Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

[up][up] For Meridia, it's probably both. I added that bit to the text that refers to Galakrond just after Nekron and Nagash.

Meridia and her radiance is back. A new day is dawning. Decided to go with the fanart.

A new hand touches the folder. Listen. Hear me and obey! A foul darkness has seeped into the Pantheon. A darkness you will destroy.

  • Today was quiet one with the air a still and frigid chill even with the sun in the middle of the sky. Yet all would not be quite well for long on this fine, fine day. It was at this time the GUAE had secretly set up a large encampment somewhere off in the House of Nature. A dispatch team from the GUAG eventually got word and were sent to scout out such a place, though they could never of anticipated what happens next. Beings and creatures like the Terraformars and "Hunter" Series BOWs have suddenly appeared out of the blue to assault the place, yet something is off about them. They aren't hostile to them and made way to the encampment, seemingly driven by an unknown single-minded purpose through it all. Patches of their bodies glow a golden hue, their eyes an amber yellow, their clustered veins now opaque by it all. Accompanying them are figures covered head to toe in golden armor, some utilizing powers of electricity and the spectra of light itself. As these mysterious forces drove out the GUAE in numberless hordes the base was soon assaulted by lightning from the sky before soon being buried by roots.
    • The team bore witness to the entire thing, even as the forces disappeared quick as they came, and were left speechless. Soon after trying to process what just happened a voice from above spoke to them. The voice revealed herself as the Daedric Prince, Meridia, and admitted responsibility to the base's annihilation as well as tipping the GUAG off of such a movement. "But for what purpose?" They asked, and Meridia responded that it was a way to reveal herself. She cited that they intended to practice actions most profane on the House and opted to stop their defilement. The GUAG's presence here serve as additional witnesses to her entrance to the Pantheon, which they were. The same also goes for them seeing the sheer collateral damage wrought by her attack.
  • An unusual member among the many Daedric Princes, Meridia did not actually start out as one herself. Once, there was a time in which she was better known as Merid-Nunda, a Magne-Ge or Star-Orphan. As a Child of Magnus she joined with him in fleeing from partaking in the creation of Nirn to Aetherius when he realized the sheer cost of such a project. Merid-Nunda, however, would at some point be cast out from Aetherius for consulting with "illicit spectra" and when the Daedra chided her for trespassing in Oblivion she willed a realm of her own thus and out of necessity she took on the mantle of Daedric Prince for herself. This once-Mange-Ge would be now from then on as Meridia, and the mortal races of Nirn will know of her light. The Pantheon, too, will bear witness the same having ascended under the domain of What Is One Man's Life In Comparison?, of which she is a thoroughly believer in. If people, even including her own loyal followers, have to perish to achieve what she views as a greater good then so be it.
  • If there's one fact that's very well known about Meridia would be her absolute hatred of undeath itself. Be it from the dead that walk once more to those who actively practice in such a thing Meridia will see to it that they be destroyed. It is why she is one of Molag Bal's Arch Enemies as the Lord of Brutality was responsible for the conception of undeath itself, among many other things. This belief of hers persists in the Pantheon, declaring herself to any of the undead and necromancers present and vowing to see the House of Undead be obliterated someday. Theories arose in that the House's existence may of drawn Meridia to the Pantheon in the first place. There stands two individuals at the pinnacle of such animosity, Nekron and Nagash, for not only their actions in their home universes but also the ones done to spite her. Galakrond is also quite high on that list, being a dragon returned to the living and who's sheer gluttony has him devour just about anything, his victims themselves turning into undead. A force of nature, so to speak. The tipping point came when after when in one of his rampages he demolished an entire temple dedicated to her. Meridia, very calmly, assaulted him with a Pillar of Light aimed straight at the Ur-Dragon's eyes. She only ceased when other Overdeities stepped in to drive him off and stop her wrath, concerned that she'll take out her anger on the surroundings as well and escalating the damages.
The undead are foul, unnatural things. Some of my rivals take pleasure in these abominations. Not Meridia. I wish these creatures destroyed.
    • We could not stress the absolute part of her hatred towards undead enough. Meridia is indiscriminate in her drive to wipe them off the face of the world itself. It matters not if they aren't evil or have done a lot of good things in the end like with Talion or Squigly nor does it matter if they are only partially so like if they are a Dhampyr. She even scoffs at the existence of The Guardians, viewing them as mere puppets brought from their tombs by their so-called light.
    • It also comes as a given that she is a fierce opponent to the entire House of Darkness and Shadow along with any deity associated with the shade. As far as Meridia is concerned, the "good" ones are too afraid to walk with her in the light.
  • Her hatred of the unliving, along with her divinely depictions and presence and acting as the Big Good during Molag Bal's Planemeld often leads to attributions that she is a "benevolent" Daedric Prince by many. This is a very big mistake and you should not mistake her actions or her words as genuine altruism. What good she does is simply a consequence of her self-interests. This is the same Daedric Prince who had zero problems supporting her Ayleid followers, a race who were notorious for their cruelty to humanity of which they enslaved. The most notable of her assistance to them would be the time she gave help to Umaril the Unfeathered, saving his life where upon he would come back to try and overthrow the Nine Divines in revenge for the Wild Elves' downfall. To say nothing of her tendency to manipulate people and sacrifice them and her tendencies to inflict Disproportionate Retribution if displeased or crossed. Both Cosmos and Meridia have since been common opponents of one another.
    • It for this reason that, after the GUAG reported Meridia's entrance in the Pantheon, Cosmos and by extension many in the GUAG would rather not associate themselves with the Lady of Infinite Energies and as such frequently butt heads with eachother should the situation allow them to cross paths. Cosmos and the Alliance are firmly for prioritizing all life whereas Meridia would only look out for the select few. And the few are perfectly liable to be culled if she deems it necessary in some way, shape, or form. Both Cosmos and Meridia have since been common opponents of one another.
  • In a bid to gather up allies to counter the ones Molag Bal had formed in the Pantheon alongside other entities and beings she deemed despicable, Meridia had manifested her to other entities in a bid to form an alliance of her own. Her first outing was... not quite successful, to say the least. While she had seen success in enticing Galeem after appealing to his perpetual conflict with Dharkon and sympathizing with it, her meeting YHVH went considerably less well. The two ended up being bothered by each-other more than anything else in the end. The Light of Destruction, due to its desire for the destruction of all things, was more so that and the relationship with it was even more strained with Meridia stating it's as simple-minded as Mehrunes Dagon. They're on somewhat better terms when it's seeking to be worshiped as a deity though not by much. And The Radiance immediately began on bad terms as she is paranoid that Meridia's presence is yet another way in which she will eventually be eclipsed and forgotten. Not helping things was the Glister Witch's response to that which to this day has stuck with the infection that once plagued Hallownest:
Save yourself your delusions. A campfire could never hope to outshine a star, much less the break of dawn.
    • Her presence was not well received in the House of Light and Brightness received either. Setting aside her willingness to ally with the Light of Destruction, just about everyone in that House were put off by Meridia's demeanor and though Ezalor, being the head of the sub-House itself, does try to keep her at bay it is undeniable she has a stake there due to her domains. Not helping things is her singling out Zs'Skayr, viewing him as an intruder, and Necrozma's, whom she expressed disgust towards its exploitation in the past by humanity and has continuously offered to her service to restore it to its glory days. Zs'Skayr both hates and is scared shitless by her while Necrozma is visibly disturbed by her, especially after its Heel–Face Turn.
    • Lumine, surprisingly, came up to her to offer an alliance. Emphasizing his similar associations with light and associations with angels Meridia deemed him worthy of an ally. It can be assumed Lumine did so to gain not only a very powerful ally but also Aurorans at his command to further his goals of both enslaving and/or destroying the older gen Reploids and other inferior robots. Serving Meridia for such benefits in no way really goes against such wishes.
  • As a being heavily associated with light and its spectra it would only come natural that the realm she carved from the chaos of the Void would reflect that. The Colored Rooms are a place of coral reefs and floating rock underneath a starry night sky, the floor holding it all together being the realm's solid luminescent waters. Aurorans roam the place. Mankar Camoran, the leader of the Mythic Dawn cult, once incorrectly attributed in his speech that Meridia's realm was that of the ever-dour and bleak Coldharbour... The realm of Molag Bal, her fiercest enemy. Suffice it to say, don't try to play off this piece of misinformation as fact. It's not as bad as messing with her shrines, but don't test your luck.
  • Has had a few notable relationships about two members of the Angiris Council, or in the case of Imperius and Malthael one member and one former member, respectively. In the case of the latter it is quite easy to boil down the relationship between the two as mutual opposition despite both being Fallen Angels. For Malthael it involves his status as the Archangel of Death versus her associations with life energies and thus partially styles herself and partially depicted as a Friend to All Living Things (as much as that is put into debate countless times), so it would only come as natural that they'd clash. His motivations to Kill All Humans has also dampened the situation between the two given there are humans who do worship her.
    • Imperius is a more complicated matter, however. Though both Meridia and Imperius work to maintain their ideal visions order, are cordial should it stay that way, and are willing to go through extreme lengths be it the Glister Witch working through her agents, manipulation, and sacrifices while Archangel of Valor while without hesitation be in the thick of it, they actually tend to clash quite a lot. While there's Meridia's nature as a Daedra, though connect demon to Daedroth is pretty loose, there's the difference in attitude. The Archangel is, at his core, utterly uptight and arrogant. Meanwhile Meridia, for as much as she is very manipulative and narcissistic, is comparatively less strict and is able to be nice and is able sincerely reward those who serve her well.
  • She has a few artifact to her name as a Daedric Prince with her most famous Daedric artifact being Dawnbreaker, a golden ebony sword forged in holy light. With the ever-radiant Dawnstar Gem in its crossguard it is a weapon tailed to destroy the walking dead, burning them upon contact and even reportedly causing them to explode upon death. Simply put, it is their bane though there have been accounts of it also being effective against werewolves and even Daedra themselves. It is not an infallible weapon of divine judgement, however. Through the machinations of the Daedric Prince, Nocturnal, it had one point been corrupted into a sword known as Duskbringer though it would soon be restored to its original form through the sacrifice of her champion, Darien Gautier. There are some who seek to return the blade to Duskbringer once more though Meridia has made it clear that anyone who attempts so will get suffer for their troubles.
    • While it's not as well known she is also associated with the Ring of Khajiit, an artifact that grants its wearer silence in movement, enhanced speed, and even invisibility. It was once stolen by Rajhin, a famous Khajiit thief, who used such a ring to pull off grand heists and earned his infamy that persists even today. Eventually, his overuse of its powers made the artifact abandon him to his doom. now, the ring is an odd artifact to Meridia name, however, in that it is also the property of the Daedric Prince, Mephala, and it seems fitting to her considering her associations with lies and secrets. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that they're the only Daedric Princes who's spheres are obscured to mortal eyes? Who knows.
    • During the events of Skyrim's civil war and the return of the dragons a necromancer defiled a temple in the providence, exploiting the lives lost to raise them as shades. Thus, the Prince sent out the Beacon of Meridia in an undisclosed location for an adventurer to find and be prompted to expel said necromancer, of which The Dragonborn accomplished and was granted Dawnbreaker. Others who stumble upon her Beacon are apprehensive at touching it, mainly so for the fact that they know that the moment they do so they'll be assaulted by the Daedric Prince's lack of indoor voice.
  • Few individuals in the Pantheon could earn a special kind of enmity from Meridia. Included in this particular list is The Ancestor, who's actions brought ruin to not only to his family and blood but also the world around him. Necromancy, demon summoning which then created the Swinefolk and Formless Flesh, an old colleague's witchery, deals with the Pelagic, and calling upon the cosmos' unholiness are all damning evidence. To Meridia, the Darkest Estate and its surrounding lands corruption in the air and earth itself are waiting to be burned by her light. With the existence of the Darkest Dungeon and by extension the presence of the Heart of Darkness is it any wonder why she hates the place so much? And that's not even going over the Heart's rival, The Sleeper, which awaits it as soon as it breaks free from its comet prison.
  • If a partially surviving Ayleid manuscript is anything to go by, Meridia has the ability to alter the rate at which time flows forward through the prismatic refraction of light. This piece of information has alarmed many deities in the House of Time And Space, in particular setting the Dahaka in motion to watch Meridia's actions. Meanwhile, Cetrion caught wind of the claim and came to Meridia seeking an alliance on Kronika's behalf. Meridia bluntly refused, being unable to tolerate Cetrion and Kronika's familial connection to Shinnok, nor does she have any desire for the supposed balance Kronika seeks. For the Prince's part, she believes the Hourglass is belonging for more fitting hands in the end.
The light of Meridia cleanses and purifies. There is nothing to fear from its brilliant embrace.

So from what I just heard, I have to put Sam and Guy's profile from Green Eggs and Ham on hold because season 2 is dropping off in April. Once we figure out what happens there, then I should have a better profile. In the meantime, Bazzard's holding onto it.

And for now, how's this for Wirt and Greg. It's gonna be a bit basic draft right now because for a 10 episode mini-series, there's a lot of ground to cover.

Wirt and Greg, Deities of Perils of Entering the Woods (Wirt: Pilgrim, The Young Lover, Greg: Gregory)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/e1578be3-3a5d-4d5f-bdf5-b24075231392_zps55c7c89e_8293.jpg
  • Potential House: Plants (Trees and Flowers Sub-House)
  • Quasideities
  • Symbol: A mixtape labeled "For Sarah" (Wirt) and a Frog (Greg)
  • Song: "Into the Unknown" or "Adelaide Parade" (both of them), "Potatoes and Molasses" (Greg only)
  • Neutral Good (Both of them although Wirt has shades of True Neutral)
  • Portfolio:
  • Domains: Siblings, Fairy-tales, Death (possibly), the Unknown, Woods
  • Herald: Beatrice
  • Allies
  • Enemies:
  • Conflicting Opinion: Seto Kaiba, (Wirt only)
  • Avoids: The Highwayman
  • Not to be confused with: Greg Universe (Greg only)
  • Wirt and Greg are two brothers who somehow ended up in a dark forest that lead to the place called The Unknown. There, they befriended a bluebird named Beatrice who could help guide them home. Their journey was filled with all types of peril and strange and unusual creatures while in the real world they had drowned in a lake and were in the midsts of dying. Thankfully the two made it out in the end, much wiser than when they left with Greg showing off more maturity and Wirt finally learning to confront his fears instead of running away from them.
  • The two of them were walking in the woods with Greg singing "Potatoes and Molasses" before Wirt wondered where they were and if they were in the Unknown again. The voices and the lights calling out to them didn't help and Wirt quickly grabbed Greg and rushed off into the nearest house they could find...which happened to be the cottage that belonged to Fluttershy. Massive screams could be heard between Fluttershy and Wirt before there was banging at the front door. Despite being told not to, Greg went ahead and opened it...and it was revealed that the gods chasing after them were Pinkie Pie, Gentaro and Elena, the founding members of the Avatars of Friendship. It turns out Wirt and Greg somehow stumbled into the House of Nature when they were supposed to be at the House of Plants for their ascension ceremony. Wirt just took a good look at all of them...and fainted on the spot.
    • After Wirt woke up, he and Greg made it to the Halls of the Pantheon where they were granted a temple on the Don't Go Into the Woods because their adventure had them falling into the Unknown — characterized by its trees and spooky nature — and were settled into their temple. It looks like one of the cottages found in the Unknown around lush forests in an eternal autumn. Wirt questions why it's not based on his and Greg's house but decided to not argue with it.
  • The Unknown made Wirt and Greg encounter various creatures, many of them being a reference point to the stuff that the Pantheon contains.
    • Wirt is wary of all skeletal gods due to his encounter with the "residents" of Pottsfield being skeletons in pumpkin outfits. Papyrus is one of the first ones that Wirt is friendly to, as it helps that Papyrus and Sans' relationship is similar to Wirt and Greg's.
      • Jack Skellington is another skeleton that Wirt has become friendly with, but was quite confused with Skellington's moniker "The Pumpkin King" since he doesn't wear pumpkin outfits like those in Pottsfield. Jack Skellington, in the meantime, is now preparing to dress up as Enoch (mayor of Pottsfield) and having a Halloween theme party based on the tales of the Unknown.
    • Fred the talking horse made it easier for Wirt and Greg to become accustomed to the Equestrian gods. Pinkie Pie's energy goes along well with Greg while Wirt likes to study alongside Twilight Sparkle.
    • Wirt learned that there was Highwayman god and wondered if said Highwayman had a song like this. Upon hearing about it, The Highwayman could only chuckle at the ditty and began singing it as he made his rounds.
"I'll knock you down, drag you off the road. Steel your shoes from off your feet. Oh, I'm the highway man gonna make ends meet...."
    • The Wicked Witch of the West reminded Wirt too much of Adelaide, "The Good Woman of the Woods" seeing as Adelaide was actually working for The Beast. He does find it strange that a witch like her was weak to water, but then again Adelaide didn't like cold night air so who's he to complain?
  • Various gods are wondering just what the Unknown is, with the closest that it can be is Purgatory. Others wonder how Wirt and Greg even entered the Unknown or whether or not it was a Dying Dream. The only evidence that suggests that what Wirt and Greg went through was real is that Greg's frog sometimes glows (For swallowing the bell Auntie Whispers used to control the demon possessing Lorna) and that both Wirt and Greg were immediately able to state the correct name for said frog (Jason Funderberger). Wirt himself doesn't know and doesn't care at the moment; right now, he's just trying his best to confront his awkwardness.
    • Various gods have learned that someone has written comics about the adventures Wirt and Greg had in the Unknown and are scrambling to buy copies to see what else The Unknown has to offer. Wirt is embarrassed at the attention and Greg is happy to have new friends.
    • That said, because of The Unknown was filled with quirky characters and talking animals, Wirt and Greg became close to Alice Liddell, avatar of Wonderland. The two have tea with her in her temple every now and then.
    • This makes Wirt wary of Dante Alighieri because of how, apparently, Wirt and Greg's journey was based off of Datne's trek through Hell.
    • They also met up with Dorothy Gale and her companions through the Land of Oz as they were trying their hardest to return home. Wirt nearly had a heart attack upon seeing the Cowardly Lion, but calmed down when he learned that the Lion was just afraid of Wirt.
  • The two have been warned to avoid Helheim Forest because it is much more terrifying than the Unknown could ever be. Wirt thought it couldn't be that bad. One talk with Kota Katzuraba later, Wirt was in a fetal position and shivering with fear.
    • Thankfully there are friendly places like the Hundred Acre Wood that Wirt and Greg can relax in (it helps that one of the places Wirt and Greg entered in the Unknown was a schoolhouse for animals to learn their reading, writing and arithmetic). Greg likes hanging out with Tigger and Pooh while Wirt gained kinship with Christopher Robin, Rabbit and Eeyore.
      • One day, Wirt joined Eeyore in one of his cloud-painting observations. Wirt was absolutely inspired to make up a poem on the spot to which Eeyore appreciated.
    • Wirt and Greg became fast friends with the Pine twins since they share many similarities — siblings heading off on an adventure and meet up with very quirky supernautral characters. Wirt is amazed at Dipper's ingenuity — but is somewhat unnerved by the monsters he and Mabel interact with — while Mabel and Greg happily sing and dance together like they were two souls in one body. It's through this friendship that Wirt learned of Bill Cipher — who made Mabel go through a Deal with the Devil and causing Weirdmaggedon — and has immediately been making sure not to cross paths with him or let Greg be anywhere near this one-eyed freak.
  • Wirt only:
    • Wirt is the older of the two, and he's known to be quite insecure about himself. In fact it's these insecurities that caused him and Greg to enter into the Unknown in the first place, as his mixtape for a girl he likes was accidentally given to her and he decided to run away from the potential embarrassment instead of actually going to her (and it was later revealed that his fears were for nothing; she didn't had the means of playing it in the first place!) Wirt has been learning to become more and more comfortable with confronting the unknown, but he's not wrong to think that the Pantheon is 100% completely safe.
    • Due to how his negligence for Greg's safety nearly lead to Greg turning into an Edelwood Tree, Wirt does not have good relations to all evil brothers and Aloof Big Brothers. The closest brother he can get along with in terms to 'normalcy' is Seto Kaiba...but even then Wirt had a lot to tell Kaiba about that "decision" to enter the underworld for a single duel and leaving his little brother alone to run a company until his return. Kaiba has nothing to say to Wirt in regards to it except at the very least Kaiba really cares for his little brother whereas Wirt was already irritated at Greg to begin with and didn't care for the boy's safety when they traversed the Unknown, not to mention that Wirt blamed every single problem with his life (especially the reason why the entered the Unknown in the first place when it was really Wirt's inability to confront his crush about his mixtape) on Greg who was nothing but loving and supportive. Wirt had to admit that Kaiba is 100% accurate at all points.
      • His relationship with Mokuba was a little bit better after Wirt learned more about the Kaiba brothers' situation...and then looked in horror when he found out their adoptive father was also in the Pantheon. Wirt has decided that he's going to be support for Mokuba because hey, Wirt may not like how his mom married Greg's father, but Greg's father is at least supportive of his step-son.
      • Another Aloof Big Brother that Wirt avoids is Matt Hardy, especially after he heard how BROKEN Matt Hardy corrupted his brother to become Brother Nero. Wirt may be annoyed with Greg but he's not that much of a bully.
    • Wirt may not like to admit it, but he's really good at playing clarinet. He's been coerced by various gods to practice in the House of Music, but he's declined. This shyness made him friends with Fluttershy as she's known to have a beautiful singing voice but she's working slowly to performing for large crowds. The two are working on performing with one another in the future.
      • He apparently knows interior design from the 17th and 18th century so he's quite glad to find historical figures from that time period.
    • Wirt dislikes gods who Deal with the Devil since The Beast nearly tricked him to be the lantern bearer in exchange for Greg's safety and all gods who practice Despair Event Horizon because that's how The Beast preys on his victims. Upon learning about The White and Dementors, Wirt immediately put them on the top of his "Must avoid" list.
      • And then he learned of Exdeath, the God of Evil Trees as Wirt was reminded of The Beast's true form of some unholy spawn made out of Edelwood Trees aka humans who have fallen into despair and Wirt is doing his best to not cross Exdeath's path at all.
      • As Wirt was getting used to his surroundings, he met up with Treebeard and nearly had a heart attack. Treebeard looked in confusion because he mistook Wirt for Frodo Baggins. He was interested to know the story of how he and Greg entered the Unknown and praised Wirt for using his wits to outwit the Beast and end his reign of terror once and for all.
      • Another tree-deity that Wirt has become accustomed to is Trevenant after Wirt learned to look past Trevenant's appearance. Greg likes hanging out with Trevenant and it helps that Trevenants are really friendly. Whenever Wirt and Greg decide to explore the House of Plants a few Trevenants will join as bodyguards.
    • Wirt was suffering through nightmares about all the perils in the Pantheon and in his dreams, he was being chased by a dark malevolent figure in a black cloak. After some time, the cloak figure revealed herself as Princess Luna. She entered his dream to assure him that while, yes, there's plenty of dark things in the Pantheon, not all of them are bad. Wirt was grateful to find someone as her who could help him conquer his fears and went to her temple the next day with an elegant poem written about her left on her door.
    • Wirt was glad that he wasn't the only cowardly god in the Pantheon. There was Piglet and both Shaggy and Scooby-Doo. The four have decided to band together to confront the nastier parts of the Pantheon (and it helps that Shaggy and Scooby helped destroy the Nibiru Entity so props for that) He also obtained friendship with James Trotter and Kirin Toudou for how they were able to confront the monsters that were haunting them.
    • One day while practicing clarinet, Wirt heard someone playing a guitar. That turned out to be Miguel Rivera. The two hit it off pretty well since they've both had adventures going through an unknown world. Wirt was kinda freaking out about how everyone in the afterlife were skeletons (Due to his experience in Pottsfield) but he got to meet up with Hector and became adjusted to it. Miguel is amazed at Wirt's skill with the clarinet and the two are hoping to play music together in the future.
  • Greg only:
    • Greg is the cheerful younger (step) brother of Wirt known for being upbeat, his love of animals and being oblivious to the horrors that he can get himself into. Many gods both like him and hate him for this, but it doesn't stop Greg from smiling.
    • Due to many factors, particularly that Wirt and Greg are from 1980 and they have similar names. The Cartoon Network gods are wondering if Greg is a younger Greg Universe. Greg Universe has been tight-lipped on this even though he sees a lot of musical talent in the younger Greg.
    • Greg has a love of frogs, so he's hoping to find fellow frog deities. He once ran into the Chrono Trigger god named Frog who, while someone confused at Greg, found the boy to be quite endearing and takes him on adventures through the House of Nature.
    • Greg's well-known song is Potatoes and Molasses, and he's even taught this song to a couple of gods in the House of Music.
    • Was glad to find elephants in the Pantheon, particular Ganesha. He decided to greet the elephant god by dressing up as an elephant (read: find the nearest metal teapot and place it on top of his head to emulate an elephant trunk)
    • One day, Greg found the cutest little animal: a white weasel with pink eyes. Every single god within the vicinity pulled Greg away from Kyubey before the boy was asked to make a contract. Wirt was horrified to learn what Kyubey has done for thousands upon thousands of girls and will join in on killing Kyubey on sight he ever tries to make a "contract" with Greg.

The Kamen Rider Gaim Gods dealt with the Helheim Forest, which is an invasive alien forest that grows fruit that turns people into monsters when eaten.

Mima Kirigoe, Goddess of Personal Horror

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mima_kirigoe_5392.jpg
  • Rank: Quasideity
  • Symbol: Her own reflection
  • Theme Song: Mima's theme
  • Alignment: True Neutral normally with hints of Neutral Good, but is more Chaotic Neutral internally.
  • Portfolio: Idol Singer turned actor, Broke Contractual Purity, dislikes being a celebrity, Victim of Attempted Rape, The Ophelia, Break the Cutie, Sanity Slippage, Having disturbing nude scenes, Earn Your Happy Ending
  • Domains: Singing, Acting, Insanity, Stalking victims
  • High Priestess: Nina Sayers
  • Allies: Sayaka Maizono, Marion Crane
  • Enemies: The entire house of Tainted Love (barring the good or sympathetic ones) , Annie Wilkes, Any rapist and stalker in the pantheon
  • Additional Character Relationships:
  • Respected by/Respects:
  • Pitied by: 765 Pro, μ's, SoLaMi Smile, Rion Kugayama
  • Following the re-release of her story and the Western release of the story that inspired it, many new deities were finally able to view her story personal growth, trauma, and paranoia. It was then decided to give her the trope of Personal Horror due to how it affected her and how she was able to overcome it.
  • Her and her whole story is filled with a lot of Alternative Character Interpretation, with everyone having a different reading of her and her story. Is she actually fine at the end, or has her alternative persona taken over? When did her delusions begin or did they even end? Did she become an actress by her own choice or was she pushed into it being one by her team? For the sake of her sanity and to not repeat what happened to her, nobody has asked.
  • She has several nude scenes in her story, however most deities find these scenes disturbing rather than titillating. Be it due to how they are shown together to blend with scenes of violence or because she gets into more emotional distress because of them. One of the most infamous scenes being a rape scene for the TV show she was on, which is made out to be as realistic and disturbing as possible and is the start of when her psyche would take a massive hit. This scene would later end up being a dark forewarning into what would actually happen to her, as she would end up the victim of nearly being raped and murdered by a Loony Fan. Thankfully, she was able to fight back, and manage to fend off her attacker. Still, the experience has made her make sure she keeps away from any stalker and rapist in the Pantheon.
  • Considering the fact she was almost raped and killed by a Loony Fan, she is directly opposed to Annie Wilkes considering what she did to the Paul Sheldon. She also reminds her of Remi, her old manager who tried to murder her and take her place as the real Mima.
  • The Story of her High Priestess is in this odd space of being not-quiet a Foreign Retelling and being a Foreign Retelling. For what it's worth, the director owns the right to tell her story, and used a scene straight from her story in one of his earlier works.
  • Gets along well with the other Idol Singers in the pantheon even though she is from different generation of idols. She glad that μ's were able to stop being idols on their own terms and had the freedom to do what they want as idols, unlike her who is implied in being pressured/forced into becoming an actress by her management team. She's also thankful that 765 Pro actually have a legit nice and sane manager unlike her old manager, she's still a little worried on what will happen to the girls when they get too old to be idols. The younger idols can't help but pity her considering what she went through and how she was mistreated, and how they thankfully never have any run-ins like the ones she went through.
    • Out of all the Idol Singers in the Pantheon she seems to get along and understand Sayaka Maizono the most. This mainly comes from the fact they both have Sanity Slippage based on them not being idols anymore.
    • Another Idol Singer she encountered was Rion Kugayama, who like her felt stifled by her idol business. However, she conspired to create a scandal by dating somebody like Kou Tokisawa for the sake of publicity. She was horrified that Mima's attempt to break out to more mature roles resulted in much agony for her, and wonders if her scandal might cause some unhinged fans to come after her. Mima reassured her that she was okay, and that she's unlikely to meet any unsavory people thanks to her powers and friends.

I've got 2[tup]s, pretty sure she's done, but add something in by sandbox if you want.

Lucas Kane, Carla Valenti and Tyler Miles, Gods and Goddess of Out-of-Genre Occurences
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fahrenheit_2005_protagonists_2.png
From left to right: Lucas Kane, Carla Valenti and Tyler Miles
  • Intermediate God, possibly Overdeity after learning the secret of the universe (Lucas), Demideities (Carla and Tyler)
  • Symbol: The Fahrenheit logo
  • Theme Song: Fahrenheit / Indigo Prophecy Main Title
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Out-of-Genre Occurences, Action Commands, Dueling Player Characters, Halfway Plot Switch, Private Eye Monologue, Sanity Meter
  • Domain(s): Genre, Mystery, Murder, Detectives
  • Allies: Norman Jayden, Jodie Holmes and Aiden, The Virtua Cops, Lucia Morgan, Caitlyn, Vi, The Mystery Gang, Most of the House of Justice
  • Enemies: Scott Shelby, Hannibal Lecter, YHVH and the Grand United Alliance of Law, The Illuminati, AM, Skynet, Master Control Program, HAL 9000, SHODAN
  • On a cold night in New York City in January 2009, a man was stabbed to death in the restroom of an East Side diner, with the killer, Lucas Kane, fleeing the scene shortly after. Detectives Carla Valenti and Tyler Miles were put in charge of solving the murder. However, what began as a murder mystery eventually escalated into a fantastical story involving Mayan cults, evil A.I. and supernatural powers.
  • Lucas Kane suddenly appeared within the Pantheon one day, with no idea of how he had gotten there. Initially suspecting the Oracle and the Orange Clan had tried to kidnap him in order to acquire the secret of the universe, Lucas was brought to the Main House and informed that the Orange Clan weren't present in the Pantheon. Simultaneously confused and relieved, Lucas proceeded to tell his story to the gods. When he concluded his story, the gods were quite impressed with how it got gradually stranger as it went along and offered to ascend him. He accepted, but requested that his wife Carla Valenti and her partner Tyler Miles ascend alongside him, which was granted.
  • They quickly managed to befriend Norman Jayden, Jodie Holmes and Aiden, whom they suspect might originate from the same world. While Norman occasionally teams up with Carla and Tyler, Jodie tends to hang out more with Lucas, whom she bonded with due to him also having powers and his ability to perceive Aiden.
  • They're also on good terms with law enforcers such as the Virtua Cops, Lucia Morgan, Caitlyn and Vi. While not a police officer himself, Lucas' powers allow him to work more efficiently and keep up better with Caitlyn and Vi.
  • They managed to strike up a friendship with the Mystery Gang, who have, on occasion, encountered actual monsters in their adventures.
  • They strongly oppose serial killers like Scott Shelby and Hannibal Lecter. Lucas dislikes Shelby due to the ordeal that he had put Ethan through, which reminds Lucas of how he himself had been possessed by the Oracle in order to kill someone. On the other hand, Carla is greatly unnerved by Hannibal Lecter due to how much he reminds her of what she experienced with Anton Janos at Bellevue Asylum.
  • Due to their experiences with the Orange Clan, they strongly dislike any conspiracy groups who seek to control other people. As a result, they oppose YHVH and the Grand United Alliance of Law as well as the Illuminati. Lucas suspects that members of those groups might have been responsible for his presence in the Pantheon in order to acquire the secret of the universe, which makes him especially wary of them.
  • Similarly, their encounters with the Purple Clan have resulted in them strongly opposing evil A.I. As such, they quickly became enemies with AM, Skynet, Master Control Program, HAL 9000 and SHODAN.
  • Lucas only:
    • Born and raised on a remote Wishita military base by his scientist parents, Lucas had periodic clairvoyant visions since his early childhood for reasons he did not understand. The disturbing nature of those visions had a severe emotional impact on him as a child, driving him to isolate himself from others. As an adult, Lucas worked as an IT manager and head of computer maintenance for the Naser & Jones Bank in Manhattan. However, his simple life was turned upside down when he was suddenly possessed by an unearthly force that drove him to murder a random man in the bathroom of a local diner. His visions, which had long been dormant, suddenly resurfaced with an increased frequency and potency following the events at the diner. He also discovered that since that night, he possessed enhanced speed, strength and reflexes, as well as the emergence of telekinetic abilities and temporary flight.
    • Lucas became good friends with Neo after noticing how much he their powers resembled each other. He's also on good terms with Gandalf and Phoenix Ikki, as he's also returned from death stronger than he was before.
    • Things are never quite what they seem. We think we understand the world around us but we really only see the outside. What it seems to be. I used to be just like you. I believed in humanity, the newspapers, soap commercials, politics and history books. One day the world kicks you in the teeth and you don't have any choice but to see things the way they really are. My name is Lucas Kane. My story is the one where an ordinary guy has something extraordinary happen to him. Maybe it was supposed to happen. Maybe it was my destiny or my karma or whatever. I know one thing for sure... nothing's ever going to be the same again.
  • Carla only:
    • Carla was born in Brooklyn, New York to Giuseppe Valenti and Anne Irpino as an only child, she is of Italian-American descent. Carla was known among the other members of the NYPD for her intense work ethic and commitment to the job, to the point that it appeared excessive. However, in reality, her devotion to her work was, in part, her own way of compensating for her lack of any personal life and few friends. Carla is naturally inquisitive and completionist, tending to brood over cases which appear to go nowhere, and is prepared to spend long hours poring over evidence in the hopes of finding one vital clue which may have been missed.
    • Her experience with interrogating serial killers resulted in her befriending Will Graham and Clarice Starling, whom she regularly teams up with in pursuit of apprehending Hannibal Lecter. Her claustrophobia also caused her to bond with Captain Hawkeye Pierce and Storm of the X-Men, both of whom share her phobia.
    • In five years on the force, I've seen some murders. But, you never really get used to death. You just learn to live with it, that's all. I still don't know if it was fatigue, the cold or something else, but I clearly remember the bad feeling I got when I walked into that restaurant, as if some part of me already knew that this time, something was different.
  • Tyler only:
    • Tyler Miles grew up in the Bronx and has three brothers and two sisters. He lead a rough life and this gave him passion for his police work in the hopes of making a difference, to the dismay of his fiance Samantha Malone due to her terror of him being hurt in the line of duty. Tyler, contrary to Carla's serious bearing, has a much more lackadaisical and upbeat attitude towards life, but his devotion to the job and to his fiance is unquestionable.
    • He's on very good terms with Luke Cage, who respects him for his similar desire to make New York a safer place. He also managed to bond with Ichiro Sato and Ryoko Sato, whose break up and subsequent getting back together again reminds him of his own ordeals with his fiance Sam. He also managed to befriend the Autobot Jazz due to their shared taste in music.
    • Back then, we didn't know anything yet. We just thought it was cold, you know. If I had known, I probably would have stayed in bed that night and not gotten out until it was all over. That's the problem. If we knew ahead of time what was going to happen, we'd never leave the house.

[up][up][up][up][up]For Mima, maybe you should add the name of the role she starred in (Yoko Takakura). Her opening quote should be, "Excuse me, who are you?" which is the first line she uttered for the show she starred in and the last thing she should say is "I'm the real thing". She also takes care of fishes (as she had a tank of fish that she took care of; the fact that many of them died after a horrible day of shooting was a sign that things were going crazy)

Also she had a scene of trashing her apartment that was very similar to what Selina Kyle went through in Batman Forever but Mima should stay far away from Catwoman for her own sanity.

Mima is also an Action Survivor; she fought off Me-Mania with a hammer and even when she got stabbed by a an awl, she was able to run away from Rumi.

Mai Tokiha, Goddess of Caretaking

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mai_04.png
  • Also…she makes a mean bowl of ramen, a food Naruto Uzumaki especially loves when he's not on duty. She has since taught Hinata how she makes it. Of course, ramen isn't the only food she's good at cooking.
  • Is often very reluctant to fight because Kagutsuchi does most of her fighting and will often cause more damage than whatever it is she's trying to stop. This doesn't mean that she can't fight - she's just well aware of how overpowered a huge, temperamental, fire-breathing dragon-phoenix hybrid is. And if the battle's relatively small-scale, she wouldn't even need to call upon her CHILD.
  • Unlike its master, Kagutsuchi does not get along with others, especially the dragon-based deities (Bahamut, Shinryu, Caim's dragon Angelus, and Grima…especially Grima). Due to Shinryu and Grima being quite the douchebags, Mai shares the same sentiment. She does her best to keep it reined it around Bahamut, and she doesn't oppose Angelus as much as she opposes Caim.
    • Lina Inverse, after seeing Kagutsuchi in action, has expressed the desire to obtain it should Mai ever tire of her Mon. Mai, after hearing of Lina's penchant for destruction, steadfastly refuses any and all offers for fear of even more destruction. Besides, her CHILD is bound to her, so that's not happening anytime soon, anyway.
  • After her brother received the necessary healthcare treatment to cure him, Mai has gotten noticeably more relaxed and upbeat, almost to the point of being a downright silly Genki Girl at times.
  • She is also a frequent visitor to the House of Music for karaoke nights.
  • Given that her school was victim to a private military coup once, she doesn't like such private contractors who think they have the right to violate personal rights just because they have power. And Jonathan Irons is one of them, even after hearing how it was driven as a result of his son's death in a war.

Captain Viridian, Diety of Gravity As A Gameplay Mechanic

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/viridiannoback.png
  • Theme Songs: "Pushing Onwards" (or "Positive Force" during daring escape sequences)
  • Symbol: A Shiny Trinket
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Color Character, Optimism, Insurmountable Waist-Height Fence, Being Monochromatic, Gravity Master
  • Domains: Gravity, Wrap Around, Teleporting
  • Followers: Seto, Albiero Imma
  • Heralds: The other members of the D.S.S. Souleye crew (Doctor Violet, Professor Vitellary, Officer Vermilion, Doctor Victoria, Chief Verdigris)
  • Allies: Kat, Mega Man
  • Enemies: Crow
  • Ascended to the Pantheon by falling up to it.
    • That's what many joke about him saying. The truth is, the D.S.S. Souleye arrived somewhere in the House of Time and Space after the crew saved the dimension they got stuck in thanks to the research they found in the Secret Lab. After that, they tried getting back home, but ended up here. After negotiations, an appearance before the Court of the Gods, and a report of their journey, Viridian was nominated to represent Gravity Screw, due to it being the core mechanic of his whole adventure.
  • Despite being referred to as male, no one actually knows whether or not if he's male or female. Officer Vermilion does addresses the Captain as "Sir", but that's likely from military regulations, which would likely require that form of address even if Viridian was a woman.
  • Has trouble navigating certain houses because of bumps of moderate heights, which he must reverse gravity to go over. Inclines make it easier for him to navigate.
  • If Viridian falls out of sight, whether by accident or another god pulling a joke, he respawns hours later back at the "entrance" to the House of Time and Space.
    • However, since Born's ascension evaluating the inconvenience of this, Viridian's respawn has been changed to "seconds after his death" and "at the entrance of any sub-House/Dominion he's in".
  • Has become good friends with Mega Man, who shares the same problem with spikes.
  • Kat gets along with Viridian and is often there to help him out by carrying him with her gravity powers whenever he needs to traverse somewhere with multiple elevations.
  • Has been invited to a tournament somewhat similar to that of Master Hand's. And fellow Indie Game deities like Shovel Knight, Sash Lilac, Octodad, Dust, Diogenes, and Gunvolt have been invited as well. And to even things out, he's been granted the ability to throw the V spikes that have plagued his adventure. Among many other bonuses.

Speaking of YHVH, why does he want Madoka dead? I know he would see her as a threat but it feels like she did something personal to him.

[up] Hmm... Maybe less personal and more on the fact that Madoka's Hope Bringer status and being seen as a totally benevolent (former, as in literal) deity challenges YHVH's authority a lot. That's about the best explanation I have.

On the other spectrum, excluding YHVH, Lucifer and Castlevania!Satan, The Shadow Monster and Madoka are apparently linked in some way (Given you did the Shadow Monster's profile), Thanos outright hates the Magical Girl concept, Darkseid wants to kill Madoka or imprison her in the Omega Sanction to further break the Pantheon's spirit and valor and Nagash, being, well, Nagash killed Mami and Kyoko during a GUAD invasion and mocked and mentally tortured Madoka for the hell of it. Makes me wonder what kind of reasoning YHVH would have hating on her.

[down] Yeah, but so is Vanitas and many of Madoka's enemies, even the ones not in bold. And in all honesty, an enemy being in bold has to have a reason being beyond simply being an asshole.

[up] YHVH's an asshole, is that a good enough explanation?

Okay, here's my other idea. He sees himself as the Ultimate Great God. Madoka (before Homura fucked it up) was also the Ultimate Great God in her world. The difference being YHVH is YHVH and doesn't really care about anyone or anything other than being the only god in existence, while Madoka sacrificed everything to ascend and become the embodiment of Hope and destroy the Witch System so her friends and everyone else wouldn't have to suffer anymore, and is a genuinely benevolent deity. Who do you think people will like more, and how do you think that Gold-Faced Fuckup would react

If anything, YHVH should have more of a bone to pick with Homura as Homura is now Lucifer’s protege. Madoka is more or less a victim, so YHVH does have literal no reason to waste time plotting to kill Madoka when she’s not even on his level any longer.

Should we rework YHVH’s profile at some point? It’s not an empty profile by any means but I feel it’s a tad bit outdated.

Big problem with reworking Cosmos is just that she has such a high position (possibly relative to screentime) that writing about her is just so convoluted. Like if she had just a regular spot, she would have been done by now. But no, she has to uphold to a ridiculous standard.
