Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

What lore about these three am I missing?

Chronos, Protogenoi Of Time (Aeon/Aion, Keeper of Time, Khronos, Chronus, Cro, Ethan Snider, Clockwork God, Zen)

  • Hall: Time Manipulation (House of Time and Temporality)
  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: A complex formation of gears behind a clock
  • Theme Song: The Infinite
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: The Old Gods, Time Master, Embodiment And God Of Time, Often Conflated With Cronus The Titan, Winged Humanoid and/or Multiple Head Case, Multiple-Choice Past, The Oldest Being Alongside Ananke In Orphic Tradition, Had A Much Decreased Role In Standard Mythology
  • Domains: Time, Primordial Entities, Obscure Gods, Eternal Beings, Misidentification, the Zodiac
  • Heralds: Ananke (generally agreed on consort), Phanes, Aether (his children according to Orphic cults)
  • High Priest: Zurvan
  • Often confused with: The Titan Cronus
  • Varying relationship with: Gaea, Nyx, Tartarus (other Protogenoi), Zeus
  • Special relationship with: Zen
  • Interested in: The other Endless
  • Allies
  • On good terms with: Everyone who tries to maintain the flow and consistency of time in general (ie: The Hounds of Tindalos)
  • On speaking terms with: Clara Oswald, Liu Kang
  • Rival: Mercurius
  • Enemies
  • Opposes: Cronus, Eros/Cupid
  • Mixed on: S.E.E.S., The Investigation Team, Rei, The Empty
  • Before even the Titans were the Protogenoi, or primordials. While some like Gaea or Nyx are well-documented, there are other more obscure Greek primordials. And yet one is at least clearly defined by their role. Chronos is the Greek god of time, or perhaps more accurately is time. The imagery of Chronos by Renaissance artists is where the bearded old visage of Father Time comes from. He is often confused with the Titan Cronus to the point of being combined, but Chronos is far greater in power than any Titan could be. Originally he was a more important figure in Orphic tradition, and it is perhaps only there where you can find a depiction of his consort Ananke; the incarnation of necessity. He is also known as Aeon or Aion.
  • Chronos emerged from the shadows of obscurity to the Battlefield of the Gods, clad in Clock Punk and blue skin. As time itself, he will outlast everything, so there is no sense of urgency within Chronos; he is but an observer unless he's to be defied, but is fine throwing hands if needed. However he came to see the trope as "so...limiting" and instead sought the defining trope of Father Time. He is otherwise almost never involved with the shenanigans of his pantheon...probably because he doesn't know where he stands. In Orphic tradition he and Ananke are the ancestors of everything; Chaos itself is his and Ananke's child. Or is he the scion of Hydros and Gaea? Is Nyx's husband Erebus his child? Did he father Hemera on Nyx? It's said even he doesn't know due to The Fog of Ages.
  • When he came to change the trope, an even more obscure being called Zurvan challenged him for the role. However, Chronos has pantheon seniority so the dispute was quickly solved by making them his high priest. In part, this was to keep an eye on Zurvan's children. According to Zurvanism sect, they sought to have Ahura Mazda to rule but Angra Mainyu exploited Exact Words of the firstborn ruling to burst out of their womb and rule. Chronos rightly sees the God of Evil as a danger and supports his high priest setting a time limit to Ahrima's reign, so he has been supporting Ahura Mazda. Outside of this, Chronos doesn't care for the conflict between good or evil, boasting "good and evil may see like they will fight forever, but I am that forever. And I shall be after this conflict has long since lost any relevance or meaning".
  • Some old beliefs have stated that Chronos is actually a serpent with heads of a human, a bull and a lion. Where Chronos has not said anything on this, he might have chosen this form so that he wouldn't scare every one. Some people say that he was once kidnapped to serve the Hellbourne in the Forests of Caldavar, emulating the style of Darkterror, the Faceless Void. Chronos remarks that this "Chronos" does have interesting abilities, but they are not the same. Otherwise, he'd be using the experience he had in Caldavar and be goddamn OP in the Battlefield of the Gods... And he already has, given enough time. More importantly, he is not Cronus, a mistake so common even Zeus has gotten into squabbles with him about. Chronos isn't fond of the similarly named Titan for giving him a bad image.
  • He and Eros don't get along. Chronos was at first a tad annoyed at the claims Eros was a Protogenoi. The Protogenoi of Time initially let that slide maybe Hesoid felt there could be two Eros (a primordial to explain how the other primordials boned and a more well-known god of love) and he suffered from mistaken identity too, however that peace ended when Eros said he clipped his wings, and he won't forgive him for that. Chronos has tried to clear his name by claiming that "Time Clipping Cupid's Wings" was the 17th century's equivalent of a photo shoot and is meant to demonstrate time's effect on love. This hasn't helped their relationship and they're still on bad terms since Eros used his words to give him a bad image in the House of Love and Affection. Well, more like he tried, but Chronos sees that as an insult anyway.
  • A weaker incarnation of Chronos exists in the Supernatural universe, though the ascended Chronos believe this form is an unlicensed replica by Chuck Shurley. Compared to some of those that the boys faced he wasn't that bad, only demanding Human Sacrifice to counter-act Power Incontinence so he may stay with the woman he loves. Chronos has a more genuine incarnation that happens to take the form of a cute anime girl, where she goes by Cro. Given the scope of his power, one wonders if the father of the Endless, Time, is actually just Chronos without bothering to take a deific name. To this, the primordial has said "no, not quite, but I am interested in them". The primordial deity is especially fond of Destiny, as the Fates in mythology are sometimes his offspring.
  • Chronos tends to work with those who maintain the nature of time, and there are multiple beings in charge of specifically that. He muses if he and they are all derived from some meta-divine, omniversal principle, and if so that might explain some of the inconsistencies in his own lore. Dialga is the Pokémon of time, who the Protogenoi sees as his Mon counterpart. He is quite interested in Dialga's creator Arceus, a God-esque Maker who came from the Cosmic Egg...it reminds him of his maybe-scion Phanes. Arceus has told Dialga to take more notes from deities like Chronos and share the role of Father Time. Clockwork is a ghost who represents the same concept as Chronos, close enough that they believe each other are somehow alternate selves.
  • Perhaps his strongest ally is an aspect of Yog-Sothoth, Afrogomon. The Outer God's objectives and motivations are hard for even he to get a read on, but in that avatar it is opposed to the violation of time's laws. Ironic given what its Great Intelligence Avatar planned. Clara is still enraged by Yog-Sothoth as a whole, but that doesn't carry over to Chronos; he doesn't like her defiance of the possible but recognizes the necessity of spreading herself across the Doctor's timeline; he'd like to apologize if she feels offended by his alliance with the Key and the Gate. Yog-Sothoth has "permitted" (or perhaps simply gravitated to the idea of) the Hounds of Tindalos to serve as pets. Chronos muses that they are closer to "wild gods", but still useful.
  • With fate being absolute in Greek myth, one of few things Chronos did not see coming when he ascended to the Trope Pantheon was the existence of time paradoxes. Needless to say, he is not fond of said paradoxes. He dreads Lord English' exploitation of the Stable Time Loop as he is so powerful as to threaten even Chronos himself; he's that overpowered. The Vex aspire to be just as if not more powerful, and already have notable time manipulation powers. Dr Nefarious aspires to use Chronos to achieve his goal of making a reality where the heroes always lose, and N.Tropy seeks supremacy over time. Such goals will not stand as far as Chronos is concerned. He won't stand the Time Eater's existence either. Solaris is perhaps worst, being a super-dimensional entity who tried to devour and annihilate all possible timelines. As Chronos is time personified, he is one of few beings fully capable of fighting him without assistance of items like the Chaos Emeralds.
  • Unless you attempt to violate the laws of time, or work to support them, Chronos will rarely interact. Even more so than Nyx he is a true neutral among the Protogenoi, and of the Greek deities he only feels much kinship with said Protogenoi. He is somewhat upset by there no decent representations of his maybe child Chaos. Amatsu-Mikaboshi states they are precursors to Chronos, which the Greek god disagrees with by pointing out that there have been multiple Cosmoses in Marvel cosmology and they may simply have emerged in-between Cosmoses (plus the Chaos King is still but an aspect of greater Oblivion). Also, the Chaos King's goal of destroying the multiverse would risk Father Time becoming a redundant force. The Empty lacks such insane desires, and might be closer to the void-like concept of Greek Chaos, but it's pretty cranky when not asleep and keeps boasting about predating everything, Chronos included. Still, it is closer to the concept so Chronos has some good words on the entity.
  • Chronos is not one known for his wrath. He is annoyed by accusations he is surprisingly fragile, as he can just rewind time to put himself back together. But Rassilon has earned his wrath. It was bad enough that he would try to ensure supremacy over time, which is hubristic but not that awful to someone Above Good and Evil like Chronos. No, he had led the Time Lords in betraying their own ethos in a hell-war with the Daleks, injuring time, with his final means of winning being to destroy time itself so he and his loyal acolytes could transcend cause and effect. Yeah; there's a reason why Rassilon is not "Time's Champion". The Doctor definitely deserves a lot of praise from the time deity, however, though Chronos prefers to act as a Greater-Scope Paragon to the renegade.
  • The "sort of canon to the Whoniverse" entity Grandfather Paradox is one of Chronos' greatest enemies, as his existence is one big mockery to the concept of time. However Chronos' most meaningful rival may be Kronika, Titan of Time, as she is what he would become if he abused his job. While Chronos is content being time incarnate and doesn't feel strongly about lesser beings, her overseeing the timelines gradually drove her mad and she became a Control Freak. She believes that he's grown lazy and allowed madness and chaos within his pantheon, and he believes contrary to her claims she has allowed her emotions to get the best of her. To never become like Kronika, Chronos has sworn an oath to never pursue either her Hourglass, or the Throne; what he has now is enough. He has informed Liu Kang that he will be watching his career with great interest and has advised him one thing; never let the job get to your head.
  • Has stopped covering up his involvement in the Persona universe, since by now everyone knows his form as the Clockwork God. He has a complicated relationship with Zen as he is the human half of the primordial. There he doesn't just hold domain over time, but death too and helps souls to the afterlife. Chronos used the members of S.E.E.S. and the Investigation Team as pawns to free him so that he can become whole. Where the two teams defeated him and the fragment of him went to the afterlife, he doesn't feel that strong of hatred for them.

  • Amused by: The Goose (Geb)
  • Respects: Most Happily Married deities like Gomez and Morticia Adams unless they're too evil
  • Incest amongst gods often lacks the taboo that incest amongst humanity does. After all, when you're a literal deity the dangers of inbreeding usually aren't there and there usually aren't that many options. Geb and Nut are elder deities of the earth and sky, being twins in love. Their father Shu also married his twin Tefnut but he apparently didn't care for their relationship, so he forces earth and sky to be separate; in fairness, it's kind of hard for life to thrive when the earth and sky are so close. This didn't stop them from canoodling and having quadruplets, who coupled up as Osiris and Isis, and Set and Nephthys. Ra tried to stop their procreations by made it so that Nut would be sterile for every day of the year. Thoth decided to help her out by gambling with Khonsu for 1/72nd of Moon's light, adding an additional five days to the year where Nut was free to have as many children as she could bear; this why there are 365 days in a yearnote .
  • Applies to both
    • Geb used to be a member of the Trope Pantheon, under the Rock Monster trope. Over time however the Court of the Gods chose to let him go because he wasn't upkeeping his temple and said trope was only applicable to his Smite incarnation. He accepted this if only because he swore that somehow he would bring his sister-wife Nut into the Trope Pantheon. The couple celebrated finally being able to reunite and not having to deal with their dad blocking them. However they still aren't allowed to get that physical, not because it is gross (they're gods, they get a pass on incest) but they don't want to cause too much chaos with the earth and sky being too close together. The one who organized their reunion? Their grandfather Ra...when he is their grandfather. It's a long story involving the primordial Atum.
    • Another factor behind their ascension were good words put in by Zia Rashid, a magician and scribe of the House of Life and a member of the First Nome who had an important role in protecting Egypt. Further support was given by deities of another pantheon; Aphrodite and Eros. Aphrodite is all about supporting her OTPs and was pissed at their father getting in the way of true love so out of support for them, and spite towards Shu had her son Eros help ascend them as a couple. Another deity, Pangu, found this a rather interesting development. In his own cosmology his body would become the cosmos, and the creator of yin and yang found Geb and Nut's ascension to be a tantalizing prospect. However Geb was going to need the skinny on everything that's happened since he left; to start with, Regirock has found another partner.
    • Shu was still really persistent and put his foot down that they better make him and his sister-wife/their mom Tefnut their heralds, as they were original incestuous Egyptian power couple. This was to watch them and try to curtail their relationship, but it backfired big time when he realized being their herald meant being lesser on the pantheonic totem pole. Worse for Shu; it means he can never ascend in proper because his kids already have Divine Incest. Talk about an Epic Fail! Set had a laugh about this and his parents getting a win, as in spite of Geb and Nut's descendants often being in conflict they love them equally. The only Egyptian deity they're united in opposition with is Apophis, for obvious reasons. They aren't too fond of Ahkenaten either due to choosing monotheism in the form of a sun disc, reminding them of the grandfather they don't like. The other pharaohs still respect them as deities so the couple are cool with them, though they think Ramses shoud call off.
    • Neither are that fond of wind-related deities. Their dad Shu was a wind deity, and they're still salty about him. Shu tried to place the blame to Ra because he told him to separate them; they know, but they're still annoyed at him following orders and Ra has told the two to suck it up, much to their frustration. Part of why he did this was because he foresaw one of their kids would overthrow them. The two got into a bit of an argy-bargy with Azir due to mistaking him for their grandfather, but after realizing they mistook him apologized for the whole affair. Al'Azir and Fujin aren't fond of them projecting their own issues on them. On a more serious note, neither are fond of Cersei Lannister. Yes they understand her and Jaime's Twincest but they consider her an abusive partner, and feel bad for what happened to Jaime. Of course, they acknowledge that as much they're frustrated by Shu he's still a better dad than Tywin.
    • Geb and Nut are seen as a Foil to Gaea and Ouranos, another incestuous coupling of land and sky. Ouranos was an Abusive Offspring who sealed away his more monstrous-looking children for "being ugly" so Gaea got their son Cronus to castrate him in vengeance, and outside of maybe joining forces to help Rhea hide baby Zeus they've never reconciled. There's a fair bit of envy towards, but also respect from the Earth Mother to the couple. Hades and Persephone also ship the two. The two have a soft spot towards Romeo and Juliet because of their own forbidden love. Generally, the two are in favor for anyone who is Happily Married. They feel somewhat bad for Izanami due to what she became after her Death by Childbirth.
    • Because they are Egyptian deities they have a rocky first impression with those connected to Biblical lore. YHVH has certainly not helped as His obsessive need for control and being the only deity of worship is offensive to them, especially since it reminds them of the whole "Cult of Aten" malarky. However the actually good Gods like the Alpha and the Omega, and the one known by Bob, are more accepting of them even if they don't hang out persay. Also, because of their frustration with their grandfather Ra they are inclined to hate Grandfather for being, like, the worst grandpa ever. They're also annoyed by Belarus for her incessant stalking of her brother. They have no issue with the incest obviously, but the Yandere? No thank you.
  • Applies to Geb
    • Geb blesses the land with a plentiful harvest for men. He represents the land in both the harsh deserts and the lust fertile ground, though he's more often associated with the latter. As such, he is sometimes treated as the consort of Renenutet, the goddess of vegetation and harvest, and the father of a snake deity called Nehebkau. This isn't that widespread, though Geb is known for being associated with snakes and sometimes he will be depicted with the head of one. He was even thought as a father of snakes. He likes the fashion statement the SMT version of Lilith has, though outside of opposing YHVH isn't one for "her politics". As she desires to reunite with the first man Adam she understands his desire to be with his beloved sister-wife. She mused on how since his parents are the ancestors/creators of all human and animal life in his mythos, what Adam might think of them and Geb.
    • As mentioned, Geb originally debuted in his Smite where he loses a lot of his good looks and becomes a Rock Monster. Its thematically appropriate but he can't imagine Nut'll be happy if she has to take an inorganic form should she be added to the roster. He'd have to ask their great-grandmothernote  Neith if she can give a good word in to bring Nut into the game. Though Geb looks fearsome in this form he is a Gentle Giant; this makes him pretty good friends with both Groot and Iron Giant. When in combat, Geb always tries to end it as peacefully as possible. This mentality has made him good friends with the likes of Optimus Prime and Usagi Tsukino. Usagi has also sympathized with Geb's plight of being separated by his wife and she hopes to help on anyway she can to reunite the two.
    • Has been known to create earthquakes every time he laughs. Once he saw a comedy special at the House of Theatre and Spectacle and nearly destroyed the entire house. In his defense Geb doesn't mean to cause earthquakes, but he's so powerful that it happens. Not wanting to cause more fuss, he has asked Clark Kent to help him in controlling his power. Geb felt he kind of owed it to him because he's stopped the Earth from being conquered/destroyed hundreds of times at this point, and well he is the Earth. So if any Planet Eater or world destroyer is going to threaten Earth/him yet again he'll be ready to throw hands once he's had his boxing lessons from Superman.
    • Compared to the Grecian Earth Mother, the Egyptian Earth Father is a lot more chill and he has tried to advise Gaea in "not getting involved in your descendants' BS". For the most part Gaea and Geb get along, but they do have somewhat of a Friendly Rivalry in who does the job better. For some reason Cronus was compared to Geb by classical authors, which he finds rather offensive for obvious reasons...though to give the devil's due, Cronus did rule over a Golden Age before paranoia got the better of him. He's definitely more chill than Groudon, the Olympus Mons of land who is constantly feuding with its opposite. Groudon is pretty territorial towards Geb, but the Egyptian god tries to not let it get to him.
    • He is also known to have geese as his sacred animal, who in depictions typically rest on his head. His laughter was causing a bit of trouble again when he witnessed the antics of the Goose. His (metaphorical?) air was tugged by Gaea, who wanted to talk with him about something more serious. She pointed out that as a being who maintains crops and vegetation along with other earth and land-based domains, perhaps he should aid the Nature Preservers and the House of Plants. Geb decided she's right; he'd had enough fooling around and so has focused on trying to purge walking pollution elementals like Hexxus and Hedorah. Geb has been supporting Captain Planet and his friends in their endeavors since.
    • Hostile planets like the Iris can GTFO as far as Geb is concerned. Benevolent planets like Mogo are welcome, however. Toph Beifong is welcome to benefit from his patronage due to her earth-based powers and good nature, even if she took Regirock as her partner. Yeah, he felt some kinship with the stone Golem, especially in his Rock Monster form, but that doesn't mean they need to be partners in order to be friends. Also, he's not all that fond of one of Dio's men naming their Stand after them. He is kind of amused by the irony that the Stand with his name is water based, but would prefer it if Dio keeps his "shenanigans" outside of Egypt.
  • Applies to Nut
    • Nut is the goddess of the sky, and all that implies. Not in the sense of being a wind deity (that'd be her dad), but in having a blue Celestial Body. Appearance-wise she's been compared to Andromeda and Eternity, though more human-looking. As a benevolent celestial being, she tends to get along with them. She has a fondness for Rosalina and the Lumas as being an important part of the sky she embodies, and Nut's arms and legs act as the cardinal directions. Some consider her a figure of Fanservice because of her legs, however Nut considers this crude; she is trying to form a sky/dome over the Earth/her husband, not flaunt what she's got. If you want a Shameless Fanservice Girl, Bastet and Hathor are available.
    • During the day the Sun and Moon make their way across their body, and at dusk she swallows them so they may go through her belly and be reborn the next morning. Don't compare this to planet eating or star killing; she is not like the gluttonous C'Tan who poison and feast on stars, and when given souls prove malicious on a human level. Also, she rolls her eyes whenever any vore jokes are made at her expense about this. Her body serves as a protection to those who embody or are in charge of the sun and/or moon, like the Princesses of Equestria. Also of note is that Nut's sacred animal is the cow, which is probably why she has a soft spot for Miltank.
    • Compared to Geb and Gaea's civil yet competitive relationship, Ouranos and Nut get on pretty poorly. The Greek primordial is seen as a pretty big asshole with a hostile relationship to his earth deity and especially his kids, though not without redeeming traitsnote . More than anything, he's jealous of her. The two are in conflict over who should be the sky parent, however he will aid her in holding back the Primordial Chaos that Nut acts as a physical barrier. After all, he wants something to rule over. Since the Crimson King and Amatsu-Mikaboshi are omnicidal maniacs in the same vein as Apophis, Geb works with both of them to prevent their encroachment.
    • Nyx is a being a lot older and more powerful than Nut, however the two have a good relationship. After all, they both look after their own and the night is an important aspect of the sky. Nut isn't the Egyptian goddess of darkness, however; that would be the primordial Kek. However Nut does have a connection to a force often associated with darkness; death. Her son and grandson are death gods, but she is a friend and protector of the dead, who appealed to her as a child appeals to its mother. She's believed to draw the dead into her star-filled sky, and refresh them with food and wine. Overall Nut has a good relationship with Death incarnations should they be righteous in their actions. She's fond of Death of the Endless, though made the initial mistake of treating her like a kid until realizing she was far older and more powerful than her.
    • Yes, she knows what some immature folks think of when they think of Nut. Ouranos told her "oh, I've been there; you're name's not that awkward", only for her to reply "you stop caring when you keep hearing it. I just wish Beavis and Butthead stopped acting like it's some new, funny thing". Her grandson Sobek disagrees and has said that there's more ways to make it funny, which didn't surprise her as one of his epithets is "he who steals wives from their husbands".

@Nitro

There's no Yo-Kai in the Pantheon yet, but Nate Adams is. He has the Yo-Kai Watch, a device that allows him to see and befriend other Yo-Kai.

If you cannot find an official image of the cast together, then you can go for making a collage of the party members. If you don't know how, then you can PM General Gigan and ask them to make one for you. He knows how to make collages.

  • Paul is a trainer from the Sinnoh region, he began his journey inspired by his older brother Reggie, who had an optimistic friendly view on Pokémon battling, but Reggie's loss to the Pyramid King Brandon and retiring from battling afterwards broke Paul's admiration of his brother and made him vow to never be weak again and end like his brother. He adopted a fierce battling style across various regions as his skills improved with each league he participated in. He came to blows with Ash Ketchum, a trainer from Pallet Town who went on a similar journey to him; especially after Paul had abandoned a Chimchar who he saw as worthless for not unlocking its full potential and who Ash took in. Despite beating Ash and Chimchar (later Monferno and Infernape) several times, Paul and Ash had one last bout in the Sinnoh League tournament where Ash stood victorious once and for all. Having been influenced by Ash subtly through the Sinnoh journey and being humbled by various other defeats, Paul took this loss in stride and recognized Ash's strength before both parted ways. He would eventually meet Ash again when the latter participated in the Pokémon World Coronation Series while aiming to be the World Champion where Paul trained him for his last 3 battles in the Masters Eight (where the world's strongest trainers comepete). Once he was done, Paul was revealed to be a Gym Leader candidate.
  • Paul came into the Pantheon with a calm and orderly disposition and accompanied by his Electivire and Torterra at his side. Once he found out Ash and his friends were in he came over to see them and congratulate Ash personally on becoming the World Champion, Ash challenged him to a battle wishing to see more of Paul's new techniques, with Ash victorious albeit still struggling intensely to defeat him. Ever since the two have somewhat resumed their rivalry even though now that Ash has narrowed his goals to befriending all Pokémon as he found out being the World Champion was just not his thing.
    • Though Ash was perfectly willing to forgive Paul for his past transgressions, as were Brock and Dawn; Ash's other companions and friends weren't so. Serena heard of the sheer harshness in Paul's view and treatment of Ash and wasn't happy about it, Lillie similarly felt aversion to that and Paul's treatment of his Pokémon, May was also angered by how Paul acted especially after hearing it from Dawn. Regardless, his new outlook on life and change of heart have eased up these views on him though they still aren't exactly calling Paul a friend of theirs. Misty herself was forgiving too but damn near smacked him in the head upon first learning of how Paul treated Ash but was thankfully stopped by Ash himself and Brock.
    • N, formerly the leader of Team Plasma, was raised to see humans as mistreating Pokémon on principle and while he has seen that many Pokémon do like battling, he still won't be forgiving of legitimately cruel trainers and found Paul to be rather deplorable for his past actions, and while he does understand that he's truly changed and mending his mistakes, he does still give him flack for his treatment of Chimchar in particular; Paul isn't one to protest this, rationalizing that N has fair reasons to not want to do much with him or at all. Even with Ash trying to make them friendlier with each other, the progress hasn't been any big at all.
  • Paul did find positive relationship in those who value physical strength over more "soft" methods, even if Paul isn't as extreme as some of those he found about it.
    • Seto Kaiba is well-known for his eternal rivalry with Yami Yugi, like Paul he is ruthless and unflinching in battle/duels; Kaiba respected the commitment Paul had to his methods and how effective they proved where most would fail or be done in by said methods. Paul himself respected Kaiba's own determination and sheer force of will, and was also introduced to dueling by him, as both of them are familiarized with being able to scout out the best possible strategies and being very versatile in what they can do, Kaiba himself has given some thought to Pokémon battling on Paul's recommendations himself. With this alliance he's also found a big enemy in Gozaburo Kaiba, Kaiba's abusive father who proved so evil that even Kaiba at his worst considered scum, and eventually ousted.
    • Vegeta is Goku's rival and though never quite surpasses him much is still a respectably powerful warrior, Vegeta finds Paul's dedication to his ruthlessness in battle and refusal to let go of his preference even after seeing the value in kinder methods respectable as he himself has been somewhat tamed from his days as a murderous maniac Saiyan yet hasn't lost his ruthless edge. Vegeta also respects that despite Paul's harshness, his Pokémon respect and care for him and are in tune with his methods, complimenting Paul on being able to keep his team in line with the methods he most uses while simultaneously not being fully consumed by the worst impulses of it.
    • Jun Manjome is even more adaptable than Kaiba and found Paul's ability to switch his teams even before one battle and copy, subvert and take down with ease even unpredictable wild methods to be more than admirable, Paul himself sees Manjome as an outstanding duelist due to his history of rebuilding himself from the ground-up after a crushing streak of losses and becoming stronger, smarter and a better person overall as a result, like Paul did after his loss to Ash in the League. The Ojamas following Manjome occasionally try and stir up trouble with Paul but his Pokémon tend to keep them away before they can. Manjome bonded with Paul over their issues with their older brothers, as Paul was disappointed by Reggie giving up training after one loss while Manjome's older brothers were abusive and rude to him and placed unrealistic expectations that he had to prove himself against.
    • Katsuki Bakugo detests to be seen as weak or act kind in battle in general, though he is much more aggressive and brutal than even Paul was at his worst. Bakugo respects how Paul has honed the efficiency of his methods in his career and that despite the usual pushback to those methods he pressed on and proved a force to be reckoned with in his world. Paul himself thinks highly of Bakugo for the most part but finds his incessant need to be seen as tough as "pathetic" overcompensation of his ego, given he's been able to reflect on the similar attitudes he had once. Bakugo himself has grown somewhat lately and has been genuinely impressed to see how Paul himself has outgrown the worst of his worldview while not abandoning it entirely.
    • Vergil has been through all the spectrums of villainy and heroism, but nowadays has settled on an Anti-Hero at worst; he once sought strength to protect those he cares about before he devolved into a purely power-obsessed warrior that lost his way only for it all to result in him learning and gaining nothing before slightly getting better, a feeling Paul can attest to knowing personally even if he never went as extreme in his quest as Vergil did; regardless of this past the two have respect for one another in their similar pursuits of power and how both have matured in the chase of said goal after spending a lot of time being rather unreasonable and self-centered over it.
  • Paul found himself a new rival in Silver, another trainer with a similar approach to Pokémon training yet was once nowhere as efficient as Paul himself was with his own methods. Silver has found Paul to be someone to admire given his status as one of the world's strongest trainers, Paul himself has at times approached this rival with some Stealth Mentor tendencies, partly to make him a stronger foe and to hone his own skills at training for his eventual Gym Leader position. Silver and Paul get along besides this, occasionally taking their time to discuss strategies and their experiences when not battling, even remarking some of their striking similarities.
  • Paul wasn't once the nicest guy but even he opposed the likes of Hunter J, Team Galactic and Team Rocket; members of all the organizations are present in the Pantheon to his disgust though he prioritizes Hunter J due to personally knowing from Ash how dangerous she can be. Other villainous organizations and their leaders were similarly present and Paul opposes them all the same. Paul also had disdain for the neglectful jerk Rusty, who's gotten his Pokémon killed more than once because of his careless, idiotic and irresponsible attitude which Paul finds deplorable in its entirety as even at his worst he wouldn't leave his Pokémon to die or abandon them without at least ensuring they had somewhere to go.
  • While Paul might not prefer the kinder methods even after all this time, he does see their value now when not the only value one relies on and scoffs at those who think it's entirely a weakness to be kind, because of this he isn't fond of John Kreese, a martial arts sensei who prides himself in harming people with his school's ways of teaching karate and even goes as far as assaulting his own students for failing to live up to his expectations. Johnny Lawrence once had that mindset at its most toxic but grew out of it, though not leaving all the aspects of it behind and as such became good allies with Paul. Johnny himself saw some of his worst traits on how Paul once behaved but has stated that he admires his drive to be better from such a young age, avoiding the toxic mindset haunting him well into his adult years.
  • Paul isn't opposed to being harsh to allies or ruthless to his own side but even he has limits to how far he'll take his actions even when he was at his worst, as such he didn't have much kind words for Char Aznable who went above and beyond in the cruelty of his worst actions, going as far as nearly dropping a colony on Earth. Paul views Aznable's extremes as far beyond what he could think up in his worst days and particularly thinks him becoming just as bad as the Zabis he opposed is deplorable. While he views some parallels between their rivalries, he prefers to not associate with the red pilot much, if at all.
  • Paul learnt of the Thraddash, an alien race which employs the virtue-rejecting philosophy so much that they more or less almost drove themselves extinct several times due to their extreme approach to the ideology of the strong over the weak, which even some of the most fanatical of that worldview think is too far taken. Paul was no exception to this and was in particular baffled at how lacking in self-awareness the Thraddash were, especially with how by now they should absolutely know better than to repeat what hasn't worked for them at all in making them a superior species to the others.

Rough draft for Dr. Zaius, an orangutan who hates humans and is one of the leading figures for a post-apocalyptic society of primates.

Looking for suggestions for additional interactions based on some bullet points and other relevant aspects of his character.

Doctor Zaius, God of Wise Orangutans

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The Sacred Scrolls and the statue of the Lawgiver
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Portfolio: Anti-Villain, Non-Action Big Bad, Fantastic Racism towards Humans Because he Thinks that they Ultimately Destroy any Environment they Settle in, Morally Ambiguous Doctorate, Will Destroy any Evidence Related to True History about Apes and Humans
  • Domains: Primates, Knowledge, Bigotry
  • Allies: Koba
  • Enemies: Humans (notably Colonel McCollough), Satellite of Love crew (specifically Mike and the robots), King K. Rool, Winston
  • Disapproves of: Donkey Kong and his DK Crew, King Louie
  • Foil to: Caesar
  • Respects: Mojo Jojo
  • Fascinated with: King Kong
  • Primates have become the dominant lifeform on Earth following the planet’s devastation and they have started their own civilization where Earth once stood. Doctor Zaius is one of the more notable figures in leading ape civilization thanks to his role as Minister of Science. Despite such a prestigious position, he has a hatred of humans as he believes that they are responsible for the destruction of any place they settle in, Earth included. He’s also the only ape who knows the truth about the history of apes and humans prior to Earth becoming a post-apocalyptic wasteland and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to prevent it from coming out for the sake of preventing ape civilization from self-destructing.
  • Zaius’ last moments was spent belittling his human nemesis George Taylor about human’s capacity for evil and destruction before the latter set off the Alpha-Omega Bomb, eradicating all life on Earth for good. While that particular Earth is gone, it wouldn’t be the last of Zaius as he woke up in a place that looked familiar to the primate civilization that he and the other apes oversaw, yet there was something that didn’t seem right about it. It was when Zaius saw some records that were sent his way that he learned that not only was the world around him thriving, but that humans have done plenty of feats far more advanced than what he previously thought was possible. It did little, if any, to change his perspective about human’s darker traits as he believed such accomplishments would only make humanity more arrogant and bring them close to destruction. For the time being, Zaius and his civilization of apes had their own corner in the wider world of the Pantheon and he had to be prepared for the greater resistance that would be directed towards his mentality and world.
  • When it comes to leading primate civilization towards prosperity, Caesar and Zaius couldn’t have been more different in their actions and mindset. Aside from Caesar being more inclined to step into action when threatened as opposed to Zaius relying more on his brains, Caesar has maintained an open mind towards humans despite being fully aware of the monstrous actions that they are capable of in contrast to Zaius’ open hatred and distrust towards them. Given the number of dangerous humans Caesar has encountered that have tried to kill him and his ape tribe such as Colonel Mccollough (who Zaius believes to be a prime example of not only the threats to ape civilization, but also of human’s capacity for hatred and destruction), the orangutan believes that Caesar isn’t doing enough for ape-kind while Caesar can’t accept Zaius’ bigotry and sees it as something that could disturb the peace among apes and humans if other primates were to spread around such a mindset. Koba was an ape who took a liking towards Zaius’ beliefs regarding primates and humans and Zaius has accepted him as part of his society, with Koba hoping to use it as a means to get revenge on Caesar.
  • While there are many humans that Zaius hates due to his mindset, he finds Mike Nelson from the Satellite of Love to be one of the most infuriating humans he’s heard about after finding out about one part of the latter’s misadventures. At one point, Mike and his robot companions found themselves in a planet ruled by apes and escaped after it was destroyed by a powerful bomb that Mike unwittingly helped the apes fix. Zaius didn’t care if the whole thing was an accident or not; the fact that a human was responsible for the destruction of an entire planet (and of the primate civilization that was there) only added more fuel to his belief that humans are evil and dangerous. That the civilization of apes that lived there was mostly dumb (including the initially semi-intelligent Bobo who became an idiot after following Mike and the robots around following Earth’s destruction) didn’t help, even if Zaius gained some knowledge that human stupidity can be just as bad as human intelligence.
  • (other primates)
  • (hating humans)
    • (belief that humans will destroy themselves)
  • (illicit experiments on humans)
  • (destroying evidence of truth)
  • (post-apocalyptic civilization)
  • If the debacle regarding Mike and the robots (who spend most of their time watching bad movies) is any indication, it’s that Zaius sees no value in recreational entertainment. While Zaius’ story is a movie in and of itself, the Pantheon made the whole ape civilization thing a reality alongside other strange facets of different worlds. One individual who tackled a rather unorthodox approach to Planet of the Apes was actor Troy Mcclure, who people may know him for starring in Stop the Planet of the Apes I Want to Get Off, a musical version of the aforementioned film. Zaius finds it baffling that someone would create a ridiculous song about him in an equally bizarre retelling, but he otherwise still finds Troy Mcclure to be just another human not worth any value of any sort.

[up] The Inklings, Octolings and the Folktails and Iron Teeth come from future Earths where humans went extinct, having replaced them as the dominant species in their worlds. 2B, 9S and A2 are androids who live on a post-human earth, who fought a war against robots (made by also extinct aliens) out of a lie that there were some remnants of humanity on the moon.

Oersted (aka Odio), Lysandre and Gulliver are humans who became misanthropic. Speaking of misanthropy, there's the Houyhnhnms, who have influenced Gulliver's negative opinion on humanity.

Withnail is in the Hall of Alcohol as "the God Who's Always Hungover". Is he a good representative of Hangover Sensitivity? If so, I can change his title to better match his trope. If not, do I have permission to remove the profile?

@ Dr Zaius: I imagine his opinion on Gorilla Grodd would be a Depending on the Writer situation. Grodd thinks humans are inferior and either wants to supplant or wipe them out. However while sometimes he's written as someone cares about Gorilla City and sometime he's more of a sociopath in it because Ambition Is Evil. I can't imagine Barry Allen or Wally West would be fond of Dr Zaius as he's a more Anti-Villain version of Grodd

For Geb and Nut, who else has to deal with their parent or parents trying to stop them getting together? (not necessarily because of incest) Who else is a being that's meant to represent the earth and sky respectively?

On that note, who do you think'd be good for "Just So" Story? I'm not sure what I'd decide

@R-Lock, following what RJ said. Doctor Zaius has met Gorilla Grodd in the Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern crossover comic. And it was not a pleasant experience. Grodd has no respect for the law of Ape Shall Never Kill Ape. As he forced an ape to kill another ape to show his superiority. He also met the Green Lanterns and Thaal Sinestro. Sinestro held him at knife point for most of their time together, and the chaos brought by the Lanterns and their rings caused a number of ape deaths. So he naturally told them to get the hell out of his universe, but did agree with Hal that things needed to change in relations between Ape and Humans. He's also not a fan of the DC Universe because not only did they cause trouble, but both the Guardians and Amanda Waller viewed his universe as an Expendable Alternate Universe. That was half the reason why Grodd was there. The other half was because Guy Gardner is an idiot.

  • Also in a Tarzan and Planet of the Apes crossover, Tarzan is the adopted son of Zira and Cornelius. Tarzan didn't get into any fight with Zaius, but that was because Tarzan and Caesar were too busy trying to prevent the Time Crash caused by the the Alpha-Omega Bomb. The closest thing to any interaction they had was Tarzan believing that Ape and Humans cam coexist, while Zaius obviously doesn't.

@RJ, this is major lore dump from Dungeons & Dragons, but I think you'll find some useful information to be of use.

  • In the Forgotten Realms Geb is also known as King of the Riches Under the Earth, Father Under the Skies and Sands, Lord Earth, Gebthant to the people of Thay and Gebakotep to the people of Unther. He has a church known as the Church of Geb in Mulhorand. It’s a hereditary church with the priests being members of the House of Gebthant. Each member has at least one ancestor that was a human incarnation of Geb. Despite this dwarves and gnomes are also known to be a part of said church, just not as priests.
    • As a follower of Geb, if you displease him, you get the unfortunate chance to learn what it’s like to have a personal earthquake, but those who please him and follow his will are rewarded with finding a cache of gems. Miners who follow and worship him are warned of unsafe areas with cracks on the ground and rock. Dead canaries indicate unsafe air conditions, and fleeing rats are warnings of unsafe cave systems.
  • In the Elemental Plane of Earth, Geb is considered the God to worship for travelers. Because the world is just Earth, and you'll effectively need Divine Intervention to survive. Geb also has a strong amount of control in said real because of his status as a God of Earth. In said Plane he also has what's known as the Caverns Under the Stars.
  • He has other orders dedicated to him. Such as the Fellowship of the Mithril Mountain, which is charged with locating a legendary mountain full of Mithril. This could make Geb popular with those who desire or need certain Fantasy Metals. There’s also the Brotherhood of the Pick, which is basically a union for Nobles of Mulhorand.
  • I mentioned before that Gnomes and Dwarves are also known followers of Geb. Well Geb is also a friend of the Gnome God Flandal Steelskin, and the Dwarven God Moradin. Meaning he can befriend the Gnomes and Dwarves in Pantheon. Maybe even form up a friendship with Aule.

  • Portfolio: Collectors of Forms, Henshin Heroes, Reconstruction of the Mons genre, each partner has a Signature Mon and is a Required Party Member for their sub-plot, you can only have one partner active at a time (except during the final boss battle), can fuse while in their monster forms when their Relationship Values are high enough, their Transformation Trinkets are cassette tapes (but it turns out these are just conduits, and their ability to transform comes from within)
  • Domains: Shape-shifting, being stranded, retro aesthetics
  • Allies: The Animorphs, Tom Berenson, Ben Tennyson
  • Enemies: Soundwave
  • Interested in: All Mons (the Pokémon, the Digimon, Platypet, the Spectral Familiars, etc.)
  • Superior: William Shakespeare (Viola only)
  • New Wirral is a Place Beyond Time where people and things from various universes keep ending up. Unfortunately, it's also inhabited by extremely dangerous monsters and even more dangerous Angelic Abominations. A few decades ago, an entire mall appeared in New Wirral, bringing with it a treasure trove of cassette tapes and walkmans. Some humans figured out that they could record the monsters' essences on the cassettes, play them back, and transform into them.
    • The player character is the latest arrival to New Wirral. They have no canonical name, appearance, or gender. Kayleigh finds them on the beach outside Harbourtown, and teaches them how to transform. Shortly afterwards, the two of them encounter the wounded Archangel Morgante, who possesses the player and gives them advice on how to escape the island.
    • Kayleigh is an enthusiastic guitarist with a dark past. She used to be the second-in-command of a cult that worshipped the Archangel Mourningstar, but left because she realised how horrible it was, and never looked back until the player arrived. In her home world, he played the guitar as a hobby, and the player encouraged her to write a love song. Her Sirenade transformation is an Air-type humanoid with speakers for wings that sings into the microphone on its tail.
    • Eugene is from a post-capitalist future, and dedicates his life to fighting the vampire-like Landkeepers who want to introduce money to New Wirral. He thinks he didn't do good enough back home, and the Archangel Mammon asks him if it's the only way he can cope with being stranded. His Clocksley transformation is a Plastic-type clockwork toy that specialises in ranged attacks.
    • Felix is a zoetrope artist who became disillusioned with his job. He was teleported into New Wirral with his entire apartment — and Kuneko, a character he created as a teenager, came to life. Being a winged, half-angel, half-demon Cat Girl with the powers of the four classical elements, Felix is embarrassed by her existence at first, but eventually reconciles that everyone has to start somewhere. His Brushroom transformation is a Plant-type Mushroom Man who wields a paintbrush as a weapon.
    • Meredith is a huge fan of 80s pop culture, such as its music and fantasy novels. She accompanies the player through Falldown Mall just to find a record containing a song she likes... only to discover that it's from an alternate universe, so it's different to the version she remembers. She's disappointed, but later becomes fascinated by how media could vary between universes. Her Kittelly transformation is an Electric-type, anthropomorphic cat with a television for a head.
    • Viola is a woman from centuries in the past, before electricity and cinnamon rolls were invented. She's looking for her brother Sebastian... and is shocked when the Archangel Robin Goodfellow reveals she's a character from Twelfth Night, and won't find him until the author says so. (It was awkward, to say the least, when she discovered that William Shakespeare was in the Pantheon.) She resolves that while her life may be a story in other worlds, it's still real to her. Her Spirouette transformation is a Water-type ballerina mollusc.
    • Barkley is a Pomeranian's looking for his owner on Mt. Wirral. It turns out his owner was killed by Averevoir, a giant bird monster, so he decides to stay with the player and even follows them back to their homeworld at the end. He may seem like an ordinary dog, but he can transform using the cassette tapes as well. His Pombomb transformation is also a Pomeranian; usually it's a Fire-type, but he comes with a rare Ice-type variant, known as a bootleg.
  • A while after they saved the multiverse, the party suddenly found themselves reunited in the same place — specifically, the Court of the Gods. Like New Wirral, it's a nexus point between various universes, but unlike New Wirral, people can come and go as they please. After the party had a group hug, the gods explained that they were chosen to represent the Collector of Forms trope, and will share the position because it felt unfair to ascend just one. Since the partners hang out at the Gramophone Caf&eacute when not adventuring, a replica of it serves as their temple in the Pantheon.
  • When the party ascended, the only tapes they had on them were their respective Signature Mons except the player, who has all the tapes that gave them an Ability Required to Proceed — a Dominoth for gliding, a Bulletino for dashing, a Boltam for electromagnetism, a Diveal for swimming, and a Jumpkin for transforming into a wall-scaling vine ball. Annoyingly, their tapes were all reverted to their lowest stages. They're all interested in seeing if they can record the Pantheon's various other Mons.
  • Naturally, they get along with the Pantheon's other form-collectors. Viola finds common ground with two of the Animorphs: she shares Ax's fascination with late 20th/early 21st century human inventions, especially cinnamon rolls; and like Jake, her attempt to rescue her brother ended in tragedy. She was happy to learn that Jake finally got to reunite with his brother in the Pantheon, who's also a shape-shifter. All of the Animorphs (and Tom) like to pet Barkley, especially Jake and Tom, who owned a dog; and Cassie, who's good with animals. They're also interested in learning about the monsters of New Wirral, but can't acquire the recordings because they're DNA-less imitations of the real deals. For the same reason, Ben Tennyson's Omnitrix can't scan the recorded monsters, but he still thinks the Cassette Beasts party are awesome.
  • Meredith was confused to see a cassette tape lying around in their temple. It didn't look like any of the ones her friends used, and wasn't labelled with any stickers. Wondering if it contained music or a monster, she picked it up and was about to put it in her cassette player... when it suddenly transformed into a human-sized robot. Without a moment of hesitation, she transformed into Kittelly and fought it off. The group later learned that it was one of Soundwave's spies; they don't like the sound of a Humongous Mecha who's undyingly loyal to his war-mongering master, so they decided to train against each other while fused so they'll be prepared to handle bigger foes.

Gosh, Ben and Gwen's profile is barren. It's been a long time since I've seen Ben 10, so I couldn't think of many interactions just from reading their profile. Also, I was considering adding images of each of their transformations (in a labelnote), but then I realised that no-one's uploaded a sprite of Ice-type Pombomb online yet.
