Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@r-lock: Most of the tropes I wanted for Kronika were taken, so I swung for the fences with Beating A Dead Player. It fits.

  • Domain: Space, Glory, Luck, Freedom (River, Simon, Mal), Charm (Inara), Artifice (Kaylee), Good, Chaos or Law depending on the deity.
  • The presence of the Serenity was first felt... with a few falling debris of the ship coming down on the ground before the rest of the ship made a decent landing. From there came the crew, led by a former military man called Malcolm Reynalds. Together, the crew decided to perform smuggling in protest of the ruling government. Mal had long held the title on his own for those who bring the cavalry in the nick of time to turn the tide of battles. It was only recently that he decided to grant divinity to the entire crew, even those who died in the course of their stories. There was much rejoicing, to the crew and those who were fans of their adventures.
  • Despite being the closest things to being heroes in their world, the crew are not welcomed by many, making them natural fits in the House of Ambiguity. In fact, Star-Lord jokingly stated that their crew may well have been their high priests despite never having that role. Mal would rather not be considered in a position that would be under anyone's authority. Nevertheless, the two groups generally like each other.
  • They still manage to find allies in space. Namely, the Serenity's ability to save the day in the nick of time has save many a team from disaster:
    • Mal and his crew can't seem to stop bumping into Captain Kirk and the Enterprise. In all cases it was due to coincidence. Still, Kirk is one of the few captains that Mal can trust, given both of their aversions to military excursions. That and he can always count on Kirk to find rare items to sell to the black market.
    • The Doctor finds the position of the Serenity to be an interesting one. As such, she pays no mind to helping them out. After all, many of her incarnations distrust the military as much as Mal does. With the rest of the crew, she is happy to listen to Kaylee's engineering tips as well as help River with her memories with her limited telepathy.
    • Crichton and the Moya were practically made to be allies with them. The entire crew had nasty experiences with their own corrupt government ironically named the Peacekeepers and Crichton himself has been known for enacting insane plans that just happen to work out. It was a match made in heaven for Mal. The crew members can be seen hanging out on multiple occasions.
    • Kaylee discovered another stowaway on the ship, a red-headed girl named Leeloo. Before Mal ordered the crew to dump her, the woman proved to be talented in a number of skills. Thus, he allowed her on board for the time being. She turned out to be a great crew member and became friends with a lot of the crew members. Shortly after the left, they found out that she has ascended. Mal reluctantly allows her stay when she has the need to.
  • More often than not, most ships he come in contact with eye him with suspicion. The crew have a way with escaping any bit of authority that tries to take them in:
    • In any other case, Commander Shepard would have welcomed them in with open arms. Yet Mal himself would neither trust the Executive Officer nor would he ever let Shepard Commandeer his ship. Good thing villains, because any time the two teamup, they are capable of laying waste to vast swaths of enemies.
    • Honor takes a more direct approach, regarding the Serenity as subject to capture. Unfortunately for her, Mal has made it difficult for her to find him. He usually meets up with her whenever there is a crisis her Space Navy cannot defeat alone. Even then, she is bound by Judge Dredd to take them in afterwards.
    • Samantha Carter is more conflicted in doing so. After seeing the good deeds that they have done over the years, Samantha is more willing to tolerate their presence and letting them go... in exchange for confiscating any counter-band she finds in their ship.
    • Usually, Commander Adama would rather focus on taking on Cylons than dealing with petty smugglers, but he follows through with trying to arrest them. Starbuck made it more of a friendly rivalry, even teasing Mal with innuendos. Mal obliges b to a point but knows better than to leave his crew vulnerable for capture.
    • Surgeon Pierce is the one place in the House of War that they can have safe passage. Mal and Hawkeye both experience sorrow during their time of service and do not wish to do so again. It helps that Hawkeye makes a mean bootleg drink and serves them to the Serenity in exchange for contraband from the smuggler.
  • While they are critical of their Lawful Neutral government, they are more than happy to stick it to more authoritarian governments. This is especially true to the likes of Emperor Palpatine. He does not take their destabilization of Galactic Empire style dictatorships lightly. As such, he has sent many Dark Side assassins after them over the years. When that didn't work, he employed Thrawn to lay a trap on them. It would have suceeded if not for a rescue made in part by the Skywalters. This was supported by Han Solo, himself a smuggler over the years.
    • After the initial problem, Thrawn solved the problem with a series of equations; by mapping when the Serenity may pop up at any time, he has learned how to completely avoid and Big Damned Heroism that may come his way. This isn't 100% Mal proof, but it's enough to no longer worry about that factor in his plans.
  • Given the nature of their business, it was only natural that they would take on a number of bounty hunters over the years. Usually they are after Mal for smuggling, but River's head has an even high price tag. It's just that she's a much more difficult target to capture:
    • As the head of Bounty Hunters everywhere, Boba Fett is responsible for managing the various attempts on the Serenity. After various failures on their part, Boba has decided to take up the bounty himself to receive the glory of detaining the elusive smugglers.
    • The crew wishes they have Lobo as the god of Bounty Hunters. The Czarnian may have been impossible for them to defeat, but Mal was able to bribe him out of their bounty. Afterwards, Lobo allowed them to continue their business. Besides, the alien has taken a liking to the crew. He thinks that River his a natural badass with a future ahead of her and even checked out Jayne's arsenal to see if there's anything of interest.
    • Miss Fortune's specialty is piracy, but that didn't mean she wouldn't dabble in that of the space-faring kind. After a couple of skirmishes, she considered him to be less bloodthirsty than most and abandoned the bounty for now, though she does appear now and then to keep the peace.
  • Mal couldn't help but feel like he would have gotten along with the crew of Rogue One, the unlikely crew that went on a Suicide Mission to send the notes on the Death Star to the Rebel Alliance. In fact, Mal stated that they were a lot like the crew of the Serenity... if they were run more incompetently run and all died in the process. Jyn viciously shot back, stating his last big plan led to the deaths of some of his crew-mates as well. It's safe to say that the two Protagonists aren't to keen on making amends with each other. At least the other crew members were willing to bury the hatchet over the two hot-heads.
  • Exclusive to Mal:
    • Has fallen into hot water with the subhouse of Lust. They didn't take to kindly with his remarks on Inara's profession. As such, he receives the cold shoulder whenever he arrives there.
    • One of the odder relationships among the gods has been with Scott Summers. The God of Eye Beams can't help but be reminded of his father whenever the two meet. It helps that the two of them became space pirates.
    • When there was a case involving some missing merchandise, Mal ordered his crew to find a detective who could find some clues. Jayne came back with a man with a bag over his head. When the bag was removed it turned out to be Richard Castle, God of Mystery Writer Detectives. Despite the distressing introduction and the fact that the two looked eerily similar, Richard agreed to help them out... on the condition that he gets to write a story about the adventure. Once the items were found (and Jayne was given a tongue lashing), Richard waved them off. The subsequent book made him a decent amount of money, part of which was given to Mal.
  • Exclusive to River:
    • Prior to moving in with Mal, River was the only other member of the Serenity who had ascended on her own. This is due to her memorable defense of her crew members against the Reavers. It's also due to her ability to improbably dispatch large swaths of enemies despite being 90 lbs soaking wet. That and she can totally kill you with just her mindShe is by far one of the most popular Action Girls in the Pantheon.
    • Will attack any mad scientists on sight. Anyone foolish enough to be in her way will wish they were treated more humanely than the Reapers in Serenity. Dr. Wily and Ryoma are at the top of her hate list. That also includes people such as Arael and Johan Liebert, though she's more cautious with the later. Delving into his mind alone is enough to give her shivers.
    • Is noted to almost never wear shoes. Her symbol is a constant reminder of that to her followers. Most theorize that shoes remind her of the tortures she endured during her experiments at the Academy.
  • Exclusive to Simon:
    • It was a jubilant scene for River when the two siblings met each other for the first time in years. The two have been together ever since he helped her escape a government facility. He even vouched for the two when Mal threatened to kick them out. He has since stuck around in order to protect his sister. Which ended with his death.
    • The resident healer of the Serenity, Simon is polite to every person he meets... almost to a fault. It did him no favors towards Mal who felt his politeness to be off-putting. In fact, all of his teammates treat him with a bit of disdain except for Walsh and Kaylee. As for her, the two promptly proclaimed their love for each other.
  • Exclusive to Zoe:
    • As the saying goes, for every man there's a woman working from behind. Or in this case, she's the Straight Man to counter the more chaotic aspects of Mal. As such, she is seen as the voice of reason.
    • Like Mal, she has a military background, an aspect that was more difficult for her to shut down. To this day, she has to catch herself from calling Mal "Sir". At least that helped quell down those who tried to ship the two. Regardless, her demeanor has deem her The Reliable One of the crew.
  • Exclusive to Wash:
    • When the crew of the Serenity was asked who would be considered The Conscience of the show, everyone pointed to Wash, the pilot of the crew. He is by far the nicest resident of the ship and has a playful side in him. Yet there is no one who can stay calm under pressure as this man.
    • It makes it all the more unusual that he and Zoe became a couple.
  • Exclusive to Inara:
    • Inara is a Companion licensed by the Alliance, helping clients seeking sexual and psychological healing. Her work is well regarded in the House of Love and she is welcome within the House for as long as she likes. She even has her own unofficial temple within the area. She hopes that more of her ilk make their way into the Pantheon.
    • A Buddhist at heart, she makes sure to bring such items along with her at all times. Sadly, she was unable to find any other of her faith in the Pantheon. Still, she hopes that Confucius himself may make his presence known here one day.
  • Exclusive to Jayne:
    • The weapon's expert of the crew, he keeps a wide assortment of guns and knives in the ship, a stash so large he needed a separate room just to keep it all. It was so massive, he gained a large enough following to be considered ascension on his own, namely for his habit of naming his weapons. His favorite in particular is Vera. Alas, he was too lazy to follow through with things and waited until Mal decided to ascend the entire crew.
    • Out of everyone, Jayne's loyalty is by far the most fragile. This is on account on the fact that he is almost entirely motivated by money. He has betrayed Mal on a few occasions on the whim of making more money for it. And yet he keeps coming back when it counts. He may not admit it, but he sure has a way to show his affections to his teammates.
  • Exclusive to Kaylee:
    • Made her debut in spectacular fashion: solving a critical engine problem in mid coitus! She became the new engineer ever since. She was even considered the position of Wrench Wench, eventually losing out to Winry. When Kaylee herself ascended later on, the two became fast friends. Kaylee loves to talk about her ship and she couldn't think of a better person to talk to her than Winry.
    • As stated above, she has a rather colorful view of sex. She is perfectly happy to have such a conversation with someone in that regard. With that said, her heart is taken for Simon. With his returned, the two committed to sticking together.
  • Exclusive to Book:
    • The one who spends the least time on the ship, Book is content to explore the Pantheon to experience new worlds. He sees a lot of good in the Pantheon, more so than in his own world. He wishes that no one else will have to experience the horrors he and Mal faced during their service in the military.

Reposting questions for my Nightwings profile.

Anyone who worked as a smuggler to raise a family member while hiding that profession from them?

And anyone else who's managed orphanages (and not an Orphanage of Fear) and protected them (besides Julis-Alexia von Riessfeld)?

Ok, now the changes were made. Anything else for Kronika?

"I have been expecting you."

Kronika, Holy Titaness of Repeatedly Killing And Reviving Fallen Foes (The Keeper of Time, The Guide to the Realms' Destinies, Architect of the Destiny of the Universe, The God of Gods)

  • Rivals: YHVH, Mithra (Shinza Bansho)
  • Enemies:
  • Opposed By: The Pantheonic Time Police, including Setsuna 'Sailor Pluto' Meioh, The Doctor, Trunks and Chronoa, Lightning
  • Distaff Counterpart of: Chronos
  • Banned From Entering: The House Of Treasures
  • Meet Kronika, the Keeper of Time, and mother to Shinnok. She is is the entity in charge of overseeing the timelines. After Raiden managed to prevent Armageddon and later decapitating Shinnok, Kronika decided to take a more direct approach and merge the timelines to create a new one, where the thunder god no longer exists and her children dictate the balance of Good and Evil.
  • She ascended after she got defeated by Liu Kang, not before she restarted the timeline. Her ascension heralded a new change for the deities of her universe, one because her manipulation of time and restarting of the timelines affected the deities and indirectly caused Raiden and Liu Kang to reconcile and right the wrongs they once commited. After hearing of this, she decided to take matters into her own hand and enter the pantheon on her own.
  • With Kronika's ascension, her keep also serves as a temple. Thankfully, one does not have to cross the Sea of Blood in order to reach it. Inside the keep, is the Sands of Time, inside a massive hourglass. With the ability to control time at ones fingertips along with instant immortality, it is a tempting target for anyone wanting to change their destiny.
  • Kronika also has a rather bad habit of erasing and rebuilding the timeline as she sees fit. Whenever a timeline does not meet her standards, she destroys it and starts anew. After having met several members of GUAL, she decided that an universe without free will would definitely be the one that indeed meets her expectations. Her and YHVH have a form of back and forth and the fact that her versions of the universe she seeks has Shinnok as one of it's pillars is something that YHVH can't quite understand why would she support and that puts the two at odds with the other.
    • In a similar case, she and Mithra have a lot in common and her law and morality does certainly mirror Kronika's goals, with the difference Mithra's are a lot more Black and White. It helps that both parties are interested in the Hourglass and the Throne respectively and have made attempts to negotiate a partnership but the best either can achieve is a Friendly Rivalry.
  • Some say that Kronika is a Primordial, while others say she is a Titan. Either way, she is high up on the pecking order of gods, being above even the Elder Gods that oversee the realms. Two of her children are also Elder Gods; the goddess Cetrion and the fallen Elder God whom Raiden decapitated.
    • And if you are wondering, what is exactly a Titan? The role of them in her universe are vastly different. Kronika herself resembles the Greek Titans and Primordials like Gaea or Cronus while others have stated that there are much ancient titans resembleing alien gods or Eldritch Abominations. She's been often compared to Chronos, the Primordial of time and also known as the Keeper of Time, akin to a Spear Counterpart of her.
  • As for Shinnok, he was shocked to discover Kronika waiting for him inside his temple. Shinnok received her with all the honors of her station. Yes, even a genocidal Elder God like Shinnok have a soft spot for dear old Mom. Some wonder why she never even bothered to fix her son once he was decapitated, given that was the catalyst that made her decide to restart the timeline but Shinnok believes she had her own reasons.
  • As usual, Zamasu was quick to tear apart Kronika's motivations and deem them below him, denouncing the Keeper of Time as another incompetent deity. But unlike others who would get on the Kai's bad side, she approached him with an offer that would realize Zamasu's world. Kronika promises that if he would aid her, he would become a third wheel in the New Era, where his law and justice are absolute and a force of it's own, where mortal cannot taint it with their foulness. In an uncharacteristic display of pragmatism, the Kai would accept Kronika's conditions, that way she could probably help him fend off the higher powers that have been wanting to take Zamasu down.
  • Kronika's ascension has gained the attention of the deities in the House of Time & Space , especially Setsuna Meioh. Even more so when Kronika's ascension meant that Setsuna's visions of Crystal Tokyo are now in jeporady.
    • Aside from Setsuna, the Pantheonic Time Police has been alerted and warned by Raiden of Kronika's actions regarding the timeline. Now, they watch Kronika's every move, planning on coming down on her hard if she steps out of line. Other than Setsuna, Trunks and Chronoa have been the ones that were the most bothered by Kronika's actions, not helping she allied herself with Zamasu. In turn, Kronika thinks Chronoa is a lame excuse of a time keeper and that Trunks' defiance reminds her of Liu Kang.
    • Speaking of the House of Time & Space, Kronika's antics had gotten some unwanted attention in the form of The Dahaka. If there is one thing that pisses of The Dahaka, is when someone screws with the flow of time and it doesn't help that this was done by someone who knows full well how changing time can mess with the flow of things. Not only that, but the fact that this isn't the first she has messed with the timelines made her a prime target for the Dahaka, even if Kronika outranks him in power.
  • Kronika's goals is to have both Shinnok and Cetrion fight it out with their respective armies, thus in her mind, keeping the balance between the realms (or as Albert Wesker had infamously put it as "separating the chaff from the wheat."). This is also why she is so interested in Galeem and Dharkon, two beings of order and chaos who have kept waging war against each other, that is what a balanced universe would be to Kronika. She relates towards Galeem a bit than to his darker counterpart, mostly because his perfect world and goals lean closer to what Kronika has been trying to achieve and so he swayed the angelic being to her side with the posibility of freeing him from his temple. She did the same with Dharkon, by promising a world consumed by darkness and appointed Noob Saibot to Dharkon as proof of what she implied.
  • Kronika once attempted to reset the timelines of both the Marvel and DC Universes. Only with a joint intervention from the One Above All and The Presence stopped her from doing so. Last thing Kronika needs is to invoke the ire from the Main House.
    • Ironically enough, her successful attempt in resetting the timeline has earned her an admirer in Thanos. Her genocidal tendencies not only gave him a run for his money, but also made Kronika a rival to his Lady Death.
  • Kronika made enemies with Kitty Pryde due in part to Kitty being the current owner of The Black Vortex. Think about it for a second: a Titan who is a Time Master getting her hands on a relic that can instantly make a person into a cosmic being? One that could potentially threaten the entire Pantheon? It's one of the main reasons why Kronika is banned from entering the House of Treasures. Not to say that Cetrion or Geras can try once Kronika clears their ascension...
  • Even if she ultimately uses her children to further her own goals, she does still care for them. Having caught wind of what happened to Shinnok after he failed to acquire a device he was looking for thanks to being foiled by intervention of Rachel Alucard, Kronika made her goal to take revenge on those that wronged Shinnok. First by sending Geras after the Occult Research Club (Details suggest that, even if he was defeated, he did leave a strong impression on the group after he seriously injured a couple of the members) and personally introducing herself to Rachel. While at first unfazed, Kronika was definitely someone to not be messed with and so Rachel sought Raiden to tell him what happened.
  • The Vex are a race that both intrigue and disgust her. By nature, the can exist outside time, meaning some of her time manipulation doesn't work on them but their desire to rule over existence goes against the balance she wants to achieve. That and they barely care for anything that she can offer them, so instead of swaying them to her side she tried to get Frost, Sektor and the rest of the Tekunin to defeat them and bring some of their tech to her to see what can they use. Needless to say, the Vex were not thrilled after the Tekunin attempted to rob them.
  • While most of the primordials and titans are either antagonistic or indifferent towards them, she and Nox are actually on friendly terms. This stems mostly from both being the Truly Single Parent of gods, with their respective children having some similarities. However, Nox cares little for Kronika's goals and would rather not get involved, but outside of that she is not at all bothered by her.
  • "Your life, your name. They will be wiped from history! Come. It is time... to die!"

[up][up] So it's fanart. I suppose that's not necessarily a dealbreaker, if everyone's okay with it. Even if I don't use it, I like the art. It looks good.

[down] Oh, yeah. Would have to do that. I'll just stick to what I got already.

[up][up] When the Joker tricked Mxyzptlk into giving him his reality warping powers in the Emperor Joker storyline, he used them to kill Batman, then resurrect him, and then kill him again, repeatedly. In fact, the way Superman beats him is by making him lose control of that power by exposing the fact that if Joker can't even permanently kill Batman, then he can't be omnipotent.

Taking votes for Adara, though I'm unsure where she would go since Spark Fairy covers more then just fairies, I'm thinking either the House of Theatric Convention and/or Light and Brightness, what do you guys think?

Votes:

Adara, Goddess of Spark Fairies (Adara The Sprite, The Sultry Little Sprite)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/adara_1.png
Adara in Cutscenes.
  • Rank: Quasideity
  • Symbol: A spark of light with wings.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Absolute Cleavage, Damsel in Distress, Fairy Companion, Fairy Sexy, The Heart, Leotard of Power, Most Common Super Power, Mystical White Hair, Pretend Prejudice, Super Gullible, Unobtainium
  • Domains: Sprites, Zeenium, Freedom, Rebellion, Teamwork
  • Herald: Other Sprites
  • Followers: Pyreflies, many fairies in Hyrule
  • Allies: Cael Cyndar, Thrall, the entire House of Fairies, Head Pixie, Jorgen Von Strangle, Wanda, many in the House of Dragons, Smaug, Optimus Prime
  • Enemies: Miraak, Denzel Crocker, Gul'dan, Garrosh Hellscream
  • Headbutting Heroes: Timmy Turner, Cosmo
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Navi
  • Distrusts: The Dovahkiin, Frankenstein's Monster
  • Possible Alternate Company Equivalent: Sparx
  • Respected by: Paarthurnax
  • Respects: Paarthurnax
  • Opposes: Smaug
  • Originally entered the Pantheon as the Herald of her friend Cael Cyndar; a fact she finds ironic since she saved him and largely orchestrated Dragon Revolution, it was eventually found that she would make a worthy goddess for Spark Fairies.
  • While working with Cael against the Orc Bureaucracy Adara's main job was to collect information and provide Cael with missions.
    • See also occasionally help in transporting various items such as dragon eggs and gold.
  • Is actually capable of carrying a dragon egg, despite being about 1/3 the size of one.
  • Though she was Gullible enough to believe that Galthran Etruk was a orc ally she no long believes that this is possible, at least with the orcs from her own universe. Thankfully she knows that not all orcs are bad and actually gets along with some of the good orcs in the Pantheon like Thrall and tries to keep Cael from trying to kill them.
    • Though only sometimes a orc Adara doesn't trust the Dovahkiin due to having multiple different counterparts. Through the Dovahkiin she also learned about Miraak and quickly became he's enemy due to the ancient alliance sprites have with dragons.
  • Is on good terms with the entirety of the House of Fairies, even The Fairy Godmother. This is due to her work in her world with the Sprite Emancipation. She also has a good relationship with various other fairies outside of that House for much of the same reasons.
    • She does find Navi annoying though.
  • Due to her work in the Dragon Revolution and due to the sprites from her world being ancient allies to dragon kind she quickly became friends with the non-evil aligned members of the House of Dragons.
  • Finds herself comparing Spyro and Sparx to Cael and herself for some reason.
  • Is greatly disturbed with Frankenstein's Monster, having seen something similar in the form of one of Galthran Etruk's unfinished experiments and as such finds herself incapable of trusting him.
  • Has a lot of respect for the old dragon Paarthurnax who sided with the ancient Nords instead of his own largely malevolent race. This respect is even returned by Paarthurnax for all the work she's done in the Dragon Revolution and Sprite Emancipation.
  • though she knows that it is sometimes necessary she hates working with Timmy Turner and Cosmo, the two are normally just to chaotic and even stupid to work with and sometimes even be near. The same can not be said for Wanda though who's at least sane and is someone she can enjoy the company of.
    • Through them she also made enemies with Denzel Crocker, who she sees as a enemy of fairies everywhere.
  • When Optimus Prime heard of the crimes caused by the Orc Bureaucracy he offered Adara his assistance on the grounds that, "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings".
  • Though Adara is very much against the various thefts Smaug has done against the good and neutral beings in the Pantheon, she is not above using his greed to her own advantage by revealing to him which of her enemies have treasure and where it might be. She is; however, out of fear not bold enough to lie to him though.
  • Finds the actions of Gul'dan and Garrosh Hellscream horrifying, even compared to the actions of the orcs from her universe.

[tup] to the Shadow with Gun and the below one of Luffy.

Here's a repost of the Mutant in case there's anything I should add.

The Masked Mutant, God Of Getting Done In by His Shape-Shifting (Libby Zacks, Captain Bob)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/maskedmutant.jpg
  • House:Shapeshifters
  • Lesser God
  • Alignment:Chaotic Evil
  • Symbol:An issue of his comic book
  • Portfolio: Stepped out of a comic to threaten reality, Voluntary Shapeshifting, A Manipulative Bastard with a talent for deception, Blood Knight,Card-Carrying Villain because it's essentially his purpose to be, Views a 12 year old as his nemesis, Will distintegrate henchmen at the drop of a hat, Evil Is Petty and Hammy Trouble shifting liquids because he can only form solids, Goaded into becoming acid due to his own impulsiveness, Evil Redhead (in his Libby form)
  • Allies: Judge Doom, Turbo, Slappy The Dummy, Envy The Jealous, Pride The Arrogant
  • Enemies: Deadpool, Buddy Baker, Adam West, Po the Panda,
  • Rivals: Zim
  • Heralds: Chinchilla, Root-Rot, Pinkie Flamingo
  • Within his own universe, this evil being was the star of a comic book popular among kids like young Skipper Matthews. One day, Skipper stumbled across the Mutant's lair and was soon strung along by a girl named "Libby" actually the villain in the form of a fellow comic fan. Just when it seemed he had his so called "greatest foe" cornered, the boy tricked the maniac into assuming a form he couldn't shift back from-Sulfuric Acid. Having finally reassembled himself, the Masked Mutant is eager for more worthy foes to challenge.
  • Although initially envious of fellow Goosebumps deity Slappy given how much more attention he gets from their creator, the Mutant does have to credit the dummy for his more diabolical feats, especially in spite of his size. Together, the evil duo enjoy spreading chaos and fear with the Mutant's shape-changing and Slappy's knack for framing people.
  • He's excited to have some worthy heroes to challenge, especially compared to the bumbling cowardly buffoons of his home dimension. To Buddy Baker's dismay, he's attracted the Mutant's attention for his similar fourth-wall exploits and mimicry powers.
  • Do not bring up his humiliating defeat by a 12 year old comic fan. Deadpool enjoys riffing him for this, as well as being a dated 90s parody, and much to the Mutant's chagrin, keeps coming back no matter how he kills him.
  • Very few are willing to work with him given his lack of regard for his minions. However, he does get along with Judge Doom, a fellow shape-shifting madman who stepped out of sequential art. The Mutant especially admires his "Dip" which he'd love to use on Skipper/Elastic Boy should they cross paths again...
  • The Homunculi Pride and Envy have complimented the way he uses his shape-shifting to screw with humans, and in turn the Mutant is intriqued by the humanoids. He's also interested in how he can screw over Edward Elric and Colonel Mustang by impersonating their loved ones.
  • Zim was once challenged by the crazed Mutant, who recognized his voice and thought he was Elastic Boy in disguise. The ensuing fight ended in a draw, as both combatants were far too impulsive and caught up in their villain gloating to ensure a clear victory. Despite the situation being cleared up, the Mutant now sees the alien as competition in world domination. Fortunately, both are far too arrogant to really advance their plans efficiently.
  • Slappy introduced him to Po, who the Mutant took an immediate disliking to. It probably doesn't help that the panda reminds him of Skipper in certain ways.
  • Despite being an obvious X-Men homage and possibly a mutant himself, Magneto has no interest in working with or recruiting him. For all his grandiosity, the Masked Mutant is a petty Psychopathic Manchild who wastes all his resources trying to kill a twelve year old, and thus would give his Brotherhood a bad name.
  • For a comic character come to life, the Masked Mutant ironically has no known origin. Given he's aware of his true nature, it doesn't seem to bother him that much, and he speculates one was probably never written for him anyway.

Since Dr. Eggman and Wily have just had their tropes changed and the SCP foundations trope is taken elsewhere, how about this new title: The SCP Foundation, Organization of Maintaining Normalcy and Classified Information

This would also put them Otherness as a member of The Otherworldly Rulers, Analysis & Records. Would that require a full rework?
