Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For PokĂ©mon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the PokĂ©mon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the PokĂ©mon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a PokĂ©mon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

  • The story of the "Iron Men" begins with an average Japanese Salaryman and his girlfriend. One day, the unassuming businessman was driving home with his girlfriend until they accidentally ran over a pedestrian. This pedestrian, however, was the man known as "the Metal Fetishist" so called for his unusual fixation on metal applied to his body. The couple, unaware of this, believed the man dead, hid his body, and tried to move past their dark deed. But the Salaryman had received a curse or perhaps gift from the Fetishist. The man's body slowly began taking on the properties of metal, his mind plagued with horrific visions of a cybernetic nightmare. Eventually the Salaryman's transformation led to his girlfriend's death, and the Metal madman himself arrived to complete the transformation as part of his mad desire to share his agony with his victim. The two engaged in a brutal battle of metal and flesh, eventually combining into a monstrosity that sought to rust away the world with their newfound "love".
  • At least that's how one version of the story goes. Another account tells of a salaryman named Tomoo, who led an ordinary life with a loving wife and child, but had no memory of his past. That life was shattered when Yatsu, AKA the Metal Fetishist, targeted him for his depraved plans. Tomoo's young son was murdered, and he plunged into despair, awakening the metal-morphing powers he shared with Yatsu-actually his brother. Tomoo went on a brutal rampage against Yatsu's cult to save his wife, and soon discovered the truth of his past. The boys' father was a metal molding maniac as well, experimenting on his children to create human weapons. With this awful revelation, Tomoo succumbed to his brother's urging and evolved into a massive, tank like juggernaut. Amid the destruction however, it seems Tomoo found peace, as he apparently shifted back to human form with his wife and revived son.
    • Some time later Yatsu resurfaced, this time targeting another Cyborg named Anthony. Yatsu threatened Anthony's son to control him as a new weapon. But the super Cyborg fought the Metal Fetishist and ultimately averted suffering Tomoo's fate, and Yatsu was absorbed by Anthony's own power, gone for good...at least for now.
  • Eventually the Salaryman(Tomoo) was welcomed into the Pantheon gates. He hoped to find a nice place to settle down and put his metal nightmare behind him. Unfortunately there was a reason he was there, and the other inductee surfaced shortly after. Initially disoriented, the Metal Fetishist soon set to work seeking new metal to absorb and fuse with for power and pleasure. Tomoo was filled with terror as he realized his brother was coming for him. Yatsu seeks to expand his love of chaos and transform the Pantheon into his twisted view of beauty, and he wants to be one with Tomoo to do it.
  • Applies to Both:
    • Despite everything, neither will say they hate the other(although neither are mentally sound). The Salaryman/Tomoo on some level feels guilty for indirectly causing his enemy's transformation, as in one timeline he left Yatsu for dead and in another his murder of their parents inspired the boy with a love of devastation. The Metal Fetishist/Yatsu claims their "love" transcends mortal flesh and hopes that someday Tomoo will come to see his point of view. Nobody sane buys that though.
    • Although they outwardly appear to human, both Yatsu and Tomoo will morph into horrifying machine monsters under stress, leaving unpredictable devastation where they go. Tomoo has tried to seek help for this, leading to him joining a "support group" of sorts with similar individuals like Dr. Bruce Banner and the Lycanthrope Larry Talbot. Banner knows well the trauma of being a walking weapon, and he's shared Tomoo some techniques to tame his anger. Yatsu, meanwhile, seeks to unleash the full extent of his power and enjoys the company of like-minded monsters, especially of the mechanical variety. One such is the Android psychopath Ultron, whose desire to replace humanity with cybernetic extensions of himself earned him the Metal Fetishist's respect. By chance, one of Tomoo's circle is Dr. Hank Pym, Ultron's creator. Pym is as ashamed of his monstrous son as Tomoo is his brother. Both agree their counterparts represent the worst impulses of themselves, and that it's their responsibility to destroy them.
    • A similar duo is the psychic "Scanner" terrorist Darryl Revok and his brother Cameron Vale. Despite his lack of social skills, Vale was interested in Tomoo's condition and believes he's found another ally. Revok, on the other hand, has decided that both Metal men are too dangerous and psychotic to be controlled. He's able to effectively strike Yatsu mentally, but the maniac's biomechanical nature allows him to bounce back quickly. Revok is still planning to destroy the metal monster, and Yatsu sneers at his arrogance.
    • Neither of them are friends to the mysterious mage called "the Enchantress". Tomoo in his case considers her no better then the Metal Fetishist, as she transforms people in karmic ways while also affecting innocent bystanders. Yatsu on the other hand is annoyed by her self-righteousness, as he is quite proudly open about being a destruction loving force of evil. The Enchantress doesn't view them worth her time though, as they're already in frequent psychological and physical agony.
    • If there's one ideal they share, it's that they both loathe abusive parents, especially since in one timeline their father was a selfish monster who turned them into what they are. While Yatsu isn't much better than his dad, he still sees his father in people like Ozai and seeks to destroy everything he built. Tomoo especially has it in for men like Gendo Ikari and Shou Tucker, who used their own children for their own selfish experiments, which in the case of Ikari had truly apocalyptic results. Dr. Gero stands out as the most similar, as while he did care for his son, he still created killing machines both organic and mechanical. Further unnerving Tomoo is that Gero has expressed interest in the two, believing he may have a better chance of studying and harnessing their powers.
    • The SCP Foundation keeps a close watch on the two as they specialize in containing anomalous and especially dangerous beings and phenomena. Tomoo is willing to cooperate if it means helping control his abilities, but Yatsu has given them more trouble. Even worse, he shows a fascination with the various monsters the Foundation contains. Of particular interest is SCP 217, the Clockwork Virus. Yatsu sees it as a lifeform akin to himself and seeks to join it in reformatting the Earth. Thankfully, he's been held at bay for now.
  • Applies To Tomoo:
Freddy: Aw, you're no fun. But your friend? He seems like my kind of guy.
    • In terms of being an unassuming office guy transformed into a strange creature, Gregor Samsa can relate to Tomoo's plight. He's also as devoted to his family as his cyborg counterpart, though perhaps not to the extent Tomoo gets when you threaten his wife and son. Despite Samsa's own horrible situation, Tomoo would say Gregor's father was still better than his own, as at least he didn't intentionally mutate his children.
    • The Salaryman was relieved to meet others who had experienced and overcame similar trauma. Alex Murphy, a police officer who was resurrected as a cyborg super-cop after his murder, told Tomoo he was impressed by the lengths he went to save his family from his evil brother. Tomoo hopes someday Murphy can reunite with his own. Atom, better known as the android superhero Astro-Boy, is a fellow native of Japan and was moved to tears hearing what Tomoo and his brother went through as children. It especially resonated because of his own relationship with Dr. Tenma. Atom hopes one day Yatsu can remember his humanity the way his brother did.
  • Applies to Yatsu:
    • He's considered an insane abomination even among other world conquerors, if only that his insanity and dangerous powers make him too unpredictable. Besides Ultron, however, a few admire his monstrous ambition. Cell, the aformentioned Dr. Gero's deadliest creation, is on a journey to perfect himself and sees Yatsu's mission of spreading "the beauty of destruction" as similar. The cyborg Kaiju Gigan is generally a weapon for whoever points him somewhere, but Yatsu's technopathy lets him to communicate with the beast on more even footing, promising him new upgrades and places to destroy. Hank Henshaw, the hopelessly misanthropic Cyborg Superman, joins with Yatsu in the belief a fellow cybernetic entity can help bring an end to his tortured existence and destroy the world that spawned them. He's also caught the attention of SKYNET, who's thrilled at the prospect of creating man-machine hybrid Terminators with the Fetishist's unique powers. The evil AI assigned the shape-shifting T-1000 as a diplomat. A similarly sociopathic machine called AM(Allied Mastercomputer) has admitted it's impressed that a young human could transcend into a being that rivals itself in power and malice. Yatsu has experience as a cult leader, and preaches a new world of machines where organics are slaves and fuel, every evil automaton's dream.
    • One group that shares his beliefs is the bionically enhanced race known as the Cybermen. The Cybermen have battled to create a technological dystopia across different timelines, and Yatsu has offered to aid them in their crusade. Although he can't assume command from the Cyber Controller, Yatsu is happy to provide new hosts to the cyberization process. He's also planning to limit their emotion inhibition so his ideal cyber race can be more creative. Another race, the similarly cybernetic Borg, isn't happy with Yatsu's ambitious, wild card personality. The Collective has decided to exterminate his individuality, a feat easier said than done, and Yatsu has vowed to have the collective answer to him.
    • Ironically for someone who also hates organics, Megatron of the Decepticons has nothing but contempt for the Metal Fetishist and sees him as a plague on Cybertron in general. That he's a horrible abomination is one of the few things he and Optimus Prime can agree on. Upon learning of Cybertron and it's inhabitants, Yatsu was thrilled at the chance to assimilate a race of mechanical beings, but he's been repelled by both Autobot and Decepticon alike.
    • He's well aware that there exist monsters and beings of similar nature within the Pantheon, even if they're not necessarily mechanical. Unfortunately(at least for him), what prevents an alliance is most are too feral and uncontrollable to reason with. The amorphous alien called "The Thing" is focused on assimilating the populace and sees Yatsu as competition, while the viral Onryo Sadako doesn't need help spreading her influence. Tomie Kawakami, another shape-shifting sociopath with assimilation powers, is too petty and vain, seeing Yatsu's grandiose vision as an annoyance. However, he's found it a bit easier to exploit the parasites called Face-Huggers. The cyborg believes he can use them to engineer bio-mechanical Xenomorphs, something nobody wants to see implemented. Even worse, he's recently caught the interest of the alien "Qu" who also seek to "evolve" humanity to their warped designs. Yatsu is more than happy to serve as a consultant.
    • Because of his metal-manipulating abilities, any descent person with this power deems him a disgusting monstrosity. Even mutant revolutionary Magneto, who generally dislikes humanity, believes Yatsu is a rabid dog who needs to be put down, much to the latter's disappointment, as he thinks Magneto could've been a great partner. Toph Bei Fong, hailing from a world where people can manipulate elements, has stated he's an insult to Benders everywhere. None of this really bothers the Metal Fetishist, as he thinks sooner or later, they'll all be absorbed into his glorious metal and succumb to his twisted vision.
    • While many Pantheon inhabitants are familiar with the trauma transformation can bring, one boy in particular was appalled to learn of this man's ascension. Tim Barnett, a boy who underwent a slow, traumatic metamorphosis into an apple tree, sees what the Metal Fetishist did to his brother as worse than his own ordeal. Even if Tomoo was guilty of a graver crime than stealing an apple, Tim has decided to help any way he can against the biometal sociopath. Yatsu strangely pities the child somewhat, because to him becoming plant matter is far inferior to the beauty of metal.
    • Unsurprisingly, most heroes and villains who don't believe in organic subjugation are also very much opposed to the cyborg's insanity. Pamela Isley is the inverse of Yatsu, a former human mutant with godlike power over plants, but even she recognizes that he's a worse monster than her. Gorilla Grodd is a megalomaniacal beast but he still has the sense to see the Metal monster as a threat to all apekind. Even Metallo, another homicidal machine man, is horrified by Yatsu, as he still has enough attachment to his human side. He also detests Hank Henshaw, so the Metal Fetishist allying with the nihilistic cyber-being is more than good a reason. Cyborg/Victor Stone is a man who grapples with his human and robotic halves and was disgusted at how the biomechanical man could discard his humanity with such ease. Yatsu attempted to corrupt his cybernetics, but Victor retaliated with a special anti virus he designed. Cyborg's fury at Yatsu for his sick violations nearly blindsided him, but he was able to disrupt the corruption and made it clear he wouldn't hold back so much next time.
Cyborg: You want to be metal so badly? Try to get in my head again, and I'll show you what it's like to be scrap iron.
    • He's found a startling number in common with the psionically powered Japanese criminal Tetsuo Shima. Both were shy children given deadly powers by experiments(at least in one timeline for Yatsu), both have a heated rivalry with another young man they were very close to, and both eventually metamorphosed into monstrous abominations that tried to assimilate the world. Tetsuo on his part is happy to find a kindred spirit and together the two plan to become gods of this cruel world. It's the exact opposite with one Kevin Levin, however, as he sees Yatsu as the kind of person he could've been(and has become at times) if he didn't have caring friends: a sociopathic monster in every sense who absorbs and destroys whatever he touches. He's afraid to even absorb metal from Yatsu and has advised his friend Ben to never let the Omnitrix take any "DNA" from the creature.

Here's the Neptune and New New Amsterdam York draft with a little bit added. Any Futurama fans here with something to say?

Neptune, Divine Gas Giant Treated Like It Has A Solid Surface

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/neptune_76.png
Neptune as it appears in the setting of Futurama
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/neptune_voyager2_color_calibrated_3.png
True color image of the planet Neptune as taken by Voyager 2 during its flyby of the planet in 1989...aka what it actually looks like
  • Hall: Astronomical Bodies (House of Dominions Expansion)
  • Description
    • In Futurama: A bluish planet with an Arctic tundra and solid ground, harsh but livable
    • In real life: A bluish "ice giant" (gas giant with a large icy interior) with storms raging up to twice the speed of soundnote
  • Symbol: Robot Santa's hat over a trident
  • Alignment: True Neutral for most of the planet; Lawful Evil for its polar region
  • Portfolio: Strolling on Jupiter, Home To Robot Santa's Workshop And The Neptunians, Grim Up North IN SPACE!!
  • Domains: Tundras, Santa Claus, Neptunian aliens, Astronomical Bodies, Yetis
  • Sacred to: Robot Santa Claus, Michiru Kaioh/Sailor Neptune
  • Unholy to: Anyone Robot Santa declares naughty (so almost everyone here and almost everyone else) (explicit to the Arctic region)
  • Barred entry: The Iris, Majin Buu
  • The eighth planet in the Sol System is Neptune, discovered by Earthlings in the 1840s. Who exactly discovered it is debated, and beforehand it was predicted due to how the orbit of Uranusnote  behaved. A cool, bluish planet, it is home to the Neptunians, four-armed humanoids with piggish noses and being famed for their cooking. In the 29th century Robot Santa Claus was made and moved to its North Pole, where he set up his Death Fortress and a toy shop that is basically never used since virtually everyone is branded naughty. It has a primarily arctic environment, but since what's been seen on the surface is the polar region that might just be that area. It has a number of moons, the biggest of which is Triton. Triton has its own fauna, and both bodies are home to yetis.
  • The ascension of Neptune was somewhat unique amongst its fellow Sol System planets, in that rather than being the "real" version of the planet that acts as a Composite Character, it was explicitly the version from Futurama. And there's a good reason why; Neptune in general didn't really have enough to get a place in the Dominions Expansion, and Futurama's Neptune had something specific going for it; Strolling on Jupiter. In real life, Neptune is what's known as an ice giant and thus has no solid surface. Its also far colder, with a "surface" temperature under -200 degrees Celsius. Its stormy winds can reach over 2000 km/h and the only remotely Earth-like thing about it is the gravity (just a bit more). There's been no evidence Futurama's Neptune was ever terraformed, and Farnsworth thinks that it's simply because "people of the Stupid Ages didn't have enough info". That said, a portal occasionally shows up in this Neptune's orbit that lets people see other, more accurate Neptunes in the multiverse.
  • The fact it has a solid surface and is habitable is something that Wonder Woman remembers, way back in the day, when she dealt with some invaders from there and eventually helped overthrow their dictator. She's not the only person who recalls a gas giant being a lot less gassy, and not just (a) Neptune. John Carter has visited Jupiter in the unfinished book Skeleton Men of Jupiter which had forests and water, and is inhabited by two sentient races. Porky Pig and Sylvester were once abducted by aliens from Jupiter and ended up on the body no worse for wear, and Timmy Turner once made a wish for every day to be Christmas, and naturally ended up on Robot Santa's Naughty List while he was dealing with his mess. Oddly, he also recalls his Fairy Godbrother, Poof, claiming that it was Jupiter with the solid surface, not Neptune. Never mind that if they were solid planets, they'd have a lot more mass and consequentially more severe gravity. This all said, one mortal actually proposed a solid concept for how the real Neptune could be colonized. It still wouldn't fit the experiences of these deities, mind you.
  • Significantly increased habitability asides, Futurama's Neptune is not a popular place to visit. The reason for this is down to Robot Santa Claus, who rules as a tyrant over the Neptunians in the Arctic. They look like Christmas Elves yes, but that is more down to them being malnourished because Robot Santa doesn't feed them enough. Unless it's X-Mas he almost never leaves, and if anyone finds themselves in his territory should prepare for some murder and merry mayhem. His Death Fortress was raided by the original, organic Santa and Nicholas St North in order to depose his rule, but the collateral damage was becoming too much. Instead, an agreement was made; Robot Santa would not unduly try to kill, main, or injure visitors to the Neptunian polar region and double the portions of his "elves", in exchange for having their promise they will protect his planet from interlopers. Robot Santa reluctantly agreed to this...however he is still conniving in stretching the "unduly" part to his favor without breaking the agreement.
  • Winterbolt and SCP-4666 aspire to conquer Neptune for themselves...well, mainly Winterbolt. The Yule Man was content with his morbid actions in Earth's Arctic regions and went alongside the former's plan more to try something fresh with the Neptunians, and decided to start by taking over the relatively obscure Neptunian South Pole. Even Robot Santa was shocked to see the results of a Weissnacht, though that might just be because he doesn't list his planet's residents into the naughty/nice lists. In order to test the other Santa would live up to their agreement, he called them up to deal with his problem before they started spreading across the rest of the planet, while he watched with a bunch of X-Mas cookies in hand. To those outside his purview, Robot Santa has pushed the Neptunian politicians to make more weapons to protect their homeworld. After all, doing so helps Robot Santa's weapons factories and protects his planet.
  • The planet is named after the Roman god Neptune, aka Poseidon. He had initially considered claiming the planet, mainly in the name of flexing his ego, but with how inhospitable the actual Neptune was he didn't feel like it. However Futurama's Neptune is something he could try to claim since it does have liquid water, if often covered by ice...it's still not something he's all too interested in. Since his programming doesn't account for gods on the naughty or nice spectrum (possibly relating to his friendship with the Chanukah Zombie) Robot Santa isn't gonna do anything in response but he is watching him in case Poseidon pulls something. With the original Neptune absent, Sailor Neptune doesn't have as much authority or connection over Futurama's, but she's still considered a guardian of the planet. It's for this reason she's one of the very few people on Robot Santa's nice list.
  • Outside of the Neptunian Arctic, the Neptunians are a strong and relatively tall species who are well-known for their cooking. One of the best chefs on Earth is a Neptunian called Elzar. A staple of their dishes is the Neptunian space slug, more specifically the greenish-yellow one. Don't try the purple one though, since they cause diarrhea. Sometimes they can be domesticated. As a defensive maneuver, they can inflate themselves to a large size, and like Earth slug they shrivel up with salt. So long as you don't use too much salt they make a nice staple food, so mortal residents have been selling these space slugs to the House of Food. Star Wars deities have noticed they seem to be based off the Gormaanda. Neptunians are a common immigrant on Earth and they usually make their living in the service sector. There's a place called Little Neptune in New New York if you want a microcosm of their culture.
  • Many have wanted to Take Over the World. Some have wanted to take over the moon, or Mars. But conquering Neptune? It's practically never heard. Even Robot Santa is only ruler of the Arctic region of Neptune. Aphoom-Zhah did, however. Way back when Neptune was known as Yaksh it had visited and it wishes to take Neptune for itself, claiming it to be its right. Never mind this was a different Neptune. Despite being a Great Old One, it is still seen as less of a threat to the planet than the Iris is. The Iris had at some point mutated its Neptune into something unrecognizable. When it plans to invades the Solar System of the 31st century, this Neptune is expected to be its first target. If anything could unite all the Neptunians and those who immigrated there, it would be in opposition to this Eldritch Abomination. Majin Buu has a different mindset on what to do with Neptune; blow it up! Then again, that's his usual go to answer, but while he is also barred from getting anywhere near Neptune, the Iris is just as much a target for Buu's Planet Burst, which the people of Neptune are quite relieved to see keeps the Iris far away from them. The Collector considered using it as one of his celestial pinballs but after realizing there's life on it chose not to.

New New York, Divine Seat Of Reborn Cities With The "New" Title

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/new_new_york_cityscape.jpg
A sample of the city
  • Hall: Administrative Centers (House of Dominions Expansion)
  • Description: A stylized almost retro-future mega city in the state of (New?) New York
  • Symbol: The same as Old New York, just with "New New" instead of "New" in the symbol
  • Theme Song: The video game OST
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Big Applesauce and the Big Rotten Apple In the Future, New Neo City, After the End 1000 Years From Now, Balancing Idealism and Cynicism, Under City of the Old New York, We Will Have Euthanasia in the Future
  • Domains: Cities, The Future, Cultural and Cross-Species Melting Pots, Rebuilt Areas, Undercities, Spacious Sewers, Sitcoms, Sci-Fi Comedy
  • Sacred to: Hubert J Farnsworth, Carol/Mom, Philip J Fry, Turanga Leela, Bender Beding Rodriguez, Hermes Conrad, Nibbler, Dr John Zoidberg
  • On speaking terms with: Mutant deities (formerly officially barred entry from)
  • Banned entry: William Stryker, Emperor Belos
  • Banes: Robot Santa Claus, the Brainspawn
  • Similar locations: Tokyo-3, New Hong Kong, New Chicago, New Earthnote
  • One of Earth's most iconic cities, New York City had been settled in 1624 and for centuries it would serve as one of the US' most important cities. That was, at least in one reality, a bunch of UFOs invaded the city in 2308 and tore practically everything down except for the Applied Cryogenics Lab, the bank of one Philip J Fry and probably the Statue of Liberty. A medieval society (or at least something with the Middle Age aesthetic) was built in its place...then another group of UFOs tore that down some centuries later. Over the ruins of Old New York, New New York was built, thought to be some time between 2500 and 2800. In spirit it has that melting pot, Big Applesauce feel but with a seedy underbelly...only now in Zeerust flavor! The sewers, and thus the sewer mutants can be found living amongst the ruins of Old New York. That said, Applied Cryogenics didn't really notice.
  • Regarded by some as a Crapsack World, but this is debatable as there are many positives. It has been described by the writers of Futurama to not be a utopia or dystopia, but like real life except more futuristic. As far as Fry is concerned, it's basically a cooler version of his old city though that might just be because he fits into the 31st century better than he did the late 20th. The Simpson family spent some time there and they found it a fine enough city, though admittedly they didn't get to spend much time there. Homer will proudly boast of all the ways New New York is better than Old New York, though again he's biased. For most pantheonic residents of Old New York like Peter Parker, the biggest difficulty is adjusting to the new technology and curious sci-fi conventions. He finds its easy, but that's mainly down to how being a superhero in a comic book means he's dealt with crazier stuff on a semi-regular basis.
  • Much like Old New York, New New York is a melting pot of different cultures. Given the setting, there's a bunch of robots and aliens walking around living their lives, treated no different than the human residents. There are some exoticnote  meat markets for the taste of many an extraterrestrial from the Trope Pantheon that wants to have meeting, and yes that even includes human meat. That said, the Hall of Flesh Eaters have been advised other humans getting the meat is still seen as taboo. Though the societal issues of the original New York persist, many within the House of Extraterrestrials and Otherness find it an accepting and interesting place to visit if they're looking for a nice, big city. However, staying there still has the problem of most only being able to afford apartments.
  • As mentioned it is quite welcoming to aliens, along with robots. Mind you, hostile aliens and robots are obviously going to be exempt, but of course its not like the Daleks are just gonna casually visit instead of screaming "EX-TER-MIN-ATE!" and trying to level the city to the group. Oddly, this didn't stop one Dalek scout from their early history getting lost in the city, with the Dalek Empire noting it's weird that this happened again in a "York". The T-800 has noted that doing missions for SKYNET would be easier than in regular New York because nobody would care if his robotic endoskeleton gets exposed. On another note, the controversy of euthanasia has been solved by the 30th century...with suicide booths 25 cents a pop. Kent Brockman and J.Jonah Jameson had a field day making news about it and that's all we're going to say about the matter.
  • New New York has had a history of bigotry towards mutants, who were only allowed on the surface in 3010. It (well, Earth as a whole) has also found Robosexual marriage a controversial thing, having the idea that Robosexuals Are Creeps for a while...however it was legalized in 3010 as well. Mayor Poopenmeyer has tried to monetize this increased tolerance by giving a free tour of the city for Kipo, Kosmo and Nova, and while they recognize what's going on they appreciate the free tour as is. These legalizations have led Reverend Stryker and Emperor Belos to decry the city as "New New Sodom" with future New Jersey as "New New Gomorrah", and the former believes that they shouldn't have just kept the mutants to the sewers...they should've "cleaned" those sewers. Poopenmeyer agreed with the New Jersey statement but has otherwise declared both a Persona Non Grata to the city.
  • There are a variety of places to visit New New York. The House of Travel has warned people that the roads aren't exactly designed for non-flying cars, though they can still be used...you might get complaints about being some throwback from "the stupid ages" by an ornery civilian, though. The Bablyon Rogues note that their hover boards are seen as somewhat mundane by the people of the 31st century. Also, you should probably get used to tube travel as a means of transport. Some notable locations of New New York include:
    • Various "Little X" neighborhoods in the same vein as Little Italy or Chinatown. There's Little Bitaly, a robot town, and Little Neptune, a seedy neighborhood of Neptunian immigrants. There's a dodgy organ dealer, but usually the only kind of people he tricks are guys like Fry.
    • MomCorp, the headquarters of perhaps the most influential Earthican business of the 30th and 31st century. Even if her evil nature isn't exactly a secret in the Trope Pantheon, her products still sell like hotcakes herenote  and the House of Commerce usually has their eyes on it. More so than the Planet Express HQ, much to Farnsworth's chagrin.
    • The Head Museum, home to many heads in a jar of historical figures and celebrities from time past. Sometimes they have two of the same head like Grover Cleveland, leading to rumors of cloning. George Washington has visited the Head Museum, admitting to the feeling of seeing his own head in a jar to be surreal talking to him. That said, it at least wasn't a Serpent... Sometimes you can also find Eric Cartman, Apu Nahasapeemapetilon and Amy Pond...the Doctor is trying to figure out how that last one is a thing.
  • The Doctor theorizes the area might have some sort of temporal significance, getting the feeling he can almost sense a fixed point but it's one of those rare ambiguous cases. This is mainly down to one Philip J Fry, who stayed at a cryogenic lab that was miraculously untouched for over a millennium. Should the original New York manifest in the Trope Pantheon, it might see the same building appear again, only for a version of Fry to still be chilling in suspended animation with cheap beer in hand. The building is the crux of a major Stable Time Loop due to Fry's "past nastification" and chosen one role, and even though the building has served its purposes the Doctor still visits New New York sometimes (partly for some fun) and has tipped the Elite Time Police Enforcers off on the city's re-ascension as a place of notice. He's mentioned that in exploring time and space, there are at least fifteen New Yorks. The New New York he's familiar with is that 15th version of the city, found on New Earth; a planet so similar to the original Earth that after its destruction in the year 5 billion they made it a nostalgic throwback to the old Earth.
  • It's hardly the only place that's getting the "New" suffix. Sol Badguy knows the second New is redundant, but it's useful for distinguishing it from Neo New Yokr. In his world, that's the city that was built in place of Old New York after it was destroyed by worldwide technological collapse and a 100-year war. If it's not New York getting a redundant second "New", it's Tokyo. Whether New (or even New New) Tokyo is a thing in the 31st century is unknown. Shinji had grown up in "New-Tokyo 2", following the original being nuked and submerged, so he's somewhat curious about New New York. Since there was a medieval period (or at least medieval themed) between Old and New New York, he wonders it should be called New New New York instead.

[up] [tup] to both

So, Skullgirls finally released Marie's story mode, said to be the true canon path for the game, and oh momma, we got some juicy new bits of lore.

First off, the final party that took the Marie Korbel, aka the Skullgirl, was Filia and Samson, Squigly and Leviathan, and Peacock.

We got some more lore of Peacock's past, showing her as Patricia in the makeshift orphanage as The Fatalist since her home was caught in the war, with Marie being Wise Beyond Their Years, and the headmaster of the orphanage, Hilgard, encouraging the two to spend time together for Peacock and Marie to learn how to loosen up their stances, leading to them being best friends. The man who took Peacock's eyes out in her story mode was one of the slave traders who tried to kidnap the orphans in Marie's story mode, with Peacock leading the slave traders away so Marie could go get help.

Peacock's parasite, Avery, is smart with math enough to be capable of cutting through time and space, or as Peacock calls it, the Ginormous Cosmic Timeosphere, and did it to send the Skullheart across time and space with the help of Leviathan. However, it instead exploded and a crystal lodged itself into Marie's heart, letting her still live as long as it wasn't shattered.

While Peacock can still fight without Avery, she isn't able to teleport right back to New Meridian after the Ginormous Cosmic Timeosphere was tampered with. She also isn't smart enough to use it without killing herself or everyone around her. Said tampering was also implied to be a member of the Trinity (probably Double or Aeon, the goddess of time in the Skullgirl universe).

Even after being able to live with just a crystal in her heart, Marie could still feel the Skullheart's influence, and planned on killing herself as soon as Peacock was back in New Meridian to spare the world of the Skullgirl. Peacock however doesn't take any of that, from constantly encouraging her she is worthy of staying alive and that wanting to live isn't selfish, to fighting Marie to prove a point that Marie still wants to live deep down by not thinking to let Peacock shatter the crystal. In the end, thanks to Peacock constantly never giving up on Marie and Marie never giving up on herself thanks to Peacock and her wish to protect her friends and be the last Skullgirl, they were able to break the cycle.

Marie ended the Skullheart's cycle by fighting her boss self from infecting her mind, and taking the strength and will of her past and the lives of all the others the Skullheart has claimed back from them, even though the Goddesses of the world claimed there will always be a Skullgirl.

After finally breaking free of the Skull Heart's influence, Marie received a Redemption Demotion at the cost of becoming her old self. Even still, the skeleton minions still serve her since they like her. Except for Joe, but he hates Marie's enemies more.

Peacock and Marie are now together and free of the threat of the Skullheart, now ready to keep the world safe and stop the plans of Double and the Goddesses.

Brain Drain and Valentine are now working on a new Skull Heart called the Chrome Heart.

[up][up] I've got nothing to provide for you, so here's a [tup].

On another note, have you considered the idea of posting a profile with only a small number of paragraphs established? I think one of the problems you face when it comes to getting approvals is that your first draft tends to be already filled with 10-12+ paragraphs and you have an established list of relations for your character. That, and not being too clear about what you want for suggestions makes it look like you already have enough and the other users are unsure of what you give to you regarding suggestions.

Also, I recommend spacing out your posting times to give other users a chance in posting their own drafts when they're asking for paragraph/interaction ideas and/or approvals. I'm saying this because I've witnessed that you have a bad habit of overshadowing other users' profiles, including my drafts of Dutch and Micah. Now, I know you don't mean to antagonize or annoy others, but I'd let you know just in case you need to be more careful about your actions here as well as being more considerate about other users whenever they want to post their own content here.

@Kingvideogames — I'm not sure if you actually got approval to have Luigi set up as a Guardian Representative for Characterization as usually, I tend to make that position a separate voting thing in addition to the profile itself. Just wanted to get that off my chest.

That, and I was thinking about a Rep overhaul for that particular House, but didn't have enough time to consider what theme(s) to go with, in addition to feeling like replacing Muzet and maybe Carl Jung. But then again, I'm too caught up on other things, both in the Pantheon and elsewhere, to express too much concern over that.

Also wanted to announce that Depravity now has all of its deities moved to new Halls see here for where I've placed them. That said, I would hold off from deleting that page for now as I think we would need to get a couple of wicks cleaned up before demolition happens.

Also, can I move Wyald to Villainous Attitude as stupidity doesn't have anything related to, well, Cruelty and Sadism. On a similar note, Hatsune Miku seems misplaced as her trope, Virtual Celebrity, isn't really about music, so I was wondering which House and Hall would she work best in (maybe Popularity and perhaps either Fanbase or Types of Popularity).

[up] Hamana has placed some of their profiles in Guardian positions before with no prior announcement and no one complained, so I guess there isn't a rule for that kind of stuff.

Agree with moving Wyald to Villainous Attitude and Hatsune Miku to Types of Popularity. [tup]

[down] Removing my [tup] since I've noticed that you still have an incomplete flavor text in one of your profiles.

@RJ: Rose Tyler also visited the 15th New York on New Earth, so she could visit Futurama's New New York as well. Also, shouldn't the Doctor be in the visitors list?

I just need to fill in Franky's placeholder and come up with a Rex-specific interaction, and this'll be done. I'm also considering adding an interaction with the Porygons; who was reworking them again?

Rex, Mike, and Bert, Holy Trinity of Adaptational Late Appearances (Small Railway Engines, the Smallies)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rex_mike_and_bert.png
From left to right: Rex, Mike, and Bert

  • Hall of Character Adaptations
  • Demigods
  • Theme Song: Never Overlook a Little Engine
  • Alignment: All Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Chromatic Arrangement, Vitriolic Best Buds, hate being belittled, sing a Pep-Talk Song with a Disney Acid Sequence, their backstory is never mentioned in the show
  • Domains: Trains, smallness, metafiction
  • Heralds: Mr. Fergus Duncan (their boss); Frank, Jock, and the other unadapted engines on their railway
  • Allies: The Steam Team (especially Thomas), the Pteranodon family (especially Tiny)
  • Enemies: P. T. Boomer
  • Complicated relationships: The Skarloeys, Franky
  • Of interest to: Bendy
  • In the 1960s, Sir Topham Hatt II discovered that the trackbeds of the abandoned Mid-Sodor Railway were shockingly weed-free because they used spoils from the lead mines as ballast. The controllers of Sodor's various railways teamed up to create the miniature-gauge Arlesdale Railway to transport ballast from the mines, and purchased three engines from England whose railway had closed down. By sheer cosmic coincidence, they look very similar to ones on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. Several engines have mistaken them for magical beings. The Arlesdale Railway also transports wool and passengers, and in its first year of operation, a pair of clergymen visited. One of them was the Reverend Wilbert Awdry, wrote about the Arlesdale Railway in his series of books about Sodor.
    • Rex, who's green, is the de facto leader. He's the most level-headed and usually introduces the group to other engines. However, he's not above teasing the others, especially Mike. He can also be overconfident, such as when he boasted that transporting wool would be easy, only to crash into a pile of wool bales and derail. Fortunately, it didn't damage him too much, and the incident taught them that they need to work together.
    • Mike used to be green like Rex, but now he's as red as his temper. He's always complaining about minor inconveniences, such as livestock on the line. He's very proud of his whistle and hates being belittled the most. Unlike most engines on Sodor, he prefers goods to passengers.
    • Bert is blue and the oldest of the three... but not the wisest. When he heard that the visiting clergymen take moving pictures and write books, he thought he was going to be turned into a moving picture in a book. He's petty and has a vengeful streak; when the clergymen accidentally splashed him with mud, Bert got revenge by splashing one of them with rainwater. He forgave them after they cleaned him up, though, and much later, he helped them find Duke, an engine from the Mid-Sodor Railway who'd been buried in a landslide.
  • When The Railway Series was adapted into Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends, the creators were contractually obliged to only create episodes that were adaptations of the books at first, but Adaptation Drift kicked in during season 3. After Wilbert Awdry died in 1997, they decided to ditch the source material for good, leaving the Arlesdale trio unadapted. That was, until 2015, when they made a surprise appearance in the special Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure. Three chapters of their debut book, Small Railway Engines, were subsequently adapted into episodes in season 20.
  • The trio were happy to learn that Thomas the Tank Engine was in the Pantheon after they ascended. They'd previously helped him stop a pirate, and he introduced them to the rest of the Steam Team. Their meeting with the Pantheon's other engines was... a little more complicated. Peter Sam was happy to learn about what became of his old home, while Sir Handel was just glad to finally meet engines he could look down upon. Bert, meanwhile, was annoyed to learn that Skarloey was the engine the rescuers took to find Duke in Thomas & Friends instead of him. Skarloey had no idea what he was talking about. There's one thing all engines can agree on, though: they hate P.T. Boomer. When threatened Rex, Mike, and Bert, they dumped a truckload of ballast on him.
  • The trio have met some of the Pantheon's most... interesting Rail Enthusiasts. The Pteranodon children were ecstatic, as always, to meet more engines in the Pantheon, especially Tiny. Mike was insulted when she gushed about how small they were, until Mrs. Pteranodon explained it was a compliment. Tiny is friends with all sorts of small creatures, and likes to cheer about their "tiny power". Mike still finds her annoying, but the other two find her endearing. Bendy is also a big fan of trains, but they find his perpetual grin and demonic forms off-putting.
  • [Franky]
  • Exclusive to Mike:
    • Mike hates Dawn Bellweather. Not because of her plan to turn prey against predators, but because he thinks sheep are stupid and do nothing but get in the way. He hates cattle even more, such as Otis and Miltank, because they remind him of an embarrassing incident where he lost his whistle while trying to scare a cow off his line.
    • Mike has a surprising amount in common with Edward Elric. They're both as short as their tempers — but don't say that to their faces! — and wear red, a strong, masculine colour that gets the blood pumping. Once upon a time, Ed would've found it weird that he related so much to a talking train, but after years of being in the Pantheon, "normal" loses all its meaning. It helps that they're both from the quiet countryside.
  • Exclusive to Bert:
    • After his meeting with Skarloey, Bert became very confused. He simultaneously remembered being the engine who took the rescuers to Duke, and having no idea who Duke was. Wilbert Awdry based The Railway Series on real events on Sodor, and later it was adapted into Thomas & Friends, right? Yet he appears in Thomas & Friends as an author who writes books based on THOSE versions of events. And above all this is the "real world", where trains don't talk and there's an Isle of Walney instead of Sodor. This was all too much for Bert's non-existent brain to handle, so he spent all night in his shed pondering his existence. He eventually sought advice from another god who went through a similar experience: Lenna. When she ascended, she gained memories of three different timelines, and she'd previously spoken to her creator, Tom, over the phone. Her advice? "Don't worry about it," which wasn't very helpful.

@Crimson Shark, I see, didn't realize that was a voted office here. My mistake. That being said, I did suggest placing Luigi there first here and I got some approvals for it without anyone saying Luigi should be in Character Changes instead. If it is a problem for the others, I will be open to moving Luigi to Character Changes instead.

[up] I think it would be better to just rework her profile at this point since her story mode has her going through a character arc and has several different allies and enemies swapping places, and of course, Peacock is promoted to best friend material for her.

"WILSON!"

"Sorry, but you're in my story now."

@RJ-19-CLOVIS-93 - Futurama's Neptune
  • Maybe expand about the native Yetis (that reside in Neptune and its moon Triton) and how you can contract Yetiism, which turns you into a Yeti. Ithaqua, who is called The Yeti, might find this planet similar to his regular cold dwellings.
  • You can also make other bullet text describing its moons (in particular Triton, which was already been terraformed by humans).

@NitroIndigo - Rex, Mike, and Bert

  • I was thinking since Rex usually brings presents to children (and that one year he delivered fake snow with a fan to make it look like its snowing) in Christmastime, something about visiting or delivering presents or snow in the Hall of Xmas and Yule
  • To help with the Franky interaction, maybe you should extend that to the rest of the Straw Hats. Because of their interactions with Sailor John, they are often weary of the evil pirates in the Hall Piracy and other evil pirates outside of that hall. Their meetings with the Straw Hats was an exception tho as they seem to be good and kindhearted people.

@DoodSlayer136 - Pilgor The Goat

  • While not Wide-Open Sandbox, Ralph comes from a game where he destroys a building and Fix-It Felix Jr. needs to save the building in turn.
  • Other Goats: Gabby Goat
  • The Rabbids are a group of troublemakers from a video game (who is already allies with the Goat). Doge, Cheems and Walter are also allies due to their zanny nature.
  • People who have encountered goats: Heidi (who has taken care of goats), Dipper and Mabel (who had a goat named Gompers living with them during their summer vacation), Ferdinand (who has a friend goat)
    • The Chupacabra, The Goat Sucker, facing off with Pilgor, but the winner is not what you expect.

[down] Yeah, I think so.

@Tomoo and Yatsu: Much like Yatsu, Yubel once sought to fuse themselves with Judai Yuki along with all of existence as a show of insane love, tough unlike him, they regained their sanity when Judai willingly merged with them. They might thus see him with some pity.

  • In ancient times, after the sinking of Atlantis but much before the coming of proper history, there was an Age undreamed for full of exotic lands and fantastical sights. Hither came Conan, a native of a cold hostile land named Cimmeria who set out to explore the larger world. While the tribesman was seen as a barbarian by many, his upbringing had granted him the abilities of a warrior superior to most and a wild yet honest mindset that helped him with dealing with civilizations. He would go on many adventures, becoming a sellsword, a thief, a pirate,a brigand leader and a monster slayer amongst others, until he became a king by his own hand by overthrowing the corrupt ruler of Aquilonia. Though the thrill-loving adventurer found the duties of a monarch to be more taxing than he had expected, he still became a good king for his new land and subjects. He had further adventures, and many other than his creator have tried to continue his stories, none can confidently say the absolute truth about what happened to him thereafter. That is at least until the appearance of a strange portal disturbed his kingdom. Investigating himself, the Aquilonian King investigated it himself, allowing him to step into a strange land: the Pantheon, where he was informed that he'd been chosed to represent heroic barbarians. Though rather dubious about the offer at first, Conan nonetheless took it, adding Conan the God to his many titles.
  • He is rather bemused about his new title as 'god', especially since Crom, the main god of his people's religion, is a god that actively spurns worship and smite those who try to call to him. As such, he does not particularly care about being prayed to either, though neither does he mind any of his worshippers going to him for advice, even allowing them to quote 'the hell with you' from one of his more famous incarnation, because it amuse him. In fact, he has a joke claimed that he would give his title to any of them who can defeat him, just to give them some motivation. Even if this was how Pantheon godhood worked, nobody has managed to meet that challenge yet, though it hasn't stopped any subsequent Barbarian Hero from ascending. One such fighter was Sonya of the Nephalem, who challenged him to a brawl for the hell of it. Though she lost, she did manage to impress him a lot, and it didn't hurt that she reminded him of an old friend.
    • Said old friend would eventually arrive in the Pantheon: none other than the warrior woman Red Sonja. Naturally, Conan was very much happy to see her again, and the two often fight together like old times when circumstances allow it. He does still have obvious attraction towards her, but she isn't any more interested than before, and so they are Just Friends. Though he was suprised to learn that it wasn't her first time meeting with people of other times and worlds either, leading him to meet with both Tarzan and John Carter of Mars. As they are also larger-than-life men dedicated to the care of their respective 'kingdoms' of the jungle and Mars through action (not to mention a general tendency to walk around without anything covering their chests), the three of them also have became fast allies.
    • Other such barbarians are Barbara and Elysia, twin princesses from the Glade of Dreams, who look at the experienced barbarian royal with starstruck admiration, the more scarred anthropomorphic Aardvark known as Cerebus, as well as Korgoth, a barbarian very similar to him in his younger days, if even more violent and antisocial. As their predecessor of sorts, he tend to see them as his responsability much as the citizens of Aquilonia are, and so strive to help with their problems, even if Cerebus' are... strange.
    • At first, the dwarf warrior known as Gilius Thunderhead came to Conan as if an old friend, before realizing that he had mistaken the barbarian for his similar-looking companion known as Ax Battler. Interested by his tales of heroisms against the tyrant involving the two friends and an amazon named Tyris Flare, the Cimmerian decided to help the dwarf have the two ascend with the later. And after they managed to convince the Court to do so, he made it known that he would gladly fight alongside them all.
  • Conan's temple serves as an extension of his castle in Aquilonia, so that he can spare time for his roles both as a king and as a God. While he first lead a rebellion against the corrupt ruler Numedides and took the throne for his own gains, he had come to learn that the duties of a monarch were heavy and more grueling than taking the crown was. Still, he does his best to be a good monarch for his people and better his land, for he sees them as his responsibility to take care of. (Relationships with other good Usurpers and those who struggle with rulership) Another warrior who usurped his throne from a wicked king only to find its responsibilities appaling was Robert Baratheon, but while Conan remains as mighty and impressive as ever, he let himself sink into hedonism and degradation until his death from a mere hunting accident. While the Cimmerian does not approve of Robert neglecting his duties to his people that let the realm fall into chaos after his demise, he does have sympathy for the former king of Westeros' fall, and took it as a sobering warning to not let himself falter.
  • Hearing of another man from a so-called primitive tribe that went on to become a monarch, tough clearly one of lesser scope than a literal god emperor, Sigmar has approached Conan to observe his character. Greatly approving of his care towards his kingdom and citizen, the Emperor of Man approached him for an alliance as well as possibly mentoring him in rulership. Tough unwilling to be treated as a pup to teach, Conan likewise still see a more than worthy ruler in Sigmar, and so the two have formed a fast friendship.
  • His herald is none other than his queen Zenobia, former slave girl of the King of Nemedia who rescued him from an enemy conspiracy because she had fallen at first sight for him. While the two are very much Happily Married, he still possess a Royal Harem and he's very much as open to brief trysts as he was in his youth. The values of the Hyborian Age are... odd like that, tough he is fairly chivalrous by its standards, and one of the best ways to spurs him to heroism is an innocent woman in trouble.
  • Some have theorized that he might be a past life of the God Emperor of Mankind due to their similar appearance back when the Emperor was active. He does not approve of such talk, for he look down on the so-called ruler of mankind as a decrepit old man who has formed an oppresive regime around itself through deception and arrogance, not worthy of any sort of worship. He bluntly said that no matter the lives he may have, he would never want such an existence where he could not fight with his people himself.
  • One time, the fates would have him entangle with a woman just as mighty as he is and as skilled... 'Wonder Woman''. It turned out Diana had ended up in the past and without her memory when he met her. For him, he was drawn to her since he believed her to be Yanna, his childhood crush from a nearby tribe of warrior women. As they ventured together, this turned out to be a case of mistaken idendity, but this did leave a fondness for the other, to the point she left him one of her bracelets and the golden lasso as a parting gift when she left. She would meet a man hinted to be his reincarnation in the modern day, but the two were still more than happy to meet each other again in the Pantheon.
  • One of Conan's incarnations exist in the ancient past of the Marvel Universe, and he one day found himself thrust into present day when he helped a time-stranded Wanda Maximoff thwart the plans of the Greek Goddess Nyx. While he shared a mutual attraction with the Scarlet Witch, she remained loyal to her current lover, though they were still glad to see each other again. Nox, as the goddess of the night is more commonly known, is not too pleased with him and has regarded him as a great obstacle should she ever attempts her scheme to cover the universe in darkness.
    • During his stay there, he worked with many anti-heroic figures of the Marvel Universe in a very loose team known as the 'Savage Avengers'. While they're not a formal group in any way, most of their ascended members readily fight alongside him should they need to face dire threats together. Those comrades even included villains such as Doctor Doom, Krang the Conqueror and Juggernaut! While those more antagonistic figures' plans in the Pantheon sometime threaten his kingdom, needing Conan to face them in battle, there is still a great mutual respect between them.
    • Suffice it to say that not all his meetings there went so well. One day, he worked with the Rhino to rob a bank, only to be confronted by Spider-Man. The encounter ended with Conan mocking the superhero's Comes Great Responsibility philosophy, exposing his underwear by ripping his suit, and successfully getting away. While Conan's role as a king meant he doesn't commit such banditry anymore, Spidey is till very understandably sour about this event. Especially since he swears he saw the Cimmerian chuckle under his breath when reminded about it.
  • Due to his long experiences of fighting with wicked sorcerers, Conan has a general distrust of magic and those who use it, tough it's not an unsurmountable prejudice, as he has managed to make friends with less nefarious wizards like Doctor Strange. This does not lessen his opposition towards wicked sorcerers, especially those themed around snakes, for he had many running with worshippers of the wicked serpent god known as Set, including one version where one such cult leader killed his family. A prime example of such a foe is Voldemort, whose arrogance and cruelty is very typical of the many enemies he slayed before. And of course, the leader of the Death Eaters does not appreciate a simple, 'dumb' muggle interfering in his plans.
    • He went on to meet the actual divinity within the Pantheon, or at least in one of its incarnation: Apophis. Quite naturally, the snake wasn't pleased by the barbarian's interference with his worshipper's spread of his influence, and so now seek to destroy him. But that name conflation did NOT please the Egyptian God also known as Set, who has dedicated himself to punish Conan for confusing him with his hated enemy. For his part, the barbarian does not care much about the differences to his world's version, for they're all as wretched as each other to him. Another evil divinity he has faced before is Shuma-Gorath, but the tentacled monstrosity is content to ignore Conan for now, as despite the difficulties the Cimmerian gave him before, he and the other Savage Avengers did unwittingly helped free the entity from the control of the sorcerer Kulan Gath. The sentiment isn't exactly recoprical considering Shuma is still a monster bent on domination and wanton destruction of the world.
    • Hearing of his many prestigious slayings of wicked wizards, the magic hunter known as Anti-Mage tried to recruit Conan in his cause to eradicate all magic, but he found himself rebuffed by the barbarian-turned-king. For tough he disliked sorcery, he was not one to wish to dedicate his life to wipe it out, and he had in fact worked with mages in the past for common causes. Tough Anti-Mage was disapointed by the refusal, he still highly respects the Cimmerian.

[up] They're still open.

[up][up] Conan would see most of the Hall of Otherness Abominations as enemies. With the exception of Kthanid and Desco. Also just about anyone in the Cthulhu Mythos would be an enemy. He'd probably have some concerns with Vampirella. On one hand, she's Vampirella. On the other, she's still a Vampire. That's also the relationship she has with Red Sonja too actually. Though they tend to become Fire-Forged Friends. He should also be "On bad terms with" Ben Reilly. Ben intercepted him on a heist, Conan won the fight, but lamented that he wished that they could have had a fair fight over the one they got insteadnote . Not sure about Kaine, but he'd probably either not care, or laugh for once in life.

Asking again to split the Hall of Soldier Archetypes in alphabetical order to fix the "Too Long Warning". As for Tactics and Strategies, I propose moving the Black Spy and White Spy's I Know You Know I Know to Planning. I also propose a new hall in the House of Craft, a Hall of Traps. Normally I'd prefer to have some more tropes before making a Hall for it, but "Home Alone" Antics isn't really related to anything military like, and neither Trap Master or Trap Is the Only Option sound like it belongs in Crafting Materials.
