Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

Princess Sakuna, Goddess of Rice (Sah-Sah)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cropped_sakuna.png
  • Sakuna is the daughter of Takeribi the warrior god, and Toyohana the harvest goddess, and was quite a brat, wanting for nothing, and relied on her parents' wealth and past successes. However, big change would come for her, and will forge her into a new and better goddess.
    • It all began with a group of mortals, refugees from a burned-down village (actually a brigand band turncoat, the late brigand leader's little son, and three almost-to-be-slaves [two kids and a foreign missionary]), who were crossing the bridge to the Lofty Realm. But the bandit Ishimaru and new leader of those brigands had followed them, intending to abduct the kids and murder the "samurai" leading them after they had first escaped him. Sakuna walked in the scene drunk, her presence interrupted the exchange (and an inadvertent insult from the bandit incited her to kick him off, sending him across time and space, which ultimately led to him commanding an army of demons), and her negligence to escort the refugees out led to them entering the Lofty Realm to gorge in her offering of rice at the divine garner for Kamuhitsuki. In the process of repelling them, the ceremonial oils inside the garner were ignited and the whole place went up in flames.
    • As a consequence, because the bridge linking the realms has since disappeared, the refugees led by the "samurai" Tauemon are forced to aid Sakuna in rectifying the disorder left in the wake of their bedlam. As for Sakuna herself, she's banished from the capital and sent to the Isle of Demons (also known as Hinoe Island, home of the Ashigumo tribe), where her parents Takeribi the warrior god and Toyohana the harvest goddess (and former mortal) had met, and defeated the evil god Omizuchi, who had swarmed the demons in pursuit of Toyohana. Her task is to expunge the demons infesting the island, find the source of where they spawn, and destroy it, as well as receive further orders there.
    • Eventually, with her accomplishments, after exposing a plot involving toxic rice, Sakuna was no longer banished, though the edict regarding the Isle of Demons remains. That said, even with her luxurious home back, she's come to worry about the humans under her charge, and eventually she decided to return to Hinoe Island. After several more seasons, subduing Ishimaru, who had been leading the demons, a volcanic eruption that set her back considerably, and a festival, she eventually took the fight to the reawakening Omizuchi, and vanquished him for the forseeable distant future, avenging her parents and liberating their souls in the process. It almost came at the cost of her and Tama's lives, but her parents' souls came to her rescue and exchanged theirs instead to bring her back, but not before expressing pride in their daughter and bidding her farewell.
  • Due to how critical the role rice plays in her story, the Court of the Gods have sent an envoy to Lady Kamuhitsuki with an invite for Sakuna to the Trope Pantheons. Intriged with this realm, though also confused as to the exclusivity of this invite, arrangements were made (such as a torii gate being set up at Sakuna's place) while Kamuhitsuki relayed this invite to Sakuna. Curious of this Pantheon as well, Sakuna accepted the offer to see what it has in store.
  • Sakuna's "temple" takes the form of her parents' home in Hinoe Island fully reclaimed as much as possible from the demons, complete with all its accomodations and field for planting, as well as the surrounding fields tended to by Tauemon and the kappas. Yui is also there, though Myrthe, Kinta, and Kaimaru have since returned to the Lowly Realm.
  • One of the first things she was familiarized with is how humanity's methods in agriculture have advanced over the centuries, and has to come to terms with how… impersonal it's become with the use of machinery, especially since there're way more people now to feed, not to mention it being exported, making her realize that rice has become that important of a commodity.
    • Having had a friend in Kokorowa, Sakuna isn't contemptuous of machines and their use, and is considering the rice reaper harvester for use in the fields, though it's currently offset by its need for maintenance.
  • Technically speaking, her powers are affected by the gokokuhojo (the five grains: rice, barley/wheat, soybean, and two species of millet), though rice happens to be the most commonly associated of them all to her.
  • Her rice gets sold off to the Lofty Realm's capital under the brand "Revered Ears", and the name is retained for sale in the Pantheon. There was a bit of laughing over the silly name, but the quality has since more than made up for it.
  • Since she's not in her world anymore, Sakuna ends up getting other goodies instead of "amber" (not the ancient solidified tree sap that might hold ancient insects) that comes from the Tree of Creation and whose form (the amber's) varies depending on the density of the spiritual energy accrued. Thankfully, there's a special deposit for her kind of amber at her temple for increasing her strength and enhancing her weapons/tools.
  • Usually, she uses her Divine Raiment to grab onto things, whether to reach places, pull herself behind a foe, pull them to her, pull herself to them, and so on. However, during the battle against Omizuchi, after making a pact with her Raiment, she's also able to conjure a barrier with it to absorb his attacks, and then unleash a pulse of divine energy.
  • If there are any bouncy or hazardous materials (bouncy mushrooms, spikes, lava) in the area, Sakuna is too willing to send enemies flying straight at them for extra damage and chances for combos.
    • Speaking of lava, she can cross falls of it easily with her raiment. Otherwise, it's "merely" extremely searing for a goddess like herself if she touches it.
  • Despite her short stature that can easily mistake her for a child (not helped with her attitude), she's a "hale and hearty adult", though given the last time she kicked someone off, it ended with him becoming the leader of demons, she shows more restraint in her disapproval of such comments.
  • As the daughter of a harvest goddess, she's in good standing with all the ascended farmers of the Pantheon, such as the Harvest Moon!Farmer and Applejack, and from them she learned about other ways of farming, such as fruit orchards, vineyards, etc.
    • Another she's allied with is Holo, who is also a harvest goddess. To the Wise Wolf, rice might not be her patronage, but it is still a symbol of wealth and bounty.
    • Another pair of farmers include Aden and Sonja, though they've also tamed monsters, something she's not plannning to do anytime soon given her home got raided last time one of her own had took in a wounded rabbit demon.
    • While neiher Lest nor Frey are ascended, Ventuswill, as a fellow supporter of farmers, gets along with Sakuna as well.
  • While Yanato is actually just an Expy of Japan, she still found herself drawn to the mother goddess Amaterasu, whom she had the pleasure of cooperating with in a battle once, and she witnessed on amazement firsthand the white wolf's power to purify the land, driving away the darkness and making nature flourish. Her son Chibiterasu is also a very precious little thing, and no less capable in battle.
  • As an immense lover of rice-based foods, Hanayo Koizumi has expressed her deepest gratitude to Sakuna's Revered Ears making her favorite dishes all the better.
  • While her demon slaying was only to purge an island infested by them under orders of Kamuhitsuki, she's drawn the attention of other demon slayers, and her attention was in turn drawn to the Doom Slayer. While the forces of Hell are more packed with ranged armaments (the closest she got to this was against Ishimaru's demon form, and later his specter), she still proved proficient enough and able to adapt with enough time, though fighting with others is still something she's getting used to. At least Doomguy thinks Sakuna is better at it than Aqua.
    • Speaking of Aqua, she is both amazed with her incredible power and skillset (especially against undead) and disappointed with her stupidity (that she's literally unable to improve due to her max level doesn't help) and laziness to levels worse than Sakuna pre-Character Development.
  • Given that she's technically a goddess, an envoy from the Divine Powers approached Sakuna in hopes of recruiting her to their side in their fight against YHVH, whom they claimed was an aspect of Formos, whom she was familiar with through Myrthe's speeches of Him. However, their aside on their opinions on mortals made it clear that they were untrustworthy, though she figures YHVH was still bad news anyway.
  • It wasn't hard to hate Zamasu given just who he is, nothing new there, but he has it out for her especially due to her "sinful" mortal heritage given her mother Toyohana used to be one before becoming a goddess, as well as her support for mortals. This is despite the fact that he's part-mortal due to being a fusion with the mortal Goku Black.
  • Given she employs the use of spiders, snails, and frogs as pest control for her rice fields, and has recently included crayfish and dragonflies on the list, Sakuna was approached one day by Muffet, who had a strange proposition to make. As long as her spiders aren't harmed by the goddess or those under her, the spider-girl will lend some to her fields (not that spiders are in short supply, anyway) in exchange for a few shares of rice. Sakuna could find no problems with this and accepted.
  • Given her powers rely on the harvest's bounty, she's naturally in opposition to those capable of sundering a land's capacity to grow crops, be it from volcanic ash, armies/raiders using "scorched earth" tactics, or pollution (like Hexxus). As such, she supports the Spring Sprite, and opposes the Firebird, though she's not sure what to think of Yveltal and his dynamic between the two.
  • Due to both having been from high standing at the start of their tales before falling from grace and having to work their way back up, she fostered an Odd Friendship with the Assassin Altair.
  • There are those who express squick in regards to kuchikamizake and how it's made. This is not the case for Sakuna, whose dominion also covers that… drink, since rice is one of its ingredients. As such, she holds respect for Mitsuha Miyamizu.
  • Having had to deal with rice that's like hers only to have an aftertaste that compels those who eat it to subsist on only that kind, she dislikes those who would manipulate their food (or their competitors) via unnatural means for any reasons, usually for getting sales.
  • Holds contempt for those who usurp a group and turn it from good to bad, given the brigand band Tauemon was part of used to be Robin Hood-style] before [[spoiler:Ishimaru killed the leader and took over with his Might Makes Right philosophy. Shredder is one prime example of this, and she opposes all of them, with the 1987 incarnation being regarded less of a threat compared to all the others. Another are the Corpus with their care for nothing but profit.
  • Has contempt for defeated villains who refuse pity from heroes, and being Defiant to the End just like Ishimaru, such as Tai Lung, Lord Shen, and Junko Enoshima. Their arrogance, genocide, and despair plot respectively make them worse still.

Alright, here comes Chacha again. Any more suggestions?

Chacha, Goddess of Red Riding Hood Replicas (Magical Princess)

  • Intended House: Character Expies
  • [tups]:
  • Demigoddess, Intermediate Goddess as Magical Princess
  • Symbol: Her Princess Medallion
  • Theme: You Color My Feelings, Magical Princess, Holy Up! when transforming
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Genki Girl, Princess Protagonist, Little Red Fighting Hood, Inept Mage, comes from a land that is a Fairy Tale Free-for-All, Magical Girl Warrior, often winds up making a Hurricane of Puns
  • Domains: Fairy Tales, Princesses, Magical Girls, Puns
  • Heralds: The other Eight Holy Warriors of Love, Courage, and Hope (Riiya, Shiine, Seravy, Dorothy, Yakko, Marine, Orin)
  • Allies: Ruby Rose, Red Riding Hood of the Blood Team
  • Enemies: B.B. Hood
  • Chacha was born as the heir to a brilliant kingdom, but had to be sent away when a demon known as Daimao and his army of evil invaded. Growing up under the care of Seravy, the greatest magician in the land, Chacha would find friends in Riiya, a boy who can turn into a wolf, and Shiine, the servant of Seravy's good friend Dorothy. When the three of them are together, Chacha can transform into a heroine called Magical Princess who, utilizing a bow, a sword, and a shield, was able to defeat Daimao and restore her parents, though the items needed for this were later sacrificed to prevent his army from invading again.
  • Determined to cause as much damage as possible to the GUAG, a collaboration between the various groups who oppose the Sailor Senshi saw them send every monster at their disposal to attack their headquarters. Slowly but surely, the monsters began to overwhelm the GUAG, and Cosmos, in an act of desperation, opened up a portal to a realm untouched by the Pantheon, where she encountered Seravy.
    • After learning of her plight, Seravy brought Chacha and her friends together and they arrived at the scene of the battle. Cosmos, using her powers, was able to perfectly recreate the three Magical Princess items, which allowed Chacha to transform, turning the tide of the battle and forcing the monsters to retreat. For this, Chacha and her friends were given legal permission to ascend, settling down in a series of temples based off their homes back in their home world.
  • Being based of the tale of Little Red Riding Hood, Chacha was quick to befriend the similarly inspired Ruby Rose, viewing her as a Cool Big Sis. Ruby personally notes that, as Magical Princess, Chacha has won many battles and defeated many monsters.
    • There’s also the girl known only as "Red Riding Hood" of the Blood Team, whom Chacha found similar grounds to be friends with after learning about her. Chacha vowed to help her should she ever find herself in trouble again, especially involving the Jail.
    • However, on the opposite side of the spectrum, Chacha encountered B.B. Hood, who wasn’t nearly as interested in being friends with her and, being the psychopath she is, attempted to shoot her with her machine guns. A quick transformation and fight later, and B.B. realized she’d have to be more careful when dealing with Chacha.

@ Aj: Gibril of The Seven, like the rest of her team, draws inspiration from Fairytale Motifs. In her case her main theme is Little Red Riding Hood as evidenced by her Grimoired form having a hood and red color scheme with the added bonus of some wolf-like features for good measure. She wouldn't be friends with Chacha either, though. On top of being an Ax-Crazy punk (whose Septimal power over metal is primarily fueled by the iron in blood no less), she's apart of a Super Supremacist group who would want nothing more than to build a utopia for themselves and wipe anyone that doesn't have powers like them.

  • August 18th, Universal Century 0079. A reconnaissance mission to a recently-constructed space colony in Side 7 would have dire consequences for its residents. For this colony held three of the most advanced mobile suits in history: the RX-75-4 Guntank, RX-77-2 Guncannon and last but not least, the RX-78-2 Gundam. These state of the art war machines were the Earth Federation's Macguffin, designed to turn the tide of the One Year War being ridden by the Principality of Zeon and their fearsome Zakus. An ill-advised attack resulted in the death of the Gundam's planned test pilot, the destruction of all but 3 suitsGANDAMU! , and the chief engineer's son literally Falling into the Cockpit of the Gundam. The defeat of the two once-invincible Zakus signalled that the year-long war for Spacenoid independence was about to enter a new chapter. A chapter written by Amuro Ray, pilot of the Gundam and many more to come.
    • Tasked with a ragtag crew of civilians aboard the mobile suit carrier White Base with transporting the Operation V units to Jaburo, the EFF headquarters in the Amazon, Amuro successfully used his technological know-how and growing pilot skills to destroy all obstacles in their path, including some of Zeon's best aces like Garma Zabi, Ramba RalGANDAMU! , the Black Tri-Stars, M'Quve and tragically, Lalah Sune (see below for details). The Gundam was dubbed the "White Devil" for how easily it dispatched Zeon's mobile suit forces and eventually netted the Earth Federation victory with Amuro becoming the second highest-scoring ace of the One Year War, but at the cost of a peaceful life.
    • Amuro would be treated lavishly by the Federation post-war for helping them, buying a luxurious mansion with his wartime pensions and becoming an instructor at the Cheyenne Base Mobile Suit Academy in Wyoming, North America. However, this was a Gilded Cage; discovery of Amuro's Newtype powers made him a constant object of surveillance by the military who wanted to control him for their own nefarious reasons. The onset of the Gryps War brought on by EFF anti-Zeon force the Titans and some prodding from his old friend Fraw persuaded him to overcome his PTSD and chronic combat fatigue to return to active combat as a pilot for Earth-based resistance group Karaba, piloting the MSK-008 Dijeh. In this position, he mentored Zeta Gundam pilot Kamille Bidan and became his equivalent on Earth while Kamille was fighting against the Titans in space.
    • After the Gryps War, Amuro joined the special operations task force Londo Bell under Bright Noa as commander of the force's mobile suit squads. It was here that he encountered his long-time nemesis Char Aznable for the last time, now a Knight Templar plotting to drop asteroids on Earth to force humanity to move to space and become Newtypes. The RX-93 ν Gundam, a unit which Amuro designed himself narrowly defeated Char's Sazabi and prevented the asteroid base Axis from colliding with Earth, pilots from both sides helping him the whole way. This fight however would prove to be Amuro's last. Pushing his psychic abilities to their limit overloaded the ν Gundam's Psycho-Frame and destroyed Amuro's and Char's bodies, ending their historic rivalry once and for all.
  • Ascended after a psychedelic journey into the very depths of time and space, surveying the endless cycle of war resulting from humanity's mistakes. He almost lost hope from seeing that his efforts to prevent the fall of humanity to violence were for naught, culminating in the ∀ Gundam cleansing nearly all traces of humanity from the Earth. Lalah Sune helped him see that the Gundam multiverse is a cycle of humanity's mistakes that will repeat over and over again, but the legend of the Gundam started by Amuro is proof that humanity isn't powerless to change its fate. Amuro regained new hope for the future, whatever or whenever it was, and it seemed that the universe itself heeded his wish. Amuro's spirit was enveloped by the white light of Eternity itself, transporting him to a near-empty landscape with Lalah gone. Great plains, houses and characters from different universes intermingling signalled to him that a new, clean slate was there for him to build upon. For this was the Pantheon, and a new chapter of his life was about to begin...
  • An introverted person by nature with a single-minded interest in machines. Not someone suited for the military, moreover as the one manning their trump card against the enemy. While Amuro was a capable pilot, inside he was a complete wreck, a teenager with no prior war experience pushed into a position where he got No Sympathy for being unprepared (including one infamous Bright Slap), near zero therapy for his trauma, losing his father to oxygen deprivation and falling down the stairs and the deaths of many people who he came to consider loved ones. This lingering trauma along with poor social skills extends to the many heralds he has, all who support him in various ways:
    • The crew of the White BaseGANDAMU!  has become a second family to him. They largely moved on to civilian lives after the war but continue to assist him in the Pantheon. Fraw Bow (his caretaker and close friend) drops in every so often to make sure he's eating well, her husband Hayato Kobayashi and Ryu Jose serve with him in the GUAG Robot War Division, Kai Shiden is a freelance journalist who digs up dirt on Amuro's possible enemies, and so on. Sayla Mass lives with Amuro in his temple, largely to mediate the tension between him and her brother CharGANDAMU! . It's telling that Amuro trusts her enough to be his second-in-command.
    • His father Tem Ray was the chief engineer for Operation V and designed the Gundam himself. An explosion in the colony during the attack sent him into space where extended oxygen deprivation left him delusional and prone to mood swings. Following rescue, Tem resided in neutral Side 6 (Riah) and after the victory at Solomon, presumably died falling down the stairwell leading to his apartment. His reunion with Amuro and his estranged wife Kamaria was a joyous occasion, and despite being far from reconciling are resolute on making up for time lost from the war with Amuro. Tem is semi-retired to treat his mental issues, but regularly checks in on projects in the GUAG Engineering Division. Don't ever mention the Tem Ray circuit in front of him; he wept in despair upon realizing he made a piece of junk.
    • Karaba operative Beltorchika Irma is another one of Amuro's trusted confidantes, having gotten past their Destructive Romance in Zeta. A fangirl of Amuro yet not altogether stupid, she does counter-intelligence work for the GUAG. A mobile suit team equipped with modified Zeta Gundams rounds out Amuro's heralds, having served with him incognito during the First Neo Zeon War. Red Snake (aka Yurii Ajissah) met Amuro at a funeral when she was just a child, and Gray Wolf (aka Shin Matsunaga, the White Wolf of Solomon) is a liaison between the GUAG Robot War Division and Char's faction of the GUAE Mecha Cohort.
    • He eventually settled on Chirico Cuvie as his high priest, sympathizing with the Super-Soldier who was accused of treason for being at the wrong place at the wrong time, and their introvert, shut-in personalities. Amuro appointed Chirico his special attaché to the Division's 2nd Battlegroup, and his eyes and ears on the ground with the rank of 1st Lieutenant.
  • You don't need to be in the GUAG to know that Amuro is a straight badass. Period. His service in the Earth Federation Forces, while largely unnoticed in his own universe, was greatly rewarded in the Pantheon. Amuro has received the EFF Medal of Honor, GUAG Medal of Honor and the GUAG Sacrifice Badge 1st Class, among others. The last award came with a promotion to Captain and most senior mecha pilot in the GUAG Robot War Division, reporting directly to then Rear Admiral Bright Noa. Adding to "White Devil" and the "White Unicorn", Amuro is also nicknamed "The Transcendent" by some pilots due to his post-mortem journey into the depths of time and space that to them, makes him understand the plight of the Gundam multiverse more than anybody, even the strongest Newtypes.
    • Aboard the Ra CailumGANDAMU!  are an assortment of Federation Ace Pilots and Gundam pilots who equal Amuro in skill, since novices would never be able to go along with his demanding plans. First formed after the Ra Cailum was refitted to house more mobile weapons, RWD Squad Alpha engages in high-stakes missions for the GUAG Robot War Division, and are the first responders on scene whenever something particularly bad happens (for membership, see here). His superior, Bright Noa, in spite of a rocky start filled with angst, is one of Amuro's closest friends in the Pantheon, and could pass for a bar buddy if he weren't so straight-laced. He still keeps a framed picture of Amuro in his office.
    • What Amuro lacks in raw psychic power like Kamille and Judau, he makes up for in skill. Made in response to Char's new Nightingale, his Hi-ν Gundam utterly trounces most of the competition. It is visually identical to the official version (sans the violet colours which are back to black and white) but has various tricks from alternate-universe units.
      • The Minovsky particle generator gives the Hi-ν's Variable Phase Shift armor unlimited operating time, rendering it immune to all but the most devastating of physical attacks. The Mirage Colloid Dispersal system allows the Gundam to cloak not only itself but at least two partner units within a 30-35 metre radius for stealth missions, which renders them invisible and intangible to physical attack and radar. This negates the Phase Shift armor however and biological means like telepathy can still detect them.
      • Six Fin Funnels are equipped on the back (ten in the Double Fin Funnel configuration), and have bomber, beam, long-range scout and Minovsky particle dispersal variants. Invisible Fin Funnels reverse-engineered from Aila Jyrkiäinen's Qubeley Papillon are used when in crowded situations.
      • The Psycho-Frame embedded in the Hi-ν Gundam is rumoured to be more powerful than any of its predecessors, including the Strike Freedom's SEED Mode and the 00 Qan[T]'s Quantum System. Augmented by the Plavsky particle micro-emitters along certain surfaces of the Gundam, it allows for dramatically increased mobility and dexterity, at times even to unnatural levels.
    • Amuro has a distinctive reputation among heroic Gundam pilots, with even Sour Supporters like Mikazuki Augus acknowledging his worth. His closest allies in the Division are Shiro Amada, Kira Yamato and Setsuna F. Seiei, all committed to the ideal of peace despite that being all but impossible. Amuro admits to being a bit envious of Shiro. If he had a chance to fake his death and get out of the war without punishment, he might've taken it.
    • As a high-ranking pilot, Amuro is very chummy with others under his command, and most of them in turn regard him as one of the genre's greatest stalwarts. Had it not been for him, Patlabor, Macross, VOTOMS and many other franchises would not exist today. The other two of the "Mecha Big Three", Kouji Kabuto (Super Robot) and Ryoma Nagare (Combining Mecha) all respect him to the highest degree as brothers-in-arms. Ryoma's more colourful style of combat clashes with Amuro's more subdued, cautious style but the two veterans complement each other perfectly. They don't remember it too vividly, but their time fighting on a post-apocalyptic Earth composed of all mecha universes fused into one was well-spent to make them a dangerous Red Oni, Blue Oni duo.
      • Some Ship Tease is allegedly brewing between him and Misato KatsuragiGANDAMU! , not least of which because their seiyuus voiced Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon respectively. Amuro has taken Shinji under his wing, fearful for the boy's future (his mother, while redeemed is still not in the best of states). When not on duty, he is always game for a visit to WILLE headquarters aboard Misato's flagship, the AAA Wunder.
  • It didn't take long for Char and Amuro to come across each other in the Pantheon... nor did it take long for a big fight to happen. It took a while before Sayla and Nanai managed to prise the two apart. Both Amuro and Char have never gotten over their mutual angst over Lalah until her return to the Pantheon (again, see below). On a good day, they are comparable to Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr in their respect for the other and often form truces for mutual survival. On other days, expect them to be at each other's throats over differing views on humanity's future, neither giving in. Amuro still believes that humanity still has a chance to shape its own destiny without violence while the more cynical Char insists that only through cataclysm and disaster can they be forced to change. Yet they are Not So Different; both had screwed-up family lives, were forced into a life of war and death and losing their loved ones stopped them from settling down permanently. They do not deny the similarities, but insist the way they individually responded to their traumas was the right way. Expect lots of carnage, spectacle and verbal jousting when they encounter each other on the battlefield.
    • It took Amuro a while to get used to the idea of Char Clones, facepalming at the idea of his Archenemy having dozens of expies. There are some who are better, like Zechs Merquise, Harry Ord and Graham Aker, whose fascination with the Gundam he can relate to. Others like Rau Le Creuset he intensely dislikes for being worse reflections of Char obsessed with the idea of ending humanity. He pities Full Frontal as a person who had Char's ideals forcibly imprinted onto him. As for Gilbert Durandal, Amuro is staunchly opposed to ending all wars at the cost of choosing your own path in life, the same reason why he opposes the Grand United Alliance of Law.
    • Isn't pleased that there are worse mecha pilots in the Pantheon. Ali al-Saachez reminds Amuro of every sociopathic, sadistic and battle-hungry soldier he's ever met in battle. He would love to see Setsuna and the Meisters put that man in his place. Things got worse when he discovered that the Black Tri-Stars had ascended. Eager to avenge the death of Lt. Matilda, his team rushed to their target in the House of Technology. However, the trio saw him coming and high-tailed it out of there. On their end, the Black Tri-Stars don't fancy having to face a now all-powerful Newtype who managed to best their Jet Stream Attack until they've honed their skills enough.
    • Amuro's worst hatred is set aside for GUAE members who exploit the vulnerable for the sake of war. He's seen people do that at the expense of Cyber-Newtypes, impoverished Spacenoids and Lalah and he never wants to see it again. Obvious targets are Nobuyuki Sugou, Shou Tucker and Ryoma Sengoku for their ruthless prioritization of science over their subjects' consent. He admits to being prejudiced towards GLaDOs, because his original Gundam is in the Treasures and thus under her care.
  • Amuro has a... bittersweet relationship with his fans in the Pantheon. Unlike Char who eschews his popularity beyond manipulating them, Amuro doesn't mind openly revelling in it sometimes. Between being made fun of for stupid decisions and people asking for autographs, he admits that it's a welcome change from being exploited and isolated by the Federation in his mortal life. It's said that he lends his voice to special events in Gunpla Battle Nexus Online and Gunpla Battle every so often and even physically visiting Gunpla Expo Japan in those words incognito every year. Amuro is otherwise very private outside of his few public engagements as doing more would cut into his work schedule.
    • Allies with the Gundam Build Fighters deities and was opposed to those civilians joining the GUAG as it would tarnish their views of Gunpla. Requisite fanboy Sei Iori convinced him otherwise, and Reiji was among those who helped insert a Plavsky Particle emission system into Amuro's new Gundam. The lot do creep him out sometimes with their fanboy/fangirl behaviour, but he enjoys their company.
      • Memorizing his lines like some gospel prayer is a bad habit of theirs, but he can't blame that being slapped by Bright Noa into a MAN OF DESTINY!! will always be a point of Self-Deprecation. He even humours himself with his legendary line, "Not even my father hit me!" at times.
    • Amuro even has a Gunpla collection in his temple, though it's nowhere near as impressive as his fans. His collection room is completely empty sans a box with pliers, model knife and sandpaper, the collection itself and a desk with cutting mat. Oh, and a pile of unopened boxes (High Grades, Master Grades, merchandise, an unopened God Hand Nippers box, and stands) lies neglected in the corner. His favourite is, oddly enough, the High Grade Reborns Gundam.
  • Love is an extremely touchy subject for Amuro, given his great troubles with it. The loss of Lalah Sune, one of the strongest Newtypes in existence who shared a telepathic bond and an intimate understanding of him was what made his rivalry with Char very, very personal. She was killed in the midst of a brutal battle between the two who both loved her, her Elmeth protecting Amuro from what would otherwise have been a fatal strike by Char's Gelgoog. Amuro knows not that Char bribed the old Chief Justice Johnson to bring Lalah into the Pantheon as a GUAE member, and he would likely be less than pleased if he knew. He's already had one row with his sworn rival over her (before Lalah arrived) and that was enough to level the room.
    • Due to his remaining trauma from Lalah's death, Amuro is seemingly incapable of having a romantic relationship without it falling apart due to his secludedness or ending in death for the lover. He visits the therapeutic services in the Houses of Despondency and Love often to clear the pain which has never subsided completely. Many deities in both pity him for his troubles, but can never seem to help without hurting him more.
  • One thing many admire Amuro for is his unceasing belief in the potential of humanity. Even after living in a world where humanity does nothing but wage war, abuse its inferiors and destroy its environment, Amuro continues to believe that his kind can do better. Extraterrestrials, ally and enemy alike question Amuro as to why he continues to fight for humanity, and his answer is always the same: that humanity is imperfect and doomed to extinction, but the same could be said for any species in the universe. He's just fighting for what he believes in, and that they can always do better even after centuries of the opposite occurring.
    • The Emperor of Humanity, his Imperium of Man and his Order Of Humanity seem to think highly of the soldier who fought for humanity to his death, even if it was soon to become a Dying Race within the next few decades. Even if his training and fortitude is nowhere near as rock-solid as the Primarchs (or even the average Imperial Guardsman), the nicer ones like Vulkan can respect his desire to save civilians beyond the call of duty.
    • It is for this reason that Amuro abhors the villainous members of the Grand United Alliance of Machines including the Cybermen, Brainiac and the Necrons for advocating for the supremacy of machine-kind at the expense of humanity's capacity to feel and love. He hates to say it, but sometimes death is favourable to becoming a cold, unfeeling shell.
  • Amuro may be one to stick up for humanity, but it doesn't limit him to just ordinary humans as friends. He has others to befriend that help him out aplenty, and in turn, he helps them out back.
    • Ace Pilot turned Green Lantern Hal Jordan is one of a small circle that Amuro can truly relate to. Both once held reluctance and fear of their new lot in life before rising to the occasion and becoming legends, though Amuro only became as such after his death. Hal often discusses his stint as the host of Parallax after losing Coast City to Mongul with great regret to Amuro, and Amuro is just as honest about his failure to protect those he loves.
    • Doesn't usually engage in battles with Toku kaijin (that's for the specialists) but he is a good friend of ex-GokaiGalleon captain AkaRed, in more ways than one. It's rumoured they gallivant in Amuro's free time, which he vehemently denies.
    • The Black Organization's cyber-attacks on GUAG holdings has also forced Amuro to work together with a NOC (non-official cover) agent in their ranks: the vengeful Tooru Amuro (code name Bourbon, real name Rei Furuya). Amuro has advised him not to engage fellow spy Shuichi Akai for the sake of avenging Scotch, as it may lead to worse tragedy. Whether Bourbon will listen is up for debate.
    • It wasn't surprising that Nanoha Takamachi would seek out her senior as a partner of sorts. As a fellow 'White Devil'GANDAMU! , a nickname she carries with pride, the two form a sort of 'secondary duo' (aside of her legendary one with Fate). In battle together, Nanoha deals with small-sized threats, Amuro deals with big-sized ones. Their combined skill can defeat almost any foe. They are not together: Nanoha used to make fun of it very briefly before learning how screwed up Amuro's love life is. Belying her desire to understand others, she can be his confidante when needed, though not as much as Sayla.
  • During his time in the Pantheon, Amuro found himself working alongside the Autobots of Cybertron, following a Decepticon attack on the Ra Cailum. The young pilot fought valiantly to defend the ship but his Gundam was quickly overwhelmed by Megatron and his forces, hoping to use the valuable technology aboard to create a mass-produced Decepticon army. Luckily, Optimus Prime and his troops were able to assist Amuro's squad in repelling the Decepticons and following their victory, made an alliance with them. Prime, in particular, was impressed by Amuro's skills and bravery and even made him an honorary Autobot.
    • That being said, this friendship took an interesting turn when "simulation experts" Wiz and Boomstick brought Amuro and Optimus to their facility and fight in a Death Battle. Though both put up a decent fight, Prime ended up overpowering and defeating Amuro due to his combat experience and, well, unleashing the Matrix upon the human. But both combatants weren't pleased with the results. Prime wasn't pleased with the prospect of taking a human life and Amuro felt he needed more training if he was to keep up with the Cybertronians. He's made it a priority to keep upgrading his Gundam to match more powerful threats and whenever possible, tests them out in training exercises against Prime. For his part, Optimus is pleased with the progress Amuro is making, but only hope that when the Forever War is over, the human can find some peace in the aftermath.
  • Amuro is a tough nut to crack, powerful yet flawed, pacifistic yet willing to fight, and most importantly, all-loving yet ruthless. He is living proof of how indomitable humanity is, and as he pursues peace in the escalating Forever War of the Alliances, he's going to make sure all who threaten him and his loved ones remember that.

I'm going to try a previous proposal again. When I tried it before, I was more discouraged by the sole reply it received than I probably should've been, and didn't try to make a case in favor of my position.

Back here, I made the initial proposal for Kuroki Kaze as God of Summon Bigger Fish.

The only response I got was from WhirlRX, who said:

I don't know. The times he used Summon is to beat the opposing forces who while threatening, are not the "Uber Threat" that would entitled to bring in a "bigger uber Threat" to challenge it. Atleast most of the time.

I could write a whole tirade arguing that the threats are uber in the context of the anime, but I'll just say that I don't think Summon Bigger Fish is about specifically countering one world-shaking monstrosity with another.

Rexy in Jurassic World, John Wick, the dog in Watership Down, a random cave monster that Obi-Wan mind tricks into eating some droids in the Revenge of the Sith novelization. All of these are considered examples of a bigger fish being summoned, but in a world where nuclear weapons/people who can crush cities with their minds exist, none of the things these entities fight are 'uber threats'.

If some antagonistic force is causing problems, and a separate force is actively brought in to fight it, that's Summon Bigger Fish - the scale of the threat doesn't matter. There are people who have summoned fish that were bigger than what Kaze summons. There are threats that would warrant such a summoning much more than the Monster of the Week. But for Kaze, his whole gimmick revolves around one-upping whatever threat happens to be around by throwing a bigger one at it, which is why I think he should get the role.

If possible, I'd like to get more than one person's input on this. Good? Bad? What house would this belong in if it were approved? Is there a different trope that better suits Kaze?

@Excessive-Menace was also the one who informed me two days ago that there was no existing Summon Bigger Fish god and asked who I had in mind, so they should probably take a look at it too.

[tup] for Kaze. I’m sold on the argument and I’ve seen a few episodes of the anime dubbed in my country.

Say, given the recent Touhou purge, even though I’ve revamped the tables, I think The Pantheonic Bestiary could use a significant update.

I would have preferred deletion for the Beastiary because no one has bothered and I am sure no one has future plans for it, so it is just unnecessary filler.

Ludwig's final updates. I think I'm done (though some ideas for moon-based deities would be nice)

An unsightly beast... a great terror looms! Ahh... Ludwig the Accursed is coming. Have mercy... Have mercy upon us...

  • The Scourge of Beasts that occured within Yharnam has shook the city and many times has the hunt occured throughout its timeline yet in the early days right during its beginnings, some of the Healing Church took it seriously and one among them all rallied the people to fight against the unending hunt in the hopes of finding closure to it all. Yet for all their efforts, it all remained in vain and thus began the repeated cycle of Healing Church hunters becoming beasts later on. One popular hero by the name of Ludwig brought the situation to light and was the first of the Healing Church hunters to gather as many citizens to fight the menace, eventually creating the hunts that would ravage Yharnam countless times. While he did so courageously, his sanity did not last long and for all the blood that he took, began his transformation to beasthood, a curse to those within the Healing Church. Him succumbing to the hunt itself became the final nail in the coffin, turning him into a mindless beast, as cursed as the Hunter's Nightmare can be.
  • Following the revelation of the Great Ones, a new realm appeared that was enterable, the Hunter's Nightmare, a twisted mesh of some of Yharnam's imagery but with all the blood and beasts still lingering. Old Hunters that have become maddened and enraged by any living being would ravage the newcomers and surround the nightmare, leaving many unwilling to enter. However, there those who were seen entering an underground tunnel underneath the city but never came back, leaving some to investigate the premise. One expedition lead by the Hunter has lead him to a large bloodied arena, of which many bodies are seen lying around, and on the middle would be a beast feared among even those within the nightmare itself. Before the Hunter could react, the beast immediately mauled him to death, forcing him back into the arena to face the beast, this time with assistance from the Monster Hunters who were slowly getting used to the place. At first, it all seemed right as the group managed to keep their concentration against such beast, not until said beast would regain its sanity and bring out a sword with a moonlit theme. Of which it caught them offguard and nearly killed them all. It was not until the Hunter finally drew the killing blow and ended the beast-swordsman, revealed to be the fabled hero of Yharnam, Ludwig who was accursed in the realm he is in.
  • Most Yharnamites who have transformed into harrowing beasts have little to none about their personal life as their transformation would remove that part of their humanity and Ludwig is no exception. A being bearing the image of a merged horse and a man, his fate is the curse to all Healing Church members who partook in the hunt as the consequence of the entire blood transfusion they conducted in the city. Multiple legs, a second lamprey-like mouth with many eyes and an urge to kill like most beasts, he would be among the worst of all transformations. There is one thing special about him though as few retain some form of intelligence and during battle, Ludwig would regain sanity once more as he would be during the brink of death. Tapping into the moonlight, he would battle but this time, the grace and nobility he had as a Healing Church hunter, allowing him dying gracefully against his opponent. This discovery alone makes him a unique beast as he has not fully succumed to the curse, or perhaps has a unique connection to the moonlight, as some of his detractors would say.
  • He would have very few people to recollect with, even with his sanity in check, outside of the Hunter, who he knows from his last battle. Although the Hunter he saw has none of the Church Attire, until he came back with white garments, of which he actively knew for asking him the fate of his noble warriors. The answers vary but the Hunter is given the Holy Moonlight Sword after the last meeting. Even with such answer, one cannot help but see the irony of his fate, as he continued to fight off the hunt and yet for all his courageous attitude, his transformation is mockery in its purest form.
    • At one point, Ludwig came with another response, this time thanking the Hunter for able to give him peace. What some may guess from this is that the Hunter killing him gave him clarity before he died and that without his intervention, his beasthood would remain and would have made him suffer as he lived. He refused to divulge more into the response, prompting other knowledge seekers to ask the Hunter more information on what he saw on his encounter.
  • Outside of his beasthood, various deities have wondered what to do with him specifically on trying to revive his inner sanity. No other methods have worked outside of him tapping into the mysterious force of moonlight. Of which emanates from his Holy Moonlight Sword, a sword of unknowable origin that possibly only he knows. Even the most staunch and valorous deities have some sort of clinging interest with the sword, while also creating a sense of caution due to some of the warnings made from a certain hunter named Simon, who might have hints that the same Holy Moonlight Sword that helped regain the sanity of Ludwig during battle, may have also been the root of his demise. It seems that for all of Ludwig's trappings, that secret has become both his greatest weapon and his biggest crux.
    • However, due to some misaligned issue during ascension or perhaps some manifestation of manipulation from the Court of the Gods, Ludwig's sanity has been restored. Albeit in the same scenario as Artorias, though he is much easier to control as the Holy Moonlight Sword was able to restore his mind. With that out of the way, Ludwig may have the capacity to interact with deities, expect the reactions of horror to be present whenever someone tries to converse with him. Just try to ignore his looks though.
  • As mentioned above, very few try to interact with Ludwig despite some of the newer conditions present. Most are warriors of some kind as his visions of what the Church hunters he taught drew inspiration from them. His restoration is what brought Leonidas' some form of interest, seeing that the spartan himself has read the tales of the Healing Church and how Ludwig treated his compatriots similarly like how spartans treat each other, as some sort of battle-brother if you will. And while he praises Ludwig's efforts, one thing has to be said about him and that to tell Ludwig the actual truth of his warriors will cause him to snap and lash out in pure beastial rage. This makes him rather cautious when speaking to him as he may inadvertently cause him to do such.
    • Meanwhile, Guts has begrudgingly accepted Ludwig into his ranks seeing that the Black Swordsman has seen similar beings like him, though lucky for him Ludwig has been restored to a certain degree. The tale of a Church Hunter able to go up against the Scourge of the Beasts, only to see him become a beast has earned him some sympathy. The Skull Knight has also accepted him into their ranks, especially seeing that he is still worthy of combat, though he has reminded Guts to watch him as his looks does remind him about a certain rape horse, something that Farnese has warned Guts about on first meetings. Still, as long as he remains sane, he can keep a good eye on him and trusts him.
    • Outside of the same, if not too similar, fates, Ludwig finds great kinship in Artorias. The similarities are due to both being once-beloved heroes and those who were simply doing the right thing, yet they fell and became corrupted, becoming the very thing they swore to fight against. Then there is that whole manipulation from the Court of the Gods who did a few minor changes to their psyche. They have both agreed to help the other fight the source of their respective corruptions and went as far as to make a vow that they both be ready to strike the other one down should they completely lose themselves once more. Another warrior of similar fate appeared but this time from the perspective of a long Slave Knight. Gael, as he called himself, sees equal similarity between the two as they are dedicated to their goals and are not as bad when it comes to alignment although it goes without saying that Gael was more of the opposite as he was sane but chose to go insane to accomplish his goal, by eating the Dark Soul to give it some form of pigment for the Painter.
  • Other Hunters have seen his form and whether or not they would be disgusted at first appearance, the challenge fighting him exists, a challenge that the Monster Hunters have taken to heart as they have taken challenges before with gigantic beasts, although Ludwig is still a warrior so he can take and handle such fights compared to the animalistic behaviour for some of their prey. Some also have taken pity in Ludwig's fate so much that fighting him is not considered part of their resume. Hoss Delgado was among the first to deny hunting him down as deep down all that ugly looks is a man who simply wanted the best for his people. The latter also gave Darius Crowley some form of pity since he does sympathize with his actions and regardless of his fate, him regaining his sanity and wanting confirmation on the hopes of his Healing Church Hunters. He has halted attacks on him and can hope that he can find peace.
    • A certain House that contained many heroes of ages have mixed feelings about Ludwig, mainly because of his looks. The possibility of Ludwig going back to his beastly form is shaky but for the most part, his history may be optimistic, a bit too optimistic for the world he was living in. While good in intention, the same can be said about some of Ludwig's decisions that caused a ton of backlash on some of his compatriots. Hence, some detractors would be noted in regards to the Holy Moonlight Sword and even a rune he personally owned, Guidance. His response also had doubts on the House since said opinions on him reminds him of his past life and some of the heroes there, much like the other hunter organizations in Yharnam are not as noble as he could have hoped to be.
    • The Hunt has become a synonymous event regading many things, but it always has the hunters and the prey. Some hunts do escalate things, with some even having a phenomena called a Bloodmoon, something Yharnam themselves are not exempt from. The Daedric Prince of the Hunt, Hircine has done this numerous times, with werebeasts of various kinds would hunt their prey the moment of the moon's notice. Ludwig and the Hunter are aware of this, something the two share since Yharnam was already devastated by the Scourge of the Beasts, becoming one of the very first barriers the werewolves will face whenever Hircine commences the Bloodmoon Prophecy. His unexpected ally would even extend towards the Kraeken and its eldritch forms, as both hunters would join together and defend various incursions of Kraeken though while able to handle their many forms, number would become a problem later on, forcing many to join them, even if they have to side with a beast that has the potential to snap at any point.
    • And if that was not enough, the Abyss Watchers, Artorias' heralds have also been in touch, with their swords drawn the moment the beast-transformed hunter came to their temple. While history of the Healing Church Hunters and the origins of the Abyss Watchers bears some similarities including their fates, they are not buying his entrance. This has resulted in a shaky alliance but should he go berserk, the Abyss Watchers will gladly wipe him out as per Legion tradition.
    • Thankfully, not all was with a negative reception as the Royal Knights have seen Ludwig's actions and that even with his current form, his attempts were deeply heroic at best and misguided at their worst. It was all fine and dandy until he would soon learn the history of some of these knights, or in particular their genocidal attempts all in the name of Digimon kind. This has understandably made some distance between the two as he was dedicated to saving his people. Nonetheless, their sympathies are still heard.
  • Fates regarding their transformations are not new as many deities have experienced such horrors occur on them, and while few have survived their ordeal, many can agree that such ending to their lives are painful both in a physical and mental sense. What is rare is maintaining their sanity and their memories, if not for a few moments before death. Of which Ludwig is not alone in this matter as some have luckily gone through the latter, case in point: Samurai Jack. The wandering samurai sought Ludwig seeing that his transformation reminded him very much of the truth that he has a fragment of Aku within him and at one point attempted to convert him had it not for him remembering his deeds to the people. Even in his beastly form, Jack cannot help but think that Ludwig was merely helping with good intentions and that the beastly incarnation of him is the opposite of what he is. He believes he may have a chance at redemption, although a limited chance at that.
    • Then came the Puella Magi, magical girls of which are binded by a contract that if signed, gives them their powers at the eventual cost of their lives into witches. Ludwig has seen comparisons between the hunt he was placed into and the magical girl contract Kyubey has given to most of the Magi. Those who have ascended have seen the comparisons as well, even so much as to avoid his sight for such horrid reminders. The one who avoids him the most is Sayaka Miki as she is the only one among the Magi to have fully transformed into a witch overtime, giving her the worst flashbacks upon seeing the Healing Church Hunter's fate. For him, it is an unfortunate cost that he has to bear.
    • The Darkest Estate has experience with various people of beastly nature, though for the Ancestor, Ludwig is perfect for his hopes of exterminating the evil forces looming within it, such as the beastmen in the Warrens or even those who reside within the Weald. His form reminds him very deeply of a certain Abomination the Heir hires within the Stage Coach while his past rings similarity to the Crusader. As for the other inhabitants of the Estate, both the Flagellant and Highwayman do believe him to be similar to their Abomination counterpart and for the Flagellant, of which he had issues working with. Back when the Abomination and Flagellant could not work together due to certain problems, they can but with far more tension that can break the team overtime. The Flagellant's reaction to working with Ludwig is similar but with eldritch forces getting increasingly stronger, he will have to do.
  • A group of equine creatures soon swarmed Ludwig's temple, circling it for days on end and other deities noticing the increasing activity on the outside premises. When Ludwig came under warnings from surrounding neighbors, the creatures, identified as the sentient horse being Houyhnhnms, bespoke in the doorstep of his disgusting looks, seeing him as the worst creature they have witnessed, an unholy mesh between a Yahoo, their language of a disgusting human and their own physical forms, complete with disgusting lamprey-like eyes and misplaced hooves. Their disgust did not fade away despite the Healing Church Hunter's attempts at explaining his uncertain conditions, as they are convinced that Ludwig deliberately made himself similar to their biology in an attempt to mock their form. Angry at their entrance, Ludwig went into a mad trance and chased them off while also creating chaos within the vicinity. A few days later and Ludwig's sanity was regained but the chaos that ensued proved to the Houyhnhnms that Ludwig is a disgusting mockery of their kind.
  • In his desire to help his fellow Yharnamites through rallying to their cause, he arguably was the progenitor for most hunters to the rally mechanic, a function that allowed hunters to gather health once they are damaged for a few seconds, allowing many hunters to continuously fight in a faster pace. This may have done some goodwill to many hunters but some deities, in the form of the Radiance, can use said mechanic to allow Ludwig's rallying potential as a medium for her corruption. The Knight has taken wind to this and while seeing Ludwig's honest soul, cannot allow such mechanic to be taken advantanged of, especially towards the one god willing to infect Hallownest in any way possible.
  • Attempting to fix his soul may be a lost cause, as due to the unfortunate circumstances regarding the Hunter's Nightmare and anyone cursed in that realm may no longer have connections to the real world, let alone revive back in their former conditions due to what is perhaps an undisclosed time since that one certain incident. Even with advanced time travel or even the strongest of soul power, the chances of putting Ludwig back at his human shape is impossible. Such task was relegated to the Maiden in Black, who was requested under personal guidance by an unnamed samaritan to heal his soul in the hopes of gaining the original Ludwig back in action. When she took notice of his soul and history, his human remains no longer can be found, meaning all that is left is the beastly form. What does interest her is the fact that the Holy Moonlight Sword has a connection to Ludwig's mental state, suggesting that the sword may have been responsible for his sanity and by extension, his beasthood. Even his beast form, when nearly downed, saw the moonlight in his eyes, and soon his sanity was regained. The Maiden cannot articulate what type of connection it is but one thing is for certain, it is very close.
    • Said attempt of healing also came with the interest to some of the more evil-aligned deities to do the opposite, as he and a few more people are prone to corruption, also to oppose the status the Court of the Gods have placed on him. His sanity may be on the verge due to a few complicated changes, but the Witch-King of Angmar, one of the most horrific lieutenants of Sauron and most infamous of many generations of corrupters has set his sights on him and a few others including Artorias and Talion, all in the attempt to twist the image of his sanity once more and mock the Court of the Gods of their changes. Not content with giving up, Ludwig's sanity has resisted the Nazgûl's attempts for his sanity has deeper connections, a sense that even he was surprised upon discovering it. Seeing the conditions, he may be also planning to find the source of his connection to the moonlight.
  • Speaking about moonlight, it is the one element that has guided him for a long time, one that may think it may have been too much for his own good. Said moonlight is a mystery and perhaps, more cosmic than the Great Ones, in theory. His name in particular also bears the same similar theme, hence his adoration towards another Ludwig who is the musician who popularized the same theme: the Moonlight Sonata. Beethoven's thoughts on the Holy Moonlight Sword are reserved however so no one has an idea as to what he may have thought the moment his eyes were set in front of it.
    • Said theme also put interest to Kubo who much like him has intrinsic connections to the moon, not just in a weapon construct, but in a family bloodline connection. While he did eventually decline the kingdom within said theme, he has his sympathy for the Healing Church Hunter, seeing that his obsession with it may have some connections to the Moon Kingdom and their obsession of godhood. His permanent transformation also bears similar faith to his companions since his allies were humans too, much like him. What is not known is that Ludwig has so much interest in the child, believing that his connection to the moon may potentially save him from his form, a thought that should be taken with a grain of salt should the other detractor's words be true, as spoken by one Simon the Harrowed.
