The Hall of Metal and Minerals are a large quarry located in the desert, with metal domiciles and machines dotting the landscape. There are tunnel routes going deep into the Earth's crust in order to extract both metallic ore and precious metals. The largest building is a steel mill. Those who wish to enter the deserts are advised to bring water supplies with them, as sources of water are non-existent here.

The temples are located depending on the god's personal domain and/or interest. Gods related to sand will have their temple in the desert sand, while gods related to metal will have their temple in metal constructs and forgeries. This house is the main supplier of gems for the House of Commerce, and metal for the House of Machinery and Technology.

  • Gaara was once the son of the Fourth Kazekage, Rasa, who was purposed to be a tool of great destruction against his enemies. To that end, Rasa decided to seal the One-Tailed Beast, Shukaku, into his son, whilst in the womb of his wife, Karura, resulting in her death and her son becoming a jinchuriki. Growing up, Gaara was hated and feared by his village, only receiving company from his uncle and his siblings, only becoming more unhinged and despondent when his uncle died confessing to hating him the whole timenote . Years later, in addition to becoming a bloodthirsty and unfettered man who killed indiscriminately, Gaara would enrol in the Chunin Exams held in Konoha, where his past and demeanour would be challenged by another jinchuriki named Naruto Uzumaki, who had a similar childhood, but with a contrasting approach and view to life. In the midst of the Konoha Invasion, Naruto defeated Gaara and managed to convince him of how valuable life and their close ones could be, kickstarting Gaara's change in his mindset and growth into a better person, best shown when he decided to provide backup for the Sasuke Retrieval Team by aiding Rock Lee against Kimimaro.
    • Years later Gaara would not only become stronger and wiser, but would eventually become the Fifth Kazekage of Sunagakura. Unfortunately, this was short-lived when Deidara and Sasori, two members of the Akatsuki, were dispatched to capture Gaara and extrat Shukaku from him. Despite his (Kankuro's) best efforts, Gaara was defeated and Shukaku was eventually extrated from his body, leading to his death. After a battle against a rescue squad and the Akatsuki members who were sent to capture him, Gaara was ressurected by Chiyo, who sacrificed her life in doing so. In spite of not having a Tailed Beast within him, Gaara remained a dedicated and powerful ninja and leader to his village and a commendable ally to his friends, being willing to step up and oppose Tobi and Madara Uchiha during the Fourth Shinobi World War, a front that had proven to be successful in the end. As time went on, Gaara became among the longest-lasting Kazekages in Sunagakure, an influential figure in the Ninja World and even managed to connect with Shukaku and develop an amicable relationship with the Tailed Beast.
  • Gaara's story, despite being similar to Naruto's, is generally considered to be a lot more somber and cynical as unlike the latter who at least had a few friends and mentors in his childhood to loom up to for support and morale, the former didn't really have any, and alongside being hated, warped Gaara into an anti-social figure who didn't hesitate to kill and inspire fear. Of course, this has all changed for the better, but it's still a major basis for Gaara's ascension into the Pantheon, despite his affinity to his sand manipulation. He was bought into a new realm during the advent of the Fourth Shinobi World War, and this helped Gaara immensely as instead of fear and pity, he was able to inspire camaraderie, respect, and commitment thanks to his own Character Development. And even after the war's end, his time in the Pantheon remained important enough for Gaara to consider contributing to it, thanks to some encouragement from Naruto himself. He's aware that many of his former enemies have returned here, but with old and new friends and allies as well as a new world to learn and explore, Gaara thinks his presence in the Pantheon is worth a merit and is eager to contribute.
  • Despite his utterly terrible childhood and his borderline-psychopathic nature as a teen, Gaara is now more known for being a well-respected leader as well as one of the Pantheon's most proficient wielders of sand manipulation. In fact, he's done a lot to ensure that his past actions are not the first thing what others would be reminded of regarding him as. And he's largely succeeded, giving Gaara a strong standing as someone that many in the Pantheon can look up to as well as himself doing the best to keep in tabs with his close ones, particularly his siblings, Naruto, and Shukaku, given that the latter two are properly represented in the Pantheon. And regarding his sand powers, while they're inherently as a result of Shukaku being sealed into him, they've still remained even after his extraction and furthermore, the sand itself is a manifestation of Gaara's mother, Karura, whenever he's in a time of great need and/or is about to be killed. The sand can be used offensively and defensively, being able to brutally crush, main, and kill others with enough applied force whilst also enabling a sturdy line of defense that Gaara uses as a way to shield himself from nearly all sorts of attacks. That said, Gaara's manipulation of sand requires a good amount of chakra to be used for long periods of time, though he's since become better at handling this disadvantage.
  • Given his own experience of having to change his perspective on life as well as his demeanour and reputation, Gaara generally appreciates those who usually try to make an effort to consider others to grow past their negative qualities and try embracing a more optimistic and brighter goal and desires. In addition to becoming a better person, Gaara also found himself becoming more likable and stronger thanks to Naruto. As a result, he was pleased to see that the Pantheon had no shortage for such people, such as Son Goku and Jonathan Joestar, who have been well-known for conversing with their enemies and turning them into close friends and allies for the most part. Jonathan shed tears upon learning Gaara's past, but smiled upon learning of his current disposition as well as being very friendly and accepting of the ninja when they met. Goku personally saw Gaara as a mellow fellow and has made attempts to get him to open up every once in a while, especially by tempting him to fight, eager to see how Gaara fights using his sand manipulation. The Kazekage is open to the idea of fighting Goku, if it means the latter can be satisfied and if the former can get more accustomed to Goku's extroverted attitude.
  • Given that his main power asset is a specialized form of geokinesis, some people sometimes forget that Gaara is a ninja, which is made all the more glaring as the Kazekage simply fights from a distance and usually doesn't use any tactics and abilities any conventional ninja would use. That said, his siblings, Kankuro and Temari, despite their fantastical use of puppetry and fans respectively, end up showing off more ninja traits than their younger brother does. That said, it hasn't stopped Gaara from taking some interest in the Ninja Turtles, a quartet of mutant brothers who've made countless attempts in fighting villainous forces and saving the Earth and the universe, particularly from The Shredder. The Turtles were initially uneasy of Gaara due to his past, but came to like and respect him after learning more about the Kazekage. Leonardo is able to get along with him best, seeing as Gaara's introverted nature makes him a bit hard to get through, as Michaelangelo's attempts at light jokes and Donatello's attempts to introduce him to technology haven't been so successful, as well as Leo simply having some relatability with Gaara in being leaders who have to carry a burden. Regardless, the Kazekage and the Ninja Turtles are open to the idea of allying and fighting alongside each other.
  • Of course, Gaara would quickly come to see that not every manipulator of sand would use their powers for beneficial means and this has served as a motivator to prepare himself for the occasion that he may have to deal with someone who could be stronger or better than him in their ability to control sand. He doesn't take kindly to those like Crocodile, a former pirate Warlord who used his reputation to create a criminal empire and assert his authority and power by his master of sand via the consumption of the Sand-Sand Devil Fruit. The fact that two well-recognized leaders who happened to control sand didn't go unnoticed for Gaara and Crocodile and the latter found the situation to be pretty amusing, though he confides that the former's early teen years were admittedly creepy. Despite their enmity, Gaara and Crocodile don't clash often, partly because they have differing priorities and partly because Crocodile has other ambitions to look into, not to mention he's aware that Gaara is stronger than him and he has to play the pragmatic route if he wants to challenge the Kazekage.
    • While mainly a manipulator of time with some control over sand, Gaara quickly came to oppose the Titaness, Kronika, seeing her as mad and delusional like Madara was in his desire for peace. Strangely, Kronika felt pitiful for Gaara's sad childhood and tried to use this knowledge to coerce the Kazekage into working alongside her with the promise that Kronika would give Gaara a better childhood and life than he currently does. All that did was actually piss him off and reaffirm that while what he went through was something no one should ever endure, it's also the reason he met Naruto and became a better man from that experience, not to mention that he was quick to see that Kronika was full of empty promises given her track record regarding minions. On another note, Gaara also butts heads against her sentient construct with time and sand manipulation, Geras, though he sincerely has some ounce of respect for the Kazekage. Gaara thinks that Geras isn't too bad a person, just someone who is too bound to Kronika's manipulations and feels that he could be freed from her services. In fact, Gaara turns out to be one of the few who not only pities Geras, but wants to redeem him despite his allegiance, though there hasn't been much progress made in spite of the two having some mutual respect for each other.
  • He has an… interesting relationship with Toph Beifong, which is probably the best way to sum it up. They only met after a simulation created by Wiz and Broomstick which featured Toph stepping into ancient grounds and provoked Gaara into fighting her. Toph won out due to her Earthbending skills even extending to include Metalbending and more potent uses in her Earth manipulation, and though Toph likes to see the simulation as a confidence boost in her power, Gaara doesn't really seem to care too much. Instead, he saw that Toph had a similarly difficult childhood, being ostracized mainly for her blindness. The two have contrasting personalities with Toph's extroverted nature being rather intriguing for Gaara to witness, given Naruto is also like that. Despite their differences, they found a degree of respect in each other, though Gaara thinks Toph should try being a leader, seeing as she has potential, though Toph thinks she's better off having fun elsewhere. They'll still fight against each other, though on more friendly terms unlike what Wiz and Boomstick's simulation showcased.
  • While Gaara still maintains a good relationship with Shukaku and will fight alongside and defend the Tailed Beast if the situation calls for it, he was open to the idea of bonding with a beast with sand-controlling powers. This led him to the Armor Pokémon, Tyranitar. They had a rocky start, with the Kazekage being alerted of an unexpected sandstorm that he personally went to investigate that was caused by the Tyranitar. The Pokémon's territorial nature caused it to instinctively attack Gaara, who managed to restrain it and made an attempt to reason with the beast. The Kazekage's words and assurance were able to pacify and reason with the Pokémon, who took note of his loneliness, which resulted in its irate nature. Eventually, Gaara offered the idea of companionship so that Tyranitar wouldn't have to feel lonely, which the Armor Pokémon manages to accept. Since then, the two have become a formidable force whose dual use of sand has given them a bigger reputation, especially for Tyranitar. Shukaku himself feels impressed by what Tyranitar is capable of, citing Gaara as having made the best partner possible in regards to his replacement.
  • Being someone whose purpose of existing was to fulfill a specific archetype, his case being a weapon of mass-destruction via being Shukaku's jinchuriki, Gaara would find himself encountering a couple of figures who were similarly born for a purpose. Among these were the mutant, X-23, who was a clone of the mutant known as Wolverine and even suffered a similar abuse as Gaara did before becoming a capable heroine and taking on the name of Laura Kinney. There was also Terry McGinnis, a young teen who, unbeknownst to him was actually a biological clone to Bruce Wayne, who was better known to superheroes as Batman and was specifically made as a successor in case Bruce left his work as a hero. Even then, despite the idea being scrapped by A.R.G.U.S., Terry would take up the mantle anyway and prove to be a worthy successor. Finally, two of Bruce's other children, Cassandra Cain and Damian Wayne were raised to be trained fighters and killers by their father and mother respectively before Bruce eventually found and took them under his wing in an effort to be a better parental figure as well as the kids being a force for justice in the future. Gaara easily got along with Laura, Cassandra, and Damian for their similar upbringing and was open to mentoring them if he can provide it. While connecting with Terry was somewhat hard, the two nevertheless have approved of each other's attempt at being a force of good.
    • He was a bit shook when he learned about Maul, a former Sith Lord who dedicated his life against his former master and the Jedi Order so that one day, he can rebuild the Sith Order in his liking. In addition to having a similar background as tormented beings since childhood, Maul never really let go of his hatred and continued to allow that to define his life, motives, and power. Gaara personally saw Maul as what he potentially could have been if he never let go of his homicidal urges by adulthood. They are enemies due to Maul's destructive nature being an obstacle Gaara has had to deal with, but the latter does sympathize with what the former had to go through and sincerely hopes that Maul could find peace, though this hasn't gotten anywhere, considering Maul's own one-track-minded goal of achieving what he wanted in his mortal life. The only thing they can mutually agree on is opposing Emperor Palpatine, partly because he's an example of what a leader shouldn't be as well as demonstrating the worst of parenting and mentoring, something which personally ticks Gaara off just as much as it does to Maul.
  • Gaara was a bit saddened to learn of the tale of a man known as Aidan. Unlike the Kazekage, he was simply a warrior who wanted to put an end to Diablo and his attempts on damning Earth and its populace, to the extent where he took soulstone in an attempt to stave off the Lord of Terror. As admirable as his goal was, Aidan ended up being corrupted and influenced by Diablo, its presence increasing until Aidan was more or less dead by identity and he had simply become a vessel for Diablo. Gaara personally wishes Aidan peace and desires to meet and try to befriend him, but the fact that Aidan in the Pantheon is just another body hosted by the Lord of Terror meant that the Kazekage could do nothing but fight against him.
    • On another note, two members of S.E.E.S., Makoto Yuuki and Kotone Shiomi happened to have a fragment of a death entity, Nyx embedded within them, courtesy of Aigis, with the other 13 parts of Nyx being consolidated into the Full Moon Shadows that the three of them and their compatriots had to fight against later down their adventure. While they don't really have much to relate on, Gaara genuinely admires S.E.E.S. for their friendship and loyalty towards one another and feels somewhat inspired by their tale. That said, he's not really good at expressing them, given that he's socially inept and thus his praises can come off as somewhat awkward according to him. Even then, the members of S.E.E.S. didn't mind that and thanked the Kazekage for his praise towards them, with Gaara even being open to the idea of fighting alongside them if they ever need support.
    • The Tenno were another subject for interest of Gaara, given that they were just teenagers who were exposed to the void in an attempt to engineer them into biomechanical warriors capable of all sorts of powers with the ability manipulate sand to their design, including "devouring" their enemies with it and creating sand copies of them, being one of many. They've also went on to combat threats like The Infested and The Grineer as well as being protective of others, including the Sand People of Mars in the past. While Gaara didn't like the Tenno's source of origin, which reminded him too much of his childhood, he found respect and appreciation for them in general as willing defenders and could personally find himself in camaraderie with them. The Tenno were reciprocative of the Kazekage's perspective on them and have come to see him as a mutual friend and ally since.
  • He doesn't take kindly to those who deliberately try to engineer someone into being a weapon, which was understandable, given that he was put into a similar situation during his childhood. As such, Gaara condemns those like Ozwell E. Spenser and Professor Hojo for conducting horrific experiments on children just to create a biological weapon and has called the two of them out on separate occasions for their lack of care and respect for what they've done. That said, Gaara finds pitying Albert Wesker to be impossible despite their similar upbringing as his ego reminds the former of Madara and his desire to eradicate most of humankind and lord over what's left of it as a god had Gaara affirm that he is beyond convincing. The same can also be applied for Sephiroth, though he's more impersonal about the matter and normally sees Gaara as an obstacle to fight against in his desire to appease JENOVA, unlike Wesker who is not above reminding Gaara of his past and trying to goad him into being the vicious killer that he once was, much to the Kazekage's discomfort.
  • His position as an important political and military leader in his world bought the attention of King Bradley of Amestris, who under the plans of Father was specifically converted into a Homonculus and grafted the Ultimate Eye for the purpose of leading Amestris publicly while Father acted from behind the scenes for his goal of becoming god. Bradley mused at the fact that Gaara was created to be a living weapon against his enemies, but also thinks he's being misguided at trying to apply wisdom and care to himself. Gaara was quick to call out Bradley, stating that he's just projecting his own nihilistic viewpoint on life towards him, something that's he's since outgrown and pities Bradley for being subservient to Father when he clearly has enough potential and qualities in his personal skills to be something more, something that Bradley either misses or refuses to acknowledge, resulting in the two leaders butting heads whenever they meet.
    • Speaking of leaders, Gaara initially had a more nuanced thought regarding Angela and Roland, who similarly lashed out against the world due to what they went through in their early years and led a life of vengeance, especially for Roland whose desire to avenge the death of his wife and unborn child even gave way to a new villain because of his actions. They would eventually move away from their counterproductive acts and try to be better people in general, which has proven to be a hard task for them. Gaara expressed heavy skepticism on Angela due to her more unscrupulous actions and objectives, though her desire to be human and feel like she had someone who cared for her softened the Kazekage's thoughts and he's open to try being a friend to her, not to mention that like him, she was formerly a Nice Girl and a benevolent secretary for the Lobotomy Corp's main branch. With Roland, Gaara would like to try getting him to be more optimistic, though he also knows that the grief of losing a family can be hard and thus is careful about that front. Regardless, Gaara does his best to be a friend o the two of them, in spite of their difficulties.
    • He doesn't get along with the Fourth Overlord. Oh sure, both had difficult upbringing and were ostracized in their youth, in addition to possessing tremendous power and giving off a creepy vibe in general, but beyond that, their aspirations and desires by the time they assumed leadership couldn't be any more different. Gaara's experience as the Fifth Kazekage meant that there was a lot of responsibilities to uphold on and generally has done the best he could to earn the respect of his people and beyond, in addition to being a hero one can rely on. The Fourth Overlord, on the other hand, accepted his position as, well, an Evil Overlord and thrives on spreading his evil, though as Gaara discovered to his surprise, the Overlord was not without his virtues and a twisted sense of honor. Gaara can respect the Fourth Overlord's affection for his mistress, Kelda, but that's as far as he can get, otherwise he ends up fighting against him a number of times, something the Overlord enjoys, provided he has a good challenge he can face off to affirm his feared reputation.
  • With many of his world's biggest threats being active once again in the Pantheon, Gaara remains wary of them, especially Madara, given just how strong and determined he is to quickly jump back into his desire for peace. That said, he's also aware that many of the enemies the Kazekage's known have since either reformed or have left behind their villainy, such as Nagato, Obito, and Sasori, but despite this, as well as Naruto being on generally amicable terms with the former, Gaara is still cautious of them, especially considering that Nagato, Obito, and Sasori were a part of the organization that had him killed. That said, Gaara doesn't consider them too much of a priority regarding threats, especially given that in addition to Madara, there have been more dire and personal opponents in the Pantheon for the Kazekage to contend with. With some encouragement from Naruto, Gaara has thought of an alliance with Nagato, Obito, and Sasori, but has affirmed that this is only happening if he has no other choice.

  • Max Eisenhardt is a man whose life, philosophy, ethics, and motivations were shaped by the The Holocaust and the tragedy that comes with being part of the opposed, hated, and devastated for circumstances out of his control. Once an innocent little boy, he was targeted by Nazi Germany simply because of his Jewish Family and he ended up being the only survivor, mainly due to his developing latent superpowers in manipulating electromagnetism. Even after World War II, his misfortune wouldn't end; Max's attempt in starting a family of his own was cut short when his daughter was killed by oppressors and his wife fled from him, events that would form the basis of his cynical outlook on the world and from his kind, Homo superior, better known as "mutants". Things would look up when he encountered a fellow mutant named Charles Xavier and the two became best friends, but their opposing means to achieve the goal of mutant acceptance and recognition caused Max to believe he and Xavier were never going to properly work together, not helped by their works being met with underwhelming results and unintended disdain from others. To that end, Max decided that mutants can never really coexist with humans peacefully and established his own order, the Brotherhood of Mutants, making sure that his organization consisted of like-minded mutants and supporters. From there, Max took on his infamous alias and moniker; Magneto, "Master of Magnetism" and sought to bring about mutant supremacy, honestly believing that it's for the best regarding his kind. While he would clash against Xavier's own organization, the X-Men on countless occasions due to their desire Xavier's desire for a more optimistic and hopeful outcome, Magneto never truly let go of his friendship with Professor X and has seen himself coming to an understanding on a number of occasions. Regardless of whether he's a villain to many, a hero to some, or a freedom fighter to few, Magneto remains determined and sees himself first and foremost as a survivor, fighting to never see the mutants go through what he went through as a child. Never Again.
  • Magneto was among the earliest of his kind to become aware of the Pantheon and one of its first deities, with the only known one to precede him in that category being Apocalypse. The Master of Magnetism was quickly intrigued by the idea of whole new worlds and realms, perhaps this meant that he could finally find one where he and his kind don't have to be condemned and discriminated against, which explains why he was excited upon ascension. Due to his reputation as an adversary, there were beings like Melkor who felt that he would make a good recruit in their legion of evil, but Max openly rejected whatever offers were given to him. He has no desire to work on evil impulses and he figured that doing such would compromise his relationship with Professor X and with his Brotherhood of Mutants, whom he bought along as his heralds. He also has no interest in the forces of good either, instead choosing to start a tertiary camp of wanting to provide a haven for mutants and similar beings in the Pantheon, though he's proven to be a Wild Card as well, with ideals and motives often coming to an alignment with heroes and villains depending on the situation. That said, Magneto enjoys his time in the Pantheon, helped by the fact that there are so many superpowered beings in the divine realms that he doesn't feel too out of place and discriminated against and that the number of normal people who didn't oppose him for his race was more than he expected. While less cynical in the Pantheon, Magneto does retain his ruthless pragmatism and a side of ferocity he would demonstrate if anyone dares to slight him and has made it clear that whoever opposes him will be slighted. As a result, he's polarizing to both heroes and villains alike, though thankfully he's not too much of a malicious being to be given too much attention, which helps Magneto's aim to create a Pantheonic settlement for mutants. That, and he's glad that his friend Charles is also an ascended being.
  • Magneto is among the strongest of his kind and his powers over magnetism isn't a one-trick-pony; he has control over the entire electromagnetic spectrum, which is to say he has far more abilities than you'd expect; flight, generating force fields, control blood and fashion it into something similar to iron, telepathy, turn himself invisible, and limited control over gravity in his direct vicinity. Add to his genius-level intellect and being incredibly creative about his powers and you'd understand why he has the title of the "Master of Magnetism". Despite his generally neutral stance, Magneto is one of the most feared beings in the Pantheon, not helped by his past actions as a supremacist, though he's never dipped into genocide territory despite coming close a few timesnote . While mainly concerned with his own goals, he does keep in check regarding any major activities and events going on in the Pantheon, making sure that he is prepared to fight for his people and cause and is willing to play the role of hero if it suits him. That's not to say he has a dismissive, even condescending view towards others, but Magneto's politeness and genuine intentions always manage for at least a strained partnership with anyone if they share a mutual foe. He may find difficulty in finding allies, but he'll settle with professional working relations as a way to keep himself updated and his clade of mutants secured without taking up headlines.
  • Magneto completely and utterly despises Nazis and anyone who dares to follow or support their cause and he's made no secret about his undying hatred towards them. Considering what he went through as a child, not even those who oppose Max for his own villainous actions could ignore why he became such a cynic in the first place. The fact that there's a Nazi movement in the Pantheon consisting of both participants back in WWII and Neo-Nazis and general enthusiasts who somehow admire Adolf Hitler made Magneto hellbent on storming their bases and obliterating them from the face of existence, opposition be damned. The few times he met the Red Skull, Max almost killed him, barely concealing how he hates him just as much as Captain America, and no, don't ever tell him how he and Johann Schmidt are similar in their desire to build a Master Race. He's also made a point to target another prominent Nazi, Wilheim "Deathshead" Strasse, and coordinate a set of attacks in an effort to kill him. Unfortunately, Deathshead anticipated Magneto and was able to escape via a decoy. This didn't stop Max, who has made it very clear that he will not stop until he personally sees Deathshead dead on his feet.
    • While generally distant from humankind, and was opposed to it before deciding to back off from his hatred and put more of his focus on providing a haven for mutants, Magneto is rather respectful of any soldiers who fought against the Nazis in World War II, such as both Second Battalions of East and Charlie Company, Richard Winters, Roland Spiers, Robert Zussman, Mike Powell, Jack Barnes, and Boyd Travers. He knows they're all human, but they did try to put an end to the persecution that was going on in the Holocaust and were kind and considerate to the Jews who were persecuted for their beliefs. On an extended note, he also appreciates Captain America, being the only superhero Magneto would admit to liking to a degree aside from Charles. After all, he did use a device that removes anti-mutant sentiments on Cap... and he remained unchanged, causing Magneto to surrender out of shame for being an oppressor. He still retains his respect for Cap in the Pantheon, though he's not really on good terms with the Avengers, even if he's making an effort to not antagonize them.
    • As a WWII survivor, he greatly sympathizes with Sophie Zawistowski, who also pities the mutant's tragic circumstances. That said, the two don't talk all that often, mainly because Sophie saw Magneto's relationship with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver as abusive and she could never accept his aims and goals, as well-intentioned as they seem. While he wishes that Sophie never had to make a choice between which of her children should be led to their death, he did pose a question that if she would have been willing to send them to a resistance force in an attempt to aid Jewish survivors, a question that she didn't answer because she likely would have said yes. On the other hand, he found Jojo Betzler rather amusing; he wanted to be a Nazi and conjured an imaginary Hitler to be his friend and teacher, but soon realized that he was too good-hearted and conflicted to really be indoctrinated and eventually forsake any attempt at being a Nazi, especially after his mother was hanged for conspiracy and a Jewish girl named Elsa Korr eventually befriended and pointed out that he didn't have the makings of a Nazi. Magneto found the boy to be a bit charming in his own precocious way and wishes him luck for a good future as it was something he wished he had when WWII ended, but beyond that, the two don't really talk with one another as Jojo would likely keep his distant from Max due to his feared reputation.
    • While he has little to say regarding the Homunculi, he does pay special attention to King Bradley. There is a problem in that Bradley happens to be a popular and beloved figure in his home country of Amestris, but the fact that he was given the Führer ticks the mutant off and got a little suspicious. As a result, Magneto is one of the few who knows that Bradley is the Homunculus, Wrath, and not only does he serve a Humanoid Abomination who obsessively desires to become God, but was also a figurehead in the Ishvalan Civil War where he oversaw the Ishvalans becoming subject to ethnic cleansing. With this information, Magneto confronted Bradley, where the latter noted that the former was a wrathful man, much like himself, but chides him for trying to see himself as "godlike" for mutants, calling his attempts a "pompous, childish act to make himself feel better". As much as Magneto wanted to kill Bradley, he realized that he would become a public enemy to Amestris and instead called him out for being a tyrant whose not exactly as good as the country makes him out to be, but Bradley kept his composure and coldly stated that what Magneto did during his villain days aren't so different from a tyrant. Despite his buttons being pressed, Max kept his composure and said that he will expose Bradley as the criminal he is. Magneto knows he can kill him easily, but he can play the long game if he so desires. On the other hand, Scar, one of the Ishvalan survivors who decided to use alchemy to fight back his aggressors managed ti earn the mutant's respect and while the two hardly ever speak, if mainly because of Scar's wariness towards him, Max is content on letting his story in the Pantheon unfold.
    • While they are not Nazis, Magneto came to dislike the Imperium of Man greatly because their attempts at defending Earth were driven out of fear and revulsion towards anything that was extraterrestrial and then this extended towards the idea of mutants who developed psychic powers and were treated as bad omens as they were considered an attraction for the Forces of Chaos to come to invade their worlds. Even with other mutants such as Ogryns, Rattlings, and Navigators being accepted for militaristic purposes, Magneto wasn't fazed and criticized the Imperium for treating their mutants like trash at best and executing them like witches at worst as well as insulting them for being bad examples for upholding humanity. The Imperium, learning of Max's past, retorted that he's not one to be claiming this, considering his own attempt at subjugating humans for mutant dominance and even treating his own minions poorly, not to mention what Magneto has gone through is tame compared to the countless hordes of daemon and extraterrestrial invasions and internal strifes and betrayals they've endured and that they're fighting to prevent their world and potentially the universe from being destroyed. Magneto was pissed to hear that, thinking the Imperium is undermining the tragedies of the Holocaust and furthering his disdain for them. As a result, both parties can barely see one another, let alone cooperate, even if they end up having a mutual for to attend to.
  • While he is intrigued by the fact that there are races in the Pantheon similar to the mutants of his world, Magneto affirms that they are his biggest priority and champions them above everything else and generally doesn't put too much involvement in other superpowered beings, which is something his friend Charles tends to partake in more actively. That said, Max does take interest in a couple of beings if their tale, powers, and circumstances pique his curiosity enough. Two such figures were the inheritors of One for All, Toshinori Yagi and Izuku Midoriya, who used their powers to inspire hope and be renowned heroes. He had a rather awkward encounter with the two, with Midoriya being rather cautious given Magneto's history as a villain and supremacist, but the latter was able to remain civil and polite with his new guests, offering to talk to All Might about the philosophies of strength, survival, and determination. Surprisingly, their conversation was affable and both parties agreed on the makings of a good leader and drive to fight for others, but All Might affirmed that he fights for the happiness and joy of others and Midoriya followed that he wants to help others see the best in themselves and he wants to provide a source of hope like his predecessors. Nice makings of a hero, sure, but Magneto declared that heroism and villainy didn't matter; what was most important to him was the survival and prosperity of mutants, but he did respect his guests before he took off. While uncertain and wary, All Might admits that he does genuinely desire a better world and can agree with that, though his methods are something he would disagree on.
    • Sometime later, All Might and Midoriya became friends with Professor X and the latter was eager to establish working relations between mutants and quirk possessors in an effort to further his desire where mutants can live peacefully. Magneto caught wind of this and approached the U.A's flagship heroes again. In private, Max told them that he did some research and revealed that he knows about their past, how they got their powers, and the source of One for All's powers, but holds no interest in the power. Midoriya also told Magneto that he and All Might know of his history with Charles and guessed that this is a reason why he tends to be friendly with them despite their differences in belief, which Magneto admitted as despite their opposition, he values his friendship with Charles and would respect whatever decision he makes. He told Midoriya that he has the guts for sticking up to his ideals in spite of being quirkless before his encounter with All Might and his determination would be something any mutant leader would want. Midoriya responded with an awkward thanks, but he said that he wishes Magneto was a hero like his friend, something that he found difficult to answer. They're still not allies, but the two wielders of One for All do try to keep in contact with the mutant and while they have different thoughts on how to protect the world, they do sympathize with Magneto's past while he himself admits to Charles that he respects the two heroes a bit, if mainly because they remind him of his friend, to Charles's amusement and delight.
  • Not everyone is subject to being approached by Magneto in the hopes of the mutant wanting to express and fulfill his curiosity. At one point, he himself was approached, on this occasion, by a man named Asimov, who led a team called QUILL to defeat the Sumeragi Group, an organization that targeted beings with special psychic powers known as Adepts and subjected them to torture and unethical experimentation in their attempt to cow and force them into their servitude and use their power to hold world dominance. That would be fine, had it not been for the fact that Asimov, an Adept himself, actually wanted to spearhead Adept dominance over the world and destroy mankind in the process. Magneto noted the similarities but also figured that Asimov was more blunt and irate about his intentions, seeing as he would kill his closest collaborator, Gunvolt when he refused to accept his true desires. As Asimov wanted to strike an alliance, Magneto appeared to accept, if mainly because their goals do align to a degree and Asimov respects his command and power, but the mutant does have his issues with the Adept and that killing all humans is not going to benefit him in the long run, not to mention genocide doesn't really sit well him. Finally, in the event that Asimov becomes Demezel, Magneto is quick to cut all ties with him and come to an opposition; he can manage Asimov due to his marksmanship and leadership skills, but someone too drunk on his power and espousing delusions of godhood is not a good alliance and a detriment, not to mention how Demezel would want Magneto to bend his knee towards him, something that he scathes with disgust.
  • No stranger to the DC Universe and intrigued by its many races including metahumans and Atlantans, Magneto has met with Barry Allen and Arthur Curry and he expressed respect for their powers and asserting some authority in wanting to uphold the positive standards of their race. Barry and Arthur were hesitant in accepting thanks but knew better than to trifle against someone who was declared an Omega-level mutant and went along with it. While both are wary of Magneto, Barry does express his sympathies for what he's gone through and can understand the loss of family, given that his own mother's death was an event that haunted him, and is happy to see that Magneto does try to protect the world, even if he's unscrupulous about it. Arthur is a bit more complicated and Magneto admits that Aquaman reminds him of Namor, except the King of Atlantis is easier to get along with. Arthur can get behind his attempts in defending Earth, though his supremacist side does remind the Atlantean of his brother Orm who tends to have severe sibling issues with him most of the time. Finally, there are Superman and Supergirl, who do share and empathize with Magneto's plights, but also criticize him for his cynicism and occasional tics of racial supremacy. Magneto personally sees the Kryptonians as a loose ally; he and Kara have their disagreements and he can respect her strength, but even he admits that Kal-El is as good as everyone says, sometimes comparing him to his friend Charles regarding their compassion. Still, the mutant would rather keep a professional relationship with the Kryptonians than an antagonistic one regardless of their uneasy thoughts for one another. After all, they have a similar goal and he knows that many of his enemies are also shared with most heroes.
    • If Magneto is a mutant supremacist, then Gorilla Grodd qualifies as a gorilla supremacist, but unlike the former, he's a lot more open about his hatred towards mankind and seeks to either drive them to extinction or bend their minds to his will, so that he could take over Earth for himself. The fact that Grodd has similar psychic powers as Professor X did tick Magneto off and the two quickly ended up hating each other upon their first encounter; Magneto is disgusted by Grodd's hatred, attempts at genocide, and clearly not giving a damn about anybody so long as they are useful tools to his goals while the metagorilla not only sees Magneto as another "human", but that he's no different from the oppressive tyrants that he's come to despise, which further infuriated Max, who affirmed that he's put those days back and is trying to do better, but is not above killing anyone he sees as a threat, which he registered Grodd as. So it came as no surprise that the two have bitterly fought against one another in the Pantheon with no end until the corpse of one of them is pinned down by another's feet.
  • Learning about conduits, Magneto personally decided to meet with Delsin Rowe, interested in knowing about how the young man went from being a small-time criminal to the man who would free conduits from persecution and dismantle the oppressive authority held against them by the DUP and Brooke Augustine. Delsin was rather chatty, often referring to Max as "magnet-man" while Magneto kept his composure and decided to fight Delsin as his way of assessing his ability. They had a massive battle that nearly destroyed a coastal outpost, with the match drawing after Magneto forfeited. He apologized to Delsin for nearly killing him once he noticed the man's annoyance, but then praised his powers and determination, feeling that he would make a good leader. Whether a true hero or infamous, Delsin was a being who had the full makings to lead his kind as far as Magneto felt, but would rather speak to him if he was a hero as at least they could to each other and cooperate in spite of their differences. Sure a villainous Delsin would be closer to what Magneto is, but the mutant is disdainful of the idea of having to deal with a snobbish, arrogant, and reckless Delsin who uses his powers for his selfishness and be willing to kill his own tribe upon being disowned, which Magneto felt was distasteful.
  • While he's not exactly known for being compassionate, with that attribute being more associated with Charles, Max is capable of expressing sympathy, respect, and regret. It's one of the reasons he was able to attract a crowd of mutants into his services after all, though he'd rather not call it a "Brotherhood of Evil Mutants" as he did before, much to his embarrassment. This is how he felt towards Killer Croc and Carrie White, who were ostracized due to their appearances and power and he wasn't surprised why they became vengeful once they took one abuse too many. That said, he has trouble approaching Killer Croc as he would rather want to defend the homeless, orphans, and slum residents, even if Croc himself would rather know his limits than challenge the Master of Magnetism. Carrie is currently being cared for by Professor X, so Max has an easier time talking to her and relating to her anger and anguish. This actually helped Carrie as thanks to both Charles and Max, she's become more emotionally stable and she keeps a friendly face whenever she's talking to the two mutants. While Magneto is happy to look after Carrie in Charles's stead, he does keep a watchful eye over her and admits that he will kill Carrie if she ever goes berserk with her powers again, though he also notes that he would hate to do the deed.
  • Unsurprisingly, he's aware that there are mutants who are different from Homo superior and because that apparently happens to be a trending topic in the Pantheon, he decided to discuss that matter. Firstly, his encounter with Kipo Oak was awkward, to say the least. Sure she got along with Charles, but she was initially intimidated by Magneto due to his supervillain phase in the past and for "looking scary" much to his annoyance. He sees her as a female version of his own friend, being a peacekeeper for "mutes" and humans, though she doesn't have much in the way of leadership, which Charles excels at. Still, Kipo recognizes Magneto's tragic past but doesn't see that as an excuse for his villainy, even if the man himself has seen himself becoming more of a protector to Earth, if mainly for his kind, and would rather see him repent and properly become a hero, something that Magneto scoffs at because to him, hero and villain is a relative term and he identifies himself as a survivor first. Wesley Collins, the Red Time Force Ranger, was a bit more sympathetic with him, considering he fought against a villainous mutant, Ransik, prior to his own ascension and the similarities between him and Magneto regarding persecution and cynicism didn't go unnoticed for the Power Ranger. Magneto wonders if Wes could become a peacekeeper for mutants and humans as Kipo does, given he's supposed to be the leader of a team of heroes. Wes admits that he would like to help Magneto if Ransik was able to achieve redemption, but does worry about Max potentially relapsing back to villainy. For now, the two share a difficult relationship, with Magneto personally just tolerating him while Wes hopes the mutant can continue proving himself a better man than he was in the past.
  • He wasn't surprised to learn that Charles was open to allowing superpowered beings outside his universe from being mentored by him, figuring that as a man who wanted to spread unity and trust, he would be curious to learn what figures the Pantheon offered. Among those was a quintet group of students from Hoshinoumi Academy who gained their powers through a coincidence of a comet named Charlotte and going through puberty as well as losing them by adulthood. Magneto figured that the teens were adept at using their powers, though were sometimes reckless and impulsive in their usage most of the time, in addition to pitying them for the troubles they've been through because of their powers. While the idea of absorbing everyone's powers could make a formidable superhuman, he understands why Yuu Otosaka decided to absorb the powers of every teen he came across until he reached adulthood and lost them to ensure none of them would be hunted by government agents. Group 1 was a more complicated group, seeing as they possessed great psychic powers, though at the cost of being restrained to not harm anyone of the same species unless the limiter backfires on the user and kills them. He takes some urgency in looking after them, considering the mental and emotional trauma they've been through about the state of the world they lived in, their powers, and how warped society became in an effort to hide their dark secrets. As a result, he trusts Charles in taking care of them., but doesn't mind keeping a close eye either in the event Charles is unavailable.
  • In one of his more successful moments, he and Charles were able to establish a haven on an island called Krakoa, which was populated by mutants, and it proved successful enough that even Apocalypse was impressed with the direction this was going and took to becoming a member of the Quiet Council. While he remains ruthless and pragmatic for the sake of his race, Magneto did improve his reputation to some degree with most mutants. That said, one of his attempts in keeping the Krakoans thriving was the colonize the planet Mars and rechristen it as Arakko. This proved to be a controversial direction for those who considered Mars a sacred place for them and a home. Some aliens who lived there were too antagonistic to be reasoned with, so Magneto fighting and killing them wasn't much of an issue, but others like Marvin and John Carter were obviously not comfortable with was Magneto was planning and told him that they weren't for it, with Marvin attempting to attack the mutant, which went about as well as anyone expected. Rei Hino and J'onn J'onnz took it upon themselves to meet Max and try to peacefully negotiate matters, even appealing to his more noble and sympathetic qualities. Magneto stated that he gets their concerns, but ultimately his race's survival and prosperity are what matters most. Sailor Mars and Martian Manhunter were worried about this as they fear that mutants could overtake the planet and potentially ruin the planet's ecosystem, but they don't want to fight Max either as they know it would make things worse and are still trying and planning for alternate options to get Magneto to rethink what should be done.
  • Apparently, he was friends with Paul McCartney of all people, something that Magneto was confused by and once decided to get down on what was it that surrounded this phenomenon. As it turns out, there was a song called Magneto and Titanium Man written by Paul, who happened to be a fan of comic books and Magneto as a fictional comic character. The song chronicles how Magneto, despite his friendship with McCartney tagged along with Titanium Man and Crimson Dynamo to spread lies about Paul's girlfriend being a criminal when she was actually an honest and fair cop. Now with both figures being in the Pantheon, Magneto wondered what exactly was he going to get out of tricking Paul into believing in his lies, but then again, he came from a world where Magneto was a fictional character classified as a supervillain, although a sympathetic one for the most part and was one of popular media's most celebrated antagonists. Still, Magneto does enjoy some form of art and respects Paul's work as a solo artist and as a member of The Beatles, but affirmed that the song about him was rather awkward to think about.
  • Yes, he's aware of alternate versions of himself from several universes. He's embarrassed by the fact that he was defeated by the Fantastic Four via a wooden gun and would certainly like to remind others not to bring this up near him, especially if this happens to be Reed Richards. Also, he disdains his Earth-1610 version as he's gone past being a mutant supremacist and desiring to destroy all non-mutant life in his aim for dominance. It doesn't help that, as a Canadian, Ultimate Magneto doesn't have the experience of being a tortured victim of the Holocaust as a driving motivation for why he wants to help his kind and is more akin to just a despot who just wants power. The Magneto of Earth-295 was the most interesting to him because his friend died in an attack meant for him, Charles, in his dying breath, entrusted the X-Men's leadership to Magneto and this drove him to become a hero and seek a way to bring peace and unity to humans and mutants, even when Apocalypse bought the world to a dystopic hellhole. Magneto notes that his Earth-295 version would likely have been delighted to meet with the Charles of Earth-616, but given that his friend is too busy in the Pantheon, Max has decided to define himself properly in the divine realms and not be a statistic regarding his multiple counterparts. If mutants can thrive in the Pantheon, then he'll fight for his cause until he either does or sees it fulfilled.

  • Palossand is a curious Ghost-type Pokemon. The evolved form of Sandyghast, each grain of sand has a life of its own. This sand collective shapes itself as an impressively large sandcastle, averaging 4 feet 3 inches, but some can get truly colossal. It can control adults to get it more sand so it can become bigger, or replace what is lost. The shovel serves as a sensoring radar.
  • Though seeming harmless, the Sand Castle Pokemon is carnivorous and has small Pokemon who live in it get their vitality drained. It has the bones of its prey buried underneath the castle. Despite this, it is simply trying to feed and finds how Jadis turns living people into frozen statues for no reason other than her twisted amusement to be cruel. That, and it's vulnerable to ice.
  • Competes for food with the Sarlacc and the Blob. The former lives in a sandy desert as a trap for prey, and the latter shares a weakness to Ice. The Blob is considered the more dangerous as Palossand hasn't eaten people. The Sarlacc is also considered more dangerous, but Palossand disagrees since he can move more. Well, sort of.
  • As living sand, Palossand found himself attracted to various other Sentient Sands in its new house. As Sandy is the official representative of Sentient Sands and has a passive temperament, the Pokemon thought it'd be for the best to serve under Sandy. He also had more authority compared to the other sandy beings, in Palossand's opinion.
  • While William Baker is a crook, he's a noble enough cad that Palossand likes him. After all, Palossand has a sinister side. However Crocodile is too cruel in Palossand's eyes, though it's mainly under the influence of his partner since Palossand is pretty neutral to most things.
  • Gravitates to Tyranitar and Crixalis. Their sandstorms boost Palossand's power, possibly beyond what's normal for Ground types considering the Pokemon's composition. Gaara also helps with that, and Toph Bei Fong's power over earth can serve as a boon to Palossand.
  • Was interested in Odibatorasu. The Cannon Rock Wyvern is responsible for shaping an entire desert to the way it is now, and continues to do so with its abilities to fend off anyone it so much as sees in its territory. While this sand was a boon to the Pokemon's power, the territorial behavior of Odibatorasu had him find Palossand annoying and keeps trying to blow him away.
  • Anakin Skywalker hates Palossand, given his thoughts on sand; it's rough, course and gets anywhere. Also, a being with consciousness in every grain of sand would wreak havoc on Vader's respirator. Lilo and Stitch were much more amicable, since they live in Hawaii(which Alola is based off) and likes beaches.
  • Sometimes he lets Emmet Brickowski play in him without risk of being eaten, since as a LEGO mini-fig even a small Palossand is impressive, and the Pokemon likes hid skill at building. Despite his weakness to Water type moves, the Water Compaction ability boosts defense if hit by the moves so he doesn't mind the House of Water and Moisture. Plus sandcastles live near the sea anyway.
  • Due to the Pokemon's residence on beaches, Palossand doesn't like polluters and he wasn't happy to learn about Hexxus. The Pokemon appreciates the Lorax for his environmental messages. Palossand has a position in the House of Ghosts given he's a haunted (sand)castle, but otherwise isn't interested in them since the Pokemon's most powerful with sand readily available.
