Trope Pantheons Discussion

Go To

Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

[up] Two things.

  1. I want to say no but I'm not familiar with the series so don't quote me on that.
  2. Was this not a conversation the forum had a while back? Was it not the point of it being reworked? Again, it was a while ago.

Since I'm on First, I'd like to rework yet another profile if you would all as to be so kind as to gander.

Rajang, God of Lightning Bruisers

  • Reasoning: Apart of the much more difficult line of monsters in the series with it's infamy starting from it's appearance in the Second Generation. Rajang, to keep it short, is a large minotaur-bull-gorilla with electrical abilities that hits hard, hits fast, and can take what it dishes out. Especially when it gets angry as the hairs on its body turn a golden yellow.

Apokolips and New Genesis, Divine Worlds Of Villainous Dystopias And Heroic Utopias (together: The Fourth World)

  • Votes: 3(Master Hero, The Wikia Editor, Crimson Shark)
  • Date of ascension: 14 November(repost 11 November)
  • House: Planets (House of Dominions)
  • Description: A hellish ecumenopolis (Apokolips) and heavenly arcadia with a floating city of Supertown (New Genesis), both existing in a higher dimension
  • Symbol: Darkseid's Omega Symbol (Apokolips), The New God symbol for freedom (New Genesis). Both use a Boom Tube or Mother Box as a general symbol
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil and Chaotic Good respectively
  • Portfolio: Villainous Badland, Heroic Arcadia, Enforced Cold War (it didn't last), Dwells In The Sphere Of The Gods, After the End Of A Ragnarok (as a whole), Always Lawful Evil Dystopia, Polluted Wasteland and City Planet (Apokolips), Utopian Arcadia of Crystal Spires and Togas, Always Chaotic Good (New Genesis)
  • Domains: Divinity, Duality, Conflict (Both), Dystopia, Tyranny, Industrialization (Apokolips), Utopia, Freedom, Arcadia (New Genesis)
  • Ruled by: Darkseid (Apokolips), Highfather (New Genesis)
  • Sacred to
  • There came a time when the Old Gods died! A climatic battle erupted between these gods, the noble and brave died with the brutal and cunning. Their world was destroyed, but eventually life emerged again. The molten remains split into two, bringing forth the dystopian Apokolips and utopian New Genesis. Evil and good, forever locked in conflict. This is the Fourth World, home to the New Gods.
  • In general
    • The two worlds are a sort of archetype of evil and good. As such the inhabitants morally reflect this, though even the harsh world of Apokolips can produce good souls(Orion) or free themselves through The Power of Love (Big Barda). But if there's something both sides can agree on, it's the merits of Bold Inflation and Purple Prose. The Grand United Alliance of Evil and Grand United Alliance of Good had a lot of vested interest in these worlds. Both sides would also like to know how Metron, a New God who claims to be from neither worlds, fits into things.
    • Apokolips and New Genesis exist in a higher plane known as the Sphere of the Gods, along with other divine beings. There's only one true version in the multiverse, described by Batman as coming from a sort of "archetypal, platonic world". While the gods(Darkseid at the least) have a Fighting a Shadow situation, this has led many people to wonder just how to explain the various contradictory depictions, retcons despite it also being mentioned these worlds are beyond normal space-time. Or how mortals visiting it works. The House of Knowledge is trying to resolve this, with Jack Kirby aiding them.
    • Requires a Boom Tube to go to and from, though some beings like Libra managed without. It's advised not to, as the true size of the New Gods and their home worlds are so massive that the Earth would barely displace a small lake-the Boom Tubes also scale mortals/the New Gods to be relatively equal in size. The House of Time And Space is working on making their own Boom Tubes and transportation devices separate from New God control.
    • A pact was made, exchanging sons for an Enforced Cold War. Everyone knows it's temporary, and it's prophesied Orion will kill Darkseid in a climatic war that sees the end of the Fourth World. Despite some attempts, Executive Meddling and the status quo prevents a permanent end. Darkseid is currently forming his own alliance, the Harbingers of Repression, for many reasons, but one of them is to ensure next time the end of the Fourth World comes he has an absolute advantage. And Highfather has encouraged further interaction with the pantheon, primarily the GUAG, for New Genesis to balance the scales in their favor. If anything, this'll make the next "final battle" even more apocalyptic.
  • Specific to Apokolips
    • Apokolips' most notable feature is its ever-burning fire pits. Its citizens are basically slaves to Darkseid, treated terribly yet so conditioned they worship him like some sort of Stockholm Syndrome. That said, they're often portrayed as a vicious lot and Darkseid is able to keep some sort of order. The GUAG has tried to take down Darkseid or at least try to better the citizen's spirit, but the fact it can't be changed from being a Crapsack World is an eternal thorn in the side of good. Nowadays they focus on making sure Darkseid doesn't try to turn the rest of creation into a new Apokolips.
    • Despite being the evil half of the Fourth World, Apokolips has cut all ties to Melkor and the GUAE. Darkseid doesn't play second fiddle, and Melkor reminds Darkseid of the one being he fears; his father and even worse God of Evil, Yuga Khan. YHVH hopes to usurp Darkseid's authority and take control of Apokolips, as it's firmly on the Law side of things, all in His eternal ambition to eliminate The Evils of Free Will and assert Himself as the one god.
    • Santa Claus has somehow managed to get his hand on a Mother Box or bypass the dimensional barriers, since he always manages to give Darkseid his yearly coal-a fact that infuriates him to no end. Further infuriating Darkseid and Apokolips as a whole is Rick Sanchez, who's skill at dimensional portals led him to take making his own Boom Tube as a challenge. After he accomplished that he mocked their technology and left a bunch of dick picks. He did that with New Genesis, but they didn't make a "torture and/or kill on sight" towards Rick.
  • Specific to New Genesis
    • A veritable paradise covered in lush forests and greenlands. To prevent nature being disrupted, the only urban center is the massive floating city of Supertown. This is something that those in the Nature Preservers respect.
    • Hexxus would love to change that, though he hasn't had any success so far. Unlike Melkor and Apokolips, Cosmos and the GUAG are totally welcome on New Genesis. Highfather has pledged support to them over the other alliances.
    • Lucifer has asked to form a potential alliance of convenience, given Apokolips' tyranny is a bane to the Grand United Alliance of Chaos and their goals. Highfather wanted to reject him outright as New Genesis does not approve of the GUAC's methods, however admits Lucifer would help against Darkseid. Lucifer was quick to point out that he has made some morally dubious actions such as trading his son for Darkseid's in The Pact, and one of his allies is Zeus. While he had a point, New Genesis has made it clear it's a non-aggression pact and will go against Lucifer the moment he goes out of line to stop the likes of Darkseid or YHVH.

  • Enemies: Most DC Comics super-villains (Lex Luthor, Regime Superman and the Joker are at the top of the list), Plutonian, Louis Bloom, Diana Christensen
  • Jimmy Olsen is the son of a military man who disappeared during a mission, so he was raised mostly by his mother. After she died he inherited a large fortune, but chose to give it away to good causes. A Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer who works at the Daily Planet, his close friendships with his colleagues, Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Perry White. He is most well-known for his friendship with the Man of Steel, who he met when Jimmy created a special signal watch that emits a high-frequency sound that only his super-hearing can hear, which Superman let him keep to use as a method of alerting him when his life is in danger.
  • A major Weirdness Magnet, which went into overdrive during the crack-tasting Silver Age of comics. Of course a dedicated newspaper reporter like Jimmy will try to be part of the action. One of the only gods in the pantheon who's experience with weirdness might surpass his are park rangers Mordecai and Rigby, and Regular Show might as well be called "Weirdness Magnet; The Show". They had a good laugh exchanging stories on all the crazy events that have happened to them.
  • The weirdness associated with Jimmy Olsen is the fact that he has gotten and lost all sorts of superpowers. Mainly expressed by weird transformations like a big head. If Jimmy is forced to choose his favorite, he usually picks the giant turtle boy due to its power and iconic status. The House of Power is trying to figure out some pattern to it so they can predict and thus properly utilize the powers he gets.
  • Assuming it's even counted, Countdown to Final Crisis had him getting back various weird superpowers because of the number of dead New Gods' souls who inhabited him, as part of Darkseid's plan...or something. Nobody likes talking about it. Linkara bemoaned the gaudiness of Jimmy's Mr Action costume and told him to get a better costume if he's going to be a proper superhero, advice Jimmy has taken.
  • The Grand United Alliance of Good is hoping to help him control whatever random powers he gets. To do so, Jimmy has visited Ben Tennyson because how he has managed to get used to the variety of different alien powers the Omnitrix has bestowed on him. Along with Deku he has also been training under All-Might, who reminds Jimmy a lot of Superman.
  • A magnet for Superdickery, though there's usually a good reason for it. OK, sometimes it doesn't. Being in the presence of Bob and George's own Weirdness Magnet and "corrupting influence" on making characters act surlier resulted in Superdickery and weirdness only surpassed by the crackiest Silver Age stories. Jimmy found he likes George as he's usually a nice guy, and often finds himself frustrated by the weirdness. Especially time travel.
  • Jimmy's a nice kid, though a number of DC super-villains have tried to take a swipe at him or those he cares about. Mainly he's concerned about Lex Luthor, given Luthor's where he lives already. However he's been quick to oppose the Joker since the Regime universe saw him as the first casualty in the Joker's plan to break Superman. While Regime Superman was happy to see some version of his old friend back, Jimmy was horrified and saddened to learn what a tyrant that Superman became.
  • While there is some pity Jimmy has to Regime Superman, there is nothing but total disgust and contempt towards the Plutonian. He's an utter bastardization of anything a Superman Substitute should be, not helped by how his original heroism was motivated by a desire for attention and glory than genuine selflessness. Metro Man, however, was a Superman Substitute Jimmy liked. He's a bit of a Smug Super, but has matured.
  • On the flip side Jimmy was disturbed to learn about his equivalent in Metroville, the entitled stalker and eventual supervillain Hal Stewart. Jimmy hopes to never meet him. He already has his fill of evil journalists and crooks associated with the law like Louis Bloom and Diana Christensen. Thankfully Peter Parker exists as superhero reporter, due to his job at the Daily Bugle. The two became good friends, and Jimmy can sympathize with his "Parker luck".
  • Jimmy is friends with Luigi as he tries to help Mario as much Jimmy tries to help Superman. He's not all that surprised by the many weird power-ups that have showed up in the Mario Kingdom, finding them not to different from the powers he gains and loses in a regular basis. He's also friends with Ron Weasley, another red-haired sidekick to a famous hero.

Is there anything else to add?

Chester Alfred Bum, God of the Homeless (Chester A. Bum, Poor E. Broke)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/320px-bum_5571.jpg
  • "I was a Lesser God once! It tasted like butter."
  • Symbol: A Styrofoam change cup
  • Theme Song: "Minuetto"
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Shouting, Having strange things happen to him that he brings up out of the blue, Alcohol and drugs, Thinking everything is the greatest thing he has ever seen in his life
  • Domains: Poverty, Alcohol, Drugs, Spare Change
  • Followers: Lester B. Bum, Spencer D. Bum, Pester, and the Cinema Bum
  • Allies: The Nostalgia Critic, Agent 47 (sort of), Bruce Wayne/Batman, The Avengers, Kevin Mccallister, Mary Poppins, Adrian Monk
  • Opposed by: C. Montgomery Burns, Patrick Bateman, Alex Delarge, Jake Sully, Miles Quaritch, Neytiri, Charles Kane, Light Yagami all South Park deities
  • Pities: Wreck-It-Ralph
  • Respects: V
  • Respected by: Namor the Sub-Mariner
  • Odd Friendship: Lisa and Ally, Ebenezer Scrooge
  • Conflicting Opinion: Stephen Colbert
  • "OH MY GOD, THIS IS THE GREATEST PANTHEON I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!"
  • The three Managers of Commerce may rule over their domain in the House of Commerce, but far below their skyscrapers lay a destitute man who nevertheless holds a crucial role in the house for many in the Pantheon. The self-proclaimed bum of the homeless has laid domain over those suffering under poverty ever since the Pantheon was first created. Many of the well-off in the Pantheon may scoff at the man for leading a bunch of ;'moochers' and 'welfere queens', but anyone who has suffered from a lack of money are sure to seek Chester A. Bum for guidance, whether it's to get out of poverty or live through it.
  • Chester can often be found sitting just outside the House of Commerce, living in a box and loudly demanding change of all passersby. Mr. Burns has grown tired of Chester's presence and would love nothing more than to evict him. Captain America and the rest of the House of Justice are also frequently at odds with Chester for his frequent possession of controlled substances, but Chester is often able to evade them.
  • For a time, people thought that Mr. Burns had finally succeeded in getting rid of the man. He convinced the other managers to require all deities in the House of Commerce to own a building up to code with housing guidelines. This was actually a thinly-disguised way to evict the bum from the area entirely. With no house to call a home, Chester walked up and left the Pantheon. It was Nostalgic Critic who walked over to Leslie Knope to inform her what happened. When an attempt to overturn the law failed, she turned to the deities themselves to help build a house for Chester A. Bum. Mr. Burns hired several hazards their way. But the sheer mass of heroes, poverty-stricken deities and even rich patrons such as Richie Rich and Charlotte LeBouff was enough to overcome the challenges to build a brand new temple. Sure enough, Chester appeared with tears in his eyes for all those who built his temple. Of course, he hardly uses the temple himself, but lends it to his followers as well as those who need a place to stay at night.
  • He and the Nostalgia Critic are long time friends. However, after an ill-fated search for the Necronomicon and a legal confrontation over the Critic's Transformers reviews, their relationship seems to be getting strained.
    • Recently, Chester and the Critic have begun to repair their relationship, with the Critic taking Chester in as a sort of secretary and intern as well as giving him a paycheck.
  • Besides Mr. Burns, he is also a favorite target of Alex Delarge, a boy who has an infamous disdain for the poor. The God of Soundtrack Dissonance and his drooges gleefully seek him out for the chance of beating Chester to a pulp.
  • A beating pales in comparison to what Patrick Bateman promised he would do to the Bum if he ever gets his hands on him. The Pretentious One firmly puts the blame on Chester's poverty to themselves and believes ridding the poor himself would do the city a favor. The fact that Chester managed to return only intensified his search. Chester himself wasn't to thrilled at Bateman for stabbing a homeless man in his film.
  • Has been the subject of multiple attempts of his life by Light Yagami. As someone who wants to Kill the Poor in order to improve society in his eyes, he has tried to find his true name. Yet thanks to the dubious nature of his origins, the Death Note does not work of Chester A. Bum. Instead, the Light has turn to targeting his followers, condemning them to gruesome deaths at his hands.
  • Is still unsure whether Stephen Colbert is an act or he truly wonders why poverty hasn't been illegal yet. For now, Chester keeps at body's length from the God of Truthiness. Rooting for the 'overdogs' over at the House of Commerce certainly doesn't help.
  • The many attempts on his life have been thwarted by the efforts of the enigma V. Much like his ability to outlast his own death, so too does he make sure that the poor will never be without a patron to watch over them. With that said, he won't try to defend his atrocious film.
  • Unlike the Nostalgia Critic, Chester has the chance to tackle movies that are actually genuinely good. He gave props to Batman and the Avengers for doing a wonderful job in their respective movies. Regardless, he refrains from making comparisons over which comic has the better movies, merely hoping to support the ones that are great.
  • Likewise, he felt a connection with Wreck-It-Ralph, citing how the two of them can descend to self-loathing at times. Certain parts of the movie even brought him to tears. As such, he makes time to visit Ralph when he can.
  • His review of Fifty Shades of Grey surprised many people, showing his proficiency for BDSM. Chester later confirmed that he does a little hooker work on the side and doesn't care which gender pays him for the job. He was later confronted by newer deities Lisa and Ally, the Goddesses of BDSM. They wanted to invite him to their lair in order to teach them some new techniques. After a brief conversation, the two allowed him to use one of their dungeons free of charge for services.
  • Namor spent a significant part of his life as an amnesiac homeless man. Johnny Storm may have helped restore his memories, but Chester has claimed to play a part in keeping the man alive for as long as he had. As such, Chester is one of the few humans he actually respects.
  • When Kevin McCallister was was stuck in New York City, he received help from an old homeless bird lady. It turns out that Chester rewarded an act of kindness towards the woman by saving him from his pursuers.
  • Speaking of bird ladies, he enjoyed the song Mary Poppins created in honor of the very women who feeds birds, a significant part of his followers. It's also a surefire way to annoy bankers just as Michael did when he was young.
  • Chester makes sure to send a cup of gravy every week to Adrian Monk as a token of thanks for solving the murder case of one of his own. Of course, Monk takes care to do his best to decontaminate the content every time. The detective is at least thankful that Chester doesn't seek to meet him face-to-face.
  • It was no surprise that the bum loved A Christmas Carol. After all, the story converted one of the biggest opponents of the pool into a man who is far more generous with his money. That and he genuinely thought it was a good story (even if it didn't have Scrooge Mc Duck). Scrooge invites Chester to his house in order to give him a warm place to star every Christmas Eve.
  • Of course, not everyone has taken a liking of his reviews, especially those whom he gave a less favorable review to:
    • The emerging Avatar deities did not like how he used a familiar criticism of their movie as being unoriginal. In the wake of their long-awaited sequel, the three have shunned him from checking any new information on that movie.
    • Charles Kane was enraged when he discovered that Chester bashed his film. It's not a complete surprise given the massive wealth gap between the two, but the bum genuinely does not believe for a second that Kane ever cared for the poor. He cites to the businessman's poor relationship with his own peers and his self-destructive behavior to prove his point. It's suspected that Kane played a role in Chester A. Bum's absence and Charles has not denied that claim.
    • Star Trek fans in general don't like him for advocating the stereotype that Nerds Are Virgins. The debate is still in the air over the bum's claim that the recent Star Trek movies were about trying to move towards more action sequences.
  • Every single deity in the South Park universe have a strict 'o homeless' policy. After an outbreak of the homeless convinced the citizens to burn down their own town, they aren't taking any chances with any of the poor in the Pantheon.
  • "HOORAY!"

Aside from Harrington (Badly Battered Babysitter), Diablos and Monoblus (Bullfight Boss), I have a few Soul Series characters in my mind. I'll tell them soon enough.

First Draft of the second Witch King/Phoenix King (Yes, really). Any thoughts and suggestions are most welcome.

Also, I think the Pantheon disregards Age of Sigmar. Not that it bothers me.

New drafts for Yumina and Natsumi.
Yumina Ernea Belfast, Goddess of Girlfriends That Help Score More Girlfriends
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yumina_ernea_belfast.png
  • Possible/New House: Love Interests
  • Ascending on:
  • [tup]s: (Nightelf 37)
  • Lesser Goddess (Greater Goddess with Brunnhild)
  • Theme Song: "Another World"
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Domain: Love, Nobility, Polyamory
  • Symbols: Nine engagement rings.
  • Portfolio: Love at First Sight, Harem Seeker, The Ojou, Living Lie Detector, Detect Evil, Jealous of Big Breasts, Guile Heroine, the Girlfriend that Controls the Other Girlfriends in Touya's Harem,
  • Followers: The Bride Conference (the eight other wives of Touya Mochizuki)
  • Allies: Touya Mochizuki (her husband), Lisesharte Atismata, Princess Zelda, Tohka Yatogami, Origami Tobiichi, Kotori Itsuka, Belldandy, Kyu Sugardust
  • Enemies: The House of Tainted Love, especially Bellatrix Lestrange and Raynare, Lord Voldemort, Sir Isaac Ray Pelham Westcott
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: the Occult Research Club
  • Opposes: the Dursleys
  • Annoyed with: Ichika Orimura, Natsuru Senou
  • Conflicting Opinion: Princess Cadance
  • Yumina Ernea Belfast is the heir apparent to the throne of Belfast and one of the wives of the hero Touya Mochizuki. While she wasn't the first girl to join Touya's harem, she did formalize the idea of making a harem for Touya, which was made easier by her parents' approval and polyamory was legal in Belfast. Since then, Yumina has served as the leader of the Bride Conference, helping solve any problems faced by Touya's harem. Recognizing her achievements, the Court of the Gods cleared Yumina to ascend.
  • As soon as Yumina settled into her new temple, she became friends with Tohka Yatogami, who is just as devoted to Shido Itsuka as Yumina is devoted to Touya; not to mention she reminds Yumina of her friend and fellow wife Yae Kokonoe. Tohka introduced Yumina to her fellow Spirits Origami, who also shared Yumina's dream of becoming a bride, and Kotori, who can relate to Yumina's duties to the Bride Conference. As comamnder of Ratatoskr, Kotori often helps Shido with his dates with the Spirits, so she also assists Yumina whenever she is able.
  • Often goes to the House of Royalty to study under Princess Zelda of Hyrule. Yumina has impressed Zelda with her wisdom at an early age, her magical talent and her skill with a bow. Under Zelda's mentorship, Yumina has also become friends with Lisesharte Atismata, who also wants to become a worthy queen to her people. Yumina and Lisha have also bonded over the fact that well, their bodies haven't developed that much.
  • Became close friends with Belldandy, who reminds her of Olga Strand. Surprised that Belldandy was already a goddess when she ascended, Yumina asked Belldandy how she is old, she always says 17 years old. note  Belldandy has become something of a Cool Big Sis to Yumina and does everything she can to help her in anything regarding the Bride Conference.
  • Yumina thinks twice about going to the House of Tainted Love, especially after hearing that one of its inhabitants, the fallen angel Raynare, has a voice similar to hers. She was horrified upon learning that not only did she never love Issei Hyodo, she even killed him just to obtain power. She isn't all too fond of Bellatrix Lestrange either, for being an unrepentant psychopath who faithfully serves the internationally feared dark wizard Voldemort. As much as she loves Touya, she is aware of his flaws and isn't afraid to scold him whenever he screws up. She hates Raynare and Bellatrix with a passion and has promised never to become like them.
    • Despite her hatred for Raynare, she doesn't look forward to working with the Gremory household. While she respects their skills and talents, especially Rias Gremory for her leadership, she is weirded out by their weird sexual fetishes. Upon learning Issei has the power to destroy people's clothes, Yumina was absolutely shocked and forbade Issei to ever get near her. She had a bad experience with slimes that tore apart her clothes back when she was exploring a dungeon and she doesn't want a repeat of that.
    • Her hatred for Voldemort was intensified upon learning that not only does Voldemort hate the idea of love, he even broke his soul into seven pieces just to secure immortality. Thanks to Kotori and Ratatoskr, Yumina also became aware of the threat Isaac Westcott poses. The fact that Westcott is also allies with Voldemort doesn't endear him to Yumina, either. On a lesser note, she doesn't really like the Dursley family not only for abusing Harry Potter, but because they hate magic and polyamory. She was planning to bombard their temple with magical arrows but Harry talked her out of it.
  • Princess Cadance, who has trouble lending support to harems, has gone on record saying that she disapproves of Yumina's work in the Bride Conference. She doesn't personally hate Yumina, it's just that harems are complicated and she is a staunch defender of monogamy. Yumina has replied that even with the harem aspect in full effect, she loves Touya, not to mention that polyamory is legal in Belfast, so she doesn't see what's the big deal. For now, they both agreed to disagree. On the other hand, Kyu Sugardust wholeheartedly supports Yumina and often lends her support in upholding the Bride Conference. The three goddess are willing to work together when fighting the deities from the House of Tainted Love, though.
    • She listened to Cadence and Kyu's discussions about Ichika Orimura and Natsuru Senou and went on to investigation to see what the fuss was all about. Needless to say, she was not pleased with Ichika and Natsuru's stupidity and incomprehensiveness to love and has done everything in her power to make sure to Touya doesn't become as stupid as they are. That said, she does feel a bit of sympathy towards the former for having to endure terrorist attacks on a regular basis and the latter for being brainwashed by the girl he loves.

Natsumi, Goddess of Empathic Shapeshifting (Witch)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/natsumi_3_9803.jpg
Click here to see her true form
  • Possible/New House: Shapeshifters
  • Ascending on:
  • Lesser Goddess (Intermediate Goddess with Haniel)
  • Theme Song: "Bipolar Emotion"
  • Portfolio: Flying Broomstick, Uses an Idealized Female Form, Attractive Adult, Cute Child, Can Turn People Into Children, Master of Disguise, Still Beautiful in Her True Form
  • Alignment: True Neutral with Good tendencies
  • Domain: Shapeshifting, Love, Playfulness, Sarcasm, Self-loathing
  • Allies: Shido Itsuka, Tohka Yatogami, Origami Tobiichi, Kotori Itsuka, Yoshino, Miku Izayoi, Mana Takamiya, Mayuri, Dark Magician Girl, Hermione Granger, Minerva McGonagall, Nine the Phantom, Betty Suarez, Billy Batson/Shazam
  • Enemies: Sir Isaac Ray Pelham Westcott, Lord Voldemort, the Evil Queen, Mother Gothel, Mystique, Envy
  • Natsumi was just a young girl who wanted to be accepted and praised by others, but she was always ignored and rejected. Upon becoming a Spirit, she finally got the chance to fulfill her dream and used her powers to attain a become a beautiful woman. When she met Shido Itsuka, she thought she had discovered her true form and attempted to ruin her life. Fortunately, Shido saved Natsumi when she was in danger and she allowed him to seal her powers, wanting to be accepted by people as her real self.
  • Natsumi's adult form is actually a response to how she perceives the world after several visits on Earth in the past. Shido persuades her to grow out of it and stay true to herself, although she's not above using it to tease others or when she is forced into a battle.
  • Shido and the other Spirits welcomed Natsumi into the Pantheon with open arms. Natsumi deeply appreciates the Spirits' friendship, as they were the ones who accepted her as her real self and taught her that True Beauty Is on the Inside. Natsumi feels really attached to Kotori Itsuka and Yoshino for sharing the same age as her.
  • Natsumi's magic allows her to transform objects into whatever she desires. She can turn dangerous explosives into comical items and transform a person's body in order to remove injuries, although she admits this is just temporary and the person would still need medical aid. Both Hermione Granger and Minerva McGonagall find this power fascinating and think it must be an exotic form of Transfiguration.
  • Intimidated by the beauty of the Dark Magician Girl, to the point she mostly uses her adult form to talk to her. Fortunately, the Dark Magician Girl has been nothing but supportive for Natsumi in her attempts to become accepted in her true form. Natsumi also became friends with Betty Suarez, who had to endure countless insults in her work at a fashion magazine. She even offered to use her powers to enhance Betty's attractiveness, but Betty declined, because she never felt any need to change any part of herself. She loved herself, exactly as she was.
  • Supports Nine the Phantom on her path to redemption. At least Nine did what she did because she wanted to protect her sister, Natsumi attempted to ruin Shido's life just to secure her own loneliness. Nine, on her part, understands where Natsumi is coming from and urges her not to do the same mistakes she did.
  • Enemies with Isaac Westcott, as it was under his orders that Ellen Mira Mathers tried to kill her. Not too fond of Voldemort, either, as he says Natsumi's powers as a key to regaining his beautiful looks. He may hate looking like his Muggle father, but he does admit that obtaining Natsumi's powers could be useful in gathering more followers. She also tries to put as much distance from the Evil Queen as she is able, seeing the Evil Queen as the person she would have become had Shido not saved her. She also hates Mother Gothel for stealing Rapunzel from her parents and keeping her Locked inside a tower, bringing her bad memories of the time she kidnapped Shido's friends.
  • Became friends with Shazam, since he too had the ability to turn into an adult. On a darker note, she has drawn unwanted attention from Mystique, who thought she could turn Natsumi to the dark side by preying on her insecurities and self-loathing. Fortunately, Natsumi was not fooled and told the evil mutant to stay away from her, lest she will turn Mystique into an inanimate object. Since then, Mystique had laid low but hasn't given up on corrupting Natsumi. Envy also hates Natsumi for being a human with the same powers as him, but without any of the drawbacks.

As always, suggestions are welcome.

Added more to the Perfect Trumpet Thingy rework. Any suggestions?

The Perfect Trumpet Thingy, God of Jump Scares (Eustace's Trumpet, the Blue Creature, the Blue Demon)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Nightmare_Valley.jpg
  • Demigod... maybe. Could be higher, though we really don't wanna find out.
  • Symbol: Do you really wanna know?
  • Alignment: True Neutral... as far as we know.
  • Portfolio: Giant Space Flea from Nowhere, Nightmare Dreams, The Grotesque, Fetus Terrible, Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant, One-Scene Wonder
  • Domains: Spooks, Imperfection
  • Allies: None. Everyone is imperfect to it.
  • Rivals: The Fazbear Gang (one-sided on their end)
  • Opposes(?)/Opposed by: Weiss Schnee, Mitsuzane Kureshima, Sayaka Miki, Madoka Kaname, Vergil Sparda, the House of Pride, Deus, Cell, Princess Luna, The New Kid
  • Feared by: Courage the Cowardly Dog
  • Annoyed by: King Dedede, Bill Cipher
  • Observed by: Peppermint Butler
  • One night, the entire Pantheon was filled with loud panicked screams seemingly out of nowhere; the loudest one coming from (of course) Courage. Apparently, multiple deities reported having their dreams getting invaded by a terrifying blue creature. While a few initially believed Osmosis Jones was the cause, once one deity described it saying "You're not perfect", the cause of these scares became abundantly clear: The Perfect Trumpet Thingy has ascended into the Pantheon.
  • Not much is known about its origins, its intentions, or even what exactly it's supposed to be, other than that it's apparently meant to resemble Eustace's broken trumpet and that Courage encountered this monstrosity briefly in a dream. Why on earth it resembles a fetus is anyone's guess.
  • Every investigation as to what its nature is has turned up dry. Not even the Dream Walkers of the Pantheon were able to gather any sort of answer. Then again, most people would rather not find out...
  • Despite how terrifying it looks, the Perfect Trumpet Thingy seems relatively harmless. It never does anything outside of appearing in the dreams of Gods who think highly of themselves, or at the very least, those who try to obtain perfection, to jumpscare them.
    • That being said, much of the House of Pride are dead set on killing the thing. Unfortunately for them, the Perfect Trumpet Thingy doesn't have a temple and only seems to exist in the dreams of others'.
  • Figures who've done things they now regret, such as Mitsuzane and Sayaka, especially don't like it, as it serves as a reminder of their past sins.
  • Being one of the few beings able to communicate with the Perfect Trumpet Thingy, Princess Luna attempted to convince it to stop giving people nightmares. Unfortunately, her efforts were fruitless, with it only responding with "You're not perfect" again and again until she was forced to leave. Given her insecurities about her past as Nightmare Moon, it'd be an understatement to say that the experience did a number on her.
    • When asked why she didn't try and banish it, Luna only replied "I...couldn't." No one is brave enough to ask her to elaborate.
  • King Dedede seems to be one of the few Pantheon who isn't the least bit bothered by its claiming he's imperfect. Given that he's, at least in his mind, "already perfect" and therefore above this trumpet's opinion. The sight of King Dedede's unwavering ego is one of the very few things that is able to slightly crack the Perfect Trumpet Thingy's stoicism.
  • The Fazbear Gang see it as a rival of sorts, given that their brand of scares rely heavily on jumpscares. It doesn't help that while people are still plenty disturbed by the Perfect Trumpet Thingy, the Fazbear Gang's methods of horror have gotten stale for them. As far as anyone can tell, the Perfect Trumpet Thingy doesn't care either way.
  • The likes of Peppermint Butler has taken a particular interest in The Perfect Trumpet Thingy. While he claims that he's merely fascinated by it and has no intentions of summoning it, the gods have taken special precautions to prepare for the hell that may be unleashed if Pep-But were ever to bring it out of its domain.
  • The New Kid was one of the few that was relatively unfazed by the appearance of the Perfect Trumpet Thingy, given his experience with zombified Nazi fetuses. That said, he'd still rather forget about the nightmarish experience and wants nothing to do with the entity.
  • To the surprise of few, Bill Cipher finds its attempts at scaring him to be absolutely hilarious. Being one of the only beings that can meet the Perfect Trumpet Thingy face-to-face, Bill occasionally shows up in its domain to give it grief. It always responds by just staring at him in silence (likely in annoyance).
Bill Cipher: OH NO. A DATED CG FETUS THINKS I'M NOT AMAZING. I AM JUST SHAKING IN MY NON-EXISTENT BOOTS. YOU KNOW I KILLED ANOTHER UGLY BLUE BABY A LITTLE WHILE BACK, ONLY HE WAS A TIME GOD, SO I'M NOT SURE WHAT THIS IS SUPPOSED TO DO FOR ME. AND A JUMPSCARE? YOUR ENTIRE THING THAT DEFINES YOU WENT OUT OF STYLE AFTER THE KILLER BEAR ROBOT DRAGGED IT THROUGH THE GROUND. BUT KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING. I'M SURE YOU JUST FLOATING THERE MENACINGLY IS SCARING THE CRAP OUT OF ALL THE NINETIES KIDS OUT THERE.
    • Bill is possibly the only being that knows what the Perfect Trumpet Thingy is, but being the guy he is, he reused to give out any information on it. Although he did mention the two being roommates in college...which honestly raises even more questions.
  • "You're not perfect..."

What do you think of these rework ideas?

  • Omega: I believe that Omega might better fit No Face Under the Mask, as the antimatter has corroded him to the point he doesn't physically exist and there's nothing by pure willpower and consciousness beneath his mask
  • Shuckle: I would like to rework this lacking profile, but under the trope of Armored But Frail. Why do I think Shuckle fits this trope? It's true that Shuckle has the highest defense(tied with Mega Aggron) and the highest special defense of any Pokemon. However the Pokemon suffers from having an abysmal HP stat, the worst of any fully evolved Pokemon except for Shedinja
  • Kinzo Ushiromiya: I am wondering if the man is a better fit for Troubled Abuser. He's a mentally unstable abusive parent, even an incestuous rapist, and the main source of the family's issues. However he was a victim of manipulation by his older relatives, made to marry a woman he didn't love, sent off to World War II with Death Seeker issues, and went half-mad losing his mistress and the only woman he loved

Since I didn't get a clear answer last time, I'm going to ask these questions again — hopefully, no one minds...

First, has Penelope Mouse, in the Sly Cooper games, been sleeping around / getting into relationships like they're going out of style, as her profile says she she's doing in the Pantheon?

Second, are we sure it's a good idea to be applying things like Heartless and Personae to characters who don't canonically have them? For example, Penelope's Heartless and Marlin either having or being in line to have a Persona. I understand there was a discussion about that a long time ago, but I wasn't present for it.

Freudian Excuse: Not one person is entirely good or evil; something will have to have happened in the past to make them what they are today.

@Master Hero: What would Yumina think of the... rescue scheme pulled off by Naze and Amida? Check their profiles for details. Kyu and Cadance know about this, too.

Question: Would it have merit to implement a military ranking system in the Grand United Alliances (mainly the GUAE and GUAG)? For seniority?

[up][up][up] I checked the Sly Cooper Character pages, and it doesn't seem she acts that way in canon. She's just obsessed with Bentley Turtle.

@Patrickthekid [tup] for Chester A. Bum.

@Crimson Shark [tup] for Malekith.

@Master Hero [tup] for Yumina Ernea Belfast.

@Sawkman [tup] for the Perfect Trumpet Thingy.

@RJ-19-CLOVIS-93 Regarding the Crime Syndicate, how about giving them and their world Villain World? Even the non-supervillains of their world are dicks and it's stated that the very concept of "good" is either entirely foreign or their equivalent of "evil". Even the narrative laws are reversed, meaning that evil will always triumph over good.

[down]True, but even the most sympathetic portrayals depict it as a world of Black-and-Gray Morality at best. It's still always a world run by villains at the end of the day.

[down]For Offing the Mouth, I think it applies to the one getting offed.

[up]Not really. It kind of flip flops on the interpretation. Some versions of their world are "good and evil are normal, but our heroes are villains there", though they are usually in charge even then

  • Let's see what other people think

I would like an answer on how I should approach these tropes

[up] For the bullet thing, I'd say the former.

I've decided to make a military hierarchy database in the Pantheon. Anyone think it's a good idea?

@ Sawkman: Vaermina, as the Daedric Prince of dreams and nightmares, proclaims she knows all about Perfect Trumpet Thingy. Meanwhile Hermaemus Mora rebutted that he, as the Daedric Prince of Knowledge, claims he knows all about the Perfect Trumpet Thingy and that Vaermina doesn't know what she is talking about. The two have proceeded to butt heads over this.

Through looking at the facts it can be inferred that Vaermina is more likely to know about the entity as her realm of Quagmire is the source of nightmares as mortals unknowingly wander into it as they sleep. Thus, it can be assumed that there is a connection between Quagmire and the Perfect Trumpet Thingy, possibly being a resident there. Meanwhile Mora has been known to lie about being Omniscient before to further tempt mortals and his realm of Apocrypha doesn't truly have everything.

The problem in proving this theory is to willing go into their respective realms. Either you go into an ever-shifting nightmare ruled by a Prince who's fond of psychological torture or you go into a realm that is essentially an endless library where you're likely to go mad or get murdered by its inhabitants.

Other than that [tup]

I guess I will try to add more to this since I get no other comments on her being on her own. It has been a while since the anime aired so I can't recall that many details from it aside the fact that she is a deviation from the Abyssal-Fleet Girl cycle as her Abyssal self exists separate from her.

Fubuki, Goddess of Beginner's Equipment (Blizzard, Bucky, Kantai, Whobuki)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fubuki_cg.png
Fubuki Kai Ni
  • Demigoddess
  • Symbols: A model of the Japanese Destroyer Fubuki
  • Theme Music: "Fubuki" by Shiena Nishizawa; alternatively, "Miiro" by Akino of Bless4
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Starter Equipment, Ridiculously Average Girl, Only Sane Man, New Meat, Underplayed Protagonist Until The Anime, Sailor Fuku
  • Domains: Gameplay, Destroyers, Protagonists
  • Allies: Admiral, all of the ascended Fleet Girls, Souji Mitsuka, Ranko Kanzaki
  • Enemies: The Abyssal Fleet
  • Every Admiral has to start somewhere. Before they can start their careers, they are offered couple of options of starting ships. Fubuki is one of the five ships available. While she is in no way bad, there are plenty of other destroyers, let alone types of ships, available shirtly after getting her to fill out the roster. So how the Admirals choose to use her is up to them. At least she is the first of the starter ships to get a Kai Ni upgrade.
  • There were many gods who were surprised that Fubuki was so late to ascend, even though she is supposed to be the main heroine. Though most gods say that there isn't that much for her so there weren't many things she would try to ascend for.
    • Speaking of which, the Fubuki here is not directly related to the most noticeable one. Though she has bits and pieces of memories of different Fubukis anyway.
  • Surprisingly, Fubuki is actually rather good when it comes to speaking Russian.
  • Fubuki struck a surprising relationship with Souji Mistuka due of sounding like Tail Red. Though Fubuki says that her hair isn't really meant to have twintails.
  • Apparently Judai Yuki honestly thought that one of his friends (Fubuki Tenjoin) was acending because of Fubuki. While he tried to justify his confusion by saying that Fubuki is not a common name, he replied that he should have checked her surname (if she had any, that is).
  • Fubuki appears in World of Warships as one of two Tier VI (formerly a Tier VIII) Japanese destroyers, the other being Hatsuharu.
    • She also has an appearance in Battle Stations Pacific as one of three Japanese destroyer classes in that game, the other two being Minekaze and Shimakaze.

So, I took a deeper look at Penelope's profile (in Traitor Archetypes) and, long story short, it needs some reworking, I think. I detected some personal bias in the writing of it. I can understand why, but writing a good profile, I think, requires one to be impersonal. If any of my observations are wrong, please let me know.
