Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Here's a dominion idea I've had for a while...

The Scorched Queen's Kingdom, Land of Perpetual Storms

  • Against the Storm takes place in a world cursed with perpetual rain, yet it never floods. Every few decades, a cataclysm called the Blightstorm arrives and rearranges the landscape. The only safe haven is the Smoldering Citadel atop a volcano, ruled by the enigmatic Scorched Queen. She sends her viceroys — such as the player — out into the wilderness to gather resources.

Does anyone have a concern with me working on the Ishimura? It's going into Maximum Security, due to the 12 Marker Fragments that are scattered throughout the planet-cracker. Also, it's going into low-earth orbit, far enough not to influence most of the deities, but close enough to affect the psychologically unstable like Mitsuko Souma and Casca.

Kenshi is done.

Kenshi Takahashi, Celestial Patron of Blind Swordsmen (Blind Kenshi, Keanu [by Cassie Cage]; The Telekinetic Daredevil; Restorer of His Family's Name; Sexy Face Two, Straight Outta Earthrealm, Sword Man, Badass With A Sword, Two-Eye Blind, Outta Sight, Best Friend [by Johnny Cage])

The Netherrealm Timeline (left) and the New Era (right) incarnations of Kenshi.
  • Potential Houses: Disabilities and Aim and Skill
  • Lesser God
  • Symbols: His Crimson Eyeband Wrapped Around His Sword, Sento
  • Theme Songs:
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolios:
  • Domains: Blindness, Kombat, Organized Crime, Swordsmanship, Telepathy and Telekinesis
  • Followers: The Takahashi Clan and Suchin, his lover
  • On Neutral Terms With: House Of Crime and Transgressions (for the most part)
  • Family: Takeda Takahashi (son - Netherrealm Timeline)
  • Allies:
  • Rivals: Heishiro Mitsurugi, Haohmaru, Samanouske Akechi, Jetstream Sam Raiden (Metal Gear)
  • Enemies:
  • Ambiguous Relationship: Ermac
  • Person Of Interest To: Frank Castle/The Pumisher, Amanda Waller, Tatsu 'Katana' Yamashiro
  • Odd Friendship: With Jason ' Red Hood' Todd, Ichi, Guts and Anakin Skywalker
  • Pities: Carrie White
  • Kenshi Takahashi. There are conflicting reports as to the origins of the blind swordsman who fights for Earthrealm. One such report details him as descended from a lineage of Eurasian Warrior Kings. Another has him working for Special Forces, seeking revenge on the Red Dragon for the murder of his lover, while reconnecting with his son, who Kenshi had left in the relative safety of Hanzo Hasashi and the Shirai Ryu. The most recent reports are of Kenshi not being from a warrior king bloodline, but a former member of the Yakuza, descended from a clan long thought to have been destroyed centuries past, now seeking to redeem his clan. But there are several things thar can be confirmed regarding Kenshi. He has an intense hatred for Shang Tsung (as he was the cause of his blindness in the first two timelines), in all three reports, he lost his sight (the first two due to the aforementioned sorcerer, the third to Mileena driven mad by her Tarkart affliction), Kenshi acquired Sento after losing his sight, his encounter with Ermac resulted him in learning telepathy, and he has strong ties to Earthrealm, primarily with Special Forces. For some folks, the ex-Yakuza angle is more believable.
    • While his background in the first two timelines is well-known, it's his background in Liu Kang's New Era that's drawing attention on Kenshi. The Takahashi were originally known as the Taira Clan, one of ancient Japan's most honored families. However, the Taira were nearly wiped out during the Siege of Aomori. To make things worse, the ancestral sword, Sento, was lost in the battle. Their numbers few, the surviving Taira changed their surname from Taira to Takahashi, and sought protection from the Bakuto, the predecessors to the Japanese Yakuza. "From first family to crime family," as Johnny Cage put it when Kenshi came for Sento, as it had been in Johnny's posession. Johnny refused to hand over Sento (as he paid $3 million for it), but relented after Kenshi saved his life, at the cost of a berserk Mileena gouging out his eyes. With Sento now in his posession, Kenshi plans to redeem his clan, to seperate them from their past ties to the Yakuza. But even in Liu Kang's New Era, it won't be easy.
  • Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Makima, and Kimiko Yamaguchi are quite possibly the only Yakuza deities that Kenshi is on good terms with. Neither Kazuma or Yankumi did not bear any ill will towards Kenshi for leaving the Yakuza, as he had to put his clan first. Goro did criticize Kenshi for his decision, but understood Kenshi's reason behind the decision. But there are those who are not entirely convinced that Kenshi changed his ways. The fact that he was part of the Yakuza is more than enough for Frank Castle to try and put a bullet in him, and Castle has killed more than his share of Japanese mobsters over the years. But Kenshi is protected, and is actively working in protecting Earthrealm. With patience honed from his time as a Marine sniper, Frank watches Kenshi, waiting for the day he relapses. When Kenshi does fall back into his old ways, Frank will be there to punish him. On the other hand, Amanda Waller sees Kenshi as a high value recruit for the Suicide Squad. Of course, given that it's Waller we're talking about, her method of recruiting involves cranial bombs and the threat of her detonating them being her modus operandi.
    • Interestingly enough, the main factor why Frank doesn't put a bullet in Kenshi's head is because of Kenshi's friendship with Professor X and Jean Grey. In the days following his debut, Kenshi sought instruction on how to better control his telepathy, and you can't go wrong with Professor X and Jean Grey as your teachers. Tatsu Yamashiro also has a 'kill-on-sight' policy in regards to any Yakuza she comes across. Given that her family had been butchered by her Yakuza brother-in-law, one cannot fault Katana for her violent response. But, as Katana had bear witnessed, Kenshi's attempts at redeeming the Taira and being a good father to Takeda are indeed genuine. Plus, killing someone with ties to Special Forces and under the protection of Earthrealm's gods (be it Raiden or Liu Kang) would look bad on Katana's part, hence the wielder of Soultaker adapting a 'wait-and-see' approach with Kenshi.
    • Despite getting the blessings of Michael Corleone, Yankumi, Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima in leaving the criminal life, Kenshi knows that there are those opposed with Kenshi leaving the Yakuza. Ryuji Yamazaki is a Yakuza hitman and dojo buster who went in a rage upon hearing the news (big surprise, as pretty much anything will set Yamazaki off). For Yamazaki, Kenshi leaving the Yakuza is the same as an Italian wiseguy becoming an informant to the FBI, and has has vowed to kill Kenshi on sight. Any of Kenshi's Allies from Liu Kang to Johnny Cage that try to stop him will be nothing more than collateral damage. The Slavers also have personal issues with Kenshi, even going as far as to threaten to give Suchin and Takeda a fate worse than death should they get their hands on Kenshi's loved ones. If there was anyone Kenshi would be more than happy to kill aside from Hotaru and the Joker, it's these three.
  • Is Kenshi a deadbeat dad for abandoning Takeda to the Shirai Ryu? It's actually kinda complicated. Yes, Kenshi admit that he left Takeda in Hanzo's hands, but given that the Red Dragon had just murdered his lover and that both he and his son are high on Daegon's hit list, his choice of leaving Takeda with the Shirai Ryu was the best decision Kenshi could have made under the circumstances. This has garnered some measure of sympathy from those parents who were forced to abandon their children for their own safety. Speaking of his son, Kenshi was righteously enraged once Jacqui told him that The Joker had all but confirmed that he had given Takeda the Jason Todd treatment (i.e., beaten with a crowbar). Kenshi is more than happy to kill the Clown Prince for that. Of course, Jason Todd told Kenshi to "get in line," as he wants nothing more to use Joker for target practice. Kenshi has vowed to give Joker the same courtesy as he had given to Takeda, only with Sento in lieu of a crowbar.
    • But if there is one person that Kenshi hates with the fury of a patient man, it's Shang Tsung. In both timelines, Shang had played to Kenshi's ego, convincing him that he could find a sword worthy of his skill. Shang wasn't lying about the sword. All it cost was Kenshi's eyesight and Shang consuming the souls of his warrior king ancestors. Shang would also claim that he would consume Kenshi's own soul, Kenshi having made his final stand against the denizens of Shang's Island fortress. Kenshi denies the claim. However, the deified Seidan fanatic, Hotaru, hates Kenshi with the same intense passion as Kenshi has towards Shang Tsung. It probably has something to do with Kenshi bisecting him from gullet to groin following Onaga's return, thus saving Kuai Liang's life. As Hotaru sees Kenshi as a threat to Order in general (never mind that Havik had nearly killed his son), Hotaru has no problems in killing Kenshi if given the opportunity.
  • During the Netherrealm Timeline, one of Kenshi's variants is simply named Posessed, where Kenshi summons demons from his ruined blade to attack his opponent. It's the last one that worries Sigfried Schtauffen. Given that he was corrupted into becoming Nightmare upon taking Soul Sdge for himself upon touching the cursed sword, his concerns are not without merit. Fortunately, Kenshi hasn't used the Posessed variant in a while, and only uses it as a last resort, putting Sigfried at ease... mostly. On the opposite end, the living avatar, Nightmare, seeks to possess Kenshi's body due to his use of the Posessed variant. As it turns out, Siegfried wasn't the only one that was concerned about Kenshi using demons to attack his opponents, as both Heishiro Mitsurugi and Haohmaru also approached Kenshi regarding his attacks of choice. Samanouske Akaechi actually thought that Kenshi was a Genma agent, until Kenshi talked Sam down. As the reason why Kenshi knows these three rōnin? It's because that he himself was a wanderer in the first two timelines, which is how Kenshi had met the other three men. Every once in a while Kenshi would reunite with Haohmaru, Mitsurugi and Sam, where they compare stories and opponents. The last time they were together was at the Pao Pao Cafe, during Kurogiri and the Villain Pub's attack on the establishment, as they wrecked the four deified swordsmen's 'sake-and-chill' session. Kenshi, Sam, Mitsurugi and Haohmaru - nicknamer Team Rōnin - teamed up and aided the assortment of heroes - and some villains - in fighting off the invaders,
  • Kenshi is on friendly terms with John 'Baba Yaga' Wick and Beatrix 'The Bride' Kiddo. One thing that the trio have in common is their former ties to organized crime, Kenshi being an ex-Yakuza, John and Beatrix being former assassins, and the three leaving their previous lives to forge new paths... with varying levels of success. Of course, given that her former teammate went on to lead the Tokyo underworld, Beatrix was on her guard. Kenshi put her at ease, stating that while he and his clan knew of O-Ren Ishii and of the Crazy 88, the Takahashi clan had no dealings with them. Due to Kenshi's Yakuza past, he has past dealings with the House of Crime and Transgressions, and his news of trying to go legit has mixed reactions. What was shocking was that Michael Corleone had wished Kenshi luck in going legit, as he himself knows full well of the difficulties of trying to shift his family from organized crime to more legitimate activities. Yet, Don Corleone (along with Kazuma and Yankumi) made Kenshi swear that he would not come after them. So long as their activities don't threaten Earthrealm's safety, Kenshi agreed. Kenshi is lucky that most of the criminals - even some of the irredeemable ones - in the House of Crime hate the Black and Red Dragons as much as he does.
  • Found himself on the radar of the deified Jedi and Imperial deities, as they mistaken his telepathy for the Force. Chirrut Îmwe of Rogue One was certain that The Force had radiated from Kenshi, but was mistaken. Despite this, Kenshi is on friendly terms with the blind warrior-monk. John Wick couldn't help but to notice that Chirrut had an uncanny resemblance to the retired (and blind) assassin, Caine. But Chirrut had given Kenshi some advice on how to proceed when dealing with the deified Sith. "Eventhough your powers is not that of the Force, Kenshi, the Force is indeed with you," the blind warrior monk intoned.

  • Deep in the hills to the east of Sodor lies the narrow-gauge Skarloey Railway. Originally built in the 19th century to mine slate, it's since expanded and is now a popular tourist destination. Though its engines may be small — they're barely taller than their drivers — they have big histories.
    • Built in 1864, Skarloey (named after the railway, which is named after a lake) has been on Sodor longer than any other engine. In his first few years of life, Skarloey acted like a moody teenager, demanding respect from his superiors and refusing to do what he was told. Over many decades, he matured into a much more sensible engine... and became worn out, so he was retired to an open shed while Rheneas ran the railway. Eventually, he was let out when there were no other engines available to pull a passenger train; he broke a spring in the process, and was sent away to be repaired. Since then, he's been back in service. He still has a bit of a temper, as demonstrated when he snapped at Thomas for seemingly putting their friend in danger.
    • Rheneas (named after a waterfall) is a few months younger than Skarloey. He's always been the more level-headed of the two, but when they were young, they hated each other so much that they had to be parked facing away from each other in the shed so they wouldn't argue. After Skarloey wore out, Rheneas was the only engine in service on the railway. One stormy night, when it was facing closure, he successfully brought a crowed passenger train home with a jammed valve gear.
    • When Rheneas was sent away for a years-long overhaul, the Skarloey Railway purchased two engines from an aluminium works, who originally came from the closed-down Mid-Sodor Railway. The first was Sir Handel (named after the Skarloey Railway's original owner; originally named Falcon), who complained about the shed and insulted Skarloey as soon as he arrived. He's derailed himself and pretended to be ill to avoid pulling trucks. Because he kept slipping between the tracks, he was fitted with an extra pair of wheels called "broad tyres", and bragged about them for a while. After disappearing from the show for years, he returned as a more mature engine. (Nobody knows where he was during that time; he's kept silent on the rumour that he was banished to the Shadow Realm.)
    • The second was Peter Sam (formerly known as Stuart). While Sir Handel was rude and stuck-up, Peter Sam has always been cheerful and hard-working. However, he's also impatient, as seen when he left a passenger behind because he was in a hurry. When Sir Handel pretended to be ill, Peter Sam didn't mind doing his work at the slate quarry. Unfortunately, the troublesome trucks played a trick and crashed into him, damaging his funnel. Later, it was completely knocked off by an icicle, so it was replaced with a strange-looking flat one known as a Giesel Ejector. Peter Sam got the last laugh: it made him perform better than the other engines.
    • While Skarloey was away being repaired, Rusty was brought in to maintain the tracks. Unlike most of the early diesels on the Island of Sodor, he's kind, sensible, and has no interest in overthrowing the steam engines. In fact, in one timeline, he went all the way to the mainland (somehow) to rescue Stepney from scrap. However, he's not above pettiness; he once refused to rescue Duncan, who had insulted him, until Skarloey told him to think of the passengers. While he was always male in the books, Rusty had an Ambiguous Gender in his first few seasons of Thomas & Friends, allegedly as Britt Allcroft's way of addressing the criticism that the show had too many male characters.
    • Duncan is a Scottish steam engine who originally worked in a factory. His favourite thing to do is complain, whether it's about diesels, not being polished, or a passenger who's just as grumpy as he is. He used to "rock and roll" on the tracks, causing him to get stuck in tunnels. He's not without a softer side, though: he warms up to Rusty after being rescued.
    • They all have twins on the Talyllyn Railway in Wales, though this is only addressed in The Railway Series. By sheer cosmic coincidence, a lot of things that happened to these engines also happened to their twins — Skarloey and Talyllyn were both retired to open sheds while Rheneas and Dolgoch ran their lines alone, Edward Thomas and Peter Sam both had Giesel Ejector funnels at some point, et cetera. (Of course, the real reason is that the Reverend Wilbert Awdry was so impressed by the world's first heritage railway that he made an expy of it in his series of books about talking trains.)
  • In the books, the steam engines were all red with blue stripes, while Rusty was black. When it came time to finally adapt the Skarloey Railway books in season 4 of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, the creators decided to make them different colours to make them easier to tell apart. Skarloey's stripes became white; Rheneas and Rusty became different shades of orange; Sir Handel and Peter Sam kept their blue and green liveries, respectively, from their Mid-Sodor days; and Duncan became yellow. More engines have arrived on their railway since then, but none of them had Adaptation Dye Jobs, so the gods of the Pantheon only chose the original six to represent this trope. They are known to change their colour schemes from their colour schemes in the books to their colour schemes from the cartoon and back again.

  • [Relations with Thomas characters] While they'd never heard of P.T. Boomer, he did try to destroy the entire Island of Sodor. They told the Steam Team that if he ever comes back the Skarloey Railway Engines will try to stop him.
  • The Pteranodon family were happy to hear that another Railway had open. When they arrived at the station Tiny asked the engines if they could travel through time like the dinosaur train. The Skarloey Railway Engines though that she was a joking about a train travelling through time. The engines had thought that the Pteranodon family were people dressed up as Dinosaurs for fun, but the Pteranodon family explained that they really were Dinosaurs despite this being a shock at first, the Skarloey Railway Engines and the Pteranodon family soon became fast friends.
  • Engines can live for as long as they're taken care of, and while they can mature mentally, they're essentially Born as an Adult and don't age. As Skarloey is one of the oldest engines in his world, he's of interest to those interested in immortality. One of them is Ling Yao, who once imagined binding his soul to a train that looks suspiciously similar to Gordon the Big Engine in a yonkoma. Skarloey had Duke one of the Skarloey Railway Engines heralds tell Ling Yao the story of the train called Stanley/Smudger who was turned into a stationery boiler unable to ever move again, after the story was finished they asked Ling Yao did he want that sort of immortality?
  • [Relations with the other members of Adaptational Changes pantheon.] The Skarloey Railway Engines love listening to Wishbone's stories and imaging themselves as characters in the story. Walt Disney enjoys the riding on trains. They dislike Grimm.
  • Among the things they hate the most is putting passengers, the railway staff or people near the track in danger. This has led to them hating any deity that willing puts other people in danger such Snidely Whiplash and Kuvira who have left people tied to a track for a train to run the people over. Kuvira is especially feared by the Skarloey Railway Engines because of her powers to control metal which she could use on the engines, the railway coaches or the rails. The Cooper gang has earned the Railway Engines dislike for committed heists on trains that included them damaging trains to get the loot that they intend to steal, one of which involved fighting Neyla over a train that she attacked while trying to get Sly Cooper.
  • Flavour text about Rail Enthusiast like Sheldon Cooper and Doofenshmirtz
  • When they heard about Dr. Doofenshmirtz being a Rail Enthusiast they were angry with him for giving Rail Enthusiasts a bad name. It has since been explained to them that Doofenshmirtz has turned over a new leaf and is working for the side of good. Nowadays they like him except for Peter Sam who is more annoyed at Doofenshmirtz's habit of mistaking him for Perry the platypus whenever Peter has had Doofenshmirtz as a passenger a fedora will be blown on to Peter Sam by the wind. This will lead to Doofenshmirtz will saying "A green train?" when he sees Peter Sam then afterwards "PERRY THE GREEN TRAIN?!" this is followed by both Peter Sam and a green platypus passenger roiling their eyes at him.
  • The Skarloey Railway Engines had heard about an one wheel locomotive deity in the Pantheon. They were amazed that a locomotive was able to move along the rails with just one wheel. They ask to meet Claptrap so they could see the one wheel train but rather than a train they were surprised to find a small box shaped robot. Claptrap explained that his title is "The Deity with One Wheel Locomotion" not "The Deity with One Wheel Locomotive" which cleared up the misunderstanding.
  • The Skarloey Railway Engines remind the Star Fleet of their friend Puffa, a steam train that delivers cargo to the port. So they arranged for part of the Skarloey Railway line to end at the Star Tugs' temple where cargo can be swapped from one mode of transportation to another. While the cargo is unloaded the engines and tugs use the time to talk and become friends with each other. Some of the Star Fleet and the Skarloey Railway Engines get along better than others.
  • Flavour text about train haters.
  • Many deities have used the Skarloey Railway to take themselves places such as the Saving Grace Animal Sanctuary, Gigatron Mall, Elysium Academy and many more places, the Engines are happy to take them wherever they want to go. Cacofonix took some of the Elysium Academy students deities on a field trip, the Skarloey Railway Engines agreed to take them as long as Cacofonix doesn't sing because they don't want the track washing away. They also have asked deities that control elements to be careful around the trains and their tracks to avoid damaging the tracks and derailing trains. However the deities that control the elements have been asked to help to fix the railway if they can, such as clearing a landslide from the tracks.
  • Flavour text about deities that use the train to carry cargo.
  • All members of the Skarloey Railway Engines are scared of The Rock of Ages. They are worried about it deciding to try and run them over just like a boulder with a face tried to do in Sodor. They feel sorry for Indiana Jones who has also had to run from boulders chasing him. The Skarloey Railway Engines refer to Indiana as Mr Henry Jones Jr since they usually refer to people by their formal name but Indiana is hoping to change that.
  • Exclusive to specific characters:
    • Skarloey doesn't like any gods that their pranks end up causing trouble for his passengers or worse they put them in danger. While the Skarloey Railway Engines dislike most of the Jokes and Pranks Pantheon, Skarloey hates Laetitia specifically for a prank she did which involving her putting spiders everywhere on a train he was taking which lead to a lot of scared passengers and the train staff.
    • When Rheneas had an accident on the line, the Straw Hat Pirate Franky was called to repair him. Rheneas was unsure about having a shipwright repairing him until Franky explained that he was taught by his mentor Tom how to repair trains and has repaired trains before. Rheneas thanked Franky by offering Franky a free ride anytime he wanted. Franky took him up on the offer and brought the rest of the Straw Hats Pirates to enjoy the train ride too, but Zoro somehow got so lost that he ended up riding on another train, much to the confusion of Peter Sam who was pulling the train.
    • Peter Sam suffered an accident with an icicle that caused his funnel to broken afterwards he had to used a drainpipe as a replacement till a new funnel was made. This has led him to empathize with other deities that have lost limbs as well such as Cherry Darling, Ash Williams, Adam Jensen and Victor Stone. This has also led him to strike up a friendship with Winry Rockbell, Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric, there was a few problems at the start of the friendship like Peter Sam mistaking Alphonse Elric as the Fullmetal Alchemist and Alphonse thinking that Peter Sam is a train with a human soul transmutated into it. Peter Sam prefers to avoid going through the hall of Ice and Cold but he will go through if necessary.
    • Sir Handel and Lightning McQueen bonded over being mentored by old geezers, and their hatred of road-pavers. Falcon and Stuart were kept in line by the Old Master Duke on the Mid-Sodor Railway; Lightning happened to end up in the town where the retired racecar Doc Hudson lived. Lightning was forced to repair Radiator Springs' road and tried to escape multiple times; Sir Handel got into an argument with George the Steamroller at a level crossing. Lightning's best friend, Mater, has an honorary knighthood, so he assumed that Sir Handel was also of high status. Skarloey later clarified that he's not actually a "sir"; that's just his name.
    • Rusty is fond of telling the story about a ghost train that fell off a bridge into a swamp after getting halfway across the bridge, Rusty says that the ghost of the train appears at midnight still trying to get across the bridge. He has been asked to stop telling the story to members of the pantheon that are easily scared or afraid of ghosts. He had frightened his friends Duncan, Ten Cents and Sunshine as well as Franky's Chopper, Usopp, Nami and Brook who were visiting Franky while he was giving Rusty a coat of paint and Rusty told the ghost story to pass the time. Rusty still tells people stories but he no longer tells scary stories to people that are easily scared. Rusty love of stories did make him a new friend called Wishbone who likes to tell stories too.
    • Duncan dislikes scary things so he stays away from halls of the Pantheon that are scary. Hercules of the Star Tugs told him about the time the rest of the Star Fleet were scared of ghost tugs but there was a reasonable explanation for all the stuff they saw and it is probably the same for most of the supernatural stuff he has seen. Duncan did believe Hercules' explanation until he saw a white tug without lights on, the sight of which caused him to flee back to his temple grumbling all the way. Sunshine was surprised to see Duncan flee at the sight of him, he was coming to tell Hercules that the hall of Jokes and Pranks had covered Sunshine in flour and was going to wash the flour off and he didn't have his lights on because it was daytime.

First draft for the Scorched Queen's Kingdom. Any ideas for who could visit?

The Scorched Queen's Kingdom, Land of Perpetual Storms

The Smoldering Citadel
A settlement

  • Fictional Settings
  • Description: A city on top of a volcano, surrounded by an expanse of forests.
  • Symbol: The Scorched Queen's mask
  • Alignment: The forests are Chaotic Evil; the city is Lawful Neutral
  • Theme Music: Forest Lights
  • Portfolio: Roguelike Construction and Management Game, Bizarre Seasons, inhabited by humans, beavers, lizards, harpies, and foxes, Black-and-Grey Morality, covered by an Intelligent Forest, giant mushrooms in the Marshlands, Fire/Water Juxtaposition
  • Domains: Rain, fire, forests, fear
  • The Smoldering Citadel is the only safe haven in a world cursed with perpetual rain. Build atop a volcano after the Great Civil War that nearly drove the harpies who inhabited it to extinction, the mysterious Scorched Queen uses her powers to ensure that the sun still shines. The citadel is surrounded on all sides by hostile, sentient forests, and she sends her viceroys to lead expeditions into them in order to gather resources. The forests grow more enraged as people populate them and cut down their trees; the only things they fear are fire and the queen's wrath. Every few decades, a cataclysm called the Blightstorm washes the world clean and rearranges the landscape, forcing everyone to return to to the citadel.
  • The rain is magically charged, and it comes in three varieties. During the drizzle, when the forests are at their safest, it's green. During clearance, when farmers gather their crops and there are occasional gaps in the clouds, it's yellow. During the storm, when the forests are at their most dangerous, it's blue. All three kinds of water can be used to power rainpunk engines in manufacturing buildings, but at a cost: it causes blightrot cysts to appear in settlements, flower-like growths that open during the storm and will kill villagers if they're allowed to spread. All harpies and foxes are infected by a blightrot-like disease. Despite the constant rain, it never floods.
  • There are six kinds of forests:
    • The Royal Woodlands are the most hospitable biome, relatively speaking. They're full of green trees, fertile soil, and useful plants, so they're recommended for beginner viceroys. They were once part of the Smoldering Citadel until the forest reclaimed them.
    • It's difficult to farm in the harsh, cold Marshlands because of the hard and rocky soil. Instead, they're full of tree-like fungi and huge amounts of gatherable resources. If you're lucky, you might find giant wheat, leviathan corpses, or mushrooms in the deepest glades.
    • The trees of the Scarlet Orchards look like giant roses and are filled with copper. They're full of skeletons of giant creatures that once plagued the land, such as spiders, scorpions, and sea serpents, so viceroys are allowed to conduct archaeological expeditions to uncover them. Due to its abundance of fertile soil, herbs, berries, and roots, it's also known as the kingdoms' herb garden.
    • Unlike the other biomes, Coral Forests contain three types of trees: mineral-rich crimsonreach trees, shelled and fleshy musselsprout trees, and fibrous plateleaf trees. It's a common misconception that these forests appear in flooded areas; instead, their aquatic aesthetic is due to the influence of coral. Settlers find them beautiful despite their dangers.
    • The Cursed Royal Woodlands are full of death. The trees are barren and infested with insect larvae, and it's full of ghosts from the Great Civil War. Some ghosts will merely disappear if they aren't appeased, but more hostile ones will curse settlements as well. In the other forests, the safest glades are smaller, but here, they're all the same size, making it impossible to asses their danger in advance.
    • The Sealed Forests are home to ancient beings called the Sealed Ones, who seem to have a connection to the Blightstorm. During the storm season, they unleash terrible plagues upon villagers. Most of its trees writhe and appear to have faces, and the biggest ones resemble flowers covered in thorns. Viceroys must undergo several trials in order to close the seals, and doing so increases the time between Blightstorms.

  • Rivals: Shirou Emiya, Shiki Tohno, Ren Fujii

  • Enemies: Lord Tirek, Bernkastel (for now), Voldemort, Emperor Belos, Junko Enoshima and Monokuma, Charles vi Brittania, Embryo, Beatrice's enemies

  • When most people come face to face with magic or other supernatural phenomena, they're usually quick to incorporate it into their new worldview. However, what if, no matter the evidence, for whatever reason refused to believe in its existence despite witches being right in front of you? And furthermore, what if you could resist said magic? This is the situation that Battler Ushiromiya found himself in.
    • Battler was the 18-year-old son of Rudolph Ushiromiya, naturally a member of the wealthy Ushiromiya family. However, he had been estranged from his family for 6 years due to being angry at his father for remarrying so soon after his mother's death. He was excited to reunite with his relatives a the Ushiromiya Family conference, held on the island of Rokkenjima in the family mansion on October 4th and 5th, 1986. However, after they received a mysterious letter from the Golden Witch Beatrice, his family started being killed off one by one, seemingly by magic. However, he refused to believe that the murders were done by anything except human means and challenged the witch himself in a series of games testing his logic and reasoning in the form of locked-room murders.
    • However, as the games went on the situation began to change. Battler came to realize the truth behind the murders, and how his actions had contributed to Sayo Yusada's loneliness and later madness. With this knowledge of the truth, he became the game master of the board, managed to revive and then marry Beatrice/Sayo, and finally helped his little sister Ange defeat Benkastel so that she could continue living with the memory of her family in her heart. Decades later, Ange would learn that Battler did survive the events of Rokkenjima, but that he had lost his memory and that the new personality Tohya Hachijo had emerged. However, thanks to Ange's intervention, Battler's memories within Tohya were able to free themselves and join the rest of his family in the Golden Land, happily ever after.

  • It would have been a great early Halloween Party in the House of Magic and Sorcery, if not for Lord Tirek running wild and sucking the magic out of all the deities there. Because he had already begun to gain a large amount of power, the only thing that even the more powerful magic users in the house could do was run away and hope that they were not caught. However, amid the chaos a young man with firey red hair stepped out to challenge the rampaging Centaur. Tirek thought that this small fry would be easily dealt with, and so fired a simple beam of magic. To his surprise, after the smoke cleared the man appeared no worse for wear.
Lord Tirek: Impossible, that magic beam was enough to destroy a Greater God!
Battler: It's useless, all useless! Now, my turn! punches Tirek
    • Needless to say, the day was saved, and Lord Tirek had a long hospital stay after the incident.

  • The first deity to greet Battler upon his ascension was of course the Golden Witch Beatrice, who was now also his wife. The relationship between the two has greatly improved since their first meeting, and deities will sometimes see the two around the Pantheon playing chess or reading mystery novels together, although in a somewhat confrontational manner. Battler has generally helped Beatrice stay a relatively good and pleasant person compared to the sadistic witch she used to be, which is a relief to some victims of her endless trolling. Do not be mistaken: while Beatrice's Allies may not be Battler's, they share enemies. If any villain wants to go after one of them, they'll have to go through both.
    • Battler is immensely grateful to Lambdadelta for helping him and Ange fight Bernkastel and preserve Beatrice's catbox, but is slightly wary about hanging around her too often due to her notoriously fickle behavior. Nevertheless, he will let Beatrice make the final decision on whether she wants to join the Itazura Griefers, even though he knows that her doing so will only complicate their life in the Pantheon.
    • Battler has a more complicated relationship with Bernkastel. While he has tried numerous times to redeem or even just befriend Bernkastel, she has rejected every attempt or even twisted it to hurt his loved ones, so for now they are still enemies. While contemplating why the witch of Miracles was so set in her ways, Battler happened to run into a girl who looked almost exactly like Bernkastel but without a tail named Rika Furude. The two quickly became friends with each other as they bonded over their experiences in time loops filled with slaughter. After meeting Rika, she introduced Battler to her friends, which included Keiichi Maebara, who Battler found to be very similar to himself in terms of their relationships with women and determination to protect their loved ones, and Battler is now friends with the Hinamizawa crew. Rika explained how Bernkastel is a product of the anguish of all those Rikas across timelines. Battler agreed to do what he could in Rika's plan to save the various Rikas across fragments, thereby weakening Bernkastel but also reducing her suffering.

  • While Battler initially challenged Beatrice intending to disprove the existence of witches, he now realizes that destroying magic shouldn't be his goal, especially after he realized the truth behind the Rokkenjima massacres. Nowadays, he engages in logic battles against wishes in order to make them feel less lonely, although he is still eager to fight against evil magic users. This has drawn the ire of those who oppose magic outright such as Anti-Mage, who think that he could have been a great ally against magic if he had ascended earlier. Emperor Belos of the Boiling Isles also thought that Battler would be a great ally against the magic of witches until he learned that he's married to a witch, which instantly put Battler on his blacklist. Battler doesn't really mind though; he's just for an opportunity to teach the genocidal witch hunter a lesson.
    • While the GUAG no longer has a Magus Killers Division, Battler is considered an honorary member and has allied with some former members such as Kiritsugu Emiya. Despite not being trained in combat he's no slouch in a fight, as combined with his abilities as a sorcerer and his magic resistance he is adept at using the Red, Blue, and Golden truths to win logic battles against opponents. While the Blue and Red Truths work the same as they do for other users (propose a truth unless disproven, report the mere truth), Golden Truth is a bit more unique: what exactly it represents has never been fully clarified, although it is sometimes weaker and sometimes stronger than Red truth. Some suspect that Golden Truth is truth by conviction, which is fitting for its users Battler and Ange.
    • During his games against Beatrice, one of his greatest assets besides deductive reasoning is Endless Nine, which is a special name describing his magic resistance. It describes how he has a magic resistance stat of 999,999,999, which in practice means that he can ignore attacks if he does not believe in the thing that will hurt him, namely magic. It was originally assumed that it was some sort of Plot Armor indicating his role as the detective in Beatrice's games, but after he used it to shrug off an attack in the City of Books outside of Rokkenjima, it has been acknowledged that Endless Nine is truly a powerful ability, which has led to his ascension under the trope of magic resistance. While its strength depends on his determination to resist, it oddly did not weaken after he started to somewhat accept the existence of magic, which some suspect means that Endless Nine is more a form of defensive reality-warping rather than just denial. As a side note, the ability seems to be somewhat heredity, as Battler's grandfather Kinzo also has a high magic resistance, and his little sister Ange also has Endless Nine. When asked about it, Battler explains that Endless Nine is not actually an ability, but rather a representation of his stubbornness determination to prove a certain truth. How that works is anyone's guess.
      • Endless Nine, combined with his formidable powers as the Endless Sorceror, have led to many a victory for the side of good, especially against evil mages. There have been many times when an opposing mage threw everything they had at Battler, only for him to shrug it off and punch them for their trouble. In one notable battle, Battler took an Avada Kedavra straight to the heart from Voldemort and proceeded to beat the tar out of the noseless wizard. Needless to say, Battler is banned from magical combat tournaments.

      • However, as Bernkastel has shown, the ability does have a limit for how much magic it can take, especially if one had the same amount of authority as him as a Game Master. Additionally, he is still vulnerable to normal technological weapons and whatnot.
    • As a determined, idealistic hero with resistance against supernatural forces who is smooth with the ladies, Battler is often compared with Touma Kamijou, whose Imagine Breaker allows him to literally punch and nullify supernatural powers. Naturally, the two get along very well, often teaming up teaming to fight evil mages. Battler is also trying to introduce Touma to the wonder of Mystery Novels, but it hasn't worked so far. The two have also bonded over being forced to experience endless torture scenarios by witches intending to break their spirits, although Touma is impressed by how Battler seems to have taken those events much better than even he did. When it comes to their abilities, Endless Nine is inferior due to being a purely defensive ability compared to Imagine Breaker's offensive nullifying ability. However, Battler's ability is passive which means that he cannot be caught by surprise or restrained to neutralize him; additionally, his abilities as a Sorceror and fighter mean that Battler is the more versatile fighter, while Touma has been known to be caught off guard by human threats such as street muggers.
      • On a similar one is sure how Endless Nine compared to Asuna Kagurazaka's ability to nullify magic meant to harm her. While her Magic of Destruction and Creation is also more offensively oriented like Imagine Breaker, it's speculated that Endless Nine has a wider definition of "Magic" and might also be able to nullify powers meant to cancel supernatural abilities (as they are supernatural). Discussions about this immovable object vs unstoppable-force dilemma have confused many deities, but luckily Battler and Asuna have agreed to do an experiment once and for all one day.

  • During his time in the Pantheon, Battler has encountered or heard of other deities who got caught up in supernatural occurrences while also attracting women, namely Shirou Emiya, Shiki Tohno, and Ren Fujii. While he does not feel the same competitive animosity against them as they do to each other, he still considers them rivals. However, he is also willing to team up with them against greater threats as well.

  • During his games against Beatrice, Battler had to quickly pick up the rules of the Game Board while also dealing with the trauma of seeing his family be killed over and over and trying to deny the existence of witches. While he learned about as fast as one would expect from an average person, some of his defenses are still made fun of, especially his "small bombs" theory. Whenever he hears about it, Battler always replies that Beatrice never denied the Blue Truth with a Red Truth, which means that it's still a valid theory.
    • Now that he time to relax, Battler has gone back to a hobby that he used to engage in a lot when he was younger: detective novels. Not only does he read a lot of detective fiction, but he is also a huge fan of detectives from those mysteries (especially "fair play" mysteries), and has made it a hobby to meet as many of them as he can in the Pantheon. So far he met the likes of Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, Batman, and Conan Edogawa. While the detectives initially regarded him as just another fan, after they learned about Battler's exploit of learning the truth behind Beatrice's game they realized that in a way he had become a true detective. They were so impressed that they nominated him as a reserve member of the GUAG Solution Sleuths.
      • One day while trying to find the famous detective Kogoro Akechi, Battler instead found Goro Akechi, a "detective prince" famous for solving cases in the modern day. However, someone (likely Haru Okumura of the Phantom Thieves) tipped him off about his true nature as the Black Mask. Enraged that someone would use supernatural powers to commit murders while pretending to be a detective (reminding him of not one but 'two witches he had tussled with), Battler directly confronted Akechi about his past. To Battler's surprise, Akechi admitted that the rumors were true, and told Battler about his past as a bastard child of Shido and his attempt to tear down his father's influence at the height of his power. Battler, who was familiar with the feeling of being an illegitimate child due to some precise Red Truths from Beatrice as well as how growing up without love could lead a person to homicidal madness, dropped his hostility and instead decided to befriend Akechi. Nowadays, Battler is one of Akechi's more traditionally heroic friends, defending his redemption to critics and encouraging him to be a better person than he was before. His friendship with Akechi also let him confirmed that Endless Nine protected him against Persona abilities, even physical attacks. It is rumored that Battler was able to deduce whether Akechi actually survived in Shido's palace, but refuses to tell out of respect for his friend.
    • Ace Attorney
    • Amateur Detectives

  • Besides his magical abilities and logical prowess, Battler is also known for his rugged determination, as well as for trying to bring hope and encourage the best from the people around him, even if he is not always successful. This has led to great camaraderie with other Hope Bringers. He is especially friendly with Makoto Naegi, who also had to experience a series of killing games and find the truth behind them. Naturally, the two often work together to oppose Bernkastel and Junko Enoshima.

  • He won't deny it: the Ushiromiyas were pretty messed up. Most of them had committed at least one major crime or performed at least one questionable while being driven by spite, greed, or other dark impulses. It was the culmination of these sins that would lead to the emergence of Beatrice, and Battler's own father was responsible for many of the murders in reality. Many cynical observers have remarked that the family may have deserved their fate on Rokkenjima. However, even if Battler acknowledges their sins and that some had the potential to be murderers, he will still defend their memory out of both a sense of honor and a love of the complicated people that they were.
Battler: Listen, I've heard it all when it comes to my family, and some of the things people have said are true. But none of that, none of that, will ever take away the fact that they were real people who tried to live their lives just like anyone else. And I will challenge anyone who dares to slander their memory!
    • When it comes to the Pantheon, he doesn't seem alone in being born to rich/powerful families of very flawed people. Battler met Leouch vi Brittania at a chess tournament. Lelouch was about to win the game, but Battler "turned the chessboard around" and unveiled a completely unpredictable strategy, winning the match the last second. Ever since that match, the two have become more acquainted with each other, exchanging tales of their experiences. Lelouch is impressed with how Battler managed to resurrect Beatrice by trapping himself in a logic error, while Battler thinks that his revolutionary actions are cool but is wary of his philosophy of becoming a common enemy to unite humanity. Battler just sees that as a larger version of the Silent Scapegoat tactics that led to so much pain for Beatrice and Eva. Their contrasting personalities and differing levels of idealism often lead to friction, but for the most part they work well together, with Battler's emotional focus balancing out Leouch's focus on cold logic. Battler is now enemies with Charles vi Brittania, who he sees as not too dissimilar to his grandfather Kinzo. And for record, Endless Nine does seem to repel the power of Geass.
    • After talking with Leouch about his story, Battler learned of someone else in the Pantheon with the same name as his little sister Ange. This Ange was born a princess of the Misurugi Empire, but was betrayed by her older brother Julius on her sixteenth birthday as a Norma, a human who could naturally nullify the magic that defined their world and was sent to fight interdimensional monsters in a Penal Colony. This story of being isolated from one's family and being forced into a life of suffering for reasons outside of her control reminded Battler of his Ange's circumstances, and he quickly grew to sympathize with her. After some incidents of Ange refusing Battler's pity, she realized that Battler was less seeing her as a sob story but more of an equal, and the two became friends. Battler isn't sure how Ange's romance with both Tusk and Hilda will work out in the long term, but is cheering for them regardless. he has also grown to despise Embryo for his manipulation, sociopathy, treatment of women; he is currently trying to figure out if he can somehow trap the slippery bastard using colored truth.
      • Battler knows nothing about mecha, but his sorcerer powers let him a part of a Power Trio between the three, specifically as the nice one. Because he doesn't have the same formidable reputation as his teammates, villains often assume that he's just there for comic relief, only to find themselves sorely mistaken at the end of his fist.
    • Not sure what to to make of Jin Kazama. While Jin has good intention in opposing his father and grandfather, the world war that he caused in order to draw out Azazel caused so much death and suffering that Battler can't just push it aside. For now, he's waiting to see how Jin deals with Kazuya in the upcoming tournament.
    • the Targaryens

  • While he's changed for the better, Battler will never escape the shadow of his more perverted moments, especially certain suspect comments and actions around his cousins and aunts. Despite this, he is generally unfailingly respectful towards women and treats them as equals, including in combat. Luckily, not many have connected the dots that Beatrice is technically his cousin through Sayo's father/grandfather Kinzo. The news of another Chivalrous Pervert in the Pantheon attracted the Harem-seeking hero Issei Hyodo to Battler's temple. The two hit it off almost immediately, and they often spar to test each other's abilities (as Endless Nine can catch up with the power of Issei's boosted gear) or have long discussions about the particularities of women's breasts.

  • Using Endless Nine against evil magic users

  • One day, without explanation, Battler and Beatrice seemed to disappear from the Pantheon. Battler and Beatrice's friends searched far and wide for the two, eventually reaching Battler's temple, which had somehow changed shape to an unfamiliar mansion. Within the mansion were two housemates, who invited the friends to dinner. One of the hosts was a purple-haired lady by the name of Ikuko Hachijō , and an older man with graying hair named Tooya Hachijō who looked suspiciously like Battler. The pair explained that they were writers who had collaborated on a variety of novels, including the "Umineko" series. After a little bit of questioning, Tohya explained that he is, or rather was Battler. Battler Ushiromiya had survived the murders at Rokkenjima, but had dived into the water in order to try and save the Sayo Yusada after she had fallen in. He survived the incident, but lost his memory and renamed himself Tohya. The "Umineko" series were stories meant to help Tohya deal with Battler's resurfacing memories, which was successful as he was able to reunite with Ange and "release" Battler to the Golden Land with the rest of the family. However, Tohya was unsure of whether to allow push for the visual novel adaptation's release on modern hardware, as he felt that the story had lost its meaning in the modern world.
Tohya: Umineko... is a story about love, escapism, and a tribute to the mystery genre. But times have changed: I am no longer the spirited young Battler who fought and fell in love with witches, just an old man. In a world full of hate and delusion, where people care not for mystery or multiple truths, does this story have any worth anymore?
Leouch: No, you have the wrong way around. It is because the world is that way that "Umineko" must live on. In a world of hate, people need stories of love all the more. Battler and Beatrice are just the right characters to inspire people. This, is the truth!
Tohya: If that is the truth, then I will try. Thank you for telling me how you feel
    • The next day, Battler and Beatrice had returned, and explained that they had been on a short vacation to the Sea of Fragments and forgotten to leave a note. But their friends didn't care why they had left; they were just glad to have them back.

"...Without love, it cannot be seen"

[up]Don't forget to call him "Endless Sorcerer" in his nicknames. Probably mentions how he hates riding on boats also. Aside from that, his symbols as Endless Sorcerer are his cape and the Sword of Golden Truth.

Moroever, don't forget how there was the theory of Black Battler, aka personification of theories where Battler killed everyone. Might wanna see how Battler would react to it as the manga reveals that Beatrice can kill that theory in a heartbeat.

Wanting to get these cookie friends into the Pantheon soon so I can work on Sara Berry and Grace Monroe in the future. And now I've got another god I wanted to suggest, right after this.

  • Once upon a time in a snowy village, there were two little cookie friends — Cotton Cookie and Sherbet Cookie. Sherbet Cookie had fallen ill and Cotton went out of her way to see him. There were rumors that he would be whisked away by the Frost Witch, but Cotton Cookie vowed to her friend that she'd save him no matter what. Unfortunately, Sherbet was called away by the Frost Queen at night, but that didn't stop Cotton Cookie from following him into the snow. Tragically, the truth came to light that Sherbet Cookie was a Frost Child, one who was fated to become one with the snow. Even with Cotton Cookie grabbing a rare flower to prolong his life, he ended up fading away in her arms while she pleaded for him to stay. However, her love for her friend granted a miracle — he became revived as a Frost Spirit, free to roam the land at his leisure. Sherbet Cookie asked for Cotton Cookie to join him, but she declined. Instead, she waited for him in their snowy village, where lanterns are strewn on the tree as a sign that says how she waits for him. Years passed as Cotton Cookie grew into a grandmother and Sherbert Cookie traveled the world to fix the balance of nature. Yet Cotton Cookie waited and waited until the day Sherbet Cookie finally renited with his friend, ready to tell her stories of everything he's seen.
  • One cold winter's evening, the elderly Cotton Cookie fell asleep by the fire before she suddenly awoke to seeing Sherbet Cookie telling her to take his hand. They were off to fly towards a wonderful place where they could have endless adventures. She was unsure until she saw a vision of Frost Queen Cookie telling her that she earned this. Seeing herself returning to her youthful appearance, she and Sherbet flew above the sky until they landed at the Gates of the Pantheon. Sherbet Cookie explained that the two had been given an invitation to be deities together, so now they'll never be apart. Cotton Cookie just sobbed in her friend's arms while Sherbet made a gentle snowfall between them. They became the deities of Pleading for their loved ones to stay when they learned how other deities wept at their tragic farewell scene. Their temple is a recreation of Sherbet Cookie's house along with a tree covered in numerous lanterns and a perpetual snowfall. There are also numerous sheep that frolic in the snow to keep Cotton company when Sherbet has to make his rounds to deliver a snowfall.
  • The two always dreamed of traveling the world together through the books that they've read, so the two spend plenty of time in the House of Knowledge gathering as many books as they can to learn about new and exciting places. This is how they met with Jack and Annie, who have a treehouse that lets them travel into books with a simple wish. The two are allowed to visit the Magic Tree House to read from the numerous books inside but do not wish to enter them without permission. They are also excited to learn there's an entire House that is based off of Travel and are planning to spend an entire month traveling with each and every deity there. One god they befriended was Carl Fredricksen, who grew up marrying his Childhood Friend and planned to travel to Paradise Falls together before Ellie died of illness. Carl was able to fulfill their promise to have an adventure in Paradise Falls before moving forward with his life. He hopes for the best for Cotton Cookie when it is her time to go, and is interested to hear all of Sherbet Cookie's stories of his adventures across Earthbread.
  • Upon learning of heralds, Cotton and Sherbert Cookie decided that Frost Queen Cookie should have that role. After all, it is thanks to Frost Queen that the two were able to be reunited and Sherbet was allowed to travel the world without his sickness weighing him down. Frost Queen was unsure of this kindness since she was only following her duty as a guardian of Nature, but eventually accepted it.
  • The first god the two met was the god who gave Sherbet Cookie the idea to ascend the duo together: Jack Frost. Jack understood the pain Cotton Cookie had upon losing her closest friend, as it reminded him of how he sacrificed himself to save his little sister, and how he had to watch her mourn for him. Jack can't help but find Cotton and Sherbet to be adorable and question if they ever thought of ever becoming something more. Cotton Cookie admits that, in truth, her place was to stay in their village while Sherbet was always destined to leave her for a faraway land.
    • Other ice-theme deities they met were sisters Anna and Elsa, alongside Olaf. Anna and Cotton Cookie love to discuss how it was true love that saved Elsa and Sherbet Cookie — Anna taking a sword from Hans Westergard instead of being revived by True Love's Kiss while Cotton's tear and her determination to save Sherbet let Sherbet be reborn — while Olaf loves to talk about Sherbet Cookie on all they have seen now that they don't have to worry about melting. Speaking of Hans, Cotton is furious on how Hans would manipulate love to his advantage whereas Sherbet's first action was to throw a volley of ice shards at the prince.
  • They are terrified to learn how many gods who are known to like sweets, which includes cookies. Number one on their list of deities to avoid is none other than the titular Cookie Monster. Thankfully, the other Sesame Street deities are quick to reign him in if his appetite gets the better of him. One goddess they hang around with is Pinkie Pie as she is known to take promises seriously, crying a waterfall over how they vow to see each other again. She decided to host a party in honor of them reuniting, bringing in many of her friends as well. One friend of hers was Gentaro Kisaragi, who also cried a waterfall over their friendship since it reminded him so much of his relationship with Nadeshiko Misaki (only difference is that Nadeshiko travels through space than the world) Sherbet Cookie is downright terrified of Stocking Anarchy. Not only due to her being an angel (actually a demon) with a voracious appetite of sweets, but something about her voice just sends shivers down is spines. And not the good shivers.
  • The gods they are terrified of the most are witches. This is because witches are essentially the creators in their world who make cookies to be eaten. Naturally, not all witches are about bringing cookies to life only to be devoured, but Cotton Cookie and Sherbet Cookie still can't help but be wary of being on someone's dinner plate.
  • They were surprised to learn how many deities have been in their shoes before, some who end up Happily Ever After, some who end up separated for good. An example of the latter came from Madoka Kaneme and Homura Akemi, as Homura kept rewinding time in order to save Madoka and destroy Walpurgisnacht, only to have Madoka make a wish to not only destroy all witches, but also made her become a deity. Homura was broken from this decision, even trying to fighting off Wratis with a bow and arrow like Sherbet throws ice shards, but the way she tried to keep Madoka from leaving her was wrong. Even if it hurt Cotton Cookie, she knew that Sherbet's destiny was to be free, yet she can't help but wonder if she'd end up like Homura herself to keep Sherbet with her. Sherbet Cookie himself shudders at the idea of having his powers taken away.
  • Unfortunately, while there are many characters associated with ice who are lively and cheerful, there are just as many who are filled with tragedy. Victor Fries is one such god who the two cookies pity, since he wanted to do all he could to heal his wife Nora, but was turned into a monster who can't survive without his special suit. Sherbet Cookie was lucky since Cotton Cookie's love has given him the ability to keep a form that won't melt so easily, but Victor saw this as a curse, due to him never being able to be with Nora due to unfortunate circumstances. Cotton Cookie worries sometimes if her love of Sherbet Cookie could turn her into a villain like Mr. Freeze.
    • Kolin is another goddess whom the two feel sorrow for. While Cotton Cookie lost her friend, Kolin lost everything — her home, friends, family, even her name — and was ready to die in the snow without any hope. She was saved...by Gill, who vowed to create a land where there would be no need for war, along with giving her the name she has now. The two know that she's working for evil, but also can understand the situations that would drive her to join Gill in creating his utopia.
    • Then there was the Ice King, who was really a normal man named Simon Petrikov, who lost someone important to him (Betty) and then gained ice powers after obtaining a crown. And said crown was put on his head to sacrifice someone he loved. The two were glad to see that Simon was able to return to his normal self, and come to visit his temple to keep him company. Sherbet Cookie is hoping to learn the art of Fridjitzu. Speaking of ninja arts, this would later spur them to learn of the Ninjago ninjas, particularly the White/Titanium Ninja Zane. Zane was actually a robot who would eventually outlive his creator and father figure, and ended up sacrificing himself to save the city (before it was revealed he survived). Cotton Cookie tends to knit a few scarves for Zane and his friends while Sherbet has training with the ninjas to better harness his ice powers.
  • For as much as she accepts that Sherbet Cookie and her were meant to live separate lives, a part of Cotton Cookie wishes to fly alongside her friend. One day, she met up with a glowing fairy who sprinkled her in glowing gold dust. Seconds later, she was able to fly just by thinking about it. As she got used to this freedom, she met up with Peter Pan, the boy who never grew up. He had befriended Sherbet Cookie over how they were The Ageless and wanted to bring fun and joy to everyone and invited Sherbet Cookie for some adventures in Pleasure Island. Sherbet agreed, although she's made sure to steer clear of the Lost Boys who tried to devoure her at first sight. Tinkerbell has also given her a bag of pixie dust so Cotton can fly wherever she wants, while Cotton Cookie has knitted her a few sweaters so she doesn't get cold. Also, for some odd reason, whenever Peter Pan and Tinkerbell enter her and Sherbet Cookie's temple, they have cookie forms.
    • It turns out, there were a lot of Disney deities who have cookie forms due to a magical storybook that allows the Disney deities to maintain a Cookie form so long as they stay within the vicinity of Cotton and Sherbet Cookie's temple. The two were awed to learn of their numerous adventures and the love they shared with one another. They've made plans to visit the temples and share amazing memories together, like dance with Belle and the Beast, take a magic carpet ride with Aladdin and Jasmine, or even meet with Stitch's family in his and Lilo's temple. These ties to the Disney Cookies lead Cotton and Sherbet to the likes of Sora and his friends, since Sora was once heralded as a God of Light before he went through numerous house changes. Unfortunately, Sora had been taken far away to who knows where, but his friends know that he will return soon enough.
    • The Cookies' story reminded Yuna of how she and Tidus were also separated, since Tidus was a dream of the Fayth and when they went away so would he. Tidus told Yuna that all she had to do was Just Whistle and he would come back as soon as possible, just like Cotton Cookie strung lanterns on a tree to guide Sherbet Cookie back to their village. Cotton Cookie is amazed to learn of Yuna's summoning magic, particularly that of Shiva, and feels a bit ashamed that all she can do is just summon sheep into battle. Yuna reassured her that just like she is friends with those she has summoned, Cotton Cookie also cares for her sheep as well. Tidus sympathized with Sherbet over learning how they weren't actually "human" and how they became resurrected through the love and determination of both Yuna and Cotton Cookie.
  • Cotton Cookie only:
    • While Cotton Cookie isn't a fighter, she has the ability to summon sheep and also granting a temporary attack boost and healing. This has made her a great support character, which is greatly appreciated when it comes to traversing the more dangerous parts of the Pantheon. When not fighting or exploring the Pantheon, Cotton Cookie mostly spends her time making deliveries to deities alongside her sheep. She also is good at knitting, so she makes care packages of hats, scarves, mittens, even adorable kittens.
    • She learned of the House of Light and Brightness and decided to see if she can meet some friends there. Needless to say, she was horrified to learn that many gods of the light AREN'T as altruistic as she is. She was thankfully taken in by Ezalor, who saw her as a shining light in the dark, and how one person can give hope and life to others. As a symbol of her being an honored member in the House of Light and Brightness, he gifted her a lantern that never darkens so she can continue being a warm yellow light to guide others home. Another goddess whom she's become fascinated by is Satsuki Kiriyuin for her ability to summon a shimmering light behind her akin to a battle flag. Satsuki can't help but admit that she has a soft spot for the cookie, as her kindness and energy reminds her of Mako.
      • If there's one god of Light whom she hates, it would be the Radiance. The Radiance created a zombie army all because she was forgotten by the populace which is in heavy contrast to Cotton Cookie creating a tradition of hanging lanterns as a rememberance of loved ones and to have people's wishes come true. The actions of the Radiance would be like if she bred an evil herd of sheep just because Sherbet Cookie forgot about her. The Radiance pays no mind to the Cookie with the Lantern, as the light Cotton Cookie shines pales in comparison to hers. The Light of Destruction is just as bad, given how it corrupts people and turns disciples into mindless white-wearing cultists.
    • While in the House of Magic one day, Cotton Cookie was suddenly surrounded by a large ball of wool which was the softest she's ever felt. She was then picked up by a girl with pink hair and sheep horns apologizing for hurting the cookie, to which Cotton Cookie didn't mind since she's been through worse with her sheep. Regardless, the sheep girl asked if there was someway to make up for the attack, which is then Cotton Cookie met up with a girl with blond hair and a collection of keys. Turns out that was Lucy Heartfilia, and the one who covered her in wool was the Celestial Spirit, Aries. Cotton Cookie was amazed to find how Aries is associated with sheep and that her wool magic could be so potent and how Lucy was so dedicated to fighting alongside her Celestial spirits and keeps her promises to them seriously. The two also bonded with how they lost someone important to them — Aquarius for Lucy, Sherbet Cookie for Cotton — but eventually found a way to be reunited. That and Lucy vowed to find a Celestial key for Cotton to summon a Celestial Spirit so she doesn't have to rely on her sheep all the time.
    • If there is one sheep Cotton Cookie refuses to go near, it's Chirin. Chirin was once an adorable sheep who turned into a monster thanks to Wor's training, who eventually became ostracized by his flock and then died. Chirin refuses to be given pity by the likes of a shepherd like her, but Cotton Cookie still tries to get closer to him, if only to show him that there are others who can give him love, and that even the tiniest bit can change others for the better. That said, she has no pity on Dawn Bellweather, a sheep who despises predators and engineered a Hate Plague so she can keep herself in power. It's one of the few times that Cotton Cookie was angry at someone. Thankfully, she's found Shaun to live to the trope of Sweet Sheep, and he usually has Cotton Cookie partake in any fun activities he and his flock get into.
    • Lucy wasn't the only one who had a sheep partner. Cotton Cookie met Hop after nearly being steamrolled by his Dubwool. The Pokemon Trainer was surprised to find a talking Cookie, even though many Pokemon in his world are based off of food. Nevertheless, he enjoys Cotton Cookie's company and allows her to use Dubwool as transportation when he isn't busy. Cotton Cookie is glad that he's found his purpose in life to help others.
    • Cotton Cookie bonded with Rose DeWitt Butaker over how they had to be separated from their loved ones but promised to live full and happy lives because of it. She wept a storm when she learned of the tragedy of the Titanic, and how an iceberg caused the deaths of thousands of people. Rose has been consoling Cotton over how Sherbet Cookie will outlive her, but vows that he will never forget her kindness and love.
    • Out of all the gods she ended up befriending, it was Wreck-it Ralph. This is due to how Ralph went through his own crisis with his friend, Vanellope von Schweetz, and was frustrated of having to be separated from her. So frustrated that a virus he obtained somehow mutated into a giant version of him that nearly broke the Internet. However, he came to terms with his feelings and let Vanellope be on her way, promising that the two are still friends. Cotton Cookie understands that feeling of staying behind while their friend travels the world, but it doesn't mean they stop being friends. Ralph has vowed to wreck anything in her path...when he's not on the clock, of course.
  • Sherbet Cookie only:
    • Sherbet's role as a Frost Spirit is to summon a snowfall when winter arrives and to also travel across Earthbread to send messages to the other Guardians of Nature. This lead him to becoming allies with Hermes, who is also the messenger in his Pantheon. Hermes was touched with Sherbet Cookie's story and decided to give the cookie a costume to emulate Hermes himself. He also became friends with Hestia, since her role as Goddess of the Hearth is also similar to that of Cotton Cookie and her lantern, along with having a warm and kind personality which is loved by all. Sherbet Cookie likes to bring Cotton Cookie to her temple to relax around the fire and taste some of home cooking.
    • Sherbet Cookie's body can withstands most temperatures, but he tends to avoid any deity who can control fire just in case. He can also use his snow to help put out fires, if need be. This makes him a good ally to Smokey the Bear, who takes forest fire prevention very seriously. It also helps that Sherbet Cookie also checks out what goes on with the balance of life energy being out of whack, akin to preserving the natural ecosystem.
    • Surprisingly has a friendship with Takumi Aldini, due to the Italian chef being loud and bombastic like Sherbet is capable of making puns despite being an ageless frost spirit. Also helps that Takumi is very close to his little brother like Sherbet is with Cotton, and they both have blue eyes and similar voices. Takumi has asked Sherbet to use some of his ice powers to help with his cooking, and in return, Sherbet always gets free samples of Takumi's food to bring home to Cotton Cookie.
    • Ended up finding another kindred spirit in Cirno, as she's also a frost spirit like him. When they first met, Cirno boasted that she was much more powerful than a mere cookie, to which Sherbet Cookie saw as a challenge. The two threw frost and ice at one another before Sherbet won by summoning a giant blizzard on Cirno's head. Cirno vowed to have her revenge on the cookie the next time they met, to which Sherbet laughed and accepted the challenge.
    • Learned of The Groke, a tragic figure who causes things to freeze with a single touch. Sherbet Cookie flew towards her and told him that he understood her pains, as he himself was destined to fade away like snowflakes were it not for Cotton Cookie's love for him. The Groke hopes to be able to find a warmth inside her like Sherbet Cookie, but is happy to have another kindred spirit keeping her company.
    • While Sherbet Cookie is associated with ice, he also has the elements of wind as well, since he uses he the winds to travel across the land and to spread gentle snowfalls. This means he became allies with the likes of Fujin, a God of Wind who is an All-Loving Hero and has a soft spot for mortals. He silently wept when he learned of Sherbet Cookie's farewell to his friend, along with the implications that Sherbet will outlive Cotton Cookie, but Sherbet Cookie vows that Cotton will always be in his heart, and he will use his powers to protect the world that she never got to explore. Fujin is willing to summon winds for Sherbet to fly across the Pantheon, along with enjoying the beauty of the snow which he summons whenever he visits the Wind and Air Sub-house. Another Wind got Sherbet Cookie befriended was Rashid, as Rashid went to the ends of the Earth to rescue his friend...but was too late and watched as FANG melted her into acid. Thankfully, Rashid received a message from his friend telling him to move forward and to save the world, which he did. Sherbet Cookie stated that even if he never knew about this friend (not even her name), she was a brave soul to risk her life to save everyone.
    • As someone who was ill all the time before becoming a Frost Child, Sherbet is sympathetic to those who are incapable of following their dreams due to physical handicaps. One of these gods he befriended was Scootaloo, a pegasus who would never be able to fly because of her smaller wings. That said, Scootaloo learned that this gave her one advantage — it lets her ride her scooter at rapid speeds than usual. Sherbet was also glad that Scootaloo and her friends found a calling to help others find their purpose in life, like Sherbet's purpose was to protect the life force of the world and spread joy through his snow. The two of them love having races across the Pantheon, with Scootaloo hoping to improve her scooter so it also works on snow.
    • Sherbet Cookie was flying one day when he nearly got run over by a young boy speeding by. Riding a sphere of air. He decided to follow them in curiosity, only to nearly be swatted out of the sky a boomerang. Thankfully, he was caught just in time by a gust of air and taken to be healed. This is how Sherbet Cookie met with Aang and his allies, Katara and Sokka. Sherbet Cookie was amazed to learn how people in their world can bend the elements; something that only super powerful cookies in his world can do. Even more, Aang can bend air, water, and also earth and fire, while Katara can turn water into ice. Upon learning that Aang is the Avatar, who helps bring about the balance to the world, Sherbet Cookie vowed to be by Aang's side since he's also a messenger who keeps an eye on an imbalance of the natural energy of the world as well. He's hoping to learn more ice abilities alongside Katara and finds Sokka's jokes to be hilarious. Cotton Cookie also understands Sokka's pain over how Yue died and became reborn as the moon, but that Yue will always remember him even after he's passed on.
    • If there's one god that terrifies Sherbet, it's Arthas Menthril. He is a man of ice who can control spirits, meaning Sherbet Cookie might fall under his domain. Arthas, for his part, does not think a mere cookie is worthy in his army.
  • "I'll light the way!" (Cotton Cookie)
    • "Winter is approaching!" (Sherbet Cookie)

Since we have a new sub-house in Comedy, is there a God for Actually Pretty Funny? If I can permit a wrestler in the Pantheon, I feel like Ron Killings aka R-Truth fits this bill. Not only is there a collection of videos on YouTube that shows how almost everyone he cuts a promo with can't help but crack a smile, but he's the only wrestler who can make Brock Lesnar break character (to the point that apparently there was a bet made between Truth and Paul Heyman as to whether or not Truth could make it happen).

  • THE END is a mysterious creature that menaced existence eons ago, since time immemorial. Destroying Countless Stars, Worlds and Lives, it eventually attacked and destroyed the home planet of The Ancients. However, The Ancients managed to escape to the Starfall Islands of Earth with the Chaos Emeralds. Eventually, THE END would find them and attack Earth, and while it pretty much wiped out the Ancients, they managed to seal it in Cyberspace, allowing the Chaos Emeralds, The Master Emerald that they had discovered, and the rest of the world to have a future. That is until Dr. Eggman awakening the technology of the Ancients set it at risk of escaping. His Hyper-Competent Sidekick and Artificial Family Member Sage, took it upon herself to keep him safe in an isolated area of Cyberspace and find a way to get rid of THE END so that he wouldn’t be endangered by it. She also trapped Amy, Tails and Knuckles in Cyberspace just like she did Eggman to protect them from THE END as well. Ending up at odds with Sonic, THE END would manage to break free anyway, forcing her, Eggman and Sonic to form an Enemy Mine to take the entity down.
  • THE END arrived to the Pantheon on a late night, once again trapped in a digital realm. THE END spent a good chunk of the next few weeks studying the digital world, including that of what those inside of it are capable of, had a scuffle with the recently ascended Sage…and then eventually decided to strike. Calling up to the surface and speaking to a random deity, they were eventually tracked down and stopped: From manipulating Naruto and Sasuke to the Sonic the Comic incarnation of Ivo Robotnik, its gambit kept failing due to Sage’s warnings after their confrontation in the Digital World…until Kaos took an interest in this new “mysterious voice.” He learned more about it from others, and decided he’d try to work a mutual partnership with the entity despite this having ended badly for him before. With an army, he arrived in the Hall of Other Dimensions and during a scuffle for a Dimensional Traveling device that he wanted, it got damaged…and then the sound of a disembodied voice groaning rang throughout the entire House of Space and Cosmos as THE END appeared in space, also declaring Kaos an amusing Unwitting Pawn and stated that it has no use for him anymore. Kaos was furious, but decided to retreat and plan his next steps to get back at THE END, angry about the fact that he was manipulated again.
THE END: ”What was it that I stated before? That’s right. The end comes for you all!”

Mortal, you have served your purpose. Now, face your End. I am the all-consuming void. What can one mote of golden light illuminate within the abyss? Countless stars. Countless worlds. Countless lives. All fell to me, all brought to nothing. All the teeming chaos of creation? Brought to order. To neutrality. To nothing. I saw your mind as you ran through my prison. You have fought machines and gods. They were mighty. They were finite. I am infinite. I am nothing. You struggle as so many have done before. You will be consumed like all those before you. I saw your mind. Your courage never wavered. Why? Arrogance? Ignorance? Stupidity? I was contained once. ONCE. Is that why? My captors bent time and space. My captors built a whole reality to contain me. My captors burnt their souls away to fuel their engines. And you?

I’m plotting my schemes wherever I go! They’re perfect in every way…

[up]I doubt THE END would be happy to learn about its potential origin point in Void Termina/Astral Birth Void due to the latter being the origin of all possibilities, all forms of Matter Dream, Soul, Darkness, and Heart, and his explicitly omniversal nature.

Also, Void's archenemy Kirby would see THE END as just one in a long line of allegedly all powerful beings that he/they utterly creamed in battle. Not to mention how Kirby can casually punch entire planets in half, and is strong enough to smack a planet destroying asteroid 10000 light years away in 20 seconds with just a baseball bat. No, really, they are actually that strong.

[up][up] The end was originally sealed by heroes in Mechas, and so therefore might have a bone to pick against good mecha pilots.

[up]Technically they aren't, but I swear I read somewhere that they were meant to be a demonstration of what Kirby can really do, IE the subgames aren't canon, but they could happen. I know that after Forgotten Land, Shinya Kumazaki said that the Kirby games operate on a bit of a loose canon, so the potential for such a feat exists, even if the feat itself hasn't officially happened. Sorta like how Astral Birth Void's existence is fully canon within the games, but his boss fight isn't.

I think someone had the Mummy 2017 baddie for Seductive Mummy but I can't seem to find her in the Pantheon Contributors. I'm just curious if whoever's behind it is interested in finishing it or someone else, I'm not asking to take it

Also did anyone archive the Iron Throne before the big treasury clean-up?
