Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Anything else for this? Am I missing something with Breloom and Shiinotic?

  • Interests: Pamela Isley, Alec Holland (all of them), Beelzebub (Beelzebub)
  • Allies(as a whole): Ash Ketchum, Mario, Luigi and the Mario Kingdom (especially the Toads)
  • On good terms with: The Goombas, the Bloom and Doom Seed Co Plants (as a whole)
  • Rivals: The Pirahna Plants, Audrey II (Amoonguss)
  • Enemies(as a whole): Team Rainbow Rocket, Pokemon Hunter J, violent pyromancers, The Shroobs
  • Opposes: The Fire and Heat, Ice and Cold and Birds sub-house, the Hag (the lot), psychic gods (Breloom and Amoonguss), the Toxicity and Metal and Minerals sub-houses (Shiinotic)
  • Opposed by: Wirt and Greg (Amoonguss and Shiinotic), its own House of Plants (Parasect)
  • On poor terms with: Toothiana (Shiinotic)
  • Wary of: Bowser (the lot), The Reaper (Amoonguss)
  • In the world of Pokémon, there are four lines of mushroom-based Grass types. Despite mushrooms belonging to a different phylum from plants, they are still considered such by Pokemon's elemental systems. They are the only Pokemon who naturally have access to Spore, a 100% accuracy status move that inflicts sleep.
  • Applies to all of them
    • The four mushroom Pokemon are considered oddities of the House of Plants since as mentioned they shouldn't be considered plants, yet manage to be both that and fungi. Of course there are plenty of plant-animal combos so they aren't total anomalies. Swamp Thing and Poison Ivy were interested in them because as they are both plant and fungi, they have ties to both the Green and the fungi-based Grey. This could make them an asset to the different natural kingdoms were they motivated enough.
    • The lot were immediately interested in the Mushroom Kingdom and its inhabitants, being mushroom creatures. They were impressed by the heroism of Mario and Luigi, and felt at home with the Toads who welcomed them as members of the House of Plants despite some other deities declaring "they're fungi so they shouldn't count". They prefer to stay away from Bowser given his villainous reputation, though don't have any hard feelings against him and they tend to get along with the Goombas in general.
    • Given their amicable relationship with the Toads and not being incredibly evil, the fungal Pokemon hate and fear the Shroobs. None of them are fond of the Hag for that matter, whose experiments with an odd mushroom corrupted the Weald's inhabitants into horrific fungal monstrosities. They are on good terms with the Bloom and Doom Seed Co Plants, who have a bunch of mushrooms in their line up.
    • All of them share an aversion to Fire type moves, with Parasect taking it especially badly. Along with the usual suspects of Team Rainbow Rocket and Pokemon Hunter J, any violent fire wielder is on their hit list. None of them are fond of birds or cryomancers due to it being a shared weakness. Individually Breloom and Amoongus dislike psychic deities and Shiinotic takes special offense for both poison and metal deities.
  • Applies to Parasect
    • The Bug/Grass Parasect is the creepiest of the four mushroom Pokemon and the most tragic being based on the cordecyps. As a Paras it had a mind-controlling fungus planted on it, taking control as a Parasect. Joel and Ellie express a lot of sympathy for Parasect, given the fact that he's a husk of a bug controlled by fungi, much like most of humanity in their own world. They have decided to make Parasect their partner in order to give the poor thing the love it needs
    • It is unknown how much of the insect is left, but the Mario brothers really hope it isn't suffering. Parasect is more the mushroom than anything, who's known to infest large trees en masse and drain nutrients from the lower trunk and roots. When an infested tree dies, they move onto another tree all at once. As such nobody in the House of Plants was happy to see it return to the pantheon. Though not evil, Treebeard takes personal offense by its infective nature.
    • Parasect's relationship with Chaac is a beneficial one, as it helps his mushroom—who is pretty much the personality now instead of the bug—grow better in the rain and help against his weakness to fire. Some gods have made comparisons between Parasect and Headcrabs, another crab-like creature who happen to be parasites themselves. However only the Radiance cares enough to exploit Parasect, hoping to use its insect-fungus connection in order to spread her control to flora.
    • Being effectively possessed by the mushroom, whatever's left of the bug half of Parasect has an ax to grind towards Pazuzu due to being a possessor. It stays neutral on Beelzebub, however the Lord of the Flies demonstrates a lot more interest on the Pokemon; the fungus' nature of infesting and spreading intrigues a being such as Beelzebub, as flies are want to spread and infest where they please. He considers its squickier traits pleasant.
  • Applies to Breloom
    • Breloom started as a simple puffball/earth star Pokemon known as Shroomish, however evolved into the Grass/Fighting Breloom. It may not look like it, but he has stretchy arms that it can use like boxing gloves. The humanoid mushroom was interested in Little Mac because he's an expert boxer, and the green boxing gloves fit Breloom. That said, when not stretching them out the boxing gloves look rather silly on the Mushroom Man.
    • Breloom is one of a handful of Pokemon with Poison Heal as a possible ability, which it has in the pantheon. As such it will be healed by poisoning instead of harmed. So when seeing toxic deities as completely reprehensible as the Yellow Bastard Breloom can strike them down with a punch, and allows him to oppose the likes of Hexxus more than most Grass types...though poison attacks still hurt him like they would other Breloom.
    • His ability makes Salazzle's Toxic useful for him, and allows him to be more powerful alongside Toxie...just as long as they don't physically use poisonous attacks on him. It also aids him alongside Coco. Breloom is also an ally to the Roger Family, as it takes a lot of traits of a kangaroo and is a bit of a boxer itself.
  • Applies to Amoonguss
    • Amoonguss ascended because people assumed it was a Pokeball, only to attack someone who checked. She (yes, she) isn't sure why because she's 2 feet tall, but as very few Pokemon are fooled by the disguise she was just glad people were fooled for once. She was oddly fond of MacMillian due to his use of hiding himself as Mobile Shrubbery, as she hides by looking like a valuable object.
    • Amoonguss tends to keep to herself, wanting to keep the illusion of being a Pokeball to catch prey. She likes to hang out with Whispy Woods, a tree who like herself isn't that mobile and allows her to blend in better. Wirt and Greg's experience in the forest have them wary of the mushroom as Amoonguss has a distinctly predatory reason for looking like a Pokeball. She notices her Chest Monster traits are similar to Lesser Kraeken known as Mimku, though they have different environments so don't interact much.
    • She waits for prey to come close enough to her, and has come to blame both Audrey II and the Pirahna Plants for stealing potential food from her. Amoonguss is also aware of the official Chest Monster, Reaper, but considers him scary. She doesn't like it when trolls keep comparing her to the Crewmates and calling her Amogus or Sus. The Crewmates treat Amoonguss with mild suspicion given her aggressive mimicry reminds them of the Imposter, but she's not interested in eating humans or whatever they are.
  • Applies to Shiinotic
    • Forests where Shiinotic live are treacherous to enter at night. People confused by its strange lights can never find their way home again. It is the most ominous of the mushroom Pokemon, and is regarded as more sinister by Wirt and Greg than Amoonguss who is simply a predator. The Dreams sub-house is keeping watch over the Illumination Pokemon as when it gets its prey sleeping with its spores, it will drain them with its Creepy Long Fingers...well roots, but they have the same effect.
    • Shiinotic is one of the fey, which is part of the line's creepiness. However most fairies tend to stay away from her. Toothina, who works in the night, considers her kind of creepy and may be troublesome for her job as the tooth fairy. The Illumination Pokemon was more welcome in the court of Oberon and Titania, where she works to guide visitors with her Illuminate ability. Titania has made Shiinotic her partner in order to keep her in check and behave in the pantheon.
    • Chanticleer is interested in Shiinotic's bioluminescence as a light for those that need it during the night time. Both the Grand Duke of Owls and Chernabog consider the light of Shiinotic to be very frustrating for their own darkness-oriented goals.

Acerola, Goddess of Cat Smiles

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/acerola_pokemon.png
  • House: Mouths (House of Personal Appearance)
  • Adopted from: TPPR 10
  • Demigoddess
  • Symbol: Her Trial Captain medallion (used as a hair clip), and her bracelet
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Ghost-type Specialist, Cheerful Child, Bloodline from the Former Alolan Royals, Perky Goth, Purple Is Powerful, One of Youngest Trial Captains And The Youngest Elite Four Member
  • Domains: Ghosts, Royals, Appearance
  • Pokemon team: Sableye/Banette, Drifblim, Dhelmise, Froslass, Palossand (games), Mimikins the Mimikyu, Shuppet, Greedy Rapooh the Gengar (the anime)
  • Interested in: The Flying Dutchman, Peeves
  • Allies: Ash Ketchum, Lillie, Casper, Rotom, Danny Fenton, Mimikyu, Palossand, Sableye, Sara Crew, Anne-Marie, Bunnicula, Lilo and Stitch, Koume Shirasaka
  • Enemies: Team Rainbow Rocket, Ragyo Kiryuin Dark Danny, Joffrey Baratheon, Freddy Krueger, Pennywise, Lord English
  • Wary of: The Ultra Beasts, Bloody Marie, The Ghostbusters
  • Unlike most regions, the Alola region has Trial Captains. The Ghost-type Captain and eventual member of the Alolan Elite 4 is Acerola. She is an orphan living in Aether House, being a remnant from the original Alolan royalty. Despite her type choice, she is a Cheerful Child.
  • Acerola is a rather cute Trial Captain, and the cuteness is enhanced by her Cat Smile. This eventually led to her ascension, where she joined a wide variety of gods in her new sub-house. Some like Chaugner Faugun and Himiko Toga frightened her, however she was able to get along with Bunnicula. Despite his spooky vampirism, he's a friendly rabbit and got along with the Perky Goth.
  • When she ascended she was somewhat concerned with the Ultra Beasts appearing, and wondered if Lusamine had also ascended and had an involvement. This eventually led her to find Guzma and Ragyo Kiryuin, the latter of which takes notes from Lusamine. While Guzma has somewhat reformed and apologized for Team Skull kidnapping her, Ragyo proves far worse than Lusamine ever was.
  • She looked for Drifblim in the pantheon, only to be informed that it had left. As the balloon, Froslass and Dhelmise are not up, so she is limited to having the ones she owns as her heralds. The Dhelmise caught the Flying Dutchman's interest. Acerola was similarly interested in him. She isn't too spooked by the Flying Dutchman and isn't above giving him advice on scaring people. Just as long as no-one is harmed.
  • Pennywise attempted to lure Acerola by coloring his balloons yellow and disgusing them as shiny Drifloon, hoping it would attract her. Fortunately this backfried as while she is fond of Ghost type Pokemon, she knows they have a habit of trying to allure children to kidnap them. She is very much horrified by the evil clown, but does wonder if the Deadlights may be a hint as to what exactly lurks underneath Mimikyu's disguise.
  • There were some members of Acerola's team who had their species represented, namely Sableye and Palossand. She also has a Mimikyu, who is both a shiny called Mimikins and a ghost of a dead Mimikyu. Still friendlier than Jessie's. The Ghosts sub-house is still trying to figure out how the ghost of a ghost Pokemon works. They're also trying to figure out how Acerola is at least 12.
  • Capable of communicating with Ghost type Pokemon. In the pantheon this includes other ghosts. She has spent some time in the Ghosts sub-house getting to know its residents better, and once in a while challenging the Ghostbusters to a Pokemon battle when they make the mistake of vacuuming a spirit she's hanging out with. Acerola assumed that Peeves was also a ghost, but he's stated he's something else. This made her curious about his "anatomy" as an amortal being.
  • Acerola fears a few ghosts, but two stand out as particularly horrifying to her; Freddy Krueger and Dark Danny. Krueger's preferred target is her age range, and both are depraved psychopaths. In desperation she closed her eyes and had Mimikins expose her true appearance, but as they were already deadnote  it was merely unpleasant. Fortunately Danny Fenton came in to save her.
  • As Mimikins is the ghost of a Ghost type Pokemon, she can be considered "double-dead". This makes her one of the few beings that Lord English can't outright kill, which enrages her in part because she may know what, if anything, happens to ghosts he kills. Naturally there are an abundance of reasons for Acerola to despise Lord English. It is thought that Beerus could still Hakai Mimikins out of existence, but he's in no mood to doll out something he usually reserves to people who deserve it or or if absolutely needed.
  • They don't creep her out as badly, but Acerola keeps her distance from Kayako and Sadako. She prefers to hang out with the friendlier and merely mischievous Ghosts like Danny, Casper and Yuyuko. She finds Youmu Konpaku being half-human, half-ghost to be rather perplexing, and wonders if this might be what a possible Ghost/Normal type combination would be like.
  • Much like Sara Crewe, Acerola is an Impoverished Patrician. However, that doesn't stop either of them from helping out. It's unknown when the Alolan royalty died out but if it's anything like the Hawaiian royalty, it happened a while ago. Acerola doesn't spend much time in the House of Royalty, and she was particularly infuriated that Joffrey Baratheon was allowed entry. They're basically opposites; Acerola is a royal stripped of its power yet a kind and friendly girl. Joffrey meanwhile is someone who never had to struggle in his life and was given power, and proves to be a self-centered psychopath.
  • As the region of Alola is based on Hawaii, she was curious about its Disney counterpart after hearing about the Pokemon-like experiments. She found herself liking Lilo, who like herself is an orphan and kind of creepy yet a good person. Acerola is interested in Spooky/Experiment 300 due to its ability to transform in whatever people fear. Acerola is also friendly with Koume Shirasaka, who loves anything horror related and has the ascended Mimikyu as a partner.

I remember once Upon a time I wanted to make a Profile for Shinryu's great rival throughout multiple games, Omega, But its hard to nail down a trope that hasnt already been snatched. Is there a trope that is about hunting down or chasing others throughout multiple worlds or continuities?

So far I had considered giving him The World as Myth or even Cannot Tell Fiction from Reality based on his FFXIV incarnation (which is also implied to be the original from FFV), but something that could apply to all version of Omega might fit best.

So, my April Fool's profile might've been for April Fools, but I sincerely hope I can find a suitable trope for Max Owen. It's not often you see a trans male MG.

Since Dark Souls has its profile links split in folders, should we feel free to do the same with the other pages like Pokémon and Disney?

I wasn't sure how to put it out, so I'm suggesting it here. Would this make for an okay "organization"? Or is it better off as a private catalog?

Avatars of (Insert Name Here)

As it is known, since (Insert Name Here) is often a stand-in for many a Player Character, they have ''a lot' of representatives that have since ascended to the Pantheon. Technically, given how varied INH can be, this is less an organization and more of a comprehensive list of all their known avatars.

Leaders Anonymous

By virtue of being the most variable and least detailed, these two take the "lead".

Former Avatars

Those here used to be blank slate stand-ins for INH before eventually getting distinct identities of their own via adaptations or sequels, starting with a name, and then distinct preferences. Those who have an established canon name merely acknowledged by the creators don't count for this.

Complete Selves

If any part of their later character (via future games, manga, etc.) can contradict a player's playthrough of them, they count for this list.

Pseudo-Complete Selves

Due to various endings available to them, they're between those above and those without names since they can still have distinct inclinations to certain things.

Named Stand-Ins

The only thing that keeps them from being in the below sub-group is the fact that they have canon names beyond name selection.

The Blank-ish Slates

(unsure so far on what to type)

The Neutral

The Baddies

The Buddies

  • Complicated Relationship: Catra, The Diamond Authority.
  • Oppose: Rau Le Creuset, YHVH.
  • Opposed by: Shadow Weaver
  • Interested in:
  • Hordak and Entrapta are an odd pair, both came from completely different backgrounds, with Hordak being a defective and abandoned clone of Horde Prime, Lord of the Known Universe and Entrapta was a princess raised by robots in the mechanical-oriented Kingdom of Dryl. Both met when Entrapta defected to the Horde out of interest in their mechanical creations and believing that the other princesses in the Alliance left her because they didn't like her; at first Entrapta was forbidden from entering Hordak's sanctum but when she proved her intellect and skill by repairing many flaws in it, Hordak began to warm up to her eventually falling in love with her, as did Entrapta in return.
    • Unfortunately, both were separated when Catra banished Entrapta for trying to stop Hordak from opening a portal that could endanger reality itself simply because she wanted to win and be appreciated for once. Later Hordak was mind-wiped by Horde Prime when the latter arrived on Etheria but despite that, Hordak's feelings persisted eventually allowing him to defy Prime and kill his main body when the latter tried to get him to kill Entrapta as a show of loyalty which ended in Prime performing a Body Surf to Hordak's body to finish the job of taking over the Heart of Etheria, luckily when Adora/She-Ra freed Hordak from Horde Prime's spirit, the former was able to show his inner goodness and reconciliated with Adora as he had saved her life when she was a baby and allowing him to happily reunite with Entrapta for good.
  • Both were ascended after the defeat of Horde Prime, since what status their relationship ended in was left pretty ambiguous, while some sources have said that they have upgraded to a full item, neither of them has clarified whether they've done so or not. Nonetheless, their romantic attraction is very, very obvious and pretty much all who know them can see that they're in love with one another. As for what they're doing in the mortal world to atone for their actions, Adora and Catra have told their allies that Hordak and Entrapta are currently helping clean up the mechanical messes and mosntrosities on Beast Island, bonding more along the way.
  • Upon ascension they found themselves reunited with Adora and Catra. While Hordak and Adora's enmity has ended thanks to Adora and Hordak remembering the day that Hordak saved her as a baby and Adora saving Hordak from Horde Prime in return, Catra is still on iffy terms with Hordak. That said they've began opening up about their trauma to each other, and have even began to understand their respective issues and form a connection over them, that Entrapta has forgiven Catra is also another factor into the two mending fences eventually.
    • Adam/He-Man was at first in pure disbelief from seeing the two as a redeemed couple, given that the two usually aren't good guys let alone in love with one another, regardless he made allies with them once he got to know them personally, even appreciating that Hordak proved that he was never destined for evil.
  • Upon ascending they weren't happy at all to see Horde Prime back to life, remembering the pain and suffering they went through due to his actions, especially Hordak as Prime's abuse of his clone is the prime cause of all his emotional turmoil and problems as well as nearly forcing him to kill Entrapta to prove Hordak's loyalty to him, only for Hordak to refuse to follow his creator's orders anymore and kill his main body afterwards. Prime himself returns the sentiment, hoping to kill both in the most painful way he can think of once he gets the chance.
  • Since both opposed a great space empire, despite at some point being a part of it they earned enemies in those who lead or are members of an evil empire, especially the Galactic Empire and its leadership: Emperor Palpatine and Grand Moff Tarkin, both being sadistic evil masterminds who treated clones they employed as armies with utter disdain despite their years of service, and anyone who worked for them in general. Palpatine especially got this as he deprived the Clone Troopers of their free will to kill the Jedi, including those who were friends and then leaving those who didn't follow him afterwards to rot in the streets, which reminded Hordak of how Prime would often suppress his free will and left him to die for his "defect".
  • Due to both getting a form of redemption through love started by a mutual understanding and respect of one another and their issues, they got allies who had similar developments: among them were Rose Quartz and Greg Universe, since Greg was just a normal Earth musician who fell in love with Rose Quartz, a former member of the Diamond Authority when she was known as Pink Diamond, and leader of the Crystal Gems, with both learning many valuable things from the other. In turn, both had an uneasy meeting with the Diamond Authority, whose previous actions reminded them of Horde Prime's own, including White Diamond's Mind Rape which she used to do to those she felt were too rebellious or imperfect for her standards, while they've reformed ever since Hordak still feels uneasy about approaching them and as such keeps his distance of them, though Entrapta has not as much of an issue with them herself.
  • Due to their experiences against Horde Prime, they loathe all who wish to suppress free will no matter what the reason is, chief among those enemies was Darkseid, the Dark Lord of Apokolips being infamous for his ultimate goal of achieving control over all other living beings through the Anti-Life Equation; his partner, Lucemon, also earned that hatred for having similar goals and assisting Darkseid's own. Big Brother and The IT also earned their scorn for their opposition to free will and thought, given that Hordak and Entrapta both had to go through a lot of pain to be allowed to live as they wanted to, Galeem who imprisons others to put the world at a standstill "order" was also one of many others to join the ranks of enemies of Hordak and Entrapta. And finally there's YHVH, whose ultimate goal is absolute order and control over existence not unlike Darkseid, which has secured the evil God's place in the list of beings loathed the most by the duo.
    • Those who rebelled against authorities to be free or out of love earned Hordak and Entrapta's friendship, on the other hand; among these were Angel an experiment of Juba who stopped doing evil out of love for Stitch, Peridot a former Homeworld Gem who eventually rebelled against the Diamond Authority and helped the Crystal Gems in toppling the Gempire to live free of the oppressive system. Others included Jake Sully and Zuko who defected against more colonialist authorities because it was the right thing to do, Hordak's past as a conqueror initially led to some friction, but Zuko bonded with Hordak over their abusive parents and Sully did over falling in love with one of the would-be victims of his former faction, as such the most of the friction has fizzled out as time passed.
  • While they're sympathetic to clones in the Pantheon, they have their limits on which clones their sympathy extends to, one who didn't have such privilege was Rau Le Creuset, who in spite of his problems as a clone and insecurities has decided to use it as an excuse to harm others all on his own and prefers to spitefully kill everyone, even those not involved in his tragic past. While Hordak himself did used to be a conqueror, he never quite used his clone status as a way to harm others, even letting Entrapta know about it once he trusted her enough, furthermore he would never think of spitefully wanting all other living beings dead. As such both Entrapta and Hordak prefer not to associate with Creuset and instead oppose any and all plans he makes.
  • Shadow Weaver opposes both heavily, as she lost her position in part due to Entrapta's recruitment making Hordak see Weaver as inept, and Hordak for being the leader of the Horde she initially opposed and for imprisoning her. While Hordak's gotten better as a person, as has Entrapta, Weaver has not and therefore she was shocked to see no one supporting her opposition to the duo, even more when they told her that the two were better people than she ever was, she has plotted to be rid of the two one day when she becomes more powerful with magic.
  • Exclusive to Hordak:
    • In spite of all his actions as the leader of the Horde, Hordak has one major virtue that never went away: a benevolence towards his underlings as long as said underlings didn't actively hinder his operations or conspired against him, to the point that many of the former Horde soldiers were glad to take the position of heralds in Hordak's temple, still having fond memories of the friendships they made in the Horde. Many deities were perplexed by how Hordak allowed free will and his soldiers to have lives of their own without any major restrictions like Prime did, and despite Hordak claiming in the past that he viewed them as pawns, there's some who believe he was simply trying to detatch himself from his troops purely to imitate Prime but never quite believed in that mentality himself, which Hordak seems to agree with to some degree.
    • Due to his status as a clone with severe self-esteem issues due to his origins, he ended up striking an understanding with Riku Asakura/Ultraman Geed, the son/clone of Ultraman Belial who likewise had some personal issues stemming from being used as a weapon-of-sorts by his father, Ultraman Belial, not unlike how Horde Prime used Hordak like he did to his other clones. While Riku himself has some mixed feelings about Hordak due to his past as a conqueror, the shared issue of being a clone with identity problems let the two become allies in the end.
    • Since she also is a clone who has issues in regards to her identity and was able to break her programming to be more than what she was created for, Lea became an ally of Hordak when the two discussed their pasts and the things they went through during their lives and how they finally proved that they were independent people from the one person who they are a clone of with their own feelings and lives that they chose. Lea was even touched by hearing that Hordak personally tried to make sure that his inhuman creator and "brother" Horde Prime was defeated.
    • Boba Fett was another clone with independent thoughts and actions, however unlike Hordak who was considered by Prime to be a mere pawn to be used, Jango cared deeply about Boba, seeing his clone as a son, Boba felt disgusted to hear how Prime treated Hordak and offered sincere empathy to Hordak over it. While Hordak initially had some issues allying with Boba, the latter's recent takes of kinder qualities and actions have eased up how they get along, allowing the two to be allies. Another Star Wars deity he befriended was Anakin Skywalker, who like Hordak proved his turn to good by killing his former master throwing him into a deep pit to his doom, with both cases narrowly failing due to backup plans from said masters, Anakin was glad that Hordak managed to keep his Love Interest safe, unlike Anakin who killed Padme in a moment of uncontrolled anger which he regretted.
  • Exclusive to Entrapta:
    • As a mechanical genius with a knack for complex machinery and contraptions, Entrapta found an unusual ally in Fred Jones of the Mystery Gang, as Fred has an affinity and love for traps and trapping machines, Entrapta has often found herself giving him some advice on how to build more complex and powerful trapping machines for Mystery Inc to use in their many adventures and clashes with masked bad guys or even special traps to deal with the occasional real supernatural threats.
    • With her Prehensile Hair, she found an ally in Millia Rage, who is the Goddess of the trope itself, Desna was quite curious to hear that Entrapta's "magic" hair is actually a result of technological modifications that Entrapta did on herself, considering how Millia's own hair is fully magical in nature after she infused it with the Sixth Hi-Deigokutsuipou. Both have shared stories of themselves to one another, being fully interested in what the other has done in their many adventures. Other deities with prehensile hair who befriended her were Bayonetta and Jeanne, two witches who aren't evil and can weaponize their hair thanks to demonic assistance, like Millia they were intrigued by Entrapta's technologically enhanced hair, that her love interest, Hordak, was a demonic/vampiric looking creature also made them chuckle a bit, as they were reminded of some of the demons of inferno due to Hordak's appearance. Desna was another deity with prehensile hair, but unlike the others she got on Entrapta's bad graces due to her support of genocidal plans.
    • She's got a very big interest in cyborgs and robots, sometimes of the Robosexual kind. Among these cyborgs who she grew interested was Robocop, who has little of his organic body left after an accident, with the heavy machinery making up most of his body yet remaining human despite it all; Jax, who had to get cybernetic arms and other enhancements; Gigan who has scythes (and sometimes buzzaws) for hands, though the Kaiju's evil nature makes Entrapta take a more cautious approach to studying him; Finn the Human who has a bionic arm ever since he lost his temporary replacement arms; and finally Victor Stone/Cyborg, who like Robocop had to get cybernetic implants to keep him alive after a disaster that nearly took his life. Entrapta gets well along with all of them (except for Gigan) and has tried to study their technology with the others' consent, as she's learned to be more respectful of boundaries following her experiences in Etheria.

Are their any evil/bad teachers?

"Gentaro 1:1, 'My name is Gentaro Kisaragi, and I'm gonna befriend everyone in the Pantheon!'"

Gentaro Kisaragi, God of Becoming Friends With One's Foes (Gen-chan, Kisaragi, Kamen Rider Fourze, Trashiest of Trashnote , Teacher Gentaro)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/image_4939.jpeg
Kamen Rider Fourze
Cosmic States
Meteor Fusion States
Meteor Nadeshiko Fusion States
  • Is one of the few gods in the Pantheon that can easily befriend Alice. When he heard of her past from Belial and Nebiros, he cried for hours on end before going to her and hugging her. Alice was about to go for her signature Die for Me!! with Gentaro being fine with taking the attack (much to the horror of other Gods), but Belial and Nebiros intervened at the last minute, stating that the two could have tea parties every now and then...as long as Alice didn't go Die for Me!! on Gentaro.
  • Has opened the Kamen Rider Club in the academy for anyone to enter and initiation is a heart-to-heart talk before exploring the moon's surface. With his fellow Kamen Rider Club members in the House of School, its not uncommon for him to take them there, don some space suits, have a heart-to-heart chat and then end it with his handshake.
  • Gets along well with Simon for their use of drills in combat (and also because their series has the same head writer). Simon is amazed at Gentaro's Rocket Drill Kick (along with the Space Rocket Drill Kick and the Galaxy Rocket Drill Kick and has begun modifications to make the Gurren Lagann replicate the same very move. Kamina also likes him for his energy and hot-bloodedness.
    • Also gets along with Yoko and Nia, Nia especially due to her reminding him of Nadeshiko. In fact, when Nadeshiko and Nia met, everyone in the vicinity cooed at how cute they were.
  • If you're wondering this, no, he is not related to either Gunma or Jin, but that doesn't mean he won't befriend them.
  • Despite his looks, he's a softie and sad stories cause him to cry a lot. Carl Fredricksen, Vanellope Von Schweetz and several others have learned that if you have a horrible backstory (or a very sweet one), be prepared to bring in lots of tissues just for his sake. Yuki Jojima regrets bringing Gentaro to meet Rosalina and to hear her backstory as it ended with all the Lumas carrying buckets of tissues when he heard that her mother "was asleep under the hill".
    • Sae, Goddess of Crocodile Tears, tried to worm her way into being Gentaro's friend by using her tears. Unfortunately for her, Gentaro could see that she was faking it. However, after learning a bit of Sae's backstory, he decided that he'd help her out and make true friends. Sae, for the first time in her life, actually cried true Tears of Joy.
  • Gets a bit uneasy at any of the Higurashi gods. It's not because of all of the horrors they went through (although he went through a hundred boxes of tissues when he heard of the "Groundhog Day" Loop hell they suffered), but it's because of the cries of cicadas they carry on them, and he's afraid of cicadas. Doesn't help that they're in the Pantheon now...
  • Once entered the House of Personal Appearance and was shocked to see his good friend, Yuki there. Turns out he mistook Touka Kirishima for her, due to the fact that they looked pretty similar.
  • Izaya despises Gentaro over the fact that Gentaro loves humanity just as much as he does. Gentaro states that it's all right for people to share feelings for everyone though.
  • Has found a kindred spirit with Jimmy Hopkins: Jimmy wants to fight off bullies and Gentaro wants to befriend others. Jimmy also respects Gentaro because despite looking like a delinquent, Gentaro doesn't act like one and is a great guy to be around. The two decided to team up and become the "Academy Hunters", dedicated to fight off any and all bullies in the Academy and administer proper justice to them.
  • Looks up to Sora as inspirational. Sora's among the nicest gods, and is believed to hold the most amount of friends, even though he's in the House of Nature.
  • Became friends with Ichigo Kurosaki due to having many similarities (the biggest one that they look kinda alike). Ichigo was amazed to hear how Gentaro let himself die so that Ryusei could be reunited with his best friend and then came back to life thanks to the bonds with his friends. Upon hearing about his adventures, Gentaro was surprised to hear that Uryu Ishida sounded like Ryusei Sakuta (and coincidence, they look the same too)
    • One day while travelling to the House of Music, he thought he heard someone singing and screamed "NADESHIKO!" in delight. That turned out to be Orihime Inoue who was surprised when she saw Gentaro run up to her and did a handshake After confusion cleared up, Orihime became fast friends with Gentaro and even decided to befriend Nadeshiko Misaki also.
  • Gentaro is great friends with Hibiki Tachibana. The two of them bonded over the many similarities they had, such as how they both transformed to fight and would use The Power of Friendship to befriend even their enemies. Fortunately Gentaro didn't confuse her for Ryusei Sakuta's mentor Tachibana (the last time he did caused him to go for a mental breakdown for ten minutes when he thought Tachibana was named after Sakyuya Tachibana/Kamen Rider Garren who looked like his principal Kouhei Hayami/Libra Zodiarts)
  • Has respect and admiration for his Toku Senpai in Ultraman Cosmos/Musashi Haruno who like Gentaro often befriend/help the Monster of the Week. The same goes for Wander who wants to help the people around him and who tries to make friends with the antagonists he meet.
  • Susan Caraway text
  • At one point became a companion to The Doctor in which he took part in the "Dalek and Cybermen War". He was left horrified at the Daleks' extreme xenophobia and the Cybermen robotic conversion.
  • Was impressed and admired the friendship that blossomed between Ryuko Matoi and Senketsu even though one is a piece of clothing. He also remarked how their friend Mako reminded him so much of Yuki with their upbeat personality.
  • "Uchu KITA!!! Kamen Rider Fourze, let's do this man-to-man!"

[up] Should have mentioned this before, but I think it's best to remove the references regarding the Through Darkness And Mirrors nicknames that are listed at the top of Gentaro's profile. We've effectively rendered most of the past Pantheon stories as Canon Discontinuity with that being one of them.

Also, I should recommend that the first paragraph should be about what kind of character Gentaro is + his role in Kamen Rider Fourze.

AKAIK, the only evil teacher in my mind is Agatha Trunchbull, though by extension, Gentaro could end up being friends with Matilda Wormwood due to the two being the odd one out regarding their school peers.

This one is loose, but maybe Gentaro would be enemies with John Kreese. While not a school teacher himself, Kreese does train school students karate in his Cobra Kai dojo, but his Dawrwinistic/Fatalistic philosophy twists these students into becoming vicious bullies in school who are more than willing to resolve things with violence. The fact that Kreese's philosophy of Darwinism can be a counter to Gentaro's take on wanting to befriend anyone he meets can a counter as well, as Kreese is likely to baulk in Gentaro's habit of trying to make friends with enemies.

I mentioned Gentaro as a friend in Jon Kent's profile. Namely that both are heroes who go to high school and aren't exactly interested in studies, despite both of them being more intelligent than it first appears. The fact that Gentaro is a Superhero in a sense (Tokusatsu is pretty much a subgenre of it) would endear Jon as he happens to be a fan of them.

You should also search for examples of Wake Up, Go to School, Save the World as they pretty much have Gentaro's knack of performing heroic actions whilst trying to maintain their time in school. And also friends and school groups who will gladly stick up and support one another like wit Muse and Aqours.

[up][up] Delete the Darkness and Mirrors and every other Alternate!Gentaro text in Gentaro's profile. I'm not giving you a [tup] until you do so.

[down] Didn't realize I got [nja]'d. Thanks for pointing that out.

@Whirl: Gentaro would despise the extreme teaching methods of Terence Fletcher. He even caused a student to commit suicide from all the pressure.

[up][up][up] Are we to delete every reference to Alternate!Gentaro in every profile we find to have one?

[up] We're all pretty much in agreement of taking out a lot of the Pantheon's old lore and stories, mainly because they were awful and nonsensical to begin with. Alternate Gentaro was among the worst of the lot. P.S. - Hotman has taken out all of the Project Gentaro references from what he says.

Bottom Posting.
