Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Lady Maria's rework draft. I added more information and flavor text. Any more suggestions (blood magic users, secret keepers) and I'll be done

A corpse, should be left well alone.

Lady Maria, Divine Gate Boss (Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower, The Original Paleblood Waifu)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ca7af20ca9cfd3f47aab0434dfc34301dce39ce5360a6eb3df198921d0b8d757_large.jpg
  • Leitmotif: Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower
  • Symbol: The Rakuyo. Alternatively, the Astral Clocktower.
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Portfolio: A once noble of Cainhurst, who might have been possibly dead all this time, uses the Art of Quickening, a gracious hunter who fights with skill, fights with blood later on and fire, uses the rare Rakuyo, simply wants to guard the darkest secret of Byrgenwerth and will use any method to protect it, the one who Gehrman modeled the doll after which explains their similar looks, has the same fate as Gehrman protecting a Great One
  • Domains: Love (associated), Secrets, Blood, Guilt, Guardians
  • Additional Relationships: The Great Old Ones, The Doll, Gehrman, the First Hunter
  • Source of Interest to: Hermaeus Mora, Micolash, Host of the Nightmare and anyone with a curious mania to secrets
  • Commonality Connection with: Mr. Robot
  • Enemies: The Hunter, most treasure hunters including Lara Croft, Indiana Jones, Nathan Drake, The Crimson Court, The Ancestor
  • Opposes: Blood Magic users, Sorin Makov, Mirai Kuriyama
  • The Old Hunters are the legends of old, they are the very first to master their craft of the hunt and with their skills came a large variety of weapons unique at that time. That same past knowledge also hid itself a large portion of secrets, one which entailed a simple Hamlet. Said past cursed them into the dimension known as the Hunter's Nightmare, putting them all in a neverending hunt in what may seem like an eternity. Those who witnessed the horrors firsthand was Lady Maria, an Old Huntress within Cainhurst ancestry. That part is only one secret in a web of secrets entailed on her past including her being Gehrman's source of infatuation, which lead to him modelling the doll into her image, her detesting the lineage she came from and finally being one of the first witnesses to Byrgenwerth and their heretical actions to the Fishing Hamlet leading to her defending its entrance with her life. Understanding the severity of the events that unfolded in front of her eyes, the only path she can take is to defend the Astral Clocktower and with it the secrets it holds.
  • When the Hunter's Nightmare was opened, a large portion of it was undiscovered by many travelers and those of the curious kind. One of which is the Research Hall, a weird maze of swirling staircases and mangled forms of its patients. The experiments that entailed in these halls are lost in time but the results are evident from all the enlarged head patients that encompasses the structure. In front of the Research Hall is a garden that connects it to the unknown building known as the Astral Clocktower. This very thing is the gate between the Hunter's Nightmare and the unfortunate secret that holds the realm together and the one that guards its entry is one lone Old Hunter who has sworn to protect the secret from anyone who dares to uncover it. This Old Hunter, Lady Maria, has fought many adventurers who have reached far into the depths of the Nightmare only to find them returning back to where they began. The Hunter, after a gruelling fight against Ludwig, would soon encounter her once again and the memories of her first encounter with him angered her and fought once again. Despite dying over and over against her, the Hunter finally achieved success and finished her, allowing the secrets to unfold and the true horrors of the nightmare to be discovered by the curious.
    • Her defeat, while tragic has lead many of the Court of the Gods to see potential in her entrance. Seeing that a certain house has a large presence of otherworldly activity and that the Astral Clocktower worked similarly to a gate of the unknown proceeded to create a formal ascension for her, giving her a reason to ascend while performing her duty. Some would argue that by prolonging Maria's life can be considered an even worse fate than death, but others would see that her presence can help keep the House shut thanks to the Clocktower's nature. Regardless of one's thoughts, there is one clear fact and that Maria will guard the Clocktower whatever the costs.
  • After the ascension, Maria's first reaction was with utter shock seeing that something felt off, of which she took a gander outside and saw that the garden in front of the Astral Clocktower was gone. Feeling that the world around her must have been modified to a certain degree, she instead remained inside until the outside view returned back to normal. However, when she opened the door once again, a group of hooded figures gave her a letter, of which expained the terms and conditions of her ascension. Before she could utter a word, the figures dissappeared and soon the location she was guarding returned to its original state. Confused, her only response was to sit in front of the Clocktower, guarding it for the rest of her life.
  • Prior to certain events, her thought of the possibility that in this new world she is in that she would be the only one of her kind that received the same form of ascension. Little did she realize that she was most certainly not alone. The Hunter that has fought her has his presence known within the Pantheon grounds as well as another inhabitant of the Hunter's Nightmare, Ludwig. This also goes for the deity she is trying to hide, Kos, or in specific terms, Kos' corpse, a point brought up by one of the Great One's heralds, Micolash. And speaking of which, the latter's interest towards her dedication has made him howl about how Hunter's for all their human thoughts, are no different if placed in a dream.
    • Things got more complicated upon Gehrman's received news of Maria's ascension. Seeing that he still has feelings for her despite the situation both are arguably in, he refuses to try to approach her even when the opportunity is present. This also brought more confusion with the Doll, the one thing he made in Maria's image. The fact that both Maria and the Doll are in the Pantheon has made Gehrman feel rather awkward in his presence. With his dissatisfaction of the doll and his unwillingness to reunite with Maria due to certain conditions has left him even more bitter than before.
  • Past the Hunter, with the Astral Clocktower now transformed as one of the very few gateways to the House of Otherness, her task grew immensely harder. Outside of him, other treasure hunters and even those who wish to uncover every single stone and secret have come in droves to the unimaginable horrors that is whatever is past the Clocktower. Those that do discover it will see the village that the scholars have defiled, the Fishing Hamlet, and with it Kos' corpse. Some of the treasure hunters are armed with little more than the usual firearms, of which she can easily dodge with precise skill, she is an Old Hunter after all. However, if her defeat to the Hunter is of any indication, there are possibly far more dangerous curiosity seekers that may overpower her, something that she has resigned to since she also has the use of blood blades to give her an equal match, despite her standards of hating her heritage.
    • Treasure hunters such as the likes of both Lara Croft and Nathan Drake will not be happy facing her since they have dealt with regular humans, and Maria is very different from their usual foes. Resistant to usual gunfire and skillful swordplay, she can easily take them down with little effort, although Nathan's luck, insane as it may be, could change the tide but for the most part, their encounters with her have been met with disastrous results. Other treasure hunters such as the League of Explorers and Indiana Jones have some considerable progress although in most cases, combat is not their type, and Maria's efforts have made it clear she will not go down without a fight.
    • Secret seekers are another issue she takes personally as the secrets behind the Clocktower are of her personal concern. This secret has made Hermaeus Mora laugh, probably because the Daedric Prince's incorporeal nature and the fact that he can wallow through the Clocktower with complete ease despite Maria able to sense an unusual presence. The secret of Kos, Byrgenwerth and the Fishing Hamlet and their atrocities are all known to the Prince of Fate though he keeps it to himself for obvious reasons. Other secret seekers who are of physical form however, Maria will handle them at ease, if they have some form of superpower to back them up.
  • Blood Magic in general seems to be a controversial topic for her. While her heritage allows this, she has made it abundantly clear of her hatred of such technique shown with her original Rakuyo dropped in a well in the Fishing Hamlet as well as her theorized suicide. Although, after waking up in the Hunter's Nightmare as a price for her participation in the horrors that Byrgenwerth did, she has decided to keep her blood blades as a last ditch attempt protecting the Clocktower she guards, so it is more of a case of necessary protection considering the secrets behind her. That said, her Cainhurst heritage has only served interest for some of the more bloodied deities.
    • The Crimson Court are very notorious for this, since the entirety of the denizens of the wretched Courtyard have become blood-crazed fiends, almost as if they are even worse than the Yharnamites who transfused their blood with the Old Blood. While some of the Courtyard's own people took a visit in the Clocktower and get smashed for it, said attempts have only fueled the frenzy with her blood blades, the Rakuyo being the main catalyst. The Countess have also seen the relations of her to the Vilebloods, only wanting relations with her just to coerce her to the Court's side, a situation she has declined through fighting. The more astute deities may see that a shadowy figure has been spying on her defending the Clocktower against the Crimson Court, suggesting that said figure may have something to do with the entire ruckus and they are right. The Ancestor, seeing all the secrets beneath that gate has made it clear to extract it by any means necessary as well as killing her to avoid a sudden threatening rise for the Crimson Court's forces should they persuade her, a 'two birds in one stone' idea in his mind.
    • Other people who have sensed her Blood Magic came to visit the Clocktower in the hopes of meeting her, though she has resigned her other thoughts to valiantly protect the gate, meaning she will not be teaching anyone soon but rather, demonstrate it through combat with their lives at stake. Sorin Makov learned this the hard way after his first foray in the Hunter's Nightmare though reading her backstory he could not help but call Maria a hypocrite for destesting her heritage but still use her blood blades anyway. Oh how Sorin must be a fool to not see the whole picture.
    • Past him however, her thoughts soon pointed to Mirai Kuriyama as she also has the same magic to her, including blood-infused weaponry of their own. However, Maria's distate of blood magic also means she has a personal distaste for Mirai's presence. She even has gone so far as to claim Mirai's clan being wiped was a justifiable action for such power, of which she is heavily offended by. What she does notice however is that Maria's own heritage, the Cainhurst Vilebloods have also been in a near total wipeout by the Executioner Hunters, so in many cases, her thoughts also counts to her own bloodline.
  • Her own idea of protecting the terrible secrets of the Fishing Hamlet, coupled with her necessary usage of blood blades despite her hatred of such has seen comparisons between her and Elliot Alderson. When he saw her biography, he sees the similarities but there is a catch: while Elliot and Mr. Robot's personalities would clash, they would ultimately agree that their actions, for better or worse, can be repairable and resulted in reconciliation between identities. He sees Maria's case as, while noble, mixed. Yes the secrets of the Fishing Hamlet are an awful truth but without the full release of the actual Sweet Child of Kos (and no, the Orphan is not that), the Hunter's Nightmare will remain so if anything, Maria's goal is just prolonging the Nightmare.
  • "Oh, I know very well how the secrets beckon so sweetly. Only an honest death will cure you now. Liberate you from your wild curiosity."

I swear Loid, you can't draw worth shit!

  • Symbol: His striped tie
  • Theme Song: NAVIGATOR
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral with Chaotic Good tendencies
  • Portfolio: Arbitrarily Large Bank Account, Bishōnen, Cowboy Cop, Crimefighting with Cash, Fiction 500, Nerves of Steel, Non-Idle Rich, Rich in Dollars, Poor in Sense, Sharp-Dressed Man, Smoking Is Cool, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with Haru Kato, HEUSC
  • Domains: Crime, Detectives, Money
  • Herald: Suzue Kambe
  • High Priest: Fred
  • Allies: Conan Edogawa, Bruce Wayne/Batman, Shinya Kogami, Seto Kaiba, Shinnosuke Tomari, Ryotaro Dojima, Tony Stark/Iron Man, Nami
  • Enemies: Manfred von Karma, Shogo Makishima, Mr. Burns, Frank Tenpenny and Eddie Pulasky, Brian Irons, Manny Pardo, Bluebeard
  • The son of the very wealthy Kambe family, Daisuke uses his money and cutting-edge technology to solve criminal cases. He joins the Metropolitan Police Department's Modern Crime Prevention Task Force where he is partnered with Haru Kato, who disapproves of his way of solving things with money.
  • Daisuke has taken a liking to the young detective Conan Edogawa and is impressed by his intuition and intelligence. Conan likewise respects how Daisuke can keep mostly keep his composure no matter how stressful the situation. He has lent Conan his money and technological sources to help him solve the various criminal cases within the Pantheon, with Conan very grateful to Daisuke for his help. It helps that an earlier version of Daisuke from the novel series is regarded as a famous detective in Conan's world.
  • He has a great dislike for Mr. Burns, one of the Three Managers of Commerce. While Daisuke uses his wealth as a means to solve crime and circumvent obstacles in his investigations, he would never stoop to the level of greed that Mr. Burns has. He finds it pitiful that Mr. Burns uses his money to stage rescues to fulfill his superhero dreams as Fruit Bat Man, believing him to be far inferior to the original Batman, the "World's Greatest Detective". Using his money as heir to the Kambe Family, Daisuke is trying his best to prevent Burns from taking complete control over the House of Commerce.
  • Daisuke has struck something of a Friendly Rivalry with Shinya Kogami thanks to their similarities, both being black-haired, pale-skinned detectives regarded by many as handsome who have a disregard for the rules. However, Kogami, the Tall, Dark, and Handsome God, the stands well above the shorter, 5'6" Daisuke. This mildly annoys Daisuke, who wears shoes that elevate himself by five centimeters to compensate for his height.
  • To solve crimes, Daisuke has been buying the top technology out there to help in his goals. Daisuke has been learning from Tony Stark to improve his A.I. butler HEUSC to be just as good, if not better than, Stark's famous A.I. J.A.R.V.I.S. He has also been trying to purchase some of Tony Stark's technology like his Powered Armors to fight criminals whenever needed. However, Tony refused to Daisuke's disappointment.
  • Daisuke's motivation for being a detective stems from his mother's tragic death when he was only a child. Given his mother's murder at the hands of his father Shigemaru Kambe, Daisuke has harbored an intense hatred for men who brutally kill their wives in cold blood. Since joining the Pantheon, he has aimed to take down infamous Bluebeard, the Unholy Wife Killer.
  • Scrooge McDuck has expressed surprise at Daisuke's willingness to spend millions of dollars to solve cases. The cheap old duck cannot understand why he would do so when he gets nothing out of it. He was even more surprised to find out Daisuke's unwillingness to become heir of the Kambe Family and fully inherit his family's abundant wealth.
  • He has an intense hatred for Manny Pardo, who, on the surface is an incompetent officer with Cowboy Cop tendencies, is actually the identity behind the Miami Mutilator who grew increasingly disgruntled with the media not paying attention to his killings compared to stories such as the resurgence of the Russian Mafia and its battles with the Cartel from the Son and apparent existence of other masked killers from the Fans. Given the corruption involved in the investigation of his mother's murder case, Daisuke has little tolerance for Dirty Cops.
  • Daisuke has formed something of an Odd Friendship with Nami due to their shared belief in the value of money. Nani, however, has showed mild annoyance at Daisuke's privilege and arrogance from being born into the wealthy Kambe family, while she grew up poor in Orange Town and had to gather the money to save her hometown from Arlong. She's been trying to swindle Daisuke of his money, but he's been clever enough to avoid it so far to Nami's dismay.
  • Although confident in his intelligent and financial resources, even Daisuke admits that L Lawliet is by-far the best detective in the Pantheon even in spite of his eccentrics and far superior than himself. However, the secretive L has not been willing to communicate with his fellow detective Daisuke unless it's through his butler Watari. Daisuke has been trying to bribe L to teach him his skills by getting him the most delicious sweets possible, fully aware of the detective's notorious Sweet Tooth.

Repost since I didn't receive any suggestions the last time I posted.

A little update so far. I'm thinking about what Gregory and Paula would think of Lisbeth Salander.

I'm also considering having Paula interact with Alicia Huberman, but is there any way to make it work other than the fact that they share the same actress?

Gregory and Paula Alquist Anton, Dual Representatives of Gaslighting (Gregory: Sergis Bauer [his real name])

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gaslight_9216.jpg
Gregory (left) and Paula (right)
  • Potential House: Causes of Madness
  • Quasideities
  • Symbol: Aunt Alice’s jewels
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil (Gregory), Neutral Good (Paula)
  • Portfolio:
  • Domains: Abuse, Insanity, Manipulation
  • Heralds: Nancy, Miss Thwaites, Elizabeth, Brian Cameron
  • Allies:
  • Enemies:
  • Pitied by: B.J. Blaskowicz (for Paula)
  • Paula Alquist is a young girl who lived with her aunt, a famous opera singer named Alice Alquist sometime during the Victorian London era. One day, the aunt is suddenly murdered and robbed by the mysterious Sergius Bauer, leaving Paula alone. Years later, while studying abroad for the ten years since the incident, she would meet a man named Gregory Anton (unaware of the fact that he’s actually Sergis), whom she would eventually marry. After returning to London, Paula began to notice strange goings-on: missing pictures, strange footsteps in the night, and gaslights that dim without being touched. It turns out that her husband had tormented her in order to send her to an asylum and obtain her aunt’s jewels. This situation brought the attention of Scotland Yard inspector Brian Cameron, who has known known Alice Alquist since his childhood; seeing Paula brought his interest in solving the case regarding Alice’s murder. After recovering her sanity, Paula would end up turning the tables as she psychologically tortured Gregory, now bound to a chair, tantalizing him with the suggestion that she might free him so he can escape arrest, trial, and execution, before calling in Cameron to arrest Gregory and take him away.
  • Upon reviewing their story, the Court of the Gods felt that they are a perfect fit to represent the Gaslighting trope, especially considering the fact that it named the trope in the first place, and it was a matter of time before the couple’s presence was brought to the court. Paula was understandably concerned with having to share the title with her husband given what she had to go through. At Paula’s request, Brian was also brought in as one of their Heralds, particularly to keep Gregory in check.
  • Paula’s experiences with Gregory led her to be sought out by other people who have had similar experiences. One person that she became allies with is Susy Hendrix, another woman who had experience being tormented by nefarious plotters. Paula admired Susy for being able to defend herself against Roat despite her blindness while Susy is happy that Paula was able to stand up against her abusive husband. The two swear to get behind each other’s back if another situation like this happens to either of them.
    • She did not expect a non-human animal like Simba to relate to her, but he ended up being another of her allies. Both left their homes when their parental figures were killed, traumatizing them, and only came back as adults. They thought the killers were trustworthy when in truth they were manipulating them psychologically for their own ends, but in the end managed to see them for what they are.
    • She also didn’t expect to ally herself with Linkara, who had his own experience with gaslighting as he recalled the time that Mechakara tried to gaslight him into suicide by making him think he was the father who abused and sacrificed his child for their dark god (the Magic Gun was that child). Adora and Catra also sympathize with her as they were reminded of being gaslit by Weaver.
    • While B.J. Blaskowicz is not connected to gaslighting, his mother, Zofia, was a victim of abuse from his father, Rip, who only married her just to get her family's fortune. As such, he has shown sympathy towards Paula, seeing as she had to deal with an abusive husband.
  • Some people couldn’t help but compare Gregory to Uncle Charlie as they both have a preference towards strangulation when it comes to committing murder, altough their motives are different; Gregory is just greedy while Charlie thinks he's ridding the world of scum. Charlie and Gregory also seem to have intense feelings for their marks (the younger Charlie and Paula respectively). When Paula first encountered Uncle Charlie, she at first thought he was Detective Cameron, but it wasn’t until he attempted to strangle her that she realized otherwise. Fortunately, her own allies were also there to clear up this situation.
  • Paula’s experiences with Gregory led her to oppose most other gaslighters in the Pantheon, such as Mother Gothel (for her attempts to manipulate Rapunzel) and Thomas Wake (who was a gaslighter against Winslow). She also doesn’t like Akio Ohtori for being a domestic abuser, not helped by the fact that Gregory used to serve as Akio’s high priest before his ascension (and the fact that they seem to be on good terms with each other).

[up][up] @Donnie: A good starting point between Paula and Alicia is that Alicia was out to do good and ended up being hurt by her husband's subtle manipulations, only in Alicia's case it was a far more physical kind of pain, and while Paula tortured Gregory in retaliation, Alicia simply left Sebastian. I don't know much about any of the characters, but Alicia might frown upon or approve of Paula's revenge.

Updated Kaze. Swapped out mention of Molag Bal for a different demon in the GUAE who I know for a fact isn't afraid to take a hands-on approach to wreaking havoc. Is it good to be ascended?

  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Summon Bigger Fish, Cool Guns, Depleted Phlebotinum Shells, Eyepatch of Power, All-Powerful Bystander until he steps in in last-second to save the day, Doing so over and over again, Amnesiac Anti-Hero, Being abrasive and aloof but still caring about others, Resurrective Immortality

  • Enemies: Chaos (Final Fantasy), Chaos (Sailor Moon), Porky Minch, The Four Chaos Gods, Dharkon, Zamasu, the Grand United Alliance of Chaos and Grand United Alliance of Destruction as a whole
  • Opposed By: The Anti-Spiral
  • Mutual Interest: Jiren
  • Conflicting Opinion: Discord and benevolent chaotic beings in general
  • Kaze is a protagonist of Final Fantasy: Unlimited, a mysterious wanderer with an unnecessary eyepatch who stalked the world of Wonderland, saying little to the child protagonists Ai and Yu or their keeper Lisa. He only cared about opposing the tyrannical self-proclaimed ruler, Earl Tyrant, and the man he saw as his arch-enemy, Makenshi. However, he still has a caring side to him, as he has repeatedly gone out of his way to save Ai, Yu and Lisa, and when a werewolf girl named Lou developed a crush on him, he allowed her to get as clingy as she liked without making much of a fuss about it. He is said to be an Unlimited, or a mortal with power surpassing that of gods, who can come back from death. Also, he gets flashbacks to the last time he spoke to his sister from people grabbing him.
  • Kaze's primary claim to fame is the weapon attached to his right arm called the Magun. Normally it takes the form of a golden cylinder around his arm, but when it starts to move, Kaze is able to 'thaw' it into its true form - a three-barreled handgun with a loading chamber with three slots on one side and a drill on the other, as well as a beating black heart. Kaze has a bandolier of glass 'bullets' which are actually charges of Soil, a magical sand made from crystallized life force. By loading three different colors of Soil, Kaze can summon a variety of otherworldly monsters. Soil combinations seen in Unlimited and the resulting summons are listed below, in the forms of the speeches Kaze makes as he summons them.
    • Phoenix: "The origin of everything, Mother Black! That which burns everything, Fire Red! And the critical point of everything, Burning Gold!"
    • Typhoon: "More infinite than the open sky, Sky Blue! Perfection that pierces the earth, Grand Brown! And finally, a deception to twist reality, Magic Violet!"
    • Shiva: "The cry of the dark spirit, Dark Green! The one that does not forgive the creation of life, Virgin White! And finally, the one that freezes everything, Ice Blue!"
    • Ixion: "The deep sleep that envelops death, Steel Gray! The rising of boiling blood, Heat Crimson! And the brilliance that pierces the darkness, Lightning Yellow!"
    • Bismark: "The one who tears apart boulders with its teeth, Shark Gray! The one who envelops all thirst, Water Blue! Finally... the one who feeds on emptiness, Crusher White!"
    • Ifrit: "The grinding teeth of incandescence, Cardinal Red! The deep blood of the hurricane, Dark Crimson! Finally, the strength of steel! Burnt Sienna!"
    • Odin: "The light that tells of eternity, Bullet Silver! The darkness that tells of destruction, Destroy Black! The moment that tells of extinction, Steel Gray!"
    • Atomos: "The anger that cuts off everything, Storm Blue! That which absorbs all color, Ash Gray! Finally, that which falls into the infinite darkness, Silent Black!"
    • Titan: "The protecting earth that makes even the heavens cry, Gaia Brown! The hidden quiet passion, Deep Vermilion! Finally, the everlasting vitality of life, Ever Green!"
    • Meteor Master: "The cry that destroys the heavens, Horizon Gold! The anger that pours down, Aero Black! Finally, the light that pierces eternity, Auto Silver!"
    • Gun Dragon/Omega: "The light that fills your eyes, Tear Rainbow! The ultimate soul, Soul Gunmetal! Finally... my life's spiral, Endless White!"
  • In his left hand, Kaze additionally wields a strange shotgun that resembles Nero's Blue Rose in terms of having two vertical barrels. In the Pantheon, he reserves its use for things he knows aren't immune to bullets, because there's not much point when the alternative is the Magun.
  • After the final battle with Chaos in Unlimited After, Kaze awoke in the Pantheon in the middle of a war between the GUAG and the GUAE. In a twist of fate, he himself was summoned by Lucy Heartfilia, desperate to find someone who could defeat a rampaging Diablo. As he could not fire the Magun without Ai and Yu around, he silently shook his head, but then Vulcan, observing the commotion, fixed the Magun with a strike of his hammer and Kaze immediately sprang into action. Declaring "I've chosen the Soil for the likes of you!" he proceeded to summon Typhoon, which created a space cube around Diablo and shrank it further and further until the Lord of Terror had been excised from three-dimensional space. For defeating such a threat in no time flat with such an immensely powerful summon, and having many more where that came from, Kaze was granted the divine role of Summon Bigger Fish.
  • For Kaze's part, he's largely indifferent to the Pantheon itself, but after all he's been through to try and defeat Chaos, the existence of Chaos in the Pantheon, accompanied by yet more malevolent incarnations of chaos, has given him a new enemy. The only thing that's gotten a truly surprised reaction out of him so far is the Cids. He asked them if they knew about the Ghost Train, and was even more surprised when they said they knew the Cid who had made it in the first place.
  • When it was revealed that the drill on the Magun is there because Soil has to move in a spiral motion to activate its power, Kamina went out and dragged Kaze to meet the others of Team Dai-Gurren. Kaze was put off by their over-the-top attitude, but when he realized he, too, gets more Hot-Blooded when the drill starts spinning, he started to wonder if they weren't on to something with a connection between Soil and Spiral Power. He's sparked a budding friendship with Simon, who does his best to keep his voice down around Kaze.
    • The Anti-Spiral, fearing and hating Kaze's potential as an Unlimited, has taken very close note of this. It's said that a fight between Kaze and an equal would release more than enough power to destroy the world, so although they have not yet crossed paths in person, preparations are being made, for the day may yet come when they have a battle of typical Gurren Lagann proportions.
  • Jiren once sought out Kaze, curious about the so-called god-surpassing power of the Unlimited. When Kaze informed Jiren that most of the power belonged to the Magun as an extension of himself, and not his own combat prowess, the Pride Trooper was disappointed but still found a common point in the tragic backstories that led to their stoic demeanors and blunt approaches to combat.
    • This got Kaze on Zamasu's shitlist. Kaze was only able to scare Zamasu off by freezing part of his body with Shiva in such a way that the mad god could not regenerate, but he's aware that it wouldn't be enough, and is prepared to reach out to deities he would otherwise never interact with, like Goku, in order to stop Zamasu for good.
  • The first being of chaos that Kaze got to meet face-to-face was Discord, which left him... conflicted. He wants nothing more than to stop the rampant destruction and havoc caused by Chaos at all costs, but he's learned from the events of Unlimited Episode 19 and After that chaos and destruction can take benevolent form, as much as he may hate it. He had his shotgun in Discord's face up until Fluttershy stopped him, and left the Hall of Order & Chaos in a silent, confused huff.
  • Absolutely D E T E S T S Porky Minch for reminding him far too much of the Earl Tyrant. Both are immature brats with too much power and authority for their own good, who attempted to control an apocalyptic entity and also brainwashed a member of the Kid Hero's family into their loyal servant to help them with it. At any moment where the two are in the same area, bullets will fly.
  • He was once invited to join the Grand United Alliance of Law, under the assumption that his hatred of chaos stemmed from a desire for order. Upon learning about Yaldabaoth, however, he quickly grew disgusted and left. He doesn't hate the GUAL, but a being of order that is just as destructive and controlling as Chaos is just as vile in his eyes.
  • Remus Lupin once caught Kaze idly staring at him. It turned out that Kaze was remembering a werewolf from his own universe with a similarly blatant themed name, Lou Lupus. The first thing Kaze said about Lou was her obsessive crush on him, and Lupin was repulsed by the notion that he had somehow triggered those specific memories. Still, his curiosity was piqued by learning how Lou's brand of werewolf transformed by looking into another werewolf's eyes or a mirror, rather than a full moon, giving the process a more romantic flair. Bigby Wolf, on the other hand, immediately thought of Bloody Mary and refused to discuss Wonderland werewolves.
  • An encounter was once arranged between Kaze and the Pantheon's resident bigger fish, Liopleurodon. Nothing came of it, because Liopleurodon can't speak English and Kaze doesn't talk to giant monsters. He did not summon Bismark for fear of a fight that would result in catastrophic collateral damage.
  • During an attack by King Ghidorah, Rei's Gomora was sent out to try and stop it, but could only manage to hold back the mighty Titan. That was, until Kaze appeared on the scene and summoned Ifrit to attack the three-headed monster with a ball of fire bigger than its entire body. After Ghidorah was successfully routed, Rei invited Kaze to join the GUAG, but the wanderer refused, remaining a free agent. Still, when a giant monster attacks the Pantheon, these two can often be seen on the scene together.
  • Cosmos was disappointed to learn of Kaze's refusal to take a definite side in the war between good and evil, but she doesn't mind. Since he is part of the Final Fantasy multiverse, and he continues to oppose Chaos, he is an honorary member to her.

@Hamana - Your profile honestly looks good enough [tup].

@KiriK and SailorVenus - [tup].

@Donnietu - Try and see any similar character traits between Paula and Alice and/or if they went through similar situations. Check their work pages and you might be able to find something.

I'll be doing a trio group nomination in the next few hours, one of which being the main teenage cast of Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai from, well, Cobra Kai under Rival Dojos. I'll list my reasons once I get to nominating them proper, but I would like to state that while Pacifist Dojo and Thug Dojo were potential choices, the unpredictable nature of the show rendered me to just settle for Rival Dojos. That, and I'm intending to keep Daniel, Johnny and Kreese separate because I feel like I'd be clogging a profile up far too much, plus a group profile being composed of numerous characters with varying different alignments would be pretty difficult to organise and list out with consistency.

That, and just because I'm nominating them now doesn't mean I'm doing them next. Given my pacing regarding my profile works at the moment + personal life commitments, they're going to have to wait a while before I finally get to do them, which would likely mean a few months.

Anyway, beta draft for my rework on Sophitia. To profess, she's a devout Greek Pantheon believer who was appointed by Hephaestus to search and destroy Soul Edge. She succeeds but is dragged back the moment Soul Edge returns and, at one point, was Forced into Evil once her daughter got dragged into Tira's machinations. Obviously enough, she loves her family and is considered a Paragon by the franchise's narrative.

Suggestions and ideas are welcome...

  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: The Omega Sword & Elk Shield
  • Theme Music: Fearless Eyes, Sacred Dawn
  • Alignment: Lawful Good (was once Neutral Evil by force and desperation in one Timeline)
  • Portfolio: Action Mom, Decided to Combat Soul Edge over her Husband, Has a Stable Marriage with Rothion, Nice Girl, The Girly Girl to her Sister's Tomboy, Light Is Good, Gorgeous Greek, Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold, Absolute Altruism, Paladin and Paragon Archetypes, Religious Bruiser, Is Idolized by Cassandra
  • Domains: Family, Motherhood, War, Protection, Holiness
  • Heralds: Patroklos and Pyrrha Alexandra (her children), Rothion (her husband), Lucius Alexandra (her younger brother)
  • Allies: Cassandra Alexandra (her younger sister), Hildegard von Krone, King Arthur Pendragon, Arturia Pendragon, Izumi Curtis, Statesman, Percy Jackson, Diana of Themyscira/Wonder Woman, Heracles, Link, Lucina, Bryan Mills, Asura
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Grøh, Zasalamel
  • Enemies: Nightmare, Soul Calibur, Cervantes de Leon, Tira, Dr. Sofia Lamb, Ares, Morathi, The Child Abuse Supporters
  • Pities: Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, Kratos
  • Watching Over: Atreus
  • Sophitia Alexandra was once a woman who showed a strong devotion towards the Greek Pantheon. Initially, she was set for a normal, yet happy, life when she married Rothion. However, fate would intervene when the cursed blade, Soul Edge, was beginning to resurface, prompting several warriors from across the world to begin searching for the legendary blade for their own desires and goals. In Sophitia's case, she was contacted by Hephaestus, who warned her of the sword's malicious and destructive nature and personally blessed her with the divine will of the Greek Gods. Sophitia was also granted the Omega Sword and Elk Shield before choosing to go out and look for Soul Edge, battling countless foes and Malfested, beings who were corrupted by Soul Edge, before stumbling upon the current wielder of the blade, Cervantes de Leon, an undead pirate who sought to use the blade to assert control over the seas and the world. Sophitia and Cervantes duelled viciously, with the latter gaining the upper hand before the former received the unexpected aid of the ninja, Taki. However, Sophitia was struck with a serious blow from Cervantes, causing a shard of Soul Edge to be embedded into her body, though it wore the pirate off to the extent where Taki was able to kill him. Taki then took to treating Sophitia's wounds and removing the sharks in her body before dropping her to her own family while Taki took to departing to Japan.
    • This, however, was not the end of Soul Edge, and things would take a turn for the worse. A being known as Nightmare emerged and used Soul Edge to carve a way of carnage and destruction. Around the same time, Sophitia bore two children with Rothion; Pyrrha and Patroklos. She still took to reentering the battlefield to combat the Azure Knight, though her younger sister, Cassandra, also decided to enter the battle to reach Soul Edge and Soul Calibur, at one point, stealing the Omega Sword and Elk Shield to prevent Sophitia from taking another burden in protecting the world and doing it herself. Regardless, Sophitia would venture out regardless, but things took a turn for the worst when Tira kidnapped her daughter, Pyrrha and subjected her to Soul Edge's influence. Blackmailed and left with little choice, Sophitia was pressured into siding with Nightmare's forces to ensure Pyrrha's safety. Siegfried eventually managed to slay Nightmare, but destroying the source of Soul Edge also ended up killing Pyrrha, after which Sophitia decided to use up the remaining shards of Soul Edge in her body to resurrect her daughter at the cost of her own life.
  • However, in a new timeline, it seems as if fate is now playing with events more differently. Though Sophitia is destined to conceive a child at some point, it still not going to stop her from fulfilling her duty to serve her gods and to save the world from Nightmare and Soul Edge. That said, Cassandra had become far more aware of the events that are to happen in the old timeline and has become far more assertive in preventing her family's tragedy from happening again.
    • Incidentally, these events also attracted the attention of the Greek Gods and, by extension, the Trope Pantheons. They took heed to the destructive nature and conclusion of the old timeline and recognized that the warriors in the new timeline are determined to make it different this time. With Sophitia being one of the most staunch and enduring of the cast, she was among the first to be properly recognized and given a place in the Pantheon. Though she was technically yet to become a mother, her actions in the old timeline were still displays of incredible valour and familial love and it was certain that her new timeline version will retain those traits. Hence, Sophitia was crowned to represent mothers who will enter the battlefield if it means protecting or proving herself worthy for her children, courtesy of Hephaestus. And such a position was one of the most honoured to be given, especially for someone like Sophitia.
  • As befitting of her position, Sophitia is one of the most respected and beloved residents of the House of Family, with many being eager to talk and learn some combat techniques and wisdom from her. She is willing to give them the advice and practice necessary, though she's not willing to want too much praise from her fans and admirers, only stating that she did what she did because it was a divine duty.
  • A devout believer of the ancient Greek Pantheon, it's a common sight to see Sophitia take visitations to the House of Religion and Faith, where she would offer her prayers and make contact with the very gods that she worships. Unsurprisingly, Hephaestus expresses outright admiration and respect for her, seeing Sophitia as a being that represents the best of her kind and religion, both by personality and by her prowess and determination. Even Zeus expresses some respect for her and is one of the few women that the King of the Gods will not act like a jerk towards, let alone make incredibly questionable moves and actions towards. Still, she's not exactly happy with how Zeus has done some unforgiving deeds and that there's still a lot to do before he can properly earn her approval. Zeus is sure to remedy that at some point and does acknowledge that the gravitas of his actions means that his redemption is indeed a long road.

Here is my formal proposal for the Quintessons:

The Quintessons: Godly Kangaroo Court

I suggest the Quintessons for Kangaroo Court because they frequently put anything non-Quintesson living thing they find on trial for some contrived reason and the trials follow no logical process. Even if you are declared innocent, the Quintessons kill you anyway by feeding you to robotic sharks called Sharkticons. This always happens.

I agree and feel we shouldn't have tropeless titles in Meals if we aren't doing so anywhere else. But I don't think we should just throw the gods out entirely, and instead consider reworking them for actual tropes

At least three months has taken place since the event, and four since her death, so I think it's OK to propose this in full. What do you think?

  • Perpetua, Goddess of Near-Almighty Beings: Perpetua is a Cosmic Entity who was responsible for the creation of the DC Multiverse, and she is the mother of the Monitor, Anti-Monitor and World Forger. However she's not God, and is more of a a Demiurge who was subordinate to the Source and was judged. She's driven by the desire to never die and modify the multiverse as a weapon against her rivals

Yeah, I'm not siding with this purge of tropeless titles if it means we're just going to force the profiles to stay by giving them tropes that would probably better serve new deities.

FTR, there was once a God of Volleyball in the House of Sports. Volleyball doesn't have its own Useful Notes page, even though other sports like Football and Basketball do, so that's something to consider. Either way, the profile got deleted because it was overall poorly made.

@Wootz - Now that you've mentioned it, one can go ahead and make a Volleyball-based trope. Though that depends on the fact that there needs to be someone here who's knowledgeable about the game.

Also, I do side with you on keeping the profiles, though at this point, it's best to see who is up for the challenge to rework those.

@RJ - Give it until either the 5th of March or April before Perpetua (or anyone with a notable role in Dark Nights: Death Metal) can either be worked on or reworked.

Group Profile Nomination Time...

P.S. - Not in the rush to do them. I'm more likely to do these after a month (I have end of year assessments in April).

  • Miguel Diaz, Robby Keene, Sam LaRusso, Hawk, Demetri and Tory Nichols - Rival Dojos
    • The entire premise of the show is based around on Cobra Kai, Miyagi-Do Karate and their budding rivalry/enmity towards one another over the course of it. Beyond just the philosophical and combat-based teachings that the dojos embody, some of the members also have personal reasons to butt heads against one another, such as Miguel and Robby fighting over their feelings towards Sam, Hawk and Eli being former friends when one of them begins to ostracize the other and Tory developing a vendetta against Sam for envious and petty reasons.
  • The Nijigasaki High School Idol Club - Image Song
    • While Image Songs are frequent in the Love Live! franchise, the Nijigasaki club places far more emphasis on them than either Muse of Aqours. This also plays onto the fact that the Nijigasaki Club tend to act more independent per member and sub-unit and the Image Songs are frequently used to musically describe each member of the band.
  • The Arachnos Patrons - Dragon with an Agenda
    • The Patrons (Ghost Widow, Captain Mako, Scirocco and Black Scorpion) are Lord Recluse's top lieutenants and lead their own factions of Arachnos forces. However, all of them secretly have plans that deviate from what Arachnos and Lord Recluse desire and these stem from personal reasons (Ghost Widow wants to be revived and be reunited with her fiance and Scirocco desperately wants to be a hero again) or want to take over Arachnos (Captain Mak wants to kill Lord Recluse by awakening an ancient sea monster whereas Black Scorpion wants to sabotage Arachnos's security so that he seems to be the only one who's doing an adequate job for the organization).

[down][down] Don't worry, I can wait until April.

Cobra Bubbles, God of Embarrassing Last Names

  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Badass Baritone and Scary Black Man Still With The Surname Bubbles (And First Name Cobra), Bald Of Awesome, Brutal Honesty, Was An Antagonist, But Just Doing His Job, Sympathetic, If Not All That Friendly, The Men in Black, Reasonable Authority Figure
  • Domains: The CIA, Social Workers, Intimidation, Investigation, Extraterrestrials
  • Herald: Shush/Experiment 324note
  • Keeping tabs on: Jumba's Experiments, any extraterrestrial activity in Hawaii, Necrozma, The Ultra Beasts, the Extraterrestrials house (especially) Roger the Alien
  • Allies: Lilo and Sitch, Agent K and Agent J, Conrad S Hauser and Snake Eyes, Mary Poppins and the rest of the Heroic Protectors Of Family, The Blorg Community, The Silencerz, the Grand United Alliance of Good
  • Headbutting Heroes with: Stan Smith and Avery Bullock
  • Enemies: Hamsterviel, Boris the Animal, Cobra Commander, Destro and the Baroness, Zim, evil and invasive aliens in general, The Child Abuse Supporters
  • Opposes: Abusive Parents on principle
  • Uncertain on: The SCP Foundation
  • Cobra Bubbles is a stern social worker and supposedly former CIA agent concerned with Lilo and Nani's relationship. While gruff and not all that friendly, he means well for her. However it's not just family environments he has to worry about, what with the arrival of the alien Stitch. Having had experience with extraterrestrials in the past, and secretly a member of a Men In Black-type organization, he becomes an important player in the strange alien occurrences in Hawaii.
  • Yes, his surname is "Bubbles". He admits it's kind of embarrassing, which is why he prefers to only be referred by his first name of Cobra. This doesn't stop him from being badass. The dude was able to convince an invading alien force to spare Earth by lying and saying that insects were an endangered species. Cobra's skill in defending the Earth shows he's a brilliant operator, and a strong asset to the GUAG.
  • If you want to be more specific on the time he saved the world, it's because he convinced them mosquitos were endangered. The fact he made such a bold-faced lie and convinced them is all the more impressive. This happened in Roswell, though in 1973 rather than 1947. However he did end up finding Bender's head buried in the ground from the incident. Having been informed of the time traveling of that Roswell incident, he let Bender's head continue his rest in the ground to avoid a nasty time paradox.
  • It's not known if the organization he works for is literally the Men in Black, but in the pantheon they are for all intents and purposes. He's keeping tabs on the House of Extraterrestrials for them. Naturally this makes him an enemy of any hostile alien, and this also includes Zim. He's not an idiot and sees past his Paper-Thin Disguise, nor does he think that "because Zim's an idiot, he doesn't pose a threat to mankind" because he's seen evidence that he can be.
  • Due to his role in extraterrestrial phenomenon and First Contact scenarios, Cobra is also working alongside the Silencerz, who are another top-secret US government that's capable of combating hostile aliens. He is also working with the Blorg Community to expand humanity's reach and eye in case of alien threats.
  • Much of Cobra Bubbles' attention in matters of the extraterrestrial are on Hawaii. By extension, this includes Alola. As such, he is on full alert when it comes to the Ultra Beasts, and especially Necrozma after their invasion there. Fortunately Necrozma has found its one true place with Nebby and the unascended Gen VII protagonist, however it still posed a threat only comparable to Jumba's greatest experiments.
  • Though he didn't have enough connections to make Shush a god, he was able to make him his herald. For those in the know, Shush was one of Jumba's experiments meant for eavesdropping. Now he's an espionage agent for the CIA, which Cobra actually still works with. He wasn't exactly pleased to learn that Avery Bullock and Stan Smith have maintained their job, however when not goofing around or distracted by their own emotions they can be surprisingly effective. He's willing to work with them, but wishes they could be more competent and often plays the Straight Man to their wacky antics.
  • He is keeping watch out for Stan because he makes sure Roger doesn't misbehave too much. Of course, he can't let Stan know he knows about Roger being an alien. On Roger, he has made it clear to him he is watching and the moment he proves himself a significant enough threat to the safety of the human race, he will tell every CIA operative of his alien nature. Any attempts Roger made at intimidating Cobra failed and has made it a point that he has tangled with worse.
    • As part of his connections to the CIA, he is an enemy of Cobra and an ally of the G.I Joes.
  • Cobra still takes his job as a social worker seriously, and as such he makes frequent visits to the House of Family, especially the Family Dysfunctions wing. Immediately he was enraged by the Child Abuse Supporters and has sworn to bring them to justice, along with destroying their faction. To start with, he's buffed support for the Heroic Protectors of Family and made it clear he's watching any abusive parent in the pantheon. Among the Heroic Protectors of Family he works the closest with Mary Poppins.
  • Cobra Bubbles might have some connection to the SCP Foundation given their closeness to the Men in Black. He's not confirming or denying that, but he does admit he is researching the extraterrestrial SCPs. So far he's only really keeping checks on SCP-1171-1. Though racist, Beauremont is a non-issue.

Jacob Luke "Jake" Long, God of Were-Dragons (The American Dragon)

Click here for his dragon form
  • Houses: Dragons (House of Beast), Transformations (House of Shape)
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: A gong with his human shadow imposed on a dragon shadow
  • Theme Song: The American Dragon intro theme songs (both Season 1 and 2)
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Weredragon through Dragon Ancestry, The Hero (Knight in Sour Armor and Pragmatic Hero type), Cocky, Shirks Responsibilities But Noble And Heroic, Heroic Red Dragons, Half-Caucasian, Half-Chinese, Big Eater, Beware the Nice Ones, Protagonist Title
  • Domains: Dragons, Heroism, Teenagers, Shapeshifters
  • Allies: Lilo and Stitch, Spyro the Dragon, Harry Potter, Io, Bahamut, Crossbreed Priscilla, Ryu(Breath of Fire), Peter Parker/Spider Man
  • On good terms with: Benevolent members of the House of Otherness, most dragons really
  • Friendly Rival: Danny Phantom
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Daenerys Targaryen (enemies with TV incarnation), The Dovahkiin
  • Enemies: Acnologia, dragon hunters in general, Tiamat, Ripto, The Sorceress, Melkor, Smaug, Aerys II Targaryen, Voldemort, Kaido
  • Jake Long is an at first unassuming Chinese-American teenager living in New York. In truth, he's a fire-breathing dragon who's job is to protect a secret world of magical creatures. The first American Dragon, he is said to be The Chosen One, though as a slacker teen he has a lot to learn. He gets it from his mom and her father. Normally he's in human form, but can transfer into a dragon.
  • The Weredragon trope was considered for Acnologia, however Jake decried this choice since Acnologia is a depraved beast who despises dragon and human alike. The fact that he hunts dragons only increased the American Dragon's ire towards him. It was Lilo and Stitch who ultimately proposed he gets the trope, as they had teamed up to deal with Morpholomew/Experiment 316.
  • Jake's ascension was a boon to the Otherness house, due to his role in guarding and protecting the magical creatures of an unseen world, though it remains taxing on his school life. Harry Potter has helped fill in some of his time protecting the magical world so he doesn't exhaust himself. Jake's travels eventually led him to meet another New York superhero, Peter Parker, who can relate to the stress of his role as Dragon Guardian given his own bad luck and responsibilities being a superhero.
  • The American Dragon wasn't happy to learn there were a number of fantastic racists who would want to see him dead. Ripto hates dragons in general, even ones with a human form. Voldemort considers Jake Long both a muggleborn and a "filthy half-breed". None of them revolted Jake as much as the Sorceress, who's plan of becoming immortal involves ripping off the wings of baby dragons. He is also an enemy of Kaido, due to being a Weredragon who's desire to spark the biggest war the world has ever seen is insane.
  • Jake is against dragon hunters by principle, and hopes the wish to destroy them all will mean the Huntsclan won't enter the pantheon. However he makes an exception for the Dovahkiin, at least to a degree. Despite his memetic hatred of dragons, the Dovahkiin only goes after malicious dragons and not ones outside the The Elder Scrolls verse as he doesn't have the same dreaded factor. He does have bad experiences with dragons as a whole so he only works with Jake to counter-act evil dragons. He'll be there if and/or when the Dark Dragon arrives.
  • As nobody knows where said Dark Dragon comes from, Jake wondered if he was a pupil of Melkor. Melkor claimed he was behind his turn to darkness, which was believable, but eventually his vanity led him to boast he is the progenitor of all dragons and that he is Jake's rightful ruler. Io stepped in and informed that other than possibly having a role in the Dark Dragon he's full of it. Jake naturally opposes someone as malignant as the first Dark Lord, and came to recognize Io as the true progenitor of dragons. He and Bahamut were proud to see Jake managed to make it to the pantheon.
  • There were a number of evil dragons like Tiamat or Smaug that Jake considers a threat to the magical world, however there are more benevolent, neutral or less bad dragons who considered him a great addition to their sub-house. Even Bowser was pleased, and in spite of sometimes fighting Jake Long when he uses magic for evil purposes like kidnapping the Sprixies they sometimes work together, especially when someone proves Eviler than Thou. Jake's a more straight ally with Spyro the Dragon.
  • His Dragon Ancestry was a point of interest for the Targaryens. Jake theorizes that their association with dragons and unique royal abilities are because Valyrians have actual dragons in their family tree. He wasn't happy around the likes of the Mad King Aerys, who in his delusions believed that burning down King's Landing with wildfire would have him reborn as a dragon. His daughter Daenerys was more level-headed and impressed by Jake, however the American Dragon is careful with her as while she has good intentions she can be...ruthless. Her TV incarnation's Face–Heel Turn has made that version an enemy of Jake Long.
  • He and Danny Phantom are rivals, albiet friendly ones. Other gods have noticed the comparisons: they're half-otherworldly beings who can shapeshift to that form, teenage superheroes and they help deal with supernatural/otherworldly threats. A simulation was made to determine in a no holds-bar fight who'd win. The simulation concluded Danny would make the winning strategy of overshadowing Jake and blasting him into a ghost.
  • Jake would rather not mention the time his grandfather wanted to hook him up with a younger version of his mom when he time traveled back to 1986. Marty McFly and Philip J Fry said that "it could've gone worse". He got Marty, but when taking a look at Fry's trope he felt a bit queasy and reaffirmed not wanting to mention said incident.
  • —>"He's cool he's hot like a frozen sun. He's young, he's fast, he's the chosen one."
