Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@Hunter: There used to be a blurb about him being able to take on Amon despite him being a bloodbender. What happened to that?

Hero Killer Stain might also be a problem given he only needs to taste his target's blood to paralyze them or something. And since the Hunter uses a lot of blood...

Add segments pertaining to them and you'll get a [tup].

What additional interactions should I add for them?

Fae, Goddess of Required Party Members (Divine Dragon, Fa, Murderchicken)

  • Symbol: Her dragon form
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Required To Join In Order To Get The Best Ending, Badass Adorable, Killer Rabbit, Dragon Form Is Like A Really Cute Giant Goose, Several Centuries Old, Too Limited Dragonstone, Third-Person Person
  • Domain(s): Dragons, Children, Long Life, Character Selection

  • Allies: Roy, Lilina, Tiki (as an expy of her), Nowi, Nah, Hector, Ninian, Eliwood, Lyn, Corrin, Wendy Marvell, Paarthurnax
  • Enemies: Grima, Gharnef, Anankos, Ornstein and Smough, Acnologia, Miraak, Alduin
  • Fears: The Dovahkiin
  • Sometimes, in order to get certain results, certain members need to participate. Sometimes, they're a liability if you do, but you have to suck it up and bear it, all for the sake of the story, a better ending, or even some beneficial additions later. And the "lucky" candidate selected by the Court via grab bag was Fae, the Divine Dragon of Elibe, and she who needs to survive to track down the real villain of Roy's story Jahn, the man(akete) behind King Zephiel.
  • As for who she is, Fae is a Manakete from the hidden Manakete village of Arcadia. Chronologically, she was first seen standing guard in a house at the Nabata Desert while Eliwood's army was fighting bandits to reach Pent. She also hinted on the existence of hidden items around the place.
    • She would meet his son Roy several years later when he visits Arcadia, but was forbidden to follow him, especially with the current war. Despite that, she managed to sneak out, and then be captured by Bern before Roy rescues her, after which she joins up. At the end of the war, she returns to Nabata, where she fades from Elibian history.
  • She was happy to see Roy and Lilina upon finding them in the Pantheon, after they had parted pays after defeating Jahn and restoring Idunn, and also got to meet their parents. Also, now that they are all deities, she doesn't have to worry about outliving anybody, which was a sentiment Tiki also shared.
    • There were those who worried that her encounter with Lyn might trigger hostility, but her early encounter with Tiki (as well as potentially meeting Fae once before) ensured that that wasn't the case.
  • In her time at Roy's army, she hadn't been allowed to partake much in battle, mainly due to how limited her dragonstone was in terms of usesnote . Thankfully, her excellent Resistance allows her to sponge magic attacks without wasting its uses, which only happens when she has to attack an enemy.
  • Compared to all manaketes after her and Tiki before them, Fae's dragon form looks like a fluffy yellow goose-like thing that wouldn't look out-of-place in an Easter basket. Still no less dangerous, though.
  • Fears the Dovahkiin for…well, hunting dragons, and what would happen after that. Whenever she encounters one, she always tries to hide, either behind Lilina, Roy, or Tiki (as well as Marth after the elder Divine Dragon introduced her to him).
    • She also hates Miraak for the same reasons, with the added bonus of being a narcissistic cult leader also out to brainwash any dragon he could find.
    • That said, she's on better terms with the Dovahkiin's mentor Paarthurnax, as he's a dragon who turned against his species' nature to dominate and destroy. It helps that he's acquainted with Eliwood and Ninian (Roy's parents, maybe in Ninian's case), and is willing to help them out with many evil dragons in the Pantheon. Especially his brother, Alduin.

  • Avoids: The Lanius
  • These telepathic Slugs were shunned in the Galactic Federation for their constant thievery and attempts at manipulation.
  • Deceit, theft, trickery, all words no strange to a lowly scoundrel and other such types of scum. For every honest character out there in the universe, you have one who will stop at nothing to lie, cheat, and steal their way to the road of personal happiness. In the case of the nebulae dwelling Slugs, it is a way of life. Time and currency are always spent in the pursuit of pleasure and leisure, even if it comes at the cost of the happiness of others. Gifted with the ability of telepathy to see past the nebulae of their homeworlds the Slugs have turned this power into perhaps their greatest asset. Their race is shunned and seldom seen as a result but hasn’t stopped them from continuing their ways.
  • For a few months long strings of theft in open space were being investigated by the House of Justice. Members of the Engi soon took interest in these cases and weighed their opinion on the handiwork being the work of the Slugs, being all too familiar with their tactics and recognizing that some of the crimes they committed could not have been possible without their powers. With their help, Captain Commando and his team were finally able to track down the perpetrators’ whereabouts in a nebula not too far from the Pantheon. With the knowledge that nebula clouds were pretty much the Slugs’ element they jumped through the sector with caution until finally they had caught up with the reputable Slug gang hiding out in an abandoned space station. Despite the group’s methodical discretion the Slugs’ telepathy was able to detect them first and were able to get the jump on them. A fight ensued but despite the sudden disadvantage they were able to defeat the criminals in the end. Despite the loss, the Slugs were able to get the last laugh in the end. To make their business in the Pantheon easier some of the Slugs had the idea of “convincing” the Court of Gods to ascend their entire race and it eventually went through around a week after the incident.
  • Befitting their hedonistic nature many Slugs have taken to piracy and their ships are of one of the many types seen bearing the signature purple stripes. Many of the ones that don’t still find their business with them one way or another, usually through illegal trade or information. For this reason, many Slugs have formed quite the number of agreements with the likes of Jabba the Hutt, Ridley, and the Eliksni at some point or another. Against the likes of the Space Sheriffs and Team Lightyear breathing down their necks they find alliances to be beneficial. To further deal with them the Slugs have also hired mercenaries such as Psy-Crow and Felix, though the Slugs aren’t ignorant to the latter's own treachery.
  • If they’re not hiding out in interstellar clouds then they’re probably out in the House of Crime due to its authorities being solely the Pantheon’s own underworld, though they still prefer to be in their own element. The Slugs are quite interested in acquiring items foriegn to the universe they hail from, if only to keep furthering their indulgent lifestyle. Some deities have found a better life within the Pantheon’s many halls, so why shouldn’t they? Their home universe follows a war spanning a galaxy, after all.
  • Slug telepathy has many applicable uses. From direct communication to the mind, scanning for life, and assessing mental states, to outright mind control, immunity to it, and waging psychic battles with beings possessing similar abilities. It’s even potent enough to surpass the capabilities of most sensors when inside a nebula and for that reason many if not all of their ships do not have such systems installed. Of course, it becomes a hindrance outside of such Space Clouds but given the other reasons they don’t stray from the nebula’s protection it doesn’t usually come as a problem.
  • A recurring tactic of theirs is resorting to hacking to sabotage key systems ranging from the one that controls doors to the ones that pumps in oxygen. Pretty underhanded, but considering this regards the Slugs it is par for the course. One time a group of Slugs upgraded their Hacking system and decided to test it on a space station out in the middle of nowhere. The bug hit the room that controlled the lights and for a few moments the entire building was consumed in darkness. Following an hour after they came back on the Slugs saw a red bean-shaped being get tossed out the airlock and into the emptiness of space. Turns out the Crewmates were in that particular station and mistook the lights getting cut out as the work of the Imposter leading to their decision to single out that one person from their group. By sheer coincidence, they were correct.
  • They get their name from being large, human-sized slugs. A shocker, we know. They’re not slow, but they certainly are slimy (in more ways than one, in this case). On top of sticking to one’s clothes for weeks, they can also apparently patch up hull breaches and for that reason it’s standard for ships to exude them. The vain race known as the VUX are described as a cross between “a green octopus and a banana slug”, among other unpleasant and hideous features. This apparently was what allowed the VUX to be willing to work with their kind, if only for the fact that they somewhat tolerate them more than anyone else. For the Slugs, they only see working them as a means to an end and are largely neutral with humans, viewing them as just one of many sets of aliens to cheat out of their valuables.
  • Ever since a group of Engi and Lanius tipped off Star Fox of their existence the mercenary team has since been a great thorn to their operations outside of their home turfs. While the Slugs don’t stack up to the greater enemies they’ve faced over the years they’re still careful not to underestimate them or their cunning. They’ve learned this well when a Slug Assault ship not only hacked the engines of Peppy’s Arwing but also teleported a Stun Bomb on Slippy’s Arwing, simultaneously taking both out of the engagement though the assailants were eventually taken down.
  • Beam weaponry on spacecraft isn’t unheard of, but some of the Slugs can take the credit for the creation of Anti-Bio Beams. While they’re incapable of actually damaging the hull, its true purpose comes in the form of directly killing the target ship’s crew. An insidious weapon to be sure, and a good example of the Slug’s pragmatism though thankfully they’re scarcely seen or even used. The Dominators have reminded many of the Slugs of such beam weaponry if it was built to be used by people. Through mingling with some of the Pantheon’s criminal elements some Slugs have acquired modified Dominators of their own to better defend against the Pantheon’s more dangerous combatants.
  • The Peregrine Falcons and The Sparrows Team are no strangers to fighting extraterrestrial forces, and the Slugs are no different. While they’re no invading force, but the lengths in which makes them a danger regardless. At one point, the teams decided to utilize their Super Vehicles, which are also called Slugs, against them in one operation. They’re not fond of them because of that on top of the fact that none of those things look anything like them. Some of them are even separate living beings, even. On the other hand, they’re also interested in acquiring such vehicles of their own either through stealing and/or reverse-engineering them.
  • Infamous as they are, not all of them are bad. The chances are rare, there’s no refuting that, but never zero. For example, there are some Slugs who have taken up assisting the Federation regardless and help man their ships. As a stark contrast to their untrustworthiness, these Slugs are both dependable and won’t double-cross their comrades. And it’s not limited to just them. One time, a rather large Slug teleported in the center of a town run by Set and Marcus. Their presence alarmed the townsfolk but before they could draw their weapons the Slug spread his wares on the ground. Turns out, he just wanted to trade. Drove some hard bargains, but was otherwise true to his word.

@Necromancer 10- Thanks so much! Those examples work very well. With Tremaine, I'm thinking Yubaba would be more friendly with her than not; after all, Yubaba only seems to have any affection for her own child, not unlike Tremaine's preference for her own daughters over Cinderella, her step-daughter. And I doubt Yubaba would be disgusted by how Tremaine overworks Cinderella, considering the witch made Chihiro do excessive work under the threat of being turned to coal.

On that note, though, I realize that a big problem I'm having with writing Yubaba's profile is that her character is so complex it's hard to tell how she'd take to other characters. Like, I know I want to insert a relationship with Baba Yaga (since they are both spirits that manifest as Gonk-ish witches and have similar-sounding names), but would Yubaba despise Yaga for her baby-eating ways or not care at all, considering she thought about turning Chihiro into a piglet to eventually be served as food? And likewise, would Yubaba hate polluters and other environmental destroyers, since spirits such as herself are tied to nature (and most environment destroyers are rotten and smelly humans anyway)... Or welcome such defilers of nature, since Yubaba gained her own "apprentice" thanks to the river he was the spirit of getting filled in and she gained lots of gold from a polluted river spirit who came to her bathhouse out of desperation?

@Oolong: He would definitely be an enemy of John Kreese, I see them dueling as inevitable. And probably a friendly rival of Po.

*Terry's fist punches through the profile*

ODOR BLOCKER BODY WASH IS TOO POWERFUL TO LET THIS PROFILE END!

  • Trying his best to be a caring parent to his own real-life family, this Family Man refuses to tolerate any of the Child Abuse Supporters, and should almost any of them exist within a certain distance of him, they automatically explode, so they all take caution to avoid him at any cost. For someone a despicable parent as Ragyo, however, that's a different story. The first time he heard of WHAT Ragyo did to her daughters, he went up to her temple, went to look the deity herself in the eye, and Ragyo exploded, turning her into The Negative Man for 24 hours, forcing her to sob and wallow in shame for the entire day. Needless to say, every good-willed parent holds him in high respect.
    • After learning about Michael Bluth's eventual developments into a rather questionable parent, he's begun to feel really terrible about what he's suffered through, but as a parent himself he can't stand to accept what Bluth's become, especially not his treatment of his son. On his off-time, he hopes that he can help Bluth be a better parent, at the very least.
  • In one of his attempts to bond with his son, he ended up becoming a gamer just like him, and he even got into Overwatch in the process, and for that, he gets along with many of the ascended heroes from Overwatch. He even tried to become a voice actor for a certain hero, although his requests were denied. In fact, that hero, Doomfist, may have been somewhat modeled after him. While Terry isn't fond of Doomfist's agenda, he still feels pretty bad about what Akande went through on his early career, and does wish for him to have a Heel–Face Turn. While Doomfist doesn't plan to give up his agendas for him, he holds no ill will towards Terry and wouldn't even think about trying to attack him anyway, regardless of the risk of him being punched into the stratosphere.
  • Having a bad experience with a Loony Fan who rudely tried to push through his children in order to meet him face-to-face, he visited Annie Wilkes for having a reputation for being even worse than what he dealt with, warning her in his Scary Black Man persona to be a little more understanding of the feelings of the creators she supposedly respects. And of course to BE A DECENT PERSON, DAMN IT! *Annie explodes, to no one's shock*
  • Bobobo loved the Old Spice products he got from Terry Crews, and eventually asked Terry if he could star in a commercial for Old Spice with him. Terry agreed, and not an hour later, the entire House of Hair Styles exploded repeatedly until it looked like it was part of the House of War. It was also littered with nose hair tentacles attacking the janitors. Some believed that this was caused by some unholy Fusion Dance between the two deities, others believed that the screaming they did amplified each others' powers to an uncontrollable extent. Due to this occasion, the House of Time and Space sometimes has to create a dimensional space for Terry to host a commercial with other deities to avoid further destruction.
  • Alex Armstrong decided to get himself in a flexing contest with Terry Crews solely for fun. Terry immediately accepted the request, with it being a still-rational showcase of muscles, but not only did Terry Crews end up using his reality-bending powers to make his flexing go over the top, he gave Armstrong the same abilities for his own flexing, and from there it escalated to the point where all of the flexing created a ball of energy so manly that when it exploded, several Houses were left in need of heavy repair. Many of the workers and faculty groaned as they watched Alex and Terry shake hands and depart.
  • In an attempt to get more famous, Super Macho Man challenged Terry Crews to a Pec Flex contest, claiming that if Terry Crews could outlast him without any reality-warping involved, Super Macho Man would have to buy a month's worth of his products. If Terry lost, Super Macho Man would get to star in the next Old Spice commercial to promote himself as well. Disabling all of his powers for the time being, Terry accepted, and for over an hour they stared at each other as they continued to flex their pecs, with many men and women watching. Super Macho Man did last for a good while, which Terry had to admit, but Terry ended up winning through sheer endurance after almost two hours, and Super Macho Man began to faint. Before he passed out, he saw a large crate full of Old Spice products and a bill taped onto it, with his exact signature already on it.
Terry: IF HE HAD USED OLD SPICE PRODUCTS MORE OFTEN, HE MIGHT HAVE HAD ME BEAAATTTTTTT- Italicized instance of an explosion occurring, as a result of Terry's yelling being that powerful
  • Not very fond of the Kankers since he despises what their trope represents. He once saw them chasing the Eds down, and he decided to try and defuse the situation by TALKING ABOUT HOW GREAT OLD SPICE IS FOR YOUR HYGIENE but after seeing that the Kankers cared little for it, he decided to take it a step further and started to holler, causing the Kankers to explode into... themselves, but with their heads transformed into fish. Sending the Kankers running in horror of their new appearance, the Eds thanked him by taking some of his Old Spice products.
  • After giving some Old Spice to Saxton Hale, the two got into a screaming contest that was so loud that SLEEP ITSELF WAS CANCELLED FOR AN ENTIRE HOUR FROM THE SHEER POWEEERRRRRRR- *Guess what happened next*
  • For the sake of having fun, he's starting to collaborate with the likes of Michael Bay and Mr. Torgue, both of whom look up to Terry for the explosions he creates by just existing, in order to make a commercial so powerful and explosive that it would blast Isaiah off his seat and possibly cause the whole Pantheon to explode from the utter power alone.

@ Sayo: I don't get the joke

Where are the Among Us characters in the pantheon, so I may add a link to my profile? Are there any more fungal-based relationships I should add to the Pokeshrooms?

Parasect, Breloom, Amoonguss and Shiinotic, Deified Fungi Being Considered Plants (Parasect, Breloom and Amoonguss: The Mushroom Pokemon, Shiintoic: The Illuminating Pokemon)

  • Domains: Mushrooms, Plants, Mons (all of them), Infection, Growths, Creepiness (Parasect), Combat, Boxers (Breloom), Disguises, Pokeballs, Poison (Amoonguss), Fairies, Illumination (Shiinotic)
  • Interests: Pamela Isley, Alec Holland (all of them), Beelzebub (Beelzebub)
  • Allies(as a whole): Ash Ketchum, Mario, Luigi and the Mario Kingdom (especially the Toads)
  • On good terms with: The Goombas (as a whole)
  • Rivals: The Pirahna Plants, Audrey II (Amoonguss)
  • Enemies(as a whole): Team Rainbow Rocket, Pokemon Hunter J, violent pyromancers, The Shroobs
  • Opposes: The Fire and Heat, Ice and Cold and Birds sub-house, especially Anivia (the lot), psychic gods (Breloom and Amoonguss), the Toxicity and Metal and Minerals sub-houses (Shiinotic)
  • Opposed by: Wirt and Greg (Amoonguss and Shiinotic), its own House of Plants (Parasect)
  • On poor terms with: Toothiana (Shiinotic)
  • Wary of: Bowser (the lot), The Reaper (Amoonguss)
  • In the world of Pokémon, there are four lines of mushroom-based Grass types. Despite mushrooms belonging to a different phylum from plants, they are still considered such by Pokemon's elemental systems. They are the only Pokemon who naturally have access to Spore, a 100% accuracy status move that inflicts sleep.
  • Applies to all of them
    • The four mushroom Pokemon are considered oddities of the House of Plants since as mentioned they shouldn't be considered plants, yet manage to be both that and fungi. Of course there are plenty of plant-animal combos so they aren't total anomalies. Swamp Thing and Poison Ivy were interested in them because as they are both plant and fungi, they have ties to both the Green and the fungi-based Grey. This could make them an asset to the different natural kingdoms were they motivated enough.
    • The lot were immediately interested in the Mushroom Kingdom and its inhabitants, being mushroom creatures. They were impressed by the heroism of Mario and Luigi, and felt at home with the Toads who welcomed them as members of the House of Plants despite some other deities declaring "they're fungi so they shouldn't count". They prefer to stay away from Bowser given his villainous reputation, though don't have any hard feelings against him and they tend to get along with the Goombas in general. Given their amicable relationship with the Toads and not being incredibly evil, the fungal Pokemon hate and fear the Shroobs.
    • All of them share an aversion to Fire type moves, with Parasect taking it especially badly. Along with the usual suspects of Team Rainbow Rocket and Pokemon Hunter J, any violent fire wielder is on their hit list. None of them are fond of birds or cryomancers due to it being a shared weakness, and Anivia is both. Individually Breloom and Amoongus dislike psychic deities and Shiinotic takes special offense for both poison and metal deities.
  • Applies to Parasect
    • The Bug/Grass Parasect is the creepiest of the four mushroom Pokemon and the most tragic being based on the cordecyps. As a Paras it had a mind-controlling fungus planted on it, taking control as a Parasect. Joel and Ellie express a lot of sympathy for Parasect, given the fact that he's a husk of a bug controlled by fungi, much like most of humanity in their own world. They have decided to make Parasect their partner in order to give the poor thing the love it needs
    • It is unknown how much of the insect is left, but the Mario brothers really hope it isn't suffering. Parasect is more the mushroom than anything, who's known to infest large trees en masse and drain nutrients from the lower trunk and roots. When an infested tree dies, they move onto another tree all at once. As such nobody in the House of Plants was happy to see it return to the pantheon. Though not evil, Treebeard takes personal offense by its infective nature.
    • Parasect's relationship with Chaac is a beneficial one, as it helps his mushroom—who is pretty much the personality now instead of the bug—grow better in the rain and help against his weakness to fire. Some gods have made comparisons between Parasect and Headcrabs, another crab-like creature who happen to be parasites themselves. However only the Radiance cares enough to exploit Parasect, hoping to use its insect-fungus connection in order to spread her control to flora.
    • Being effectively possessed by the mushroom, whatever's left of the bug half of Parasect has an ax to grind towards Pazuzu due to being a possessor. It stays neutral on Beelzebub, however the Lord of the Flies demonstrates a lot more interest on the Pokemon; the fungus' nature of infesting and spreading intrigues a being such as Beelzebub, as flies are want to spread and infest where they please. He considers its squickier traits pleasant.
  • Applies to Breloom
    • Breloom started as a simple puffball/earth star Pokemon known as Shroomish, however evolved into the Grass/Fighting Breloom. It may not look like it, but he has stretchy arms that it can use like boxing gloves. The humanoid mushroom was interested in Little Mac because he's an expert boxer, and the green boxing gloves fit Breloom. That said, when not stretching them out the boxing gloves look rather silly on the Mushroom Man.
    • Breloom is one of a handful of Pokemon with Poison Heal as a possible ability, which it has in the pantheon. As such it will be healed by poisoning instead of harmed. So when seeing toxic deities as completely reprehensible as the Yellow Bastard Breloom can strike them down with a punch, and allows him to oppose the likes of Hexxus more than most Grass types...though poison attacks still hurt him like they would other Breloom.
    • His ability makes Salazzle's Toxic useful for him, and allows him to be more powerful alongside Toxie...just as long as they don't physically use poisonous attacks on him. It also aids him alongside Coco. Breloom is also an ally to the Roger Family, as it takes a lot of traits of a kangaroo and is a bit of a boxer itself.
  • Applies to Amoonguss
    • Amoonguss ascended because people assumed it was a Pokeball, only to attack someone who checked. She(yes, she) isn't sure why because she's 2 feet tall, but as very few Pokemon are fooled by the disguise she was just glad people were fooled for once. She was oddly fond of MacMillian due to his use of hiding himself as Mobile Shrubbery, as she hides by looking like a valuable object.
    • Amoonguss tends to keep to herself, wanting to keep the illusion of being a Pokeball to catch prey. She likes to hang out with Whispy Woods, a tree who like herself isn't that mobile and allows her to blend in better. Wirt and Greg's experience in the forest have them wary of the mushroom as Amoonguss has a distinctly predatory reason for looking like a Pokeball.
    • She waits for prey to come close enough to her, and has come to blame both Audrey II and the Pirahna Plants for stealing potential food from her. Amoonguss is also aware of the official Chest Burster, Reaper, but considers him scary. She doesn't like it when trolls keep comparing her to the Crewmates and calling her Amogus or Sus.
  • Applies to Shiinotic
    • Forests where Shiinotic live are treacherous to enter at night. People confused by its strange lights can never find their way home again. It is the most ominous of the mushroom Pokemon, and is regarded as more sinister by Wirt and Greg than Amoonguss who is simply a predator. The Dreams sub-house is keeping watch over the Illumination Pokemon as when it gets its prey sleeping with its spores, it will drain them with its Creepy Long Fingers...well roots, but they have the same effect.
    • Shiinotic is one of the fey, which is part of the line's creepiness. However most fairies tend to stay away from her. Toothina, who works in the night, considers her kind of creepy and may be troublesome for her job as the tooth fairy. The Illumination Pokemon was more welcome in the court of Oberon and Titania, where she works to guide visitors with her Illuminate ability. Titania has made Shiinotic her partner in order to keep her in check and behave in the pantheon.
    • Chanticleer is interested in Shiinotic's bioluminescence as a light for those that need it during the night time. Both the Grand Duke of Owls and Chernabog consider the light of Shiinotic to be very frustrating for their own darkness-oriented goals.

Acerola, Goddess of Cat Smiles

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/acerola_pokemon.png
  • House: Mouths (House of Personal Appearance)
  • Adopted from: TPPR 10
  • Demigoddess
  • Symbol: Her Trial Captain medallion (used as a hair clip), and her bracelet
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Ghost-type Specialist, Cheerful Child, Bloodline from the Former Alolan Royals, Perky Goth, Purple Is Powerful, One of Youngest Trial Captains And The Youngest Elite Four Member
  • Domains: Ghosts, Royals, Appearance
  • Pokemon team: Sableye/Banette, Drifblim, Dhelmise, Froslass, Palossand (games), Mimikins the Mimikyu, Shuppet, Greedy Rapooh the Gengar (the anime)
  • Interested in: The Flying Dutchman, Peeves
  • Allies: Ash Ketchum, Lillie, Casper, Rotom, Danny Fenton, Mimikyu, Palossand, Sableye, Sara Crew, Anne-Marie, Bunnicula, Lilo and Stitch, Koume Shirasaka
  • Enemies: Team Rainbow Rocket, Ragyo Kiryuin Dark Danny, Joffrey Baratheon, Freddy Krueger, Pennywise, Lord English
  • Wary of: The Ultra Beasts, Bloody Marie, The Ghostbusters
  • Unlike most regions, the Alola region has Trial Captains. The Ghost-type Captain and eventual member of the Alolan Elite 4 is Acerola. She is an orphan living in Aether House, being a remnant from the original Alolan royalty. Despite her type choice, she is a Cheerful Child.
  • Acerola is a rather cute Trial Captain, and the cuteness is enhanced by her Cat Smile. This eventually led to her ascension, where she joined a wide variety of gods in her new sub-house. Some like Chaugner Faugun and Himiko Toga frightened her, however she was able to get along with Bunnicula. Despite his spooky vampirism, he's a friendly rabbit and got along with the Perky Goth.
  • When she ascended she was somewhat concerned with the Ultra Beasts appearing, and wondered if Lusamine had also ascended and had an involvement. This eventually led her to find Guzma and Ragyo Kiryuin, the latter of which takes notes from Lusamine. While Guzma has somewhat reformed and apologized for Team Skull kidnapping her, Ragyo proves far worse than Lusamine ever was.
  • She looked for Drifblim in the pantheon, only to be informed that it had left. As the balloon, Froslass and Dhelmise are not up, so she is limited to having the ones she owns as her heralds. The Dhelmise caught the Flying Dutchman's interest. Acerola was similarly interested in him. She isn't too spooked by the Flying Dutchman and isn't above giving him advice on scaring people. Just as long as no-one is harmed.
  • Pennywise attempted to lure Acerola by coloring his balloons yellow and disgusing them as shiny Drifloon, hoping it would attract her. Fortunately this backfried as while she is fond of Ghost type Pokemon, she knows they have a habit of trying to allure children to kidnap them. She is very much horrified by the evil clown, but does wonder if the Deadlights may be a hint as to what exactly lurks underneath Mimikyu's disguise.
  • There were some members of Acerola's team who had their species represented, namely Sableye and Palossand. She also has a Mimikyu, who is both a shiny called Mimikins and a ghost of a dead Mimikyu. Still friendlier than Jessie's. The Ghosts sub-house is still trying to figure out how the ghost of a ghost Pokemon works. They're also trying to figure out how Acerola is at least 12.
  • Capable of communicating with Ghost type Pokemon. In the pantheon this includes other ghosts. She has spent some time in the Ghosts sub-house getting to know its residents better, and once in a while challenging the Ghostbusters to a Pokemon battle when they make the mistake of vacuuming a spirit she's hanging out with. Acerola assumed that Peeves was also a ghost, but he's stated he's something else. This made her curious about his "anatomy" as an amortal being.
  • Acerola fears a few ghosts, but two stand out as particularly horrifying to her; Freddy Krueger and Dark Danny. Krueger's preferred target is her age range, and both are depraved psychopaths. In desperation she closed her eyes and had Mimikins expose her true appearance, but as they were already deadnote  it was merely unpleasant. Fortunately Danny Fenton came in to save her.
  • As Mimikins is the ghost of a Ghost type Pokemon, she can be considered "double-dead". This makes her one of the few beings that Lord English can't outright kill, which enrages her in part because she may know what, if anything, happens to ghosts he kills. Naturally there are an abundance of reasons for Acerola to despise Lord English. It is thought that Beerus could still Hakai Mimikins out of existence, but he's in no mood to doll out something he usually reserves to people who deserve it or or if absolutely needed.
  • They don't creep her out as badly, but Acerola keeps her distance from Kayako and Sadako. She prefers to hang out with the friendlier and merely mischievous Ghosts like Danny, Casper and Yuyuko. She finds Youmu Konpaku being half-human, half-ghost to be rather perplexing, and wonders if this might be what a possible Ghost/Normal type combination would be like.
  • Much like Sara Crewe, Acerola is an Impoverished Patrician. However, that doesn't stop either of them from helping out. It's unknown when the Alolan royalty died out but if it's anything like the Hawaiian royalty, it happened a while ago. Acerola doesn't spend much time in the House of Royalty, and she was particularly infuriated that Joffrey Baratheon was allowed entry. They're basically opposites; Acerola is a royal stripped of its power yet a kind and friendly girl. Joffrey meanwhile is someone who never had to struggle in his life and was given power, and proves to be a self-centered psychopath.
  • As the region of Alola is based on Hawaii, she was curious about its Disney counterpart after hearing about the Pokemon-like experiments. She found herself liking Lilo, who like herself is an orphan and kind of creepy yet a good person. Acerola is interested in Spooky/Experiment 300 due to its ability to transform in whatever people fear. Acerola is also friendly with Koume Shirasaka, who loves anything horror related and has the ascended Mimikyu as a partner.

@Menance did you want to discuss the ludger profile you had? while Money Grinding is a fun aspect of the game, it still feels strange the whole timeline destruction that was very focal to the character would no be his main focus.

also I'd like a catchier title than Only One Me Allowed Right Now. Its kind of a mouthful and im not sure the one I suggested, One Version Per Timeline, works.

It's about time I finally got done with a profile. Geez...

''You see a well groomed garden. In the middle, on a small hill, you see a gazebo.''
Yugi195, God of It Amused Me and Where's the Fun in That? ([The] Lex [Luthor][-Prime], Superman [of Earth-33], [The] Law, [The] Eggman [when gained weight], The Dread Gazebo)

My Truest Form
As the Dread Gazebo
  • Potential House: Celebration
  • Rank: Overoverdeity (Overdeity as the Dread Gazebo)
  • Symbol: A white gazebo about 30 ft across, 15 ft high, with a pointed top (that may actually be a flying saucer). A piece of Kryptonite or the Superman symbol. Or maybe a Superman symbol made of Kryptonite!
  • Theme Song: The Philosopher Song, Thanos VS Darkseid Rap Battle, literally any theme I've chosen for any characters I— I mean, he has ascended, and, of course, this.
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil (I'm not Good. I'm a gazebo.)
  • Gender: Male.
  • Ability: Too many to list.
  • Moves: Yes.
  • Portfolio: Dying for Symbolism, Pet Monstrosity, Artistic License – Chemistry, Mentor Archetype, Hulking Out, Nothing Is Scarier, Square Race, Round Class, No Such Thing as Bad Publicity, Reused Character Design
  • Domains: the Pantheon, Gazebos, Awesomeness
  • Herald: Every human on Earth-33
  • High Priest: Peeves the Poltergeist
  • Followers: the apparently numerous versions of Harry Potter in fanfiction who seem to say it all the time
  • Allies: Adam Conover, the Bogeyman, Jonathan Crane, Megatron (''Beast Wars''), the Classical Literature Club, Inspector G. Lestrade, Nabu/Doctor Fate, Neopolitan, Hourman/Rex Tyler, Sabor, the Seal Crew, the Sibyl System, Tim Drake/Red Robin, Tsuru Tsurulina IV, Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, Darkseid, Exodia, Galactus, Dr. Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn, Mogo, Cyborg, Master Xehanort
  • Arch-Enemy: Superboy-Prime
  • Strained Relationship with: the deities in his sandbox, especially Merlin
  • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that have various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Headbutting Heroes, Just Friends, etc.) other than allies, rivals, or enemies.
  • Friendly Enemy: Superman, Batman, Sora, Riku, and Kairi (and their allies)
  • Friendly Rival: Yugi Muto and Yami Yugi
  • Partner: Blue-Eyes White Dragon
  • Snuck his way into the Pantheon under the guise of being the other Lex Luthor note , whose profile he'd been working on ascending. He then used his power as one of the moderators to ascend himself, before making his grand reveal... at which point the Pantheon council or whatever it is promptly rejected him and kicked him out. He obviously had no idea they could do that. After that Epic Fail, he took some time out of his busy life and filed the paperwork the proper way and officially became a deity.
  • Yugi195 is one of the moderators for the Pantheon. He lives on the true Earth, which he usually refers to by its DC Multiverse designation, Earth-33 (don't ask where). He's known to just about everyone by the name "Lex" (He's told some deities that his last name is, of course, Luthor, but no one's quite sure about that. Then again, they're not even sure Alexander is his real first name...)—he's often referred to as "Lex-Prime" or "Lex Luthor-Prime" to avoid confusion with the other Lex Luthor. Other than that, not much is known about him.
    • Occasionally takes the alternate form of the Dread Gazebo, an ordinary gazebo that eats deities who, unknowing of what a "gazebo" actually is, deign to awaken it from its sleep. It's sometimes been implied that the whole thing is really just a landing platform, and the top part is actually a flying saucer, but that's never been confirmed. Others believe that it's not an alternate form, but the flying saucer is actually a vehicle invented by the real Yugi195. He has declined to comment.
  • Is obviously allies with those deities whose profiles he's himself ascended and reworked, and in doing so has gain an impressive roster of powerful friends, including the Doctor Fate and even Exodia. He's one of the few beings they'll all work together with.
    • On the other hand, some have noticed that the majority of those profiles he's done have been for villains. He's drawn the ire of some good-aligned forces who are a bit annoyed at how many already difficult threats have been made even greater than they were before. Superman and Batman, for instance, are watching him closely as he's in the middle of reworking their Arch-Enemies.
    • Speaking of those he's in the middle of working on, many of the deities in his sandbox—both original and those there for a rework—are getting incredibly frustrated at him for taking so friggin' long to finish their profile. Merlin is especially big on this, as he considers himself a large part of the Pantheon and will only be able to return to his proper place once his rework is finished—not to mention that all the other deities in the sandbox keep bothering him about when the heck he's gonna get his profile finished so that they can finally get theirs worked on. The fact that this profile was written and finished so quickly did not help matters.
  • You may have noticed the similarity in name with the former wearer of the Millennium Puzzle. While Yugi195 ironically favors Seto Kaiba as a character (he's actually doing the ascension of Kisara as a favor for Kaiba. No, he's definitely not being bribed. Why do you ask?), he is often found hanging out and dueling with Yugi, Yami, and their friends. He is, after all, the one who reworked Exodia and, while doing so, put the cards' power back into Yugi's possession, a thing they're quite grateful for.
  • As is natural for an alternate universe version of Lex Luthor, he fiercely opposes the version of Superman who originates from his Earth, e.g. Superboy-Prime. To match Superboy-Prime's insane Pre-Crisis level power, Lex Luthor-Prime has increased his own intellect to match the Pre-Crisis Lex Luthor's insane scientific feats. This makes him one of the most scientifically gifted individuals in the Pantheon, able to do such things as curing apparently terminal diseases to making time machines out of random tin cans ("As long as I can explain it with vague Techno Babble, I can do anything!").
  • And a couple of more.
April Fools!

In another few hours, the sun will rise.

Okay got three new rework ideas:

  • Lagiacrus, God of Underwater Boss Battles
    • Reasoning: Its profile is outdated and lacking. It fits the trope because it is a boss who specializes in underwater techniques and often forces you to fight in its element, plus its debut game, Monster Hunter Tri introduced water combat with Lagi serving as the flagship of the game and main representative of said fights appearing as early as your first fully underwater mission. I can merge him with Tri's final boss, Ceadeus, if possible.

  • Amethyst, Goddess of Eating for Fun
    • Reasoning: Her profile is a wee bit outdated. As to why she fits: all gems of Steven Universe don't need to eat (except Steven himself who is half-human), but Amethyst loves to do so, purely because she can and likes doing it for fun (and because of her lacking digestion she can never get food poisoned unless she shapeshifts the correct organs) and it is very notable in stark contrast to all other gems in the series who never really eat unless prompted to.

  • Tai Lung, God of Meaningless Villainous Success
    • Reasoning: His profile is outdated and lacking in interactions. As to why he fits the trope: Tai Lung's sole purpose for the whole film is to get the Dragon Scroll, which he believes is the key to ultimate power. Despite adversity and the heroes' best efforts, Tai Lung achieves his goal of getting the scroll... Only to find out it's a blank scroll and ultimately fail to grasp the true lesson, rendering his victory hollow and meaningless and leading to his Villainous Breakdown and defeat/death at the hands of Po.

[up][up]I guess you can do those three [tup] and a [tup] for Crownless

Speaking of which, when will Monster Hunter get an overhaul? I know you're knowledgeable on it and so does Crownless but with all the inevitable franchise cutlists happening, its best to keep your nests feathered so I kind of suggest to salvage whatever you could on MH.

Your sensors are no match for the Slug's telepathic abilities - a ship you never even saw opens fire from astern!

@ Vengeful: [tup] to all of them. I think you can include Ceadeus considering he's fought solely in underwater combat and it is because of that it hasn't made an appearance since Tri due to the mechanic being abandoned. That, and the Lagiacrus was initially blamed for the earthquakes caused by Ceadeus.

@ RJ: The Hag is an evil witch whose experiments with an odd mushroom corrupted the Weald's inhabitants into horrific fungal monstrosities. And The Bloom and Doom Seed Co. Plants has a bunch of mushrooms in their line-up.

Lesser Kraeken known as Mimku act like the typical Chest Monster, appearing as treasure chests before going in for the kill.

@Bale: Al the Crystal Gems could use a rework, admittedly. Particularly the main ones (this also means Pearl, Steven, and Garnet) first; the rest can wait.

Spekaing of, I got another nomination, though I don't know how to word the title.

From Steven Universe, Spinel for Hide and No Seek.

  • Reasoning: Most instances of this trope are minor, but for this example, they're pretty devastating. Basically, Pink Diamond told her to stay behind under the pretense of a game, and then left her for essentially forever (just six millennia). She only stops "playing" when she hears news of Steven Universe, after which she immediately realizes she had been abandoned, and snaps.

And remember, I ascended A2 for Not What It Looks Like due to a singular incident of this that also has far-reaching consequences.

Do we have anything on the Templin Institute (these guys: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpqCsO-fb2_OzVxm7J9MslA ) ?

Their lore is that they're an Omniversal organisation that catalogues and study various universes and multiverses. They would fit right in within the Pantheon. Tho I don't know what trope they would represent...
