Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

I have a first draft for Fran Bow's profile, but with notes as placeholder flavor text for now. Given the deliberate applicability of this game and that this is the first time I've cooked up an ascension paragraph, if anyone would like to suggest anything to be different, please let me know.

Before that, I'm also proposing a rework for a barebones profile that I think will be good to work on alongside Fran's (one of her enemies). I'll likely only get to finishing either of these in late April once my semester's over, but I am posting Fran for interaction suggestions as well.

Rework Proposal: Dr. Angus Bumby as God of Psycho Psychologist(Hall of Investigative Work)

Spoilers for Alice: Madness Returns as what's not in spoilers is relevant context.

  • Reasoning: The trope is about harmful mental health specialists. Bumby appears to be an intelligent well-meaning psychiatrist, but his method of therapy for children, which places much emphasis in "forgetting", turns out to be a means of turning kids into mindless objects of profit (or to uh, put it bluntly, traffic them as prostitutes). He even caused the Liddell family fire (to cover the crime of assaulting and murdering Alice's sister) that turned Alice insane, and years later, she's under Bumby's care, with him trying to make her forget the fire.

Some ideas for interaction suggestions, though more may come from the profile itself:
  • Friends with friendly skeletons and black cats
  • Enemies of mean doctors and (demonic) emotion eaters
Fran Bow Dagenheart, Goddess of Phlebotinum Pills (The Keeper of the Key)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fran_bow___duotine.jpg
  • Possible Halls: Medical Miscellaneous and Narrative Objects
  • Rank: Demigoddess, bordering on Lesser Goddess after finishing her pill bottle
  • Symbol: A white silhouette of her face with Tears of Blood
  • Theme: "Finding The Truth", "The White Rabbit Question"
  • Alignment: Neutral Good bordering on Chaotic Good (possibly Chaotic Evil if it is to be believed that she killed her family)
  • Portfolio: Constantly Curious Child Who Deeply Loves Mr. Midnight, Takes Duotine to Find Her Cat and Her Way Home, Somewhat Casual About Horrific Sights Out of Lighthearted but Inaccurate Innocence, Particularly Scared of Dolls, May Be Seeing the Supernatural Or Falling To Her Madness, (Possibly) Self-Made Orphan
  • Domains: Curiosity, Insanity, Creativity, Realities
  • Heralds: Mr. Midnight (her cat), Itward (her guardian)
  • Followers: TBD
  • Allies: Alice Lidell/Kingsleigh, Coraline Jones, Dipper and Mabel Pines, Dorothy
  • Enemies: Dr. Angus Bumby, Charlotte and Victor Deshayes
  • Poor Fran Bow's grip on reality was torn ever since she witnessed her dismembered parents and fled from home. Determined to leave Oswald Asylum and find her cat, Mr. Midnight, she took her Duotine pills which, although gave her a tormenting view of the world, aided in her escape. A fantastical journey followed as she learned about the different realities that the pills let her access. She met civilised flora and fauna, thwarted twins who meant to kill her, and reunited with her cat and Itward, all while avoiding shadowy Kamalas and the demonic Remor, who hunted her since the day her parents died. Fran wants the truth, and Remor shows a vision of her murdering her parents. Additionally, she was falsely reported as dead so that Dr. Oswald could experiment on her, but her new friends rescue her in time. To her awareness, she resides happily in the peaceful Ithersta, but not everyone completely trusts this story...
  • Palontras flew in with an invitation for Fran, addressed from the Trope Pantheons. Fran was anxious, but her friends encouraged her on the possible new adventure. She insisted on bringing Mr. Midnight and Itward along, and rode on Palontras' back towards the sky before arriving in a blink of light. Fran still wonders if the temples are connected to any of the 5 Realities of Existence (or more than one, like the Ultrareality). Although her pill bottle's been long empty, she was granted a seat as Goddess of Phlebotinum Pills on the grounds that the Duotine allowed her the means to craft her way out of many predicaments, make the friends she's so close to, and find her supposed happy ending. Even those who interpret her story differently agreed that the psychoactive stuff had a key role in carrying her journey. Naturally, she requested for her beloved cat and skeletal guardian to become her heralds so she'd remain close to them.
  • [Has a friend named/(actually inspired off of) Alice] [also link Cheshire here?]
  • [curious like Coraline]
  • [Pleased to meet the Pine Twins and exchange information about journals detailing the supernatural and of their connections to their authors]
  • [Fran knows Dorothy's story and was pleasantly surprised to find her in the Pantheon]
  • [Past experience with evil conjoined twins made her enemies of Charlotte and Victor Deshayes]
  • [Hates Dr. Bumby for at least two reasons, being an exploitative Psycho Psychologist and a maker of dolls (which she fears)]

No child should have to think of selling medication for food. Are you afraid?

[up] [tup] for Angus Bumby

She fears dolls? She'd hate Chucky, a doll possessed by a serial killer. Alice Margatroid isn't a bad person, but she does have many dolls she puppets around which can scare her. Alfred Drevis turns people into dolls to preserve their beauty, and he's not above targeting his daughter Aya to turn her into a doll.

  • Fears: Galactus, Unicron
  • Wary of: most Dragonball fighters
  • Annoys: Cthulhu
  • The setting of Gemini Home Entertainment is a setting where various visceral anomalies causing trouble. They appear to be alien, outside of an invasion their goals are unknown and they have plant-like traits. These hostile organisms are linked to and most likely caused by the Iris, also known as the Hungry Eye or Planet Nine. It is a rogue planet wandering throughout space and when it entered the solar system, it started by mutating the planet Neptune into something indescribable. It also considers Saturn and its rings as a "gateway". It is akin to an alien eye just a bit smaller than Saturn, and showed up from who knows where to invade the Earth.
  • The Iris' arrival was first foreshadowed by the Hall of Dreams and Nightmares, who complained of a dream where it blocked out the Sun. However, no-one expected who'd make the first line of defense against the wandering planet/abomination; Robot Santa Claus. As his base of operations is the Neptunian North Pole, he considers the Iris to be a colossal threat, one bad enough that he teamed up with the other two Santas to mount their defense. Though mildly amused by Santa fighting it, the Hungry Eye was not too concerned. That was, until it got the attention of Mogo the Living Planet. Soon, the Iris found someone in its own weight class and the Green Lantern planet saw no reason to hold back against it. The eldritch planet decided to cut its losses and retreat to interstellar space, recalibrating that it was no longer in a Cosmic Horror Story and had instead entered the Trope Pantheon.
  • The Iris regards Mogo as its perhaps its greatest opponent as though significantly smaller than it Mogo is stronger than the Hungry Eye because of their access to the Green Lantern ring. So long as the Iris remains in interstellar space there is absolutely nothing restraining them from teaching the Iris a lesson that you do not mess with "smaller beings" just because you are an Eldritch Abomination. The Rogue Planet is glad, however, that they represent the Genius Loci trope over Ego the Living Planet, since while Mogo is "police" Ego is "competition". For those wondering why, MCU Ego's plan was a mass Assimilation Plot to turn all other world into himself, like a much more effective and vicious version of the Iris' apparent goal. The Guardians of the Galaxy do not want something like Ego to show up again and have sworn to set up explosives in the Iris' brain and send it to hell.
  • The motivation of the Iris has remained obscured, but it can be inferred that one of its goals is to spread strange, alien biomass on Earth. These lifeforms act as its heralds and have informed a variety of its interactions with the Trope Pantheon. The Iris itself contains a mouth, throat, spine, organs, some gardens, a "mind", and a respiratory system. Which of course begs the question "what does it eat?". Being a Rogue Planet, the reverse question could be asked "who could eat it?" The Iris is not comfortable with the answer to this question as Galactus, by far the most well-known Planet Eater is in the same Hall...and Unicron is not too far away.
    • The Woodcrawlers are arachnid-like predators who can puppeteer humans and make "fake people", along with stealing people's voice. These entities lead the Iris to be interested in Ungoliant and her spawn, noting that she is like it; something unfathomable to man. However that's more bemusement than anything and they otherwise keep to their mutual feeding habits.
    • Those "fake people" are also products of Nature's Mockery. What's a fake person? They're a mass of red, sinewy Meat Moss that come to resemble people...though not up close. Only from afar and obscured by shadow. The Iris hopes to fix this bug, which has led it to study the Pop People. The Pop People consider Earth their property, of sorts, and believe the Iris is introducing competition. The Hungry Eye admits that, however it does seem to like what they're doing anyway. It considers them "kindred spirits", and they aren't the only ones.
    • Nature's Mockery are "plants" that are in fact organisms mutated by Deep Root Disease. This starts with a rash, progresses into nasty conditions like flesh decay and disfigures the body into something horrible without necessarily killing them. The House of Health and Diseases has advised that a) the House of Plants needs to work hard to purge any influence of the Roots and b) to Kill It with Fire, especially Nature's Mockery. The Iris has become curious of the representative for the Botanical Abomination, but only out of morbid intrigue than any aligning goals. After all, it is mum on its ultimate objectives.
    • Deep in the bowels of the Earth the Gardeners tend to their crops of flesh and guts, which become full-fledged gardens. And deep underwater the Gardeners make nests on oceanic trenches. The Iris wonders how the Kraeken would interact with them as it is curious where they came from. Another notable entity related to the Iris is the Skinwalker, who take living beings and incorporates them into itself.
  • The Iris was not, as it believed, the first threat from the world of Analog Horror. Instead, the trope was represented by the Alternates, led by the supposed Archangel Gabriel...actually Satan in disguise. "Gabriel" has stated that Earth is already "my kingdom"; he isn't fond of the competition, and has mentioned that a lot of other deities wouldn't be fond of it either. Said other deities mainly consist of more conventional hostile aliens like the Shroobs or the Harvesters; the latter are wondering if they could harvest the Iris itself. The Tyranids are another "rival", mainly by virtue of possibly wanting to eat away at the resources. As Iris appears wholly organic this would be akin to a bunch of flesh-eating maggots swarming on an eye.
  • While inscrutable, the fact that it isn't one to shirk opportunities to mock Earth and taunt humanity shows that the Iris is malevolent and not just Obliviously Evil or under Blue-and-Orange Morality. Of course, since all life associated with it proves imicable to natural Earth life means that the Rogue Planet is opposed by humanity. The Imperium of Mankind will absolutely try to kill the thing with weapons-grade Exterminatus. That said, outside of its clearly visceral traits the whole biology and nature of the Iris is unknown. The Hungry Eye is not merely interested in Earth too, but the whole solar system given the aforementioned corruption of Neptune and attempts at mutating Saturn. It has been on the attack for at least the past four centuries, as according to research the Great Red Spot of Jupiter is in fact a mutation caused by the Iris.
  • The SCP Foundation wanted to know what was going with the Great Red Spot as the Iris' actions seem to contradict how the storm was actually caused by a malfunctioning destroyer. They don't consider the Iris to be anything out of the ordinary by their standards, and have gone through their usual procedure of trying to secure, contain and protect both the Iris and the anomalies associated with it. Like many anomalies with an ego the Iris considers them frustrating and annoying. Amusingly, the Iris itself annoyed Cthulhu; it woke up earlier than he planned because the appearance of a living Rogue Planet messed with the "when the stars were right" prophecy.
  • The various plant-like anomalies brought by Planet Nine has caught the attention of Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing, who regard them all as abominations upsetting the natural balance. Captain Planet is also freaked out by the mutations and chaos that the Iris is causing, though the wandering planet doesn't consider him a threat. The Earth itself, Gaea, was enraged at the Hungry Eye's invasion and sees it as yet another hostile alien threatening her existence. Natives of Mars also consider the Iris a threat, due to the inevitable chaos the Iris brings to the Solar System as a whole. Whether it has a big plan for Mars like it does Earth remains to be seen, but the native Martians aren't taking any chances.
  • The Iris hardly has any real allies, even if it recognizes certain beings as kindred spirits; if it sees something similar to it, it considers them as potential rivals. However, it does see "a useful idiot" in Babidi, who after his failure at controlling Buu was looking for another Eldritch Abomination to control. The Iris chose to be said abomination for the wizard, but much like Majin Vegeta it sees the spell to power it up. Why would the Iris feel it needs even more power? Because it knows about the power creep of the Dragonball universe and that many of the Dragon team are capable of destroying entire planets at this point...that isn't something it's ever had to prepare for. It has also not expected Superman, given that he is sometimes written as strong enough to move planets as big as the Iris and durable enough to survive supernova. Memorably he moved a chain of planets from a dying galaxy.
  • Despite the apocalyptic results of the Iris it is no Omnicidal Maniac, at least as far as anyone can discern. This is why it considers Mr Shadow as a rival. They are both malevolent celestial bodies but if Mr Shadow gets to destroy the elements he will be able to destroy the universe, and the Iris likes living in the universe. In turn, the malevolent Antimatter being is concerned that by corrupting and mutating the solar system his target might be harder to get. However, any opposition is "just business". The Iris also considers Remina a rival but one that it understands a lot more, due to being a hellish, organic and massive Rogue Planet that showed up to nom on all the planets in the Solar System.
  • The SCP Foundation hopes that no serious conflict happens between the Iris and other eldritch planet monsters as they do not know what the resulting "cross-contamination" would be. One could only imagine the havoc a Woodcrawler made of Phazon or Fake People formed from material on Remina's surface would bring, assuming they are even compatible. And there's also the possibility of Lavos Spawn "setting up shop" on the Iris. The Iris considers such being to be rivals, but with planet Phaaze at least it muses on being something like itself. Another celestial body it has labelled as a rival is the Sleeper, who wants to corrupt other bodies into husks of rock and crystal. It's best not to think of what would happen if the Sleeper manages to compromise the Iris.
  • The Mondasian variant of the Cybermen have noted that the Iris reminds them somewhat of their own home world. While not alive, it was also a Rogue Planet and they were forced to become what they are today as a means of evolving. That said, this is merely an observation given nostalgia is an emotion and that's not their thing. They are considering researching the "fauna" associated/of the Iris to be utilized for their own purposes, however. Others have noted that in spite of having a growing influence on the whole solar system, the Iris doesn't care about Pluto since unlike Neptune it wasn't corrupted. Given the Iris is also known as Planet Nine, maybe it doesn't consider it a planet.
  • H.P Lovecraft likes to talk about the Iris and has also had dreams about it. Being a consummate force of a Cosmic Horror Story, the Iris finds him interesting. It has been communicating with Shub-Niggurath recently as the Hungry Eye sees something "familiar" with the Black Goat; a visceral Eldritch Abomination associated with lesser eldritch life-forms. What they "talk" about is one of those mysteries, and most think the Iris only allied with the Outer God out of pragmatism. The Iris also learned about the nemesis of the Epic Battle Fantasy Team, the Devourer; a monstrous (in multiple ways) gargantuan cyclops. They dread the idea that the Iris may consider the Devourer a kindred spirit, much less the distant possibility they're related

Made some improvements to the Pteranodon family. Any ideas for how they ascended?

  • Possible areas: Hall of Land and Sea Travel and/or Hall of Hobbies and Lifestyles
  • Symbol: A junior conductor hat
  • Theme song: Dinosaur Train theme
  • Alignment: All Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Civilized Animals, Casual Time Travellers, Predation Is Natural, Gender-Equal Ensemble, love to eat round, olive-green fish, the girls have eyelashes, the kids Speak in Unison when they're excited
  • Domains: Ornithodirans, time-travellers, adoption, rail travel, edutainment shows
  • Heralds: Their friends. Which they have a lot of. Especially the Conductor (AKA "Sonny Boy").
  • High priest: Ferrus
  • Allies: All sapient members of the Hall of Mesozoic Beasts (especially the Gang of Seven), Thomas the Tank Engine, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, the Herd
  • Enemies: The Dinobots, P.T. Boomer, Child Abuse Supporters
  • Fear: Tobias, Big Al, Rexy, Liopleurodon
  • Of interest to: The Doctor, Alan Grant
  • During the Late Cretaceous, the Pteranodon family live in a nest overlooking the Western Interior Sea, in what is now the Appalachia region of North America. It consists of the parents, their biological children Tiny, Shiny, and Don, and their adopted son Buddy, a Tyrannosaurus whose egg they found. They all love to take the Dinosaur Train to visit times and places all over the Mesozoic (and the Permian and the ice age, once each), and Tiny and Buddy are training to be junior conductors. The kids' second-favourite thing to do is learn about how the train works, they're close friends with the Dinosaur Train's conductor, and they're usually the first to ride on Dinosaur Train Industries' latest vehicles.
  • The family were ecstatic to learn that there were plenty of other 'saurs in the Pantheon, and are honorary members of the Hall of Mesozoic Beasts. The kids instantly became friends with the Gang of Seven, who are around their age and similarly friendly, even if the Gang don't understand the big words they use such as "leaves" and "the sun". Since Buddy is young, he's one of the few predatory dinosaurs that Petrie doesn't fear, and he was curious to learn why Chomper only eats insects.
  • The kids' minds were blown when they learned that the Pantheon had plenty of creatures from the Cenozoic, a time they'd only seen a glimpse of. The first human they met was Harry (with the bucket full of dinosaurs), and they thought he was a weird-looking theropod at first because he's so unlike any mammals they're familiar with. The next mammals they met were the Herd, who were wary at first because they'd almost died in an underground Lost World filled with dinosaurs, but the parents assured them they were friendly. While Buddy asked Diego about his Smilodon features, Mr. and Mrs. Pteranodon asked Manny and Ellie how it feels to let your kids go once they grow up. Also, the kids are friends with similarly-adventurous Cutie Mark Crusaders, especially since Tiny finds something oddly familiar about Sweetie Belle.
  • Within their halls, the kids are endlessly fascinated with Thomas the Tank Engine. Buddy once spent an entire day trying to figure out how he's alive, which only made everyone more confused. Their friendship with Thomas led them into an altercation with P.T. Boomer, who hated the kids' innocence and wonder. As a result, Boomer is one of the few people from any universe that the kids actively dislike.
  • The Pteranodon family are among to few gods who have been allowed to enter Isla Nubar, but their trip almost ended in disaster. They tried talking to the various dinosaurs, but at best, they were just ignored. At worst, they were almost eaten by a pack of hungry raptors. Worse still, the Dinobots hadn't been informed of their visit and mistook them for intruders. It's a good thing most of them can fly, because the parents decided it would be best to high-tail it out of there. This caught the attention of Dr. Alan Grant, who's fascinated with the workings of a time-travelling dinosaur civilisation. He visited them in their temple one day to ask them all about it.
  • Since that incident, they've avoided other non-sapient Mesozoans such as Big Al, Rexy, and the Liopleurodon. They were horrified when they learned that Tobias caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. Also, since they're from a Sugar Bowl, and Buddy especially tries to see the good in everyone, the kids have a hard time wrapping their heads around the concept of a Complete Monster. The other gods don't have the hearts to break their innocence. Mr. and Mrs. are very protective of their kids and have no tolerance for any Abusive Parents, especially the Child Abuse Supporters.
  • The Doctor is curious about how their universe's space-time continuum hasn't collapsed in on itself from all the Casual Time Travel. Their Eleventh incarnation once tried to observe the Pteranodon family from a distance while the kids played dinoball. However, he got bored and decided to join in, much to the parents' shock, but the kids loved his enthusiasm.

Alright. Time for some Work in Progress stuff on this first profile of mine. Given this is my first time, I may need some help with some of the other major details, namely, where to find a good picture. But for now, I'll lay down the foundations.

Feedback/Very Rough Draft Mode

The Zoombinis, Co-Deities of Logic Puzzle Roadblocks

Picture To Be Determined

  • Potential House: Challenge
  • Demideities
  • Symbol: To Be Determined
  • Theme Song: Zoombiniville
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Waddling Heads, Mix-and-Match Critters, Searching For A New Home After Theirs Gets Taken Over by the Bloats, Must Solve Logic Puzzles At Every Turn To Progress, Can Survive Various Life-Threatening Scenarios Without Suffering A Scratch
  • Domains: Puzzles, Logic, Migration
  • Allies: Professor Layton, The Smurfs, Robin, The Tactician
  • Enemies: Corrupt Corporate Executive Deities, The Riddler
  • The Zoombinis once lived peaceful, happy lives on their home of Zoombini Isle. Each differed in some manner, be it a different-colored nose, quantity/style of eyes, hairstyle, or feet. However, these differences mattered not to these industrious, determined creatures. All this changed one day when the Bloats arrived. They promised that their changes would ultimately bring further joy to the Zoombinis. Instead, they almost ended up a Slave Race to them. This was when the Zoombinis began their escape plan: they would flee the island they once called home and journey to a new land to settle down. This journey proved successful and from there, they founded their new home: Zoombiniville.
  • One day, a group of sixteen Zoombinis were exploring around Zoombiniville when they stumbled upon a mysterious door. Said door could only open if they arranged themselves based on a certain characteristic, this time feet. This was but one puzzle they had to solve on their way to their new home, so this one was solved no-different. When the door opened, they found themselves in a new, unfamiliar realm: the Trope Pantheon. It seems their days of exploring are far from over.
  • Entry on relationship with the Smurfs, a fellow blue species hiding away from someone wanting to exploit them
  • Entry on relationship with Professor Layton, a fellow puzzle solver
  • Entry on relationship with Robin and The Tactician, both of whom try to solve situations without any casualties or leaving anyone behind
  • Entry on why they oppose the Riddler, as well as any other sadistic puzzle creators
  • Entry on their exploits in the Hall of Food, given one of their puzzles involved serving food to others
  • Entry on the Zoombini's distrust towards Corrupt Corporate Executives, given their previous hostile takeover at the hands of one
  • Any other potential interactions I may have missed

Do people need to ask permission first before changing around name-related stuff on profiles? Altered the profile's for the Wasp King to list his real name first (Hoaxe) to match other profiles, and it occurred to me that requests were made for similar changes (such as the Metal Gear profiles and Lightning McQueen) beforehand as I made the changes. If I needed to ask on the matter first, my apologies.

  • Are you sure they would get along with all of the members in that Hall, even the Evil-Aligned ones? If yes, please explain why?
  • Ascension Idea: Their Train may have deviated to a different place unknown to them.
  • Fellow Rail Enthusiasts: Walt Disney, Gomez Addams, Sheldon Cooper, Alfred Hitchcock, Donald Duck. The first three have train models and model train sets, Hitchcock likes trains so much he put some in his movies (where there was at least one or two scenes set on a train), Donald like train models and riding trains (short to some short and his comics).

@aa1205 - The Zoombinis
  • Picture Ideas: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (For the ones with screenshots, you can try to crop them to fit for your profile.
  • Enemy Slavers would be, well, The Slavers and The Coachman. The Slavers might be too extreme of an example but that's up to you.

@Necromancer10 - The Noid
  • I feel like he should interact with the Trix Rabbit. Although they are advising different products, they both Mascot Villains that have a running gag of not being able to get the food product they are advising, all to make their product seem more desirable. Trix might oppose The Noid due to his food wastes but otherwise he might see the similarities.
  • Colonel Sanders and Ronald McDonald may have mixed feelings on the Noid. On one-hand, him sabotaging pizza delivery services could help their respective businesses. On the other, with KFC and McDonalds having their own pizza menus, it would make them a target to the Noid as well. They also don't want Domino's to have a solid hold in the fast food business (at least in the Pantheon).
  • The Teen Titans (Robin, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg and Beast Boy) love pizza as well (both in their OG Animated and GO incarnations)
  • Spongebob and Squidward have delivered pizza before.

He was acclaimed enough in this mercenary company to accompany Big Boss as part of the extraction team to Camp Omega. This medic was caught in the same helicopter crash in the attack against MSF, surviving but rendered in a coma for nearly a decade with an amputation and shrapnel embedded with his body. He was treated in the same hospital as the comatose Big Boss, both hidden away from their enemies of XOF with a plan being made for the newly christened Ahab to take the place of Big Boss. Using hypnotherapy and plastic surgery, Ahab became the spitting image of his commander in both personality and appearance. Unfortunately, XOF did find the hospital and Ahab was rescued by a masked Big Boss and Revolver Ocelot who both wanted to guide Ahab to becoming the extension of the Legendary Soldier. So while the true Big Boss is setting up Outer Heaven, another Big Boss leads his Outer Heaven against XOF forces and all other threats against his Diamond Dogs. Until Big Boss needs him for one last mission, Venom Snake will be there to take up his title.
  • Regarding how much Venom Snake is comparable to Big Boss, the two are practically identical in terms of skillset and appearance. It got to the point that the only differences that set them apart in the Pantheon proper were the fact Big Boss was reconstructed from body parts of his clones, and that V still has a mullet. The more blatant difference is that Venom Snake lacks the odd supernatural strength of Big Boss and the oddly fast Healing Factor that Big Boss holds. At least he has a versatile robot arm that can beat the daylights out of people. Not even Solid Snake knew about Venom Snake's existence, meaning that his existence as the phantom of Big Boss was that well hidden from people. Even in the Pantheon, nobody could tell if Big Boss is at the forefront of Venom Snake pretending to be him. Either way, it doesn't detract from how dangerous he is, even when living in another's shadow.
  • Ocelot is the person who saved V from impending doom and was the military advisor for Diamond Dogs at least until Ocelot would leave for America to join FOXHOUND. There are actually a lot of parallels to Ocelot's journey that would go past V's time, such as brainwashing himself to think he is a Snake, leading Outer Heaven against the Patriots, and even using a prosthetic hand after losing the old one. Though Ocelot will always say he is on the side of Big Boss, he would also be on the side of Venom Snake if it means helping Big Boss do the same advisory role as before. Interestingly, Ocelot drops the bombastic attitude he has been known for to become serious with his statements. Not that it is a sign of hostility towards V, but to showcase that since he is among true allies, he does not need to play his character up.
Venom Snake: So you planned to have your digital reconstructions of Big Boss and his sons pop from the ocean, presented as if it were Mount Rushmore?
Ocelot: It was a bit for theatrics.
  • When it comes to the Patriots or Cipher as it was called at his time, Venom Snake could only feel sorry for it deteriorating. With Big Boss leaving, it fractured harshly and it allowed XOF to destroy Militaires Sans Frontières with little pushback. Hearing tapes on how Zero did his best to shield both himself and Big Boss and how XOF's atrocities led Zero to create the A.I.s as he lost trust in humanity to manage themselves, V would be lying if he said that he couldn't emphasize. That being said, he also knows the dystopia that these Patriots created afterward, so wiping out the Patriots once and for all is not a desire, it's a necessity. He would be there at Big Boss's call if they have to return the Patriots back to zero, something that V swears that'll be what his purpose in life is for the rest of his days.
  • Liquid Snake is furious that his father's decoy is in the Pantheon, especially after being led for so long, thinking that V was Big Boss only to find out the man shared no blood with himself. Liquid Snake always had a deep existential hatred for Big Boss, believing that Big Boss chose him to carry the inferior genes of his clones. Ironically, Liquid Snake is not the inferior clone of Big Boss between him and Solid Snake and still believes that he lacks better genetics. Venom Snake knows the baggage that Eli spouts out is completely false but does not think that he should be the one to break the truth to him or even if Eli could accept it. Venom Snake will always scoff that deep down, the person called Liquid Snake will always be that angry kid he found in Africa. He did not hold back when it came to bombing Eli's stronghold and burning nearly all the Child Soldiers under his command, so it is not unexpected for V to be willing to hold back even less against him. He will make Eli wish he shot himself with the pistol V gave to him.
  • Venom Snake's final battle against the then-rookie Solid Snake and regards Solid Snake highly for his accomplishments then and afterward. That is not to say being taken down by a single soldier downplays V's abilities as the only way to defeat him was to bombard several missiles to his direct face and maybe have the impending atomic-like explosion finish him off. Venom Snake would like to say he wants to test Solid Snake's abilities once more in better circumstances, though considering that Solid Snake leads an anti-Metal Gear organization, that more pleasant outcome is doubtful. That final firefight's end is something that V reminiscences on the occasion as it was that moment when the weight of being Big Boss was finally taken off his shoulders.
Venom Snake: I guess... my battle... really is over.
  • He did not think he would have such high opinions on the son of Hal Emmerich or at least thinks that the one codenamed Otacon would be a functional person just by having Huey Emmerich as his father. Huey did kill his first wife and tried to experiment on his son, so that concern is warranted. It was a pleasant surprise to find that Hal did not grow to be like his father, he instead grew up to be the antithesis of his father. The young Emmerich grew to be courageous and desire peace, unlike his cowardly father who went on to be a Mad Scientist who jumped on building nuclear weapons. It is honestly sad for Venom Snake to see Hal Emmerich at all, reminded that his father was once a good person to their people before his betrayal. V could tell Otacon all of his father's misdeeds and how this young man defied his mistakes... though does not want the man to share what he has with his father. He does want someone to see the good image of his father become a phantom.
  • Colonel Volgin absolutely hounded Venom Snake when he was the Man on Fire, running on hatred for his old foe Naked Snake even though by all accounts he was dead. That said, when Volgin did realize that the one he was chasing was not his greatest foe, he let go of his hatred and died at that moment. Not that Volgin likes Venom Snake since he's still one of his enemy's allies, a lookalike to boot. Venom Snake whenever he sees Volgin grabs his water gun and starts spraying, hoping that will extinguish Volgin. It is an annoying tactic, though Volgin finds it surprisingly effective.
  • Much like the one he is replicating, Venom Snake smokes though the difference that he carries is that V uses the phantom cigar, aka an electronic cigarette. In layman's terms, Ahab vapes. But the phantom cigar is special because it contains Wormwood which speeds up his perception. This led to a funny story where Smoker went to visit Outer Heaven under the World Government's orders with the hopes they could have good relations with Big Boss. Venom Snake who was guided by him sparked Smoker's curiosity with the phantom cigar. V gave it to him and much to Smoker's confusion, his brief puff had lasted from day to night. Venom Snake gifted some Wormwood to Smoker as a good gesture and Smoker has been tempted daily to use it up out of boredom.
  • Pazuzu would like to take credit for taking over Venom Snake at his lowest points. When Ahab does something that is immoral, he envisions himself as Demon Snake, the monstrous side of the Big Boss legacy. The shrapnel embedded into his head becomes a horn and the blood that taints his entire body. In effect, V has become a demon whose the embodiment of violence and death that comes with his line of work. Whether or not an actual demon, much less Pazuzu, possesses Venom Snake, he denies it for one reason alone. He would point out that because how can a demon take over another demon?
  • Even though he should not have invented this by all accounts, Venom Snake somehow had R&D develop wormhole technology that he could literally transport people he was ballooning across time and space to be extracted. It was admittedly expensive and may have initiated the subsequent collapse of another dimension but it is VERY useful in the Pantheon. That is how Venom Snake managed to transport many new recruits and rescued soldiers to the arms of Outer Heaven, even if they have to see some… disturbing stuff as they’re being shifted across reality.
Rize: Boss, are you sure that we should see zombies while we’re going through there?
Venom Snake: Just don’t touch them and you’ll be fine.
  • The Venom Symbiote for a period of time latched onto Venom Snake and the soldier became one of the most dangerous people in the entire Pantheon at these moments. How it bonded with Venom Snake is a long story but the Venom Symbiote was detached and placed in a jar, which Outer Heaven subsequently stole. Venom Snake out of curiosity had it latched onto him and since the Venom Symbiote was fueled by hatred, Venom Snake's own powerful feelings managed to drive the Venom Symbiote to relapse on all the Character Development it had on becoming more heroic. The result is a Venom Snake possessed by the Venom Symbiote, being strong enough to fight against those who can lift entire Metal Gears. That said, what ended this relationship was V realizing that the Symbiote made him act more like Demon Snake the more he utilized it. All those feelings of rage are amplified by the alien, something that would become a liability to Outer Heaven. Plus, Venom Snake was always on the fence about using a parasite as a weapon considering his history with them. So Venom Snake contacted Eddie Brock, met up at a diner, and gave back the Venom Symbiote after apologizing for using it for so long. Eddie Brock would give a sheepish thanks, though seeing a horned man walk into the diner all bloody would surely terrify anybody. Also before he left, V said to Brock that the Symbiote should not go near the playlist. There is only so much Eminem he could hear.
  • The Gravemind are creatures that Venom Snake makes a priority to eliminate. It is due to the fact that he sees them along the same lines as the vocal cord parasites that XOF used against his Diamond Dogs and was meant to be thrown against humanity to remove the English language. Additionally, their zombified hosts bring to mind V the deadly SKULLS that repeatedly attacked him, and those zombies sort of fill that same role. In short, these biological weapons are weapons that could surpass Metal Gear itself if not checked. If Venom Snake sees any hints of the Gravemind or anything along those lines, he will have the necessary weapons dropped on him so that he could deal with them appropriately. Those creatures live and die on his orders, and he is picking the latter for the sake of everybody that stands on the earth.
  • Hassan of the Cursed Arm found a good connection with Venom Snake for the fact that they are both people who have taken the identities of great men and do not know if committing to this role is Worth It at all. Either way, they are duty bound cannot just quit as there are so many people relying on them to do their part. Hassan of the Cursed Arm is perhaps one of the few who could tell if it is Venom Snake or Big Boss from a glance just by looking at his robot arm's positioning. Also, the fact that nobody seems to notice that Venom Snake has a horn on his head. It is a weird conundrum that Hassan of the Cursed Arm cannot help but notice.
  • Despite respecting Venom Snake's skills are a military leader (and for inadvertently had the man who assassinated Josef Stalin killed), Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov has very few kind things to say to Venom Snake for utterly annihilating so many Red Army soldiers during the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan period. He murdered, beat, and kidnapped so many Soviets that Zhukov wanted to gather forces to counterstrike against Outer Heaven. The issue for him is that in typical Big Boss fashion, the soldiers that he had taken away usually by the Fulton were convinced to defect to Outer Heaven themselves. As the USSR embraces camaraderie, it would be difficult for any Soviet Union soldier to raise guns against former friends. Plus, Zhukov might have overestimated the support he’d get in the homeland over this and only figured out he was hung out to dry much later on
Zhukov: Where are the laser guns? The superpowered soldiers? I am avenging our brethren and all I got is rusted World War II equipment and conscripted minorities meant to be disposable?!
Random soldier: I-I think we can effectively use the equipment we’re given, s-sir-
Zhukov: NO, WE FUCKING CAN’T! Men, retreat. We are going back to Moscow and I will strangle-
Venom Snake lowers the binoculars down.
Venom Snake: To be honest, I feel bad for this man. Respectable leader, only to be dealt a bad hand by his higher-ups.
Ocelot: Even the United States doesn’t want to make a mess with Outer Heaven without farces, so it’s unsurprising that they would have thrown even Zhukov into the trash if he really wanted this
Venom Snake: I supposed so… what if he does come back?
Ocelot: Then do what you always do. Infiltrate and destroy.
  • Sousuke Sagara got invited to visit Outer Heaven to see something undisclosed. Even though many labeled Outer Heaven as terrorists, curiosity got the better of him and he went. Going there, he found himself ushered into a room where Ocelot was torturing his nemesis Gauron while Venom Snake watched. Gauron was naked, his face black from punches, and stab wounds on his thighs. Venom Snake informed that Gauron was hired as a terrorist targeting Outer Heaven but "Big Boss" managed to capture him. They invited Sousuke knowing his history, believing that he can have Gauron talk. A barely conscious Gauron started muffling to Sousuke on all the terror he would unleash onto his friends with as much spite as he held beforehand. Sousuke did not even think when he knocked over Gauron, kicking him angrily in an act of vengeance. It was then that Venom Snake said to Sousuke that Gauron was already knocked out from the pain, giving him a space in Outer Heaven until they get Gauron to talk. In a few days, they managed to, though Sousuke knows that what he helped with to get such important information is nothing to justify. What they did to Gauron after, he did not know but he hoped that if Gauron did survive, he would not speak of all the nail removing, waterboarding, and hallucinogens that they inflicted on the terrorist. That "Big Boss" whom he met consistently during his stay made a strong impression on him, almost making Sousuke consider joining them. Almost.
  • Lord Chaos (yes, that Lord Chaos) feels pity for Venom Snake upon learning his existence is actually inconsequential. If Venom Snake died before his destined final battle came, there is no TIME PARADOX to be had. The man could have been replaced by another double or even the true Big Boss against Solid Snake and the timeline says that he is inconsequential to it all. Why Lord Chaos of all people feels this pity because he can oversee timestreams it brings a dreadful thought that a person's role in their life can just be filled by something else, rendering their existence meaningless. It would be akin to having Garland's identity as Chaos be taken by somebody else and there would be nothing different. That would make even him go into an existential crisis.
  • Tenma is one of the few who knows Venom Snake's past as a medic, being briefed on it before attempting to perform an operation on him. Venom Snake wanted that horn of his removed as he considers it a liability, so enlisted a certain Dr. Tenma for its removal. What makes the shrapnel so dangerous to remove is not only the likelihood of a hemorrhage and also the extensive brain damage potentially becoming more severe than it already is. Even though successfully removing metallic objects from the head may have worked badly for Tenma long ago, he would try to help V as best he could. After much analysis, Tenma had to break to Venom Snake that the surgery would go likely badly for him, as tissue already formed around the shrapnel thanks to staying on it for too long. If he did the surgery, Venom Snake would have to go to extensive care for months, years perhaps until he completely healed. V was disappointed in such a revelation, though thanked Tenma for his persistence in finding a solution. At least they became friends after, with Tenma given a swell surprise at V's medical knowledge.
  • Boba Fett has been particularly keen on starting a relationship with Outer Heaven. Not for hiring Outer Heaven to protect his territories as that would be the antithesis of his fight for autonomy. He believes that having strong military allies would be beneficial as that could open trade for weaponry and mercenaries. Those are things hard to come by without scrutiny, though Outer Heaven must be kept at a distance. Boba Fett has seen Venom Snake and Big Boss at different intervals and could tell they are not the same person despite sharing the same appearances and traits. He could even tell that Venom Snake is a real one considering that the real Big Boss only shows up at important meetings between them than the trivial ones that Venom Snake goes to. He is also a bit afraid of Venom Snake to be honest, seeing how attracted mercenaries are to Outer Heaven on Venom Snake alone, making Boba Fett wonder how more dangerous Big Boss is to be the one calling the shots.
  • Bucky Barnes never thought there was another amnesiac soldier using a prosthetic arm that was put out of commission for several years until he encountered Venom Snake. Venom Snake and he fought as Bucky was infiltrating Outer Heaven to analyze if Outer Heaven is holding nuclear materials. He barely managed to get out of the way when a certain ROCKETO PUUUUNNCCHH!!!! was shot toward him. Their fight was rather fierce, with the Winter Soldier finding himself nearly outpaced by Venom Snake's strong CQC. It was only that Bucky Barnes managed to rip the rocket launcher Venom Snake had on him and fired it multiple times directly at him that it provided Bucky an opening to escape the incoming hordes of soldiers ready to hunt him down. He managed to leave Outer Heaven in peace, though regarded that the "Big Boss" he fought was nothing to scoff at. He is willing to say that he was pretty good for a mercenary.
  • Venom Snake straight up thought he was hallucinating again when seeing Sharo Kirima because she looks exactly like a certain person whom he still feels guilty for not removing the other bomb in time. Sometimes, he just watches Sharo Kirima in the distance, thinking that she might disappear like a ghost. Sharo meanwhile, is wondering why her crush's boss stares at her. Or that he has a box with someone who almost looks like her on it. She is beginning to think that there are more alarms raised for her than ever as long as she stays in this Mother Base place.
  • Kilgore may be an American military but is friends with those who compose the Big Boss identity due to their shared appreciation for warfare. Not to say that it's enough for Kilgore to just abandon his country for Outer Heaven, though finds himself swayed by the charisma of Big Boss. Although, even he thinks Outer Heaven goes a bit too far such as taking children to raise them as fighters for their nation. Also, Kilgore was present to attend a funeral on Outer Heaven's Mother Base and saw something that gave him a strong impression. He thought it was standard scattering ash at sea but never in his life, had he expected V to take an urn and rub its ashes across his face before ordering his men to create synthetic diamonds from their ashes. A normal person would ask what the hell is wrong with him, but everyone stood proudly as their leader recognized his men's sacrifices. That presence makes even those unaware of the Big Boss legacy tremble.
Venom Snake: I won't see you end as ashes. You're all diamonds.
  • Rattlesnake Jake is not in the good graces of Venom Snake all because of one accident. Jake found himself trapped in the battlefield (one of those regional conflicts that somehow pop up for a bit) and slithered his way across the battlefield. Then as he slithered around the place, he was suddenly grabbed by a metallic arm. It was probably a soldier who mistook him for a gun thanks to the end of his tail. On instinct, Rattlesnake Jake bit the one who grabbed him, Venom Snake, on the chest and proceeded to slither away as Venom Snake. Before losing consciousness as he was dragged away by his men to the extraction chopper, all Venom Snake could breathe out is, "Not... again... Quiet..." as his medic injected the antidote into him. V had to spend a few days in the infirmary, with Ocelot watching after him every chance he gets.
Ocelot: Come on, let out your poison.
Venom Snake: I am... doing my best to expel it... c-can you... get out of my private space, Ocelot?
Ocelot: No can do, Boss. If you faint, then I am there for you every step of the way. If you're in a punch, then I'd send all the choppers you need. If you smell, then I have to throw a bucket at you to make sure you're awake
Venom Snake: Adam, get out of my bathroom.
  • When Venom Snake has a birthday party, it is always a surprise party. Even if his men knew that he was not the real deal, they would follow him to their graves. Venom Snake always is on the brink of tearing up whenever these parties happened as he is so touched by their gesture.

"V has come to..."
