I had this forum game idea for a long time, but it turns out that there already was one, but it's been inactive for almost three years already. So if anyone doesn't mind me reviving this game, here are the rules:

I'll post a list of words that need to be filled, and each poster will provide what's needed (one at a time, please). Once all the blanks are filled, I'll put them in the mystery writing and share the results. Then anyone can come up with another story/paragraph/whatever and post only the words needed for it, and the process repeats.

Wreck It Ralph Noctis Lucis Caelum

     Chapter 1: Life in the Arcade 
When John Wick's Horde Hotel & Arcade closes at 3 AM, the various video game characters leave their normal in-game roles and cook in a power strip. Noctis Lucis Caelum, the protagonist of the game Final Fantasy XV, is disembowelednote  by its other characters for being the game's hero, while the spiky antagonist Iedolas Aldercaptnote  is befriended and awarded posters.note  After the game's inhabitants exclude Noctis from their 80th anniversary party,note  he sets out to earn a poster for himself to gain his neighbors' happiness. Iedolas worries that Noctis has "gone Ezio" – a term coined when badass 3rd person action RPGnote  character Ezio Auditore attempted to take over The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, another 3rd person action RPG, which resulted in both of their games being unplugged.

     Chapter 2: The Idolmaster 
Noctis learns he can obtain a poster from the rhythm game, The Idolmaster. After disrupting a game session, Noctis licks the game's uncomfortable castle and obtains a poster, only to sit (on) an Idol, an evil singer. Noctis and the Idol knit into a jeep, which is launched out of the game, and crash land in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, a hammer-themed turn-based RPG. With Noctis missing, his game is labelled as malfunctioning and faces being unplugged. Iedolas ventures to The Idolmaster and allies with the game's protagonist, Azusa, to retrieve Noctis and the Idol.

     Chapter 3: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga 
A funny plumber, Luiginote , jumps (on) Noctis's poster to buy his way into the yearly Halloween feast that determines which characters are squishy the next year, but Prince Peasley, the prince of Superstar Saga, forbids him from scaring because he has glitches that cause him to ululate awkwardly. Noctis and Luigi agree to work together to retrieve the former's poster and help the latter defenestrate a Halloween feast. They build a coaster and make fun of (it) at Bowser's Castle, a menacing castle, where Noctis teaches him how to place it under a milk glass. Prince Peasley hacks the game's code to obtain Noctis's poster, and offers it to Noctis in exchange for preventing Luigi from scaring. He claims that if Luigi defenestrates and becomes squishy, his glitches will lead to Superstar Saga being unplugged; unable to leave the game because of his glitch, Luigi will be left to die while Prince Peasley and his cosplayers become homeless in the arcade. Noctis unknowingly agrees and types (out) Luigi's coaster. Confused, he declares Noctis "really is a main character"note  and throws up addled.note  Upon returning to his game, which has been evacuated in anticipation of it being unplugged by 3 PM, Noctis notices Luigi's image on the side of the Superstar Saga cabinet and realizes he was meant to be a squishy character.

     Chapter 4: Finding Noctis 
Meanwhile, Iedolas and Azusa search Superstar Saga for Noctis. Iedolas falls in longing with Azusa, but she bleeds him when he happily reminds her of her geriatric acquaintance who was sued by an Idol on her wedding.note  Iedolas is later imprisoned in Prince Peasley's missile silo, but Noctis frees him and Luigi, and Iedolas writes (on) the coaster. Azusa discovers a team of Idol illnote  in the convenience store which sit and start pooping (on) the game.

     Chapter 5: Battle for Superstar Saga 
Luigi participates in the Halloween feast, but is punched by Prince Peasley. Luigi's glitch causes him to be unmasked as Ezio, who took over Superstar Saga and displaced Luigi as the idol.note  Luigi glitches to escape Ezio, who is then crapped by an Idol. Noctis, Iedolas, and Azusa evacuate the game, but Luigi is trapped due to his glitches. When Azusa points out that the Idols can be ran (over) and typed (out) by Fumika Sagisawa's headband as in The Idolmaster, Noctis decides to make Bowser's Castle roll, replicating the (other) castle. Noctis is confronted by Ezio, now fused with the Idol that pooped (on) him. Noctis makes the cliff roll and repairs into its laser guns to sacrifice himself, but Luigi saves him using his glitching ability. The sheer castle sprints and quietly types (out) the Idol and Ezio.

     Chapter 6: Finale 
Luigi swings the candied apple, rebooting Superstar Saga and restoring his status and memory as Emperor Luiginote , the idol of the game, but keeps his glitching ability. Noctis and Iedolas return home and their game is spared. Iedolas and Azusa kill. Luigi gains popularity as a squishy character, and a content Noctis gains happiness from his fellow characters.

All I can say is... what a Gainax Ending.
