Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Tracy goes up today

What should be added to these two?

Toothiana, Goddess of Tooth Fairies (Tooth, The Tooth Fairy)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/toothiana.jpg
  • Potential House: Fairies
  • Rank: Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: The Tooth Box
  • Theme Song:
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Action Girl, Has A Beautiful Character Design, Adorkable, Is Part-Hummingbird, The Chick, Signature Color Is Pink/Purple, Flight, Improbable Weapon User, The Smurfette Principle, Stated That She Works Every Night
  • Domains: Fairies, Teeth, Memories
  • Herald(s): Her fairies (specifically Baby Tooth)
  • High Priest: The Tooth Fairy
  • Allies:
  • Friendly Rivals: Decidueye
  • Enemies: Pitch Black, the evil-aligned deities of House of Mentalism, The Fairy Godmother, Maleficient, Denzel Crocker, The Child Abuse Supporters, the evil-aligned bird deities
  • Conflicting Opinion: Navi
  • With almost all of the Guardians ascended, it's time for Toothiana to find her way to the Pantheon. She was able to ascend by collecting all of the children's teeth in the Pantheon with the help of her fairies after an incident which broke a single tooth in every child deity, putting them in the Tooth Boxes to secure the memories they had and gave them a small amount of money as a payment. The Tooth Boxes that she had impressed a lot of deities, which caused her ascencion.
    • Of course, the Guardians are there to celebrate her ascencion as she is basically the last one to ascend. She isn't glad to see that Pitch Black is already here, but nontheless is proud to be here and is ready to do her job.
    • A lot of child deities are happy to see the tooth fairy, with them commenting on how pretty her design and wings are, which causes her to giggle. They also like to hang out with her small fairies, which she allows them to do so.
  • She uses her temple as a palace to collect the teeth of the children with her fairies as heralds. As stated above, the deities are impressed with her methods, with a lot of them (particularly the adults) going to her temple to see what memories they had in the tooth box. Nontheless, she tries to her best to do her jobs and usually gives them the memories that they remember the most.
    • Because of this, a lot of deities that specialized with memory manipulation hate her (particularly the evil-aligned deities of Mentalism) as it means that Toothiana has evidence to know whether or not the memories they held are real or fake and may possibly break deities out of it. Hearing about this, she made her temple much more secure than ever, as she doesn't like the news of hearing that deities like them could do something horrible like this.
    • She feels bad for those that suffer from amnesia, and when they usually approach her, she isn't sure if how their memories will shape them after regaining them, so she holds it back. Although she is glad to see those that were able to regain their memories by themselves and were able to stay good and/or became better versions of themselves.
  • As she is technically a tooth fairy, she is welcome by the Fairy deities. The only fairy deity she hate is The Fairy Godmother, Maleficient and the Head Pixie as the former is an evil bastard whi gives people happy endings for her own gain, Maleficient for hurting the child with a curse causing her own death and the Head Pixie wants to take over the Fairy World. She isn't sure what to think of Navi, but lets her opinion towards the small fairy set aside
    • Due to the fact that they have fairies as companions, she is allies with Timmy Turner, Link, Aurora, Cael Cyndar, and Peter Pan. She in particular, prefers Link thanks to his heroism and bravery to defeat the forces of evil. Whenever he visits her temple, she gives him a Tooth Box that held the happiest memories of one of his incarnations.
    • Of course that when she heard of Denzel Crocker's situation, she thinks that he is insane and that his obsession with fairies have gone too far. For Crocker, when he heard of her ascencion, he is fully determined to capture her as much as other fairies in the Pantheon, which irritated her to the point that she once broke his teeth.
    • Jorgen is not happy to see that the Tooth Fairy he knows dod not ascend. However, he respects her and her dedication to her job.
  • When they heard that she is actually part-hummingbird, the bird deities approach her because of it. The good-aligned seem to favor her, despite the fact that she is not fully bird like them and love to help her out, which contributes to her Genki Girl personality. The evil-aligned don't like her and don't consider her to be like them, although some of them are impressed that she was able to used her feathers as weapons.
    • When hearing about the fact that she used her feathers as weapons, Decidueye approached her because of it. Sometimes, the Pantheon sees them hanging out like friends, other times, they challenge each other to see who's the better fighter. It's somehow safe to say that they're relationship are that of friendly rivals.
  • Since she protects children, she is enemies with the Child Abuse Supporters and is supportive of the Heroic Protectors of Family, especially because she acts like a mother to her small fairies.

Lei Wulong, God of Stances

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lei_t7frs2_7.jpg
  • Potential House: Fighting Moves
  • [tup]s: Roku
  • Rank: Lesser God
  • Symbol: His Kung-Fu attire in the original games. Alternatively, his pink police outfit in the original games
  • Theme Song: His theme in Tekken 2. Alternatively, his theme in Tekken 3
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: His Name Translates To "Thundering Martial Arts Dragon", Badass Back, Bunny-Ears Lawyer, Jackie Chan's Clone, Difficult, but Awesome, Drunken Master (suprisingly an aversion), Fingerless Gloves, Real Men Wear Pink, Silver Fox, Super Cop
  • Domains: Stances, Officers, Investigation
  • Allies:
  • Others: Gen, Johnny Cage, Cassie Cage, the law enforcement community of the Pantheon, Jackie Chan, Cole McGrath
  • Enemies:
  • Friendly Enemy: Sly Cooper
  • Additional Character Relationships: Sonya Blade
  • Opposed by/Opposes: Kratos
  • Conflicting Opinion: Jin Kazama
  • While searching for someone to represent his old trope, Gen finally find the one, Lei Wulong. A police officer who particularly participates the King of Iron Fist Tournament to find his targets, he was said to hzve 8 stances on his own. As such, Gen proposed for his ascencion, which was successfully held. He congratualted Lei and wished that he would make his old temple proud.
  • As he is a police officer, he actually had a lot of encounters with a lot of deities in his world, either he is against them or loves them.
    • He has a grudge against the Mishimas. He is particularly against Kazumi as even though he understood her reasons for marrying Heihachi, he believes Kazumi is the one who made Mishimas the screw-ups they are now. The only Mishima he gets along with is Lars, due to his status as one of the only white sheeps of the family. For Jin however, Lei believes that there is still good in him, but knew he should arrest him for his crimes that he committed when he declared war towards the entire world. He wishes that Jin will change his ways before it's too late. Although he doesn't know what happened to him when he disappeared from the face of the Earth, but wishes that the best will come out.
    • He is friends with Jun, despite the fact she is Jin's mother, thanks to their encounter in the 2nd King of Iron Fist Tournament. Lei doesn't understand why she told Jin to go to Heihachi, knowing how much of a horrible person he is. Jun seems to understand this and expresses grief on how she wishes Jin will turn out better.
    • He's not proud to see that Nina is in the Pantheon. However, because she is busy fighting her sister, Anna, he postpones himself from hunting her down.
    • He is however, in good terms with her son, Steve Fox, because they have team up in the past.
    • He is happy to see Asuka and Xiaoyu again as he is friends with both of them. Although, he doesn't want to see them continuing their search of Jin, especially Xiaoyu, as he is afraid that they will get hurt, but he understood the latter's reasons of doing this and wishes her good luck as he expresses the same desire as Xiaoyu that they both see that there's still good in Jin, just that they do it in different ways.
  • Because Nina is too preoccupied with Anna, he is currently dealing with Christie, which is a big Oh, Crap! moment to him as she is an assassin and considers her to be a eviller version to Nina.
  • He understood Johnny and Cassie's situation and gave them his condolences. He told Sonya to get her act together before she risks losing them forever.
  • Lei is actually a laid-back person. However, he is so suprisingly dedicated to his job to the point you could basically say that he is basically married to his job and is such a workaholic. Because of this, he has endeared himself to the Pantheon's law enforcement community. There is talk about him joining the Major Crimes Division, having been endorsed by Bajirao Singham and Renee Montoya.
  • As he is basically a clone to Jackie Chan, the latter heard about this and demanded to meet him. They manage to get along because of their similar personalities and lifestyles, with Jackie Chan expressing his interest on having a challenge with him.
  • Suprisingly, he is actually a spokesperson to Sony products. This caught the interest to those who are affiliated with Sony as a result.
    • He respects Cole McGrath's morality and his decision to become good, but is suprised to see that he is somehow friends woth Jin, which really doesn't negatively impacted their friendship as one of his friends, Xiaoyu is also friends with him and is currently searching for him so that she could changed his ways and he does still believe that Jin could change his ways.
    • He doesn't respect Kratos because of what he did to the Greek gods. Although he hopes that him having a son and being a decent parent figure will change his ways.
    • He considers Sly Cooper to be one of his biggest challenges as a police officer. He does consider him to be better than his enemies and can see he is a good person at heart, so they're starting to become more like friendly enemies.
    • He is planning to have Sweet Tooth as one of his targets in his career as he is a serial killer. As expected, Sweet Tooth doesn't take it lightly and plans to kill Lei if they ever cross paths.
  • Lei himself is a Drunken Master, but what suprised people is that he isn't actually drunk and even if he looks like he is drunk, he just wants to do it for fun and just to be silly for a while, which mostly cobtributed due to his huge dedication to his career. This caused a lot of deities, particularly those from the House of Alcohol to force him to drink a lot of alcohol just so they could see him how he acts when he gets drunk.....which they failed at all the time.
  • Is a big fan of noodles, so of course he went to the House of Food to eat a lot of his favorite food when he is in his laid-back persona and not too dedicated to his job. You could say that Lei is trying to vouch for someone to represent noodles just because he loves that food.

[up][tup] Do it.

I'm still considering whether to delete Kaban and Serval's profile to make way for Land of the Lustrous, but I only watched the anime. Is this a good idea or not?

Anyway, here's Sakura Matou since the rework thread is being abandoned, though the profile contains UNMARKED SPOILERS.

I've been browsing the site and noticed that there's an official trope for God of Chaos. Anyone in favor of making that Lucifer's official office? 'Creator of Chaos' doesn't really mean anything and while he has Affably Evil as a title trope, God of Chaos would underline his role as an Allignment Incarnation.

First draft. I don't know which other profiles Finn is mentioned in since.

Finn Mertens, God of Heroic Swordsmen (Finn the Human, Pen, King of the Goblins, Davey Johnson, P-G-8-7 Mertens)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Jake-the-Human-adventure-time-with-finn-and-jake-12855647-500-674_6067.jpg
Finn without his hat.
Finn from season 8 onwards.
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: His iconic hat
  • Theme Song: His show's theme song. Alternatively, Island Song.
  • Alignment: Shifts between Neutral Good and Chaotic Good, heavier on the Neutral side as he got older
  • Portfolio: Token Humans, Kid Heroes, Character Development, Determination, Fighting For Great Justice and Happiness, Heroic Willpower, Gold Hair, Adorkable, Morality Chain to most of his important friends, Beware the Nice Ones, Bodyguard Crushes, Mundane Made Awesome, Pint Sized Powerhouses, Samaritan Syndrome, Heartbroken Badasses, Book Dumb, Reincarnation Of The Blue Catalyst Comet, Stock Shōnen Hero Deconstruction
  • Domains: Humankind, Adventure, Surrealism, Children
  • Heralds: Joshua and Margaret (His adoptive parents and Jake's parents), Jermaine (His adoptive brother and Jake's brother)
  • High Priests: The Warriors For Hire
  • Allies:
  • Enemies:
  • Opposes: Abusive and dead-beat parents
  • A former follower of Ness, he ascended in his own right when O-Haruhi-sama found records of him being the token human in a world filled with really surreal and strange beings.
    • His title was revoked however once it was revealed he wasn't the only human on Ooo. Well, not any longer, after Betty Grof entered present Ooo from the past, not to mention the truth of Susan Strong. To compensate, they gave Finn Heroes Prefer Swords since all of his prefered weapons were swords (though he had a crossbow and used an axe in his early days). Glob, even one of his swords was made from an alternate version of Finn himself.
    • Don't think he's useless without a sword, though; he fights with his bare hands just as often.
  • Now that The Lich has ascended, he swears to defeat him once and for all, no matter how many times it takes.
  • Even after twice being subjected to Ship Sinking, once when it was made clear that PB doesn't see him as more than a friend, and once when he broke his relationship with FP due to an impulsive mistake before repairing it again only up to friendship, shippers hope that his potential relationship with Huntress Wizard won't end as badly as the previous cases.
  • Due to BMO plucking Finn's facial hairs while he sleeps to keep him "forever young", Finn was forced to deal with stubble ever since BMO's own ascension (and this meant he wouldn't always be there every night to trim his face) and learn how to shave.
  • Finn used to be scared of the ocean (and only the ocean- rivers and lakes don't count) probably from him almost drowning in it as a newborn while stuck on a raft. However, he eventually got over it and thus learned that his human father was still alive. Though he'd later learn that his human father is a terrible person.
  • Despite normally being Book Dumb is more than a few areas, Finn is surprisingly skilled in cartography. He's also pretty proficient with the flute.
  • It's surprising for most to know thus, but Finn has deuteranopia, a form of heredity dichromatism that makes it difficult to distinguish green hues from red.
  • Ever since drinking from a magic spring, Finn has also displayed immunity to electrical attacks, probably on par with or greater than Ash's.
  • After spending so long not knowing about his people, Finn would eventually find Ooo's last remaining humans located on a group of islands; led by none other than his mother. Fortunately, unlike his dad, Finn would find his mom to be a genuinely kind and caring person; despite initially not approving of his adventuring lifestyle.
  • Sympathizes with Yang, due to also going through a period of depression after losing his arm. Yang, meanwhile, admires Finn for how well he handled losing his arm a second time.
    • Speaking of losing his arm, there's been debate on what to do given his final scene in the series seems to have him content with not replacing it. Given how much he's needed in the Pantheon, it was decided that his last prosthetic arm would be replicated and installed on Finn; no need for other ridiculous additions, given he already killed Fern by accident with his previous one.
  • He has become slightly wary of doppelganger deities after his own doppelganger and former friend, Fern, tried to kill and replace him, and had been inadvertently forced to kill him in return (though he came back to life).
    • This distrust has since faded away after making amends with Fern.
    • Speaking of killing Fern, that event was what toned him down from being so excited with fighting, to the point where he would actively advocate for a non-violent solution to stop a war from breaking out.
  • He, along with the rest of the Adventure Time were given a huge send-off from the Pantheon gods when his show finally came to an end. The newer Cartoon Network deities in particular were torn up about its ending, many of them drawing influence from the show. Amidst the many tears that were shed in the Pantheon, Finn reassured everyone that even with the show ending, he and his friends won't stop going on adventures anytime soon, even if they happen in another medium altogether. Unfortunately, it seems that avenue has been shut down, too.
  • With his show now over, he, along with Jake, Mordecai and Rigby now look over the other CN deities of The New '10s and regularly offer them guidance.

What is to be added to these SCP bois? I didn't mention the followers for 035 because they weren't in the Murderous Mask trope

SCP-035, God of Killer Masks (Possessive Mask, possibly Black Lord of Alagadda, Wearer of the Anguished Mask)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/a119dce5370b95b03be58679a867fe20.jpg
SCP-035 without any secretions
  • Adopted from: fasoman1996
  • Potential House: Ambiguous rank (House of Costumes)
  • Rank: Keter. Power flunctuates depending on its Host. (Currently a Demigod)
  • Symbol: Itself
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Decays anything it touches into demonic gunk, Cool Mask, Covered in Gunge, Takes control of whomever wears it, Evil Mask, Mask of Power, Kills anyone who wears it unless they have powerful enough regenerative abilities, Being only a container for evil
  • Domains: Corruption, Masks, Decay, Persuasiveness, Demons
  • Banned from: The House of Theater
  • Interested in: Anyone who can resist its corrosive effects and be placed under its control. Also, Metron
  • Allies: Phazon, Zinyak, Johan Liebert, Pazuzu
  • Rivals: Majora, Jack of Blades, Uka Uka (friendly with Jack)
  • Enemies: Aku Aku, Hata no Kokoro, Stanley Ipkiss/The Mask, Father Kerras and Father Merrin, Faust, Nabu/Doctor Fate, the Forms of Immortality sub-house
  • Opposed by: Jervis Tetch
  • SCP-035 is a malevolent mask capable of possessing anyone who wears it, having escaped containment during a breach initiated by SCP-106 and latching onto a unsuspecting Foundation personnel. Having managed to escape and wander about the Pantheon, the mask kept changing locations secretly and many decayed bodies were found overtime, all with a black corrosive element flowing from the corpses. Eventually it was caught after it latest host perished and was unable to find another in time, being discovered by the Court of Gods and immediately recontained by the Foundation. Having noted of the highly dangerous nature of the mask, it was given the position of Murderous Mask.
  • Given that once latched it can mentally manipulate its host to do whatever it likes, SCP-035 is usually given a new host and made to stay far away for anyone higher than lesser. Recurring to D-Class in containment was something the Court of Gods was very unhappy to allow but they also tend to grab any evil doer that needs punishment (since death rarely sticks) and so when they are caught, they are thrown into SCP-035's temple, provided they are irredeemably evil.
  • Some believe that SCP-035 is best suited contained in the House of Toxicity due to its secretions, however it was advised against since many there could resist its corrosive effects, making them ideal hosts. One figures that the mask tried to take over was the Lich, who proved Too Spicy for Yog-Sothoth and SCP-035 fell off. The Possessive Mask would rather not mention what he experienced.
  • Due to resembling a comedy mask, SCP-035 tried to sneak itself into the House of Theater to find a new host. 035 was quickly identified and relocated back to its containment/temple, so it couldn't hijack anyone there. It later showed interest in Metron, due to the potential of the Mobius Chair's knowledge merged with its own ambitions.
  • Seeks those who can resist or are immune to its corrosive nature, so it may have a permanent host. Because of this, it wants in on the Forms of Immortality, and they want it out. Heroic masks and mask users like Aku Aku and Hata no Kokoru want no part of him. SCP-035 has tried to take control of those under control of Jervis Tetch's hats, but the rival mind control got in the way of its control, annoying SCP-035.
  • For an evil mask, SCP-035 is polite and charismatic, always looking to manipulate people to escape containment. He was most amused by Johan Liebert for how he uses charm and skill to manipulate and emotionally destroy others, though knows he isn't someone who it shouldn't try to take as a host. It admires the Wicked Cultured behavior of Zinyak as well.
  • Seems to be a demon of some sorts. About the only house where SCP-035 is on its best behavior is the House of Demons, and has become friends with Pazuzu. Faust was warned deities not in the know that the Possessive Mask cannot be trusted. The exorcists are looking to purge the demon from the mask.
  • Aware of many other sentient masks in the pantheon. SCP-035 was most annoyed that it couldn't attach himself to Stanley Ipkiss or Doctor Fate, since they already had masks on and 035 wanted the masks' power for itself. It competes for power with the other evil masks, however has a fondness with Jack of Blades due to the demonic-like force inhabiting the mask reminding the Possessive Mask of itself.

SCP-096, The God of Not Liking Being Looked At (The Shy Guy)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/096.png
The safest possible view of SCP-096
  • Adopted from: fasoman1996
  • Potential House: Anger (House of Emotion)
  • Lesser God, Greater God when enraged (Euclid by SCP standards)
  • Symbol: Himself, turned backwards so as not to face the viewer
  • Theme Song: Chase
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Having a morality system based on its face, Creepily Long Arms, Not wanting to have its face to be looked at, Humanoid Abomination, The Juggernaut, Lean and Mean, Will not stop until it kills anyone who looked at its face, To Serve Man, Volumetric Mouth
  • Domains: Faces, Skinniness, Rage, Rampages
  • Contained by: The SCP Foundation
  • Interests: Majora, Jack of Blades
  • Allies: None, he tries not to interact with anyone
  • Enemies: Anyone who sees his face. More specifically? Excalibur, Medusa, The Weeping Angels, SCP-173, SCP-682
  • Feared by: Cappy
  • Unclear opinion: The Boos
  • During the containment breach that resulted in SCP-106 ascending to the Pantheon, it was discovered that two other SCPs had also broken out. One was SCP-035, and the other was SCP-096. The Foundation's first priority was to find 096, not wanting to know what would happen if someone looked at its face.
  • SCP-096 was soon discovered wandering in the House of Anger, but unfortunately, Excalibur got too up in 096's face. Thankfully, the Foundation managed to get the other gods out of there without them looking at 096's face, while Excalibur dealt with 096's wrath. In the end, 096 was unable to kill anyone, thanks to, and including Excalibur, and thus 096 made the ﺧ益ﺨ face instead. Unfortunately, 096 was endorsed by Nekron, who desires to use 096's rampages for his own ends, and SCP-096 stayed in the Anger House once the Foundation rebuilt its containment chamber.
  • The SCP Foundation has advised everyone not to take photographs or any pictures of SCP-096. Artistic renderings won't trigger SCP-096, but it's probably best not to do so. And no, SCP-173 with a picture of SCP-096 is absolutely forbidden as a means of terminating SCP-682 or anything dangerous. Repeated suggestions for this will be demoted to D-Class. They tried getting 096 to terminate 682, 096 was traumatized afterwards.
  • Basically the polar opposite of the Boos. Neither of them like having their face looked at, however the Boos are paralyzed in fear while SCP-096 will go berserk. And while the Boos attack those who aren't looking, 096 is peaceful when its face isn't seen. There was a test to see what would happen if the two came in contact; as the Boos closed their eyes at the exact time SCP-096 turned its face, they didn't count as being seen and the two were paralyzed. At least until someone else saw SCP-096's face and it went on a rampage.
  • No relationship with the Shy Guys from the Super Mario Bros. series. SCP-096 isn't even properly sentient, it's just that the two don't want their face to be seen. At least, one hopes there's no relation. Mario deities are advised to stay far away from 096.
  • As it goes berserk even if the picture only has four discolored pixels, the Foundation tried to get it to attack SCP-173(who can't move if something's looking at it). SCP-173 was too fast and snapped it's neck, 173 healed and the cycle went on for about five hours before it escaped its cell. The Weeping Angels tried to gang up on SCP-096 and it proved a bloody stalemate that led both sides traumatized, the Angels unable to feed on it's potential life energy and SCP-096 unable to break them in their quantum-locked state.
  • As whoever looks at Medusa's face is petrified, she tried to pacify SCP-096. At first, it actually seemed to work as before 096 could get at her it turned to stone. Then the statue of SCP-096 started to move again, except now it was made of rock, making it even harder to deal with. Woops.
  • Majora and Jack of Blades were interested in SCP-096, due to its status as The Juggernaut. They want it to serve as their Big Dumb Body. The SCP Foundation is completely against this happening. It's theorized that while Jack of Blades wouldn't prevent SCP-096 from going berserk because the eyes would still be visible, as Majora would cover the whole face so no-one could look at it. Majora might be able to pull a Hijacking Cthulhu, but this would probably be much worse.
  • The Grand United Alliance of Good made a deal with the SCP Foundation to have Cappy be put on SCP-096 as a way to permanently pacify 096. They could trust the hat ghost. Unfortunately the Shy Guy's...nature caused Cappy to be in great pain, unable to exert any control and powerless whenever SCP-096 goes on a rampage. He was too traumatized to go anywhere near SCP-096 or anything Foundation-related again.
  • Theoretically you could pacify SCP-096 by putting a paper bag on its head. Don't tell them about it, they'll feel like massive idiots for not thinking about that first.

On a different note, do the Aparoids need more fixes and ideas or do they look ready?

The Aparoids, Unholy Keystone Army

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/aparoid_queen_8.png
The Aparoid Queen
  • Intermediate Deities collectively
  • Symbol: The Winged Aparoid
  • Theme Music: Aparoid Blitz, Aparoid Pigma (Collectively); Aparoid Queen, Queen's Core (For the Aparoid Queen)
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Assimilation Plot, The Virus, Horde of Alien Locusts
  • Domains: Assimilation, Aliens
  • Tense Alliance: Alex Mercer
  • Rivals: Borg Queen, The Flood, The Vex, The Infested
  • Enemies: Star Fox, Wolf O'Donnell, Sgt. Calhoun, Wreck-It Ralph, Jean-Luc Picard, James Heller
  • Source of Interest for: The Grox
  • Unknown Relation: Phazon
  • During a mission to take down remnants of Andross' army, the Star Fox team unexpectedly encounter a force far deadlier than what they're used to: the Aparoids. A race of insect/cyborg hybrids, their goal is to assimilate all life into their collective hive and are led by the Aparoid Queen, an apparently soulless being who sought to bypass evolution. Not only can the Aparoids infect organic beings into their mind, they can also infect machines. In order to combat this menace, Star Fox sought the help of Slippy's father to create a self-destruct program that would eradicate all the Aparoids once put into place. The team reached the Aparoids' homeworld and after a fierce battle with the Aparoid Queen, Star Fox activated the self-destruct program, and had to damage the queen further in order for the program to activate. In the end, once the queen was destroyed, all of the Aparoids perished as well.
  • As business was going around as usual in the Pantheon, there were reports of unusual bug-like creatures roaming around, prompting certain deities to try and exterminate them. A sense of dread grew as reports got out that machinery was infected by those bugs and things got worse when some deities became assimilated by these creatures. The news eventually reached Star Fox, who quickly realized that the Aparoids somehow found their way to the Pantheon and they quickly sought the help of some scientists to create an effective program that would stop the Aparoids' threat before things became dire. The Star Fox crew headed to where the Aparoid Queen was located and, knowing about what the Queen is capable of, made slightly quicker work of her before using the self-destruct program on her. While the queen did try to suppress it like what happened before, that program was a bit stronger thanks to the skills of the various Pantheonic scientists. While the threat of the Aparoids has subsided for the time being, Star Fox is aware that the Aparoids are going to strike again (and potentially be even more of a threat than before) and are determined to make sure the Pantheon doesn't fall to these creatures.
  • Many have drawn similarities between the Aparoids and the Borg, especially when it comes to their goal of assimilating others. The Borg Queen thinks that the Aparoids could pose a potent obstacle to her goals and is making sure that she and her Borg army surpass the Aparoids in terms of capabilities. Given that the Aparoid Queen wants to bypass evolution, there is a strong possibility that the Aparoids are trying to surpass the Borgs' capabilities via trying to eliminate them.
    • Jean-Luc Picard, who has fought against the Borg in the past alongside his crew members and was among the deities involved in trying to slow down the Aparoids before they could overtake the Pantheon, took the similarities seriously and wasn't happy with learning that the Aparoids are another version of one of Picard's biggest threats. He, alongside many other space explorers, have continued to participate in the effort to thwart the Aparoids' plans, with Star Fox providing help to these space explorers whenever possible.
  • One method that the Aparoid Queen uses in trying to get its foes to submit to her is by imitating the voices of those its victims know very well. This didn't really work on Star Fox as Fox knew better than anyone that his dad would never tell him to give up. The Aparoid Queen has since looked into more effective methods of destroying the fighting spirit of her foes before either destroying them or assimilating them as part of her collective.
  • While they were sending their insectoid army of Insectrox Gronox on a mission, The Grox witnessed the Aparoids in action and were very intriguied by the Aparoids' abilities. Once that assignment was over, The Grox has continued studying the Aparoids and have thought up of ideas on not only to improve themselves, but to potentially use the Aparoids for their own goals, provided that the Grox don't end up getting assimilated by the Aparoids first.
  • Much of the Aparoid army bears some sort of resemblance to space bugs in terms of appearance. Sgt. Calhoun and Wreck-It Ralph, both having had experience in fighting against Cy-Bugs, were very concerned about what the Aparoids are capable, especially when it comes to assimilating others and have fought against a number of the Aparoids' lower-level mooks. King Candy, having been absorbed by a Cy-Bug and gaining that creature's abilities in the process, was more than reminded of that particular moment after learning about and seeing the Aparoids in action. While a King Candy-fused Cy-Bug was bad enough, it's more than likely to be worse if he ends up getting assimilated by an Aparoid.
  • There is a highly heated rivalry between them and The Flood as far as their goals are concerned. Both have had experience in trying to assimilate others into their ranks and breaking others mentally, though The Gravemind is more interested in seeing everyone and everything suffer and the Aparoid Queen wants to surpass evolution and take over everything in its way. Battles between their soldiers end up being deadly and seeing a member of The Flood get infected by Aparoids and vice-versa has been noted to be terrifying in appearance.
    • One of the battles between the armies had a group of Phazon-infected Flood soldiers entering the battlefield, causing an even bigger mess than most other fights before it. The Aparoid Queen was curious about the Phazon and the more it learned about Phazon, the more that this substance was on the queen's mind in some capacity. Knowing that the Phazon will just kill anyone with a weak-mind, she has been toughening up her soldiers should an opportunity to get involved with the Phazon arrive.
  • Alex Mercer, who is merciless when it comes to absorbing others and getting whatever power they have, found out about the Aparoids and fought them, hoping to gain some additional power from them. This eventually led him to the Aparoid Queen, where he found out that it wanted to surpass evolution and take over the galaxy. Mercer noted that the Aparoids were similar to The Borg in terms of abilities and that was when he found out that the Aparoids were in conflict with the Borg. The Aparoid Queen figured that Mercer could be of some use in trying to dispose of The Borg and has offered some sort of proposition to him: he would gain some of the Aparoids' powers and would not only eliminate the Borg, but anything else that gets in the Aparoids' way. It's a very tenuous alliance to say the least, as Mercer intends to absorb the Aparoid Queen and her troops should The Borg get elminated entirely and the Aparoid Queen doesn't intend to keep Mercer around for long either.
    • Mercer's temporary alliance with them angered James Heller, who has a personal vendetta towards Mercer, quite a bit to put it mildly. It's one thing that a power-hungry monster is on the loose causing untold amounts of damage, but that monster willing to work with a dangerous race of aliens just to gain more power was more than enough for Heller to double his efforts in not only stopping Mercer, but to help out in stopping the Aparoids from causing further damage to the Pantheon and prevent more innocents from getting assimilated into them.
  • A number of their most brutal fights tend to happen whenever The Vex is their opponents. Seeing as how the Aparoids are capable of assimilating themselves into non-organic matter, The Vex are doing everything they can so that their members don't fall to the Aparoids in addition to trying to eliminate every single Aparoid from their sights or re-shape them into The Vex's own image. The Aparoid Queen sees The Vex's goals as a major obstacle in surpassing evolution.
  • One fantastical race in the Pantheon that The Aparoid Queen is a bit curious about is The Infested thanks to their potent adaptive abilities. Even if it makes the Aparoids look more horrific and deformed upon absorbing them, the Aparoid Queen is willing to look further in them. This didn't sit well with The Infested and it resulted in more dangerous battles for the Aparoids. Many are worried about what could happen if the Aparoids really are successful in gaining the abilities of The Infested.

[up][up][up][up][up] Enemies with the Crystal Gems. The original formation of the group was to combat Homeworld, which, while not assimilating planets, still colonized them to suck out their resources and increase their own numbers. The Aparoid Queen may be both interested and irritated with them, as Gems don't evolve, but their bodies being made from hard light and gemstone leaves them immune to Aparoid assimilation. Steven and Connie are kept as far from them as possible due to being mostly organic and fully organic, respectively. Otherwise, [tup].
