept" thing along with prior crimes.
- Though she's also a religious fundamentalist, he hates Melisandre because she's a literal witch who uses Blood Magic. It isn't...as bad as he thinks, and the irony that they've both done terrible things in the name of religion and the greater god is lost on him.
- One of the starkest displays of Mozgus's dangerous religious zealotry was his reaction to a poor mother begging for food for her kid; he ignored the context of her suffering and punished her for taking from the church's ample food supply, torturing her to insanity. This incident has put him on the shitlist of every mother except the absolute worst ones like Ragyo. The worst part is that he legitimately thought this was a reasonable response for being part of a group of refugees trying to take the church's ample foodstuff and not an absurd punishment at best. His delusional morality is also why he could not fathom Raoh's disgust at him, as he believed the man would be a worthy ally to his crusade. Worse for the Inquisitor is that Raoh's fighting style makes him qualified to pound even Mozgus' stone Psuedo-Apostle form to sand.
- Of the impression that the different incarnations of God are just the same being taking different forms, and he thusly worships them all. Most versions are upset that his dedication to religion has become an outlet for madness and violence, though YHVH is the big exception; He considers Mozgus a true believer. The Love That Moves The Stars notably pities Mozgus for having his religious zealotry twist his mind. To the more sane believers, they just straight-up hate Mozgus as he couples religion with a complete lack of reason and mercy. Even at his most flanderized state Ned Flanders considers what he does insane. Scar looks at him with contempt due to his personal history; he used to be a fundamentalist who justified his murder of state alchemists as them going against the will of God, but grew out of it and came to accept his own actions for what they were.
- If he and Guts share anything, it's a hatred for the demonic. For Guts it's because of very personal trauma, but for Mozgus it's because of religious zealotry he is. In some ways this is admirable as the cult he was trying to hunt down committed crimes like Human Sacrifice and even eating babies, however one of the problems is that he cannot comprehend that not all demons and monsters in the Trope Pantheon are evil. As far as he's concerned the Demon Girls are as vile as Slan herself and he'll employ whatever brutal method to eliminate them. Slan and the truly vile demons treat him with bemusement at best for representing the worst of the faith, and more of a pest than anything.
- A quick way to get Mozgus absolutely pissed is to point out his transformation into a rock-like goliath is the result of demonic taint. He adamantly believes that this form is in fact a blessing by God, and there is a small part of him that refuses to believe his beloved disciples could be perverted by demonic taint as well. As if to prove a point, the inquisitor has pointed to the superhero Ben Grimm, or the Thing, and somehow believes the cosmic rays that gave him and his team their powers were also blessings by God. While Mozgus does at least believe the Fantastic Four are heroes (he's not completely unreasonable), the Thing is insulted by the compliments because he recognizes Mozgus as the religious nutcase that he is and is disgusted by all of his crimes against humanity.
- Bishop Mozgus isn't allowed in the Hall of Witches and Wizards because he thinks he should Burn the Witch!, and his fundamentalist perspective means he doesn't consider the likes of Lana any less bad or blasphemous than Cia. He's also not a friend of the mutant community; not that he agrees with Stryker that all mutants are demonic, but he does think that Nightcrawler is due to his appearance and that hasn't won him any friends...nor the fact he and Stryker are already allies. Kurt Wagner tried in vain to reason with him by pointing out he's pretty religious himself, only for Mozgus to mutter "it's always the one you'd least suspect". SCP-166 is similarly confusing for him as his own biases and her ancestry makes him see her as demon-spawn, unable to accept she and Kurt are honest Catholics in spite of their appearance.
- Since she's a witch who was burned to death, you better believe Jeanne despises Mozgus and everything he represents. Malty also hates him due to suffering similar punishment, but unlike Jeanne no-one gives a shit about what she thinks. Mozgus also opposes anything that could be seen as a "demonic taint", which is why he has respect for the Imperium of Mankind due to its fundamentalism, zealotry and extremes that it goes to in a galaxy worse than Mozgus' own. The fear of the forces of Chaos being able to taint and possess people has only further validated his belief that his extreme methods are justified. The Emperor of Mankind wasn't happy at this as Mozgus is another religious nutjob that ascended and reminded him of the headache his empire fell into. He's quick to point out that Mozgus was transformed by something demonic, however the Inquisitor believes his transformation was a gift from God.
- Though undoubtedly convinced what he is doing is holy and approved by God, he believes he's convinced more people that his hatred of heretics is right after pointing to Mother Miranda and her cohorts. He despises their pagan ways and mutations, almost as he does the demon. Oh, and you'd better believe that he treats the Forces of Chaos with the vitriol of the Imperium's own Inquisitors. In his passion for a crusade, he has prayed that the Doom Slayer would see the value of the Holy See and let him aid him in his fight against the demons. While Mozgus is absolutely right that Doom-verse demons should be exterminated, the Doom Slayer sees Mozgus as an unhelpful religious nutcase not worth his time.
- Bishop Mozgus has been compared by some to Ivan the Terrible. Both of them are religious zealots infamous for torture, and as a sign of prostration they slam their face into the ground...which might explain his flat, almost modern sculpture-esque face. The literal medieval torture like the Judas cradle or the Iron Maiden, which drove one unfortunate prisoner mad, makes you think the Chief Inquisitor would get along swimmingly with the Hall of Torture and Mutilation. Instead he considers many of their residents perverts who need to be punished similarly to how they have harmed others. As a fanatic without a shred of objectivity this isn't as hypocritical as you'd think as he is not a Sadist; rather he earnestly believes torture is a justified punishment/means of penance and redemption. Some argue that's worse.
- Mozgus is very confused by "perverts" who enjoy their "penance", like the time he flogged the Unicorn only for him to yell "hardy daddy!". Instead of, say, using the pear of anguishnote on Darkness if he needs to be he will instead read long, boring tomes from the Holy See; it'd also have the added effect of getting her to understand the faith more. His more "innovative" means of punishing people in case the regular means don't work were seen as mildly impressive by one Dr Herman Carter. Carter is a man of science instead of the faith, he agrees that torture is something good; through brutal shock therapy he can learn the secrets of the mind. Mozgus regards him as a godless heathen and Carter sees him as a zealot, but they do see each other as interesting.
- In spite of being the pinnacle of religious zealotry and refusal to compromise, Bishop Mozgus isn't The Sociopath as he has a soft side for the downtrodden. His torturers were grotesques abandoned by society, so he took them under his wing and showed them kindness, mourning their deaths with Tears of Blood. This is something of a spanner in his and Frollo's partnership as while they share a very disturbed view of religion, Frollo's abuse of Quasimodo and looking down on his appearance is something Mozgus finds unbecoming of him. He does feel bad for Quasimodo, in believing he should be executed for causing a holy man like Frollo to fall to his death. This is only on the Bishop's end though; Quasimodo sees him as the same kind of monster as Frollo, just not a Complete Monster.
- Alexander Anderson and Garterbelt have an interesting dynamic with Mozgus. While militant preachers and no stranger to violence, they consider his methods to be extreme and self-defeating, however they won't deny that they don't see a bit of themselves in him. Mozgus in turn genuinely respects them, their faith and their dedication to fighting monsters, but believes that they are soft. However like them he is not completely heartless, having offered (twisted) wisdom to Farnese and being a guardian to his torturers. They may oppose him, but it's more of an ideological opposition than full-on hatred between the two parties.
- The Chief Inquisitor can on a very small level understand why they might be put off by what he does: he feels the same to Sergey Taboritsky. The Blessed Regent's sheer insanity and xenophobia is too much for Mozgus, but the two still regard each other as "kindred spirits" and think they are doing good work. As far as both are concerned, All Crimes Are Equal. Taboritsky is a Fair-Weather Friend to Mozgus, this is still a glowing endorsement by his standards. What the inquisitor for the Holy See doesn't understand, though, is how Archangel Michael, Saint George and Saint Martha consider him at best to be an embarrassment to his faith. He respects them as holy figures far greater than himself, but his inability to compromise on faith for the sake of basic morality he only thought they would approve of his devotion instead of judging him for his cruel actions.
- While Mozgus arguably represents the worst of organized religion, he has a low opinion of Reverend Powell since he is a misogynistic Serial Killer. Powell considers his stance hypocritical, but on closer inspection it fits Mozgus' twisted sense of justice; Bishop Mozgus genuinely believes in what he's preaching and does not knowingly use it to play down his crimes. In a twisted way he's selfless, and that can't be said about Harry Powell.

- Superiors: Griffith and the Godhand
- Interested in: Both Mothra, Heracross and Pinsir, The Goblin Slayer
- Mutual interest with: Gertrude
- Varying relationship with: Peter Pan (usually a friendly enemy but one version is on good terms with her)
- Ally: Queen Sectonia
- Rivals: the Puppet, Freddy Fazbear and friends
- Enemies: Guts, Skull Knight, Wyald, the Kids Next Door, Father (KND) and the Delightful Children From Down The Lane, Grandfather, Killer BOB, Jack Harkness, The Doomslayer, any and all abusive parent or child murder (especially Champ, Ethan Roark Junior and Freddy Krueger), Agatha Trunchbull, Dolores Umbridge, Baba Yaga
- Villain Respect towards: The KND, The Phantom Thieves, Arya Stark (one-sided on her part)
- Friendly Enemy with: Skull Kid
- Good Counterpart: Matilda Wormwood
- Abhorrent Admirer to: The Hall of Fairies
- The Apostle Rosine was once merely an outsider kid, a traumatized child who wanted to run from her abusive household and live with the elves. The trauma of her background eventually led to her Behelit activating and the Godhand calling, who granted her wish to be an elf at the cost of her parents' lives. She preferred to live in a Sugar Bowl in attempt to recreate a fairy land from her tales, but this was twisted into kidnapping kids, turning them into Apostle Spawns. Rather than depraved or principled in her villainy her morality is childish and she thought she as doing a favor. The village certainly didn't think she was helping the kids, nor did Guts who's vendetta against her kind eventually led to her demise against him. She died regretting her path and missing her family
- Rosine doesn't seem to remember the swirling vortex of souls she was eventually sent to, and unfortunately what reversion to her old personality she had was also lost out of outrage to learn Guts was alive due to how he "ruined everything" and put Jill in danger. That said, she doesn't have any beef with her friends. Having grown quite a bit since fighting her, Guts wasn't as angry as he might've been to see her resurrected, and the Skull Knight is more interested in getting rid of her given he is a foe of the inhumans.
- As the main code of Apostles is "do what thou wilt" the ascended Apostles are ambivalent to her endeavors and she doesn't have the enormous ambitions of either Griffith or Ganishka. The Godhand are still recognized as her superiors, beings the ones who gave her her powers, but they don't feel the need to interfere unless she proves problematic. When asked what that meant, they pointed to Wyald. As the living embodiment of sadism on the battlefield with a horrific misogynistic streak, he already horrified Rosine and she's happy letting Guts take another crack at him.
- Guts was at one of his darkest points fighting her, so the least Rosine wants is fighting "Guts, but on steroids". And what's the first name that pops up in her head? The Doomslayer. Also, while it's not indictment against Guts or Rosine's abilities, the Doomslayer is used to fighting worse demons than her. Initially Rosine was also worried that the Goblin Slayer might feel she needs to be eliminated, but he's neutral on her; his hatred is laser-focused on goblins, who in his 'verse are basically Wyald if he was an entire species. Rosine doubted this at first but after seeing how bad the goblins from his universe are she couldn't help but applaud him. It's possible they hit too close to home since her mother was raped during a war raid, and her father abused her because he couldn't be certain of his paternity.
- Her Apostle form is a lot more disarming than any other Apostle, looking like a butterfly girl with her One-Winged Angel being a big, bad moth. Her "elf" Apostle Spawn in their true form resemble wasps and she has turned adults into other bug-themed Apostle spawn. She's quite interested in both Mothra, being a majestic butterfly, along with Pinsir and Heracross for being tough. She wants them to help guard her little elf village fantasy, but they refuse to entertain her insane delusion. Queen Sectonia, however, saw potential. She's decided to feed into her fantasy because she thinks Rosine is worthy of serving alongside her and wants to learn more about her kind.
- Rosine wants to play with Team Snakemouth and Skull Kid, as she sees some of herself in the latter and wish she had read more story tales of bug heroes like the former. The former naturally don't want anything to do with her, while the latter does oppose her evil...but he can't lie they're alike. Both Rosine and the Skull Knight are lonely kids who became something worse through powers beyond their understanding. However Rosine's worst acts are out of her own free willnote , and while Skull Knight did a lot of mean pranks calling him truly evil is a bit of a stretch. Still, Skull Knight does see that Rosine only wants to get the happy childhood she never could by living in fairy land, rather than being actively cruel, so he doesn't condemn her as much as others might and wants to help her find a healthy coping mechanism.
- She's a huge fan of the Hall of Fairies and wants to join them really bad, only to be rejected. This isn't because they consider her too evil; after all, they have Killer BOB who Rosine thinks is a truly horrid adult and his actions surrounding Leland hit close to home. Rather it's because she's an imposter playing a childishly macabre game to escape her abusive background. Her imitations did remind them of the behavior of one of their unascended folk, though; the fairies Torchwood dealt with (more accurately, were forced to bargain with) that planned to turn a girl into one of their own. While he can feel bad for Rosine as his own brother went through and became worse, Captain Jack Harkness won't let her bring other people into her own sad, sick fantasy; he doesn't want a repeat of last time.
- Gertrude considers Rosine tragic, yet pathetic. She made a wish to be in a fairyland, only to be stuck in it and found the Sugar Bowl to be unbearable. She's also plenty violent, however she thinks of Rosine as more of a Foil; she found tragedy and burn-out in what started out as a fantasy, while Rosine acted out her fantasy to escape tragedy. And violent as she is, she thinks what Rosine does is pretty messed up. This doesn't make them enemies however as Rosine finds her story interesting for how unexpected it is to someone like her; she's jealous and thinks if she was in her position, her story would've been more uplifting.
- The fair folk Baba Yaga sees potential in Rosine where she didn't in Gertrude, believing the other fair folk are looking at her with a narrative view on what counts as an elf. However Rosine only sees her as a demon since she kidnaps children to eat them; Rosine kidnaps children, but to "help" them.
- Within the Trope Pantheon there are various adults who she sees as a perfect representative of their supposedly rotten nature; and on top of that list are Abusive Parents, since her own father abused her for the "crime" of possibly not being hisnote . It doesn't matter how bad the abusive parent is; she will try to kill you or turn you into Apostle spawn slaves. Sadly for those who find that cathartic real bastards like Ozainote , Ragyo and Cronus were either powerful enough to swat her away like a bug, or at least strong enough to beat her up. Weaker but still big bastards like Ghetsis were still terrified by her and chose to hide instead of confronting the angry butterfly demon.
- Because of the abuse in her past she believes that all grown ups are rotten, which is a sentiment that the KND can understand. That said, they only hate bad adults and thought something like a bullfighting ring that replaces bulls with caffeine-crazed adults was messed up. They are nothing short of disgusted by Rosine's twisted version of a childhood fantasy even if they understand why she's so twisted, and have pointed out to Rosine that she's become as cruel as the adults. Hell, Father and the Delightful Children thinks what she does is even more messed up than permanent "Delightfulization"...admittedly this might speak more about the drastic tonal difference between Berserk and Codename: Kids Next Door than anything else.
- She also despises Father's own father, Grandfather, as he is the ultimate expression of adult tyranny. Grandfather tried to turn her into a senior citizombie in hopes of having an elite minion, only for it to fail because she no longer counts as human anymore. He still had more than enough power to just swat her aside, but refrained from killing her at least for now since he wishes to learn more about her nature as an Apostle, likely to gain more power. Also, he just loves to mock her by saying they're not so different since they convert kids into scary mooks. Rosine defends her actions by saying she is doing the kids a favor turning them into "elves" while Grandfather turns them into decrepit work slaves, only for him to laugh at this and say unlike her he's not delusional. He also has a control over fire, which Rosine is quite vulnerable to and has dissuaded her from trying to directly fight Grandfather again.
- While the KND are horrified by her, Rosine kind of likes them since they stand up to scummy adults and don't have to rely on adults. She's also a fan of the Phantom Thieves of Heart and Arya Stark. The former make rotten adults see the error of their ways by force. The latter is a tomboy who broke out of a bad situation and became a somewhat ruthless badass. While the Thieves begrudgingly admit she's not a complete Hate Sink like those they steal the hearts of, they want nothing to do with her and give her no second chances. Arya is slightly more sympathetic to Rosine's past plight, but like the Thieves thinks it only goes too far.
- Under the advice of the Kids Next Door, Rosine has been banned from entering the House of Childhood and Adolescence. Her crimes are taking and corrupting children to be "elves" who terrorize the people and their livestock like it was a game. And their "war games" are about as brutal as regular war, complete with "adult attacks". She still thinks she's doing them a favor due to her lack of an adult understanding of good and evil, mind you. Rosine was also given a pre-emptive restraining order from Matilda Wormwood, who sees the Apostle as the grimdark version of her; they're both young girls who gained superpowers and got revenge on the adults abusing them. Rosine however goes way too far, though an evil little part of her is tempted to imagine Trunchbull and Umbridge find themselves afoul of their wrath...they are everything Rosine feels is wrong with the adult world. And in truth, few would mind Rosine coming for them.
- She sees Peter Pan as living a truly ideal version of the life she wants to live, minus the interest in fairies. He's forever young, carefree and isn't all that fond of grown-ups either. Peter Pan agrees with this to some extent, however he considers a lot of what she's doing abhorrent and going too far in terms of fun. Well, most version of Peter Pan; the Once Up A Time version is a right bastard who likes the cut of her jib. The other versions want to get her to have a saner good time and feel sympathy with her, but still recognize she's evil.
- Some have compared her to the Puppet, along with Freddy Fazbear and friends. They're once human children who were transformed by tragedy into something otherworldly, Rosine and the Puppet think this is for the greater good, and they really distrust adults. However the animatronics don't like the comparison; though they have killed, they would never even think of touching a kid. Sure, the Puppet turned ghosts into animatronics, but this isn't like how Rosine's where they wholly lost their humanity; it's more like giving ghost powered armor to find rest. In spite of arguing about who's method is better, they did agree on one thing; fuck William Afton. His shameless rap sheet of child murder, haunted animatronics included, is something Rosine hates and she wants to get back of him too. The murderer wasn't impressed.
- Rosine also shares the same feelings of utter contempt to the proud and unrepentant child killers in the Trope Pantheon...well all child killers really, but especially them. The Yellow Bastard, Champ and Freddy Krueger are at the very top of the hit list, as their serial child murders are also serial child rapesnote . The first two ran for the hills at the mention of her name, but the Springwood Splasher chose to speak on her, noting she's a being like himself.
Freddy Krueger: "And I've enjoyed every moment of it, but you know what I didn't do? I didn't lie about not hurting them!"
My earlier still applies to them both.

- Sage is a mysterious artifical intelligence and a female resembling a human girl. She is a creation of Doctor Eggman who created her to harness the technology and creations of the Ancients of the Starfall Islands. However, upon seeing what had been trapped by the Ancients, she gained sentience and placed Eggman in Cyberspace to protect him while she tried to deal with the threat. Eventually, though, Sonic, Tails, Amy and Knuckles arrived at the Starfall Islands, the latter three ending up trapped in Cyberspace. Sonic and Sage end up at odds with each other throughout the adventure at the Starfall Islands, but his kindness to both others and herself caused her to propose an alliance with Sonic to Eggman in order to better get him out of Cyberspace. Eggman refuses, but once THE END breaks free and Sonic’s friends cure him of his Cyber-Corruption, she suggests that they may be able to defeat THE END together. Again, he refuses, but then reluctantly agrees this time. Sage and Sonic eventually end up fighting THE END in an Enemy Mine, with the former pulling a Heroic Sacrifice to stop its Taking You with Me attempt from destroying Sonic, The Earth and Eggman. Eggman is distraught by this, but he manages to recover Sage’s data and brings her back.
- After Eggman resurrected her with the coding he managed to salvage after she sacrificed herself to stop THE END, she would later be used by Eggman as a Nicole-esque AI in the Pantheon while he worked on building her a new digital form. One day, he vanished from his temple completely, left with only Metal Sonic to watch over her. Eggman ended up returning, particularly pleased with himself. Sage asked him what had occurred, and he couldn’t hide the smile on his face, explaining exactly where he had been. He had decided to not only build her a new body, but also surprise her by ascending her to the Pantheon as a proper deity. He tried to go for The Unfought, and Viridi was disgusted that someone who destroys nature would try to kick her out of the Pantheon. She launched a Reset Bomb at his Temple, but Eggman saw this coming, and used the Ultimate Annihilator belonging to one of his Archie Counterparts and obliterated it from existence before it even came close. Before this could escalate into full-blown war between the two, Dr. Wily arrived in his saucer and proposed an alternative trope: Sympathy for the Hero, citing her development towards Sonic and his friends throughout the events at the Starfall Islands, and her desire to be loved by Eggman and seeing the genuine friendship between the Blue Blur and his friends as beautiful to be major reasons why. This succeeded, cutting off Eggman’s retaliation, though Viridi hasn’t forgotten the incident. Not that he cares.
- Sage happens to have power over nearly any electronic she chooses. While near limitless when it comes to controlling them, she was unable to control the Titans and could only direct their aggression, so there are those that are beyond her abilities. She’s a major reason why Ultron has stopped being able to hijack Eggman’s machines at times, causing him to get highly frustrated and vow to go after her, pissing her creator off in the process. She’s outright scared of Sigma, as she fears what the Sigma Virus can do to her, yet won’t hesitate to go against him to protect her creator, especially after she learned that an alternate version of him was once enslaved by the Maverick, albeit temporarily. To satisfy his twisted curiosity, Brainiac wants information on the Ancients’ technology and if it is different from anything he encountered, and views her as a test subject as she interfaced with it, becoming partially made up of said technology as a result.
- As Eggman’s Game Incarnation sees her as a surrogate daughter, she has come into contact with Bowser, who had congratulated the Mad Scientist on multiple occasions ever since the fiasco on the Starfall Islands, having learned that he had salvaged her code after she sacrificed herself against THE END. Bowser, who has children himself, though only one being legitimately of his blood, can sympathize with and feel proud for him. After she obtained her new body, she ended up meeting him. Bowser, being protective of his own kids and minions, fully understood the lengths Eggman was willing to go to in order to bring her back and while she isn’t nearly as Boisterous as the Koopa King, the two still happen to get along fairly well. Sometimes, she will be see hanging out with Bowser Junior, as well as the rest of the Koopalings. Much like with Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, Sage is pretty affable towards the Mario Brothers, as well as Yoshi and Princess Peach, despite being enemies with them.
- Viewed by The Game Incarnation of Doctor Eggman to be his greatest creation to date, Sage has also interacted with Dr. Wily, Bass, Treble and Zero. She is somewhat grateful to Albert Wily for making sure an all-out war with Viridi didn’t begin over bringing her to the Pantheon, something that he waved off. He laughed. Despite everything and his villainy, as he furiously declared to Ra Moon, an enemy she shares with him, Wily does love his robots and can, in ways, see why Eggman went to said lengths in bringing back Sage and ascending her. She does not like Bass’ tendencies to sometimes attack his creator Wily. He actually smirked at this, saying that in the end, he is his own master, causing Wily to roll his eyes. And while having their moral differences, she notes that Wily and Zero have no ill will towards each other due to the former actually being decent and respectful of the latter’s decisions, and technically being related. That being said…
- There are a few beings from the universe Wily, Bass, Treble and Zero hail from that Sage absolutely despises, opinions that the four share with her. The aforementioned Sigma, Sirius, Ra Moon and most of all, Doctor Weil. Sirius is a megalomaniacal being that sees EVERYTHING around him as playthings, much to the chagrin of her and most who know him, though admits the fact that things can be stored in said black holes he creates can be useful if another situation like THE END occurs. Ra Moon is even worse. The Malevolent AI reminds Sage of THE END due to its intelligence, Omnicidal Mania and being An Ancient Evil. However, the worst among them, in her opinion, is Doctor Weil, who reminds her of THE END as well, but as human, and WORSE. Weil views her as Just a Machine, and how did she respond to his threats towards Eggman and herself? Taking control of Weil’s Machines directly, and completely wrecking any progress he’s made on his latest plot, throwing him back to square one.
- As what she wanted most other than to protect Eggman was to have a have a father-daughter relationship with him, she does not like any Abusive Parents in the Pantheon at all. She finds Ragyo Kiryuin to be completely and utterly abominable for very obvious reasons, and even Doctor Eggman admits that he finds her actions towards her daughters and decision to sell out humanity to the Life Fibers and perform Transhuman Treachery absolutely disgusting, and it certainly didn’t help that it reminded him of his Grandfather’s arrangement with Black Doom. Fire Lord Ozai’s treatment of Zuko and Azula also earned her scorn. Ozai, confident, dared her to try fighting him, only to find that his bending couldn’t harm her due to her being an Intangible Woman, and quickly found himself on the losing side of a Curb-Stomp Battle because of it, to the point where he had to retreat. And Ghetsis Harmonia Gropius wisely decided to stay away from her after hearing about that. Regarding the topic of Ghetsis, Sage finds his emotional abuse towards N to be awful. As a result, she pities N and dislikes Ghetsis.
- Despite this, she finds Shou Tucker and Professor Hojo just as bad as Ragyo Kiryuin on the Abusive Parents front, a feat that Sage didn’t think possible, once she learned what the two did to their families. The idea of someone caring so little for family, to the point of turning them into near-mindless abominable Chimera that are always in pain to be absolutely horrifying. Shou Tucker cannot fathom why she feels this way, causing her to let out a frustrated groan. Professor Hojo, on the other hand, has proved to be even more of an asshole by stating to Sage that he didn’t truly care for them in the first place, resulting in her blowing up the lab he was in, though he narrowly managed to escape. Even some of Professor Hojo’s Allies were unable to say that he didn’t deserve that, while most of his enemies, along with many people, believe that she should’ve done worse to him. FAR worse to him.
- Like the majority of the Pantheon and those who reside in it, she despises Zamasu, a sentiment she shares with her father. Zamasu’s hypocrisy and Omnicidal Maniac Knight Templar intentions reminds her of THE END, who claimed that the destruction it wrought was to bring order and neutrality. Zamasu’s hypocrisy is something she tends to ignore, and an incident where he tries to kill her almost ended with Eggman obliterating him with the Final Egg Blaster, a weapon he once used to destroy Star Clusters. It is only due to the fact that this would’ve likely caused Infinite Zamasu to emerge that he refrained from doing so. But not before sticking it to him, by asking him a barrage of questions, unusually tranquil and without his extremely usual Large Ham, much to the shock of everybody who knows this incarnation of the Mad Doctor, to the point where Sonic was genuinely wondering if his Arch-Enemy had finally gone completely off of the deep end. Dr. Eggman had delivered this barrage of questions to him by speaking through one of his robots as he’s well aware he would most likely be attacked by the Mad God. These questions drove Zamasu to a brief Villainous Breakdown, leaving Dr. Eggman feeling very smug, and not a single person felt sorry for the Mad God.
- Sage is outright afraid of Phazon and The Heartless and is enemies with The Flood. As Phazon and The Heartless can both infest electronics, computers, programs, machines and technology in general, this fear is valid. She’s also scared of Dark Samus too, because unlike Phazon, she is NOT a Sealed Evil in a Can in the Pantheon and is a cruel, cold and competent schemer who has a very impressive track record when it comes to success. The Flood were more manageable. While they too are also a Sealed Evil in a Can that can infect technology, she has nothing to fear from them due to the Flood not being in their Gravemind state and regularly aids in keeping them sealed. She briefly considered consulting Cortana for information about them, but after hearing of her Face–Heel Turn and the atrocities she committed, decided against this idea altogether. She’s quite grateful that Xehanort and his Incarnations, save for Young Xehanort, who has no interest in her whatsoever, aren’t really doing much with The Heartless anymore ever since certain events. She’s grateful for this because with their guidance, The Heartless would almost certainly succeed in infesting her, and the idea of that happening, whether it be from them, The Flood or Dark Samus and The Phazon, terrifies her completely.
- When it comes to beings from the World she hails from, while she hates THE END, who hasn’t ascended, Sage has found herself coming to utterly despise Mephiles The Dark and Iblis, the two split components of the Mad God Solaris, who is an Omnicidal Maniac who would love to cause and see the end of everything everywhere. Time, Space, All Life, Reality and Existence itself. Mephiles The Dark, the Mind of Solaris, greatly enjoys the thought of this occurring, much to her disgust. And it only got worse when she learned of his Complexity Addiction plot to fuel his own sadism, his murder of Sonic and successful re-merging with Iblis into Solaris. She is very thankful this didn’t carry into the Pantheon after their ascension. Iblis doesn’t have anything to say about this, being the brutal raw power of Solaris, and thus having no mind to control him. That being said, she does not delude herself into thinking she can take Mephiles The Dark or Iblis, let alone the Mad God Solaris himself. As a result, Sage prefers to oppose Solaris and his components from a distance. Eggman himself loathes Solaris and his components as well, and the two are more than willing to pull an Enemy Mine with Sonic and his Allies against them. On a more personal note, she does not like Shortfuse The Cybernik, who has made it his mission to kill Eggman, at all. As she sees Eggman as a father and her purpose and function is to protect him, she is very angry about what Shortfuse plans to do to him. As a result, she sees him as a threat to her creator’s life and wants get rid of the Cybernik to defend him.
- In an alternate universe, Metal Sonic went completely insane and fused with three failed Eggman Robots, which were previous duplicates of the Blue Blur, becoming Metallix and attempting to take his creator’s life. As a result, she has grown to be uneasy around Metal Sonic for quite a while, especially due to what the Alternate Universe version did. However, Eggman has assured her that Metal would not go down that path, and even played clips of him facing down Metallix for proof, stifling her worries. She has since helped Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Sonic, Shadow, Eggman, Bowser and Bowser Junior go against Metallix on multiple occasions, and he simply regards Sage as another worthless thing to crush, though he is a bit frustrated that he has yet another foe. She knows that it is very vital that Metallix does not get his hands on all seven Chaos Emeralds, as that could spell disaster for everyone. However, little does Sage know, Metallix has been seeking out other powerful artifacts to help him acquire the Chaos Emeralds and possibly even the Master Emerald.
- Another AI she sees as an enemy happens to be White Face, a…something that is capable of extremely dangerous Fourth Wall Breaking, and can harm and even kill her through her intangibility. Not to mention being creepy as hell. She has also gone against XANA, and the Lyoko Warriors are very distrusting of her: Something that she completely respects and understands given what they’ve been through regarding their Arch-Enemy. She is also bewildered by BEN. She nor Eggman have any clue as to what exactly BEN is, but given his nature, Sage finds it risky to try to get answers from him as she is unaware if his powers have any limits, and if he could drive her insane much like he did to the Copy of Majora’s Mask that he inhabits. She has also been seen in the Digital World that Digimon inhabit, visiting from time to time and getting along with the locals. It did take her some time to convince most of them that her entering wasn’t part of an Eggman plot, but she frequents that world regularly, yet opposes Lucemon as well as Omnicidal Maniac Digimon.
- Three weeks after she ascended into the Pantheon, Eggman detected something strange in the Digital World and sent Sage to investigate. She entered the digital world, learning that some Digimon noticed the same thing Eggman did. Sage explored for a while with a few less powerful Digimon backing her up, and located a secluded area in the Digital World. It was devoid of life despite there being clear evidence that it did exist there, and she flew into the sky only to get shot down by a massive red beam that carved through the ground. Many of the Digimon referred to the creature that fired the attack at Sage to have the appearance of a Purple Moon. While she refuses to elaborate on what she saw, she knew immediately before even seeing what shot her down what they were dealing with. All from the words of the Digimon accompanying her and what she learned regarding the adventures of the Starfall Islands and how the creature that had been sealed in Cyberspace there had Appearance Is in the Eye of the Beholder powers. She managed to escape the Digital Realm, but not all of the accompanying Digimon were able to get away. She immediately decided that she had to inform Dr. Eggman, Sonic, Tails, Amy and Knuckles about what had transpired as soon as possibly. Because THE END is returning.
- ”Such a beautiful friendship. A family born of love and not genetics. Everything I want... I wish I'd never seen this. It was so much easier accepting the future when they were simply enemies."

Gosh, I like how much thought you put into Sage's profile, with her tumultuous history with all sorts of villains.
Currently at 1 from Necromancer10 (for adding an interaction with the Scrybes), and now I've consolidated the profile into a folder for easy viewing, too!
- Lesser Goddess (Intermediate Goddess during her special markets)
- Symbol: Her own Ability Card, The Blank Card
- Theme Song: Where is that Bustling Marketplace Now ~ Immemorial Marketeers
- Alignment: Lawful Neutral, leaning towards Lawful Good
- Portfolio: Being a business goddess, having the best fit for her role, a very colorful style, Zipperiffic, too much of a rule stickler, hoster of a Secret Shop, desperate for faith
- Domains: Marketing, Final Boss, Cards
- Herald(s): Nitori Kawashiro
- High Priest: Majinramon
- Follower(s): Zhongli
- Allies: Most, if not all, good/neutral-aligned Touhou Project & Yu-Gi-Oh! deities, the Epic Battle Fantasy Team, the [[/My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic MLP deities (but specifically, Rainbow Dash & Princess Luna)
- Enemies: Brand X, those that break the rules of her market
- Rivals: The Merchant, Gust
- Respects: The Dealer & Heath Stonebrew
- Opposes: Seto Kaiba, most of the House of Crime and Transgressions, corrupt businesses
- On speaking terms with: Bruno Bucciarati & his gang, the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, The Scrybes, Angela & Roland
- Very Divisive Among: The entire House of Commerce
- As one of the newest to pass into the land of fantasy, Chimata has plenty to prove for herself, especially as a goddess for a particular sect of human growth- the act of trade. With exchanging and bartering face-to-face evolving out into things such as credit, deliveries, and online marketplaces, she lost faith to the point of weakness and potentially even death and being forgotten. In fact, that would have been her fate had it not been for her initial move to Gensokyo...and then fighting off its Incident Resolvers trying to convince them that the Ability Card trade was harmless.
- Of all people, it was Marisa Kirisame who suggested her to be ascended, since they had collaborated before. All of the previously mentioned points and then some more tidbits afterwards was all that was needed for her ascension. Many were rather surprised by this, especially Reimu Hakurei, who accompanied Marisa that day.
- Dislikes those fueled by greed, as she is a little bitter over her deal with Megumu Iizunamaru falling through, though in no small part due to Tsukasa Kudamaki. Evenmoreso if these money-mongering folk try and 1-up her during her markets, and in fact, she'll take things out on anyone if they break the rules she sets when she opens up shop, even by accident. The Bone Cousins learned of this the hard way when Phoney tried to scam Chimata out of a deal a few days after her ascension, which resulted in all three being sent swiftly to the House of Health & Diseases for a week of recovery, and Chimata being subsequently banned from the Hall of Character Writing for her outburst there. The blame did fall between both parties, but moreso on Phoney for the entire Hall losing out on a potential trade partner.
- Isn't really fond of black markets, especially after Takane Yamashiro set up one for the Ability Cards. With Marisa's aid, that issue was...well, not exactly as taken care of as one may believe, but it's harmless enough, as said black market remained open, but Chimata resumed oversight for the trade at large. To this day since then, she still doesn't have too much good to say about these, but has been spotted perusing through quite a few in the Pantheon, but it is never confirmed if she bought anything.
- Her affinity with cards through the Ability Card trade has landed her in the company of some Yu-Gi-Oh! deities, and now she partners with them on some occasions as a liaison between trading parties. Sometimes, you may even see her trying the game out herself, usually playing against Jesse Anderson, due to their shared affinity for a rainbow motif and being pretty particular LGBTQ+ icons. Other times, you'll find her having a chat with Maximillion Pegasus, playfully debating about the fine details of card design, ranging from effects to artwork and everything in between.
- Surprisingly doesn't hold Seto Kaiba to a high degree, but it's easy to understand why- despite him usually operating under her rules, Kaiba is rather stern and somewhat uncaring about his transactions. This upsets Chimata slightly as his attitude isn't really ceremonious, which doesn't bode well for her faith.
- Chimata got banned, again, this time from the Hall of Sportsmanship after obscenely tearing through it in a fit of rage from Bandit Keith trying to swindle her out. Despite many advising Keith not to do just that, his ego and confidence said otherwise. These outbursts of her did actually attract the Hall of Anger, to which some found her berserk state to be quite the attraction.
- Her motif for rainbows seems to be a callback to a medieval Japanese tradition where special marketplaces opened when a rainbow is in the sky- and to Gensokyo, that is more than true as she holds hers there under a lunar rainbow specifically. This allowed her to get along rather well with Rainbow Dash & Princess Luna, and by extension most of the good MLP deities in the Pantheon. But specifically to those two, they seem to have a pretty decent loop with each other- Dash & Luna can provide the weather and conditions needed for Chimata to set up market, and in return, they split whatever profit they earned. Chimata spends her shares towards her business, while Princess Luna puts hers in the Canterlot treasury (keeping very little to herself), and Rainbow Dash spends hers on...sci-fi memorabilia. When Reisen Undogein Inaba was approached regarding this friendship, as she shares a hall with Luna, she considered it swell, citing it as yet another success for the market goddess.
- Her zipper-laden outfit has once garnered the attention of Bruno Bucciarati. Let's just say that the makeover that Chimata's clothes got that day was...interesting, to say the least. When Sanae Kochiya was approached to give her perspective about that moment, as she had been an eyewitness, she recalled that her reaction was less than miraculous. And as for the rest of Bucciarati's gang, that one moment almost made them wanna consider adding the goddess to their ranks as their finance & inventory handler, but she respectfully denied that offer, stating that if anything, she would rather be business partners with them so as to not earn stigma from more unsavory groups.
- Regardless of intent, Chimata doesn't really like thieves, as, well, they can potentially disrupt her markets in some way or form. The only exceptions, and only barely so, to this rule are the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, as what they steal is highly specific (being desires, which makes Chimata wonder what would happen if they collaborated with Toyosatomimi no Miko), and that she has agreed to be a courier for their targets, slipping them their Calling Cards if needed. She hopes that in the future, she would be also able to utilize the Metaverse as a way to expand her business and even aid the Thieves by bringing in more supplies.
- Her arrival in the House of Commerce has definitely gotten some of their members, as well as the members of other Houses once things spiraled outward, talking and offering and bartering and all that.
- Absolutely loathes Brand X, as the day after her arrival, they began mass-producing their own Ability Cards- and even Spell Cards- in an attempt to run her out of business immediately. Fortunately, this also pissed off a lot of the other Touhou deities, as not only this enroached upon their own design space, but they also became aware that actions like these legitimately cause Chimata pain, so they teamed up to halt the corporation's production entirely. Montgomery Burns found this amusing, but Scrooge McDuck was significantly less pleased by this. Seto Kaiba remained indifferent.
- A lot of the Demigods and Quasideities within the House, being mainly merchants (like Anna, Bubs, & the Kecleon brothers) and benefactors (such as Speedwagon & Byakuya), quickly rallied to support Chimata after that incident, and as a result, her connections became far and vast, reaching most if not all of the Houses across the Pantheon. This kind of put her at odds with some of the Intermediate and even Greater Deities, however, as people like Sundowner and corporations like Lobotomy Corp. began to take notice of her shocking rise. They took notes and kept a close eye, however- they wouldn't want to share the same fate as Megumu Iizunamaru or Brand X.
- Through Yuuka Kazami, of all deities, Chimata was forwarded towards Crazy Dave as a potential partner. The market goddess was albeit horrified at first as she noticed that Dave hasn't been able to collect profit due to him selling very, very low, and his shop is...well, to her, she thought it was a little less than desirable. This earned her an earful from both Dave and Yuuka, which led to quite a few apologies and a deal to help expand the plant-selling proprietor's business, especially after roping the Temmies into the offer, as they are also partners with Dave. Many became spooked at this display from the flower youkai, even Chimata herself- after all, messing with Yuuka will definitely shorten your life expectancy.
- One god that has managed to get under Chimata's skin without really triggering her is Gust. Despite both of them being capable business partners, they never really quite got the hang of each other, with Chimata's more old-school barting style versus Gust's modern and rapid corporate way of buying & selling. Each time they both are present in a market, they're usually found trying to outplay the other, nearly ending in an actual battle but never going through, with no clear winner.
- Among many new contacts, the Epic Battle Fantasy Team managed to get ahold of her very quickly as a result of her gained power from beating back Brand X. Both she and the team quickly warmed up well, as not only did they have interesting cards to share (Ability Cards for Chimata, & Monster Cards for the Team), but the latter had also gotten to the rhythm of fighting with danmaku very, very well. Both sides consider their partnership to be relatively smooth and as-usual, with the Team calling their favors for the God of the Unowned simple fetch quests.
- Both the Dealer and Heath Stonebrew were rather intrigued by Chimata's offerings, though they waited out the rush of people making deals with her so that they can have their own offers be proposed in a calm, natural order. Chimata, in return, seemed to like what they had in store and very much appreciates their neutral, respectful nature, and therefore treats them as such in return. Since then, when hosting her markets, she may often impart some helpful knowledge on how to play the games these two represent (being the Game of Life & Death and Hearthstone, respectively), and sometimes splurges a bit of her earnings at Heath's tavern afterwards, where she makes more deals, offers, and even plays a game of Hearthstone or two.
- While in Heath's tavern one day, Chimata learned of a mysterious group known as the Scrybes, who also ran their own card game- Inscryption. Piquing her interest, she set out to find these game-runners, and sure enough, she located them when she went up to meet with some of the Yu-Gi-Oh! deities for another round of card trading. Rather than just give you boring jargon, here's a brief word from each Scrybe on Chimata.
- Grimora: "She seemed like a fairly calm individual, but is rather peculiar when it comes to following the rules of her markets. I have heard of her breakouts at some Halls after her rally against Brand X, so it'd be wise to be on your best behavior around her...no matter what."
- Leshy: "Chimata found interest in my camera rather quickly, citing its technology as a way to increase the quality of her Ability Cards while downsizing the effort needed to make them. And through her, I learned of a few other Gensokyoans who have magical cameras- like that wily amanojaku, for instance."
- P03: "I bought Mike's and Takane's cards from her early on so that I can get better shit later. Speaking of later, when I met her again, I got Okina's, Koishi's, Mokou's, Alice's, and sometimes Eiki's depending whether I have too much cash after buying the first 4. The others are garbage, save for like, Eirin's, Mamizou's, Suwako's second one, Raiko's, and arguably, Sumireko's, all of which I buy on occassion if she doesn't have the first 5 I mentioned. That's it."
- Magnificus: "Chimata is a fast learner- she picked up my side of the game's mechanics quickly, seeing as she is accustomed to playing Duel Monsters. She also moves accordingly to the market, expanding and shuffling her selection of wares to fit what part of the Pantheon she is right now. I have high hopes for her."
- Got off the wrong foot with Angela and Roland, because of her (Chimata's) association with Marisa, who's known for stealing books. Thankfully, they've recently managed to reach a fragile agreement after some rather interesting methods of trade, by having Chimata prove herself against them through one of their Boss Rushes. Despite having many Ability Cards, the market goddess, or rather her replica, couldn't hold out long enough and was subsequently defeated by the second wave of Sephirahs, being turned into a new book for the Librarians' troubles. This book gave the duo the ability to form more books...the good-ol' fashioned way, without needing to rely on having poor plucks going into the Library. A revelation like this shook all three, and they quickly scaffolded a new deal to take advantage of this. Only time will tell how far this partnership goes.
- Is actually often seen at the Hall of Anger, usually led there by others trying to calm her down when someone broke her market's rules. Chimata is afterwards is taken to the House of Health and Medicine, usually as a result of fatigue and exhaustion from letting loose a little too much, to recuperate. These outbursts, which happen surprisingly more frequently than one may expect, has caused a few of her investors to calmly cut off deals with her, and making everyone else associated with her a bit more wary- even those trying to usurp her place in the Pantheon's business world.

Didn't your previous iteration of that profile explain that she was themed around the lunar rainbow? I could be misremembering, but it'd be a nice thing to include either way.
Anything else I could add to Platypet? Maybe a description of his temple?
I don't have anything in mind for Platypet right now, but writing a paragraph of its temple sounds like a nice addition.

- As a species, Platypet shares a recent common ancestor with Saipat, and is found on two islands of the Airborne Archipelago: the Mediterranean Deniz, and the barren wasteland Tucma. Being a Water and Toxic type, it is well-adapted to both. It's the star of a cartoon series that teaches kids that Toxic-types can be good friends, too. It evolves into Platox, which evolves into Platimous, which don't change much besides getting bigger and meaner-looking. The line are among the most successful apex predators in the Archipelago, and they're effective special attackers in the hands of Tamers.
- This particular Platypet originates from the Xolot Reservoir in Tucma. He's carefree, lives in the moment, and doesn't have a resentful bone in his body. His Signature Move is Cheer Up; in battle, it allows the target to use certain techniques one turn earlier than usual, but it also makes him a great cheerleader. He's not very smart, but that just makes him cuter.
- He nonchalantly wandered into the House of Popularity by mistake, probably because he became fixated on the star-patterned walls. Initially the gods tried to shoo away the intruder, but then Haruhi Suzumiya realised that he had an interesting metafictional history — he was originally a fan-made Pokémon design, but was submitted to Temtem by a Kickstarter backer — and offered to make him a god. Platypet didn't understand what that meant, but accepted anyway.
- Despite being in one of the flashiest houses in the Pantheon, Platypet's temple is rather unassuming. It's a small cave filled with salt blocks and coral from Deniz and faintly-glowing crystals from Tucma, with a pool of water in the middle. There's barely enough room for an adult human of average height to stand up in it.
- While he technically belongs to the House of Popularity, he's more often seen in the House of Beasts and Fauna, usually chilling in ponds near temples. He also visits the Hall of Water and Moisture a lot; while he prefers to stick to the shallows, he's more than capable of defending himself from the monsters lurking in the deep. He keeps well away from Lagiacrus, though.
- His heralds are among the strongest tamers in the Archipelago, and all four of them occasionally use Platimous in high-level battles. Sophia and Yareni are the only Dojo Masters on their home islands, part of the authority on Temtem taming, while Naolin and the Stowaway are two of the legendary Archtamers. His followers are the other Temtem who were suggested by Kickstarter backers, though none of them had designs beforehand.
- Pikachu was wary of Platypet at first, thinking that Temtem were encroaching upon Pokémon's territory, but the other Pokémon convinced him that they could co-exist. Meanwhile, Platypet is scared of Pikachu because electricity is one of his elemental weaknesses. Platypet struck up an Odd Friendship with the similarly-typed Qwilfish, and respects most Poison and Water Pokémon.
- He also gets along with other monotremes such as Perry and Knuckles; other good or neutral Mons such as the similarly-carefree piñatas and most Digimon (except HerkuleKabuterimon); and the Octonauts because they've helped platypi in the past. Steve Irwin respects all creatures in the Pantheon, and he reminds Misty of her Psyduck. Phineas and Ferb built an elaborate playground with water slides for him and Perry; Platypet knows Perry is a secret agent, but he won't tell anyone, because he can't talk. The Warners occasionally drag Platypet into their shenanigans under the mistaken belief that he's an Animated Actor like them, but he doesn't mind.
- Within the Hall of Fanbase, he's scared of 9-Volt and 16-Volt because he thinks they have electric powers, but they think he's adorable. Platypet also keeps well away from the Hall of Enemies for two reasons: Slimes fear him because he looks similar to their rivals, the Platypunks; and he's scared of the Zubat and Golbat colony because he's weak to Wind, which is similar to Flying. Also, Fairy-type Pokémon fear him because he's the equivalent of a Poison-type, and isn't weak to the Psychic moves most of them learn; Grass-types less so, because he takes neutral damage from Green Thumb attacks.
- Being so carefree, Platypet has few outright enemies. Pokémon Hunter J is interested in targeting anything Pokémon-like, so he's fought against her a few times. Being a Toxic-type who thrives in the acidic waters of Tucma, where the air is thick with volcanic ash, he completely No Sells Hexxus and Hedorah's pollution. This baffles them, especially because Platypet is still intimidated by their sizes. Judge Doom hates the fact that the Platypet species is the star of a cartoon, even though this Platypet has nothing to do with it. Maxie and Archie were horrified when they learned about Tucma because its environment reminded them of how badly their plans could've gone if they'd succeeded, but Platypet doesn't understand what raising or lowering the sea level on a round planet means.
Also, my bad for posting it twice last page. I thought the OP said that in order to repost a submission, you have to have added/rewrote at least one bullet.

Sage may dislike Shortfuse but he doesn't feel the same way, he is indifferent to her. Shorty being more focused on Robotnik than Sage, because Robotnik is the one who trapped him in the armour. He does think that if she turned over to the good guys side then she would be a good friend to Tekno who also used to work for Robotnik.
Sage would like her father's cousin Maria Robotnik and her Great-Grandfather Professor Gerald Robotnik when he is/was sane.

"May your heart be your guiding key"Dang. Didn't know that Amicia and Hugo had ascended. Would've made some interesting enemies against Mozgus and Rosine. Let's see how Mozgus and Rosine deal with a horde of plague-infested rats.
Also, I could've sworn that Leopold Goenitz was here. Now he's gone. More work for me to do.
Should also look into the New Faces Team/CYS as well...
Sorry. CYS is the name of the New Faces Team's band.
x3 If it's open, then I'll wing it to the forum for approval. And I'll see about getting Goenitz back.
Edited by snafuthegreat on Feb 8th 2023 at 3:34:59 AM
What the CYS?
Also, is this the right place to discuss Pantheon stuff other than submissions? Because I'm considering drawing fanart.
Hence why I never mentioned how Shorty feels about her. It’s one-sided when it comes to dislike
I’m plotting my schemes wherever I go! They’re perfect in every way…
Personal vote for Team Orochi is for team to rep Even Evil Has Loved Ones, given they both work together as a team/band and genuinely care for each other.
@Nitro Indigo yeah, I did add a bit of her inspiration- it’s in the part where I talk about her friendship with Rainbow Dash.
Anyways, is Chimata ready for approval?
@Nitro: Your 2nd and 4th flavor texts feel a little short (ideally, 4+ sentences is ideal), but since you have the minimum number of texts needed, I would recommend finding opportunities to expand your interactions where you can, like with other similar Water-type Pokemon like Oshawatt and Popplio.
for Sage.
Imo, sure, but if only for fun.
Already gave my vote, but I think it's good enough
Beep-beep
Fair enough. I originally had all the Water/Toxic Temtem listed as Platy's heralds, until I re-read the OP and changed it so his followers were fan-submitted Temtem instead.
