Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@Sirica [tup]

Anyways, time for some spooky Deity Proposals now that it's been 2+ months.

  • Horde Prime, Unholy God of Controlling Underlings
    • Horde Prime is the Big Bad of the final season. One of his main traits, aside from his extreme narcissism, is his almost complete control of his servants, mainly his clone soldiers, through various methods: A Hive Mind which allows him to not only control the bodies from afar; but also override the bodies' will completely, religious/cult indoctrination from birth and mind-wipes should any show individuality; to boot he also brainwashes other beings into serving him through neck chips that "add" their victims' minds to Prime's Hive Mind, with the added bonus of said chips inserting their mechanisms inside of a person's nervous system to execute their control. This is all highly detailed in a show where individuality and breaking free from indoctrination is held in high steem.

  • Adora and Catra, Dual Goddesses of Adaptational Sexuality
    • Both of them were always shown to be heterosexual (Or their sexual orientations were never stated) in previous Masters of the Universe works, having Ship Tease (one-sided or not) with either Sea Hawk or Bow each. In the reboot, however, they don't have any Ship Tease with male members of the cast (Bow's Ship Tease involving Glimmer and Sea Hawk being paired with Mermista), with both showing attraction to other women in the series and them becoming an Official Couple in the finale, their relationship is also considered a landmark of LGBT representation as it is a major plot point of the series and explicitly confirmed.

[down] Oh, was it approved or...

@Bale: You can still try to contest the claim. Bazzard's pick Clarke Griffin barely has any content on it, but there's at least a profile already, which is more than you have right now. Alternatively, perhaps look for some LGBT-related trope for them, such as Non-Heteronormative Society.

Any more opinions on my verdict on the Treasury rework?

When's the Biohazard section for all the viruses and other pandemic-level lethal diseases gonna come up? Or should I handle that?

I'd like an answer so I can continue working on the Omniverse Museum.

Ameno-Sagiri, God of Comfort In Ignorance (Ame-no-Sagiri)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/250px-amenosagiri_5619.jpg
  • New House: Outlooks on Life (House of Philosophy)
  • Greater God
  • Symbol: Yellow camera-like eye with "AMNOSG LENS" written in its borders, peeking from the fog.
  • Theme Music: The Almighty
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil by actions, Neutral Good by desires, overall Blue-and-Orange Morality
  • Portfolio: Misunderstanding of humans, bad methods for helping humanity, Master of Illusion, existing as a fragment of another god, Ignorance Is Bliss, Technicolor Eye
  • Domains: Fog, Desire, Collective Consciousness
  • Interests: Big Brother, The Anti-Spiral
  • Allies: Izanami (its greater aspect), Adachi, Bizarro, Keel Lorenz
  • On speaking terms with: Nurgle
  • Rivals: Cyrus (Pokemon)
  • Enemies: Lucifer, Nyarlathotep (Persona), Yuuki Terumi, The Emperor of Mankind, The Truth, Teru Mikami, Light Yagami
  • Opposes: The Idea Of Evil
  • Opposed by: The House of Knowledge
  • When Izanami ascended, residual energy within Adachi reacted to it, and Ameno-Sagiri reformed by her side. He is a fragment of Izanami, yet powerful in his own right, and therefore was placed in the House of Nature to preside over fog. Yu Narukami and his friends insisted that humans don't wish to live in ignorance at heart, thus Ameno has allowed the fog to recede, even now. But as promised, he will create more fog, should he deem humanity as wanting it. This goes for the Pantheon as well.
  • Being a part of Izanami, he is aligned with her in all of Izanami's endeavors. And although he was borne from Adachi twice, Ameno-Sagiri has no true affiliation with him any longer. Adachi himself does not seem to care. That said, Adachi is sometimes summoned in order to translate for Ameno, as some people have trouble understanding his incredibly deep voice.
  • Ascended under the Fog of Doom trope, but it was eventually decided that Ignorance Is Bliss fits better as Ameno-Sagiri's fog spreads ignorance and illusion; a peaceful lie over a harsh truth. In the viewpoint of the Truth, a dead end for humanity. The Fog is the bane of the House of Knowledge, who solidly reject Ameno-Sagiri. To his credit, he accepted his loss to the Investigation Team with grace.
  • The bringer of the Fog of Doom is an avatar of the Izanami who represents the collective unconsciouness. Ameno-Sagiri is not in any way related to the true Izanami, who finds him to be an oddball as the true Ameno-Sagiri is a minor mountain god. She doesn't agree with his actions, however they both share a hatred towards Yuuki Terumi given his feud with his Izanami, namely because he wants the worst for humanity and Ameno-Sagiri wishes for the best.
  • His goals are similar to YHVH, sans The Evils of Free Will. However he tends not to associate with YHVH or the Grand United Alliance of Law, as He and Izanami don't see eye to eye. Ameno-Sagiri attempted to get Eliphas on his side, but he doesn't believe Ameno-Sagiri's vision would be all that orderly(or chaotic for that matter). However, Lucifer regards it with contempt for limiting people's freedom by making them ignorant and denying the truth.
  • In times past, Lordgenome would've seen Ameno-Sagiri as a great method of keeping mankind complacent and thus safe from breaking the one million population limit. But that time has long past, and Team Dai-Gurren's rebellious streak has them opposed to the very idea of the Fog. However he respects their spirit, even if he claims that he'll always return if mankind wishes it. The Anti-Spiral believes that, if they were to convince Ameno-Sagiri to side with them, he would be a great means of ensuring no Spiral Race ever reaches the potential for causing the Spiral Nemesis.
  • Some conspiracy theories blame the Illuminati for being to blame for releasing Ameno-Sagiri into the pantheon, in order to control "sheeple" better. They've stated "no, he doesn't factor in our plans". Ingsoc would almost certainly want to co-opt Ameno-Sagiri to solidify their power, given their "ignorance is strength" mantra. Not something the entity would like, as Ameno-Sagiri considers himself to be acting on what mankind wants, while Big Brother and the Party's only desire is "oppression for the sake of it".
  • The Emperor of Mankind despises Ameno-Sagiri with fervent passion, as the idea that Ignorance Is Bliss is antithetical to his views. And ignorance and human stupidity are a cancer in the Imperium of Mankind he duly wishes to remove. He compares Ameno-Sagiri to a Chaos God, specifically Nurgle given they're a sort of cosmic sloth and malaise. That said, this is mainly on a superficial level and the two entities tend to discuss their worldviews rather than work together.
  • Miror B has tried dancing in front of Ameno-Sagiri, mistaking him for a disco ball. Ameno-Sagiri has shown no reaction to this, and no one's corrected Miror B. Some gods have tried to figure out if the fog generated by Ameno-Sagiri is in any way related to the fog in Silent Hill. As of now, no one has found anything to either prove or disprove that theory.
  • Curiously, the effect of the fog is reversed on Bizarro, instead causing him to become more perspective and self-aware. However, he still finds himself agreeing with Ameno-Sagiri, citing his own homeworld as a place where ignorance and idiocy have created a nicer world. He's not entirely wrong, as the "superhero vs supervillain" fights are more lighthearted by comparison to the main DC Universe's Earth.
  • The head of SEELE is under the belief that Ameno-Sagiri would lead to a positive end to humanity, as the fog might solve the hedgehog dilemma. However he believes the Fog is just the first step, and things must progress further to an Assimilation Plot. The head of Team Galactic, however, has differing opinions; while he respects Ameno-Sagiri's desires to bring about peace, he believes it's not truth and knowledge getting in the way of utopia, but spirit and emotion. At least at first; Hareta has led him to turn a new leaf.
  • Teru Mikami believes that Ameno-Sagiri is an unsightly abomination for promoting laziness through ignorance, and would love to DELETE! it...if the Death Note worked on more than just humans. Light Yagami takes a more practical view on Ameno-Sagiri; it would prevent society from growing and improving, which would delay his vision.
  • The Idea of Evil and Ameno-Sagiri share a number of similarities. They are both representations of sloth on the collective unconscious, in different ways; the Idea is the decision to have someone to blame for/explain suffering rather than dealing with it, and Ameno-Sagiri thinks humanity should be slothful in being ignorant, rather than facing harsh truths. That said, they have very different methods and the latter isn't too comfortable with their similarities, especially the Idea of Evil's justification of its role in the Vicious Cycle; my desires are humanity's desires.

  • New Houses: Insects (House of Beast), Demons (House of Otherness)
  • Intermediate God (Greater God as Baal)
  • Symbol: His staff with his wings coming out of it
  • Theme Music: Beelzebub
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil (as Beelzebub/Baal/Baal Zebub), Chaotic Good (as Zebul/Takajo Zett), Lawful Evil (as Beelzebu)
  • Portfolio: Demonic Lord Of The Flies, Big Creepy-Crawlies, Shock and Awe, Dark Is Evil, Bonus Boss, The Worm That Walks, Demonized Old God, Once Being A Sexy Dominatrix, Sinister Angel As Beelzebu, Dark Skinned Human and Deity Forms
  • Domains: Insects, Darkness, Filth, Gluttony, Godhood, Lightning
  • Interested in: Shino Aburame, Agitha, Midora, the Deviljho and Gluttony
  • Allies: Lucifer, Mara and the Grand United Alliance of Chaos, the other Beelzebub, the other Beelzebub, Naoki Kashima, Makoto Yuki, Kotone Shiomi, Yu Narukami, Ren Amamiya, Dracula, Gul'dan, Fraudrin, Nurgle, Typhus, Beelzemon, Beetlejuice, Stratos
  • Enemies: YHVH and the Grand United Alliance of Law, Misty, Ragnaros the Firelord, Flynn, Spawn, spider gods, The Radiance, the House of Angels
  • Weirded out by: Ren Hoek
  • Next to the Devil himself, Beelzebub is the most well-known demon. The demonized form of a Philistine god worshiped in Ekron, often referred to as Baal Zabul in his true form, he is seen as a demon associated with flies. Usually seen either as one of the devil's alias, his right hand man or the demon who rules over the sin of gluttony. Whatever the form, this Beelzebub serves as The Dragon to the bringer of chaos, Lucifer.
  • Ascended soon after the creation of the Grand United Alliance of Chaos by urging of his master. Out of all of the Forces of Chaos, he is the closest Lucifer can call a 'right-hand fly'; Beelzebub is fiercely loyal to the Morning Star. Though his true loyalties lie with Lucifer, Beelzebub is willing to work with those who either A) defeat him in combat and thus prove they deserve to command him, or B) show a sufficient dedication to the ways of Chaos. As such, he fought alongside Dracula himself on a whim on one occasion.
  • Was one of the demons present for the creation of the Demi-Fiend; he will be the first one to praise Naoki's power, as he witnessed it firsthand during their match together. Beelzebub later tried to convince Set to join the cause of chaos, pointing out they are both demonized deities. Set turned it down, saying that while he relates to his fate he isn't interested in the factions of law and chaos. Yes he's a chaotic deity, but not consummately so.
  • Not the only Beelzebub, however he states to be the original. Here are some interactions with other Lords of the Flies.
    • Not technically Beelzebub, but heavily based on him is Beelzemon. Already an ally of Lucifer, he is pleasantly surprised to learn that Beelzemon is willing to work with him. He found they share gluttony, but for the biker it's not hunger for food but hunger for power, something he is fine with.
    • A cuter female Beelzebub is the Token Good Teammate of the Seven Mortal Sins, driven by Horror Hunger and lacks the excess of the fly. Gets along less with him, but he's fond of the girl in his own way. There's another cute female Beelzebub that he's fond of as well
    • Baby Beel shows promise for Beelzebub, however this is a family name of the Sin Lords of Gluttony. This might mean he is a descendant, but the Lord of the Flies is silent on his ultimate ambition for the child.
    • Not explicit, but in addition to being a Satanic Archetype Betelguese takes many traits of the Lord of the Flies; similar name, is filthy and associated with bugs. Beelzebub likes his style.
  • People assumed Stratos of the Sumeragi Swordsmen was him in human form, based on gluttony when it comes to his team's Seven Deadly Sins due to being experimented upon by Sumeragi. This comes with a strong fly motif, his powers and personality: Stratos can transform into swarms of fly-like particles that can break down any and all matter, and as a guy with a truly insatiable hunger he uses it to devour anything in sight of him. He was even called the "Lord of the Flies". Though they aren't one in the same, the sheer amount of similarities led the true Lord of the Flies to be instantly fond of the guy and Stratos is one of his favorites in the pantheon.
  • Most dissapointed by the lack of fly deities in the House of Insects. He really doesn't like the Radiance, partly for reminding him of YHVH but also because of the spanner in the works her plagues would cause due to their impact on insect life. And she would welcome subjugating one of Lucifer's top generals to her own cause. He was pleasantly surprised elsewhere to learn the bug fascination of Agitha and the power over bugs by Shino Aburame, however they aren't interested in whatever he might try to sell.
  • Misty has refused to go anywhere near the Beast House ever since Beelzebub's ascension, by virtue of him being a fly the size of a tank with a penchant for electric spells and rapid maggot infestation. Beelzebub stays out of the House of Fire and Heat upon Rangaros' ascension, due to his desire to burn INSECTS!
  • Has an interest in the House of Food, due to his role as a demon of gluttony. Pac-Man would rather be left alone, but Midora, Gluttony and the Deviljho are alright with him showing up. Pennywise is amused by the fear Beelzebub could bring and his demonic nature, but otherwise ignores what Lucifer's faction is doing because he's content being a sadistic Child Eater For the Evulz.
  • A god of filth as much as gluttony, Beelzebub is a good friend of Papa Nurgle. He sides with the forces of chaos, though Nurgle isn't ideologically interested in the fly's cause. Lucifer is trying to get his right hand fly to stop seeing the Chaos God as the fact he represents stagnation and decay makes him diametrically opposed to Lucifer's vision of a dynamic changing world.
  • Welcome in the Diseases sub-house. Obviously not liked in the rest of the House of Health and Diseases, given his power over plagues. Anton Arcane often associates with flies, so he'd like to get Beelzebub's favor. However his interests don't give him any favor from the Lord of the Flies.
  • Despite Makoto, Kotone, and Yu's lack of affiliation to Chaos, he is willing to serve them… under certain circumstances. One of these requirements include assuming they are strong enough to be worthy of summoning him, capable of summoning his human form and various devils for fusions, and submitting to the "devilish" nature of a single individual. Both Makoto and Kotone know of the shady businessman by the name of Tanaka, and Yu knows of a lustful nurse in a part-time job at the Inaba Municipal Hospital, which pleases Beelzebub enough to be called at their will.
    • With Ren, who is more chaotic than the former three, Beelzebub is much more pleased about serving him. Still, he required making a pact with an "devilish" individual, in the Thief's case a paparazzi.
  • Though Beelzebub's true form is that of a giant fly, he has shown a series of other forms: an obese blue humanoid calling himself Baal Zebul, a gigantic, hideous rotting corpse riddled with maggots, Baal, actually his original self before he was demonized, and on one occasion a woman in dominatrix gear. Beelzebub particularly enjoys watching people try to figure that last one out. Probably his strangest incarnation is a white penguin with fly wings wearing a tuxedo. Nobody gets that one. Absolutely nobody.
  • Being a big-ass fly, even if he is a demon, Beelzebub comes off a delectable treat for any spider deity. As such, he stays the hell away from the House of Arthropods. He is straight up terrified of Ungoliant. Melkor didn't know how to feel about this; amusement at one of Lucifer's top dogs cowed by a former ally, or rather not wanting to get involved given Ungoliant was the only force of evil he feared and tried to eat him.
  • No one has dared ask him if he has a devil put aside for Freddie Mercury. Or how he responds to Ren, under Space Madness, threatening to lick a fly. That was too weird even for Beelzebub, and he initially thought that Ren Hoek was some sort of malformed mosquito.

[up]Actually, I think with the this rework, it would work on even Ameno-Sagiri theoretically. However, if he's actually younger than 2 years and 50 days, or older than 124 years, then he's "safe" from the Death Note.

Death Notes

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/deathnote_1.jpg
One such Death Note
  • Class Level: 3
  • Appearance: A black book with the words "Death Note" scratched on it
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil in the hands of Light and Mikami, leaning to Neutral Evil in the hands of Misa, otherwise True Neutral with great potential for Evil
  • Portfolio: Artifacts of Doom and Death, Murder Weapons, All Deaths Final (But Not In The Pantheon), Gift of Shinigami Eyes At A Cost, Which Shows True Names of People, Rendering Users Drunk on the Dark Side And Power, Strict Rules On How It Works, Sufficiently Analyzed Magic
  • Domains: Death, Hunt, Planning, The Abyss
  • Owners:
  • This notebook, when a name is written in it (the cover doesn't count), will cause that person to die. There are very strict rules that one must follow in order to properly use the note, but these rules are occasionally subverted by more cunning gods. One must take care not to overuse it, as excessive use of the Note can drive its user mad.
  • There are four known Death Notes so far: Sidoh's (which Ryuk stole and then dropped into the human world, and which is what Light used throughout the series), Gelus's (which was passed by Rem to Misa, and eventually Mikami, and then burned by Near), Rem's (which Light got after Rem died to protect Misa, and was temporarily given to the Task Force, and was later also burnt by Near), and Ryuk's (which stayed with him for the entire series, and which he used to kill Light in the end).
    • As for which Death Notes are in the Pantheon, Ryuk still has his own, Sidoh's was stolen back by him and "returned" to Light (before it was rendered useless by The Laughing Salesman), Rem is keeping her own, and Gelus's is with Misa. An unknown fifth one was requisitioned for Mikami's use by an unknown party, with Ryuk as the main suspect since he also got another spare for Light.
    • There was also yet another one that was given to Minoru Tanaka by Ryuk, who got it from another Shinigami, which then got purchased by their world's version of US President Donald Trump, after which—thanks to a new rule added by the Shinigami King—resulted in Minoru's death. As for Trump, he refused the Death Note, but decided to bluff the world into believing he has it.
  • Any writing material can be used to write a name on the Death Note, as long as it is applied directly, and is legible.
  • As for the exact rules on how to use the Death Note (apart from killing the person whose name is written on it), contact was established between the Shinigami King and the Court of the Gods, plus the other already-ascended Death Gods (at the time, these were the Discworld Death, and Death of the Endless; Final Destination!Death was not available). Due to how things operate in the Trope Pantheons, specifically how death works, and because of a certain incident, he decided to meet with the Court of the Gods.
    • First real contact occurred when one Shinigami noticed Ryuk writing certain names in his Death Note over and over again (among them Mysterion). He wanted answers from Ryuk, given that there shouldn't be that many humans who all share those names at once, and the mischievous Shinigami provided. After the exposition, the Shinigami King decided he wanted a word with the deities in charge.
    • Eventually, he got that meeting, and after a lengthy session (as well as the revelation that Rem is Back from the Dead so to speak), he decided that Death Notes in the Pantheon had to operate differently to avoid any more loopholes like what Minoru Tanaka did; the King had him killed for that. Despite not being applicable to be a Pantheon deity, he would keep in touch in the court to help patch more rules when more loopholes he doesn't approve of occur. The Death Note in the Treasury is just a replica for the sake of reference.
  • Now, here are the rules to using the Death Note in the Pantheon.
    • The User must have the Target's face in mind when writing his/her namenote  (and it must be on a single page) in order to keep other people who share the same name from being affected. Targets whose name has been misspelled four times will be safe from that particular Death Note (and if it was done on purpose, the User dies, and the Target is not rendered safe from that Death Note). Targets whose name has been written in two or more Death Notes within 0.06 seconds will be safe from those Death Notes, otherwise the first Death Note takes effect.
    • The Target will die of a heart attacknote  in 40 seconds after their name is written, unless the cause of death is written within that time (which can be written on a different page as long as the User has the Target in mind). However, that must meet any of the following conditions or else the heart attack will take place:
      • If successfully written down, the cause of death (COD) will occur no matter what and cannot be averted by other means either to forestall or even quicken it.
      • COD can be delayed for up to 23 days. However, this can be subverted by writing "dies from <insert disease here>", in which the Target will die at an appropriate time (even if it's more than 23 days) depending on the disease.
      • After writing the COD, details should be entered within the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
      • If the time of death (TOD) is specified within 40 seconds after writing the COD as a heart attack, the TOD can be manipulated and can go into effect within 40 seconds after writing the name.
      • The COD must be physically possible for that Target or could be reasonably assumed to be carried out by that Target. Suicide is a valid option for all Targets. Other lives must not be killed by the COD unless specifically made Targets as well.
      • COD can be written prior to naming the target (which must be written in front of the COD), but must be done within 19 days.
      • After the Target's name, COD, and TOD have been written in, the User may change it as many times as they like (by erasing what they wish to erase with two straight lines, since erasers and white markers will not count) as long as 6 minutes and 40 seconds (or the Target's death) haven't already passed since then. However, a Target's name cannot be "erased" and their death will still occur no matter what once it's been written.
      • If written COD is "dies of accident" for the cause of death, the Target will die from a natural accident 6 minutes and 40 seconds after the time of entry. As "Accident" is a condition of death, the User may write down additional details before that time passes.
      • If the COD and conditions of death are written in before the Target's name is, multiple names can be written as long as they are entered within 40 seconds and the cause and conditions are not impossible. In the event that the COD is possible but not the conditions, only the COD will take effect for that Target.
      • When the User writes multiple names in the Death Note and then write down one COD within 40 seconds of writing the first Target's name, the cause will take effect for all the written names. Also, after writing the COD, even if the conditions of death are written within 6 minutes and 40 seconds, the conditions will apply only to the Targets for whom they are possible, otherwise only dying from the specified cause.
    • All contents written in the Death Note will take effect even if the Death Note (or the parts used) is destroyed before the stated times pass. If the Death Note is destroyed before conditions can be written, a Target's cause of death will still take place. If it's destroyed before COD can be written, Targets will still suffer a fatal heart attack.
    • The following individuals cannot be affected by the Death Note:
  • In terms of ownership rules…
    • A person who touches the Death Note can recognize the image and voice of its Shinigami owner, even if the human is not the owner of the note. This only applies for non-ascended Shinigami; Ryuk and Rem are visible to all Pantheon deities.
    • Usually, if a Shinigami dies outside their world and leaves behind their Death Note, the note's finder would automatically become the owner, but the House of Life and Death makes it so that if Ryuk or Rem ever do (a second time in Rem's case), ownership does not transfer since they'd still be alive. As for non-ascended Shinigami, the King has banned them from the Pantheon to prevent confusion and extra Death Notes lying around.
    • If a User loses their Death Note or has it stolen, they will lose its ownership unless they retrieve it within 490 days, after which (or if they abandon ownership of it) they lose all memories involving the Death Note if they killed using it. Otherwise, losing the ability to see or hear its Shinigami is all that will happen.
    • When a User dies while their Death Note is on loan, ownership is transferred to the person holding it at that time. If a User has their Death Note stolen and is killed, the thief becomes its new User.
    • A User of two Death Notes may write down a Target's name in one of them and the COD in the other (even in the reverse order), and the death will still occur. This can also be accomplished by two Users working together, but they have to be touching each other's Death Notes.
    • Only six Death Notes are allowed to exist at a time in the "human world" (in this case, the Pantheon counts for all intents and purposes), but Death Notes owned by Shinigami don't count. Counting the Death Notes used by Light, Misa, and Mikami, this means only three non-Shinigami-owned Death Notes can work here; any Death Notes after that will work just like a regular notebook until one of the six is destroyed or a Shinigami takes one of them back to their realm. "Thankfully", all three current Users are on the same side for the most part, because six separate notes used by six different parties with differing agendas would've gotten extremely confusing.
    • One Shinigami is allowed to pass on Death Notes to only three Users at a time. However, it's possible for a single Shinigami to hand out up to six Death Notes - by handing three Users two Death Notes each, for example. In other words, one Users could potentially own all six Death Notes.
  • In terms of Shinigami Eyes, which enables a User to see a person's name and remaining life span when looking at them (though the latter is a moot point)…
    • A person with Shinigami Eyes can see the name and lifespan of another person by looking at their face (as long as they're not a Death Note User, including themselves). More than half of that person's face must be seen from head to nose when looking from top to bottom. The power takes effect even on photos and digital images of a person, no matter how old they are, but not on drawings, however realistic they may be, but the person has to still be alive (and in the Pantheon, if they've died in their original world). Their eyesight also becomes grade 3.6, regardless of their original eyesight, but will self-correct if the User puts on glasses.
    • Due to the fact that most denizens in the Pantheon are essentially immortal, changes had to be made in regards to inheritng them. Only Misa, Mikami, and Soichiro possess this ability, and Ryuk is not giving Shinigami Eyes to Light under the Shinigami King's orders.
    • The names a User will see with the Shinigami Eyes are the names needed to kill that person. They will be able to see a name even if it isn't officially registered anywhere. For example, looking at Tarzan with Shinigami Eyes will show whatever name was given to him by his birth parents before they were killed by Sabor, and Rose Quartz will show "Pink Diamond", but since she's older than 124 years, it's a moot point, though Steven will still show "Steven Quartz Universe".
    • As for less-sapient life forms (like pets unless they were born into the household), their names don't appear since any name they get is technically a "nickname" given by sapient beings. This also applies for certain creatures such as Pokémon (unless Arceus gave the names Himself, or if they're manmade such as Mewtwo), or the monsters hunted by the Monster Hunters, but other creatures do have names such as Shin Megami Tensei demons and Digimon do count for some reason.
    • Names of the following cannot be seen by Shinigami Eyes.
  • Finally, any transactions involving the Death Note will result in instant death by heart attack to both parties. The seller dies if they receive money, and the buyer does if they take the Death Note. Of course, not taking the money/Death Note will spare them death from that.
  • Any more rules must be discovered by the users, but the nature of the Pantheon means that no more rules can be found. If there are any discrepancies with how the Death Note works, discuss it in this page.
  • With the nature of other kinds of life forms in the Pantheon, the Shinigami King had these in mind.
    • Undead: Undead which possess a level of sentience and individually and which can be classified as biologically separate and independent from a horde should not be immune to a Note's effects. However, given their undead nature, specific causes of death that have been proven to kill or disable them must be written, otherwise the Note will have no effect, since cardiac arrest isn't possible for them.
    • Synthetics: Synthetics, androids and cyborgs should fulfil the following conditions to be susceptible to the Death Note's effects. Firstly, a verifiable level of sentience and independence. Secondly, a living soul and biological tether to life. As such, mechanical organisms with no biological or sentient components to speak of are immune, as are sentient Computer Viruses and/or malignant digital beings.
    • Nameless: Beings which have no legal name or identity to speak of will not have a name present when viewed with the Shinigami Eyes and thus be immune to the Death Note. However, when such a being acquires a name or term of identification that he, she or it is recognizable by, that designation is what the Death Note considers the name and is thus able to be written. A Super-Soldier with the designation "Alpha-001" will not be immune to the Death Note on the basis of identification as the Death Note considers the codename as the name.
    • Immortals: Immortals, by definition, cannot be killed and the Death Note will only work on a case-by-case basis. In general, beings with Complete Immortality (unkillable by physical means) are near-completely immune to the Note's effects unless the COD written is a specific way to kill them. For such cases this can only be done a total of three times by the owner of the Death Note if the Target is resurrected as per their immortality. Targets that rely on an Immortality Inducer such as an Elixir of Life, Soul Jar or Fountain of Youth can only be killed if the COD involves said source of immortality being destroyed or rendered impotent. Especially for beings which have their Soul Jar in several different parts, all parts must be destroyed simultaneously (at least a 0.01 sec time delay between each component) before writing the Target's name for the Death Note's effects to work.
  • To illustrate, here are some examples:
    1. T-800: Immune. He has sentience but not a living, biological soul. Emotions and feelings are provided by its learning mode. However, Terminators like Marcus (an organic heart and brain installed in an endoskeleton) can be affected by the Death Note.
    2. Cybertronians: Not immune. A brain module provides a sense of self since life is provided to them by their living Spark, a non-mechanical source of life given that it is a life essence that was part of Primus. Further proof that they are not immune is that they can be killed by biological illnesses such as the Cosmic Rust. Cybertronians reanimated by Dark Energon are considered non-sentient zombies and are thus immune.
    3. the Fazbear animatronics: Not immune since their sentience and sense of self is provided by the soul energy of Remnant. This includes the Funtime Animatronics despite their sense of self being garblednote .
    4. Any sapient being infected by a technovirus: Should the virus or ailment not have directly impacted or mechanically altered the heart, sentience, or soul of the individual, not immune. If the opposite is true, immune until as and when the condition is reverted.
    5. Victor Stone/Cyborg and Androids 17 and 18: Not immune. Despite being partially mechanical, both have sentience, emotion and a living soul. Android 16 is immune by virtue of being a Mechanical-type Android whose friendliness while genuine was programmed into him by Dr. Gero, the same reason he wasn't sent to Heaven after being killed by Cell.
    6. Eleven: 'Eleven' will not register despite the nickname being created due to lack of information at the time, as her legal name Jane Ives still exists and is known in the Pantheon. However, both that and her second legal name upon acquiring Jim Hopper as a foster father, Jane Hopper will be accepted.
    7. Lord Voldemort: Not immune, but only after destroying his Horcruxes. As a dark wizard whose soul compenents reside in seven Horcruxes, his true name of Tom Marvolo Riddle has to be written as well as the COD being 'all Horcruxes comprising his soul destroyed at the same time as his remaining component'. However, seeing as the seventh of those Horcruxes is Harry Potter, Harry's name would need to be written first before manually destroying the remaining Horcruxes. Only then would Voldemort be fully susceptible to the Death Note's effects. Similarly, Sauron would need to be wearing the One Ring on his finger for the Note's effects to work.

  • The following names have also been tested by Light and Mikami at the behest of their friends in the GUAL.
    • Black Orchid: Did not work, since it's a nickname and her birth name has yet to be revealed.
    • Mister Mxyzptlk: Did not work, as Overdeities are safe from the Death Note's effects.
    • Superman: "Clark Kent" doesn't work, but "Kal-El" does.
    • Nightmare Moon: Not affected, as she's an alternate aspect of Princess Luna, who's older than 124 years anyway.
    • Springtrap: Works when "William Afton" was written, thus confirming that the undead count.
    • Jason Voorhees: Works, thus further confirming that zombies are affected.
    • Soul Calibur: Doesn't work when she's in sword form, even if the name Elysium is written with her goddess form in mind. She's also older than 124 anyway.
    • GLaDOS: Didn't work because Caroline's surname cannot be found.
    • Kyoko Kuremi: Works when "Alphamon" was written and their true form was in mind.
    • Uka Uka: Works, proving even living inanimate objects can be subject to the Death Note.
    • Alex Mercer: Doesn't work since he's just a virus that took the form of the real Alex Mercer. "Blacklight Virus" doesn't work either.
    • Reinforce: Doesn't work on Eins due to being a tome that must've had a history of prior names, but works for Zwei.
    • Indominus Rex: Works since she's a man-made creation.
    • Big Al: Doesn't work since he's a natural-born dinosaur, and his given name was provided by humans.

  • After hearing of two alternate worlds where one of them got the Death Note each, Twilight Sparkle and Spike have decided to stay away from the artifact at all costs, especially the latter when his tale showed just how deep he could've gone just to protect Rarity if he had that thing.
  • In response to this video, the TPPD is considering trying that "Life Note" idea to make resurrecting innocents killed by the Note quicker and easier.

[up] Pronounciation doesn't sound right to me. Think it should be named Name Identification or just Identification since some of those tropes don't exactly to pronouncing names correctly.

Carry on otherwise.

Mugen Yoguruma, Goddess of Stealth Sequels (The Shadow of Yog-Sothoth, Infinite Colour, Muu-chan, Kishishi Lady, (Fragment of) Yog-Sothoth, The One Who Distorts the World)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mugen_blasterz.png
  • Greater Goddess, though might be closer to an Overdeity
  • Symbol: The Eye of Yog-Sothoth (a glowing yellow eye with a gear design)
  • Alignment: Appears as Chaotic Neutral, but is more closely to Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Kishishishishishishi, Possesses the Eye of Yog-Sothoth, Keeps Her Left Eye Closed Due to That, Time Master, Space Master, Reality Warper, Has A Lot of Power And Little Sanity, Impossibly Cool Clothes, Good All Along
  • Domains: Laughter, Insanity, Powers, Cthulhu Mythos
  • Allies: Yog-Sothoth, Cthulhu, Azathoth, Shub-Niggurath, Discord
  • Enemies: Nyarlathotep
  • One day, an albino girl with a medical eyepatch appeared in the Academy. People around her recognized her, but at the same time they couldn't tell who she was, so she slipped beneath everyone's notice. However, as things went on, strange things started to happen, most notably with some of the students being drawn into creatures told in the works of H.P. Lovecraft. All while the students saying that they know the girl ages ago.
    • Eventually, the student with the eyepatch suddenly disappeared for a while, and things started to calm down. However, in House of Time and Space, some gods heard an odd "Kishishi" giggling somewhere where Yog-Sothoth "resides". And there the girl was, who then removed her disguise to show her true identity as Mugen Yoguruma, the Mage of Yog-Sothoth. Apparently it was easy for her to sneak into the Pantheon due to her work not being recognized here and started messing around with people's "fates" and such. They didn't really have a good way to get rid of her after that so she sort of stuck around.
  • Mugen is a "Mage", a person who is infected by "Color", a type of corruption from the evil gods of Cthulhu Mythos (and some other monsters), corrupting the person's mind and turning them into monsters. Mugen was infected with the Color of Yog-Sothoth, gaining the ability to warp time and space. She then used her new powers to mess around, in particular using artefacts to infect people with Colors.
    • … Well, that is the story that she tried to spun. The truth is much more grand. In a world left undocumented, the mechanical god Demonbane absorbed the essence of Glyu-Uho to become the "Vortex Blaster", becoming strong enough to destroy the Great Old Ones, Outer Gods and their avatars and finally end the dead heat between it and Azathoth. The thing is, death of Azathoth would result in the destruction of every universe what do, did, would or wouldn't exist. This is where Mugen, the fragment of Yog-Sothoth comes in. She was able to extend the moment of Azathoth's death so that she can have a chance to create one last world where it can be reborn through an avatar of sort. Everything she did was a set up for hopefully get girl named Hatsuni Azana to become the who will remake the universe.
    • There is one aspect to her appearance, which was when she appeared in a crossover between Nitro+ heroines. At first she seemed to just be an Assist Character, using her Fist of Yog-Sothoth to help her summoner (even if she hits them with them), but in reality, she is the one to orchestrate the entire event after taking reigns off a girl called Another Blood. Her plan was to gather together the Necronomicon by stitching together remains of Al Azif across different universes, the Silver Key by recreating an incident that happened in Arkham City in the past as a "murder mystery play" starring the heroinesnote , and the Shining Trapezohedron which was inside a girl called Ouka in order to recreate the Ultimate Gate to bring birth to a new universe where Azathoth can be reborn. Yes, she turned a crossover into an interquel.
  • When asked about what is her relation with the Yog-Sothoth that was already in the Pantheon, she sort of shrugs. Is she a fragmented aspect of it when she was defeated, or a completely different version of it. She doesn't really care.
  • She really doesn't like Nyarlathotep, who she calls a "cheap imitation" of the actual deity, and is even more annoying than the Sphinx, saying that his "salvation" thing was more endearing than Nyarly's constant talk about humanity's darkness. The two of them play chess together, though, discussing stuff.
  • [Nyarko-san cast]
  • She is quite interested in the antics of LOL Rangers, Itazura Griefers and the Trollkaiger. While she hasn't really decided to which one to root for, she isn't planning to join the Trollkaiger due to Nyarly's icky tentacles being tied around it. If she would join, she would be called "Diamond Ranger"/"Itazura Diamond" note
  • There are some gods who really wish to lock her away, fearing that her actions would cause more problems than needed. The thing is that she is capable of escaping just about any magical seals placed on her if she wants to. Keyword being want, as she is willing to be locked away if needed.
  • One thing she is being cautious about are the Three God Tools, three artifacts that she used to recreate the Ultimate Gate. While she is not sure if it can be repeated like things are, it is better to be safe than sorry later on. Especially since all three of them are in the Pantheon.
    • First is the Shining Trapezohedron, an artifact that can be used to seal away Evil Gods and also be used to majorly hurt Nyarlathotep and those related to it. She was surprised that she found it in the possession of a boy named Mahiro Yasaka, as he is neither a pure hero or a pure villain. Upon further investigation, she learned more about the world he came from and those related to him such as Nyarko and was rather surprised that such a world could exist. She is keeping an eye of them to see how things turn out there.
    • Second is the Silver Key, which is one of few things that can threaten her as it can seal away her powers temporarily. She is surprised to hear that a girl named Abigail Williams had become the metaphorical Silver Key in an attempt to open a gate for the Outer Gods. When the two first met, Abby was immediately cautious of Mugen, feeling that there was something wrong about her. Mugen was feinting being scared of Abby to make her less intimidating to her as she doesn't want to do anything to her just yet.
    • Third is the Necronomicon, the world's strongest grimoire. While Mugen doesn't necessarily have it herself, she does have the soul of the grimoire, Al Azif, meaning that it doesn't matter who has it as she has authority over who can use it and who can't. Which is good thing, as there are more than one copy of the book.
  • She seemed to have grown affection forwards Discord, as he knows how to use his powers to cause all sort of playful havoc. Discord does try to teach Mugen not to use her powers to bring serious harm to others, though whenever or not this will actually work is in question.
  • While she has promised that she won't use any of the artefacts containing Colours, she doesn't guarantee that any of the other 13 Horrors created from them don't exist anymore. For example, some people have seen a werewolf-like being amongst the Hounds of Tindalos who she speculates to be the remains of the nameless terrorists who was corrupted by their Colour.

Reposting this because there was no feedback to this proposal:

I'm reposting my suggestions from before, since no one has given me feedback on either:

  • Valkyrie Squad, the Better-Armed Enemies of the Pantheon (Valkyrie Jager) - While the Jager Troops in the same game already had a fairly good arsenal of better enemy weaponry such as the Mkb 42 Assault rifle and the FG42 rifle (both of which outclass their Allied counterparts in the Thompson, Sten, and Grease Gun in terms of damage and range), the Valkyries have the same arsenal, but take this a step further by arming themselves with rare Neunfaust Launcher, which is far more advanced than the Panzerfausts carried by regular enemies. In addition, their snipers carry customized Swedish Mauser rifles, which are in many respects better than the Springfield rifle normally carried by the player. And finally, their officers wield the M712 Schnellfeuer machine pistol, which in enemy hands is far more deadly than the Welrod in a firefight.
  • South Dakota, the Goddess Who Wears a Flag On Her Head (BB-57, SoDak, Battleship X, Radio callsign N-E-B-C) - Not her clothes in this case, but rather her long-flowing hair is colored in the same red, white, and blue as the Stars and Stripes, which is an almost literal representation of the trope here. This is complete with a handful of white stars on her hair, if the red, white, and blue wasn't enough. She also carries with her a flagpole with an American flag-patterned banner.

[down] [tup] for Cagalli and Warpath. I feel you can do the trope justice. As much as I'd have loved the Fury Crew to reunite with their tank, I don't want that profile removed given the Treasures rework going on rn.

[up] Researched South Dakota just to make sure. That's why I was so late, get your [tup].

As promised, for every completed profile I post three suggestions. Rmpdc has allowed me to adopt Tank Goodness.

  • Cagalli Yula Athha, Goddess of Rebellious Princesses (Princess of Orb, Chief Representative Athha)(Gamma)
    • Potential House: Royal Personalities
    • Reasoning: She is definitely not the kind of person willing to engage in political neutrality or pacifist actions if it means standing idly by in war. Her father and country as a whole are devout pacifists. She ran away to join a resistance cell in another country against their wishes, without any care for her safety.

  • Oh Dae-su, God of Painful Tooth Extraction (Delta)
    • Reasoning: He wanted vengeance for the 15 years he spent in a private prison and the entire film explores his desire for revenge against his captors for imprisoning him. One of the most iconic scenes displaying his savagery involves him returning to the prison and interrogating the warden, Mr. Park, about the reasons for his imprisonment. The method of torture is, you guessed it, tooth extraction via claw hammer.

  • Warpath, God of Tanks (Epsilon)
    • Potential House: Military Technology
    • Reasoning: Warpath transforms into a tank. Not only that but he has the gait and personality of one too (if tanks were sentient). Boisterous, violent and more than a little deaf from lovingly using his gun turret all the time, Warpath is the quintessential tank commander.

  • The ConstructiconsMembers , Gods of Cool Construction (Devastator) (Gamma)
    • Reasoning: The Decepticon builders and engineers, they get shown fighting and building weapons for the Decepticons a lot, as well as many prominent features of Cybertron like the Forge (the gladitorial arena where Megatron fought) and Crystal City. Their ability to combine into Devastator makes them able to destroy in spectacular fashion at the same time.

EDIT: Sorry for the fourth suggestion. I tried to edit the post but some glitch keeps occurring on my end specifically for this post. I'll just leave it since it seems I can't solve the issue.
